I’ve been in the store several times and spoke with Kimberly about which furniture would best suit my needs (concerning space and fabric) she found me some great pieces of furniture. Today when I went in with my husband to purchase she was helping someone, so her manager (Haven) stepped in to help use find a similar couch that had washable fabric. It wasn’t in stock so they helped us order and set up delivery. I’m excited to receive this sturdy and beautiful piece of furniture. Everything he is so friendly and there is no pressure to purchase. I’m thankful to have this store.

Found & purchased a sofa & love seat. Got them home and they barely fit into the space and look cramped. Wanted to take them back but we’re going to be charged 560.00 “re-stocking fee”. I can see 10% fee up to, say $200.00, but over that much is just too much. Now I’m forced to live with furniture I don’t really like. On top of that, one of the recliners doesn’t work and Mathis is refusing to honor their warranty!

Y'all! Ashley's in Norman has some super nice things right now! I fell in love with this MCM bed... isn't it gorgeous? Ginger helped me and my sister this weekend. She was so helpful and kind. There were a few changes to the order and Ginger went out of her way making sure we got what we loved with the best possible price. I still have a couple things on my wish list.

We picked out a sofa-recliner and the recliner to go with it. We were going to pay cash. We were told to deliver the furniture would cost $300. To cut that price in half We needed to finance the furniture. Later they offered a cash price with an un-itemized invoice. This really soured the process. It felt like we were negotiating to buy a new car.
We were greeted upon entering by Ginger who was most helpful, upbeat and friendly. She showed us exactly what we wanted. Walking is a problem so I appreciate saved steps.

When we arrived at the store I was nervous. Buying furniture is not cheap and I wanted to make sure I would make the right choice. Ginger is great at making a nervous shopper feel at ease. I told her my price range and she showed me my options very quickly. I never felt pressured and was shocked to find the perfect sofa so quickly. We even found a ‘man chair’ recliner by surprise. She was easy to talk to and made the experience a positive one. She texted me when our furniture was in stock and scheduled the delivery through text. I look forward to returning to Ashley Furniture when we need furniture again.

I was looking to replace my old Tempur-Pedic mattress and base I previously purchased at Ashley's 7 years ago. When my husband and I walked in the store, we were greeted by Ginger. She and seemed "in sync" as I am a former salesperson (real estate) from many years back. She excitedly introduced us to the brand new, newly un-boxed Active Breeze mattress and base. Truly state of the art! I need to sleep in a very cool environment; and was hoping to find a bed so I wouldn't need 3 fans at night! I was intrigued with the active breeze; but the price was more than I was budgeting. Ginger then expertly and happily showed me the different Tempur-Pedic mattresses, the Purple mattresses and the other mattresses. I had decided on a termpur-pedic, and applied for the credit. When figuring everything together, in many different configurations, it turned out not to be as far out of reach for the new, state of the art bed we saw in the beginning! Ginger is the perfect person for sales. She 100% loves her job,.and who she helps with her job. That resonates and absolute cannot be "faked"! She knows the details of the products, and I actually learned something new about my 7 yr old mattress/base, too! All I can say is: the world needs more Gingers! (and I don't mean hair-color, 😂! )
Poor Professionalism. My husband and I stopped by the Norman Ashley's location to check out a few items that we're interested in. We did the whole dodge the employee sitting at the entrance... but he followed. Annoying but not surprising. Kept giving us helpful info about the products. So, I gave in and asked about some of their living room items. He showed me where they were located at and made some comment about purchase. I was very upfront and stated that we are not buying today and that there is a good possibility that we will purchase online because we live an hour away from this location. Salesperson got noticeably upset. Understandable, but I'm not trying to waste anyone's time, and I felt being upfront with that info would be the nicest option. This is typically when they try to sell you on buying in-house. We have great discounts, we can add that personal touch, make sure everything goes smoothly, etc. His reaction was to 1- get mad. 2-critizise our choice and 3-imply that we were wasting his time...even though he chased us down. Again, I understand the frustration but there are better, more professional ways, of gaining customers. And what's sad is I said we would "likely shop online" it wasn't a firm decision as we've bought from this location in the past. But this interaction left a bad taste in my mouth.

For starters, my wife had searched online and knew which sectional that she wanted to buy. We were not there to browse at all. Reggie Thompson greeted us at the door. He was very friendly and told us upfront that he was new to the store so he may not know where some items were located. We told him the exact couch and a coworker pointed us in the direction. We found the couch with little issues. The conversation with Reggie was by far the most pleasant part of our experience. Enter the store manger (I believe his name was Bray). This person was very condescending and if you have ever had an image in your mind on how a “snake” salesman would treat you, then he is your guy. He admitted that the online price my wife was referring to was in fact, “A price that would not be honored. That is just a ploy to get you into the store in front of a salesman.” He also admitted that the sectional that we were purchasing had a promotion that included free furniture. But he would have to increase the price of the sectional if we wanted take advantage of it.?.? I asked if that made any sense whatsoever and he replied with not really. An item for sale has one price, not different ones. I finally asked him how much is the couch that we were wanting to buy. I just wanted a straight forward answer and not any stupid salesman games. I wasn’t buying a used car off of a buy here pay here lot, but I imagine this is how it would feel. It is unfortunate that the employees of the Ashley store in Norman, OK have to work with a manager that could drive customers away, instead of making them feel welcome and appreciated.

We went in here to just look for furniture. Since we are building a house we are not in a hurry. The lady who helped us was really nice but I could feel like she was being pressured to get the sale. I kept saying I just wanted a list of the items I liked to think about and she kept trying to put it on a ticket. Even the manager was checking in on us. I didn't really feel comfortable. The selection was nice just not many black leather couch options.

They sell bottom barrel quality for luxury prices, lied about whether it's real wood, charged me for extras I never ordered and wouldn't allow it's return despite being new in the box.
I came to Ashley's to get furniture to start my first home. Make sure to ask for Ginger! She was absolutely amazing. She was so kind and helpful. I will be going back to Ashley's for anything I need and will be making sure to use Ginger. Definitely get the furniture protection. I've already had to use it and they replaced it quickly and easily. Worth it for sure!

I had the worst experience ever with your online shopping! First it wasn’t clear that the item will be delivered from another store which is Mathis brothers and then they sent me an email confirmation that the item will be delivered on the 6th and I had to cancel my trip to receive the item because someone has to be at home to receive and then the item wasn’t delivered that day and after calling them they gave me another date and yet it was delivered later that the time they said they said it will be delivered and the item came opened( and it was said it the notes they it should not) and it became dirty stained and opened! And until now I have calling and chasing after my item! Very poor communication and following up it’s like they don’t care!!!!

While the people are friendly and great and I have bought several pieces of furniture here, I think the quality of the furniture has gone so down hill it should be in a walmart and priced as such. The bedroom suite I bought is like cardboard and I doubt lasts more than 10 years as long as it is never moved and it cost as much as an heirloom set of furniture. I probably will never shop here again.

Very disappointed. We bought a $900 piece of furniture. Was never told we had to assemble it. Called and complained, was told they could assemble it and deliver it for $149. We were not happy with that but agreed. We went to distribution center with the furniture piece. They said it would be $249 to assemble. . Then the mgr came out and said that they can not do the assembly. Apparently not all departments on same page. Very frustraring especially with me making two trips to the distribution center. We said forget the rat race and left it there and got our money back.

you buy thousands of dollars of furniture and less than eight months your mattress goes bad I get a replacement I have to pay for delivery that's bowl six months after the replacement mattress I have to get another mattress I have to put now pay 300 more dollars for delivery that's bowl do not shop here. The customer service is horrible they do not care one thing about you they want the money and they're done with you. The delivery men are wonderful. Customer service is horrible. I would rather go by thrift store furniture than ever go back to Ashley's again.

they refused to let me return a mattress (unused) for exchange within 7 days as thier return policy states. i was told that the mattress did not qualify for return because it was not $1000.00 ($995.00) i was willing to pay for pickup and delivery of the other mattress, but they still refused. i will never use ashleys or mathis brothers again and i will be telling everybody i know about my experience with these companies.

This was the first time I have been in the story. It is beautiful, the sales people were very nice and helpful. I had received e mails with living room couches for sale. I paid a little more than I wanted to but my space is very limited. I appreciate the delivery also. We are seniors and this will help us tremendously. I appreciate your help and service.

Attempted to purchase a end table and wanted to price match with the amount found online. Their store policy is if you want to price match then you need to purchase their protection plan, ultimately pushing your price back to the in-store price. If you don’t want to offer price matching just say that!

We have bought from Ashley’s before from the city location but I’m so happy we decided to come here it’s a much shorter drive. Godson was our helper and what an awesome guy he was along with others along the store we came across the ladies at the desk and other employees around the store. We gave him an idea what we wanted and he showed us all the options based on our budget we gave him. He was great! Very clean store and bathroom!!

If I could give them a negative review, I would. All you have to do is look at their score and see that they are not good! They pretended like they were going to help me but how called me a liar. They tried to say that the damage was by my pets but my pets were not even here when the damage happened. There's NO way they caused it. They just want to get out of taking care of what they should take care of. Since I purchased the additional insurance and I'm not able to use it because they are liars, I have asked for a complete refund of the insurance money. Let's see if they do the right thing with that. My guess is they won't. They want me to pay out of my pocket to repair the damage that was accidental that they're trying to say my pets did. They are trying to say it was on purpose. Seriously? Who would purposely do this? It's just an excuse to get out of paying to repair the damage that should be covered by insurance. What gets me is that they weren't even here when the damage happened. How dare they try to say what did or didn't cause it! I strongly urge you not to use this company because they will not do the right thing. They will do and say whatever they can to get out of doing the right thing. Somebody got a commission on selling insurance that they knew would not cover anything. Oh wait, if one of my dogs peeing on the couch they would repair or replace it. They have screwed me over more than once and I am done with them. There are Facebook pages that have thousands of people that have had bad experiences with Ashley furniture companies. I suggest you read them BEFORE you do business with a company that does NOT tell the truth. A company that does not take responsibility. Don't risk it! I wish I would have read the thousands of negative reviews FIRST! And I suggest everyone that is had a negative experience, and I'm sure there are many, posted here because this needs to get out. They actually need to be sued!!!!!Again, there is NO WAY the dogs caused the damage. I was told by employee Tammy G. that ALL damage was covered. EVERYTHING! Not covering it is just their sorry excuse for getting out and doing what they're supposed to do. It's so obvious. Just read the comments on the Facebook pages. This is not the first time they've done this and it won't be the last. They take your money for the insurance coverage and then they tell you nothing is covered if you file a claim even though they told you everything is covered. And then they try to tell you what caused the damage even though they weren't there. They could say whatever they want to get out of it. They are awful and I will NEVER do business with a corrupt company like this again! There are too many others that are true to their word and treat customers correctly! They do NOTHING but sit back and laugh. You have been warned! BEWARE! I wish I would have known how absolutely awful these people are! Nothing but trouble from day 1!

We recently purchased a new home that is bigger than the last and we needed some additional furniture. I get very stressed and struggle making decisions with furniture. My husband and I had been to a few other places in the last couple of weeks and didn't find what we were looking for. Ginger Short was amazing at the Ashley in Norman! The sells rep sold a rewards plan without even telling that it cost $139 a month and charged me for the wrong size mattress. Obviously they don't listen to the customers or explain prices! Bought a brand new sectional couch and 2 end tables the first table glass was broke day of delivery no worries things happen delivery guys were very nice. They got me a new table that showed up all screws stripped out loose as all get out. Was willing to deal with this but was shorted a pillow have reached out to paulo jimenez multiple times at first he was responding. I was told he would take care of it and now has completly went silent no response at all. Funny he was so helpful when he wanted the sell but now that he has gotten his commission im guessing he is not worried about it anymore. Just want the pillow i paid for. Thanks a very concerned customer. Update.... Now christy from customer relations respoded on here but will not respond to my emails that she asked for to help me it has been a week since and no response out of her either is there someone there that can actually do their job and help get this resolved please and thanks.

Very aggressive sales people. Would not take a kind hint of "We are just browsing". Two different employees approached us and would not leave us alone. The first was very pushy and seemed put off when we would not volunteer information about our day, plans or our names. Shoppers beware if you don't like shopper stalkers. One would think if you tell the salesperson you are "good and don't need assistance and you will ask them when you do", then a manager should not have to be tracked down to asked to be left alone.
I appreciated that after his initial spiel the salesman stayed nearby to answer questions and offer information, but didn't hover over us or pressure us. We weren't planning on buying today, but the pleasant experience, obvious expertise of our salesman, and the quality of the product convinced us otherwise.
This was a very very stressful decision for me and Bray my sales associate was so so caring to all my needs. And didn't rush me at all and I would recommend anyone going here to ask for Bray I promise you will be very happy you did. And the entire staff was very friendly. Thank you Bray for all your help and I will be back.

Came into the Ashley Home store looking for a couch and loveseat for our new home. Our sales associate Godson was very helpful and knowledgeable, without being pushy. Really enjoyed our shopping experience.
Good prices but I would advise not to buy any protection plans! I spent hundreds of dollars on a “protection plan” 2 years ago. Now my sofa broke but the protection will not cover it because they claim it was a mechanical defect. They also will not let me use the money for the protection plan I paid for in 2017 on new merchandise even though that is what they claim to do.

The distance from the door and the bs you must go through at the register was inconvenient. Also not giving the complete price of a purchase- even when you call in before you go- is irritating. ( I am partially disabled and have trouble standing for long periods of time. The people are extremely polite and seemed to be knowledgeable. I needed 1 product, and has to purchase 4 to get the one. Believed workers that the product was only available as a set.

Kimberly is a gem! I went in with my mom (a repeat customer of Kimberly's) and ended up finding the perfect couch for my house as well... all in less than 30 min! Transaction was quick and painless (I've been dragging my feet about having to go couch shopping because of how tiring it is). Everyone that we dealt with was wonderful from the time we walked in. I ended up being able to put the couch on hold until my husband could get available to give the final "ok". I text Kimberly and she got me all set up and all I had to do was call the store line and pay over the phone. BEST EXPERIENCE BUYING FURNITURE EVER.

Horrible customer service. I ordered a dresser for my daughter a week ago, and they put a hold on my account. I took off work for the delivery day, and all of a sudden they’re saying the payment won’t go through. I gave them a debit card, and there are plenty of funds in the account. There’s no reason why this payment shouldn’t go through. Furthermore, my bank is not blocking it. Something is wrong on their end, and they’re taking it out on the customer. I also had to make five different phone calls because they kept hanging up on me. Worst customer service ever! I would highly not recommend dealing with these people.

I bought 3 pieces of furniture summer of 2021 — a queen sized bed, desk, and dresser. All 3 of the pieces of furniture have since broken. The desk and dresser drawers arrived broken. After dealing with broken furniture for a year I decided to see if there was anything Ashley could do to help. All they said was they could ship me new drawers and I had to fix them myself. I agreed as I didn’t want to buy new furniture instead. The desk drawer didn’t help the problem, as the desk itself was broken instead, apparently. The dresser drawer helped for about 2 months before it broke again. A few months ago, my bed slats and frame broke. I will never be shopping from this company again. Furniture that doesn’t last for longer than 6 months and cheap quality for the amount I paid. Absolutely furious and will never give this company a dollar again.

My wife and I recently made our first visit to the Ashley Home Store in Norman, Oklahoma. We had previously shopped other furniture stores in Oklahoma City and were trying to mentally prepare ourselves for the attack of “shopper stalkers” as we walked through the door. We were pleasantly surprised by the relaxed atmosphere and our introduction to Ginger Short. Ginger was a real pleasure to work with and although we did not settle on a purchase during our initial visit, she continued to work with us over the next few days and was able to help us find exactly what we wanted.

This store misrepresented the price of furniture to me. BUYER BEWARE! Never sign anything that doesn't show the final full price.
The sales person was knowledgeable of the inventory and able to assist me finding the furniture I was looking for. I was able to get my shopping done in a short amount of time.

If I could give zero stars, I would. They lie about every single step of the process, including delivery and haul-off fees. They charge extra fees that they won't even honor, lie about necessary charges, sales, etc. Same your time, money, and sanity and go with someone else.

I didn't have a move in date for my new home, Bryce said no problem, gave me his cell number and as soon as I had a move in date, said no problem to deliver when I need. Pierre at Ashley Home Store in Norman was amazing. He was the perfect sales person. He was never pushy and he didn't follow me around, however, he always seemed nearby when I had questions. When I chose my furniture, he went out of his way to get me the very best deal available and helped me save several hundred dollars. After the order when I had a delivery problem, I texted him and he got on the phone with the delivery service and then went to management to get it resoved. The drivers had just skipped me after telling me they were on their way. He got my furniture delivered that evening. When it happen to me before with another company, they rescheduled me for several days later. I cannot recommend Pierre enough. Ask for him when you shop there.

Update November '24 -- Still had a great experience with Bray, but the couch itself has become disappointing in appearance and quality. 1) the upholstery is starting to sag and become worn, regardless of how often I turn things over/around, and the proprietary stain remover soap that Ashley sold us never removed any stains. I have taken to covering the couch with blankets because I just don't like the way the fabric looks after two years. 2) one of the sectionals is literally coming apart, and the warranty we've paid for this (expensive to us) couch has been absolutely useless for getting anything fixed. Would I buy this couch again? No. If it's going to look so worn, the cushions are going to lose their form, and the warranty is going to be useless after two years of use by a typical family-of-four-and-no-pets it's pretty pointless to spend all this money when I could've just ordered a new couch from Amazon four times over. Still had ourselves our great movie nights! But I'm disappointed by the quality. -- Original Review: I worked with Bray this September to purchase the Carnaby sectional sofa from Ashley, and I cannot say enough good things about the experience. First, Bray was very accommodating with answering my truly random questions about size and configuration of available models of sectionals both in person, by phone, and email. Second, he was very patient as my husband changed his mind about configurations part way through our plans to purchase--which as a former salesperson would've drove me nuts--but he rolled with the change and got us the info we needed to make a great choice for our budget, family and home. Lastly, the delivery went without any issues and we were able to get our new sectional delivered within a week of purchase. I'm not joking when I say that the delivery guys were in and out within 5 minutes--it was just that quick to put together. My kids are thrilled and we are very much looking forward to movie night!

I went to the store and saw what I wanted. I came home and called the salesperson and told him I was ready to make a purchase. He provided me with a ticket order number and phone number to their pay bill hotline. I called and spoke to a nice female. During the process of payment, she stated that she accidentally deleted one of the order number and needed to call my salesperson and will call me back. I waited for hours and no phone call from her. I texted the salesperson and he replied that he will call her in a minute. His so-called "in a minute" turned into 24 hours passed and I still did not get a call from him nor the bill pay staff. The irony here was that I did get a text from Ashley's automated line requesting me to do a review on how they did with the purchase. Humm!! What purchase?? Lol Sure enough, I went to make a review based on what had happened. Within an hour, I got an email from googlembf@mathisbrother.com asking if I could provide evidence. I did forward the email of my ticket order number. Instead of getting a phone call from Ashley's staff, I received another email asking me to call them so they can help get the order.Seriously? Who's in their right mind want to go over the same ordeal again? Out of courtesy, I replied and said no thank you and that I've found myself a better dining table from another place that knows how to run their business professionally. Wish I had checked Yelp reviews first before I even stepped into their store.
This place is horrible when it comes to customer service. After I have agreed to buy a dining set, the salesman told me I could call the pay bill phone department to get it set up since he had created a ticket order in the system already. I called and spoke to this nice staff. While waiting for her to get my payment information, she accidentally deleted the ticket order and said she would need to call the salesman and get back to me. I waited for couple hours and no phone call. When I texted the salesman to get an update, he said he will get a hold of her. It is now a day after and I still get no phone call from the pay bill staff nor the salesman. So much for professionalism!!

I really don’t like going to furniture stores because of the sales agents harassing you…but I went to Ashley furniture in Norman && was pleasantly surprised by the chill atmosphere there. This lady name Jennifer helped me with the credit application process and then helped me pick out furniture in my price range. It was a pleasant experience and one I wasn’t expecting.

I would Advise anybody who buys furniture from Ashleyhomestore in Norman not to buy the protection plan because they will not protect it even after taking every step that Ashley home furniture store sales people and managers tell you to take they will not fix your furniture for you,but they will gladly sell you thousands of dollars of furniture! I called to have my couch cleaned because I had a stain and was told to use their cleaner they sell in the store when I cleaned the couch it made the spot darker. I then called to see if they could come out and clean that spots and some others and they said it couldn’t be covered and to call Stanley steamer.

Bought a $2000 sofa here roughly one year ago. Associate was as kind, yet overbearing, as anyone paid on commission would be expected to be. I found out last week that she signed me up for an annual reward program at $99/year, done neither in writing nor with my consent. They didn't discuss this with me in any capacity whatsoever, and I did not even get the benefit of this "service" with my purchase, as indicated by my receipt. Called the store and was given only the option to cancel the service. Submitted a complaint to the BBB and corporate customer service immediately refunded this fraudulent charge prior to my bank getting involved. Absolutely abhorrent business practices. I will never do business with this franchise again.
We were a little disappointed that we were not able to return our mattress the next day we realized that it was too small. It was still in its original package and not touched. I understand the reasoning but our sale associate Ginger should have told us that there is a no return policy on mattresses.
We had a great experience. We encountered the sales person (Pierre) that helped us choose with the shopping of our living room. Again he helped us with buying a loveseat this time around and just had a pleasent buying experience with him and giving us different options and opinions to choose.

We went to the Ashley store in Norman to purchase a sofa and loveseat. Caleb met us at the door and was only there when we needed him to write up the purchase. Loved that he didn’t push on anything. We were in and out in under an hour. Delivery was a little worse. Had a scheduled time and they showed up almost an hour early. Which is hard if you are a working person. We had previously purchased in February from the Mathis Bros store and it was a terrible experience and ended up getting our money back. I am glad they were able to redeem themselves somewhat.

Their communication is terrible. We had been waiting more than 2 months for our couch when we were told it would be a couple weeks. It was “cancelled” after we had even received 2 pieces of our 4 piece couch. The store manager, Brett, has terrible customer service and does not treat his customers or even employees with respect. I would recommend a different furniture store.

Gabe was our salesperson, he was great but that’s where it ends for our experience. Delivery came as expected, but when delivery got to our home they didn’t have the hardware for our bed. We asked when it would be delivered they advised us the following Saturday we called to set up another delivery appt and we were then told it now our bunk beds wouldn’t be delivered till May. We advised that would not suffice as These were for our daughters and had already sold their beds. We asked for a refund but that has been a pain and apparently a lot of miscommunication within the company itself. No one has contacted us to apologize or attempt to make it right. No one seemed to care that they messed up or that they have a unhappy customer Very disappointing especially since we had planned to purchase more furniture and mattresses. Would not recommend the Norman location to friends or family. Maybe if a manager or anyone attempted to make it right or even just a apology we would continue to give them our business but alas that did not happen. If you do go ask for Gabe again he was fantastic and helpful.

Sales person was extremely pushy. Lied to us, said the Presidents Day sale ended that day and we would have to purchase that day or put 20% down to lock in the price. Here we are a full week later, on Presidents Day and the same sale is still going on.

Let me just start off by saying that the customer service was top notch. I know I have been places where we are bombarded with salesmen and pressured, My husband and I didn’t experience that here. We were assisted by Ginger Short and she was nothing short of amazing! She was so sweet and personable, She got us the best deals possible and even threw in some free stuff! I can’t recommend her enough, if you are looking for furniture but aren’t sure where to go, go visit her and I promise she will take care of you!
Worst service after the sell! Paid 12k cash for items on Black Friday. Kept having to call to see when it would be delivered kept getting different dates then finally it arrived in pieces! Headboard no footboard mirror no dresser! Finally was told rest of items would not be until June over 7 months later! Was able to get refund for items not delivered finally but then began the whole ordeal of getting them to pick up items that I could not use! As of 2/9/22 still have not picked up these two items. When I called again and asked if I could go out of my way and bring them back for them I was told I could not bring them back to where I bought them I had to drive them an extra 30 miles into Oklahoma City! I will NEVER do business with Mathis brothers or affiliates again!

We had a wonderful salesman named Gabriel. He was very polite and respectful and didn’t pressure me at all. He explained all the delivery information the protection information very precisely. I knew exactly what I was paying for when I left the store. The men just delivered the chair. The weather conditions are awful but they braved the bad roads and delivered my chair on 2/4/22. They were both very polite and efficient. Had the chair in the house and out together in no time. I honestly have never had this good if an experience furniture buying before. Went in Saturday afternoon to purchase furniture for an office. Was met at the door By salesperson Hays. Hays was rude and flippant while my wife was looking at furniture. I was ready to leave due to his behavior, but we needed the furniture for Monday at open of business. We were in the store for approximately 20 minutes and spent a little over $1200.00. Hays was rude the entire time (maybe that just his personality). My wife made it clear that the items were needed Monday several times. Monday her office was contacted in reference to delivery, they needed to set up a DAY and time because no date of delivery was listed on the bill of sale. She was told it would be Thursday the soonest items could be delivered. Went to the store and spoke with the manager ( he is the reason this isn’t one star) he worked for a long time to try and get our furniture delivered. Mathis Brothers, didn’t need our business bad enough to fulfill their promise to deliver on Monday nor could they careless. Was told again Thursday was the best they could do, I wasn’t asking for a discount or any money back, just for the furniture. I was told that they couldn’t give me back my money for the delivery even though I never mentioned that. Finally had to cancel the order at 7pm Monday, went to BIG LOTS in Norman and got Lane and Broyhill furniture $200.00 cheaper and the same quality, love seat was wrapped in heavy plastic, chair was boxed and in heavy plastic . Lies, deception, and misdirection! Caleb and Medi are first class liars out to steal from old ladies like my geriatric mother. Back in early January Caleb sold my mother a protection plan on a mattress cover that she did not need, but he felt it was worth the $129 that it cost her, and he claimed that if we didn't use the protection on the mattress cover that we did not need with the SOFA we purchased, then after the plan was up we could use the $129.00 in store. That's after TEN DAMNED YEARS. That initial purchase however, was cancelled and neither of these two losers made even the slightest effort to notify us that the manufacturer cancelled the order and we no longer could have that sofa we bought. The staff at the Norman store chose to just say screw these people we aren't saying a word! And they sat on their outsized posteriors and did NOTHING until we arrived.When we arrived after that, we were guided to a number of "other" sofas, that were allegedly in stock. Neither of these attentive sales people paid any attention to how weak and slow mom was moving. They would've walked and walked her until she fell, then blamed her for falling. IDIOTS! This is Ashley Furniture's best customer service! Today, 2-1-22 delivery of a new sofa, and new TV stand is supposed to happen. The delivery team arrived, came in to see where they were putting it...and proclaimed they couldn't take the old one away, because it was dirty, and did not smell fresh enough for the greasy, tatted up Mexican Gang Bangers that Ashley sent to our home. They refused to complete the delivery, refused to take away the old stuff despite us paying $300 to have this done. Lying Caleb and Masturbatory Medi never mentioned that everyone is steam cleaning their sofas for the South Side Locos or whoever that riff raff were that came here. At no point did lying Medi and Caleb even mention that you had to have nice, gently used, fresh smelling piece of used, dead furniture the super soft delivery guys. This is Ashley Furniture's best customer service! These delivery guys stood in my yard, making threats and taunts and asking what I was going to do about them tresspassing after both my mother and I had instructed them to leave...until I went and got a rifle and made it clear. They then claimed they would not and could not leave because "they are waiting for the police" and "we will look like pussies if we leave...so fuck no we aren't leaving!". They left after some warning shots, and refused to wait for the police who we called and worked with upon their arrival. This is Ashley Furniture's best customer service! Run! You don't want to use Ashley, nor Mathis Brothers as they are one and the same. But if you find yourself forced to use these places, I would encourage you to refuse to be serviced by lying Medi or Scammer Caleb! We will never use this place again, and I will tell everyone I know not to do so! Because... This is Ashley Furniture's best customer service! I would've included pictures for you to see, but nothing was delivered as promised. This is Ashley Furniture's best customer service!

I’m pretty sure I financed that too. Numbers from the purchase of a couch and chair plus tax didn’t indicate anything was “free” that as I was told it would be.☹️

Bought living room furniture today and it was a great experience. My wife had some specific ideas of what we(haha) wanted and our salesperson, Ginger Short(she really is short), knocked it out of the park. She was very knowledgable(except about the red pillows and she owes me $5) about everything Ashley had in stock. She didn't give us false lead times and was truthful about everything we talked about it. It is tough in today's time to find great customer service, but Ginger Short is the real deal. Ashley better pay her well or she will go run a Chick-Fil-A with that kind of service.

Joseph was absolutely darling, he is the ONLY reason Ashley furniture in Norman, Oklahoma is getting 2 stars from us. I wanted to get my husband a new recliner for Christmas. I went into the store, we found the chair I wanted to buy. It was not in stock, and they did not know for sure when it would be in again. I asked to buy the chair on the showroom, as is. I was told it would hamper further sales of said chair, remember they did not know when it would be in stock again. However, they located one in a warehouse, I had to pay a deposit of 188$ just to be told it was going to someone else. I was willing to pay 950$ cash for this chair when I could have bought it on line for 300$ less and waited 8-12 weeks. Joseph did say the warehouse would call me for a refund, however they are closed for the holiday and no one called to give me a refund. Well guess I'm waiting 8-12 weeks and Ashley furniture will not be getting my money anytime in the future. AND I STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED MY 188$, my hubby is off next week, I bet he gets it!!

Sold us a credenza knowing parts were missing. Found note in box that showed they (Mathes Bros) ordered missing parts last July (5 months ago). Said they would again order missing past. Said they would be here quickly—-BULL! Why should this order come, whenJuly parts order never came?
Everyone seemed to genuinely enjoy working here and working specifically with Ginger Short was a pleasure. She was helpful at appropriate times without ever giving a feeling of the only goal being to close the deal. I wasn't looking forward to shopping but I was genuinely happy with my experience.

If I could give Ginger 10 stars I would! She was absolutely amazing from the moment we walked in the door. Having worked in sales myself, I have high standards and Ginger exceeded them! We weren’t 100% on what exactly we wanted when we walked in, but Ginger helped us narrow our search and even found us a sofa and loveseat in stock (unbelievable with the shipping/manufacturing delays!). We will definitely be recommending her to family and friends and will be back in the future!

LeeAnn was so incredibly helpful- the store was out of stock of a lot (as is every furniture store right now) but instead of letting us look at things we couldn’t even purchase, she looked up every single sectional and couch that was actually available so we could narrow our search. She helped us fit everything we needed into our budget perfectly, and we will definitely ask for her again when we purchase a dining table later this year.
Prices on each item we looked at was 100's of dollars higher than the exact same Ashley item at Mathis Brothers. Everything we looked at takes months to come in.

Having owned a furniture store in years past, l am very particular as to where l.buy and whom By¹wl buy from. When l walked into thd store Pierre greeted me and directed me to the recliner sofas, the product l was interested in acquiring. He let me browse as he watched from a distance, and when he saw w9qhat had my interest he then directed to a set that would fit my needs in a fabric that was acceptable and on sale for around $ 1,200 for the set. Everything he said and did was as l would done if roles were reversed. I told Pierre that l would return with my wife. We returned the next day. When my wife sat on the sofa but to my dissapointed she was not comfortable. Pierre immediately took us to another set, commented on the advantages of the fabric and electric mechanism. and other advantages. Much to my surprise my wife was comfortable and was able to operate the mechanism.. He reinforced the features and waited for me to ask for a price, and after applying various discounts and perks, the price came to around $3,400, almost 3 times what l thought wewere going to spend, but we purchased a product that will keep my wife happy. I visited other stores but Pierre was the only one that conducted himself in a professional manner, much the same if roles had been reversed. We purchased these items because of Pierre's professionalism, not the store's name or product's advertising or name brand

Really like this place. But we got tricked a little. We purchased a nice couch, love seat and chair/ottoman but some of the furniture was postponed a month and i just called and it was postponed another month. This is very frustrating since holidays are coming up. Right now i would only recommend buying what they have in stock. It is too much of a gamble to see if I maybe get all of our furniture by next year. Kinda disappointed.
Orian was my salesman and he was so helpful! I had no intentions of definitely buying anything today but he was friendly, laid back, very knowledgeable and not at all pushy! He took his time explaining details, benefits and features and helped me select the perfect memory foam mattress for my health issues. I plan on purchasing other items at Ashley in the near future and he will absolutely be my go to person!
Tonya was amazing! Very friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in until I left the store. She was able to help me figure out which piece would best fit my needs, and really took what I wanted to heart when giving me recommendations. The application process for the rewards card is tedious and confusing, but I love my new porch furniture. Salesman Brad was helpful.
My fiancée and I ordered a couch from Ashley home store on July 28th. it was supposed to be delivered by the 1st week of September but now the delivery date has been pushed back multiple times. It’s now October 18th and still no couch. There is no communication from the company. If you want something you have to call them and it’s quite exhausting. We are about to cancel our order and purchase a couch from a different company. Spend your money elsewhere because Ashley furniture will charge your card but won’t send the product.
Tried to follow up with the sales person after placing the order and never heard back.

Update 1: Responsive customer service. Very kind salesperson who resolved some misunderstandings. Hopefully I will get the exchange piece soon. Original: Bought a two-piece sofa and got them 3 weeks after My purchase date. And got one piece broken upon delivery. It’s been almost two months and they haven’t brought me the exchange piece. And they only offer refund for the broken piece! So, I would be left with an incomplete set of furniture. Do NOT go there, buy from Amazon only. Worst customer service ever and not so high quality products either. Should’ve stuck with Amazon. Learned my lesson.

Placed an order online and had some difficulties with it. Called in my order and they accepted it but had to transfer my call to receive payment. Held 20 minutes got disconnected call back held 15 minutes got disconnected call back and 10 minutes later I had finally paid. Luckily the pick up went very smoothly even though I never got the email confirmation. Loaders were fast efficient professional and very friendly. If not for the problem in paying I would rate this five stars easily

I just happened to stop by the store in Norman, Oklahoma. The first time I went in NO ONE, I absolutely mean NO ONE ask if I needed help and I walked the WHOLE store. I eventually ran into Kimberly, thank God and she was so so helpful and on my second visit, same experience even though I knew what I wanted and asked for Kimberly, and I ordered from her. Thanks Kimberly for your time and assistance. Maybe they have the NO shopper stalker policy but I didn't not enjoy the experience at all. I went back, because I know someone will ask or wonder, is because I needed a sofa for my office and this is the one place I found what I wanted for the price I wanted.

Walked in, pretty much knowing what I wanted to purchase. A gentleman greeted me at the door and helped me measure a few of the dining room tables that I was interested in. I narrowed it down to 2. The first one wasn’t in stock so I had him check the second one. He sat down, opened his iPad, and got a phone call. He answered the phone call and proceeded to help the customer on phone, leaving me just standing there looking off into space for at least 5 min. Starting to get frustrated I just grabbed the info sheet and walked to the cashier to see if it was in stock. It wasn’t, of course. Luckily this wonderful woman named Kimberly Jones, hearing the frustration in my voice after getting blown off, was there to offer her help because I had already mentioned to the cashier that I was just going to leave. Kimberly was so kind and thoughtful, apologized on behalf of that young man who clearly needed a lesson from Truett Cathy (founder of Chick Fil A) on customer service. I have some more furniture that I need to purchase and I will specifically make a point to use Kimberly again.

We were told they were at the warehouse in Oklahoma City 2 weeks ago and now we are being told they won’t be here until October. 10/10 do not recommend to anyone. Take your business elsewhere.

The experience at Ashley was wonderful! We were VERY honest with Caylie about only needing a spare bedroom double bed for our spare bedroom. She showed us three possibilities, and even MOVED mattresses so we could try them out, like Goldilocks! Then when we went BACK four days later, we had trouble finding Caylie ‘cause I had lost her card. Taylor was so kind, and helped us find the mattress and box springs, explained to us about the OKC pick up, and let us know about calling her before we go so it would be ready. We felt very welcomed and cared for, even though we weren’t spending a lot of money.
Ginger did an amazing job helping us find just the right pieces for our living room! She took the time to really listen to our needs and make great suggestions! She is very knowledgeable and personable! I believe she made this experience a great one and we are so happy with our purchases!

I always love Ashley furniture, never had an issue! We have the best experiences. Well today we wanted to try the Norman store. We walked in was greeted by Leann. She was very nice stated that she could show us around. We told her we prefer to look around ourselves, we don’t like people lingering. She approached us for a second time to simply “let us know that each worker was commission based.” I told her I understood but wanted to walk around myself. She said she wasn’t going to “stalk” us but she wanted to make sure she had eyes on us the entire time we shopped, I explained to her that I was able to reach out to her and let her know if we needed anything, she didn’t have to stare at us the whole time. She stated that they are commission based and she was worried we would work with another seller. I told her we were able to approach her and tell other people no, but she still slowly followed behind us. Although she was nice, she seemed desperate, and pushy. I don’t like that feeling when I’m shopping. And I like to freely speak without being around strangers. Not a fan. Also, I had to bring baby to his mama. 🤪😜

I felt pressured to buy something and when I asked about ordering, I was told it would take 18 WEEKS. So I guess I'll just order from Ikea or Amazon.
I purchased a leather sectional and upon delivery there was a hole in the chaise lounge and scuffs on the leather. I called for a replacement. Today the delivery shows up and per the delivery guy, the replacement is in worse shape than the original! Very frustrating that it couldn't have been inspected prior to wasting both my time and the delivery team time! I had the same issue with a table I purchased from Ashley as well. It shouldn't be this difficult to buy new furniture that looks NEW on delivery! Very disappointed. Update: 3rd time is a charm. Bianey was able to locate a lounge chair that was not damaged and it was delivered this week.

Shipping is ridiculous, especially with no updates from your salesperson. I cancelled my order and will be waiting for my refund twice as long again with no communication from the salesperson. I won't be shopping with Ashley again anytime soon.

Ginger had us all set up to buy the perfect sectional and dining room set. We ordered the bundle 03/07/21. Ginger was nice and went above and beyond. But here it is 06/01/21 and still waiting for the LAST piece of our sectional that probably won’t be here until July! We picked up our dining room set ourselves up in the city. Didn’t get 3/4 of the sectional delivered until mid/end of May! I’m sorry but the wait for furniture is ridiculous even if the furniture is amazing. We were told there would be a wait but not this LONG! Only until the beginning of May the latest and every time I’d call to see where our pieces were, we would get a date and it would be pushed back….So if you don’t mind “waiting” then go ahead and buy furniture.
ZERO STARS!!!! I have had the worst experience at this store I was promised my couch and chair on Sunday. The delivery driver rolled my chair to my apartment, no couch he said the only reason I even got my chair today was so the sales person can get there commission. The chair I got has a small rip in the back. I have called this store several times, the manager took over 4 hours to call me back said he was busy on the floor, which told me they have my money I am not important anymore and then the manager compared my shopping experience to ordering a hamburger and getting pickles when he did not order pickles. I am still sitting here waiting for a return call again. I had to give one star to post my message if not I would rate them 0 stars

I had the best experience purchasing furniture today. Sara Zakerie at the Norman Ashley store went above and beyond to help us out. She was easy to communicate with, knowledgeable, and made the buying process easy. I typically get overwhelmed going in furniture stores, but working with her was wonderful. If you go to Ashley, ask for Sara Zakerie, you won't be let down. I will be contacting her next time I need to make a purchase.

I’ve made three purchases recently at Ashley HomeStore in Norman. The first one was with the sales associate Pierre, I purchased a new couch and a painting. He was SO helpful, we picked out the PERFECT couch for my living room style! The second purchase I made was with Micah, I needed an ottoman for my living room. Unfortunately there wasn’t a paired matching set made for that particular couch. BUT he found the PERECT match in another style, you would think it was meant for my couch! Now my living room set is complete/beautiful and I am SO thankful for both of their help. Thirdly, Taylor helped me find the cutest bed to match my bedroom decor perfectly! I had an idea in mind and she exceeded my expectations. She got me taken care of so quickly too, I’m so thankful for her help! EXCELLENT customer service, anytime I need something in the future I will absolutely be back at this store! I highly recommend them!

Just moved to the area and basically had to start from scratch. Jordan did an excellent job with our purchases: a couch, a bed frame, two night stands, and a dining room table set. Very helpful, friendly, and funny. And he met us on our level—not too much of a pitchman, which is what we liked. Other furniture stores in the area feel like skeezy car dealerships in comparison. He also put up with us walking him all over the store, being indecisive, and giving him weird specifications for the pieces we needed. Keep this guy around. He’s an asset.

I have to edit my review unfortunately. ****We finally got our sectional delivered 4 months after it was ordered. It came damaged. I reported to our salesman immediately, and later that day I found more damage (reported to him again), and finally that evening I discovered the delivery crew damaged part of a rock wall at the entrance of our driveway (he got another text at 9pm). The delivery crew was honest and fixed our wall. We are still trying to get our money back for the couch. I emailed customer service and she said because the couch was a special order, our only option was $300 off or to send someone out to fix the couch (with no guarantee on the workmanship and it would have come from our protection plan we paid for, not Mathis Brothers/Ashley Homestore’s dime) Ashley Homestore/Mathis Brothers broke their sales contract with us, delivering to us broken and damaged furniture then have tried to victimize us afterwards by saying there’s nothing that can be done. It took me going to a consumer advocate to get any resolve. Supposedly our couch will be picked up tomorrow (9/18/21) and we will get a full refund. When we were at the Ashley store in April we received 2 pillows a Mathis brothers reward card and set of cleaning kits (total of $422) all under the guise of it being a rebate from the purchase of the couch. Later we discovered that some fancy math had been done and we in fact paid for those items. Do not fall for the rebates, do not buy from Ashley/Mathis Brothers. Do your research thoroughly before buying from them. It’s taken me getting a consumer advocate and filing complains with the BBB, Oklahoma State Attorney General, Federal Trade Commission and US Attorney General.****** Original: Pierre at the Ashley Store in Norman OK was the hardest working salesman we’ve met. I have had several experiences here. Both good and bad. But I will only speak of my last one. It was good, just went in today with my wife to quickly look at new furniture for our new house, I told the salesman that we weren't buying today but just looking and pricing and we were very short on time. He was very very helpful, got us to all the things we were looking for, gave us prices and discounted prices etc, without pressuring us to buy today. Simply gave his card and told us the sars he's not available should we want to come back. Very professional, that's how you sell something and gain trust.

Bought two bedroom sets. One isn’t coming until June. The other was coming the end of March and now I’m told won’t be until mid April... and the sales person would have followed me into the bathroom. He is creepy! Never again!!! I feel like he said whatever to get me to buy! Now I am waiting for furniture I have paid for and don’t get to use for months!! Ridiculous customer service!
I have a love/hate relationship with Ashley. My last experience was horrible, my furniture took 3 months to be delivered and noone was willing to help. Anyway, this review is on this last experience. Shopping for furniture is not our favorite thing to do, however; Home Furnishing Specialist Kimberly Jones, proved to make this task much easier. She listened to our requirements, provided us with many ideas and selections, especially when we were undecided. Her willingness to help and customer service is why we came back that evening and purchased with her from the Norman store.
Kimberly helped my fiancée and me pick out the perfect couch. This lady is so dope. As long as she works there, we will continue to come back for our furniture. We really had an amazing experience each time we visited.

Ordered in early March and still getting the run around about a delivery date. We've been told numerous of times that our furniture would be arriving soon, but no actual date. The shopping experience is perfect, but afterwards, not so much.

We purchased a sofa and ottoman in the Abilene, TX store on Dec 28th, 2020. Was told it would be about 2-6 weeks for delivery. After 6 weeks we called the number provided and asked when we would get it. They had the sofa but not the ottoman. Was told it would be in the second week of Feb. Called again that week and was told it would be in about Feb 23 but they could go ahead and deliver the sofa. Called again after that date and was told it would be in on March 10. Called on March 11 and still not in. This is unreasonable and we want our furniture. They have had our money for almost 3 months and we don't have all the furniture we purchased. . Will not ever purchase from Ashley again. The furniture might be nice, but the wait time is ridiculous. Could get furniture just as nice elsewhere and get it delivered right away.

The store closed at 8 and we arrived at 7:30 and were greeted by Ginger. She was so sweet to us and never complained about having to work late to complete our purchase. Went to the norman Ashleys store a couple days ago and a wonderful guy named Pierre Debrosse was there to help me off the bat. He took his time and figured out with me what would work exactly for my space to make the most of it and have it look amazing! Felt very comfortable in the store and everything felt like it was my choice unlike some other furniture stores where it feels like things get forced down your throat. Highly recommend anyone taking a min to step and if you can get Pierre he is the best in helping design your home!

I took my 72 year old mom in to look for new living room furniture. We were greeted by Anthony at the front. He guided us in the direction of what we were looking for. He checked on us periodically to see how we were doing but he wasn’t pushy. He told us our options as far as a sectional or individual couch and loveseat. He told my mom about all their specials and said if we did decide on anything he would be happy to crunch the numbers and tell her an exact price of what everything we would be. He ended up figuring it two different times for us to see what was the better deal between getting a sectional or getting individual pieces. He was excellent to work with and was very helpful. He did a great job listening to what we asked for and getting mom the best deal possible. What a great salesman!

You get what you pay for to a certain extent with furniture. Every other piece of furniture seemed to have fake spills (wine glass, coffee, etc.) How about instead of pushing furniture protection plan (15% pretax total of sale), you have better faith in the construction and fabrics!?
I know there are lots of people who may love to shop for furniture. I am not one of them. However, when I walked into Ashley’s Furniture I was greeted by Ginger. She had a great big smile and welcomed me like an old friend. There was absolutely no pressure in searching for furniture. I knew what I wanted and I expressed my ideas and she made my vision happen. I was also the last person in the store, past closing time and not one time did I feel like I had to rush out of the store just to complete the transaction. This was the BEST sales experience I have ever had buying furniture. When I was completing the financing portion of the sale, Jasmine was a rock star in helping me navigate those uncharted waters. After all the stress of moving across the country I was not looking forward to furniture shopping. I walked into Ashley’s and was immediately greeted by Jamie. The first time in the store he let us know he was there if we had any questions but did not pressure us into purchasing anything. The second time in the store when we were ready to buy Jamie was there again to make sure this process went as smooth as possible for us and with the help of Zoe we were able to get everything we wanted in a timely manner.

Ginger Short was absolutely incredible to work with. As first-time furniture buyers, my wife and I weren’t really sure what to expect and were worried about finding a pushy salesperson who wouldn’t listen to us. Ginger took us from “just looking” to “take my money!” within about 10 minutes because it actually made sense of helping us reach all of our goals! Then she was incredibly patient for the next 3 hours we spent together while I took the time I needed to shop for all the perfect pieces for our new home. She was extremely helpful and informative about each mattress, pillow, couch, coffee table, lamp, and desk we explored. There is no way we would have pieced everything together as well without her help. From the moment we met her, Ginger has been all about educating us and helping solve our problems, and it hasn’t been simple. She helped us take advantage of a Black Friday sale without screwing up our home purchase even though our house hadn’t closed and we couldn’t finance the furniture for 2 more weeks! Then, when my wife didn’t agree with a couple of my choices, we came back to switch out a couple of items and she made sure that everything was handled carefully on our order so that they honored the original sale prices. Then, when one of the items came back slightly defective, she immediately worked out a replacement and checked in multiple times to make sure we were taken care of. Ginger is absolutely top-notch. I really don’t want to buy furniture anywhere other than Ashley Furniture - Norman, because I can’t imagine finding a better sales rep than Ginger! Amazing service!!! Our first time in this store and we were helped by Pierre, the most Friendly and energetic salesmen we have met. After many years shopping at the OKC locations and many purchases this was the BEST experience we have had. We had been treated rudely several times by various people but if the company had Pierre training employees they would never miss a sale. We will definitely be returning to this location for future furniture purchases or wherever Pierre works at. There were a few pieces that were not going to be available for some time but that can’t be blamed on the store or salesman. Obviously they have Zero control over distribution timelines and it would be ridiculous to blame them for slower than normal production. This was also the first time we had ever heard about the rewards program from anyone. Wishing we knew about it sooner since we would have had the opportunity to earn rewards but glad to know about it now.

Update, This has now turned into a bad experience. We called to confirm the changes were made to our invoice and they are now saying deliver will not be until end of March and apparently that is what it was from the beginning. We were not happy with a two month deliver date, but we understand Covid is making things hard. We wouldn't have made the purchase if she would have told us its going to be 4 month or more. So sales person was not honest about deliver date. Feel like she told us whatever she needed to make the sale. Which would also explain how we ended up with all the extra charges. Now I have a useless credit card and furniture I can't use. We are definitely cancel this transaction. Be honest with people and they will deal with changes that come up. Pretty good Corona precautions and sells lady was nice. They charged us for things that were suppose to be free, they did fix it the next day. We had to talk with three different people before it was fixed. So check your receipt before you leave. Also downgrade a star because it's going to be almost 2 months before we get what we paid for. Side note your lighting is terrible, very hard to pick furniture and paint colors with the lighting you have.
They are experiencing a huge shortage of stock but are still showing everything and noting “it might take a little while.” We placed our order back in October, were told first week of December. We felt that was okay, but December came and the ETA was changed twice. First pushed off by one week, then the second? Until March! I understand that isn’t directly the store’s fault, but then it took over a dozen phone calls to get the order canceled. Was told I’d be called back by a manager in five or ten minutes, no one called at all. Two hours later I call them, have to be called back, all to just get ticket cancelled. Not a great experience. Expected more from how much money we were willing to spend.

I called the week of July 11th since that was the next delivery date given and was told it would be 6 more weeks!! I cancelled the order!! I’ll go elsewhere to buy a sofa. Oh and Pierre would never return my calls or text messages. We went to Ashley’s Homestore in Norman today to purchase a sofa to match the 2 recliners we bought last December. We met Pierre Debrosse and he was very professional, explained the Protection Plan in case we wanted it, the Rewards Program to save $$ on future purchases. Today Pierre knew exactly what we wanted, gave us exceptional service and the Rewards program saved us a few $$ today. While checking out Jasmine was very friendly, explained the financing with % interest paid within so many months. Very kind and courteous.

Having gone to Mathis Brothers on Sunday, we went home and decided to go back there and to the Ashley store attached to MB. Due to the drive, we ultimately decided to go back to the Norman Ashley store. Luckily, Ginger was our sales person. She went above and beyond for us every step of the way in our new purchases plus helping us resolve the issue from September that we had nothing but the run around on. Ginger is the reason we will come back to the Norman Ashley store. The manager Jonas was a huge help also. Customer service can make or break a place and with having Ginger, Ashley stores are very fortunate. She’s the best!
Fantastic customer service. If your looking for a place to shop I highly recommend this place. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, patient and kind. The staff enjoys what they do and make you excited for turning your home into a showpiece. The furniture ranges in all price options. Something for everyone.

Our sales representative was amazing! We found what we wanted in our price range very quickly. I gave it a 3 star cause we were lied to. We checked out on Norman at 7pm, we were told that we could pick up on table at the okc that they close at 8pm. When we got there at 730 they were closed. Supposedly they close at 7 due to covid 🤷♀️ Super frustrating driving 30 mins and not being able to pick up the product that you spent 900 on
I came in on September 10th and purchased 2 couches. I was told they would be in within 3 to 4 weeks. It is now November 21 and I still do not have the couches. I have tried to call multiple times to check the status and most of the time nobody answers. The one time I have had someone answer, we were &"disconnected&". When I called back, no one answered. I had company in October and I have lawn chairs in my living room. I have more company coming Thanksgiving and I still have lawn chairs. I understand that COVID-19 is delaying things but it&'s really upsetting to not get any kind of updates. Especially after this amount of time. I had somebody that was going to be able to deliver them for me in October when they were supposed to be in but he has since moved to Texas. The least they can do at this point is deliver them for free IF they ever come in. I went online and tried to get information from the online assistant. After over an hour, I gave up.

I had seen Ashley's furniture in many other cities but this was my first time visiting one, and you can count me surprised and impressed. They have furniture buying down to a science with a complete care experience. Jaime was assisting us, it was his first day and he was fantastic! He was informative, patient and courteous. Bought a sofa and recliner and if their process never changes I will always shop Ashley's for all my furniture needs in the future. If you buy here, ask for Jaime. With a first day performance like that he will be one heck of an associate!

After spending countless days going to multiple furniture stores, we ended up at the Ashley homestore. We were early but they still let us in to shop and Ginger was more than happy to show us around! Not doing that weird hovering thing most salesmen do and actually getting to know our likes and dislikes. We ended up buying an entire house full of furniture and Ginger worked with us on the price of everything she could and even got the manager to extend our loan term! Anytime we have questions we send her a text and she has always been super quick to reply and has always been extremely helpful! 10/10 would recommend just because she made it feel very effortless and relieved our stress about buying a ton of furniture! We were in awhile back to get some furniture for our dinning room and living room. Ginger Short was the lady that helped us out. She listened to our needs, showed us around, and provided excellent options! She also followed up with us, provided updates on our back orders, and made sure we were satisfied after the delivery. We looked all over the Oklahoma City metro to find the perfect furniture for our new house. We decided to make the trip out to Ashley after not having much luck at the other “big” stores. Immediately when we walked in, Autumn was there to greet us and guide us where we needed to go. We were dreading going to shop for furniture in fear of pushy salespeople, but that’s not what we experienced at all. She gave us our space but was there for any questions and didn’t hover. We found out perfect set and Autumn was so patient and helpful! Actually excited to go back and pick out bedroom furniture next! Thanks again Autumn! Edit: We visited this store again today, 5/2/2021, and it was another great experience. We had the pleasure of working with Micah. He was so incredibly helpful and really knowledgeable when it came to mattresses and bedroom furniture. We found an awesome bedroom set and mattress and left just as happy as the first time. I ordered living room, dining room and bedroom furniture from the Ashley Home Store. My salesman was Aaron Murtha at the Norman, OK location. From hauling furniture from one side of the store to the other to constantly updating me on the status of my delivery, Aaron was great. He's super friendly and personable. He went above and beyond to ensure my happiness. I highly recommend working with him if you choose Ashley. I love my purchases and chose the white glove delivery. Be prepared for a 4-6 week wait on furniture, due to the pandemic though.

We bought a couch in June. We have not received it. It's OCTOBER. Nor can anyone tell us where it is, on a truck, in a warehouse, is the wood being harvested by hand? Nothing. Never again.

The entire staff was friendly and extremely helpful. Autumn was salesperson and she was awesome! She was very patient with me as I tried out several options before making my decision of what to get. The sectional I picked out was out of stock and without even asking the manager looked and was able to find it at another location and set it up to deliver from that store. To say my experience was great would be a major understatement. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone and everyone!

I won't buy anything from this store again. July 9th went in to purchase a recliner that is easy to get in and out of. Found one that I liked but it wasn't in stock but would be in in a week. Week went by so I called to see if it was in. They told me end of the month. August 1st called they told me August 26 that came , September14 was my date then September 27 they guaranteed me it would be in and they'd call me. WELL ITS OCTOBER 9TH WHERE'S MY CHAIR! I'M CONSIDERING JUST GETTING MY MONEY BACK BUT THAT WOULD PROBABLY TAKE A LIFETIME TOO.
I hate to even give this store one star. This store and this company is terrible! I ordered a leather living room furniture set back in May and was promised a two week delivery time for all five pieces from my sales guy. I was so excited about the quick turnaround and after shopping other furniture stores with a bit longer wait time, I decided to buy from Ashley. My first piece of furniture did not arrive until July. The other two arrived in August. I am still waiting on the last piece with no promise or guarantee of a delivery date. I have had no communication from this store regarding my order. I have had to call the store countless times to only get the same lie. Delivery dates keep getting pushed back. I was also told this furniture was 100% leather and it is not. The seats and back are leather and the rest is vinyl. This company has terrible customer service!! I completely regret buying from Ashley Furniture. I strongly advise to stay away from this company.

By far the worst experience with ANY retailer I’ve ever had. I was missold by the salesman, Mike. He was literally telling us anything we wanted to hear about the set we were looking at, and then purchased. We didn’t receive one piece of the set for 5 months, after having to call and remind them 10+ times. Now the sofa I purchased is worn down, it’s only been 8 months, and they’re doing NOTHING about it because it’s not an “accident”. I’ve never written a review before because I never felt the need to, but this place is a disaster. I have NO IDEA how they have some 5 star reviews, I’d rate it 0 if I could.

Our sales lady Tammy was above and beyond the best for job!... we were in and out within 30 to 45 min !... The only thing I'd say needs a little more of is bed selection... For example there was 1 of our beds in stock but not on the floor for us to try out... Being 1 of the best selling mattresses this year & last year I'd figure there would have been @ least 1 on the floor!... The service couldn't have been better !... Tammy deserves a promotion in my opinion!... I've done a lot of business @ this location and this was by far the best experience I've had yet!... Tammy has a forever customer for sure !...
Wonderful shopping experience from the moment I walked in the door! With the current health crisis they took care to protect both me and the employee and the showroom was impeccably clean. Great selection of furniture with no pressure to purchase (even though I did). My salesman Max was extremely knowledgeable, engaging and courteous.
Since my last review, I have to downgrade them. Beautiful items in the show room, but no stock. I was on a waiting list forever--no one ever called or updated me so I canceled all three rooms. Then they told me if I wanted anything again it would be another 8 weeks. Why can't they get the furniture made?? I am not buying the Covid excuse. People want their furniture before the holidays. Never again. You can find their products elsewhere in stock if you are willing to go get it. Burned and done.

Was at Ashley Home Store in Norman and was impressed by being met up front by someone (the manager) who took our temperature before entering. Was met by Ginger who asked what we were looking for and led us right to what we wanted. Showed us all our options and checked to see if there were different colors and styles. Ginger was quite impressive and we decided to purchase a living room set right then and there. It will take a while for delivery and that is not a problem for us since we were in no rush. Thank you Ginger for a great job and also to her manager and cashier for making us feel appreciated and well cared for.

My advice would be to RUN far far away and don&'t look back..Over the course 3 months there were a total of:-13 calls to customer service-2 trips to the Norman store (just about an hour of my time round trip)-5 (at least) personal text conversations with Jonas, a store manager-3 delivery dates set up (one time the delivery guys called to tell me we were on the schedule but they didn&'t actually have a couch to drop off... LOL)After everything was said and done a store manager told me that our account would be partially credited for all of the issues we had.. we texted back and forth in May, June and July where he told me that it was submitted and just needed to be processed.. its now September and we have yet to see anything.

So as one does after marriage, my wife and I moved into our new home and naturally the urge arrived to buy new furniture. We held out until the Labor Day sale and to be honest I was dreading the thought of possibly encountering a pushy salesperson that rushes you to buy now(or else), etc. But we arrived at the Ashley HomeStore and that dark cloud I was expecting never materialized. Instead of the shakedown that lived only within the recesses of our anxieties, Ginger, was very delightful. She was attentive to our preferences and was patient with our indecision and debates(Don’t you think comfort should be held in equal or higher regard than aesthetics?). Ginger guided the experience every step of the way; Always setting our expectations and giving practical advice and relevant anecdotes along the way. She gave us the space to explore but also seemed to magically reappear the moment we needed her. Ginger was also an excellent communicator. Over the course of 2 days she replied to any questions quickly and informatively and both my wife and I have the utmost confidence in our selections as a result. The long and Short of it is that she cared enough to engage with us about our furniture desires and sectional needs but didn’t overwhelm. And even with the mask on you can tell she smiles more than most. If- No: WHEN you finally get over yourself and decide to fill that deep existential void within yourself with chaise lounges, dining sets, and ottomans: I suggest you go see Ginger. Thank me later.

This guy was very patient with my hesitation and my loud kids. If you’re planing to go there, Mahdi is your guy.
I bought a new house recently so I needed to fill said house with nice furniture. Ashley furniture is great quality at affordable prices. Ginger Short happened to be the sales associate I got to work with and let me tell you, she is amazing. Ginger went above and beyond to help me find the pieces I wanted. She also helped me with a very recent phone order where I purchased a loft bed for my son. I could not be happier with Ginger and her awesome expertise. I would also like to add that she is NOT pushy, she is friendly and goes above and beyond for her customers.

I went to Ashley Homestore to purchase a new dining room set. Micah was my salesperson. He was wonderful. Helped us move chairs to different tables until we found the combination we liked. Helped us find a nice buffet to go along with the table and put up with us trying to decide on a rug. It was a great experience.
The paper work did not reflect what the Ashly floor salesman stated to the Sleep Wellness staff but the staff came through like champs. All in all, I would say a very positive experience.
We went to 3 stores looking for a specific recliner with no luck. We need a “big man” recliner. We even went to the Lazyboy store. We found a chair there but the price was through the roof. We headed home and I remembered that my husband had sat in a recliner about 2 years ago at Ashley and loved it. I drove directly to the store and walked right up to the chair. My husband sat in it and finally had THE look! Our salesman Mo directed us to several “big man” chairs. We found the exact chair and saved over $800 over the chair at Lazyboy!! I love Ashley furniture store. Thanks for the great customer service!

Our sales person Anthony was amazing. If we ever come back here, it would most definitely be because of his service to us. The waiting period is longer because of COVID so we were told it would be 4-5 weeks before delivery. That was fine. The customer service however is HORRIBLE. I had called them to find out an exact delivery date as we were going to be out of town. The lady told us that everything would be arriving the beginning of the following week. WE GOT RID OF ALL OUR FURNITURE in preparation for the new set. When we called again, she said they only had the rug and the loveseat in. After a frustrating argument, she finally gave me the number to Anthony because he could give us an exact date. WHY NOT DO THAT IN THE FIRST PLACE?! When we spoke to Anthony he told us the recliner was the only thing they had in and everything else would be in SEPTEMBER 20th-27th. We ordered everything July 10th. So now we're sitting in floor of our apartment for the next month instead of having everything within the 4-5 week delivery period we were promised. How does it go from 4-5 weeks to 8-10 weeks?! If Anthony isn't there the next time we go to Ashley's, we WILL NOT be buying anything. The 2 stars is strictly for his service to us. There are plenty of other places we can drop 3k and get much better service. As of right now, we are contemplating on whether or not to cancel everything all together and go to Mathis Brothers.

My experience at Ashley HomeStore was positive. The store clerk, Autumn, who assisted me was courteous and patient while helping me to see the range of possible options I had.
They did not honnor the warranty and when asked about it and when asked about it refused to explain why they wouldn't honnor the warranty then hung up on me and wouldn't answer when I called back.
Attempted to purchase a &"poof&" that you can rest your feet on at this location. For some reason, this store has decided that these need to be hanging from the ceiling and are attached to metal chains. Holes have been sliced into each of the poofs because of this so apparently they sell these things damaged. I still wanted it but they have one person at the store who&'s designated to take these things down for purchase since they hang about 10 feet in the air. I was told by the associate that was helping me that this person was not on shift and that maybe a manager would be able to take it down for me instead. A few mins later I was told the manager was not interested in taking it down. I figured they weren&'t interested in my money so I promptly left the store. Horrid customer service.In response to the reply below:The associate I was working with was basically acting as a messenger between myself and the manager on shift (afternoon of Aug 8) who never bothered to explain the situation in-person. I was told by the associate that the manager didn&'t want to take down the display poof and that I would have to wait until the following Monday for some maintenance person to handle it. The associate also never mentioned being able to order the same poof and I was simply told that the one I wanted was out of stock with the exception of the one that was hanging from the ceiling. If the manager had actually bothered to walk onto the floor where I was to explain the situation I would&'ve been happy to write a better review.
I'm so upset with Ashley furniture. I sent my son and daughter in law to Ashley to purchase furniture for their new home. I have previously purchased furniture with them and was pleased with service and delivery. They purchased furniture in June and were told it would be 4 weeks. Here it is August and they still don't have a sofa in their living room. I called the store in Norman where they purchased furniture and they said sorry we can't do anything about it. I asked if they could somehow compensate them for the time they have had to wait and there was no offer to make it better. There are so many furniture stores they could have gone too but I suggested Ashley and now look at the situation they are in now. So disappointed. The least you could do is offer something to make up for your poor service.
Purchased brand new bed set waited over two months to receive it all damaged!!!!! Every single piece of our furniture was damaged except for the mirror that was in a box. Damage includes to both nightstands, footboard, bed rails on both sides, dresser, and headboard. Ashley furniture decided to discontinue our bed set and we're no longer able to have it replaced. ALL damaged!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had purchasing furniture. I understand we are in a pandemic and delivery is delayed this isn’t about that. This is about the fact that first of all I was never informed until after purchasing that the delivery would be delayed I was informed 4-6 weeks it’s been since 5/20/2020 and still waiting on sectional. I purchased a dining table and sectional with extra pieces. When purchasing I was told some items would be free. Nothing is free they just say that and then give the prices and say that they were basically free because of all the discounts. The salesman was a good sales man honestly but I don’t like being told things that aren’t true. I’m more upset about not being informed before time about the situation. Also the quality of all the things are absolutely terrible. If I’m paying over 1,400 for a table it better be in top shape. It started to peel in a weeks time that I had it! I had not cleaned it with any products so it can’t be that and we did nothing to it. Also the chair broke when we’ve only had it for a week. I called the sales man and was told it would be replaced. The store calls me 4 weeks later to tell me that another item (everything is being shipped in sections) will be arriving so I ask about the replacement and I’m told they have no info on something needing replaced. I’m absolutely mad and would like to rewind time and shop somewhere else. Never again!!! I’m adding that the store now says that the furniture won’t be here till September. I’ve called customer service only to be told that my order was cancelled. I’m not sure why. Then was told I’d have to wait till the end of August. I was given the date of August 23rd. Now there saying there’s no specific date. So I keep hearing next week next week next week. Sick and tired of it at this point I may be getting a refund and purchasing else where.

We purchased over $2K worth of furniture, that we were told was not in stock, but would be available in 1-2 weeks. Over 2 months has passed, and customer service has been rude, and unhelpful. After waiting over 2 months, we still don't have any idea when the furniture will arrive, they have refused to even offer to make up for the delay by offering free shipping, throw in some free pillows, or anything. Just wait or cancel the order are the only options they will give us.
Hands down the best place to shop for furniture especially with a great sales rep Rustin he is by far the best. Not pushy at all let’s you check out the furniture without feeling overwhelmed he is very knowledgable with all the inventory. Great experience

I can't say enough amazing things about Ashley store in Norman. We stopped in and greeted by Medi ,He was very friendly and helpful, Although we told him that we don't want to buy furniture today because our house is under construction, He spent more than 2 hours to show us all of the furnitures and mattresses. We will definitely be there to get our furniture soon.

Was given a price in writing and told they would deliver for free, drove 75 miles up to Norman to place the order and pay and they refused to honor the price they gave meame tacked on 147.78 in delivery fees they dont even deserve one star !!!
Overall a pleasant experience buying furniture here. Good selection of items and we found some good deals. Delivery was quick and painless as well. Will probably be coming back soon!
My overall experience was fine. Due to covid the warehouse was delayed on getting the sectional I ordered. (Understanding this are delayed, thay was not the issue) I was told 3 different delivery dates. By the time June 14th hit (ordered May. 3rd, told would be deliver May 29th) I was then told again it would be mid July, but others said there was no way for them to be able to tell when it would come in. Mike from The Ashley HomeStore in Norman as well as that team took care of me and found me couches there were in stock and got some delivered that very next Monday. They aren’t close to what I wanted, but a good and solid second choice. I will never order something that is not in-stock again, however I will work with Mike again. He made sure I was happy and had furniture! Thanks Mike!

Three weeks ago they sold us $1000 of bedroom furniture that was out of stock, promising it would come in within three weeks. I called on the date promised (today) to find out status and was told it would be at least a month or more because the factory had been shut down. We are military moving out of stats in a month which we told the salesman 3 weeks ago. Originally I got no help from the corporate owners customer service. But my husband went to the Norman store and the manager bent over backwards to help resolve the problem! I highly recommend doing business directly with the Norman store because they cared and they helped when no one else would!

This Ashley Homestore was great, and the salesman Mike Gibbs was absolutely phenomenal! Listened carefully to our likes and dislikes and then showed us all the furniture available accordingly! Would we shop there again? Yes, and we would highly recommend this store located in Norman, Oklahoma! Our store located in Wichita Falls, Texas was a complete fail and we would gladly journey back to Norman! We bought a bed and headboard from here a few months ago and had an amazing experience. We went Sunday to “look” at furniture. After it was all said and done we purchased over 4K worth of furniture. We weren’t ready to buy because we needed to measure our space but the gentleman said there was a 7 day return policy. He also gave us a great discount and free 5 yr protection plan. Our biggest concern while shopping in store was if the couch was going to fit our living room. The salesman again reassured us with the return policy stating it was no problem. When we got home we thankfully took measurements and realized it would not fit. Immediately we pulled out our paperwork to look at the return policy. To our surprise we were charged for the protection plan on everything and then to return you had to pay them to pick up and there was a 10%restocking fee. Honesty is always the best policy. We canceled the complete order and I don’t know if we will shop here again. It was ultimately extremely frustrating and a complete waste of time. I felt like we were lied to and scammed into making a purchase.
I got on-line and requested to chat with a sales person. BAM! I GOT Mohammed ( Mo) He dealt with my indecisiveness for a few days. He sent me his cell phone number and told me when I was ready to reach out and if I had any questions to please text him. He got me FREE DELIVERY . let's just say he went above and beyond. I am moving into my first apartment and I needed furniture. My parents suggested Ashley so I went in. Mike helped me out, so if you are in you should ask for Mike Gibbes. super helpful guy. The day after I made my purchase my landlord changed my move in date to about a month later. I called him like 3 times the next day to edit the delivery and change my information and all of that stuff. I am sure I was annoying him but he was helpful each and every time.I was a little disappointed that they did not have some of the stuff I had seen online, but they still had plenty of stock that looked great. It was a little pricier than I was hoping, but the quality of the in-person store was probably much better. Ill give an updated review of 5 stars if the delivery goes without a problem and everything is as good as it was in the store. Definitely recommend.
Great experience! They had plenty of selection in lots of price ranges. We finally found exactly what we were looking for after sitting on many couches! Jordan was a big help in alleviating my fears of ruining it with stains, and he also got me a good deal and led me through a great financing special they have going on right now. Sitting on my extremely comfy couch writing this! So worth it!

I am pretty sad - and VERY frustrated to have to write this review. We have previously shopped at this Ashley and had a great experience from the shopping process all the way through the delivery without a single problem... but our latest experience has been a nightmare and leaving me wishing we hadn't ever gone back. I will start by saying that the evening that we shopped and ordered our couch our experience was GREAT. Our sales woman was TOP NOTCH and went above and beyond to help us pick out exactly what we needed for the weird layout of our living room, and even helped by moving a rug and coffee table over so we could see everything laid out together to make a final decision. The couch that we wanted had to be special ordered because it was a sectional and we needed it laid out opposite of how it came on the sales floor - we were assured this wasn't a problem and that it was a normal occurance. The rest of my review is going to be laid out in chronological order by date - just so you can see how grand this experience has been - and I'm assuming will continue to be, as it hasn't been remediated yet. January 31st - Purchased Couch - "special order" February 16th - The wrong couch was delivered - special order was entered wrong by the sales associate- We were supposed to be receiving a 3 piece sectional but instead received a 2 piece sectional with the incorrect layout- That afternoon I spoke with 4 different people - & received no call backText our sales woman from the Norman StoreCalled the store - was transferred to customer service with my inquirySomeone called from Mathis Brothers for a routine survey after the delivery - spoke with them, was transferred again to customer service*Everyone stated I would receive a call first thing the following morning from in house manager to get it all figured out* February 17th - Heard nothing from anyone - Around 3pm I drove 35 minutes to Norman to speak with manager in person Manager said he was unaware of the problem and this was the first he was hearing of it - did some digging and figured out what had happened, fixed it in the system then called the merchandiser right in front of me to get a delivery dateI was told that the merchandiser was expediting the shipment - and it would be delivered to my house no later than March 1st Feb 27th - It was Thursday and we hadn't heard anything about scheduling a delivery time so called Ashley - Spoke with customer service who said it was still set up to be delivered by the end of the week... told me it would be delivered by Sunday (March 1st) March 1st - Called inquiring on date again, was told the ETA of delivery was March 13th. March 13th - Called around 2pm and was again sent to customer service - Didn't get her name, but later learned I spoke with a "supervisor". She was VERY rude and told me that the couch was expected to be delivered that night to the warehouse (March 13th) and she could set up a delivery time for me now - we scheduled it for Sunday march 15th. March 15th - Delivery is scheduled to arrive between 230-330pm - Delivery drivers call around 2pm to tell me that they are coming to pick up the wrong couch that was delivered last month - but that they didn't have the new couch to deliver in return. Told them thanks, but no thanks. I then called the store and asked to speak with IN HOUSE manager, was told I had to tell her what was going on before she could transfer me then was again transferred to OFFSITE customer service - Had to tell her the entire situation before I was transferred to a supervisor. He told me that this entire time people have been telling us an "expected date" but he wasn't really sure when our couch would be delivered to the warehouse and someone would call us this following week.. All of that to say - We still don't have the couch we purchased, and communication with this company has been TERRIBLE. If you have an issue and want to speak to someone at the store you have the issue with, forget about it.. Because short of wasting more of your time, money and effort it's just not going to happen. Might update this review... If we ever get the sectional we paid for.

She also showed us white couches after we told her we had 2 kids and 2 dogs. Didnt listen to any of our needs or restrictions. Bought our couch elsewhere.
Had a pleasant experience purchasing a dining room set. No pressure sales. Mike G was very helpful in our search throughout the huge store. Using our search criteria he guided us to several sets until we found the one we liked. This is our third major purchase at the Norman store and it will always be our first stop when looking for furniture.

I had a lot of questions about an online purchase of 3 pieces of furniture I was looking at. I had similar problems about 9 months ago when I bought some bedroom furniture online. I went to the Ashley Home Store in Norman and a young lady name Melanie spent a considerable amount of time helping me. After all its not easy to purchase furniture site unseen. Melanie was so helpful with the online part and made me feel at ease as well. So when I paid that off I decided to purchase some other items I saw on line and lucky for me Melanie still worked at my store. So Melanie Battan thank you for all of your help and being such a pleasure.

Logan is the reason I will never purchase anything from the Ashley store ever again... She is very untrustworthy and incompetent to do the most simple task... She has made false promises numerous times and if she is a supervisor here that's really unfortunate... I've been going back and forth with her about credits that are owed which should have only taken a few business days (according to her several times) and it is still unresolved months later...You have lost customers because of this one experience...

The Sale rep Connie was AMAZING!!! Connie made sure I had everything that I had order and needed. when my order came in Connie contacted me immediately. Lets talk about delivery. Now! no one from customer service contacted the sales rep to let her know that part of the order was damage. Poor communication skills. I had to find out from the delivery guys, after I call my sale rep Connie, she got it all taken care of and receive the rest of my order a week later.

Last year I sold my house and moved in with my sister in law while building a home. One day I went to Ashley Homestore in Norman Ok. to just browse in order to furnish my New Home. Great sales associate Pierre was great very knowledgeable and helpful. He answered all questions and listens to our concerns. Didn't try to over talk like most others we have experienced. Furniture was delivered in a timely manner and once opened found the stitching was not right we were then rescheduled for another delivery of the same item the next day with excellent results and no issues. Yesterday my wife and I went to the Ashley HomeStore in Norman. We were greeted by Tammy Garrett. She listened to what we wanted and showed us those pieces of furniture that met our criteria. She did not pressure us at all nor did she try to convince us to purchase anything additional which is something I really appreciated. Generally speaking, when a sales person does that, I tend to leave without purchasing anything. We left pleased with the leather couch & love seat that we found and can hardly wait for it to be delivered. I can honestly say that I will reach out to Tammy again in the future.

The furniture itself was good. When we picked everything up though, they forgot to include the legs for the sofa chaise. Still waiting on them to be delivered and currently holding the chaise up with books.
We bought some furniture there back in 2018 when we got a new home and we really love all we got. The only exception was a rug we paid $300.00 for and for the past year it has been shedding big tufts of material from it. It goes all out in the hallways around the office where it is and rolls up under our feet at both our desks in there. The other 3 rugs we bought for the living Room and dining room are fine. And the dresser and 2 night stands that we bought for our bedroom are just doing wonderful. We really like them. So over all we are happy except for the one rug that just seems to be falling apart and it was hard to imagine paying $300 for a rug and having it do all this. I guess that's just how it goes sometimes. Overall very satisfied in the man who helped us was wonderful..

About 2 years ago my wife and I purchased a reclining love seat and sofa from Ashley Furniture (which is owned by Mathis Brothers). Recently the handle for the reclining mechanism for the love seat broke off in my hand. When we bought our furniture, we spend for the protection plan, so I called to see if the reclining handle was covered. Of course it was not, pretty much the only thing that seems to cover is cosmetic stuff. The person I spoke with said that it might be covered under warranty, so she transferred me to the service department. I described what the issue was and the person in service told me that it would be covered for parts and labor, I just needed to email them photos so they could be sure to order the correct part. I emailed the requested photos and waited to hear back. And waited. Finally after a few days, I called back and asked what the status was. The person that I talked to said that looking at what the issue was, that it wasn't covered under warranty, however that since I had been told that it would be, they could cover the labor, I would just have to pay for the part. He said they would have to order the part in before they could give me a price on the part,so they'd have to call me back again. So I waited. And waited. Finally I called them back again to check on the status and I was told the part was ordered, but it hasn't made it in to them yet but it should be there soon. This person then told me that the part AND labor is covered under warranty. Of course I was happy about that. On Monday, Dec 09, 2019, I got a call from the service department to say that my part had arrived and that person confirmed with me (again) that the part and labor would be covered under warranty. They told me that the scheduling dept would call me later that day and schedule a time for a technician to come out and replace the part. I never received a call to set up an appointment, so on the following day (12.10.19) I called back to find out when they were going to be out to install the part. The person that I spoke to this time told me that now the labor to install the part isn't covered under warranty. At this point I'm admittedly quite irritated with this whole process and request to speak with their supervisor. I'm told that no manager or supervisor is available (and that they would tell me the same thing I was currently being told) but that a supervisor would be contacting me later that day. Not at all surprisingly by this time, I never received a call from them until the following day (12.11.19). Again, I was told that the part is now considered under warranty, but the labor is not. Even though, on 3 separate occasions, I had been told that the part and labor to install it would be covered under warranty, I was now being told only the part is covered and it would be up to me to install the new part. Full stop. No other consideration. I am completely irritated with 1) the long and arduous process required to get anywhere with trying to get my furniture fixed and 2) being lied to on numerous occasions about the repair being wholly covered under warranty. If I had been told from the start that it wasn't covered it would have been one thing , but then to have 3 different people on 3 different occasions tell me that it was, only to find out that it isn't going to be covered. That's just poor customer service. I'm sure my single negative review won't matter in the least to Ashley Home Stores or Mathis Brothers, but if I can dissuade one person from giving them their money, then I'll be a happy ex-customer.
Perfect couch. Great sales experience. Promised me a date. I made plans around that date. Day before delivery they tell me I didn’t schedule the delivery soon enough. The manager tells me his people should have followed through but hey they didn’t. My time and plans don’t matter. They are so big and busy nothing can be changed. Go somewhere that values the customer and stands by their word. Oh, they did offer to just cancel my order...so I’m back to go somewhere that values the customer and grasps that if you buy furniture you would like to actually receive it.

Pierre was my salesman I can not say enough about him, he is respectful, honest, goes out of his way to make sure you are satisfied. He is also a good decorator. Nicole did an outstanding job showing us the furniture that we were interested in, placing our special order, and finding the best deals for my wife and me. The “white glove” installation team quickly put together our furniture, and moved it where we wanted it, after Nicole negotiated the delivery time that best met our needs. Both the delivery team’s supervisor and Nicole called us afterward to ensure that we were completely satisfied with everything. We are, and look forward to working with Nicole and Ashley Furniture to complete decorating our new home.

Ashley furniture in Norman is awful. If I could rate lower than 1 star I would. The sales person who helped me lied about several things . When speaking with the management team about the problems they had offered no solution's to any of the issues I would not recommend purchasing anything from them.
Store was.well organized, clean, and easy to navigate. Personnel were helpful and friendly, without being overbearing (a huge plus for me). Delivery was quick, and people were efficient and friendly. Overall a very good experience. And I am enjoying my new sofa and recliner.

The price and quality of the furniture is fine. Our salesman (won’t say any names), was a little bit pushy, in the fact that he would not stop trying to get us to finance our purchase. We came in about 2 weeks prior to purchasing our new reclining sofa, in order to get an idea of what we wanted. We expressed to our salesman, then, that we would be paying in full for whatever we decided to purchase. When we came back, we showed common business courtesy and asked to use the salesman that previously helped us. We reminded him that we wanted to pay in full and only buy the reclining sofa. He wouldn’t not stop pushing financing on us, the entire time of the transaction. I understand it is there job to accrue as much business as possible, but they should be respectful if a customer repeatedly says they only want to purchase one thing, and pay for it in full with cash. Cash used to be king, now it seems that financing is what every company pushes, and it shows through Ashley’s Sales tactics. With that being said, it wasn’t enough to deter me from being a possible future customer. However, the worst part of purchasing through Ashley was the delivery process. I was aware that the delivery window was quite large (2-9pm), and that their movers would call 30 minutes to an hour before arrival, that way someone wouldn’t have to be home those 7 hours waiting. I received a call about 1:45, from their movers, saying that they would be at my home for delivery within 45 minutes to an hour. I made arrangements to leave work to meet them. After waiting 30 minutes PAST the time they said they would be there, I called back to check that status. They said that it would be yet ANOTHER hour before they made it. A phone call would’ve been nice, stating that they would be much later than the time they had called and told me. As if that wasn’t enough, they were again 30 extra minutes late from the new time promised. There was no need for me to leave work abruptly, as they were no where close to arriving at the time they had called and told me. These things in conjunction, we will not be repeat customers at Ashley Homestore, or Mathis Brothers. We will spend the extra dollar and buy from a local store, with stronger customer service values.

Shopping at Ashley was great. We came in nearly a month prior to actually buying anything as we were in the process of selling our house. Melanie and the rest of the Norman, OK staff were awesome. The experience was very low pressure and there was always someone around to answer questions. During our second trip back to actually purchase the furniture, we had to take another trip across their huge showroom. Okay let's be honest, we had to walk around it 10 times! When your dropping enough money to furnish 3 rooms, you want to be sure you love the pieces. Once we decided, everything went super fast without any issues. They didn't mind me loitering about afterwards waiting on my wife and her friend to get back from their hair appointment either. Thanks for the refreshments! Delivery was received on time on the date specified and the delivery team was just as professional as the sales team. They caught that our kitchen table had been damaged in shipping so I never saw it but am thankful for their honesty. It helps you relax knowing you have a team that cares about your new furniture as much as you do.

First of all my whole house is furnished with Mathis Brothers Furniture and I have never had an issue there. Here, however, has been a nightmare. It didn't start out that way. I won't put anybody's name on here to at least show more respect than I've been given. I spent almost $3000 here. All I wanted was to be kept in the loop and have all my furniture delivered at once. Easy. I was told when I should expect delivery of my beautiful entertainment center, my daughters bed and mattress. My 5 yr old was super excited to get her big girl bed. She was counting down the days. Finally, the morning of delivery, I was told over text that part of my order was not going to be ready. When I texted back and asked, "which part?" I never heard back FOR 8 DAYS! Surprise, it was my 5 yr old's bed. She was so hurt. Not to mention that the crew told me, "Sorry, we never put one of these together before." They didn't even take everything out of the wrapper as advertised. So I had to do it and they didn't take all the trash away with them either. Guess who's trash can was full? Finally, when I did hear back from them they told me that her bed was going to be ready in just a couple of days. They show up that afternoon and I STILL DIDN'T GET ALL OF THE BED!! I texted the gentleman that sold me all the stuff. His response? "So they didn't come in..." No, not all the parts came in but the worst part about it is instead of having all of my stuff in 1 trip, they are going to be making 3 trips. Kick me while I'm down? It has been 3 days since that text message and I still don't know when I'm going to get my missing pieces because nobody has cared enough to contact me. So, right now all my daughters clothes are laying out in her room waiting for our missing dresser for her bed. Thanks Ashley!!
I would have given this a 4 star rating based on quality of product BUT. BEWARE! Their sales staff is EXTREMELY aggressive, and I was sold a product I did not need. It was not cheap. When I tried to return said product, I was told I'd waited too long. How long? 12 days. They said I had 7. So I got to eat the useless product. It makes me wonder about the longevity of thier product and what it means if I need help in the future.

VULTURES!!! I walked in wanting to look for an accent or recliner chair, and immediately upon walking in the door, I was met with a salesman. There were more than probably 10 sales people walking around with no customers, just waiting to prey on one. I asked him if they had a clearance section, like most Ashley Homestores do, and he claimed all of our chair prices are at clearance prices...lies! I later saw that Ashley's sale store was across the highway. I then told the sales man that i would like to walk and look around, he then followed me through the whole store, very uncomfortable shopping. I asked if they had any chairs under $300, they had one, and then he kept telling me he could make me deals on other chairs that were close to $400. Did not like this experience at all, and walked out. Sucks they work on commission, makes furniture buying unbearable. Won't return.

Spent over 2000$ on a 3 piece living room set. Couch was damaged upon delivery. They brought out a second couch that was also damaged ,we refused delivery of it. Now no other couch is to be had and they refuse to send a repair team out to fix it. Apparently we live to far away (less than 60 miles ). Be warned take your money else where this company is not to be trusted.

The store experience was wonderful. Rodney was great and gave us wonderful service in store. He was attentive without being pushy. Reason for 3 stars is the delivery was not as stellar. They scratched the leather on the doorway and did not repair it. They were also racing out the door before I had a chance to really decide where I wanted it placed. They just wanted to leave the furniture haphazardly without proper placement.

They never called or followed up ONCE. Any communication had to be initiated on our end. Terrible business practice...do not shop here...we never will again
We needed a bed for or spare bedroom. We wanted a bed frame with storage space underneath. After spending time with a very helpful sales person at the local Ashley Home Store, to give us ideas, we found the perfect bed at Ashley online. We ordered an Ashley queen power base and mattress in a box that were on sale. The power base has plenty of space for our storage boxes. We ordered the bed on Sunday and it arrived Tuesday and was delivered to our door. The UPS driver was courteous and helpful. He showed us water damage to the mattress box and told us what to do if the mattress was damaged. When we unrolled and opened the vacuum bag, the mattress looked perfect. We are very happy with our new bed. Thanks

Don't listen to Mike. Very misleading and argumentative when called out on all of his fake promises and added on costs. Will not be coming back. Order online because when they say they're saving you money they're just ringing up the online price and then adding protection plans and platinum rewards and justifying not telling you because "most people want them". So if you pay attention you'll notice all of the added costs and argue with Mike for fifteen minutes before he is forced to tell you he added on these things without your consent.

Every time I buy and have furniture delivered from Ashley’s Home Store in Norman Oklahoma it never fails at least half of what I buy has to be sent back to the store for exchange because it was damaged in the move.
The location in Norman was a great store! They gave us enough space without feeling overwhelmed and we got the couch my better have wanted. Could've been on my side but whatever he loves it! Ha ha. Delivery was prompt and everyone extremely polite.
The sales person at Ashley Home Store in Norman was very helpful. He offered us a bottled water. He let us look around first without pestering us and then was available to answer questions on chairs we liked. He let me know if I had any problems I could return the chair we chose to purchase. When I went to pick up my chair at the distribution center in OKC the guys who took my order, got my chair quickly out to my car and more than one loaded it safely into the back of my car. The one gentleman let me know if I had any problems I could return the chair for a replacement. I was also called later to see how my service was and again the person on the phone said if I had any problems I could return item and get it replaced. Everything was very smoothly done. You have a really good system in place. Thank you.
Update from my last review. They finally came out for delivery, the delivery guys gave a call a little before their arrival. They were already in a bad mood from the tone. I gave him the notice that they&'ll have to bring it up stairs (since soon as you go through my front door there are stairs that go up to the living room and kitchen area)he was just like &"ugggh, alright&" They got here, looked past me at the stairs and made more complaining noises then shook my hand and said hey. We went up to scope out where the couch is going to go. Said the couch was too big. Didn&'t even try, didn&'t even measure. It&'s a regular size couch. Not oversized at all. So you&'re saying every single person at my townhouse complex, no one has couches? That&'s BS. They left the coffee table I purchased and said I&'ll need to choose something smaller, like a loveseat. I called and told Ashley&'s I&'m not interested in anything else since I&'ve already drove from Fort Sill to Norman multiple times just to go to the store. I&'ll just take the coffee table. Manager called, we discussed the issues and he took off the delivery fee. I&'m cool. I&'m happy with that. I log into my account today and my total balance is $506. I didn&'t purchase anything except a coffee table and I have multiple receipts that say that coffee table is only $299. So I&'m confused how I owe $506 on a $300 coffee table.Don&'t shop here at all. It&'s been one thing after another with this store. If you live in the Lawton/Fort Sill area, I recommend HomeZone! They finance thru the same bank as Ashley&'s (I got a couch the exact same size, they delivered two days later, and magically the couch fit.)
I visited this store a few days ago to look at furniture for a move. I had the pleasure of getting Luis Suarez as my salesperson—he was PHENOMENAL. He provided honest reviews of all the furniture my partner and I considered, along with measurement specs, print outs, and recommendations for other items we might like, all without pressuring us or making us feel anything short of comfortable. I normally hate shopping, but my experience at Ashley was extremely pleasant. The furniture was fantastic as well, and the rest of the staff were friendly and knowledgable, too. The store itself was impeccable: very clean, and with plenty of room to move around furniture. Overall, I enjoyed my experience here at the Ashley HomeStore in Norman, OK.
I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THAT STORE AGAIN. Soon as we walked through the door someone tried helping but we wanted to browse alone with privacy. We already knew all we wanted was a couch and coffee table, nothing else. I declined the help and just wanted to look in privacy without someone pulling me around the store trying to make me go above my budget and the style that I had in mind. I can look at the price and sit on the couches and choose for myself without being stalked and hearing constant sales pitches of every couch we pass. But they ignored the fact we stated multiple times we'll browse alone and will seek assistance when we decide the furniture we want. We were followed around the second we walked in, until we walked out. The salesman asked what kind of bed we had, blah blah blah, just trying to get more money. We don't need a freaking bed. I said it multiple times yet we still got dragged to the beds and he showed us beds, different mattresses saying we need a bigger comfier one, was extremely persistent that we buy some bed topper thing. We kept saying no. (I didn't want to lose temper and be rude but I was close to giving him and ear full since he wasn't listening that I wasn't interested at all) After spending way more time than we wanted looking at all this furniture we didn't ask to look at or want, we finally said which couch and coffee table we wanted. Made the purchase. A couple days later I cancelled the purchase due to a floor plan issue but then called and said to go ahead with it. I talked to Ruston who is not at the Norman store but at the warehouse and he helped me out super easy. Re did my order for me and he even went out of his way to shift orders around since my item was out of stock, I was going to get someone else's since my delivery date was sooner and they'd have another one in in time for the other customers delivery. Just said I have to go in the store to sign so I can still get it on my original delivery day. I went back to the Ashley store (1 and half hours away) just to sign. The salesman's again at the front ready to pounce on customers. I explained I only needed to sign with finance but my order had already been placed by Ruston. The salesmen I had last time didn't like that so cancelled my entire order on his own to re do it with HIS name. So he would make commission or something instead of Ruston who last helped me. Which when he made a new order, it kicked my delivery date back a week. So instead of helping the customer, he helped himself get commission. Didn't care at all my delivery got kicked back, just as long as his name is there that he made the sale. Even when I went back in to sign he was STILL trying to make a sale. Kept telling me I should get this and this and said some promotion about a bed topper. Well guess who got a garbage bed topper? I did. I was so frustrated and mad hearing his persistence i just said whatever, add it. I gave up at that point and just wanted out of the store. My girlfriend even went explained how mad I was to the manager and that I was only there to sign something what should of taken 20-30 minutes tops, took 2 hours since the salesman cancelled the order to re do with his name and then walked me around the store telling me to buy more and more. The manager said he'd try to get my delivery out on my original delivery day but that didn't happen. The order that was cancelled by the salesman was still processing so it showed the delivery truck full for my area. It wouldn't of been full if he wasn't waiting on my cancelled order to be processed. I'm never going back to that store. They don't care about customer satisfaction only profits.
I do not recommend buying from the store. Go to the store to pick the item you want and buy on-line. Prices including delivery are much less and you do not have to deal with the salesman trying to up-sell you warranty and rewards plans. On the plus side, delivery service was excellent and product seems to be good quality.
The quality and price was great. The salesman Pierre was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. My only complaint is that I had to drive 30 miles one way to get my mattress from the Mathis brothers warehouse. It cost me over an hour of my time, 60 milesextra to my trip and that is just idiotic on their part.
Will never shop there! I only wanted to look around and was followed relentlessly after saying four times I will get you if I have any questions or ready to buy. Then while walking away from the stalker salesman I tripped over the hundreds of rugs on the floor and the other salesman proceeded to laugh at me while saying geez slow down where's the fire? I loved the calmness of this Norman store. Though I went in 30 mimutes before closing, I was greeted cheerfully by Nicole P. She asked what I was looking for and took me right to the area of nightstands she thought would fit my request, which I bought immediately. I love the size and color. She was patient when showing me dining room tables and was very knowledgeable on what Ashley's carried. I left very satisfied and will be back! Thank you Nicole for your great customer service!

Buyer beware! I recently purchased a mattress from this store, and the entire experience was a lesson in predatory sales practices. There is NO transparency in pricing, the creepy/nice salesmen will try to make you "deals" and you will find yourself trapped in their expensive, not-at-all-worth-it rewards program. The rewards program costs $70/year and if you read the fine print, it "auto-renews" every year and there is no way to cancel the membership! Not rewarding. So far I have sent two emails, stopped by the store and called to ask that they unenroll me. Everyone I've spoken with has been rude and dismissive--zero customer service after the sale. I have always tried to support local businesses, but now I am seriously hoping some honest company comes to town and puts these creeps out of business.

We Furnished a home with all Ashley products all of them have broke bought a 3 piece leather living room suit for over 3,900 before taxes ! And paid for the extra warranty ! The day a rip came and started to dis color on the leather and did a claim they would only give us store credit us almost half of what we paid ! So why pay for the extra warranty ? What a waste of money! ***UPDATE*** few hours later they called and said there was some “miscommunication” and now going to give me store credit (which I’m happy with) for the full price we paid for the set for !
Needing a chair for my dad who is going into the Veterans nursing home Tuesday. This store in Norman wanted me to drive to OKC to pick up his chair. They were not willing to sell off the foor or make an effort to assist in meeting our needs. Tylers in Purcell is willing to sell their chairs at a reasonable price and deliver to the VETERANS center in Norman for FREE and the same day! Highly recommend the short drive to Purcell and friendly family furniture store. Sorry Ashley you lost our business.

To start this off, I want to emphasize how kind and wonderful our salesman was. Sadly, He was the only good part of our experience with Ashley HomeStore. We purchased the sofa on a Saturday evening, picked up the sofa the next morning at their earliest availability. My husband and I unload the sofa into our house to discover there is no where to attach the legs. We called customer service at the warehouse location to see if we were missing instructions. The lady seemed to have zero idea of how to help us and proceeded to tell us we would have to cut through the upholstery ourselves. Okay. That’s fine. Seemed a little odd though. My husband cut the holes to Attach both bolts to each of the four legs. We then discovered they only gave us 7 bolts. Not the required 8. We called back again. Once again they were absolutely no help. They told us it would be about a week before they could get new bolts to us in the mail...... We ended up driving to the hardware store to find bolts ourselves. Because who wants to wait a week to sit on their new sofa and have it sitting legless in the living room???? Fast forward a week. The sofa is sitting in the middle of our living room. I was doing dishes and notice a slight bend in the bottom of the frame. (Note my husband and I are not big people. I weigh about 110 and he about 180. The frame is broken. We called the next morning to file a claim. They tried to tell us it’s not covered anymore since it had been 9 days. I’m sorry, but a sofa should not break after 9 days. We are both hardly ever home. We sat on it to watch a movie maybe twice. Ashley has told us they would call Us back every day for the last week and we are done dealing with this. The lack of professionalism in conducting business is appalling. Take your money elsewhere if you want quality in your purchase and customer service. If a manager reads this, please educate your employees on communication and customer service.
Went in to look at some home decor pieces and was greeted by Tammy Garrett. I showed her what look I was going for and she made great recommendations and told me about sales going on. I never felt rushed or pressured to buy anything but came out with everything I wanted. Will definitely visit again!

Yeah I will never shop here again!! I purchased an expensive loft style bed for my daughter and not once did they tell me while I was there for an hour that the slats come separate and I needed to purchase those too so the delivery guys could set them up in the bed! Well the bed gets delivered and now I find out about the slats! So we call the store and guess what since they screwed up I have to drive 40 miles to the distribution center to get the slats! The most hilarious part is I don&'t own any tools
They arrived on time they called before they were going to be here everything. They put everything together and it was nicely done. Everything was wonderful and they were extremely pleasant and great with my two year old.
