DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE! Their delivery time is OUTRAGEOUS!!!!! They estimated 6-8 weeks delivery but it&'s been 9 weeks and we have been calling for weeks with no callback, no set delivery date, the manager, goodness gracious is never around! Their sales associate don&'t have any information, not sure how they manage to be employed there and they have HORRIBLE PHONE ETIQUETTE!!! It&'s not worth their price either, $200 for a throw, you serious?!! Just find another furniture store, don&'t buy here!!!! Save your money. Go somewhere else.
Good, bad or otherwise. Communication is very important to me. As you know, my house burned down(not stated for sympathy, but a background reason for the shopping experience) so we ordered a HOUSE FULL of furniture from Ashley in Medford in the first week of October. At the time of the order we were told everything would be here by now. There had been multiple phone calls with no response, do on Sunday we went into the store and tried to find out what was going on. We were promised we would have a couch at least by Friday (not the original one we ordered, that was put off until March, we had to settle for something else) everything else on the order was put off until mid January. After speaking with the assistant manager, Mike, we agreed to go with the couch we could have by Friday and be patient with everything else. He knew I was extremely upset and PROMISED it would be no other issues with Communication. Monday calls were made with no answer, same thing on Tuesday. Finally yesterday, we got a hold of Mike again and he acted totally clueless about anything. We canceled our order and went to Furniture Row and met Denis, who was great and placed a new order for the house full of furniture. My couches would have been delivered today, but because we went after I go off work at 7, it couldn&'t be scheduled until Friday.
Really nice furniture but costs a bit much for those of us laid off from Covid. Also I found it frustrating that 2 circulating sales people didn&'t have correctly fitting masks- their mouths were covered but not their noses. Really?
BUYER BEWARE! Had a terrible experience with Ashley Furniture. We lost our home in the Campfire in Northern California 11/8/2018. I say this not looking for sympathy, but to make it clear that I am not normally in the financial situation to walk in and buy a bedroom suite, not to mention all the other furniture that I purchased June of 2019 at Ashley. I was working from my insurance coverage, trying to rebuild my family&'s life. I specifically told the salesman, Jordan, that I wanted solid wood only ( I was advised by a friend of mine who is a designer that not all new furniture is solid wood and to be sure to tell the salesman) I trusted him to show me only solid wood and after confirming it with the first few pieces I felt he was clear that was what I was looking for. The last thing I picked out was bedroom furniture. Delivery took a long time for the bedroom furniture. After several months it became clear that the bedroom furniture was not solid wood. With several calls back and forth the first response was that it was too late to change. The final response was that I purchased the furniture so it was on me. He justified it by saying it is wood. Different wood&'s sawdust that has been re-formed with some kind of glue or chemical and made into furniture. His definition of solid wood is significantly different than mine. So far I have had a problem with the chest of drawers, a misaligned drawer, they did come and correct the drawer glide. The night stand had a problem also, the finish bubbled up all over it, they replaced it, took about 6 weeks I sent pictures to Customer Service on 1/15/2020, just received the nightstand today. I find the finish to be very porous, anything at all will stain the finish. I am completely unsatisfied with the purchase of this bedroom furniture. I will not shop there again and will not recommend them to anyone. I feel this is a very unethical business.
My wife and I stopped in here to furnish our new home for when it&'s completed in 2020. We took a tour and one of the reps showed us the different styles and displays they had to offer. The new location in the old Costco building is so nice. It feels clean, and comfortable. We didn&'t end up purchasing on our window shopping trip, but had a good experience while we were there. I think the best part was that one of the light features we were looking at was really overpriced in my opinion. And the rep pointed out that a crafty person may be able to make a similar feature at home. I also enjoyed that they can recognize that there is move for negotiation.
Great service at the store itself. My wife and I purchased a couch and were helped by Gentry. We love our couch however when we picked it up from the warehouse and lugged it home- we found it had a hole in the back. Luckily, it&'s not noticeable due to positioning in our house. It was too much of a hassle to find time out of our busy schedules to pick it up in the first place and didn&'t want to go another 5-6 weeks for a new piece to replace section with hole
We&'ve shopped at Ashley for a few years now. They have quite an extensive selection for the Rogue Valley. But really, more than that, the salesperson Debbie is the reason why we keep going back. She took the time to let us wander around on our own to check everything out, then she patiently sat with us to chat about how the financing would work without pressuring us into a rash decision. I&'m a thinker and very much appreciated how Debbie gave us the space we needed, while being attentive enough to answer the questions we had. We bought a sofa and loveseat from her a few years ago and then went back to her for a bed with an adjustable base. We&'ve spent several thousands of dollars with Ashley furniture because Debbie Saxbury seriously knows how to relate to her customers.
My friend and I went to Ashley for a sofa, and ended up with a sofa, two beautiful chairs, and an area rug! Debbie was fantastic to work with -- she knew the whole store&'s inventory well, and steered us away from something we were considering in favor of something that ended up working much better. She showed us how an area rug would really pull the pieces together and finish the room. Everything was delivered on time and in good condition. Thank you, Debbie!
When did furniture shopping get bumped up to the list included in Used Car shopping?I can say for sure, I found the most comfortable recliner that I have ever had the opportunity to sit in. And to the Salesman&'s credit, he was actually able to keep a straight face when stating that we could actually &"Buy one and GET ONE FREE&". Well how about that! If we purchased this amazing chair, they would throw another one in.As tempted as I was, and believe me, I was tempted. I took his card and said I needed to think about it. The cost of the ONE recliner? $1, 238.00 More than our house payment. I took a photo of the stock number and description.What did I find? The same exact chair on Amazon for .....drumroll please $493.99. Did I mention free shipping?Ashley was willing to get it to my door, however it would tack over 100.00 more to the total.So was this actually &"buy one get one free&"?Or was it buy TWO and we will smile at you as you walk out the door with &"sucker&" posted to your shirt.Did I purchase a recliner? Or two? I was actually wanting a &"pair&" of recliners. And I may have been willing to pay the inflated price. However, even though it was probably the most comfortable chair my old fanny has ever sat in....I pass. Ashley....Your furniture can actually sell itself. However, public opinion? That is something worth more than its weight in gold. No sale.
I went in to look for chairs. The lady was so nice and helpful. I decided to come back later an purchase the chairs , after work. I was late. When I came back I went right up to the counter an told them what I was after an who had helped me that morning. She had left for the day. After 20min waiting to check out I was told by a lady manager,it would be 20 or so more minutes cause someone was a head of me. No one was around only me. They were trying to qualify a lady. I saw she was approved for 3,000 but they couldn&'t get it to go through. How rude. I was not important to them at all. I left an never will go back. Also if you see something there you like, you can go to their website an get it way cheeper. That&'s what I did.
