Important note: While our street address says Bluffton, our showroom is located about 8 miles northwest of Bluffton proper, in the suburb of Okatie. We’re on the corner of Okatie Highway and Okatie Center Blvd N. If you’re taking Fording Island Road, you’ll take exit SC-170E.

Non pressure sales staff, nice store
My husband and I came in shopping for new living room set. We were greeted by Heather, who was great to work with from our initial hello. We let her know what we had in mind, she told us to take a walk around to see if anything catches your eye. I’ll be back around to see how you’re doing. No pressure! As we continued to move around the store, she was very helpful to point out other options similar. She even had the men from the back bring over a very large ottoman that was in the color fabric we were considering in order to help us make our final decision! SOLD!! Bernard was top notch customer service. Wife and I came in just to look for a kitchen table. He greeted us once we walked in felt very welcomed asked what we were looking for told him and he said if we have questions let him know. Love the fact that we were able to explore ourselves without being leeched on by an employee just causes uncomfortable shopping. Wife saw a table loved it answered our questions and we were out the door in less than an hour. He’s very fast and made the buying process so easy. Must retain and promote !

I was trying to convince my husband we needed a new sofa so we stopped into Ashley Furniture. We were greeted by Heather and she was super helpful. They had a great selection in store so we were able to feel some out. Heather allowed us to browse without the pressure that you sometimes feel when going into furniture stores. The sales experience was truly top-notch. From the helpfulness and courtesy of the sales people through the purchase process there were no complaints. However, we purchased a floor model sofa and recliner. Meaning the product is sitting on the showroom floor, where day after day people continue to sit on it and potentially damage it. We are now being told it will take nine days from the day we purchased it until it can be delivered. That is unacceptable for floor room samples that are clearly ready to be picked up and delivered. The delivery is 20 miles. That is lousy customer service.
We have found many items here to furnish our condo. This trip, I ordered a rocker recliner for the bedroom.

I had the pleasure of working with Heather and Debbie. We were in need of a new mattress and bed frame. We have bought from Ashley’s about 10 years prior and had wonderful experience. So why not return. I spoke to Heather for the initial meeting- our schedules didn’t align. So she set me up with Debbie . Debbie was so helpful through the entire process. She wasn’t pushy with anything - but explained the products very well. She made sure we got the best for our buck. And even helped with the best way to finance our findings. Even the other staff members that weren’t with us - were very friendly. All had a smiles on their face. From Heather to Debbie to the financial ladies to all the other staff members. The very best customer service, from the moment we walked through the door! We were greeted by Justin, who went above and beyond to help us find exactly what we were looking for! Justin was super knowledgeable about the furniture and explained everything about the different qualities of materials, answering any questions we had, with no pressure for us to make a purchase. Justin provided us with printouts of the designs we were interested in to take home and consider, and we returned a few days later to make our purchase. Justin spoke of the store ownership, with pride, explaining the owners desires to provide their customers with top-notch customer service. The store itself was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and full of artwork and decor. We drove 40 miles to shop here, and we couldn't be happier about the experience! I ordered a huge order on June and we are at the end of Sept and still waiting for parts of my delivery. I got parts delivered already a week ago. If you don’t mind waiting for months it’s ok to order here.
My experience with Ashely Furniture was a let down and not what I expected. I will say that Mr. Middleton did an awesome job on the day of purchase. Every other phase was horrible. From the months wait to damage my home during delivery. I literally just want to return everything, they fix these damages and we call it even...
The absolute worst experience. Paid extra for home setup and delivery and the furniture arrived damaged. It has been three weeks without resolution or replacement of the damaged furniture. Customer service has been extremely unhelpful.
I never enjoyed purchasing furniture until yesterday at Ashley Furniture in Okatie,SC thanks to my salesperson, Alicia. I am not exaggerating when I say Alicia made buying a bedroom set ENJOYABLE AND FUN!!!! She was so kind and professional without being pushy. She didn't hurry me and made me feel at ease. Alex Walker was phenomenal! I am a picky person with unique taste and personal opinions on furniture. She could not have been more patient, knowledgeable and helpful. She welcomed my particular requests and provided very helpful suggestions to lead us to excellent furniture for our home. We went with living room help in mind but were so impressed with Alex Walker, we were eager to knock out the bedroom too! Can’t wait to return for a few more odds and ends, but will always request Alex Walker each and every time.
The material for the bed and dressers are TERRIBLE. My dresser broke in less than a year after paying a couple hundred dollars for it. The bed has held together but is not very sturdy. We have spent thousands here- and are very disappointed.

Paid in full for a couch over 13 weeks ago. Was told 6 weeks for delivery but could be as long as 10 weeks (post 10 weeks you can get a full refund). From week 8, I called once a week for an update and never received a clear answer for delivery. This past weekend, we were told it still hasn’t shipped to arrive at the warehouse. So I Called today to cancel my order and I’m still waiting for a call back to complete the cancellation and be refunded. Overall my sales representative was amazing, however the execution to get the couch has been very disappointing.

On our return to the store, he was very patient and helpful-even remembering what we were looking for and he showed us a new arrival which we purchased. The delivery came in before we expected, and Scott and Vic were great when they delivered our items! Highly recommend and love the nautical extras throughout the store, several of which are now in our new home!
I had a wonderful experience at the Bluffton store thanks to my "furniture soulmate" Heather Kudlo. She was lovely and knowledgable but NOT pushy. I didn't know what I wanted and she graciously guided me through the pillow and mattress purchasing process. With so many options, I felt overwhelmed. She made the process much easier and asked me the right questions to know which mattresses would be best for my husband and I. I was so grateful she made the process so much more enjoyable and I will definitely be returning to purchase more furniture when I know Heather is available. I had the pleasure to work with Alicia on my way into the store as my sales person Heather was out of town that day. She helped me with my questions and walking me through the store showing me what would work with my taste and style. Then I came back in the next day to place my order with Heather who came in on her day off to make the sale for me before sale ended. She again walked me through the store and we put a living room together that would work for me and what I needed. This young lady went above and beyond to make the sale work for me. She put several finance plans together as what was advertised wasn’t going to work for me financially. But she came back with alternatives so I could get the living room I wanted. I was most grateful!! The service from the showroom to delivery was an epitome of customer service. With texts, calls and emails letting me know about my order, when it would arrive and a delivery man an his helper that were kind , considerate respectful and thorough making sure everything was set up to my liking before they left. This store delivers, from all.poinys of views. Proffesional, fast and salen are really welcoming and no high pressure sales. I do not like being attacked by sales like a used car sales person. Went int there a couple of times before we bought a sofa, Welcomed everytime.

EDIT: they sent a tech to “touchup” the chipped paint and are now calling this monstrosity “back to showroom quality”. (Photos below). It literally looks like a blob of clay on my nightstands now. I explained I was still Not satisfied and was told a manager was going to call me. That was a week ago. Still no call… If I could give this store zero stars I would. I bought furniture from them and was told delivery would take 6-8 weeks. After many frustrating hours on the phone I received half my bedroom furniture 10 months later then the other have 2 months after that. I was constantly given the run around about where my furniture was and when it did arrive half had to be refused or replaced due to poor workmanship and/or scratches. Now I’m dealing with a whole new headache because not even a year into owning my bedroom furniture the paint on the nightstands is completely chipping off. Ashley refuses to replace the defective nightstands and is only offering to send someone to touch up the paint. I’m livid. Ashley’s is a scam. Do not fall for the lies and deceit. Run as far away as you can!

My husband and I bought a couch and bed the first week of September, we paid all up front and dan helped us, he was spectacular! That’s the only reason for 1 stars. But we were told at the latest our furniture would be delivered is October 15th. So we waited patiently. First week of October, so last week, we called and they said that is would be arriving to the warehouse on Wednesday and would be delivered this week, as we were promised at the purchase in September. We hadn’t heard anything so we called again yesterday to hopefully schedule a delivery and we are now told it won’t even arrive to the warehouse for deliver until the 20th and we might not have our furniture till the 25th. We are very dissatisfied and disappointed that we have been lied to and still don’t have furniture that we paid full price up front for. I’m only writing this review to hope that someone gets us a true answer on when we can get what we paid for. Thank you!
Buyer beware with Ashley Furniture- we had two problems with a twin and queen headboard and mattress set. The furniture was delivered in Sept. 2022. 1) When the the furniture was delivered the delivery person could not assemble the beds because they were not provided the hardware kit that comes with each headboard. He said it would be mailed to me and then to call back to schedule installation. After a couple of weeks I called Ashley to ask on the status of the hardware kits and found out it would not be available until Dec. A couple of days later they sent a hardware kit to my house for one of the beds but the bolts were too short and it had missing parts. Multiple phone calls to Ashley and speaking to a Manager resulted in an installer arriving with 8 bolts, some washers and 7 nuts. When the installer installed the bolts in queen bed rails the holes in the headboard did not line up, so the queen headboard was 1/2 inch off the floor. The nuts on all the bolts were not tightened and one bolt did not have a nut on it. This installation was incomplete and unacceptable. 2) Both headboards had paint damage and require touch-up/repair. We're in the process of scheduling a tech to address that, we'll see how that goes. I would not recommend buying from Ashley Furniture. Quality of the furniture was poor and the debacle of not having the hardware to assemble the furniture is unacceptable, why would Ashley schedule delivery if they don't have all the parts to assemble it? These are simple nuts and bolts that you can buy at any hardware store, why can't Ashley provide them to assemble the furniture?

My wife and I built a new house and had a hard time deciding on a sectional for our living room. I met Heather who showed us several options based on the details we provided. All of this was CoVID so options were limited. Heather was a gem and emailed me photos with measurements based on the different configurations we were looking at. We had some delays as with anything shipping these days. With any change, Heather kept us well informed. All in all, we are very pleased with the sectional as well as the customer service we received from Heather! I will be returning for future furniture needs! I also forgot to mention that my dog found her new favorite spot in the house.
We moved to Margaretville in SC from UpState NY, in April 2022. We move to Bluffton in May of 2021, brought no furniture with us. After several weeks of looking for furniture we bought 95% of our furniture at The Ashley Store in Bluffton, SC. We were greeted at the door by our now "friend" Heather, an Ashley associate. She was Very helpful in showing us everything we wanted. She was very Knowledgeable of all the furniture in the store. She went above and beyond to get us the best price for everything we bought. They were able to "hold" the furniture until our new home was completed, which was very helpful for us. We had some delays in getting some pieces of furniture due to Covid/Supply Chain issues, but most of it arrived in time to move into our new home. Heather and Brad, the store manager, have done some amazing things so we get the 1 piece of furniture we are waiting on. They are amazing. If you are looking for good quality furniture and a great price, go to Ashely in Bluffton, SC and ask for Heather. She will give you amazing service and the best price around for you.
They have good sales associates but they delivery service takes too long and the response service is pretty bad
Excellent experience. My husband and I went to Ashley Furniture in Okatie last Sunday. When we walked in, I asked to look around without a sales person. No problem, and the nice gentleman introduced himself and that was that. Awesome. We found the perfect couch about two minutes later and Daniel Allen was right there! We loved working with Daniel, he was fun, helpful and got us a great deal. Thanks Daniel for putting up with Greg's jokes! We'll probably be back for one of those Purple beds. I recently purchased my leather living room suite at Ashley furniture in Bluffton. This was a top of the line set that was $7,000. In exactly a year my leather has started to wear off. I thought my leather was warranted for 5 years, oh no that was the extended warranty that I bought for $800 So when I contacted Ashley they proceeded to tell me my warranty was up a couple of months ago so that left me with my extended warranty that thank god I got because this would have been a different situation had I not purchased the $800 warranty. long story short after working with the extended warranty a replacement part comes to my house. So fed up I go to my local store. I spoke to a manager named brad that proceeded to tell me no worries ur extended warranty will cover it. I told brad that I could purchase an extended warranty anywhere and asked him what my incentive for shopping Ashley furniture again since I can buy furniture anywhere and purchase an extended warranty and pay much less for my living room set. Brad told me he didn’t have an answer for me, no incentive to shop Ashley again!!! So I guess I will take brads word for it and shop somewhere else next time and save lots of money as well.

Both Daniel and Heather were extremely friendly and helpful in making our purchase a pleasant experience. They were helpful without being overbearing, and both were extremely knowledgeable. We will definitely return to this store for any future purchases because of them.
Great place for reasonable prices.
Selection was great, although due to all of the shipping issues, expect delays in delivery. Just par for the course right now everywhere. Sales person (Debbie) was awesome. Showed us where the specific pieces we were after were located. Let us try out everything and take our time without hovering over us. Checked in with us a few times in case we had any questions.
The designer Dan was very helpful but the rest of the employees kind of just sat around and looked at us! Very nice selection but everything has a long waiting time!

I recently visited this Ashley Store in search of a mattress after a terrible experience ordering one online. I met salesperson Daniel Allen and was immediately impressed with his warm friendly demeanor. He listened to everything I had to say and knew exactly where to start. He introduced me to several firm mattresses and was able to answer all of my questions about each. As I was trying them, he was patient and seemed genuinely interested in helping me. After trying a few, I chose the Serta icomfort firm and am very excited about the upcoming delivery. I would recommend Daniel Allen to anyone looking for a mattress.

Bought a leather couch and loveseat just 2 years ago and the couch has started to peal and tear. As I had a leather couch previously for over 10 years never thought this would happen! Very disappointed and no I didn’t buy the extended warranty I’m under the assumption furniture should last more than 2 years!

The only reason I gave one star is because our sales person was so nice when we purchased our living room set. My husband and I purchased a couch and chair for our living room in June. We were told 6-8 weeks and per our paperwork 8-12 weeks even. Okay fine. We are in a pandemic, I get that. However, every time we call, the person on the phone is absolutely so rude and our date keeps getting pushed back farther. I called in August for an update. Was told end of September. Called just now end of September) and I’m now being told November. This is completely unacceptable. Then when I asked about cancelling my order, I was told I would have to lose 20% of my order. Mind you we spent almost $2,500.00.. and to top it off the person I spoke with at this location was incredibly rude!! I questioned why I would have to lose money when the store can’t fulfill my order when they said they would and her response was “No no, YOU want to cancel YOUR order.” I asked for a supervisor and she said there was not one working after telling me she was new so I know that wasn’t the case because as a manager of a business myself, you don’t leave the new person there alone so she was clearly lying. She was so rude so I ended the phone call. It’s funny how a business gets to keep my money but refuses to give me what I paid for. If I was making payments I bet they would be quick to delivery my items. I will NEVER order from Ashley again and I will be filing a formal complaint(currently on hold with corporate) to corporate and The Better Business Bureau. This is absolutely unacceptable.

She went above and beyond (over a number of days,) to help us figure out exactly what we needed. She was friendly, patient, and very knowledgeable. We visited our favorite furniture store, Ashley Furniture, last week to shop for a reclining love seat. Alicia greeted us at the entrance with a big smile and ready to help us. She spent an hour showing us all the different loveseats and answering our questions. I am writing to express our great experience with Ashley Furniture over the last 10 years and to express dismay at the negative reviews due to delayed arrival times for ordered furniture. Before the days of Covid, order times could be 4 to 6 weeks for some pieces. Sales people and Kyle were always personable and helpful. The deliveries always went smoothly and all furniture pieces are still wearing and functioning exceptionally. We plan to continue to shop here for some additional furniture this year. As to those who want to be negative in reviews due to problems not caused by the staff here, possibly you should call the manufacturers and complain to them plus all the other businesses (auto, appliances, etc.) that are having the same issues over the last year getting parts and workers. We are moving from FL in a few months to Bluffton, SC and called to order our furniture. We had gone to our local Ashley store to pick out what items we wanted to order. Our salesman was Kyle, who was wonderful. He took the time to answer our many questions and never rushed us with decisions. He was professional, but also fun and friendly. He even stayed late to finish our order. Doing a long-distance phone order made us nervous, but Kyle made it simple and got back to us with every detail promptly. In fact the very next day we had to call and make a change as we realized one of the items would not fit in our new place and Kyle promptly took care of everything. I just got my new sofa and recliner today! Yay! I was so excited because we thought the sofa wasn't probably going to come until October with all the crazy shortages and who knows when the recliner was coming because it was out of stock...But imagine my surprise when our great salesperson Kyle texted to say that my order was actually coming this month! And here it is!! The delivery guys were great and quick! The delivery came even sooner than the schedule said so I was very happy. Already took my first official nap on my recliner! My husband and I came into Ashley's today set on searching for a living room set. I'm very picky and came prepared with specific details we were looking for. Kyle was our salesperson and was very helpful and patient with us. He recommended a set that we ended up purchasing. He also took the time to carry a coffee table from one part of the store to the couches for a viewing, which we also ended up purchasing. He's very knowledgeable about his craft, knows the products and definitely recommend anyone to him. Five stars!

Just left the Bluffton store. Not one single sells person acknowledged we were in the store or offered to help. Called the manager to let him know. He didn't seem to care either. We certainly will not return to Ashley furniture in Bluffton.

Please don’t waste your time with this store in Bluffton. The manager Brad was no help when our one piece of furniture keeps getting delayed with delivery. We ordered a dresser in January, and initially told it would be delivered end of February. Not only was delivery changed to end of March, we were just now told the end of April, and they consistently have failed to notify us of the delayed delivery. We just want our dresser that we ordered and the manager will not help with following up with getting our dresser delivered when they verbally tell us an expected date. We even asked for the floor model without getting a decrease in cost, but the manager still will not budge on helping us. It’s one piece of furniture that they keep promising a certain delivery date and fail to meet. He wouldn’t give us the number to a district or regional manager as well, to de-escalate our ongoing situation and at this point it’s bad business from Ashley Furniture. Which is why we write this review. We are a military family and speaking to the military family community that constantly needs to move and buy new furniture immediately because of the moves, please do not waste your effort on this store, if something goes wrong the willingness to help you is not an option for this store, specifically Brad who is the manager of the Bluffton location.

The whole experience was horrible from start to finish. We were very mislead by the first sales rep who told us to hold off on purchasing in Bluffton and to go see him in Savannah so he can give us a better deal. Go down to Savannah, yeah no deal was made as the price he gave us there was the exact same. We then ended up purchasing from another sales person who got us all set. We ordered back in early September and they told us it would a 6 week turn around for all items which was fine as we were not moving in until Nov. I myself then call to ensure we are all set and I get so someone who says it is pushed back a week..ok..frustrating as no one called me to tell me this and I called myself called. Got all my items except my bed and bed frame when I asked where that was they said ohh thats on back order and you wont get it for another two months. WHAT!? Once again, was no one going to call and tell me this. The lady then says that my sales rep should have been in contact. No, he took his commission form us and never heard from them again. After complaining we finally ended up with everything as needed within another three weeks and not two months. I once again called every week and they kept changing the date to sooner and then later, sooner and then later. Very horrible time framing. I really don't want to hear that COVID is the reasoning because the communication is the problem and not Covid. I then have my bed frame for less than a month and it broke Christmas morning when I looked at the wood, it was not even really wood. It was glued together saw dust. It was the cheapest material and pallets for the mattress to sit on. I then asked for a refund which they refused and said the would replace it. I told them no and that the bed frame was horrible and does not work with the mattress I also bought from them. I exchanged it for another alternative and instead of saying we will come pick up the broken bed frame free of charge and give you the alternative they wanted to charge me $70 delivery fee. No, I will go get it myself. After getting to the warehouse they said that I had to bring the bed frame to them and that they wont give me the new stuff unless they had it. They said they texted me to bring it to me however, they sent me dozens of messages over the past two months with meaningless information. Whatever, finally after all my hardships they decided they would pick up the old bed frame and drop off the new stuff free of charge, they just wont set it up. At this point, just give me my stuff and lets be done. Long story short, spend your money else where and don't waste your time. Positive note, the couch works great.
Great furniture!! Debbie Ives was our sales representative and she was absolutely Fantastic!! Got new leather sofa and loveseat and a recliner rocker! Beautiful and comfortable! Our recliner was running late and Debbie kept me in the loop at all times. She's the best, ask for her by name and wait to be impressed!
Mike the sales manager was terrific. He was extremely helpful and patient. So personable, kind, gave you space when needed to look and discuss, and very knowledgeable.

Very unorganized, bed set was supposed to be here the end of September, no one called me to tell me it was there I had to call up there myself on top of that they messed up my delivery date after I paid more $$ for them to set it up!! I will NEVER purchase any furniture from this store again!!

People here are helpful when you're buying but any issues with the furniture you'll have to call the 1-800 number since they're just a franchise location.
We founded the sectional seats that we like in this store so we asked the guy with pink shirt since he came to us at beginning that we enter the store. He was doing something with pc when we wanted ask about the sectional seat. And he told my husband to wait until he finishes what he is doing. So another staff asked him if she can help us but he refused her. We felt like we were not important customer for him. I don’t know what kind of customer service is it.

I am only giving 2 stars because everyone that I have dealt with has been great. I purchased a sectional couch, and 2 dressers in April and were told they should be in at the end of May or beginning of June. I finally had enough in the middle of June when I hadn’t received anything and went to the store and was told that nothing would be delivered until the end of July. Thankfully they pushed my order to get my dressers. When the delivery guys came, they brought the dressers and one piece to my sectional. When we took the dressers out of the box, one of them was damaged. I called and they said we would get a brand new one then got a call the next day stating that the dresser had been discontinued and they would send a repair man out to fix it. I went to the store and asked for a discount because this is a $600 dresser that I bought brand new and now it would have to be refurbished. I received a $50 Ashley gift card in which they then canceled the repair man because “we got a discount”. My husband called and thankfully they sent us the parts to the dresser that we have to put on ourselves. Our couch has been delivered piece by piece, and every time we have called to ask about pieces of our couch the delivery date is pushed back further and further. We even asked if they could take the one piece of the the couch back, which was the corner piece of the sectional, and just take the couch off of our purchase so we could go somewhere else so we could buy a couch that would come in all together and on time and they told us they couldn’t do that due to Covid. The one piece we had, sat in our dining room in the plastic and everything for over a month before we finally got another piece to our couch. We’re still waiting on the third one but apparently that won’t come in until the end of next month. This has been the worst purchasing experience I have ever had and after I pay off what I bought, I will never purchase from Ashley again. The customer service was amazing, they tried to help the best they could but this experience has been a nightmare.

DO NOT DO NOT order furniture from here at all! This company should be banned for being able to continue to sell furniture! They are taking orders and everyone’s money and refusing to actually deliver the furniture on time. I have read thousands and thousands of stories and the company is using Covid as an excuse. If they are having issues with delivery, they need to outsource it and pay a little more freight to make sure they deliver on time or quit selling until they fix their supply chain. We have been lied to multiple times and customer service always call the day of the delivery to cancel. Is this a joke? Yet they are still “closed” and “do not deliver on Sundays and Mondays” because it hurts peoples feelings to work overtime even when they can’t deliver what was promised. This company is a joke. Better to spend money elsewhere and pay more then deal with these clowns.
Very cheap quality for expensive price.Couch has very weak frame and feels like it will come apart at any time. Im not for sure but the floor models seems to be built better,I will be going back and inspect the floor models.
Always a pleasant experience. Was looking for a small chaise lounger for a child's bedroom. They didn't have many chaises but daughter found other chairs that she liked. We were able to a great one plus it was discontinued so we get a great deal on it.
We purchased a sectional and upon arrival one piece was damaged, so they had to order a replacement. Within one week, one of the pieces to the ottoman had come off, a few days after that, the clip that hold the sectional together fell off so the pieces would separate every time someone sat down. There is also a dent in the front of the frame. Having said that, of the 4 pieces, all 4 have had some type of defect. Now after only a few months of having the couch, the fabric is beginning to piIl and it makes a squeaking sound each time you sit down. I called to report the issues immediately and the customer service rep was extremely helpful (she is the only reason I am giving them 2 stars), and tried to help the best that she could. I explained that perhaps this was not the couch for us and inquired about exchanging it for something that might be a bit more durable and better quality. She, in turn, explained that we could not exchange it once it was delivered. Unfortunately, at the time it was delivered, I didn’t know how poor the quality would be. The couch was very nice looking and very comfortable...until it started falling apart and pilling. All of the parts to “repair” the couch were sent to me, however, due to COVID 19 the repair has not been scheduled. I cannot speak to the repairs yet, obviously, however, the fact that all 4 pieces required repairs within 2 weeks of owning the sofa doesn’t say much for their quality. We were considering furnishing a 3600 square foot rental home, so I am thankful that we didn’t decide to do that through Ashley! Extremely disappointed in their quality.
This company is terrible! I ordered a couch. They gave me a delivery date. The couch never came. I called to see where my couch is and they said oh sorry it will be another three weeks I don’t know where your couch is and they hung up! I still have e no couch!!!!
I bought 6800.00 worth of Furniture in February 2020. My Leather love seat would not close all the way on I ne side. It was this way when delivered, it is May 15th and it still isn't fixed. J do not recommend doing business with Ashley because of this. I should have never accepted the furniture to begin with. I would recommend doing business elsewhere.
Let me start by saying I really enjoyed our sales associate, Myra. She was outstanding! However, after purchasing the ball was dropped...multiple times. We didn't get our furniture set up for delivery for 6 weeks. The day its set to be delivered we were delivered the wrong color sofa and the wrong loveseat all together. They took the sofa back with them and left the loveseat. The loveseat is broken and clicks every time you sit on it so I don't want anyone sitting on it to cause further problems for furnitire that isn't mine, which means I have no living room furniture to sit on. I called customer service to see what needed to be done to get the correct furniture delivered and was told they would call me back after speaking to the store manager. I never received a call. I called back again and was told the same thing. Never received a call. I called the store myself and spoke with Brad. He said he had to call distribution and he'd call me back. Never received a call. Finally after a long game of my phone tag, my husband walked him through the process to find out where my furniture was and pretty much did his job for him. He told us we would be recieving it today, a week and a half later. I've been waiting on a call to confirm delivery today and haven't heard anything. Finally my husband gets in touch with Brad and he says he has no idea if its even scheduled, he has to make a call and call us back. The furniture is not in stock today and "should" be in tomorrow, which means I "could" receive it Tuesday but he isn't sure. So we're looking at 2+ weeks with nothing in my living room to sit on. Both my husband and myself have worked and managed retail stores and this is simply not how you manage problems if and when they do come up. I am extremely disappointed in how Brad has handled the issue and after reading through other reviews I see I'm not the only one.
I am giving three stars because I loved our sales rep! I understand she has zero to do with how our order was handled after she completed the sale. It took 8+ weeks to get our furniture, and we still do not have all of the items! I advise anyone considering this store to shop the store but buy on the website as the turnaround is a week instead of months. Made multiple calls for the manager Brad to contact us to no avail.

Purchased a symmetrical sectional. It came damaged. I could not reach the delivery man, phone does not connect to driver from customer, only to customer from driver. Holes , nails sticking out. Paid cash for Larusi sectional that was delivered 3-4 weeks later with the chaise damaged. We were told to expect a call three-four days later to arrange to delivery of a new chaise. No call. Reached out to the store, customer service disconnected me the first time, the second time was put on hold indefinitely again, and the third time, the manager emailed the warehouse for an update. Warehouse was supposed to call the next day, but they didn’t. When manager called them back, and customer service called me the next day, there was still no update on the chaise. As of now, still waiting, and the warehouse is closed for three days. Looks like we will be requesting a refund on the whole living room set. On a better note, the partial couch that we have is very comfy for one person and the fabric is durable as well.
Love shopping at Ashley Furniture, bought a sleeper sofa and its extremely comfortable with the upgraded mattress and all my guests find the sofa comfy. The fabric holds up well against dogs (2 big dogs) and a kitten and reptiles, got the Accrington. Highly recommend. Brad, Heather, Debbie, Amanda, Alicia and Daniela are all fabulous to work with!
We ordered an entertainment unit at the end of August 2019. Were told that delivery and set up would be approximately 4 weeks, give or take 2 weeks on each side. Indeed, the delivery was 6 weeks later. The delivery men were very friendly but said they could not connect the unit to the wall due to a power surge in the back. They didn't mention (or didn't know?) that there were brackets (which we found after they left) which they could have used to attach the unit to the wall. Unfortunately the unit is not stable and we are concerned it may tip over. However, I called last week and was told they could not be here until October 18th!!! The delivery and set up company is a contractor of Ashley Furniture and they made a point of stating that they were separate. I called the manager at Ashley and he too said there is "nothing I can do" to expedite the proper completion of the set up (which we paid for). I suggested they need to contract with a different set up and delivery company since this one is clearly stretched beyond its abilities. Donna Baumwell & John Donne

We picked out our furniture from the Savannah store, paid for it over the phone on Aug. 8th (money came out of our account)A week later we find out that the furniture was ordered incorrectly twice and that we would need to drive back to Savannah to sign for it and pay the difference before they would actually "order" it. We did not hear from them again so we called them on September 7th to find out when our furniture would be arriving. They told us that it would not be arriving until September 18th. We honestly believe that had we not called them we would not have heard from them till October. VERY disappointed. My sister ordered her furniture from Ashley Furniture and received it like 2 weeks later. Just moving here (without any furniture) from across the country, you would think that you would be able to buy something off the floor and not have to wait 2 months for furniture.
Wife and I moved to South Carolina recently and stopped by Ashley by chance and boy were we lucky. Heather helped us find furniture and got us great deals without making us feel pressured which helped us buy the right furniture to make our house our home. The prices were great and they even helped us get under budget for our couch and dresser. Would highly recommend this Ashley furniture!
I was at first nervous because we found we were over charged for the couch compared to the online price, but they did end up honoring it. I did not like that they continued to push the protection plan. I’ve bought it before and the company would never actually service the furniture, so I would not waste money on that. In the end the couch was delivered in a little over 2 weeks, which was amazing timing considering they had to order the pieces. The delivery drivers were a few hours early, but fortunately my husband took the whole day off. They even moved our old couch to our garage, and were incredibly helpful and respectful. The couch is amazing and the quality is 100% what I was hoping for. Make sure to check prices first, but over all the store ended up being helpful and provided good customer service. I just wish they would stop being so pushy with the protection plan. I would for sure recommend this store to others in the area.

Since writing my first review, I experienced some very suspect and unsettling things with this store and my neighbors have as well. So in brief, DO NOT trust the promises made by the store manager Jay. ____________________________________________ My wife and I love this store. Since moving here from San Diego, we have made Ashley our number one place to shop for home furnishings. The staff is excellent and very knowledgeable, helpful and accommodating. The furniture is well made and a great value. We always ask for Amanda as she was our original assistant back in 2016. You will not be disappointed. In addition to the aforementioned qualities, Amanda is also very witty and a pleasure to be around.
Please Please Please take your business somewhere else.... Ask around their reputation is horrible in this area.... they lure you in make the sale then your screwed its then between you and their distribution center in georgia that will not make contact with you and you will wait months for your product and the worthless store manager could careless about you go somewhere else
WE WERE TOLD WE GET A FULL REFUND AND WE HAVE YET TO RECEIVE IT!!!! What a joke!!!! Give me my money back! We have no couch and are out $1800!!! We got our sectional delivered yesterday, and the guys who delivered it damaged our couch! The frame on the wedge was broken in half, rip on the side, and white marks EVERYWHERE!! They even damaged a wall in our home!! We’ve been getting the run around, and was told since the delivery guys broke it they can’t replace it! WHAT IS THAT?! Take responsibility for your employees! I’m so upset about this! They ended up giving us an email to send pictures to, and was told a manager would contact us.. but no one called us back after they received the email. I asked for store credit so we can just go ahead and pick a different couch, because this is just not okay and I have no time to wait for them to order a new one!! This is not how you treat your customers after your employees have done something wrong!! This couch was over $1800!!!! If nothing is done about this soon, I’m definitely taking this to corporate!!!
The prices to high
Not open until 8pm like their Google page states. In fact, they close at 7pm. The store should make an effort to update this for those that use Google (essentially most people)
We had been shopping for reclining leather sofas. Looked online. Went the store. Worked with Amanda and were able to get the sofas we liked and a new dining room.set. Ask for Amanda, but all the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and outgoing. We will be back.
Absolutely horrific couch purchase. Had to wait two months for delivery, they tried to charge us for delivery after they "forgot" to put our couch on the truck the first month after purchase. The couch was delivered four weeks after the initial date we were told. When we got the bill it was $200 more than the receipt. Pay attention if you buy, they will try to scam you.

Great store with great selection. But the one lady that greeted us at the door was ANNOYING! My husband and I were just wanting to look around, we told her if we needed her we would let her know, but literally EVERY TIME we turned around she was lurking close behind, like following us through the store and would notttttt leave us alone. It was extremely rude and made us super uncomfortable, we had all intentions of purchasing that day, but left because we were so uncomfortable.
Don’t waste your time. New homeowners and we were so excited about a great kitchen table with stools. Ordered it January 21. We get free shipping because of the military. We were told it wouldn’t be delivered until late February early March. Welp it’s early March and NO WORD. No email no call. We had to call asking where our kitchen table is. We’ve been eating on the floor for awhile now. They offered free delivery and that it wouldn’t be in until late March. Poor communication. I was so excited about this table set too.

Their store is nice and the furniture is of better quality but the delivery times keep growing. My last purchase has taken over 7 weeks to be delivered. If your in no hurry then your okay otherwise look else where.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Took forever to come in the first time. Then they canceled my delivery the day before that I already set up and took off work for because they sent it to the wrong warehouse and I had to wait again for a different one to be sent to the right warehouse, tried to call and get them to fix the issue, horrible customer service they did nothing to fix THEIR mistake. Wouldn’t recommend if you don’t want to wait 2 months to get your damn furniture.

For anyone buying furniture in the Bluffton South Carolina do not shop at Ashley HomeStore - Bluffton, SC . In the past 18 month we have bought and paid for $$$$$ wort of furniture and consistently have fallen short on the deliveries. Our first purchase was 3 weeks late and showed up at 7:30 at night when scheduled for a 8am-12pm delivery. On our current purchase we were to have it delivered on the 13th but they scheduled it for the 21st with a delivery time of 1pm-4pm. Now they are not sure what time they will be arriving but as I was told probably around 7pm. This company is awful and is owned by the parrot group out of South Carolina. Unless you want to be completely inconvenienced do not shop here!!!!

Buyers be aware of Ashley furniture, I brought furniture from Ashley and one of the item dinning room chair broke apart and they refuse to fix my chair I have spoke to the mangers on three different occasions and still Ashley haven't fix my chair. I feel that any company who doesn't stand behind their product it's not worth buying their product.
We bought several thousands of dollars worth of furniture at this store and have been a repeat customer. Never again. Our experience this time was horrible! From the start there were issues. First the registers and payment systems were down when we tried to buy. We were told to come back. Then, although we had confirmed delivery dates, somehow the furniture kept disappearing from inventory and had to be reordered. At one point we were told it wouldn’t be restocked until January 2019 and this was in September 2018. Then some of it came in...but not all. After multiple reorders, and the store manager agreeing to sell us a floor model, we got a partial order delivered. The rest was to be in soon after. So every week for 6 weeks we have been calling and trying to track down the remainder of our order, and the date kept getting moved back by a week. Last week the warehouse called and we were told it would be in and at the store to be picked up today and the store manager would call us to confirm. However, no call back received. The phone staff is awful! Today, I called and when talking to Lily, she refused to try to help, just said that although our order now shows it’s in the warehouse, she can’t tell me when or if we can come pick it up at the store. The warehouse was supposed to tell the store manager a week ago that we were going to do that, yet no one seems to have gotten the message. Worse yet, Lily then actually just said she didn’t know anything and hung up on me!! My advice to anyone shopping there, go somewhere else!
Great place. Wonderful staff. We have made large purchases from this store a few times now and have always been pleased with the quality of our furnishings. Each time we had a considerate and friendly salesperaon that didnt make us feel pressured and who took the time to help us find what we really wanted or needed.
Needed a refurbished table leg for a dining room table thats no longer in production and the parts no longer stocked. The manager (Mr. Kozlowski) offered to have it repaired at no charge. Very much appreciated!

I was present in the store over 15 minutes never was asked if i needed help. I walked the entire store. Service is poor. Store was not busy few other customers. Sales person sitting around talking to each other.
I went into this store a week ago and purchased a living room set. I was given a delivery date for my furniture to arrive. The day before the delivery date, I received a call stating my delivery time was 1:15-3:15. Great. I changed my plans and waited around. 4:00 comes around and no phone call or furniture. I called the Ashley store and spoke to the manager. He laughed and said the delivery times aren’t his area of responsibility. He gave me the number for the delivery department. I spoke to them and asked what was going. The woman at the delivery department. She was very nice but did inform me that my delivery time was changed at the last minute to 3:15-5:15. I asked why I didn’t receive a phone call and she didn’t know why. My furniture finally showed up at 6:00. It did arrive in great condition and the delivery men were really nice. That’s the only reason I gave 3 stars instead of 1.
Ashley was our representative, she gave us plenty of space, asked us what we were looking for and informed us of our options then let us roam around for a bit, she followed up with us and gave us a very nice quote. We did find something we love, haven't purchased it just yet but will be back within the week probably to get it. Great price for everything you need in a sectional with chaise!
My experience at Ashley has always been amazing! I did not believe my sales person Anne when she said I needed the adjustable base for my bed. Boy was I wrong and happily so! Get one!!!
Wonderful Furniture, wonderful prices. I picked out all my furniture in the Chicago store and brought the information down to Bluffton and ordered it down here. I thought it was strange that the employee in Chicago helped me so much but got no credit for the sale ... Only the employee and Bluffton when I placed the order.
Ashley Furniture is an exclusive store to purchase high quality furniture and beds Sales personnel and floor managers are great with the customers , they let you work with whats best for you . The store floor plan is designed with a well lay out and lighting is excellent. 5 stars + give them a rating in customer excellence in addition to bonus purchases. Very Pleased and Satisfied.

If I could give Ashley furniture zero stars, I would. Reasons: 1. Initial delivery of a king size mattress, two twin XL box springs, and a metal frame got botched horribly. Only one box spring got delivered, which is obviously a problem. Then, upon opening the box to the metal frame, the brand new frame was rusted. 2. The redelivery process has now taken almost two months (calling and visiting the store multiple times per week) and we still do not have the proper box spring that we paid for. 3. The management has been only moderately accommodating in fixing this issue. They don’t seem to want to go out of their way to correct the issue. If you’re going to spend serious money like we did on a mattress, box springs, and a frame, I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere. The delivery system is terrible and the customer service is worse.
Jay, the manager, at Ashley furniture took customer service to a whole new level. He rectified a poorly addressed furniture care protection plan policy. I would highly recommend this store for anyone considering any furniture purchase!

I visited your store looking for a kitchen table. When I walked in the door there were 3 or more sales associate standing there no one acknowledge my entrance. As i was leaving a white couple walked in . Hello how're you.? How may I help you ? Really !? 2017 and people of color are being treated this way. In reply to your response. Why would I return to your business after being treated like I was. On top of that you're calling me a liar. Of course your response would be to protect your business. In spite of.what you said I know what happen. I took my business to RTG where I was treated with much respect and not the color of my skin.

So impressed with this store! Not only was it well laid out with the latest trends and styles, the staff was super friendly and professional. I stopped by a competitor earlier in the day and had to seach for a sales associate. Here I was greated right away with a big smile. I found the perfect sectional for my recently repainted living room and the mattress is unbelievable! Much thanks to everyone there, especially Heather. Manager Heather Santos and her team at Bluffton Ashley Furniture provide exceptional communication and customer service. Our delivery team lead by Benson was also outstanding. They are all very thorough, kind, accurate and compassionate in dealing with their customers. I would almost purchase more furniture just to see Benson again. Any minor issues we had were quickly and completely resolved by Heather.
Heather was so helpful when I shopped at the Ashley Furniture in Bluffton. She was knowledgeable and very friendly. I have recommended her to several of my friends who are looking to make a furniture purchase. They have all had a similar experience and were just as happy as I was!

Staff are polite and they do allow you to browse without bugging you for the most part. My problems were two fold. One, don't expect delivery when promised, tack at least an extra week on to the date given. Two, and this is important, make sure you are completely sure about what you order. I purchased a living room set, liked the couch and chair but the recliner didn't fit where i wanted it. They do NOT allow returns, i offered to do a restock fee and pay for return pick up. I was told no, sorry, you ordered it, its yours. So, i have a dining room and two more bedrooms that will be furnished from another store. I love my bedroom set but my couch is already a little saggy after just a couple of months. For this reason and for their return policy, i rate them 3 out of 5

Good Furniture. Bought a $2,000 sofa set from them on 3/1. They told me 2 weeks delivery time. Have not heard anything from them so I called them this morning for an update (3/15). Told me, very casually, that I should expect a call before the end of the week. So isn't that 3 weeks? Now I'm wondering when this damn furniture is going to show up. Maybe in April sometime? ** UPDATE 3-24-11 ** Furniture showed up 10 days after expected delivery on the 24th. If they just told me the 24th in the first place I would have been much happier however I am happy with the furniture, thank you.
