This store is beyond my favorite place to shop for furniture due to how clean and organized it is to other places! Jorge was very kind and knowledgable when it came to helping me determine which pieces would fit my home best! The whole sales team is very welcoming as well! I definitely recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for the perfect pieces for their home!

I have an approved warranty claim and the Springfield store is doing nothing to help me because they are no longer a corporate store. They won't respond to my emails or phone messages. Dale Erickson
I ended up buying a new living room set and got the protection also. I was told if something went wrong a tech would come out and help. Yet when I called the protection company I was denied. I then call Ashley to see what they could do to help the guy on the phone was very nice and said he would take my information and pass it to him manager to help me. Still have not heard from anyone the protection was a scam I spent about 400 dollars and my furniture is falling apart. I would never recommend anyone buy furniture from here.
The sales man was wonderful Theron was excellent to deal with. The females at the desk on the other hand sarcastic and rude. Theron laughed with us and made spending our thousands a happy experience. The females answer questions by phone with sarcastic snarky replies as well. Do better women, do better.
*Edit*** delivery was nothing short of aweful and has since made us never want to use Ashley again. It was THAT bad. Love our furniture after we got it MONTHS later after hours of fighting, HOURS over the course of months!!! Walked in to browse and was immediately greeted by the sweetest kid named Ozzy. He has such great smile and warm personality. Non pushy and we very much enjoyed working with him.
At the Springfield Gateway store; Madison did a great job; quick, efficient, informative, mentioned all the talking points. Made a good case for the protection plan. Made getting a new recliner easy and comfortable, not pushy like a lot of businesses tend to be. Y'all are lucky to have her.

I had a great experience with Chris, paid in full for my bedroom set but I still have not heard anything about delivery. After reading all the reviews I’m really concerned if I will not receive my furniture in a timely manner and all together as I ordered an entire set. I already spoke to someone at the store and they told me it could be a couple weeks but I created an online account and it said I had no pending orders. That makes no sense to me. I will try to call Salem or something tomorrow. I don’t like now I have already paid for the furniture and all this time goes by and no one reached out about delivery.
It was very off-putting how pushy the sales representative was about making a sale off me. I was just browsing furniture and she came off very desperate for me to buy something on the spot. I think they should practice giving costumers more space while they're deciding on making such a large purchase.
I have had a great experience with the staff at Ashley’s at Gateway. Ours sales rep, Chris, has been super helpful and patient with the original purchase and a recent hiccup. Kerrie and Lori have also been very helpful both in person and on the phone. All of the employees (including the delivery guys) I’ve encountered have been gracious, pleasant and easy to work with. I had a tricky situation with a piece of furniture I had ordered and then realized wouldn’t work. I walked into the store yesterday with my ‘dilemma’ and walked out with it resolved to my complete satisfaction. It was a big relief and very encouraging to have such a positive retail experience. Lori ( or is it Laurie sorry I am not sure) called me. I was originally supposed to receive my sofa on the 11th sadly that wasn't to be. Lori called and was so nice. My challenge was 2 fold one I had sold my old furniture because in a couple days I was getting my new sofa delivered and I am having surgery next week so canceling and doing more looking was not an option. She did her magic on her end and worked hard to get my furniture on a truck to me! 2 very nice young men delivered it this morning and I am so happy to have a comfortable place for my mom and I as I recuperate after surgery. Happy Holidays!
Sales staff was helpful; however, I asked about when delivery would happen and was promised very soon. Still waiting after a month. If you want something soon, look elsewhere.
We had some complications with delivery but we had great sales experiance with ozzy and customer service made things easier to find a solution for getting are mattress. We will be buying are sectional there as well

Give this place a 3 because when I bought the bed they said it would be here in two days. Two weeks later it shows up and didn’t even have my mattress protector with my bed so now I’m waiting for that and you guys haven’t even called me back to let me know or give me a tracking number. Plus sucks no communication

I recently moved to Eugene and I walked into Ashley Furniture Home Store in the Gateway Mall. The manager Ryan W greeted me and made me feel right at home. He guided me to the correct area and was knowledgeable about the products Ashley carries. I would definitely recommend this store.

We received our dining room table this weekend and it is stunning! Heavy and sturdy and in great condition. The folks that delivered it were so impressive! Hats off to Ari and Brandon, they were professional, friendly and efficient. This is our 3rd piece of furniture purchased this year from Ashley and we are more than happy with the service and the furniture!

Very horrible company. Their customer service is very bad the Delivery Driver was very Inappropriate with me did not take the package away did not take the garbage away. Did not have me sign anything then The delivery driver Text me inappropriate things this is not OK at all

Order are furniture on September 5. Got the first delivery with 2 broken dresser. Finally after over a month got 1 replacement dresser but still waiting on are 2nd. Freakn ridiculous
The delivery date was a tremendous problem for me because I was promising, and then they didn’t materialize, but finally the woman I spoke with customer service was delightful and started updating me and that relieved me to no end. The delivery man was superior. He was conscious of my other things so that he didn’t break anything. He advised me not to put the sofa in front of the heater. He was an ad to your company. Give him a Forrester the thing I was customers if you change delivery times it was very upsetting.
The sales process was great. The sales person was very friendly and helpful. The delivery was a different story. They were very abrupt. Didn't offer to remove their shoes even though we have light carpet. They left the new recliner in the middle of the room and I had to move it myself. I'm 70 years old with back problems. They didn't show me how to use the new remote controls either. All together the delivery sucked but the sales team at the store was great. I hope Ashley chooses to stop using this delivery company.
Ordering was easy but the delivery of the furniture was a disaster. I had locked in delivery dates that were never kept and the help received from the store was just as bad. No one from the store to the warehouse understands anything about scheduling or deliveries. Three weeks later i had to send my own trucking company to their warehouse and have the furniture delivered at my expense. No apologies or discount. I will never buy from them again.

Update- A month after our cancellation, and communications about being refunded, and Ashley never refunded our money to us! We had to file a dispute with our credit card company to finally get a refund. Absolutely ridiculous. Don’t do business here!! The associate that helped us at the store was very kind and helpful, but our overall experience has been awful. We ended up cancelling our entire order today. We ordered a mattress, box spring, and frame over 3 weeks ago (Sept 1). It was supposed to be delivered on the 17th, but they called on the 14th to tell us they won’t be here as scheduled, and couldn’t give us a date for when they’d be able to reschedule. We called today (the 23rd), because we haven’t received any type of communication, and they still couldn’t give us a delivery date, so we decided to cancel the order. We went to a locally owned mattress store today, paid $500 less for the same brand mattress, and are getting our items delivered tomorrow. We will never shop here again.
Beyond poor experience
I hate to rate this place so poorly, but after two unpleasant delivery experiences, I’m seeing a pattern. The first one, the folks didn’t even attempt to bring the sofa inside, claiming it wouldn’t fit through the door (again, they didn’t try). Then, after ordering a different couch, I paid for the upgraded delivery, which included installation and trash removal. I got neither- there was trash left behind in the front yard and the couch was not connected at the base. My partner discovered that when he nearly fell through the gap. It’s unfair to pay extra for services that I didn’t even get. * Edited in October After months of trying to get customer service to reply to me and refund me for poor delivery services, I finally got BBB involved and eventually got the refund. I think the delivery service is separate from Ashley, hence the higher rating, but customer service in the whole thing was still pretty subpar.
What a nightmare. The sofa has a gap in the middle you can see through to the wall and the floor. It is a big glaring defect you can see from across the house, yet they are refusing to do anything about it because one very unprofessional technician couldn’t fix it and decided to state it not defective. $2000 sofa that looks like a piece of knockoff garbage compared to the one in the showroom
Waited 20 min for help, nobody around to answer questions.
Whatever company Ashley's uses for their delivery services is dragging their online business into the mud. We've waited over 2 weeks for a set of couches to arrive. The first time they tried to deliver, their young kid drivers, who spoke no English, (besides the point) crashed into a tree a few houses down the street, causing damage to their box truck. They made a complaint about the road being too narrow, but drove directly past our house anyway. When they were supposed to show up a few days later to redeliver the couches, nobody called, and nobody showed up. So after another 5 days of waiting with an empty living room, they're finally supposed to arrive again. We had requested that they call us when they are on the way to our place, because we both work 15+ minutes from home. Around 10am, my SO gets a call, that they are AT the house, and will only wait 15 minutes before moving on. My SO then immediately leaves work and gets home as soon as she can. (around 17 minutes) The delivery truck was in fact still there, but when she got out of her car, the guy in the truck leaned out and said, "more than 15 minutes!" and then drove off. What a POS. After they left, my SO went to pick up our 6 year old from school, as she had been vomiting for the last hour. After talking with one of the "customer service" representatives from India, or wherever they outsource to, she was told that the truck would attempt to swing back by at the end of their route. After picking up our daughter, on her way back to the house, (not even 20 minutes) she passed the same work truck, again leaving our street, only this time, there was no call. No text. Nothing. After that, they missed ANOTHER delivery day, and have since caused damage to one of the couches, forcing yet ANOTHER delay. It's been over 2 weeks, and we've already started paying for these couches, that we haven't even got to see yet. If you are thinking about using Ashley's online website for ANYTHING, I urge you to look elsewhere, as no one near you will tell you anything straight, and their outsourced customer service line can only tell you that they're soooo sorry for the inconvenience. It's shameful they are allowed to operate like this. Edit because, well, they're still incompetent: SO was told this morning that she would get a call in the next 48 hours regarding ANOTHER reschedule. Not even 4 hours later, she gets a notification that the couches were delivered. The Indian tech "support" said the delivery company had come to deliver the couches, but left because no one was home. This time, they didn't even give the courtesy of a "we're here" phone call. This company is a JOKE! Do not use Ashley's online delivery service, as the people responsible for getting your furniture to you do not even have half of a brain. MORE THAN 2 WEEKS WITH AN EMPTY LIVING ROOM, AND NO END IN SIGHT TO THIS BS.
If anyone's headed to Ashley's for any furniture, don't risk the 3rd party deliverance. Sad to say all the days we witnessed them break it upon both deliveries. Ouch....$1600 for a damaged brand new only bed frame ,and spring? Never again anyone. Please do yourselves this favor too. I'll be nice and day 3rd party sales for a reason... Same furniture ,only takes longer to get to you, and is not broken? Nor cost near as much $$$(Half Cost)... Hmmmm lol 3rd party since I was a kid at Furniture Outlet in Valparaiso, IN of my grandparents incase yal think this makes no sense as to why I know this information, but.... Good Luck Everyone Here.....
Friendly store service and very helpful. This was a birthday surprise for my wife…Wrong couch was delivered, with a sharpie mark on it. Customer service was not helpful and with multiple attempts/ translators could not understand them. After a month we were supposed to get the correct couch, instead they came and picked up the couch and did not end up delivering anything to us. So we are out 3k and have no couch to show for it. Can’t get any answers from anyone and they have never given us any documentation for a paper trail. I do not recommend and will never purchase from Ashley again.
We just moved to Oregon and we were in need of several couches, rugs, and a new bed. Madison was SO helpful, knowledgable, and gave us great insight which ultimately led us to picking wonderful pieces of furniture that we are so happy about. Nice selection but their warehouse is in Portland so if your at work and miss your delivery, your screwed.
Walking into a home store or anywhere one assumes commission is part of an employee's pay package, means a small degree of anxiety, and hoping not to be harassed while wandering a store. This is the first place my husband and I have ever been, where - though we're sure it's also based on commission - it didn't feel so. We were kindly and warmly greeting with a bright smile, introductions and a handshake and left to our own devices to meander the well laid-out furnishings as we sought the perfect pair of lamps. Bailey was fantastic and easily located once we were ready, and our lamps came 2 days after we left, via FedEx right to our door, despite being quoted a week later. We could NOT be more pleased with the service excellence from this store.
Bailey had helped us out for the past couple times that we have come in and she was very helpful and polite and Ashley home store has some good stuff, would recommend for some nice furniture.

The people on the store side are absolutely worth a five star rating. The delivery is why Ashley’s will be receiving a one star review. Your delivery system estimator is the worst system I have ever seen. Your four hour window is more like an 8 hour time obligation. If you are not retired make sure you can waste an entire day waiting for your furniture. If you need to call the store good luck, they appear to be unable to answer their phone.
Great In store experience!! Shipping was frustrating, expensive to do then they delayed our delivery day of to a new date.
The salesman, Nico, was most informative and helpful. I had shopped around for the right sectional and right price for the last few weeks. Ashley by far at the best price, selection and sales person. There was a special price on line and they matched it without a hassle. My friends that went with me said they will be going back soon to purchase a sectional as well.
Upon arrival I was immediately greeted by Jesse. He was warm and very approachable. I was unsure as to whether I would commit but he gave me a wide range of options. He took his time, answered all my questions, and listened to what I was looking for. He made the “couch searching” experience a lot more pleasant than I would have expected. He’s a natural! Expensive furniture that's made cheaply and breaks easily. Got a couch that lost a spring and both footrest release handles broke that were made of cheap plastic and we spent the extra money to get the extended warranty. They have yet to do anything about our open claim for several months now. Warranty is a scam and has a lot of terrible reviews on Google. Search protectall by gbs to find them. Had to buy new heavier duty handles out of pocket just to use the footrests again since the warranty is taking forever
So I spent $2,000 on some chairs. They were supposed to be delivered today. Never showed up so I looked up the Tracking , it was delivered to someone in TX !!! I live in Oregon. So upsetting just to hear I'm sorry for your inconvenience. It's $2000 I didn't buy it for some strange dude in Texas. Funny thing is they signed for it. Our names are way different. I was going to purchase a matching couch but I guess I'll be doing shopping somewhere else. They tell you to email them like they plan on helping you out. Nope I sent two emails never got a response

Almost 30 years ago we bought our living room furniture from Ashley. We were very pleased with the service and quality at the time, and still have and enjoy that set. Now we found we needed to replace our sofa and love seat in our family room. Remembering our experience, we went to the Springfield Ashley's and found exactly what we were looking for. Again, the price was incredible. And the customer service provided by Ryan and his associate Chris friendly, informative, and professional. We're so happy we returned, and are looking forward to the delivery of our new furniture. Thank you Ashley!
We purchased a sofa and recliner 2/7/24. Our sales associate (Jesse B.) was just awesome. His knowledge and friendliness were especially appreciated. We will be back this spring for a few other things. Highly recommend.
Bought sleeper sofa and new Tempur-pedic mattress. Jesse was our salesperson. He was laid back and friendly. We went in for only a sleeper sofa but because of the great deal they had with mattresses and Jesse's knowledge of the products we ended up with a great bundle! My husband and I ordered a bed on December 31st, due to the information provided by the sales person, Ashley’s does not do courtesy calls before delivering and obviously someone needs to be home, so we had to schedule our delivery for January 13th as it was the first day we could guarantee someone would be home all day. Due to the unfortunate weather circumstances our delivery was pushed back to the 18th, hen cancelled and scheduled for 19th, then either the 20th or the 21st, and we finally received it today, January 21st. When the we unwrapped the bed, one entire end is completely soaked. Ashley’s warranty is voided if there are any stains to the mattress, so we called to talk to someone and let them know, the woman sent us a claim form and then hung up on us when we were clarifying how to complete the form. This company is full of unprofessional and unorganized people, and I would not buy from them if I were you.
I bought an armchair on Black Friday, 2023 & it's been very challenging to receive a delivery date plus get any correct info at all! The store appears to rarely pick up their business phone and when they do pick up, someone will politely & irritatingly tell you that they don't know anything. I was given an incorrect delivery time when i called last week. Today is ice storm day & I called the store out of concern because I wanted to reschedule. Turns out they rescheduled for the 20th without informing me. I am very stressed out with this disorganized company :(

I purchased a sectional couch here with an additional warranty to cover any issues with the fabric. Less than 6 months in, the seams in one of the sections is completely separating. Obviously it’s a flaw because it’s not happening in the other pieces and it’s not like we sit on that one more. Regardless, the warrant apparently doesn’t cover defects. Not sure what it does cover but you would think that would be covered.
Found a treasure of extremely affordable bar stools, and Jesse was very helpful. We will return for future furniture purchases.

This is the worst experience I've ever had. Pushy salespeople, over selling what the warranty covers, run around when trying to put in a claim only to be told three weeks later the thing I claimed isn't covered. Why not say that in the first place? And why are your cheap hardware pieces BREAKING IN HALF not covered? Trash furniture that breaks after about a year and you will get told it doesn't count under the warranty. Not worth the savings.
Furniture falls apart after 1.5 years of mild use. Warranty department is impossible to deal with. I will NEVER spend another cent with Ashley it's all cheaply made JUNK

Great service and beautiful furniture at affordable prices! We were greeted by Allen and he checked in with us a few times to give us helpful information, and then we had another gentleman (unfortunately didn't catch his name!) Who helped with the check out process and he was able to give us a discount on delivery (they will set it up for you as well) even though we live 30 minutes out of the city. He also was able to get us the 5 year protection plan for alot less than the original quote (which all furniture comes with a 1 year warranty already!) It was a great experience. I almost bought a couch online but I'm SO glad I decided to check out Ashley furniture first, so excited for our comfy couch/chair!!
I was skeptical about Ashley. Their prices are up there and I don't like feeling pressured to buy. I was greeted at the door and left alone. The furniture is so freaking nice there! I found just what I was looking for right away, no pressure. Asked for a deal on it and was offered a great price with no hassle. So excited for my new bed!
I was told that only a complete order would be delivered, so I've been waiting for my new sectional since June 9th. When the delivery arrived, it was without a love seat. Today, the second delivery date was canceled. I'm now planning a third delivery date for my love seat. • Very frustrated with the terrible delivery service and the unreliable communication. I've taken time off of work now three times to accommodate these delivery appointments.

We have bought furniture from Ashley Furniture before and have been reasonably satisfied. That was about 10 years ago. This summer we bought a TV console. It's a nice style, a little retro. The color was advertised as walnut but it was a bit more like cherry, a little more red-brown. We asked if we could return it. They said yes, but we would have to pay shipping. The console was just over $500. Shipping would be $250. It was still in the box. They couldn't let us take it to the local store? Anyway, buyer beware: make sure you are dead set on your selection or you'll be stuck with the product or with shipping costs if you try to return it. We will not be buying anything from Ashley again based on this return policy.

We ordered a table set from gateway and it got pushed back 5 times and , Was to get the whole set today and only got the chairs. Was told the table will be there tomorrow. I have never worked with unprofessional furniture store that pay other people to deliver your stuff like they do. And not call before showing up ! They sent a text and said 2:30 till 5:30 pm delivery time and got there at 1:59 pm and no call to me. Had to have Neighbor sign for the chairs and he ask where table was and they said they will bring it tomorrow , After we told them not to bring the set separate. People can't take time off for delivery's on there time. The delivery people are not very friendly. I will never buy from Ashley's Furniture again.

Purchased a complete living room set (sofa, love seat, coffee table and two end tables). Also paid $200 their “white glove” delivery service. Problems with the delivery that occurred today: 1) was given literally 5 mins notice before they arrived when was assured I would get 30 minimumP; 2) Legs of all three tables were installed improperly. When I told them it was wrong, they argued with me saying it was correct. After a few mins of this, they realized the assembly was in fact wrong and re-assembled the tables; 3) once they left, I noticed a bunch of trash in my front yard (styrofoam and plastic) that they left behind which I had to chase down and pick up as it was blowing around in my neighbors’ yards; 4) I submitted a survey reflecting the poor service after which I received a phone call from one of their customer service leads. I related my problems with the delivery. The only feedback I received was the the details would be shared with the warehouse. I asked if I could be refunded the delivery charges given the poor service and told to call the store directly as there was nothing she could do. This was our first, and only now, experience with Ashley. Terrible.

I had a good experience at the Ashley Furniture store in Springfield, OR. The saleman was friendly and knew where the items I wanted were located very quickly. He gave me all the information I needed about my selections so I felt comfortable in purchasing them. Everyone was friendly and made my experience shopping at Ashley's worth giving them 5 stars.

I purchased two recliners and Thomas was excellent sales person. He explained everything about the chairs and help take care of all the papper work for payment and setup deliver. That's where my issue is. I purchased the chairs 3-21-23 and was told I wouldn't get them delivered until 5-9-23. It should never take over a month to receive good you purchased. I've always bought Ashley furniture but no more. A day or even a week is reasonable to receive your purchase, but a month is rediculous.
Ashley's store had beautiful furniture to choose from. Isaiah was a very friendly, helpful sales person! Isasiah made the shopping experience very pleasant for us. We will definitely look to this Ashley store for future furniture. Everyone was nice & helpful. Great store! Have Blessed days! :)

Cheap garbage. Bought a sectional sofa from here and its incredibly cheaply made out of the flimsiest OSB ever to be glued. Not only that, but the cushions, which the owners manual says to flip over to lengthen thier life are only upholstered on ONE SIDE. The other side of the cushion is a slick black nylon, so they've cheaped out on the materials to the point that you can't even follow the owners manual. And for the $2000 this couch cost a total waste of money. Don't waste yours on this made-for-the-dump trash.
I purchased a bed from Ashley’s online. Upon setting it up, it didn’t look anything like the picture online. It was also horrible quality. I called within the 72hr window to return the item. They told me they would arrange pickup and told me I can’t drop it off at the store when I offered. I called back the next week and that’s when they told me they needed pictures of the item sent to them. I don’t know why they didn’t tell me this the first time I requested the return. I sent the pictures in and my return was “approved”. They told me I should be getting a call from a pickup company. It’s been over a month now and I’m yet to hear anything. I keep calling them and I get the same run around every time. I have now had three separate employees tell me either their manager or they will call me back. Even though I keep calling, I am yet to receive a phone call… it’s been over a month now. Never purchase from this company. I will be making sure my friends and family boycott this company as well.

Horrific delivery service…put bedroom sets in wrong rooms and blamed me for it. Left without moving sets into correct rooms and without putting anything together. Damaged brand new house and left all of their boxes behind.

This was the second time buying a couch here and will definitely be the last. They force you into delivery, and then have third party guys drop off your stuff and show no care for your new furniture. The guy literally dropped my couch out of the truck. Worst service ever.
Worst shopping experience ever. We ordered a bed frame, tempur pedic bed, and a sectional sofa. The sales staff was friendly and our items were delivered at separate times. Based on the measurement of our living room, the sectional we wanted wouldn't fit based on what was in the showroom. The sales rep suggested we piece it together out of wedges and armless chairs so it would fit based on our dimensions (we've never owned a sectional, so we thought this was reasonable). I asked about the return policy and we were told that we could cancel anytime up to 48 hours before shipping and then enact a return within 72 hours of delivery. Turns out we were told wrong information; once we sign for an item it can longer be returned, only exchanged, per company policy (which I didn't find out until after delivery and speaking to the store manager). A day or two after we placed our order (Oct 1st), I called to cancel the tempur pedic bed due to budget. Since we financed on the Ashley card they said this wouldn't be an issue, and it wasn't - we weren't charged for the bed. When the bed frame was delivered it wasn't complete; the factory sent us a California King frame (what we ordered) but with queen sized slats. It took another two weeks to get the correct size slats sent, which meant my wife slept on our old couch while I slept on the floor for 14 days (no sense of urgency or concern from the staff when I presented this scenario to them). When the sectional sofa was delivered it wasn't a finalized looking sofa since it wasn't modular, which I didn't find out until after delivery (the upholstery on the sides/front of the wedges doesn't match the armless chair). I should mention that the delivery team had very minimal English skills and I found it difficult to communicate with them. Eventually, I wanted them out of my house so I signed for the sofa thinking I could return it. There is more to the story, but ultimately I had to go into the store to talk to the store manager to get a return initialized on the sofa after showing pictures of what this thing looked like - an incomplete sofa. They refunded the amount, however, I found out a month ago that I still had a balance of nearly $1000 on my Ashley card when there shouldn't be. Turns out, the 5-year protection plan ($300) was never refunded, and the original delivery charge of $600 for both the sectional sofa and tempur pedic bed was never readjusted down to just the delivery cost of the sofa. I've had to follow up with them several times to get this taken care of by calling and going into the store (I live thirty minutes away from the store, so it's highly inconvenient for me to drive in). Just about each time I call something doesn't get resolved, which results in me driving into the store to get things handled. I've been dealing with this since November and it's now February, so this is utterly ridiculous. This has resulted in me accruing interest on the Ashley card charges due to their negligence. This is not a considerate way to do business and definitely does not instill confidence for repeat purchases. The corporate office needs to provide proper training and empower employees to actually take care of their customers so they can have pleasant experiences to come back and make future purchases. There is a trend of store employees not knowing accurate information about policies (I literally had 3 employees tell me drastically different things about the same issue/policy). I will never give Ashley my business again. The smaller furniture stores in the area provide much better service and much better quality furniture. *Update 2/22/23 - I just got my bill on my Ashley credit card that is due in three weeks and the charges I've been told would be reversed still haven't gone through. This is outrageous. I'm tired of being lied to by the staff who keep saying "We apologize, we'll get it taken care of." If things don't get sorted out soon, my only recourse will be to take them the small claims court.
If I could give ZERO stars, I would! I ordered a dining set online, paying extra for assembly, only to find out assembly is only for the table. Also, there was nothing on the website stating the dining table was not in stock, my delivery has been pushed back 3 times! Not happy!
I called Ashley furniture in Eugene to order a set of new couches. David Wade helped me over the phone since I’m not able to come to the store in person. David went above and beyond to get me the best price possible. I was blown away by his kindness and helpfulness! Thank you!
I purchased a living room table at Ashley’s in Springfield. The table delivery date kept getting pushed further and further out from the date of purchase. I still never received the table after it had almost been one year. I asked to get a refund and I was told since I have a different debit card now than the one I used to purchase the table originally that I had to go to my bank and ask for a letter from them stating that the money should be refunded to my new card. Also when we first purchased our couches at the same time as the table we were told that we were going to get 200 dollars on a debit card months later we never received it until we physically went to the Ashley’s store to discuss the matter. Lastly, the customer service I have experienced surrounding the refund and non delivery of my table was very disappointing. I will not purchase there again after this terrible experience.

I ordered a table to get delivered and put together. After what I thought was a great delivery and tipping each guy $20, I then realized they put ALL of the packaging in my trash can. I got this delivered for the simple fact that they take all of the packaging with them. I then had to dig all of it out as the trash company does not take recycling from our trash bin. I would not recommend getting anything delivered from this store.

The salesperson was fantastic, but the rest of the experience was horrible. I ordered a rug and opened a Synchrony account. It was supposed to be delivered in two weeks for Thanksgiving. Two MONTHS later, the rug NEVER arrived, nor did I receive any emails regarding the purchase. I called the store multiple times and no one answered the phone for several days. When I got through, the rug had been discontinued, had not shipped, and I was promised my account would be refunded by the manager (Adrianna) with no apology. It didn't happen and I started getting calls from the bank for late payment, which negatively affected my credit, for the rug that did not exist. After failing to return my calls, I disputed the charge with the bank. The store still owes me the $20 I put down when ordering it. I have spent over 8 hours of my life that Ashley's has stolen from my family. I feel sorry for all the salespeople who are trying to make a living. The manager should be fired.
The merchandise here is fine; good quality, priced about what you'd expect buying furniture new. However, when I came here to buy a mattress, I was very frustrated by the ways store policy seems to rely on misdirection, manipulation, and outright lies around product delivery. The options I was given for delivery were 1) Full service delivery by Ashley, in 3-4 days, for $70, or 2) Ground shipping by UPS (it was Fedex), for free - but the first estimate I was given was 7-10 days. I was on the fence, since I needed it in 7 days and didn't need set-up, and asked about pickup instead. The associate told me that picking it up at the store simply was not possible, period, because they don't have room to keep the (singular) box on site for me to pick up, even the same day it was delivered to the store. After I had asked about that and explained that I was worried about timing, the store associate repeated the above two options for delivery, but this time, they gave me an estimate of "2-3 weeks" for the free ground shipping, compared to 3 days for full service set up and delivery. I was very concerned (especially since that was almost double the original estimate), and asked for an explanation of why they couldn't ship it to me any other way or compromise on charging $70 for a full service delivery that I couldn't even use (since the frame won't be ready then). I was told that the warehouse and shipping system were just too complicated and these were my only options. At this point, I was very worried and left the store to consider my options. I wound up ordering the mattress from their online store with free ground shipping, which I would normally regret since I don't like to take business away from local associates or locations. However, the mattress arrived three days after I ordered it. The estimate the sales associate gave me was first, a minimum of seven days, and second, a minimum of fourteen days; again, it took three. This is so far off base that it seems to me that associates at this store are expected to lie about ground shipping estimates in order to try and convince customers to pay for full-service delivery whether they need it or not. This is both frustrating and entirely unnecessary. I'd much rather at least some of the money I'm spending go to a sales associate and store crew when I have to buy something new, but when store policy seems to be lying and manipulating as a matter of course, I will not go along with it.

My family and I had a great experience working with Ashley Furniture for our recent sectional purchase. Our sales rep Tiera took great care of us and made the whole process incredibly easy and smooth. Delivery was on time and everything arrived exactly as expected!
We were shopping for new furniture in town and visited several furniture stores. We went to the Ashley’s Springfield location and had a friendly associate named Tiera help us, we ended up buying everything we needed from her because she was knowledgeable, kind and spent time with us answering all our questions. Service was excellent!!
Bradley was awesome!! Didn’t pressure us into buying something we didn’t want. Just answered questions and gave us options. His knowledge was very valuable in helping us make our decision.

NOT happy with the way Ashley Furniture does business. We have purchased most of our household furniture through Ashley. A few years ago, we ordered a dining room set and purchased the extended warranty. When it came time to use it, we were told that manufacturer defects did not fall under the warranty. This was absurd and I thought we would never shop with Ashley Furniture again. We recently moved and decided to get a new bedroom set and didn't have luck at any of the other local furniture stores, so we went into Ashley and of course found a bedroom set. We were told that the dressers were on back order and they should arrive within four to six weeks. We understand that the supply chain is trying to get caught up and so we ordered the set anyway. We purchased our furniture in July and received the bed and two nightstands. We then received a text saying that our dressers would arrive in September...but a few days before delivery, we were told that they were delayed again and would come in October. They were supposed to arrive October 10th. Then, a few days before October 10th, I received a call stating that they were delayed again until October 26th. I wrote down the delivery date but went out of town and forgot what day they were coming and wanted to be sure to be home for the delivery. When I called to find out the day and time, I was then told that the dressers wouldn't be here until November 18th!!! That will have been 4 months since we ordered and I don't understand how you can say you're delivering something and then all of the sudden...it's on back order AGAIN? This is VERY unprofessional and this WILL be the last time I trust Ashley Furniture to do business with!

I loved shopping with Tiera! From my first phone call asking about a particular furniture set to the time I purchased what I was looking for and walked out the door she was extremely helpful without being annoying about it. She also went above and beyond to get me a good deal/discounts as I was spending a significant amount of money replacing living room and bedroom furniture. If I need more furniture, I'll go back to Ashley's and specifically ask for Tiera.
We just left the store in Eugene. Dante was the gentleman who helped us with selecting our new living room furniture. The experience was so great. Dante showed us items and help us with our decision. Nothing like going to the homestore to find a product you will never regret purchasing. Outstanding in store service. The only downside is the warehouse has a lot of orders so the staff cannot tell you delivery date. They need to have some type of feed from the warehouse set up. Took over two weeks to deliver. But i have the product in my grasp.
Very poor quality for an Ashley store. Their rep tried selling us a broken recliner saying nothing was wrong with it. Sorry, but the feet are supposed to stay up when you recline it

Customer service is very difficult to get a hold of and it seems you can't call the number and actually speak to the folks at my local store. I ordered a certain style of chair because the same clerk checked and said it was in stock. But it was not available until more than a month later. Only 2 of the 3 ordered arrived even though I was told they don't ship partial orders. Now I'm told I have to wait 48-72 hours to hear back from customer care. But where in the world is my chair?
Extremely inefficient staff. Took us 4.5 hours in store just to select a couch and dining set, of which 2 hours went into finding which items are in stock after multiple back and forths and then another 2.5 hours for billing. Absolutely insane. With 4 staff working with us. We were left by ourselves lost in the store waiting for an attendant for 30 mins before we had to ask someone else to help us find items in stock. After all this and placing the order, we get a call the next week that the whole shipment is delayed by 3 months because the placematss for the dining set were out of stock. Despite confirming all items in stock on the date of purchase. So we went into the store and changed the colors of the mats which made our delivery possible as scheduled. We even confirmed all other items arriving on time. Despite this on the day of the delivery they didn’t deliver the area rug that came along with the dining set. We weren’t informed even. Only after we realised we called them and they said it will come end of October. This was ridiculous because we spent 3 hours finding items in stock, the only reason we bought those items, then go back to the store next week to confirm all the items delivery as scheduled and suddenly it’s out of stock again. Just the worst shopping experience. They have great deals but there is no use with a ridiculous system in place. I do feel for the employees since they are doing what they can, but the system the company has placed is absolutely inefficient and not dynamic in any way.

I ordered a living room set in April. It's on an "extended" delay due to "covid". No communication on updates to the order are being communicated in any way or form. I have to call every time and get bounced back and forth to get the answer of it being pushed back yet again. All in all, just don't unless you can take it home the same day.
This was an absolutely horrific experience and I will never do business with Ashley’s again. It started with an estimated delivery of 8-12 weeks which turned into 6 months with no communication. They never through out the process called for updates as promised. The first delivery was a disaster. They didn’t have hardware for the bed and left it piled all over my bedroom. They didn’t bring all the furniture that was supposed to be delivered with no explanation as to why. The delivery guys did not speak any English and couldn’t communicate about what was happening at all. They forged our signature signing off on the delivery fraudulently which we were then told voided any way for us to make sure our product was satisfactory. When I called customer service they were extremely rude and offered no resolution. I then spent two hours in the store where their management was not able to help and promised a follow up call that did not come. We finally received all items and the bed is extremely damaged.
Not even sure where to start with this review. First we were “promised” that we would have out furniture in a few weeks when we moved and that it was “in the warehouse”….. that was two months ago, we just got the furniture today. The furniture was on back order, that wasn’t the only thing our salesperson lied about. I asked about the delivery and was told “it wasn’t a problem” that they deliver to certain areas on certain days and They have to drive right by me. After checking my bill there was a $250 delivery charge that we never discussed. That may be on me for not checking my bill but the fact that I was told my furniture was already in the warehouse so I sold my furniture then had to wait two months to get it was enough to make sure I’ll NEVER do business with Ashley again, and whenever I tried calling the store I purchased it from I’d never get a answer, I’d call customer service and they couldn’t do anything except tell me sorry and they understand my frustration. Don’t waste your time or money here
Do not purchase anything from the physical store, go online (you'll get a better price as well.) Update: Ashley called (May 23) to tell me they could get my table to me but we had already purchased another table. It made me wonder (no evidence, just a supposition) if that was why my table was repeatedly delayed, that others had complained and the store had "pulled some strings" and my original table was somewhere else. Anyways it's been 3 weeks since cancellation and we STILL have not received our refund. Will have to physically go into the store to ask for it. ______________________________ (Original Review) I understand that 'supply chain issues' have slowed everything down, but the complete lack of communication is unacceptable. We ordered a table in October (with premium 'white glove' delivery) and were made aware that it might be delayed until April or May, a long time but fine. In May, when I hadn't heard from anyone I called support and was given a delivery date of May 5. By May 4 no-one had called or emailed so I used the online chat feature (so I could print a written record) and was told that the table would not arrive to the warehouse until May 20 but someone would be in touch to schedule the delivery within 7 days. No word from anyone. Today (May 20), I used online chat again, and was given June 21 as the date the table would arrive at the warehouse (so no idea when it might actually get to our house). I have requested to cancel the order and get a refund... we'll see how long that takes. At least the other local furniture stores have gained a customer, because I will NEVER shop at Ashley again.

What should have been a simple transaction took well over an hour! That combined with the irritating fact that you can't leave the store with a product and have to wait up to an additional 12 weeks to receive it. Here's an idea; don't advertise a product unless it's in the warehouse ready to ship.
My Husband & I went to this store to pick out a couch for our new home. We were assisted by Kain and Andrew. Both were knowledgeable, friendly, and patient with the many questions we had. They provided excellent customer service, and were able to help us rest easy knowing we had chosen the perfect place to find our new couch.
One of the worst merchants I've done business with. Under no circumstances would I ever recommend Ashley. Their service is non existent, their staff are untrained and their product (if you actually receive it) is overpriced. Run - don't walk - to any other furniture store.
We visited the store on May 5th looking for a two person recliner for our motor home. While we didn't purchase anything, we were very impressed with our helpful salesman, Andrew. He spent a lot of time with us trying to figure out what might fit in our limited space. We highly recommend this store due in part to their excellent selection and fair pricing, but in particular to Andrew and his friendly service.

The sales guy was awesome. They said it was in stock but it wasn't. They have given us 4 different delivery dates and ones again it was suppose to be delivered today but wasnt.im at my wits end. We are never buying from Ashley's again.
I bought a a sectional sleeper, love seat and coffee/end table set. The table set came broke never received replacement. My sofa sleeper broke within 4months and the scheduled appointment they never showed up to fix it and didn't get a phone call. They have the worst costumer service. Save your money buy somewhere that cares about their costumers and not just their to make money.
My salesperson was slammed with multiple customers but was very efficient and was able to still make my purchase quick and easy. The store is also. Very well put together in comparison to other stores I shopped at that day. Good work Ashley team.
I live 62 miles from the store. In order to buy a $700 loveseat I would be forced to pay $250 to have it delivered by a Ryder truck. Beyond that they forbid me from picking up the item myself. I will never shop or recommend Ashley again.
The worst expierence ever. They will lie to you about the delivery dates and then keep changing them. I ordered my living room set back in November and I still dont have my stuff. They told me 8 weeks in the store. It is now the end of February. Its been 3 months. Also they sent me the wrong rug. Its been a complete nightmare. Ive taken days off from work to recieve shipments and they didnt come. Again I was supposed to receive my furniture today and they arent coming.

Horrible experience, terrible quality, zero accountability and absolutely embarrassing customer service. They will trick you into buying a couch you didn't prefer, tell you you can get it soon and sell you a $900 warranty that is supposed to cover everything. Instead they schedule and reschedule 4 or 5 times, let you wait a month then reschedule just before its supposed to show up and drag it on 4 months and still waiting. You will get a couch and sit in it for 2 weeks and the dye will transfer from your blanket making it look years old, then make a claim and have some clueless guy show up 3 weeks later. He tried wiping with a cloth he borrowed from me and obviously it didn't work so he said there's nothing he could do said it was from wear and tear and not covered under warranty. Every person you talk to tries sending you somewhere else and like robots say I'm sorry sir but there's nothing I can do. I am not someone that is hard to please. This particular store in Springfield at the gateway mall is full of crooks.

Purchased a living room set from Ashley's mid November 2021. I got half of my order a month later. The other half was supposed to come a few weeks later. Come to find out they were pushed out until April of 2022. NEARLY A HALF YEAR FROM THE PURCHASE DATE! The only reason we found out it was delayed is because we waited at home on the delivery date and they simply didn't show up. We went to our local store in Springfield Oregon to try to talk to them since you can only contact the call center via phone. They let us switch to a less desired coffee table than we wanted, and told us it was at the wear house and gave us a delivery date of 2/7. Still obnoxious, but we went with it because we had to. I just checked in with them to make sure my order wasn't delayed again since you have to check, because remember... the only way they notify you is by simply not showing up on the delivery dates. They notified me that I now have a new delivery date for the end of March. I can nearly guarantee that the date will get pushed out again I can't believe these people haven't had a lawsuit filled against them. DO NOT SHOP AT HERE. I spent a lot of money here and arranging these deliveries took so much time over a span of 5 months before finally having all of the items. The final item was a large wall hanging delivered by ups in a closed cardboard box. Opened it and one of the corners was broken off. Hauled this huge piece to the store and then they would not even trash it for me I had to struggle hauling it out and loading it in my car, and then go to the dump and pay to throw it out. They Said there were no returns or exchanges for delivered items and it was in the contract I signed. It was delivered in a closed box nearly 8 months after I ordered it! I will never buy another thing at Ashley furniture. Very disappointed in the process and more importantly the horrible non-existent customer service.

I was super disappointed with this store. I called in about a specific couch that they didn’t have in stock. A sales person told me they had similar things at a similar price in store. However there wasn’t a single couch within 900$ of the other couches price. It would have been nice to know they didn’t have anything even remotely close to what I was looking for before I drove all the way to the store. I’d recommend going anywhere else.

This is not a review for this specific store but just my experience with Ashley and ordering online. I ordered a sectional couch in July 2021 to be delivered within 8-14 weeks (mid October). I was SO excited, we have a large family and with the kids getting older a single sofa isn't cutting it anymore. I have wanted a sectional forever, I love how big and homey they are, and how there is space for everyone. And the sectional I found at Ashley was perfect for our family so I didn't hesitate to purchase it. Anyhow, I called customer service 2 weeks ago to check on the status as I have not heard ANYTHING from Ashley and it had now been 16 weeks of waiting. I was transferred to what I assume was the warehouse where I was told they didn't have any in stock and oops they goofed, but would make one and send it out, I should have it delivered November 4th. We rearranged our whole living room and thankfully I stopped my partner from trashing our current sofa because we still don't have the sectional. I called again this morning, as I was assured by the person I spoke to, two weeks ago, it would all be delivered by yesterday, November 4th. This morning, they assured me one half would be delivered next week, the 8th, and the other half on the 13th and that there were no notes in my account about the couches being delivered November 4th. Needless to say I canceled my order. This business is a joke. Ordering online has been a nightmare. I'm upset and frustrated with this company and will no longer do business here.

Worst customer service I've ever dealt with. I've talked to the only customer service people probably over 20 times to get an issue dealt with. I've dealt with rude associates and associates who don't know how to do anything. I've even talked to escalations and they were rude and didn't handle the situation. I've never been more disappointed in a business. I will never use Ashley's again. Terrible material that they use to make their furniture. They don't take responsibility for their rude associates. Take your business elsewhere.
I have always been happy with the thousands of dollars i have spent but this last time they dropped off our dresser but failed to install the knobs on the doors but know problem except one was crossed threaded . That is where problem begin i've been to the store 3 times to get a replacement knob the last time i was treated like i was nuisance

Bought furniture 6 months ago still have not received it they gave me $100 back on my order over a month ago then I called today which is September 7th 2021 it's going to be another month every time I call they literally just tell me they're sorry there's nothing they can do and at this point I can tell you they are selling furniture to people that they can't give you I asked the lady I said how much longer am I going to have to wait I don't know ma'am I'm sorry there's nothing I can do nobody will help us get our furniture we're going to start shopping around somewhere else and get our money back cuz I'm tired of waiting and getting no answers and no help!!!!! First time experience buying new furniture out of Ashley's furniture and it was the worst experience I've had ever worst furniture store ever to go to at the gateway Mall!!!!!!

Absolutely the worst experience with any store ever. Disorganized, unprofessional, terrible customer service and we were lied to. Bought 2 sofas, a reclining chair a very expensive mattress and adjustable platform. Spent a little over 9k. First delivery was left in boxes on our porch. My girlfriend was home, recovering from back surgery and so my son helped bring them In. It was the sofas and we had to assemble them. One was defective and needed to be returned. They told us that since we accepted them they were our problem. After going into the store and raising a huge fuss, they agreed to send another. This time the movers put them together. Exact same defect. The movers spoke in Spanish not realizing my girlfriend also speaks Spanish and she caught them lying to dispatch, saying we were ok leaving the defective product in our house. We finally received the third sofa and it works. As for the bed and frame, still have not received it and nearly 3 months after purchasing it we have received zero information about it. We have called, looked on line and everything else we can do. The employees can not find the order. Every time we call it’s a minimum of 30 minutes on hold just to be told by whoever finally answers they don’t know anything. There is more but I’ve gone on too long. We do like the furniture we have received but the ordeal of just getting it here is not worth it. I would never purchase anything from this company again Update: received our adjustable frame and mattress today. The adjustable frame doesn’t work. They said we had to accept it, a technician will be out to look. They then called us and said they could get to it in two weeks. This a a frame we paid over $2500 for. I demanded someone come today and they said they will try. Now my fear is that in two week they will say that since we slept on it, it’s not their problem. Also, they told me they would take away the old mattress. The delivery guys said that’s not in the order and they won’t take it. This store is an absolute joke. Their merchandise is terrible, everything they delivered has shown up damaged. The customer service is terrible. Very poor service! I’m a new buyer for my new apartment and was given false information, and rude employees. I just canceled the order better doing that then being treated poorly.
We went to Ashley at Gateway mall, last year, to buy a mattress. Told the salesman that I was pregnant and needing something practical and comfortable that will last. Typical salesman tried selling us the most expensive mattresses even though we told him our budget was 1000. I ended up going off on my own and finding my own mattress that was on sale and exactly what I needed. Then it was time for a bed frame. I asked for a heavy duty steel platform frame, something sturdy and plain was all I cared about. I’m again, salesman didn’t listen, kept trying to get us to buy these expensive adjustable frames that were double what the mattress cost…..kept telling me how good the adjustable bed would be for my pregnancy! They had no basic platform frame in the store, so we ordered one from them that was to be delivered in 5 to 7 days. The little liar stood there and told us how great of a deal we got, the mattress has a 10 year Warrant and the frame had a lifetime warranty! The frame didn’t come when it was suppose to, every time I called the store, I got the run around. When we were in looking to buy stuff, everyone in the store was our best friend and wanted to be so helpful, but once we left and didn’t buy the more expensive stuff they all tried to sell us on, they couldn’t remember us or anything they told us when selling us merchandise. Now, 13 months later, this sturdy bed that we made such a good choice on, the one that had a lifetime warranty…….the welds on all the bottom legs have come off and the frame is trash. I called, got passed all over, finally got sent to some corporate office who didn’t even know where Springfield, Oregon is, told me I was misinformed, and because it was shipped to me, it only had a 1 year warranty and I need to purchase a new frame! I’m just over Ashley and their cheap furniture that is way overpriced!
While the salesperson at the store was great to work with, there were several pushbacks for delivery of our orders. When we finally got our bed, the headboard was trashed. I observed the delivery drivers drop it off the back of the truck and look over to see if I saw anything. Of course, I filed a claim and they exchanged the headboard within a few days. Upon putting the bed together, I found more damage on the side rails (separate box). Both times dealing with customer service, they were great to work with, however, the call center was very noisy and I had trouble hearing the employee. I asked them to repeat their self at one point and they replied that they hadn't said anything and it was the person next to them. We are returning the entire bed and looking elsewhere. Not worth the risk.

Truly Disgusting. Save yourself!! The lack of professionalism in this place is a nightmare. They sold me a insurance plan that’s fraud. Then, when I asked them for help they deny responsibility. This is a gross business. Stay away.
Worst customer service! You can’t get ahold of anyone in the store over the phone. So you have to go to the store to get help because the customer service line can not help with anything. I was lied to and charged for things I specifically said I did not want. Very disappointed! I want my money back. People warned me how awful this place is. I should have listened to them.

We bought furniture from four local stores in Eugene and Ashley Furniture is the only one that led to a 7 month wait and everything we have received so far arrived damaged and required an additional wait. I feel like I paid a lot of money for a "manager's special" set and waiting 7 months makes me feel that we overpaid by a lot. They also never call me to schedule deliveries when they say they will. The two stars is for good delivery people and the furniture selection. To sum it up, we're happy with the furniture but super unhappy with timeline and customer services post purchase.
The store its self was pleasant but the floor sales reprocentives were very pushy and didn't really give me and my wife any real time to look at what/for we were there for before they were right back on top of us asking us if this was the one we wanted going into all the "extras" that we could also get. We ended up just walking out without anything
Although this location didn’t have what my husband I were looking for, the customer service was excellent and they recommended we look online. We did and found a couch we loved - we selected the set up option with delivery and it was delivered today by Brandon and his brother from Troutsville, OR - they were so friendly and fast. We are very thankful for them and happy with our purchase!
My husband and I purchased a couch and a new dining table online in March. Our table was delievered on March 5th. The table itself came damaged, and the leg of one of the chairs was broken. I called immediately and they said a technician would be coming out to look at the table, and the replacement parts for the chair would be mailed out. Come the following week I still had not received any email confirmation. I called again and was told the parts were never ordered, and they would be ordering them. The following week I called again and was told the parts still were not ordered and they were back ordered. Also the technician would not be able to comd until July. I was transferred several times to several differwnt "supervisors".The table was finally exchanged, but even the new table has come damaged. They said they would be replacing it, but 4 hours and a lot of misinformation laterI still have a damaged table and it has mot been replaced again... I have spent over 6 hours on the phone. Had the most horrible amd extremely rude customer service we will never order from Ashley Furniture again. I would caution anyone before ordering.

I ordered a kitchen table set. The online experience was good. I got the delivery today, and they left my package on the side walk, and when backing up to drive off they ran into my $600.00 basketball hoop hard. They didn't stop to get out, or appologize at all. My basketball hoop now has scratches all over the glass. It almost broke. Then I call the customer service line to let them know, and the lady wasn't very friendly, and put me on hold 10 minutes after already holding in the first place for 15 minutes. I just hung up. I will never shop at Ashley Furniture again, and I will tell everyone I know the experience I had. I am really surprised with all of this. Really what if that was my car. That is considered a hit, and run. Maybe I just got unluck today, but that ruined it for me on all future purchases.
I came in today ready to spend money on a new bedroom set and the sales person was pretty unfriendly and didn't take the time to get to know me or find out what I wanted. Most of the workers were on their phones. I ended up going to another store with very friendly customer service and spent even more than I planned but am very happy with my purchase.

DO NOT SHOP AT ASHLEY FURNITURE This is why- If I could put less stars I would. These people do not care about you, they only care about their commission. My wife and I were only in the store for a bed. Then this slimey salesman named Ollie spent 20 minutes practiacally forcing us to lay on the Tempur Mattresses. He would not leave my wife and I alone to talk. When he finally left for a moment we tried to make a break for it and somehow he found us again, he then proceeded to tell us we don’t need to go home to think about it, he’s going to run us for a credit card, and he’d already done the math on how much monthly it was going to cost us to get the mattress, the fancy pad that raises and lowers, and this couch that we were supposedly getting for a great deal. We are in our early 20s and didn’t know how to react to this so we went ahead with it. Since then we have noticed that items Ollie said were “included” with our purchase were actually included in our monthly cost that he had already worked out. Instead of taking that price off he proceeds to give us gift cards to the store (WHICH WE WILL NOT BE SPENDING) He is an absolutely scummy salesperson and this is coming from someone who works in sales. On top of all this he promised us $500 in rebates which we have not heard of or seen, and after countless attempts to talk to customer service and getting passed around from person to person I am absolutely over this. Our ottoman was supposed to be arriving in early December and keeps getting delayed, only no one tells us it is being delayed- we have to find out by calling and texting this awful establishment. Now we find out this morning that our ottoman is not going to be here until March. The fact of the matter is I will not spend any money here and I will urge everyone I can to AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS.

I wish I had checked reviews before purchasing a new couch at Ashley’s as I’m now seeing so many others with similar issues. We purchased a couch in mid-December of 2020 and had been told that we could expect the delivery by January 9, 2021. We sold our couch on Craigslist to be picked up at a future date on the 8th and just expected to go one day without a couch. We received a phone call on the 7th (a little late to say the least) saying that Ashley’s would not be able to deliver our couch until the following weekend. A little disgruntled, we said “okay” and prepared for a week without lounge furniture. We received another call the following Thursday explaining that we would not be expecting the delivery for another 2 weeks or until the end of this month. My experience is like many others with the same delivery issues; I’ve called and it seems like I just get directed to hang up and try a different number. Im done with waiting on hold and being redirected to the next employee who doesn’t give a damn. Hopefully we receive the correct couch without damage (though reading others’ reviews is not all that comforting) and can finally move on from Ashley’s for good.
My wife and I went here to buy a couch. After taking over a month to get here and the manager told us the couch came apart so it would fit through our door once it arrived to our door the people that delivered it said it didn't. While the loaders where packing it up they called my wife a few words not only that my neighbors heard them and said something. After that we drove to the store to complain. They gave us a $100 gift which later we found we couldn't use on our stuff.... We had to end up buying chairs that fit through our frontdoors because the movers didn't want to walk items to the backdoor. One of the chairs now make a sound a few weeks in. Good thing we have a warrenty.
If you are looking for furniture or just decor for the interior Adriana Martinez is the lady to go to there! She wasn’t pushy at all ... let us do our thing but was close by Incase we had question and once we got ready to purchase she gave some awesome recommendations that turned out way better & still in the price range we wanted!! RUN AWAY!! Worst customer service I have every seen. We ordered a lot of furniture, waited 3 months for delivery, got a call the day before saying they were pushing delivery out to the next weekend, waited all day the next weekend, no one ever showed. Turns out they rescheduled to the following weekend (3 weeks past original estimate). Then our couch came and it was the wrong set up, the chaise was on the wrong side. Upon telling them that, they took it back and said it would be another 3 months to get the correct one, we asked customer service if we could keep the incorrect one as we would not have a couch otherwise and they said absolutely not, we would have to pay for 2 couches if we did that. I called customer service again and was told I had to call the store, called the store they immediately hung up on me after a 20 minute wait. I drove down there, waited 15 mins at the front for someone to even acknowledge me then was told that it was ordered and input correctly but the warehouse messed up and loaded the wrong couch. They said they would see/when if I could replace it and call me by the end of the day and of course they never called. So after 3 months and over 2k, I still do not have a couch, a refund or anyone who cares to find a solution. No apology, no sympathy, no offer to get something sooner/rush delivery. Very disappointed and will never shop here again.
DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY HOME FURNITURE STORE. This company and the customer service at my local store are TERRIBLE. They have continuously screwed me over and have done nothing to fix their mistakes. Last straw... They deliberelty delivered damaged dressers and nightstands to my home. The items were not damaged in delivery, the boxes they were in were in perfect shape. No, they purposfuely boxed completely damaged furniture and tried to deliver it to me. I'm talking about misshapen smashed furniture. Not like it only had a scratch or something. Now they are making it impossible to get my refund in a timely matter and telling me it could take up to 2 MONTHS to receive my money back. Absolutely terrible! If I could give them negative stars on this review, I would.
They won’t return anything, even if you bought the previous day and haven’t received it yet. Also they charge for delivery no matter how much you spend. I would never buy from there again. Furniture manufactured after purchase . Which brings quality down. Hands down the worst customer service and worst experience I’ve ever had.

My husband and I went to Ashley’s on October 2 to purchase a new couch. While in the store we found a couch that would work for our needs. The clerk (who was new) assisted us with the purchase. The couch was marked on sale at $1399. They wanted to sell us a protection package and charge a delivery setup fee taking the total to $1750. We declined the protection plan and asked about free delivery which was as being advertised all over the store. The clerk and the floor manager told us the delivery fee was for setup and delivery and this purchase did not qualify for free delivery . The couch we chose is a low profile couch in sections with throw pillows (no assembly required)... after declining again the manager said he could drop the delivery fee if we bought the protection plan. After around 10 minutes of feeling like we were on a used car lot, we said we were going to look elsewhere. It was this point the manager realized they were about to lose our business and reluctantly agreed to sell us the couch for the listed price. Another painstaking 30+ minutes, we made the purchase. The sales clerk let us know the delivery date would be November 12. Fast forward to the date in question, no couch. On November 13th we called Ashley and we were informed the delivery would be December 3. Well December 3 came and went, no couch. On December 4th today, we received 1 piece of the 4 piece sectional. After calling customer service and waiting on hold for over 20 minutes someone answered and then the phone disconnected. Try this three more times until finally reaching a representative by pressing the (make a payment) selection we were informed the other three pieces will not be delivered until February 15th... Absolutely unacceptable service. I will not be recommending Ashley’s to friends or family and will be seeking a refund. ***UPDATE*** 12/16/2020 We called and canceled the rest of the order on 12/15/2020. The representative assured us the cancellation was processed and she gave us a case number. She states that the the rest of the couch had not been shipped. She gave us a “case number” and we hoped that would be the end of this experience. Today 12/16/2020 we received a call from Ashley’s stating they could not cancel the order as it has already shipped. The representative said she could not tell us the date that it shipped and was confused why we were told it was canceled. Next stop BBB and small claims court!
I had an absolutely splendid experience with Ashley's! I was out looking for a new bed set/mattress and man, i put the salesman Rob Evan's through the ringer! That poor guy! He was a delight to work with on all my purchases and enjoyable to talk to about furniture and non furniture related things with. I appreciated his honesty and knowledge about everything i asked him and of course his patience with my indecisiveness! Everyone else i encountered at the Springfield location was great as well. Happy we went with Ashley's for all our bedroom furniture, including the mattress. Thanks again! Well be back!
Did you know that some Ashley stores are company owned and some are franchises? We found different sales at 2 different stores. The company store had by far the better sale prices.

Expensive furniture and another of dining room tables are oak veneer
I was there for a good 20-30 minutes and no one said anything to me. I walked around, I use the restroom and I found the couch that I want to purchase any been sat on it for a good 10 minutes. No one acknowledged me or asked if I needed help at all. The furniture is nice a bit pricey but I still would have liked to have had some help. But because no one even talk to me I'm going somewhere else. I went back a couple weeks later and was greeted by Giano. He was so helpful and kind! But his co-workers and the manager were outright SNOBS!!! They were rude and short. He was new and it seemed like both him and I were below them and an inconvenience..... I hope he gets a job somewhere else. I canceled my purchase last minute. The manager didn't seem to care one bit. They need new staff thats for sure!
Rob is most friendly sales rep there! He was super helpful and made sure we didn't have any unanswered questions. We bought a super sweet chair and didn't need to look at any other furniture retailer. Thanks Rob!! I'll be going back for a bed soon.
I forgot the names of the two men that helped me yesterday, but they were pretty awesome. Even honored the online price for a dining room table set. Have to say I will be shopping here again.
From day one our experience with Ashley furniture was terrible. This saddens me because the sales man Robert Evans was exceptional. Once the sale was over and everything was out of Roberts hands it went down hill. The deliveries were all messed up, it took 4-5 deliveries to get everything to our home. We were lied to about deliveries, we were told that the first delivery would be missing several pieces due to COVID. Once the first delivery got here there was even more missing, I called to talk to the store about it and miraculously they now had the pieces I was missing. Hmmm! Next delivery.... still pieces missing. Oh my lamps were to be delivered by mail. That did not happen! Called they said they got lost. Hmmmm! Turns out they were never sent. Out tables did not have the glass suction cups! Anyway all those deliveries happened over a 2.5 month period. I requested to have the delivery fee refunded. They agreed. I was told that I would see this in 30 days. Fast forward September 14th 2020. I called the store and spoke to the nice young lady Ashley! I was informed that there was no notes about the refund. This company lacks any level of integrity, I will NEVER use them again, I would not recommend anyone to use them. As for the financing I was told zero % financing and guess what! They LIED. I am charged every month on my card a finance charge that they call card security!!!! Based on the balance. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. Two good things!!!!! Our sales man Robert Evans and Ashley who took my call. Stop telling lies to customers Ashley furniture.. be honest and upfront about any obstacles and stay true to your word.
Dont buy from them Please! I spent $4500 in july and already furniture is broken and they are avoiding me. My daughter's brandnew bed and mattress are on the floor because the dont want to replace! Store manager at location in Eugene OR. will not take care of the problem just keeps hidding when asked for. I will not stop until things are satisfied. I have given them the opportunity to fix the issues and they refused! I will be filling a multi claims against Ashley furniture. I have given them plenty of time and opportunity to resolve issues DONT BUY there products they dont stand behind there own products and then they also charge you a outstanding fee for delivery. We’ve purchased many pieces of furniture from Ashley’s and we have always had a great experience. We were able to go in today and look at mattresses and find what was right for us. No pushy sales tactics and very informative. Left us to feel and choose what was going to work. They are our go-to store.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Started a warranty claim in April, and am unable to go through with it since too much time has passed because of their delays. Couch has been broken for months. Would never buy from here again.

What a nightmare!!! My fiancé and I bought over $10,000 worth of furniture, including a Tempur-pedic mattress, when we purchased our first home. During the sale, they said they had everything in stock and there would be no problem getting it all in for one big delivery on one day, with an exception of one chest dresser. The furniture that has come in was completely broken, had scratches and over a month and a half later, we are STILL missing furniture! They have rescheduled our “final” delivery date 5 times! FIVE!! They make promises they cannot keep and customer service EVERY TIME we have called has put us on a very long hold, or has been disrespectful. We are at our end with this company. They have never offered us any store credit or tried to make it up to us. They lost our business- we will NEVER go back Ashley!! We ordered a couch and coffee table from Brenners furniture in Eugene and it was a wonderful experience. They stuck with what they told us, never made promises they couldn’t keep and delivery was on point. Don’t spend your money at a company that doesn’t deliver what they say! Take your money else where!
I absolutely love the bed i bought from Ashleys BUT!!! they gave use $300 worth of gift cards for buying a $4000 bed which was awesome they said we could use them on anything in the store that wasn't on sale, so today I go to buy a rug for $199 with cards an the floor manager said no the cards can't be stacked. So im stuck with $300 worth of gift cards since I looked over the whole store an there wasn't anything in the whole store for $100. An if you get something thats less the $100 they said its only good for the 1 item your getting. So spend $50 an the rest of the card is void.

over priced. bought a 6 thousand dollar bed, first delivery oh it's broken but then they still tried to deliver it, second time they apparently set up an appointment without asking me and i told them no i couldn't be there and they tried coming anyways, then the appointment that i had made suddenly vanished no record of it, so 3 weeks later and 3 tries i still don't have my bed!!!! very upset

Ordered a table and chairs on May 6th we have called and are told they don't know when it will be in, it could be another month. We wanted to cancel and they had the nerve to say we would have to pay a 20%stocking fee. I will never buy from ashley again
I purchased two items from Ashley’s over a month and a half ago, everything from the actual purchase to the unfortunate return has been terrible! I am actually still waiting to return my items. Their app. Glitches on processing my order multiple times so I had to switch to my computer, once my order finally seemed to go through only half my order actually got purchased. I received confirmation on my end but was told by Ashley’s only one item was purchased... When I finally tech my items in 5 different deliveries from 3 different delivery companies over the span on 2 and a half weeks, I realized when trying to put my items together two of the items were extremely damaged. I contacted Ashley’s to return my items but could not speak to a representative. I have to go on the app. and text and associate which took over an hr. After finally getting my issue across I was told my item could be picked up for return in two days. Come day of pick up which I had to have my sister stay at my house all day for since they don’t give you a time, no one came to pick up my items. Ashley’s Apparently sent the UPS company the wrong address. I had to contact their online department multiple times (Every time waiting at least a half an hr to speak with someone) and after finally getting ahold of another associate two days ago, I was told my issue would be handled and my correct address was finally updated again, the associate put me on hold for a “second”, which really turned into 40min, then the line cut out. I called back waited again but was told the online dept. was closed. I received an email the next day confirmation that UPS was updated with my right address and they would pick up my items but no actual day and time was given. I work full time and live in an apartment so all items are too large to leave at my door. I called UPS yesterday and was told they never received any updated information on my items 🤦🏻♀️. My over all experience as been horrible and I will never purchase another item from Ashley’s again. *Side note Ashley’s does not allow you to bring your items to their actual local store. Their online store and local store are not the same.
My experience with Ashley's has been all online. Don't do it - even if you think you will love it - its not worth the stress. I ordered a dining table and chairs set, it came broken. After 9 days of calls/ messages left for Ashley's, I finally got a call back and they were going to send me a replacement set. Two weeks later is arrives....broken worse than the first! I am currently waiting on yet another call back from Ashley's (we are now 3 days waiting now for another call back). I am now asking for a full refund - I cant keep doing this...I still cannot believe it can take 9 days for a call back!
Sofa recliner a bought is made so cheap, foam is the worst after one month is already braking down in the arm rest, and head rest seating cushion slopes at both ends and have had a horrible time connecting with customer service, insist on coming to service and fix the problem, on a day I work, and would not change the day that I was home, I sent message though customer email, no response called left message and never considered getting back with me horrible company.. Don't believe their advertising.
We went in for the Cool-Tech mattress cover (which is AMAZING and worth the price tag!) And we were helped by Lucas. If I could give him 1,000 stars, I would. Our shopping experience was that good; we weren't rushed, pressured or anything. Not only did he address our concerns, he even helped my family who live out of state, in guiding them so they can purchase locally when they get home. He was so helpful in his recommedations, that the next day when I was having issues ordering online, I immediately thought to call him and sure enough, he was ever helpful again in getting my furniture order completed. I'm going to have to get a bigger place so I can order more stuff and see him again. What a delight!
Walked in and had my tempature taken which was great, although an older couple walked in before me and they didn't get caught to have their temp taken. I knew what I wanted and showed the salesman the name of the recliner I wanted ~ so he pointed out 2 chairs and walked away, saying he'd be right back 30 minutes when by... he never showed I finally *loudly* asked for help. A salesman, Lucas came over to help me. He was GREAT! He showed me different chairs, listened to what I wanted and why. He then got prices, colors and looked up options that were closer to what I wanted but not in the store. He found what I wanted, price matched the recliner and I was able to save hundreds! WOW!! I was doubled charged for the same product, when I tried to call the number I was on hold for well over 45 minutes and still no one answered. I called my bank they were unable to help me at the moment.

Tabitha Douglass was great. We already knew what we wanted and were about to walk out of the store when they said they would price match what we saw online.
My wife and I purchased a King bed frame, (2) Twin XL "bunkie boards", (2) night stands, a desk and a chest dresser. The staff inside the store were great to work with and the gentlemen who delivered the items were great to work with. However, the (2) bunkie boards did not arrive with the rest of the items thus we could not use our bedframe unless we purchased bunkie boards elsewhere (which we did that night and was refunded for the bunkie boards for in-store credit). Additionally, the desk had a drawer that did not operate correctly. The store sent a tech out a week later to determine we needed a part for it. Processing for the part was quoted 7-10 days. As I am writing this (3/17/2020), we are told the parts will ship 4/10/2020 and I have the option to install myself or schedule for a tech to install them (which would take a number of days to schedule). Along with this frustration, multiple handles on the drawers for the chest have scuffs and rough marks. Ashley furniture will not offer returns AT ALL. The process of dealing with customer service and trying to get Ashley Furniture to fix any of their mistakes is a long drawn out process and would spend my money somewhere else in the future. I will not recommend Ashley Furniture to my friends and family.
Andrew was amazing and very helpful! Our experience was not rushed, and he gave good design insight to help us find the right, matching sets for our home. We were treated very well with a super friendly and personable attitude. We wish all our retail experiences were this amazing!

She was very knowledgeable about the furniture, explained why we couldn’t get our recliner with a different recliner handle, was very efficient with the paperwork, explained our protection plan in detail and made the shopping experience fun. No pressure, no stress. Everybody should request Tabitha for their salesperson!

My one star review is for the wonderful sales lady that helped us she was very kind and helpful. The other empty stars are for the store managers and the company that doesn't stand behind its couches. I've had my set for not even a month and the cushions have already started to sag and the office managers responce is" well you've already almost had it for a month. You cant return it." The furniture came damaged when they delivered it. The couch the tables They said they would make it right and fix whatever was wrong. If it got worse . mind you we paid for that coverage. The lamps that came are bent sideways and the shades were stained with dirt while still in the packaging and covered in the clear covering. They said I could bring them back but I didn't have time to so that one on me. Bottom line go to rifes Ashley sells horrible low quality furniture. Your paying for walmart quality furniture. Horrible managers very kind salesmen and women and technicians though.

Sharon was very helpful! We came in quickly on a lunch break with little time and a pretty good idea of what we were looking for. She quickly absorbed what we were asking for and didn’t waste outlet time by showing us options that didn’t fit that criteria. She found a creative solution to the sectional we were looking for and immediately worked to get us the best price possible. There was no run around about pricing and she had all of the information we needed at her finger tips to show us what any of the options would do to the price. We returned 2 days later to purchase what we had looked at and she remembered us immediately. She had all of the information about the one we liked written on her business card for us so we could have talked to anyone but we asked for her and she made herself Immediately available to help. I can’t thank her enough for not wasting any time, we hate shopping and we spent less than 30 minutes total looking at and purchasing the sectional we decided on. She was great!

Today was my 2nd time purchasing for my new home. Today I bought a dining room set. Again no pressure, just superb customer service. Robert helped me today. The sales man Robert was very helpful. I'm only giving a 4 star rating because of customer service. I was told to call and confirm my order 2 days prior to delivery by Robert which would have made that a Tuesday. I ended up getting a text asking me to confirm on that Monday. So I did. As well as Tuesday and Wednesday. When I called Wednesday I was told my order had never been confirmed and got dropped. It would not be delivered for a whole other week. I was not happy with this information considering I did exactly as I was supposed to. After becoming very very upset I was contacted by a manager in customer service who was able to get my couch delivered on the original expected date which made me very happy. The delivery was quick and the gentlemen were very professional. Unfortunately they did not give me an opportunity to fully check out the furniture before they left. The seemed rushed asked for a signature and was in and out of my house in less then 25 minutes. After they left I found a odd popping noise coming from the frame. It's very annoying to sit on that area and hear that noise. Again I called customer service before the 3 day mark and have yet to get a hold of anyone. I love the sectional other than the noise. I'll continue to try to get ahold of someone. I feel I'm being very generous with the 4 star rating. Especially since Robert told me over and over again how great the frame work is on Ashley furniture is.

Had a wonderful experience. We purchased a lift chair and adjustable bed for my dad. He absolutely loves the chair and we are anxiously awaiting delivery of the bed. The best part of the whole experience was the sales associate Tiera. Small in stature but really big with customer service. We will definitely go see Tiera for any upcoming furniture needs.
Gave me a date for delivery...sorry can’t deliver it’s on back order. Set the new date a month out. Four days prior to that, sorry it’s on back order. Set a new date another month out. 2 days prior to delivery, sorry it’s on back order. Now they just rescheduled delivery for two months out. That will be a total of 4 months from the date of purchase. I guess we will see what happens. I would cancel it but I have an entire bedroom set already here and their return policy states once it arrives it is YOURS no exceptions. Also, only half of my ergo tempurpedic base arrived. If anybody is thinking about starting a furniture company the competition is not very high. Thought the service and organization would be a little better, especially for someone who just spent $10,000 in their store. Very disappointed. I will never go again nor will I recommend this entire company to anybody. Only piece of advice is, get your entire order delivered at once just in case they throw you around you have the option to back out.

We have been to this location numerous times , this was the first time it was difficult to maneuver my mother's wheelchair. Very very frustrated. I ordered a couch this weekend from the Springfield Oregon location, I requested it to be delivered on the 17th when we could have someone at the house. I got a call that said we will call you again soon so you can confirm your delivery. So I waited. I got another call the next day saying you never confirmed so we won’t deliver for another 4 days. So now I’ve paid 180$ for horrible delivery service.. having to try to reschedule being home and moving our current couch, and I waited on hold to even be talked to for 15 minutes. The only thing that was any good was the two people I’ve interacted with were nice. Other than that I don’t think I could recommend Ashley’s furniture. A big waste of 180$ just to be frustrated. And it was not an option to not pay and not have it delivered. Very very frustrated/disappointed.
I had a great experience with the staff at this store, but delivery was a nightmare. Instead of buying online, I wanted to support a “local business”, so I came in and placed my order. The only delivery option was premium delivery, so I paid for that and was told to expect my new sofa in about a week. I made sure to tell the woman I spoke with that I was in an upstairs apartment and that the sofa would need to be slid like at an angle over the stairs to the balcony because of the layout of my walkway. Mind you, the sofa I ordered was 96” and I’ve successfully had a 108” sectional delivered to this apartment before. Well, two delivery men arrive and they start measuring and telling me they’re not going to deliver the couch because they can’t. I try and tell them how I had my sectional delivered and how I told the staff at the local store this couch would need to be delivered. The delivery guy tells me not to tell him how to do his job, he’s not going to deliver my sofa. After a long talk with corporate who says they’ll tell the men to deliver if I sign a damage waiver and a million different excuses from the delivery men as to why they can’t deliver my sofa, I ask to have the couch just left outside and I’ll get it up myself. The delivery men drive away with my sofa and corporate has to call and have them bring it back half an hour later. They drop it off and leave it on the sidewalk after dragging the only end of the couch not protected by cardboard across the pavement. I, a 120lb woman, and two maintenance men from my apartment got the couch inside in like 15 minutes. It’s ridiculous that these delivery people said they couldn’t do it and refused my assistance because “I’m a woman and women aren’t strong.” (Yes, he seriously said that lol) I get I don’t look super strong and men are generally stronger but the couch was only 180lbs and that is totally not ok to say. Corporate said it was a cultural thing when I told them how sexist the delivery men were lol. Anyway, I’m being refunded the delivery fee which is great, but I never should have had to experience this in the first place. I suggest this store not use this delivery team/company in the future.

The store is stocked with tons of great furniture and employees are very upbeat and helpful. It was a great experience. Amazing sales and management staff. I could not be happier...
My husband and I went in thinking that we knew which couch we wanted. It ended up not being the quality that we were looking for so we looked at other ones. Chad was very tentative to any questions that we had and made sure to work with us on what we were looking for. We ended up with a better quality couch than we went in for, and a price we could afford! We would suggest Ashley Furniture to friends and family.
Samuel was friendly and helpful and made shopping at Ashley Homestore very easy and fun. For only being employed there for 1 month he was knowledgeable about the couches and mattress that I was looking to buy. Lucas was also very knowledgeable and helpful in this buying experience. We were looking for a reclining loveseat and couch and found just the right set. Rob Kay was helping us, he answered all our questions and gave us a quote. I warned Rob that Steven won't make a purchase today, he always sleeps on large purchases. Rob asked Steve what it would take to make a purchase today and Steve told him a price, Rob took it to the manager and the manager agreed! The price was so good that Steve agreed to buy it today! This doesn't happen, he procrastinates everything! Thanks Rob, Ryan and Ashley's!!

It took 1 month to get my complete furniture set and 4 different delivery dates. They gave me a $200 gift card to compensate my trouble and told us we can buy clearance but when we went there they said we couldn’t buy clearance and not only that it’s been two weeks and still nothing they lie a lot and there delivery system sucks

First off we walked in the door to TABITHA. told her what we wanted and she took us right to us. shes like I know what you want and sure enough it's the couch we purchased. despite dragging everyone around the store to make sure I was gor sure getting the couch I wanted.. SHE knew her stuff. Knew where everything was, what comes in what colors if any others at all, different styles, helped with configuration. She was well informed about the ashley card and every single question we had about financing she had an answer for. Bless Naomi and Ryan for staying late and super HUGE shout out to RYAN for saving us additional money in basically every aspect. I'm so excited for my new couch. I got off late and they stayed open to help me make my purchase. I HATE staying past close.... we were open all day. not these three. they were thrilled to be there helping me find a couch, helping that couch be as inexpensive as possible and ultimately make a sale. Customer service is terrible, once they've got your money they don't care anymore. Their return policy is confusing at best. They told me in the store that their physical location is a completely different company from the website, which says they have a 30 day return window if you aren't satisfied. Digging further on their website, the Homestore policy is supposed to be that you have 3 days to request a return or exchange and it needs be scheduled within 7 days of furniture delivery. However in the store they told me "once it's delivered, it's yours". The new dressers and nightstands we purchased had horrible off-gassing, it took about a month for them to not make my bedroom smell strongly of formaldehyde and I don't know even know what other harsh chemicals. You will get the run-around and be on hold if you try to speak with anyone who can help you. I just tried to get information on the phone about the part of my order that was set to arrive last week (over a month after the original order was placed) and spent 20 minutes on hold, was told they couldn't look up information on when refunds are issued, was told they would transfer the call to the Homestore I ordered at (there is no way to call the store directly yourself), and then the call was disconnected. I will never shop here again.

We had such a great experience at Ashley’s Furniture. I went in having no clue what I was looking for just looking for ideas. Zach was helping me out, he wasn’t pushy gave me space but also answered all my questions. I found a sectional I loved but needed to go home and measure. I slept on it and ended up going in the next day to purchase the sectional! It was a fast easy process and I was in and out in less than a half hour which is nice when you have a toddler ! Zach was awesome and we will look for him next time we are looking for furniture!
Zach greeted me with a friendly smile and we had some fun conversation. He kindly answered all my questions as we walked through the store. All the staff were friendly and helpful. When I made my purchase it was quick and he went through all the information in detail. Great experience!

The store matched their online price, but claimed they could only do so if we purchased a warranty. We came very close to just leaving and ordering the furniture set online. Fortunately for them, we have small children and the warranty was cheap enough to where we opted for it. Check out took a little too long. They said they were having software issues with their payment system.

I am so disappointed with receiving the kitchen table I ordered. I had a great experience in store with the sales rep. I ordered a couch and a table, paid for in full. My couch was delivered 4 days later no problem but the table was another situation. The delivery date was two weeks out. I was a little sad as I have just purchased my first home and wanted to get it furnished. My delivery date was yesterday and the gentlemen tried to leave me a table with no legs. When my father in law asked then to look for the table legs in their truck they said, it was against policy. I could take it as is or send it back. Absolutely no compassion for the fact I was hosting a dinner patty that evening and was depending on that table. After talking to customer service, my sales rep and the store manager twice I find out I cannot get rescheduled for delivery until the end of November. After Thanksgiving where I had planned to host another dinner party. Then I asked to get my money back in which I was told I have to wait 72 hours for the truck to unload and check in the table, then an additional 2-3 days to get my money back on my debit card. I’m so disappointed and do not recommend dealing with this store if you want your items in a timely manner. Cheap prices for cheap service.

Great experience. Fiancé and I walked in to look around and ended up leaving after purchasing a new dining table and sofa. An associate named Chad helped us out and gave great tips and info on our new furniture. Sales experience was easy going and not pushy at all.
Don't buy here. Return policy is terrible. Bought a coffee table set that was damaged in shipping. Got it a week later. That was fine. Didn't realize the whole thing was plastic. Wanted to exchange for better quality and pay the difference. No returns once delivered to the house. Nobody told us that. Gonna donate and by elsewhere. Never shop there again.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I bought a couch in store and have had the worst experience with delivery. I was rescheduled for delivery 4 times and I don't have my couch a month after I bought it. Had I been told delivery would take 4 weeks I wouldn't be mad, but I was scheduled for delivery a week after I paid for the couch. I paid for the couch for cash in full, but Ashley's did not live up to their end of the agreement by delivering the product as promised within the time frame they specified. I wish I had gone to another store to buy furniture and avoided Ashley's. I loved the look and feel of the couch, but getting what I paid for has been horrible.
Tiera was absolutely amazing! I would definitely choose to work with her again. She was extremely patient with us. We came back about three different times, changing our minds and then rechanging our minds a few more times. She rolled with the punches and was super understanding. She also isn’t like a typical sales person. She knew when to help us and show other option and when to let us roam on our own. Not pushy at all and saved us SOOOO MUCH money!!! I would definitely recommend her when going in to buy furniture. I actually really enjoyed my time there and we had entertaining small talk, which made the experience very pleasant when buying furniture can be a bit stressful. Thanks for all the help Tiera!!

We came in with originally not having any furniture for our new home and left with not only a full home but met an amazing person named Tiera. She was so kind and her personality shined when you talk to her. She listened to exactly what we wanted it all happen. If you ever need anything ask for her, you won’t regret it!

We went to Ashley HomeStore on a whim and it turned out to be the best day ever. We were greeted at the door and were pointed in the direction of what furniture we were interested in. The amazing sales associate, Zack, helped us throughout the day. We didn't feel pressured to buy anything right away and were walked though the whole process of purchasing if we decided to do so. Zack was truly a God-send when it came to explaining the functionality of each piece of furniture and all the different possibilities of orienting the furniture in our new home. I highly reccomend just stopping in, even if you're not sure if you're going to purchase anything. We ended up purchasing three couches. Don't forget to ask for Zack, he is the absolute best, and has a great beard.
Tiera did such a wonderful job helping us make our house a home. She was patient with us as we explored the store and found the right pieces to meet our design needs. She was thorough and detailed in her description of various furniture pieces we were interested in. She was flexible when we realized the pieces we loved would not fit in our space and helped us find ones that would. She was cognisant of our budget and helped us find ways to save on the pieces we loved. She kindly came in on her day off to ensure we were able to get all the pieces we needed. Tiera is an asset to her store and the Ashley furniture organization. We definitely plan on seeking her guidance in the future on any home furnishings we may need.
The worst experience I ever!!!!!! Took almost 3 months to get items. Had to call and go into store more than 10 different times. Issues did not get solved. Missed work 3 times to wait for a delivery that never showed up. Seriously it’s hard to believe this is allowed for them to do to people. Never ever ever go here you will regret it if you do. Can not express enough on how poor of customer service they have nobody can answer anything just send you to the next person until u are back in the store again

Liked my purchase until I was told there was a $100 delivery fee because all the merchandise was coming out of state. So I said I would pick it up at the store, they said no the furniture is delivered straight to your home. Made me mad that I didn't have the option to pick it up myself. If I could have found that piece of furniture anywhere else I would have left the store. Watch out for that fee!
I ordered multiple items that took over a month to arrive. Upon arrival I found multiple damages and flaws to a multiple items. I than schedule for a repair person to come and repair the earliest the guy could show up was Aug 17th.. That a month later from the time I called. After over a hr of the repair man attempting to fix the issues he ordered a new top for my living room table and a new kitchen table. Well got the kitchen table 2 weeks ago but still waiting on the top. It has been well over a month since the top was ordered. The repair guy said it would be about 2 weeks. I I found out today my top will not ship until oct 14th There has been no attempt from Ashley's home store to resolve this issue. I would not recommend this company. Just a fyi all there stuff is very poorly made from China. If I could return all my furniture I would.
Excellent selection and great products! However, our customer service was unbelievably great! Tiera helped us through the entire store and was full of information on every product. Helped us pick out a mattress with a headboard and ensured we were completely satisfied. The only place we are going to be picking out furniture from here on out!

The staff were very nice and super helpful and made me feel as much like home as possible!!! They didn't follow me around hovering and making me nervous by trying to push an unwanted sale on me! They came around to check on us, and told us to make ourselves completely comfortable there while shopping and to feel free to move the throw pillows aside and test the furniture out in the same manner we'd be planning on using it at home. Since I'm buying it for company only to to sit on, and for me to be able to lay down, without going to bed, and stretch out my back, laying on it was the only way to test it as I would be using it at home! So I did just as they said, and layed and sat on each sofa that I liked!!! They came along behind us, said not to worry about putting the throw cushions back neatly afterwards, they would take care of that, just leave them where I'd moved them too. I did just as they had offered and they did just as they had said, still not hovering or making me feel nervous or trying to make a "hard sale" on ANYTHING!!! They stayed at a comfortable distance, yet close enough, in case we had any questions, they were right there to answer them. They also went behind and neatly relaid the throw pillows and blankets I had moved in order to lay down and properly test the sofa for the use I inteneded it for. I settled on a sofa, rug and coffee table, the salesman James #2, wrote up the order form with the vin numbers and all the needed information for me, so I can send it off to be approved and ordered. Once approved and ordered, I won't even need to go back to the store as it will be delivered directly to my home!!! I was thoroughly satisfied with the service, politeness, professionalism, and customer service I recieved from Ashley's HomeStore, and James #2 to be precise!!! I highly recommend Ashley Home Store for furniture and salesman James #2. Thank you James #2 for your excellent customer service and making me feel so comfortable in an otherwise very uncomfortable situation for me!!! Your the BEST!!!

Horrible customer service. Tried to deliver used furniture. When I went in to schedule a new delivery they told me that because of inventory control problems they couldn't but the manager Ryan would personally call me by noon the next day...He didn't and now I don't have furniture for almost 3 more weeks.

Customer service dept saved their butts) **Let's be clear, no one knows what's going on between the stores, the warehouse and the customer service dept. on the phone @ this company. It's a hot mess (internal communication, not their strong suit.)** But, thanks to the kindness of an amazing cust serv agent i got my furniture today and i got ALL OF IT. I know this is an amazing blessing and not the story for everyone. AND, NO. . .the mgr. from the Springfield store never called like he said he would, but the office mgr. did call me after everything was delivered today, to check in. So over all, not an ideal experience. An inconsistent one at best. But in the end my furniture was only 1 day later than it should have been, if their communication game had been on point and they had taken responsibility in the store and been able to say to me it'll just be one day, this would have been such a much more positive experience. --------------------------------------------------- FIRST REVIEW: I was so very excited to buy new furniture for the first time. Sharon Plisko assisted me in several pieces, as this was all new to me. I was very specific about needing the furniture delivered ASAP. I thought that nearly 2 weeks was a bit much but agreed to delivery of all items but one which was on back order. They were supposed to call me on June 5th to schedule delivery of my items. I went by this store on June 6th to ask why I hadn't heard from them about my delivery. They produced a copy of my agreement with a delivery date of June 27th chosen, of course having absolutely NO FURNITURE in my new home I would not have agreed to this delivery date because it it nearly 6 weeks after buying my items. When going through my paperwork at home, I see that this was done by the salesperson without my knowledge and stapled to a receipt I actually signed. The paper where the delivery date actually appears was folded up and tucked in with other papers, I never saw it she handed it to me at the end after I signed everything, this is evidenced by the fact that my signature is not on this piece of paper so I did not review it. The salesperson who helped me claimed to not remember me, which is the first time THAT has ever happened, me and my crew are unforgettable . . . and of course, I got the please don't yell at me, I am trying to help you from some guy who promised to call me. Ridiculous treatment of a customer who just started a 2 year relationship with you. If I could give less stars I would.

Excellent Customer Service, great quality of home furnishings. The people that are in sales are kind, caring, and also excellent in sales. My family and I recently purchased a comfortable recliner and it's very comfortable. We got two fully furnished bedrooms sets that change the whole atmosphere of the house. I highly recommend this place if you are in need of housing furniture. They have an excellent selection of dining, bedroom, living room, children decor and much more. Let your friends know as well. Horrible customer servce. Bought a bed set 2 weeks ago and still waiting on them to deliver it. Actually, we’re still waiting on them to call us and set up a delivery time since the ONLY delivery truck they apparently have for my area broke down. Every time Ive called Ive spent no less then 10 mins and twice waiting so long they actually disconnected me. So back to my point, HORRIBLE customer service amd Im still sleepimg on the ground thanks to their lack of innovation and problem solving. Hey big boss man/woman, rent a uhaul for all this areas deliveries, get it done, make your customers happy, dont make them sleep on the floor while they’re merch sits in your warehouse waiting on one truck
I made an online purchase and paid for the premium delivery and assembly. The handlers dropped the dresser on the concrete breaking 3 of the drawers and scratching it to all hell. They said they could not exchange for a new one but that a technician had to come out and “repair” it. They also gouged the headboard. The ups shipment of the nightstands had one that had a 8” scratch down the side, which they are replacing. The icing on the cake is that they did not deliver all of the parts needed for the bed and when I called they said they would need to ship them. We have been without a functional bed for 7 days now. They keep assuring me the parts have shipped but have not offered a tracking number. My husband, daughter and I have been sleeping on an air mattress and pull out bed for 7 full nights now. Needless to say, we are tired and cranky. When I asked if anything could be done for the inconvenience I was told no. I asked for a refund on the “premium” delivery charge and I keep getting the runaround. I am likely to call tomorrow and just have them pick all this garbage up and purchase from another retailer. Dead ends and endless calls and no results. Will never ever purchase from Ashley ever again.
I will absolutely NEVER shop at Ashley’s home furniture store again, never have I ever been so unsatisfied of a company in my life. We got a full size bed from here and when it came a month later the matress was too small for the bed I immediately called the costumer service line to let them know, they told me the only option I had was to wait for a tech to come out to the house to see what was going on with the bed the next available appointment wasn't until the following month, when the date had come around the tech was “sick” & they needed to reschedule for even a further time! At this point it was 2 months later from when we first bought the bed I have been calling & calling to get someone to help with the situation we’re dealing with, NOBODY has been cooperative & finally I went into the store to let them know that I want to return the bed with a full refund and the manager again said “ill need to speak to my boss to see what we can do, we probably wont take it back since its been so long” WE put TRUST in THEM in buying a bed from their store THEY gave it to us made WRONG & doesn't want to fix or take it back!!!
My husband and I went to the store, selected our furniture, placed the order, paid in full, and paid for delivery. The delivery was scheduled to be 9 days later, which was perfect because we were having a large family gathering the next weekend. Delivery day comes....no delivery. Somehow the furniture was “lost”. After several calls, we received a new delivery date which happened to be the same day as our family event. We stressed how important it was to us to have the furniture by this day and we were assured it would be an early delivery. Second delivery date comes, we receive a text that it will arrive in about three hours. Then we receive a call that the furniture is, somehow yet again (or perhaps still?), lost. Our large family event commenced without the furniture. We were told we would receive a delivery charge refund, which we did, and we received our third delivery date. By the time we received the furniture, it was five weeks from the purchase date.....a far cry from the nine days we were promised. When we spoke to the sales rep at the store and when we spoke to the customer service folks at the 800-number, we were basically told that having lost furniture is just an unfortunate reality and we were just kind of inconveniencing everyone with our complaints. Beyond the delivery fee, we were never offered any sort of compensation even though it clearly caused us a hardship. We can confidently say that we will NEVER purchase furniture from an Ashley’s Store again, we will shop at the local competitors every time. They can’t possibly be worse.
Ordered a couch over a month ago. Try to figure out where it is, Spend hours on hold still have not seen the couch. No customer service what so ever........ If you wanna buy some furniture and not use it this is the place .you will never receive it.... I would like to give them 0 stars but Google will not let me
We are building a house and were planning to purchase a living room set from the Ashley furniture store in Springfield, Oregon. I enjoyed working with "T" to identify my future set and purchase a love seat to pick up to use now. After several weeks of anticipation, the store called that it was in. I was unavailable to pick it up before 6 so my husband, with the same last name and address, went to pick it up. He had photo ID but refused to allow the manager to photocopy it unless he was provided with Ashley's secure document storage policy. The manager refused to give him a copy of the store procedures. He offered his concealed weapons permit as a substitute, which is legal ID in Oregon. The manager refused to accept the compromise. I phoned and the sales rep, who I texted and was on vacation, also phoned and requested my husband be able to pick it up. Again, the manager refused to cooperate. My husband asked that his purchase be refunded. Which is was, which amazes me. Give him the money but not the loveseat? We will not purchase the loveseat, living room set or anything else from Ashley furniture. The store manager has set a new record in customer service; the worse that I have ever experienced. I should have read the 1 and 2 star reviews carefully before I went to Ashley's. The owners response is especially telling when they thank the dissatisfied customer for the 5 star review, which is less anything but. It shows how little customer satisfaction matters to them. I Their response is classic as they have my information, which is my point. They're lost it?

Update 3/26 STILL NO FUNCTIONING BED. 4th time a delivery team has been here with the wrong parts. Update 3/19, phone call from Ashley’s marketing line apologizing with no additional information. Still without a functioning bed. Update 3/15, no response from the review email. Had to visit the store we purchased it from and they still weren’t able to help much. They gave us a small amount of money off our final bill but we are still 3 months in without a bed. Still curious to know why the right parts weren’t ordered from the beginning. Update 3/14, still no word from Ashley’s Furniture and still no bed to sleep on! Response sent 03/13 update still no bed to sleep on. Approximately 2 months ago, we decided to purchase an entire bedroom set from Ashley Homestore. $2,000 worth of product. 2 months should've been long enough to properly communicate to your team, gather all the proper parts and effectively provide good customer service and a good product. First: We were set to have a delivery team here Friday March 1st, specifically because we were moving, had the room emplty and took time off work. This was established 2 month prior, BUT only a few days before, we got a phone call notifying us that some of our stuff was back ordered, that is why the delivery needed to be pushed to Monday, March 4th. We were frustrated but grateful we'd eventually have everything here. So we took MORE time off work. Second: The delivery team was 6 hours later from the original time stated. Third: They showed up with everything but a few misses pieces from the bed, so we had to sleep on the floor for the following days. Even though it was communicated to us that we had to wait 3 extra days for delivery to get everything at once. Fourth: 5 days later, the remaining parts to our bed arrived, but guess what; we found out that the original sales person had ordered the wrong siding/slats for the bed frame (why couldn't have this been caught 2 months prior to when we originally ordered the bedroom set..?) So here are, one week later STILL with no functioning bed. The poor delivery team had to give us the bad news when it was most definitively not their fault. Fifth: The estimated time of delivery will be March 29th, a whole month later! We will once again, have to miss work for this. I'm sure there will even more hiccups as we continue this journey. But Ashley Homestore needs to be aware that their team has failed to provide even the smallest amount of decent customer service. Is this how you treat every customer that spends thousands of dollars with your company? We will never purchase here again and of course we would never recommend it.

Me and my wife purchase a sofa, love seat and chair from Ashley Furniture in Springfield Oregon on March 3rd 2019. We were told we could pick up the furniture the next weekend because the delivery truck would be there on Thursday. We then got a voicemail on March 4th saying our furniture wouldn't be there. My wife called them back and they said it would be in sometime in April. They couldn't tell us why there was a huge delay or even when it would be in. They then said we could however pay them $200 more to get it sooner. While sounded like a very shady salesman thing to do my wife offered to split it with them. They said no so we canceled the order. Two days after we canceled the order another sales person called back saying they hadn't canceled the order yet and wanted to see if we were still interested. We obviously weren't and just wanted our money back which they said would take 3 to 5 business days to receive. When the got ANOTHER phone call that night asking if we would keep the order if we didn't have to pay the $200. Again the answer was no and just wanted our money back. Then AGAIN THAT NIGHT the sales women sent my wife a text message asking the same thing and wondering why we canceled. She thought we would be excited to know they could get it to us by April 11th. It's now March 11th and we havnt received our refund so I called. I was told that we I'll have it in 7 to 10 business days after March 14th. So we will be waiting almost an entire month for a refund after all of this. I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT recommend any ever buys anything at this extremely shaddy furniture store. To reply to Ashley responding to my review. I was contacted with zero new information. Only that my refund is due to be processed in the future. Thanks for nothing Ashley Furniture.

UPDATE figured I'd give them a 2nd chance called today looking for a headboard for my guest room got directed to call center who tried to get me in touch with the store multiple times store never cared to answer I guess they really dont want to sell anything here Orginal review - Came in ready to buy on 11/24/18 and we were completely ignored not a single employee even tried to talk to us several even walked around us in the asile as we looked at stuff. Went over to Rifes the next day and paid $2,000 cash for two new reclining sofas and got amazing service. Guess coming in wearing your employers work shirt means they think you don't have money to spend guess we won't come back again.

I don’t like writing reviews, but I really needed to warn others. To anyone considering buying furniture please look around anywhere else. The salesman was nice. Everything else is wrong. Paid well over 100 dollars for delivery, and they have rescheduled my furniture 3 different times now. Sitting in a completely empty house with no bed they suggest to me to get an air mattress. It’s a hard hit on your credit to get approved here just to beg them to cancel your order because they will not deliver anything on time. Ashley’s furniture is often same brand as the things at Big lots.— although Ashley’s is much more expensive. I have called the store so many times and spoke with many different people, but fact of the matter is even after receiving a confirmation email and text message that ALL my furniture would be delivered, they call me the day of delivery to tell me they don’t have my things. I ordered my things well over a month ago. If you are in the market for furniture and actually want what you’re paying for, shop anywhere else.
Purchased a split king Serta with separate adjustable bases. They were delivered by two men who did not speak English. (Legal immigrants of this age are required to know English -- draw your own conclusions.) So we were communicating like cave people, and they indicated pieces were missing from one of the bases. It appears it was a returned item with opened parts bags and dinged up parts. They said (so to speak) they would have parts delivered Sunday or Monday. (Not likely). It's Tuesday and I just got off the phone with them - third conversation. They re-stated that the delivery guys were not supposed to leave the base if it wasn't complete. But since they did, they would need to some honcho somewhere - who works for Ashley - to get directions and approval to find a solution. My "Customer Care Advocate" said she could not have the faulty bed picked up and they only way she could communicate with the Delivery Wizard was via email. She said they do not have a phone number for this person, and were waiting on him to answer the now 4 day old email. She offered that she could resend the email with the words "High Importance" -- I guess because your typical Ashley customer is "Low Importance." Here are the failures as far as I can tell: 1) They re-stocked an incomplete order without inspecting it. 2) They did not inspect the bed before delivering it. 3) They sent delivery guys who can't communicate with the customer. 4) The delivery guys left the bed when they should have taken it back. 5) Once a mistake like this is made, their entire supply chain comes to a halt because 6) only one very special person - who can only be reached by email - does not read his email - and we are not allowed (I asked) to know who he is. UPDATE - day 6: I guess Ashley's uses the term "policy" rather loosely, since they have now ordered the missing parts that I was told could not be ordered -- and they are fine and dandy with having delivered an incomplete and pre-used order. Since they didn't ask me what parts were needed before ordering them, it will be interesting to see what I get -- whenever they come. They are now calling this a "claim," a claim against themselves I guess. Seems like we should be the ones filing a claim. If it is a claim against Serta, seems like Serta should call me. More later . . .
Put your reading glasses on. Our experience started pleasant & the salesman, Ronnie, was great! He really worked as much as possible to find us a table that we liked. We decided on the Moriville Gray Rectangle Extendable Table. We were having our first Christmas with family in our new place and wanted to make sure it was delivered in time. This is when things started falling apart. First delivery two chairs & the table needed to be replaced due to defects.The delivery guys informed me to call Ashley customer care to have the item(s) returned & replaced.Customer care let me know that was wrong but went ahead with the exchanges. This was after we sent pictures of the defects & customer care & agreed that they were indeed defects.The second delivery which was thankfully before Christmas, had a head delivery guy that was rude. He pulled the new chairs off the truck immediately but was skeptical that the table had a defect. He wanted to see the defect first. When he saw the table he said that it wasn't a defect & was part of the style of table.He mentioned that sometimes the customer gets confused when in fact there is no defect. He mentioned that the small pin hole in the table was on the new table as well. We requested to see the new table to see the defect he was talking about we found nothing of the sort. He didn't give us new leaves but said that they would fit the new table fine as they are all the same. He was very wrong. Christmas dinner came & they did not fit at all. So we spent Christmas dinner with awkward gaps in the table where we had the leaves that didn't fit or the same dye lot.After that we went into the store this time instead of calling customer care. Spoke to Ronnie & he spoke to his manager. We were told that their h&s are mostly tied & I would need to deal with customer care over the phone. They did say that they would credit our account the delivery fee. Ok well that's something.After this I get two calls from customer care letting me know that the table is delayed now due to manufacturer. This delayed the delivery almost a month after.When I received the second call delaying it another week, I asked to speak to a manager/supervisor. I had not received my credit yet & felt I was being jerked around at this point.I was told they were busy & they would call me back. Never received a call from a supervisor. I did receive a call from customer care about a week later setting up delivery of the new table. I was floored. I told her I wanted to speak to a manager immediately which there was no one available after sitting on hold. She told me someone would return my phone call that day. Nothing. Next day someone else called to set up delivery not reading the notes I wanted to speak to a manager. Again I was told that a supervisor would be calling me within 24-48 hours (the last lady I spoke with gave me misinformation that I would receive a call so soon). Again absolutely nothing. I went in to speak with the store manager, Jim Leonard, at the Springfield store. He calmed me down a bit & let me know that is was corporate that dropped the ball & it would be fixed. I was given his card & his personal cell phone to call after delivery. If I found the table unsatisfactory or the delivery guys to be rude I was to call his cell phone immediately while they were there. I could at that time send the whole thing back. A breath of fresh air when the delivery guys were nice like the first delivery experience & the table with new leaves were satisfactory. I left a message on Jim's cell phone letting him know the delivery went well. His next steps were to contact his main contact at corporate to work out the best deal to compensate us for the headache. They were supposed to call us directly to speak with us.Crickets after two weeks. Delivery was February 6th & still not even the delivery fee has been credited to my account.Will update this if I ever get anywhere with Ashley. At this point it better be a great deal to not just send the table & chairs back & never buy from them again.Ashley can choose how this review ends.
Tiera was absolutely wonderful, we honestly could not have asked for a better experience! Initially we went on the search for a new couch to better fit our small apartment, aside from helping us find the best couch she also helped us find everything we needed to upgrade our entire living and dining room! She made the entire experience super laid back and fun! So helpful and we did not feel pressured into purchasing things we didn’t need.
Worst shopping experience in my entire life! The big CORPORATE entity is willing to take your money but not deliver the merchandise as promised, and not refund your money as agreed. Willing to hold your funds for 5 weeks, or indeterminately... who knows, if you don't power through to get the credit yourself. Once they acknowledge they are messing with you they still give themselves playtime before contacting your finance company and properly credit your account. Sorry for the sales floor personnel, there sincere work is undermined by the big war machine. Roll them over and take no prisoners! Additional NOTE: Since posting this review I have had three comments from the supposed "Owner" DN. However, this is a disingenuous attempt to cover their actions for a bad review. I tried the link they are saying to respond to, it goes no where. They say they cant find any records of my issues. I called or went there three times....they know who I am, the manager personally gave me his phone number...but they cant find records or transactions for me??? The responses they are posting are a smokescreen. They are committing fraud and theft by deception in their failure to refund my money and their ploys at innocence.

Not a cheap place but also no super expensive. Seems to have a very nice selection of styles to choose from as well. My favorite thing about this place was the sales staff and in a furniture store that's saying a lot. They didn't follow us around but we're always able to be found to ask questions about specific pieces rather easily. If you're in the area and looking for a whole room set go check them out. They had one set that was crazy good looking and literally was made from the old blue pallets, you know the heavy super solid pallets. Will totally go back with taxes and see if anything just jumps out and screams "shut up and take my money" lol.
I will never shop at this store again poor help poor customer service. I ordered twin beds for my granddaughters on the 18th of December to be delivered on the ninth of January the night before the delivery I was delayed till the 16th. So messed up their communication the delivery people showed up with part delivery. All three the men didn't speak English well enough to understand me. On the sixteenth delayed again till the 24th. Was waiting on the 24th for the delivery called to see when they would be there, and guess what delayed again till the 12th of February. On the 26th I called to cancel the order and have them pick up what they had delivered was to be picked up on the second. Called to find out why they had not called or we are sorry we forgot to call you can't pick it up today. I know this is a long review but I WILL NEVER SHOP AT THAT STORE AGAIN. By the way my granddaughters have been sleeping on the floor.
The plan was to check out beds and prices, then go to other stores to do the same. We walked out having made a purchase after finding the perfect bed for us. Great selection of beds, great prices and a terrific salesman who took time to thoroughly explain everything to us. I can't say enough good things about our experience. Only gave 4 ☆'s because delivery didn't go as smoothly as it could have.

I went into Ashleys to purchase a whole home full of furnishings for a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom around 1500 sq.ft.. I coordinated with a sales person to get my best price while getting final approval from a manager named Jim. I explained to them I did not want to pay till I heard from the title company that we were closing on a certain day. They agreed and I agreed the furniture could not be ordered till I called them with this date. at that time I would come in and pay cash. Paying cash to get best deal. I shopped around with other furniture stores and at the time Ashley was the best price and willing to wait till closing date got close. I am also 2.5 hours south of Springfield location so when the date neared I called/texted to set up a time when I found out the date. We agreed on a time after I signed the closing paperwork with the title company. I showed up 10 minutes early. As I walked around I noticed that I could not find the salesman nor Jim the manager. I asked at the counter for both and was told neither was in today. I explained why I was there and told them well where do I pay the 6k in cash that I had in my pocket. While they looked me up on the computer I texted the sales person to see why we made an appointment for a day he was not going to be working. He responded about 30 minutes later saying I am off today just go see Jim. I told him Jim was not there today. In the mean time the counter person informed me I was not in their computer. I had been working with these two gentleman for about a month now and they did not even enter me into a computer nor all the product my wife and I have chosen. I looked at my wife shrugged my shoulders with disbelief and went out to my car. The best decision I made was looking on my phone for another furniture we have not dealt with and found Rife’s about a mile or so away. We went there and explained what had just happened and the sales person informed me we sell all the same product that Ashley sells. I was shocked when it was the exact same product which made it easy as we had item numbers. We worked out a deal at a better price and two weeks later the house is complete. Do yourself a favor and go straight to Rife’s where they get things done and stick to their word.

I recently purchased some furniture for a makeover we were doing at a local school. The furniture is great and looks amazing in the space. The low rating is for the over promising on helping us with cost. We are a non-profit, and all sorts of promises were made of future discounts and extra things that only his bosses could do. All it would take is a phone call. Well every time I checked to see if he had heard back, it was the same story, "Check back with me next week." Then, when I had no other choice but to buy the furniture because of deadlines, the promises turned to, "We'll refund the discounts to your card, once they are approved." A month later...nothing. I would have bought the furniture without all of the promises, but I am highly disappointed with the wheeling and dealing which turned into NOTHING. Next time, Jim, just tell me you can't do any other discounts so you don't waste my time. Time to take my business and cash somewhere else.

My sales person Kim Messick was amazing. We changed what we wanted numerous times. Always smiling never made us feel like it was a problem. Found what we wanted right away. Got approved for our Ashley’s account no problem. Went with 48 months no interest. When we left we were so at ease.

We had a good experience with the sales lady. I am NOT happy about not getting the chair for 2 weeks after we were supposed to. That means a month from the time we ordered it.
Alissa went above and beyond her duty of selling furniture , she was interested in what we wanted not how much she could sell. She was also very knowledgeable about every piece of furniture we looked at. At the end of the sale she was not just our sales person she was also our friend. We will refer her to anyone who is thinking of looking at furniture Thank you Alissa for a job very well done, and I hope you feel better.
Jake with acceptance now and Momma D are absolutely incredible!!! Me and my other half have left multiple times very satisfied!!! We have furnished our home and bedroom with them and i couldnt be more happy .... this most recent time we have been looking for a bed for awhile and just couldnt afford it out of pocket but they took care of us and got us exactly what we wanted for a great price !! I will reccomend anyone to them they deffinantly take care of their customers. Thank you guys for making us so happpppy:)

This place doesn’t even deserve one star. We bought a couch, dining room table and end table. Waited two weeks for delivery and when they delivered we got half of our couch, our six chairs and they forgot our table and end table. Instead of making things right we have to wait another week for our table and other part of our couch and they will only give us half off our deliver fee. NEVER BUY FROM HERE!!!! UPDATE! We were supposed to have the rest of our furniture on Friday, they messed up again! And then Saturday they said they will deliver it on the 31st and we finally got our table and chairs, and then guess what!!! We still didn’t get the rest of our couch!!!! I AM SO TIRED OF THIS DAMN COMPANY AND HOW THEY HANDLE THINGS!
We went to Ashley in search of a new bedroom set and couch. Alissa was there for all of our needs, she took us around the store to help us find exactly what we wanted. She wasn't pushy and she told us straight up about each product with no sales pitch that you normally get. She was very patient with us when I was indecisive and couldn't make up my mind. She also went above and beyond to make everything work out the way we wanted it to. I definitely recommend this store and recommend Alissa at the Eugene store.

I ordered a 500 dollar dresser with 60 dollar shipping and paid and full in the store. Expected shipping December 23rd the truck broke down and I was told I had to reschedule. Rescheduled for December 26th between 8 and 10 AM it never showed up, called 23 minute hold put my number on the call back list. 48 hours later never received a call. Called back again on the 28th and was placed again on a lengthy hold and have to place my number on the call back list. Not expecting a call. Great customer service up to the point that I paid cash for my dresser. Ever step after that has been worth 0 stars.

I had great experiences at Ashley’s when I lived in New Mexico so i thought it’d be a sure bet. I’ve purchased multiple pieces of furniture that have held up for three years and three moves so far. In Early November, I purchased a few pieces with Rob Kay’s help. He focused on my needs for the entirety of my visit and even dragged around the kitchen chair I wanted to ensure it complemented the entertainment stand I picked out. Above and beyond customer service! Then I arranged my work schedule to be home the day of delivery, 5 weeks later. An hour into the delivery window I get a call that there were problems in the warehouse and had to reschedule. I explained that I work during the day and I had meetings the rest of the week. They said they deliver as late as 10pm so I asked if I could get a spot any time after 5pm. The agent said she’d note the file and call me back if that wasn’t possible. At 1:30 the next day I get a text that they’re 30 minutes away. I called them to explain I was heading into a meeting and couldn’t be there until 5pm. A different agent said they load the truck by zip code and could only offer me the window from 2-5pm. The rest of my work week was booked and I wouldn’t be able to get a Saturday delivery for 2 weeks—after Christmas when I was hoping to have the pieces (a dining set and an entertainment center) for the holidays. I thought about it and called back to cancel the order. The agent was very friendly and understood my dilemma. In talking to three different agents, no one made any effort to work with my scheduling needs despite the fact that the need to reschedule initially was on their end, and no one tried to engage in problem-solving to save the order. I would have thought it would be just as much work to circle back to my house to unload the furniture after 5pm as it would be to continue to work around bulky items in their truck and then unload it back into the warehouse. I was saddened that all the good work in the store was undone because of the lacking customer service on the backend.
SAVE YOURSELF FROM A HUGE HEADACHE. YOU WILL REGRET! THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND IT IS YOU BEGGING THEM TO GET YOUR FURNITURE.

Walked in just looking to browse couches. We were greeted by Alissa right away. There was none of that intimidating sales person vibe from her and it immediately put us at ease. She was relatable, funny and professional at the same time. I prefer a simpler modern look while my spouse prefers full on recliner leather couches. She was patient each time we didn’t agree on a style. She joked with us and continued to work on finding something we could agree on. In the end, we finally agreed and found the perfect couch for our space. Alissa went over all the details thoroughly, leaving us confident on our purchase. If you ever find yourself at this location, only ask for Alissa. You won’t regret it.

I walked in after looking online and I have to say that is a MUST. Do your research BEFORE going to the store. Sometimes the prices aren't up or they are hard to find when in the store. Also, I get this sneaky feeling that if I hadn't found the dresser at that price online, they would have hiked up the price. One last thing is if you have a 10% promo code and something is on "special" there you cant use it even if the coupon says you can. I gave it 4 stars still because the customer service was really good and she did try every promo code that she could to get me the 10% off. My biggest piece of advice though is ALWAYS do your research before going in or buying the piece of furniture.

I had an excellent experience buying my new sectional sofa! Ronnie and Lucas took Extra Care to make sure my husband and I got the sofa of our dreams. They even went as far as to go above and beyond I hope it's fine accessories to help our living room look cohesive. They even helped keep our young girls entertained so we could shop for our pieces! Sales associate was great, we had to wait an extra week to get our dining room set. When we received it on Wednesday, over one month from purchasing it is defective ! Had to accept delivery because Thanksgiving was next day. Called customer care, going to take two weeks to get a technician out to look at it.

After recent interactions with other furniture stores, I was hesitant to walk in to this one. I needed a loveseat that would match my chair. What I wanted was something attractive and affordable. And MAYBE if I was lucky I could have it before Christmas. I was NOT expecting to find good customer service- I was not expecting to find someone like Tiera. Tiera McMahon was the friendliest and kindest saleslady I have ever worked with. She not only answered my questions, but on a couple of occassions answered questions from co workers. Each time she answered with ease and was patient and sweet and funny. She never seemed bothered or put out. She found me a beautiful loveseat, and when I joked about my grandson spilling things she sold me a protection plan that will cover all kinds of things for 5 years! I had the easiest and best shopping experience I ever have before. I hope you know what a special and top notch employee you have in Tiera.

I went here a couple years ago when my girlfriend and I were getting new furniture and Ryan helped us out. He's a manager now and he really deserves it! He's really informative and we felt comfortable throughout the entire sale, not to mention the quality of the product is unbelievable! I brought my brother in today because he needed a whole new bedroom set and I knew Ashley's would have exactly what he needed, if you want your furniture to last, this is where you go and this is the only place we will ever be going for furniture in the future.

(Sorry if the name is misspelled) it was very nice to work with a sales person who knew what she was talking about even down to the price difference between the two that we were deciding between.which did help us make our decision a bit easier. Loved my recliner, until it broke after a year and a half. Then they wanted $89 upfront to come look at it next month. If the repair goes over an hour, then it $99 an hour. For a $500 recliner. Not impressed.

It was horrible...still have not recieved my bed frame. Annoyed because my beautiful mattress from ashley is on the floor. Wont use them again...will use ashley f or any furniture I need. Tiera was super helpful while helping me choose a mattress. However, it really sucked that it was going to take almost an entire month for the bed in a box to get here unless I paid a $69 delivery fee. Paying the delivery fee was the only way I could get a bed beforehand I moved into my new, unfurnished apartment. Otherwise, I would’ve had to go three weeks without a bed. BUT instead of listening to me, they didn’t change my address so they scheduled a delivery to a place I won’t be living at yet, forcing me to go back into the store to change my address. Wildly inefficient and didn’t even listen to me at all when I said MULTIPLE times the delivery was scheduled before I would move into my new place AND after I gave her my current address! Won’t be shopping here again.

Had a really great experience here getting a few pieces of furniture after a big move. Sharon, who assisted me, was very helpful, patient, and perhaps most importantly...not pressuring at all! She made sure I was aware of all of my options and was able to help me save a decent amount off the total. Only downside is that the nearest warehouse is in Portland, and so delivery is not very fast.

Awesome experience! I had the pleasure of working with Daniel. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and patient with me as I kept him past the end of his normal shift. Did not feel one bit of pressure to purchase at any point in time while I was there, although I did indeed end up buying. Daniel was completely honest, down to earth, and very creative in coming up with a solution for my needs and making things work out smoothly. Another gentleman by the name of Mark aided in the financing aspect and was also a stand up guy. Daniel was an amazing sales associate. He was knowledgeable about products and was fast. We were able to get our new furniture delivered before my wife's party the coming weekend. We were sold by the sales person a "white glove service". They were a hour and a half later then their "delivery window" which was between 3-6 but didn't arrive until 7:30! They then made excuses why they didn't have time to assemble our furniture so we had to do it. They then left garbage and screws in our driveway which I drove over before noticing! Then the second delivery we had, because they couldn't get it all to us in one delivery, the coffee table was so damaged I couldnt even except it and they had to take it back. I will say this, they at least refunded us the shipping cost.

Springfield store location is where I went to find a new king size bed, after 30 minutes of their employees looking right at me, and then turning and walking away, I made my way back to the front of store where I exited. I was never once greeted or even talked to. I guess I didn’t “look the part” of being able to afford any of their products as a 22 year old. I then proceeded to take my business elsewhere at a furniture shop next to theirs and I purchased a 1,200$ Bed in cash... I was greeted, helped, and taken seriously by mattress firm. I recommend Mattress over Ashley’s home furniture ANYDAY. Response: I haven’t heard anything from anyone... and I don’t need any assistance, I purchased what I needed elsewhere and will continue to purchase furniture for my new home, elsewhere! Attention associates: The reason our experience earned 5 stars is all because of customer service; genuine customer service, by Dee Ann Montgomery, Product Specialist. After spending hours researching what sort of bunk bed we needed to invest in for our young daughter, we found a quality option through Night and Day furniture. After visiting the 'show room' (transformed living room inside a house that smelled poorly) of a vendor, my husband and I both said, 'let's shop in a nicer environment where we can see the bed itself'. We called Brenner's furniture, they didn't have bunk beds on the showroom floor. We called Rife's furniture (we had worked with them before); they had some, but not the Ashley loft piece we had also found online earlier that day. Then Rife's said go to the Ashley Home store, take a look, and we can beat the MSRP price just like it says on our website. While that sounded like a good idea, we were pleasantly surprised when we called the Ashley Home store. Dee Ann answered our call, confirmed she had the piece in the showroom, and asked us to ask for her when we came so she could take us right to it. When we got there, she met us with a real smile and solid handshake. Throughout the entire decision making process, she gave us space to consider our options but also answered each of our questions clearly and showed us she was genuinely invested in our satisfaction in terms of price, quality and longevity. For questions she couldn't answer, she went and found the answer. This real service made it very easy for us to reach a decision together and we knew she was not using 'marketing fluff', a 'sales pitch' or any other frowned upon methods (feature puke/data dump/show up and throw up). Those are real methods and they are all terrible; they make us want to walk away. The fact that Dee Ann was authentic, knowledgeable and resourceful made us choose to stay and want to hear more. Overall, because of the personable nature of service and the accurate account of what Dee Ann COULD do for us, we were very happy with this experience and are excited to receive our daughter's bed in a few weeks. Dee Ann was successful at the cross-sell/up-sell part of this because the things she mentioned truly made good sense in the long run. Also, when we chose not to go with the mattress protectors at this time, she was very flexible and recognized how important it was that both me and my husband were comfortable with the amount we were spending today. This is a large investment for most people. When you combine authenticity with reasonable answers, upsell the pieces that make sense (bunkie boards) and still strive to bring that customer the BEST deal possible, you will have a lovely sale to report with the high probability that an even bigger sale will come through you (our master bedroom set is next in the line up...) AND the positive referral your customer shares with their friends and family is invaluable to the company and to you as a Product Specialist. It is not how fast you talk...ever. It's how real you are and how much common sense you use when answering real questions that gets you to a healthy sale. Wish I could go lower than one star. Horrible coustomer service. Store was like being at a car lot salesmen everywhere. Got hit with $129 delivery charge after sale was decided. No follow up after finally getting our furniture from the manager that sold us the funiture. SAD EXPERIENCE !!! STAY AWAY !!!!!

I felt a little overwhelmed by being asked by every staff member if they could help me. I know that sounds silly, but I try something, then ask questions. I feel rushed when someone asks every two to three minutes if they can help me. Over all though, they were friendly, very helpful, and got me set up with financing so I could make payments on the set I picked. I am happy with my visit and do recommend visiting the store if you are looking for furniture.

If only that continued thru delivery. 1 star for them. I have adjusted this review due to the delivery. We received our nightstands and adjustable bed without incident, although our adjustable bed model was not in stock during purchase, what we received was quite different than expected. We were shown what the remote would look like with 2 memory settings and how far the legs would elevate. Our remote has an up and down arrow for head and feet and a "home" button. No memory and minimal leg lift. Still need to use wedges to raise my legs due to low back pain. Possible misunderstanding on our part. The biggest surprise was a week later when we got the bed frame. 1. All nuts holding side rails were left not even finger tight. One washer and nut is completely missing. I discovered this by grabbing the headboard and trying to move into place. Felt like it was falling apart. 2. One panel on the headboard was installed upside down. The unfinished edge was on top as you can see in the pictures. 3. An Allen bolt on head board was left just sticking out of the hole. No attempt at tightening. 4. The adjustable frame slides the bed frame slightly when moving head up and down and we only have a 12" memory foam mattress! You pay for delivery and set up and tip the delivery guys just so you can disassemble and reassemble properly? Very poor delivery followed by such positive sales experience? Almost a "suck them in" sales technique followed by 'now how do we assemble this" project.

They do not stand behind products when they break down and fabric starts to ball up they chalk it up to regular wear & tear and won't help even at the corporate level! Do not waste your $ go elsewhere you won't regret it! If if could give them less than 1 star rating I would. Jazzy the customer service manager works her butt off to try and help but is not backed up by corporate. It is very sad please do not make the mistake of purchasing from them.

this place feels more like a car dealership than a Furniture store. You have to pay for delivery, and I understand they use a service but that should be standard when I’m spending over $1000. and then I still have to wait 2 weeks to get my stuff from Portland because they don’t keep inventory in stock. when I said I would not pay delivery and started to leave the salesman had to “go talk to the manager“ and lo and behold they found the chairs I was buying for $60 less on their website! So they gave me that price to absorb the delivery fee. Doesn’t sound like a car dealership to you?
Very unhappy with our experience. If you're on the market for new furniture go elsewhere. The store staff is wonderful, don't get me wrong. but as soon as you have to deal with corporate it will go downhill. We purchased a mattress which started to breakdown less than a month later! We brought pictures to the store, and were advised to call corporate. An inspector came out, about a month later and determined that it had a manufacture defect. You will be able to get a replacement, he said. Next thing I know someone at corporate is telling me that, "the techs 5 word paragraph is insufficient to determine a manufacturer defect!" The tech wrote. "This is a defective mattress." Today at the store were told that, "corporate is saying that because the indentations on our mattress are only 1" deep, it is not defective enough to get it replaced!" Not sure where that measurement was pulled from? Considering that "the tech wrote a 5 word insufficient paragraph." This was our first purchase at Ashley and it will be our last!
We had an awesome experience at Ashley Home furniture in Springfield. They were very polite. We had the greatest salesman, Zach. He was a big reason we decided to come back after taking some time to think about our decision because the couches we purchased were way out of our price range! He was so friendly and not pushy at all, which is very nice because that’s one of my biggest pet peeves! He was so helpful and dealt with me changing my mind like 4 different times!!! Thank you guys!
Went in just to look and was helped by Zach...he showed me some options, but knowing how I didn't have any measurements or really any idea of what I wanted since I just moved to town, he waited for me to obtain the info that he needed in order to help me at his fullest capabilities. Once I got measurements he took the time to explain the layout with different options and kept my budget in mind but also the color and material that I would prefer. Finally decided on the couches close to their closing time and a bit after with paprrwork and all. He arranged everything as far as payment and delivery, even spoke with his manager about doing split day delivery at no extra cost due to availability. I was very happy with the decision on furniture except one of the couches was a bit too large and he's working with me to get it figured out in order to make sure that I'm happy with my purchase! Overall, he and the Ashley team was awesome...no pressure environment and easy to work with. I needed a couch and walked out with one that I absolutely loved along with a rug, tee pee and table and chairs for my son. Tiara is so wonderful and helpful, very knowledgeable about everything I had questions for. She was there to help me with anything and also gave me time and space to look at everything. She didn't make me feel rushed or preshered to get anything. I will definitely be going back for more furniture in the future!!!
I have to say good customer service is hard to come by. I am in the process of moving and having to get new furniture and it’s a very tedious and hard selection for me as I’m a very picky person, Tiera was the best sales associate I have ever dealt with when it comes to my pickiness. She gave me so many options and was so understanding during the process of me selecting my sleeper sofa. If I can recommend anybody to speak with while doing this process in your future endeavors I would ask for Tiera at Ashley furniture..
Very pleased with both Tiera and James. Neither were pushy or followed us around like puppy dogs. They helped us, let us shop. Returned 2 weeks later and they didn't try to steal others sale.

Tiera is very knowledge of all products. She helped us with staying in budget. Always has time for every question. Update ..... when it comes to delivery you can expect to get half your stuff one time and a we don't know what happened to rest of order. We will be sleeping on on air mattress as the warehouse ppl have lost the mattress to our order that was all ordered at same time. We got one mattress and two box springs. We were told the mattress would be delivered next day with the living room furniture. They lost our mattress and cant promise a delivery time but can promise when our first bill will be due. Poor customer service. We will NEVER BUY HERE AGAIN

I felt at home once I got inside this store. It was like I live there. The ambiance in the store will make you spend more time in without you getting tired of being in the store. All were very nice and welcoming at the door, while getting in the store. Then later the salesperson and Manager checked on me to make sure I was doing well when I returned home. The whole store management was truly loving and caring to follow up with me to making sure I was good. All working here knew their jobs well and were very patient with me.My experience was very excellent in the store and out of the store and I thank you very much for all you do and have done for me. I really like the way you deal with people and meet all their needs just like you did for me. I thank you very much and I will always come back to work with you and come back as a customer as well. Do NOT buy anything from this store. The products they have are ok but the service after you buy anything is TERRIBLE. They do not have ANY technicians in this area to fix your broken stuff if that happens. We had a table installed in our home incorrectly and the legs broke......5 months ago..... no technician for Ashley homestore has been able to come and fix it yet. They have no excuses when you call them on the phone. They are simply understaffed and if you buy a product that breaks from Ashley homestore you are outta luck completely. Go next door to the next furniture store where the product is just as good and the service to fix anything if it breaks under warranty is adequately available!!

Daryel and the other sales staff were great and super helpful in helping us buy the sectional we saw on their website, and they even price matched the online sale price! They didn't have the exact sectional we wanted on the floor, but Daryel went out of his way to show us the exact fabric sample, and a couch that had the same cushion type as the sectional we wanted so we could make sure it was a good fit for us and what we wanted. Also, there was no pressure sales tactics involved. In fact, they didn't even bother us while we looked around. They let us look around and try out various couches and chairs until we talked to them! I love a place that just let's you look around without jumping down your throat the minute you walk in the door. If I ever need more furniture in the future, Ashley's will be the first place I look! Again thanks guys for the great experience!

Everyone was super friendly and knowledgeable. I was really particular about finding the perfect mattress and i definitely was allowed to figure things out on my own without being pressured into anything. They also had this really awesome device that measures your pressure points and says which is the best mattress for you based on how you sleep. I’m really excited about getting my new mattress and getting some great nights of sleep on it :)
Zach was there to help us every step of the way. He listened to what we wanted and then helped us find the perfect items. He is very kind and respectful. 10/25/2017 1.0 star rating On September 6, 2017 I bought a piece of furniture from Springfield Ashley Furniture Store. To save $150, I chose to pick it up when it came in, which I did. At home while uncrating it we noticed it was damaged. I called customer care the next morning and they suggested to have their repairman come and fix it in one week, September 30th. On Friday the 29th I received a call to say my repair appointment was bumped due to overbooking. After 45 minutes on the phone with 'Customer care' I chose to just exchange it. At that time I was told to exchange it at the store October 12th. I called the morning of October 12th to make sure the exchange came in and was told I was given the wrong date. The new deal was they would exchange it at my house free of a delivery charge on Friday October 20th. On October 20th I found out that Portland did not receive the new one from the manufacturer yet. The new date would be today. Well the delivery truck came today and I had them unpackage the new one before they brought it in. It also was damaged, with the same trim piece! The delivery person had to get permission from his boss or 'Customer care' to place it back on the truck. I told the delivery men they needed to take the first one also. Then Customer care called me and tried to talk me into a third one. There is no way, I am done. As I was on the phone, the truck pulled away without taking the first one! Customer care said they were not authorized to take the first one. I don't get it as they would had taken it if the second one wasn't damaged. So now the process has to go through the 'refund' department before they can take it back. In this day and age of computers it doesnt take long to get things approved. I have watched customer service go downhill in this country over the last 40 years. This is absolutely the worst customer service I have experienced. In fact I was browsing their store last week for a dining set and no sales person (even the three chatting to each other) acknowledged me and I left after almost 10 minutes. The other issue is the quality control of the manufacterer. Both pieces were packaged strong and secure. Clearly both pieces were not inspected properly. If I were Ashley Furniture I would not purchase from that manufacturer anymore. Ashley Furniture just lost a lot of business! Do not do business with Ashley Furniture. 10/30/2017 Now the rest of the story....i received a call telling me the return people could pick up the first coffee table today Oct 30th between 530pm and 830pm. I accepted. Today at work they called me to pick it up early but I refused as I told them I would not be home till 5pm. I got home at 455pm and discovered they had picked up the empty box that was on my porch! I called and the operator said they had changed the pick up window to 430pm and 730pm without calling me! The operator told me the pick up guy was at my house at 447pm, 8 minutes before I arrived home! What is wrong with their communication? The operator told me he would see if someone could come to my house still this evening and he would call me back. Well 2.5 hrs later a recording called and informed me of another day and time for pick up, which won't work out for me. I called to reschedule and I hope they come then and get this headache out of my house. Never will I ever step foot in their store again. The poorest customer service I have ever experienced. Do not, I repeat do not shop at Ashley Furniture Home Store!!!

Bought my first new couch ever today! Tiera helped me and I'm pretty sure we are already best friends. She helped me find the perfect couch to fit into my living room, as well as stand up to two rowdy boys and two dogs. I have never bought anything this big on my own and was a little nervous about going in on my own, but Tiera made the entire experience easy and comfortable. Loved shopping here! Definitely spent more than I should have but no fault but my own impulse. While the sales rep Jen showed me items I wouldn't have seen on my own I did not feel pressured to buy anything. I will have to go back soon though I have my eye on a few pieces I'm saving up for my next round of retail therapy I hope Jen is there to help me find them again.
My partner passed away a few years ago and since then I've been having a hard time sleeping in my room because we bought our furniture together. I've been wanting to make a change so I can sleep in that room again however it's been a struggle to change. Had the most wonderful experience at Ashley's over Labor Day weekend. Ryan was helping me for the better part of the day and was amazing. He was patient with me and my daughter as we were trying to decide which bedroom sets we liked. From giving us quotes on different sets to helping me pick the perfect mattress he was not pushy or rushed me on the slightest, they stayed open far past closing just to make sure we left happy. This is my first time buying home furniture and I must say that the experience was/is awesome. JAMES BUCK was more than helpful and patient with me. I probably gave his mind a jumbling or two with the many tangents and side tracking that I had going on. Lol. He was able to make the process very easy for me. James helped me to weigh my options and what would probably be best for me and my situation. The customer service was 100 times better than the service provided at the other furniture establishments I've been to. The salesmen are idiots, they have no idea what they are doing and are only trying to tell the most expensive mattress. The receptionist was nice. The old balding man also profiles people and will not sell you a mattress that he thinks you can not afford. He was very disrespectful and I am deeply disappointed these people still exist
This was my first time buying a couch and the experience was way less intimidating than I thought it would be. Ryan Macy was very helpful and let us have our own time to test out couches and figure out which was best for us. Delivery was fairly fast. We were unsure where to buy furniture for our new apartment and looked around at a few places in Eugene, but Ashley Furniture had the style we were looking for & the most welcoming vibe. The couch is super comfortable and everyone loves it!

My experience working with Ashley was great. She was very patient and friendly and answered all of my questions while helping me decide what items would work best for the space I am finishing. I only purchased accessories at the time, however, I will be getting other items and will be working with her when I do. She even went as far as to send me a thank you card for the business. First, the sales staff is awesome. No pressure, they let me test drive the whole store, everyone I met was helpful, friendly, non judgmental, honest and well informed. I wish I could work with them regularly. Reasonable deals, financing available- normal furniture store, above average people. Second, the follow up customer service has been bad. Everyone is very nice, but a month after I bought my couch, I still have a broken couch I can only use half of. It was delivered with a busted back and a knife knick not apparent until like 5 min after the delivery. Called the customer service line immediately and here we are a month+ later. As of now, I've been waiting a couple days for a follow up call the tech said I'd get, so I have to hunt them down to find out what happens next. Techs only go out twice a month, which is fine, but the call center mis-scheduled my first appt by a month, and the repair couldn't happen on-site. Everyone's been nice and respectful, but the job's not getting done and my time isn't valued. I feel like I'm bogged down in process instead of someone just delivering the functional couch I paid for. Not great.

Horrible Experience! Worst customer care ever! Waited nearly two months for delivery before finally canceling the entire order!!! They provided multiple stories and nonsense scenarios as to why they completely no showed on two scheduled deliveries. Showed up twice with incomplete parts unable to assemble furniture! Spent countless wasted hours on the phone with Incompetent store staff trying to resolve this mess! What a joke!

I put a deposit down on furniture on 12/12/16. The salesperson said that it had to be ordered and that it would arrive on 1/11/17 in their warehouse in Portland, OR. Since that was a week day and I was driving 2 hours from home to go to their warehouse to pick it up, we set a date of 1/14/17 for pick up. Today is 1/9/17. I called to pay the remaining layaway balance and they informed me that the pick up date changed and that it would be available for pick up on 2/10/17! I asked for them to do free delivery rather than me picking it up for the inconvenience (since I've already gone a month without furniture waiting for this to arrive) and the associate said she couldn't. She apologized and said that I should have been told that they can't guarantee dates until the items are paid in full. Unfortunately, this was never told to me and had they told me, I would have made adjustments accordingly. Needless to say, I cancelled my order and will be going elsewhere. I was warned by others about them and I didn't listen! Take this as your warning! DON'T SHOP HERE!!!

My wife and I went in for a kitchen table and got the table as well as a complete living room set. Tiera worked with us through many changes and we are very impressed with her. 5 stars for her. Our furniture was delivered and assembled on the date promised by two very courteous and professional gentlemen. 5 starts for them. Several issues encountered during delivery, called Customer Care hotline and after a long time on hold was helped by a very nice lady who got things straightened out. 5 stars for her. Our order was missing two of the chairs for the dining room set and the table wouldn't go together and this was attributed to a manufacturing defect. The gentlemen who delivered the furniture handled the table issue very professionally so no issues with them. My issue is with the company that sends out a table that won't go together, very unprofessional. We were not told nor were the delivery team advised that the order was missing two chairs, again very unprofessional. Taking off work to be home and having to take another day off for the second delivery costs money for my wife and I. If you buy from Ashley, during the set up for delivery make sure you make them understand that you expect what you are paying for to be delivered the first time.

We had the worse experience with this company. They over promise and under deliver. Scratched furniture and delayed delivery by 39 days. Now we have to wait for another two weeks to get our furniture. I would never recommend this company to anyone looking for furniture.
I really hate to leave a bad review of this place because our salesman in the store, James, was the best. He put up with my indecisiveness, didn't make us feel pressured and gave us all the time in the world to pick out our new sectional. Our issue unfortunately was with the delivery and if I could just give them a public review, I would. We had two men deliver our new couch and one of them was new. The new guy was kind of getting all of the crappy work while the more experienced one stayed inside almost the entire time. Not the most professional image but that alone doesn't warrant this negative review. While in my home, my wife left the room for a short amount of time and during that time one of them ended up taking a bottle of prescription drugs from us. They were definitely there before they arrived as I had set them on the shelf this morning. With the delivery drivers being the only outside people to come in our home in over a month, it's pretty obvious to connect the dots here. A police report is being filed and I hope they are held accountable. As a delivery/service employee myself, I'm seriously shocked that anybody would act like this in a customer's home. Again, this isn't an issue with the store, I'm just not sure where else to post this. James is the man and I will 100% be purchasing more from him in the future. I will gladly change my review if this is handled appropriately.
Update 10/20: Both promised credits have been posted. I will say that after posting the original negative review, Ashley was quick to assign a customer relations person who could make decisions and make things happen, which I appreciate. My son is enjoying the dresser and I am satisfied with the resolution of the delivery issue. Update 10/11: Ashley contacted me after I posted my review. They promised to have the item delivered on 10/10 and refund the delivery fee. The item was delivered as promised. Haven't seen the refund yet, will update again when I do. Also I had previously been promised a $25 refund at the time of the first delay, and that never came through either. Original post 10/5: Purchased a dresser on opening day (late August); my credit card was charged immediately and delivery was supposed to be 10 days later. Then I got a call that the item was out of stock and would be delayed for 2 weeks, which turned out to be 3 weeks because of the delivery schedule. A few days before that delivery date, I received an email asking me to call about my order. I was then told that the truck was full and they couldn't deliver as promised. Delivery was rescheduled again for Oct. 3, and they said I would get a call a few days in advance with a time window. No call. No delivery. No info. No refund on my card. Very poor service and they shouldn't have charged the card until the item was shipped. I will be contesting the credit charge.
This is my first time to Ashley's store. Marcus was very nice and patient. We entered the store 20 minutes prior to closing, and were wondering around to look for a sofa. Marcus showed us how the sleeper works, very patient in answering various questions in price, dimensions, options etc. We ended up not buying anything since we could not reach an agreement. But I would have bought it if not for the disagreement between my husband and I. Five star for the excellent customer service!

Adam Borchers was EXCELLENT in helping us select our furniture for our new home. He was very knowledgeable and new how to direct us in what we needed by listening to our needs and the style of what we were trying to achieve. We literally went to evey furniture store in Eugene&Springfield and in the end found everything we were look for at Ashley's.
The worst company ever! Was treat like dog ***p by their delivery department. No customer Service at all. Do not buy from this company ever!

My husband and I went into the new store in Springfield or on Labor Day weekend we purchased a living room set Debbie was the girl we dealt with it was a night mare to say the least after 8 hours in the store she had our deal so messed up I asked to speak with her manager which she refused us we were walking out very very unhappy customers and was asked if everything was ok on our way out I said it absolutely was not we just wasted 8 hours and we were not happy he asked if we wanted to speak to the manager which of course yes we did so after speaking to the manager he assured us he was going to make our deal right by honoring the deal we originally had agreed upon so we signed the papers and was promised delivery on the 16th of September for all the furniture as we had just moved her from Portland on the 12th of September so getting excited as the 16th was approaching my husband called on the 14th of September to confirm delivery and was told someone has went into the system and put a stop on our delivery wow are you kidding me we are sitting on the floor in our new home and they are telling us now we have to wait six more days because of there in house mistake I am wishing now I would have went anywhere else to purchase my furniture we are very unhappy with Ashley furniture ...
Arrived in Eugene to an empty and somewhat shabby house and literally no furniture. Riley was a great help without being pushy, and managed to find us everything we needed and even managed to get the delivery earlier than expected so we can say goodbye to the air mattress!

My husband and I were trying to find a sofa we liked and were chased out of the store by pushy salespeople (who wouldn't have to try so hard if the furniture were well made). It's one thing to sell low-quality couches, but at least train your sales staff.
Me and my wife decided to stop by to see the new opening, and we are glad we did! When we first walked through the doors there was someone there to greet us, and she briefly explained to us the sale they were running that day. After wondering around, we ran into Riley while looking at some power sofas. He was very friendly, and seemed knowledgeable about the products and was able to answer all of our questions. I haven't made any purchases yet, but as soon as my house closes I feel confident Ashleys is where I will be purchasing everything I'll be needing for my new home!

They have a 40 thousand dollar machine to test what mattress is right for you. I heard they have good financing options. Ask for Adam, he is really friendly and helpful.
