I had a very good experience at Ashley Furniture Store on Boardman -Poland The staff was pleasant, and helpful with helping me remember the furniture I wanted to purchase from the moment that I walked into the store. The Sales Agent Chase Prosser was nice and professional. He answered my questions, & gave me helpful information, for removing the old furniture from my apartment. I walked out happy with my purchase and the final price, which I already paid in full. I honestly can't wait until Saturday April 4, 2026. Chase Prosser, even informed me that he would contact me, if the date of delivery moves up, and he also said that I would be contacted, with the time that the furniture would arrive, I was so happy with Chase Prosser I hugged him for all his efforts, of saving me money.

Greeted on entry, we asked to just look around. A little later Nancy gave us options available. When we didn't find exactly what we wanted, she suggested a dining table we had missed. After trying it out it was perfect for our small area. She was friendly and knowledgeable without being pushy. Appreciate the experience.

We stopped in today looking for a new bedroom set for our daughter, which we didn't find.... however, we have been looking for a new sectional for a couple of months now to replace our current beat-up recliner and loveseat and we finally found one at Ashley that we liked for a price that we liked even better. Nancy was a huge help and after informing us that the sectional we were looking at was 20% off on top of the great price, we couldn't pass it up. Next time we need any furniture, we will be heading to Ashley first!

I purchased a bed frame that had a drawer on each side of the bed. One drawer and it's hardware was missing upon delivery. I called the warehouse number and they said they would mail me the missing drawer and parts. I told them that was fine things happen. A month and a half later the drawer finally arrives but with no hardware to install it. So I now have to call the warehouse again and probably wait out another ridiculous time frame for the hardware to arrive, hopefully not missing anything the third time. This is my first and last time I will be purchasing anything from this company.

You get a good deal over there but Poor delivery service they keep scheduling cancelling and rescheduling!! many times! Such a disappointment!! will not be back again

Think a million times before you buy from this store Yes, they have nice products and helpful and nice employees but that’s where the positives end. The delivery experience is an absolute nightmare. They work with the worst delivery company imaginable. My items were in stock, yet my delivery was scheduled and canceled repeatedly. Ordered on Thursday, scheduled for Saturday and canceled. Rescheduled for Tuesday and canceled. Then Saturday again and canceled. Each time, I took a full day off work just to wait. They completely wasted my time, caused major inconvenience and frustration and left me without furniture after I had already sold my old couches. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. I will be returning my order. No professional company operates this way.

Dude was cool showed us what we asked for and didnt push extras on me .... the other stores I went to today ( 5 Ashley being 6 ) this guy was more personable and seemed more knowledgeable than the other stores the other associates were obsessed with their phones or tablets ... would recommend and will be back for a couch now we have a new bed .

Excellent customer service, quality products and selection! We purchased a console table and are going back to purchase a new sofa. We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Ashley Store! Prior to visiting Ashley Store, we went to two other furniture stores in the area. We were disappointed in the lack of customer service and below average quality of the products at both stores. We’re grateful that Ashley Store values their customers and stands behind the products that they offer.

Went to Ashley to look at furniture. Had an idea of what we were looking for but not exactly sure. Wanted to browse. Was greeted as soon as we walked in the door and when we said we wanted to look there was no pressure, just a nice person saying if you need help I'm here, this was Jason. So we browsed thru the store and when we were almost at the end Jason approached and asked if we needed anything. I showed him some pictures and he proceeded to show us what I had on the phone, then he also proceeded to show us the other items he had in the store. Jason was knowledgeable, not pushy, kind and gave space when needed. We purchased our new sofa and chair and ottaman that evening. I would definitely recommend Jason as a sales person any day.

5 stars for Cyndi. My wife & I walked into the store Saturday evening around 6:30 and most of the reps just sat there. Cyndi approached my wife & I and introduced herself and told us the pricing models/special rates. She knew her product, differences between models & materials the drawer slides were made with etc. We went home that night to measure new bedroom furniture would fit. We told her we would be back in the morning, save the quote & I would like to be in and out next day. 15 minutes the next day, order was in & signed for. I manage a large automotive sales department & can tell you this rep is an asset to your sales department. 👍

We were in a few stores before coming into Ashleys and were greeted at the door like everywhere else but was told if we needed anything to just wave him down and he would be right over. Well the store isn't as big as the other stores we were in but, as my wife and I were on the way home we both agreed it was actually a good thing. The other stores were very overwhelming because there was just so many things. We were looking for a dining room table and chairs and a king size bed. Well wish we would have went there first because we found exactly what we wanted and it was on sale and the best part is it will be delivered in half the time as anywhere else. Very satisfied and we will definitely be back. Our adventure to find what we wanted seamed very simple there. Thank you again!!! We were in the Boardman OH location, we bought a king size Beautyrest hybrid mattress and a dining set

First time ever making any purchases with Ashley Furniture, and from this experience, I will most certainly be returning for any house-hold furniture. If anyone is ever going to the Boardman, Ohio store, I highly recommend seeing Ms. Gorgacz. . . .she doesn't pressure or push, just a breath of knowledge and an endless supply of answers.

I will NEVER Oder from Ashley’s furniture again. I ordered my furniture. I paid for my furniture and they came to deliver my furniture and decided that they were not going to deliver my furniture due the snow. The delivery drivers decided to laugh at me. I have no bedroom furniture no bed chester or nightstand. Ashley still hasn’t given me my furniture or my money back. Why come to my house with my furniture to tell me that you’re not going to deliver.. if I could give 0 stars I would I’m disabled and have no furniture. My heart is broken I’m disgusted and I’m out of $2500 . I paid for premium delivery not for them to call me tell me they are coming and then come to my home only to tell me that they won’t take my furniture of the truck because it’s snowing. They knew it was snowing prior to picking up the truck and driving to my house. Ashley furniture needs to make this right. They still don’t have a solution to make it right. But I still don’t have my money back. I finally got my money back after Ashley’s furniture tried to deliver furniture that I didn’t order and it was broken from sitting on a truck for 3 days because it was freezing cold outside. Ashley’s furniture please treat your other customers better than you treated me. I will never shop with you again.

I was able to get the beds that I wanted at the same price as on line. The staff was extremely helpful, and made sure I got the right mattress and adjustable base that met my needs.

As a first time buyer and visitor I was pleasantly surprised at the zero pressure/harassment to buy. I went in to look at a couch and they weren’t trying to shove it down my throat. I was the one that did all the inquiring and asking and made the decision for myself and that was refreshing.

Salesman did a wonderful job

I recently gave Ashley home store a 5 star review after purchasing a few items at their Boardman location a month ago. But my experience with their lack of quality in customer service skills when THEY make a mistake is what changed my opinion. One of the items I recently purchased was a large area rug that needed to be shipped to my home. I made sure that the sales rep updated all of my current information, including my new address, phone number, etc. I left with my receipt that has my correct shipping address. It was still delivered to the WRONG address, which is my OLD address where my nephew now lives. It is still in their system from a prior purchase I made at their store back in 2020. I called Ashley customer service TWICE regarding THEIR error & was told the same thing, someone would get back to me, which no one ever did. It still worked out in my favor anyway because my nephew wanted to buy the rug from me so I wouldn't need to worry about getting it. But as for Ashley furniture - they obviously care nothing about their customers. They definitely lost one of them.👎

Recently shopped at this store, pricing was great as most of the surrounding stores near by were pricier. Though, this store was cost effective, the quality of the mattress received was poor quality. The customer service for replacement or returning of the merchandise is long & poor. Ive sent multiple pictures showing the defects & unfortunately, they keep requesting more & more specific pictures. What more do you need if the photos attached clearly show the product was defective. I highly recommend to consider another company as the selling process was quick but the returning/replacement option is not worth it. ***PHOTOS ATTACHED SHOW LOPSIDED EDGES & BENT/DEFORMED FRAME***

I will never order from here again. First it took 2 delivery for me to get get the correct livingroom furniture. Now for the bedrooms 2 of the same beds on the third delivery I finally got one bed correct. Now going on the fourth delivery for the other bed and is going to take another 2 to 3 weeks before I can get that bed put together yet because they have to order the hardware now after the 3rd time. I paid for this service and it should be correct the first time. Already been sleeping on my couch for almost 2 weeks and now me or my daughter will be doing it for another 2 to 3 weeks. This is ridiculous I was ok with the first time mistakes happen but now I am going on the 4th time. So if you order from aahleys expect this to happen.

I did not have a good experience at Ashley furniture. I purchased a mattress (way too soft )and base and they make you buy 150 mattress cover or they won't warranty your mattress..I changed my mind on the mattress and it was truly such a hassle..I picked another mattress that was 200 cheaper in price and I didn't get the refund for that and top of that they charged me over 200 dollars to deliver for new mattress..I dont think this is good buisness..I will never shop Ashley again! Also didn't tell me I needed brackets for base but they did give me those as a courtesy. I am so unhappy with my shopping experience at Ashley furniture 😕

We have shopped for furniture at other places and the experience was terrible, salespeople following you around like you’re going to steal something! Ashley’s was not like that, Jamie was more than friendly and did not pressure us but rather answered our questions and gave us all the information we needed to decide. Joshua Jones has been great. He helped me find the right piece of furniture and then helped to coordinate its delivery, as I am moving and needed to be delayed. I have had to contact him multiple times in the process and he is always friendly. I highly recommend Ashley Home and Joshua Jones.

A little disappointed I had called the store in the morning to see if they had a specific furniture group and was so excited to be told yes they had it I told her I would be there right after work. Only to arrive and find out it had been sold. I worked with Josh, he apologized many times although it wasn’t his fault and by the end of the visit he found a group I purchased. Still very disappointed I didn’t get what I wanted but Josh was great.

Very nice not pushy

When purchasing a mattress the sales man explained to me that i had to purchase a mattress pad to secure the option to return the mattress if we didn't like it. The cost was $149.00 and I would get 120 days to decide. I asked what options i had if i didn't purchase the pad, he said none. I later found out that Nectar offers the same thing, but 365 days. Dishonest sales...

We went to Ashley’s in Boardman, Ohio to purchase a bedroom set. We were greeted immediately. Bill was our sales person. He is very knowledgeable and has great customer service. Bill has kept us updated from ordering to delivery date. Because of Bill I will purchase again.

Experience was very good

Absolutely terrible customer service from their customer service department. I’ve had my dining room table for 3 months and has water rings from regular use and they are refusing to do anything about it. Won’t come out and look at it. Just made a decision that it wasn’t a manufacturer defect from a picture. It’s a dining room table. Not a dresser. It should not leave water rings and ruin my table in 3 months. Wouldn’t recommend their products anymore.

When I arrived at Ashley I was greeted by Dave Messersmith. He was extremely helpful and directed me where I needed to go. He checked on me several times to see if I was finding what I was looking for. I ended up buying a sofa and a recliner. This was the best experience I have ever had buying furniture. Dave is a great salesman and if I need to make another purchase I will seek him out.

when i walked in i was greeted by salesman who referred me to the woman behind the counter who i noted had the disgusting act to not listen and blow you off. before i could finish my inquiry she was already blowing me off, now that i am humiliated i walk away from her and return to jason whom i informed that i did my home work for this store for 2 days and asked him to show me the hollynx table set i told him i know you have this item and with some what reluctance he hesitated briefly before he plugs in hollynx i informed him that i usually do not shop unless i know the items i want is carried by any store. so... he says lets look for it which i follow him and then stopped him and pointed to the set on my left we walked to it i also informed him if i had to deal with that woman again then this will be a no sale and i would drive to the store in new york that has product he dealt with me and i purchased item which is on back order that is no problem for me. all i want when i shop is to be seen as a person whether i am dressed up or dressed down and to be heard. no more and no less

The customer delivery service is not good been waiting on a Chester drawer since January of 2025. Every time it is to be delivered they say it’s damaged. No one has done anything to resolve the issue

I called the Ashley store in Boardman to ask some questions about a specific recliner. I spoke with Chase and he answered all my questions. So I went to the store a couple hours later and purchased the recliner. Chase was a pleasure to deal with, and I now know where to go if I need any furniture in the future.

Last year we ordered our bedroom suite, living room and dining room furniture from you guys. We paid extra to have you guys assemble everything. The dining room table came without legs so we had to wait for those to come in, the chest of drawers for our bedroom came without predrilled holes for the handles and the dresser had a chip in it which we just overlooked. Now we ordered our baby’s crib and dresser from you guys. The crib came without any of the hardware and instructions to put it together. We filed a claim on the 24th and have been getting the run around ever since. We have spent well over $10,000 with you guys in the last year in a half and have been treated very poorly through all of this.

The salesmen asked if we needed help as soon as we walked in. We got everything we needed and ended up buying more than we came in for. He was very knowledgeable, not pushy and very helpful. We will definitely buy furniture from Ashley going forward. It was a great experience.

We purchased the protection plan on our furniture 5 years ago. As promised, we got all of the plan price back and used it yesterday to purchase a new area rug. I don't know any other retailer that refunds your total purchase price if the protection plan is unused. Great perk of buying from Ashley. Staff couldn't have been nicer!

Monica was a wonderful sales associate that helped us purchase our new couch! She was very kind and welcoming to our toddler that was accompanying us as well! We visited a competitor store prior to visiting Ashley and did not have the warm welcoming experience that we did at Ashley. Not only was Monica kind to us and our daughter, every associate smiled at us warmly. Kindness to our child goes a long way. We did spend more than we would have at the competitor store, however we feel the quality will out last the other. The protection plan also convinced us of that. We have not received our couch yet, but we are looking forward to its arrival next week. We will shop with Monica at Ashley Boardman for any future furniture needs!

I picked out 3 recliners to look at. None of them were in the store. After choosing one, I found out I was not able to pick up at the store but having to pay an extra 100 dollars for delivery and now have to wait a month until it gets delivered. I purchased 2000.00 worth of furniture in the past and that was a much better shopping experience then my recent one.

We recently purchase a couch from Cyndi at the Boardman OH store and she was so wonderful and helpful. She was so easy to talk to and It was probably the easiest and smoothest purchases I have ever made purchasing furniture.

The quality of furniture is great the delivery drivers were respectful of my home had a small rip from moving they made it good to fix it at no cost the best for me was working with delivery as I am more available on my weekend off I definitely recommend them. Love my new furniture.

The reason for the three star is I bought a bedroom set from there and was happy until I get home and scratchers was all on top of it and a missing handle which they said they would mail me along with my boxspring they didn't have for the bed I had to finance separate. So I get a delivery email saying my boxspring and handle is being delived to the wrong address even though I told them my new address five times! I call up there and she fixes the address but it was to late for the handle that already went out but she told me it was coming through the mail so I said it's going to my old address but the post office should catch it and reroute it to me it just may take awhile but nope it is coming through UPS so now I am not getting my handle! Then my husband goes back down to Ashley's to get a bedframe and the lady their Jamie was so nasty! We had a coupon that said we could use in the store for $50 dollars off no matter the amount we spend. She was basically yelling saying "No you can't use that it's already only $100 dollars! Excuse me? You lost my handle to my scratched up dresser you sent me and I had to waste my day calling the store because you guys sent it to the wrong address! If anything I should have got my bedframe for free! After being treated like that and all the headache to get my boxspring and lost handle I will never get I will not be back! I was going to buy a whole sectional couch and a recliner from them but not now after what they put me through. The delivery for the boxspring was great because the delivery guys were kind and professional but I am very upset with Ashley's Furinture in Boardman! If you buy from this place make sure the furniture does not have scratches and the handles are not missing. Also make sure you ask twenty times if the address is correct or they will send it to the wrong address! Also to the older lady Jamie Do Not Yell at your customers! PS I enclosed pictures of the missing handle and the this boxspring they gave me! My bed is almost to the ground. My kitty is in the picture. Update: After we talked with the Manager Bill he did make it right and was able to work something out over the bedframe issue. The very next day I got a call from corperate to ask us about or experience and why we was not happy and listened to our concerns and she genuinely seemed to care which some companies don't bother to call so I did appreciate that. I am happy that the company does care about their customers and that the customers voice is heard because there is always two sides to every story and Ashley's Corperate does listen to both sides.

I ordered a bedroom set for myself and 2 more for my sons. It was delivered and 1 bed was broken and 1 dresser was broken. The delivery people told me about this. This was Friday and when I spoke to the warehouse, I was told they wouldn’t get to me until Tuesday. When I told them that was not going to work, magically it was available for the next day. After they left, and I was making up our bed I noticed that the mirror on the dresser wasn’t installed correctly so there was a screw popping out, and also my footboard had a chip in it. My husband came home and called the Ashley Store because that was where we bought it and assumed that they would provide customer service. We were basically told that they can’t help with anything and we have to talk to the warehouse directly. The pieces in my bedroom art won’t be available until the end of April. I mistakenly thought that Ashley had a higher quality of furniture, but the only thing higher was the price.

Called Ashley furniture in Youngstown oh., spoke to the most helpful man ever and he set me up immediately with my order. No fuss buying, explained everything to me along with the warranty he sold me for a hundred and some change, gave me the delivery date and BOOM, done! He made certain I was happy and thanked me for shopping. I purchased a HUGE bedroom ensemble about 5 years ago and it is still GORGEOUS! Excellent craftsmanship, wood used and it’s really stunning. I receive a lot of compliments on this. Ashley has an abundance of high end and quality pieces that are extremely attractive, affordable and very well made.

Highly recommend. I was lost when I first came in. The salesman, Jon Brown, pointed me in the right direction. My wife and I were there to purchase 2 mattresses. Jon helped us through the whole process, from picking out both mattresses and accessories. We were very happy with the end price also. The whole process was very painless and easy. We will be back. Again, highly recommend!

I worked with Dave Messersmith. He was not pushy and was extremely helpful. We bought a living room set and he helped get us set up for our delivery process.

I highly recommend Josh at the Boardman location. I never felt rushed or pressured. He answered all of my questions, and was very professional, yet friendly. I only came in to look really but the sale was too good to pass up on this particular sofa that I had my eye on. I opted for the home delivery and the extra product protection, at his suggestion. After he explained all that it covered for about 15% of the total cost of the sofa, it was a no brainer. My luck, someone would spill red wine on my new ivory upholstery, so the protection plan is worth it. The delivery is set for 2 weeks from the point of purchase (very reasonable for a big box furniture store). I would gladly recommend Ashley Store and Josh to any of my friends or family. I will be back, maybe for a recliner and a mattress next. FYI, treat your salesperson right, bc they know about extra savings and deals that you may not be aware of. Just a helpful tip. If I could give zero stars I would. I purchased a sectional two years ago and bought the extended protection plan. About two months after having the couch the material began piling, the cushions wore down, all of which is not covered under the warrenty (which I understand the wear & tear from day to day life). I make this comment to just point out that the quality was clearly not good from the beginning. Then a few weeks ago the seam started to separate from the binding on one of th cushions, so I reached out to the company to open a ticket because I was explain by the sales person when purchasing the protection plan that as long as damage was not caused by pets or a person that it would be covered. Again, this is a quality issue and after submitting pictures and the form my claim was denied. The representative explained that this is not something that is covered under the protection plan and my ticket was closed. I am left highly disappointed and feeling like I paid for nothing. I will never be making a purchase from Ashley's or any of their sister stores. As a company you chose to work with these brands and it is sad that you don't stand behind the product you are selling. Highly dissatisfied!

I ordered my couch on Nov 24th. When I ordered the sectional, everything was available & set for delivery Dec 17th. A week before delivery, I was informed that the corner piece was no longer available & they couldn't bring my couch until after christmas. I called in, thankfully the employees at the store were helpful because customer service was NOT. They told me that they could deliver 2 pieces on the 17th as planned & that the wedge could be delivered the 21st. That would work because we got rid of our old living room furniture ahead of the initial delivery. Now here I am on the 20th, I get a text stating the last piece will not be delivered until after Christmas. We are hosting a birthday party & Christmas for our families. It is not ideal to be without pieces of your furniture. I was told that my "backordered" piece arrived at the warehouse on the 19th, but it did not make it on the truck to be delivered on the 21st. I am frustrated with the situation, especially since I was told that the furniture was IN STOCK a MONTH ago when I ordered it. No one seems to care about the situation that we are in. We have purchased a decent amount of furniture from Ashley's, I will think twice before doing it again.

Solid product!

My 89 year old fathers lift chair bought from ashleys stopped working the remote needed replaced. We purchased the warranty the repair man came out over 6 weeks ago said the part would be in 10 days. We are still waiting for a replacement when I call to see if they have shipped I am told no. My poor dad cannot get out of the chair if the remote doesnt work. Just beware when they try and sell you a warranty promising they will fix your issues because we wasted over 120$ and still no replacement 6 weeks later. Not a happy customer...

i see your reply would like to know our actual experience. It was actually not that good. We picked out 3 different couches in your system and could not try out ANY of them. I called 6 stores within 3 hours for us. no luck. They say its not a floor model. we went on to Raymour an Flanigan and got what we needed. :)

It was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend asking for Cyndi ! She is delightfully honest and sincere . She answered my questions and then some . She also was understanding when I couldn't find my drivers license and had to go home and find it . I found it all right , wedged between a couple $20 bills in my wallet purse . ( I had it ALL along ) I came to buy an early Christmas present for my husband , a reclining chair ; bonus I ended getting a love seat for the two of us ! Score ! Went in to purchase a dining set, didn’t find what I was looking for, but did need a set of purple sheets for our bed. After a bit of searching, the front desk manager told me that I had a protection plan warranty that had a credit because we hadn’t used it, and credited the balance towards my sheets which, my sales associate sold me for the online sale price. It was just an awesome day. They went out of their way to make sure I was completely satisfied 👍🏾

Visited the store on a Saturday afternoon to order 2 rocker/recliners. We were greeted as we entered the store and asked if we needed help but declined so we could look around. After deciding on recliners we quickly located a salesperson and placed our order. All our questions were answered during the process. We then took the order to the service desk and made payment. Great selection and friendly staff.

Never buy warranty. They will not honor it, and will treat you terribly. Management when asked to intervene also discriminate against disabilities, and violate state laws. Nearly had to get a lawyer involved over a simple defect on a $5000 peice of furniture!

I visited 7 stores looking for a mattress set. I was most pleased with Ashley's Youngstown store , and the deal that I got. My salesman, Chase did an excellent job, and I will go back there in the future.

After shopping for 2 years for replacement furniture (I'm picky and cheap), I finally found a living room set. Was very happy with my purchase since it was during a 'labor day sale'. I received a couch, loveseat, chair and ottoman for $2,000. Sales guy, Dave, was great and the financing department had me set up for 12 payments with zero interest within 10 minutes. Fastest deal I have found!
