Beyond impressed with the service and selections! I was greeted right away by a very nice gentleman, Chad Rice, he told me what areas had what style and let me walk around without being a shadow like in most stores. He asked me simple questions about my style and what I was trying to go for. He was very knowledgeable about the furniture they had in stock, what was popular, what was more traditional and also the more simple styles as well. He knew would stand the test of time fashion and craftsmanship. When I came back to finalize the sale, we talked about the pieces I was getting, then the purchase options as well as delivery. He didn’t try to strong arms into lamps, decor or anything else which was so refreshing!!! We sat at the table to finish up the paperwork and he went over everything in detail. I left feeling important and beyond satisfied. Others in the store were wonderful as well. It was like being around friends, not sales people. When I redo more rooms in my house I will go to the Anderson outlet!! I have already recommended them to a friend looking to redo some rooms.

I should have listened to everyone when they said NOT to use Ashley and I will be warning everyone from using Ashley in the future. This whole experience with them has been a nightmare. My husband and I walked into Ashley Furniture store on Saturday, November 22 looking for a dining room set for Black Friday. We found one we loved right away, as it was a Door Buster Sale! Right at the front of the store. We purchase the table and asked when we’d be receiving it. The MANAGER says in a week. We were very excited because that meant we’d get the table before Thanksgiving. She then backtracked and said she was being too optimistic and estimated 4 weeks. We were still excited because we’d get the set in time for Christmas. Then the nightmare began. Thanksgiving came and went, no updates. Christmas came and went, no updates. New Years came and went and the order hadn’t even been PROCESSED!! I tried calling the store THREE times, and I was literally GASLIGHTED and told that’s what happens when I order a CUSTOM TABLE! This dining room table set was a Door Buster Sale! How could it possibly be custom and that information not be shared with us?? Following this, I asked them what the refund policy was because I’m going to cancel the order and look elsewhere. They told me that there was a 10% cancellation fee of $166 and that my cancellation ticket would be processed. THEY DIDN’T EVEN PUT THE TICKET IN!! I got a message from someone on their delivery side weeks later asking if I was ready for my delivery on January 22…. I kid you not, TWO MONTHS after the original order and time the MANAGER of the store lied to us about. I told the man who messaged me that I have been trying to cancel the order for weeks and no one has been cooperative. He responded that he could cancel the order but there would still be a 10% cancellation fee. At this point, I’m beyond furious and incredibly disappointed. I told him we would not be paying that fee. He literally never responded to me. A couple days later, we check our bank account and see that Ashley refunded our money but $300 was missing!! Double what the cancellation fee was!! My husband went up to the store to settle this once and for all and was told, “That manager isn’t here today, she’ll have to call you to resolve this.” END OF THE STORY WE ARE MISSING $300 AND THE SO-CALLED “MANAGER” STILL HAS NOT CALLED US BACK. OUR ISSUES ARE STILL UNRESOLVED. Ashley Home Furnishings will NEVER get a recommendation from me or my husband ever again.

We came into the Anderson SC location to find and purchase a loveseat. We were approached by Ms Karen Wood. She was very polite, and personable, she understood what we were looking for and guided us to what we were looking for. Ms Karen was then talking with us about a particular bed/mattress. We were not at the moment in the market for a new bed/mattress. We left to check other places and came back as we promised. We are unable to afford the mattress/bed at this time, but we did in fact get our loveseat!! Thank you so very very much Ms Karen!! See you on the next trip when we will be purchasing the bed/mattress!!

Bought a Bedroom suit, with an adjustable bed . Had it roughly 4 months , A leg has fallen out and the remote doesnt work anymore . I've called service multiple multiple times and they act like they just hope that I go away, because they no longer make the adjustable bed that I have. As soon as thanksgiving's over, i'm gonna call every day until something is done. But right now, getting anyone to help me with the issue that i'm having seems like, it's impossible

I went into store yesterday and was greeted by Dennis upon arrival. I told him I was just looking and he said to let him know if I needed anything. I spent a good hour in the store just looking and he didn’t ask questions or wasn’t pushy. Just let me walk around which was wonderful. I finally found a sofa I loved and he answered all my questions I had. The entire experience was so pleasant. I even went back later in the day and added an item to my order. I highly recommend Ashley Furniture and the selection is amazing and the employees are very knowledgeable.

This is a very nice store! A good selection of furniture that looks nice, isn't too gaudy, and seems reasonably priced. Ask for Dennis, he's great.

Wayne and I had a blast shopping at the Anderson SC location. Dennis greeted us without being pushy. We had so much fun and spent a lot of time talking about our concerns with our current mattress. He recommended to try an Ashley mattress. We were sold almost immediately. Once we decided that’s what we wanted, we headed out front to do paperwork for delivery when we passed an Ashley sectional. The fabric Was the selling point. We even had some complications with measuring and seeing if the sectional would fit in our home. We actually canceled it, but upon talking to Dennis and reviewing the measurements (he actually measured it on the floor ON HIS DAY OFF), we decided to re-order it and it was delivered within a week. The delivery crew was amazing. They had everything set up mattress on the bed frame in under an hour. They were very polite and did not leave a mess. We highly recommend Ashley to Everyone.

The Sales Lady Leanna Was Very Nice

If I could give zero stars, I would. The customer service was absolutely terrible. I was not informed that my purchase was non returnable until I had paid and it was written on my receipt. When trying to call, I was basically told since I did not buy a "luxury" mattress, there were no returns available. When I called the store, I was told to call the manufacturer and then the manufacturer told me they did not have my information. It was a run around and I felt bamboozled.

It’s came in bits and pieces when I was told that everything was in stock and then once I got delivery of everything I still had pieces that were not put together and was told they were unable to put it together for me when I was assured by customer service that they would! I will not order from Ashley furniture again ! $9k is what I spent and it’s been stressful every step!

The show room was clean and well lit! Will be back in the future.

Was looking to buy a couch. Walked around the store, took our time (around 10-15 minutes) and wasn’t even greeted until we were leaving the store. Made it all the way to the back of the store and pretty much every corner. We were literally looking for employees to talk to, and they couldn’t be bothered. Felt a little snubbed.

I bought a house full of furnirture and with that came 2 full sized beds. I cannot find a boxspring to fit them. I tried calling the store with no help. The box springs are all too big and the bed frame does not look complete on one of the beds. I need some help.

***UPDATE*** I FINALLY SUBMITTED A CLAIM THRU MY CC COMPANY AND RECEIVED MY REFUND FOR THE ONE CXL ITEM I AM CONVINCED ASHLEY HIJACKS YOUR MONEY FOR AS LONG AS POSSIBLE! STILL NO UPDATE OR EST DELIVERY DATE FOR THE REST OF THE FURNITURE ORDER AND WE ARE NOW GOING ON 7-WEEKS. I AM NOW MAKING A CLAIM WITH THE BBB******* I placed a large order in the Anderson SC store on July 8 (two orders totaling $10K). I have a living room and 3 bedrooms I needed to furnish. They were really great and were very knowledgable in helping me choose items and place the order that day. I specifically asked about the avail. since we have an empty house and was told it would deliver in 1-2 weeks. NOW we are 4-weeks later, and we have only received the couch and 2-night stands. We are sleeping on mattresses on the floor in 3 of the bedrooms. I have spent a ridiculous amount of time chasing down this order to get the status and it keeps getting pushed out every week (now it is August 21). I would not even know about the continual delays if I wasn't on top of it bc the company does not send out or call w/ any status updates. That should be the least that they do with this big of a delay. On top of this, they cant even process a simple credit. I cancelled 1-item on the order (24 hrs after placing it) and should have received the credit back on my card 3-5 biz days later. Once again, I am still waiting for that-- 4-weeks later --even after talking with the store directly and corporate customer service 3 times! Something is seriously wrong with this company and I would think twice about purchasing furniture that is not stocked/readily available in-store. With the way things are going, I likely will have no choice but to cancel this whole order and start over.

Don't waste your time going to the store. Order everything online! Instore is marked up by 60%. Then they order you the wrong things. I had a long list and they ordered me the wrong mattress costing me an extra $150. I was quoted a price by one sales person for $599 went back the very next day and they would not honor it and charged me $650. They are thieves!!!! It's absolutely disgusting how they take advantage!

He made it look as if I was getting a $50 discount, but inturn, the $50 was added to the delivery fee. Therefore, I think its going to be very hard doing anymore business with you.

My partner and I went to Ashley a few days ago because we were interested in one of their sectionals. The store in general had a decent selection, and the first time we came in, Sean was very kind to us. What really turned us off was when we came back in to the store to see if we could negotiate on the price of a couch. The woman we talked to (and was one of the managers) was honestly just not friendly. I would actually prefer a salesperson who engages in empty small talk than someone who is standoff-ish. When my partner was asking her questions about the support system for the couch, she answered in ways that made us feel stupid for even asking. Then when she showed us the price of the couch we were interested in, and we showed her the same couch on THEIR website that was listed for $300 LESS than the one in store, she just seemed annoyed and inconvenienced. The entire interaction with her just solidified that we didn’t want to purchase here. We ended up finding almost the exact same couch at Rooms To Go, for $800 less, that would be shipped in 1.5 weeks compared to Ashley’s projected 8-14 weeks for delivery, all while having a great experience with their sales department. Of course, this was just our experience and may not be reflective of others’, but we were not impressed.

Dylan did a good job getting the order taken care. I am a little frustrated by the length of time it is taking my sectional. I know it is not his fault, but don’t sell stuff you don’t have or have to wait 3 weeks to get in. I am not dissatisfied with Dylan and he did great job. This will be the last purchase I make from Ashley home store.

I went there yesterday. The whole staff are really friendly and nice. Dylan was the one who sold me my electric couch. I knew what I wanted he took me straight to what I asked for. There was never any well I'd you buy this and this it will be cheaper , when really it would be way more expensive. They are salesman but they don't try to talk you into buying stuff. He knew what I wanted didn't try to get me a recliner to go with it or a love seat. Even the guys that move the furniture around and set the store up where helpful. I can't member the guys name. But he was happy to help me as well. And thats not even his job. They also are delivering and setting it up for a great price. And they have a guy that will come and get your old couch for a good price. Dylan and I sat and talked for 30 minutes after I paid. He was just a really well put together young man. It looks like thats pretty much all they hire. Because everyone was helpful. I definitely gave a 5 star review. He even gave me some info to help me in the future to save some money to get a stand up recliner, because I have a major surgery coming. As long as God is willing and I make it that long. Not to be a downer. But my point about that was he wasn't thinking commission he was trying to help me because i told him what I needed in the future. So yeah great experience I will never buy furniture anywhere else, and they are not a mom and pop, That's Ashley's, but it felt more like a mom and pop experience because it wasn't about over selling you. It wad getting you what you wanted. And they still had memorial day sales a good bit after memorial day.. so Thankyou Dylan and to the staff at Ashley's. It was nice to walk out with a good deal. But they treated me like they new me. That was what was the most impressive thing to me. That and after I saw what I wanted he didn't even ask if I wanted to add anything else or pressure me to buy more. So definitely A+

Avoid this garbage company at all costs!!! I made the mistake of purchasing a houseful of furniture from the Greenville, SC store a couple of years ago. They delivered 3 chairs. One was used, and they never replaced it despite countless phone calls. Now, all the chairs are falling apart, and I have to hire someone to repair them. I bought a 3-piece sectional. It was supposed to come with 3 pillows. They sent one. I happened to find a matching one at Hampton Furniture in Anderson (and they were nice enough to give it to me at no charge). I still have not gotten the other 2 pillows from Ashley. I got a bedroom set. A few months after they delivered it, the guy who was painting my house called me into the bedroom. He had moved the dresser to paint the wall behind it, and there was a huge hole in it covered with the stickers that were on the bed. So-called customer service was a rude woman who would not let me speak. I went to the local store, and told them what had occurred, and the manager was very sympathetic. He said his brother was the manager of the Greenville store, and he would tell him to call me. He never did. I went back the the Anderson store and told the manager that his brother never called. He went to his office and came back to say he would be calling within the hour. That was almost 2 years ago. Still waiting for that phone call. That's just the tip of the iceberg. It would take a book to tell you about all the lies, ineptitude and the crappy quality of their merchandise. If they were the only company selling beds, and I needed one, I would sleep on the floor. SHOP ELSEWHERE!!!!!!!!!

About a year ago I purchased a king-sized bedroom suite of of the floor of Ashley's. There were issues securing the right parts to assemble the bed correctly. My mother in law has neuropathy and has a very difficult time ambulating we came to the Ashley furniture store in Anderson Sc, in search of a sofa. Avery approached us instantly and asked how he could help us. We explained what we were looking for and he acknowledged that my mother in law had a physical limitation he instantly offered a wheelchair and very politely showed us around the store while pushing her through the store in search of our request. He was extremely helpful and informative very knowledgeable of every detail of the items in the store and their locations. He actually sold us on a tempur mattress and base that we had previously explored a purchase from mattress firm. We did not instantly confirm on the purchase because we needed to make sure everything would fit he provided us with the dimensions and all information on the sofa and bed. He provided his work number late that evening we messaged him to let him know that everything would fit he insistently messaged back to let us know he could meet us the next day because that worked for us. My husband and i came the next day while Avery was preparing our paperwork we looked at living room furniture he acknowledged and asked what we were looking for and showed us the perfect match for our needs. We would definitely recommend Ashley furniture store and Avery.

I have bought Ashley furniture before and appreciated the quality. When I bought my first set, I bought it as a happy divorce to me gift. It was perfect. This visit was to check on quality for some outdoor furniture, and it was exactly what we were looking for. We haven't had a chance to put the chairs together. If they don't meet my expectations, I'll be amending this post. The staff were extremely helpful but not pushy.
