my husband and i were looking at furniture for our new house and have very specific taste and as soon as we walked in George was extremely helpful and friendly giving great insights and was very knowledgeable about the pieces in the store and what inventory he had …..very fun and easy experience. if you go in this store is not only huge but George will hook you up for sure and if it’s not in the store he will find it on their website for you and recommend items his motto was “ if you can’t find anything in this giant store …. there’s something wrong” this store is their franchise store and it’s the biggest in Oregon

With a glad heart, I want to Thank Mini (my sales person) for her time, humor and patience with me while looking for and finding a Great new rocker / recliner for the Hubby. Then I found a matching couch replacement for me; go figure! Lol 😆 Mini - you are the best! Wishing you many happy years to come. I will think of you often over the next few years while relaxing on my new furniture. You are a true 💎 gem.

Our representative, Eddie Mesa, was amazing. Eddie made sure to give us space to look for what we wanted, gave fantastic suggestions when we were struggling to make a decision, and never once made it feel like he was "pushing" for the sale. Eddie made the process simple and easy and gave very clear information about everything from protection to delivery and return/exchanges. Eddie was very personable and enjoyed laughing with us making out a great experience.

Unimpressed with the customer service we have received. They set up a delivery time, texted saying they were 15 minutes out and then nothing. Finally we call the store and they said all the pieces didn’t get delivered so they aren’t coming. Nobody called to let us know, we would have wasted our full day waiting for furniture that was not coming. The person at the store also tried to blame us saying they probably came or tried to call you or left a message with someone in the house. All is not true, we actually tried to call the delivery driver back and got no answer either.

My wife Tristan Gonzales left a positive review (please ignore that one) because we thought it was a pretty good sales experience with "slick" Kem. Boy did we get tricked - I should have known better. It's all about the sale - period. If you purchase from this place just know you will not get what you purchase. You have been warned. They will tell you what you want to hear and that's it. "For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?" I couldn't be a sales person at Ashley Furniture because I have a soul and it's not for sale. Thank God we didn't buy our bed from this place - when "slick" Kem was trying to sell us that too. We will not purchase from this place again. My wife is VERY upset. Only received half our order and not even the right color. "Slick" Kem told us it also came in a tannish color and that's the color we wanted. Matter of fact, the day we came in to make the purchase (8/30) we said we wanted the tan color. And "slick" Kem said, "You're in luck, that's the only color we have in stock." Now (9/12) we have a gray sofa and haven't even received our loveseat. Jessica from Ashley called and left a message saying that the set only comes in gray. THAT'S NOT WHAT "SLICK" KEM TOLD US OR SOLD US. At this point I'm not sure what we're going to do... Given similar complaints, maybe someone needs to contact the Better Business Bureau or another agency. Note: "Slick" Kem will answer and return calls during the sales process but don't expect him to answer or return calls after the sale has taken place. There will be multiple people standing around in the store but don't expect anyone to answer the phone if you call the store directly. I feel very sorry for the delivery team. They are VERY nice and have to take the blunt of all the mistakes. For the record, I am one of those people that give very good reviews when they are warranted. I don't write just negative reviews. Again, our experience at Ashley Furniture is a VERY bad experience and we won't ever shop there again. Given that we spent $3,000 you would think you would get what you paid for! Update 9/14: I was told by Jessica two days ago that she couldn't help me and that I would need to speak to Nicole (manager) - who would be calling me. That has not happened. I do not have a single voice mail from anyone. No apologies - nothing. When I asked for the corporate number I was told they are a franchise. When I asked to speak to someone higher than Nicole - I was literally told no, "They have a process and I have to speak to Nicole first." Wow. Maybe they need a process for all their complaints?? If you purchase from this place make sure to review the complaints. I would highly advise looking at the reviews on BBB, specifically.
