We went to Ashley Furniture to browse and Toni let us look for awhile and then checked in on us. We found the perfect reclining couch/love seat/chair combo. She said there was a sale, and she came through for us!! She was friendly and knew her merchandise! We saved a lot! Ended up getting a coffee table and rug too!! Tonie greeted me at the door asked me what exactly what I’m looking for including colors directed me where to go and as soon as I saw a bedroom set she came up to me and told me “I knew you would like this”. Came back a few days later with my husband. Tonie was wonderful with my girls she kept them distracted while my husband and I dealt with the transaction of purchase. We were able to look through the store on our own. After being there a while we were asked if we needed help finding something. It was a comfortable shopping experience. No pressure. Be super careful when shopping here. My partner and I are a young couple shopping for our first apartment and I felt like prey walking in there. A man named Jared met us at the door, told us if we found a bed and mattress he would bundle it at a discounted rate, and we would be able to finance, which sounded great. After we started talking options with him he then added that we would have to purchase a warranty in order to get the bundle/discount. Okay, no biggie, but wish we would have known that sooner. We asked if we could think about it until Monday (today) but he said he wouldn’t be in then to give us the deal. We thought it over and decided we weren’t ready. All of a sudden he conveniently WAS going to be there on Monday to help us when we came back. Again, just didn’t feel honest up front. My partner went back in today, ready to pull the trigger, and our guy was not there. Someone else offered to help, and that was when we learned that we actually couldn’t finance unless we opened a credit card with them. So it felt like they were hiding information AGAIN. After the third strike we decided this may not be it, and we found a cheaper mattress on the actual tempurpedic website. After he left, my partner got texts and calls from Jared telling us that we must be being scammed, and we needed to go back and buy from him, but it’s hard to trust after being mislead multiple times. And to the person responding to these, I know you are locally owned and operated, but it’s not appropriate to share personal details on customers orders/experiences, which is why you’ll notice most big name companies just give an email for their customers to reach out to to make things right. I suggest you do the same.

Salesman Mac was super helpful and not pushy at all. It was one of the reasons we felt comfortable going through Ashley's. I did have to advocate for myself when it came to the pricing of the furniture. It was cheaper online than what was originally quoted to us. When we brought it to his attention, he quickly corrected our quote with no question. So far, very happy with our experience.

We purchased two mattresses in the store so that we could get the old mattresses taken away when the new mattresses were delivered. When they were delivered, we found that the drivers could not take the old mattresses away. The receipt had a charge for mattress recycling, but evidently it is added to every mattress purchase. I paid a higher buying in-store and got nothing for it. Also, the mattress covers we bought were not delivered. This was my first and will be my last purchase from Ashley.

Around Thanksgiving, I visited Ashley Furniture and spoke with Debbie Saxbury about purchasing a new bed. Debbie was very knowledgeable. She gave me the pros and cons of each model of bed. I had done my homework beforehand, and the information Debbie gave me matched the information I had researched. I told Debbie I had the daunting task of talking my husband into the purchase. There was absolutely no pressure to make a purchase that day. After Christmas I went back to Ashley’s to purchase a bed. Debbie took her time showing me each of the models again. And, again, there was no pressure to purchase one model over another. I truly appreciated being given accurate data and time to make my own choice. After the purchase, there was a slight glitch at the warehouse in the delivery date of the bed. I called Debbie, and the issue was taken care of immediately. I highly recommend seeing Debbie Saxbury at Ashley Furniture. You won’t find a better and more knowledgeable salesperson anywhere!

If I could rate this place zero stars I would! Pay attention to these people when going in and looking at furniture. I signed a piece of paper stating they could do a background check on my credit that was all!!! Mind you great credit. They knew that. One of the workers signed me up for a credit card for 1000$ without my consent!!! Nor signature. Vultures if you ask me didn’t find out till it showed up on my credit that I had “opened another credit card”

Stopped in to pull the trigger on a sofa and love seat wet had been considering. Got stuck with Gentry. Cutting to the chase, Gentry gave a discounted price and offered free delivery to our home. We agreed. He then tried to add a $399 warranty without us agreeing. We refused. He then tried saying we can't buy the couches at the discounted black Friday prices of we didn't buy his warranty. Said if we didn't, the price goes up $300 and no free delivery. We refused and left. A week later, after him calling to beg us to come back, he activated our store card without our permission and opened an account! We now have an ashley account we didn't approve opening and keep getting calls from the dude whom tried to manipulate US. We went to their store in Roseburg to be taken care of. STAY AWAY FROM GENTRY! THAT OLD DUDE IS SHADY AS HELL!

I was by far a total pain in the ass customer but Malcom helped me and was so patient! I went back 4x, took measurements, borrowed pillows to check colors, and changed my mind several times. However each time Malcom assured me it was fine. In the end I bought EXACTLY the couch I needed and even an accent chair to go with it. The accent chair came from another set which they separated off the floor for me. Huge thank you!!

Keri was very helpfu l helping find the right sectional for my home. I was moving to Oregon and needed a sofa. I went in to check things out on 7/14. I didn't buy right away b/c I wasn't going to be Medford until 9/15. I called her at the end of August and she remembered me. She made the process of ordering and paying over the phone. I purchased the Larce 5 piece sectional. She schedule delivery for when I get to my new home. I couldn't be happier with the customer service and all pleasant Keri and the customer service representative that assisted in obtaining my new sectional. If you go the Medford store see Keri- She's great!

I had a pleasant experience but my Bedroom set at Ashley Furniture the salesperson was very helpful and accommodating and I got my furniture within a week.

Place is a rip off do not buy here they lie about how the warranty is and expect you to drive 5 hours when you've only had the chair for 6 months you have it fixed when they promise they would come to your home and just because the salesman didn't know what he was doing and made false promises they think that's okay and they messed up my whole warranty information put it underneath somebody's name and gave me all their personal information just so I can log in and change it the response was lies the salesperson reassured me over and over

The delivery team did a fantastic job. The elevator was out and they carried up a couch three flights of stairs. No questions asked- amazing.

My partner and I just purchased a beautiful new sofa from Ashley. The price was very reasonable and considering the price range, the build quality appears very good. We were both extremely impressed with the sales associate we worked with, Malachy. He was friendly and informative, not at all pushy or pressuring. He gave us plenty of space to peruse the sofa selection at our leisure. He checked in the perfect amount, making good-humored jokes that set us at ease. The in-store service in every way has been great, BUT there is a serious problem with the online service system which is completely disconnected with the in store service to where, our attempts to make purchases online resulted in a complete inability to process the purchase and the inability for the local store is completely disconnected from being able to assist in the process. I hope that in the future you as a business to customer connection needs leaves a lot to be desired and needs to be fixed because it is broken.The photo is really not relevant

Again, ONLY BECAUSE of Jordan, have I raised my review up to 3 stars. UPDATE 3 March 22nd, 2025 @ 3:34pm. Keri called me. She obviously didn't know that Jordan had called and made things right. She kept saying that her manager had just told her that she could refund all my money "right now." She kinda apologized but never really took ownership for her behavior, but it seemed like she was placing the blame onto someone else. I told her Jordan had called me personally, and that it was too late now because the family emergency I had was in regards to my mom. I was the only one out of 4 daughters who couldn't & didn't make it in time to see her in time. UPDATE 2 ONLY BECAUSE of Jordan, have I raised my review up to 3 stars. March 21st @ 1:07pm Jordan the store manager called me personally, said he had seen my review (I believe he said on his day off), had asked another manager to reach out to me (which didn't happen). Jordan apologized, took responsibility for they way things happened, and gave me a couple of choices, which included canceling my order & refunding the whole amount, or I could still have the dressers delivered, and he would refund the delivery charge. I appreciated Jordan professionalism, kindness, and the fact that he personally reached out to me to correct the situation. I have chosen to have the dressers delivered. UPDATE: I have now dropped this down to a 1-star review. March 20th, 2025 @ 1:49pm I called to see when my items might be delivered (since I hadn't gotten a call in regards to scheduling) The lady who answered the phone (after asking for my name) said that everything was in and some one should be calling in the next few days. I said that my paperwork said tentative home delivery 03/21/2025. She said mmhmm - goodbye and hung up. March 19th, 2025 @ 12:39pm Keri did reach out after seeing my review. I unfortunately wasn't able to answer when she called. She did leave a message. I would have liked to have given a 5 star review. The day we purchased a couple of dressers, everyone was great, very friendly and professional. But then the attitude I received when I called to see if I could cancel my order because of a family emergency was shocking, rude, and very unprofessional. When my call was forwarded to Keri (at the Crater Lake Highway Medford, OR location) she was very rude on the phone, gave me attitude, and told me that "all sales were final", but she would pass on a message to her manager who was helping unload a truck and that she would make sure he got the message. I never got a call from said manager. PER THEIR PAPERWORK, yes it does say that all sales are final, BUT right after that, it says "Any cancelations and/or returns will be charged a 25% cancelation fee. We do not accept returns after 48 hours from receipt of product. (We still haven't received the items purchased) So I should have been able to cancel. After seeing a dresser and nightstand i liked online, I went into the store to see if it was in stock. It wasn't but the staff was so helpful and they ordered it for me, saving me shipping costs.Beyond their professional help, they were so fun to chat with while we worked on the order. We actually have had some very bad experiences in Ashley with employees following us too closely around the store and didn’t want to come back even though we have purchased a bed several years ago. Brad was very helpful didn’t attack us when we came through the front door and allowed us to take a pillow home to see if it would match our chairs. Not only if you have great customer service with him at the Personal designer in the store Angelic was also amazing and so helpful. I think the local store might have made a transition and how they do business. We are very excited for our new couch to arrive in less than three weeks.

UPDATE: after reviving a call from the distribution center on 2/24, all was done 3/1. Its too bad they use the excuse of the wrong phone number when they clearly have my cell and work. Oh, delivery likes to text and not call. Found text messages in spam, but never on dates they said they called. When you call and leave a message, don't you prefer a call back? Oh well. Ordered living room furniture in November Veterans Day weekend. Was told would receive a call to deliver Thanksgiving week. No call. Called in several times and finally got someone who said i was contacted on November 11th and again the 21st for delivery. I was not called to schedule delivery until i called pressing for delivery. When delivery day finally came, one piece couldn't fit through the door, so I went into the store and did a replacement order that would fit better. After several phone calls, the second order finally came. As my husband and I both watched, the delivery guy dropped it out of the delivery truck onto the ground. He said he would tell his boss and took pictures and I would receive a call. I received a call that day, December 26th, about next steps, replacing the piece. Guess what I am still waiting on? I called the front desk twice with no call returned (seems to be their motto). At this point I don't want the piece replaced. I've been waiting over a month. Just discount the piece and call it good. I mean, i can't even claim warranty on it because you guys damaged it. Just someone call me back and make it right. My sales guy was great. My 3/1 delivery guys were great and glad to see distribution make some changes to their delivery teams.

I unfortunately will not be recommending Ashley furniture to anyone one!! I have purchased 2 sets of sectionals; the first one was years ago and we had a great experience and awesome sectional! So we decided to go back and update our sectional since we were so satisfied with Ashley’s in the years past. We went in December 26th found exactly what we were looking for! Placed the order, were told we’d be receiving before January 13th! Today is February 4th and still nothing! Not once have we received a phone call apologizing for the delay or given any sort of update! I have called myself (twice) and was given new dates, which till this day have not been met. Absolutely horrible service at this point I just want my money back to take my service elsewhere.

Laugh and say the online orders lie about delivery dates then laugh again. Not a way to handle customers. I left several messages for a call back. Never received one. Finally after several attempts someone an actual person answered the laughed at my delivery not being the day the email said it would be. Yeah real funny to schedule a day off miss out on wages then have it not be the day. Then get a time slot of 4 hour delivery. Do better.

I purchased a recliner and paid for them to deliver it and set it up. I didn’t realize it had been set up without any legs until it started scratching and marring my laminate flooring. I went to the store in person to talk with the manager And was assured somebody would get back to me in two days. It is now been over a week. I waited four days and when nobody had contacted me, I have since given them three phone calls and left messages all three times and still nobody has contacted me. They are obviously ghosting me. So now I have a defective chair with no recourse but to toss it out. Future buyers, be wary! Any future furniture purchases I make will be done at any store but Ashley!

Do not buy your furniture at the Medford store! I purchased a recliner there, and it was delivered and set up without any legs! I have visited the store, and was assured that somebody would get back to me within two days. It is now been over a week, I have had no word from them. I have since called and left three messages for somebody to call me and nobody has contacted me. Obviously, they are ghosting me. So now I have a defective chair, with the metal sitting directly on my laminate floors and scratching the heck out of my floors. And I evidently have no recourse, except to dump the thing and purchase a new one. But I’ll guarantee you one thing, I will not purchase anything at the Ashley store in Medford OR.

My husband and I were looking for a new bed. Debbie explained everything so well; she really knows her stuff! I had a lovely experience at Ashley Furniture store in Medford Oregon with a beautiful young lady who waited on me. She was very knowledgeable and very real and I just enjoyed her company very much and she helped me with what I was looking for. She had given me a pillow to take back and see if the colors worked.I really appreciated that then I brought it back to her and we sat and talked and just really enjoyed her she is a very very interesting and bright woman knows her business so so well that I will continually go back into that store anytime I need anything. I worked with Tyler, who was great, Terry and Jordan the managers were terrific and really got us out of a bind for my 80 year old mother allowing us to return her chair and get her a really nice comfortable bed after she had hip surgery. The only reason it's not a 5 star has everything to do with pricing and not service. I mean come on man, why so high on some of this stuff? The gouging in this country is out of control. According to consumer reports investigation it costs about 300 dollars to manufacturer a tempur pedic yet they sale then for 1500, 1700 and sometimes and high as 4000 or 5000 grand. Hopefully this is her last bed because I won't be spending this much again. This guy will sleep on the floor before he pays that much.

Extremely disappointed with customer service, communication, and follow through. We purchased a dining table with chairs and a mattress a couple of weeks ago. We're told delivery would be today, October 14th. After hearing nothing since the purchase date I called this morning to confirm and determine a time frame for delivery. I was sent to the distribution center to leave a message with no returned call, twice. The third time I called and let them know I just needed information and was told we actually were not on the schedule and though our items are all sitting in the warehouse, we would now have to wait until the end of the week for our items to be delivered as there were no trucks available any sooner to deliver to us. The fact that there has been ZERO communication since the date of purchase and the only way I have found anything out is by calling multiple times only to be told sorry too bad but you'll have to wait longer while we sit on your items in the warehouse, is very frustrating. Already felt a little like dollar signs when making our purchases but now feel even more so. Highly dissatisfied!

I purchased an outdoor sofa from Ashley in 2021 - they charged me about $100 more than the advertised price, but it was in stock, and I wanted an outdoor couch for summer. The sofa was slightly damaged during shipping, but it was still usable after I made a minor repair. During winter 2023-24 the cushions were carried off by a bear and destroyed. I called Ashley twice and left messages at "parts", but I did not get a return call. The third time I called the general number and had them leave a message for "parts" - that finally resulted in a call back and I ordered (and paid for) new cushions from Ashley on July 11, 2024. I was told that they would arrive in 4-6 weeks - not good but I went ahead with the order anyway. On August 6, I emailed to see when the cushions might arrive. They wrote back that they were scheduled to arrive August 22 (exactly six weeks from the order date) and that they would keep me updated. On August 23, after hearing nothing more from Ashley, I emailed again and when I got no response to that email, I called on August 28, and was told that they were scheduled to arrive on September 10, but that was only an estimate. Two months or more to ship a few cushions for a sofa that is still a standard item in the store and on the website is not acceptable customer service. At this point I am doubting that I will ever get the cushions. Now, for me, Ashley represents low quality products and poor service. Within an hour of posting the above review a local representative from Ashley called to apologize for the delays and and to offer to bring some cushions from a store about 100 miles away that had a matching sofa in stock. They brought them a couple of days later. That is the kind of quality service I expect from someone who wants my business. The original review that I wrote got the attention of local store management and that is what drew the response - so writing reviews can improve your own experience and hopefully future customers experience and lead to better store policies, procedures and performance. The local staff were helpful and friendly. The color of the new seat cushions are a very good color match with the 3 year back cushions - so very little fade. Consequently, I have amended my review for 1 star to 3 stars.

Worst experience ever buying a couch. Approved me for a loan on a sold discontinued couch but waited until after to tell me. After over an hour of looking for a LEATHER couch. The salesman found one online, come to find out after ordering it’s 100% faux leather. He also said because of them trying to sell me a sold couch he would throw in a 5 year warranty. He actually just charged me full price for it and when I went back and asked he said he discounted the couch to make up for it. Went online and he actually overcharged me almost $100 each which they honored the price match after the fact but was still charged for warranty. Also kept treating me like I couldn’t afford a leather couch when I repeatedly said the price isn’t an issue. Said the faux leather is better trying to convince me to just stick with the cheaper couch. I was set on getting leather and he completely ruined everything and now I’m stuck with a $3,400 set of couches that won’t last more than a year. According to him faux leather lasts 7-10 years with pets and kids. Felt worse than a car dealer ship.

Saturday my brother and I went to Ashley’s Medford and bought a really nice couch from the scratch and dent section. No scratches and no dents. Really nice soft chenille in a really pretty grey blue. And comfortable to sit on. I can’t wait to see it in my home this week. Great price too.

Went into the store with the intention to browse around for a potential new couch. We had Jason G greet us as soon as we walked in and he helped us look around as well as answer any questions or concerns we had. We ended up choosing the perfect couch for our home, As well as a new mattress for my bad back. Along with a couple extra goodies. Jason G was very polite and went above and beyond to make sure that we were satisfied with what we got.

Ordered my daughter a new bed & nightstand the delivery was about a week late and then when set up I went to take a look and noticed the foot board was dented and then 1 piece of wood missing and they didn't say a word just left so I had to call set up getting a new one which took another 2 weeks to come in and then another half week to get on schedule to swap out. The delivery charge is something like $169 and they didn't really offer to do anything to fix it so I said I think I should get back half the fee for all the problems and then they said only would be willing to give me $50 back. Definitely don't let them leave before checking the furniture.

Everyone is very helpful and friendly then it all stops after the purchase. We will not buy from here again, no return calls even from management so we had to walk back into the store. The store sent the replacement part to our house and we haven't heard from them since. Lousy service!

Super friendly staff. Our furniture was in stock so it was delivered in just 2 days! The experience all around was great! Thank you to the delivery guys, Jason and the sweet lady! Thanks to the finance guy too! The only bummer is if you’re self employed you don’t get their in house financing and gotta use Progressive financing. We love our new couch n loveseat so far though!

I was told by my local Ashley store about the outlet and how great it was. It was in a back room and not much of a selection when I went. Very disappointing. Not worth the trip. There was a nice selection of furniture on the main floor, just not what we were looking for

LOVE this store! They have the BEST customer service and sales staff! Highly recommend buying furniture from this location. AND it is locally owned. They have a solid selection of choices. Beautiful and clean showroom. They will honor their company's website prices, but several items are actually lower in price than the website.
