Staff are extremely unprofessional. One staff member who looks like Mac from Its always sunny in philadelphia followed me into a small corner of the store near couches and got so close to my face that I thought he was going to kiss me that I had to keep stepping back until there was nowhere left to step back to. I practically sprinted away from him and went and spoke to their other staff, namely an older woman who sits at the front and another staff member who sat besider her and I explained what happened in case it was not obvious and told them to clearly keep him away. The staff laughed after watching him do this to me. I was ready to furnish my entire newly bought home with furniture from this store and this was how they treated me.

Went to buy a new couch, and our sales person was Chris from NY. He gave us room to look without any pressure. When it came time to purchase the one we picked up, it was an easier process and he worked with us to get everything done. It was a pleasure to deal with the staff, including Brandon that helped us get the pickup we wanted.
Did some brief browsing today for a sectional and John Paul was super helpful. Welcomed us, grabbed us a water and let us roam. When we were ready, we gave us some advice on what was best for our lifestyle. Overall a great experience. Will definitely be back to work with John Paul!

Shopping for furniture with my family is usually about as enjoyable as herding cats. My neighbor is one of those "cat ladies" so I have prior experience. John Paul at Ashley furniture somehow turned our chaotic quest into an enjoyable adventure. We visited the store so many times the staff should have started charging us rent. I do need to give some credit as John Paul greeted us with a smile every single time, like we were old friends meeting for croissants rather than indecisive customers returning for the tenth time to look at the same couple couches. Important to add we visited 7 other furniture stores but the top notch customer service from staff and selection options kept us returning. John Paul’s patience deserves a medal—or maybe sainthood. He listened to our ever-changing preferences with the calm of a meditation guru. No matter how absurd our requests, he had an answer and a piece of furniture to match. The best part..the staff’s sense of humor. Turned our furniture hunt into a comedy routine. Another salesmen clapped on our way out after final purchase. Unsure if it was from amazement my wife finally made a decision or because we made room for other customers. It’s not helpful when we sit on furniture at the store like we are in our own living room. By the time we finally made our purchase, we were almost sad to leave. John Paul made what should have been a stressful ordeal into one of the most entertaining shopping experiences of our time. If you’re in the market for furniture and a good laugh, do yourself a favor and go see John Paul at Ashley furniture store. Just be prepared to work with such a caring human who really does take the time to hear your wants and find a solution. Next time I'll save the trouble and this will be my first and last stop for furniture shopping.

I have been relocated multiple times over the years and shame on me but I kept buying furniture from Ashley's. Service in store has always been good but never, and I mean not one time, have I EVER received my stuff in time or when promised. Most recently, and still waiting on it, we ordered a bed frame. Promised one date in the store, called to follow up and another date was given. Then received a call saying it's coming sooner and now today receive another call saying "not sure when it's coming but hopefully soon." Get it together Ashley Furniture!!!!

Purchased a sofa, oversized chair and recliner and had Deb as our salesperson. Very happy with our transaction!
Deb McCafferty made our furniture buying experience effortless. Then, the nightmare began. The first delivery team showed up without the proper parts to install our furniture. They just left without putting everything else together. They had to mail us the screws and bolts before someone could come back to put everything together. Then we find out the one bedroom set would still be another month before it could be delivered. We told them to cancel it. We are still waiting. Their customer service is non-existent. IF YOU'RE SMART, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE.
Lance helped me and my wife pick out furniture for our new house. He was incredibly helpful and friendly answered all our questions and took time to explain the products and service plans. He also recommended several restaurants to us as we are new to the area.

I love this store! I had such a great experience there, I was just out browsing and didn’t really expect to buy anything. I was waited on by this woman Susie, it really stuck for me since my best friend’s name is Susie. Anyway I think her last name is Sorrell. Great woman, super helpful and she taught me a lot about mattresses and bedding in general. I started thinking that my bed was getting fairly old 10+ years and like Susie told me, a good bed is one of life’s little pleasures. Boy was she right!! The new mattress, pillows and cover are so nice!! The quality is excellent, I really want to thank her!!

I had gone to RTG first liking for a recliner and thought I would check out a second store to compare prices and selection. Shortly after arriving at Ashley, I was greeted by Susie Sorrel and she proceeded to show me around. It was a great experience, I usually want to browse independently and the all for help once I have made a decision, but she was very helpful without trying to control my visit. Susie showed e some very nice pairings of recliners other accessories. In the end I bought several items and it was a great experience. I’m very pleased with the choices and it was a real pleasure to work with Susie. I would definitely sell her out next time.

Best experience at a furniture store EVER! The simple fact that Brandon greeted me as soon as I walked in, asked me if I knew what I was looking for or if I needed assistance. Once I told him I knew what I was looking for but wanted to look around a bit. Not once did he bug me! He simply sat back and waited until I made a complete round of the store and then approached me. I have left stores before in the middle of looking around because someone was constantly bugging me every time I turned around! Very friendly sales people but still waiting to see the type of customer service given on our sectional. Called for customer w to send out a tech as this sectional already looks old and is not, it is 7 months old and the cushions are sunken in and the pillows will not hold shape. Expensive piece for this to happen. We arrived home one day after calling for a tech and replacement cushions were covering the porch with no call or warning and is not the complete problem so we call again and are told they need to send the other items that might be the problem.Doesn’t it make more sense to send a tech first? We are now waiting for them to get a tech out while in the meantime we are stuck storing all these things in a small apartment. I think they need to take this back and we get a better quality item so we shall see.

I have never dealt with a more fraudulent company. I ordered a guest bed and was charged for this bed. On the day of delivery we were unable to get this bed into the room due to an odd layout in our home. I was told I would be issued a refund and instead I was charged for this item twice! When I reached out to customer service they said that since it's a pending charge I would have to wait 6 business days. I was also told that they are allowed to do this to "check for funds". Buyers please think twice before using this company so you do not end up in a situation like mine where you have $1562 pending against your account for a $781 item you never got.

Friendly enough, i bought a recliner from Ashley Furniture a while back, a party recliner. There was a recall on the recliner. Apparently, the electric LED lights have been setting peoples houses on fire, a very serious issue. I've filled out all of the forms required, was informed i should unplug the recliner, and i would be brought a new recliner that has been updated. Fine, this is not an issue. I was told it could take as long as 2 weeks. Well, i filled out these forms back in October. It is now January. I've Called Ashley Furniture and was assured it was just an error and that a repair guy would be out to fix the recliner even though i was told i would have a replacement, i have seen nor heard from anyone at Ashley. It seems that once they have the money for the product, the fake customer service really is an act and stops there. I've got the recliner because of back issues and have to recline to ease the pain. This has caused much pain and suffering, so now, along with back pain, i have had a serious headache. Update, as of 3/4/2024 - have not resolved issue. I have texted with the store and have spoken with the store, I have spoken with customer service. 6 times I have been told that a schedule team will contact me within 1 week, 6 times I have been flat out, lied to. This was supposed to be resolved back in October of 2023. Update: as of 4/15/2024 - the issue has been finally fixed. Oddly, they mailed me the parts, had to call and set up another appointment, and apparently, they thought I would repair the chair myself. But a repair man finally came out and fixed the chair, and it took all of 15 mins. 7 months to schedule and 15 mins to fix. Take from this what you will.

Had the most ridiculous experience with Brandon here yesterday. They didn't have the item available to order that I wanted, which is not a big deal, supply chain issues are a thing, and I'm a reasonable human. Instead of trying to help us find a similar item, in a very bullying joking manner he accused me of finding the one thing in the store that wasn't available. He was also visibly grumpy we didn't buy anything, but requested we leave him a 5 star review for what I'm assuming is some internal employee competition. Not sure what I'm supposed to be reviewing, his high school jock attitude and bad jokes? We didnt purchase anything. We have had good service at this store previously but will no longer be coming here. 2 stars because of how entertaining we found this interaction.

After weeks and weeks of looking, I found my most perfect couch at Ashely on Harbison. I didn’t know anyone there so I was randomly assigned a salesperson to help me, and I really got lucky on this one. Chad was the best! He went above and beyond to help me make my choices on how to configure this dream couch, very patiently measuring everything 2-3 times for me, as I kept trying different combinations. (Modular sectional) He never seemed anything but happy to do that for me, and we all know (as women), how quickly they can run out of patience with us when it comes to those kinds of things. Lol. Then, he helped me get the very best price available, looking at different price combinations. The only issue I had was with delivery, and even though it was not part of his job anymore, once Chad found out about the trouble I was having, he stepped in and handled that for me as well, staying in communication with me all along, and I never had to make a call or contact anyone else about it. He took care of everything. I seriously can’t say enough to explain how above and beyond he went to make sure everything was just right and to ensure that Ashley furniture was a place I would want to do business with again. Highly recommend!!

Augusta is a small town leaving very little options as far as furniture stores. With that being said I was able to finally visit this new location. It's huge inside and there is a lot to see. I was searching for full size bed frames but ended up looking at their large selection of mattresses. I was being helped by Lance and he knew a whole lot about mattresses. He encouraged me to lay on the different mattresses and fully explained the benefits of each kind/brand and their price points. This was much better than online shopping and making a decision based on random online reviews. I appreciated his knowledge and patience with my questions. Very professional when it came to conducting business. Came right in and picked out exactly what I saw online for the same price.
I purchased an item over the summer and received notification that it has been recalled. Unfortunately, the item can't be used until the company issues a repair order. I have spent countless hours trying to get the company to repair the item and keep getting the run around. The team responded to this review by asking me to text them. As of now, I sent a text both yesterday and today but haven’t received a response. 12/15/23 Update: I finally received a text noting how busy they are but no action has occurred. It’s been months. I’m unable to use the furniture because it has been recalled due to the possibility of catching on fire. A repair has yet to be scheduled. 12/27/23- I still haven’t received any notification regarding a solution or repair.
My salesman Jon was a pleasure to work with. He took the time to understand the look I was going for and showed me pieces that would look good in the spaces I was trying to furnish. He didn’t attempt to oversell me on things I didn’t need, which helped me stay within my desired budget. When I need additional items for my place, I will definitely be coming back to see Jon and the rest of the folks at Ashley Furniture.

They had what I needed, a recliner, to sleep in after triple heart by pass surgery. They would not sell me the floor model and replace it the next day from the warehouse. The Sales Associate tried talking to the Store Manager. But no exceptions.

I came here just to tell you about the most amazing experience I've ever had at a retail store. The stuff in the store is regular Ashley stuff. Went there to find accent chairs. Couldn't find any that fit my specifications, but I found a small table at an unbeatable price. The buying process was decent, nothing to write home about. It is what happened after that I must talk about. I made a mistake. The table (an assembled floor model), wouldn't fit in my vehicle. The people in the store were my rescue angels. They ran about getting tools, helped me dismantle the table, stayed a whole hour after closing, just to ensure I could load the table. Eddy, Edward and the lady whose name I didn't get, forget about the store, if ever you need anything in life, that I can provide, I will be more than happy to give that to you. I will never forget your kindness on that dark evening.
I came in and was greeted right away by Troy. He was super friendly and helpful. He was very knowledgeable about the furniture and answered the questions I had. I've been to Ashley before and didn't have the best experience. After working with Troy and the other staff I will definitely be back for future purchases. I can't wait for my new furniture to arrive.

First bed came and the bracket was wrong so they couldn't put it together, waited 2 weeks for another and it came damaged. Delivery guys didn't speak English so when I pointed out the damage they covered it with a black marker. There was quite a lot of blood down one side of the frame. The delivery guys lifted the mattress onto the bed to cover their awful work, when we looked after they left only two bolts were screwed in. We had to go to Lowes and get more bolts to fix everything. Don't bother ordering from Ashley!!!

Was sold a floor model bed that was broken and we didn’t know until we went to pick it up the second time. The first time they couldn’t find my order. The GM knew there were defects with the bed and nobody notified me before I spent money and came to pick it up. Will not return to Ashley furniture again. No, I was not able to see the defect before I purchased the bed.

We purchased from Ashley years ago, but have not returned since we also bought an expensive warranty wasn’t honored. My husband and I saw furniture online that I we liked so we gave it another shot. Sheri approached us as we walked through the door and was eager to direct us to find what we needed. She then left us to browse the store ourselves which we appreciated as we don’t like the pressure of someone listening to our conversations as well browse. When we were ready she made sure to give us the best price possible. She even brought a swivel chair (which is not light) to our vehicle and loaded it with my husband.

Our family of 5 went to look for sofa, not sure if could all agree on what we wanted. Sheri was so nice and after finding out what we wanted she pointed us in the right direction. I really liked that she let us look at our own pace. I get around with a walker and I was dreading being hustled by a salesperson. Sheri was knowledgeable, friendly and I felt very comfortable with her. We found our perfect sofa and Sheri pointed us to a coffee table that I just loved. We got it too! Sheri told us delivery couldn’t happen until the end of the month,knowing how bad I wanted to have my new sofa and coffee table before Thanksgiving, she went out of the way to make that happen. She gets 5 stars in our book. Other associates doesn't rank because he tried to mark the final price up.

Kyle was a great help to me! Dealt with my color indecision shenanigans, offered sensible alternatives and similar products, and was very friendly and approachable. I also appreciated that he permitted me the space to think and didn't hover while I was exploring my options! It made the atmosphere more inviting and I wasn't feeling pressured into a rushed decision, or left feeling annoyed or resentful. As a whole, the staff in general was welcoming and did not seem to be desperate, which can drive customers away! The pictures below detail what I purchased and I was very pleased with what I left with! Overall, there is a very wide selection of furniture, ranging across all kinds of styles. If you are not satisfied with what's found in-store, there's even more to be found online they can connect you with! There are also great financing options to be found here through Synchrony, which to my knowledge are unmatched by any other furniture stores in the area. They also offer a comprehensive protection plan, which is a must, especially if you have kids or pets, or move a lot (in the US).

DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS!!!! A living nightmare on elm street awaits you dealing with their in-store policies, procedures and 1 particular employee, Sky Walker with his poor customer service ( he’s the branch manager too).Back in March 2023, I wanted to treat myself to a bd gift and buy a new mattress and boxspring. I went into this store location, was greeted by a friendly gentleman named, Ed and showed a few mattresses and box springs. I made a purchase of a stern and foster mattress and boxspring. Both items with shipping and a mattress protective covering which cost an additional $100.00, totaled $2,759.51. I was told by my salesman that if I didn’t purchase the mattress protection, my warranty from Stern & Foster would be voided. I probably would not have purchased this item but had no choice. Who wants to deliberately void out their warranty? Fast forward a month later to April 11, 2023 and my Stern & Foster Queen mattress bed for $1,999.00 arrived to me via their 3rd party delivery vendor with damage to the back of the mattress upon my inspection. The delivery team made an attempt to rush me and I told them: NO, I need to inspect this mattress. I WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY DELIVERY ITEM ESPECIALLY FURNITURE WITH DAMAGE!!!. I rejected the item. The delivery team told me that perhaps I could still take the item and they would call customer service. The CSR rep told me that all they could do was exchange or give me a discount. If they give me a discount, I will VOID my mattress warranty because the item was reported damaged. At that point, I was over it, take your damaged mattress and everything elese, I want my entire refund of my order. The delivery team took the mattress back and left the boxspring and I had the protective mattress sheet. I called Ashley customer service and told them the whole ordeal and was also advised that the “IN-STORE” orders for this location needs the store approval for returns of box springs or any items purchased due to their “IN-STORE” policy. In other words, if the store does not approve the return, you are stuck with the item. Kind of take your money and run regardless if you like it or not. The Stern & Foster Box Spring alone cost me 250.00. Why would I keep a boxspring for a mattress I rejected and the delivery team left? Come get your mess from my hallway!!!! And take your protection sheet to. I was forced to buy it because I was told it would VOID the warranty. My issue was escalated to the store manager and than the account manager, Mr. Rude as can be, SKY WALKER. I originally spoke to him over the phone and via email. At first he was giving : Doing my best to give you quality customer care. After I visited the store in person and demanded my entire $2,759.51, this guy decided to call corporate to put them on the phone, hand the phone over to me so they could tell me, yeah, we are not going to refund you the entire amount for the mattress and boxspring. The protection sheet is yours and it’s non-refundable and if you would have kept the mattress and decided you wanted to return it we would tell you the same, the items are NON-REFUNDABLE. Thank goodness I inspect all deliveries to my home. This is the most downright disgusting business practice I have ever seen in my lifetime. I left the store very frustrated and told Sky, coordinate the pick up of your boxspring. Another delivery team picked the item up a week later. I only got refunded for my mattress and boxspring. I contacted my credit card company, put in a dispute over the original damage item which is what caused this situation in the first place and I fought with picture evidence and email correspondence regarding my dispute. This location released my refund in two parts only 1. For the mattress and 2. For the boxspring. I had to fight through my bank to get my entire refund 90 days later. Totaling : $2,759.51. I won my dispute. Your location is the worst, I will never purchase from Ashley furniture Harbison again.

Would give a negative star rating if I could. Beware of purchasing furniture from this store. Purchased wood furniture July of 2022. Inside dresser draws smelled like fish. Thought it was secondary to furniture sitting in warehouse and it would get better with time. Furniture otherwise functional and looks good. Causes clothes to smell like fish. Smell hasn’t improved after a year and research indicates smell is from rotten wood. Contacted store and they redirected us to warranty. Filed claim to have replaced and received notice from warranty “odors of any kind are not covered”. They then said any abnormal odors have to be reported within 14 days of delivery. This is wood furniture that came to us this way. Gave them the benefit of doubt and hoped it would get better to avoid having to contact store and go through process of replacement. This is not something we did. They sold us rotted wood furniture and should remedy the mistake. They tried to offer us $600 store credit (after multiple emails requesting replacements) towards something in the store or $150 off the original purchase of more than $3000 spent on two dressers. We never asked for, nor did we accept the store credit or the $150 off the purchase. We asked for them to right the wrong of selling rotted wood, which they refused to do. Their business practices are shady and they don’t care that they are selling rotten wood. I would recommend staying as far away from this business as possible. We have filed a complaint against them with the BBB.
Both Jacob & Lance are THE MAN (the MEN?). They did me right while I was shopping by not constantly breathing down my neck. Jacob provided some wonderfully informative information about bedding, and broke down all expenses (including financing) of my order in a way that was easily understandable. However the quality of product when it finally arrived was subpar (I could've bought better quality from a boxstore), and then the hoops I had to jump through to get furniture pieces replaced or repaired was absolutely horrid. I had an overall great experience with the company. I saw a great deal and had the consultant Lance help me, he didn’t push hard for a sale but he confidently knew i would be back. Unfortunately i didn’t come back on his scheduled day but Eddy helped me finish my purchase. Both consultants was great, good energy, not overly persuasive, great with my kids. We had a GREAT experience at Ashley Home Store in Irmo!! Lance was amazing. On our 1st visit, he introduced himself and checked on us a few times but didn't hound us, which we appreciated, and he answered all of our questions very quickly. I went back to speak with him again about a specific couch set, and he helped get me a great price and was very on top of everything!
I purchased a bed frame and dresser, and my friend purchased a couch. I used my credit card, and my friend paid cash. When the delivery truck showed up, only the bed frame and dresser were on the truck. We had been told all items would be on the truck even though the couch's delivery dates kept changing. The couch was not on the truck. So my friend wanted a refund so he could get one somewhere else. Instead of refunding him with a check, they said they don't do refunds. So he had no couch and no refund. Sky lied to him, Ed mislead myself and my friend first and foremost. Very bad experience! And now not only is my friend out $2300 and no couch, but the dresser that I got now has drawers that don't even stay shut after less than 30 days so now I can't even send it back if I wanted to...

Had a bedroom set picked out. Was given a price by Eddie and we accepted. The price changed twice because Eddie didn’t include an item in the quote that he said he did (my wife had to catch this oversight) and the other time because he included the incorrect item. They were unwilling to work with us on price and the manager was rude and dismissive; Never introduced himself, never apologized for their mistakes. Never even got his name. Eddie told us multiple times that he always gets different answers based on what manager he asks. The manager just ran around with his little radio barking orders at everyone. I know they had more room to work on price because the online prices were less than what we were asking them to get to. I want to make clear that although he made a couple mistakes, Eddie was pleasant and attentive, and was clearly held back by the incompetent manager. Glad we walked - I’m pretty sure we dodged a bullet on this one.

Helping my 74 year old grandma purchase her a dinning table so we decided to visit your Harbison location, only to get there and not be greeted for about 15 minutes. Once we were greeted we voiced our concerns to Ms. Sheri, whom was very polite and helpful. The item we purchase was on clearance and we were able to pick it up once we picked our truck up. Fast forward 6 hours later we came back to pick up our furniture and still wasn’t greeted and was told that Lance would be with us in a minute. After he finished with his customer he walked in the back. We waited and waited. Finally we ask one of the sales associate(Dawayne)for help again, he apologized and helped us the best way he knew. We was not satisfied with Lance customer service at all. When customers walk into your establishment they should greet them within a timely manner.

My family recently relocated to South Carolina (within the last 48 hours.) Our couch was no longer usable as it was. So, naturally we began the search. We decided on a couch that fit within our budget ($500.00.) It's not a large amount of money but we thought we would still be welcome as customers. Upon arrival there were several employees standing by seemingly idle. We were greeted by a sales associate. We will use the initials D.M. She seemed friendly at first. We knew what we wanted when we came in. Should have been fairly easy. She did show us two other couches after we looked at the first. But as soon as we mentioned our budget her attitude and friendliness disappeared. After that we felt as if we were either unwelcome or a nuisance. The associate would quickly walk away whilst speaking causing me to have to chase after her. Not once did she say something transitional like "hey, come with me." Or "would you mind stepping over here. We began to write up the order. She was kind of unfocused and had to ask me my name multiple times. She asked for my email. I gave it to her. Tried multiple times to spell it out verbally and then finally said I would write it down for her. She VERY STERNLY said "NO." I was pretty taken aback once again as I felt like a kid being scolded. Finally, we had the manager process our payment. I actually had to go seek him out because as before the associate had walked away without warning. He was fairly civil. He never made eye contact with me or introduced himself. So that was slightly off-putting. Sad thing is he was the kindest person there. I am HEAVILY tattooed so, I'm used to some discriminatory treatment. I just was hurt and offended with our associates attitude towards paying customers.

I was recently looking for 2 new pieces of furniture for my house. Decided to take a trip back to Ashley Furniture, as Ms. Deb and the staff have always been helpful. I was greeted immediately as I walked into the store by Ms. Deb. I let her know I was looking for a reading chair and a cabinet of some sort. She showed me multiple options and we finally landed on one. She went over pricing and protection plans with me and helped me check out. The chair was back ordered for about 45 days, but she let me know she would keep checking on it for it to be delivered ASAP. And what do you know, it was delivered today, 3 weeks early! I’m very pleased with my purchase and so is my pup! We appreciate Ms. Deb and she will continue to be my go to for my furniture needs!

The furniture is very nice, but there were problems with delivery. I purchased the bed and chair on a Sunday. While shopping, I was told delivery would be the following Wed. At checkout, delivery was changed to the following Wed (a week later). On Monday, delivery was changed to Thursday. Even on the delivery date, the delivery time kept changing. This was not a pleasant delivery experience

I will NEVER shop at Ashley furniture store ANYMORE. This issue isn't the store, it is the customer service line. I received my bed December 2021 and they never put the bed up correctly. I called and nothing could be done. Fast forward, my bed completely breaks in November 2022. From November 2022 to February 2023, I called the customer service line regarding my parts. It took three months for the parts to come in. That isn't the kicker, the customer service representative, continued to lie and say my parts are on the way. I called today and another customer service representative stated that they were never order. I AM OVER ASHLEY BECAUSE OF THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT. At this point, I don't know who to trust. *update* I was provided a number to text, I text the number and no response. HORRIBLE SERVICE ALL AROUND.

Spoke to Sheri on the phone. She was knowledgeable and kind. She agreed to honor an online price. I worked with Deb in-store as Sheri had to leave for an emergency. She was also knowledgeable & kind. Her service was quick & easy (important for busy moms!). She assisted me with information about a sleeper sofa including how to open & close. She was knowledgeable about delivery services & protection plans without being too pushy. Overall, so far my phone and in-store experience was great! I'm looking forward to the delivery of our sleeper sofa next week!

Complete rip off. Don’t honor their word. Purchased new furniture that was delivered damaged. Called the store to have replaced or repaired and they gave me a repair date for over a month away. Called the store again since this was totally unacceptable. Was lied to by Sky that he would get me a new piece by the time of my event since one was in the warehouse. It never came. So I decided to wait on my appointment. It was today between 12-3. The instructions stated they would call 30mins before arrival. He arrived at 11:43 but never called. I was in the back yard. I called at 2:38 to see what happened they told me I missed the appointment and would have to wait over a month for another one. I called the store and guess who answered yep Sky and he proceeds to say oh you have to call customer service for that. Don’t buy from here. This was my first time. I’m usually a Havertys or Whitash girl but went here for an inexpensive piece. You get what you pay for. Along with the horrible service.

Beware of cancelation fee if you change your mind. Furniture not delivered yet nor was it special order. Salesperson Alice never informed us in store and we signed paperwork where fee was hidden in the details. She actually commented to refuse upon delivery if not happy! No mention of 10% fee. Store manager Sky was arrogant when we tried to work it out. Bad, bad customer service.

Deb McCafferty at the Columbia SC store (231) has been absolutely amazing every time. In the past couple years we have bought several things and each time she has gone out of her way to help us. Once we had a bed that broke and she immediately did all that she could to get us a new one. Another time I could not make it in the store to purchase and she took time to send me prices and pictures, etc. We love thr furniture from Ashley so much but the customer service is even better.
Autumn was so helpful and patient as we had our two rowdy kids in tow! She helped us find a sectional to meet our needs and a new mattress, walking us through the options and features to find what was right for us. Thanks, Autumn!!
All I have to say is AMAZING!!! I’m absolutely in love with our new living room..everything from the couch to the side tables!! However the best part was my experience with Ms. Alice. My fiancé and I walked in “just looking” and with a few vague measurements. Ms. Alice asked all the right questions and gave us just the right about of guidance without being pushy!! We found our PERFECT living room couch and tables that day. After they arrived, which she also made sure was done in a timely manner, she let us know about a dining room table that was on deep discount! Lance greeted us, was friendly, courteous, pleasant. He directed us to where we wanted to browse as we just wanted to look. He said he'd check on us shortly, brought us water. He continued to check on us, offer information, asked us pertinent questions. He was relatable. We took a long time and he continually assured us to take our time, he wasn't going anywhere . I ultimately purchased a recliner and a sofa. I was extremely pleased with his service and would go back to Ashley and Lance anytime I need furniture.

Do not shop at Ashley furniture .. I purchased $13,000 worth of furniture from this store and received four broken dressers and a broken power reclining love seat. Their delivery crew hit every wall in my brand new home and even the ceiling with the furniture. After two attempts of trying to fix the love seat they are refusing to give me a refund. The store manager says that he can't do anything and says the contract says no refunds. How's that possible? the furniture has been broken since day one and is only 3 months old. The store manager is a joke and has no business working in customer service. I will never purchase another piece of furniture from Ashley furniture and I encourage you to stay far away from this place. I wish I could give them zero Stars.

I Despise shopping! Clothes, shoes, online, you name it! So you can imagine how I felt when I needed furniture to finish my sons nursery! However, thank goodness for Chad! The first set I pick was too big to fit inside and Chad told me it wasn’t going to fit but I didn’t listen lol!! In the process of Chad helping me find one that fits (and me actually listening this time) some personal challenges came up. My little sister transitioned and my so came early!!! Chad checked on us and assured me that when we got settled he would be there to assist with the exchange! 4mths later we closed the deal(Like it was a house)!!! Lol thanks Chad! See you soon!

My first and last visit with this store. I walked in looking for some living room pieces. When asking a sales person, perched against the arm of a sofa, if he could assist me, he stated "I have got a customer". Mind you, no customer was within 5 feet of his circumferential distance or my view. He asked another associate with annoyance, if I could be helped but there was great reluctance by the other associate. I saw one couple in there who was being helped by another salesperson...none of which were the two individuals being addressed. I asked for the manager and of course, a sales associate immediately popped out of the woodworks stating he was willing to assist me. Most likely due to me requesting to see a manager. Of course, when explaining my experience with the associates to this manager, he loudly stated that "we have been busy today". When are you ever too busy to drum up more business? Yes you provided a salesperson to help me but why did I have to go through those lengths for help? To this branch store, I recommend, you not be too quick to judge a book by its cover. Because of your lackadaisical, dismissive behavior, you missed out on a very good sell. I promptly went to a more expensive furniture store who appreciated my patronage and had better customer service. Quality is not only based on the product but the service provided for the product. BUSINESS 101 LESSON: Kindness goes a long, long way.
Extremely rude staff. Was called a “princess” for disliking a couch. We won’t be giving him (Jeff) any business.
Purchased bedroom furniture in 2017. Within a year, the drawer pulls started breaking off. In 2019 we contacted the store and they sent us 4 replacement ones. Since the original purchase we have lost 11 out of 23 drawer pulls. Now they say our account has expired and they can't help. Drawer pulls should not just pop off-obviously they are defective!! Now, we're left to pay for the replacements, which are not cheap-and neither was the furniture!!

A couple weeks later, a credit card showed up in the mail. She blatantly lied to my face, knowing I had plans to apply for a different credit card in the upcoming weeks.

Run! Do not bother wasting your time and money. They lied about items in stocks my son slept on the floor for weeks because they kept saying it was coming. Lost wages waiting for a delivery they said was coming and never showed up. Then when it was delivered and it was scratched and was being covered with scotch tape. The delivery guys threw away the hardware for the bed. No one calls you back when you try and speak to them. I was warned not to buy here and I took a gamble..shame on me..house winseveryone. I wi be holdingmy breathfor someoneto call me back.

Bought couches from Ashley. Salesman, Lance was great. He went above and beyond to not only help purchasing our couches, but also making sure that they were delivered on the day we needed them. Delivery guys not so great! When taking the big couch off the truck, they just dropped it on the floor. My husband told them to be careful... and all the guy kept saying was, "if you don't want them, we'll take them back". No idiot, just do your job and deliver my couches without damaging them!! Isn't that what you're getting paid to do??!!

After a terrible post purchase experience I am changing my rating to one star. If I could, I would give them zero stars. Apparently, the excellent service stops once they get your money because I had numerous problems with the delivery. I do not recommend Ashley and I will never make another purchase from them!

Ashley has officially become my first choice furniture store. BTW, initially stopped to “look”, as we drove home from breakfast, but “bought” chair/ottoman set and chaise lounge and it’s being delivered soon. #WinWinWin

This has been by far the worst experience we have ever had both in store, delivery and customer service of the manager. My husband and I went in to purchase a new couch. We had to track someone down in the store to get assistance to place an order. The individual placed the order for our couch and matching ottoman. He was struggling to get the correct couch ordered and was finally able to get the right one after walking back and forth a few times. Our delivery window of the couch was continuously pushed back. Our original window was that morning. They kept calling multiple times to say it was going to be further delayed and pushed back the window until the final call when they stated they had no idea when they would be there and they did not want to continue with the rest of the loads. When I tracked down the truck, they were 5 minutes away. The truck did not show up until after 9 PM when the original window was early that morning. The only thing we received was the couch. Unfortunately, it took almost 6 months just to get the ottoman delivered and when it arrived, it was not our correct one at all and looked nothing like our furniture. I contacted both customer service and the store and all they could say was a new one could take up to 6 months and didn't know when we could expect it. The store manager in Harbison, Jacob McMillan, is horrible. He does not communicate about any updates, has no idea what he is doing and does not respond to emails when sent. He has the worst customer service and professionalism. We were told that once the exchange was completed, they would be contacting me in regards to compensation and no one has contacted me to date and the manager has ignored every email I have sent. I would not recommend them to anyone and will not be purchasing anything from them ever again. I will happily take my business elsewhere.
Kyle was great. He was helpful but not pushy. Answered all of our questions and was so friendly. We haven't purchased furniture in 20 plus years. Kyle helped to make it nonstressful for us.

Alice Barnes was awesome. We shopped at 6 different furniture stores in the Columbia area and found nothing we liked. We saw several things we liked at Ashley and one set (which we bought) that we really loved. Ashley definitely had the best selection of furniture that does not look all alike. Alice was amazing. She was very knowledgeable, helpful and on our side.
The sales person Lance was awesome. He was very helpful y polite.Tgey delivery process is a headache and aggravating. Only has certain day that they will delivery in your area.Give a time frame when they will be there but showed up hour early so no one way there to expect delivery.
The furniture is made of pressed sawdust and when it falls apart you can not just buy the replacement part. Worst $1700 I've ever thrown away! Never again!
I have bought furniture at this store in the past and have always had a good experience here (except for Covid delays 🙄) but never overly impressed with my sales people until now. Lance C. knocked my socks off. I don’t think I have ever met anyone more passionate about furniture. He was kind & did not get annoyed with my questions even though I told him I was not buying today. I wanted to do some research & he was ok with that. I will definitely be back and will only work with Lance!!!

We have bought Ashley’s in the past(10 yrs). It has always been a great experience. This time around it was exceptionally pleasant. The store itself had a clean and organized display of furniture. It was easy to understand the set up of store. We were helped by Cline and he was exceptional with his customer service and knowledgeable with merchandise, availability and pricing. Our Sofas were delivered in great condition and with excellent care.

I visited this store location on harbison a few times in the last couple of years. Occasionally they will have one or two people who actually want to sell furniture. I picked up a snobby vibe last year , but yesterday was the absolute worst!! No one said a word to us the whole time we were in the store. VERY RUDE!! I will be going back to Sandhills to make my purchase! They have a bigger and better set up than Sandhills location, so I gave one star. But, Who pays people for doing absolutely nothing!!! ???? I saw people who look like the need to get up and move around just sitting on their rear end!! It’s just ridiculous!! Do something!!

What a truly amazing experience! I usually hate furniture shopping! It’s too expensive and there is too many options usually not the always able to find exactly what you want this was not the case with this Ashley store! First off Lance was our guy who helped us and he was superb!!!! He was always there when we had questions but let us walk around and take our time. He was seriously the best. Mr. Ed and the in house financing lady were personable and very helpful! I was able to get my chair and pay for it in 30 mins!!! I told Ed what I wanted and he secured the deal. It will be here NEXT WEEK! I don’t know what miracles Ed made but my sofa will not takes weeks, nor months! Harbison is great store with friendly service!

The salesman, Lance was great. I didn’t feel pressured into making a purchase and he was very helpful throughout our whole furniture buying process. With the delays we had in the delivery of our couch, any other customer would’ve been mad, but Lance was on top of updating us on the progress and delivery date just about every week until we had final confirmation. I purchased my girls bed and dresser here back in October. The draws are now cracked at the bottom and the first two want even open . They told me since I moved that the warranty was void . Which I didn’t even know horrible customer service . I want ever purchase anything else from here . They didn’t even care too help me at all .

I honestly had no intention of buying anything on my visit. Lance was patient and listened to what I wanted and how much I wanted to pay. He was diligent on finding me the perfect set with features that far surpassed my expectations. Would've been good if I could've gotten a birthday discount. But I'm grateful for Lance not treating me like just a customer.

Sales people were very helpful. Just wish they sold off the floor like some other places do. Had a chair I would have taken right then. Credit was ez to set up. Free delivery to my porch. Inside & assemble would be extra. My delivery is scheduled for down the road a few weeks. Hopefully all will go well then

Edit: I'm changing my review to 2 stars because I'm still waiting for backordered pieces from this order to come in. I knew there would be a wait, but it's been 5 months for a coffee table and end tables and the communication from Ashley has been nonexistent and even when I call I can't get any answers. I'd cancel the order but it would throw off my whole living room since I've already gotten the couches. The stars I left in the review were because of the rep that helped us initially being so great

Sales rep was helpful when you had your money out, but the second you said no, he was an arrogant, sarcastic bully who made it seem like such an inconvenience you didn't want to buy something anymore. He made fun of me when I said there were red flags and blew it off like I was crazy. He also pushed the blame onto others and asked you to explain as a customer why you didn't like the process. It's not my responsibility to tell you how to do your job. Figure it out. The only reason there's 2 stars is the manager who cancelled my order was incredibly polite.

I expected more from Ashely but I am very disappointed. They deliver the 1st part in November the second part they said dec17 the driver never showed I rescheduled three times I didn’t get my middle piece until 13 days after the initial schedule they kept saying sorry and they would compensate me even down to the day the the second part came the delivery driver called to tell me he was at the wrong stop and I am now last when I go get the couch it’s a color difference because of the time difference I called Ashely and told them they gave me 30 dollars for my troubles did u mentioned that one time they didn’t show up no call no show I had to call them and they had no answer from the driver all I will say is Ashely wow 30 dollars you gave me a credit for all that inconvenience then the couch looks crazy I expected more next time I’ll go down to rooms to go I am not a happy customer and 30 dollars did not make it right

I went to the Ashley Store on Harbison Blvd. in Columbia/Irmo SC with my daughter looking for bedroom furniture. We were warmly greeted our first time there by Alice. We chatted a bit and she told us where we would find different styles. We walked around the whole store oooing and aaahing at all the furniture. I found a set I liked but my daughter didn’t find one. At the end Alice asked how we made out and we told her we liked a few but wanted to keep looking. She gave us her card and said if we decided to come back, she’d be happy to help us. Overall nice experience the first time and the second time. My daughter found a bedroom set she liked at another furniture store, but we did go back to Ashley for myself and my son the next day. We were again warmly greeted this time by Jillian. We told her that Alice had helped us previously, but Alice wasn’t in that day. We decided to look anyway. I went back to the set I liked and decided what the heck, I’ll get that one. My son also found a set he liked. So Jillian helped us out and helped us decide on what we wanted. We needed mattresses also and she was a great help with that. She explained the differences of each mattress to us. I was looking for a firm sleep number type Mattress. Jillian was able to help me find what I needed after listening to me tell of my health issues. She was amazing and knew just what I needed!! My son tried a few of the same mattresses I tried and found what he wanted. Both of us were happy with our decisions. Jillian walked me through the whole process of purchasing our furniture. We ended up having to come back to upgrade the size of my mattress and add additional pieces to both sets. This time Alice was there to help as Jillian was on her break. Alice remembered us and knew of Jillian taking our order. So Alice helped us this day and at the end of changing the order Jillian had come back from break and the two of them proceeded to help us complete our order. They were great. Both were very kind and knowledgeable and happy to help us. I’d go back there again if we need any additional items. All the Sales People there were kind and helpful to the customers I saw walk in each day I was there. I highly recommend!!

Wow 😮 buyer beware. Paid all the money for delivery and assembly. All they did was drop off and gone. All The pieces also not with the drop off. No telling when those will come. Stay away.
This Store right here is the only place I Shop for my furniture, they have great pictures to match whatever room you like to decorate from family rooms to bedrooms you'll love and enjoy what they have to offer for a longtime to come. Good quality Furniture at reasonable prices and great customer service.

READ THIS BEFORE YOU DO ANY BUSINESS ASHLEYS!!! PLEASE DON’T BUY FURNITURE FROM ASHLEYS!! I don’t usually write reviews but this place has to but the worst company I’ve ever done business with. They sold me a broken bed in 2019, I told them the bed was broken so they sent people out to fix it 3 times could be fixed and they discontinued the bed, so they tell me to come to the store and pick out a new one I get there none of the beds was the same price I paid for mine. They told I would have to pay a extra $300, I paid it in February 2021. I waited to August 2021 still haven’t received my bed. Ive went up numerous times to see what was the issue they said they had to make the bed and it was over seas. I go back in October 2021 they tell me my bed came in weeks ago sorry they didn’t contact me. At that point I didn’t even want the bed anymore because they quality and professionalism absolutely sucks. By this time two years has pasted and I moved to another house so they come pick my bed up from my new location but sent the check to my old house it’s November 11th 2021 I still haven’t received my check. I am begging anyone that reads this PLEASE find another company to buy furniture from because I promise you, you’re not going to be happy and you will not get your furniture until next year.. I know it may look good in the show room but trust me the quality is NOT good!! If I could give them a negative 5 stars I would.

This past weekend I began shopping for a new couch. The mere thought stressed me out simply because there are so many stores, so many options, and too many choices. With that said, I had to shop for a new bed about four years ago. I went into one place where I was followed at what appeared to be a measured distance of 20 feet, no more, no less, from the moment I walked in the door. Despite repeated reminders that I was just window shopping, the closing distance remained 20 feet. So I left. So scared to death I would have a similar experience in any furniture store, I reluctantly walked in to Ashley furniture on Harbison Blvd. Im not sure what the rules are for sales people, but I breathed a little easier when I walked in and wasn't accosted. I actually got to enjoy a trip around the showroom. I circled one couch a time or two which is when Debbie came over, Introduced herself, and politely offered her assistance should I need it. Relieved there was no pressure, I actually took her up in it. There was no sales pitch or any pressure, she simply professionally answered a few questions I had, helped me figure out some options available on what I was interested in, and shared her professional thoughts on room design. That was the point I realized I had gotten lucky and simply did not want to ruin the pleasant experience I just had so, I just bought the couch. This was the first and last place I shopped and I went home excited about what I had bought rather than wishing I had looked anywhere else. I have no doubt, ill go back and when I do, ill ask for deb.

If we ever needed an answer we had his direct line and he always answered quickly, never a time did we have to wait on a response. We got two entire bedroom sets, one for my wife and I and one for our babygirl. Our sets looks great, great quality, great colors. We also purchased a sofa, loveseat, chair and ottoman. The colors go great with the rug we picked out and they are very comfortable. Whenever a time arises again that we need furniture we will definitely be going back to Ashley. Also trying to convince the wife to go back and get some their wall art as well there were a few I can’t get my mind off of. Definitely check these guys out and ask for Chad he will take care of you.
If you go ask for Edward, he gives great service. A white salesman walk straight pass me an went to a white couple, I guess I didn't look the part for him. I ended up not purchasing anything because I was paying cash and Edward manager wouldn't come down on the price. I guess they rather have someone owe them. Oh well their loss.

Very disappointed with Ashley store! It’s been almost 16 weeks that I bought furniture with them and they still have no ideia when I’m gonna receive my pieces 😠 first I’ve been told from 4-12 weeks and then they change without any communication to 16 weeks and today I called them again and they don’t know when I’m gonna have my stuff ! You should stop selling then if you can not provide what said to your clients
Two stars for the sales team. The delivery service that Ashley uses is an absolute nightmare. On delivery day, the driver (Lazaro) arrived (10 minutes before the delivery window) and departed within 5 minutes of getting here. I came to the front door after putting my dog up and the truck was gone! No one knocked or rang the doorbell (I double checked my ring footage to make sure I didn’t miss the knock). The delivery guy didn’t call me. The driver, who was scheduled between 1:30 and 4:00, was on his way to the next stop BEFORE 1:30!! I called dispatch (it turns out the number listed to contact the driver is just the dispatch company) and she told me they would contact the driver and try to send him back after his next delivery...but that they couldn’t promise anything because the next delivery was his last one scheduled for the day. I never got a call back. I made my husband call back an hour later and he’s been out on hold multiple times and no one has told us if they were able to contact the driver. They eventually told us to call back tomorrow after 2:00 to reschedule. Ashley Furniture contracts with the worst delivery service I’ve ever experienced. I purchased my dining table from Rooms To Go and the delivery was excellent. Unlike Palmira Express/Ashley, the Rooms To Go driver actually came to my door.
I went it to purchase a king size mattress. I had the best customer service from the door . My customer service sales person Marcus R. Was Very knowledgeable on the type of mattress I was looking for and direct directed me to the different models. He was very friendly kind and did not make my shopping experience overwhelming. I will definitely go back and ask for him specifically his manager when needed was also very kind in assisting us during the final transaction of the sale. I was supposed to get a bedroom set delivered between 9 AM and noon. It is now 415 and they still haven’t showed up. To make matters worse I called twice and the delivery truck said that they were at my house knocking on my and calling and I didn’t answer when I was definitely home waiting and watching for them. So unreliable delivery people. Poor service. And lures. Never again will I use Ashley furniture if they do not hire a reliable delivery service.
We had a great salesman Ed. Very nice displays of furniture. I feel the prices are fair especially during labor day holiday. Clean, friendly and we'll organized. Sales people don't swarm you, I like that. I would give five stars but this is only a showroom and doesn't have a warehouse. Won't save money for those who buy and can transport themselves. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM ASHLEY HOMESTORE! I purchased a table for my new house in August of 20. I also purchased their "extended warranty" and was told that it would cover any issues with the table beyond the standard manufacturer warranty. In barely a year the table top began to crack in two places and I contacted the store and was told I would need to go through the 3rd party company "Diamond Care Services" as I was barely out of warranty. I contacted the company that directed me to a website to fill out the claim. A few weeks past and I received a response to my claim denying my warranty request stating "as it was in two places its clearly normal wear." WHAT!? You're telling me Ashley's products only last a year? I contacted the store to see if I could get help from them and was told there was nothing they could do and if "Diamond care services" denied me then that was it. I asked if they could contact them on my behalf to see if we can get this resolved especially since this is the exact type of thing I was told they would cover and I was told basically that they wouldn't and that they could do nothing further for me. DONT BUT FROM THEM! Their products don't even make it a year! And if you do, DONT BUT THEIR EXTENDED WARRANTY! Its like the car warranty scam! A complete waste of money!!!

We just moved long distance to Columbia SC and brought no furniture. All of ours was old, worn out and outdated. Being seniors, our finances would need to come into consideration and didnt look forward to buying new after doing some internet research. We chose to start cautiously at Ashley because of the reputation and selection.. Upon arriving to "just look" we were greeted by a friendly manager, Sheri Williamson who assured us right away she would not hover over us but would be available when and if we were ready or had questions. Also informed us about deals she could explain to save us money. Then she promptly left us alone to browse.We already had an idea in mind for our cost ceiling and rooms to shop for 1st but did not discuss it with her then. So we shopped and decided on either of 2 bedroom sets. I waved her over and we discussed. Surprisingly the cost she offered, without our input at all was within our budget. She was very nice, accommodating and helped us with NO pressure. I feel that if every store did things like her more people wouldnt hesitate to furniture shop a big brand name store. Our daughter actually returned to purchase a dining room set and she was just as pleasant and extremely helpful. We are pleased to comment also on the awesome prompt courteous delivery!

The sales member was fantastic. He knew his inventory like it was written on the back of his hand. They had a large inventory to look at. We did end up with a adjustable bed for my husband and myself. And then went back and chose a sofa bed, then went back once more and chose two chairs to go into the front living room. The only problems we incurred were: It took a long time for them to deliver the sofa bed. It was damaged 💔 😢. They have to make another delivery to replace it, (exchange it) and it came a lot darker than the one we saw in the showroom. They explained it was the lighting difference. Hope their right.

We placed an order with Deb back in June. While placing the order over the phone I was not impressed with the process. She was way to casual(half communication was text) and would talk over me throughout the conversation. We eventually got the order placed. Today I called to check the status of the order only to find out the order wasn't even placed or on its way(placed June 13). Its beyond me how this would happen. I'm waiting on furniture to show up and it hasn't even been ordered. Cancelled the order and will not ever do business with them as a result of this experience.

Been waiting over three months for delivery. They keep using the pandemic as an excuse but I've ordered furniture online at Wayfair, Oveestock, etc and they have no problem getting it to you within a week or two. If you want to cancel they will charge you a restocking fee. For stuff they don't stock. Ashley is just not customer oriented or cognizant that if you buy something they are obligated to deliver it. Where else can you go to make a purchase and then not take possession of said purchase. No where. Just Ashley. I'd steer clear of them. Just awful.

Bought furniture from them 3 years ago. Was told I *had* to purchase the "Ashley Assurance" warranty, and that it wasn't optional. So, I filed a claim on the warranty for our dining table back in December. There was a ring from a drink being set on it. A technician FINALLY came out in March, and I was just told the claim is denied. The warranty should cover this, but it's a scam. It's just a way for Ashley Furniture to collect more money. They never have intentions of paying out a claim. I'm about to buy more furniture, and was actually considering Ashley. I'm glad I learned this lesson before I waste more money purchasing from them.
Chain furniture store with a wide selection of products for the home.
We ordered furniture on February 26th. We have called and called, the delivery date has been pushed back all the way to the end of may, as well as having the wrong delivery address. Kicker, you can not cancel the order unless it is not delivered within 90 days or you pay $400-$600 in restocking fees. The original delivery day was 4-6 weeks, we are now at 60 days with 30 to go. What they don’t tell you is when you call because they have the information wrong, when they update it, your delivery date moves to the back of the line. I will never buy from them again nor will I recommend them to anyone. Matter of fact, I will make sure everyone I know furniture shopping does not purchase from this company ever!

I will never buy another piece of furniture from Ashley Furniture again. Their customer service is TERRIBLE! We order furniture back in September and were told they had delays because of Covid but that our delivery date was scheduled for mid October (roughly 6 weeks out). When the furniture arrived in mid October we only received part of our order. We ordered an entire living room set - couch, loveseat, recliner, coffee and end tables, entertainment center and a fireplace insert. We received everything except our couch and loveseat. I was never made aware prior to the delivery that we wouldn't be receiving all of our furniture. I found out when the delivery truck arrived. So our family of 4 in a new home had 1 chair to sit in. It was an additional 2 weeks before the rest of the furniture arrived. When the recliner arrived it was already broken so I called for a repair. The guy came out and said he would have the part ordered and that it would arrive at our house within 10 business days. After the 10 business days I called and was told their was no tracking number yet and it was blamed on Covid. By the end of December my husband was told it would be March before the part came in. So in March I called to check on the part and was again told their was no tracking information but the lady suggested having a repair tech come out and look at the chair again to possibly get a replacement since it had gotten worse. The guy comes out and agrees it needs to be replaced. He said he would put the order in. Roughly 2 weeks go by and we heard nothing. I called and it happened to be after customer service hours and I actually got someone on the phone from the store we purchased from. After initially being told I would have to call back to customer service the next day I asked to speak to the manager on duty. He was a very nice guy who explained that the part had NEVER been ordered and that's why we hadn't recital it and that there wasn't an order even in for a replacement chair. He was going to get the store manager involved but promised me a new chair. I got confirmation of a delivery for today 04.08.21. When the delivery guys arrived they tried to replace only the bottom portion of the chair because according the the delivery guy who is NOT a repair tech and admittedly a third party company used my Ashley, that he didn't see anything wrong with the back. Well the back was broken and we were promised a new chair. When I asked if he didn't have the top he replied yes but it's just easier to replace the bottom. After 6 months and being promised a new chair I'm not setting for just the bottom when I know the top is broken and they had the rest of the chair but just didn't feel like getting it out of the truck. This has been absolutely ridiculous and I will never buy from them again!

My grandmother purchased a mirror from here. The sales person told her that there was not any more online when my grandmother asked her if the mirror was on sale. My grandmother lives an hour away, so when she returned to her city, she went to the same furniture store (Ashley) to speak with someone concerning that same mirror. The mirror was online and it was cheaper than what she paid for it. The sales person lied and was only concern about making a sale. Customer service sucks!!!
I order two dressers from here both of which were missing pieces so I could not put them together. When I contacted them they sent the correct pieces for one dresser. I called back three more times and never got the pieces for the second dresser so its useless. The drawers on the dresser that was completed fall apart with only a little bit of clothes in them. Would not recommend

I ordered a complete bedroom set which included a full bed set, dresser and 2 night stands. I was told that the furniture was “guaranteed” to be delivered on February 3rd. It was delivered a week late but with covid going on I can look past that. When it finally was delivered and I opened the boxes I found that one of the night stands was heavily damaged and the headboard that was delivered had 2 left posts. Out of the 4 pieces of furniture that was delivered only 2 are useable. I called customer service and waited on hold for over an hour just to be told it would take around 14 days for this to get resolved and no compensation. I’ll also have to take off time from work AGAIN so that a representative can inspect the damaged night stand so it can be replaced. I’m very disappointed with this company and their customer service. I will not be shopping with them again. I will not recommend this store to anyone and if I hear that anybody is looking to shop at Ashley Homestore, I will do everything I can to dissuade them from even considering.
I ordered a sectional couch in October I was told the wait time would be 8 to 10 weeks. It took me multiple times to get in touch with someone to get a date of when my furniture would be delivered. Once I spoke with the manager after nine weeks of calling I finally was told my furniture will be delivered in March. Which is two months later than my original date. I ended up switching to a different sectional so I could get it sooner. I still had to wait an extra month. When I got my furniture delivered I was missing a coffee table and the wedge to my sectional. So I have to wait an additional two weeks to get the wedge. I would not consider purchasing from this company again they are terrible. I chose the store because I thought they were the best for furniture. Boy was I wrong. Then to top it off my sales associate put in an order for two coffee tables with one end table. Please tell me who on earth needs two coffee tables. The customer service with this company is terrible. They are not honest with their dates. I would not recommend them.

We purchased a mattress for my mother in law before Christmas and I cannot tell you how helpful, kind and accommodating Edward was during the entire process. He was over the top helpful. He texted us and kept us informed about shipping and when there was a shipping issue that was not his fault he immediately helped remedy the problem. Edward is an incredible ambassador for this store and makes me want to be a loyal customer.
We bought multiple furniture items here and have loved all of them. We visited lots of furniture stores in the area and in our opinion Ashley has the best selection at the best prices. We worked with multiple sales people and they were all very friendly, low pressure, and priced very aggressively to earn our business.
Misleading and disappointed staff interactions. Went in to purchase a new mattress, after spending a while discussing options landed on a cheap economical mattress as a temporary choice. Just finishing college and not having a job yet it seemed like the best idea. I asked about the bed in the box 12" Chime and once the staff decided we probably werent going to spend a ton of monies it seemed that the service level went down. They then said they had it in stock but it turns out they didn't. after a while another staff member walked over and told us that they had the 10" in stock an that he had multiple customers say that they couldn't tell the difference. This is the clear lie, after getting home and pulling the new mattress out of the box, it was clearly different. After further research they are completely different mattresses. The comfort levels went from ultra plush to medium.. Deja the original staff member assisting us was respectful the entire process but didn't really take the time to explain the documents but just pushed through telling me where to initial. I understand the pages I signed stated that the sale was final and I should of taken the time to read them. We called the customer service line for Ashely's and filed a claim explaining how we felt that we were mislead. It was swiftly denied. It was a $240 lesson, I will not be returning nor recommending this location to anyone I know, don't trust staff recommendations or knowledge because it is now clear this company/location has little concern for customer satisfaction.

Ordered my furniture back in early September and have yet to get my living room furniture. The real issue is that my delivery “updates” are not updates at all. They call and say that there are no updates on the delivery, but to rest assure they have a team working on it daily. When I call them I am told that the team working with the manufacturer isn’t allowed to talk to me and that the Store Manager cannot help me. They will have someone call me, but it will take 4-5 days for them to return my call. When I pay for something in full, I at least expect and update letting me know what the issue is and an approximate date on when I can expect it. I understand that COVID has delayed things and I have been very understanding to this point. I just want a real update. Are they behind making them? Is it shipping? Is it a material shortage? I guess even if you pay for it in full you are not entitled to get that information. Terrible experience to this point and I would never recommend working with them. One star given because there isn’t an option for no stars.

I’m writing in regards to the bedroom furniture I purchased back on August 7th. It was scheduled for delivery on August 15th, but we had to cancel that delivery date, due to us possibly purchasing a house, at that time. We rescheduled this delivery, around the 1st week of September, and the new date we were given was October 17th. I called a couple of days ago, to verify this delivery date, and was told that my bed, bunky board, and mirror to the dresser would be delivered on October 17th, and the rest of it would be delivered November 14. This is most unacceptable. I called the home office, to place a complaint, and was told that AFTER I receive ALL my furniture, I could make a complaint, and POSSIBLY receive compensation, due to the wait. THIS IS RIDICULOUS! We have bought a bedroom suite and a kitchen dinette and buffet. These were separate purchases years apart. The quality is inconsistent. The bed side rails were garbage and fell apart. We ended up attaching a metal frame to the head and footboards. The dresser and chest have held up well. The dinette and buffet seem to be good quality and sturdy. Now for the real problem with Ashley Furniture... Delivery, setup, and post sales support. The delivery people in both of our purchases were totally incompetent, and struggled to assemble the items. I literally had to show them how to assemble the bed. The crew that brought our kitchen table were no better. Our chairs were wobbly, we found that they didn't use all the appropriate hardware. The table was missing bolts, and the top pulls off the base. The chairs are missing screws in the cross braces, so they fall out and leave the chairs unsafe to sit in. We've contacted Customer service NUMEROUS times, and we're always told... Someone will call you back to set up a service call. No one EVER calls back, and we verified our contact information with them. You will be lured to Ashley by the selection and prices, but take it from me. AVOID THIS PLACE!! IT IS NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE!!!
Please please please! Save yourself alot of b.s and go somewhere else. Had to take a delivery day 10 days out. Ok. Then they call that day .... sorry, we can't find your house. You need to reschedule. So I did...a whole 10 days later. Then they called said it was currently out of stock. I said...but it was on a truck 10 days ago. I asked for a manager. Of ciurse none available but I would be put on call list. 3 days later still no call, tho they did say they could deliver now in two weeks. Omg! When I asked for a manager they asked me.....what woukd be the reason. I said...are you serious? This whole situation. So ..here I sit, no furniture, no call. But they took my money from my account the same day I was in their store. How come I can't give 0 stars!!!

If you’re thinking of purchasing here- Go somewhere else!!!! As a business, it seems they devote their time into “selling” the furniture. But, once you swipe your card and pay- that’s it! No one genuinely cares about the delivery of your furniture or your pleasure with the process. “CustomerCare” is used to people being upset and there is no sincerity in their responses. I don’t see how people even want to work here after seeing how poorly they operate. The communication as a business between the store you purchase from, the “manufacturer”, and delivery team is terrible. I completely regret my purchase.
Purchased the Salceda Outdoor Furniture sectional set last summer 2018. Last year the table began to separate. Contacted customer service and was sent a "furniture pack" to repair myself. This year the furniture is literally coming apart. Contacted Customer Service and was told, there is nothing they can do. I paid in total over $2,400 for this set.
I bought a couch from them and it broke. I tried to get them to fix it, and it took them 6 months to come to fix it. During that 6 months, it continued to break further every time someone sat on it. When they finally got here, they said it was too broken, and they wouldn't fix it, saying it was "misused by customers." The warranty program is a scam, as is this company. Do not use them.

The sales staff and selection at this Ashley Furniture Homestore are both great. However, the delivery and assembly leaves MUCH to be desired. The dining room table and six chairs that we ordered arrived on time but four of the chairs were assembled incorrectly by the delivery staff, the seats are at odd angles and the wood began to chip as a function of this assembly. The remaining two chairs were left in the box "because there was no hardware." However, when I opened the box to assemble these chairs myself, the hardware was right inside! Clearly they simply didn't want to assemble the remaining chairs for me. I assembled these chairs myself without power tools and had no issues assembling them correctly without chipping the wood and keeping the seats at the correct angles. I'm not sure why they are unable to correctly assemble the furniture that they sell, but I will not be purchasing more furniture from them any time soon and instead taking my business somewhere where I'll be able to make sure the furniture I received is not damaged during the assembly process. I have taken photos of the chairs assembled incorrectly and will be adding them to this review soon as well as contacting the store directly.

Big selection...huge showroom. Sales associate was friendly, courteous and very helpful. Plenty of choices and some good deals too. We actually found what we liked rather quickly and our salesman took care of everything on his tablet and even got us a good discount. We were done in a matter of minutes and on our way out with smiles on our faces. Showroom and bathroom were very well kept. Good job folk's!

If i could give 0 stars I would! Cheap cheap cheap furniture. Ordered a kitchen table from them in March 2 of the chair legs broke in less than 2 weeks. The wood had rotted . Called to get them to send a tech out they said they would have to send the parts. They just sent the parts to me like last week. I have been trying to reach someone in the customer service department to for the past week and still no answer as to when someone can come fix my furniture! I knew I should've stuck with rooms to go.
I would leave 0 stars if it were an option. Please do not believe the scheduled delivery date For your purchase. My wife and I went to Ashley specifically looking for a relatively soon delivery date. I asked the sales man Jermey how long it takes for delivery, he told me it depends of the item and to find an item and he would let me know the date. We found a love seat and Jeremy gave us a delivery date of 6 days out. We thought it was too good to be true, and it was. I made the purchase and asked one more time if he was sure the delivery was coming on the specified date, once again he assured us and told us it would be here. 2 days later I got a call from Ashley Furniture informing me it would be a week after my scheduled date before it would come. I called customer care they didn’t seem to care and placed the blame onJeremy for telling me it would definitely come. They don’t seem to care to fix it. I guess they don’t need my business after all. I will not be back

Great selection. This place also has good financing options and a warranty program that is actually worth the cost. The staff here is super friendly, helpful, and no pressure. It was a pleasure to do business with Jeremy and Matthew. They have gained a loyal repeat customer and I will definitely reccomend them to my friends and family. I HATE furniture shopping but I actually enjoyed my time in the store.

I’ll never do business with them again. I feel sorry for the people who work there and believe what they tell is actually going to happen. Bad business and no customer service. Waited a month to have a couch delivered only to be called the day before and told it would be another month. If I canceled they would charge 10%. Nice how they can change terms but not let you out of an order without fees.
Sales was fine. That is not my issue. My issue is with the delivery. I place my order end of April and my order has been pushed back twice!!!! I feel like customer care was not sincere with their apologies at all. I really hope this will be the last time my delivery date is pushed back. If not.. i will write another review.

If I could give a Zero I would 😡. My husband and I spent over 4500 with this company and their delivery men knocked my door bell off and didn't say a word! We called the company and they said they couldn't replace it because I signed off saying the furniture was delivered okay! I'm 6 months pregnant with twins on bed rest I didn't think I would had to walk around my whole property that they walked on and inspect where they walked🤔 I'm so upset with this company..I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN.
The lady that helped me was great! The issues are with the store and the furniture. The store doesn’t provide information on the materials used in its furniture. I purchased two oversized leather recliners. The information I was wanting to know about was the type of leather and how deep the coloring/ dye went into the leather. No answer provided by company. The lady did go check. To be honest, I question if this material is truly leather. Next was the quality of the furniture. I’ve had the furniture less than a year. The following issues have occurred: the color has come off the leather which is VERY noticeable, the stitching has broken, screw(s) are missing, a board is hanging down, the thread used in the decorative stitching is “fuzzy”. This is quality??? I think not!!! Oh, BUYER BEWARE! Don’t waste your money buying a protection plan!! I just called to report the issues. They cover NOTHING!!!!!!! I will NEVER purchase anything from Ashley Furniture Store! And, did read this review to a store employee that expressed NO CONCERN!
All I can say is don’t buy the insurance. They don’t cover anything, they talk it up in the stores but here we are a year later and having issues and of course nothing is covered. I wouldn’t spend my money here again.
I purchased a dinning table on 3/28/2020 paid for all this added protection and signed up with the Acceptance Now lease program. I ordered the table due to having to work from home now because of the Pandemic. I received the dining set on April 10, 2020. However upon delivery the delivery guys inform me that the warehouse did not send the screws for the chairs. So they can not assemble the chairs. They then called their supervisor while I called Ashley headquarters. Their supervisor Jose asked to speak to me and apologized for the mishap and stated he ordered the screws for the chairs and I would recieve a call when the screws will be delivered. I received the screws around the 20th of April. I then called Ashley back to now schedule the return visit for assembling of the chairs the delivery guys came out to my home the last week in April and informed me that I only was delivered screws for one chair and that the screws for the other 3 chairs were not sent out. He then called his supervisor and requested the ordering of the remaining 3 chairs. The supervisor then requested to speak to me and apologized and stated it would be about another 2 weeks before I got the remaining screws. All the while I was on the line with Ashley headquarters trying to order the screws myself and to also complain.. 🧐 The delivery guys assembled one chair and left.. Now I'm ready to call law enforcement because this is a crime! Its now been more then 2 weeks and I still have not received the screws for the other 3 chairs. I now call Ashley on 5/14/2020 to follow up with the screws. I was then informed by a customer Rep that the screws are on back order and I should receive them the 1st week in June!!!! Now here's where all my patients go out the window, door however you want to phrase it. I'm applaud, flabbergasted, down right dissatisfied with the service of Ashley Furniture Homestore. I'm making monthly payments on a dinning set that is not fully assembled. What bothers me is that according to the Ashley Furniture Homestore policy I can not request a refund until the entire dinning set is assembled. I'm totally confused how and why would that be a policy if you've screwed up from the beginning 🤔?... Why wouldn't you try to salvage the relationship with the customer before it leads to this embarrassing review. Ashley Furniture Homestore needs to be held accountable and I need to be compensated Big Time!!!!! I would like for the CEO to please read this review and inform your employees how disappointed you are with their service; this is not good business. I'm definitely dissatisfied and disappointed 😞 which is the reason for the one star 🌟. Oh and the fact that I only like the table, because the chairs look nothing like what the online pictures show. The chairs cushions look rich in color but in reality their dull and old looking. I will never purchase another product from a showroom sales person showing me an online item again. If its not in the showroom for review I'm not interested... Also consumers please stay on top of the warehouse, manufacture, sales department as well as the delvery department everybody when you purchase anything from Ashley Furniture Homestore.. This is absolutely Unacceptable and Insane!!!!!!
Do not buy any mattresses from here they are the worst ever. I only had mine for 2 months and it6 sinking in the middle... please keep your money in your pocket

Will not order from them again!!!! Ordered an outdoor patio set. The day they were scheduled to deliver, they called twice to push back the delivery time then ended up not showing at all that day. What a waste of my day waiting for them ALL day. They rescheduled for two weeks later. That went fine but they forgot to leave two pillows. I have called them at least 5 times in four months and they keep saying they will get on it or it’s on it’s way but have yet to get them! I am so frustrated and wish I would have never ordered patio set from them!!!!

I was looking for a couch that was kid friendly and Alice Barns was awesome helping me. She was very friendly and helpful. I wished more people in the world were more like Alice.
Just got a new couch today and Miss. Alice helped us out. She is amazing. She was able to answer all of our questions. We wanted to think on it for a day and she was so sweet. Most sales people are quite rude when you want to think, she was not, totally understanding! We went back and asked for her and she even remembered us and a toy my child was playing with the day before. When it comes time to buy any other furniture we will be going back to Ashely's and asking for Alice!
Be VERY careful buying accessories (or anything really) from these guys. Bought a mattress and was encouraged to buy a "temperature adjusting" mattress cover to go with it since I have trouble overheating at night. Spent $299 for it, slept on it one night, and wife hated it. Went to ask to return it and the manager was very quick to say "Well, now it's used. Your paperwork clearly says no returns." Incidentally, this mattress cover retails for $80. Lesson learned.
Horrible experience. Price in the store is higher than online- took some negotiating to get them to honor their online sale price. We did end up ordering a sectional sofa the last week of December 2019, and were given a delivery date of 1/28/20- 5 weeks to wait for our new furniture. Then they pushed it back to 2/5, then they pushed it back to 2/26. So now, over 2 months after we bought and PAID IN FULL for our couch, I called today to cancel our order. I have to wait 7-10 business days for my refund, then I will be shopping anywhere else for the sectional that I wanted last year. Please run, don't walk, away from Ashley. Customers deserve better than this.

HOw disapointing. We were supposed to have our bed delivered into our senior apartment before 2pm today. But the delivery didn't happen. We had made purchases from Value City with no problems with delivery. We have a building concieg ethat facilitates delivery. However, when we called to get an explaination we were told we would have to call back tomorrow (it is 4:30). If we cancel the order there will be a cancelation fee. Sounds like taking advantage of the aged, doesn't it??
I had issues at another furniture store and wasn't sure if Ashley could help. But Jeremy B. in Sales and Kelley L. in Accounting are wonderful to work with, and totally saved the day! I'd highly recommend their excellent customer service and will be back again for more pieces. They are professional, courteous, friendly and willing to go the extra mile to make their customers happy. The furniture is beautiful, elegant and timeless at Ashley's and I am very satisfied. Well done!
Super impressed with Deja Montgomery! She listened to my concerns, and I walked out with an entire furniture set for my bedroom! She told us she was doing very well in sales this month, and it shows! I would recommend everyone to come and see Deja so she can get you the piece or set of your dreams!
Do not shop here! We got a couch and it came broken the delivery men were unfriendly and tried to hide it. Once we went to move the couch to its place we realized the frame was broken and called them. Ashley home customer service was rude about the situation and told us to use our warranty. Our salesman has been wonderful through the whole situation and got us a new one sent to our house. A month later received the replacement couch and it came broken. After having two couches delivered broken we told them to keep it and refund our money they told us we were not getting our money back and to use the warranty. Our wonderful salesman’s finally got us our refund. Go else where and send a little bit more money on something decent don’t waste your time or money at this place.

My salesman was Chad Truett, He was very friendly & able to answer all of my questions, & schedule my delivery around my needs! I’m planning to refurnish my den & bedroom in the near future & will definitely shop here, & request the same salesman!

PLEASE BE CAREFUL. This store is full of deceptive business practices. If you get the store credit card, you cannot use the credit card online or at any other store location (but they don't tell you that). Prices that you see online, are not the prices that are available in the store and usually marked up 25% (but they don't tell you that). Sale prices that you see online, are not the same sale prices that are in the store (but they don't tell you that). And when you do get the store credit card, they automatically enroll you in a "credit protection scheme" that operates through a third party. I only noticed this when I scrutinized my bill and realized I was paying almost as much as my interest rate for a protection plan I knew nothing about. We all have options, chose yours carefully.
My biggest complaint is its difficult to walk around and browse the store without the constant onslaught of annoying sales people following you around, and trying to put the hard sell on you. Please back off!!! Every time I walk through the door they are their like sharks circling the water waiting to attack their pray. I have avoided stopping there on a couple of occasions because I just wasn't in the mood to deal with this. I think the furniture is decent but definitely way overpriced. Maybe if they put the sales people on salary it would cut some of the cost and the annoyance.
Horrible expirience, and customer service is a joke. Multiple items missing or on back order reschuled DELIEVERY date for a week later and now trying to push it back even farther.. this ordered was placed almost 2 months ago. Only care about getting your money once they have that no care for the customer. Go elsewhere it'll save you the headache.
Absolutely terrible, and it took 20 minutes for a sales associate. And by no means was the store busy. 3 walked right by us without ever saying a word and the forth was more interested in what was on his phone. I will never shop there again. It's a bit annoying that you get swarmed as soon as you walk into the door by a salesman. I totally understand that they have a job to do but it's a bit of a turn off. Otherwise, the furniture seems nice and I'd purchase something from there.
When Augusta didn't have the mattress I wanted in stock I called this store and they were more than helpful.I drove all the way to Columbia to get it. And I say every single night how much I love my mattress
If I could give this store 0 stars I would. Of course everything goes great when your being sold the item it’s when you need your actually items delivered where they always drop the ball. Being 8 months pregnant wanted some new pieces in our new home before baby arrived was told the 27th of the month for delivery when everyone is smiling and taking your money but once you sign the papers and walk out the door EVERYTHING CHANGES!!!! Delivery went from the Dec. 27th to sometime next year in 2020 no exact date could be given due to some sleezy store policy. Everyone promised me a call back but when you don’t receive the call back there is no direct number to the store you reach their “ghetto” customer care hotline that will hang up on you and argue with you because they have to go through 10 minutes of prompts before they can transfer you to the store that you actually made the purchase at. I will never ever purchase anything in my life from any Ashley’s Furniture store regardless if it’s free. I made a purchase from rooms to go and everything went according to the plan we discussed in store.... still waiting on phone calls back from Ashley’s and my furniture.... being 8 months I actually broke down in tears over this mess and guess still no one has called me back about the furniture I’ve already been charged for.... 0 stars for everyone involved in this I only remember a few names Ashely, Gloria and the horrible reps from the customer care dept should all be let go.

We were led to believe the $1000 mattress we bought would be returnable, but it was not. In fact, by their responses it was very clear the staff was familiar with the complaint and had prepared answers.

I ordered the Charmond King size BR suite with 2 NS, and Dining room table w/6 chairs online, but the local store delivered the BR suite and when carrying the dresser upstairs in my new house the dented my wall. The delivery guy said filed a claim in which I did, had to keep calling since it's has been almost 2+ weeks after the delivery and haven't heard from any one...final get ahold of someone and sent in pics of the damage and they left a message to call them back to settle the claim only to hear donde I signed the delivery ticket waived my rights for a claim. Stay away from Ashley Furniture
AVOID ASHLEY HOME STORE AND ONLINE AT ALL COST. I had ordered furniture and was delivered damaged. It took me two months to return the furniture and get my refund but a partial refund with the delivery fee of $130 non refundable. I ended up returning it and still being charged for delivery fee. I would have given a 0 star if they had given me an option for it. This place is a disgrace and no respect what so ever.
I would avoid Ashely furniture if you expect to receive what you ordered in a timely fashion. Waited a week for delivery of a reclining sofa and a reclining love seat. The delivery drivers were great when they showed up. They got the love seat in with ease. The sofa I was expecting was a glider recliner. Apparently it was “tagged wrong”. So no sofa. I had to call back 24 hours later to reschedule delivery of the correct item. I was told it would be another week before I could get it. So two weeks wait to get the item I paid for. They never offered any kind of compensation for their mistake and did nothing but make excuses. Find another furniture store that will back their service.
Our salesman Chris was spectacular, provided us with various options and was extremely helpful. Pricing was better than expected. Overall wonderful experience
I purchased my furniture from The Ashley furniture store. the customer service was amazing and we had a fantastic employee Daja who was really willing to help. We got our delivery date for 10-30-19 and everything was fine. Then we were told that the delivery address was wrong on the form which we advised Daja was incorrect and she promised it would be changed. it was not. then got told we might have to pay a re-service fee. but ended up not. Then Delivery day on 10-30-19. firstly, the two gentlemen entering my home looked raged and dirty. They start bringing in items. Lets just count how many times they dinged my walls. Wait... it is endless. we are still finding more hours later. then they set up the bed frames upstairs... and drag the box down my steps which then is dragged on my stairs walls which causes more marks. The one male put together the bed frame with a headboard, foot board, and rail attached. then I walk upstairs and notice that he put the box spring on top and was thankful for that. thought it was odd he didn't put the mattress on though. They left and i signed off because i thought things looked great... even after dinging up every wall i own. After putting felt pads on my chair legs, i noticed the kitchen table legs are NOTICEABLY crooked. the holes were not pre-drilled, so they literally assembled my table and made the legs crooked. lets work our way up to the bedroom where the frame was put together. figured out why the male put the box spring on top... one of the support beams was a little wiggly. that is because the screw wasn't tight... oh no, that is cause the actual frame has a damaged thread and wont screw in. so instead of telling anyone about it, lets cover it up and hope no one notices. Guarantee, will never being doing business with Ashley ever again.
Avoid this place at all costs. First, they would only honor 1/2 of a coupon I was sent by Ashley for purchase of a mattress. I received free shipping and take away but did not receive the $200.00 gift card for purchase of a Sterns & Foster mattress. Secondly, the store told me explicitly the mattress would be delivered on 10/2/19. However, a couple of days after the purchase they said they couldn't ship it until 10/12/19. The customer service reps could not have cared less... nothing was done or given. Third, they have a policy to try the mattress for 90 days but there is a costly catch, to get that you must purchase one of their insanely overpriced priced mattress protectors. You can get one just as good on Amazon for a quarter of the price. Lastly, they finally called today with the time frame on Saturday which was terrible for me and again customer service did nothing except want to move the delivery date another 4 days or more away. At the very least they could switch the time. I should have gone with another store, I should still cancel this order. At least never again will I shop there and I hope you don't either. Customer service & rip off policies like these should sink a place.
Positive: People at the store are super nice. The salespeople are also super helpful. I like the furniture I bought. Con: Delivery is a nightmare. I will never buy furniture from them again just because of delivery. I had to wait 3 weeks to get it delivered. When Delivery day came I was called at 8:30 am. Delivery said it would be 30 minutes.. long story short and a lot of waiting at the house all day and drama they arrived at 7:40 pm that night saying I was lucky the came. The truck backed into my driveway breaking a tree limb. The delivery guys damaged the furniture getting it in the house and used magic markers to try to fix it and burn strings in seams they damaged. Warning: They contract Independent delivery people. The sales people have no idea who will come to your house. It is just 2 guys in a rented truck.
I will NEVER purchase anything from this store again. I bought a sectional and was told it was going to be delivered on the 19th. Got the call yesterday the 16th saying it was pushed back until the 24th. I took the day off (19th) for this delivery. I called them and asked them on the 24th to work with my schedule and have it delivered that day since I was not going to loose another days pay and was told no they won't accommodate my schedule. So I said ok I have to cancel my order. Then I was told I had to pay a 10% restocking fee since I didn't cancel my order within 3 days of purchase. Well.... you didn't tell me 3 days of my purchase that you were pushing my delivery date out 5 more days. My paperwork says delivery on the 19thnot the 24th. ABSOLUTELY unacceptable as a customer you should work with me since you changed the date NOT ME..I would of had to pay $79.00 fee if I changed the date. Furniture is a want not a need. I will take my business elsewhere...

The staff was super friendly and answered all of our questions promptly; they also let us roam about without hovering too much or treating us as if we were wasting their time.
When we bought our couches, we purchased the 5 year warranty that was offered to us. We were told it covered cleanings and damage like tears. Well, when we contacted the company we were told to about cleanings we were told the warranty does NOT cover tears, and only covers spot cleanings. If I had known that, I would have passed up on the warranty and spot cleaned myself. We were lead to believe we would be having our couches cleaned (3 kids and a dog) thought it was a great idea only to find out the opposite. I am regretting paying over $800 , and they will NOT be getting my business in the future
Great customer service and sales people.. But dont ever expect whatever you get from here to be delivered on time.. They can say it'll be delivered tomorrow in the store and whatever you get wont get there for about 2 weeks.. Delivery should be free if you guys are going to lie about the delivery date, just saying!
Similar furniture to rooms to go, but..the art work, pillows, and vases ect. Are on point. I love all the decor in Ashley. And the way they have it set up makes me want to buy all of the things. Sales people are nice too and not all up in your way.

Major delivery issues! Had to come out 4 times, damaged product. Product delivered in boxes, and we were told they won’t assemble. Part of our order was canceled. Delivery techs tell us it happens all the time. Customer service not much better. I would recommend taking your furniture needs somewhere else. Compensation offered was a joke, did not accept it. In store experience was good, but if they can’t get undamaged product to your home it’s not worth it.

Sales lady was nice but that's about it. We ordered a love seat and a sofa. Upon delivery they decided to tell me that the sofa was not on the truck... the only thing they had was the love seat. I should have been aware of this before delievery date. Not only did the sofa not come the love seat had a tear on the back. Well we had to then schedule another delievery date for our sofa to come and they said they would exchange the love seat for another one. Well now it's the second delievery date and the new love seat was in worse condition then the first one. So now we have to schedule ANOTHER date for someone to come fix it. I am so aggravated with Ashley furniture and very disappointed in the quality. Never will shop here again.

It took 4 weeks to get a table and chairs. The chairs also arrived hard as rock and after I attempted to return them I was told “Ashley’s doesn’t do returns” Ashley furniture is a scam, the store is all a front, the items you will actually receive is nothing like what’s in the store. The prices are ridiculous the people are rude, I will never use this company again!

STOP ! I ordered from Ashley's on 04/19/19 , expected delivery date 05/08/19. 2 bases and a mattress . Delivery guys show up with 1 California King base and 1 extra long twin base. Had them take it all back for it was WRONG. So now they tell me it will not be delivered until 05/22/19. Well today is the day I been waiting for , and what do they show up with ? They showed up with 2 bases , but No mattress. These people need to shut the doors . I just got back from Havertys , best thing I could have done. My bases and mattress will arrive Thursday. Also my friendly salesman at HAVERTYS said we could pick it up this Saturday if we wanted to, Ashley's does not offer you to pick up from their store. BUYER BEWARE !!!! 1. Prices was a lot cheaper 2. Delivery Date is a lot faster 3. People are nicer , and not liars
I originally had an enjoyable experience with Chad, who helped me pick out my furniture. However, their idea of “service recovery” on a delivery issue is ridiculous. The guys who delivered my bed didn’t have the right size rails so they had to take them back. Customer care said they would call me the next day. They never did. So I called them as they said they would “try” to get my rails delivered on Saturday since I had another delivery then, but that they would call me back to confirm. They never did. Again, I had to call them and explain the entire situation again to a guy who wasn’t sympathetic in the slightest way, who then told me he had to email someone who would call me. They still haven’t. I still have gotten no confirmation that these rails, along with the rest of my furniture, will be delivered on Saturday and it is now Thursday. I am currently sleeping on a brand new temper mattress on my kitchen floor all because my bed is missing three pieces of wood, and customer care seems not to care, given that is their job. I spent $7000 on this company for them to leave me sleeping on the floor with no reassurance that I am being taken care of. You need to train your team more on delivering customer service and following through.
The absolute worst! I will never shop here again once my furniture is delivered. My delivery date was changed without me agreeing to it and I was told if I cancel my order, I would be charged 10% of the purchase price. They can inconvenience me and turn around and charge me. They have no direct customer service number- you can talk to someone at the store. Which is no help whatsoever because I was told, once I pay for the furniture, it’s out of their hands. What kind of bs is that??? Save yourself some trouble, go somewhere else and spend a little more for better service. I wish I did.
!!! Buyer beware !!! Edit: they called with ANOTHER DELAY. I ordered a simple bed set from the Harbison location on March 26th with a promised delivery date of April 9th. Wonderful. I receive a call just a couple of days prior to the promised delivery telling me the bed can’t be delivered until April 19th! Nearly another 2 weeks with barely an apology. I call back on the 15th to see if there is any chance it will be here a few days before or not, no luck. This time the man on the phone made excuse after excuse as to why it could be delayed two weeks, but offered no actual reason. I was then told they “sometimes” issue compensation for late deliveries but I’d have to call customer care after the delivery to see. After speaking to several people and a friend who previously worked at this location, I learned this is the norm for them. The employees are told to lie about deliveries they know won’t make it on time in order to make the sale. “Yep. They figure most people won’t return something they’ve been waiting on already so they tell us make the sale regardless.” I will never ever ever shop at Ashley again and I’ll be sure to inform all of my clients (people who are buying homes and constantly ask for furniture recommendations) to avoid them as well. Caveat emptor.
I've never been so dissatisfied with the customer service that I have received in my life more than the customer service that I have received from the Ashley Homestore. I have been lied to on multiple occasions by Ashley Homestore representatives in the store and at the customer care center and now over this past weekend I have found out that one of the sales reps at the Harbsion Blvd store in Columbia, SC is actually is mentioning me personally by name to other customers in a derogatory manner over the issues I'm having with returning a mattress that I bought from them. I don't appreciate being lied to and i really don't appreciate being talked about by a Ashley Homestore sales rep (one of the store managers) to other customers. This place is great. You can come in and see a huge variety of furniture, figure out what's comfortable, and then google the product number and find the exact same piece of furniture online (real Ashley Furniture brand) for 33% off. Pick out what you want in person then buy it for way cheaper from somewhere else!
Got amazing expert service from Crystal. She was efficient, knowlegable, and helped us get the best possible deal. Highly recommend!
Columbia SC, Both Living room pieces delivered DAMAGED, I was not allowed to REFUSE the pieces,,Rather the dispatcher said I had to accept them and let them try to REPAIR..Brand new furniture!! 3 Weeks later,,nothing,,I got a bag of upholstery in the mail, of the wrong color and that's it.....NEVER EVER VISIT or buy from this source!!! 1800.00 and I have two damaged pieces!!!

We have two children under 5, and furniture shopping can be an adventure to say the least. I never felt we were judged for being boisterous, and Gloria was helpful without being overbearing. While we haven't purchased yet, we would definitely return on the basis of service. The selection was nice, and the current sales were appealing.

I bought a bed from Ashley on Harbison blvd in Columbia, SC. Upon delivery, the footboard and both side rales are damaged(this is 3/4 pieces delivered). Before the delivery person left, I spoke with customer service to remedy the situation. They were to mail the pieces to my house and ashley would come put them together. They mailed 1 piece. After another convo with customer service, they are going to make it right. I have a date of delivery. This date comes and goes with no corresponds with ashley. Finally ashley calls me. My pieces are on back order. We set up a date for delivery. It is going to be fixed. They guys just left. Well the footboard is damaged so it cannot be used. They are able to change out the side rales. So i end up with 12hrs of my life wasted waiting on ashley, and a gouged up footboard. What is the fix? 30$ OFF MY 3500$ BILL. THX ASHLEY! We will not be venturing back into your store again.
If I could give them 0 stars I would. We bought a dual recliner on December 7th. When it was delivered, it had a tear in the upholstery and there was a piece missing in the framework. They said they would send someone to fix it. About 3 weeks later he arrived but told us they had sent the wrong part and the missing part didn't exist anymore because this was an old model. WHAT?! I bought a NEW chair. We asked for it to be replaced. They scheduled delivery for Feb 1 but then said they couldn't do it that day so finally delivered on Feb 8th. 2 months after we purchased we finally have our furniture. Customer service is awful. We called them several times and were on hold for almost an hour each time. During one call, they actually HUNG UP on us.
