If you’re looking to waste your money, visit Ashley Furniture in Troy. We purchased a bedroom set in store and paid for white glove delivery. After waiting approximately 4–6 weeks for the furniture to arrive, the delivery team completed the “white glove” service only for the bed to be assembled incorrectly and the dresser to arrive damaged. That evening, we realized the bed was not put together properly. I called the store the next day and spoke with Hugh, who was fantastic. Although he couldn’t resolve the issue immediately, he promised to escalate it to a manager as soon as one was available. He followed through on that promise, and Evan, one of the owners, called me. Unfortunately, Evan was extremely unprofessional throughout the entire situation. I requested to return the bedroom set due to the improper installation and the compromised integrity of the bed. Evan repeatedly stated that returning it would result in a 25% restocking fee, despite the issues being caused by their delivery team. After going back and forth, I reluctantly agreed to let them attempt to fix the bed. Evan came out to repair it, but within 14 hours, the bed broke again. By this point, we had been dealing with this for days and had spent yet another night sleeping on the floor with our luxury Purple mattress. I called the store again, and they offered either to “rig” the bed frame (which is unacceptable after spending thousands on a new set) or process a return. I ultimately returned the set, which is what I wanted to do from the beginning. I do not recommend purchasing any bedroom sets from Ashley Furniture in Troy. Evan was highly unprofessional and consistently threatened a restocking fee, even when the problems were clearly due to the negligence of their delivery team.

I had a salesman named Hugh Allen who was so very helpful with finding me the stools to match one I had bought on Clearance. I ordered 2 more at the same time and they were on back order. I found out that store went bankrupt which left me with 1 stool and I needed 2 more. Hugh found me the stools I needed and I'm so happy I will have them for my Christmas party. Me and my family have bought alot of Ashley furniture and we will continue to do so. Thanks again and Merry Christmas.

We went to purchase a new mattress today and Bill greeted us when we arrived. He asked what we were looking for and we let him know. He asked quite a few questions that helped him point us to what we were looking for. He was knowledgeable and very kind. He answered every question we had and made the experience pleasant. This was our first time going to this store and it is very nice. They have a great selection. Our purchase today was in stock and we will have our new bed and adjustable base in one week (could have been sooner but Friday works better for us). We will be back again.

Catherine met me a year or so to look at items for an existing home I was living in. Decided to return a year later as I was constructing a new home. She was awesome and understood It was a new season. All is going well. See Catherine or any of the other sales people as they even call me by name when I came in. Great place and no nonsense! Catherine was so nice. I had been in previously…she showed me several items and I came back today and bought a table and chairs. She was helpful and explained what to expect of delivery. I will be back!

Went to the new store in Troy looking at buying either a love seat or two recliners. We chose two leather recliners that are a nice blue and rock. Upon receiving them we were very pleased, for a couple of days. The once chair we bought was a floor model because they didn't have two and it was going to be 4-6 weeks to get another one. We bought it and a new one they had in the storeroom. The"new" one started making a noise like the metal was going to pop out of the bottom. The service guy came out and it wouldn't do it while he was here. After he left, the chair kept getting worse and worse. They ordered a new mechanism for a 3 week old, $1200 recliner. The floor model is now doing the same thing and when you get out of the chair the springs sound like something from a 10 year old recliner or an old bed. New mechanisms won't fix a manufacturing flaw. Ashley used to be very good quality but now, they just "fix" it until it's out of warranty. Troy is a small town and I, based on the owners reply, plan on doing what is needed. The service manager is ordering new mechanisms and new seat core for new chairs. Granted, he's trying to do what's right, but like I told him, new $1200 chairs shouldn't have this issue already. He agreed. I'll await to hear what the owner has to say. Just to make myself clear, I approach things with an open mind and respect, but I work too hard to waste money on cheap junk, that will not go over well in a small city like Troy. I will update when I hear from the owner and see what the outcome is. I give it 3 stars waiting for the outcome. At least they are trying.

No pressure shopping is what I like. So many furniture stores attack you as soon as you walk through the store. Ashley’s in Troy were attentive but not overbearing. Hugh was great. I recommend this store if you need furniture. We ordered a TV stand from them and after they delivered it it was Grey and in the catalogue it look brown. Contacted them and told them that we wanted brown and they said they would take it back and they looked and found a brown one for the same price. They will work with you if you're not satisfied. They were very helpful.

I came to the store to find an exact replacement of a side table I purchase 3 years ago. I was greeted as I walked in the store. The sales associate found the item online. I ordered it right away. The associate also is going to call me when mattresses go on sale in May. This transaction took less than a half hour.

They were very helpful and very respectful in helping us pick out what we needed I would recommend this place to get furniture.

Hugh did a great job of making the experience stress free. He educated us on all the reclining chair offerings and available colors. He also educated us on their sale, delivery policy, and insurance policy. We never felt rushed or pressured. We are happy with our purchase.

Our experience with Bill Mumford a sales associate was excellent. We made a purchase today and made the choice to return mid week for a considerably larger purchase. In an exchange with a person I will assume is an owner or Sales manager, we changed our mind. At the end of our exchange, I told that person "you just made a mistake ". He disagreed...I'm sure the retailer that is providing us with the furniture thanks you. I'm just sorry for Bill. He did an awesome job.

Went in to buy a loveseat, found the material and color I need on a clearance model, price was so good I purchased a couch set for a gift. Salesman very helpful and give us time to look on our own

Purchased a table and chairs from the Troy Ohio Ashley Store. Salesmen was great and answered all of our questions. We received the delivery of the table and noticed damage to the table and contacted our salesmen and he referred us to Eric who handles warranty issues. I sent email with pictures of the table and Eric sends message that they were ordering a touch-up kit to make a repair. I informed him that a touch up kit won't fix the issue. 3 weeks later I send another email to Eric to see if they had a resolution for the issue and crickets.(Eric is obviously super busy or terrible at responding to Emails) So another 2 weeks go by and I send another email expressing my frustration and then I get a response that the table will be replaced and they can delivery that Friday. I couldn't except that date due to work and they rescheduled for a Saturday. I received the delivery on Saturday and they delivered the showroom display that had more damage then the table I had already received.(They tried to pull a fast one by delivering a used display table to me and never communicated that they were bringing the floor model) I called in and talked with the manager Evan (who acted like he didn't know they brought out the display model) and he had the delivery driver bring the old table back to my house. Evan said they would make it right and get a new table to replace the damaged one. Its been 3 weeks since the conversation with Evan and still haven't heard from anyone. Seems to be how they do business, happy to get the sale and then good luck getting an undamaged product. So to say the least I purchased a damaged table in November 2024 and now its March 2025 and still have the same damaged table.

The man was rude and talked down to me and my wife like we were stupid then he charged me 100 dollars for delivery and my house is literally a mile away and when I got home and was watching tv watching tv and seen your commercial it says free delivery so no I wasn’t happy

Everything went smoothly, recliner was delivered as scheduled and it’s wonderful! Jonathan was very helpful on our 2 phone calls then again in the store when I came in to purchase the recliner. He even called the day after delivery to make sure everything was ok. Excellent service!

Overall great atmosphere with very genuine employees. In particular Bill and Rob were very helpful during our search for the perfect sectional. Bill walked us through the sectionals and explained the benefits of each one. Rob helped us customize our selected sectional. It was a great experience.

Between July and November 2024 my wife and I shopped at, and purchased several furniture items from, the Ashley Store in Troy, Ohio. During each visit and transaction, we experienced the utmost in professionalism and helpfulness. Just as significant, we were treated with an uncommon amount of friendliness and courtesy. That level of customer service was reflected by every segment of the Ashley Troy operation, from our sales associate (Catherine); her manager (Rob); and the crew who delivered our furniture (led by Eric). It is not common for an entire operation to render such exceptional, friendly & professional service-there is usually a “weak link” somewhere along the way. Not so with these guys. We’d be remiss if we didn’t thank Catherine specifically. She was the first person we encountered at Ashley in Troy. She certainly set the tone for our entire experience.

First time ever visiting an Ashley store and we were very impressed. Bright and clean and not over crowded. You could actually walk around the pieces and sit on them unlike some other locations we had visited. Prices were very reasonable and not high pressure sales people. Will definitely return for future purchases.

Went into the store to purchase a recliner and loved this recliner I quickly priced checked it and found it about 100 dollars cheaper and found it at the furniture store and try to get them to lower just a little and they wouldn’t so I took my business somewhere else and was much happier

The people were friendly. They wanted to charge $100.00 for in-town delivery and wouldn't remove the old recliner. I guess that's a normal standard nowadays.

She arranged our old furniture to be picked up and the new brought to the house, and we are very, very pleased with our selection from the new Ashly furniture store here in Troy, Ohio.

First time to the Ashley Store. The store is a very beautiful store, very inviting. Morgan was the young lady that assisted me on my search for a new couch & chair. She asked what I was looking for in the couch & chair. I told her what I had, it was a pull lever, she said is that what you are wanting again or would you like to have electric i said I was having issues with closing the footrests. She asked if I had a color in mind maybe beige or light gray she showed me various materials. I tried various ones over and over to make my decision. I will come again when in need of something else,and will refer friends & family Tonya

Our salesman was Hugh Allen. Very friendly and helpful. He was even able to make accommodations to hold our furniture purchase in house for several weeks until we are ready for delivery.

I visited four different stores during my mattress search, and honestly Ashley Furniture in Troy won me over with their excellent customer service. No one else came close! I had the privilege of working with Catherine. She was present, patient, polite, and personable. Her relatable experience with her own mattress journey and strong furniture expertise sold me on Beautyrest. Besides beds, she allowed me to try out pillows. Rob had me approved for financing within minutes. Mattress and foundation arrived on time as promised and was delivered with care and efficiency. I’m very happy with my purchases. I’m no longer waking up stiff, and I no longer need to turn multiple times to get comfortable. I am comfortable as soon as I get in, and I am sleeping like a king! Thanks to Catherine, Rob, and the Ashley Furniture team for giving me my beauty rest back! I will choose Ashley for all my future furniture needs, and I will be sending all my family and friends your way!

This was my first time visiting Ashley Furniture, Troy Oh. The minute I walked in I was met with a friendly greeting and a, "how can I help you", that was very refreshing as I was then allowed to browse at my own leisure, and when it was time to answer my questions my sales associate Drew was extremely knowledgeable, I felt so welcomed! Drew gave me different ideas for my unusual sized rooms showed me around and answered all my questions, this made finding what I needed simple. I will definitely be coming here again for my future furniture purchases!

Beautiful store with a great staff! The range of styles of furniture was phenomenal. My wife and I felt very welcome in this store. We didn’t have a great idea of what we wanted and just wanted to browse, but with the fantastic selection and the floor plan setup we got a great look at multiple selections along with how to configure our new furniture to our home. This along with the sales staff shaped our experience into everything we could ask for.

This was my first time visiting Ashley Furniture and I had such a positive experience!! Typical overpriced furniture. Tired their hardest to pressure me into buying from the store for almost $100 dollars more. Why not skip the middleman and buy directly from Ashley instead of through the store? It was easy to tell how frustrated the staff was, and the environment felt unfriendly. One of the employees was very unprofessional and was constantly swearing when speaking to me. He let out a load groan the moment I declined to buy what he was trying to sell me. A very nice, new store, with an unprofessional and predatory staff. NEVER buy directly from them, if you see anything you like, it will do you more good to buy it from Ashley directly rather than this privately-owned Ashley retailer.

actually, I went down to Lovely furniture in Middletown and they referred me over to a warehouse they owned in Germantown, I saved over 75% on my Serta queen size mattress because the tag was torn off the mattress and it violated federal rules, so I bought the Serta dirt cheap and I have been sleeping cheaply since.

I was in there today and was BLOWN AWAY by their selection! This place is absolutely enormous! They have everything you could possibly need. Hugh helped me out today and was so friendly and knowledgeable. I picked out an entire bedroom set and was still under budget! The owners were there today too and were so nice! You can definitely tell this one is family owned. The bedroom set I chose is gorgeous and SOLID! I can’t get over the quality. Hugh was able to save the info on a matching dining room set that I’m saving up for next. I can’t wait for my next visit! Such a positive experience. You can feel the love! ❤️
