Opened up an Ashley account through Synchrony Bank with a credit limit of $15,000. Started with a purchase of a new dining room set for our new home in the amount of $2,024.49 in early August. The statement showee a balance over $4,000.00. To this day, still hasn't been resolved, even after a half dozen calls to both the Anderson SC store and Synchrony. No one to realize the issue, very frustrating. Next step will be to get a lawyer. Never again!

I have spent SO much money at this place. Bedrooms sets to living room sets (3) dinning room sets. I didn’t have any problems until my last purchase. DIAMOND CARE IS A SCAM! I was told by the sales person in 2020 that sold me my queen bedroom set that if anything happens to my furniture in 5 yrs diamond care would fix it it’s been 4 yrs. The finishing has come off the dresser and nightstands i sent a ticket to diamond care they said it was normal wear and tear and they wouldn’t replace it and only did single items not several items. BUT last time i checked I bought diamond care for the SET not ONE item from the set? 😐 I got in contact with my most recent sales rep he said he would reach out to the manager at this location. It took almost 2 weeks to hear anything back and honesty the lack of care you receive after you purchase something from Ashley is just so unprofessional and unacceptable. This is the last purchase i will make with them. The quality of finishing is poorly made. I was suppose to get a call today from the manager and then once I explained how I wanted a refund on set up since my husband and i did it (not the ppl that brought our furniture to the house) and also take diamond care off my order (it doesn’t cover anything) i got a “well if that is all you need I don’t need to call you today” oh but yes you do, because I’m a paying customer and my furniture you sold me within the allotted time period is messed up and you need to stand behind your word and fix it. Bad business here. Messy to say the least. Drop off for my furniture was SUPPOSE TO BE 8am -11am the men called me at 6:30 am and arrived at 7 am. 🙄 Not happy.

My husband and I decided it was time to upgrade our small sleeper to a more comfortable sleeper sofa for our granddaughters. I went to Ashley furniture and met LeAnn. She was helpful, but not pushy. I returned 3 times and she helped me measure and try out the sofa. When I purchased it, she gave me great advice and a better price than originally quoted. I was so impressed, I plan on returning next summer for additional pieces.

Me and my husband entered the showroom yesterday and was greeted by the most helpful young gentleman, Alex/Alec. He asked what we were looking for and showed us what the showroom had. He did not follow us around like a “hound dog” however was available for any questions we had. After trying different chairs we came out with something totally unexpected but very very pleased. And just so happens we are getting a very quick delivery. Could not ask for a more polite experience from the store showroom. We will go back and ask for Alex/Alec.
We were shopping for a couple of recliners, and we were greeted by Chad, a minute or so after we entered the showroom. Chad was very knowledgeable and he was a true professional. He showed us many different brands and then gave us some time to look around for ourselves. Alex!!!!!!!!! He was amazing and had us in and out within minutes. Edit / Update : The bed frame I purchased in the store from was set to be delivered on 8/6/24. I was sent updates on delivery time and tracking of drivers location on the delivery day. Very convenient for making sure someone is home when delivered, but also not having to take entire day off of work to wait for a delivery. What was ordered was a bed frame unassembled and a full size mattress. What was delivered was a mattress and half of a bed frame. HALF of a bed frame. I asked the delivery driver where the rest of the frame was and I was told that is all I got it. I tried calling the store to see what was going on. Nobody answered or returned my call. I put the box in the car and brought I to Ashley to see if they could get the other half of the bed frame or refund the bed frame because nobody can use half of a bed frame. I was told in the store that a claim would be submitted and I would get the other half within days. I even told the lady at the desk that if this was going to be another 2 weeks I just want a refund. I was assured it would not be another 2 weeks for the other half to be delivered. I was sent a text for a review of my delivery. I told them I didn't receive the full bed frame and still needed the other half of the bed frame. The person texting said I only paid for half a bed frame so I wouldn't be getting anything else. I sent them the photos of what I ordered and what I received and I was sent a text saying the conversation was ended. I did receive a call from Alex the next day saying I would receive the missing half of the bed frame on 8/20/24. So another 2 week for the other half of the bed frame to arrive. Then I received the text from the delivery department saying I would receive the missing parts on 8/20/24 and it included a link to verify the parts being delivered. Once I clicked on the link it displayed very clearly that this delivery is Canceled. And the quantity of delivery is 0. So once more I reached out to Ashley to find out what is going on. I was told by Ashley that they will not be delivering the missing parts on 08/20/24 because they don't have them. They also said they have no idea when or if the other half will be delivered but they will keep in touch. This is a seemingly never ending nightmare dealing with this company. Will update again if I ever actually get the other half of the bed frame or if they give a refund. The nightmare is over. Received the other half of the bed frame today. Won't ever get anything from them again but I am happy that the bed frame is finally complete. 🙌

Alex in the Anderson SC Ashley store was awesome assisting me order my furniture! He went over all details and tripled check all purchased items! The only problem that I do have “not with the salesman Alex” is I also wanted to purchase the evolve battery packs for my new sectional which is from Ashley as well but unfortunately the manger/ general manager takes the keys home and they are the only ones that can unlock the doors! This blows my mind especially knowing how much they are and someone telling you yes we have them but unfortunately l’ll take your money but you have to get your product once the manger comes in! Please make this make sense. If this key is that important why did you take it home to stop a sale because I literally ordered it while in the store from another store just because this doesn’t even make sense that I’m on your time with my money. Come up with a better solution like have a sign out sheet of who goes in this room or maybe lock the key in a certain place in the store and assign an employee on the schedule that is responsible for that key! I think I should contact corporate about this issue because I don’t see a business owner ok with loosing out on money !

My reclining sofa has been broken since two days after I got it in February of 2024. It is now July and it still isn’t fixed. Please know you can only return something and get your money back 2 days after purchase not delivery. If something seems off send it back as soon as they bring it in the house it’s the only way you get to exchange. They are rude and do not care that you have back issues and you bought the couch to try to help resolve them and now you have your money tied up in a couch that’s broken and you can’t get a new one. I hope Karma gets these people for selling horrible products and charging people a fortune. The one photo was the one I got today saying my part had been delayed again. The second was after they fixed and my couch still doesn’t line up. It sticks out at the top. Horrible!!

Made a purchase in March, before delivery occurred, chairs we bought went on sale. Asked April if we should cancel order to get the sales price, she told us that it would be adjusted. Three months later, several phone calls and visit to the store, no price adjustment has been made. During store visit I met with Chad, and he showed me the email he was sending to the manager to get this addressed, that was two billing cycles ago. 6/21 update- Was told the store that blew me off for three months was told to contact me. Two days have gone by, still nothing.

UPDATE: While the salespeople were lovely, the rest of the process hasn’t been lovely at all. We ordered a sectional in the store and were told it should arrive 6 weeks later. Zero communication and the online tracker just kept pushing the delivery date back further each day. The sectional didn’t arrive for more than 9 weeks and then it had mismatched footings and a ripped dust cover underneath! There are also a few manufacturer errors in the back of the sectional that need to be addressed. The delivery folks (sweet as could be!) documented the issues and then Ashley Furniture texted us with an installation date MORE THAN A MONTH LATER! What?!? We called to address and were quickly dismissed with zero acknowledgment of the inconvenience. Really disappointed in this whole process. Original: Chad Rice was extremely patient with our family as we searched for the perfect sectional for our living room. We came in multiple times and he was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating - ultimately helped us find the perfect piece and were thrilled! Thank you Chad and all of Ashley Furniture!

This business was very clean plus no smells! We were greeted shortly after entering the premises. Sales Consultant Dylan Miller ran to meet us and showed us the store. He’s very pleasant, acknowledgeable, efficient, plus if not 100% sure about something will ask a superior (Chad/very nice). My hubby and I were not rushed to make a purchase but finally we put in an order for his new electric/battery recliner (early Father’s Day gift). The worst place to shop. Never ever want to even be there again. The worst customer service I have ever seen so far in my life. (And I am 62and have seen a lot). The sales person completely ignored my call and my text. The corporate people that I talk to (twice) didn’t seem to care much. I hate the place.

This is a very long review but once you read it, you’ll know why. I ordered our furniture on 24th March. At that time, I told them that we need furniture by 30th March. They could not deliver it on that date but said will deliver on 3rd April. So, we said “okay”. On April 3rd they were supposed to be there between 1:30pm and 4:30pm. I called to check on the delivery at 4pm and were told that the delivery was cancelled. Nobody called to inform me about the cancellation. I spent 2.5hrs waiting on them. So now, I was told that it will be delivered on 6th April. Fine. I agreed because you think we had a choice? I was also told that they will expedite the delivery or compensate for the delay. I am still waiting to hear about the compensation (Pic 1). Then I get a message that it is scheduled to be delivered on 10th April between 10:30a and 1pm. Once again, I had to agree and confirm the new delivery schedule. Then I get a follow up message that if somebody is not there to receive the delivery, they will charge us $79 for re-delivery. Who is going to compensate me for the time spent on 3rd April waiting on them when they cancelled delivery without notifying me? On 10th April, I received message at 10:19am that the delivery truck will be there in 2 minutes (Pic 2). After 45 mins of wait, called Ashely and were told they are on their way. Within 2 mins of this conversation, I received another automated message that the delivery time has changed and they will inform me of the new delivery time later (Pic 3). CAN THIS GET ANY MORE REDICULOUS? The saga continues. I called back Ashley at 1:12pm. Now I am given the delivery window of 2pm – 2:30pm. Again, nobody bothered to let me know. We had to call to find out. BTW, the only way to talk to the store manager is to drive to the store. OMG bear with me because this is something else. At 2:42pm, I get a call from the delivery guys “if I wanted the furniture delivered today or would I like to reschedule?” CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS. By now, I am sure it sounds like I am making this up. Trust me, this is truly happening to me. Hell ya, I want it delivered today. WOW. Finally, the delivery truck showed up at 3:45pm. Had to return one item because it was damaged. IT got scheduled to be delivered on 13th April On 13th April after sitting home all day, the delivery got cancelled because it was on the wrong truck. Now they are trying to re-schedule on the 17th April. I AM JUST TIRED AND HAVE HAD IT WITH ASHLEY. I, and the family, are only glad that we did not order mattress from them otherwise we would be sleeping on the floor for all these nights. I am just waiting to see how much they are going to compensate for all the aggravation I had to go thru. Our take on this experience: Order only if you can take multiple time off from work to wait on delivery of your order. I would definitely not buy from Ashely in future or recommend to anybody. P.S.: it will not let me attach the pictures. we called the phone number that was given by (the owner). no one called back. if you are not interested in talking to me please stop posting and sending this numbers to show off.
My mother in law, my husband and I came to shop for multiple pieces of furniture for my in-law’s new home. We were greeted by Dylan immediately and he proceeded to give us a quick introduction to the store then allowed us to look around. He checked on us periodically and was able to answer all questions and was very helpful! I highly recommend visiting Ashley Furniture and requesting Dylan if you have any furniture needs!

I would rate at zero if possible. I purchase a sofa with Ashley Furniture June 2022 with the extended warranty. For the past 6 months I have in vain tried to have our sofa repaired as it is sagging and makes creaking noises when sat on. However, somehow none of this is covered under any warranty. I would not recommended purchasing a sofa with Ashley Furniture unless you want to replace the sofa within 18 months.
If I could I would give them a - 10. I canceled an order 3 days after I made it said I would have my money back in 7 to 10. Now have been calling all day keep telling me they will get a manager to call me back but they want. I guess I will have to go up there and try to find out where my money is 😡😡😡😡😡😡

We bought a couch in February 2023 and they tell us all the great things about 12 months interest free. One thing they didn’t tell us is that if we don’t pay it off in those 12 months we would be hit with about thousand dollars of interest. My balance was 1800 in January then went up to 2800 in February which was quite a shock. I always made double the minimum payment to pay it off quickly. Anyways, I dealt with it after reading the reviews of this happening to so many others. I make 103 dollar payment in March and then login to make my payment this evening and says I was charged another 74 dollars in interest so I basically only made a 30 dollar payment last month. That is actually insane and Ashley is scamming their customers. I have bought 3 couches from Ashley’s in the last few years but will never purchase again. I will share my experience with others. To add to all of these issues, we couldn’t actually start to use our couch until August of 2023 due to being delivered with multiple broken bases in February 2023. How is it fair that we are charged the interest fee when we couldn’t even use the couch for 6 months. I ended up just paying the almost 3k balance off this evening because how can I afford to keep paying on this couch every month and the balance isn’t decreasing. Horrible experience that I wanted to share so others do not have this same experience!

My boyfriend and I came to Ashley's to look at some living room sets. We were greeted by Dylan who then showed us around. He was very good with helping us to figure out what we were looking for and narrowing down our options. I wasn't expecting to leave the store buying a furniture set. Me and my girlfriend went into Ashley furniture, and were immediately greeted as we walked in. Dylan came over to help us and listened to all of our needs for the items we were looking for. He listened to our specific needs and asked questions about our preference, being instrumental in us narrowing down our decision to the exact couch and love seat option we found. He answered all of our questions and our tangents with patience and friendliness. All in all, could not recommend more. The options and the pricing were fairly affordable, but could be an issue for people with lower credit or limited means. They do ask for a "deposit" upfront, which they recommend to be 10% of the total purchase price. It was a lovely experience, and will definitely be going back for another few items as time goes on.

Worst Ashley experience ever, they prolong your process when you have issues for NO reason, I will not recommend this location or any of Ashely store again. What should be an easy exchange process according to their terms which I have met, and they want to drag their feet and say it is stuck in approval, I purchased a Tempurpedic Mattress $5K and causes me nothing but pain and chiropractor visits!! All Ashley stores are independently run and my former store who helped me furnish 3 homes would have never treated me this way!! Buyer Beware, and their Delivery Fee is ridiculous at $499.99 to deliver a single mattress!!! I should have just gone to another business!!!

I felt so comfortable with him the first time that when I had to come back the second time for more furniture, I went straight to him. I don't want to deal with anyone else besides Alex, he's my guy. It was my first time in an Ashley furniture store but. I was excited about their furniture and quality, especially the kind that cats can't damage. Chad, the manager, was very helpful with explaining and quoting prices.
My wife had hip replacement surgery and couldn’t get any rest the first day home, lying flat on her back wasn’t offering any comfort. She said a recliner would assist in being able to find her comfort zone. Ashley Furniture had the answer, an all electric chair that she could control. They let me take the display chair as I wanted to get it home and couldn’t wait a few days, my wife needed relief. The recliner has made a huge impact on much needed rest in between therapy sessions. Any future purchases of furniture will be made at Ashley’s store on Clemson Blvd here in Anderson.!! Steven Justus was more than a salesman pushing a product, he helped me more than I can ever say, it truly made a difference in our lives. Thank you Steven.

Felt as if I was buying a used car. Salesperson quoted pricing that was different than on the product itself or online, then saying I could not use 60 mo SAC on sale prices when price online was same as in store and stated 60 mo SAC was available. Finally get pricing worked out and 60 mo financing issue resolved and he tells me I have to put 10% down? I was pre-approved for way more than transaction. Then he tells me delivery is $299, while if purchase online it is only $99 for delivery and set up? So I have to drive to their warehouse 70 miles away to pick up my sofa and loveseat to avoid paying $300 delivery fee (would have paid the $99 advertised online) Salesman has worked there 7 years supposedly. Bottom Line: I will never buy from the Anderson SC store again, nor recommend that store to anyone. I guess we should have figured something was amiss at that store cause there were no other customers there at 6pm. We actually thought they were closed as they had no outside lights on.

I bought a sofa and loveseat and they were delivered 12-14-23. The middle part of the loveseat popped off and something wasn't right. One side was leaning and would throw you in a hole, making my back and neck hurt. I sent pictures and talked with a representative in detail about the problem. She said parts would be delivered and someone would come into my home to repair. The package was delivered to my house, but it only had parts to fix the center piece. When the repairman came a couple weeks later, he had to order more parts. It's been 3-4 weeks and still no parts. It's been almost 3 months I've not been able to use my lovesest. Ashley is great at selling, but the customer service after the sale is horrible. I can't wait to get this piece fixed so I can re-sale. I'll NEVER buy ASHLEY again!

This is a followup to a 5-star review I posted right after ordering furniture. The buying experience was great, but they don’t stand behind their products. We bought double and single power recliners, and the single one has never been very comfortable. We asked to have someone come to our home to make adjustments. Each time (2) it took weeks for a response, but since they finally came I’m giving 2 stars. After realizing that it wasn’t going to get better we asked if we could exchange for something comparable. We were told no, that in the fine print it explains that once it’s delivered you’re stuck with it. We spent significant $ there, but it will be our last time. They were quick and agreeable on the sales end, but they did not provide good customer service after the sale. Buyer beware.

I shop at Ashley a lot and usually have a good experience. However, I just recently went in to purchase an adjustable bed frame. The sales person sold me an upgraded model, telling me the model she was describing was a certain price. I ended up paying for and receiving a cheaper model with less bells and whistles. So, I got what I paid for, but it wasn’t what was sold to me. And although they contacted me about it several times, the resolution was to keep what I bought or go through a WHOLE big process to pay them more for the one we talked about. No thanks. Very disappointed.

This store is awful. Said I was approved for furniture and took 500 deposit and then called from a co workers personal phone and said I wasn’t approved . I asked for my money back and they keep saying it’s coming but it’s been almost 2 months and I still haven’t received my money back. I’m currently seeking an attorney to get involved because this should be illegal. I do not recommend this place I heard several complaints while in store as well about money being taken from others.
We had a great time shopping for a recliner with Leanna Mares. She was very friendly and professional. She was so good that we wound up buying a sofa along with the recliner. Now as long as we receive the sofa and recliner in the 3-4 weeks as promised, we will be very happy.

horrible products. i'm on the first step of assembly and the holes do not line up with the hinge holes. i wrote to customer support and they respond they will maybe get back to me in 3 or 4 days. i'm returning it.
Purchased love seat and sofa, it was delivered a month later damaged. Repair shipped the replacement item, when we scheduled the repair, the repair team texted they were on the way... but never showed Tried to call customer service for a week, but they claim they are having technical problems. They can text to say they are on the way, but can't find my order... Nice looking furniture. But that is where it ends...
Sales person was great, the problem is it's going on the 3rd week and called to find out status and the can't tell us because they said there was a system outage for the last 2 weeks. How can a outage be that long? Mean while we're sitting on the floor without furniture. My advice is don't buy from them until there syiis fix, no idea when that will be. Very discusted.
Bought VERY expensive mattress, box springs and pillows. At delivery TOLD them before x springs were too high. I thought we were supposed to get lower height. Calls go to charlotte not the store. Went to store and guy went on computer to “replace “ box spring. Told ua went through and we could leave. Next day received email that no exchanges allowed after delivery accepted. Was told people in store are aware of this rule!!! Went back and talked to our salesperson who was encouraging that it could be made right. Stopped by store a week later and left message for him. Have heard NOTHING. They talk nice but not worth a flip. Found where we can get box springs at MUCH better price. BUYER BEWARE!!!

We purchased two recliners from Chad Rice. He suggested that we purchase the $400 Diamond Care Plus insurance and told us that it would even cover damage from a dog scratching the leather. (I know he will deny this and it is our word against his). Never the less, we did purchase the insurance. We don't allow our dog to get up in the recliners. One night we heard our dog jump in may chair and scratched the seat. Only when I submitted a claim did I find out that the did not cover any damage from a pet. Other than that, we are happy with our recliners. Word of advise, before paying $400 dollar protection insurance, make sure what they do and don't cover when you file a claim.

My wife and I were shopping for a bedroom set. As soon as we walked into the Ashley Furniture Store, we were greeted by Dylan, the salesman. We spoke with him about what we were looking for, and he showed us a few different options. Dylan was VERY knowledgeable about all of the items that we were looking at. Dylan is not one of those PUSHY SALESMEN that try and sell you something that you don't want. After we decided on the bedroom set that we wanted, Dylan made the purchasing process VERY quickly. Hopefully this will get someones attention! Ashley furniture is horrible.First of all, you need to change your email address I haven't found someone who cares yet. Will YOU? I have been lied too repeatedly. I was told my delivery date would be the 14th and guaranteed it by a sales rep Steven in Anderson or else we would not have bought it. I was told that my paperwork had been shredded by someone on the 5th, so I had to go back in to do it over again. I was told that it would not affect my delivery date on the 8th, by the girl redoing the paperwork., and everything was on time on September 8th. Told that someone would email me with a confirmation date. I received that confirmation date for the 14th and confirmed it. I called on the 12th because I had been told I would receive a call with an approximate time for delivery on the 14th. I then find out I don't even have an order. Then after being transferred to the store finally the salesperson says, it's just an approximation time, the order is in. I was told I would be contacted about this by the delivery people not true, it was a lie. Told that I would be called back yesterday evening the 12th a lie by the salesperson. I waited until 3pm today the 13th to start all over again. Was told, so what it happens this way by the salesperson Steven and Manger Brian at the Anderson store. Who said there was nothing they could and that it was out of their hands. Does that sound like people that should be running a store for you, unwilling to try. Ultimately, I would just need to get over it and so what if you cancel the sale.They didn't care because it matters not to them about customer service, we just going to sell it not help out with it. No one has cared so far not the customer care associates which bless their hearts they didn't make the first lie. But they were unwilling to help with the problem just that's the way it is so what if you've been told a lie we do it all the time. Not the supposedly customer care manager specialist, who still said someone had called me a lie NO ONE HAS CALLED ME! That's been the problem I'm just the customer I was promised a delivery we have no furniture, and no one cares. No solution offered, no compensation offered, because no one cares.I've never received a call from anyone, but I did get the confirmation email that said it would be here on time. No body cares. Someone is lying about this situation, or I would not have received an email.The only person making phone calls has been me and lies are all I'm getting. So will you offer a solution or get it handled. Will someone lose a job for lying to a customer. Or is it a way a life to work there. I can promise bad reviews and I talk with hundreds of people every month bad reviews to come with them without a. solution today. By Someone will it be you or do you have any customer left in you.

Edit: The owner of the store called me personally after this review and gave what I felt was a very heartfelt apology. She was extremely kind and apologetic and did everything in her power to rectify the situation. I would be willing to go to Ashley again simply because of the owners actions, I think they speak volumes about her character and her business. My fiancé and I have been in twice the last 3 months and both times, we left upset. While the salesperson who helped us was friendly and knowledgeable, the overall experience both times was just not enjoyable. The first time we were pushed into sitting down and drawing out a layout of our living room less than 5 minutes into being in the store despite the fact we consistently said “we just want to look around” and that was not respected at all. There were even multiple comments made about me and my fiancés weight during our first trip and how we’re “big” so we “would like this option cause it was oversized” or how we “should not buy this option cause it didn’t have a steal base and so it wouldn’t hold up with big people sitting on it”. While it wasn’t said with ill intent, it still should not be said to someone who you met less than 20 minutes before hand or unless me and my fiancé brought it up. We ended up leaving very unhappy. We tried to give it another shot today and while it was better, we again were not able to walk around the store without being pushed into the direction the salesperson wanted. And once again, comments about our weight and us being “big” people were made. We liked some of the options we saw but we won’t be back simply because the sales team was just so overbearing and we don’t need comments being made about our weight every time we come into the store.

Once we made our decision he informed us all the details of the purchase and delivery and how we can finance it and protect our purchase. Overall it was a very great experience. I left that review 3 weeks ago. As Dennis asked me to for some competition they were having to see who got the most reviews. If I could leave 0 stars I would. I purchased 2 couches on August 28th and was told that they would receive the ticket the following Tuesday (September 5th) and call with a delivery date. They did not. We called and was told the delivery date was not until September 28th. Today is September 26th and we called to get a delivery time window because we took off work to receive these couches. We were told that not only did Dennis not put in the delivery ticket, he never reserved those 2 couches at the Spartanburg warehouse as them being PURCHASED. So the couches that were originally ours, that we PAID for, are now with someone else. Now, we have to wait until more couches get delivered to the Spartanburg warehouse for them to be shipped to us in Salem. Which is several weeks out. Dennis also told us he would call with weekly updates as we were unhappy with the fact the delivery date was already a month out. Now, we will be driving to Spartanburg to pick up those couches when they arrive, as we do not trust for this company to even deliver our couches in one piece. It has been a month since we purchased these couches and Dennis has done nothing but lie his way out of everything problem just to make an extra dollar or 2. I am very un happy and will not be buying from this store again. Waiting 2 months for 2 expensive couches is unacceptable. I would love to have this matter resolved, compensated, talked with about, SOMETHING to make sure this does not happen to anyone else.

Amazing selection, beautiful clean store and great prices! I recently purchased a bedroom set and everything I ordered was in stock so I would be able to have it delivered 3 days later! My shopping experience was the best I've EVER had, I was greeted at the door with a big smile from an Associate named April, she explained all of the deals that they had going on and told me if I had questions about anything to let her know. I had finally decided on a set so I found my way back to April who was with another customer, she politely told the other customer that she would be right back to assist him (as he was still deciding). She promptly came to where I was waiting for her and asked if I had found everything okay. We then proceeded to fill out paperwork for their financing option where she explained everything clearly. She also helped me pick out a mattress and an adjustable bed frame! Once I settled on all of my choices, she triple checked with me to make sure all of my items were correct and then sent me an email with all of the information I needed from my purchase. On top of this, she gave me her personal phone number and said if I needed help with anything to do with the delivery or had any questions to text or call her anytime! This was the most quick, easy, and painless purchase I've ever made in any kind of store all due to April. She deserves so much recognition for her positive attitude, professionalism and excellent customer service! (I also want to note that a few other employees asked if I had been helped yet while I was looking around. I didn't catch their names, but they are awesome as well.)

I went in with what I wanted in mind and while they didn’t have the model on the floor, Dylan Miler was able to give me a good idea of the fabric, feel and color using other examples. He also provided me with many options to finance and I was in and out with a purchase in less than 30 mins. Friendly staff with a wide variety of furniture.

I had a great experience in the Ashley store in Anderson (my sales person was amazing), but I had to cancel my order because of the horrific customer service and errors when dealing with the delivery of my new sofa. I had confirmed a delivery time by phone and email for a delivery date of 8/4/23 between 2pm and 5pm. I took a 1/2 day off work to make sure I was home on time for delivery. At 8:30am on 8/4 the delivery driver called and said that he was at my house and was not going to be able to deliver because I wasn't home. I explained that the delivery was not supposed to happen until 2pm, but he said that he couldn't wait on us and left. He also told me that this "happens all the time". I called the customer service line and asked to speak with a manager. The customer service agent, "Ruby", was so rude to me on the phone. I asked to speak to a manager, but she said no manager was available. She said a manager would call me back... but that never happened. The following day, I called customer service back and told them I was still waiting to speak to a manager, but went ahead and rescheduled my delivery for Saturday, 8/12. Today, 8/8/23, I get an email saying I needed to confirm my delivery for Friday, 8/11 (I work that day). I called customer service back and told them there was an error, and my delivery should be for Saturday (per my prior phone conversation). The customer service agent was again very rude and said that there was nothing they could do... Saturday was already full. WHY DO THEY TELL YOU A DELIVERY DATE AND TIME IF THAT MEANS NOTHING TO THE COMPANY. JUST PLAN TO BE HOME 24/7 EVERYDAY UNTIL YOUR FURNITURE GETS DELIVERED. I told them to cancel my order. They said okay. Later, I called the Ashley store in Anderson to verify my order had been canceled. The sales agent was kind and said that he couldn't see anything in the system about the cancelation. He said he would take care of actually canceling my order.
They brag about being the biggest but they certainly are the worst at customer service!!! I went in the store and the guy in there was fantastic. This format won't let me finish the review. Keeps cutt

I cannot recommend Ashley, after incredibly poor customer service and follow-up from the Greenville, SC, store. My wife and I spent $6,500 on home furnishings at the Woodruff Road location. However, an error by the salesperson resulted in us receiving a bedding foundation that is the wrong size. We received no response from the store’s management (Jeff?), despite five calls detailing our issue over a period of more than a week. On my sixth call, I reached an associate at a corporate location who refused our modest request of an exchange for the correct sized foundation, which costs less than $300. A short-sighted decision. My STRONG recommendation is to spend your money elsewhere! Ashley Homestore does not value its customers.

Huge selection available. We knew going in what we wanted and easily found what we were looking for. What impressed me the most was the fact that we didn't have a sales associate on top of us as we browsed. Our sales associate, April, greeted us when we came in, asked if she could help us find anything, and told us to let her know if we needed anything. It's important that stores understand that they are dealing with informed consumers, and that very few want to be "sold" something. This store understands, and will be getting our return business and recommendations.

I called the store to set up delivery on a specific day. The price online was cheaper in the store, however. I had a review posted but took it down cause honestly I have never been the person to talk about someone without looking them straight in the face. But!!! As I read the reply they sent me it is totally obvious that Ashley Furniture has their replies set up automated. From saying thanks for the reply or text us at "THIS" number so we can try to resolve your issue. Well for starters, Ashley Furniture is a multi-million if not billion dollar company, so there shouldn't be not 1 issue!!! But as I read previous reviews I see the problem is strictly in upper management to share holders to owners!!! If someone has as issue, cause honestly we are human, come on Ashley FIX IT... Stop making folks wait weeks to months for something they spent their hard earned money on. REALLY??? Take a little time from the golf course or going on vacation to wherever y'all go and pay attention to the folks who give you those vacations, US... Cause honestly, there are way more different furniture stores out there and I promise you "WAY MORE AFFORDABLE"!!

Do not buy furniture from the store they make promises they can’t keep and then they dodge you and even their own customer service representatives. They told me that they were going to refund me my money and it would be back in my account 2 to 5 days because they told me that my furniture would be delivered within three days and when I called them back to set the delivery date, they told me it would be four weeks on the six day I called customer service to find out that nothing has been done and that they actually attempted to set a date to deliver part of my furniture after I canceled in my opinion, it was a way for them to try to try to dodge giving me my refund. I had to go to the store and talk to a manager for the second time he said oh somebody’s in the system they must be canceling it right now. When I got out to my car I called customer service and asked them if it was canceled and they said yes it was just canceled three minutes ago by the manager that was sitting in front of me.

I am on a soap box tthis morning. BEWARE OF ASHLEY FURNITURE!!!!! In the spring of last year (2022), we bought a lift chair at ASHLEY FURNITURE ($1800. + we bought extended warranty) in anticipation of Gerald having a hip replaced. The first of January of this year, the electrical mechanical part broke. We contacted Ashley, they told us the part would have to be ordered, the part arrived to our house within two weeks, we again advised Ashley, they told us it would be March before they could get a technician out to replace the part. Gerald’s surgery was scheduled for March 1, we asked if it would be possible to expedite the service, we were told March 2, would be as soon as they could get here. We explain Gerald should be coming home that day, but we did not what hour that would be(which did not happen, Gerald went to rehab because of an issue).We rescheduled for March 9, I called to confirm the hour before I went to rehab, they told me they did not have us scheduled. I was upset, I explained we needed the chair because of the surgery. After a long discussion, they turn over to an independent contractor-this guy came out March 23. The part that had been in our carport since January was not even the part for this chair. Gerald again contacted Ashley and was told they would be in touch with a solution within 48 hours-did not happen. Again this morning, we called Ashley, they began to blame the independent contractor. Finally, the guy admitted they had done nothing but said he would order another part, which will have to be shipped and reschedule another technician. Are we looking at another 3 months even if he ordered the correct part this time. BEWARE OF ASHLEY FURNITURE!!!!!! Rant over!

The in store dealing was great. Chad was my salesman. He was nice and very helpful. The problem started with our delivery. The delivery department texted me for our delivery date and time which was a week out and that was fine. Then they had our address down to deliver to as our old address we haven't lived at in 10 years. As soon as I saw that I called to have it changed. The girl said since it had to be changed it would put our delivery date out another week. I asked why they couldn't just change the address? The address we have been at for the last four years is much closer than the prior address. I told the girl I had given all the correct information when I bought the furniture and was told my delivery date then. She said she would see what she could do and would talk to her superiors and let me know that afternoon. I never heard back from her. That evening I tried to call the store where I bought the furniture and my salesman wasn't in. Well the next day I got a phone call to confirm time so I thought everything was straightened out. The girl asked me to verify my delivery address when I told her, THE ADDRESS HAD STILL NOT BEEN STRAIGHTENED OUT!!! She told me the delivery would be the following week! I told her that would not work. I had planned our week around this delivery being made when I was told it would be. It was an Ashley mistake, not mine! We were having company for the weekend and I was counting on this bedroom suite to be delivered before our company arrived. She finally got it set up from Thursday when it was supposed to be, to Saturday. It was delivered before our company arrived but I felt like I went around the world to get it here. It was a mess. I've never had a problem with a delivery as bad as that one was.
Must go here if you’re in need of a bedroom suite or anything. Mr.Dennis helped out a lot. Came in 0 interest came out 100% on my furniture

I had a sectional in mind which she led me to but when I didn’t love it, she immediately had a suggestion for me, and it was perfect! My daughter and I enjoyed our visit. The inventory was ample and varied enough to give us some excellent choices. Lynda, our sales person was greatly appreciated. Her professionalism, knowledge and ability to let us just look around yet still be there to answer questions was a huge factor in our decision to do business with Ashley. However, the total lack of professionalism with one of the other salesmen nearly cost Ashley a substantial sale. We were at the sales kiosk in the middle if our transaction ( Lynda had stepped away to ask her manager a question) when this guy comes up, reaches in front of me while saying “I need this for a minute” and promptly turns the key pad from me and clicks out of my transaction. I told him I was in the middle if a transaction and he acted like he didn’t know and told me it wouldn’t matter. He completed his stuff with his customer even though I had already signed some of the paperwork. Ultimately sent his customer on their way with paperwork that I had signed explaining it would be fine. I find that whole scenario totally unacceptable. Lynda had to start my paperwork over to complete my sale. Even though Lynda was a 10 as a salesperson, This experience definitely makes me question Ashley’s ethics.

The last 3 purchases I’ve made from Ashley have arrived damaged to the point of needing to send back. They called to set up delivery for the broken piece. They neglected to mention the other furniture would arrive. My space was not prepped. My bf asked them to set the pieces at the top of the stairs. They neglected to put the furniture together or take their trash. Wth is the exorbitant delivery fee for when I did most of the work. I’m starting to think I need to look elsewhere for my furniture and delivery needs!

Would have been 4 stars if I was just rating he store here, but the table I bought and was delivered two months ago still can not be used to to a cracked leg. Ashley keeps giving us the run around saying they are going to have the part delivered in a "couple weeks" but after 2 months I'm not holding my breath. They won't give us a refund either.
My mother purchased a dining room set from the Anderson, SC store from sales person Chad Rice. A chair was broken at delivery. We were told to accept the order and someone would be out to fix the problem. To add, the table was delivered on December 8th. Today, January 31st, Ashley Furniture will not return any calls nor has a tech been out to address the matter. The table cost 2400.00. Do not purchase from this store. Customer Service is extremely bad!

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE!!! I spent $2,500 on a leather sectional and it was due to be delivered in one week. It was delivered, brought upstairs, and unwrapped. I noticed that all of the tacks on the left arm part of the couch were not secure and the leather on the back was severely stretched. The delivery driver went to the truck and brought a mallet back upstairs in an attempt to hammer it back together. Surprisingly it did not work... They loaded the couch back up and I was told it was being sent back to the manufacturer. The Chaise lounge that was to be the other side of the couch was in fine condition with only a few frayed stitches so I accepted it as to have a place to sit while I waited another week for the delivery. They made a weak attempt to repair it but nope, still broken. I returned (or in Ashley's wording "refused" delivery) the couch and was told by the woman on the phone that it they would ship a new one, but this time, flag it for inspection prior to shipping. DO YOU NOT INSPECT YOUR PRODUCT TO BEGIN WITH? The best part is they asked if they could do anything else for me and I asked for a discount. The customer service representative explained that they would discuss compensation once all pieces had been delivered. The kick there is according to their policy you can't return the product once it's been accepted into the home. You loose all leverage and they have no reason to compensate you for missing work to accept delivery in the middle of a Tuesday (twice) and for just the general hassle of only having half of a couch sitting in the middle of the room for 3 weeks. This place is a waste of time and money. Heed my warning and don't make the same mistake I made. Attached are pictures of the first couch...And then the same couch again a week later after it had been "repaired". For kicks I threw in a picture of my lonesome chaise.
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE!!! I spent $2,500 on a leather sectional and it was due to be delivered in one week. It was delivered, brought upstairs, and unwrapped. I noticed that all of the tacks on the left arm part of the couch were not secure and the leather on the back was severely stretched. The delivery driver went to the truck and brought a mallet back upstairs in an attempt to hammer it back together. Surprisingly it did not work... They loaded the couch back up and I was told it was being sent back to the manufacturer. The Chaise lounge that was to be the other side of the couch was in fine condition with only a few frayed stitches so I accepted it as to have a place to sit while I waited another week for the delivery. Not good Experience… Bought a new Recliner for my husband . They brought a different one than the one I ordered in The Show room . Have had a hard time with them making it right . Finally after 2 trips to the store in Anderson . I had to call my bank and start a dispute. I told them I wanted my correct chair I ordered the first time . It was not corrected . After the first time I went called the bank and they made it right . Now I can’t get them to pick up the wrong chair that was ordered . It’s back and forth with Cooperate office . The delivery people were careful and professional but my chair was damaged when they took it out of the box. Very disappointed to have to wait for a replacement or refund. Edit 3:.... It's embarrassing I have to keep adding to this but wow. Never trust anyone's word who works at this location. I Calle corporate (when trying to call the listed number you go through them before reaching this location) and they informed me nothing had changed as Dennis promised. I am waiting a call back from him. It has been months and months of trying to deal with these people and the ONLY good thing I have to say is they make you feel like they care. They don't though. Please don't shop here. Edit 2: One of the managers there, Dennis, was very helpful and very apologetic due to our communication issues. +1 star for customer service. Thank you Dennis! Edit: we ended up cancelling our couch (still purchased 2 purple pillows through Ashley- they're great 10/10) and communication has been severely frustrating. The sales rep gave us his number but was extremely difficult to contact, his voicemail box was full, never answered calls, and rarely texted back. I tried to cancel the couch through him and it never happened. I had to contact management directly to ensure that it happened (weeks after he said he did it). So while we loved the couch, and maybe would have purchased again at a later date, I will not be returning to this Ashley location. Deducting 3 stars :( sorry Dylan We had a great experience here after looking at a few other stores with no luck. Dylan Miller helped us find our new couch super easily and helped us feel comfortable about our purchase! Thanks Dylan!

I had a pleasant experience shopping yesterday shopping for a new recliner for my husband is over 6 feet tall. My salesman was Steven and he was very patient , bringing out a measuring tape to physically measure extended lengths of open recliners. He also made sure the floor price of the item I selected matched the internet price. Some items would've taken longer than I wished to arrive here , however, that is simply something beyond the scope of the people on the floor. Would I shop there again? Most certainly.

I need to edit my review. When we went in to buy the furniture everything was great! Our sales associate Dylan Miller was really nice, told us to call him if we ever had any issues with delivery or anything else, and it was a good experience (we got 2 couches, a bedframe and a mattress). I gave 5 stars and it was great IN STORE. However, once we signed our signature to pay we were immediately forgotten about and the whole order went awful. The communication between the different departments at Ashley is terrible. We had problems starting from trying to set up a delivery date back in the beginning of August all the way until 11/9 when everything was just resolved- yes, you read that right, it was a 3 month ordeal getting everything resolved. We paid for delivery and assembly but the people delivering the furniture didn't assemble anything so we stayed up until 2:00 am trying to do it ourselves because we had no bed to sleep on. They also got dirty hand prints on the mattress cover and they broke the couch trying to get it in the house, but we did not notice it until the next day because it was a cracked board in the back and bottom of the couch. We texted Dylan and he said he would take care of it (like he said he would do in the store if we had any issues) and to send him pictures etc... but ultimately he ghosted us and we never heard another word, despite reaching out several times. Trying to get all the issues resolved was a nightmare w/ their customer service because no one returns your phone calls and you cannot ever talk to the same person twice. Its up to the person you're talking to accurately put everything in the notes and try and help, but that obviously wasn't happening and we were told different things from different people. This is the first time I have ever complained with a company and it really sucks that Ashley Furniture took away from our moving experience into our new home. I regret buying any furniture from them and never will buy anything from them again. Please think twice before you do, we had a MUCH better experience getting new couches with Rooms To Go.

Beware. Nice store. Nice selection. Nice Salesman (Alex) … HOWEVER. I believe we got stuck with a new salesman who either had not been trained or wasn’t fully honest. Was told we were financing the couch, which would be a LOAN and would be a settled account after paying off. NOT OPENING A CREDIT CARD. When you open and pay off a loan, it helps your credit. Now we are stuck with a credit card we don’t want. And if you close out a credit card, it actually hurts you. Granted, maybe we should read paper work more thoroughly. But why wouldn’t the salesperson just be HONEST ABOUT IT? Not to mention he tried to charge us $100 more than the couch was, but I caught it in time.. Very displeased and will not be returning if you don’t have honest people working for you.

The store seems like it has been upgraded and the selections are good so you may avoid going to Greenville. Delivery is their biggest problem. I wish they would just say, "Your furniture may arrive on the 12th or it may be later. It's not much in our control." At other furniture stores there is a much larger delay, but they deliver it when they say they are going to deliver it.
We walked in just looking at a bed and I wanted to know prices. The lady that came over to us grabbed my license, typed in my info, has me sign two papers (which is my fault for not paying too much attention). I started asking about the price of the mattress and she said well it’s this and gave a price. My fiancé and I looked at each other and she said is that okay? And I said that’s a lot. She began typing on her computer and came back with a little lower of a price. I signed and left. I realize that her job is to make a sale but we were in there 10 minutes and felt very uninformed about our purchase. I was able to call and cancel the sale. The lady was very nice on the phone and helped me cancel. Just be weary. I also have to wait on a call from the home store to have it cancelled and they aren’t answering their phones! Great customer service!

First of al, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE!!!!!!! It is SHOTTY furniture. I bought approximately $10,000.00 in one day of furniture from ASHLEY IN ANDERSON, SC. I took out the 5 year warranty plus Ashley was to have a year warranty included. I had an issue with my kitchen table and was denied coverage. Also, my electric leather sofa stitching started coming loose at the back of seat and a hole appeared, slits in between cushion which stick you to sit on and guess what NOT COVERED!! THIS IS A MANUFACTURING ISSUE. NOTHING I CAUSED! My night stand drawer rail fell off and the drawer fell out which made the other side loose and I only had socks in it and THE COVERAGE CLAIM WAS DENIED!!! You cannot get ANYONE TO HELP YOU PERIOD! I went into the store last Thursday & the General Manage was to get back with me after talking with upper management. I haven't heard a word and you can't call the store!! The card I was given had an email address on it so I sent an email to this address of the person on it and got a call AND THE GUY ASKED HOW I GOT HIS EMAIL AND BLOWED ME OUT SAYING I DID NOT TALK TO HIM. HE WOULD NOT LET ME SAY ANYTHING..............HE HUNG UP???? ASHLEY'S NEEDS TO BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS DUE TO THE CHEAP FURITURE AND LIES THEY TELL ABOUT WARRANTY. THIS COMPANY IS SO UNPROFESSIONAL. DON'T GO THERE!! TRUST ME.

We had a merchandise problem with a dining set we purchased at Ashley. The chairs were not suitable to sit on after 3 repeated times of reordering and replacement. We did however receive outstanding customer service from the Anderson, Ashley store manager, April Todd on presenting our dilemma to her with these defective chairs as she was considerate, caring and helped us have the set returned and attain a full refund. It is good to know Ashley management like hers is available to customers in this day & age. Even if this particular product did not work for us, we would highly recommend this store to others for professional care and backing a purchase no matter what. Thank-you!

First off, I can absolutely give the sales team 5 stars. They sold us a couch, love seat and coffee table. No problem with them. (Besides the fact that he told us we would probably have to wait about a month to get the couch and table.) The problem? Well, it’s been three months and I am sitting in my living room as I type with no couch or coffee table. The couch I have is falling apart and not comfortable (hence why we bought a new one!) and I called and was told “Don’t call us we’ll call you” and “Don’t call the store, just wait and you’ll get a call.” AND I may have to wait another three months?? There’s nothing they can do because of Covid I guess? Gas? War in Ukraine? I don’t know. Anyway, one day I’ll have my $2K couch and coffee table. If I had known it would take 3-8 months I would have totally bought a couch on Amazon. So do your research before purchasing anything here.

Don’t even waste your time … Been waiting on my furniture since last year of November… paying on furniture that I don’t even have … call them over 15 times no one call you back after speaking with the customer service from other states or whatever because no one in the store picks up … I want be purchases nothing else from this store ‼️
Purchased a dining room table in November 2021 and was told it would be arriving in April 2022. Well, April has came and went and the only thing that has arrived at the store are the chairs with no estimated date for our table. Ashley Furniture, this is highly unacceptable! Don’t give an arrival date if you can’t uphold it and then not know when a table will be arriving. This is a furniture store after all. It doesn’t make any sense that we are well into May with still no word about our table. Ridiculous. Update: we got lied to AGAIN!!! They said July 1st would be our new delivery date and guess, what? They called my husband today stating that they have no idea where our table is at and that they can’t deliver on the new date they said. They also failed to mention a refund. I am beyond fed up! Never shopping here for furniture again. Another update: our table finally came in after an extremely long wait but it’s badly damaged on 2 corners. Now, we have to see if they can fix it but if they can’t they have to send a whole new table. At this rate, it’s going to be well over a year before this whole thing is sorted out. Yeah, I’m done with this place. Never buying furniture from here again.

Purchased 2 pcs around 3/20. Took one home that day. After 3 weeks, went back to the store to find out we are to get 2nd piece in AUGUST. Was told by the manager he would contact me in a couple of days because something wasn't right. No call. Nothing. Went back the following week to be told "estimate time for customer was June. I got a refund. They have lost a customer and I will inform anyone not to buy from Ashley. Very dissatisfied.
Another disappointing experience at an Ashley store. Purchased a pice of furniture that came apart while being loaded- no offer to replace or repair it. While the sales team was better than usual, the manager was pitiful. I was told not enter through the front doors and we would be going out the side door so as not to impact metrics they are graded on. I was told there is a people counter that counts entrants and is measured against closed sales. I do not feel welcome shopping here anymore, and especially if with anyone else. Very unethical behavior. When I went to speak with the manager he was no where to be found. Sometimes it’s not always about todays purchase, but those to follow.

Worst experience buying furniture in my life. Order beds for the kids. They delivered beds without hardware. My kids slept on floor for 7 months before hardware come in. Kept pushing back on date. No one to accountability especially the store. Never ever will we buy from this place. If anything they need to shut the doors to this place.

If I could give zero stars I would. Well I said I would never shop here again(see previous bad review)but It's been awhile so I thought maybe they had Improved. NOPE!!!Another bad experience with the install. They promise you the world in the store. These folks just can't get it right. After leaving my 19 year old here for the install because we had to work. I assumed they would send responsible adults to put the couch together as instructed when we purchased. I came home to find my sectional couch was not put together correctly. They didn't even plug recliners in to make sure they were working, and they're not. They put the console in the wrong spot. We found two tears in the fabric. Unbelievable what a crappy company. Now I'm having a hell of a time getting them to come back and fix the shit. Do not buy from Ashley furniture unless you want a head ache
They have beautiful furniture but the staff needs to be more careful on quoting prices and making sure everything is added I placed an order over $3000 got a bed and bedroom suit and verified that the total included bed, dresser, mirror, chest, night stand, and mattresses and the representative left off my chest. I called for 5 days the ppl kept hanging up on me. On Thursday I was promised a cb by Dennis the manager at 8:15 but he never called. I called the lady that sold it to me Christi and she sd we are all human and they have to charge me more to add the chest. When they verified I was getting everything for a certain price. I ask for manager and they sd he is too busy to speak to me 😭😭 my son has his hopes up. Now they are saying it may be 8 months before he gets his bedroom suit. They
Purchased two living room suits and a bedroom suit in November was told I would receive it before Christmas now four months later I’m having to cancel my order due to not receiving furniture. I was constantly told different delivery dates each time I called to check on status of my furniture. Even had to refuse delivery on partial shipment they tried to ship headboard with no footboard or railing also tried to ship the couch without the ottoman and chair.. This is ridiculous who wants half of what they paid for and can’t even use what they send.
Was extremely upset with my experience at Ashley’s furniture.. i purchased two living room suites and a bedroom suite at the beginning of November and was told I would receive it before Christmas.. After many phone calls to Ashley home store in Anderson SC I was continually told different delivery dates. They even tried to deliver one time with half of the furniture for each room. Example bed with no foot board or railing..( ridiculous) so after 4 months with no furniture I decided to cancel my order today.. I’ll update if I have issue receiving my money back.

My wife and I purchased a couch and loveseat at the Anderson location last Friday night. This was a great experience. This new show room looks awesome! You never would know it was formally a Toys R Us. Wendy assisted us and answered all the questions we threw at her while looking. Once we had decided which set we wanted, it took no time to complete the purchase and set up delivery. She made it simple. I have to also say, the manager was very nice as well despite being a Florida Gator fan. Haha. If Gator fans and Bulldog fans can get along despite their differences then you would think democrats and republicans could as well. That is a different topic all together. I purchased a bedroom suite from Ashley Furniture for our new house right before the store moved to the new location on Clemson Blvd. Dylan was the sales associate I worked with and he was wonderful! Super knowledgeable, helpful and professional. However, the manager had to come over at the end of the experience to approve the discount I was getting and I thought he was very rude and not friendly at all. He talked and acted as if he was in a rush and I was wasting his time. This was my first time purchasing a bedroom suite brand new and the was overall well, minus the rude manager.

Everything is great until it’s time to get your furniture if you get it at all. I was told I could buy furniture and pay it off 90 days same as cash but this is not true. There are hidden fees that may not are not included in the paperwork/receipt you are given. I called many times trying to figure out why my payments and pay off were not adding up and no one could tell me why. I was told multiple times that someone would call back and they never did. I found a number for corporate and was finally able to get answers. Basically there were hidden fees totaling approximately a 5th the price of the couch. This was not disclosed meaning that 90 days same as cash is a lie. I was very adamant about not wanting to pay interest and wanting to know what the ins and outs of the agreement. On delivery day I didn’t receive my furniture. No one was sure where it was. I asked for a refund and was told that it would take 7-10 business days. A few days later I got a call asking to set up another delivery and I told them I canceled the order. Once the 10 days passed I call because I had not received a refund. Then I was told it could be 14 days. So I made a negative review on google and was given a copy and pasted apology with a number to text. Which after texting it was told the order was never canceled. And now 3 days later Im being told someone will reach out to me within two days to confirm the cancellation. I HATE IT HERE🙃
Chad was very knowledgeable of the merchandise. When I couldn't find the bed that I wanted, he found me another choice from their website. Wonderful experience.
Ashley Home store has a fantastic show and a great friendly staff. Unfortunately my experience with purchasing a sofa didn’t go well. I applied for credit after being told that if it’s paid within 90 days it’s the same as cash. I selected a sofa and was told it maybe a couple of months before it’s delivered. During that time period I made payments towards the sofa. Once I got a call to set up a delivery I called to check the balance and pay the remaining amount. After checking my receipt I subtracted the amount I paid from the total amount due on my receipt. When I called instead of owing $200 I owed $300. No one could explain where the extra $100 was coming from. I had to email bank statements over to prove that the amount that was drafted from my account because the payment amount in there system was less than what I was paying. Everytime they kept saying we will call you back at this time and not once did anyone call me back. The next day when my sofa was scheduled to be delivered it never was delivered. I called the store to confirm if the order was still active and it was. So now I don’t know where my sofa is or where my money is going :/ I called the Corporate number and finally someone explain that part of my payment was going towards some sort of insurance that was never explained or even listed on the receipt. I cancled the order and I still haven’t been refunded going on day 10 or 11. 90 days same as cash is a lie. The in house financing company is shady. I just want my money back so I can put this experience behind me without having to call over and over again. 😭

Please do not buy from Ashley's they lied to us they deceived us they tricked us and now they want to hold our money for 10 days after they can't deliver our furniture when they absolutely promised it would be there. I've been asking for 5 days for district manager to call me but he or she can't find the time please please do not buy from them they will not deliver on their date and they will not keep their promises

I went in with some knowledge of what I wanted, he took time and broke everything down step by step and was very patient. This was my first visit to the new store and I was very pleased. We ordered a bedroom suit and all sections of a couch in September, paid in full. The order took months to finally arrive over several deliveries and there were issues with every single delivery. Multiple items were wrong when the store rep input the order. The couch was damaged during delivery and we were given wrong information on how to refuse the order to be fixed. The bed came in with incorrect assembly pieces and the wrong headboard wasting over an hour of our morning. Overall one of the worst and most time consuming experiences I have ever had purchasing furniture. I cannot say that we recommend purchasing from Ashley Furniture unless serious changes are made to provide quality service.
Purchased an expensive Tempur-pedic bed.. Salesperson was presented to us as an expert.. We did not receive what we thought we were purchasing.. I called the day of delivery and several times over the past 2 weeks.. No one returns your calls.. We walk into the store to find out our expert on the bed is a new employee.. Worst customer service I have ever experienced.. I have called corporate several times.. When you call the local number you are actually calling corporate..Our salesman also said Tempur-pedic offers a 60 day satisfaction guarantee.. Tempur-pedic has a great name they should not let this joke of a furniture company represent them.. My advice to anyone is do not purchase any thing from this store... If we ever get our issues solvedI will take the $9100 for the bed to a much more reputable company..

customer service sucks, I order a living room set back in October the delivery date was set for November 19, they canceled said one item was damaged. rescheduled for the 24th, delivery was within 2 minutes og my address and all at once it showed unable to complete. I immediately called and they said the GPS couldn't find my location. why did they not call me when they got close to my house, oh they didn't have a signal on their phone, well tell them to turn around and i will meet them and they csn follow me, or they could have stopped and asked for directions but no tbey took it back yo the warehouse. Piss poor delivery service, the people in the store lied when they said they would expedite it, they talking about we can set up another delivery date, can you guarantee it will be here on that day, well NO, your only other option is to come to Fort Mills and pick it up yourself. Not! You can csncrl my order and I will never recommend you to anyone or buy from you. The really bad part of sll this is most of the reviews are bad and it is mostly customer service and delivery and they still have not made sny improvements you would think by now the light would come on.Do not buy anything from Ashley Furniture unless you are prepared for a lot of BS.
This place is horrible.if I could give less then one star I would. DO NOT.....buy any furniture from here. They take your money. An tell you they don't know when your furniture will be delivered. I have been Waiting two months an still no delivery or a time for delivery. It's November and there saying it might be after January. When you try an cancel your order they charge you for restocking furniture that they do not even have to deliver.

I recently purchased several items from the store. The people working there are grate. They are always ready to help but give you space to consider what you need. The delivery men were also fantastic, covering the furniture well as it was raining lightly. The only negative thing I noticed was the men need those little footies so they don’t track in rain or mud. For me it was only a little rain. Thank you Ashley Furniture
Prices are very misleading. One price tag on items that are sold as pieces even though the pieces are on the showroom floor all bolted together and have the appearance of being one individual piece of furniture.
Great experience in store until we were lied to about the delivery time. Our salesman told us 3-4 weeks because he placed a “priority” delivery on our order. It has been almost 4 months and no delivery or scheduled delivery. I understand COVID is causing supply issues, but don’t tell the customer one thing if you can fulfill your promises. After reviewing the paper further I did see a page about disruptions for deliveries. It still isn’t an excuse for our salesman telling us something different.
Was the worst experience we have had with any furniture store. Two deliveries failed because they didn't have correct address. When we received a delivery, no hardware to put beds together and a damaged leg of the dining table. Never return calls or texts. Finally have only 2/3 of the furnitire ordered and it's been almost 16 weeks when we were told 8 -10 weeks. The 4 stars is not what we gave. It was 1. We also spent $12,000 on furniture from there.

The sales person lied to us about delivery time to get us to buy a couch, and sold us the wrong dining table in the process. (We wanted the smaller square version of the table and got the bigger 6 chair version, it must’ve been her blunder because she still only included 4 chairs?)
The furniture was excellent but customer service couldve been better.
I had looked over a year for a fireplace tv stand. The main issue of purchasing one was assembly. I went to Ashley’s had a very good customer rep who helped me out. Price as well as delivery date was awesome. The nightmare from hell started Saturday with delivery!! The actual fireplace tv stand was extremely nice yet wasn’t assembled. First I was told the insert of the fireplace wasn’t the right size. Second I was told the shelves didn’t have the hooks to be installed. So after begin told to call Ashley’s and speak to someone myself instead of someone contacting me. I still wasn’t helped professionally. Which lead to another group coming out today. Round two of some bs. Fireplace was inserted and works nicely. Yet was told once again the hooks for the shelves wasn’t brought. Which then was told I could go to Walmart and buy some and do it myself?? Also in the process the top of the stand was chipped. Long story short choose who work for you wisely. Glad i am done buying any furniture anytime soon. Ps. They did issue my assembly fee. Which is comical cause my fireplace stand still isn’t put together and I can’t put my decor on it yet🙄

We’ve had a great experience, with Josh, throughout the last week of shopping at Ashley! We originally went in for a new couch but ended up getting a new tv stand, bed & mattress and we absolutely love everything. There was a mix up at the end but April was quick to get it taken care of!
Buyers beware if you don't buy their extended warranty they will not stand by the quality of their products. We bought 4 counter high chairs. They seemed like sturdy chairs. 3 out of the four had screws installed crooked. One corner screw may have been stripped because the corner piece had glue all over it. One chair has a gouge out of the back right where you put your hand! Their solution to correct their poorly built chairs is to send us more screws and a new back to the chair and we get to repair it ourselves!?! So ridiculous! Not acceptable and horrible customer service!! Your only option is to have it delivered and they missed the delivery window by 3.5 hours so when they finally delivered the chairs at 630 pm on a Friday the delivery folks barely got them in the front door and took off. They do this do you can't refuse delivery which we would have done once we looked under seats of each chair. 0ver $500 for four chairs because of their big "labor day sale" what a scam.
A year ago I got credit through Ashley right after I purchased my home. Some things I paid out right for a some I wanted to wait until it all came together to see what else I needed. Today I went to use my Ashley advantage card and found out it was closed due to inactivity and they won’t reopen it. I was told to reapply. Which I did and of course this time denied. I have tried for almost an hour to speak to someone above the person I talked to and am told there is NO ONE available. They are all on vacation. What kind of customer service is this??? You just closed my account 3 days ago without so much as a word or email and can’t reopen it. I will NEVER do business with this company again and will tell everyone I come not to either. What a horrible company they have doing their banking.
I ordered my sofa several weeks ago - delivery took a while but I was told that up front so it wasn’t a problem! The delivery team got here and set up my new sofa + coffee table quickly and very professionally. They made sure I was happy before leaving. I also picked up a new bedroom suit last weekend off their floor sale. Great customer service and quality!
I am highly disappointed with this company...purchased $5,000 worth of furniture in February 2021...still no full delivery yet (over 6 months waiting)!!! Never again...
I had the best experience ordering from this store directly. I had tried to order college furniture for my son online. Delivery was unclear and price was dependent on extra codes, etc. calling the store they found a bedroom set in stock at a price that was lower than what I originally ordered online. Service was spot on and the emails were timely. Overall a great experience.
Bought a sectional sofa and ottoman in February. As of July 31, nobody knows when we will receive our furniture. We paid in cash. I got rid of my furniture at the 12 week mark to make room for the new couch. I am very disappointed and dissatisfied. They shouldn’t take new orders until the ones from February and earlier have been completed! They my money, I have no couch.
I've been waiting since April 15th for my furniture and it still has not arrived! I understand that the pandemic put things on hold but this is ridiculous 😒

Went in today to look for a sofa and loveseat. One person was sitting at the front chatting with a customer and spoke to us. We walked around the whole store two times before someone asked if they could help. There was two employees sitting at the desk taking not helping anyone. I showed the lady who asked if she could help two different sets we were wanting to look at. She said they didn’t have those but had something similar and walks us to a sectional…the sets I showed her were clearly sofa and love seats. Then she walked us to a set that was on clearance said we could get both for 25% off and take it today. Then she walks off and never came back. No one else ever offered to help us so we left. Definitely will not be purchasing from Ashley!!!
I ordered and paid for living room suite in March. Told me 8 to 12 weeks delivered time.. its been 16 weeks. No sign of furniture.. will not answer phone .. will make in person visit soon..this is ridiculous 🙄
Purchased a couch here and have yet to receive it almost 2 months after purchase date. We were told it would take 3 weeks at max to be delivered and that clearly was told just to gain a sale. DO NOT buy from this store. I’ve reach out about delivery updates and keep getting the same automated message. There is a 10% fee to cancel / refund for the first 12 weeks. RIDICULOUS.
Absolutely will never buy from them again! After 3 months our furniture was finally delivered and the couch was broken. The delivery guys wouldn’t take it back and said a technician would contact me for a repair. That was BS. After several calls I was able to get the couch swapped out for a new one today. I was so focused on making sure it wasn’t broken that I didn’t even realize the color was off until they left. Now I have a brand new couch that looks brown and recliner that looks gray. Do I try for a third one? I’m almost afraid of what I would get!

Worst customer service ever! I ordered a sofa in November and have yet to receive it or a phone explaining further delays. I was told 12 to 14 weeks and I was fine with that. Everytime I call they push my delivery out one month more. Absolutely rediculous. Will be going into the store tomorrow for a full refund. Beyond mad at this point because I paid a lot of money up front with nothing to show for it but a hard time.
the customer service inside the store is great but they need to inform the people who are spending the money on their furniture beforehand that they won't deliver for over 4 months that's even IF they can get the furniture. spent almost $3000 on a sectional and a dining room set that they are now saying they cant order and dont know when they'll have it when I was told I would have it delivered the week after. also mention that you cant get a full refund for 3 months or you'll have to pay 10% of what you originally paid for the furniture.
Well going in the store was a pleasant experience. The employees were friendly and the furniture was nice and my family and i were in and out in less than an hour. HOWEVER what they didnt tell us is that their delivery process was horrible. We were told our dining set and couch would be delivered this week. Well it's this week and we still haven't gotten it. I go to call and the lady that answered the phone said that they didnt have either of the dining set or the couch and didnt know when they were going to have it. I spent over $2,600 for these and they dont know when they'll get it. I expected a full refund but they said I would have to wait 12 weeks or pay 10% which is outrageous and unfair. I WILL get my refund and I WILL never shop here again. I suggest others do the same.

Will they actually show up tomorrow??? WHO KNOWS!! lets see....is 3 days lost wages worth a couch and sofa delivery??? I THINK NOT! A lesson learned. I will not do business with them again!
Our sales person Dennis was awesome. We found a lower deal after the sale was made for our sectional and he quickly came up with another reduced price which was refunded within days. The delivery was awesome and delivery crew was super nice as well as wore masks. 10/10

We ordered a new living room for our new house in early November. We were told we should get it by January. Now we're being told the one piece for January will be February. Two other recliners they have no delivery date at all ! We are sitting in our new house on outdoor chairs because this sorry excuse of a store can't deliver anything in less than 3 or four months. Very unhappy and will never buy anything from this store again.
Look how this "manager" behaves when dealing with a customer issue. This is outrageous and honestly just confirms how bad Ashley is from the top down. This is beyond unprofessional and disrespectful. They didn't even resolve any complaint. They will say whatever they need to say to make the sale, but this picture is exactly what they think of you after they get the money.

W.ell after about 3 weeks of watching and reading reviews i decided to walk in the store and browse because we all know how people exaggerate. Well they didnt, i walked around for 26 min before anyone approached me and their comment was very dismissive. She didnt ask if i saw anything i like or if she could help.me she said "let me know if you want to buy something". Ok at this point i thought well maybe there is a IQ in this store. Nope 30 min later not another person had spoken or approached me in anyway. You are selling furniture, furniture...i would rather whittle my own than buy here!
BUYER BEWARE! Don’t buy furniture from Ashley Furniture in Anderson, or any where else for that matter. I can not tell you how much trouble I have had with them! Ordered a dining room set early in November that I was told would DEFINITELY arrive before Thanksgiving. That didn’t happen and no one even let me know until I called them. By the way, you can’t call the store, you have to call their “corporate” number that handles all their calls. I called and was told I was 32 in que, 48 in que, 66 in que. I did have my sales person April Todd’s cell phone number, but of course her mailbox was always full. I did text her but never got a response back. Their sales people only want to sell you product that nobody will stand behind. Anyway, product arrives early in Dec. and they get you to say on the phone that everything is good. What I didn’t realize was they didn’t leave the handles for the drawers in the table. Literally the drivers were gone 5 minutes when I realized this. I tried to call the driver back on the number he had called to say he was in his way, but 5 phone calls, no answers. So back to corporate number. One and a half hours later, the CSR tells me she will order the parts and they will be shipped to me. Now , 3 weeks later, no parts. I again call corporate after sending 2 texts to April Todd this week asking her to check on them with no response! Again, sell the product, make your commission then ignore the customer. Corporate tells me I should have my parts sometime in February. I tell Shemika that is not satisfactory and I want her to send someone to pick it up. She tells me she will process a return work order and they will send someone to pick it up. When I ask her for an email to confirm that, she says she can only send the email to the store and the store would get in touch with me. By now I am so disgusted that I stop at the store this afternoon to make sure they got the return order. April is not there, but I explained the situation to the girl at the desk who tells me she needs to get a manager. She walks about 10 feet away, (this is the icing on the cake) and explains to a man sitting in a recliner with his feet up, my situation. I hear him say, “tell her....” I about blew a fuse! This man could not even get OUT OF THIS CHAIR to talk to a dissatisfied customer! I have attached his photo. He was no help at all. Needless to say I will not pay for this. One call to my bank and they will either decide to come get it or it will be free. DON’T shop at Ashley Furniture!
It isn't this stores fault but beware please beware if you order things on line from any Ashley's look at the things you buy before the delivery people leave this is the second time I've bought things from this company or corporation and been damaged first was the walls in my house from delivery now a table that I ordered 3 months ago just in time for Christmas is damaged dunno if is the guys delivering these thing are damaging them or not but please keep this in mind and read this because I don't want it to happen to other people
Never again will I darken the doors of an Ashley furniture store. We found the power reclining sofa and recliner we wanted and paid for it in full on 7/28/2020 The delivery date on the sales order says 09/01/2020. Then it was postponed to 09/08, then 09/16, 09/25 and the latest "estimated" date is now 10/16/2020. They lie and make promises they don't keep. As to the quality of the furniture- I have no idea. FINAL COMMENT- 11/04/2020: Ashley came through today with the $250 refund for our trouble. They did what they promised to try and make things right. I’m sad to say though that I probably won’t shop there again, but, you never know.
We bought furniture on August 29 that was promised to be delivered by October 14. We received call that delivery was delayed until at least December 23. We decided to cancel the order. They have made the cancellation process as difficult as possible. Their customer care line is a joke. Long waits and when you do reach someone you are given the run around saying you have to call the local store. The local store tells you to call customer care. We have spent thousands of dollars with Ashley Home Stores in the past but no more. We are done.
Don’t shop here!!!!! I’m Not happy.. at all. Ordered my 5k worth of furniture on 8/8/20, today I finally got delivery after 8 weeks, however the delivery was not complete, missing 4 items. Called the store where I bought it in Anderson SC, sorry doesn’t cut it! I’ll get 2 of the missing items on 11/10 and The other 2 missing items on 12/11. I’m elderly and just moved here from MA. I’ve been sleeping on the floor for a month waiting for my furniture. At least I got my bed today. They never told me about the delivery Dilemma , oh but because of covid 19, was told 3-4weeks. Enough with the covid 19 excuses, the factory is in NC for goodness sake!
Great looking furniture. But, terrible experience. I had to use vacation to accommodate the time they were able to bring the furniture, because my availability was irrelevant for them. And then they didn't have all of the peices for the table I ordered, so I've been paying for a table that I cant even use nor is it assembled. They said they would send the peices. And once I receive them then call and "schedule" another appointment for them to come back. Its a joke. A month in and still no table. But, believe they're still getting paid. Never in my life. I know we are in a pandemic, if I may.. but ashleys in Anderson had no issues helping pick out the furniture i ordered or so graciously taking my money; so why isn't my satisfaction a priority to them? so good luck.

We just purchased our tempurpedic bed ! We were greeted immediately by Dennis , I had some very specific questions about mattresses, he was very upfront and professional, referring us to his manager, due to being new and wanting me to have the best possible answers. Dennis staying with her every step of the way . I’m quite sure he learned A LOT , as did I after asking a million questions, every last one was answered and demonstrated!! Bought a complete bedroom suite was told was one of the best quality suits they had paid almost $6000 for the bed, 2 nightstands, dresser, mirror, delivery, and warranty. we had not 1 but twice the delivery people were are no call no show! finally when we did receive the furniture several pieces were damaged including the dresser that was so bad it fell apart in the box! we did get a $200 credit for the 2 missed delivery's and another $200 credit for several pieces that arrived with damage. We called and tried to cancel that warranty "DO NOT BUY THE WARRANTY" We made attempts for 3 months and to date still don't have our money back!! Ashley Homestore is so bad you can't even call the store and talk to anyone will only go to their home office. I am about to get a lawsuite against them.
We were searching for a new couch, and found the perfect one. The price was great, and the employees were SUPER SUPER sweet, and helpful!
First of all I ordered a sectional couch on 5/29/2020 was told it would be delivered on June 26th 2020. Okay 4 Weeks. So on the 25th at 3:00 pm I was called and told that my order was pushed back till July 15th. I had already sold my couch and Chair, So two weeks without living room Furniture. Then I ordered an Ottoman on July 18th and was delivered by drop shipment on July 25th all wrapped up could not see color to refuse at the door. Unwrapped it and the color didn't match, I texted my sales rep. and ask if I could exchange the ottoman out and in a short text said you will have to call Customer Service on Monday. Called customer service on 7/27/2020 call and spoke with Annette she said she would contact my sales rep. and have her contact me or she would call back herself, well that didn't happen. on 7/28/2020 called back and spoke with Lauren She told me I could not exchange or return ottoman after I told her that is not what return policy said on website, She went ahead and put it in to request a return and I would here something back in 48 to 72 Hours, well guess what nope no phone call. On 8/1/2020. On 8/1/2020 Called back and spoke with Zanney ask about return and I should here something on Monday 8/3/2020 well it's 8/5/2020 and no phone call. I have never purchased anything and was no able to return item with in a short amount of time. $240.00 for the ottoman that doesn't match my furniture beyond Mad at this point. Website says you can return item if you call customer service with 72 hours witch I have done. What actions shall I take now?
In the store customer service was ok. The lady that helped us was nice and gave us the privacy we needed to decide on what we wanted. But we was told our bed frame would be delivered 2 months ago. They have changed our date 3 times. Still waiting. If not delivered on this 3rd date then we will be going up there to get our money back.
Despite having a $10k credit card through Ashley Furniture, we will never shop here again. We ordered a bedroom set, which came with the wrong dresser. No big deal, we just called and ordered the correct one while keeping the night stands Months go by and several missed deliveries until finally someone states we didn’t pay the difference between the two dressers ($100) so really it was never going to ship despite the seven or eight missed appointments. Six months later we still never received the dresser despite having already paid for it. When we called to request a refund and we would return the nightstands, they stated we were outside of our return period. Outside of a return period for items we never received. Needless to say, never again.
Nice furniture
This is not a good place to get your home furniture or anyother item. I paid cash money and expected my furniture to be delivered on time. They brought my living room furniture and told me then that the other items were on back order. No one ever called me to inform of the shortage and gave me 2 different dates. I asked to have a refund since I had already waited 3 months. They replied that they would withhold 10% of my money. I spoke with corporate and assumed me that the item would be there another date 6wks out i would receive a gift for compensation for the extended wait. I agreed and made arrangement with work because I'm a nurse and covid had just reached a peak so I had to plan. Date came i waited all day and eventually called the store and they informed they canceled my order. No one called no mail no communication from this company. No nothing! So disappointed in this company all the way to the top. It sucked.

Edit: June 15th still don’t have a functioning power lift chair. #FourMonthsTooLong ******* In February, we purchased a power lift recliner at the Anderson SC location. Delivery was scheduled in just one week. Great When delivered, there was no power cord. We thought OK, we agreed to accept delivery and they would send one within 7-10 day. Well, all they shipped was the last section, but not the power supply. How would we, the customer know it required two components. Well, then we called their Bon-Customer Service line, and they ordered the rest of the required power supply. It would take another 7-10 days. When it came, plugged in the chair, it still didn’t work. Called again. They wanted to send a tech in 7-10 days, but the tech doesn’t carry any parts on his truck. So after he troubleshot he would have to order parts, (another 7-10 days) then schedule tech to return which would be another 7-10 days after the part arrived. Thought I was being smart so asked them to ship all the possible parts that could be faulty. They ordered and shipped the 2 motors and control. They arrived and we called, the tech would come in 7-10 days. He arrived and did the testing. Determined that the control was faulty, we thought no problem, they sent a control. Turns out they sent the WRONG control. They would order the replacement and it would take 7-10 days to arrive. It’s been 30 days, and I’ve called again for a status and they have no way of estimating. In fact, the CSA couldn’t even assure it would come in 2020. All he suggested was to call again in a week and see if they had a status. The store sales rep and store manager didn’t want to have anything to do with us once the chair was delivered. It’s been 90 days since our initial purchase and we still do not have a functioning power lift recliner. Throughout, I repeatedly asked for them to pickup this faulty chair and replace it with another. They wouldn’t do that since we accepted delivery of it. We have no idea when or if it will ever work. This is the worst retail experience I’ve ever had. Ashley has demonstrated they have no interest in customer service and delivering a functioning product. Ashley has proven to me to be among the worst retailers there is. I strongly discourage anyone from patronizing Ashley Furniture. If you have any problem with your purchase, they will NOT stand behind their products.
Worst customer service . My husband was speaking to his mother in a private conversation about Babcock and the lady interrupted with a loud ok thank you ahve a nice day! So loudly and started to walk away.. I never have had such a rude 😕 unprofessional experience buying furniture. Needless to say we will not be returning and did not purchase from this establishment.

So now after they took them back we have to wait another week for the table and chairs to come back in and they have offered no discount or anything for the issue.

The employees were very rude and disrespectful. It took a month and a half to get my daughters bed because even though i got a call saying her bed was coming at 2 different times they never showed up and when they finally brought her bed it had several scratch marks on it. The customer service people were very rude and did very little to help us.
Like buying furniture in the Soviet Union. Everything displayed on the floor takes weeks to deliver...AND not all at once. Ordering an item from their catalog while in store? It’s ALL ‘back ordered’...add two extra weeks for that to be delivered. They can take your CASH and DEBIT your check card immediately though! When furniture finally arrives damaged, you have to REFUSE it and follow up constantly to get it replaced, rescheduled OR a credit. Document the hell out of everything! Receipts showing the DOUBLE CHARGES (delivery guy caught that little $300 gem), phone calls, emails, texts from salesperson...save it ALL. You WILL need it. It took TWO & 1/2 MONTHS from the day of purchase for everything to be delivered...3 deliveries...3 inconveniences. Never going back.

NEVER NEVER NEVER buy from Ashley Furniture. I bought a bedroom suite for my grandson. The delivery was a nightmare. The headboard is not stable and moves back and forth. We rejected the headboard, the delivery guys got mad because they had to take it back apart. We made so many phone calls too many to count , Corporate office is rude, non professional and doesnt want to come pick up the dresser and nightstand, because now we cant get a matching bed. They also said they were not refunding our money. Anytime you call, you get the reply of "someone will call you back in 48 hours". Thats a joke. They do not care if the customer is satisfied or not. They never said, we will be happy to credit your account and let you pick something else out. I have bought a lot of furniture, but I have never ever been treated this way!!! BEWARE
We ordered a tv table from the Anderson store. When it arrived it was missing parts. We had to wait an additional two weeks for another to be brought and assembled. We were told we would receive some compensation afterwards because of the delay and inconvenience , but no one ever contacted us to fulfill the agreement.
Dominic was very helpful in giving us the best deal that my fiance and I could receive. We cross-referenced deals from other stores which led us to receiving competitive and low price. Thank you Ashley Home Furniture and Dominic!
I will never buy furniture from Ashley’s again .ive been waiting since first week of February for my furniture that has not been delivered.apparently my phone number was put in computer wrong and nobody could call to deliver.ive called 3 times and all 3 times number still wrong in computer and delivery date keep changing to different dates and of course payments are coming out of my account but I don’t have furniture

Pricing for the quality of furniture just doesn't justify a purchase here. Looked at bedroom set and all drawers with flimsy and nothing felt sturdy.
I will NEVER buy another product from this store. The delivery process was horrible. They will not work with your schedule and if you can't get off of work at the time they request, they try to charge you 100.00. There is no active phone numbers that take phone calls to get your delivery time sorted. They are unreasonable and I am furious. Who tells you what you are to do with your schedule and then threaten you with a fee if you can not get off of work?! If this company delivers my furniture while no one is at home, I will take my receipt to this store and get a full refund. There are plenty of other furniture stores in Anderson who would be happy to sell me the amount of furniture that we have bought from Ashleys.

We had a great experience working with Jada in purchasing a few pieces from a soon to be discontinued bedroom line. We were told at another store if we wanted to purchase floor models we would have to purchase the entire collection not just the few pieces we needed. I called the Anderson location prior to arrival to verify if we would have to purchase the entire collection and was told that was not the case. Jada was very efficient and got us taken care of in no time! When we returned later to load up our dressers she even helped us get them to the vehicle. I will definitely be purchasing from this location in the future and can’t wait to work with Jada again.
This is where we will go for furniture from now on. Beth Russell, the sales manager, is incredible. She goes above and beyond to help you select, order, measure, etc. furniture. She has answered any and all questions and is easily reachable. I cannot express enough of how great of an experience this has been so far and how thankful we are for Beth! DEFINITELY recommend you go to Ashley Furniture and be sure to ask for Beth!

Beth is very helpful and spent over an hour with us picking out furniture for our new home. She was very polite and really worked with us on getting our price where we needed it to be. She really made us feel at home. I would highly recommend her .
This store is awesome. Our sales associate was Beth and she went well beyond her job to give us the best service possible. We was in the Anderson store for over an hour and she was very patient with us and helped us pick out items to accent our new house. Not to mention that we had a 5 year old with us. I would recommend Beth for all your furniture needs. She helped us way beyond our expectations.
Excellent customer service from Krista from the moment we walked in, for the 1+ hour we were there. She kindly explained everything in as much detail as we needed, and patiently repeated it when we needed it. She was nearby when we needed her but we felt free to shop all around without pressure. Krista knee all the product lines well and we were looking to furnish an entire house, so we tested her skills, for sure. Thank you for a relaxed, no pressure shopping experience.
Horrible, Horrible do not buy from Ashley HomeStore. Ordered two recliners for our 5th wheel camper. We needed certain dimensions and needed wall huggers due to the space we were needed. Sales sold us 2 recliners, that we were promised were exactly what we needed. We questions because due to research, a wall hugger does not rock. We called and asked the next day to make sure she told us correctly. Reclines were delivered and quests what, they rocked and were not wall huggers. Went back the next day and finally told them we wanted a refund. They scheduled the pick up and guess what they brought us 2 more recliners, which we didn’t accept. This started on August 30th, 2019. We finally got a check, and they shorted us 100.00. Now we have spent 2 days trying to find out why the difference. We shouldn’t be charged for shipping, they sold us something that wasn’t what they promised. Today is 11/4/2019. The right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing.

I've always enjoyed perusing Ashley's Furniture stores. They have a large selection and it's easy to get ideas just by walking around. They don't bug you while you're looking either. Ashley's is no Discount Shop, but their prizes are reasonable for the quality of product. We've purchased a few big ticket items and been satisfied with products and service.
This store and company is HORRIBLE!! I purchased a bedroom suit from Ashley two months ago . A month ago they delivered just the headboard and the delivery guy broke my front door handle when he kicked my front door open to bring head board into my BRAND NEW BUILT HOUSE and the headboard had a rip in it. When they delivered a new headboard two weeks later there was no hardware with it, they told me it would be two weeks before I would get hardware, so I bought hardware needed and put my bed together. So I sent the grievance department copies of my receipts for door handle and bed hardware I just asked to be reimbursed, they sent me an amount 75 less than what I spent. I told them NO, I want exactly what I spent. So today they tell me they believe they do not owe me anything and now will pay zero . And it will be another month to receive the rest of my bedroom furniture. This is how they treat their customers !!!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!

To the entire State of South Carolina- please do not buy from Ashley Furniture Home Store. They are not affiliated with the corporate Ashley Furniture Store- they are independently owned by a separate company. Charlie Malouf is the CEO. They have sold me a defective dining room set. Switched out 3 times and still not showroom quality. Their idea of compensation is $125 Ashley gift card, or $100 refund to original form of payment. Missed 3 days of work for deliveries and repairs. They don’t let you speak to anyone in upper management. I was told to send an email. I privately LinkedIn messages Charli Malouf, just asking for help, and he blocked me from sending any more messages. I spend $2800 on a dining room set. It’s been a nightmare. I have had to make all the calls to them, they mislead you on “turnaround times”. Every single person I have had to talk to is condescending, and no sense of urgency to rectify the situation. But since I got the blow off from the CEO, why should I receive anything different from his employees. Attitude reflect leadership Save yourself time, grief and frustration- Buy elsewhere
I purchased several times with Ashley Furniture and all 2 time the Customer service was horrible. The delivery service words can not experience the unprofessionalism of this company. The 1st time I excuse it. The second time it took me weeks to get what I purchased and the order was not correct. Do not buy anything from this store and the quality is not worth the hassle. I will do my best to avoid purchasing anything else from Ashley Furniture.
I was informed that my order would be available on 8/22, but the delivery did not occur. Just received a call today, 8/27/19, that my rescheduled date of 8/29 was not accurate as well. The delivery would not be available until 10/17 as there was one item back ordered - which would stall my entire order. I have never heard of such nonsense. Shannon who took my call did not offer any options and was not sensitive to the fact they are furnishing my new home. It is not as I have old furniture that I want to replace. I have no furniture and need my items. Not satisfied with the outcome of my purchase nor the customer service of the team members who are there to help.
Beth is wonderful at customer service
Disappointed in the quality of a recliner I purchased last October. Within 3 month the bottom cushion sunk down into the springs. I requested to get another brand in the recliner but customer service refused to get a different brand. Customers service replaced the recliner, but within two days of having the same brand recliner the motor went out. I recommend to stay away from their products. Customer service is terrible.
Delivery person hit my gate and broke it two months ago and I'm still waiting for Ashley furniture to fix it or pay for the damages.
My house burned down and I am rebuilding. I need everything! I have been in the Anderson SC store twice to look at furniture twice and no one has offered to help me either time. I have questions and I need them answered so I can buy furniture. However, due to this poor service, I will not be buying it here.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience while visiting Ashley Home Store in Anderson, SC today. We were met at the door by an associate but he just asked if we had questions and that he would gladly assist us when ready. Mr. Suni Fulton was awesome! We did make a purchase this visit but it was a pleasant "No Pressure" experience. It's great when you're working with a professional. We will tell all our friends to see Suni when they need furniture. Great Job!

Save yourself the time, money and frustration and buy from literally anywhere else. This store, and every other store, has TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. In fact, they don’t even have customer service at all. After my furniture not being delivered when it was scheduled to, it was like pulling teeth to get someone to answer a phone call, and when they finally did, I was hung up on TWICE, before I was able to even finish explaining that my furniture was not delivered. I had to go in to the store to speak with someone to figure out when I was really going to get my furniture. Thankfully they were able to figure it out, but I’m super disappointed to see to scratches on my entertainment center, although small, totally noticeable, in front and center. Am I supposed to wait another month for them to fix it? I just wanted nice furniture to furnish my brand new house that I worked damn hard for and instead I’ve gotten nothing but terrible service and quaility lacking furniture. TERRIBLY DISAPPOINTED. (Friendly delivery drivers tho, and that’s who the one star goes to!)

Hey guys, Go to Ashley and see Melissa Pierce. She is awesome! She greeted my husband and myself as soon as we walked in the door. We asked where recliners were and she pointed us in the right direction. She was attentive but not annoying. We found a recliner we loved and asked about couches. She was nice enough to walk us through the entire store and show us the best couch for our needs. It took sitting on a few, but we found one! We only walked in to take a look today to get an idea of what we might buy in the future, but we ended up with two recliners and a couch! Melissa was a HUGE help and made the experience more than awesome! I know this is long, so thanks for sticking with me here. I just want to wrap up and say that I will be going back in the future, and I will be asking for Melissa! Thanks again Melissa!
Unless you have $$ to throw away, read the reviews BEFORE you make a purchase at Ashley!! My husband and I have been discussing the purchase of living room and bedroom furniture; however, after the experience my daughter and her husband have encountered with Anderson SC location and the other reviews, we WILL NOT EVEN CONSIDER shopping at Ashley!!

I was looking forward to furnishing my new home with furniture. However, it has been a disaster. My sectional came, but not all of it. They also forgot forgot a recliner (said that it was due next month). The footboard for the bed didn&'t come either and the headboard was cracked so I couldn&'t accept it. The tv stand didn&'t come with the shelves. If you&'re in the market for furniture avoid this place like the plague.

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! To make a VERY long story short, I bought a bedroom suit and paid for it IN FULL. It took them a month and 3 separate deliveries to get it right. They want to charge you for delivery (the only other option is to go to NC which is stupid) and then they deliver on their terms and they so OBVIOUSLY do NOT check the delivery trucks before they bring it to you, because it took them not one, not two, but THREE tries to get it right. Thats right, it took them 3 separate deliveries to get it right. Whats sad is even the delivery driver said "this happens all the time". Everyone that I told about my experience has already had a bad experience with Ashley Furniture in the past. Ashley furniture, you have lost a customer for life. Shoppers, heed to my warning and run!
Ordered a full king size bed set that was delivered 3 weeks after purchasing. I was not happy with the quality of the furniture so I contacted the store to return within their 24hour policy. They wanted me to pay a $75 pick up fee along with 10% of the total purchase which would have been an additional $200. After a lot of thought and discussion with the a different sales rep, we decided to upgrade our package for an exchange. We were told if we upgraded that we should have no problem scheduling a pick up and drop off. I have the items I didn’t want to keep stored in my entry way of my house along with not having any bedroom furniture at all since I sold my old set! I have been storing their furniture and without any for my room furniture for almost two months! I am also still being charge a $75 pick up fee! So I spent an additional $600 for my set to upgrade and I’m on the bottom of the list for delivery...? Way to put your customers first Ashley Furniture! I keep being told that some district manager is going to contact me but I’ll probably get lost in the pile of clothes on my floor in my room with not having any furniture for the past two months before I even recieive a call! I have three kids at home and I have done everything to protect the furniture that they are picking up...sometime this year!? Do you know how hard it is to tell 3 kids to stay away from one particular room let alone not to touch any of it!? I’m sure they will find a way to screw me on that as well! I would reconsider purchasing elsewhere before coming to Ashley’s! Just make sure you know this...You have to let them know you have changed your mind 48hours after purchase to not be charged anything! UPDATE 4/19/19: Another store manager at this location reached out to me and did everything and more to make sure I was satisfied and happy. Her name is April. She is great. I cant express enough how much it means to me as a customer knowing that my business is important and that I am a valued customer. Sometimes that is all it takes after a mistake is made. Thank you April. BEWARE!!! YOU WILL REGRET SHOPPING WITH THEM!!! My experience with Ashley Home Furniture has been a terrible one. I regret so much ever doing business with them. Their custoner service is beyond poor, and it does not get any better at their corporate level. They have zero regard for their customer's. Once they have your money, nothing else matters to them.
