I can’t thank George enough for his time and patience in helping us find the perfect living room set. I’m very indecisive, and he was incredibly kind and supportive throughout the process. He took the time to understand our needs—especially with kids and dogs—and helped us choose furniture that would truly hold up for our lifestyle. I am writing this review to share our extremely disappointing experience with Ashley Furniture in Salem, Oregon. My pregnant wife and I ordered a sofa, dining table, and bed, totaling around $6,500. At the time of purchase, the salesperson Kylie promised that everything would be delivered within three weeks, which we agreed to. Nearly four weeks later, delivery finally started but it was incomplete and chaotic. • The bed arrived without the required hardware • The dining chairs arrived without the table • The whole sectional sofa was missing We immediately contacted customer service, especially regarding the bed hardware. We were told it would arrive in 7–10 days. We waited over two weeks, during which time my nine-month-pregnant wife had to sleep on the floor because the bed could not be assembled. When the hardware finally arrived, it was the wrong part. The dining table took over five weeks, and the missing sofa component arrived after six weeks despite us being very clear that we wanted everything delivered together, not in pieces over weeks. What made this even worse was the lack of communication and accountability. At some point, Ashley representatives stopped returning my wife’s calls, even though we still did not have a functional bed. As of today, we are still missing correct bed hardware, and no one can give us a clear timeline. When we went back to the store to speak with the manager, Nicole, she was unhelpful and dismissive. She told us that if we returned the items, we would be charged a 20% restocking fee, even though none of these issues were our fault. We paid in full, expecting complete and timely delivery, not weeks of stress and broken promises. We missed workdays waiting at home for deliveries that either didn’t arrive or arrived incomplete. The emotional and physical stress this caused especially during the final weeks of pregnancy is unacceptable. This experience was unprofessional, poorly managed, and deeply frustrating. For a company of this size, the lack of care, follow-through, and basic customer service is shocking. I hope others see this review and are fully aware of what they may experience before choosing to shop here. Thank you!

We went in looking to check out the bed options. George helped us my giving us more information about each kind of bed then we thought we new. He demonstrated what each one could do and how it would be more comfortable to sleep on. We felt like he cared about helping us make the best decision for us. He didn't push us to buy one bed over the other. He wanted to make sure we had given us all the information to make an informed decision.
