I had a good experience shopping at the Ashley Store. Found what I was looking for. I highly recommend asking for Elliot if you need assistance while you are shopping.

Elliot that works there was outstanding so lets start with that. He had all the patience in the world as we looked for furniture throughout the store to find what was perfect for us. Now, when we paid and was setting everything up, we were told they would deliver and set up on this date. When they arrived, the dropped the furniture off and when asked are you going to set up it, my husband and I were told, oh we dont do that. That is not what your store told us. So now on a Sunday evening after 6pm, we get to assemble furniture. Total lie on the stores part and will not purchase again. If you buy something, please make sure you have help to put together your stuff. Also, thanks for letting us figure out what to do with these big furniture boxes that dont fit in our trash bins.

They might be friendly and engaging on the sales floor, but when it comes to service after the sale ot is impossible to get help or even an apology. I will never go back.

Jennifer was great to work with. Sue was patient and showed me everything I asked for. It became apparent during the transaction that she was new but to her credit, when she wasn’t sure, she got the manager to confirm information instead of just guessing! I appreciated that a lot. She and Kenny were fantastic to work with and were very patient with me even after 4 hours of shopping.

I really hate to come gripe but at this point, there's not much communication. I bought my furniture 8/17 and have still been waiting for their dilvery drivers to not break my stuff. I have had three separate items broken per their "we handle it for you" plan. I've reached out multiple times since the last break. If you want a company to take account for themselves, so far this isn't the one. I'm still waiting on concessions that I asked just a week ago after countless situations.

Employees were rude. We reserved 2 end tables then went to pick them up the next day & employee told us that they were now going to be $850 because we waited until the next day to purchase even though they were a closeout special and we had reserved them the night before. Our salesperson the night before also informed us the price wouldn't change then she wasn't there the next day when they tried to more than double the price from $350 to $850. Also, had to have a friend pick up the other end table in Tulsa because you guys won't ship close out specials and no one even put our end table back after it had been sold to us. It was still out on the sales floor despite being the only other table within 1000s of miles. Therefore someone else could have purchased the item in the mean time and we would have never gotten the other table. I will never shop with Ashley Furniture again after this experience.

I had an awful experience at this store today 10/11/2025. My husband and I went to Ashley Furniture in Norman this morning. I needed a Metal Queen Sized Box Spring, I pulled up the one I wanted online but the salesman named Juan Santana told me it wasn’t available to pick up today but he had a “Better one” it was around the same price and I confirmed that is it metal and he said correct (they didn’t have one in the showroom so I took his word for it) my husband then drove 30 minutes to Mathis Brothers to pick it up and it was made of wood and not metal. The entire reason I’m needing a new one is to replace my current wooden box spring with a metal one. Thankfully I was able to call customer service and get the return started before my husband even left the warehouse. Mr. Santana confirmed to my husband and I in person that it WAS metal when it wasn’t, the customer service rep even confirmed over the phone that the one ordered was wood. So Ashley/Mathis Brothers over the phone customer service gets 5 stars but I will not be shopping at Ashley Furniture in Norman, OK again.

Horrible experience returning an unused 216 dollar pillow. Christian the manager was putting profit over people. Lost a customer.

Elliot greeted us in a very genial manner and kept his distance until her heard us talking about ‘needs’. The we talked to him and told him what we were looking for. Honestly, I was just browsing today. But he showed us a piece of furniture that I fell in love with immediately. We bought it on the spot.

Pierre was amazing. He didn't try to rush us on a decision. He showed us all of the items we were wanting to look at. He explained everything from price, choice of material and warranty. Ashley's had good prices.

I liked Ginger from the start. It was a bonus to be able to walk around the store at my leisure, and Ginger was so helpful when I had questions.

From the salespersons to the customer care everyone in the store is very professional and the cleanliness of the store is remarkable.

Free delivery means in your yard unless they can hustle you for money to move it 5 feet inside. Without “incentive,” the couch was left in the grass.

They have a good amount on display and the furniture is fairly good quality. You find a mix like any furniture store.

This entire experience was terrible. From being rudely greeted at the front, to the sneaky sales associate adding a membership that I didn’t want and to the inability to deliver the furniture. To begin, when I arrived, the person at the front asked what I was looking for. When I wasn’t exactly sure, I did quickly mention a price range. His response was that the store couldn’t help get me anything. Mind you, my price range wasn’t fixed, but a recommendation. However, he basically said they couldn’t help me. I don’t know why I continued in, but I did. By the time a sales associate came to help me, we were able to find something that fit my needs. Now, most importantly was the delivery date. To fit my needs, my options were actually limited to a not preferred option. Well, I went with it because it was more important to get the furniture quicker. During the checkout process, i signed the forms they gave me and wasn’t too concerned with the details until I got home and read the receipt. The receipt revealed that I was being charged $300 for delivery and set up. However, $160 was merely for a membership program to the store. I didn’t want a membership program and shame on me for not looking and realizing that I was getting charged $300 for the delivery of a $400 piece of furniture. When I called and talked to them about this, they explained it all and I thought, it was OK because at least I was getting the furniture quickly as I needed beds for two foster children that were already at my house. I continue to have questions and try to reach out to the sales associate, and he stopped picking up my phone calls and stopped responding to my text messages, I think because he didn’t want to help me anymore. When I finally called the store and asked to speak to the sales associate, instead of calling him directly on the number that he gave me on his business card, When I was connected with the sales associate, he said he wasn’t going to do the refund process and I could just refuse delivery. I was trying to change and get a refund on the additional mattresses as someone in my family had a mattress I could have and I didn’t need to purchase a new one.Then on the delivery day, the delivery people showed up with no beds and said the beds could not be delivered for some time because they were on backorder. So, so, yes, I had mattresses for the girls to sleep on, on the floor the bedframe, which was not my preferred bedframe, was more expensive than I had wanted to spend, and at a store that had been rude and unwelcoming to me from the beginning, When the bedframe couldn’t be delivered for some unknown time, I decided to at that point tell them I didn’t want them to come back and I would not like to just work a refund. I will, however, command the delivery guys for their honest and compassionate nature, their sincerity, and their apology for not being able to bring it. I would also like to command the people customer service who worked the refund for me because they were very kind and compassionate as well. However, this store gets a one star, and if I could give it less, I would because everybody from the greeter to the sales associate and the store itself for telling me they could deliver something and hiding the fact it was actually on backorder, was completely lackluster, and by the way, that sneaky membership program, I still have it, because I can’t get a refund on it. No pictures to add, because I didn’t get anything. This store has gone downhill and I do not recommend it.

I have bought couches from this store a few times. The latest couch I purchased was over $4,000. I bought four of the stain removers that they give with each couch. Also, purchased the protection plan. I reached out in June because I noticed a stain on my couch. of course my husband and one year old son know nothing of the stain. I reached out to company service. They asked for my information, asked about questions surrounding the claim, and ask for pictures. Within the 30 days of the accident. Ashley tells me to call the product protection plan company. The protection plan company tells me this isn't covered under the plan you need to call Ashley. I called Ashley back and was told you can clearly see where you tried to clean and the product didn't work. You need to call the product plan company. I've been call the protection plan company back explain everything to them and then proceed to file a claim. Sent pictures again and everything. They deny my claim because part of my couch was in the garage and because I don't know what made the stain. I emailed them back to let them know, the piece of the couch in the garage is fine and it is not the part of the couch I'm talking about. Sent more pictures. Oh I forgot to tell mention that it took 2 months for me to hear about the claim and I'm the one that had to reach out. At this point I am so sick of them that I go flip the couch cushion over because I'm sick of looking at the stain to only find mold. I reach out to let them know about the mold and my claim is denied because of the mold. I'm upset because my claim is denied because of a issue that wasn't present when I first submitted the claim in June. So I wrote back an email expressing my frustrations and that's going on 3 weeks ago. At this point, I want y'all to take this couch back! At least admit that you are at fault for the delay communication. Because had the issue been handled in June, we wouldn't have this problem in September. I just want y'all to do better and think about your customers!!

Bought a desk in-person and asked for it to be delivered. A completely different desk (that was much smaller/cheaper) was delivered instead. Refused to rectify the situation, feels like we have been scammed. We also bought other furniture from here, and nearly all the items have been extremely low quality and not-properly assembled when delivered(missing screws, uneven, etc). Very dissatisfied to say the least.

Elliot was fantastic to work with! He’s easy going and never pushy, which made the whole process stress free. He’s very knowledgeable and always responsive, answering every question quickly. I truly felt like he was looking out for me and working to get me the best deal possible. Overall, it was a great experience, I highly recommend Elliot if you want someone professional, helpful, and trustworthy!

Veterans, if you’re moving, these guys won’t deliver to your new address and let you use your tax exemption unless that new address is on your disabled veterans tax exemption card, which we know is impossible, as you are moving. They won’t even accept paperwork showing your home purchase to confirm the delivery address. They are not worth shopping with. Poor communication and definitely not honoring an earned income exemption. Very disappointed!!

Purchasing was excellent. Salesman was great. Delivery sucked. One bar stools leg was shorted then the rest so it wobbled. The delivery men were poor. They seemed upset to move my old table 10’ to the next room. When assembling the new table they dropped the leg on my hardwood floor twice causing a scratch that I had to repair. One man cut the straps under the table with a knife leaving two 6” straps hanging down under the table. The other man pull the two other straps out (they were stapled in), leaving four sharp metal half staples sticking down which I found by reaching under and cutting my hand. I had to get a plyer and pull six dangerous staples out. One was broken to short and had to be filed off. Poorest service I have ever had. Never again!

Since my house was destroyed in a wildfire in March I needed to purchase everything for a home. I dropped in and met Jennifer Banks who helped me patiently find multiple rooms of furniture all while helping keep my grandchild preoccupied so we could shop. I decided to come back the next day to get another item. She helped me change the ticket and make sure everything will still be delivered on time for my move in date. Excellent customer service and a very kind salesperson.

Family and I went in to find a recliner for my mom. I had previously worked with Todd when I moved here a few months back and he got me sorted out the first time so we went in to work with him again. He is professional and down to earth. After speaking with him and getting his opinions on a good fit, we purchased a recliner and are having it delivered in a few days. Well, I hold nothing against my sales lady. She was professional and friendly and discussed financial options. I was a little discouraged by their lease-to-own option and learned I would be paying more in interest than what I would pay for it in cash. I recall asking her at the counter before I left what it cost if we decided to pay it in cash. I think she said that it's a done deal though I had not given Ashley a down payment. I planned on giving the $149.00 on Saturday, but thinking about it driving home, I decided not to show up on Saturday. I believe, as my daughter stated to me, there are better pricing and mattress options elsewhere. Again, I have nothing against the sales lady, but this is more against Ashley and the lease to own the company they use called Progressive. My intuition was telling me they were loan sharks, and I'm sure if I went on Reddit, I'd see complaints about this company. I just feel companies like these take advantage of consumers whose FICO scores aren't the best. Secondly, I didn't like that this company was going to draft out of my bank account. We are in times where job losses are happening nationally, so that's another issue I had to consider when buying and financing. We love the mattress but sorry not doing lease to own. We will be going elsewhere that's friendly with our wallets.

If I could leave zero stars I would. This was the worst experience in purchasing furniture I have ever had. The wrong recliners were delivered to my parents who are 90 years old. They were not able to use them. I was not even able to make the foot rest go back down. When I requested the company pickup the recliners, they charged me $200!! It was their mistake in the first place by sending the wrong recliners! Prepare to spend 20-30 minutes on hold and then not end up getting a satisfactory answer. They do not care about customer service.

I was looking for a specific type of chair and went into Ashley furniture in Norman and Jennifer Banks asked if she could help me. She was extremely polite and knew exactly where to go to show me what I wanted to see. She did not high-pressure me, but she was very, very helpful. She did a great job. The store has a very large selection of furniture and a variety of price ranges. I would recommend Ashley furniture and go see Jennifer Banks.

Found & purchased a sofa & love seat. Got them home and they barely fit into the space and look cramped. Wanted to take them back but we’re going to be charged 560.00 “re-stocking fee”. I can see 10% fee up to, say $200.00, but over that much is just too much. Now I’m forced to live with furniture I don’t really like. On top of that, one of the recliners doesn’t work and Mathis is refusing to honor their warranty!

Y'all! Ashley's in Norman has some super nice things right now! I fell in love with this MCM bed... isn't it gorgeous? Ginger helped me and my sister this weekend. She was so helpful and kind. There were a few changes to the order and Ginger went out of her way making sure we got what we loved with the best possible price. I still have a couple things on my wish list.

We picked out a sofa-recliner and the recliner to go with it. We were going to pay cash. We were told to deliver the furniture would cost $300. To cut that price in half We needed to finance the furniture. Later they offered a cash price with an un-itemized invoice. This really soured the process. It felt like we were negotiating to buy a new car.

We were greeted upon entering by Ginger who was most helpful, upbeat and friendly. She showed us exactly what we wanted. Walking is a problem so I appreciate saved steps.

I contacted my sales person who told me to send pictures which I did. And my response was nothing! No response at all! So there is NO SERVICE AFTER SALES AND ASHLEY FURNITURE IS EXTREMELY POORLY MADE! So kind, helpful, & caring. Ginger is amazing & I hope God blesses her abundantly. She made me feel important & special & it was genuine! Found what I wanted, got my discount, & they'll deliver next week. Awesome! Thank you so much Ginger!

When we arrived at the store I was nervous. Buying furniture is not cheap and I wanted to make sure I would make the right choice. Ginger is great at making a nervous shopper feel at ease. I told her my price range and she showed me my options very quickly. I never felt pressured and was shocked to find the perfect sofa so quickly. We even found a ‘man chair’ recliner by surprise. She was easy to talk to and made the experience a positive one. She texted me when our furniture was in stock and scheduled the delivery through text. I look forward to returning to Ashley Furniture when we need furniture again.

I was looking to replace my old Tempur-Pedic mattress and base I previously purchased at Ashley's 7 years ago. When my husband and I walked in the store, we were greeted by Ginger. She and seemed "in sync" as I am a former salesperson (real estate) from many years back. She excitedly introduced us to the brand new, newly un-boxed Active Breeze mattress and base. Truly state of the art! I need to sleep in a very cool environment; and was hoping to find a bed so I wouldn't need 3 fans at night! I was intrigued with the active breeze; but the price was more than I was budgeting. Ginger then expertly and happily showed me the different Tempur-Pedic mattresses, the Purple mattresses and the other mattresses. I had decided on a termpur-pedic, and applied for the credit. When figuring everything together, in many different configurations, it turned out not to be as far out of reach for the new, state of the art bed we saw in the beginning! Ginger is the perfect person for sales. She 100% loves her job,.and who she helps with her job. That resonates and absolute cannot be "faked"! She knows the details of the products, and I actually learned something new about my 7 yr old mattress/base, too! All I can say is: the world needs more Gingers! (and I don't mean hair-color, 😂! )

Poor Professionalism. My husband and I stopped by the Norman Ashley's location to check out a few items that we're interested in. We did the whole dodge the employee sitting at the entrance... but he followed. Annoying but not surprising. Kept giving us helpful info about the products. So, I gave in and asked about some of their living room items. He showed me where they were located at and made some comment about purchase. I was very upfront and stated that we are not buying today and that there is a good possibility that we will purchase online because we live an hour away from this location. Salesperson got noticeably upset. Understandable, but I'm not trying to waste anyone's time, and I felt being upfront with that info would be the nicest option. This is typically when they try to sell you on buying in-house. We have great discounts, we can add that personal touch, make sure everything goes smoothly, etc. His reaction was to 1- get mad. 2-critizise our choice and 3-imply that we were wasting his time...even though he chased us down. Again, I understand the frustration but there are better, more professional ways, of gaining customers. And what's sad is I said we would "likely shop online" it wasn't a firm decision as we've bought from this location in the past. But this interaction left a bad taste in my mouth.

For starters, my wife had searched online and knew which sectional that she wanted to buy. We were not there to browse at all. Reggie Thompson greeted us at the door. He was very friendly and told us upfront that he was new to the store so he may not know where some items were located. We told him the exact couch and a coworker pointed us in the direction. We found the couch with little issues. The conversation with Reggie was by far the most pleasant part of our experience. Enter the store manger (I believe his name was Bray). This person was very condescending and if you have ever had an image in your mind on how a “snake” salesman would treat you, then he is your guy. He admitted that the online price my wife was referring to was in fact, “A price that would not be honored. That is just a ploy to get you into the store in front of a salesman.” He also admitted that the sectional that we were purchasing had a promotion that included free furniture. But he would have to increase the price of the sectional if we wanted take advantage of it.?.? I asked if that made any sense whatsoever and he replied with not really. An item for sale has one price, not different ones. I finally asked him how much is the couch that we were wanting to buy. I just wanted a straight forward answer and not any stupid salesman games. I wasn’t buying a used car off of a buy here pay here lot, but I imagine this is how it would feel. It is unfortunate that the employees of the Ashley store in Norman, OK have to work with a manager that could drive customers away, instead of making them feel welcome and appreciated.

We went in here to just look for furniture. Since we are building a house we are not in a hurry. The lady who helped us was really nice but I could feel like she was being pressured to get the sale. I kept saying I just wanted a list of the items I liked to think about and she kept trying to put it on a ticket. Even the manager was checking in on us. I didn't really feel comfortable. The selection was nice just not many black leather couch options.

They sell bottom barrel quality for luxury prices, lied about whether it's real wood, charged me for extras I never ordered and wouldn't allow it's return despite being new in the box.

I came to Ashley's to get furniture to start my first home. Make sure to ask for Ginger! She was absolutely amazing. She was so kind and helpful. I had the worst experience ever with your online shopping! First it wasn’t clear that the item will be delivered from another store which is Mathis brothers and then they sent me an email confirmation that the item will be delivered on the 6th and I had to cancel my trip to receive the item because someone has to be at home to receive and then the item wasn’t delivered that day and after calling them they gave me another date and yet it was delivered later that the time they said they said it will be delivered and the item came opened( and it was said it the notes they it should not) and it became dirty stained and opened! And until now I have calling and chasing after my item! Very poor communication and following up it’s like they don’t care!!!!

While the people are friendly and great and I have bought several pieces of furniture here, I think the quality of the furniture has gone so down hill it should be in a walmart and priced as such. The bedroom suite I bought is like cardboard and I doubt lasts more than 10 years as long as it is never moved and it cost as much as an heirloom set of furniture. I probably will never shop here again.

Very disappointed. We bought a $900 piece of furniture. Was never told we had to assemble it. Called and complained, was told they could assemble it and deliver it for $149. We were not happy with that but agreed. We went to distribution center with the furniture piece. They said it would be $249 to assemble. . Then the mgr came out and said that they can not do the assembly. Apparently not all departments on same page. Very frustraring especially with me making two trips to the distribution center. We said forget the rat race and left it there and got our money back.

This was the first time I have been in the story. It is beautiful, the sales people were very nice and helpful. I had received e mails with living room couches for sale. I paid a little more than I wanted to but my space is very limited. I appreciate the delivery also. We are seniors and this will help us tremendously. I appreciate your help and service.

Attempted to purchase a end table and wanted to price match with the amount found online. Their store policy is if you want to price match then you need to purchase their protection plan, ultimately pushing your price back to the in-store price. If you don’t want to offer price matching just say that!

We have bought from Ashley’s before from the city location but I’m so happy we decided to come here it’s a much shorter drive. Godson was our helper and what an awesome guy he was along with others along the store we came across the ladies at the desk and other employees around the store. We gave him an idea what we wanted and he showed us all the options based on our budget we gave him. He was great! Very clean store and bathroom!!

Bought a brand new sectional couch and 2 end tables the first table glass was broke day of delivery no worries things happen delivery guys were very nice. They got me a new table that showed up all screws stripped out loose as all get out. Was willing to deal with this but was shorted a pillow have reached out to paulo jimenez multiple times at first he was responding. I was told he would take care of it and now has completly went silent no response at all. Funny he was so helpful when he wanted the sell but now that he has gotten his commission im guessing he is not worried about it anymore. Just want the pillow i paid for. Thanks a very concerned customer. Update.... Now christy from customer relations respoded on here but will not respond to my emails that she asked for to help me it has been a week since and no response out of her either is there someone there that can actually do their job and help get this resolved please and thanks.

I appreciated that after his initial spiel the salesman stayed nearby to answer questions and offer information, but didn't hover over us or pressure us. We weren't planning on buying today, but the pleasant experience, obvious expertise of our salesman, and the quality of the product convinced us otherwise.

This was a very very stressful decision for me and Bray my sales associate was so so caring to all my needs. And didn't rush me at all and I would recommend anyone going here to ask for Bray I promise you will be very happy you did. And the entire staff was very friendly. Came into the Ashley Home store looking for a couch and loveseat for our new home. Our sales associate Godson was very helpful and knowledgeable, without being pushy. Really enjoyed our shopping experience.

Good prices but I would advise not to buy any protection plans! I spent hundreds of dollars on a “protection plan” 2 years ago. Now my sofa broke but the protection will not cover it because they claim it was a mechanical defect. They also will not let me use the money for the protection plan I paid for in 2017 on new merchandise even though that is what they claim to do.

Ginger was really great! She showed me several items, answered my questions and was very patient while I made up my mind. Will definitely purchase here again.

The distance from the door and the bs you must go through at the register was inconvenient. Also not giving the complete price of a purchase- even when you call in before you go- is irritating. ( I am partially disabled and have trouble standing for long periods of time. The people are extremely polite and seemed to be knowledgeable. I needed 1 product, and has to purchase 4 to get the one. Believed workers that the product was only available as a set.

Kimberly is a gem! I went in with my mom (a repeat customer of Kimberly's) and ended up finding the perfect couch for my house as well... all in less than 30 min! Transaction was quick and painless (I've been dragging my feet about having to go couch shopping because of how tiring it is). Everyone that we dealt with was wonderful from the time we walked in. I ended up being able to put the couch on hold until my husband could get available to give the final "ok". I text Kimberly and she got me all set up and all I had to do was call the store line and pay over the phone. BEST EXPERIENCE BUYING FURNITURE EVER.

Horrible customer service. I ordered a dresser for my daughter a week ago, and they put a hold on my account. I took off work for the delivery day, and all of a sudden they’re saying the payment won’t go through. I gave them a debit card, and there are plenty of funds in the account. There’s no reason why this payment shouldn’t go through. Furthermore, my bank is not blocking it. Something is wrong on their end, and they’re taking it out on the customer. I also had to make five different phone calls because they kept hanging up on me. Worst customer service ever! I would highly not recommend dealing with these people.

They’ll charge you more for the in store price, but they will unhappily match the online price. Other than that, their customer service and quality has gone up over the last couple years. I will definitely be shopping here again.

I bought 3 pieces of furniture summer of 2021 — a queen sized bed, desk, and dresser. All 3 of the pieces of furniture have since broken. The desk and dresser drawers arrived broken. After dealing with broken furniture for a year I decided to see if there was anything Ashley could do to help. All they said was they could ship me new drawers and I had to fix them myself. I agreed as I didn’t want to buy new furniture instead. The desk drawer didn’t help the problem, as the desk itself was broken instead, apparently. The dresser drawer helped for about 2 months before it broke again. A few months ago, my bed slats and frame broke. I will never be shopping from this company again. Furniture that doesn’t last for longer than 6 months and cheap quality for the amount I paid. Absolutely furious and will never give this company a dollar again.
