I wanted to love this store, but honestly I’m so frustrated with just trying to get the sofa I purchased that I’m not even sure I want it anymore… My husband and I ordered a reclining sofa the end of November and was told it would be in 3-5 weeks. Okay, that’s fine. Then we get a call a week later saying it’s coming in early and the team set up the delivery date. Great. I had company coming so my husband and I quickly sold our old couch to make room for the new one. When the delivery guys come, they unload the wrong couch, only for me to find out that the sale person put down the wrong couch and we had paid for the wrong one (note to self, always check the receipt when you purchase with them). So now I’m left with no couch at all. Customer service tells us that our couch won’t be ready until after Christmas and after much back and forth, we got a temporary couch to use… The delivery guys came, opened the box and pulled the couch out, only for a piece to be missing. I called customer service and that piece won’t come in until our actual couch is ready. They offered $50 to make up for the time and all the confusion… Everyone has been super friendly and have tried their best which I truly appreciate, but for some reason, the company can’t get their act together. Now I have a temporary, unfinished couch that I have to worry about until my couch arrives which is still unknown and $50 back. All this back and forth has been utterly frustrating and I won’t ever be shopping with them again…
We purchased 2 couches and a coffee table. Our salesman was great and we love our couches. Easy to clean even with 4 dogs and 2 kiddos. Once we got the room setup, the coffee table was just too short once we had new couches that aren’t broken in yet. We tried to return the coffee table and get something else, but it’s only a 48hr return window? Who has a 48hr return? We are only on day 5. With that policy I wouldn’t recommend the store. Find it in store and buy online

We had a good experience looking for a sofa in this store. There were many to choose from in a range of prices and we found one we love. I would've given it 5 stars except the sales person didn't tell us there were two kinds of delivery services. We ended up paying over a $100 for "deluxe" delivery, then found out later from my daughter that there was a $50 option. Maybe because we're older he simply assumed we couldn't move a sofa? The good news is that the delivery people--Aracely and Glenn--were fantastic. They were friendly, and careful with both the sofa and our walls. Definitely appreciated them!
Beautiful furnitures but The customer service is awful.. they don’t communicate well and they lie about delivery estimates and 9/10 times based on my experience the items are damaged
George had great customer service today! He came right up to us with a smile on his face and helped us find the perfect couch that fit our family’s needs. It was practical and comfortable with a great color that met mine and my partners expectations. He took what we wanted and turned it into something we needed. We came in with no idea and went out with a great experience and our first forever couch. So excited to see our new couch in our living room. I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Ashley Furniture. I ordered two bedroom sets and have been dealing with a nightmare for over four weeks. First, when my first bedroom set was finally delivered, the dresser was missing because it was damaged. No one communicated this with me beforehand—the delivery person just showed up and informed me. When I did finally receive the dresser over two weeks later, it was damaged again. Yet again, I wasn’t notified of the damage until it arrived at my door. The second bedroom set was scheduled for delivery, and I was told everything was fine. But the day before delivery, they informed me the bed was damaged and wouldn’t be delivered! This was after confirming the delivery date—why didn’t they mention the damage then? When I asked for a refund, multiple employees called me back trying to change my mind. Each one was rude and had a terrible attitude. Eventually, one person called and offered a swap if I’d still accept the delivery, so I agreed. But when the delivery guys arrived, they said the bed’s foundation was on backorder, and they had no idea when it would arrive. How am I supposed to use a bed with no foundation? This was never communicated, and they offered to just leave the boxes in the room until the foundation came in or cancel the delivery. I refused, of course. When I called Ashley to complain, no one was helpful. I even went to the store after work and was met with more attitude. They said they’d “sort it out” and call me, but I never received a follow-up. I’ve been emailing one of the people who initially reached out to me, and they have stopped responding altogether. I still haven’t received a refund. This experience has been nothing short of frustrating, and I wouldn’t recommend Ashley Furniture to anyone. The lack of communication, damaged items, delays, and poor customer service make me wish I’d never ordered from them.
My husband, son and I were very impressed not only by the price ranges and selection of recliners in the Salem store, but the great customer service that Eddie Mesa provided us. We started at Ashley furniture, then drove to several other stores in the area (LazyBoy, Keubler, Woodys) and came back to Ashley to purchase a beautiful recliner. Eddie was very knowledgable about the various recliners and gave us additional discounts that applied. We can't wait for our new recliner and would recommend this store and to ask for help from Eddie.
Highly recommend Eddie Mesa! He was awesome to work with. Very patient as we took hours to make our final decision on which couch we were going to purchase. He gave us space to talk and think about it while checking in on us every once in awhile. At a couple of times, Eddie was working with other customers so he would have another sales associate let us know that he was busy but would be back with us soon. He was the reason we came back to purchase furniture. He will be the reason we come back to purchase more!!
My fiancé and I placed an order in September being told the items would be delivered in 2 to 3 weeks. Our delivery was scheduled for October 19th. We had been told to clear out our old furniture to make room for the new furniture, which we did. Once they arrived they only had our dresser, not the mattress or bed. They said they never received the bed or mattress at all. When I called in they said they accidentally placed two separate orders and we would get our bed and mattress the next week. They called me last week to schedule the delivery for today, 4 weeks later, for just the bed. When i asked them about the mattress they said it was in and they would add it to the same delivery but today they showed up with a mattress no bed. So we have been without a bed for over a month. Every time we call we have to fight to get them to even locate our order. There has been no remorse over the fact that we haven't had a bed for over a month due to their incompetence. We paid thousands of dollars and don't even have the furniture we were charged for. Honestly, buy your furniture ANYWHERE else, this place is a joke.

Best couch shopping experience of my life!! I’ve purchased many couches in my life and this time I want it to be the last for a LONG time. I came into Ashley’s not expecting much. But I was welcomed by an amazing person named Mini. She was so fun, sweet, kind, honest, empathetic and most of all accommodating! We have two kids and she was so sweet to them and we even had a little pillow fight. She helped us get what was within our budget and I just couldn’t be more thankful for the customer service! Not just Mini either- the whole place was very kind and warm!
Eddie was so helpful, personable and not an "in your face" type of salesman which I really appreciated. He didn't pressure us to buy anything but made sure to check in with us periodically if we had questions.
In early September I ordered over $3300 worth of furniture for both the dining room and living room of a new home. We paid for all of it in the store in Salem, and we're given a delivery date of September 20th. Because we expected our furniture to arrive on the date promised, we moved in thatday. Since we hadn't heard about a delivery time, we called and after a long and confusing conversation with the corporate customer service person, we were transferred to a call with customer service at the store. We were informed of massive disarray in their system because of switching from being a corporate store to a franchise store. We were told to expect a two week delay. Two weeks later we were told to expect the furniture at the end of November, 2 months later than promised. They have been willing to split our order so we now have living room furniture, but are still waiting for the dining set we hope to have before Thanksgiving. Every conversation with customer service, of which I've had many, they are confused and unable to make specific promises. They have been courteous and seem to make an effort, but their system still appears to be very disorganized. This experience has been exasperating and stressful.
Went in to buy a recliner, our salesman was extremely patient and helpful in pointing out our options. We actually went back to the store 3 times before purchasing but never felt any high pressure sales, only patience and understanding. A very positive experience and will definitely go back to Ashley for future purchases!

I never got my furniture and it took two months to get my refund
Purchased a sofa, coffee table, end tables and a TV console. I was assured that the delivery people would put the tables and console together. The sofa was delivered, they said they do not put anything together and laughed at me. I was told that I paid for delivery and set up.Tried reaching out to Salem, Oregon store, no answer, tried to call for days and no one answered. Finally call customer service (not sure where). Made a complaint, they tried calling the Salem store and got no answer. Nothing was ever resolved, no call backs, no follow up. Long story short, I will not purchase anything from Ashley's again, especially in Salem, Oregon!

Terrible service! 3 last minute delivery cancellations, no concern or care for customers time or schedule. Finally cancelled order entirely due to no longer wanting to wait all day for it to happen again. Not any effort whatsoever to make things right. Will never purchase from Ashley again.
This is really about the experience, not the specific location. I would not buy online! We had a terrible experience, ordered a couch on Sept. 2nd had a total of 4 different date confirmation emails and every time you tried to track the delivery time it was not found. Multiple phone calls and no one had an answer as to where it was. Finally canceled the order today.

I have ordered a multitude of furniture items from Ashley’s, including a couch, rugs, tables and a lamp. I have received only a partial amount of the products that I have ordered and have been pleased with the quality of the items I ordered, but I have found your customer service and delivery process to be quite disorganized and unsatisfactory. I ordered all of these items on August 15, 2024. The expected delivery time for these items was approximately two to three weeks. One month later and none of my items have been delivered and no one has reached out to me to update me about my delivery. I then called and contacted someone from the front desk and they told me that they would work on it and contact me about my delivery. I then received only half of my items and was never contacted after the delivery of those items. I then called again and was told that my other items were at the store and they would send me an email to confirm my delivery. They came back again about two weeks later with only one more item. It is now 2 months later and I have still had trouble getting a hold of your company to deliver my items and have had to rearrange my schedule multiple times including being late to work. While everything at the store and the quality of the items are great, it is not worth it if I never receive the items. l also went into the store personally and they said they would make it right and contact me, but still never have. Keep in mind I spent thousands of dollars on this order.
The man who helped me with my couch purchase was very rude when I declined any extra services/warranty.

I had a horrible experience with Ashley’s in Salem. We were aware that the delivery time would be a couple weeks out but their communication is horrible. We received an email for a delivery date and when the delivery date arrived we never heard back. I called and they mentioned we needed to reschedule which we did and again the item was not going to be delivered. They mentioned our item would need to be delivered to the warehouse. Both times we’ve had to make arrangements to have someone at home. Super unprofessional service and no communication. Canceled item instead of dealing with this for a 3rd time. In response to the below message: if re-submitting the order and having to wait another 4 weeks for delivery is taking care of the issue than sure. A resolution would be having a better time frame or explanation on why the item has been delayed twice or offering the customer a rush option.

We are extremely disappointed in two chairs we purchased at the Salem store. They are flimsy and not as sturdy as the one we tried on the showroom floor. The sales representative told us if we were unhappy with this product it could be returned and sold me an expensive warranty package that he indicated would allow the product to be returned. What a SCAM! We cannot return these items. We will never shop at Ashley again as we believe we were taken advantage of as senior adults. The misrepresentation is disappointing to say the least. We will never recommend Ashley and will discourage our friends from shopping there. Worse than Walmart quality.

I went into Ashley's looking for a specific style couch. Unfortunately the company doesn't carry this style but the guy helping me (Eddie) was amazing. Even tho they didn't carry the one i was looking for, he showed me what most companies consider a "Firm" couch style (which is what i was going for) and some comparable style couches. I have a very small living room and very particular about the kind I want in my house. He was very understanding about that and not pushy at all. I will definitely be asking for him again when I go back for my bedroom set

UPDATE: The slats were finally delivered on Tuesday (10/8). The guys that delivered them had no idea that they were going to have to assemble the bed. They were cool about it though and really nice. I liked the delivery guys. But still stand by my review. I also realized they never delivered the $150 nightstand that was part of my order. I didn't notice it because I thought it was with the other boxes that were left in my garage but turns out it wasn't. I'm just going to take the loss because I simply don't have the energy to deal with this company anymore. If I could give zero stars I would. Waiting over a month for bed slats. Yes, BED SLATS for my sons bed that I purchased from them and is sitting in my garage because they are supposed to assemble it when the bed slats come. They just give me excuse after excuse, rarely answer their phone and are just playing games at this point. I do not recommend this place at all. You have been warned, DO NOT SHOP here!

I bought a dining room table and chairs over a month ago and it still hasn’t been delivered ! I call no one answers the phone ! It was supposed to be delivered the 16th wasn’t delivered called the scheduled it for the 26th it still isn’t here and now they don’t answer when I call ….

I purchased a couch and accent table 8/31 and set delivery for 9/21 (3weeks). On 9/20 we removed our old couch and got excited for our new items. 9/21 came and we hadn't heard a word about delivery so I decided to call in. I called the customer care 888 number and they couldn't even locate my order. They put me on hold and said they would call the store but apparently just transferred me there to a voicemail. I left a voicemail and called the store myself directly and spoke to the store manager Jammison Rosas who indicated my items were not going to be delivered and had no estimate of when due to some corporate delivery change. I had not been contacted and would not have been if I hadn't followed up myself. So here I stand with nowhere to sit and a husband about to have surgery and needs a place to rest. Luckily I went to The American Furniture store and I'm having what appears to be the same couch delivered tomorrow. Skip the trip to Ashley if you want to avoid emotional trauma and find another store. Id recommend The American Furniture store.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE UNPROFESSIONAL! I purchased my order since Aug17,2024 and it supposed to delivery on Sep11. They send me to confirm for delivery on Sep8.and today is Sep10 they tried to call me that they have to reschedule. This is very frustrating.this company called me before the delivery day just 1 day.i don’t understand how they’re working.so stupid.and the lady name Amanda said she gonna give me a call back today.since then i never heard anything from them.we’ve been waiting for the chair almost month.it’s for my nursery. The problem is if you guys don’t have a chair or not ready to ship.you guys should let us know in earlier.then we could plan to buy somewhere else because we needed it.unprofessional company.the worst experience store in America.
Worst delivery experience of our entire lives. Ordered a new frame, mattress and chairs, mattress only arrived at close to 11:30pm. One guy showed up to deliver the mattress and take away our old one, my husband had to help remove our old mattress. I can't believe I paid a delivery fee for this kind of service. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. I still don't know if we'll ever get the rest of the order we paid for because the store number rings to an automated assistant that is no help and the company is showing our order has been delivered. I REPEAT WALK AWAY DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE. UPDATE: 10/17/24 - turns out the WRONG mattress was delivered. When we brought this to their attention 3 days after delivery, they ordered the correct mattress, that was over A MONTH AGO AND STILL NO MATTRESS!! we have gone by the store in person twice now and were assured it would be soon and now nearly 6 weeks later we are sleeping on the wrong mattress still. Every time they claim Doug King be calling us back and EVERY TIME he DOES NOT! My husband and I are about to put the mattress in the back of our truck and take it back ourselves. AGAIN, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE.
Bait and switch sales tactics...advertised couch on laborday sale $199..went in 2 days before to sit on,tryout. The employe said they would not have one in stock untill 10am on laborday....we came back and were told..the $199 price was for matresess,by the store manager,tha5 the sales guy..who went and looked up all the info on Satarday was mistaken. Ordered a table , was told would be delivered a week after I ordered. I decided to call Ashley’s since no one called me about what time I would receive my table , they tell me it’s pushed out another week ! Guy in store didn’t do his job , rushed us to get out , didn’t ask if we wanted insurance , the last time I went service was amazing ! Not this time , guy on counter looks like he hates his job
Delivery people didn’t speak English. Were trying to tell them a better way to bring it up and had no idea what we were saying. Told them to take off and we would figure it out. Store number just goes to automated system where you can barely understand them when someone talks. Won’t give refund for delivery
We were very happy with George as our sales rep. We seemed to have trouble with the delivery dates due to unavailability of some items. When we finally got the whole order, one of the items was damages and was returned on the delivery truck for replacement. When we checked with the store we were told they were aware and would take care of it. We still have not heard a projected delivery date of the replacement. When I called yesterday to inquire, I was cut off and neither of us received a return call. By the way, we do love the product.

I found the most PERFECT couch for my home, waited almost a month for delivery only for the delivery drivers to not deliver my couch, saying it was too big to fit inside. I suggested bringing in the smaller pieces and that we could finagle the largest piece in however, they tried to bring the largest piece in FIRST and said there is no way to get it in and that my only option was to deny delivery. I called the Ashley store where I purchased my furniture and the lady on the phone hung up on me then had a condescending tone with me when I said I do not want to purchase another couch that I wanted a FULL refund as nothing was delivered and the delivery people said they wouldn’t charge me. The woman on the phone was not helpful and told me to wait 24-48 hours to hear back about the refund. If I he delivery people refused to deliver the product that I paid for then I should not be charged for it and therefore a full refund should be reinstated! Do better Ashley’s!
I cancelled my order because I was told my order would be delivered on 6/25/24 and the next day(6/21/24) after I ordered it I got a call telling me it would not be delivered until 7/2/24 because I (that's is what I was told)I didn't confirm the order. No one said anything about confirming the order and they tried to make me feel like it was my fault. So if that is how you treat your customers I will not do business with a store that makes it's customers feel belittled. Thank you Roberta Gitchel

Delivery boys 5 stars. In store salesman 2 stars. Numerous times he would tell us the price just for example $1000, but would end up being $1689. After buying almost $12,000, even at the end he would say one price but it be more. He waited until the end to say a price for delivery because you can't pick up from the store. I like Ashley's furniture. It is to bad a salesman gives one price. For example it's just $1000 more when it's $1689 total and happens over and over.
Paid a ridiculous amount of money for a very nice bed and a premium base. Now they call to tell me that the base is not in stock and they don’t know when it will be in stock. Absolutely ridiculous. When you give a customer a guarantee that an item will arrive, why don’t you stick to the guarantee instead of calling me on the day it’s supposed to be delivered to tell me it won’t be delivered.

Kim greeted us at the door and was very friendly. He was great. They were busy since a sale was in progress, but he kept an eye on us and kept checking back with us to see how we were doing. He was very knowledgeable about their products and was never pushy. He had a perfect balance between professionalism and interacting with us (kidding around, etc.) which made it an enjoyable experience. He is an asset to the company. The one drawback (which almost cost the sale) was that the sofa I chose looked a different color in different lighting. I asked to take a throw pillow home (of course I would leave a deposit) to see what color it was in my room but was told it was against company policy. I mean, who wants to spend that much money on something when you don't know the actual color? I ended up gambling, but if it's "off" I'm stuck.
Had 2 gift cards given 3 years ago that were denied, but other than that great experience.

Beyond frustrated with this place. Furniture arrived with broken pieces. They scheduled a repair but nobody at customer service can help. Nobody knows what they're doing there.

I don't know why the guy slurring cannot math. But I have a credit of $1500. I get a sofa $799. Go to pick out a recliner $649 somehow equals $1857. Don't ask for Josh. I drove from Albany to be ripped off. I called first to order but they needed me to drive 50 miles round trip to be price hiked.

Tried asking customer service multiple times about what is happening and not a single person seems to know what’s going on. Super disappointing.

I'm very sorry, it was a very unprofessional store. Not once was I greeted. I dragged a rug from clearance across the store by myself. The receptionist was not friendly. The first salesman was as phoney as anyone could be. The second salesman was trying to get a price on the rug (he finally found the manager) and at least she gave me a good price for it. But, he was, in my opinion, lazy. I ordered a nightstand and won't get for a month and I have to put it together myself! I hauled the rug out on my shoulder. I am 65! What happened to customer service? 😕

My husband and I went here to look for a sofa and a rocker recliner. We worked with a sweet young gal named Maria. I highly recommend her. She really listen to us and what we were looking for and cared about our selections. Ask for Maria if you go here. Also prices were good.
After going to every furniture store in town. I decided to buy my dinette set here. Price was the best, salesman was funny and got us the best deal.
Update: Awful, don’t recommend. Sales staff were great, but it went down hill after purchase. Ordered 2 barstools and a king bed, then a 2nd order of a queen bed and another queen bed set. The 1st delivery was the queen beds/bedset. The delivery men swore they had the king not the queen we had cleared space for and made us completely clear out the main bedroom. Afterwards, they said the hardware was missing, left it in my garage and supposedly ordered the parts. When the person showed up weeks later to assemble the bed, he said it was a queen and the parts were in the un-opened box all along! Weeks turned to months sleeping on a mattress on the floor waiting for our bed! Finally, they set the delivery and again, we cleared out the main bedroom. They showed up w/out the side rails and left the rest of the bed taking up our whole garage. I didn’t notice until they left that they ordered the wrong stools! We asked for barstools and they sent us pub stools, which are way taller. They didn’t even fit under the bar. We loaded them up and took them to the store and instead of exchanging them, we had to take them back home and wait for another order! They finally set up delivery on my bed rails, only to call the day of, after we cleared the main bedroom FOR THE 3RD TIME, to say that the rails were damaged. After several heated calls, I was told they weren’t damaged, in fact they didn’t even have them. It took over 4 months and TONS of work and stress before we finally received our bed. Save the stress and go to Mor Furniture! I’ve never had any trouble or late deliveries from them.

Once they have your money, you do not seem to matter to this store anymore. Product was damaged when it arrived, and it's impossible to get anyone but the receptionist on the phone to talk about when a replacement will arrive. Manager is always "in a meeting", and the store seems to have no power to do anything other than take your money. They just blame any delays on a third party company and make zero effort to figure out a solution. Terrible post-transaction service.

I had called the store many times and I would speak to a robot and then it rang but then it just hung up and they picked up once I told them why I was calling and then they gave me a number to call the number was the same one I was speaking to
I went in to buy a couch and could have bought it out right but I wanted to build my credit so I financed it under the impression it was a loan. The sales guy repeatedly referred to it as a loan, saying things like “see if you pre qualify for our loan” “the loan is for 12 months” and things like that. It’s not a loan. It’s a credit card. If he would have said “see if you pre qualify for an Ashley’s furniture credit card” I would have immediately said no. It was deceptive marketing and I honestly wanna cancel my order and get my couch from somewhere else. When I pay off the couch or cancel my order I’m gonna have to cancel the credit card that I never even wanted and that’s gonna hurt my credit to do because I’ll loose an account instead of my credit going up for paying off a loan. I called to complain and was on hold for 40 minutes before the phone hung up.
We bought our L shaped couch along with a recliner and 2 side tables, back in November 2022 during black Friday. We finally after contacting the company numerous times to find out were it is was able to get it end of May of 2023. When we finally got the deliveries a few of the items were broken, didn't have all the items we ordered. Also everything seems very cheaply made. Not like how they were in the store set up. Since we've had everything delivered we've had to use the warranty twice and both times was like pulling teeth to get stuff done. We are still in the process of getting the couch switch fixed that I called in about January of 2024 and was just told again that it would take another week for the warranty company to approve the switch that the repair guy said that we need for the repair.
My overall experience was good. Everyone was very helpful and professional. Sean especially made the whole experience enjoyable. His sense of humor and knowledge was very much appreciated.

Ordered a reclining chair for our son. It was suppose to be delivered today between 2 and 6pm. It has yet to be delivered and we tried calling to see what is going on. The gal on the phone said they are running late and then hung up on my husband. We called back to speak to a manager, the manager was in a "meeting" and will call us back. Never got a call back. We attempted to the call the 800 # and the store #, no one was answering the phone. The last call we made says they are closed and to call back during business hours. It is almost 10pm and still no delivery. Ashley's has now lost any future sales from us. We are so disappointed in their delivery service and customer service.
came in looking for gaming chair with only one in stock. Sales rep told me they would have to order for more to come in. One gaming chair was in clearance except the cable that the chair used to utilize the light up RGB strips on it was sliced. Sales rep also told me he would not drop the price on it any more after I pointed that out. Extremely disappointed by the quality of my visit and will not be returning.
I have tried calling the store multiple times over the last few days with a question about a couch I had purchased and have been told each time that someone would call me back. Last night I was told that I would be contacted today by 5pm, still no one called. I attempted to contact them again this evening and now no one is answering the phone. It feels like they only care about you as a customer until they have gotten your money, after that they have no interest in helping you. I'm really disappointed in their customer service.

The experience was one of my worst retail experiences of trying to buy something from a store that is selling stuff and not being able to make it happen. We walked through the store for about 30 minutes and didn’t have one sales associate come and greet us at all. Then we sat down on the couch that we wanted to buy that was right by the hub, where all of their sales consultants walked in and out of. We saw at least six people walk past us and never stop to talk to us. Finally a gentleman did he was helpful And then we purchased the couch and some wall art and were told that they were going to be delivered within a week. Then we got a phone call saying our couch was going to be delayed in for another month. We already got rid of her other couch the day before the delivery so we knew that it was plenty of room for it like they asked us to do. we still do not have our couch. We still do not have our wall art and they confirm delivery within 10 minutes earlier today and now it’s been three hours since that time. They don’t know what’s going on with my furniture at all. At first it was deferred to another store for their floor model to be in there and then they said no we will make sure it gets to your house. That did not happen. The tracking information they gave me I tracked it all the way up until 10 minutes. It was supposed to be here and now it’s not here and they’re not delivering it apparently. The company is horrible. Their customer service is even worse and people really don’t know what’s going on but I’ll tell you what they will take your money and hold it and use it for their own proper tea in Creasman without any regards to you as a customer. Some people seem to care, but nothing is being done. They’ve had almost $2000 for me for over a week and I am paying interest on it and I still won’t have any furniture for probably a month. That’s not right .
We had a great experience, we gave Josh a vague idea of what we wanted and he guided us to a ton of great options, answered all our questions, withstood our 1 year Olds tantrum and found us the perfect couch that checked all our boxes.
Ordered a couch from here in May 2023, couch was delivered to the wrong address in Portland instead of Dallas, OR. When scheduling redelivery, I told them Friday wouldn't work because of my schedule. Delivery man shows up and rings my doorbell on Friday anyways. Then, I order a new bed frame and mattress from them December 6, 2023. The delivery date is set for Jan. 6, 2023. I had my old mattress removed days before the Jan. 6 date, and then got a call that my new bed was postponed until February 13th. Then February 9th got a call that it was delayed until middle of March! Needless to say, I cancelled this order and will not be ordering with Ashley again...

I was going to order things online but I went into the showroom floor to see what was going on there that Stor and the people there that were helping me were so great and kind and helpful. I just went back there again to go and get a bedroom set for my daughter. I had a delivery date for my couch also and they were very good about calling me and sending me messages. It was an easy process. Everything just worked out well. The delivery people that delivered my couch even they were fast and efficient and I’m so glad that they took away all of the wrapping. Also. I’ve bragged a lot about the store and the things that I’ve bought and now people are wanting to go And buy my couch .
Apparently your delivery crew doesn’t speak very much English. Like sign here and goodbye. If I had any questions they probably couldn’t or wouldn’t have been able to answer them.
Worst experience ever! Purchased 3 sets of furniture in early December with 2 to 4 week delivery timelines. Manager of store unwilling to assist with multiple delivery charges. Each of three delivery dates have been delayed with one yet to be scheduled 2 months later. Two pieces from second delivery were damaged with one piece being returned. That piece was returned twice due to damage. When finally delivered, the delivery personnel punched a hole in the entryway without mentioning the damage. One piece is still on back order with no delivery date established. Calls to the store have gone with no response to our concerns. Calls to customer service, once connected have been somewhat informative on status but unable to resolve issues. As for quality of furniture, you get what you pay for ... eventually if not damaged. Never again!

Delivery was a nightmare, multiple reschedules, lack of communication, miscommunication with warehouse and store management. Months later I finally have my item, not assembled, when assembly was paid for, sitting in my house.
Worst experience ever with Ashley. They cancelled and rescheduled my order numerous times. Then expect delivery and date of delivery they cancelled again after awaiting for 3 hours and missing work. The rescheduled the date of delivery did not arrive as expected time line. I paid to have my product delivered and assembled. Product was not assembled left in boxes. The delivery driver said they were contracted and Ashley does not them hours they work over. I told him that was illegal to not pay employees hours worked. DONT BUY FROM HERE!!!
Very disappointed in my last purchase at Ashley furniture. Waited over 6 weeks for a delivery that was supposed to only take 3 weeks. Finally decided to cancel the order. It’s been over a week and a half since we canceled the item and still haven’t received our refund. I would not recommend purchasing from Ashley furniture.

How Ashley Furniture Ruined Christmas On Dec 6th we went to Ashley for one specific reason, buy a new Dining Room Set for Christmas as we were hosting, we finally settled on a set and our sales rep Kem got everything written up and eagerly took our $2500.00. With a promised delivery date of Dec. 20. Come Dec 20 the truck arrived and we showed them where to put it all. Driver came to me and asked me to look at the table, DAMAGED entire corner crushed, he said he would report it and take it back, so they left 7 chairs and the Server. Then the garbage began, First Customer service said they would have a new table to us by Saturday, in 24 hrs they will call with the delivery time as the replacement was in the system, no calls or texts, called Customer Care line, no order in the system but they would do it, call tomorrow, we called no order was placed because the driver didn't return table they said, when asked how that is our problem, "policy is we must have the return back to warehouse" before they can replace. Not caring where their driver was, we informed them of our receipt clearly stating "driver took table" they were totally unfazed by that and refused to enter order. so next step as we were told by Kem, any issues call me here's my direct line, after 4 calls and no response, we called the store only to be told no order in system as nothing had been returned. Bottom line no one from Ashley cared or was willing to do anything to help as it always came back to the driver who apparently left the state with a truckload and never retuned "I wonder if they reported it to the police" or was it all an easy excuse to lie and tell us more lies. As it is we have no table and Christmas is in 2 days. Thank You Ashely for ruining our gathering and you have certainly lost a customer for life. One day we may have a table but it seems with missing drivers, Customer Care reps that don't care and non responsive store employees it is in doubt. 12/28/23 Waited my 24 hrs to get confirmation on delivery, as has been the norm, no call from Ashley so back to customer care who informs me it was delivered yesterday and it wasn't, because the warehouse staff dropped in the warehouse and broke it. But they did send the driver to our house to stop 20sec in front of the house and then drive away. About 100 mile round trip to show the truck came to our house. Still no table

You better hope nothing goes wrong with your order or delivery from Ashley because if it does, prepare for the worst customer service you can imagine. It took 3 delivery attempts for my couch to actually arrive at my door. That’s 3 times I rearranged my schedule to be home for a delivery only to have the wrong couch show up or only a portion of the total order. That’s frustrating enough but the complete lack of organization and communication between the store and warehouse was truly shocking. I had to play middle man, which shouldn’t be a customer’s job, and still couldn’t get a straight answer. For a store that works in delivering furniture, you will be amazed at how poorly they do it. And finally, when I said I felt I needed to be partially compensated for the order due to the long postponement, I was offered an insulting $50 and my other emails were literally ignored. Do not shop here

Worst service ever, we buy a costume make living room. Couch system with wedged and everything. It took them a month to delivered, then the send us half of the order and now it's been two months and the order is not fully delivered. And when you go and ask at the store, they said there's nothing that they can do. Worst service ever, nice furniture but is not worth it.
I cant even get through to the store, it states open m-f 8am-8pm google states 9pm. But the robot tells me other wise, bought a 3 piece set black friday. They couldnt get me a stupid delivery date, promised Monday still nothing Tuesday nothing. And when you call it says stores closed (see beginning comment) when u try and pull up the date it has a error or a date of delivery jan 1 1990 so like wth. I was born in 91 so not correct. No one can answer me? Im about to goto the store.

The store was so busy and not enough help. The phones were ringing and people were standing around waiting to be helped (half a dozen people waiting to make purchases) The staff was extremely nice but overwhelmed. I wanted to pay cash for my purchase and was told I could not do that because the cash person was out. I found a piece of furniture online that I wanted and was told it was discontinued but it was on the website. Did end up ordering a few items. Hopefully they will arrive and be the quality we paid for. Furniture has gotten so expensive and its not made the way it use to be.

I needed a specific set of aspects in the sofa sleeper to fit my needs, and those needs were competently and speedily met. Although the selection was great, the reliability of getting the sofa delivered on time was very poor. I was scheduled for delivery on the 16th of December, it was changed just before the 16th to the 26th, the day after Christmas. That caused me to be without a couch for my Christmas party. The unit was delivered near 7:00 pm on the 26th. The delivery itself was good, but I should have been informed earlier of the delay in getting the sofa.
Customer service was great. He showed us a lot of options. No pressure. Checking out was simple. I gave 4 stars because the furniture is expensive.

Good variety of furniture, from economical to fancy. Plenty of helpful staff on hand. Salesman Kem was the icing on the cake. Personable, organized, and when I accidentally broke the pen his 2-year-old made for him, he took it in stride like a champ. Well done, Ashley Furniture, we'll be back.

I love the furniture and feel that I received a stellar sale price (purchased in 2021). Here is where the problems are:* Flat out lied about having infirmities in Portland warehouse after checking to ensure it was there. * Changed delivery dates frequently and has delivery at separate time for my living room set.* Attempts to communicate via phone were maddening. I still have this problem (even tonight) when I need something to connect to the store (even with the instructions to do so)* New system for phone requires you to speak to the computer assistant without being able to buy pass.* Lastly, annoyed that when I need something I have to go to the store directly.
Shopping for furniture is probably one of the least pleasant aspects of living in any space and the likes of Kim, our salesperson and Sean in customer service did their very best to make this as easy a process as possible. The store has a great selection and very reasonable pricing as well as payment options. We appreciate everyone's collective efforts in providing us world-class customer service.

This is the second day in a row I have tried to come into Ashley Outlet and they were closed when they say they are open. I will never be coming back.
Sophie gave us terrible service, I called ahead to ask if they had a specific sectional (color, style and my budget) that let her know I would be making a 35 minute trip so I wanted to check before I make the trip so she assured me they had plenty of what we were looking for under our budget $1600 in stock. We get there, she tells us to look around and she would get back to us, I walked around for about 20 minutes until she checked back in. We thought we found some but the prices listed were only for a 1/3rd piece of the couch, she said they had nothing in stock in our price range or anything in the color we wanted. I asked her why she told us they did and she said she didn’t know. No apology, was rude & didn’t even try to find anything. I took my business to The American Furniture and were treated the absolute opposite found multiples sectionals a little over our budget but we’re willing to spent that based on how we were treated.
Kem, was very helpful. We looked around the store without pressure and then reached out when we needed help and to purchase our dining room table and chairs. The delivery is scheduled within a week and we paid for them to assemble the furniture to keep the warranty. Thanks again.

Sophie is THE BESSSSST...her exceptional customer service, and knowledge of design style with furniture is what I look for and expect when shopping for furniture. She vibes with her customer's vision. I'm VERY PICKY, and have been staging, decorating spaces for decades, I'm glad I ran across Sophie and Ashley Furniture. The store was clean, organized, not cluttered. My only suggestion, maybe turn on some music, create a livelier atmosphere, theres nothing wrong with some low volume 🎶😉 playing, it was little to quiet. That's it. Other than that, great experience, can't wait for my new furniture to arrive. ☺️

Salesperson was very polite. I told him I was just looking and if I found something I wanted to buy, I would let him know. I did find something and he was very pleasant to work with. A very nice salesman.
My husband and I had a wonderful experience. Sophia was our associate and she was very good at her job! She was knowledgeable and kind. She was very patient with all of our questions and looking around at a million different things. We are happy to be purchasing with Ashley Furniture. There was 3 associates in the store with about 5 customers... I had the guy at the desk take care of my order, sloppy dress salesperson was taking car of another... all the ,while the manager did not lift a finger to help anyone... been shop there for over 15 years. No more until they can improve on their customers skills.

I'm not one for writing reviews on products but I've had enough with the back n fourth lies of the company. I ordered furniture back at the end of July beginning of August. When I ordered the furniture "everything was in stock" and would arrive on August 11...well the day before the delivery shockingly they called and said "we need to reschedule nothing has arrived", was rescheduled to the week of Aug 21, on this day only half my order came, my bedframe had arrived but no hardware so that would come in the next delivery. The rest was supposed to arrive on Sept 9th, well sept 9th came and went, no furniture. Then they sent me an email to reschedule to furniture delivery to sept 15. Fine rescheduled. THEN the company called me to reschedule once again saying "nothing has arrived in our warehouse" when I questioned where the bedframe that I ordered had gone to, since the last person I spoke with said the bedframe was there but was missing hardware, she said she had no clue what I was talking about since no one took any notes. So we rescheduled once more till tomorrow Sept 20, i had a representative from Ashleys "american" call me yesterday (09/18) to confirm my delivery and that everything would be here except the dresser on the 20th (the dresser has been back ordered) . Now I just got another phone call from someone over seas telling me that once again "nothing is in the warehouse" when I tell her that I just spoke to someone else yesterday and confirmed that everything was there except the dresser, she then stated "its being delayed due to our truck breaking down" its one lie after another with this company. I understand things happen, and things get delayed but to be bold faced lie to, is what sets me over the edge. I'm now going through the process to cancel my entire order, I will never support this company again and I recommend everyone stay away.

My In-Laws went to the Ashley Furniture Store in Salem, OR on 9/13/2023. They purchased a floor lamp and dishes. When they returned home they found that the lamp had a broken switch and 3 broken dishes in the box from shipping. To their surprise on returning to the store today Ashley Furniture would not take the products back or provide them with a working lamp or non-broken dishes. I am in shock. We’ve purchased several items from them over the years and never had a problem. I would think they would want to sell all the items in the store in working order and non-broken. They said they have a new clause that says no returns on items purchased off the floor. My In-Laws were not made aware of this prior to purchase. Our family will no longer be doing business with them and we will spread this throughout the entire community.

Wery bed service
I ordered a bedframe and was told it'd arrive that Saturday (a week from when I ordered). That Saturday morning an hour before my delivery time (I did receive delivery texts), I was told through two different phone calls that the bed wasn't even ready. I had to cancel the delivery. I rescheduled it for that following Wednesday and got a refund on the delivery fee since it made no sense that I had received texts about a delivery that wasn't even ready to be delivered. That Tuesday I had to call Ashley again because I had not received delivery texts. After having to make numerous calls to them, I eventually was told that the bed wasn't going to be ready till that Friday. When I asked why it was taking two weeks for the bed to be made I was told "I don't know" by the sales associate. That's when I talked to the manager. The manager informed me of a damage to the foot board and that they had to reorder it for Thursday. I was fine with this, but still confused as to why it was taking so long for the bed to come in if they were able to reorder the footboard and get it in two days? Made no sense. We confirmed my delivery for Friday. Friday morning rolled around and I moved everything out of my room for them to deliver the bedframe and make it for me. The delivery drivers came, but still no bed in my room because the bolts weren't supplied. I cancelled the delivery again (at this point I'm extremely frustrated). I was told that the bolts would take 5-7 business days to arrive. I called the manager again and demanded a discount since this bed was talking two weeks longer than it was supposed to. They refused to give me a discount and instead told me that they could deliver it Wednesday. I cancelled the order. Now I'm in week three and my dad was able to get a discount as well as free delivery. If I don't get it this Friday (Aug. 18) then I am officially done with Ashley Furniture in Salem. This has been the most frustrating process. Also, each time I asked to speak to a manager they were "in a meeting".
Jade was incredibly patient with my wife and I. She answered all of our questions and was willing to work with us on all the options we wanted. She spent a lot of time with us. Greatly appreciated our experience. Clean store. Helpful manager as well. Highly recommend this location and Jade, specifically.

So dissatisfied with the customer service from Ashley’s furniture! Bought a piece of furniture, even got the warranty for a couple hundred . I paid over a thousand for the furniture and it broke right after a year. The screw to support the side beams popped out because the king mattress is to heavy for it. It’s a kind size bed frame, so you think it should be able to support it. I reached out to Ashley’s over 5 times!!! And the first time they sent me to the warranty people that were like were don’t cover screws!!!! So I reached out to Ashley and asked if I could speak to a a manger, they put me on hold for a while and said they are busy I’ll put in a request to have them call you back in 24-48 hours…. A week later reached out again…. Oh well put in a request, they will call in 24 hours… nothing… so here I am broken bed frame paying still for it over 1500. Thanks Ashley… not

The store had quite a selection of furniture and accessories. We had looked online and already had an idea of what we wanted, but we took a walk around the store to look. The salesman that greeted us when we entered was busy with another customer when we were ready, so we found Kem instead. He was very helpful - friendly and knowledgeable. In addition to the living room set we wanted, he helped us find some bedroom furniture, too, without any sales pressure.

I would not shop with you guys anymore bought a bed and try exchanging it cause wrong color took us 3 weeks to get a answer from you guys everytime i call answer was will get back to you before 72hrs and nothing bad customer service they never told us buying on line we had 72 hrs for returnin item and you guy's denied my return after trying so long to get in hold of you guy's.
My 70 year old grandparents almost had to pay $1,000 more on a couch that they fell in love with. They had fallen in love with an electric leather sofa, sat down to figured out the delivery date, when the sales representative left and then came back to inform them that he had bad news; the set was actually no longer on sale and it was going to be $1,000 more than what was talked about and advertised. When my grandma spoke to the manager, who was of no help, the manager said he could not honor the price they advertised and that the display price wasn't changed because he wasn't in the office yesterday. The manager attempted to try and convince my grandparents to still purchase the set, but they ultimately decided to take their business next door. The Kelly's representative was wonderful, kind, and although they ended up paying more money for a sofa set, they were happy with the service and willing to pay the price point. My family and I will not be going to Ashley's furniture for future purchases due to the managers unprofessional attitude and the treatment of our elderly grandparents.
The gentleman assisting me was good, however the checkout was ridiculous. I was buying a lousy $15 clearance item. Computer issues made it take way, way longer than it should have. Then I to go to a different area to finally pay. And then there was about 5 pages of paper generated that the salesperson just recycled. Have you heard of paperless? Reducing paper should be the goal, not merely recycling it, that means nothing. And figure out a way to make small purchases fast and easy, this is why people buy online.

I recently purchased a bed frame from them at this store. The sales person said that it didn't need a foundation. When they delivered it they said we need a foundation and the legs are all bent up and it cracks when we lay on it. I called today less than 3 business days later and asked to exchange it Justina and Knighton said you have 3 business days. I told them I was calling within that time, and they said there is nothing they can do. When I asked to speak to the Store Manager, I was told "he is busy in meetings and they can't garrantee that he will even call me back at all". The messed up part is I don't even want to return it. I just want to exchange it for a different bed frame. I spent alot of money because I figured I would be taken care of, I even bought the extended warranty. Never had such horrible customer service. Don't shop here it isn't worth the hassle and you will get the run around like I did.
We purchased a recliner with extended warranty in November 2021. It was delivered 6 months later and the warranty was in affect at purchase. One year later, we called concerning an issue with the motor only to find out that it wasn't covered unless it stopped working entirely. Then it could be denied as normal wear & tear. What a complete waste of money. We weren't given a copy at purchase but when we finally got one, it showed it didn't really cover anything. Buyer beware.....don't buy an extended warranty from Ashley. You will be wasting your money.
For months we have been planning a surprise for our parents. We purchased 2 power lift recliners, a couch and end table. We replaced the carpet, painted and cleaned. On the day that the furniture was to arrive there were no power lift recliners. We had already sent their chairs to the dump. Ashley was no help.

The absolute lowest quality TV stand I have ever seen in my life while still being the hardest to set up with a price tag of a more mid-tier stand. Even the service was extremely slow and it was difficult to even find someone to ask for stock of an item and price (sometimes there was no tag).

If I could give negative stars I would! The customer service is terrible, especially Justine at the Salem store. My sofa and recliner was not delivered on scheduled day and then they delivered the recliner a different day but no sofa. I asked where my sofa was and noone knew! Justine at the Salem store chose to quote labor laws instead of apologizing and finding out where my couch is and when it would arrive. The recliner that was delivered was brought in with water and mud on my floors and was not put together properly. They then drove over my neighbors landscaping causing damage. I will never shop at Ashley Furniture again!

Customer care at Ashley's is an absolute joke. They have been trying to push me around for SIX months now. Refusing to fix or replace a couch that broke right away. Furniture is absolute trash and brakes almost immediately. (That's if it doesn't already come broken.) Don't waste your time. Go somewhere else to get better service and better quality.

I’m changing my review after having every piece of furniture delivery delayed and when calling Kem for help, I never received a return phone call
Would give zero stars if I could. Bought a small sectional sofa for $1500 and within a month it began to creak every time you sit on it. The creaks are so loud, it's embarrassing for guests who sit and wonder whether they've done something wrong. Sounds as if it is falling apart. They sent a technician who offered that he was never trained as to the correct way to fix furniture. He gave an honest attempt and left after taking the sofa apart, putting it back together in worse condition and the creaking still very evident. Ashley offered to send another technician though I refused knowing that it would do more harm than good. They refused any sort of in-store credit or alternative way of ensuring our satisfaction. I will never purchase anything from this store or brand again and would advise others of the same.
The only reason this store gets two stars is because of the nice sales people. The furniture looks great but don't get too excited because it will take forever to get it delivered. We had delays upon delays with little interest by the local store managers to make it right. Try another store. Maybe you'll have better luck than we're having at Ashley's.

I dreaded going shopping for furniture during the weekend during Holiday shopping season. It turned out to be pain free and somewhat enjoyable. The key was/is Wes at Ashley furniture in Salem. Wes greeted us at the door, offered assistance and let us browse. After trying a couple of couches and around the time we were understanding what we were looking for in a couch, Wes showed up ready to answer questions. He never laughed at any of my questions but answered them all seriously. He showed us a couple of items that had the features we expressed interest in, and then showed us an amazing couch that went above and beyond expectations for furniture. He then allowed us more browsing time. Finally when we had narrowed our choices down to a couple of pieces. Once again Wes appead ready to help with whatever we might need. And then Wes did the most amazing thing. Wes waited and let us decide without trying to influence that decision. And once made did not try to change our mind or upsale us.. Wes then walked us through the payment/finance options and process which was smooth and easy. During the process Wes laughed appropriately at the silly jokes I made to llighten the procedure. All in all I would totally do this again the next time I need furniture provided I once again received the help of Wes or somebody he taught.

I wish I could give zero stars. I've literally been waiting OVER A YEAR for a bed to be delivered. It was finally supposed to be delivered today. So I prepared the room, moved mattress etc. I got a call that the truck was delayed this afternoon and the new delivery time would be 8:55pm... inconvenient but okay.At 8:45 I got a call that the truck was 6 minutes away. But it's now been an hour and the truck never showed up. No call. Nothing. Just more wasted time.Has anyone from Ashley's reached out to me to check in? To say we're really sorry or we're going to make it right??? Of course not.Save your money. Sleep on the floor, it's better than being an Ashley's customer.

Ordered a new couch fast delivery but it was damaged I did not accept delivery they said they would ordered a new 2 weeks late the same exact couch with the same damages was delivered. Their reasoning the same order number. I ask if it was a new order why would the order number be the same. The honest delivery person told me that it was not a new couch. I would buy from them except that this was a warranty replacement.
Delivered incomplete sofa seats, I purchased 6 seats a month ago but they only delivered 4 seats . In advance they should call me if my delivery will be incomplete , No communication whatsoever very disappointed

Wish I could give a zero star review. My family and I went to the showroom to look at a couch. From the moment we entered the store, there was no customer service. No one said hello, and we had to track down one of the five sales associates and ask them to stop doing nothing long enough to assist us. Just so the store is aware, the only reason customers physically show up to retailers anymore is for the customer service. We ordered a couch, it was delivered with several scratches on the wood. We're now in the process of trying to return the damaged furniture, and the company is consistently ignoring our requests/not following up. We started the returns process two weeks ago, they still haven't put in the return request to their system and won't commit to a pick up date. You would think at a time when companies like Amazon are making you irrelevant, the one thing you would certainly focus on is customer service. Would not recommend.

She Was Very Professional and with information I wouldn't know to ask like if it would fit through my door or if I was looking for a recliner couch or a Sectional which I didn't know there was terms for couches lol. The sales person, Mini, at the Salem store was AMAZING!!! She showed us to what type of couch we were looking for and checked on us a few times. She didn’t stay right by us like some people do at furniture stores but she was there when we had a question. We didn’t feel pressured into buying something. We weren’t sure if we were going to buy right now but then we did find what we were looking for and at a good deal and can’t wait for it to be delivered. We will definitely be shopping there again. Today we shopped for living room furniture and were assisted by a lovely young woman named Jaden. After we entered the store, she introduced herself and oriented us to the furniture layout. Having a good idea of what we were after, we located it pretty easily. Jaden arrived at our side at the perfect time to answer our questions. Jaden made the process of purchasing our furniture easy, understandable and comfortable. We opted to purchase the protection plan as well and Jaden explained it in a very informative manner. At a time when I’ve begun to wonder where customer service has gone, this young woman presented me with an absolutely flawless presentation of it. I ordered 2 pillows and a mattress from this store. 1 pillow never showed up. It's been 6 weeks since receiving the mattress and one pillow. The store gives the run around and says they will call back or figure it out within 24 hours and they never end up figuring it out. If you want your products that you ordered and paid for do not go to this store

The store is clean and inviting. Prices are decent. The delivery experience has been horrible. We ordered a sofa and loveseat back in September, and were told delivery would be on the 7th, only the lovseat was delivered, and sofa said to be delivered on the 13th, and then again the 18th and now the 21st. The sofa is available in the warehouse, but the contracted delivery team are simply not loading it on the truck for delivery. Maybe they need to contract new delivery drivers. The customer service at my local store are friendly and have been helpful, but this is the worst delivery experience ever.

We've been to several Ashley locations in the Portland area and by far, the Salem store was the best one. It's massive floor plan was a bit overwhelming when we first walked in but the variety of interior and exterior furniture offerings is great. The staff was friendly (but not constantly in your face) and our salesperson, Mini, was both helpful and personable.

poor customer service I asked for a bed with a mattress they didn't bring me what I ordered the furniture dealers came to assemble it and they left it all crooked my bed is supposed to massage the head and feet area and it's not like that that they brought me only the area of the feet and the head goes up and it is not straight when I move with the control, I tried to talk to the customer service and they never answer I went to the store that is located in Salem Oregon and I tried to talk to the manager called ALy, but he didn't show his face, he went to lock himself in his office and sent a worker to tell me that they would send someone to install my bed properly until today no one has called, no one has come, they haven't come, I have not been able to sleep in it because it is poorly installed, I do not recommend this furniture store, very bad service,,,
Shopped today at Ashley’s Home in Salem, for a bedroom set. Met at the entrance by a very nice customer service rep (Nancy). She was very personable, asked great question to find out what specifics I was looking for. We looked at many options and ended up with my favorite bedroom set. And… it’s being delivered in early Nov/2022!! 👍 Very happy with the entire experience today!! Would highly recommend!!
My family bought a new house which meant we needed a bunch of new furniture to fill the space. We’ve been in here now 3 times in the last 2 months and Kem has been the greatest help. We will definitely keep coming back here because of him. Thanks Kem! Shelly, Shauntee, Shelby, and Hunter
I bought a very expensive sofa and asked many times if it was in stock. She assured me it was. Today I'm waiting for my sofa, a week later and guess what no sofa. I call back. It's delayed. So frustrating
I ordered a complete bedroom set. It took three weeks to get it and schedule a delivery date. When they brought it, there was no hardware for the nightstands, the screws were the wrong ones for the bed, and the dresser was defective and was sent back. It took two weeks to get a new delivery date. They came, but didn't bring the dresser. They didn't call me about scheduling. Now I'm waiting for another week to have that delivered.Very dissatisfied. I won't get anything from Ashley again.
Awful customer service. Both online and in store. Dining table was ordered online and arrived damaged had to wait additional two weeks for another one. No communication, I had to constantly call and email and text for updates. Couches and rug purchased in store was promised 8 week’s delivery and was lied too. Delivered wrong items and now only have 1/2 a couch no rug. Cannot get ahold of anyone. I overheard Customer service representative speaking with another associate saying “buyers are liers” will never purchase here again
If I could give no stars I would. I'm never purchasing from here EVER again. We ordered a sectional and recliner last year on August 2021, and we were able to get only part of the sectional. Just getting part of our sectional alone, we waited about 3 or 4 months. Which I was understanding of since we were still dealing with COVID. But we call to ask when we were getting the other part of our sectional and our recliner and they said they would give us a call. A couple months pass by. We still don't get a call from Ashley's. So, we call no one answers the phone... we call again and nothing. Over the next few weeks we call, until we got tired of waiting, so we go into the store. I find the salesperson who helped us order the first time, and she was pretty nice and helpful. She looked up my account and she said our authorization and contract had expired, so we needed to order the remaining pieces again. We order. Same thing is going on now its been about 7 month since we ordered and now they're claiming our authorization has expired again and that we needed to call syncrony to authorize the payment. I called and they have no idea what I was talking about and told me to call Ashley's back because everything on the account looked "fine". When I called back they're also saying we need to reorder again. At this point I honestly don't know what to do anymore, it's been really frustrating, angering and just overall disappointing. I'm not ordering anything again. We've been waiting for over a year just to get told we need to order those pieces for the third time.
Everything started out great, i wasn't going to purchase without getting a 5 year warranty that was part of the deal. The salesman said "deal!" Fast forward 12.5 months my washing machine breaks, I call them and they tell me my warranty through them is up at a year, that I need to contact whirlpool (Maytag) for the 5 year. After playing phone tag more than a dozen times and over 2 months without a washing machine I still have no answers on getting it fixed! In my opinion Kelly's Home furnishings should BE CLEAR WHERE THE WARRANTY IS COMING FROM! Not happy at all, with whirlpool or Kelly's. I can't even get ahold of whirlpool, it's all automated.
Ordered a couch online and of course when i get my delivery date, and then take the day off to make sure i was home to receive my couch, It never shows up. I proceed to call to see where it is and they gave me another delivery time, another month out saying i was never given a time. Not that this ‘update’ was very useful considering they gave me a week and a half range of time to expect it. Just sat on the phone for half an hour to try and figure out when it would get here but no one answered the phone… My mom has had a different experience where they completely lost a chair yet we thought it was just an inconvenience. How do you just lose a chair? It’s honestly unexceptable.

First time we purchase furniture was in 2020 for our new home, we had good experience and delivered on time. We decided to purchase furniture once again for my oldest daughters room. We purchase the furniture in April 2022 and to this point we have still not received all the furniture. We have call the customer service and their local store let me tell you worst customer service. We were promise many times that they would have one of their upper management contact us and to this point have not received a call from no one. The 2 times furniture has arrive damage to our home. We went in to Ashley and the “manager” who we talked to did not have an interest resolving our issue, when we were at the store she decided to have a side conversation with one of the employees, regarding previous customers. It’s August 15, 2022 and we still do not have all of our furniture.
Shipping to home has been disaster, the link in the email delivery confirmation never works; after trying to confirm a date it give you an error message. If you miss the one-time-call to confirm delivery, you'll be delayed another week. The customer service phone system is terrible. They recognize the ordered phone # and dont pick it up; you'll have to call from another phone # and pretend to make a new order to get with representative. If you dont confirm order before a certain time of the same day notice you dont get the shipping date and it gets delayed.
Kind of ridiculous a furniture store open at 11am. Lost a sale for sure. Based on other reviews looks like I saved myself a massive headache anyways.
This has to be the absolute worst place to purchase furniture. My good friend and I went in today, he was looking for a couch. As we walk in, there were several people walking around and several workers helping them as you could tell as they were carrying these orange iPad things. After checking out numerous couches and wandering around and getting snotty looks from one particular female employee there (its Sunday, im in shorts and a tee shirt, and it's a hot day) We wander around more, we approach the desk where said snooty female and a male were chatting, and asked if we could get some help and were completely ignored. HmmmSo we wandered a little more and he took his $2000 in cash, fanned it out and walked around, he walked toward where there were 4 employees standing around chatting together and proceeded to ignore him when finally one of the employees finally came over. We even made the comment that it was very clicking here and he said he didn't know, he was fairly new. So we show him what he wanted and the guy kept acting like he didn't want to help is so we said thank you and started to leave when as we headed to the door, they locked us INSIDE. Then when we asked a female why we could not get out the door we arrived in, she said "I don't know why they are locked" and told us to go clear to the other side and go out those doors. My friend is disabled and can't walk long distances and told her that we wanted the door opened. The manager then came ans opened all the doors (it was only 12:30 pm, and they close at 8) So, incredibly snooty, unprofessional, overpriced and will never ever go back. I don't care if I won the lottery tomorrow and could go in and pay cash.

My husband and I try to support brick and mortar stores as much as possible, even big box stores. We went into Ashley’s Home Furniture in Salem, Oregon. We knew exactly the four barstools we wanted to buy. A young lady helped us and explain she was a trainee. When it was time to make the purchase a gentleman came to help. He explained that there was a 12 week wait for delivery, (we ended up getting the stools at Ashley’s online and it only took 6 weeks). He explained that someone could deliver and assemble them for $99.00 (online it cost $61.00). We told him we would assemble them ourselves. He told us if the stools are damaged upon delivery it is up to us to drive 4 hours to the distribution center to return their damaged product. I asked why I couldn’t just return the damaged goods to this particular store 15 minutes away and he said they couldn’t take it (online, we simply send back damaged products). When it came to paying for the stools thing took a weird turn. My husband used Apple Pay for the purchase. We were told that this normally doesn’t work yet their computer was able to receive the Apple Pay. The purchase went through but they then told that we needed to verify our credit card with the physical credit cards. Since Apple Pay is encrypted, my physical card wasn’t going to match the transaction. Apple Pay is a very secure way of paying to avoid fraud from hackers. Since the physical card didn’t match the transaction we were told that they would have to run the whole transaction again using the physical card. At this point we told the 4 workers that were trying to assist us that we wanted to end our transaction. We were too frustrated to continue and decided to make the purchase online. In the long run it was easier, quicker, cheaper, faster, and overall less painful to get the stools online.
I was double charged for couches and after their investigation into the stores illegal charge to my account, they still billed me twice. I have had nothing but poor experiences from communication from the store to overloading me with email notifications. Not one single real person from Ashley’s has reached out to me about this. I will never shop there again.
The worse purchase I made they delivered halfof my order only , so I go to the store try to figure out when I can get the rest of my stuff, I'm frustrated about information customer service given , not one can give the right information , I have to waste my time trying to find out, I came to store to talk to the manager waiting and no one came an help me ..
We ordered a dining set in April, were assured our order would be here at the end of June. We actually got a delivery date middle of June early, nothing came. Called it got pushed back another two weeks no call. Waited still nothing, no call. Called again said it would be here in another two weeks still nothing. Then trying to call into the store, which is almost impossible, we had to go into the store because no one answered the phones. Waited almost an hour for the order to be straighten out.They had every excuse corporate, shipping, not enough employees, they used everything, just poor customer service. We finally had enough today and canceled the order. I will never step foot in this store again, it's not worth the frustration. I cannot recommend enough to take your business elsewhere.
I recommend not buying anything from this business or this company, if you want your furniture delivered this century anyway (details below). We had a terrible experience here that was a gigantic waste of time. We placed an order for multiple items, totaling $3,850 in mid-June, being told it would be no problem to have them delivered within 30 days. The delivery date came and went without any notification from them. We called multiple times, had rude service to deal with the order, and were offered no apology, update, or discount. A subsequent call got us a "should be end of the week" and "we'll call you to let you know" from the manager. Of course, neither of these things happened. A THIRD call got us a new estimate of delivery 5 WEEKS FROM NOW. No. We canceled and found two comparable sofas through Costco, and the exact same futon through WayFair. Both will be delivered to us within the week. Of course there was no delay with Ashley Home Furniture charging us, which they did day of the order. Awful service and communication, borderline scammy. Update: All our furniture orders arrived on time from other companies. The install and delivery was included in the cost, sometimes for the exact same item we had originally tried to purchase from Ashley. I can confirm that Wayfair and Costco are better options.
After receiving 6 emails that confirmed delivery was today, I was told I should have ignored them because my furniture isn't scheduled until Aug 10th..
Pleasant experience... weren't pushy. let us browse, but were available when we had questions. When we decided made the purchasing experience efficient and not as painful as expected.

Horrible experience. Was suppose to get furniture delivered on Friday. Which I had to get the day off just to find out it got moved to the following Monday. Had to call out of work to wait for delivery. Items get here and half the plates and bowls are broken. Realized my table wasn’t here so I ran to the delivery guys and they checked to see it was backed order. Called customer service multiple times till someone answered. Said it got to the warehouse and they will contact me tomorrow. Just to find out that another 2 weeks I have to wait. Product looks amazing with just chair hanging out with no table! Seems like no one can get a hold of me and get stuff resolved
Since this location has changed back to corporate, their customer service has gone down the drain. Fortunately Hannah was very patient with us, after my wife and I patiently waited almost an hour to even order our furniture. Hopefully something changes, otherwise this location may close!
Most furniture I've ever gotten from Ashley's was good quality, but it's a nightmare dealing with the customer service online. I wen in constant circles wasting hours on chats with them. They didn't honor their "Price Adjustment Guarantee" when the price of something I bought changed within 30 days. They sent me in constant loops with employees who took too long to respond and kept ensuring they would transfer me to the correct department for that. They would not give me any phone number to call or email address when I asked. Their game must be to waste your time and frustrate customers so much that they will give up on getting what's owed to them. Please do not deal with them.
I'd give it negative stars if I could. We ended up canceling a 10,000$ order after over 6 weeks of being lied to. They never answer the phone unless you call right when they open. While we went to store to cancel 4 other people canceled their orders too. They had 9 people standing around only two on phone. I'd never shop there again. They don't even seem to care. Every number we tried was non working. Do your research before going there. 7 weeks wasted. We went somewhere else got the same or better for cheaper plus 2 days for delivery.

Bought a chair in December 2021.It is now June 2022,still no chair.It is not a golden chair with built in wifi and teleportation ability. It is a plain old,simple chair."Can I just have the floor model?"...."No".How are they still in business?Never again. ***Update:11 months after buying that simple accent chair it has finally come!Sure,the driver called when he showed up at our house(with no advance indication that anyone was coming)and he threatened to leave if my wife didn't get there in three minutes(she works down the street),but who's complaining?!I should have it bronzed with the words:My very last purchase from Ashley Furniture ever.
The absolutely worst customer service I have ever received. It’s not worth it guys. The in-store people are lovely but you cease to exist to them the moment you sign for the purchase. No contact, hour upon hour wait times, fractured customer service departments all over the country, cancelled deliveries and NO communication unless you take the time and effort to call all over heck and back. I have put in 9 - YES NINE hours of my time calling them because they have bailed on every commitment they have made. They do not care at all about you. Everyone is experiencing delays, but at least other furniture stores bother to tell you and care about whether or not you remain a customer.
I purchased a love seat from Salem Oregon store and was told it was "in stock and no problem being delivered June 10." I received a text June 6 asking me to confirm delivery on 10th which I did. June 8 I got an email conforming the 10th delivery. June 9 I got an email saying they would deliver between 8 - 12 on 10th. A few minutes after I got that email I received a call saying the item wasn't in stock and they might be able to deliver it on 17th. Was told by the store "sorry there's nothing we can do." Aaaaaaargh! Terrible customer service.
ASHLEY SELLS NICE FURNITURE AND THE SALES PEOPLE ARE HELPFUL BUT THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS MISERABLE. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO REACH ANYONE BY PHONE AND THE ONLINE CHAT IS A SICK JOKE. APPARENTLY ASHLEY CANNOT AFFORD TO STOCK ANYTHING SO CUSTOMERS MUST WAIT UNTIL THE BOAT FROM CHINA DELIVERS THEIR ORDER. IF YOU EVER GET WHAT YOU ORDERED FROM ASHLEY YOU ARE TRULY BLESSED.
I ve been so unhappy with this whole experience all around...from customer service to delivery and now to quality of furniture....plus it is over priced. After 1 year...my sofas squeak....ive tried adjusting screws and they steal squeak even when I m sitting down and just simply cross my leg over....so sad how the quality is so cheap on over priced furniture. TOO BAD I CANT RATE LOWER THAN 1 STAR
Friendly staff until you go back a few hours after making a purchase to get a refund on a piece of furniture that will not arrive in the state for 2 more weeks. Quite unfriendly and abrasive.

I ordered a desk and chair in August 2021. I’ve had 5 delivery dates and the latest was supposed to be May 2022 however when I went to check I found out that it had been changed to July 2022. I never get notification from Ashley, it’s only when I check on my delivery do I find out that the date has been changed. I even get emails a week in advance saying your delivery is coming soon then nothing. I’ve emailed Ashley review and have heard nothing from them. I will be getting a refund and never buy furniture from Ashley again.
7/12/2022 update. We requested a refund on May 27th for our entire order totallying more than 21k. We have still not recieved the refund. In June they indicated that no one had signed the paperwork at their office and so it had not been processed. We have recieved no communication since. Next step will be an attorney and the news outlets. This place is awful. I would give no stars if possible. My mother lost her home in the 2020 fires. In February 2022 we went into Ashley Furniture in Salem Oregon and spent over $20,000 to furnish her new home. At that time we were told that some items were in the warehouse and others had to be ordered but the entire order would be delivered in March 2022. Come March we were told that none of the items were available and it would be late April. In April we were told none of the items were available and they were scheduled for delivery May 17th. May 16th I called to confirm and we were told no items were available and they were not estimated to be available until June 21st. I just called back and now they are saying July but we might got some in June, however it is hard to say. This is completely unexceptable business practices. My 76yr old mother is siting on boxes after having lost everything. Shame on Ashley Furniture. Make this right.
We purchased a couch in January. We chose one specifically because it was in stock. We were told it would be delivered on Feb 27th. It never showed up and we never received any communication from Ashley about the delays. When we called to inquire about the delivery of the couch, we were told that there was no ETA on it even though we had selected one that was in stock and our salesman had confidently told us it would be delivered in February. We called again in April and were told it would be delivered May 17th. When we didn't hear anything leading up to the 17th, I called again and was told it would be mid July before we got it because it still wasn't in the local warehouse. I argued that it was ridiculous to keep delaying a couch that was supposedly in stock in January. An hour later the couch mysteriously appeared in the warehouse and was delivered on the 19th. If dealing with this store, remember that they lie to make sales, and they only want to help if you are complaining so go full Karen if you want anything to get done.
Figured I would leave a review as there are LOTS of bad ones that had me worried.. pros: ordered a mattress and power loveseat on may 1 2022, and have just received a scheduled date of 5/23 for both. Obviously could change but folks with 6 months of no word had me nervous, plus diff furniture diff time-frames I am sure. Will update if receive or don't. Told in store calls won't be answered and best to stop in for an update but just waited patiently. Cons: walked around for an hour ignored by salespeople (40 and white) until we asked the assist manager for help. Once we got help it went really well (thanks AM and Nekole). Many folks walked in and got help right away not sure what we couldn't get help even standing in front of the main desk. Almost left, hopefully glad I didn't. UPDATE: furniture delivered on time with zero issues.

Should be zero stars. We understood it would take a couple/few months for our order to be delivered. Then it was going to be half on the scheduled February date and the rest in May. The table wasn't included with the May delivery so after a negative review response to an email from Ashley Furniture, we were told the table was at the warehouse and it would be delivered on May 10th. No call no show. Another bad review follow up and we were told today, another no call no show. Ashley Furniture is a joke and I highly recommend anyone considering buying from them, should look elsewhere.
Ordered a couch a few months ago and the delivery date has come and gone with no updates from Ashley's, and no furniture. I haven't heard a peep from these folks on when it will be delivered despite having driven down to talk with them in person once already. Can't seem to reach them by phone no longer how many times you call, what day you call, or what time you call. Do not buy from here. Ever since they got new management it's been a mess.
This is by far the worst experience we've had buying furniture. We ordered a couch on Nov. 27 and were told it would be delivered Dec. 29. It wasn't...Then we were told it would be February 28...it wasn't. Next date--April 29. We waited and waited...nothing. Next day--May 6. We were just told that delivery will PROBABLY be May 10. The company has not been forthcoming about the problems with suppliers. Instead, they promise delivery dates they do not control. Update: Ashley Furniture reached out...and the saga continues. Yesterday, we were told the couch had arrived at the warehouse and was being processed. Today we are told the couch will arrive on May 9 and after it is processed, we will be notified of a delivery date. Communication with Ashley's customer service told us that we should not rearrange our schedules until we have a definite timeframe for delivery. So this morning we were super excite when we were told that the couch would be delivered tomorrow between 8 and 12. Short lived happiness....now the delivery is pushed to Thursday. It is absolutely incredible!!!!!!! Final update The couch was delivered today!!!!!!!!!! That is six months after it was ordered.
Use to be my favorite place to buy furniture but it has changed owners in the resent past. Ordered a couch in September 2021 with a delivery date in late October early November and it never came. Contacted Ashleys customer service multiple time and was told my item was discontinued. Would go into the store and they said it wasn’t discontinued, kept getting delivery date pushed back over and over again. Finally had to cancel after being told again that my new date was in June. I was not willing to wait for almost a year for a couch that i don’t even remember what it looks like. Very disappointing.
Our sales rep was super honest that it would take 4 months before we got our furniture. 6 months later no email or any follow up. I’m giving a 2 start for lack of communication on behalf of Ashley’s. I would of waited patiently for 8 months if they didn’t drop the communication ball.

She wasn’t pushy at all, but was confident in her knowledge & ability to help. Took almost 4 months to get my furniture. They order me the wrong mattress instead of the firm one I ordered. After assuring me they would replace it with the correct mattress and that they would call me when it arrived, I didn't receive a call for weeks. I followed up and they said there was no replacement ordered. The employee that ordered my replacement even admitted I had come in to request it and I have call logs confirming he called to say it was ordered. They told me even though it was their fault they wouldn't make it right. Long wait and 0 accountability, I will never do business here and encourage every person I speak with to avoid them and the money they cost me.
Was contacted twice by email that my recliner was being delivered. First time received call later in the day and was told the recliner was on backorder. The second time the wrong recliner was delivered and the correct one was again on backorder. They don't know when it will be delivered. What a mess!

Except delays. I don't understand why they sell items in their store that they don't have to ship. I ordered around February and my items keep delaying. I may not even get them until end of summer. Originally my expected was 6 weeks. If you need items quickly, I suggest going somewhere else. They don't even call you to inform you. I have sent emails with no response, I've called and they don't pick up right away. When they do pick up, it's always another month out. I'm never shopping for furniture here again. I definitely do not recommend. I have been without furniture in my house since then and its frustrating. It almost feels like a scam. My star from to to 1...after seeing someone literally ordered in june and got their April. RIDICULOUS!!!
Was supposed to get my couch in Oct 2022. Salesman told me it was in a warehouse across the state line. Every scheduled delivery was pushed back. Couch is still on the floor getting sold with the same lie. June 30 was my next "expected" delivery date. Liars for sure.. obviously I canceled my order and will NEVER return. Edit: Oct 2021. I was told I would have it in 30 days. I have already talked to Ashley's. They lie.
+Updated 06/29/2022+ *This paragraph denotes my experience on the day of purchase* Courteous and professional. All my questions were answered. I was shown everything I asked about. We were given plenty of “space” while we talked through our purchasing options. No one was pushy and at no time did I feel rushed. *Below is my experience to date* Zero, and I mean Zero communication. To find out anything requires 1 hour + on hold. Original delivery date at time of purchase, was 05/25/2022. on 05/24/22 I called and told all my items save 1 were at the warehouse and it was expected "today". I should be receiving a call within the next couple of days. I waited 5 days and I called back, to which i was told delivery would be June 27, 2022. I spent most of the day June 28th 2022 trying to get an update, no success. I spent 3 hours on June 29th and I finally got an updated delivery of July 23rd, I said no thanks cancel my order. Suddenly I was offered delivery on July 2nd, I accepted. No sooner than I had accepted, I was told Im sorry that date is not available, how about July 12th. I said July 12th would work, but it would be the last day I would be willing to accept delivery. I asked for a delivery confirmation in writing, I was told sure, you will get a text 24 hours in advance. I said no maam, I would like an email stating a delivery has been scheduled for July 12th. Sir you will get a text 24 hours in advance. This went back and forth until I said just cancel the order. BUYER BEWARE! They will courteously sale you anything you will buy, but receiving those items is highly deceptive and will take many months with many missed delivery dates. I strongly believe the DoJ should investigate under the "Unlawful Trade Practices Act" ORS646.608 and ORS 646.607
This place only goal is to make the sale they mislead customers to believing that they have what they want in stock and you end up waiting months and months then they lose part of your delivery so you have to wait another 3 to 4 weeks
If you want to be disappointed, treated rudely, and completely ignored, then this is the place for you. I was a loyal Ashley customer for years, until my last experience. I waited months for the sofa I was told I would have in weeks. Ashley staff never reached out to me, I spent hours on hold and calling different numbers trying to reach them and leaving messages and requests for call backs that were never answered. 3 separate delivery times were set, disrupting my business and personal schedule each time, and each time after no sofa delivered, the staff at Ashley were very hard to reach (wasting countless more hours of my time), were rude when I did reach them, and could provide me no answers. A few of the employees at the Salem store tried to explain the situation as, "well, we are now corporate owned". Whether corporate or the Salem store staff are the ones who really don't care, I shall never know. I will never purchase from Ashley again, and I strongly recommend anybody who does not wish for headache, hassle, or frustration do the same. The only reason for the 1 star on this rating is that it is required to post a review. Had I the option for negative stars, I would have gone that route.
Ordered a bed for my 3 year year old back in Dec 2021. They have called 5 times to confirm delivery, yet a few days before delivery they call to push it another month out. They called in Feb 2022 to schedule a delivery of half the order, then called to say the warehouse doesn't have it in stock.. I got called in March and told everything would arrive by April 7th, here it is 4 days before delivery and they called to say it won't get delivered until May 12th. I'm furious as this is the worst service I've received. 1 hand doesn't know what the other hand is doing there. We bought from them before they became corporate owned and never had these kinds of problems.. since they became Corporate owned, I've had problems. I will never spend another dime in Ashley furniture..

I went in mid February to order some living room set, and the guy that helped us informed us that we would get a delivery by March 9th but nobody communicated with us in the mean time by March 6th I called to confirm and they advised it was not to be delivered until March 24th, and got a "confirmation on that" then on 3/22 I called to confirm the time when the furniture would be delivered and I was told not until 4/21. The employee name ERA (who now by the other comments seems to be the store supervisor) said I could give a word to Craig or Greg the store manager on Thursday when he is back. She mentioned that we are given estimated time frames only of 4-6 weeks but if I get it by their new "estimated" time frame it will be well over 2 months. So, no communication at all, misleading information and on top of everything the very unprofessional sales person who helped us made this experience cringe worthy as he would not stop flirting with my sister which made things so very uncomfortable. I don't think I'll every be dealing with this store ever again!
If I could give zero stars I would, horrible customer service called more than I can count on my feet and hands and was on hold for more than 20 min and then always cut off and hung up on its own, their delivery service is rude and shady and did not even call for delivery or let us know a time frame, we can’t miss work all day we need to know a time customer service (Ashly) did nothing and delivery service left and returned couches, not to mention we waited 4 months for these couches and now we have to wait even longer.
My Husband and I are Black. This store was full of workers, and NOT ONE of them offered any assistance! We witnessed other (not black) customers that came in after us getting acknowledge and helped. We were in the store for almost an hour. We were looking for a new living room set and kitchen tabel. We left when we saw they clearly did not want our business 😒 Went over to Lazy Boy and purchased a beautiful sectional and table 8,000 Sale. So thanks Ashley for your Disgusting display of Customer service to us Black consumers. WE HAVE SPREAD THE WORD, TO OTHER FRIENDS AND FAMILY.
Ordered a new living room set. Only 8 weeks have gone by with no word on delivery. It was in stock in a Seattle warehouse. Biggest problem is there is no way to contact them other then go to the store which I have neither the time or patience for. WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN. THEY ARE RUNNING A SCAM. It has been paid for also

I came in 2/20/2022, looking for a bed and a sectional. I was greeted by Jennie and immediately knew I was in good hands. Told her I was looking for a quality bed and a sectional. She took me over to the Tempur Pedic section. Asked me how I slept and showed me lots of options. I landed a nice bed and then we went on to the sectionals. Jennie was very professional and answered all my questions with ease. She was super nice and helpful. Truly an asset to the team! She then showed me options on sectionals and helped me find the perfect one. I can’t remember the last time I went shopping and it was as easy and fun and informational as today! Jennie, your’e a rockstar! Thank you! And to management, give this girl a raise! ASAP! I’ll be back, but to only work with Jennie 👍🏻
They don’t answer
First place we visited and we fell for their trap. Seemed decent, but it fell apart fast in time.High pressure sales, negative and inaccurate information on competitors, political statements from sales staff, they don't answer their phone calls and long delivery dates without any guarantees. Plus when you cancel because you realized they were a joke they give you a guilt trip about how much of their time you wasted (Salesman let me know 4 times) and they make you come in to cancel when you really don't need to.Find another place, trust me.
Disappointing customer service. Needed lift chair for my disabled husband, first off why would you position your lift chairs all the way in the back of the store, where a person with walker has to go through a maze of trip and fall hazards. Second, sales associate didn't seem interested in helping my husband since seniors with disabilities was going to paying for chair, store was supposed to send email with price ect, they never did, then we couldn't find an actual phone number for the salem store, so we emailed sales associate and never heard back. So i will not be purchasing a thing from Ashley and we went to other stores that where very helpful.
My husband and I ordered an ottoman and it never showed up. Apparently it was discontinued but nobody from Ashley’s called to let us know. I called 3 times to attempt to get my money back, each time the customer service rep told me it would be refunded to my card all three times, it never was. After finding the time to go into the store, I dealt with the “manager”, Doug, who showed the poorest quality of customer service I have ever encountered. Not once did he apologize for any of the hassle I have dealt with in trying to get my refund and instead said there was nothing he could do since my husband wasn’t with me since it was on my husbands credit card. It wasn’t until I got angry and said I wasn’t leaving without someone making the situation right for me, that they miraculously could fix the problem and give me my refund. The sweet office supervisor, Era, stepped in to deal with the situation and made everything right. Ridiculous that I had to raise my voice and demand better customer service in order to finally get my money back. Doug has no business being the manager of a retail store. His managing skills when dealing with customers is about as good as my two year old could do. Thank you Era for stepping in and demonstrating above par service.
We ordered our furniture in September 2021 they said it would be in by Thanksgiving. After not hearing from Ashley I tried to call, but their number changed. so I had to go in and get their new number. They told me the furniture would be in by Christmas. Christmas came and went with no furniture! We called and they said the paper we signed was expired. So we signed another paper. Finally got an email saying that our furniture would be delivered on Feb.5th. So my husband took the day off work to be there for the delivery. We didn’t get a call telling us what time so we called again. The guy told us that the paper we’ve already signed twice was once again expired and we would not be getting the furniture delivered!!! After waiting for 5 months we canceled our order. There we 5 other people in at the same time as us canceling for the same reasons we canceled. I will never shop at Ashley again and would never recommend them to anyone I know. The worst furniture experience and customer service I’ve ever had!!!
Waiting for 10 weeks now for couch and ottoman. I haven't received any updates. Been calling for days..on hold for half hour with no one answering. They have an opt in for texting - BUT THE TEXT PERSONNEL CAN'T HELP ME. How is this good business?
Be prepared to wait months for you delivery. We ordered a few pieces back in November. Told it would be 2-3 weeks and now we are told sometime in April! Contacting customer service was a nightmare but we finally got a credit.
Just don't buy from Ashley. The most incompetent furniture store ever. Classic example of when a company becomes too big, they can no longer operate effectively. Issues before COVID, but things I could live with. They're so offensive with their sales they run, it's infuriating to see the tactics they use on normal customers. This store in particular, can't get their act together since being "acquired by Corporate." We've had orders canceled and changed, twice now. I get an email stating sorry, but we're trying to get your order fulfilled, the day prior to scheduled delivery; no further details than that. I log onto the Ashley website to see what's going on with my order, and there's no order to be found. One can only assume, it has been canceled for a third time. At this point guessing we will have to spend $4000 elsewhere, which is a shame, because we did love the bedroom set. This may quite possibly be the most upset, frustrated, disappointed, angry, etc, feeling I have ever had with a business. I will move onto other things with my Saturday since there is no details for delivery. Fully expecting to receive a call later stating no one was home to receive the delivery....
When ordering, you'll be told something along the lines of a 3 month wait. Expect a minimum of 7 months, with poor to zero communication. Expect delivery dates set and delivery dates missed with no communication. Expect to have to physically go to the store for any information as to delivery appointments, status, etc. No one will answer your calls. Expect to take time off of work for said delivery, only to find that it's been postponed again after you're forced to go to the store to confirm. (You'll need to physically go to the store for this. Phones are not answered.) Expect delivery dates postponed so many times that you entirely lose trust that it'll be delivered at all. If I had been told that it was a minimum of a 7 month wait, and that confounding delivery date games would be played - not a chance would I have purchased from Ashley. If I hadn't already put SO much time into this nonsense, I'd cancel in a heartbeat. The same two chairs that I purchased were in-stock & available for immediate delivery at multiple online stores, at a lower price-point. I prefer to purchase locally when possible & as the wait was only 3mos, I figured that I could wait in order to patronize an establishment employing a local staff. Ashley, you've earned yourself a disillusioned, frustrated customer who has entirely lost trust in your company. Unfortunate to say the least. Edit: I ordered in August, the most recent delayed delivery date is sometime in March.
TERRIBLE customer service.We ordered a bedroom set that took over a year to get delivered. Anytime I called no one would answer the phone and I had to bother the sales person on their cell to get anyone to help me. Once it was delivered the delivery crew was unprofessional and rude. To make up for it I was given a giftcard that is only valid in store and does me no good because I absolutely do not want to buy furniture from them and the only items I would use it for is available online. When I went to pick up the giftcard they gave it to me then brushed me off when I tried to ask about how I was supposed to use it. Very rude and terrible customer service.
We ordered a couch and loveseat; got a rug and chair, next we got another rug, canceled order, get it right or go out of business!
I just bought my first home and have a lot of things I needed for it, so I came to Ashley’s hoping for a smooth experience. The experience has been anything but smooth, and I would not recommend using Ashley’s. I ordered a couch and bedframe in-store in early November 2021. The original delivery date was at the end of that same month. There were probably 3 or 4 delays of that original delivery date, and multiple times these delays would happen AFTER the delivery had been confirmed and “changes could no longer be accepted”. There was never an explanation as to why the delivery delays occurred, only the scheduling of a new date. I did receive the furniture in mid-December (which big picture is a small time delay compared to many of the other reviews I have seen), but the couch was delivered with the incorrect pieces - two left arm facing and no right arm facing. There was confusion on the support end when I tried to get this fixed - they entered that I had three left arm facing pieces. Finally a delivery date was scheduled for January 13th (today!) to pick up the incorrect piece and deliver the correct piece - a month after the date I received the incorrect pieces. Well, after having confirmed the new delivery via text and email and when “changes could no longer be accepted”, they contacted me today with a confirmation text for my delivery on January 15th. Again, no explanation as to why the confirmed delivery would not take place today on January 13th. January 15th doesn’t work for me, so I had to call in and have it rescheduled to January 18th. At this point it will have been almost 2 months since my originally scheduled delivery date, and over a month since I received an incorrect delivery, and I still don’t have the correct pieces that I paid a lot of money for back in early November. And based on prior experience, I have absolutely zero confidence that my delivery on January 18th will actually take place. There has been no compensation of any kind for the inconvenience (even when it comes to the $300+ delivery fee that I learned about on checkout), and I was told that the best I can do is to call in on the day before my scheduled delivery to see if it will actually happen. I will likely not shop here again, as the reliability and transparency issues are not worth the hassle AT ALL. Be careful taking your business to Ashley’s.
Will my furniture ever come? I realize there are supply chain issues, but I ordered in June of 2021 and I was told it would be 8-12 weeks for delivery. I finally got a call in November updating me that delivery was set for a December date. Then a few days before the December date I was called to be updated January 14. Just got the call that they are pushing back to February. I would have appreciated honestly at the point of sale letting me know that supply chain issues are leading to an undetermined date of delivery. If I would have known it would have been this far out for delivery that would have been a factor in my decision between Ashley and another furniture store that had a sofa in stock that was my second choice. **Update: furniture finally delivered April 2022. Was able to negotiate a discount. On the last date that I recall (maybe they called me to push back the delivery date for like the 7th time and I forgot to write it down this time??) them telling me it was to be delivered they didn't show, so I called and they ended up setting a new delivery date a couple days later. Delivery service went very smoothly. Reminder text the day before, called when they were running AHEAD of schedule, and they assembled furniture quickly.
John Burton, Sara and Maria were excellent sales persons delivery service 3 weeks out! Some employees need training on customer service. I sent 5 people to the store. Customers are your business. Thanks to the dynamic trio they received excellent care.

They fixed our poor quality table in March but didnt return the table leaves. We just realized this and I contacted the Salem store a week ago. A woman named Era called me right back. I explained the situation, she seemed irritated. Said she'd get back to me. She never did. I have emailed her every day to no avail. They are going to get a visit from me very soon if I dont hear back.
Me and my boyfriend came in looking for ideas and pricing on some couches. We walked in and decided to just browse for a little bit, when we walked back up near the front, Bobbi was quick to gladly introduce herself and help us out with what it was exactly that we were looking for. She showed us every available item that matched the description of what we wanted. Once we decided to finalize purchases and such, she had mentioned that she was newer and needed some guidance with the paperwork. I never would've guessed that she was new if she never told us! She was very helpful and kind in leading us through our first big furniture store purchase.
This place is absolute garbage. I bought a couch from a guy named Kareem here back in early September. He didn’t tell me until after I said I wanted to buy it, that it would be twelve weeks for delivery. I gave it aome thought and decided to go through with it. I paid somewhere around 3500 for the set. Shortly before thanksgiving, I get a phone call informing me that my couch and recliner will be delivered on Christmas Eve. I ask them if there is any other date available because I am not going to be home On Christmas Eve. They give me one other date that is the following week which I will still be out of town and then tell me there are no other dates until late January. So I agree to Christmas Eve delivery date and the phone call ends and I change my travel arrangements around so that I can be home for the delivery. Now I am sitting here in my empty living room on Christmas Eve after getting off the phone with customer support. It turns out that at some point, my delivery date was pushed all the way out to April 4th. The customer service agent who helped me was helpful, but obviously, I am beyond upset at this point so I canceled the order. It would’ve taken another 24-48’hours just to get an answer back from their team on if and how they could make this right. Do. Not go here, the furniture overpriced, the customer service stinks, and apparently they have no issue charging you $3k+ And then making you wait 7 months for your delivery: what a joke.
Not happy and will never do business with these people again. Still battling with Ashley homestore. Purchased a chair and then asked for a refund because they kept changing delivery window ..delivery was too far out. They sent me a check for my refund I deposited it and it bounced. Have been in contact with the store for several days they have been trying to contact headquarters to refund my money. Funny while paying cash they were very anxious to take my money but trying to get it back as a nightmare. BEWARE
Went in last week and spoke with Tyson. He was great but the piece I wanted was out of stock and he didn’t know when it was coming back. Inventory was being done in the outlet so he told me to come back Wednesday. (Today) Tried going into the outlet, sign on door says customers can’t be unattended in outlet and to see sales associate. Mind you, it’s pouring down rain.. we walk down to the front entrance and I let the lady know in the front we would like to look around. She said no, that the outlet closed and there is nothing but lamps in there anyway. I told her I could see through the windows and could see a large array of artwork, couches and chairs. I asked when it reopened and she turned and started talking to a coworker instead of answering. If the outlet has different hours than the regular store, please update! Put a sign on the door with correct hours. Train your staff to be polite. Such a weird experience with her and left a bad taste in my mouth.
Ordered two recliners from this store was told it would take 12 weeks to get done. Now 5 months later and multiple times my recliners have been delayed and I still don't have them. Was told that I'll be receiving them Jan. 23rd which I have zero confidence I'll get. Hope they reimburse me for their screw up. 7 months now and still haven't received my recliners. Today I will be cancelling my orders.
In mid-October 2021, we found a lovely dining table set at Ashley HomeStore. Our saleswoman, also Ashley, started out friendly, but quickly gave us the runaround. She told us that we PROBABLY would not have the table by Thanksgiving, but we'd DEFINITELY have it by Christmas. Fast forward a couple weeks, and we noticed that the sales receipt actually says 12-18 weeks, rather than the 6-8 that she mentioned verbally. We wrote it off as a mistake and kept waiting. On December 12th, I tried to email Ashley directly, but her email bounced. I then tried to call the store, but sat on hold for nearly 20 minutes with no answer before hanging up. The next day, we went to the store and asked to speak to Ashley. A sales rep messaged her for us, and let us know that "they" would be back in five minutes. I assume "they" is Ashley and her boyfriend, who also works at the store. After 10 minutes of waiting, the sales rep told us that we could speak to customer service directly. Long story short, we found out that the table was going to arrive by late February at the earliest. The dates that she'd told us were completely incorrect. Luckily, we were able to cancel and get a full refund due to satisfaction. In addition, after ordering the table, I had Ashley get us a quote for a Stanton couch. We already had a three-piece set that we'd purchased elsewhere, and needed some new pieces for the new house. She verbally told us that they not only price match, but that if we ordered by the end of October, we'd also get 30% off thanks to the sale they were running. Her price seemed high, even with the supposed 30% off, so we got a quote from the furniture store we bought our couch at originally. Their non-discounted price was lower than Ashley's discounted price. We brought the quote back to Ashley for price matching, at which point she said she could EITHER price match OR give us the 30% off--NOT what she told us in the first place. We were pretty done working with her by this point, so I told her we were going to go elsewhere. She offered another $100 off the price match, but I had no desire to work with her anymore, not even to save $100. Instead, we ordered the couch from the original furniture store. We'd rather pay an extra $200 for the furniture store to drive 50 miles to deliver our couch than ever work with Ashley again. Perhaps if she'd spent less time hanging all over her boyfriend, she would have been a better saleswoman. Very disappointed all around. I understand delays in delivery, and I'm not even mad about that. I'm mad at the fact that Ashley (the saleswoman) verbally lied to us or misled us, or both. I'm mad that the store is impossible to get ahold of. I'm mad that the other employees at the store seemed lazy and reluctant to talk to customers during each of the five or six times we were there, and clearly don't care about their customers at all. These other reviews are pretty telling and I sure wish I'd taken a look a these before we wandered in. This was literally the worst experience I've ever had shopping anywhere. We will absolutely never shop from this store again.
Second go round buying a lot of furniture here - first time I said I’d never do it again as after initial sales experience (which was good) communication ended, furniture arrived missing pieces and communication was terrible … seemed rather like hey now that we have your money we don’t really care that your missing your bed slats or that the furniture doesn’t assemble correctly - fast forward three years later and again needing tens of thousands of dollars worth of furniture and couldn’t fine what we wanted - went back to Ashley and again great sales people and now that they have charged by credit card 13 grand no one answers the phone, the furniture has not arrived on it’s various anticipated ship dates- got a credit hold out on my account even though I paid in full at time of purchase no one cared - I had to waste three hours of my day to go down to store and get them to fix their system - absolutely the only way to communicate is to go to store in person - none of the ohone numbers lead to anyone who can help and they all tell me to go back to the store of purchase for any info - to date six weeks later I have gotten one love seat and one chair minus its ottoman and a bed - all the rest of the furniture in limbo land - missed first ship dates second and third - no one told me I just found out when it didn’t ship and I went to the store to find out why - buying furniture from Ashley is a full time job apparently. And once they’ve sold it they really are very blasé fair about when it ships or how much of your time it takes to glean updates from them. That being said as soon as I have a spare moment I will be heading on down to the store of purchase to cancel the remaining 8 grand of furniture that has not shipped - because even if Ashley doesn’t care that they have had my money for heading towards two months and can’t get their communication together I do care.
If your after a piece of furniture you want today a showroom style store is not for you, but if your not in a hurry and can wait, the staff are friendly and they have a lot of furniture to choose from.
Wanting to replace my entire living room with new furniture, I decided to go to Ashley's thinking it had well-made furniture. When being helped by the salesman, I told him that I needed a sofa, love seat, and oversized chair that would last and not break down. I was looking for leather. I was pointed to a product that I purchased and was told that it would last forever because it had springs in the cushions, and they wouldn't break down. This was important to me, as I have a back issue and to him this. When they finally delivered my furniture, there was a large scrape on the back of my oversized chairs that they tried to cover up. I requested it either be exchanged or fixed. it took almost 9 months, and it wasn't until I called to find they sent the new fabric to the wrong address. When I finally received the leather to the chair and the tech came out to fix the chair, I asked him about my sofa and loveseat; the cushions were already breaking down less than 6 months after ordering (not received, ordered). the tech informed me that there are no springs in the cushions. I called and spoke to the customer service manager, and they were to send someone out. the tech came out to look at my coffee table that was bubbling and to look at the cushions. After waiting several months of not hearing anything, I went into the store and spoke with the manager. Evidently, the store had been part of a franchise and they broke apart. they had no information on anything. they said they didn't take any of the paperwork with the separation. The manager told me he would call me back at the end of the week... He promised!! I laughed at that because I knew that he was just blowing smoke. it has now been almost 3 weeks and I am still waiting for that promised call. I called corporate and they said they can't get into my information because the Salem store has it locked. They are referring me to the upper management and from there I don't know what will happen. Everyone keeps saying that it's been over 12 months, but what they don't see is that I didn't receive my furniture until months later and I have called several times to get the repairs. No one is taking responsibility for their poor products.

Ashley's online customer service is the worst!!! It took approximately six months and more then one delivery to receive a bedroom set. The bed was damaged. On another order, One of two chair tables was damaged. The furniture is low quality. The dresser came approximately two months later and was badly damaged. Sent back and then I canceled because they wanted another six months before delivery again. They still cannot get the billing correct or finalized. I would NOT buy anything from Ashley's again. It has been a nightmare from the start and is still going on.. The worst retailers ever!!!
I ordered a couch on October 2nd. I came in to the store to check on the status of my couch after no emails or calls informing me the couch was ready for pick up. To my surprise it is now Dec 3rd and the individual at the customer service desk tells me that the manager Tom is no longer working there and that the authorization for my order didn’t go through. So my couch was never ordered and I wasn’t even informed of it. Here I am with no couch prior to the holidays. I was offered to make a reorder and reactive my account with synchrony. Didn’t even get offered a discount so I can re-order. Time to find my receipt to see if I had made a cash down payment or not. Very disappointed. I was very happy with the sales team as I have purchased with Ashley’s before. Over 7K.
Worst experience of my life. I placed an order two weeks ago and was given today as a delivery date. Window was 11:30-3:15. I get that deliveries can have issues or get delayed. THE PROBLEM. I had a rep constantly call me updating me on the delayed times. Then a call around 7:30 saying it’s 19 min away. It is now 8:52 and my update now says 9:30 and it shows the driver heading north towards Washington and I’m in Salem. If you are not able to deliver just say it. Don’t lie to me multiple times.
I consider myself a level headed person… But, I cannot even tell you how ridiculous it is to spend even $1 in this store. I have Never written a bad review about anything, but, if I can prevent One person from the unbelievable experience I would be in if you could actually talk to Anyone other than a computer… even if you could call to Make a purchase ( evidently that’s not even a priority, so they don’t answer at that number either..) for their oversight of the inspection of my seriously damaged bed,and sectional.. We spent over $4200 in the store. There’s no response to that claim of inspected upon shipping or the damage to my walls. I digress. Don’t Purchase Anything! Just, Don’t. Goto lazyboy. I had a very uncomfortable and unbelievable experience at this location. While finalizing my purchase, I was standing next to two very kind Hispanic woman whom were being assisted by the front desk lady named Era. As there was a slight language barrier and the customers were confused as to what was being told to them, Era did not have patience in assisting them instead she was being extremely rude and disrespectful. The ladies expressed and they would no longer like to work with her and asked if they may be helped by her manager and Era had told them “she has thousands of emails and phone calls everyday, so I’ll be the one helping you”. The ladies ended up walking out, and I would have to if my items had not been finalized. Eras actions she chose to display to these two ladies is beyond me. If Era does not have the patience to work through a language barrier, perhaps she should find employment outside of Salem where majority of the population is of Spanish speaking descent. I would encourage HR to handle Era and this matter promptly to ensure nothing like this happens again.
Do not go here. Bought a 1,600 bedroom set, they messed up our delivery date and we had to wait for another week for our bed and dresser (nightstands on back order) finally got the bed and it was damaged… took a month to even get someone to schedule a repair to be done on the bed. Nightstands became in stock, had a delivery date set up, took off work, no one showed no one called nothing, went to the store and there was nothing they could do. They made another delivery appt for today, they showed up but the delivery guys was very much in a rush, they set them in our room not even putting the legs on them which we paid for set up so that should have been done, upon them leaving I noticed a scuff on the corner of the new nightstand and what do ya know, a big chunk of paint out of my door trim in my brand new apartment. This place is a joke.
I understand their is a 3-6 month wait for furniture pretty much anywhere right now, but I ordered my furniture months ago and and was trying to call Ashley's to see if there was any update on when my furniture would get here. Nobody in this store can answer the phone. I have called several times a day at different times for the last week and they will not answer the phone. It's EXTREAMLY frustrating when you spend thousands of dollars on furniture and they can't even bother to pick up the phone... will not be doing business with this company ever again.
Almost 4 months now and I still have not received anything, I also do not receive any calls or communication with updates and when I try to call I can’t get thru to anyone , I have to drive to the store and go in to talk with someone. Every time I get a delivery date it’s a no show and then I have to try and contact someone.. this has happened 3 times now!!! Also found out the couch I bought was delivered to the store then put back on a truck and sent to Tacoma where their warehouse is but still nobody can give me real answers. Please communicate with customers that have been waiting for extended amounts of time.
I know I'm not the only one dealing with the horrible change that came with corporate taking over. To start off, they phone tree does not work. Also, the phone number on Google has not been updated. I bought this couch the week before labor day and was told there would be an extended wait time to receive the couch of 12 weeks. We figured although it is a long wait, we really like the couch, so we will wait. At the end of the 12 weeks, I called to get a status, was told it would be in until end of September, so again I called at the end of September, was then told not until end of October beginning of November. I just attempted to call Ashley's, getting transferred to the corporate customer service rep, who put me on hold for so long, I got automatically sent to this phone tree that doesn't lead you to an actual person or it sends me to Kelly's furniture. So I had to hang up, recall to FINALLY get ahold of someone in the actual store in town, to be told that my couch had not arrived and now I need to wait until the New Year. I'm not only upset, I am seriously shocked at this entire experience. I am canceling my order, and will never purchase from Ashley's again.
UPDATE….. Now being told February for my couch so I canceled my order. My sons bed is supposed to be delivered to the store the 18th of December and will be delivered by the 28th but no call to schedule that delivery yet. Was also told one week we were just waiting on the rails and that everything else was there and would be at the store on the 8th I called the 10th and was told they were waiting on the head board. I don’t think they even know and are just trying to say whatever to make you somewhat happy. Plenty of other places have stuff in stock for purchase and take home that day. Do some research and calling don’t go to Ashley’s!!! I’ve been waiting over 3 months for furniture that I’ve ordered. When I ordered I was told 12 weeks max. I was called and told I would have it the end of September beginning of October.. by mid October I called to see when I’d be getting a delivery date and they said oh it’s now middle of November and that they only had 1 piece. I’ve been trying to call them for over a week and no one answers the phone. I really would just like to cancel my order and get my money back.
I was told, I had nothing to worry about, sales lady "Maria" physically sees my sofa in the system and, it'll be here in a few weeks, right on time for delivery ...we'll after a # of calls, emails, no response from "Maria" I finally speak to someone, I'm told it's on back order, and I have to go in to store for a refund. I purchased this sofa not just because, I liked it, but because, I didn't have to wait 8-12 weeks. Customer service here is awful! Go somewhere else, save yourself a mini heart attack.
My wife and I spent several thousand dollars here 2 weeks ago, I must say, their customer service department is either closed, or they don't give 2 links about you once the transaction is complete. Call me back and fix the lemon you sold me
I just spent 20 minutes without a single employee acknowledgement. I'll pay more anywhere else that has a clue about customer service.

Rude service super high prices
I purchased a bed here two weeks ago. I was told that we were paying for a bed that DID NOT come in a box so that way we didn't have to wait 24-48 hrs after we unpackaged it. I was also told that they would set it up wherever I needed, they did not help. I was told the amount we were paying for delivery included the delivery guys to dispose of our old mattress. The delivery guys told me that wasn't included. So they left without helping me take it out of the box that it shouldn't have been in and left without the old mattress. So me being pregnant, I had to unpack it myself.. it's a queen. That wasn't easy. And now I have to figure out how to dispose of the old mattress. Either the delivery guys weren't doing their job or the guy who sold me the bed gave me the wrong information.

We were shopping for a bedroom set and decided to go into Ashley's furniture to look at what they had. They greeted us and we looked around and left to look at another furniture store, to see all of our options. A week later we came back another sales lady helped us, very nice and friendly we ended up making our mind on a bedroom set, unfortunately it was at closing time so we did leave again but we also had to measure to make sure the furniture fit in our room. We went back 2 days later decided to buy the bed, another sales lady helped us, all was fine until a sales man (did not get his name) started following us around with the sales lady chiming in on EVERYTHING and having personal conversations with the sales lady also...at one point he even told her "When you are done with them let's go I'll get you Dutch Brothers". Uhmmm okay...and he just kept chiming in on everything, to the price she was quoting us, we would ask her questions about the price and he would answer for her...eventually we got fed up with it and left...so close to making a good sale...but we just don't want to go through that again. We are still looking for a bedroom set...:(

Went to Ashley's Furniture looking for a leather sectional. Karim was immediately available to assist us and point us in the right direction for what we were looking for. He was very thorough in making sure we were getting all of the correct pieces so there would be no issues upon delivery. My family and I have been searching for about three weeks for the right piece and Ashley's had the best & highest quality selection by far.
I went into Ashley HomeStore on January 20th or so to look for a new dining table set and a living room set. We spoke to our sales person and he basically told us that the furniture would arrive within 12 weeks. We were ok with it since we were still remodeling the house. It was more than 12 weeks when we received our living room set and dining table. We did NOT receive all items together. I called the store to check on our items and they tell us different information. we came into agreements with the store to get the displayed chairs until our chairs arrived, and that agreement has not happened and it wont happen since the manager apparently changed her/his mind and they did not inform us and we never received an update until I gave the store a call. It has been over 6 months and we still don't have our chairs. Good service from the sales person; however I would not recommend this store. I personally would not shop at Ashley HomeStore in the future.
Most amazing furniture selection in town! I know because I shopped around first. Ryan was awesome! Attentive, sincere, honest, and really listened to my needs. He got me the best deal and quality in town! I will definitely be back!

I think this is going to be a good purchase. We bought a couch and a recliner. The person that helped us was friendly and professional. I thought the furniture was a bit expensive but I think that every time I buy something these days. Because of COVID, we are going to have to wait a couple of months until the furniture gets delivered.

I recommend this place. IT IS NOT A WALMART STORE. Went there for outdoor furniture. Great people there. Lots of nice stuff. Only drawback I can say about this place. If what you want is not there? After ordering/paying for it there is a wait of about six weeks. Not a problem for me since I'm replacing my furniture not needing it right now. Nice furniture, nice salesperson. A+
A strange layout of several stores but all connected. You can freely move between stores like it's all one big store but then there seems to be competition between sales people from the different areas. Not a pleasant experience. Plus some of the furniture is poor quality. It seems okay at first but wears out fast (and we don't even have rambunctious kids are anything).

Save your time and money and find a place you can get your furniture in less than 4 months. We ordered on January 6th and have yet to get our sectional. We understood the 8 week wait we were told about but every time we call it’s postponed for even longer. My mom also ordered a nightstand and has been waiting for 7 weeks. We are extremely frustrated about the wait on an over 3k sectional and we’ve gotten minimal customer service since we paid. If we could cancel without having to drop even more money we would. Also don’t expect an answer when you call the front desk, I have called morning, midday and evening and no one answers. Unfortunate experience.
Karim was amazing in assisting with our tempur-pedic buying experience. He took his time explaining each feature as we shared our needs and listened to our concerns. At the end of the day, Karim is the reason we will soon be new owners of a customized sleep system. I would recommend him to anyone seeking better sleep. So knowledgeable and so kind not just about selling - we had and excellent buying experience.

Worst place to purchase furniture from. I highly recommend you stay away from this place. I purchase a living room set and a dinning room set from sale person named Ryan. This happened back in December. He messed up on ordering my coffee table set not one time but two times. To this days I haven’t received them. How incompetent is that. I spoke with useless sales manager. And said they would be here last month. I got offered the floor set and obviously I declined. For all of you looking to purchase any furniture. STAY AWAY from this place. Reviews do talk for how unprofessional this people are.
We got a decent deal on a dresser for my son. Took 2 months longer to get delivered than initial promise, but all shipping is delayed at the moment so not necessarily a knock on them.
I scheduled an appt. on-line. As I walked in I looked around for someone to help me, but there didn't seem to be anyone working there. This is a HUGE store. As I continued to walk further in I saw an enclosed plastic structure with 2 or 3 people in it. I walked up and explained that I was early for my appt., told them who I was and asked who I should talk to. After speaking amongst themselves Marie introduced herself, stepped forward, and we began to discuss what I was looking for. Marie seemed to be very familiar with the furniture available, as well as the location of the items I was looking for. All-in-all it was a beneficial time expense and I ordered items to be delivered. No delivery date was specified, but an estimated time was 2-3 weeks. I did not finance, but was aware they did have financing available. They do NOT pick up old furniture, so I have to deal with that on my own. I would go back again. I'm not one who likes to wander, as I usually have what I want in mind before I shop. So I plan to call ahead to ask if Marie is available next time.

There's lots to love about all your options here, the largest Ahely store in the area! Something for everyone and every budget, from sofas to lighting. I love the options for a 5 year warranty to protect my investment, especially since we have kids and pets. Best deal around and they deliver! This location is tucked away right off Lancaster Dr in NE Salem, easy to access right of I-5 interchange.

Ashley (the saleswoman) assisted us with our recent purchase at Ashley's (the furniture store). We'd been in previously, probably a year earlier, and I was surprised that she remembered us, particularly since we hadn't purchased anything. Regardless, she was more than willing to assist us. We'd been to several other furniture stores that day but hadn't seen anything we liked. We explained what we were looking for and she pointed us in th right direction. She let us browse without hovering or smothering us, though she would reappear occasionally to see if we had any questions. It created a relaxed environment. I liked her style, there is nothing worse than cling sales people! We ended up buying 2 couches and a chair. We're waiting for delivery but everything has been great to this point. Great job "Ashley at Ashley's!"
I have always dreaded furniture shopping + seen it as a hassle but Ashley’s was a warm and inviting environment. Our sales person Matthew was not pushy and all and extremely knowledgeable on Ashley and Kelly products and was able to find me the perfect sectional and was patient with my pickiness. We were on a mission for a new couch. We went to several stores and were so disappointed with the service, or really lack of service, that we received. When we went to Mor, there were at least 6 employees and despite my requesting assistance, not one was willing to help me find what I needed. From the moment we stepped into Ashley, we were blown away by the attentiveness of the staff and incredible selection. We were immediately greeted and connected with our salesman, Karim. I don't know if Ashley's is fully aware of what a gem they have in this man, but I hope his supervisors see this so he is recognized for the incredible employee that he is. He was attentive, eager to help, and it was very apparent he cared that we get exactly what we were looking for. I was too indecisive to make a decision our first trip in, Karim checked into the options I had been interested in and was just as much of a pleasure to work with on our second trip in. I couldn't recommend Ashley's more with their huge selection and high quality, and if you do make it in, you will NOT regret asking if Karim is available to help.

Today I had the pleasure of working with Ashley in purchasing furniture at Ashley's. I had called before I arrived to see if they had a piece I found online. She stated they did not have that piece but similar items so I could see if the style and color worked. When I arrived at the store she remembered me and the piece I was interested in. She was pleasant, informative and easy to work with. She answered my questions and showed similar items. Ashley worked on ordering the furniture and all options and prices available. I would work with her again.
I bought a recliner sofa from the Salem store December 31 and today it’s 1 month later and I have absolutely no clue when it’s supposed to arrive. I feel tricked because it wasn’t until after I signed the contract stating if you return the furniture after 2 days you must pay a 20% restock fee. Wether they deliver it or not you must pay. After signing the contract I was told someone would call me in a couple days to set up delivery. Nothing... I’ve called at least 4 times and I get a new date every time. They actually called me once a couple weeks ago to inform me my sofa was coming in that night at midnight. They swore I would have it that week. Today is February 1st and they don’t even have the decency to call and update me. I totally regret ever going to Ashley furniture and I will never make this mistake again...

Have been wanting to get a new mattress and bed set for over 10 years and finally went into Ashley’s to look. I had been looking for a couple months online at Ashley furniture options, but it’s just a lot better in person. I was so happy they sold mattresses too so it was all in one trip. Robb was super helpful and answered all my questions, he let us look around and was there when we needed him. Decided on a great set and mattress to suit our needs. I was shocked I didn’t have to pay anything until after we received our furniture plus a month out, that is awesome! Will help us save more and be able to pay it off quicker. Not pleased with the customer service here. We ordered our dream couch in October and told it was backorder 8-10 weeks, putting us in December. Come December I called to check and was told it was now sometime in Jan. Called back in Jan for an exact date was was told Jan 15. Called Jan 16 and still no couch, she said it was now the 18th, possibly 20th. Called back today the 22nd and they now aren't sure when exactly it'll come in. Mind you not once did I receive a call from customer service about my couch that is now over a month later than I was told when purchasing. I was the one having to take initiative each time. The woman on the phone was passive aggressive in explaining the situation when we expressed our rightful annoyance on the situation. Was planning on getting TV stand and baby crib here, but will be taking our business elsewhere.
We had a fantastic experience. As soon as we walked in we were greated and helped. The product specialist that helped us, Necole Huerta, was great, knowledgeable, and patient. She helped us find exactly what we were looking for, and helped us every step along the way.
We needed to get new Living room furniture and so glad we decided to go to Ashley’s. Was immediately greeted by a sales manager Robb Canady who was very friendly and super knowledgeable about the store and the store’s products. We wondered around the store for a couple hours and made are final purchases for our new living room set. We couldn’t be happier with the over experience Great customer service. Shopping at Ashley Homestore with the help of our knowledgeable and hospitable salesperson Karim, was easy and fun. I ordered a 3 piece bedroom set online and received the night stand right away by mail. The other 2 dressers were to be sent to the Salem store and delivered to me. They sent me a delivery date 2 months out. I day before the delivery I called to confirm and they didn't know anything about it but said they had 1 of the dresser and would bring it out the following Tuesday. Today is Tuesday. They missed their deliver window so I called and they don't even have the dresser so its not getting delivered. They didn't even call me. This is the second time I have prepared for this delivery and not had it happen. They have no idea what they are doing over there.
Updated: DO NOT BUY THE EXTENDED WARRANTS! THEY ARE A RIP OFF AND COVER NOTHING YOU'LL NEED! Three years later, furniture is sad looking and falling apart. Low key, no fuss. They know the products, and are easy to work with. Tiffany even carried ottomans around to make sure my color selection matched. The only reason I couldn't rate 5 stars is, when setting up credit with them I needed 4 personal references. Who needs that many? So I paid in cash. Overall, great store, many different options for different price ranges.

Worst place to buy furniture ever! We special ordered furniture in June and waited like 3 months for it to arrive. When it arrived it had mismatched leather on one sofa an obvious error! I am beyond disappointed in my purchase and the people that work there! I bought a couch 5 months ago. Upon delivery it was broken. Delivery guys were very nice. They said just give customer service a call and they will get everything handled. I immediately called. It took a bit of time but someone eventually came out. He said we needed a new part for the reclining section. He said they would call me when the part came in. A couple months went by and I called to check in on the progress, I Left a voicemail...it was never returned. I did this two more times over months with no call backs ever. So after 5 months I ended up getting ahold of someone on the sales floor that got someone from customer service on the phone. She was nice. She said they basically had the part all along. We made an appointment for a couple weeks out for them to come fix it. The day it was supposed to be fixed they left a voicemail that they were cancelling the appointment. So now I am back to square one, I have left a voicemail...... RIDICULOUS!!

Ashley’s furniture has always been my first choice to buy my furniture. i’ve had multiple salesman help me out through out the years. this time i’ve had a total different experience, it was by the far the best visit i’ve had here. Maria Introduced her self professionally and offered to help us. i was looking to purchase a King size bed, and bunk beds for the kids and a living room set up. she asked all the right questions to help her where i needed to be. she listened, and answered all my questions. she made sure to show me all possible options i had. finally I ended finding what i was looking for. so much positive details to list, Maria ended up going above and beyond to make sure i was making the right decision with my purchase, i never felt rushed, or pushed to buy something from ashelys. At the end of the day my kids were happy and I was happy to have our new furniture. I will be coming back and working with Maria. thank you again.

I ordered mattresses for my spare room and for the grandkids bunk beds. Mind you, they weren’t very expensive, but they will not be used very often. The mattresses were not in stock so we agreed to wait 4-6 weeks. Nearly 6 weeks later, I get a call from a woman. She says my mattresses are in, but they were only open until 3 pm and not Sunday or Monday. . Ok. So, we have to Waite awhile because we are letter carriers, and are not off work before 3. We go in to get the mattresses, and somehow they have been sold. Seriously, sold. So they reorder them, and again we have to wait. We go to get them a couple days ago, but we are told that they are on their way, they have a truck, and an assigned driver, but they aren’t sure when they will be in. Today I talked to a salesman who tells me that my mattresses still aren’t in, and that there is no longer a driver assigned. But, not to worry, they are upgrading my order to different mattresses, and I can pick them up, they will be waiting for me. So I pull up to customer pick up. The very very nice guys back there can’t find my order. After a very long wait, they are able to find it. One piece at a time. When I got home I found that I had what I ordered. Not complaining about that. It’s what I paid for. However. I was told it would be upgraded. There was no communication with me to tell me differently. First, how do you sell someone’s mattresses that have been paid for? Second, if you have to reorder and then notify the customer their order is still not in, and you agree to upgrade, how do you decide not to do so and then not share that info with the customer? I found the staff at Ashley’s to be amazingly friendly and kind. But... I will most likely never shop there again. To call them disorganized and inefficient would be an understatement. The two stars are because I liked the staff.
I came in on Labor Day this year to change a bedroom out and create a home office for telework. I called ahead and met Ana over the phone. When I came in to the store, she made it a point to come find me and offered to assist me in actually designing the space. Ana spent a good amount of time with me and really worked to help me consider not only the big items like a couch, etc, but also the small details like rugs, lamps, even pillows. She found me the best pricing and deals to make it worth a big purchase. I’m pretty loyal and really appreciate (expect it, really) stellar customer service. Any time I need a piece of furniture for any room, I plan to see Ana at this Ashley store.
This is for saleslady Ashley Mathis of the Salem, Oregon store. She did a fantastic job getting resolution to a problem I had with some dining room chairs that were delivered, part of a set that included the table and a side cabinet. The chairs were of such poor finish quality that I knew it would not work to simply reorder the same chair. When I phoned I could not reach my original salesperson, but Ashley stepped right in to offer her services. She helped me find an alternative that would be compatible, which I am sure took no small effort., including sending me photos. If not for her, I don’t think this would have ever come to a satisfactory conclusion. And she was SO RIGHT about the Aldwin chairs, which were finally delivered today. Her advice was spot on. Customer service was great. The day I went to pick up my furniture was frustrating. It took the warehouse team an hour and a half to tell me they couldn’t find me in the system. I call Ashley’s to let them know hey the warehouse team is not finding me or my order. The me rep had a sour attitude and transferred me back to the automated system. I go into the store, everyone was pleasant. I find out my name was incorrectly entered into the system which is it why they couldn’t find my information. At that point I said fine as long as I get my furniture. Unfortunately when I got home I noticed the furniture was the wrong color and I was very specific about what I wanted and why. I’m dreading the process to return the furniture as well as waiting another 3 months to get the right color.

Good Customer Sevice. Met my sales rep by apt due to covid. 5th time purchasing items from Tyson Long. I like that I can tell him exactly what I'm looking for and he doesn't waste my time showing things that don't come close or try to up sell me. He gives me space and doesn't pressure sell me. He is knowledgeable on the products he sells and if he doesn't know something doesn't bs. He goes and asks his other team members (This time Ashley- who was pleasant and Courteous as well). I will have to wait a bit for items can't speak to timely delivery and set up yet but the sales guy was great. A company is only as good as its people and services it provides so, so far so good. I'd give five stars to the sales rep and change my overall score once items are delivered successfully.
Our specialist Ana is awesome! We came in really frustrated that we bought Ashely’s furniture from another vendor and still haven’t received it after ordering it 6 months ago. Ana was able to find the exact couch we wanted, helped us by being flexible with the cancelation policy, and made sure we got in a more reasonable timeframe. Kem and Necole were so great & helpful! I walked in the store not really sure of what i really needed. Necole was so helpful, she really knows how to bring your vision to light! And Kem was just a joy to be around, he really had me super excited about shopping, i guess he can tell that I am not really a big shopper. Haha. We purchased a hide-a-bed Sectional with a left Chaise. Well First off, when it was delivered they delivered the wrong couch, it was not a Hide-a-bed, which ended up taking 2-3 more weeks to get. When they came to deliver the correct Hide-a-bed sectional, they ended up damaging the flooring, and they didn't bother to inform us about it. We called the store and reported it, we spent about a week jumping through hoops trying to get to a manager. They said they'd pay the damage after we sent pictures, they took 2 more weeks to even send out the payment for the floor damage. Our couch ended up getting damaged, so we had to use our insurance for it. The insurance company required a invoice of the purchase, which we tried to send, but they did not receive. They attempted to contact Ashley's furniture for about a month, they never responded to the insurance company. Which we ended up having to dig through and resend the invoice to the company. In the end of this, it was a huge hassle, and not worth the time or money we spent.
Anna was really friendly and helpful she took the time to show me different beds until I found the one that I wanted. Anna also kept trying till I was approved .... but the best part was she just didn't sell me the bed and sent me on my way but she followed up with my delivery and even afterwards to make sure I like what I purchased very good customer service.

Best place ever not sure if i came in during a promotion but they dis not charge me after being up am night and coming in around 9am this hostel let me sleep for free getting up around 4pm made my way to the table say for awhile but i guess i missed breakfest my fault not theres all in all great place will go back

The first couple purchase went smoothly. I Loved the furniture we got. Our favorite sells lady is the biggest reason we stuck with Ashley but the last few times I bought an item they delivered them broken. This last time they couldn’t even put the furniture I bought together and they had to leave it on its side taking up space. Later that day we found out we will have to live with the broken furniture for another 10 days until someone can come out and fix their mistake. Also don’t order online and have it shipped to you it will come damaged as well. It’s way harder to get fixed if you order online versus buying in the store. Please, Inspect your furniture before sending it out. Not a Happy Customer!

Good customer service until you want to return something. They give you the run around and no one can help you. Once you finally get your return approved and they schedule you for pick up, pick up day comes and suddenly you aren’t on the schedule anymore. I’ve been trying to return a sectional since the end of April. I understand COVID has made staffing limited but this is getting ridiculous.

First off, quality of the couches look nice, but after you've had it in your home for awhile you will probably notice that 1: they aren't comfortable, and 2: the cushions slide out when you try to sit down on them to the point where you are literally sitting in a hole. I confirmed with multiple people that also have these couches and their's do the same thing. I tried to get someone out here to fix them or help me get a replacement couch and they guy came out, said customer service would get in touch, and then surprise, once again they never did. I tried to call them and leave them messages multiple times and no response. Keep in mind this is after I had multiple other incidents here such as, - Poor delivery set up (got delivered 10 days after the move in date I told them so I had no furniture for 10 days!)- Damage when finally getting the couch delivered after they missed the delivery window, not once but TWICE!- Having to call back and remind my salesman 4 times to issue my refund that he said I would be getting for the wrong tables I got- Countless other messages waiting for customer service to answer or call back like they said they would.Lastly, I tried to reach out to the owner about the terrible service I had been receiving, and nothing back.

Very nice store, largest one in Oregon I believe. It was very clean and employees were actively wiping down any touch surfaces and offering masks to customers. Staff was very helpful. Only thing when shopping at any Ashley's is make sure you have time to look around and make your purchase. The purchasing bit takes a while. It was over 20 minutes for items I paid cash for.

In three years of use by responsible adults, (and NO children) the sofa looks as though half the stuffing has been removed from the back cushions, same for the chair, and the top cushion on the ottoman has shifted to one side. The only positive note was the saleswoman, Cami. She was really nice, very professional, and genuinely seemed to want to help us find what we wanted. I'd give her 5 stars.

I will never purchase from the Outlet store again! Why? Well because I paid over $100 to have furniture delivered to my house and the desk I received has a huge scratch in the center of it. This desk cost a lot of money and I have yet to hear back from customer service on this issue. Horrible delivery and customer service. If you don&'t want to deal with getting the run around, I would recommend going some place else

We have been waiting to replace our couches so were pleasantly surprised when Ashley opened up in Corvallis. We checked out the show room and pretty quickly settled on what we wanted. The manager was very knowledgeable about the construction methods, manufacturing and material. The delivery guys Alex and Andrew were great and didn’t complain a bit about my awesome steep gravel driveway. We got a great deal.... so PLEASE BUY LOCAL. Even though Ashley is a chain, buy from the local store so the cash gets funneled local. They will match any price you see on the website. It’s great to have a show room any time we need anything.

THEIR WARRANTY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE ARE A JOKE. Purchased extended coverage on a couch based on the salesperson's lavish promises of "like new" repair or replacement in the event of a defect (our first mistake - DO NOT buy their warranty!!!). My daughter discovered one of two staples protruding from the inside of the couch, through the fabric, the hard way, by cutting her leg on it! We filed a warranty claim, only to have some hack "furniture technician" pull the staples out with a pair of pliers, further damaging the fabric, and then promptly leave with the empty assurance that someone would "be in touch". After trying for FOUR MONTHS to reach someone at the warranty company, I called Ashley HomeStore directly, only to speak to some flippant dingbat who dryly informed me that "the part has been ordered". What part? Based on my experience thus far I'm half expecting a patch kit to arrive in the mail with do-it-yourself instructions (although it's been ANOTHER MONTH now, and we haven't even received that!). Based on the initial quality of the couch itself and the complete lack of fulfillment of the warranty terms, I would NOT recommend ANYONE purchase their products, and certainly not their warranty. We are seriously considering filing a civil suit for breach of contract!
We purchased a 3 piece sectional from this store the week we moved to Oregon, Sept 27, 2019. The salesperson who helped us, Audrey, was fantastic and we felt we were making a great purchase at the time. When we received word that our sectional was ready to be delivered, the wedge piece was missing. We were told it had been &"forgotten&" and not put on the truck in California with our other two pieces. No big deal. Mistakes happen. When it was finally delivered a few weeks later, it did not sit flush like it was supposed to between the sofa and loveseat. In fact, it rocked back and forth with the front legs not resting on the floor. You couldn&'t sit on it without it rocking backwards, it was very unstable. The store sent a repairman out to our home the week prior to Thanksgiving. He opened the bottom of the wedge and worked on it but stated there was something inside the piece which needed to be fixed back in their shop. We were told Rebecca would call us and arrange for it to be picked up. We did not receive a call. My husband called the store several times to find out when the store was picking up the broken piece. No answers and no call backs. The store sent someone out to pick it up the following week, one week later than the originally promised date of Dec 2. We requested that instead of the brand new piece we bought which was broken to be fixed and brought back, to please order us a new wedge. We were told that is not how they do things and they would fix it and let us know when it&'s ready. Days later, they then proceeded to tell us that there is nothing wrong with it, after their own repairman said there was. My husband has had several more phone conversations and went down to the store again to try and get an answer as to what&'s going on with our furniture and we have not received any answers. Rebecca in customer service has been less than helpful and quite rude when speaking to my husband on the phone. The store manager will not return our phone calls. They still have our wedge and we still have zero answers. In the last week, springs in the back of the sofa have broken now as well. This is the very last place we would recommend making a purchase.
They got my contact info wrong and so never notified me about delivery. After I called them to enquire, we had to reschedule, but timeframe was so long that we went to warehouse to pick it up ourselves. That part went ok but then management had to think it over whether or not to refund the $90 delivery fee I had paid (they did). I purchased a sleeper sofa which was on display in store but couldn't open up to inspect. Turns out that the sleeper mattress is very thin, so will have to purchase more padding and hope the guests can sleep comfortably. Also, the cushions are only upholstered on top and so can't be flipped, a sort of planned obsolescence. Glad it's just a guestroom item which will get little use.
The delivery of our sofa today was perfect! Thank you Anthony and team especially for working with a challenging situation. There were zero complaints only an adjustment of plan and positive approach. Super professional and fast and even tested our power recliner sofa to make sure everything 100%. I highly recommend this team to ensure a perfect delivery even of an awkward sofa like we had today. Thank you again Anthony and team!!!
Their customer service after the sale is TERRIBLE! They delivered the wrong piece and it has taken a month so far for them to take it back.

Shopping for home furnishings can be a daunting task when considering the varieties and options available. However, shopping at Ashley Home Store was one of the most pleasant buying experiences I’ve had as our sales associate, John Burton, was not only knowledgeable of the products being sold, but went above and beyond to address our concerns and ensure that we were buying exactly what we wanted. We will be returning to work with John in the future when furnishing other rooms in our home.
The customer service at Ashely furniture is amazing. They went out of their way to help me after I had a negative experience at Mor furniture. If you want good quality furniture with excellent customer service, this is the store to shop at!

I won't put 5 stars as the order was put into the system incorrectly. Therefore, the wrong piece was delivered. Kudos (5 stars) to the delivery personnel, Anthony, Deric and Angel for their hard work and cautious delivery of the piece. I hope it's the same guys when I get the correct piece delivered! Pay close attention to your order BEFORE leaving the store and challenge that it is the correct piece that's been ordered. Attention to detail... isn't that why the salespeople get a commission? Unbelievable, I may not get the correct piece BEFORE the holidays *sigh*.
I have as almost all of my furniture in my house delivered by Ashley, this was the best delivery service I have ever Had! Anthony, Deric and Brandon were so funny and helpful and made it a very pleasant experience. John has been my sales man for he last two years and he is the most honest sales man you will ever meet. Anthony, Derek, and Angel delivered my sofa and loveseat with efficiency and professionalism. They were very friendly, quick, yet took great care to ensure that my door frame was not scratched while bringing them in even though there was little clearance.
Anthony Deric and Angel moved and set up our furniture quickly and efficiently. They were polite and professional. They called ahead to make sure we were home and worked with my wife on how to set up the furniture in a cordial manner.

Sure their furniture is nice but their customer service is extremely poor. This is my recent experience buying a sectional couch from them... My wife and I ordered it at the end of September and set a specific delivery date: October 25th. That was the day we were moving in to our new apartment in West Salem. The couch arrived from their warehouse in plenty of time, as our salesperson called to let us know that and confirm our wanted delivery date. Well guess what, it didn't arrive on Friday. We called and thankfully we got our delivery fee refunded at least, and the couch was eventually delivered the next Wednesday early afternoon. It gets better though. It was supposed to be a two piece sectional with the chaisse on the left side face. However when it arrived the chaisse was on the right side. We called our salesperson Anna back and she's claiming that's what we ordered. However we have the picture and the paperwork to prove we ordered it the opposite way of how they had the floor room model. They're still refusing to fix their mistake and now we're stuck with a couch that doesn't fit how it should in our apartment. My advice, Don't shop here. They don't care about you, all they care about is their sale.
So the good first. My sister had a house fire and lost all her furniture and the folks in California took excellent care of her. As for me, I bought furniture from them a week ago and I can't get ahold of anyone at their store or their main office who can find me in their system. I've been on hold for an 70+ min and they can't find me. They've looked me up by my name and address and phone number and there's nothing they can do. I did check and they did take out $2300 from my bank account, but more I have nothing to show for it. I'm really bummed. I expected to have my couches tomorrow. That was when delivery was supposed to be. I also expected to have a good experience with this store after what my sister had.

I don’t feel like this is a bad company. My customer service experience was just not the best. I walked into this place, my third store looking for a couch. I spent a lot of time and finally decided on one. Tyson was very attentive and the purchase experience was quick and easy enough. Then they hit me with a 4-6 week delivery. Fine. It is what it is. 3.5 weeks in I’m going to be out of town in a week and called for an update just to plan life around this delivery a little better. The lady that answered the phone was really nice but then informed me my couch had been sitting there for five days. I never got a call and we had just passed the only Saturday I would be available for a few weeks. There were two associates that were to be in touch with me. Tyson or Ashley. Neither bothered to call. I get it. People are busy, but to sit there for five days seemed a bit excessive to me. How much longer would it have sat there if I hadn’t called? I work 7-5pm during the week and happen to work this Saturday and then I’m out of town for the next two Saturday’s, of course they’re closed Sunday. So I now have to wait almost a month and a half to receive my product which I spent almost $2000 on. I called and spoke with Ashley and asked if there’s any way they can work with my schedule. She said she would check with the shipping manager and she asked for my email to get back to me. Which I thought was kind of strange. Maybe it’s easier to tell someone “no” over email rather than the phone. I work in customer service and I know when someone invests $2000 into something I go as above and beyond as I can to make sure they’re taken care of. Rather disappointed in the customer service. I won’t be back for another purchase. I’ve always bought at Mor and I think I will continue doing so.

I purchased a sectional from Ashleys last December. The sales associate John Burton was great! He was knowledgable, patient, and no pressure at all. He remained available for questions but didn't follow us around, just checked in with us from time to time. You can buy Ashley furniture about anywhere, what made the experience was the sales associate.

Please note that when I state in my review that I contacted them, it is not the Ashley's Homestore, it is their Warehouse. The previous reviews regarding trying to get ahold of someone in the actual homestore is 100% true! You cannot get ahold of them outside of going into the store. Not that they will have much information. Once they make the sale it seems like it becomes a handoff approach and it is never their fault. It's the warehouse or the computer system they use... Etc... We were on a time restraint to get a couch so we purchased a couch based on the sales person telling us that it is in-stock and would be delivered Nov 19th. I received a call from the Ashley Warehouse saying that they would need to reschedule my time as they do not have any of the couches in-stock. I told them that I specifically bought the couch because I was told that it was in-stock. They said the sales person was mistaken (seems like the usual blanket response). So I rescheduled my delivery for the 29th of Nov. I called the warehouse the next day making sure that the 29th was still going to work... They told me that it was pushed out to the 3rd of December (this was me calling them the day after we settled on the 29th and to emphasize, I am calling them they are not calling me to let me know of any rescheduling or adjustments to my delivery date). So I settle on December 3rd. I call the next day to Ashley's Warehouse, pushed out again.... This time I was asked if I want to schedule the delivery on the soonest day available because their delivery schedule is booked... (Felt like a joke question) So I asked for the soonest date... Dec 8th.... At this point I am not going to call again in fear of it being pushed out again and agsin....not even sure I am going to get any furniture from them... Feeling like theft at this point. Be transparent to your customers. We understand the delays that furniture stores have but you have to be pretty hard up to lie to your customers just to get compensation. Says a lot about the company in general if their sales associates need to take that route. Go to Kelly's furniture since they are newly separated from Ashleys. The gentlemen there were super nice and helpful. They understood our time limit and worked with us, they also directly called us on our delivery date to ensure everything was set up. We got our duel recliners exactly when they said we would. It was a breath of fresh air in comparison.

The only thing that gives this company the one star that I gave them is the fact that they have a pretty showroom. This is the second time I’ve ordered from them and both times it took 7+ weeks to have my items delivered. I was told at checkout that my latest (and last) order would take 3 weeks to be delivered, which seemed a little long to me but I didn’t complain. At the three week mark I received a call saying that it would be another 3 weeks and then a week after that an additional call pushing it out another 3 days. Why on earth does it take 7 weeks to get a hutch out of a warehouse and have it driven to my home? I was told by someone who used to work in the business that it’s because they try to cram as many things on to trucks as they can to minimize the amount of drivers they have to use to save them money. So if they can delay putting your items on a truck for an additional couple of weeks so they don’t have to pay two delivery guys minimum wage for the day of work it would take to get customers their items on time they jump at the opportunity. Fast forward to 7.5 weeks after I purchased the hutch and my delivery comes and the hutch is DAMAGED. They wanted me to keep it and they would send a repair person to come look at it. No thanks. I called to talk to a manager to complain and I couldn’t get ahold of anyone.....got an answering machine and no one has called me back. What an absolute joke. I will never purchase from this store again. When I finally get a call back I’m going to insist on getting a refund and not a new undamaged item because I don’t want to wait the seven weeks it will take to get it to me. Clearly they are not operating with the goal of excellent customer service.
delivery coordination is terrible. after waiting 5 weeks for my entire purchase to be delivered they only delivered the couch and loveseat. the salesman then had to come at 9pm and deliver end tables out of his personal truck... still missing the lamps? not sure where they are...unorganized and disappointed.
Ashley at Ashley is awesome, we purchased our sofas from her and she was able to fix a problem we were having the next day easy peasy. She is professional and kind and knows her stuff. I definitely would recommend seeing her for all your furniture needs. I tell everyone to see Ashley at Ashley.

I went to the store to check it out in person and loved it. Sales person helping me was efficient and polite. Delivery: The delivery team was called ahead to schedule, called when they were on their way, and were on time. They took care to pad my door jamb and entryway. They got the smaller of the two pieces in the living room no problem. They were unable to get the larger piece in. It fit through the door but couldn't make the hard right turn into the living room. They were apologetic and tried different angles and talked through different possibilities, but ultimately, it had to be returned. I was given a store credit to purchase a new piece. I couldn't find anything I liked AND that fit my space in the same price point, so ended up spending $600 more. 2nd Delivery: One of the two delivery drivers were from the first delivery. They were on time and again, careful. Everything was fine until, as I signed for my new couches, the delivery guy told me that when he got my original sectional back to the warehouse he was scolded because they "could've simply removed a couple screws to make it shorter and then gotten it into my house." I asked, "Why didn't you bring it back??" My experience and feelings changed after that. The salesperson was nice and frustrated for me. The manager I talked to tried to convince me that it's not protocol/they wouldn't have/they couldn't have removed screws to make it fit. I told him I wasn't buying it. Their "solution" was to re-order the same sectional for me and then refund me the difference of $600. Pretty confused by this solution since the manager was very sure the sectional couldn't have been taken apart. Done with Ashley Furniture. Update: We bought two couches a little over four months ago and the material is coming apart. Everywhere our children have been sitting is full of small holes. The "solution" offered was to replace the fabric with the same fabric. I'm not interested in having our couches reupholstered every four months, or until the warranty runs out. We have called, shown up in person, emailed, called some more. We cannot get a call back from the Store Manager. I've tried to reach the owner, Jeff Kelly, and told "He has no voicemail. He has no email. You just have to keep calling." This is turning into the worst customer service experience we've ever had.
We LOVE Ashley HomeStore (Kelly's Furniture & Appliances) in Salem, OR!! Every time we stop in to browse or buy something new for our home we are treated with the highest possible care and respect by every employee ..every time! The delivery drivers are also all top-notch, hard working guys that deliver personality with a smile while they carefully handle your purchased item along with exercising great care for your home/belongings while on site. In about a month were replacing our oven and range hood too ..to include the kitchen to the rooms already partly furnished at Ashley's (livingroom, family room, laundry and, 2 of 4 bedrooms so far).

Very poor communication with salesperson. I went in seeking to spend $3k–$4k on a custom chair and whatever information Bobette promised to get for me (at each contact) failed to happen. She was going to have the Ekornes regional person contact me for further information, and that never happened either. I sought her out again (& again) by phone only to find she had lost my email address & phone number. I gave it to her again (because contact by phone was difficult for us to establish). Yet I NEVER received even one email from her. Phone contact was difficult due to her schedule. And, over two months of seeking info, she only contacted me once by phone on her own - all other contact I initiated. How hard is it to send info on options and capabilities of their product via an email?!?! Except for visiting the showroom for hands on examination of the chairs themselves (where the info came from the actual chairs in store), all info I know about the furniture is from others & past experience. It's as if she didn't want such a “sure thing” sale of a VERY high end $3k–$4k chair. I've seen more initiative from an office supply salespeople on a $10.00 purchase. While I still desire to purchase a chair, I now must arrange to do this through a store in Portland or Eugene – if there's someone there who can simply answer my questions about the product, look up the answers, or put me in touch with someone who knows. Sorry Ashley HomeStore in Salem – a thoroughly disappointing experience.
They did not have anything under control, I was waiting on my couch which I paid for every week they would tell me they would deliver next week, then it was the week after and so on, when I finally had enough they told me I wasn't even in the system, they had me down as already delivered when I never received them, they made me feel like I was annoying for calling but if I hadn't I would've never got my couch that I payed over $1000 for.
Great store great savings great selection great customer service!!! But I have to say their shipping and delivery needs some fine tuning. We were told that it would be 2 weeks for furniture to get here soon two weeks go by. We call asking about the furniture and was told one came the other was backordered and it would be two weeks. One week later we.get a. Call that they are going to deliver both recliners. Whn they came they only had the the one. Where's the other oneThey call store and find out it should come in next week we'll see

This was my first time at Ashley HomeStore. Ashley was our customer representative. She worked closely with us to get what we we're interested in. I had several online options that were less expensive. She worked with us to get a reasonable pricing; plus I valued having a store in town rather than online. We received free installation and the young men that came in and did it were thorough, quick, and very respectful! Thank you Ashley's & thank you, Ashley!

Took almost 6 weeks after I ordered the sofa to get here, the salesman never called with any updates. I sent 3 emails with with no response. I finally called to ask for a refund and all of a sudden my sofa is on the way.The one bright spot was the delivery. Austin and Anthony were great professional and personable. Give them a raise!

I can not remember the names of the two men who came to deliver my chair, ottoman, and table and chairs, but they were great. They knew just what they were going to do, worked together as a team and in no time at all the furniture was in the house. That is no easy trick, front door takes a sharp right turn...they still have a couch to deliver so they also scoped out how to do that so they would be ready for next delivery.. thanks for the great service. jeriann littrell

I am giving them 5 stars because the delivery guys were awesome. They were kind and courteous and knew what they were doing. They were careful moving things in and didn't even mind us watching them work. They were able to answer our questions and made sure the bed was a good height for my mom to get into it. And when there was discrepancies in their paper work and what we said they were quick to call and correct things. Thank you Cortez and Anthony for making the new bed delivery easy.

Everyone was attentive and courteous. Left us alone to try out different mattresses, but checked in with us now and again to be sure we had all we needed. The purchase was seemless, and delivery hassle free and on my schedule.

Purchased a few thousand dollars of furniture which started to squeak and stitching started to unravel in the leather couch. I tried calling and coming in on more than one occasion. So far nothing has been done to help remedy this problem.
We have a couch from here and it was pretty overpriced for the quality we ended up getting.
We’ve been here several times and always look for John to help he has always been incredibly helpful and is always happy to help with a sense of humor he makes it an enjoyable experience to part with our money 😂 we will forever be customers at this store thank you all for the care given to your customers 👊

Cortez and Jose are absolute legends! They gave a courtesy call 5 mins before arriving, arrived on time, we polite, friendly not to mention strong and agile enough to navigate up and around my steps to deliver my new sofas! Full of laughs and smiles, took great pleasure in their work and made the whole delivery process flawless. A true credit to Ashley Furniture, if the owner reads this then make sure you look after these 2 guys. At the bare minimum give them a raise and some extra days vacation!!!!

Went in to look at their sectionals and they had quite the variety. Was greeted as soon as we walked in by a very nice gentleman. We found the sectional that we were looking for, the gentleman explained the financing options and customization options that they have and even discussed their protection plans. Didn't feel pushed at all. It was a very nice experience. We didn't end up buying today but we will soon now that we know about their financing options.

We went chair shopping recently for a Power Lift recliner that will be needed after heart surgery. We started at Ashley and visited EVERY furniture store in Salem and did Online shopping as well. We returned to Ashley as they had a beautiful Flexsteel leather chair on the floor. This is the chair we wanted. It was a floor model only and we would have to order it. Unfortunately it would not arrive in time for my surgery. Necole Huerta went to bat for us talking with management. Tom went to bat for us and was able to come up with a price that we could accept and an awesome deal was made. I'm sitting in my lovely, comfortable smart looking chair and am so happy with Ashley Furniture. Surgery is in 2 weeks and I am ready to go. Thank you Necole and Tom and Ashley Furniture

We walked in to Ashley Homestore and thought we were going to get a pushy salesman but we were wrong, John Burton helped us out and was very friendly. Made us feel very comfortable and we got the bedroom set we wanted, highly recommended and will come back and buy from him again.

Londa is the Salesperson that I worked with. I told her up front what I was looking for. Basically, stuff for my Papa; who suffers from lots of physical ailments. She was great at listening to me and helping me find the items needed for my Papa to move into my house, so I may help take care of him. Well, we logged in a few items & I wanted to continue to shop around at other stores to be sure there wasn’t something else. I ended coming back to ASHLEY FURNITURE & picked out some more items. Each time , I added more to my “yes” list. I had Londa doing lapse back & forth in the show rooms, because my items extended not only for Papa’s room, but also the kitchen & Den! Londa is great to work with, but we had to run my credit card a few times as she forgot to charge me for something. Truthfully, though, that didn’t bother me because all of the time I occupied from her as I ended up buying more than just the adjustable bed.

Bought a couch that we needed a specific date. The salesman assured it us it would be there in time. We needed the couch 18 days after we purchased it, and we still haven’t received it. Going on three weeks now still waiting for it to arrive. We wouldn’t have purchased the couch if we knew that it would not arrive in time. Wish the sales staff would have let us know there would be a possibility of it not arriving by the desired date

My family and I went into the store on Saturday to look at a new sectional. We were in there for around 20 min and was never greeted, talked to by an associate or even said hi too. Not happy with the service and will be buying online seems how the prices are cheaper for the sectional we were looking at. Won't buy from the store anymore.
Although I waited quite a while for the bed, I am loving my new bedroom suite. Raelyn...farmhouse/shabby chic. My room looks amazing. There are only 4 pieces in my home that aren't Ashley Furniture . My sales lady is simply the best....Bobette.

While they do have a huge selection at ok prices, I don't know if I would want to spend my money here. within seconds I was visited by a very pushy sales person who was "assessing" my ability to spend money with the questions he was asking. No I dont want to tell you where I work or give you other personal information. Let your customers enjoy the shopping experience without stalking them. I wont be back.
We are so pleased with Ashley Furniture in Salem, OR. Thomas has taken extra special care in helping us furnish our new home. He called us with shipping updates throughout the process, followed up with us, and is such a friendly guy. This morning, our furniture arrived on time via delivery. Cortez and Daniel did an outstanding job in getting our pieces set up for us. Ashley Furniture, keep up the good work and thank you for having employees who are pleasant and seem to enjoy their jobs. I will not hesitate to shop here again in the future and share my positive experience with family and friends. Update: they delivered an incomplete order with a missing drawer and missing wall art and forgot to order mattresses. I visited the store and they offered to fix the mess up. I am glad they made it right but I probably won’t shop here any more. They also gouged my wall in my brand new house. They owned up to it, which I appreciate, but now I have to get that fixed on my dime. Second update: I have now changed my review to a 1 star. I originally gave this company 5 stars. After my first update, I changed it to 3 stars. The bed delivery finally made it this week after having been pushed back several times but hardware was missing so the slats are not stable where the mattress sits. The drawers to another bed that originally were (1 missing, 1 damaged) arrived via UPS yesterday. One drawer is damaged and there are no handles. Ashley furniture has nice-looking furniture and nice associates. However, this does not make up for poor logistics and miscommunication. Do not shop here unless you want a chronic headache. Third update: I have now called the store twice after last delivery. Once to explain that items are still missing and a drawer is still damaged. Today I called to find out the status on the latest issue. I was told last week that she would call me back “tomorrow” after speaking to her store manager. That was exactly a week ago. I have written to corporate asking for assistance after leaving a voicemail with the Salem store. What is so difficult about following up? I am not asking for a discount or a gift certificate. I ONLY WANT THE ITEMS THAT I PAID FOR, having spent close to $8,000 in this store. I reiterate to anyone looking to purchase furniture to please beware. You might luck out and have no issues or you might end up like me with a situation that continues to unnecessarily drag on. If I could change my rating to a zero, I would. ***2 hours later- received a call from the store. They said that missing hardware was ordered and should arrive next week and they are “ordering a new underbed” to fix the twin bed issue. She acknowledged that nobody called me back last week like they said they would.

Ashley, Salem, quiet with shoppers testing potential furniture fits for their home. Hubby and I received a warm greeting by John, offering to help us find the perfect overstuffed chair or leave us to peruse. When 'The Chair' revealed itself.. We negotiated w John for a comfortably workable deal while sitting on cozy furniture. Not a pressure sale!! How nice! Ended up loading the floor model into our car and brought it home. After 3 months looking, I'm happy to say Ashley Furniture has met the challenge a second time for us.

When my wife and I came through the door we were impressed by the selection of furniture and the prices. However, the customer service could have been better. Once we explained what we were looking for, the rep just, gave us the "alright let me know if you need anything" and left us to wander around aimlessly, which, I don't care too much but some guidance would have been great. Eventually we found a set that was incredibly nice and at a decent rate. Alright, so we want to know more about the set, what it takes to purchase, payment plans, shipping, etc. So we go back to the entrance to ask for a rep for questions about a specific set.We approach the fountain surrounded by a gaggle of reps. "Hey there, we are interested in a set and had some questions" -Me "okay, is there anyone helping you?" -Rep "...No" -Me Now here is where things get awkward. The man I was talking to then looks at another rep and just, stares at each other, my guess is to determine which one of these two would have to help us.This irritated me.They might as well had rock, paper, scissored to come to a conclusion.I don't know if it was because I was wearing my rubber work boots or if I had a tattoo on my forehead that I didn't know about that says, "treat me like I'm an inconvenience" Either way it appeared none of them wanted to sell me furniture, maybe they're not on commission? I don't know. So we get Londa out of the what felt like an eternity of an awkward moment. Londa was a nice lady. Lets leave it at that. You can tell she is new since the card she gave me has a former employees name and hers scribbled on instead. Also by the fact that she just didn't really have to much of a grasp on any info on the furniture. Our big question was if we bought it, when would we get it?3-5 WEEKS. What? Why would I pay for something that would not be in my possession for more than 3 weeks?But wait, Londa tells us she will check on how long it will take to get and I give her number.I bet you can guess what never happened.... I payed double for industrial waste materials covered over toxic building supplies which is very uncomfortable after you wear down the padding in a month or so.
Was impressed with their customer service and wide selection, the sales person (Ashley Mathis) helped us find the furniture we wanted and find the best price/discounts. My experience with the sales staff gets 5 stars. The trouble came at delivery time, they were a no show. I donated my 2 couches and dinning room set the day before to make room. I called the store to inquire about my delivery and they told it was on a back order for about 8 weeks. Their communication with customers once the sale is made gets 1 star.

The quality of the furniture is not an issue. But I have been trying to resolve an issue related to an item that was incorrectly cancelled for months, and an issue related to a store credit for months. I asked that the issue be escalated and still no call back. I am surprised at the lack of responsiveness, competency, and customer care. My confidence in the store to provide customer service is completely shot. People make mistakes, I get that. But when you are made aware of the mistake, it should be handled quickly and your customer provided compensation when appropriate. Your system allowed the mistake to happen, this shouldn't be ignored because it will happen again. Wake up Ashley HomeStore - maybe some of your customers are happy to accept this type of service but this one is not.
