My initial salesperson, Ying, was a pleasure to work with, and all of the staff at the store was incredible. If my review was based purely on the in-store experience, it would be an easy 5/5 stars. Unfortunately, after you leave the store it all goes downhill. The delivery teams don't keep appointments and are uncommunicative, pieces were missing on my delivery, one of my items just wasn't assembled (ended up having to do it myself), and now it's a 2 week wait to have the missing piece delivered. The customer service line has been dismissive throughout the entire process. Thankfully, the staff at the store has remained helpful throughout.

SCAMMERS. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. WASTED HOURS OF MY LIFE. was going to spend over $2000 here and they could not care any less about your service. Waited all day for somebody show up, never did. Waited another day for somebody to show up, never did and on top of that, they said the furniture wasn’t even on the truck(AFTER THE FACT, THEY SAID THEY WERE 25 MIN AWAY FROM ARRIVING) WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. SERIOUSLY. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. i will literally tell everybody I know and anybody i plain have a conversation with about furniture to NEVER EVER shop at ashley.

One of the most pleasurable furniture shopping experiences I’ve ever had. We walked in “just to look” at couches and bed frames — and were so impressed by the prices (and the terrific staff!) that we ended up with a Tempurpedic adjustable bed and several other pieces (including a sleeper sofa). Marta took such great care of us— showed us through the entire mattress assortment, and patiently answered every query & explained every feature. (She also got us a fabulous $300 gift with purchase — so basically the beautiful lift-top coffee table was free.) 5 star service!!! (Cody was also very helpful!) Truly the definition of one-stop shopping.

Salesperson not very knowledgeable. She charged premium shipping for two small items that get shipped by UPS of FedEx. When I called the store, they said I would get a phone call confirming the order had been changed and I would get a new receipt with the shipping removed. Neither ever happened.

I should have listened to all the negative reviews on here. I recently moved to Oregon and used this store to furnish my apartment. My furniture had to arrive in 3 separate deliveries. My first delivery was a success but after ordering on March 28th I keep getting phone calls and excuses on why my furniture is not being delivered. As of the writing of this post, I am currently postponed until May 4th, even though I did my job and ordered most of this furniture well in advance. Since this is the era of lip service from companies such as “we value our customers” and “we want to make sure you’re 100% satisfied” even though they don’t mean a word of it, all that is left for me to do is warn others to stay away via this review. Beware of this place. The sales people will promise you the world but once they have your money good luck getting the items you wanted in a timely fashion. -written from my living room floor since I have to wait 3 more weeks for my couch.

First, we confirmed the specific delivery window they provided. I scheduled a half day at work so I could be home to receive them. They ended up arriving 2 hours early. Second, one couch arrived broken and the other was the wrong couch entirely. To resolve the issues, they scheduled a technician to come out and fix the broken one A WEEK from now, and for the other, "a representative will call us within 48 hours to resolve the incorrect order." For such a large furniture store, we expected better. It's so disappointing waiting excitedly for new furniture only to be faced with problems as soon as it arrives.

The store is fine - here is the kicker - do not buy from the store directly. They have a ZERO return policy for any reason at all. If you buy, for the same price, online, you not only get a return policy, but a 30 day price match, as well as a 30 day satisfaction guarantee. Go to the store, look around, go home, and buy online. The fact that their brick and mortar stores have a terrible return policy is beyond ridiculous. Side note, customer service is fine for the purchase, beyond terrible after the purchase.

My Salesperson was Ying at the store on Hayden Island in Oregon. I was shopping for a Dual Power Recliner and she went out of her way to show me what I was looking for and answer my questions. I brought my husband back to the store a couple of days later and again, Yang answered all of our questions. We went home to look at the online inventory and to my surprise, the recliner we liked in the store was $200 less online. I called the store and they honored the lower price. The only reason I'm giving a 4 star review versus a 5 star is that they should've had the same price in the store as they did on their website.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Ashley Furniture store. After waiting for 21 days since placing my order, the king bed set finally arrived, but with missing parts. This means I cannot even put the mattress on the bed frame. Despite choosing delivery and assembly service, I am left dealing with this inconvenience. To make matters worse, I am now being asked to wait another week or so to receive the missing item. This prolonged wait and frustrating experience have been incredibly disturbing. I expected better service and attention to detail from a reputable furniture store like Ashley. This experience has left me thoroughly dissatisfied.

Once purchase has been made, don’t expect any customer service. Delivery was a joke. I was told they only deliver on Wednesdays. Scheduled a Wednesday off work. Then in the middle of that Wednesday I was told the delivery truck broke down and that the delivery would be the next day. I was given no other option. I did some research and found that the delivery truck breaking down is a common excuse. This made me take a second day off of work. I do not get paid time off work and do you think they cared? Nope. Delivery did happen Thursday however later then scheduled. We received one damaged chair and one with ink pen on it. After showing the delivery guy he couldn’t help me. Although seemingly very nice and hard working, all three of the delivery guys spoke no English. They seemed unsure what to do. They took pictures and tried calling the Ashley customer service. Of course that was closed. All he could try to tell me was call tomorrow. The next morning at 7:40 I received a call from delivery service asking how things went. After I told him if the damaged chair, I told him I’d like to drop it off at the store on Sunday. Then was told since I signed the delivery form that I had to keep it?! I explained the language barrier and fact that they had been closed at time of delivery and was then told a manager would call me in 24-48hrs. I’m now being told from the store manager that they have to schedule a pickup time, meaning more time off work! Then she offered to waive the “premium delivery fee” for all of my inconvenience. What a joke!! They expect me to take 3 days off work (2 for delivery and 1 for damaged chair pick up) then waive the delivery fee?! I highly suggest to shop elsewhere. Save your money. At Ashley all you’ll do is pay premium price for horrible customer service and excuses.

I had a wonderful experience purchasing my sleeper sofa with Alana. Unfortunately, my sofa was sent to another customer. A different salesperson answered when I called to resolve the problem. Jerret, the salesman, was unprofessional, inappropriate and by the end of our 2 phone conversations was openly hostile. I will never shop with Ashley again.

My order number was (700239730) I placed an order with my wife on 02/03/2024, and it was a prize bed, dresser and mirror for our oldest son who's coming from college and we told the store that we needed on couple of weeks and they confirmed that the delivery should takes no more than 2-3 weeks. We received the bed and the dresser but the mirror not. I called a week ago to the store to speak to the manager and requested to my messges to be sent to the manager so I can address my situation, but no one call because the lady that I spoke to she forgot to send the massage to the manager. Yesterday, I called again and I was able to speak to the manager, however, she wasn't able to help at all! All she was able to say was that the mirror will arrives on March 15th which is by the time my son will be back to school. Then, the manager was able to cancel the order because that was what it seems easy, but they couldn't deliver the mirror on time. We paid the delivery fees in advance. This was the worst customer service communication ever and the worst purchase ever. Ashley furniture is absolutely not the right business to purchase furniture. Even the manager wasn't able to help after waiting month an half. The agent and the manager were not professional and they don't care about their customers.

An employee at this store asked if I wanted to see if I prequalify for financing. I said yes and was immediately signed up for a credit card with a 6k limit. Very predatory business practice. Do not let them "prequalify" you if you don't intend do get the credit card! I was on the fence and never should have let them do it. We said we wanted to buy a couch or loveseat, and we're continuously told about "living room sets" even though we stated we weren't interested in those. Just a bad experience pretty much start to finish. That being said, the Clackamas location was awesome and got us exactly what we needed! Same company still got my money but at least the people I got to work with were honest and helpful. Save the time and start your shopping at the Clackamas one. Now to go figure out how to prevent this illegally authorized inquiry from hitting my credit.

I recently came to Ashley because we decided to repurpose our guest room and we were in need of a couple of things. Furniture shopping can be stressful, especially if you’re looking for something of quality and don’t want to spend an arm and a leg. I’d heard good things about Ashley from friends and family, so we decided to check it out. From the moment we walked into the store, it was a much friendlier and better experience than I was expecting. We were greeted by the Office Supervisor Deanne, who was very friendly. We told her what we were looking for, she lead us in the right direction to their options of exactly what we were looking for. I was so grateful for this because nothing is worse than having a salesperson rushing you or trying to pressure you into buying something you don’t necessarily love or need. After a little while she came back to answer any questions we had. We were surprised to find that things were so affordable. She told us about their financing options, their delivery options, all of the important stuff. After a while we were joined by the Store Manager Lana who helped us finalize some things. Overall we were impressed with our experience. We appreciated the friendly staff and we didn’t feel pressured to hurry and buy anything. This allowed us to actually enjoy the furniture shopping experience more than we thought we would. We would absolutely recommend people come to Ashley Home Furnishings if they’re in the market for new furniture. The staff, the prices and the quality of product are all really amazing, and I’m so glad that we decided to come in. We will be returning the next time we need a new piece of furniture for our home.

My hubby and I were just browsing products. A floor sales person named Joy told us "if you have any questions, feel free to ask anytime". I wanted to research and talk to my hubby alone, but Joy was kept interrupting and tried to introduce whatever we are looking into, and also breaking my thought process. Sorry, her pressure, watching, & following around us was not comfortable to shop at the store. Sometimes they need to customers alone. We left just because her pressure and purchased a piece of furniture at other store at the same day.

Initially, the customer service at the store was excellent. But we have yet to receive our furniture and the delivery date has been changed four times … And when they called to notify us of the change dates for the delivery, usually the day before the delivery, the people we spoke with were unprofessional and not supportive. Stay away if you are planning to get your furniture delivered on time!

The sales associate was not very helpful. When we arrived someone greeted us at the door by saying hello but that was it. We came looking for a specific couch and eventually found it on our own but ended up not liking it. We found another couch we did like but when I went to ask to see the fabric samples of other colors it came in I was told I wasn’t allowed to take them home. I did not want to take them home, I wanted to see the options in person. We ended up leaving because it was clear we were not going to be receiving any helpful assistance.

Came into Ashley Furntiure looking for a couch today and Ying was wonderful and helped us find a perfect match within our price range and color we were aiming for. She was not pushy and let us have freedom when looking. It was a great experience. Will be coming back to get our dining table soon.

From start to finish, our experience was amazing! Bobby was incredibly gracious and so knowledgeable. We were warmly welcomed in to the show room and encouraged to take our time to look around. He gave us plenty of space to browse and sit on every loveseat in the show room! When we told him the specific features we were looking for, he guided us towards a section that had 3 differ loveseats that were exactly what we were looking for. He explained the features of each one and even collected pillows from other displays so we could get a better idea of how the pieces would look with different accessories. It was truly an awesome experience and we were very pleased with the quality of the customer service, the furniture, and the piece we purchased.

Short I bought 2 beds from them. I was going to buy more. Thank God I did not, after the run around and 4 canceled delivery times I canceled the order for my daughter's bed. Bought her one off Amazon came in 3 days. The only reason I received mine and my wife's bed was cause I went and picked it up in my truck. Their delivery company is a train wreck. The folks that work in the store are nice enough but I won't be back again for more furniture.

I went in to get replacement cushions for my couch. I ordered 3 which was over $300. After the order was placed, I was then told I could not pay with my Ashley card on this type of sell. So I can buy Ashley items, but not put it on my Ashley account?!?!? This does not make any sense to me.

This was our first time at an Ashley location. I must say they had a pretty good collection. We came into the store with the intention of buying one furniture but left purchasing more. The store representative here, Marta, was extremely helpful and patient with us. Buying a piece of furniture is stressful as it is, but having a patient staff member to help us through the process makes it a lot easier. We are definitely coming back to Ashley for our future furniture and home decor needs.

2 stars so far because we have yet to get our furniture. When it finally comes I will have a better final rating. I bought a couch set over a month ago, we were told and sent a confirmation email 3-5 days ago about delivery being today. I called for an ETA on the delivery time. The lady on the phone said that, the furniture was not coming today and to disregard the confirmation email that was sent. While I understand that stuff happens sometimes. I do no understand how a company does not communicate with the customer to let them know that the furniture is not being delivered that day it was promised. I was not given a new delivery date. Communication is key between a company and the customer.
