First off the furniture is beautiful and of good quality. Secondly our sales person was too busy to really sit down and answer our questions, so I thought we were kind of rushed in to making our purchase on purpose. Be very careful of this. We purchased a credit card of the limit that our furniture cost but instead of them just adding the purchase to the credit card they financed the furniture first then added their finance price to the credit card. Then on top of that I have a 2 to 6 weeks waiting period. I’m really thinking about canceling the purchase and going to find me something else.

After purchasing my furniture, which was a king size bed and a dining room table, it took them about three weeks for it to be delivered to my residence. I had to sleep & sit on the floor.

We’re new to South Carolina and we went to all the local furniture stores to furnish our new 4000 sq ft custom home. Pauline at Ashley’s was the only sale person that showed us southern hospitality. She was busy with customers when we came in but she still acknowledged our presence. When she was final able to help us, she apologized for the wait and went above and beyond to make sure I got what I wanted. It’s been almost 8 month since I purchased my collections with her help and I went online today to purchase some more things and I gave her the credit for it, she was that good. I had a wonderful salesperson by the name of Pauline. She made sure that I understood all of the intricacies when it comes to purchasing a new mattress and bed. Normally I would’ve settled on something cheap, but her knowledge led me to purchase a more expensive model and all I can say is my back is genuinely thankful for her expertise! I suggest anyone looking to make a purchase here to seek out this star!

I did my research when going to Ashley furniture. I knew exactly what I wanted and called to see if any of the three items we in store to try out. I talked to a guy named Christopher Bentley. And I'm glad I did. He took the information I had and said he would call me right back. And he did. But not only that he had information about the furniture, how long it would take to get it in and prices. I went in that same day to order. Chris had my order ready, talked over everything with me and had me out in about 40 min. I told his manager this was the first time I'd walked out of a store after spending 1800 bucks while smiling. It's nice to get great help. Go see Christopher Bentley if you want to see what great help looks like.

I felt very good vibes when I went to Ashley furniture. Until I had to exchange a mattress and base from a king to queen. The king was not delivered yet so the exchange was not the problem. The issue was, no one would produce a breakdown of the items I purchased. I went to the store twice, still no invoice. I was given a total for a package deal.The sales lady was very helpful when i was purchasing she even gave me her # if i had any issues . After the sale was made i was ghosted. She stopped responded to my text . The staff at the desk was unfriendly with little to no customers service what so ever. I was told SYNCHRONY Bank would provide it Well I received a bill total over more than what I purchased. I reached out to customer care and was told to put ib a dispute form. I purchased a living room from knights furniture what an awesome experience. I'm new to Florence, Ashley furniture was recommended because of there affordable prices. I will never deal with this furniture store again!!!

Besides having to wait two weeks more than what I was it was going to take to be delivered, paid to have it put together and now missing three parts for the bed and an extra part that was left in the drawer that don’t know where it goes… of course partly my fault for not checking enough and everything before they left, but never coming back again.

Deana is very missed. I can't wait until she returns. The store is not vibing. You don't feel welcome and when you ask questions you get half answers. She's truly a breath of fresh air when you walk through the doors. Her voice and laugh can be heard from the back of the store to the front. Most of all she's keeps it real about the product. DEANA COME BACK SOON, Ashley need you girl. I wanted to spend more money, but I'll wait on Deana's return.

My husband and I went into the Florence store to look for a sectional couch for our new house. Pauline was very helpful and answered all our questions. We were told we would have free delivery of our sectional and 3 tables but when furniture came in we were told we would have to pay an additional charge for delivery!!! After already spending almost 5000 on furniture then we had to pay an additional 200 for delivery. I love the furniture but will not be shopping there again.

Truly a good experience from dealing with the sales team to the tracking of our order that was texted in me in every turn or any changes. Then the delivery team showed up early as they called and asked if they could....the attitude these two guys had was absolutely perfect. They moved our old stuff out an brought in the new couches an put them together perfectly....kudos guys.

Ashley furniture came highly recommended and I must agree, the customer service and the showroom is awesome. Peyton Michael’s was our sales rep on April 6, 2024. We financed through a company where we had to pay within 100 days before finance charges would apply. Needless to say we have paid off our furniture and here it is May 14, 2024 and we still have not received our it(We were initially told it would take 2-3 wks). My husband has spoken to Peyton a couple of times and was told they would deliver the furniture free of charge. We’re highly disappointed because during all of this we had to initiate the call to find out what was going on. No one had the common courtesy to reach out to us first to update or keep us updated during this process. We will not be doing business with this furniture store anymore.

She helped us search online to find what we needed also. It took close to 3 hours for us to find something perfect for us! If the other worker wouldn't have been nasty and disrespectful I would have given this experience a full 5stars.

Fantastic, Amazing and Awesome come to mind first thing. We had a delivery yesterday and it started off with a Bang. The guys were professional, friendly and even put up with my own confusion. They were clean and worked quickly but not to fast. In this heat it their appearance was amazing. They knew what they were doing and did a great job setting up. Unfortunately We had made a mistake in measuring or living room oops. That’s when I met my lifesaver Tanqueray! Yep I spelled it correctly. She was and is amazing, quick to jump in and fix Our mistake. Even though she got off in a hour. She contacted the correct departments, has played middle person with them and even called me First thing this morning. Letting me know she’s still working on things. When we were trying to decide if the dining room set would fit in our space, he got out his measuring tape and even took the leaf out to measure with and without. We didn't even have to ask him to. Purchased a sectional couch in July of 22. With in 6 months it started to fall apart called customer service and all they did was replace my cushions. Now the back of the couch and the armrests are starting to shed the material. I suggested that they buy it back and I would try and purchase something more durable but they said that they don’t do that. So I spent $3500 on a sectional and within less than a year it’s falling apart.

Beware of buying the extended warranty plan with your purchase from Ashley Furniture. The use this company or did when we purchased out items back in 2022 and based on the reviews this company never honors a single claim. They will find a excuses for anything you send them. I have a stitching issue with my loveseat and called Ashley furniture only to be told to call the warranty company in which I did. I filed a claim and 14 days later I get a email that the issue with my product isn't covered. I recommend staying clear of anything from this location. They will sell you a high priced extended warranty that is 100% useless. Just looked up furniture care protection and check out the reviews if you want proof.

This review has nothing do with furniture. Recently I had a need for a large box. Started at Lowe's and they were rude. Several other stops to no avail. On the way home stopped at Ashley furniture. Not only did they have a large box that I needed they were friendly, nice and helpful. Even though I wasn't spending money, they still tried to help me. Even helped load the large box in my SUV. Rest assured the next time I need a piece of furniture, it'll be bought at Ashley's. Their staff is to be commended!!

*UPDATE EDIT* - Matt and Destiny were great helping us pick out the couch and set everything up with what we wanted. However, it took almost 3 months longer to receive the couch than we were initially told. There was a serious lack of communication on Ashley’s end, with promises of call-backs that wouldn’t happen and a promise of a credit back to our account that we never saw. I’m sure it’s corporate Ashley that’s ultimately the problem, but communication and an honest timeline from the store is something that could have helped alleviate some problems.

Paid in full...took 5 1/2 months to get furniture - this was unacceptable...that makes it a 1 star experience. However, the staff was very helpful when I followed up with them (just make sure YOU stay on them), they most likely won't follow up with you. In any case, despite ME having to reach out to them on multiple occasions, i would give the staff a 5 star rating....hence, my overall 3 star rating. I would shop here again, but with cautious optimism.

LaShay in customer support was amazing. I had issues with a store in another state and had been trying to resolve it for months. I spoke with LaShay and she asked to give her a bit to see what she could do for me. She called me 30 minutes later and the three month old problem was solved. Got a great deal and was very informative of all the requirements and was able to get my bed delivered before our actual move in day 🥰 we were just looking for a king bed BUT, we got the bed, 2 dressers and an ottoman that wasn’t over our budget! We bought a living room set and dining room table. The living room set was the show model and was delivered within a week. The estimated delivery time for the dining room table was 7-14 weeks. At the end of the 14 weeks, we called to check on it and it was extended another week. It was continually pushed out until we were told that it would not be delivered until April. We requested a refund and corporate sent our funds back within the next week. Ashley's funiture could not help the shipping timeframe, however the store associates contacted us prior to us receiving our refund for the dining room table and were completely clueless as to what we should be receiving a refund for. This made us feel incrediblely uneasy. That is the only reason this review is not receiving 5 stars.

This store tells you one thing and does another.... my husband and I was told that our furniture would be assembled the day of delivery and when delivery was made they dropped the furniture off in my living room (wrong location) and left my pieces in the boxes saying that we only paid for delivery and not set up. When I called the Ashley store and complained the representative told me the manager would get back in contact with me and of course never did... this location is a joke spend your money someplace else!

In over two months, I have not received a single call from Erica thanking me for my purchase or giving me an update on my delivery. Today, I decided to stop by Ashley's Furniture store to look around and be inspired by some much-needed home improvements. When I walked in, I had no idea that I would meet such an amazing soul as Deanna Woodbery. We started with small talk, and I quickly told her I was not there to purchase anything; I simply wanted to see their sectionals instead of being turned off by my somewhat stern exterior; she smiled and began to put forth some of the best customer services I've seen in years. Deanna was able to use plain talk (honest dialogue)to calm my nerves because, frankly, I had a fear of being told "no." She quickly shared the options available for purchasing furniture and said, give it a chance, so I completed the paperwork, and low and behold; I was approved for much more than I expected. I don't have bad credit, but no credit, which I feared no one would give me a chance, and Ashley's did with the help of a salesperson that knows how to make people feel important. Deanna gets a five-star review because she deserves it and so much more. I'm excited and looking forward to coming back someday and purchase again. I walked into Ashley Furniture in Florence, and was immediately greeted by Jamario Simmons. He was very nice and extremely helpful. I told him what I was looking for and he took me to see different products and assisted me in picking out the perfect piece of furniture. Terrible experience , definitely wouldn’t go back to purchase anything from this particular store. Placed my order in the end of February beginning of March and was patient due to covid waited almost 3 months still no furniture was told I would’ve received updated by my sales rep. never happen I had to keep calling and finally had to just cancel my order wasted my time and wasn’t professional or considerate at all! If I could I would give the 0 stars .

Checked several places today looking for furniture. The prices were sort of higher here for same things. The blond haired woman in the middle of the store literally stared at us as if we personally did something to her. She was not even wearing a mask.

Mario showed me every recliner he had available, after he asked me exactly what I was interested in. Had Erica take care of my wife and I the whole time, she did a great job, and was happy she was able to work with us on the price some. We didn’t have a super high budget and the furniture is expensive no matter where you go usually, so it was nice to find something we loved, priced matched with its online price, and got a good deal on it.

We purchased a sectional Jan 29th and was told the end of March was our expected delivery. Well I have called several times and the delivery time had been moved from the end of March to the middle of April to the beginning of May and now to the middle of May!!! Every single time I have called the rep has an attitude like you're an inconvenience to them. Always says we will call when it comes in! I'm sorry but last time I checked I just dropped a good bit of money on furniture and you don't even bother to let us know if the delivery time has changed and when I do call you have a nasty attitude. I am somewhat understanding of the date changes but customer service is horrible. That will probably be the last thing I ever buy from them because of that.

Jane was an excellent teacher and salesperson. We came in with our mind made up regard a split king adjustable mattress and frame. She took her time asking questions about sleep pattern, position we slept and pain issues, she began to educate us on mattresses She then had us try 4 different types of mattresses. Working with her was a joy. During our entire conversation you could see that customer service and satisfaction was important to her. When we left we had bought an adjustable queen mattress & frame with no pressure and feeling good about our decision. Jane is hard worker who cares about doing what is right for her customers.

Bad bad bad. This place needs a better knowledge person that can give you information on your account. Especially if they take your money. Will never shop here again. Very rude office staff not all of them the heavy set lazy White lady.

Pretty good experience here while looking for new furniture. Manged to get a nice bedroom set for a good price, though sometimes you have to haggle a bit to get some better prices. I'm not sure when buying furniture became like buying a car, but thats the world we live in. Speaking of the world we live in, apparently the virus has made furniture production grind to a halt, so you rarely get anything immediately, and we were told 8-12 weeks for delivery. Just be aware of that going in. Overall I'd say it was a good experience, our sales person was nice and helpful, so ask for Austin if you go in. Will probably buy more from there in the future.

I even can not give one star for my experience. We paid for a sectional in November. Salesperson( who is nice ) told us that we will our sectional by Jan16th ( I know it's long time ) but did not get anything. When I contacted James he said we will get our sectional by Feb 6th. I have to take day off since someone has to be there. Truck came and dropped only 4 peace instead of 7 and he said he has no ideal. Within 3 hours of fixing power sectional one recliner broke. I contacted the store and explained and have to return. In that process customer care people are very rude. At end it's my worst experience ever in my life

Had the pleasure of meeting two separate associates on different occasions who made it very easy and stress free in making my purchase. On my first visit Matt I think is his name was able to get me pre approved and help me know what price range I would be looking at. He was very nice and pleasant in assisting me. Today I worked with Terrance who assisted in my final purchase and I couldn’t be more happy. He went above and beyond to help me out! Thank you guys so much!!

The purchase was painless, however we were told we would have 2 deliveries (one within like 2 weeks since things were in stock, and one at the 8 week or so point). We only got one that was about 12 weeks out. When they setup my master bed they also did the bed slats upside down so the support on the middle bottom broke within 3 days since they just jammed it in (noticeably upside down too!). I haven’t had a chance to go back and get it fixed. Annoyed that I had to even deal with that. Straight laziness.

It seems that their customer service ends after they’ve gained a purchase from you. They have not called me to update me on my order. I had to call them. I realized that they called my roommate instead of me regarding my delivery even though my number is the primary number on the account. I was very polite, and patient with them when I called. When I asked for them to please call me instead, the woman that I spoke with had an attitude, and rushed me off the phone.

Ashley Home Store has the best atmosphere and Deanna has the best customer service. I truly love shopping there!!!! Blessings 🥰🥰

I purchased furniture on June 7 for my daughter and was told it could take up to 8wks. due to COVID-19 but could arrive sooner. I wanted it by her birthday which was on the 4th of July for her new home. We called to find out when to expect the furniture. We were told the last week of July didn’t happen. When asking about refunding my money I was told they didn’t do refunds. She was given 200 gift card for the inconvenience instead. They never update you on whats going on with your order. I guess it doesn’t matter since they’ve already been paid and the customer is the one stuck without furniture. I Was told some pieces would be available the first week of August. It August 14, and still no furniture. I called today and was told the week of Aug.19 two pieces of the furniture should be here and the other chair the 2nd week of Sept. It would be nice to update customer on the status of their order. Every time I’ve called it’s COVID but I’ve received other furniture from other retailers in a weeks time.The other 2wks from the order date all orders made the 2nd week of July. I regret paying ahead and ordering from this store. The places I order from place pending charges on your debt card until they actually ship your merchandise out. I am so full of regret with this purchase! It has really been a big inconvenience. Update 8-31-2020 my daughter still hasn’t gotten any pieces of the furniture set ordered and paid for. She was told it should be here sometime this week. It been nothing but a big run around from this store.

Omg this store is horrible. It's been 3 months and I never got my chairs. They don't care. I requested a refund and now they are lying about when my check was cut and mailed. They need to be shut down. My first and last time. Do not waste your time. I wish I could comment without giving them that 1 star.

Shopped their Memorial Day sale and had a good experience with sales staff. We were told our furniture would arrive in 3-6 weeks. It's now week 6, and each time we call to get an estimated date, it's been delayed even further. They're now telling us it'll be at least another 3 weeks before it gets here. We requested a cancellation, but all sales are final. We've since moved into our new home and have no furniture for the foreseeable future. Not the kind of experience you want to have when you've spent a small fortune to furnish your new home.

Lies and deceit! I got scammed. It’s not Ashley Furnitures fault, they are here to make money, and make money they did. Jane promised that if we had issues, it would be covered. What she didn’t tell me was that involved sending us the furniture parts in the mail and saying good luck. As for The extended warranty. When specifically asking about moving “Nationwide coverage she says”. I should have got it in writing or something, that is certainly not the case. (The cardboard in our couch buckled, no one can service it now) Do yourself a favor. Go to Big Lots, look at the maker tag. Most of it is Ashley at a fraction of the price. They’ll even deliver the same day in most cases. Stay clear of Ashley it will only end in regret.

After calling 4 times I tried to cancel order. Too late. Delivery men left a lot to be desired. Won't go back to Florence. Next time, Sumter.

The item was currently out of stock and she informed us of when we can expect delivery. Can't wait to see the new furniture at home!

Matthew Brown gave AMAZING customer service!!! I was overwhelmed and undecided on living room furniture and this was keeping my family from being able to move into our new home because we needed furniture for our living room before moving in. I took many measurements and brought them with me and with the little living room space I had to work with made picking furniture out stressful. Matthew understood this and went above and beyond to help us make sure we’d be happy with the furniture we were going to purchase so after going to him for a third time to get help figuring out what would work he said let’s just go to the house and let me see the space you have to work with. After going to the house (which blew my mind he was willing to go out of his way and do this) he then suggested a living room set that was perfect for our home. Matthew Brown is AMAZING and I would recommend EVERYONE see him. He cared and knew how important it was for us to get furniture picked out so we could move in and enjoy our new home. I went into this store about three months ago to browse around and to window shop after closing on my home. I was immediately greeted and shown some furniture based on my vision for my new home by Jane. I was then told about the credit card and the various payment options which sounded pretty good; manageable. I took some time to shop around and found that Ashley Homestore was where I needed to buy my furniture. I went back and Brianna took care of my requests and informed me of how the protection plans work. My furniture was delivered within two weeks of ordering. My experience was good; I would recommend this store to anyone in the area looking to buy nice furniture for reasonable prices with good customer service.
