I went in looking for a very specific style dinning set. Not thinking that Ashley would have what I wanted but stopped to check anyway. They did not have what I wanted. BUT, Cory led me to Josh. Josh told me of two other companies that might have what I wanted. Both companies had exactly what I wanted. I was very surprised that a salesman what give me info about other companies. But, also very smart on their part. As they did not have what I wanted. I was not going to buy at Ashley anyway. But, in the future when I need a new couch and recliner I will go back to Corey and Josh at Ashley. I can trust them to sell me exactly what I need/want. :) Thank you Josh and Corey!

Cory at Ashley’s in Clackamas is the best! I was ready to buy a bed online, but I called the store and Cory took care of everything. He’s super friendly and saved me more money than I expected by getting me a better-than-online deal. Go see him for your next furniture purchase!

I worked with Georgetta, she was very kind and helpful. Brandon the manager was also very helpful. Key Home Furnishings, although a sweet lady I worked with there, would or could not bargain at all. I guess manager wants full price, Brandon did do many reductions in price, for the amount of furniture that I needed to buy, because we all know furniture does have a big up charge. I will definitely come back to Ashley Furniture in Tigard. I would strongly ask for Georgetta. New employee but knew what I wanted and needed when I explained everything to her. Thanks Ashley Furniture. Only disappointment is that some pieces are 14 weeks out and some were 3 weeks out. Only time and patience, but I will have everything very soon.

Review: A Total Transformation for Our Family Room! We recently visited Ashley Furniture looking for a way to upgrade our living space, and I cannot recommend this team enough. Our family room has been completely revolutionized by our new sectional couch. It has turned our main living area into the ultimate relaxation zone. The entire experience was seamless, thanks to two standout professionals: Elena (Sales): From the moment we walked in, Elena was incredible. She wasn’t pushy at all; instead, she listened to exactly what we needed for our space and helped us navigate the options until we found "the one." Her eye for design and friendly personality made the selection process a total breeze. She was also very patient with my indecisiveness while I tried to make my decision. If I could give this location a zero I would this place is full of unprofessional workers as well as horrible management LISA such a disrespectful manger has zero professionalism her employee Elena lied to be me about our credit card fooled me into opening a credit card with misinformation Later when I find it, I called the store to figure things out. They tell me it’s not the corporation anymore so She can’t help me yet it’s her employee who still works there who gave all this misinformation someone needs to look into this location I don’t understand how Lisa is still a manager here with that attitude, disrespect and not professional at all. I would take my business elsewhere, not worth the stress.

Mark is an incredible person who truly understands what his customers need when purchasing furniture for a new home. He is very knowledgeable and knows his job well. My partner and I purchased a very expensive sofa from this store on November 24th. We were told we would be contacted in 7-10 days for delivery. An entire month went by and we had heard nothing so I called today to inquire and I was told that we never should have been sold that sofa because it was being discontinued and therefore would not be delivered. I was taken aback, and the person I was speaking to suggested they may be able to sell us the pieces we ordered from their sectional floor model and we hung up so that she could check on that. Shortly after, Gina, the sales rep who sold us the sofa, called back and said they would be unable to sell us the floor model because they couldn't split up the pieces. My partner took over and tried to fight them on this because they promised us a product, took our money for that product, then essentially held our money for an entire month and though they have the product we purchased, they are refusing to deliver it to us. The experience was horrible from start to finish, and the manager we spoke to was incredibly rude and hung up on my partner as she was trying to request a refund. We are going to be opening a case against this store with the FCC and contacting corporate. Don't give this business your time or money.

I had a great in-store experience, the older gal who helped me and my partner buy a sofa and loveseat was wonderful, very kind and great customer service. When I had to follow up over the phone, however, the woman I spoke with from customer service had an attitude with me. I didn’t appreciate the way she spoke to me and her tone didn’t change until I thanked her for helping me.

Kevin was very helpful when I went to look at a leather sectional couch that was in the back warehouse. I had purchased it sight unseen at the Tigard store the day before but wanted to sit on it and try out the electric recliner before having it delivered. He had to chase down extension cords and get another person to help set it up because of the small cramped dark space it was in back in the warehouse, but they did it and I was grateful to be able to try it out before setting up the delivery. Thank you for your help that day and thank you to the delivery scheduling gal that helped to make sure my delivery happened on the day it was scheduled.

I don’t leave negative reviews, but this is the WORST couch we’ve ever had or sat on. AVOID ASHLEY AT ALL COSTS. my partner bought a couch from Ashley 4 years ago and it’s great! so we decided to get another from them. this couch has gone downhill FAST. it has deteriorated worse in 5 months than his old couch has in 4 years. we bought in June, and it is 5 months later and it is pilling EVERYWHERE, the seat cushions are completely flattened and there’s giant gaps between them. my legs go numb after sitting on it for too long, it’s like sitting on wood covered in itchy, poorly made, fabric. it’s also creaking already. technician came out and said that it is a subpar couch and poorly made, but that Ashley will say it’s normal ware. as of now I cannot recommend Ashley furniture at all and would suggest to stay away. pending the resolution and the outcome, it might be a different story, but they are not a good company to work with or buy from. pictures speak for themselves, the amount of pilling on this is couch is ridiculous.

I purchased my cream microfiber couch from Ashley Furniture in Clackamas with the help of Julie Owen, and I couldn’t be happier. The couch was incredibly soft, surprisingly sturdy, and lasted me 10 years while staying remarkably clean during to the quality of the material. Julie’s excellent assistance made the buying process easy, and her guidance helped me choose a couch that fit my home perfectly. Highly recommend both the product and her service.

One of the most shadiest furniture stores in Portland. They will tell you everything you want to hear to make the sale. The furniture itself is ikea quality. Don’t waste your time shopping here and remember not to trust the sales people.

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with a company. They delivered my furniture damaged, I have sent emails and called them off the hook and left messages. They will not answer or call me back and customer service won’t help since they’re a franchise. Drawers won’t even shut all the way. Not the customer service I’d expect from a large reputable company.

We were just browsing but thanks to Jim Berry we ended up finding our dream couch. He was so helpful and incredibly knowledgeable about all the furniture. He was not pushy and really gave us a personalized experience to get a sofa that fits our needs. He was so great that he made me want to buy all my future furniture from Ashley.

I wish I can give this a negative star. Lisa, the store manager from Ashley furniture at Clackamas, was rude and unhelpful. We went to the store to look for a new couch. Rob, the salesman, helped us pick a beautiful couch. I specially told Rob that we live in a townhouse, so the couch needs to be fit through the stairs. Rob promised that it will fit, and it comes in small boxes and their delivery man can help us carry up and assemble it. The only down side is to wait 4 weeks shipping. So I agreed with the order and willing to wait patiently. On the day of delivery, the delivery guy came with a pre-assembled couch and that won’t fit our staircase. I asked if they can carry small parts one at a time, but they said the couch already nailed and glued together, can’t break apart. They can’t carry up, so they can only cancel the order. I went to the store to ask for assistance, Lisa was so rude to us. She ignore of complaint and said they won’t refund us the shipping and charge us additional 20% restock fee. She said we can try to pick another couch at the store and finger-cross that it will fit. I tried to explain that her staff give us wrong information leading us making the wrong choice. She totally ignore me and said nothing she can do about it. It is our problem that our staircase too narrow. I want to address the problem with the salesman in the store so we can resolve the issue, but she said I can email her the complaint and she address it later. I’m at the store talking to her, and yet she wanted me to email her and she will address later on and give me a call back whenever she can. This place is full of unprofessional staffs.

Jamal helped us find the perfect recliner! He was a joy to work with, he made a typically overwhelming process very fun and seamless. Super helpful, engaging, and informative. We couldn’t recommend him more!

Worst experience ever! I ordered a dining room table in August 2025. It was delivered (extra $99) in September 2025. Delivery people noted the table was DAMAGED on delivery. They put in a service order and told me to do so as well. I called right away and service tech was to be here Oct 8. No show, no call, I waited all day. Called back and new date was October 15th, no show, no call. I called back again and got October 31st. Same thing happened. This time I called and asked them to come get the damaged table, they gave me a return number. Today, November 7th, they called and said they will be picking up the table on November 15th. No apology, no regret. Do you think they will show up?

I had a wonderful experience with Cory at Ashley Furniture. I went in looking for a specific sofa, and he took me straight to it and showed off all the bells and whistles immediately. He was clear, straightforward, and willing to fight for the best price. I don’t have a lot of time as a busy mom, so I appreciate the expediency. I was in and out in 30 minutes with a new sofa! I would happily go there again!

I usually can’t stand furniture shopping, but Julie Owen completely changed that. She made buying my new couch super easy and actually enjoyable. She was friendly, helpful, and never pushy. DO NOT get a furniture protection plan here. They use GBS/protect all. There's so many loop holes in the contracts where they can refuse pretty much any claim.

I called to reschedule delivery and received a dry bad customer service by Lisa, she was not helpful at all and just told me right away that my fee was going to be $189 to reschedule delivery instead of $50. Very bad customer service skills.

If I could give a zero star rating, I would. When our couch was delivered two months ago, it was broken on delivery. After a series of calls and two weeks later, we had someone return to look at the couch only to tell us it was likely damaged before delivery (we already knew that) and they had to order a part. Two weeks later we received the part and called to schedule it to be replaced. Two weeks after that we received a call that they needed to reschedule. Here we are two more weeks later and they called again claiming they need to reschedule AGAIN.... We have a couch that was broken on-delivery by Ashley, not us; and yet it's still not fixed. That's over too months after buying our brand new *broken* couch. Their customer service is unresponsive and they do not follow up...

Right now, I would give 0 stars. Ashley has the chance to change that though. Here’s my story: Went to the new Ashley Furniture HomeStore on SW Bonita Road in Tigard, OR and am now wishing I read the Yelp or Google reviews beforehand. Was given the hard sell at the time, but still picked out exactly what we wanted. Was assured by store staff that excellent communication would ensue leading up to delivery. Got two calls confirming delivery day and delivery time window. Got another call narrowing it further on delivery day - Yay! Then, surprise! I received a call that today “might not happen” and if we could reschedule, and “oh, by the way” one of the pieces is damaged and am I willing to accept it!?!?!? I am on the verge of cancelling my order and will loudly join the chorus of “Do not shop at Ashley” very soon if this is not fixed. So far, caveat emptor for sure. If you are thinking about going to the newest location in Tigard, be forewarned, but I will happily update my post if they course correct (or not).

This has been the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had with a brand name furniture store. First, they delivered the wrong sectional on the scheduled delivery date. When I called to resolve the issue, instead of offering support, the representative made me feel like it was my fault and that I had ordered the wrong item. A few days later, I received both a call and a text from Ashley Furniture confirming a second delivery date. I waited at home for three hours, only to find out that it wasn’t a real delivery — despite the notification coming directly from them. When I called customer service again, the representative I spoke to was extremely rude and dismissive. She informed me that the sectional was on backorder and insisted there was no way it was being delivered on the date I had been told. When I asked her to look into the notification I received, she refused and told me I could “just wait and see.” This entire experience has been unacceptable — from the incorrect delivery to the poor communication and unprofessional treatment. I will not be doing business with Ashley Furniture again.

Jeanna was amazing, and was half the reason we ended up buying a couch from Ashley. She was warm and welcoming, talked us through our options on the couch we came in to see, showed us some other options that weren’t originally on our list but were strong contenders, and was so sweet when we came back in after checking out another store. She ended up suggesting another option for building the couch that would get us the same result we wanted but for a couple hundred cheaper. I will absolutely check out Ashley next time I need to buy furniture because of this amazing experience. There was no pressure to the situation and her experience as a salesperson shows in how easily she sold us the couch. I definitely recommend her if you’re looking for an expert salesperson to show you all your options and gently guide you through the sales process.

Place an online order and scheduled with Grace for 6/5/2025 and was informed I would receive a call the day before with a delivery window. I did not receive a call or delivery so I called and spoke to Terri who stated Grace did not complete my scheduled delivery properly and rescheduled me for next saturday. I asked Terri if I could get a credit or a comp for their mistake who said no because its a mistake that happens to often. Clearly if this happens too often and affecting customer service this is something that should have been fixed. I would not recommend Ashley Furniture Clackamas after this experience.

EDITING MY REVIEW: My original in store experience can be read below (which was great). Adding a part regarding delivery. The customer service of this store when calling them regarding delivery was some of the worse service I’ve ever gotten. The lady was rude and annoyed and was busy telling me that I need to be available all day for the delivery when I said that the provided 3 hour window for delivery does not work for me. Just reschedule the delivery, as that is an option! Who has a free day for deliveries when you have a job? The tone of this woman and her scolding me that I was not available, was extremely unprofessional. Someone needs to monitor this store’s calls and train the people to do better. I am giving the review more for Elena who works there than the store. Elena was exceptional at helping and had a great balance when to let us shop and when to help us. Everything was very natural and smooth. The store was fine too. Offered many options for what we were looking for.

I had a great experience with a sales associate on the floor who was kind, helpful, and patient. However, that changed when we encountered a system error during checkout and had to go to the customer service desk for assistance.The employee there, Kevin who I later found out is a manager was shockingly unprofessional. He was visibly disrespectful toward the sales associate, making faces, speaking condescendingly, and clearly trying to belittle her in front of me. It was uncomfortable and completely inappropriate. When I addressed it and asked for the manager, I was stunned to learn it was him. I told him directly that no one should treat their coworkers that way, especially in front of customers. It was disappointing to see someone in a leadership role behave so poorly. This experience overshadowed what should have been a positive interaction, and I sincerely hope the company addresses how their leadership treats staff, especially those doing their jobs respectfully and professionally. I don’t want to support a place where leaders feel the need to tear down their employees instead of uplifting them. No one deserves to be treated that way, especially not someone who was doing her job with professionalism and grace.

I don’t like being hounded when I go out and shop, Cory was super low pressure and gave us plenty of space. He answered all of our questions thoroughly. We will definitely recommend him to family and friends.

We bought a bedroom set from this store and they delivered it all damaged. They were supposed to deliver it again, but the same bad furniture arrived. We waited a third time because they said new furniture would come and it arrived the same. This is disrespectful to the customer. Terrible Experience – Stay Away! I wish I could give 0 stars!! This furniture store is extremely unprofessional and rude, especially the manager Daniel who never returns calls. Every time we’ve had an issue (which has been constant), we’ve had to physically go to the store just to get a response. Even when we’re there, she’s apparently busy on her phone instead of helping us. Customer service is clearly not a priority here! We purchased a brand new dining table set and have had it delivered multiple times – first time it was a clearly used item, complete with a yellow return sticker and personal information from the previous buyer. They didn’t even bother to cover it up – totally unacceptable. The second time was still chipped and damaged. Instead of making things right, they’re now refusing to issue a full refund and are insisting on a 20% restocking fee. Why should I be paying a restocking fee for USED, damaged items? I paid for new furniture – not returned damaged furniture I never agreed to accept in the first place. The only decent part of this experience was Robin, the salesman, who was respectful and genuinely tried to help. But we didn’t spend our money to get damaged furniture and deal with this level of disrespect, the overall experience was a nightmare. I absolutely DO NOT recommend buying from this store. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. There are better, more professional furniture stores out there that respect your time, money, and expectations.

We had a wonderful experience at this store working with Cory Rogers! He was helpful and attentive but didn’t pressure us at all! We ended up purchasing a sofa and loveseat, and Cory even helped to facilitate a faster delivery than the store told us. I would highly recommend this Ashley store.

We purchased furniture from this location on 2/2/25. It is 4/10/25 today and we are still missing half of our order. We were told the turnaround time was two weeks. So far we have had three deliveries. The first time they did not have the railings to build our bed, they refused to take back the incorrect nightstand, and brought the incorrect mattress and box spring. Second delivery was the railings to complete our bedroom, take back the incorrect nightstand and mattress. Third delivery was one of the two chairs we ordered. Each time it had to be US who reached out to the store to find out about an update. To which we found out that our sales rep was having it shipped to a warehouse in Salem. Not to mention our sales rep ordered a full size mattress and box spring for the queen sized bedroom set we bought. We received our bedroom furnitures with chips and scratches. Not to mention that the store manager has not done anything to compensate us for the chips and scratches on the furniture nor the poor timing. I will be reaching out to the better business bureau for resolve seeing as how the company has made no efforts. Damaged furniture for 6k Update: ten weeks in and we are on our fourth delivery from them. Still pending a mattress and a chair. Absolutely ridiculous.

Customer service in store is lacking. Went in to attempt to purchase an piece of furniture we had seen on their website. It was not at this particular location (understandable) I had found a piece that fit the bill but was hard to find someone to discuss options about. There were what looked like 4 associates one was with a other customer. I had made two laps through the store walking past them now yes not having pushy sales people is nice, but the tactic of not saying hello is odd. After bothering the associate behind the entry desk who did answer our questions, we finally left. Also note that the delivery fee is the most expensive I had found compared to many other furniture companies as well as they don't negotiate any pricing. Ordering online would be a better deal with the current discount offered. Granted this may not be for all locations.

DO NOT PURCHASE ASHLEY FURNITURE OR THEIR WARRANTY – IT’S A COMPLETE SCAM! I am beyond pissed. Ashley Furniture is complete garbage, and their warranty is an absolute joke. Do not waste your money on their cheaply made furniture, and whatever you do, DO NOT PURCHASE THEIR WARRANTY—it’s worthless. I bought a full living room set—couches, a rug, a coffee table, the whole deal. Less than five years later, everything is falling apart. And no, this isn’t from rough use—it’s because the quality is absolute trash. My husband sat down on the couch, just sat down, and the frame snapped. That’s how poorly made their furniture is. The coffee table? Started peeling and falling apart after about a year or two. The materials they use are cheap, and it shows. Now, let’s talk about the so-called “warranty”. When we bought the set, the sales rep at Ashley pushed hard for us to add it, promising that it would cover everything—tears, zippers, stains, the works. That was a complete lie. The only thing it actually covers is the frame. That’s it. So if your couch tears, the seams come apart, or a zipper breaks? Too bad, they won’t fix it. When I called GBS (the warranty provider), it took months of back-and-forth just to get them to fix the broken frame. Meanwhile, they kept promising they’d take care of the fabric damage—but when I called back, suddenly it was, “Oh, sorry, your warranty doesn’t cover that.” Absolute scam. And Ashley’s furniture overall? Not worth the money. We went back once to look at bed sets, and my husband immediately pointed out how flimsy they were. Nothing is built to last. A couple of pieces seemed sturdy, but the rest? Cheap, low-quality, and overpriced. Bottom line: DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE. DO NOT BUY THEIR WARRANTY. It’s all a scam to get more money out of you while selling you junk that won’t even last five years. Spend your money at an actual furniture store where you’re paying for quality, not garbage.

This partiicular store told us that our furniture will be delivered after 3 weeks of purchase but it got pushed again with same excuse -"its in our WA warehouse and needs to be delivered in OR. People- Dont ever buy any furniture from this Ashley Store. For sure they will tell you lies from the start and lie again for the delovery date.

I wish I could give 0 stars! This has been the worst service you could possibly imagine. We ordered a bedroom set and TV stand with fireplace almost 5 months ago. We were quoted 3-5 weeks and have never once received a phone call. We finally got some of our order that was supposed to be “white glove” delivery and set up for us. Instead the guys said oh no we don’t know how to set this up and left boxes and styrofoam for us to clean up. We have now had 3 more trucks attempt to deliver our bedroom furniture while we took apart our bed set and have been sleeping on the floor since we were told it would be in that day. Today the delivery driver said oh no we don’t have the bed just the foot step… then he said oh ya we know we get complaints all the time about this type of stuff. When we call for the managers they have the appointment team call back to schedule another partial delivery. At this point we will be asking to return their furniture and go elsewhere.

Terrible customer service. We’ve been told 4 times now that our order is cancelled by multiple people only for our card to still be charged and the items to be shipped to us. We were told multiple times that they couldn’t cancel the charge for various reasons. Including, internal policy of a 24 hour period before cancellation that they can’t show you because it’s internal, no tracking number and the order has already been processed. Now I’m going to have to refuse the package from fed ex and put in for a refund request which will take 7-10 business days. Ridiculous that being told the order is cancelled doesn’t mean it’s actually cancelled.

My partner and I spent over an hour selecting several large furniture pieces for our new home, yet received no assistance or greeting from any staff member. This was despite the presence of multiple salespeople who, while observing us, provided no offer of help. Conversely, these same staff members promptly assisted subsequent customers. Consequently, we will not be returning to this establishment.

I strongly advise against shopping at Ashley Furniture, specifically the Clackamas location. I ordered a $2,200 sectional on December 30, 2024, with an estimated delivery of 3-5 weeks. It is now 7 weeks later, and I still don’t have my couch. This “delivery” has now been rescheduled four times, and the experience has been nothing but frustrating. I’ve been rescheduled multiple times, including twice on the morning of my scheduled delivery when I was told no one would be showing up. Despite numerous calls to the store and customer service, I received no updates or clear answers—just delay after delay. I cleared my entire day for the most recent rescheduled delivery on February 15 and February 18th, only to be told it wasn’t happening. I went into the store in person, and they told me my couch was at the warehouse and could be delivered on 2/18. I was assured I’d receive a text, call, or email with a delivery window. Unsurprisingly, none of that happened. When I called the store myself to follow up, I was told the couch hadn’t even been unloaded into the warehouse yet—despite being there since Wednesday. Then why was my delivery scheduled for today?! At this point, I requested a refund. They said they’d have to call me back… and, of course, no call, no couch, and no money returned. After reading other reviews, it’s clear this is a recurring issue. If you like constant delays, poor communication, and zero accountability, this is the store for you. Otherwise, save yourself the headache and shop elsewhere.

Worst experience ever! 10/10 do NOT RECOMMEND!!!! Purchased a bed set and matching dresser Black Friday weekend. Was told it would be delivered by Dec 14. Dec 14 came and went no one called me or emailed me. They don’t answer their phones. I finally got ahold of someone after calling over 25 times in one day not joking! They had no answers for me, in fact she was so incredibly rude and told me why would I expect my furniture in 2 weeks when it takes 6-8 weeks for delivery. Which we absolutely WERE NOT INFORMED at the store. The following Monday we went back into the store to demand answers they told me that my order had been cancelled and a new order had been made and that now my stuff wouldn’t be delivered until January 5th! But again I would have not known ANY OF THAT had I not gone back to the store. Jan 5th came and my bed frame showed up but no dresser! Here we are Jan 27,2025 two months after my original purchase date my dresser was supposed to be delivered last week and it didn’t even though it was marked delivered! So now I have my mom waiting out my house for my supposed delivery today that was going to be from 12-3pm. Had to call them AGAIN because it’s 3:05 and no delivery now it’s been pushed out to 4:30pm. I highly doubt it’ll come today. They also wouldn’t refund us for any of it at any point in this whole escapade because they kept saying it was already at the warehouse! So a refund wasn’t even an option on their end. To say I’m extremely pissed off and dissatisfied is an understatement. I will NEVER shop at Ashley’s again! And I will tell everyone who asks for recommendations to never get their furniture from there. Ashley’s should be ashamed for this kind of business! Editing my review: my delivery never came! After they gave me the time frame of 12-3 and then 4:30 and THEN 5:45! It never showed and no one bothered to communicate with me. They got my money and I have yet to review my product. I’ll be filing a complaint with BBB tonight! It’s been 2 months with this run around BS and lack of communication, rude customer service, being hung up on, and still no product!

We haven't heard anything about our bed that we purchased on Jan 2nd. I called and was informed that we would be receiving an email regarding our delivery sometime between the 21st and the 23rd. It's the 22nd and am annoyed. This is definitely a much different experience than we had when buying our couch and we are rethinking our next major purchase in this store. I will update my review, if needed, once we receive our purchase. Better communication is needed. I've lowered my review to a 1 because it's the 24th and, as I expected, we've heard nothing even after leaving them a voicemail. Update: I was able to reach a gal on the 24th later in the day. She didn't seem happy to be dealing with me at all even after I tried telling her that I was frustrated and not necessarily with her. She proceeded to tell me that we would get a call on February 7th. No one was going to call and tell me. Every bit of information I've received is because I've called. we will continue to wait but we will NEVER be back. I did receive the Presidents Day flyer where I'm referred to as "VIP" and it only made me more annoyed. I should be a customer through the entire process NOT just while I'm buying. We will continue to wait and wait and wait UPDATE: We received a call from a representative for Ashley's on Friday the 31st to schedule delivery for Monday the 3rd and we have our beautiful bed. We appreciate the email from the store manager. We love our bed. Thank you UPDATE: We're back to a 1. No not because they double charged me for the bed but because, when I called on Tuesday I was told I would get a call "tomorrow" and I never did. I left a voicemail this morning (Thursday Feb 21st can you believe I'm still dealing with this? I can't) and proceeded to synchrony to set up a dispute. The gal there was very helpful. Communication is lacking

Worst experience I’ve had in my life. The sales Mark Weidemann sold me a 3 piece couch under the false pretense that it is a 5 piece and that im getting a great deal. We purchased on black Friday so thought nothing of it at the time. The couch was supposed to be delivered Dec 11th and only got delivered Jan 8th. One month after the promised delivery date! And to make things worse imagine my surprise when they deliver 3/5 of what I was told I purchased! I had to make the 40 min drive back to Ashley and after explaining things to them instead of honoring what they promised in the first place they denied everything and took no action to fix the situation. Trust me avoid Ashley this company is an uncoordinated mess just take your business somewhere else after 2 months of waiting for my furniture I’m forced to go and find a couch to buy elsewhere

Worst experience ever. I ordered my furniture 3 months ago. they delayed delivering part of the order by 2 months and then delivered the wrong furniture completely. The store customer service was extremely rude and completely clueless on how to help getting the furniture replaced. The other half of the order is still not delivered with no estimated delivery data. Horrible experience with Clackamas location. Ending up canceling all my order.

Never got our furniture and they don’t answer their phones. Tried calling 12 times in one day and finally went into the store. We had received a confirmation email the furniture was being delivered in two days and to remove our old furniture, which we did. Day of delivery, nothing. Drove to the store and the employees all looked at each other like “oh no, we’ve been found out. This place is a joke!! Do not buy your furniture from here because no one knows when it will be delivered and they are all pretending.

This place is a total fraud! Facts: 1. Placed an order of near $5000, after thanksgiving. 2. I got an email saying I'd get my furniture on mid december 3. I called on the delivery date, the first sales person I spoke to I gave them my order number and they responded "How do I know that is a legitimate order number?" (What a complete joke right?) 4. The next customer service told me that they had to reorder my stuff an call me in a week or so 5. After Christmas and still no info, I called and the 3rd customer service agent told me my complete order was canceled (I had no idea, because of course they still hold my $5k). 6. When the 3rd customer service agent is calling the clackamas store to get info, they are getting "hung up on". 7. Now I am on hold trying to get hope of how to get my $5k back....the saga continues 8. Do yourself a favor and buy your furniture somewhere else. Update: it is now 2/24/2025 and I have not received a refund. I paid for my stuff in 11/29/2024. Let that sink in - they have essentially stolen my money for about 3 months. And so far nothing they say or do is helping. I emailed the “GS” response below. I don’t know what they are doing. They just say wait. Wait. Wait. And the dates they say something will happen just pass and nothing happens. I’m getting ready now I need to look at legal ways to get my money back. On top of all this, I bought my furniture for my family guests for Christmas of 2024. And I had no furniture as they had promised. I was a laughing stock. What an embarrassment. Only for them to take my money. What a nightmare!!

Like everyone else I bought a recliner from these guys before thanksgiving. When they took my money said I would have the chair in a week or two. It is now Christmas and I still don’t have my chair. No one can tell me when I will get it. I don’t know why anyone would buy something from this place. What a joke.

At time of my purchase. I was not told. Of the change in ownership of Ashley’s They could not deliver some of my purchases which I needed right away. I had to cancel and buy else where. Update: 12/20/24 Still have not received my furniture. I reached out to the email the store provided to me in my first review and never heard back. Not even a confirmation they were looking into my order. I have spoken to customer service and they have no idea where my furniture is, nothing at the warehouse and no estimated delivery date. My next step will be to file a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau and hope that maybe they will be able to get Ashley to respond to my requests or at least get me my furniture. I can’t stress this enough, please do not bother purchasing anything from Ashley. This has been a horrible experience. Ordered new furniture in store on 11/30/24 and paid for premium delivery, which was originally scheduled for 12/7/24 but then changed to 12/14/24 due to them not delivering to our area very often. After not hearing any updates the week leading up to and the day of delivery, we tried calling the store to chat about what the status was. No one answered after multiple phone calls. My husband finally decided to drive to the store, 35 minutes away. After arriving, there were multiple people who had the same complaints as us and no solution was offered. We were informed that it may or may not arrive until after the New Year. I would advise anyone to save their time and money and go to another furniture store. Extremely disappointed to say the least and will not be doing any future purchases with Ashley Furniture.

Horrible customer service! My parents have been waiting on their furniture for over 2 months now. They apparently are under new ownership, but cannot seem to pick up their phone and inform their clients of when their furniture is in stock, or ready for delivery. Absolute joke of an establishment. No one knows what they’re doing. Please shop somewhere else as they will mess up your order and make you feel like it’s your fault and that you’re inconveniencing them!

I made my first visit to Ashley Furniture and was immediately impressed with the size of the store and the many different options to choose from. We were greeted by a friendly young lady who told us to look around and that she would be available to answer any questions I might have. I so appreciated the fact that she allowed us to look around the store without having her following us like a used car salesman. Not all Furniture Stores are as thoughtful. It made the experience much more relaxed and enjoyable. I found the perfect pieces, finalized my purchases and look forward to their delivery in about 1 week.

I have bought a lot of things from Ashley. I have have always bought the insurance to go with the items. Not cheap but wanted everything to look good. The expensive Leather couch started to peel so I called them and Ashley refused to fix it ! I told them I want my money I paid for the insurance . They gave me a very small amount back and not in cash but in-store credit !!! Like I really want to buy anything from this place again.. I called the manager to get everything they owed me and I waited and never called... Ashley doesn't take care of there customers and are very hard to get in touch with !!! I payed good money for junk !!! They are very rude when they have to use the insurance you paid for !! DON'T buy anything from this company !!!

He is knowledgeable, and a great host. They have a great mattress selection and we really loved the recliners, and couches. A few years ago they didn't have this level of selection and quality, and I think the options and selection have really improved. You should definitely visit and ask for Jim!

Laura Weaver was the associate who helped us purchase our sleeper sectional with oversized ottoman. It was our first purchase from Ashley and she made it easy, explained all of our options clearly, took the time to show us around when there were additional items we wanted to look at, and was friendly and personable the whole time. Pros Just purchased a wonderful plush couch and ottoman from Ashley HomeStore. Got a great black Friday discount and free delivery & assembly. The sales rep at the store was very friendly and knowledgeable. She never made me feel uncomfortable or pressure me into buying anything. Once the couch was delivered the process was pretty smooth and efficient. The couch was delivered and assembled in 1-1.5 hours. Cons Unfortunately my delivery order was canceled the morning of my original delivery date (on a Saturday). I got a phone call saying that my delivery had been canceled due to a mechanical malfunction on the delivery truck. I called Ashley and I tried to reschedule my delivery date. I talked to 3 different customer service reps and each rep gave me a different answer about what my new delivery date would be. I eventually confirmed with a rep that the next available delivery date would be two weeks away from my original date. However, the very next day I got a text and phone call from an Ashley delivery rep saying they were 30 minutes away from delivering the couch that day (Sunday). Clearly there was poor communication between the costumer service reps and the delivery drivers. Luckily my boyfriend happened to be home so the couch was delivered successfully but I was told that the couch would be delivered in two weeks. Overall, I absolutely love the couch but the customer service interactions were very confusing and frustrating.

We went shopping for an affordable, comfortable chair...Ashley had a wide variety of choices. We selected an attractive recliner that is comfortable and easy to adjust. We purchased at Ashley a couple years ago and had a terrible experience due to supply and delivery issues. That was the first thing we mentioned on this visit and we were assured that the items we chose were in stock. Hours later, I called with a question about delivery and was told our three items were out of stock and delivery would occur on three different days, weeks past what we were promised. We canceled our order completely. I would not recommend Ashley furniture to anyone.

Got a pretty great price for a quality couch. My cats love puking on it but the fabric is super easy to clean. The sales woman could tell I wanted to wander alone and respected my space. When I was getting ready she was very helpful and answered my questions. I was in and out of there in 30 minutes with a delivery date set. Spent months internet browsing, lesson learned. Next time I'll just come here.

I had a great experience in the store, my sales person was great, & I love my couch. The problem is with their customer service & delivery department, first problem is that they brought out a 2nd couch the week after the 1st couch was delivered this was a month ago, I am still waiting for a chair & 2 pillows, I recently got a email & text saying a delivery was coming, I stayed home it never came, I called them the next day and they said that they had no record & could not explain why I got the delivery notices. My chair continues to be on back orderer, I have been given a few estimated delivery dates, very frustrating.

My delivery came in after 9 pm and everything was boxed. Don’t know how it was dirty. Then there was the issue of the fabric not being taunt. They fixed one area but there’s one couch that’s still warped. It’s quite an expensive couch for things not to be in better condition.

I really liked the furniture I purchased but when they delivered my bed and set it up it was completely wrong..the stabilizers they use weren't even touching the ground and the bed was put together wrong. After you make a purchase there you can not call Ashley furniture no one will pick up the phone . I tried reaching out for them to call me and I never received a phone call back and I tried for weeks it has now been 3 months. They care about the all mighty sale but not you the customer..I won't be shopping with them again .

Bought a couch that I thought was comfortable but it’s not. I tried to trade it in a day after I got it because I thought it had a 72 hour trade in. Well that’s only if you buy online and not in the store. The store would not let me trade the couch back in and told me there was nothing I could do. 900 dollar mistake. Don’t buy at this store.

I recently bought a dining set from Ashley Furniture, and unfortunately, my delivery experience was far from smooth. When my set arrived, there was a small dent on the table and—believe it or not—2 out of the 4 chairs were missing! I thought it would be a simple fix. I contacted customer service, and they initially agreed to send the missing chairs and a replacement part within 10 days. However, after I accepted the delivery and even left a note about the issue on the paperwork, they called me an hour later to say they couldn’t send the replacement because I had “accepted the delivery.” Instead, they needed to send a “technician” to inspect the dent before doing anything. Seriously, it’s just a small dent on the edge of the table! As for the missing chairs, they told me I had to contact the salesperson because it was her mistake. But after checking the receipt number, it turns out their receipt also showed four chairs. Despite this, they kept insisting it wasn’t their problem, and now I have to wait for the store to sort it out. The experience was frustrating, and I’m left feeling extremely disappointed with the customer service. Would definitely think twice before shopping here again!

They make you wait a long time, they tell you a date that they are going to arrive and they arrive very late !! Mine lasted a month and a half or more … and even haven’t got everything

Update 11/7: I have left three messages for Josh with no response, two for a manager at the Clackamas store and was actually hung up on today when I was asking when I will get a call back and buy home since I’ve left multiple messages with no response. I was called yesterday by someone named Liz saying delivery is apparently set for tomorrow Friday 11/8 and that this time the furniture would really be put together in the warehouse and I would be sent pictures the day before, which is today. We received no email and called back to find out what is going on to be told oh it is on backorder again and your delivery is not for another couple of weeks. It is clear Ashley is not going to do anything about this at the store or regional level at this point I guess I will just file with the BBB and hope for some kind of resolve. Or I guess just find a reputable company to buy from and stop dealing with this headache completely. I have never had to work so hard to give a company money. The most frustrating experience by far. Update 11/1 : Josh, the regional manager, set up the replacement order, for the one Ashley cancelled without being supposed to and scheduled delivery with me for 11/2. It came 11/1 which is fine since we’ve been needing it and I’m home. He also assured me it would be opened and put together on the warehouse to assure no damage or issues. That wasn’t done and I was just delivered another table with a huge gauge on one of the leaves. I refused delivery and their delivery guys are trying to force me into keeping it “come on just work with us so we have room in the truck” Called and left a message for Josh but am not hopeful for a positive resolution at this point. about Another update 10/24 : After being offered a few hundred dollars off for the issues we decided to wait for a new undamaged table and chairs (even through all the issues) because of Jenny’s (store associate who’s been very kind and helpful) service and ultimately I love the table. She let me know we would receive delivery by end of October. I called yesterday (10/23) for an update and was informed that Ashley cancelled my order and no one knows why. I also have an unauthorized charge by Ashley for over $300…so they charged my card fraudulently AND cancelled my order? I spoke with Jenny who has helped me to the extent of her capability, asked her to have Justin (district manager who called me after the first botched delivery) call me - haven’t heard from him yet. Or anyone who can explain the unauthorized charge, why my order was cancelled and/or what they’re going to do to fix the problem they’ve created. I am really questioning the legitimacy and integrity of Ashley. Edit to the response : Yup, I was contacted by the regional manager who assured me he confirmed my furniture was in stock and ready for delivery. Scheduled for delivery today (9/21) and got a damaged table and damaged chair. Have had the worst experience. 2 orders have been cancelled day of delivery now for not being available and then not having all pieces available. Why isn’t that checked and confirmed when scheduling and confirming delivery? I have 16 people coming over in 3 days for my daughters birthday party and now no table or chairs since I let mine get picked up the evening before my CONFIRMED delivery and am now being told (2 days later) it’s all available but soonest delivery they have available is 10/3. What a joke! Ashley should arrange delivery today or tomorrow to fix their mistake!

Customer service was terrible. Walked in no one greeted me or my husband when we walked in. The three sales men that I did see were all standing around talking to a male customer about his wedding. Very unwelcoming. Won't be going there again. Decided to buy a recliner online still waiting for a delivery date it's been a week and nothing. So I will be going some where else. I’ve changed the names of people in this review, but here’s my account of what happened at the Ashley in Portland today. I’m not trying to get anyone fired, but wowee… My partner and I were greeted by a very nice blonde lady we’ll call Kate. We told Kate specifically what we were looking for, and she walked us over to where it was. We thanked her and then told her we were going to browse for a while. At this point, another store employee walked over and began reprimanding her right in front of us for stepping on the toes of the other employees and greeting too many guests. I get that they are probably working for commission, but this is really something that should have been sorted out, I don’t know, not in the middle of the store and in front of customers? I felt bad for her, I would have been mortified to be spoken to like that out on the floor. Kate was the only one who came to greet us when we arrived and frankly she sounds like a hella boss. After pretending to be totally enamored by a mediocre couch as a way to pretend that the whole thing wasn’t going on right in our faces, we shuffled off to another part of the store in a manner similar to Homer Simpson disappearing into some hedges. The reprimanding employee, who we are guessing was the floor supervisor, proceeded to wander the floor waving around some cardboard tube like it was a baton and he was the warden of the furniture store. Just as we both felt we could stop disassociating from the awkward scenario and focus on our mission, a male employee walked over, looking distraught, and told us that Kate won’t be helping us anymore, she’s helping someone else (side note, I really hope Kate is okay), and we should now ask for him, Sam (is what we will call him). Sam seemed very stressed and above all, really wanted to make sure we didn’t talk to Kate again. We told him thanks, we’ll just keep browsing. Sam then followed us around the store so obviously and with such determination that my partner and I started laughing. At one point I looked up to catch him still following us, and saw him quickly turned away and start looking behind a chair, like something was lost back there. We walked circles around this store and Sam continued to follow us. It was just too weird and uncomfortable so we left. I swore I’d never go back to IKEA, but suddenly it doesn’t sound so bad.

10/12, Ashley furniture finally picked up the damaged furniture. I received an email first that I would not get a refund. Instead, I would get a 20% discount. What? They sold me damaged goods. I filed a complaint with Visa. Visa sent them a dispute. I know this is the sole reason I finally received a full refund! I bought something in solid wood from Wayfair. They assembled it and called me a couple of days later to check in. What a difference in business culture. Stay clear of Ashley furniture. P.S. I never heard back from the owner nor received a reply to my emails that Google review said to send my email to. AI on Google review lies to you so be careful. 10/2 update: Ashley has yet to resolve this. They have not picked up the damaged/poorly repaired furniture or given me a refund. I have submitted a claim with Visa as Ashley hasn't responded since my last call on 9/17. 9/24 update:  I have called Customer Care twice since September 7 and went to the Ashley store on 82nd Ave in Portland, Oregon, on 9/17/2024 because Customer Care has not responded. Ashley store sent an email to you while I stood at the Ashley counter. You called me on 9/20 at work and said a second technician was at my home. I already stated you can't repair solid wood with a wax crayon and stray stuff in a can. I requested you to pick up the furniture and provide a full refund. I am still waiting for you to pick up the furniture and issue my refund. I made a consumer claim with Visa as I should not have to accept damaged property. Also, the owner comment is fake in this post as the Ashley employee said it is an AI response from Google reviews. JP is not the owner of Ashley - I have never heard back from the owner after following the instructions! 8/30, The delivery people took my furniture out of the delivery truck unprotected! No packaging, bubble wrap, or blankets wrapped around the furniture to protect my almost $900 investment. The careless delivery people dinged my furniture on the metal stair rail. I expect a discount and a QUALIFIED person to come and fix the damage with wood putty. I was told I was paying for white glove service. This is NOT white glove service! Also, the customer service person on the phone did not care. She wanted me to take another day off work on September 3 to have a person fix the damage. I would lose wages on my paycheck! This is a bad furniture company with no customer care. Their white glove service is a joke. 9/5, Customer service called me. 30-minute phone call. They finally found my original call on 8/30. This company made zero reparations and charged me full price - I received NO compensation for the damage they did to my furniture. Do not buy from this company. They are a poor example of customer service! 9/7, The Ashley technician did a poor job repairing the damage the delivery people did to my furniture. Note photos of poor repairs done on 9/7/2024. You can see a waxy substance that poorly filled the damage. I had asked for a discount and did not receive one. This furniture was probably on a showroom floor, which explains it came unpackaged off of a delivery truck. Then, it was damaged in transit and up the stairs. I am asking for a replacement by Tuesday, 9/10/24, or you refund my purchase as this has been a poor experience. 9/11/24 I never heard back from Ashley. They think their technician fixed my furniture and that should be good enough. He did a horrible job. They should have just given me a 40% discount for the damage minus the delivery charge for their poor delivery. I reached out to the owner and customer service 4 days ago. Nothing. They ghost you. I called my credit card company to see what protection I have.

While the employees there are nice the company is awful. We bought a sofa which had damage just over a year after purchase. We thought we were all good because they had sold us a 289$ 5 year protection plan. But no, the crooked company they work with, Protectall, rejected our claim and would not even consider an appeal after we discovered the cause was our elderly mother’s use of a microwaveable heating disc. They also kept reporting on the claim that our couch is leather which is untrue. The employees told us Ashley no longer uses Protectall because they are so bad but we feel Ashley sold us that plan, we paid Ashley, so they should either repair our sofa or give us at least the money for the “protection plan”. Buyer beware!!! Update- the day I printed this I got a call from the regional manager and they are replacing our sofa when I just wanted a repair. They have a new in house warranty company which they hope will work better for customers in the future. I am very grateful for this resolution!

Full of lies, they take your money cant make good on delivery's was suppose to happen two weeks ago they show up with half the order and say they forgot the other half at the warehouse and they will call to within 72 hours to schedule the rest of the order no calls till two weeks later then schedule again and day of call and say they haven't received the part of the frame but have confirmed three time the warehouse does have the part now they say not till October for delivery do your self a favor go across the street to lazy boy or any where else don't put your self threw mental stress

My partner and I came in around June looking for a couch within budget. Laura W was really great in helping us out & made signing up for the delivery and financing super easy! We got our couch and have been loving it! This store has decent selections at various price points and knowledgeable/friendly employees to help you out.

My roommate and I came in looking for a couch set with a particular budget. We're both kind of awkward and prefer exploring stores on our own, and Laura W. was totally understandable. Occasionally she'd check in on us, give us a little tidbit of information, and then let us be until we were ready to buy. The worst experience I have ever had in a store. Every ten feet another rude miserable person comes up saying the exact same thing as the previous person and gets an attitude when asked to stop. What about "my friend and I want to browse alone, we will ask for help if we need it" did they not understand? Horrible store with horrible employees. My friend and I got fed up and left... both found exactly what we were lookign for at the La-z-Boy store, where the employees all knew how to behave.

This is our first time visiting the store Ashley! We recently bought our first house and were looking for some furniture, this store has good pieces at reasonable prices. But what made our experience so special was the assistance that we received from sales rep James Bess. We weren’t sure about what color could go with the existing pieces that we have and we asked James for his opinion and he was very genuine with his suggestions. We kept changing our choices but James was very patient and polite with us, he kept helping us until we were sure! Such people are an absolute asset to the business and a great help to the customers. Overall, great experience! We will be back during the month of November to get Black Friday deals on not so urgent items that we plan to buy once we move in to our new house. Thank you!!:)

I recently had the pleasure of shopping for new furniture at Ashley, and I must say, the experience was made all the more delightful thanks to the wonderful assistance provided by salesperson Laura. Laura's extensive knowledge of the store's inventory was evident as she expertly guided me through the various sections, helping me to narrow down my choices without ever feeling overwhelmed.

All of the associates were welcoming and helpful. Mark was great helping me pick what I wanted and finding good deals for me. He kept it lighthearted and added good humor, which I appreciate as I get kind of overwhelmed by salespeople sometimes. Found a great couch and dresser!

Worst experience ever. DONOT BUY FROM THIS STORE. THEY DONT pick up your call. I bought a recliner sofa 4 weeks ago that was scheduled for delivery. However, the delivery person came without the right folks to carry the furniture up the stairs to the media room where I wanted it. They took it back to the warehouse and attempted to deliver again 3 days later again without enough people to carry. I have been attempting to call customer service and the store and have been getting a runaround without any way to resolve the situation. This is absolutely atrocious that after paying an hefty amount of money there is no support or customer service.

It was a straightforward transaction and very pleasant customer service. We went into the store and were immediately helped by Jeanie. We set a delivery date for a large sectional couch, and she told us we would be emailed the week of delivery, which we were. We were texted the delivery window the day before and called with a 38-minute window the day of delivery. The delivery even unfolded an hour early. Overall I would recommend this location.

Worst customer service ever. No one is taking the responsibility to provide a delivery date for the defected items they delivered. The original order was also delivered one week later from the initial scheduled date and almost all the items had damages.

Too poor customer service I didn’t expect such a bad experience

The buying experience was good with the associate who helped us. Very courteous and professional. However, our order got delayed 1 week. When delivery day came received another notification that it would again be delayed 1 more day. Only 2/3 items ordered were delivered. It's been 2 weeks since original delivery day and we still have yet to receive any updates on the last item. We tried calling, but no one would provide any solutions to the issues. Terrible customer service.

Visiting the store and the buying process was easy and quick however the delivery experience was another hurdle. My suggestion: do not offer a delivery date if you can’t make it. I based my decision on the fact the sofa was available and not in back order however the day BEFORE the delivery date was pushed back almost a month 🙄😖… I was so disappointed

Two weeks ago, we were in the market for a sofa and loveseat and went to sit in as many as we could. Jim greeted us right away and showed us around the store giving us a lot of information to help us make a decision. We found the set we wanted but didn’t buy that night wanting to make sure we were confident in our decision but, because Jim is a great guy, we promised to come back and only purchase through him. And purchase we did! Great and easy experience with Jim leading the way.

This was the worst experience ever!! No response by email. No help from the store. Unable to deliver a couch for over a month. No explanation. No help. In the end I had to cancel the order, still paying for a delivery fee in which the couch wasn’t delivered.

The associate (Jeanna Lavalley) who assisted me was knowledgeable and took the time to help me find the right piece. I have come to depend on Ashley for affordable, quality furniture. The chair/ottoman I purchased arrived in excellent shape. It was firmer than the sample I tried in the store but this isn't necessarily a bad thing. Comments on the softer models criticized them for not holding their shape over time. That tells me Ashley listens to its customer feedback.

This place is very unprofessional. They stated they tried to deliver to our address only to find out they went to the wrong house and refused to return to deliver on the expected day and wanted us to wait another week for delivery. The customer service line is very unprofessional.

The sales rep almost got me today. She was very misleading and was just a liar. We were told that if prices go down for a memorial day sale, we could call and get the discount retroactively. Both of these things are not true now that im home and on the FAQs section of the website. She priced out our configuration for $600 more than it totals when I build it online. Then when I found the same couch at a lower price somewhere else, there was no price matching. My only option was to cancel. I still have not been provided a delivery date not even an estimated time frame. Sadly disappointed at the end result.

Wish I could leave 0 stars. I went in to purchase a 3 piece set. Was given a delivery date, a week later, they pushed the date out by 2 weeks. I had them called and asked for a partial delivery since 2/3 if my items were ready. They said yes this will be delivered. I confirmed this with 3 different people throughout 2 days and then they called to say oh it won’t be until x/xx which was 2 weeks later. Nope. Cancelled my order and went else where. My story dosnt sound so bad but this was very frustrating Long story short, expect a long delivery and horrible communication and customer service

I called the store directly and was quickly transferred to Jim who was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable about the items that I was ordering. I bought a couch from them and I need replacement parts but its past my warranty date so I have to pay for them which is fine but they will not help me in ordering them as i cannot do it through the online system. *to clarify i DID call the closest store to me and asked them to order the parts and had the serial numbers and item numbers. The associate genevive assured me she would assist but was unsure of how to order them and directed me to order them online even though i had already told her it was past warranty so i couldnt. She advised she would call me back three weeks ago. Since i have been unable to reach the store and got no call back.

We are moving our 98 yr old mom to a care center so we knew Ashley’s would have all our needs. Our salesperson was VERY knowledgeable and really helped us with all we needed!

Went into this location looking for a couch (I wasn't looking for a full set yet) to finally upgrade my home. Once I tell the sales person my budget she shows me one couch and disappears. I'm left wondering the store trying to see what else is in my price range. Feeling frustrated and ignored I left and came back the next day. Did some research online and found two sets in my price range. The same sales lady greeted me. I told her the couches and she was only able to show me one (due to inventory). I ask her if there are any other sets or couches in that price range and again I feel brushed off. I ended up really liking the first set so I decided to apply. During applying for the financing application and I was pushed off onto another sales person. I was approved for the application but there was an issue with my bank. So I go to the front desk and talk with them and they don't accept my online bank (fine, I get it). At this point I'm debating on paying for the set in full. I ask if there are other options for payments and I was told "we don't do layaway". I'm feeling humiliated at this point and judged at this point. Highly don't recommend this store. Went to Mor's and found a beautiful couch, ottoman and chair. They took the time and made me feel important.

Mr Cory Rogers at Ashley Furniture was very helpful, patient and friendly with assisting my wife and I with our living furniture items purchases.

My husband and I recently completed a remodel, and were in need of several pieces of new furniture. The first time we visited Ashley, James helped us. He was very patient and attentive, even carrying a couple of dining chairs from one end of the store to the other so we could see how they looked with a dining table. He spent a lot of time walking around the store with us and showing us various items that we were interested in. James also saved our items in a cart, so that they would be available for us when we were ready to buy. The next time we stopped in, James wasn't there, but Cory Rogers helped us. He, too, spent a lot of time walking around the store with us, and finding the manager so that we could have all of our questions answered. He even brought us pillows to use when we were trying out mattresses! There was no pressure from either James or Cory to buy, which is very refreshing. They both seemed to be more concerned with us being happy with our purchase than with making a sale. Overall, it was a good experience!

We initially stopped in just to start looking at a few furniture options we would need after our remodel was complete. James, a floor sales rep, made our acquaintance and was very helpful, answering many questions for us. He also was nice enough to track the items we wanted, and put them in a virtual “cart” on his tablet for future reference. We left that day, and came back a few days later. Unfortunately, James had already left for the day, but another sales rep, Cory Rogers, was able to pick up where we left off with by pulling up our virtual “cart” of items from before. After confirming with us that everything in the cart was correct, Cory continued helping us with some additional items we asked about and he was very patient and kind. My wife asked about the Purple brand of mattresses, and so Cory took us over to that part of the store and showed us the various options that we could test out. He also brought us a few different pillows to try out while we were lying on the mattresses to see if we liked any of them. We were pretty interested in the medium density mattress, and Cory proceeded to tell us about the promotional sale that was going on with those mattresses. He was very attentive to our needs, but never pushy. We decided to get the Purple mattress but not the pillows. He never once tried to pressure us into getting anything more than what we vocalized that we wanted. It was a real relief to have someone helping us who was genuinely concerned with just helping us get the best deals on the actual furniture pieces we wanted. Thank you, James and Cory, for being such a pleasure to work with!

We went in with the family to look at living room furniture and a bedroom set for my daughter and we were sitting down talking about what we saw and what we should do based off our finances etc when one of the salesman asked a question and before we could respond said “are you going to respond to me, you are in a store and it’s my job to greet you”. I was very offended for one, my husband and I are both vets who have PTSD and one of our kids has special needs so we tend to try and be in a calm environment before we get overwhelmed. Let’s just say we left immediately and won’t be back…and purchased a couch (same one) and bedroom furniture at a Canby furniture outlet store where they are always accommodating. Terrible customer service with this one guy who should get better customer service training.

The furniture is good. I hope that it holds up. However the delivery option that we paid for was ridiculous. We paid for the delivery and set up and removal of garbage. I cant even go into details of the delivery but it was more than irritating. Even when we left special instructions mutltiple times with multiple people it still was messed up. I would not EVER pay them a dime for the delivery service option.

We ordered our couch on January 8. It was supposed to be delivered on January 20. I got a call on January 19 at 3:00 PM to tell me it was back ordered due to manufacture delays. THE DAY BEFORE THE SCHEDULED DELIVERY! I had already confirmed delivery 3 different times. And so I rescheduled delivery for January 26. I took time off work to be home for the white glove delivery we paid extra for. I confirmed the delivery 3 times. I even got a text stating the scheduled time of my delivery. Then on January 25, I got a call, again, telling me there is once again manufacturer delays and the couch is again back ordered. Again, THE DAY BEFORE THE DELIVERY! After I had already confirmed the delivery 3 times AND gotten a scheduled delivery time the day before the delivery RIGHT BEFORE THE CALL! So now they have me scheduled for February 6. Almost an entire MONTH after I placed my order. This is absolutely ridiculous and extremely unprofessional. The manufacturer should know more than a day in advance if the item will be ready or not and customers should have far more notice. They should not be making promises they cannot keep. To have this happen twice in a row is just bad business.

We stopped in to look at couches. James (Jim) Berry stepped right up and helped us find what we were looking for. Unfortunately,they couldn't deliver to Coos Bay from this store and I didn't have my trailer. He still helped us find it at another location and sacrificed his commission to make sure we were taken care of. His people skills and service were supreme. My wife and I highly suggest giving this store a chance and look for James Berry. Help take care of that commission check he missed with us.

We have had the worst experience at this store. The employees, managers and rest of the staff are so unprofessional. From a discontinued couch with no explanation and after several calls to the store with no response we had to go in 3 different times to eventually have to settle for the floor model and then had to pick it up and move it our self. And that’s only the first couch the second one was supposed to be delivered today by 12:30 and after calling twice once at 1pm where I was told it was on the way, then again at 2pm after being on the phone for 30 minutes only to find out the deliver had been delayed for another 3 days. There has been no communication without us contacting the store. We will never shop with Ashley again. We still have unresolved issues with our financing due to delivery charges and the protection plan that we bought. Due to us buying the floor model the protection plan does not cover that couch. So I’m sure it will be another at least mont trying to get whatever credits are due. This whole situation is a disaster and I wish we had never walked into this store!.

We were greeted shortly as we entered the store, and was guided to the area of lift recliners. Even though inventory was limited we found exactly what we wanted. The sales person was very helpful and we never felt pressured at any time. We were able to get the item delivered in a reasonable amount of time. Hopefully their delivery and set up service will be equally up to standards. I will most likely return to shop and ask for the same sales person. It was a good experience.

Very very nice people. It’s the middle of December and I was waiting outside in the parking lot for a tow truck for my car & they let me wait inside where it’s warm

Easy in and out. Sales associate was knowledgeable and made the process quick and efficient. Didn't try to up sell me or talk me into additional items.

I’ve been to Ashley furniture stores before, but this one was by far the best. Usually, they’re full of salespeople and they go up to you so much that you have no time to think about what you came in for. But this one wasn’t like that. We came in, were greeted by Bobbi who asked if we need any help. We told him we’d like to take a look around first and he left us alone and told us “Let me know if you need anything!” We were greeted by one more person at the other end of the store who asked if we’d been helped and when we told them we had, they also told us to let them know if we needed anything! It was amazing, I was able to talk with my partner about what we wanted without a constant reminder that there are salespeople everywhere. We ended up going back to Bobbi and asking if they had any pull out couches available. He showed us the few that they had and left us alone to discuss. We ended up buying a couch which was in our price range and would be delivered by the time we need it. It was a great experience and changed my mind about Ashley!

It's a furniture store....

I would give 5 stars, and it was there BUT!!!! I'm having furniture delivered. the lady that helped me was super nice, but its like I was LIED TO! She told me everything was going to come to my house on this date, only to look at my receipt to see that my entertainment center wasn't on there, We couldn't thru with a phone call and had to call another location only to find out ITS ON BACKORDER! No one told us anything, so not only is it on BACKORDER but we have to wait for FedEx to deliver it and now we have to build it, and add the fire place into it when we were told everything will come at one day and would be built by the team. I wished they would of told us it was backordered and we would have order something different. Really disappointed with the lack of communication and now we are missing furniture with our order. So frustrating!!!!!!! Really am disappointed as we had a good experience and this is just to much that i had to remove stars.

Went to Ashley's to purchase a recliner and ended buying a dinning room set instead. Jeanna was knowledgeable about a range of products and guided us in our purchase.

Bobby was super helpful and transparent with our experience today at Ashley. I will definitely be coming back here to shop in the future.

My daughter and I spent two days with employee, Laura Weaver, who was wonderfully helpful in assisting us to make the decisions we were in the store to make. We were very pleased with our purchases.

James was great . i felt 0 pressure the sales people did NOT keep hassling or following me around.

The manager Robin was amazingly helpful and patient as we tried to find just the right furniture and also, Sam was so nice and helpful. We will definitely be back!!!

I went in to see a few couches and Sat on one and got stabbed with a needle. I told the Manger and he said maybe it was mine and it was in my pocket. I was in shock still so I just left and drove to the hospital to get checked out the nurse said I might have hiv or something and I'm going to need to take alot of medication 💊. Please beware of this place and where u sit in pdx .

When we first called Ashley in Clackamas to see if they had the dining room set on the floor for us to look at, we received a upbeat and positive greeting. The salesperson who came to the phone knew what she had available to look at encouraged us to come take a look. Our sales person didn't need to look anything up or put us on hold. When we got to the store the sales person whom we talked on the phone with was busy but the manager was very helpful and made sure that the sales person got the credit/commission for the sale. She was the reason why we took the drive from Vancouver to Clackamas.

Jeanna was a delight, she helped us to find the right sofa & recliner for our home. The prices were much less than I expected as well & delivery will only be a few days away. Very happy!

Here’s a solid idea, let’s staff the store with 1 employee while customers stand around and can’t get any help.

Good products, good customer service. Clean store. Sometimes orders come separately but they always come through. I’d recommend.

This place is super quick to sell you a product and take your money. But beware.. If your buying an item off the showroom floor, come ready to break it all down and move it out they’re doors yourself. Once you’ve spent the money your on your own!

Do not go into this store and purchase anything. Horrible customer service and misleading return policies and sales staff. We purchased a couch and loveseat, they delivered it to the carport, it would not fit through the door and when we called the same day to return it because we couldn't even get it in our house they said they would not return it. We were misled about the dimensions by the sales staff, were never informed that there is no return policy when purchasing in store. This is a very expensive couch and the way we are being treat is awful. I will be leaving a review every day on every platform until this company decides to make this right by returning this couch.

I was looking for a couch. Ashley was recommended to me through a friend. I found the couch that fit my needs. I went out to buy it and it was a easy process. I new what wanted and it took about twenty minutes to do the transaction. The sales person was very helpful.

First visit, the salespeople weren’t especially friendly, but were very watchful. Second visit I was pleased to be helped by Jeanna. She was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and not pushy.

EDIT: I am frustrated to be making this update but the service after walking off the showroom floor has been terrible. First, my initial delivery date was cancelled and nobody told me. I called the store for days and they either didn’t answer or picked up and immediately disconnected. I called every customer service and corporate number for Ashley and their only suggestion was that they would “try to call the store for me” - but the store didn’t answer their calls either. Finally, I drove all the way to the store to talk to a manager because I had no furniture to sit on until it arrived. That’s when I learned that my furniture delivery could be rescheduled for the following week but that the battery packs needed to operate the furniture come separately by mail. So, I’m paying a premium for delivery and set up for furniture that can’t be set up. The manager said he would send me tracking info for the batteries but never did. So, I’m finally getting my thousands of dollars worth of recliners but can’t recline and have no idea when the batteries will come. I am guessing they didn’t warn me about this delay because I could have bought the batteries cheaper and faster on Amazon. — My salesman Bobby listened to me and was able hone right in on exactly what I was looking for. The store had lots of choices, but he was obviously very knowledgeable and helped me narrow it down pretty quickly, which was awesome.

Avoid. We bought furniture. a bunch of stuff and we were sold a plan protection plan. 5 years 550 bucks. A month after getting the furniture our sofa had a frame break. We were told the protection plan company went out of business and there was a brand new protection company. And we were out of luck. The salesman told me when I came in numerous times to try to deal with this that every year or so their protection plan company goes out of business and they're part of Ashley Furniture. I would avoid this company at all costs. In addition to this issue we purchased a reclinable movie theater sofa and there's been our Nationwide recall for a fire hazard and Ashley's solution to fixing my LED light up movie theater sofa that I paid $15 or $1,800 for is to disconnect the lights. I bought the sofa because it had lights. What a Bad Bad Company. Buyer beware avoid this really bad company.

I give two stars because my initial experience was great. I was met by the store manager. Instead of passing me off to a sales associate, he proceeded to help me find the furniture I was looking for. I was initially skeptical about the Purple Pillow, but I was told it was one of the best for getting a good night's sleep. When my furniture arrived, the headboard for the storage bed was damaged, so I sent the whole bed back and accepted the dressers and night stand. I had also noticed the dresser mirror wasn't originally part of the order, so i contacted the store and purchased the mirror over the phone. The first night I tried to sleep on the Purple Pillow, it was horrible. After 20 minutes of being uncomfortable, I took the pillows off the bed and resorted back to my old pillows. I contacted the store the next day to see if I could return them (Purple Pillow has a 100 night guarantee) only to be told by the girl who answered the phone that they don't accept returns. I explained that I just spent a sizable amount of money at their store and only wanted to return the items that cost the least amount, and perhaps I should return my entire order. She chuckled at me and said I could try but they wouldn't accept returns. She then hung up on me. I went to the store on my next day off (3 days later) and asked to speak to the store manager, I was told he was at another store that day. I explained the whole situation again. The person I spoke with was professional, but said they don't accept returns and all sales are final. I canceled the storage bed, headboard and mirror since I hadn't recieved them yet. I asked to have the store manager call me, and he has yet to do that. Given how responsive he was when I entered the store, I don't think he wouldn't reach out of the message had been passed along. The associates there have ruined any future business I might have had at the store. I was able to find the same bed and mirror at Michael's Fine Furniture in Gresham for less and am awaiting my new order from a different store For the cost of two pillows at $134 each, they lost the sale of the bed frame, headboard and mirror totaling more than $1200.00 and any future business from me.

Bought two recliners a year ago. One completely failed and falls over to one side when reclining. We paid for the 5 year extended warranty. Called in a claim and was denied because when asked when it broke I didn't have the exact date. Pathetic warranty!! Absolute garbage product and warranty coverage.

I purchased $9200 dollars in furniture from Ashley Furniture. I then got scammed into purchasing an extended warranty. The salesman told me the warranty would cover any damage to recliner. He didn’t tell me it covers only 5 things and there is 37 exclusions to the warranty. I purchased a recliner for $1700 dollars and it is less than 2 years old and it is already discoloring. My couch next to me I didn’t purchase from Ashley furniture and I have had it for 5 years with zero discoloration. My final opinion is any company with 3.6 review rating has earned their complaints and should be avoided. Wish I would have read their reviews before purchasing. If you are reading this at least you have been warned. Ashley Furniture quality is not good and their salesman will lie to you to get a little bonus.

I had a great customer service experience with Laura W. at the Clackamas location! Laura was incredibly informative about a range of products and was both patient and cheerful when helping me pick out items for my new apartment. I was especially impressed by her knowledge concerning the right mattress based on personal needs, and she saved me a lot of time and hassle by helping me pick the right one in store. You always remember shopping experiences based on who helped you; I ended up getting most of my apartment furnishings from Ashley over another store because I believe in the products and I was happy to be helped by someone so personable and professional. The sales lady was very nice. My mom received her bed and it's way taller than she said she is usinga woodenboxto getintobed. (unsafe to get out of in the middle of the night) 1 week later in the middle of the night a slat broke tried calling the store several times and no answers, finally got a hold of someone in Minnesota and there answer was "oh well" She is going back to the store today.

This review only has to do with their location and parking lot situation. Be extremely careful when you turn in from 82nd Ave., the concrete barrier is in a weird location which forces many cars driving over it. Since the ground is slopping downward, this will cause grinding and damaging the bottom of your car. While I was there, this happened to another car and he actually got stuck on the large rock. This must have happened to multiple cars each month; the parking lot needs to be fixed!!

Incredibly nervous and uncomfortable staff, will circle you like vultures on carrion the moment you arrive. After we picked out a couch and sofa we left to think on it, called back later to buy, and had a saleswoman tried to steal the sale out from the guy who was helping us by saying he was off for the day when he wasn't - more vulture behavior. We were given an exact delivery date which we prepared for, day of we found out the delivery was going to be delayed for a few more days. We thought, okay, not that big of a deal - we can wait a couple days. Delivery day arrives and they call us saying it will be delayed even further - 5 more days. By this point we are ready to go somewhere else. I call the store multiple times trying to get ahold of anyone, waiting a half-hour with the phone ringing nonstop waiting for someone to pick up. I asked if they could at least comp us for Assembly when the couches finally arrived (we ordered doorstep delivery). They declined. Manager swore up and down they would arrive by the new planned date. WELL GUESS WHAT? Just got another call that they are delayed yet another week. ARE THERE COUCHES? WHEN WILL THEY ARRIVE, ASHLEY? Needless to say we cancelled our order and are never going back. Good God. Edited: Just look at the response from the store, AI generated full of typo's and repeats, absolute garbage reply. I NEVER GOT MY ITEMS BECAUSE I CANCELLED THEM LOL

Great Customer Service, beautiful store

This will probably be our last time purchasing from Ashley—although we have used them for our furniture for every place we have lived up to this point and always liked the items we have owned. For this round of furniture, our order was backordered but then if we selected the exact same units in a different way, they were not backordered. Additionally, half of our furniture was randomly shipped via FedEx? And was scheduled for a much earlier delivery (almost a month) to a house we don’t have the keys for yet—without talking to me first. I called (on Wednesday) and asked them to cancel the delivery before the Friday “shipping date” and they told me it was too late. I told them they cannot deliver to the address because we don’t live there yet. They did it anyway. I had to go pick up this heavy furniture by myself from people I don’t know and stuff it into my car and then carry it up 3 flights of stairs to my current apartment. I reordered the bedroom set with a set delivery date again. They emailed me several days later canceling my order without any explanation. I had to call to track down an answer and found out it’s because my shipping address and billing address were different? And they required me to go to a physical store and order in person if I wanted that furniture. There are only two stores in this part of our state. I drove down there. The gentleman at the store was extremely kind and said that’s not their policy and apologized they had done that (he said they should not have). He was not able to give me a discount because he said Ashley is cracking down on discounts (??) but got my items reordered. For thousands of dollars per item of furniture, this is just not something I’m willing to deal with. It’s been a good run, and I appreciate the kindness of the salespeople in stores but their customer service lines are run by people who could not care less about you. Their online service is a mess. This is where we part ways. Had a flawless, excellent experience at the next furniture store we tried (Key Home!) and will be sticking with them in the future.

I will be moving into a new place and need to furnish just about the entire thing. I had purchased from Ashley Furniture prior with great results and came back again. Jeanna has been an absolute delight to work with, very personable and knowledgeable without being pushy, great qualities! I took advantage of a very generous financing option and now have peace of mind that I will have great furniture to use for a long time in my new place.
