Went in to buy a lamp, they refused to sell it to me because it was the only one that they had. I will never go back

Loading crew and delivery crew had problem with furniture being broken and missing pieces from furniture which consisted of a second trip and now we have to wait to sleep on our new bed frame because they didn’t bring the slabs for the bed. They also sent me the slabs to my house but never sent me the screws now I have missing screws they didn’t send and I still can’t sleep in my bad because it’s not safe they sure want a sale and make commission but that doesn’t help you in customer service they only want to get a quick dollar and now my wife is not liking this service at all and neither am I they don’t know how to do anything not even sell a product In good condition one of my dresser still doesn’t arrive and it’s been over over 3 weeks and we still haven’t been able to sleep in the need bedroom set and to return it is even worse the won’t even give you the whole credit back they don’t even give you anything your stuck with the purchase so be careful when buying anything from the store mostly cause when they say it’s in the wear house the mean somewhere outside the state hopefully my dresser gets here in good condition and with all the parts to get it up. Horrible experience. I’ve been sleeping in a small bed. No accountability no communication and there never there Nelson who sold everything to us was hard to get a hold, we ended up getting all the pieces sent to us in different shipments.

Happy with the service we received at Ashley’s today. Thanks to Luis for listening to our needs and working with us to find the right price and financing. What I appreciated most was that he gave us space to look around, while still checking in when needed.

Luis was very helpful and friendly. We did not feel pressured to purchase. He explained everything with details. Great customer service.

I am writing this review to share our extremely disappointing experience with Ashley Furniture in Salem, Oregon. My pregnant wife and I ordered a sofa, dining table, and bed, totaling around $6,500. At the time of purchase, the salesperson Kylie promised that everything would be delivered within three weeks, which we agreed to. Nearly four weeks later, delivery finally started but it was incomplete and chaotic. • The bed arrived without the required hardware • The dining chairs arrived without the table • The whole sectional sofa was missing We immediately contacted customer service, especially regarding the bed hardware. We were told it would arrive in 7–10 days. We waited over two weeks, during which time my nine-month-pregnant wife had to sleep on the floor because the bed could not be assembled. When the hardware finally arrived, it was the wrong part. The dining table took over five weeks, and the missing sofa component arrived after six weeks despite us being very clear that we wanted everything delivered together, not in pieces over weeks. What made this even worse was the lack of communication and accountability. At some point, Ashley representatives stopped returning my wife’s calls, even though we still did not have a functional bed. As of today, we are still missing correct bed hardware, and no one can give us a clear timeline. When we went back to the store to speak with the manager, Nicole, she was unhelpful and dismissive. She told us that if we returned the items, we would be charged a 20% restocking fee, even though none of these issues were our fault. We paid in full, expecting complete and timely delivery, not weeks of stress and broken promises. We missed workdays waiting at home for deliveries that either didn’t arrive or arrived incomplete. The emotional and physical stress this caused especially during the final weeks of pregnancy is unacceptable. This experience was unprofessional, poorly managed, and deeply frustrating. For a company of this size, the lack of care, follow-through, and basic customer service is shocking. I hope others see this review and are fully aware of what they may experience before choosing to shop here. Thank you!

We went in looking to check out the bed options. George helped us my giving us more information about each kind of bed then we thought we new. He demonstrated what each one could do and how it would be more comfortable to sleep on. We felt like he cared about helping us make the best decision for us. He didn't push us to buy one bed over the other. He wanted to make sure we had given us all the information to make an informed decision.

I entered the Ashley Furniture Home store just looking to peruse and let my eyes wander the selection. I was warmly greeted by Margo who was a delight to speak with. She had asked what I was looking for, I had some idea but nothing concrete. Based of my vague ideas she directed me to some of the stores fine selection of loveseats, we sat and talked. Slowly but surely my ideas became more concrete as this process went on for a little while. Margo, of course was pleasant and attentive all the while. Eventually settling on one of their Loveseats. I decided against a purchase the day of but would happily request Margo again in the future for my potential purchases.

Can never get a hold of anyone in customer service. I went in and scheduled a delivery for the 17 and when I recieved the message confirmation it said delivery was scheduled For the 11th. I am out of town during that send have been trying to get a hold of someone to reschedule . Nothing! No answer no agent available so I guess my furniture will be delivered when I’m not there so annoying

Everything in this store that is a floor model is marked down... problem is its STILL cheaper to buy it used online. Next issue? 250$ shipping from store to your house not even 10 minutes away. Online furniture stores charge 200$ nationwide shipping.. Its cheaper to get a brand new product and have it shipped across the country... then to walk into the store, buy a marked down used floor model, and have it shipped down the street a few miles to your house.. Ashley has great furniture, just buy it online and save yourself a few hundred to thousands of dollars

The sales person who met us at the front door was horrible. He said he had the exact thing we were looking for but then zigzag us hurriedly throughout the entire store, back and forth, and had nothing. Very awkward. Very unprofessional. Then as soon as he felt he hadn't met our need, he was just almost rude in no longer engaging or caring to help. We then went to Lazy Boy and had a great experience and purchased a sofa/chair. Much better there at Lazy Boy. We will never go to Ashley furniture again.

my husband and i were looking at furniture for our new house and have very specific taste and as soon as we walked in George was extremely helpful and friendly giving great insights and was very knowledgeable about the pieces in the store and what inventory he had …..very fun and easy experience. if you go in this store is not only huge but George will hook you up for sure and if it’s not in the store he will find it on their website for you and recommend items his motto was “ if you can’t find anything in this giant store …. there’s something wrong” this store is their franchise store and it’s the biggest in Oregon

Our representative, Eddie Mesa, was amazing. Eddie made sure to give us space to look for what we wanted, gave fantastic suggestions when we were struggling to make a decision, and never once made it feel like he was "pushing" for the sale. Eddie made the process simple and easy and gave very clear information about everything from protection to delivery and return/exchanges. Eddie was very personable and enjoyed laughing with us making out a great experience.

Unimpressed with the customer service we have received. They set up a delivery time, texted saying they were 15 minutes out and then nothing. Finally we call the store and they said all the pieces didn’t get delivered so they aren’t coming. Nobody called to let us know, we would have wasted our full day waiting for furniture that was not coming. The person at the store also tried to blame us saying they probably came or tried to call you or left a message with someone in the house. All is not true, we actually tried to call the delivery driver back and got no answer either.

Final Review (9/21): This has been drastically updated from the last review that had multiple updates. I'm going to do my best to be as fair as possible. The sales process: It's sales. Be informed and know what you're buying. Ask a lot of questions and don't leave anything "open to interpretation." Not going to lie, we had A LOT of issues. From receiving only half our order and not receiving the right color during the first delivery, to an insanely late/up in the air second delivery. It seems the sales team will only answer and return calls during the sales process but don't expect return calls after the sale has taken place - again, my experience. Like the first delivery, I still feel very sorry for the delivery team. They are very nice and have to take the blunt of all the mistakes. Cameron was very nice and did his best to correct bad situations. Dwayne, was very apologetic as well. I appreciate the care and length they went to make things as good as possible. For the record, I am one of those people that give good reviews when they are warranted. I don't write just negative reviews. Honestly, I can't say our experience at Ashley Furniture in Salem was a very good experience overall. The entire process really took a toll on us and was very draining. It's important to end this review by stating that Nicole, the Sales Manager, did do her best to correct everything and make things as right as possible. Hopefully, we don't have purchase furniture for a good while, lol.

We really appreciated George’s knowledge, friendliness, and expert opinions; and the time he took showing us mattresses. He was also patient with my financial problems. George is a great asset to your store. I would definitely recommend him and return for future purchases. Thank you George. Update still have haven’t received my items but I do finally have a delivery date for 10/4 but only for the bed. I feel that customer service has completely changed now that I’ve already purchased. Customer service has not been helpful nor friendly, actually everyone I’m spoken to concerning my order has been a bit rude and I understand there are conditions and so forth but know one should be rude and matter of fact rude. Basically I was told “well that’s what you sign for” I feel as if customer service didn’t even care about what my concerns were. I will not ever purchase anything from this Ashley furniture again. They only care about you until you pay them then it’s all “that’s what you signed for “ with only rudeness.

George Arauz helped us find the right mattress! It was so helpful and didn’t get pushy with the more expensive stuff! Made sure we were completely comfortable with our choice and thorough with making sure we know what we’re getting. So excited to sleep on our new tempur pedic!

We went shopping for furniture and had an amazing sale man LUIS FLORES. He was patient and knowledgeable on all the products we looked at. It was a great experience.

**Well unfortunately editing my review...Our furniture got delivered and assembled as paid for. They pre-assemble some pieces to attempt to make it quicker. Well apparently putting our bed together was to hard. I watched for part of it and saw they were struggling. I had someone stop by our house and then when i went back it was quickly done and mattress back on. Went to bed that night and you guessed it huge cracking noise. They decided to not put the middle support in (if it doesn't fit right just don't do it???). I called the sales rep he gave me the number to who they contract with i reached out emailed pictures did their google doc with same info and pictures (per their process) week later get a call saying they will get back to me with scheduling and that was that. Emailed and called again reached out to sales person Nelson for help too and nothing...Finally broke down and fixed it our selves last night and come to find out they decided not to put in another brace too. So we had to cut to size two braces and reinforce with brackets (given we don't have the original pieces). Super annoyed and feel so played, liked the store experience and just wished they followed through felt like they took our money and ran. No follow through or accountability. Will probably complain with BBB, the others pieces where fine we just had to go back through and re-tighten everything. Original post: Eddie and Nelson helped us out on a busy holiday weekend. We bought a lot of furniture pieces and took about three trips to make sure what we ordered fit our spaces. They both are so professional not pushy and let us take our time, answered questions when needed without hovering. Best experience by far furniture shopping. Excellent customer service!

Quinton went above and beyond to help us today. We went in with something quite specific in mind. He showed us everything that fit that description and a few other things. He never made us feel pressured and we ended up buying one of the “few others” he showed us. We had a much more pleasant experience with Quinton at Ashley’s than the other half dozen stores we went to prior.

We had an experience with the salesman that I would call offensive. If they call you to set up a time to have your furniture delivered, you better pick up, otherwise it’s nearly impossible to reach them by phone.

Quinton did a great job showing us everything... He was very happy to help us find the couch that was right for us after we checked out every couch in the store......

Originally Great experience with Mini. She was quick, kind and a pleasure to work with. Update 9/1/2025: When I brought from her she promised someone would remove my old couch for free. Now they are lying and refuse to return my call. If I cancel they take 20% so I will make sure to tell all my friends not to shop there as they lie just to make money. Another update 9/7: the sent me the wrong color couch and offered to send me the correct color which would not be delivered until mid October however, they stated that they needed this couch that I just got back immediately which would leave me no furniture until mid October. Even the delivery drivers reported that they would never buy from their own company. This place is a disaster and I will be filing a complaint with their corporate office immediately. I will never shop there ever again and will never recommend this store to anyone.

I wish I never went here. Placed two orders. The first order came but not everything was delivered. No one ever mentioned anything to me until the delivery guys came and let me know. So they told me to wait another week. Second order was supposed to be delivered today. Canceled all my plans (work and other stuff) to wait for them to deliver it . For some reason it got canceled and no one ever told me. Also, the item I was supposed to get today was going to be used at a family gathering I had planned out this weekend. This is beyond unprofessional, I would definitely not order anything at this store ever again.

These people don’t know how to customer service and loose customers data. I purchased my couch just over a year ago and between them and Ashley’s corporate office all the information of my purchase is just gone. It also made a huge difference that he spoke Spanish — I tend to mix English and Spanish, and he totally got me. Overall, he’s just a great person with excellent customer service. Bought a sectional, was assured by the salesman’s that if their were any issues with the layout after delivered I could swap out pieces. They forgot to mention I only had 48hours from delivery. It was printed in the bottom of the receipt in the fine print but not mentioned at all. Paid a lot for a sectional that needs to be switched from right facing to left but now I can’t. What a waste of time and money.

Representatives like Luis give their company a good name. I will definitely go back to Ashley's for furniture. I'm not sure if all salespeople there are like Luis, but he gave a good representation. I just want to say, Before coming into Ashley's we were at a different furniture store where the salesperson was so pushy , pressuring us to get the furniture. It was uncomfortable. We went to Ashley to buy a new couch and loveseat and possibly a new mattress and frame. We were greated by George and we told him what we were looking for. George was very knowledgeable about the furniture and spent the time to explain the different fabric types and the way they were built. We found the perfect couch and the prices were very competitive. We looked at mattresses and were able to find what we wanted within our budget. We ended up with a Tempurpedic mattress and adjustable bed frame. George again knew about all the products they sold and gave us a couple different options for our budget. We have had the bed now for over a month and it’s a game changer for sleep. The furniture is built well and we are very happy with the service and our purchase. We also spoke with Doug who is the manager. He checked in and made sure we had all our questions answered before doing all of the paperwork for the purchase. We will definitely be back to buy whatever else we need in the future.

I couldn't have had a better experience dealing with the Ashley store in Salem, Or on Hagers Grove. Doug, the manager, went well beyond my expectations when I needed some help with furniture. He was a subject matter expert and stayed on the line for some time walking through the solution. It's rare you get that level of assistance these days. To add to that, I made another call and talked with Jessica with a question and the interaction was completely positive. She was determined to address the question and provided a result. I ordered a furniture set from this store and waited more than a month for the delivery that I paid hundreds for. Before delivery I received confirmation that all items would be delivered, but guess what? Delivery people showed up and told me one of the items in the set is on back order. No information from the store, nothing in writing, no expected delivery date. Nothing. I used the global customer service to get info, which then insisted that the only way to resolve the issue is with the store. I have called the store over 5 times, left voicemail, and emailed them, all with absolutely no response. To make matters worse, my online account shows my missing item status as delivered, which is incorrect. The furniture itself is not bad for the price, hence the two stars instead of one, but I honestly can not fathom going through this process again. If you purchase from this store you simply risk not getting your furniture and being forced to purchase half a set. You have been warned.

Bought a sofa sleeper and in less than 6 months the mattress got moldy. I contacted them in January 2025, because I purchased insurance and the guarantee was still current is April 20 and still waiting for the new mattress. They tried to claim that we lived in Oregon and the weather caused the mold. Went in the store and they weren't very nice or helpful they refused to replace the entire sofa sleeper and was told that the furniture changed owner which it should matter because the store still has the same name and they were able to look up my information on the computer. I wish I had done my purchase at Morr furniture instead. Will never purchase from them again for sure. Bad products and worse customer service.

I stopped in the other day and I was extremely pleased with the service I received from George!! He was very professional and answered all my questions that I had. He didn't try to just sell me something, he genuinely took the time to figure out what I needed.

BEWARE!!! I broke a headboards leg, find it’s made from glued together paper! Not even pressboard but actual paper. This is part of a whole bedroom suite, all matching. It was expensive! I called Ashley’s customer service number, asked if I could buy a replacement leg? “we don’t sell parts.” Ok, how much for the headboard? “It’s discontinued.” Found out the queen is discontinued, but they still sell the king. Both use the same size leg, so they could have sold me a replacement leg, but whatever. I then went to their store in Salem, and found the exact same queen headboard in the showroom on sale as a discontinued model, but they wouldn’t sell just the headboard, I would have had to buy the whole bed. The salesperson even said they could swap another headboard onto that bed frame, that was not discontinued, but his manager said “no, all or nothing.” It wouldn’t have hurt them at all, and would have been a huge help to me, their client and now a former customer. Ashley furniture is the most poorly made garbage I’ve ever bought, but to make it worse, the policy to make you buy a whole new bed and frame is so greedy. Stay away!

We had a great experience at Ashley picking out furniture for our new house. We needed a little of everything and Nelson helped us every step of the way! He was very patient, professional, and so helpful showing us all of our options and offering his opinions and guidance. Afterwards though it was very difficult getting updates on our order. There was no communication whatsoever, and no one answers the phone or returns voicemails. We had to go into the store to get answers. That was a bit frustrating but we ended up getting our furniture delivered a couple weeks sooner than anticipated. They definitely need to improve communication with customers. The salesman literally told me not to use the "customer service" option when calling, because they don't answer, and to get routed to the sales floor instead. Why even have a customer service dept if they don't provide customer service?

My wife and I ordered a recliner and rug on 1/25/2025. George Arauz was the Sales Associate who helped us. We were quoted 3-4 weeks for the recliner and 6-7 weeks for the rug. 9 weeks later here we are with no recliner or rug. George now tells us that the recliner is discontinued and the rug is on backorder till May. When I cancel the orders due to the unacceptable time frame (and for a discontinued item), he says it will be a 20% cancellation fee. How does that make sense for item that is discontinued and when the original time frame has been doubled? Extremely disappointed with the service we received. Update: with the help of George, Ashley furniture eventually refunded the cancellation fee. Thank you George

This is Pam I just wanted to talk about George the Salesman he was so in tune to our needs and so incredibly helpful. I am going to recommend my friends and family go to Ashley’s for their furniture.

I’m giving only two stars for the furniture, what we have in our possession. The stars are definitely NOT for the customer service. My husband and I have received only two pieces of our four piece order. When we received the call our order was being delivered, we were told “the whole order is being delivered”. We received only the sofa and end table. Since we financed on the 90 days same as cash program, we’re now having to make our full payments. Why? We don’t have the full order!!! We can’t get a straight answer from the salesman or customer service when I try to contact anyone. The salesman was friendly and definitely put on a show, like we were his best buds. But, now the sale was done, he has been the complete opposite. I’m not happy one bit and won’t recommend Ashley Furniture stores.

How awful! Placed my order a month ago, still have not received half of the product, I received my dining chairs within a few days of placing my order, haven't received the table yet. I've been waiting a month. All their reps refuse to help, they refuse to let you talk to a manager or higher up. I actually got hung up on by the supervisor from the Salem store, she's a peach. Where is my order?!?!

We stopped by to check out some dining room tables. We had shopped a ton of other salem stores and honestly Ashley had a much better selection than any of the others. Lots of different styles actually on the floor to look at!! Other stores seemed to have a bunch of the same type, or just a catalog to flip through. Karim did an awesome job! He helped us get our order together, making sure we didn’t miss anything and that we understood the process. He listened to all our questions wasn’t at all pushy, so we had time to actually think about our purchase before pulling the trigger! It was nice to actually have some customer service over just another pushy salesman! Only down side someone should be prepared for is this isn’t really a grab it now kind of store…. Seemed like the selection of “in stock” “walk out the door” products were pretty limited but delivery was free and we had the time to wait so it worked perfect for us!!

We just bought a couch from this store on their President’s day sale. Eddie Mesa was our salesman and he was great! Very friendly and knowledgeable. We came in with a specific couch in mind and he took us right to it. We did ask him to show us a couple of similar ones and he described all the differences between each one, was very patient, never pushy and a great attitude. When we were ready to buy he went over all of our financing options so we could pick the best one for us. Never did we feel pressured or rushed. We chatted with another employee and they were just as friendly. This is the third time we’ve bought furniture from this store and have always been impressed with the service and quality we have received. Will return when we need more furniture.

First of all I moved all my stuff into my house without damaging anything. The sales men that we had told us that we should pay for the delivery fee because nothing would get damaged and we wouldnt have to worry about setting up are furniture. Welllllll guess what, these people from ASHLEY FURNITURE show up to deliver couches and tables. They had the wrong table and damage my entry door not once or twice but 4 times. He decided to drive off to the side of the road instead of the middle and screwed up my drive way. Later on, I got a call from them asking if they left their dolly and drill at my house. Then they decided to drive back up my gravel driveway hauling butt - ignoring the speed signs posted in numerous spots up the entire driveway and proceeded to pull into another part of the driveway then back up my driveway and screw up my driveway even more resulting in even more damage. I paid for them to deliver and set everything up yet I had to go to the corvallis ashley furniture to get the right table. (Wait so I paid myself to go get the product and bring it to my house??????) Had a guy show up in a van to take pictures of the damage. I have been dealing with these idiots for 2 in a half months now just to get my damn door and road fixed and nothing has been fixed still. I am getting to the point another action is going to be taken. Then just today they had another u-haul truck go up my drive way to just take pictures AGAIN. Not a van or a smaller vehicle, no, another damn u-haul to cause more damage then already has been caused. One of the bran new couches that I sat on is already showing early signs of ware on the frame.

Our furniture came in, so scratched up and damaged. The bottom drawer in my chest didn’t work, and some of the drawer were completely chipped on the corners of my dresser. I cannot believe Ashley‘s would treat customers the way they did after I spoke with them. Shame on Ashley‘

We just bought a bed and we had the very best customer service experience ever! Eddie Mesa was knowledgeable, and thorough from beginning to end. He was fun made us feel comfortable, and we will be back to buy other furniture from Eddie again!

EDDIE MESA IS AMAZING!!!! This was my first experience with Ashley furniture and he made it seamless...and went above and beyond! My hubby and I have a 2 year old, I am pregnant and renovating my house so we needed a new livingroom set. I was upfront with Eddie about possibly purchasing this couch online since it was litteraly half price but he really took his time and went out of his way to truly show me how ordering through a real company like Ashley is beyond worth it. There is so much bad business through these discount online stores with empty promises. I feel so confident in my purchase now with Ashley and that the warranty will help ease my fears of children and dogs ruining my beautiful new couches and knowing Ashley is right here locally to help repair if needed (whereas the online company would not be). Not to mention, I was quoted a 5 week waiting period and I was just told my couches are in 3 weeks early!! Eddie just went out of his way to help me with getting my shipment scheduled when customer service was swamped and couldn't answer their phones.I couldn't be happier. Eddie, you're amazing and Ashley and your customers are lucky to have you!!

The worst store ever . They sold me a bed that took 13 weeks to deliver and when it finally came it broke within two days . When I contacted them they tried to dismiss my concerns and the rep was very unprofessional ,he shouted at me and said that I should not contact him again . He also added that the store has other issues which are more serious than mine dealing with . Sent an email to and there has been no response up to this moment.

I had a great experience ordering a dining table and chairs with Eddie! I called over the weekend to see if a table was on the floor to look at, and Eddie went above and beyond to help me. The table was not on the sales floor, but he helped me figure out dimensions and price quotes, and I told him we would look over the details and let him know what we thought. My husband and I even went to a location closer to home to look at tables, which also didn’t have the original table on the sales floor, but found a different one we really liked. The salesperson at that location was not as friendly and helpful as Eddie, so I contacted him later to handle the purchase! Thanks for all your help!

We had a wonderful experience at the Ashley Homestore in Salem today. We visited this store today to test out some couches. We had made a previous purchase at another location that could not be fulfilled due to the item being discontinued and oversold by Ashley Corporate. We explained the situation to the sales representative and let him know that we would not be making a purchase at this store because we had been sent from another store so that we could find an item to exchange for our already purchased item. Luis Flores was the sales representative who helped us and he was amazing. He understood our situation and did everything he could to help us find the living room set that we needed. The customer service that we got while at this location was exceptional. Luis was amazing but every single sales rep or employee we encountered while in the store was so kind and ready to help. We will 100% return to this location for any future purchases we make with Ashley Furniture. Thank you for your excellent customer service.

They lied to us about other furniture shops. They said they would be 12 weeks out on getting furniture lies. Got them within a week. They try to trick you to buy from them. When they are 4 to 5 weeks out.

DO NOT BUY HERE!!!!! Bought a couch after looking for long time I needed a couch that could handle animals as I had a mini husky and a cat the sales lady told me this couch o purchased was just that told me pet claw puncture proof and even took a set of keys to the couch to show it would do no damage. So I bought the couch.well This morning my daughter was holding cat and it jumped out her arms onto side arm and punctured the couch in three spots. No worry I said I have warranty on couch I will call and have some one come out well turns out it only has a one time pet damage repair with your warranty !!!!! And it’s not claw puncture proof either they lied !!on top of when couch was delivered .a whole section did not work they did not take it back to store told me they couldn’t and told me they would document the issue to get it fixed the delivery guy on delivery slip wrote that it was delivered and no issues I had to call store and tell them right there it was broken had I not there wouldn’t of been any proof. Well couch was delivered in October and it’s Jan and it still has not been repaired and I have already started making the payments. I will not buy anymore furniture from this place ever again. Buyer beware. Warranty’s are crap and they lie when they sell u furniture my first choice was a microfiber but Becuase of what lady said I bought this one.

I am SO upset with this place. We have been more than patient and kind with them here at Ashley’s and it’s the last straw. They sold us a couch and a mattress. We received our couch, and the delivery drivers did not even attempt to get it into our house for more than 5 minutes and said it wouldn’t fit because of our entryway gutters. So they left it in our yard and said we can figure it out. I asked if they could fit it if I removed the gutters and they said it wouldn’t fit. So my husband came home and him and I got it in in less than 5 minutes. Then I found out they lied to their boss and said that THEY OFFERED TO REMOVE OUR GUTTERS AND THAT I SAID NO!!! As far as our mattress goes- they said delivery should be no more than 6 weeks… we never received it and it’s been over 6 weeks. I have literally called the store about 20 times and I swear they blocked me or something because they’ve never answered. I guess we will be going down there in person. DON’T BUY FROM THEM THEY DON’T CARE ABOUT YOU AT ALL!

I wanted to love this store, but honestly I’m so frustrated with just trying to get the sofa I purchased that I’m not even sure I want it anymore… My husband and I ordered a reclining sofa the end of November and was told it would be in 3-5 weeks. Okay, that’s fine. Then we get a call a week later saying it’s coming in early and the team set up the delivery date. Great. I had company coming so my husband and I quickly sold our old couch to make room for the new one. When the delivery guys come, they unload the wrong couch, only for me to find out that the sale person put down the wrong couch and we had paid for the wrong one (note to self, always check the receipt when you purchase with them). So now I’m left with no couch at all. Customer service tells us that our couch won’t be ready until after Christmas and after much back and forth, we got a temporary couch to use… The delivery guys came, opened the box and pulled the couch out, only for a piece to be missing. I called customer service and that piece won’t come in until our actual couch is ready. They offered $50 to make up for the time and all the confusion… Everyone has been super friendly and have tried their best which I truly appreciate, but for some reason, the company can’t get their act together. Now I have a temporary, unfinished couch that I have to worry about until my couch arrives which is still unknown and $50 back. All this back and forth has been utterly frustrating and I won’t ever be shopping with them again…

We purchased 2 couches and a coffee table. Our salesman was great and we love our couches. Easy to clean even with 4 dogs and 2 kiddos. Once we got the room setup, the coffee table was just too short once we had new couches that aren’t broken in yet. We tried to return the coffee table and get something else, but it’s only a 48hr return window? Who has a 48hr return? We are only on day 5. With that policy I wouldn’t recommend the store. Find it in store and buy online

We had a good experience looking for a sofa in this store. There were many to choose from in a range of prices and we found one we love. I would've given it 5 stars except the sales person didn't tell us there were two kinds of delivery services. We ended up paying over a $100 for "deluxe" delivery, then found out later from my daughter that there was a $50 option. Maybe because we're older he simply assumed we couldn't move a sofa? The good news is that the delivery people--Aracely and Glenn--were fantastic. They were friendly, and careful with both the sofa and our walls. Definitely appreciated them!

George had great customer service today! He came right up to us with a smile on his face and helped us find the perfect couch that fit our family’s needs. It was practical and comfortable with a great color that met mine and my partners expectations. He took what we wanted and turned it into something we needed. I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Ashley Furniture. I ordered two bedroom sets and have been dealing with a nightmare for over four weeks. First, when my first bedroom set was finally delivered, the dresser was missing because it was damaged. No one communicated this with me beforehand—the delivery person just showed up and informed me. When I did finally receive the dresser over two weeks later, it was damaged again. Yet again, I wasn’t notified of the damage until it arrived at my door. The second bedroom set was scheduled for delivery, and I was told everything was fine. But the day before delivery, they informed me the bed was damaged and wouldn’t be delivered! This was after confirming the delivery date—why didn’t they mention the damage then? When I asked for a refund, multiple employees called me back trying to change my mind. Each one was rude and had a terrible attitude. Eventually, one person called and offered a swap if I’d still accept the delivery, so I agreed. But when the delivery guys arrived, they said the bed’s foundation was on backorder, and they had no idea when it would arrive. How am I supposed to use a bed with no foundation? This was never communicated, and they offered to just leave the boxes in the room until the foundation came in or cancel the delivery. I refused, of course. When I called Ashley to complain, no one was helpful. I even went to the store after work and was met with more attitude. They said they’d “sort it out” and call me, but I never received a follow-up. I’ve been emailing one of the people who initially reached out to me, and they have stopped responding altogether. I still haven’t received a refund. This experience has been nothing short of frustrating, and I wouldn’t recommend Ashley Furniture to anyone. The lack of communication, damaged items, delays, and poor customer service make me wish I’d never ordered from them.

My husband, son and I were very impressed not only by the price ranges and selection of recliners in the Salem store, but the great customer service that Eddie Mesa provided us. We started at Ashley furniture, then drove to several other stores in the area (LazyBoy, Keubler, Woodys) and came back to Ashley to purchase a beautiful recliner. Eddie was very knowledgable about the various recliners and gave us additional discounts that applied. We can't wait for our new recliner and would recommend this store and to ask for help from Eddie.

Highly recommend Eddie Mesa! He was awesome to work with. Very patient as we took hours to make our final decision on which couch we were going to purchase. He gave us space to talk and think about it while checking in on us every once in awhile. At a couple of times, Eddie was working with other customers so he would have another sales associate let us know that he was busy but would be back with us soon. He was the reason we came back to purchase furniture. He will be the reason we come back to purchase more!!

My fiancé and I placed an order in September being told the items would be delivered in 2 to 3 weeks. Our delivery was scheduled for October 19th. We had been told to clear out our old furniture to make room for the new furniture, which we did. Once they arrived they only had our dresser, not the mattress or bed. They said they never received the bed or mattress at all. When I called in they said they accidentally placed two separate orders and we would get our bed and mattress the next week. They called me last week to schedule the delivery for today, 4 weeks later, for just the bed. When i asked them about the mattress they said it was in and they would add it to the same delivery but today they showed up with a mattress no bed. So we have been without a bed for over a month. Every time we call we have to fight to get them to even locate our order. There has been no remorse over the fact that we haven't had a bed for over a month due to their incompetence. We paid thousands of dollars and don't even have the furniture we were charged for. Honestly, buy your furniture ANYWHERE else, this place is a joke.

Eddie was so helpful, personable and not an "in your face" type of salesman which I really appreciated. He didn't pressure us to buy anything but made sure to check in with us periodically if we had questions.

In early September I ordered over $3300 worth of furniture for both the dining room and living room of a new home. We paid for all of it in the store in Salem, and we're given a delivery date of September 20th. Because we expected our furniture to arrive on the date promised, we moved in thatday. Since we hadn't heard about a delivery time, we called and after a long and confusing conversation with the corporate customer service person, we were transferred to a call with customer service at the store. We were informed of massive disarray in their system because of switching from being a corporate store to a franchise store. We were told to expect a two week delay. Two weeks later we were told to expect the furniture at the end of November, 2 months later than promised. They have been willing to split our order so we now have living room furniture, but are still waiting for the dining set we hope to have before Thanksgiving. Every conversation with customer service, of which I've had many, they are confused and unable to make specific promises. They have been courteous and seem to make an effort, but their system still appears to be very disorganized. This experience has been exasperating and stressful.

Went in to buy a recliner, our salesman was extremely patient and helpful in pointing out our options. We actually went back to the store 3 times before purchasing but never felt any high pressure sales, only patience and understanding. A very positive experience and will definitely go back to Ashley for future purchases!

Purchased a sofa, coffee table, end tables and a TV console. I was assured that the delivery people would put the tables and console together. The sofa was delivered, they said they do not put anything together and laughed at me. I was told that I paid for delivery and set up.Tried reaching out to Salem, Oregon store, no answer, tried to call for days and no one answered. Finally call customer service (not sure where). Made a complaint, they tried calling the Salem store and got no answer. Nothing was ever resolved, no call backs, no follow up. Long story short, I will not purchase anything from Ashley's again, especially in Salem, Oregon!

This is really about the experience, not the specific location. I would not buy online! We had a terrible experience, ordered a couch on Sept. 2nd had a total of 4 different date confirmation emails and every time you tried to track the delivery time it was not found. Multiple phone calls and no one had an answer as to where it was. Finally canceled the order today.

I have ordered a multitude of furniture items from Ashley’s, including a couch, rugs, tables and a lamp. I have received only a partial amount of the products that I have ordered and have been pleased with the quality of the items I ordered, but I have found your customer service and delivery process to be quite disorganized and unsatisfactory. I ordered all of these items on August 15, 2024. The expected delivery time for these items was approximately two to three weeks. One month later and none of my items have been delivered and no one has reached out to me to update me about my delivery. I then called and contacted someone from the front desk and they told me that they would work on it and contact me about my delivery. I then received only half of my items and was never contacted after the delivery of those items. I then called again and was told that my other items were at the store and they would send me an email to confirm my delivery. They came back again about two weeks later with only one more item. It is now 2 months later and I have still had trouble getting a hold of your company to deliver my items and have had to rearrange my schedule multiple times including being late to work. While everything at the store and the quality of the items are great, it is not worth it if I never receive the items. l also went into the store personally and they said they would make it right and contact me, but still never have. Keep in mind I spent thousands of dollars on this order.

I had a horrible experience with Ashley’s in Salem. We were aware that the delivery time would be a couple weeks out but their communication is horrible. We received an email for a delivery date and when the delivery date arrived we never heard back. I called and they mentioned we needed to reschedule which we did and again the item was not going to be delivered. They mentioned our item would need to be delivered to the warehouse. Both times we’ve had to make arrangements to have someone at home. Super unprofessional service and no communication. Canceled item instead of dealing with this for a 3rd time. In response to the below message: if re-submitting the order and having to wait another 4 weeks for delivery is taking care of the issue than sure. A resolution would be having a better time frame or explanation on why the item has been delayed twice or offering the customer a rush option.

We are extremely disappointed in two chairs we purchased at the Salem store. They are flimsy and not as sturdy as the one we tried on the showroom floor. The sales representative told us if we were unhappy with this product it could be returned and sold me an expensive warranty package that he indicated would allow the product to be returned. What a SCAM! We cannot return these items. We will never shop at Ashley again as we believe we were taken advantage of as senior adults. The misrepresentation is disappointing to say the least. We will never recommend Ashley and will discourage our friends from shopping there. Worse than Walmart quality.

I got all my questions answered and was encouraged to take my time without feeling pressured. One of your employees was extremely nice and very helpful. I went into Ashley's looking for a specific style couch. Unfortunately the company doesn't carry this style but the guy helping me (Eddie) was amazing. Even tho they didn't carry the one i was looking for, he showed me what most companies consider a "Firm" couch style (which is what i was going for) and some comparable style couches. I have a very small living room and very particular about the kind I want in my house. He was very understanding about that and not pushy at all. I will definitely be asking for him again when I go back for my bedroom set

UPDATE: The slats were finally delivered on Tuesday (10/8). The guys that delivered them had no idea that they were going to have to assemble the bed. They were cool about it though and really nice. I liked the delivery guys. But still stand by my review. I also realized they never delivered the $150 nightstand that was part of my order. I didn't notice it because I thought it was with the other boxes that were left in my garage but turns out it wasn't. I'm just going to take the loss because I simply don't have the energy to deal with this company anymore. If I could give zero stars I would. Waiting over a month for bed slats. Yes, BED SLATS for my sons bed that I purchased from them and is sitting in my garage because they are supposed to assemble it when the bed slats come. They just give me excuse after excuse, rarely answer their phone and are just playing games at this point. I do not recommend this place at all. You have been warned, DO NOT SHOP here!

I purchased a couch and accent table 8/31 and set delivery for 9/21 (3weeks). On 9/20 we removed our old couch and got excited for our new items. 9/21 came and we hadn't heard a word about delivery so I decided to call in. I called the customer care 888 number and they couldn't even locate my order. They put me on hold and said they would call the store but apparently just transferred me there to a voicemail. I left a voicemail and called the store myself directly and spoke to the store manager Jammison Rosas who indicated my items were not going to be delivered and had no estimate of when due to some corporate delivery change. I had not been contacted and would not have been if I hadn't followed up myself. So here I stand with nowhere to sit and a husband about to have surgery and needs a place to rest. Luckily I went to The American Furniture store and I'm having what appears to be the same couch delivered tomorrow. Skip the trip to Ashley if you want to avoid emotional trauma and find another store. Id recommend The American Furniture store.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE UNPROFESSIONAL! I purchased my order since Aug17,2024 and it supposed to delivery on Sep11. They send me to confirm for delivery on Sep8.and today is Sep10 they tried to call me that they have to reschedule. This is very frustrating.this company called me before the delivery day just 1 day.i don’t understand how they’re working.so stupid.and the lady name Amanda said she gonna give me a call back today.since then i never heard anything from them.we’ve been waiting for the chair almost month.it’s for my nursery. The problem is if you guys don’t have a chair or not ready to ship.you guys should let us know in earlier.then we could plan to buy somewhere else because we needed it.unprofessional company.the worst experience store in America.

Worst delivery experience of our entire lives. Ordered a new frame, mattress and chairs, mattress only arrived at close to 11:30pm. One guy showed up to deliver the mattress and take away our old one, my husband had to help remove our old mattress. I can't believe I paid a delivery fee for this kind of service. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. I still don't know if we'll ever get the rest of the order we paid for because the store number rings to an automated assistant that is no help and the company is showing our order has been delivered. I REPEAT WALK AWAY DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE. UPDATE: 10/17/24 - turns out the WRONG mattress was delivered. When we brought this to their attention 3 days after delivery, they ordered the correct mattress, that was over A MONTH AGO AND STILL NO MATTRESS!! we have gone by the store in person twice now and were assured it would be soon and now nearly 6 weeks later we are sleeping on the wrong mattress still. Every time they claim Doug King be calling us back and EVERY TIME he DOES NOT! My husband and I are about to put the mattress in the back of our truck and take it back ourselves. AGAIN, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE.

Bait and switch sales tactics...advertised couch on laborday sale $199..went in 2 days before to sit on,tryout. The employe said they would not have one in stock untill 10am on laborday....we came back and were told..the $199 price was for matresess,by the store manager,tha5 the sales guy..who went and looked up all the info on Satarday was mistaken. Friendly knowledgeable staff, huge selection. Great prices too. Nelson and Kem were amazing help. One year review. The couch and loveseat themselves are not holding up. We started having issues with sagging and pilling of the fabric by month 3. Ashley warranty said "it's just conforming to your body" and refused to do more. Store manager sent more stuffing and replacement covers, but now a year in I have had to restuff 3 times, and added anti sag boards under the cushions. Very unhappy with the product.

Ordered a table , was told would be delivered a week after I ordered. I decided to call Ashley’s since no one called me about what time I would receive my table , they tell me it’s pushed out another week ! Guy in store didn’t do his job , rushed us to get out , didn’t ask if we wanted insurance , the last time I went service was amazing ! Not this time , guy on counter looks like he hates his job

Delivery people didn’t speak English. Were trying to tell them a better way to bring it up and had no idea what we were saying. Told them to take off and we would figure it out. Store number just goes to automated system where you can barely understand them when someone talks. Won’t give refund for delivery

We were very happy with George as our sales rep. We seemed to have trouble with the delivery dates due to unavailability of some items. When we finally got the whole order, one of the items was damages and was returned on the delivery truck for replacement. When we checked with the store we were told they were aware and would take care of it. We still have not heard a projected delivery date of the replacement. When I called yesterday to inquire, I was cut off and neither of us received a return call. By the way, we do love the product.

I found the most PERFECT couch for my home, waited almost a month for delivery only for the delivery drivers to not deliver my couch, saying it was too big to fit inside. I suggested bringing in the smaller pieces and that we could finagle the largest piece in however, they tried to bring the largest piece in FIRST and said there is no way to get it in and that my only option was to deny delivery. I called the Ashley store where I purchased my furniture and the lady on the phone hung up on me then had a condescending tone with me when I said I do not want to purchase another couch that I wanted a FULL refund as nothing was delivered and the delivery people said they wouldn’t charge me. The woman on the phone was not helpful and told me to wait 24-48 hours to hear back about the refund. If I he delivery people refused to deliver the product that I paid for then I should not be charged for it and therefore a full refund should be reinstated! Do better Ashley’s!

I cancelled my order because I was told my order would be delivered on 6/25/24 and the next day(6/21/24) after I ordered it I got a call telling me it would not be delivered until 7/2/24 because I (that's is what I was told)I didn't confirm the order. No one said anything about confirming the order and they tried to make me feel like it was my fault. So if that is how you treat your customers I will not do business with a store that makes it's customers feel belittled. Thank you Roberta Gitchel

Delivery boys 5 stars. In store salesman 2 stars. Numerous times he would tell us the price just for example $1000, but would end up being $1689. After buying almost $12,000, even at the end he would say one price but it be more. He waited until the end to say a price for delivery because you can't pick up from the store. I like Ashley's furniture. It is to bad a salesman gives one price. For example it's just $1000 more when it's $1689 total and happens over and over.

Paid a ridiculous amount of money for a very nice bed and a premium base. Now they call to tell me that the base is not in stock and they don’t know when it will be in stock. Absolutely ridiculous. When you give a customer a guarantee that an item will arrive, why don’t you stick to the guarantee instead of calling me on the day it’s supposed to be delivered to tell me it won’t be delivered.

Kim greeted us at the door and was very friendly. He was great. They were busy since a sale was in progress, but he kept an eye on us and kept checking back with us to see how we were doing. He was very knowledgeable about their products and was never pushy. He had a perfect balance between professionalism and interacting with us (kidding around, etc.) which made it an enjoyable experience. He is an asset to the company. The one drawback (which almost cost the sale) was that the sofa I chose looked a different color in different lighting. I asked to take a throw pillow home (of course I would leave a deposit) to see what color it was in my room but was told it was against company policy. I mean, who wants to spend that much money on something when you don't know the actual color? I ended up gambling, but if it's "off" I'm stuck.

I don't know why the guy slurring cannot math. But I have a credit of $1500. I get a sofa $799. Go to pick out a recliner $649 somehow equals $1857. Don't ask for Josh. I drove from Albany to be ripped off. I called first to order but they needed me to drive 50 miles round trip to be price hiked.

I'm very sorry, it was a very unprofessional store. Not once was I greeted. I dragged a rug from clearance across the store by myself. The receptionist was not friendly. The first salesman was as phoney as anyone could be. The second salesman was trying to get a price on the rug (he finally found the manager) and at least she gave me a good price for it. But, he was, in my opinion, lazy. I ordered a nightstand and won't get for a month and I have to put it together myself! I hauled the rug out on my shoulder. I am 65! What happened to customer service? 😕

After going to every furniture store in town. I decided to buy my dinette set here. Price was the best, salesman was funny and got us the best deal.

Update: Awful, don’t recommend. Sales staff were great, but it went down hill after purchase. Ordered 2 barstools and a king bed, then a 2nd order of a queen bed and another queen bed set. The 1st delivery was the queen beds/bedset. The delivery men swore they had the king not the queen we had cleared space for and made us completely clear out the main bedroom. Afterwards, they said the hardware was missing, left it in my garage and supposedly ordered the parts. When the person showed up weeks later to assemble the bed, he said it was a queen and the parts were in the un-opened box all along! Weeks turned to months sleeping on a mattress on the floor waiting for our bed! Finally, they set the delivery and again, we cleared out the main bedroom. They showed up w/out the side rails and left the rest of the bed taking up our whole garage. I didn’t notice until they left that they ordered the wrong stools! We asked for barstools and they sent us pub stools, which are way taller. They didn’t even fit under the bar. We loaded them up and took them to the store and instead of exchanging them, we had to take them back home and wait for another order! They finally set up delivery on my bed rails, only to call the day of, after we cleared the main bedroom FOR THE 3RD TIME, to say that the rails were damaged. After several heated calls, I was told they weren’t damaged, in fact they didn’t even have them. It took over 4 months and TONS of work and stress before we finally received our bed. Save the stress and go to Mor Furniture! I’ve never had any trouble or late deliveries from them.

I had called the store many times and I would speak to a robot and then it rang but then it just hung up and they picked up once I told them why I was calling and then they gave me a number to call the number was the same one I was speaking to

I went in to buy a couch and could have bought it out right but I wanted to build my credit so I financed it under the impression it was a loan. The sales guy repeatedly referred to it as a loan, saying things like “see if you pre qualify for our loan” “the loan is for 12 months” and things like that. It’s not a loan. It’s a credit card. If he would have said “see if you pre qualify for an Ashley’s furniture credit card” I would have immediately said no. It was deceptive marketing and I honestly wanna cancel my order and get my couch from somewhere else. When I pay off the couch or cancel my order I’m gonna have to cancel the credit card that I never even wanted and that’s gonna hurt my credit to do because I’ll loose an account instead of my credit going up for paying off a loan. I called to complain and was on hold for 40 minutes before the phone hung up.

My overall experience was good. Everyone was very helpful and professional. Sean especially made the whole experience enjoyable. His sense of humor and knowledge was very much appreciated.

Ordered a reclining chair for our son. It was suppose to be delivered today between 2 and 6pm. It has yet to be delivered and we tried calling to see what is going on. The gal on the phone said they are running late and then hung up on my husband. We called back to speak to a manager, the manager was in a "meeting" and will call us back. Never got a call back. We attempted to the call the 800 # and the store #, no one was answering the phone. The last call we made says they are closed and to call back during business hours. It is almost 10pm and still no delivery. Ashley's has now lost any future sales from us. We are so disappointed in their delivery service and customer service.

came in looking for gaming chair with only one in stock. Sales rep told me they would have to order for more to come in. One gaming chair was in clearance except the cable that the chair used to utilize the light up RGB strips on it was sliced. Sales rep also told me he would not drop the price on it any more after I pointed that out. Extremely disappointed by the quality of my visit and will not be returning.

I have tried calling the store multiple times over the last few days with a question about a couch I had purchased and have been told each time that someone would call me back. Last night I was told that I would be contacted today by 5pm, still no one called. I attempted to contact them again this evening and now no one is answering the phone. It feels like they only care about you as a customer until they have gotten your money, after that they have no interest in helping you. I'm really disappointed in their customer service.

The experience was one of my worst retail experiences of trying to buy something from a store that is selling stuff and not being able to make it happen. We walked through the store for about 30 minutes and didn’t have one sales associate come and greet us at all. Then we sat down on the couch that we wanted to buy that was right by the hub, where all of their sales consultants walked in and out of. We saw at least six people walk past us and never stop to talk to us. Finally a gentleman did he was helpful And then we purchased the couch and some wall art and were told that they were going to be delivered within a week. Then we got a phone call saying our couch was going to be delayed in for another month. We already got rid of her other couch the day before the delivery so we knew that it was plenty of room for it like they asked us to do. we still do not have our couch. We still do not have our wall art and they confirm delivery within 10 minutes earlier today and now it’s been three hours since that time. They don’t know what’s going on with my furniture at all. At first it was deferred to another store for their floor model to be in there and then they said no we will make sure it gets to your house. That did not happen. The tracking information they gave me I tracked it all the way up until 10 minutes. It was supposed to be here and now it’s not here and they’re not delivering it apparently. The company is horrible. Their customer service is even worse and people really don’t know what’s going on but I’ll tell you what they will take your money and hold it and use it for their own proper tea in Creasman without any regards to you as a customer. Some people seem to care, but nothing is being done. They’ve had almost $2000 for me for over a week and I am paying interest on it and I still won’t have any furniture for probably a month. That’s not right .

We had a great experience, we gave Josh a vague idea of what we wanted and he guided us to a ton of great options, answered all our questions, withstood our 1 year Olds tantrum and found us the perfect couch that checked all our boxes.

Ordered a couch from here in May 2023, couch was delivered to the wrong address in Portland instead of Dallas, OR. When scheduling redelivery, I told them Friday wouldn't work because of my schedule. Delivery man shows up and rings my doorbell on Friday anyways. Then, I order a new bed frame and mattress from them December 6, 2023. The delivery date is set for Jan. 6, 2023. I had my old mattress removed days before the Jan. 6 date, and then got a call that my new bed was postponed until February 13th. Then February 9th got a call that it was delayed until middle of March! Needless to say, I cancelled this order and will not be ordering with Ashley again...

I was going to order things online but I went into the showroom floor to see what was going on there that Stor and the people there that were helping me were so great and kind and helpful. I just went back there again to go and get a bedroom set for my daughter. I had a delivery date for my couch also and they were very good about calling me and sending me messages. It was an easy process. Everything just worked out well. The delivery people that delivered my couch even they were fast and efficient and I’m so glad that they took away all of the wrapping. Also. I’ve bragged a lot about the store and the things that I’ve bought and now people are wanting to go And buy my couch .

Apparently your delivery crew doesn’t speak very much English. Like sign here and goodbye. If I had any questions they probably couldn’t or wouldn’t have been able to answer them.

Worst experience ever! Purchased 3 sets of furniture in early December with 2 to 4 week delivery timelines. Manager of store unwilling to assist with multiple delivery charges. Each of three delivery dates have been delayed with one yet to be scheduled 2 months later. Two pieces from second delivery were damaged with one piece being returned. That piece was returned twice due to damage. When finally delivered, the delivery personnel punched a hole in the entryway without mentioning the damage. One piece is still on back order with no delivery date established. Calls to the store have gone with no response to our concerns. Calls to customer service, once connected have been somewhat informative on status but unable to resolve issues. As for quality of furniture, you get what you pay for ... eventually if not damaged. Never again!

We had a great experience shopping at Ashley, we went in just browsing and ended up purchasing a living room furniture set. Deena was amazing and answered all of our questions, we look forward to working with her again in the future.

Delivery was a nightmare, multiple reschedules, lack of communication, miscommunication with warehouse and store management. Months later I finally have my item, not assembled, when assembly was paid for, sitting in my house.

Worst experience ever with Ashley. They cancelled and rescheduled my order numerous times. Then expect delivery and date of delivery they cancelled again after awaiting for 3 hours and missing work. The rescheduled the date of delivery did not arrive as expected time line. I paid to have my product delivered and assembled. Product was not assembled left in boxes. The delivery driver said they were contracted and Ashley does not them hours they work over. I told him that was illegal to not pay employees hours worked. DONT BUY FROM HERE!!!

Very disappointed in my last purchase at Ashley furniture. Waited over 6 weeks for a delivery that was supposed to only take 3 weeks. Finally decided to cancel the order. It’s been over a week and a half since we canceled the item and still haven’t received our refund. I would not recommend purchasing from Ashley furniture.

How Ashley Furniture Ruined Christmas On Dec 6th we went to Ashley for one specific reason, buy a new Dining Room Set for Christmas as we were hosting, we finally settled on a set and our sales rep Kem got everything written up and eagerly took our $2500.00. With a promised delivery date of Dec. 20. Come Dec 20 the truck arrived and we showed them where to put it all. Driver came to me and asked me to look at the table, DAMAGED entire corner crushed, he said he would report it and take it back, so they left 7 chairs and the Server. Then the garbage began, First Customer service said they would have a new table to us by Saturday, in 24 hrs they will call with the delivery time as the replacement was in the system, no calls or texts, called Customer Care line, no order in the system but they would do it, call tomorrow, we called no order was placed because the driver didn't return table they said, when asked how that is our problem, "policy is we must have the return back to warehouse" before they can replace. Not caring where their driver was, we informed them of our receipt clearly stating "driver took table" they were totally unfazed by that and refused to enter order. so next step as we were told by Kem, any issues call me here's my direct line, after 4 calls and no response, we called the store only to be told no order in system as nothing had been returned. Bottom line no one from Ashley cared or was willing to do anything to help as it always came back to the driver who apparently left the state with a truckload and never retuned "I wonder if they reported it to the police" or was it all an easy excuse to lie and tell us more lies. As it is we have no table and Christmas is in 2 days. Thank You Ashely for ruining our gathering and you have certainly lost a customer for life. One day we may have a table but it seems with missing drivers, Customer Care reps that don't care and non responsive store employees it is in doubt. 12/28/23 Waited my 24 hrs to get confirmation on delivery, as has been the norm, no call from Ashley so back to customer care who informs me it was delivered yesterday and it wasn't, because the warehouse staff dropped in the warehouse and broke it. But they did send the driver to our house to stop 20sec in front of the house and then drive away. About 100 mile round trip to show the truck came to our house. Still no table

You better hope nothing goes wrong with your order or delivery from Ashley because if it does, prepare for the worst customer service you can imagine. It took 3 delivery attempts for my couch to actually arrive at my door. That’s 3 times I rearranged my schedule to be home for a delivery only to have the wrong couch show up or only a portion of the total order. That’s frustrating enough but the complete lack of organization and communication between the store and warehouse was truly shocking. I had to play middle man, which shouldn’t be a customer’s job, and still couldn’t get a straight answer. For a store that works in delivering furniture, you will be amazed at how poorly they do it. And finally, when I said I felt I needed to be partially compensated for the order due to the long postponement, I was offered an insulting $50 and my other emails were literally ignored. Do not shop here

Worst service ever, we buy a costume make living room. Couch system with wedged and everything. It took them a month to delivered, then the send us half of the order and now it's been two months and the order is not fully delivered. And when you go and ask at the store, they said there's nothing that they can do. Worst service ever, nice furniture but is not worth it.

I cant even get through to the store, it states open m-f 8am-8pm google states 9pm. But the robot tells me other wise, bought a 3 piece set black friday. They couldnt get me a stupid delivery date, promised Monday still nothing Tuesday nothing. And when you call it says stores closed (see beginning comment) when u try and pull up the date it has a error or a date of delivery jan 1 1990 so like wth. I was born in 91 so not correct. No one can answer me? Im about to goto the store.

The store was so busy and not enough help. The phones were ringing and people were standing around waiting to be helped (half a dozen people waiting to make purchases) The staff was extremely nice but overwhelmed. I wanted to pay cash for my purchase and was told I could not do that because the cash person was out. I found a piece of furniture online that I wanted and was told it was discontinued but it was on the website. Did end up ordering a few items. Hopefully they will arrive and be the quality we paid for. Furniture has gotten so expensive and its not made the way it use to be.

I needed a specific set of aspects in the sofa sleeper to fit my needs, and those needs were competently and speedily met. Although the selection was great, the reliability of getting the sofa delivered on time was very poor. I was scheduled for delivery on the 16th of December, it was changed just before the 16th to the 26th, the day after Christmas. That caused me to be without a couch for my Christmas party. The unit was delivered near 7:00 pm on the 26th. The delivery itself was good, but I should have been informed earlier of the delay in getting the sofa.

Customer service was great. He showed us a lot of options. No pressure. Checking out was simple. I gave 4 stars because the furniture is expensive.

Good variety of furniture, from economical to fancy. Plenty of helpful staff on hand. Salesman Kem was the icing on the cake. Personable, organized, and when I accidentally broke the pen his 2-year-old made for him, he took it in stride like a champ. Well done, Ashley Furniture, we'll be back.

Shopping for furniture is probably one of the least pleasant aspects of living in any space and the likes of Kim, our salesperson and Sean in customer service did their very best to make this as easy a process as possible. This is the second day in a row I have tried to come into Ashley Outlet and they were closed when they say they are open. I will never be coming back.

Sophie gave us terrible service, I called ahead to ask if they had a specific sectional (color, style and my budget) that let her know I would be making a 35 minute trip so I wanted to check before I make the trip so she assured me they had plenty of what we were looking for under our budget $1600 in stock. We get there, she tells us to look around and she would get back to us, I walked around for about 20 minutes until she checked back in. We thought we found some but the prices listed were only for a 1/3rd piece of the couch, she said they had nothing in stock in our price range or anything in the color we wanted. I asked her why she told us they did and she said she didn’t know. No apology, was rude & didn’t even try to find anything. I took my business to The American Furniture and were treated the absolute opposite found multiples sectionals a little over our budget but we’re willing to spent that based on how we were treated.

Kem, was very helpful. We looked around the store without pressure and then reached out when we needed help and to purchase our dining room table and chairs. The delivery is scheduled within a week and we paid for them to assemble the furniture to keep the warranty. Thanks again.

Sophie is THE BESSSSST...her exceptional customer service, and knowledge of design style with furniture is what I look for and expect when shopping for furniture. She vibes with her customer's vision. I'm VERY PICKY, and have been staging, decorating spaces for decades, I'm glad I ran across Sophie and Ashley Furniture. The store was clean, organized, not cluttered. My only suggestion, maybe turn on some music, create a livelier atmosphere, theres nothing wrong with some low volume 🎶😉 playing, it was little to quiet. That's it. Other than that, great experience, can't wait for my new furniture to arrive. ☺️

Salesperson was very polite. I told him I was just looking and if I found something I wanted to buy, I would let him know. I did find something and he was very pleasant to work with. A very nice salesman.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience. Sophia was our associate and she was very good at her job! She was knowledgeable and kind. There was 3 associates in the store with about 5 customers... I had the guy at the desk take care of my order, sloppy dress salesperson was taking car of another... all the ,while the manager did not lift a finger to help anyone... been shop there for over 15 years. No more until they can improve on their customers skills.

I'm not one for writing reviews on products but I've had enough with the back n fourth lies of the company. I ordered furniture back at the end of July beginning of August. When I ordered the furniture "everything was in stock" and would arrive on August 11...well the day before the delivery shockingly they called and said "we need to reschedule nothing has arrived", was rescheduled to the week of Aug 21, on this day only half my order came, my bedframe had arrived but no hardware so that would come in the next delivery. The rest was supposed to arrive on Sept 9th, well sept 9th came and went, no furniture. Then they sent me an email to reschedule to furniture delivery to sept 15. Fine rescheduled. THEN the company called me to reschedule once again saying "nothing has arrived in our warehouse" when I questioned where the bedframe that I ordered had gone to, since the last person I spoke with said the bedframe was there but was missing hardware, she said she had no clue what I was talking about since no one took any notes. So we rescheduled once more till tomorrow Sept 20, i had a representative from Ashleys "american" call me yesterday (09/18) to confirm my delivery and that everything would be here except the dresser on the 20th (the dresser has been back ordered) . Now I just got another phone call from someone over seas telling me that once again "nothing is in the warehouse" when I tell her that I just spoke to someone else yesterday and confirmed that everything was there except the dresser, she then stated "its being delayed due to our truck breaking down" its one lie after another with this company. I understand things happen, and things get delayed but to be bold faced lie to, is what sets me over the edge. I'm now going through the process to cancel my entire order, I will never support this company again and I recommend everyone stay away.

Sophia was awesome! She listened and helped us find what we needed, made helpful recommendations, was not at all pushy, and I would highly recommend her for when you go furniture shopping. The selection of items is very excellent too. James and Niamh
