The sales agent was quick to understand our need. Then, she returned periodically as we shopped to direct us to more examples of what we were looking for. Just the right touch. Check-out was thorough, with reminders to check the merchandise before signing the delivery slip. Well done, Elena.

My friend and I came to look at couches and we left with a couch and feeling like we had just made a new friend. Worst experience ever. DONOT BUY FROM THIS STORE. THEY DONT pick up your call. I bought a recliner sofa 4 weeks ago that was scheduled for delivery. However, the delivery person came without the right folks to carry the furniture up the stairs to the media room where I wanted it. They took it back to the warehouse and attempted to deliver again 3 days later again without enough people to carry. I have been attempting to call customer service and the store and have been getting a runaround without any way to resolve the situation. This is absolutely atrocious that after paying an hefty amount of money there is no support or customer service.

It was a straightforward transaction and very pleasant customer service. We went into the store and were immediately helped by Jeanie. We set a delivery date for a large sectional couch, and she told us we would be emailed the week of delivery, which we were. We were texted the delivery window the day before and called with a 38-minute window the day of delivery. The delivery even unfolded an hour early. Overall I would recommend this location.

Didn’t expect anything, but was completely surprised by the quality of the furniture. Ended up falling in “love” with a loveseat! Cory helped us a lot and I really appreciate his help.

Worst customer service ever. No one is taking the responsibility to provide a delivery date for the defected items they delivered. The original order was also delivered one week later from the initial scheduled date and almost all the items had damages.

Too poor customer service I didn’t expect such a bad experience

The buying experience was good with the associate who helped us. Very courteous and professional. However, our order got delayed 1 week. When delivery day came received another notification that it would again be delayed 1 more day. Only 2/3 items ordered were delivered. It's been 2 weeks since original delivery day and we still have yet to receive any updates on the last item. We tried calling, but no one would provide any solutions to the issues. Terrible customer service.

I’m not much for writing reviews but I just feel like James Berry from Ashley’s really deserves it!! After having visited several furniture stores, I was already thinking that a good salesman who doesn’t want to stiff you doesn’t exist 😭 but James was absolutely genuine and extremely helpful! Not only is he the nicest salesman you’ll meet but he really does his best to help you! I really encourage people to check out this store and ask for James Berry (with the hair and glasses). Visiting the store and the buying process was easy and quick however the delivery experience was another hurdle. My suggestion: do not offer a delivery date if you can’t make it. I based my decision on the fact the sofa was available and not in back order however the day BEFORE the delivery date was pushed back almost a month 🙄😖… I was so disappointed

Two weeks ago, we were in the market for a sofa and loveseat and went to sit in as many as we could. Jim greeted us right away and showed us around the store giving us a lot of information to help us make a decision. We found the set we wanted but didn’t buy that night wanting to make sure we were confident in our decision but, because Jim is a great guy, we promised to come back and only purchase through him. And purchase we did! Great and easy experience with Jim leading the way.

Salesman Mark was great at helping me find a rocker recliner that fit my budget. I'm giving his salesmanship a high rating, and will follow up with another rating upon delivery of my chair. Hoping the delivery stands up to the salesmanship. Will advise at a later date!!

This was the worst experience ever!! No response by email. No help from the store. Unable to deliver a couch for over a month. No explanation. No help. In the end I had to cancel the order, still paying for a delivery fee in which the couch wasn’t delivered.

Was looking at an Entertainment center with fire place has a tag saying $800 nothing saying you gotta pay for items separately until you flip the tag over in very small hand writing says actually if you want the item your looking at its $1299 just kinda shady and ridiculous been to many furniture stores and this is a first time experience but also $1299 for a TV stand with heater come on.... there $150 on fb market place sales people are nice that's why I gave a 3 star

The associate (Jeanna Lavalley) who assisted me was knowledgeable and took the time to help me find the right piece. I have come to depend on Ashley for affordable, quality furniture. The chair/ottoman I purchased arrived in excellent shape. It was firmer than the sample I tried in the store but this isn't necessarily a bad thing. Comments on the softer models criticized them for not holding their shape over time. That tells me Ashley listens to its customer feedback.

This place is very unprofessional. They stated they tried to deliver to our address only to find out they went to the wrong house and refused to return to deliver on the expected day and wanted us to wait another week for delivery. The customer service line is very unprofessional.

The sales rep almost got me today. She was very misleading and was just a liar. We were told that if prices go down for a memorial day sale, we could call and get the discount retroactively. She told us that pilling would not happen with the fabric we were looking at, but if it does, the additional protection coverage would take care of it. Both of these things are not true now that im home and on the FAQs section of the website. She priced out our configuration for $600 more than it totals when I build it online. I'm so glad I didn't make a purchase today!

Everything was short and to the point. Questions answered. Except for the computer glitch all went well. The only thinfg I was dissapointed in ,is you had no light colors for furniture which is what I wanted to start with other than white, beige and grey. Had to change my plans. Thank you

The salesman was friendly and helpful. We purchased a sectional. No mention of delivery fees until I went to pay. No offer for the extended warranty. Then when I found the same couch at a lower price somewhere else, there was no price matching. My only option was to cancel. I still have not been provided a delivery date not even an estimated time frame. Sadly disappointed at the end result.

Wish I could leave 0 stars. I went in to purchase a 3 piece set. Was given a delivery date, a week later, they pushed the date out by 2 weeks. I had them called and asked for a partial delivery since 2/3 if my items were ready. They said yes this will be delivered. I confirmed this with 3 different people throughout 2 days and then they called to say oh it won’t be until x/xx which was 2 weeks later. Nope. Cancelled my order and went else where. My story dosnt sound so bad but this was very frustrating Long story short, expect a long delivery and horrible communication and customer service

I had a wonderful experience working with Jim today while ordering new living room furniture. I tried to purchase it all online, however, there was an issue with their website. I called the store directly and was quickly transferred to Jim who was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable about the items that I was ordering. I ordered a bed frame from this company they did not deliver all the pieces to the bed frame I called and they gave me the run around regarding getting the pieces to the bed frame the manger jerral was very rude and un professional with the matter, I wound not recommend this to no one and I will be making a complaint to the BBB to.

I bought a couch from them and I need replacement parts but its past my warranty date so I have to pay for them which is fine but they will not help me in ordering them as i cannot do it through the online system. *to clarify i DID call the closest store to me and asked them to order the parts and had the serial numbers and item numbers. The associate genevive assured me she would assist but was unsure of how to order them and directed me to order them online even though i had already told her it was past warranty so i couldnt. She advised she would call me back three weeks ago. Since i have been unable to reach the store and got no call back.

Sales Staff are very friendly and not pushy. Selection is good wish color selection were better. Delivery pricing is a bit high and have had issues with them in the past, will see how it goes this time!

We couldn’t get the furniture when we need it but it will come next month! Our bed does come this week and that is great, we need it by this weekend. We are moving our 98 yr old mom to a care center so we knew Ashley’s would have all our needs. Our salesperson was VERY knowledgeable and really helped us with all we needed!

Went into this location looking for a couch (I wasn't looking for a full set yet) to finally upgrade my home. Once I tell the sales person my budget she shows me one couch and disappears. I'm left wondering the store trying to see what else is in my price range. Feeling frustrated and ignored I left and came back the next day. Did some research online and found two sets in my price range. The same sales lady greeted me. I told her the couches and she was only able to show me one (due to inventory). I ask her if there are any other sets or couches in that price range and again I feel brushed off. I ended up really liking the first set so I decided to apply. During applying for the financing application and I was pushed off onto another sales person. I was approved for the application but there was an issue with my bank. So I go to the front desk and talk with them and they don't accept my online bank (fine, I get it). At this point I'm debating on paying for the set in full. I ask if there are other options for payments and I was told "we don't do layaway". I'm feeling humiliated at this point and judged at this point. Highly don't recommend this store. Went to Mor's and found a beautiful couch, ottoman and chair. They took the time and made me feel important.

Mr Cory Rogers at Ashley Furniture was very helpful, patient and friendly with assisting my wife and I with our living furniture items purchases.

My husband and I recently completed a remodel, and were in need of several pieces of new furniture. The first time we visited Ashley, James helped us. He was very patient and attentive, even carrying a couple of dining chairs from one end of the store to the other so we could see how they looked with a dining table. He spent a lot of time walking around the store with us and showing us various items that we were interested in. James also saved our items in a cart, so that they would be available for us when we were ready to buy. The next time we stopped in, James wasn't there, but Cory Rogers helped us. He, too, spent a lot of time walking around the store with us, and finding the manager so that we could have all of our questions answered. He even brought us pillows to use when we were trying out mattresses! There was no pressure from either James or Cory to buy, which is very refreshing. They both seemed to be more concerned with us being happy with our purchase than with making a sale. Overall, it was a good experience!

We initially stopped in just to start looking at a few furniture options we would need after our remodel was complete. James, a floor sales rep, made our acquaintance and was very helpful, answering many questions for us. He also was nice enough to track the items we wanted, and put them in a virtual “cart” on his tablet for future reference. We left that day, and came back a few days later. Unfortunately, James had already left for the day, but another sales rep, Cory Rogers, was able to pick up where we left off with by pulling up our virtual “cart” of items from before. After confirming with us that everything in the cart was correct, Cory continued helping us with some additional items we asked about and he was very patient and kind. My wife asked about the Purple brand of mattresses, and so Cory took us over to that part of the store and showed us the various options that we could test out. He also brought us a few different pillows to try out while we were lying on the mattresses to see if we liked any of them. We were pretty interested in the medium density mattress, and Cory proceeded to tell us about the promotional sale that was going on with those mattresses. He was very attentive to our needs, but never pushy. We decided to get the Purple mattress but not the pillows. He never once tried to pressure us into getting anything more than what we vocalized that we wanted. It was a real relief to have someone helping us who was genuinely concerned with just helping us get the best deals on the actual furniture pieces we wanted. Thank you, James and Cory, for being such a pleasure to work with!

We went in with the family to look at living room furniture and a bedroom set for my daughter and we were sitting down talking about what we saw and what we should do based off our finances etc when one of the salesman asked a question and before we could respond said “are you going to respond to me, you are in a store and it’s my job to greet you”. I was very offended for one, my husband and I are both vets who have PTSD and one of our kids has special needs so we tend to try and be in a calm environment before we get overwhelmed. Let’s just say we left immediately and won’t be back…and purchased a couch (same one) and bedroom furniture at a Canby furniture outlet store where they are always accommodating. Terrible customer service with this one guy who should get better customer service training.

We really love this place. We were attended by the salesman Jim, very professional and friendly.

The furniture is good. I hope that it holds up. However the delivery option that we paid for was ridiculous. We paid for the delivery and set up and removal of garbage. I cant even go into details of the delivery but it was more than irritating. Even when we left special instructions mutltiple times with multiple people it still was messed up. I would not EVER pay them a dime for the delivery service option.

We ordered our couch on January 8. It was supposed to be delivered on January 20. I got a call on January 19 at 3:00 PM to tell me it was back ordered due to manufacture delays. THE DAY BEFORE THE SCHEDULED DELIVERY! I had already confirmed delivery 3 different times. And so I rescheduled delivery for January 26. I took time off work to be home for the white glove delivery we paid extra for. I confirmed the delivery 3 times. I even got a text stating the scheduled time of my delivery. Then on January 25, I got a call, again, telling me there is once again manufacturer delays and the couch is again back ordered. Again, THE DAY BEFORE THE DELIVERY! After I had already confirmed the delivery 3 times AND gotten a scheduled delivery time the day before the delivery RIGHT BEFORE THE CALL! So now they have me scheduled for February 6. Almost an entire MONTH after I placed my order. This is absolutely ridiculous and extremely unprofessional. The manufacturer should know more than a day in advance if the item will be ready or not and customers should have far more notice. They should not be making promises they cannot keep. To have this happen twice in a row is just bad business.

We stopped in to look at couches. James (Jim) Berry stepped right up and helped us find what we were looking for. Unfortunately,they couldn't deliver to Coos Bay from this store and I didn't have my trailer. He still helped us find it at another location and sacrificed his commission to make sure we were taken care of. His people skills and service were supreme. My wife and I highly suggest giving this store a chance and look for James Berry. Help take care of that commission check he missed with us.

We have had the worst experience at this store. The employees, managers and rest of the staff are so unprofessional. From a discontinued couch with no explanation and after several calls to the store with no response we had to go in 3 different times to eventually have to settle for the floor model and then had to pick it up and move it our self. And that’s only the first couch the second one was supposed to be delivered today by 12:30 and after calling twice once at 1pm where I was told it was on the way, then again at 2pm after being on the phone for 30 minutes only to find out the deliver had been delayed for another 3 days. There has been no communication without us contacting the store. We will never shop with Ashley again. We still have unresolved issues with our financing due to delivery charges and the protection plan that we bought. Due to us buying the floor model the protection plan does not cover that couch. So I’m sure it will be another at least mont trying to get whatever credits are due. This whole situation is a disaster and I wish we had never walked into this store!.

We were greeted shortly as we entered the store, and was guided to the area of lift recliners. Even though inventory was limited we found exactly what we wanted. The sales person was very helpful and we never felt pressured at any time. We were able to get the item delivered in a reasonable amount of time. Hopefully their delivery and set up service will be equally up to standards. I will most likely return to shop and ask for the same sales person. It was a good experience.

We came in, were greeted by Bobbi who asked if we need any help. We told him we’d like to take a look around first and he left us alone and told us “Let me know if you need anything!” We were greeted by one more person at the other end of the store who asked if we’d been helped and when we told them we had, they also told us to let them know if we needed anything! It was amazing, I was able to talk with my partner about what we wanted without a constant reminder that there are salespeople everywhere. We ended up going back to Bobbi and asking if they had any pull out couches available. He showed us the few that they had and left us alone to discuss. We ended up buying a couch which was in our price range and would be delivered by the time we need it. It was a great experience and changed my mind about Ashley!

It's a furniture store....

I would give 5 stars, and it was there BUT!!!! I'm having furniture delivered. the lady that helped me was super nice, but its like I was LIED TO! She told me everything was going to come to my house on this date, only to look at my receipt to see that my entertainment center wasn't on there, We couldn't thru with a phone call and had to call another location only to find out ITS ON BACKORDER! No one told us anything, so not only is it on BACKORDER but we have to wait for FedEx to deliver it and now we have to build it, and add the fire place into it when we were told everything will come at one day and would be built by the team. I wished they would of told us it was backordered and we would have order something different. Really disappointed with the lack of communication and now we are missing furniture with our order. So frustrating!!!!!!! Really am disappointed as we had a good experience and this is just to much that i had to remove stars.

Went to Ashley's to purchase a recliner and ended buying a dinning room set instead. Jeanna was knowledgeable about a range of products and guided us in our purchase.

I went in to see a few couches and Sat on one and got stabbed with a needle. I told the Manger and he said maybe it was mine and it was in my pocket. I was in shock still so I just left and drove to the hospital to get checked out the nurse said I might have hiv or something and I'm going to need to take alot of medication 💊. Please beware of this place and where u sit in pdx .

When we first called Ashley in Clackamas to see if they had the dining room set on the floor for us to look at, we received a upbeat and positive greeting. The salesperson who came to the phone knew what she had available to look at encouraged us to come take a look. Our sales person didn't need to look anything up or put us on hold. When we got to the store the sales person whom we talked on the phone with was busy but the manager was very helpful and made sure that the sales person got the credit/commission for the sale. She was the reason why we took the drive from Vancouver to Clackamas.

Jeanna was a delight, she helped us to find the right sofa & recliner for our home. The prices were much less than I expected as well & delivery will only be a few days away. Very happy!

AVOID AVOID AVOID online ordering. I ordered a king bed, two nightstands, and two lamps. 5 days later they CANCELED my bed order! Why? No explanation given. They have good quality products, but I suggest picking it up in person at the store. Edit: Tried to give them another chance as it only took a minute after we were told by the sales lady we can’t purchase two nightstands that are on the floor. It’s ok, we found everything somewhere else. I will never come back here. How does this place even stay in business?

This place is super quick to sell you a product and take your money. But beware.. If your buying an item off the showroom floor, come ready to break it all down and move it out they’re doors yourself. Once you’ve spent the money your on your own!

Do not go into this store and purchase anything. Horrible customer service and misleading return policies and sales staff. We purchased a couch and loveseat, they delivered it to the carport, it would not fit through the door and when we called the same day to return it because we couldn't even get it in our house they said they would not return it. We were misled about the dimensions by the sales staff, were never informed that there is no return policy when purchasing in store. This is a very expensive couch and the way we are being treat is awful. I will be leaving a review every day on every platform until this company decides to make this right by returning this couch.

I was looking for a couch. Ashley was recommended to me through a friend. I found the couch that fit my needs. I went out to buy it and it was a easy process. I new what wanted and it took about twenty minutes to do the transaction. The sales person was very helpful.

First visit, the salespeople weren’t especially friendly, but were very watchful. Second visit I was pleased to be helped by Jeanna. She was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and not pushy.

EDIT: I am frustrated to be making this update but the service after walking off the showroom floor has been terrible. First, my initial delivery date was cancelled and nobody told me. I called the store for days and they either didn’t answer or picked up and immediately disconnected. I called every customer service and corporate number for Ashley and their only suggestion was that they would “try to call the store for me” - but the store didn’t answer their calls either. Finally, I drove all the way to the store to talk to a manager because I had no furniture to sit on until it arrived. That’s when I learned that my furniture delivery could be rescheduled for the following week but that the battery packs needed to operate the furniture come separately by mail. So, I’m paying a premium for delivery and set up for furniture that can’t be set up. The manager said he would send me tracking info for the batteries but never did. So, I’m finally getting my thousands of dollars worth of recliners but can’t recline and have no idea when the batteries will come. I am guessing they didn’t warn me about this delay because I could have bought the batteries cheaper and faster on Amazon. — My salesman Bobby listened to me and was able hone right in on exactly what I was looking for. The store had lots of choices, but he was obviously very knowledgeable and helped me narrow it down pretty quickly, which was awesome.

We bought furniture a bunch of stuff and we were sold a plan protection plan. A month after getting the furniture our sofa had a frame break. We were told the protection plan company went out of business and there was a brand new protection company. And we were out of luck. The salesman told me when I came in numerous times to try to deal with this that every year or so their protection plan company goes out of business and they're part of Ashley Furniture. I would avoid this company at all costs. In addition to this issue we purchased a reclinable movie theater sofa and there's been our Nationwide recall for a fire hazard and Ashley's solution to fixing my LED light up movie theater sofa that I paid $15 or $1,800 for is to disconnect the lights. I bought the sofa because it had lights. What a Bad Bad Company. Buyer beware avoid this really bad company.

I give two stars because my initial experience was great. I was met by the store manager. Instead of passing me off to a sales associate, he proceeded to help me find the furniture I was looking for. I was initially skeptical about the Purple Pillow, but I was told it was one of the best for getting a good night's sleep. When my furniture arrived, the headboard for the storage bed was damaged, so I sent the whole bed back and accepted the dressers and night stand. I had also noticed the dresser mirror wasn't originally part of the order, so i contacted the store and purchased the mirror over the phone. The first night I tried to sleep on the Purple Pillow, it was horrible. After 20 minutes of being uncomfortable, I took the pillows off the bed and resorted back to my old pillows. I contacted the store the next day to see if I could return them (Purple Pillow has a 100 night guarantee) only to be told by the girl who answered the phone that they don't accept returns. I explained that I just spent a sizable amount of money at their store and only wanted to return the items that cost the least amount, and perhaps I should return my entire order. She chuckled at me and said I could try but they wouldn't accept returns. She then hung up on me. I went to the store on my next day off (3 days later) and asked to speak to the store manager, I was told he was at another store that day. I explained the whole situation again. The person I spoke with was professional, but said they don't accept returns and all sales are final. I canceled the storage bed, headboard and mirror since I hadn't recieved them yet. I asked to have the store manager call me, and he has yet to do that. Given how responsive he was when I entered the store, I don't think he wouldn't reach out of the message had been passed along. The associates there have ruined any future business I might have had at the store. I was able to find the same bed and mirror at Michael's Fine Furniture in Gresham for less and am awaiting my new order from a different store For the cost of two pillows at $134 each, they lost the sale of the bed frame, headboard and mirror totaling more than $1200.00 and any future business from me.

Bought two recliners a year ago. One completely failed and falls over to one side when reclining. We paid for the 5 year extended warranty. Called in a claim and was denied because when asked when it broke I didn't have the exact date. Pathetic warranty!! Absolute garbage product and warranty coverage.

I purchased $9200 dollars in furniture from Ashley Furniture. I then got scammed into purchasing an extended warranty. The salesman told me the warranty would cover any damage to recliner. He didn’t tell me it covers only 5 things and there is 37 exclusions to the warranty. I purchased a recliner for $1700 dollars and it is less than 2 years old and it is already discoloring. My couch next to me I didn’t purchase from Ashley furniture and I have had it for 5 years with zero discoloration. My final opinion is any company with 3.6 review rating has earned their complaints and should be avoided. Wish I would have read their reviews before purchasing. If you are reading this at least you have been warned. Ashley Furniture quality is not good and their salesman will lie to you to get a little bonus.

I had a great customer service experience with Laura W. at the Clackamas location! Laura was incredibly informative about a range of products and was both patient and cheerful when helping me pick out items for my new apartment. I was especially impressed by her knowledge concerning the right mattress based on personal needs, and she saved me a lot of time and hassle by helping me pick the right one in store. The sales lady was very nice. My mom received her bed and it's way taller than she said she is usinga woodenboxto getintobed. (unsafe to get out of in the middle of the night) 1 week later in the middle of the night a slat broke tried calling the store several times and no answers, finally got a hold of someone in Minnesota and there answer was "oh well" She is going back to the store today.

This review only has to do with their location and parking lot situation. Be extremely careful when you turn in from 82nd Ave., the concrete barrier is in a weird location which forces many cars driving over it. Since the ground is slopping downward, this will cause grinding and damaging the bottom of your car. While I was there, this happened to another car and he actually got stuck on the large rock. This must have happened to multiple cars each month; the parking lot needs to be fixed!!

Incredibly nervous and uncomfortable staff, will circle you like vultures on carrion the moment you arrive. After we picked out a couch and sofa we left to think on it, called back later to buy, and had a saleswoman tried to steal the sale out from the guy who was helping us by saying he was off for the day when he wasn't - more vulture behavior. We were given an exact delivery date which we prepared for, day of we found out the delivery was going to be delayed for a few more days. We thought, okay, not that big of a deal - we can wait a couple days. Delivery day arrives and they call us saying it will be delayed even further - 5 more days. By this point we are ready to go somewhere else. I call the store multiple times trying to get ahold of anyone, waiting a half-hour with the phone ringing nonstop waiting for someone to pick up. I asked if they could at least comp us for Assembly when the couches finally arrived (we ordered doorstep delivery). They declined. Manager swore up and down they would arrive by the new planned date. WELL GUESS WHAT? Just got another call that they are delayed yet another week. ARE THERE COUCHES? WHEN WILL THEY ARRIVE, ASHLEY? Needless to say we cancelled our order and are never going back. Good God. Edited: Just look at the response from the store, AI generated full of typo's and repeats, absolute garbage reply. I NEVER GOT MY ITEMS BECAUSE I CANCELLED THEM LOL

Great Customer Service, beautiful store

This will probably be our last time purchasing from Ashley—although we have used them for our furniture for every place we have lived up to this point and always liked the items we have owned. For this round of furniture, our order was backordered but then if we selected the exact same units in a different way, they were not backordered. Additionally, half of our furniture was randomly shipped via FedEx? And was scheduled for a much earlier delivery (almost a month) to a house we don’t have the keys for yet—without talking to me first. I called (on Wednesday) and asked them to cancel the delivery before the Friday “shipping date” and they told me it was too late. I told them they cannot deliver to the address because we don’t live there yet. They did it anyway. I had to go pick up this heavy furniture by myself from people I don’t know and stuff it into my car and then carry it up 3 flights of stairs to my current apartment. I reordered the bedroom set with a set delivery date again. They emailed me several days later canceling my order without any explanation. I had to call to track down an answer and found out it’s because my shipping address and billing address were different? And they required me to go to a physical store and order in person if I wanted that furniture. There are only two stores in this part of our state. I drove down there. The gentleman at the store was extremely kind and said that’s not their policy and apologized they had done that (he said they should not have). He was not able to give me a discount because he said Ashley is cracking down on discounts (??) but got my items reordered. For thousands of dollars per item of furniture, this is just not something I’m willing to deal with. It’s been a good run, and I appreciate the kindness of the salespeople in stores but their customer service lines are run by people who could not care less about you. Their online service is a mess. This is where we part ways. Had a flawless, excellent experience at the next furniture store we tried (Key Home!) and will be sticking with them in the future.

I am editing my review from 5-star to 1-star. Ashley furniture showed their true colors. I purchased a sofa and bought the warranty. I filed a claim and was told I had to return to place of purchase (San diego) to replace the sofa. When I contacted the Ashley here in Happy Valley, they said they never heard of me even after purchasing more furniture from this location. Don't trust this company...There are more reputable furniture companies. Buyer beware!

Hi, I initially been on the hunt for a sofa sleeper. I called at this Ashley this particular location of 82nd and Portland and the gentleman on the phone said they don’t have any sleepers or even to order them in their library. He wasn’t much of a help and I don’t think he wanted to do anything for me, however. Store today and just realized convenient, maybe I should go in and I went in and met Laura Weaver. She gave me hope for retail sales and customer service. Because that phone call with the guy the day before sure put a bad taste in my mouth. She knew that I already bought the couch but they had the same one there that was a regular couch not a sleeper and I got to make sure it was the right purchase, and make sure that it fits in my doorway of my bedroom, which is narrow. She even had a tape measure on her ready to go. She knew she was going to make a buck on me, but you still hung out and just answered every question I had couldn’t believe it. This is what America customer service needs she would be a great trainer for young kids these days it’s kind of a dying breed. My dad was a salesman for Smith’s home furnishing for 40 years in and that he was also a manufacturer for Maytag customer service anyways God bless you Laurel Weaver you should be compensated by this company because you make them look good.

It was just kind of hard to find very pleasant people

I purchased a sofa, chair and ottoman on Tuesday June 6th. The sales person said they would deliver on Friday the 9th between 1-4, after waiting all day no delivery so I called at 4. They said they had a record of it, but someone took it off the schedule. Nobody seem to know why. I had arranged help and also gave away my old couch. They were not helpful and said they could deliver the following Tuesday. They would not compensate at all not even set it up for me since my help could not come back on that day. Ashley on 82nd in Clackamas Oregon.

My wife and I were looking for a nice dining room table, we found it at Ashley, and a few other quality items. We received excellent service from sales rep. Laura Weaver, she very helpful providing us with a selection and setting up the delivery. The delivery guys also did an excellent job.

Went it to purchase two sofas and a salesmen that goes by the name Jim(James) helped us out all I can say is next time I purchase furniture my first choice would be Ashley and if Jim wasn’t there I would wait and come back when he was working he was such a excellent salesperson in every aspect. Great furniture store !

Staff is indifferent. The company seems more inclined to just collect data on you as opposed to actually sell you something. Everything is shown as a price but does not include mention of other things that would go with an item(I wanted to buy a dining room table for a price I thought was reasonable just to find out the chairs were extra and were going to cost double what the table was shown for). The delivery fee is a gouge and a half.

My husband and I had proceeds from a house sale and we wanted to be sure to furnish the house the right way. The Ashly brand recognition was a significant influence on our purchasing decision so we bought a couch from the Clackamas location. 1st, the installation crew who showed up to our house, installed the couch as if they were in a race. They didn’t care less and just handed me the papers to sign. Within a year, our couch structurally failed. Each Ashley representative we show the pictures to has a visceral reaction and says something like, “Oh, a couch isn’t supposed to look like that”, In fact, when any representative needs a reminder about who we are, we are described as the person with the "ugly couch". We event bought the extended warranty and still can't get our couch repaired, replaced or refunded. We get continual delay tactics. We have to be the proactive ones to call or come in. We've been trying to get the couch fixed almost as as long we have owned the sofa. As I walk around their store room and see that wood isn’t wood anymore, but a paper lament over press board. It's difficult enough as a consumer that products are inferior but it's even worse when the extended warranty isn’t even honored. Horrible communication and horrible customer service. DON'T BUY HERE!!!! When contacting Ashley Corporate, here was their reply: Ashley I completely understand the disappointment, and I would have felt the same had, I have been in your position. I would want to sincerely apologize for the experience you have faced. As per the last update on your case 08135224. Team stated that since GBS denied, and we are unable to provide parts for you to purchase - their only other option is to be refunded for your FPP plan. Below GBS has provided the refund prorated information for processing. Had a horrible experience with the acting store manager since he kept talking over and ultimately lied to me since I specifically wanted to talk with the store manager after he was being rude and then he claimed to be the store manager. At the end of our conversation he told me who he was which wasn’t the store manager! This all happened after I was shipped damaged furniture and wanted it replaced. It was a horrible experience that was unnecessary since they messed up. I will be not doing business with them after them not being able to perform basic customer service and being decent as they do!!! Save the headache and go elsewhere!!!!

Elena was incredible, the whole process was quick and easy. I didn't feel pressured or uncomfortable as some "hard sell" places can be. She showed me lots of different color options and the whole process was a breeze!

My delivery was not completed as promised I'm missing a piece of my bed that no one told me beforehand was going to be missing so now I have no bed and my desk was installed improperly and the customer service to fix the issue has been vague and unhelpful. Update: it's been a week since I have received My furniture fully and completely installed. No issues and everything was done properly this time, the assistant store manager was very clear,upfront, and helpful in resolving the situation.

I wish I would’ve read reviews before I shopped here. Their furniture is sooo cheaply made. The bed frame I bought broke only a couple months after I had it. They came out to “fix” it and it broke again. I have a 10 month old baby that fell thru the part that broke. So dangerous. I called requesting to exchange it and even offering to buy a more expensive, different bed (hoping this one is just a lemon) but they won’t do it. Even after I’ve bought many furniture pieces from them. I don’t want random men coming into my bedroom to “fix” it again. This has been such a headache and a hassle. I wish I never shopped here. I have many rental properties and I wont be shopping here to furnish my homes. I hope they go out of business for horrible customer service and cheap furniture.

We’ve made quite a few purchases at the Clackamas Ashley's. One of the reasons we keep returning is the service and expertise Julie has offered. We can trust that Julie has our best interest in mind and will help us find the best fit for our needs and wants. It’s difficult to find someone like that in todays business world. We have not been disappointed with the quality of any of the furniture pieces we purchased on her recommendation. The store has a large showroom with a lot to choose from, lots of parking, and is conveniently located on 82nd. The variety of product and styles coupled with sales personnel like Julie makes this a great place to buy furniture.

They unwrap the furniture in the yard, it was dirty when they brought it in, and they left mud tracks throughout the house after they delivered it, completely unprofessional. It was supposed to be a white glove delivery. Very disappointed.

Don’t go to any Ashley furniture check their fb or yelp. they delivered half a couch. They customer service is rude talks over you transfer you! Waited set up date to be delivered so we would be home you have to ask about the free delivery! Then they send confirmation texts and emails then half the couch comes just the lounge half and then they said oh we don’t have the main couch! Then says be another month for the main piece! We took the day off to be here for the couch!!

How is this place still open? We bought a couch that was soo cheaply made here & are already back in the market for a new one. And forget anything getting to your house on time & when you have questions getting anybody to answer them. But they will nicely help you while your there to take your money, but after that..nobody knows anything about your furniture it's arrival time & if they do they tell you a date & if it doesn't arrive on that date they just tell you another date till it eventually it arrives. Will never shop here again.

We got an almost full bedroom set in 2021, and since then I’ve had my eye on a dresser to complete it. With the pricing going up over Covid I decided to wait and was keeping an eye online. Came in to look around for couches with my boyfriends mom. Somehow we managed to be in and out within probably 15-20min. Many good options and we were greeted by 3 different employees in the first couple mins. Cory was awesome and very helpful in assisting us. We ended up with a couch, chair, ottoman, coffee table and 2 end tables!

All my living room furniture, bedroom sets have been from Ashley’s. This past weekend after 17 years my bed frame gave out on me but it’s been long 17 years. I went in and started looking to see what interested me. I was hesitant on looking for something new I wanted my same exact bed just a new frame. Corey one of their sales person helped me pick out a great bed frame a new one with drawers, and a new mattress. He helped us sign up for the interest free credit card, choose a good date for us for it to be delivered. I appreciated all the attention he gave us. We came back the next day and we got a dining table and delivered around the same time as our first one and since we ordered so many things we got free delivery. Great experienced. Their manager was very helpful and Corey made the whole process very easy and quick! I went with my mom who didn’t speak any English Corey spoke little Spanish but made her feel comfortable and made her laugh I felt like we were friends. Not just doing business

The showroom is massive, with an incredible selection. The catalog is much larger than they could possibly fit in the store, so they don’t have every item in-store, but they thoughtfully keep things in with each feature, fabric, color, etc so you can get good representation of something not in the store. The staff is friendly, not pushy, knowledgeable, easy going. Would definitely come here first for future needs.

When I asked about Financing options, Ismael (our salesperson) had me fill out a form for what I thought was a pre-approval. Turns out it was actually an application for credit. While I did wind up using financing, I did not realize that I was opening a line of credit at the maximum they wanted to lend to me. This had a negative effect on my credit score and had I known this, I may have opted not to actually use the financing option. Also, Ismael literally took my phone out of my hand to "show me how to leave a review". He had left himself 5-stars. Good thing you can edit. Anyway: Over a month after delivery, I still don't have the hardware for some of the items I've bought, and no honest lead time on when the damaged items would be replaced. My new kitchen table looks great sitting on the floor with no legs, and each time I have called to follow-up on when the hardware for it would be delivered, the shipping date has gotten pushed further and further out. They are now telling me that "the earliest my items can be shipped is may 3rd." It's April 5th. The items were delivered on february 28th. Don't buy from this place.

This place has the worst customer service. I purchased a dining room set and was told that I’d get it the following week. On the day of the delivery I got a call from there customer service. ( my wife took the day off expecting the delivery mind you) I was told the item had been damaged and they would contact me within 24 hours. After a few days I went into the actual store only to be told that they could not do anything. That customer service would call me I then told them I just wanted to get my money back. The sales manager said he couldn’t that customer service would call. I left only to get a call from customer service to tell me I had to go back to the store to get my refund from them. So I did and the same sales manager tells me that he couldn’t do anything that I’d get a call so I explained to him that I already had a he call and they told to go back to the store he then became rude words where exchanged and threatened to 86 me from the store. A sales representative tried to de escalate the situation and the guy kept pushing the issue. Overall the customer service is the worst

My next phone call I was asked to be put on hold after which I was hung up on. So I called back and was asked to be put on hold again, I said no as I didn't want to be hung up on again so they promptly hung up on me. Absolutely terrible customer service would, seriously consider shopping anywhere else first.

I won’t EVER buy here again!! Upon walking into the showroom, you’re greeted with a salesperson who chats with you for a minute and shows you were things are that you’re looking for. Then they proceed to stalk you around the showroom because they’re your designated salesperson, I guess. It was annoying to me. Whatever, I got over it and found a couch that I liked, and I purchased it. Delivery was scheduled on Saturday between 2:45-6:45 pm. I had a feeling all day they wouldn’t show up, and sure enough I was correct. At 6:35 pm I called to see where the delivery driver was, and I was told they’re on delivery 14 and we were delivery 15. I was told the delivery was projected to be here by 6:50 pm. By 8 pm, I called again to see where my couch was and conveniently the store was closed. I stayed up late in hopes my couch would miraculously appear, but it did not. Why was I not called saying my delivery was running late?? I canceled my Saturday plans based on my couch arriving during this 4 hour window… I went to bed angry and woke up angry! I called first thing in the morning and my call was answered by a INTERNATIONAL CALL CENTER. I still cannot reach anyone directly at the store. WHERE THE HELL IS MY COUCH?!?! I WILL NEVER BUY HERE AGAIN!!

Ismael was so helpful, it was the best costumer service I've ever gotten. I came here for a couch at a good price and he gave me exactly what I wanted, and I am quite happy with my purchase and his attentive and helpful service!

We had a great experience at the Clackamas Ashley Store. We're new to the Portland area and had looked just about everywhere for bar stools. We finally found just what we were looking for here, with the help of Elena (who is wonderful, by the way). Great price and nice quality. The stools will be delivered tomorrow. While at the store, we also purchased some artwork that was part of a 70% off sale. So much accomplished in one place!

We purchased a bedroom set from this sorry excuse for a business mid December last year. We were told it would be delivered in February 2022. Well, that date came and went. Then a new date in March. Then May. I went back into the store, no one had any answers when the bedroom set would arrive. Customer service is terrible! We were then told September 23rd. I demanded money back for waiting so long, they gave us $250 back. September 23rd came and went, no call to say it wouldn't be delivered. I called and they said October 9th, that day came and went, no delivery and no call. Then I called and they said November 29th. I stopped into the store today and they said they didn't know when it would be delivered, I guess Nov 29th was just another arbitrary date they gave us? I asked HOW do you NOT KNOW when the bedroom set would be delivered? It's been almost a year and they have NO IDEA WHEN WE WILL GET OUR PURCHASE? The supervisor was rude and unsympathetic. I asked how they can sell furniture that is on the showroom floor and then not produce the goods? For a year!? They were quick to take our $2k though! I asked about giving us the set on the show room floor but it was too big for our room (I had to ask, they didn't offer). I asked for a full refund and they gave back the money minus the $250 they gave back to us for having to wait so long, wow. I will NEVER buy from any Ashley Furniture store ever again. And, customer service in store are rude and unhelpful. And, how do they stay in business with such terrible reviews? I wish we had looked at the reviews before we stepped foot inside the store.

Won't refund my money!!! Original purchase date 6/18/2022. I verified with sales rep my couch, chair and ottoman were IN STOCK at time of ordering. After 2 scheduled delivery dates being changed, they brought a PARTIAL DELIVERY on 7/27/2022. No couch. The biggest piece not delivered. Chair and ottoman wobbled, neither sat flat on my floor. Under the chair the difference between chair legs was I could fit my whole hand palm down underneath a leg. Delivery guys tried adjusting and both furniture pieces still wobbled A LOT. I refused entire delivery on 7/27. Cancelled couch never received, got phone call verification on 7/30 entire order canceled and to expect refund 5 to 10 business days. It's 8/22, no refund, can't reach portland store, no reply to my email and now cust service tells me it's up to the store to refund my payment. I've disputed payment with credit card and I did not receive anything in exchange for payment. I've reviewed my sales order terms and conditions and am due a refund. I'm telling everyone not to purchase from them. Worse customer reply and service. Can't get a hold of, poor quality material worse service. Zero stars.

I had an outrageous experience with this Ashley Furniture store, and Ashley did not take any action when I informed them. There were two main things that went wrong with their service. First, our items were not delivered when Ashley said they would be. They were instead heavily delayed. We ordered a plethora of furniture from Ashley last month. One of these items was 6 chairs. These chairs were all supposed to be delivered together on 7/7. Only four of them arrived on 7/7. The other two arrived weeks later on 7/27. Second, once those two chairs finally arrived, they forgot to do the assembly of them. When they delivered it, they said the warehouse has to assemble it over there before putting it on the truck and that the delivery guys cannot assemble it. The warehouse forgot to assemble them. Now I have two chairs in the box with no assembly (picture attached). This was an unreasonable experience, and I really need Ashley to help.

I know the prices are tempting, but it's NOT worth it! I ordered an entertainment center in NOVEMBER, it's now the end of July. They have scheduled 3 delivery dates, I took the day off work and all 3 were canceled the night before. The unit was finally delivered today. It is damaged and included no hardware or door knobs. The delivery people said they were in the box but....nope. Called to complain and they swear someone will get back to me. I'm not holding my breath.

Terrible experience here. The salesperson sold me the couch and signed me up for the financing before checking the inventory on the item I wanted. After going though the lengthy check out process, it was determined that it would take 8-12 weeks or more to get the item and the salesperson said “sometimes they just don’t get delivered at all.” Poor sales and business management all around at this location.

I ordered furniture in November and still haven’t received one item. I paid thousand of dollars of my purchase out of pocket and was told I would receive my items within 12-16 weeks.. it is now July and they also let me know my order expired (whatever that means). I was also told when I made my purchase I would get a phone call for an update on my delivery every 2 weeks. I did not receive one phone call. After being told 5 different ship dates and then cancelling my order, I had enough. This store also has some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced, by people at this location and over the phone. Kennedy (who works at this store), was super unhelpful and didn’t seem empathetic. Ashley’s is shady and all these reviews speak for themselves. I would consider doing business else where:

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE!!! We had the worst experience, especially with this specific store. We ordered a lot of furniture, over $7,000 worth. We were told that we would have the majority of our items by the following week. We kept getting calls saying it was delayed and after four weeks of this we decided to cancel our order after only receiving one item that we purchased. After fighting tooth and nail we got the orders cancelled and got a refund for the items we never received. Now MONTHS later they are calling us saying we received items that we never received and saying that we owe them over $1,000 and if we don’t pay it we will go to collections. They have HORRIBLE customer service and are terrible to deal with. We will NEVER buy anything from Ashley Furniture again.

If you want to feel ignored and unimportant that is the place for you. We came in on Sunday, walked around for more than 30 minutes. Some Associates were chatting, some on the iPads, some assisting customer. No one greeted us, no one offered their help. I went to customer service to ask for help.

The customer service in the store is great. We bought a sofa a few years ago and had a great experience so thought when we needed to furnish our new home we should go back. We thought wrong. First, we ordered a bed online after we couldn't find anything in store we liked. It arrived damaged and Ashley customer service asked us to send photos. We did and they said they would send replacement parts and we could dispose of the broken ones. Then they shipped an entire new bed and sent UPS to collect the damaged one, after we disposed of the packaging and broken parts. We refused to accept an entire 2nd king size bed, especially when I saw they were charging us for it. After a couple months of back and forth we did get a credit for the broken bed. We also ordered a table and 4 chairs, in the store. The table arrived damaged, they sent a tech out a few days later and he fixed it and did a great job. They only delivered 2 chairs with the table. The 3rd chair came about about 2-3 weeks later, the last one took another month after that, and it was also damaged. I've had this table for about 3 months now and the finish is already peeling off on the top! It looks terrible and I regret purchasing it. We ended up canceling our other orders after huge delays in delivery and the headaches we had with the table and bed. I still love my sofa but the rest of the furniture isn't nearly the same quality and their warehouse/delivery logistics leave a lot to be desired.

Do not! I REPEAT do not purchase ANYTHING from this company and this location specifically! My spouse and I purchased a bedroom set back on the 11th of January 2022 and were told to expect 8 to 12 weeks to receive our purchased items which totalled nearly $4,000. It is now the 19th of June (over 6 months later) and I have YET to have ANY of my phone calls or emails returned?! What kind of company operates like this? I've just recently come home on my break in between fishing in Alaska and I went to the 82nd street location to talk to an Ashley Associate or manager and all they did was refer me to an HR representative that could only tell me " I can't get ahold of anyone in the warehouse to find your products because it's a monday.... I will send you an email once I find something out"?? It has been nearly 2 weeks since that?? To any consumer contemplating buying anything from these guys I HIGHLY recommend exploring other options unless you are content and fully prepared to wait 6 months plus for your products and want 0 lead way and help from any Ashley Associate

My 76 year old grandmother needed a new bed. We called before we went to see if we bought a complete bed would they haul away her old one? They said yes absolutely 💯. So we go down and we started to look at beds. We asked the guy if we purchase this bed you will take the old one right? He said " you know it's so weird you are the second person to say that today but it's not true"...moral of the story we went all the way down there for no reason. Get it together please.

Updated:Dear Company responder- no, i have NOT recieved my items. Earlier this week I called and AGAIN scheduled a delivery, to occur tomorrow, Sat 6/11/22. It's been canceled. Again. And I was AGAIN not informed. I found this out because I had to call the scheduling center to look into it as i did not receive the promised email 48hrs in advance, to let me know what time frame to expect delivery. This issue is NOT fixed. I am shocked at the terrible service i continue to receive. ................ Furniture delivery canceled at the last minute 3 times, yes THREE times. 2 of those, I wasn't even notified of ahead of time. ....i originally ordered these items in September 2021....9 months ago.

Very poorly staffed, Only 1 customer service worker that can actually handle your request whilst the rest of the workers (2 other people) are just talking. I understand why they can’t help us in the customer service side of operations since they haven’t been taught but why is there only 1 customer service? Ashley furniture! Get a new delivery company!! How are you going to make someone wait 6+ months on their furniture have me put off my trip for an extra week because I've already waited so long on this delivery then call me the morning of the delivery an hour before its due to tell me that it won't be delivered. I'm pretty sure I couldn't cancel within up to 24 hours how is it you guys get to do this to people. This trip isn't pleasure this is work! This is meetings with my lawyer! Let this be assured you haven't heard the last from me!!! Update June 26th 2023 I requested within my warranty to have my table fixed that literally started to peel at the top of the table and bow up! I was denied help to fix my table that I was told is so sturdy and basically indestructible will hold up while having kids and a husband and hasn't even lasted a year!! Want to know why it's falling apart less than a year later?? Because the whole thing is made up of veneer and particularlboard!!! That is not what it claims when you buy it! I have furnished my whole house several times with Ashley furniture not to mention gifts for family members... never again!! I feel like a fool! Take my warning and run! By the time you're done spending you can get quality furniture from someone who handmade it and will match your design!

Very poor customer service , I purchased a recliner power sofa around Jan and it is damaged while delivery but their warranty was only 3 days after delivery. We have to purchase a protection plan it sucks .. The store customer sucks they keep on saying the replacement order will deliver soon and dates always keeps on shifting and yet I didn’t received my replacement order. Pin points : to get hold of customer rep you should wait for at least 2-3 hrs for sure and customer service and store customer service doesn’t align at all. Highly recommend NOT PURCHASE ANY GOODS

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM UPDATE: we have not had the furniture for 3 weeks and we STILL have not gotten a refund. Ashley is NO help. Bought this set for nearly $2,000 because it was promised to be delivered and put together a couple days after we bought it. The outsourced delivery company delivered it with missing parts. The 833 number is NOT helpful. The delivery driver didn’t speak english so he couldn’t communicate with Ashley what was missing. They couldn’t make a claim without knowing what was missing. The ONLY solution was to refund us the $199 delivery fee and then make us wait weekSSS for their person to come and assess what is missing. Quality is great but not worth the customer service experience. To top it off the two people behind me had damaged furniture and missing pieces as well. Not worth having parts laying on your floor for weeks. Update: part won’t be in for 3 months and the email blow doesn’t help. Ended up returning the table and chairs.

Absolutely terrible experience. I was delivered multiple wrong pieces and have been trying for almost a month to get Ashley to send me the correct piece. Someone in customer service literally told me, “Oh you will probably get burned on this one” because the order was incorrect on their part. So frustrating. We had a couch ordered that they INSISTED would be here by the 8th. We called the day of to find out they had issues and we weren't getting it until the 11th. The 11th came & we found out our order got cancelled without our knowledge then they said the 20th. Now it's the 24th and we still don't have our couch. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. Now I can't find my order when I call and have to go in again when they open. DO NOT RECOMMEND ever.

I purchased majority of my furniture and the furniture insurance from here. I filed a claim for my table that was damaged. The insurance confirmed my damage and approved my claim. They cc me the confirmation number and approval that they sent to Ashley furniture. For some apparent reason Ashley advised that they did not have anything in their file. It’s been almost two years dealing with them trying to receive my table. The insurance company even conference called this Ashley furniture and they advised don’t have anything to do with it, to call corporate. The corporate office has yet to call me back after calling them everyday. I will never suggest any Ashley furniture store to anyone. Their customer service is atrocious at best! They clearly only care about customers when they’re giving them money.

I purchased almost $2000.00 worth of furniture in March. A couch, a table set of 3 and two lamps in store. The staff was friendly enough but getting my furniture delivered is another thing. Almost a month later I finally got my couch and lamps. And although the website says my tables are in stock and deliverable, I just received a new delivery date for the end of May! I can't use the lamps because I don't have the tables to set them on. Customer service is a joke as is receiving my complete purchase. They took my money no problem but getting my furniture to me is another thing. Bad on you Ashley Furniture!

This is the worst experience I’ve had with purchasing furnitures. Our partial delivery was supposed to come 04/11/22 but it never did. No one bothered to call us to tell us what happened. We’re called Customer Service (CS) many times. They kept saying someone will contact us within 24-48 hrs to reschedule. I also called this store 2 times, I waited on the phone for 45 mins one time and 1hr for the second time but no one answered. It’s been 9 days and we have no clues when we’re gonna receive our furnitures. We’re paid 5k for everything. We should expect a better service from you. Absolute worst experience I have ever had. Initially had high expectations but at this point I'm over. I just called and after 10min of holding it told me to call back during normal business hours which happens to be 7am to 7pm mon-fri I'm writing this right after that happened.... It's 5:15pm on Friday 4/14. Thankfully I write everything down I had to call their corporate office and and they couldn't even get q hold of them. Going on a month and a half waitinf on deliver. I'll try and keep updated. Anyways it's May 26th now still haven't received my order I just want my money back at this point PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY IT IS MISERABLE... I have also made two more calls they said they were going to email me for a date and time and they never did. So I'm back to calling them again I don't know what's going on with this company but there should be a class action lawsuit against these folks for ripping so many people off all with the same reason..

I have waited over 7 months for a couch and ottoman! After the poor service provided by customer service I will never order from this company again. I've had to talk with customer service 3 different times and they couldn't get the home store where I purchased the item to call me back to set up a reimbursement.

Don't go to this place. You're better off going to iKea. Took four months for only two items to arrive. Ordered stuff in October 2021, and till this day, April 2022, only two items has arrived. When I went to cancel, had to wait over an hour. Customer service had to ask other customer service because they didn't know how to do a refund. It was understandable the first time because they were a new employee, but it happened every single time I went there. I went there three times. Not worth it.

They have rescheduled my drop off for bed almost 10 times and never comes or get confirmation. Called into the customer service and they say they re order it but never send confirmation so when the day comes they are making you reschedule again. The one time a delivery did make it , they sent the wrong thing and making it another longer process then needing to be. Save your self time and money.

We ordered a sectional that comes in individual pieces in October for somewhere around 3k.... They delivered 4 pieces about 2 weeks later, and said the other 2 would be delivered in 8 to 12 weeks... It is March... 5 months later and we have had pieces of a sectional in our living room with wires scattered everywhere for months longer than we were told. We have had delivers scheduled and canceled twice. We have called 4 times only to be told to wait longer. The last time the lady said she would have someone call me back within 48 hours, and no one ever called. Our new puppy chewed through one of the exposed wires so one of our brand new recliners does not work now. I am so disappointed. The lack of communication has been ridiculous! I get that the pandemic has slowed things down, but be up front with your customers. If it's going to be a really really long time tell them that. Don't just lie so you can get your stupid commission. We can't help but wonder if they are still selling people this same piece with the same promise lying to them too. Run.... don't buy here.

I purchased a couch and mattress from Alyssa at Ashley Furniture on 82nd, and I was very impressed by Alyssa's customer service. I spent a long time in the store and Alyssa helped me find what I was looking for and was supportive of me taking the time to find exactly what I wanted. I also appreciated her calm, un-pushy demeanor, and she was flexible in helping me stay in my budget yet still find excellent furniture. I would love to buy from Alyssa again for any future furniture needs I have!

If you don’t want to be sick waiting for your future please don’t buy at this store horrible customer service and I’m still waiting almost 6 months for my future , I have to ask for my money back please don’t buy at this store also if you don’t want to wait for hours in the phone asking for your order

If you can wait 10 months to get your couch, then shop there. We shopped July 25, 2021 and STILL have not received our couches. The latest date is now MAY 2022. Supposedly they design and manufacture their own product and ship them with their own fleet. HOW CAN THEY DO THAT AND STILL HAVE NOT DELIVERED OUR COUCHES??? Ridiculous! Shop somewhere else. I am still on hold as call number 94. Can't get any help, any service, any new couch. Awful! Now I am caller 98. Hanging up. Unbelievable!

I requested a refund for a purchase that was backordered and never delivered. I have left numerous messages and sent multiple emails with no response. I am now entering week 3 of no refund and no update from the store. I guess this store’s management believes it is ok to steal from their local consumers. Buy at your own risk!

If I could give a zero I would. Canceled delivery items beginning of November. Was charged for half the items 2 days after I canceled them! Its been 3 months now and I still don't have my refund! The store never answers their phones, or emails when I call and someone at customer service always says they've taken care of the issue and they haven't. No one seems to want to take initiative and responsibly and take care of the customer. Would not recommend shopping here or at any Ashley furniture store.

I was ready to walk out, thinking the prices were beyond my budget before Stephen walked up. He informed me there was a half-off sale occurring, which got me to stick around. Then he was patient in leading me around the store until I found the perfect couch for my needs and budget. The sales process was simple, and I never felt rushed. Well done.

Going on 6 months of rescheduled delivery dates and no calls informing me when/what delays are occurring. I have called to confirm the delivery dates still stand and each time I get a new date. I ordered this sectional in AUGUST with an October delivery window but now I can expect to get it in FEBRUARY or MARCH and that’s only if this new delivery estimate stays and I have 0% confidence in them so I expect to get this couch 1.5 years after I ordered it. The waits are insane to talk to customer service (because I’m sure I’m not alone) and if you’re disconnected, do not expect a call back. You’ll be getting back in the 2-hour queue.

First I want to say I’ve spent a lot of money over the years at this store! And this last experience has been the worst. I understand that we are experiencing delays with delivering product, however my issue is with the communication and the consumer! My order was rescheduled 3 times and each time I was given incorrect information regarding my order! I’m now on 10 days waiting for my refund and I’m being told still in process. I have notes with people I’ve spoke with and still my information is different from what they have. I now have to go into the store to get my refund. I will not spend another dollar with this company.

Wish I could give them negative stars. I was gonna give this place 5 stars. TILL!! I Realized they sold me a protection plan, on a sectional that would not be covered under their protection plan. Why would they do this? It wasn't a big deal until they refused to refund the money we spent on their BOGUS, Protection plan. If I buy a sectional that's as is. And you are sold a protection plan that doesn't cover as is. Why not correct the issue?? It's really sad because I liked this place. And I'm a repeat customer. But, now I can't shop here anymore. They would rather cheat people over a few hundred dollars then have repeat customers.

Bailey was my sales rep. She was friendly and listened to my needs. She helped me find the perfect dresser for my daughters room for a great price. I will definitely be returning if I ever need a new piece for my living room or bedroom!

Avoid at all costs. As a repeat Ashely buyer, we purchased 2 couches 2 chairs and 2 ottomans for this order. We specifically asked if the furniture was in stock and we were told yes. I took the day off work for my scheduled delivery date, confirmed the email link for arrival, and the day before I received a voice mail telling me something was wrong with my order. I called in and was told a chair was missing from my order. We agreed on a partial delivery asap, since I removed my furniture from my house, as I was told by Ashley to do so. I took another day off work and again confirmed delivery via email, and yet again received an email saying the order was delayed. I called in again and this time was told none of my order was in stock anymore. Now the entire order is being pushed out again, this time for 6 more weeks. Every person I talked to, in store and over the phone, lied to me and contradicted each other. Now I have no furniture for the holidays and still am trying to get my money back. They pushed back saying I need to go to the store for a refund, and that the recipt says orders can be delayed at anytime. I understand the supply chain issues and would not have cared if we were told originally the furniture is not in stock and that we would need to wait several months to receive it, but I was lied to over and over again. Terrible business practices, customer service and company. We will no longer support these grifters, and I suggest you do not either.

We didn't think we'd be buying a couch when we walked in, but they had exactly what we were looking for. Alyssa made us feel respected and gave us just the right amount of space. Frankly, if not for her we probably wouldn't have felt so secure in our decision.

We had a great experience with Leilani, she helped us in everything and always gave an extra in all her work giving a first class service, giving us the best prices and options.

Wish I could give 0 stars. Called 6 times today and nobody ever answered. Website support is garbage, communication is garbage, furniture quality: broken and can't get a hold of anyone to fix it.

They assure you they manufacture their own products and use their own distribution so everything will be on time but it has been 4 months and I have still not received my furniture. Their customer service is a joke, they’re rude and unhelpful. Will never buy from them again and I suggest you don’t.

No one will answer the phone!

The worst place to work with. We bought new bedroom furniture we’ve only had it 6 months and already falling apart. Spent over 10K and horrible customer service. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE!! It’s taken me 6 weeks, 4 emails, several phone calls with no help! advising we would be seeking a lawyer, and one chat room for someone to finally be coming out on Saturday to look at our stuff. Just buyer beware!! Horrible service, horrible quality furniture and we thought we bought the best! Also the employees at the store are rude and have NO knowledge of the company or the product they’re selling!! So there’s more to this!! After someone finally came out to my house to try and fix my falling apart bed, the technician tore my bed apart then says I’m going to go get my tools and he LEFT my house and never RETURNED! Who does that?? I called the store and actually talked to a human and advised me to email him pictures and he’ll get right back to me and have someone come out and put my bed back together. Guess what today is Tuesday and still haven’t heard from anyone! Again DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!! Horrible! See pics after he torn my bedroom apart. While I thought my experience in-store was okay, I am pretty disappointed afterwards in how Steven Rando handled my requests. I came in looking for a new couch since I just moved and told him multiple times the type of fabric I was looking for as to not be as noticeable with dog hair or scratches (I made it VERY apparent throughout the visit that I would be having dogs). When he brought up the warranty, he stated (and I quote): "You won't have to worry about damage from your pets. We have a warranty we can add that covers everything". So, I of course added it. After leaving the store, I took a closer look at the warranty and wouldn't you know it: I paid an extra $170 for it not to include "damage from teeth and claws from an animal" or "odors". Odds are I would've gotten the added protection anyways but the dishonesty in having the warranty cover everything when he knew I was worried about damage from my dogs is what upsets me. I was going to return for an entire bedroom set but now, I will not be because I feel they don't care about your true desires and what you need, they are looking to make any money they can off of you.

Desi Distefano was a fantastic salesperson and a great help, however every other part of dealing with Ashley has been a nightmare. My new sofa came in with a lot of manufacturing imperfections and it has been impossible to get them to resolve the issues. I would take my business elsewhere.

Purchased a bedroom set for my daughter. We were told that everything was 50% off. When I got home I went to the website to get the measurements for the furniture we bought. The prices on the advertised website were substantially less than what we were charged. Over $700. cheaper. I have tried to call the store but so far have been on hold for over 1 hour.

I have been waiting for my delivery for 3 months and when they finally came the table was broken, they reschedule the delivery for another 3 months I been trying to cancel my order because I can not wait for that much and they never answer. 😒

I went to the store to check out a few things as I will be moving to a new apartment and I needed to upgrade my furniture. I had previously checked out the website which is good but I needed to see the product up close and wanted to check the quality as well. I was greeted at the the door by Desi she had asked me what I was looking for and I told her a queen bed frame as I've already got a mattress. She told me to have a look around as the beds are spread out over the showroom, she told me to take my time and she would be near if I had any questions. This was great I felt no pressure and was able to browse, Desi was quick to help and answer any questions I had. It's professional service like this that I will shop here again, Go and give them a try and you will be impressed and be sure to ask for Desi.

When your friends and family tell you not to go to Ashley, listen to them. Don’t get cocky and think your experience is going to be any different, and don’t expect everything to be fine if you only shop “in stock” furniture. We shopped there over the weekend, and while our customer service was great and we loved working with Kelly, we were very explicit with him that we needed a dining set that was in stock, as we’re moving AND hosting Thanksgiving next month. We absolutely fell in love with a set, and were told it would be delivered the next Friday. This was Sunday at 5pm. Monday at 9am, I got a call saying it was now delayed until December. We were assured it was in stock, had our name on it and we just needed to get it on a truck to be delivered. I didn’t think anything could go wrong in the five day turnaround. Silly me. They also won’t cancel our order unless we come in in person, when the last place I want to be is in an Ashley furniture again after this disaster.

Long story but worth sharing. We purchased a couch, and two end tables here on fourth of july 2021 and were told they'd arrive mid august. They pushed the delivery date back a week at a time all the way until the week of 10/10. They told me it would be delivered on Monday between 9-4. It never arrived. Then i got a text saying it would arrive on Tuesday between 9-4. Still did not arrive. Luckily I work from home because on Wednesday without any prompting from a text I received a call that they would be at my home in 15 minutes. When the workers arrived and told them they'd have to take it through the back door which meant going around the side of the house they told me they didn't feel safe as it was raining and they were worried about the pathway. I told them that was fine, leave it in the garage and asked when they could come back to take it through the back when the weather was better. They told me I'd get a call either that day or the next and i could schedule them to come out again. Now a week later I called customer service only to be informed that I had refused the install and that's why they hadn't reached out to me the whole thing was done.. When i explained the situation they told me someone would reach out to me in the next day or two to schedule someone to come out. Now we wait. Hopefully it's not another week. Buy your furniture anywhere else. Whatever the deal it's still overpriced and much worse service than anywhere else I've ever purchased.

Horrible experience, ordered in June and order has not yet been recieved. The delivery keeps being pushed out to a different date. The last set up I was called last week to get partial delivery and the lamps to be UPS, i confirmed that was ok, i got another call to confirm the order, I said yes again to partial delivery as I need my couches and lamps can be mailed. I recieved my email to confirm order twice this week and this morning I get call stating my order wont be here tmrw 10/13/21 since the lamps are not in adn the new dat is 10/28/21. I tried to explain that we had already agreed and per customer service there is nothing they can do the ware house cant deliver tmrw. I been waitng since June, I finally was going to have my couches so I made a family gathering for this weekend and made plans to recieve them since i got 2 confirmation emails with the last one being TODAY this morning at 5am and now I am told at 8am TODAY that they cant due to the lamps they stated they were going to direct ship. I am beyond pist and I will NEVER EVER buy at Ashleys. Their lack of communication, their lack of understanding and their lack of planning correclty. The worst experience i have ever had.

I’ve had an absolutely terrible time trying to work with Ashley. I purchased my couch from them on March 20th. I was convinced that despite having the funds available, it would benefit my credit to use the Acceptance Now program. I agreed and paid $500 up front (I was not told I was paying this amount to Acceptance Now and not Ashley) I was told my couch would arrive by the end of May. This seemed like a long time, but I understood that after COVID shut downs, etc there was a delay. Mid May I called to pay the rest of my balance so that everything would be ready for delivery on time. The last week of May came and I had not heard from them. I called and was told the couch would come on June 7th. It wasn’t ideal, but I’d be patient. June 7th came and went. I called the store and was told that someone would call me back, they never did. After waiting another week I called again, this time I asked to speak to management. I was told that my delivery could be expected some time in September. At this point I was done. I went into the store, to find that Acceptance Now was gone. I told them that I wanted to cancel my order and get a refund. It was then that I learned I’d have to get my refund from Acceptance Now and Ashley “couldn’t help me.” If I’d known this would be the case, I’d never have accepted to use the program. I called Acceptance Now and was told that I needed to go back to the store to ensure that the order had been truly cancelled. I did this, but was told they were too busy to get me proof and I’d have to wait. I e continued to have issues with Acceptance Now, which I’ll save for their review. It is now September and I STILL HAVE NOT GOTTEN MY MONEY BACK! I will NEVER use Ashley again, and I’ll recommend anyone I know go else where.

Apparently the salespeople can lie and get away with it because I have been dealing with being sold a mattress that I had 90 days to return or exchange. After the sale I was told I didn't buy the right mattress to get the 90 day guarantee. Excuse after excuse and now no return calls or responses to emails. Complete frustration. I haven't given up yet (5 months) but at this rate I will never buy from this company again. And the person who recommended I buy here won't either.

Would not recommend purchasing from this location... Sales associate was extremely rude, had very little knowledge of the pricing and gave me three different totals for the same products. Mistake after mistake.... Ended up purchasing everything from the Bend, Or store... Wonderful customer service...quick and easy.

I was pleasantly surprised by the outcome, but I had low expectations based on the bad reviews. Was going to place an online order for a bed and 2 bookcases, and decided to visit the store to see the goods. Turned out the store could deliver it faster, and a week later we decided to bailed on the website and opted to buy from the store - they matched the price. Kevin was a great salesperson and made the transaction relatively painless. Store policy says you have to sign in person, which meant an extra hour total travel for me, but in the end all the furniture was delivered less than a week after I signed. I was told it would take 2 weeks so that was a pleasant surprise, especially given the horrific reviews. The delivery / install guys were fast, professional and efficient - and were in and out in under 30 minutes. Quality product, decent price (when on sale) and fast / efficient service. I took off 1 star for the sketchy practices. In- store prices were literally double the website - but they were having a 50% off everything sale…. Also no phone transactions? Covid - hello!!!….

Leliani was very helpful and personable. She suggested another couch to us that was better quality, construction, and way more comfortable than our first choice. Additionally, it was in stock and is coming sooner than anticipated. We are very happy with her service and Ashley Furniture! Thank you so much for helping us find something we love.

Absolutely the worst company to deal with. Absolutely the worst company when it comes to customer service. Absolutely the worst company to have furniture delivered to you, they say it will get delivered in a month and then you are 6 months down the road with partial furniture. Ridiculous. Disgusting. Not even worth it. I’ve given up. Still waiting for my furniture, ordered in may and now jumping into September.

Ashley Furniture Homestore Clackamas has the worst customer service. Forget about receiving any type of follow-up be it a return phone call or response to an email. I have been having an issue with Ashley Homestore from and since an order placed September 2020. As a customer, I have called Ashley Clackamas directly, called Customer Care, even driven from Seattle, WA to the store (purchase location) Clackamas, OR to speak to someone face to face. I can never reach anyone directly from the store over the phone. My visit to the store on August 7th I was advised by their customer service representative/manager he would contact me by the following Wednesday 8/11. I emailed on Thursday 8/12 asking for an update. As of today still no update email or email response to my email. I regret ever having even stopped let alone made such a large purchase with Ashley. I will be seeking next steps in reporting Ashley Furniture Homestore so this type of business practice does not continue to happen to customers.

I would give the service a zero if it wasn't for the salesperson and I do like the look of the furniture however the service, delivery and accountability is pathetic. I ordered couple months ago dining set, couch and bed set...the bed arrived on my move in day and crew said the bed frame doesn't work with the bed so they can't put it together, called, couldn't reach anyone in customer service or at the store, had to drive down...they said it was correct order and would resend someone back out 4 days later (We slept on the floor and I have physical disability and they never offered goodwill), that day they delivered, love the bed then 3 days later, woke up and the bedframe was completely apart and the headboard had fallen forwards...it was never locked in place with the set up. I had to go back in the store as still nobody would answer, their response was, "well call you in 3-5 days to let you know WHEN we can have another bed delivered"....completely unacceptable. I finally spoke with a manager to expedite another bed and would be taken care of this week. Today is Friday and yet another week has gone by and nothing. This company truly does NOT care about their customers nor making things right. It's really too bad because I do like their furniture however they have lost my business as well as all of my friends and family that I have shared my experience with. I myself am a customer service manager and would never dismiss my customers in this kind of fashion, NO INTEGRITY!

Found solid furniture. Delivery is allegedly 8-12 weeks our due to Covid. I was very annoyed with one thing: I signed the paperwork digitally. The store called and said my signature was not legible enough and that they would not queue our couch for delivery until I came on and resigned. What in all hell?

Let me start by saying that the salesman, Will and the store manager, Najma, were great to work with. The process of picking out and ordering our furniture went very well. The reason for the 1 star review is because we had a very hard time receiving what we ordered. We received the bulk of our delivery in one shot (we ordered an entire house full of furniture for a house we purchased as a second/vacation home). We were told that they would bring the furniture anytime we wanted but then we got a notice via text and email saying they were coming in a few days. We made arrangements to drive 2.5 hours to the other home to wait for the delivery. All but two items were delivered (a chairside table and a headboard). I was told the other items would be a few weeks out. I never heard anything and ended up calling 3 weeks later. I was told that the items would be delivered on x date. We went to the house, waited and the furniture never showed up. We called and were given the run-around by the customer service people. I won't get in to all of the nitty gritty but what I will say is we were told that on 4 different dates, the furniture would arrive so we drove the 130 miles to the other house and on each occasion, the furniture never arrived and we never received any notices cancelling delivery. When we called customer service each time, they always said something like there was a glitch in their system or the item was damaged and they had to reorder. In the end, I requested a refund for my missing two items. The unfortunate part is that I now have a nightstand that was supposed to match the headboard I never received. I asked them to come pick it up and refund me (because I didn't want an unmatched set of furniture) and they told me they can't do that because it's outside of the 72 hour return policy window. I've been waiting for this furniture since mid March (5 months!). How could I have known that I'd never receive the headboard? I was told the regional manager would deny my request for a refund on that nightstand and when I asked to speak to the regional manager, I was denied. The furniture we received is fine - no issues there, just beware that delivery is a nightmare and when you call customer service, you get transferred all over and never speak with the same person twice. We felt like several of the folks we spoke with in the customer service area were disrespectful/condescending. This was a terrible experience and unfortunately, I will never buy furniture from Ashely Homestore again.

My sales person Dezzie was incredibly knowledgeable about all the furniture and was the only person in the entire Portland metro area to have a sample of the fabric for the couch I was looking for. They where all very friendly and helped me stay within my budget for what I was looking for. Screw going online to buy, make sure you go in. It’s worth it.

Worst customer service. I was being helped at first and the person helping me got called to help another customer. I was fine with that. So I waited around for someone else to help me and the manager walked passed me about 3-4 times. Didn’t say hi or asked if I needed help. Made eye contact with her from a distant which made it obvious I was wanting help but she kept walking. A few minutes later I Started heading out and saw a few employees and the manager on their phone. I called them out on why they didn’t send anyone else to me when the person who was helping me got pulled away from. I don’t want to bring up the race card but they helped the caucasian couple longer than they tried helping me out. To think I was going to spend $2000+ in cash on a couch set. Not at this company. The manager did apologize and one of her employee was wanting to make things better but she told him to stop talking to me because she already offered help and apologized for the incident. 7-30-21 7:45pm Clackamas Ashley’s location on SE 82nd Ave

Horrible lack of communication. 3rd delay on the couch, and no one has bothered to tell us anything, any time. We have had to conact them every single time, even though they claim they will keep us updated. Each time is an excuse. We were garuntee the last 2 arrive dates, and still have no couch. Lastest update is now set for Aug 22nd.... 1st) June 15th - Was supposedly already at the wearhouse (when purchased on 5/22) - "Hasn't been built yet" 2nd) July 6th - Was a garunteed date, btw. So we cleared out the living room for it. - "Hasn't arrived to the wearhouse yet" 3rd) July 30th - Also garunteed date, still couchless. - "Hasn't arrived to the wearhouse" (still) 4th) August 22nd🤦‍♀️ (No longer expecting it to actually happen anymore....) 5th) 🤷‍♀️ who knows. The biggest issue is the lack of communication on their end. No one has been keeping us informed of any changes. We cleared the room based off of their "garuntee". Now we are still left out of the loop, and couchless. PS. The customer rep I spoke to on the phone today gets 5+ Stars. She's trying to get more information, an actual garuntee of delivery (for sure this time), and help us with this whole ordeal.

Hopefully, you read the reviews before purchasing furniture from Ashley’s. I would advise taking this review seriously. For the lack of better words, by far this company is worst organization I've dealt with in My entire life. The customer service took me through 3 months of wasted time and energy. We bought a brand new home in Oregon and decided to order furniture from Ashely’s. It took over four months to receive anything. I canceled the order and was able to buy elsewhere in less than a week. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY WITH THIS ORGANIZATION! Period!! Good luck if you decide otherwise, but I'm positive you'll regret it later.

I rarely ever give a negative review but today this business and employee deserve it. And, for the record, I'd take away the 1 star if I could. My mom and I entered the store, spoke to the woman at the front asking for help to locate a specific item (sleeper couch). She said they don't have any on the floor to actually look at or feel or anything but we could get a sense of what it would be by looking at other couches. I was sorta surprised but wondered to her if other locations would have one that we could actually feel and try out since they are about $3000+ here. She said not Jantzen Beach but maybe Beaverton. I asked if she could call that location and she replied with a snarky demeanor, "You're welcome to call them yourself." What the heck??? What a joke!! Worst!! Absolute worst customer service I've had in a long time....maybe ever! I thought customer service was helping a customer find what they needed as much as possible. I will never shop here and will boldly promote that no one else shop here. What a shame because we were willing and wanting to buy the item we were in search of. In light of so many businesses failing I assumed wrongly that maybe customer service would be important. Ahhh no....not here at least! So sad the importance of the customer isn't understood here. I also find it interesting that they only reply to 4/5 star reviews and don't address problems! That speaks for itself. So sad!

Horrible Horrible service!!! We ordered our furniture over 2 months ago and still waiting on the majority of my order. The regional supervisor called me 2 days ago and confirmed that 2 pieces would be delivered today, when the trucked got here they only had 1 item that was broke to hell. The furniture is beautiful and I already have some of the matching pieces if I didn't I would cancel my whole order. To save you time and frustration go elsewhere.

I made the mistake of reading the reviews after out purchase. But it all ended up fine. Everything was delivered earlier than scheduled and all in great condition. Guess I got lucky? Only complaint is setting up account to make payments on layaway/credit is a nightmare. You'd think they'd make it easier to get their money 🤷‍♀️

We saw the sale signs and went in to “look,” left with the furniture that we had been wanting for years! Excellent quality at a great price. James, the sales associate was excellent. Friendly and knowledgeable but not pushy. He ensured we got the best deal possible and we felt good about our purchase. We will be future shoppers at Ashley!

This is the second time I’ve order furniture from Ashley. And, this is the second time my delivery was rescheduled without any communication. In fact, my delivery was confirmed and a four hour window was given. The day of delivery, the delivery tracking service said that I was stop number two. A half hour later, it then said my delivery was unable to happen. After contacting customer service, I am then told that my furniture was backordered and deliver was scheduled for a week from now. Customer Service couldn’t care less and blames everything on dispatch. Dispatch couldn’t care less and blames everything on distribution. There is absolutely no resolution provided. This is one of the worst companies I’ve ever dealt with.

Miranda was amazing! She didn't push us or try to upsell (we did that all by ourselves). We walked in wanting to look at one thing and walked out buying furniture for 4 rooms. She was informative and helpful, I wish all sales people were like her. She helped us get the best discounts possible, which is why we bought more than we expected. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We will be back for barstools soon!

Worst store ever, I purchased a bed frame I had 48 hrs to pick it up, went two times to the store, two different days and the item was still NOT ready for pick up. No one knew what was going on (unorganized and unprofessional) I had to cancel my order due to the worst service I have received!

Please do not waste anytime here ! They are so rude and horrible at phone service they hung up on me AFTER she asked to listen to the story .. denied me the manager like literally denied me to talk the manager told me that the manager couldn’t help me more then she could when she SAID HERSELF that she’s “just a sales lady”.. when she finally let me talk to someone else in store the lady said she was NOT the manager and when the other lady got back on the phone she said I already spoke to the manager and she was the manager…sooo where is the truth there ? And when I called customer service ( and I spoke to 2 different people) THEY even admitted that they have so many issues and problems with this store and that they don’t even know how this store works like how is that possible ??

The reason I'm giving this a 4 star is due to the store manager being unprofessional, we went in to buy some couches and the ones we wanted were put on clearance by accident. The store manager walked over and took the cushion off to double check the sku number, it didn't match the one they had in their system so he walked away all mad leaving the cushion and pillows on the floor. Besides that Brandon was very helpful and we got our couches.

Sales rep Desi was amazing new about recliners that I was shopping for.she new about each chair top to bottom. Buying the chair was a breeze.very pleased with shopping experience.

Have been to this store a number of times. Hit and miss when it comes to service. Product quality is just ok, but I guess given the price they are good. Was ripped off when purchasing delivery and extended warranty. Their delivery people arrived and forced us to sign a waiver simply because they had to go up stairs - this was not disclosed to us. The delivery people damaged the couch when it was being taken up the stairs and the extended warranty would not cover. Awful company!

Great selection but my god I am so tired of being ask how I'm doing literally four times. The sales lady was creeping on us so hard and I honestly left to likely order what I liked online if I can because what a hassle!

I was a no hassle experience browsing the Ashley HomeStore. After we narrow our selection (I was looking for coffee/end tables) to two, the salesman was able to quickly determine whether or not the items were in stock and could be received within the next week. After the final decision, the salesman (James) was quickly and easily put in the order and delivery. James was very professional.

Literally waiting over 4 months for a couch and every time I call it’s something different. Supposed to be delivered going on 3 times now. First two times I had to call to get information about my order. No calls no Notifications.worst customer service ever. I have bought a lot of furniture from here and this has definitely made me look elsewhere

I had to visit the Portland Ashley store five times before I got satisfaction related to a purchase and a cancellation. Unacceptable! Store prices were much up higher than they were on-line which we were not informed of. Also, getting confirmation regarding the delivery date of one item was impossible, thus the cancellation. Customer service did not process my refund on the cancelled order when I was told it would happen. When I didn't receive the refund, I returned to the store and finally got customer service to process it before my eyes. This was a week after it had been promised. Ashley Furniture will never get my business again!

IF i could do a minus star review, I would----IT TOOK ONE WHOLE MONTH! You don't want to do business with this store!!!!!!! YOU DO NOT GET YOUR FURNITURE WHEN YOU ARE TOLD IT WILL BE DELIVERED ! ONE DELAY AFTER ANOTHER , THEN YOU ARE TOLD THERE WILL BE ANOTHER DELAY BECAUSE OF A MANUFACTURE DELAY. HOWEVER THAT PIECE OF FURNITURE WAS ON THE ORG.DELIVERY THAT WAS SCHEDULED. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ON TRYING TO GET YOUR ORDER AND DELIVERY SET UP "RIGHT"

If you like for delivery to no call no show 4 times, this is the store for you. My wife and I spent hours ordering furniture for every room in our house. Some showed up damaged or missing pieced. The promised to have the furniture replaced but they no call no showed 4 separate times. I am still waiting weeks later for my Table and other parts. If you want people that answer the phone, are honest, and deliver on their word, this is not the store for you. I sat on the phone for hours always being guaranteed. Nothing ever happened, no call no show. Escalation management hanging up on me, blaming other people, you name it. I wouldn't but bottled water from these thieves.

Purchased a leather couch and 2 matching recliners 5 1/2 years ago. First of all the couch arrived damaged it took over 8 months to get a replacement. Went that long without furniture. We bought the leather protection plan for $659.00 and were told that if we didn’t use the plan within 5 years we would get a gift certificate in that amount. I have been trying for 4 months now to get ahold of the store to get the gift certificate. I’ve called the store but always reach the customer service people who tell me to contact the insurance company which I have done and was told I have to contact the store where I made the purchase They sent email to me and the store which I didn’t get a response to. I also emailed with no response. We live over 3 hours from the store in a very rural area so it is a pain to drive to Portland to speak to a human. BUT just for the principal I will resort to a 6 hour round trip to collect on the certificate. THEN I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

I cannot say enough. If you are noy looking for financing go domewhere else. Such bad service from the greeter to the store manager.

I came in to the store in March to order a sectional and 2 night stands. After the transaction I was told my furniture wouldn’t be delivered until May due to Covid. Fine. 2 days later I received a call saying they needed me to come back to sign a receipt that they forgot to have me sign. I go back to the store and sign the receipt. May rolls around and I go to check my paperwork for the delivery date. Immediately I notice that the nightstands I ordered were not on the invoice. I call the store, no answer. Call customer service, they say that the order is on admin hold and I’ll have to go to the store to clear it up. Go all the way back to the store, they say it’s because I didn’t sign a receipt...the same receipt I went back and signed already. They then acknowledged that they messed up on that part. I then pay for the missing nightstands in cash and they set the delivery date for the following Saturday. Saturday rolls around, only the nightstands show up, no sectional couch still. Another week goes by, no communication from the store, I go back in (4th time now, I live in Gresham, the store is in Clackamas.) only to find out now that my couches are in back order until August. Now, the store tried to make it right. They had me re-select another couch which was about a couple hundred dollars more, they washed that, even changed up my financing and threw in a pillow. They gave a delivery date of the following Wednesday. The delivery date rolls around and the delivery guys came up to my place and immediately said “it’s not going to fit through your entryway. I found this odd since we had moved plenty of things of similar size into the space, and they asked me if I wanted them to try anyway...”well Yeah!!” They then bring up the main piece of the sectional and it was wrapped in plastic and cardboard, get to the top of my stairs and stop one stair short and say “see it won’t fit” to which my response was “then why not take it out of the plastic and cardboard making it more maneuverable as it’s only a few inches that we’re talking about” they weren’t willing to do that so after all this.....I had to send the whole order back and cancel it. The delivery driver also took it on his own to trash Ashley Furniture as they are subcontractors saying “They do this to people all the time, drag people on and then not delivering on their promises. This whole experience has been poorly handled, bad communication, and poor records keeping. All I wanted was a nice sectional couch as we just had twins recently and wanted to make our home a little more comfortable for our expanding family. Now I have a big hole in my living room and have to go out to furniture shop all over again, this time with newborns in tow.

The rep in the store was wonderful, but that unfortunately doesn't make up for the horrible experience afterward. This company is the worst! Was told we would get our order last Saturday, the delivery driver never showed up (though they took a picture of our building but never called or KNOCKED ON THE DOOR). It took 8 phone calls to reschedule for today (following Thursday). Got a text an hour ago that they were 15 minutes away, followed by a phone call 45 minutes later informing me that our order was canceled. Now I'm being told it won't come till next Saturday. Asked for a refund and was advised that I would have to wait 24 to 48 hours for the store to call me to process the refund. Don't put yourself through the headache of dealing with this company. It's a mess!
