Ashley Furniture Formal Complaint Regarding Unprofessional Behavior of Ashley Furniture Store ManagerDear Ashley Furniture Customer Service,101 Okatie Center Blvd NOkatie, SC 29909United StatesI am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the unprofessional behavior displayed by one of your store managers at the Ashley Furniture location where I recently had a distressing experience. As a flooring contractor and a loyal customer of Ashley Furniture, I am appalled by the treatment I received from this manager, whose actions have left me feeling deeply disrespected and frustrated.On date, my car broke down in the parking lot of your store while I was parked in a designated parking spot. As a responsible individual, I immediately began working on my vehicle to resolve the issue. During this time, three individuals approached me and demanded that I vacate the parking spot or risk having my car towed. I politely explained that I was in the process of fixing my car and requested some time to complete the repairs.Despite my reasonable request, the individuals threatened to tow my car by the morning if I did not move it. Determined to resolve the issue, I worked tirelessly throughout the night to fix my vehicle, hoping to clear the parking spot within the given timeframe. Unfortunately, I encountered difficulties and was unable to complete the repairs before morning.To my dismay, the manager of the Ashley Furniture store arrived on the scene in the morning and immediately began yelling and screaming at me without giving me a chance to explain my situation. Despite my attempts to communicate that I needed only a few more hours to move my car, he proceeded to escalate the situation by involving law enforcement officers, who forcibly removed me from the parking lot.The manager's aggressive behavior and lack of empathy towards my predicament were utterly unwarranted and unprofessional. His refusal to listen to my side of the story and his hasty decision to involve the authorities have tarnished my perception of Ashley Furniture as a reputable company. I was ultimately forced to push my car out of the parking lot, all the while feeling humiliated and mistreated by the very individuals who should have shown understanding and compassion.I am deeply disappointed by the conduct of this manager and feel compelled to bring this matter to your attention. Such behavior is unacceptable and does not align with the values of customer service and respect that I expect from a company like Ashley Furniture. I urge you to investigate this incident thoroughly and take appropriate actions to address the behavior of the manager in question.As a dedicated flooring contractor and a loyal customer, I have always valued my relationship with Ashley Furniture. However, this experience has left me feeling disillusioned and disheartened. Alex Walker was phenomenal! I am a picky person with unique taste and personal opinions on furniture. She could not have been more patient, knowledgeable and helpful. She welcomed my particular requests and provided very helpful suggestions to lead us to excellent furniture for our home. We went with living room help in mind but were so impressed with Alex Walker, we were eager to knock out the bedroom too! Can’t wait to return for a few more odds and ends, but will always request Alex Walker each and every time.

The material for the bed and dressers are TERRIBLE. My dresser broke in less than a year after paying a couple hundred dollars for it. The bed has held together but is not very sturdy. We have spent thousands here- and are very disappointed.

Paid in full for a couch over 13 weeks ago. Was told 6 weeks for delivery but could be as long as 10 weeks (post 10 weeks you can get a full refund). From week 8, I called once a week for an update and never received a clear answer for delivery. This past weekend, we were told it still hasn’t shipped to arrive at the warehouse. So I Called today to cancel my order and I’m still waiting for a call back to complete the cancellation and be refunded. Overall my sales representative was amazing, however the execution to get the couch has been very disappointing.
