How to Find Us & When to Visit
Before we get into the details about our Ashley Florence store, however, let’s make sure you know how to get here.
Ashley Florence’s street address is 2361 David H McLeod Blvd., Florence, SC 29501. Our store’s main phone number is (843) 656-0780. We are open seven days a week. Monday through Saturday, our hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. On Sunday, we are open from noon to 6 p.m.
You'll find us just off David H McLeod Blvd., behind the Arby’s and Caliber Car Wash, and next to Lowe’s.
Here’s the tricky part: There is no direct access from David H McLeod Blvd. into our parking lot. Instead, you’ll want to turn north at the David H McLeod Blvd./N Beltline Drive intersection. After you pass the Arby’s and Caliber Car Wash, turn east onto Trade Court. You’ll be able to turn directly off Trade Court into our parking lot.
If you’re coming from Lowe’s, there is a little access road that joins our two parking lots. It’s much easier to just use that than it would be to go back out to Trade Court.
How to Find the Perfect Mattress
Ashley is known for its mattresses. We currently offer three lines: Essentials, Gruve, and Align.

I felt very good vibes when I went to Ashley furniture. Until I had to exchange a mattress and base from a king to queen. The king was not delivered yet so the exchange was not the problem. The issue was, no one would produce a breakdown of the items I purchased. I went to the store twice, still no invoice. I was given a total for a package deal.The sales lady was very helpful when i was purchasing she even gave me her # if i had any issues . After the sale was made i was ghosted. She stopped responded to my text . The staff at the desk was unfriendly with little to no customers service what so ever. I was told SYNCHRONY Bank would provide it Well I received a bill total over more than what I purchased. I reached out to customer care and was told to put ib a dispute form. I purchased a living room from knights furniture what an awesome experience. I'm new to Florence, Ashley furniture was recommended because of there affordable prices. I will never deal with this furniture store again!!!

We had a great experience at Ashley’s furniture buying our couch. We were greeted when we first arrived by Mario with a brief run down. We were allowed to browse and talk things over before he checked in on us and discussed pricing of the item we were looking at purchasing. We left happy and excited for our new couch to arrive.

After waiting for the sectional to arrive, half arrived ripped and damaged. The response? Oh, we can repair it in-home. Uh, no, we are replacing ripped and damaged furniture. No new delivery date, no concern or adequate customer service, 4 days before Christmas. Well, come get the half you left at my house, and use your laissez-faire attitude on someone else. That’s what I get for settling in mundane mid-to-low level market furniture.

Besides having to wait two weeks more than what I was it was going to take to be delivered, paid to have it put together and now missing three parts for the bed and an extra part that was left in the drawer that don’t know where it goes… of course partly my fault for not checking enough and everything before they left, but never coming back again.
Deana is very missed. I can't wait until she returns. The store is not vibing. You don't feel welcome and when you ask questions you get half answers. She's truly a breath of fresh air when you walk through the doors. Her voice and laugh can be heard from the back of the store to the front. Most of all she's keeps it real about the product. I absolutely love this store and sales staff!! We got everything we wanted at a wonderful and fair price. This store is clean, beautiful, and well lit. The staff are all great but Jamario is especially wonderful and got us everything we could possibly want in one visit! I would recommend this store over any other stores in the area! My husband and I went into the Florence store to look for a sectional couch for our new house. Pauline was very helpful and answered all our questions. We were told we would have free delivery of our sectional and 3 tables but when furniture came in we were told we would have to pay an additional charge for delivery!!! After already spending almost 5000 on furniture then we had to pay an additional 200 for delivery. I love the furniture but will not be shopping there again.

Truly a good experience from dealing with the sales team to the tracking of our order that was texted in me in every turn or any changes. Then the delivery team showed up early as they called and asked if they could....the attitude these two guys had was absolutely perfect. They moved our old stuff out an brought in the new couches an put them together perfectly....kudos guys.

Ashley furniture came highly recommended and I must agree, the customer service and the showroom is awesome. Peyton Michael’s was our sales rep on April 6, 2024. We financed through a company where we had to pay within 100 days before finance charges would apply. Needless to say we have paid off our furniture and here it is May 14, 2024 and we still have not received our it(We were initially told it would take 2-3 wks). My husband has spoken to Peyton a couple of times and was told they would deliver the furniture free of charge. We’re highly disappointed because during all of this we had to initiate the call to find out what was going on. No one had the common courtesy to reach out to us first to update or keep us updated during this process. We will not be doing business with this furniture store anymore.

Another female coworker in the store was talking down about how long it took Pauline to make the sale and it better be a big sale for how long it took, but what she fails to realize is it was us who took the time and Pauline was so patient with us. She helped us search online to find what we needed also. It took close to 3 hours for us to find something perfect for us! If the other worker wouldn't have been nasty and disrespectful I would have given this experience a full 5stars.

Fantastic, Amazing and Awesome come to mind first thing. We had a delivery yesterday and it started off with a Bang. The guys were professional, friendly and even put up with my own confusion. They were clean and worked quickly but not to fast. In this heat it their appearance was amazing. They knew what they were doing and did a great job setting up. Unfortunately We had made a mistake in measuring or living room oops. That’s when I met my lifesaver Tanqueray! Yep I spelled it correctly. She was and is amazing, quick to jump in and fix Our mistake. Even though she got off in a hour. She contacted the correct departments, has played middle person with them and even called me First thing this morning. Letting me know she’s still working on things. Jamario was awesome! He introduced himself, asked if he could help and we told him we were just looking. He said to let him know if we needed anything. He wasn't "pushy" like some salesmen can be. When we were trying to decide if the dining room set would fit in our space, he got out his measuring tape and even took the leaf out to measure with and without. We didn't even have to ask him to. We had looked at this same set at 3 other stores over the past few months and he was the only one who took the extra steps to help us visualize and make our decision easier. Chris Bently greeted us at the front door and at first we were kinda annoyed due to being bombarded right off however Chris immediately realized we were uncomfortable and did everything in his power to change it. Purchased a sectional couch in July of 22. With in 6 months it started to fall apart called customer service and all they did was replace my cushions. Now the back of the couch and the armrests are starting to shed the material. I suggested that they buy it back and I would try and purchase something more durable but they said that they don’t do that. So I spent $3500 on a sectional and within less than a year it’s falling apart.

Beware of buying the extended warranty plan with your purchase from Ashley Furniture. The use this company or did when we purchased out items back in 2022 and based on the reviews this company never honors a single claim. They will find a excuses for anything you send them. I have a stitching issue with my loveseat and called Ashley furniture only to be told to call the warranty company in which I did. I filed a claim and 14 days later I get a email that the issue with my product isn't covered. I recommend staying clear of anything from this location. They will sell you a high priced extended warranty that is 100% useless. Just looked up furniture care protection and check out the reviews if you want proof.

This review has nothing do with furniture. Recently I had a need for a large box. Started at Lowe's and they were rude. Several other stops to no avail. On the way home stopped at Ashley furniture. Not only did they have a large box that I needed they were friendly, nice and helpful. Even though I wasn't spending money, they still tried to help me. Even helped load the large box in my SUV. Rest assured the next time I need a piece of furniture, it'll be bought at Ashley's. Their staff is to be commended!!

*UPDATE EDIT* - Matt and Destiny were great helping us pick out the couch and set everything up with what we wanted. However, it took almost 3 months longer to receive the couch than we were initially told. There was a serious lack of communication on Ashley’s end, with promises of call-backs that wouldn’t happen and a promise of a credit back to our account that we never saw. I’m sure it’s corporate Ashley that’s ultimately the problem, but communication and an honest timeline from the store is something that could have helped alleviate some problems.

Paid in full...took 5 1/2 months to get furniture - this was unacceptable...that makes it a 1 star experience. However, the staff was very helpful when I followed up with them (just make sure YOU stay on them), they most likely won't follow up with you. In any case, despite ME having to reach out to them on multiple occasions, i would give the staff a 5 star rating....hence, my overall 3 star rating. I would shop here again, but with cautious optimism.

LaShay in customer support was amazing. I had issues with a store in another state and had been trying to resolve it for months. I spoke with LaShay and she asked to give her a bit to see what she could do for me. She called me 30 minutes later and the three month old problem was solved. Deanna, was AMAZING!!! So joyful and willing to help me and my fiancé purchase a new king bed set for our bedroom. Got a great deal and was very informative of all the requirements and was able to get my bed delivered before our actual move in day 🥰 we were just looking for a king bed BUT, we got the bed, 2 dressers and an ottoman that wasn’t over our budget! We bought a living room set and dining room table. The living room set was the show model and was delivered within a week. The estimated delivery time for the dining room table was 7-14 weeks. At the end of the 14 weeks, we called to check on it and it was extended another week. It was continually pushed out until we were told that it would not be delivered until April. We requested a refund and corporate sent our funds back within the next week. Ashley's funiture could not help the shipping timeframe, however the store associates contacted us prior to us receiving our refund for the dining room table and were completely clueless as to what we should be receiving a refund for. This made us feel incrediblely uneasy. That is the only reason this review is not receiving 5 stars.

Hello, Happy Saturday! So my husband and I just purchased furniture for our new home in Elgin SC. It's such a exciting moment!!! This store tells you one thing and does another.... my husband and I was told that our furniture would be assembled the day of delivery and when delivery was made they dropped the furniture off in my living room (wrong location) and left my pieces in the boxes saying that we only paid for delivery and not set up. When I called the Ashley store and complained the representative told me the manager would get back in contact with me and of course never did... this location is a joke spend your money someplace else!

Today, I decided to stop by Ashley's Furniture store to look around and be inspired by some much-needed home improvements. When I walked in, I had no idea that I would meet such an amazing soul as Deanna Woodbery. We started with small talk, and I quickly told her I was not there to purchase anything; I simply wanted to see their sectionals instead of being turned off by my somewhat stern exterior; she smiled and began to put forth some of the best customer services I've seen in years. Deanna was able to use plain talk (honest dialogue)to calm my nerves because, frankly, I had a fear of being told "no." She quickly shared the options available for purchasing furniture and said, give it a chance, so I completed the paperwork, and low and behold; I was approved for much more than I expected. I don't have bad credit, but no credit, which I feared no one would give me a chance, and Ashley's did with the help of a salesperson that knows how to make people feel important. Deanna gets a five-star review because she deserves it and so much more. I'm excited and looking forward to coming back someday and purchase again. I've already shared my experience with my family and some friends, and they will be looking for Deanna Woodberry when their furniture needs arise. I told him what I was looking for and he took me to see different products and assisted me in picking out the perfect piece of furniture. He made a task that could have taken hours be accomplished in 30 minutes. I appreciate his assistance and I highly recommend this store.
Terrible experience , definitely wouldn’t go back to purchase anything from this particular store. Placed my order in the end of February beginning of March and was patient due to covid waited almost 3 months still no furniture was told I would’ve received updated by my sales rep. never happen I had to keep calling and finally had to just cancel my order wasted my time and wasn’t professional or considerate at all! If I could I would give the 0 stars .
Checked several places today looking for furniture. The prices were sort of higher here for same things. The blond haired woman in the middle of the store literally stared at us as if we personally did something to her. She was not even wearing a mask.

Mario showed me every recliner he had available, after he asked me exactly what I was interested in. Had Erica take care of my wife and I the whole time, she did a great job, and was happy she was able to work with us on the price some. We didn’t have a super high budget and the furniture is expensive no matter where you go usually, so it was nice to find something we loved, priced matched with its online price, and got a good deal on it.
We purchased a sectional Jan 29th and was told the end of March was our expected delivery. Well I have called several times and the delivery time had been moved from the end of March to the middle of April to the beginning of May and now to the middle of May!!! Every single time I have called the rep has an attitude like you're an inconvenience to them. Always says we will call when it comes in! I'm sorry but last time I checked I just dropped a good bit of money on furniture and you don't even bother to let us know if the delivery time has changed and when I do call you have a nasty attitude. I am somewhat understanding of the date changes but customer service is horrible. That will probably be the last thing I ever buy from them because of that.
Jane was an excellent teacher and salesperson. We came in with our mind made up regard a split king adjustable mattress and frame. She took her time asking questions about sleep pattern, position we slept and pain issues, she began to educate us on mattresses She then had us try 4 different types of mattresses. Working with her was a joy. During our entire conversation you could see that customer service and satisfaction was important to her. When we left we had bought an adjustable queen mattress & frame with no pressure and feeling good about our decision. Jane is hard worker who cares about doing what is right for her customers.

Pretty good experience here while looking for new furniture. Manged to get a nice bedroom set for a good price, though sometimes you have to haggle a bit to get some better prices. I'm not sure when buying furniture became like buying a car, but thats the world we live in. Speaking of the world we live in, apparently the virus has made furniture production grind to a halt, so you rarely get anything immediately, and we were told 8-12 weeks for delivery. Just be aware of that going in. Overall I'd say it was a good experience, our sales person was nice and helpful, so ask for Austin if you go in. Will probably buy more from there in the future.

I even can not give one star for my experience. We paid for a sectional in November. Salesperson( who is nice ) told us that we will our sectional by Jan16th ( I know it's long time ) but did not get anything. When I contacted James he said we will get our sectional by Feb 6th. I have to take day off since someone has to be there. Truck came and dropped only 4 peace instead of 7 and he said he has no ideal. Within 3 hours of fixing power sectional one recliner broke. I contacted the store and explained and have to return. In that process customer care people are very rude. At end it's my worst experience ever in my life

Had a great experience from the moment we walked in. Erica Egleton was our sales associate and greeted us with a great smile. She let us browse the store without being pushy and as soon as we had a question she was eager to get us an answer. Erica had the patience of a saint dealing with my indecisiveness. Had the pleasure of meeting two separate associates on different occasions who made it very easy and stress free in making my purchase. On my first visit Matt I think is his name was able to get me pre approved and help me know what price range I would be looking at. He was very nice and pleasant in assisting me. Today I worked with Terrance who assisted in my final purchase and I couldn’t be more happy. He went above and beyond to help me out! Thank you guys so much!!
The purchase was painless, however we were told we would have 2 deliveries (one within like 2 weeks since things were in stock, and one at the 8 week or so point). We only got one that was about 12 weeks out. When they setup my master bed they also did the bed slats upside down so the support on the middle bottom broke within 3 days since they just jammed it in (noticeably upside down too!). I haven’t had a chance to go back and get it fixed. Annoyed that I had to even deal with that. Straight laziness.
It seems that their customer service ends after they’ve gained a purchase from you. They have not called me to update me on my order. I had to call them. I realized that they called my roommate instead of me regarding my delivery even though my number is the primary number on the account. I was very polite, and patient with them when I called. When I asked for them to please call me instead, the woman that I spoke with had an attitude, and rushed me off the phone.

From start to finish my experience was a 10/10, our sale representative was awesome and very knowledgeable! I purchased furniture on June 7 for my daughter and was told it could take up to 8wks. due to COVID-19 but could arrive sooner. I wanted it by her birthday which was on the 4th of July for her new home. We called to find out when to expect the furniture. We were told the last week of July didn’t happen. When asking about refunding my money I was told they didn’t do refunds. She was given 200 gift card for the inconvenience instead. They never update you on whats going on with your order. I guess it doesn’t matter since they’ve already been paid and the customer is the one stuck without furniture. I Was told some pieces would be available the first week of August. It August 14, and still no furniture. I called today and was told the week of Aug.19 two pieces of the furniture should be here and the other chair the 2nd week of Sept. It would be nice to update customer on the status of their order. Every time I’ve called it’s COVID but I’ve received other furniture from other retailers in a weeks time.The other 2wks from the order date all orders made the 2nd week of July. I regret paying ahead and ordering from this store. The places I order from place pending charges on your debt card until they actually ship your merchandise out. I am so full of regret with this purchase! It has really been a big inconvenience. Update 8-31-2020 my daughter still hasn’t gotten any pieces of the furniture set ordered and paid for. She was told it should be here sometime this week. It been nothing but a big run around from this store.

It's now week 6, and each time we call to get an estimated date, it's been delayed even further. They're now telling us it'll be at least another 3 weeks before it gets here. We requested a cancellation, but all sales are final. We've since moved into our new home and have no furniture for the foreseeable future. Not the kind of experience you want to have when you've spent a small fortune to furnish your new home.
Lies and deceit! I got scammed. It’s not Ashley Furnitures fault, they are here to make money, and make money they did. Jane promised that if we had issues, it would be covered. What she didn’t tell me was that involved sending us the furniture parts in the mail and saying good luck. As for The extended warranty. When specifically asking about moving “Nationwide coverage she says”. I should have got it in writing or something, that is certainly not the case. (The cardboard in our couch buckled, no one can service it now) Do yourself a favor. Go to Big Lots, look at the maker tag. Most of it is Ashley at a fraction of the price. They’ll even deliver the same day in most cases. Stay clear of Ashley it will only end in regret.

Was looking for some replacement furniture. Was met by Bri (hope I got that right Bri or Bre). She was very helpful in showing us what we asked for and was very helpful and understanding. When we didn't see exactly what we though we wanted we looked around the store and found what we ended up purchasing. Bri came right along with us and got us what we needed. The item was currently out of stock and she informed us of when we can expect delivery. Can't wait to see the new furniture at home!

I was overwhelmed and undecided on living room furniture and this was keeping my family from being able to move into our new home because we needed furniture for our living room before moving in. I took many measurements and brought them with me and with the little living room space I had to work with made picking furniture out stressful. Matthew understood this and went above and beyond to help us make sure we’d be happy with the furniture we were going to purchase so after going to him for a third time to get help figuring out what would work he said let’s just go to the house and let me see the space you have to work with. After going to the house (which blew my mind he was willing to go out of his way and do this) he then suggested a living room set that was perfect for our home. I went into this store about three months ago to browse around and to window shop after closing on my home. I was immediately greeted and shown some furniture based on my vision for my new home by Jane. I was then told about the credit card and the various payment options which sounded pretty good; manageable. I took some time to shop around and found that Ashley Homestore was where I needed to buy my furniture. I went back and Brianna took care of my requests and informed me of how the protection plans work. My furniture was delivered within two weeks of ordering. My experience was good; I would recommend this store to anyone in the area looking to buy nice furniture for reasonable prices with good customer service.

My wife and I recently purchased a Tempur-Pedic bed from this Ashley furniture store in Florence, SC. Our experience was extremely positive. James was very knowledgeable on the product and we appreciate his method of selling. James was very friendly, concerned and non-pushy. I highly recommend this store for your your home furnishing needs. 12/6/2019 - I am updating my review. Part of my order was received damaged. The delivery persons took a picture of the damaged piece. I was told that Ashley would re-order and call us. Ashley is not proactive. We had to call them and my wife spent a great deal of time on the phone trying to get this rectified. We have made a decision to never purchase from any Ashley HomeStore ever again. Ashley is not customer service oriented and very difficult to deal with when things go awry.

When I had questions/concerns about power operated reclining furniture, he called James Oxendine over for support. He was very knowledgeable and more than willing to help out. Long story short, I'm in sales myself for an international company and if my company had any openings I'd have bought the mattress and offered him a job. HE WAS DYNAMITE! Very pleasant but not at all pushy. Very very knowledgeable but not arrogant. Very honest and direct but never condescending. He showed tremendous patience with us too. When you mattress shop you basically have to lay on them to test them out. He let us take our time all the while explaining the benefits and value of each, and it was 7:30pm. We bought the King Set because it was the one we liked best, but also because we knew, from James' professionalism, that we were being treated fairly and because he explained to us EXACTLY what we were getting. I can't say enough good things about him. If you are shopping for any type of furniture go to Ashley Furniture near West Florence High School and ask specifically for James Oxendine. He'll treat you right!
I visited the Florence store in search of a new set for my family room. James Oxendine more than just assisted me with my purchase! He was very knowledgeable about the materials used and seemed to have my best interest at heart! His customer service skills were absolutely exceptional and made my buying experience pleasurable! Terrible service. Ordered my bed about a month ago, delivery department is completely careless, and won’t accommodate to your schedule. Left three voice mails and had to go to the store before scheduling a delivery date, only to find out that they could not deliver on the set date, after being stranded at my place for 3 hours waiting for them. Still haven’t gotten my order, and no one cares about my frustration with this. When tried to complain, I was told that each Ashley store is independently owned and operated, and that there is basically no one to complain to about how bad my experience has been with them.

Horrible customer service. I wandered the store for 40 minutes, the woman never checked back on me and instead assisted other customers. As I roamed the store aimlessly multiple associates just stared but none came to assist me, multiple associates looked and then continued walking past me and the ones that did this were just standing in certain areas. I'll take my business elsewhere since it was not wanted. And this happened today 05/04 as I sit in the store typing this.

I haven't been a fan of this place for a while now. Years ago my husband and I went in to buy an adjustable bed and the sales lady flat out lied when we were talking to her about cash pricing and financing. They we're running a special that was to be free financing but the pricing kept changing. We had been back for years until this visit and unfortunately we didn't find what we were looking for and since we were specific on just a rocker recliner, I guess it wasn't enough for the sales person to try to help us, she walked off and didn't come back to help.

ASHLEY CUSTOMER SERVICE REP BRITTANY is awesome!! I was informed that my mattresses were in and called to set up delivery with the Florence NC customer care delivery department. The original delivery date was a week away, so I asked Miss Brittany if she had a supervisor available. She put me on hold and a short time later I was told that the supervisor and she were able to move the delivery to Monday Dec. 17th instead of the 21st! Great customer service! I purchased a set of furniture (signed paperwork and such) on Oct 30th, 2018 and was told that due to it being on back order id be looking at receiving the furniture mid November. As of right now I am now being told that I wont get it until EST Dec 18th-20th ... I will be going in to cancel the order all together and demand a full refund for my wasted time if I don't have it by then. This is the worst experience I have received at a furniture store. I went to Ashley because they have more to pick from and I was looking for something specific.... but this wasn't worth it. I have shopped at Aarons, Conns, and Parrots with MUCH better service so far.

I normally hate going into stores like Ashley, but thanks to a sales associate named Jamario, my experience in Florence was a great one! My wife and I were looking for a new bedroom set and Jamario was a great help. He greeted us at the door, asked what we were looking to purchase, then let us browse, checking in periodically to see how we were doing. Jamario didn't hover or come off as overbearing, as sales staff on showroom floors often can. He was straightforward and let us go at our own pace. He talked to us like we were people and not walking dollar bills. After answering a barrage of questions from us patiently and professionally, Jamario helped us find what we were looking for and gave us a really good deal in the process. If you go to Ashley HomeStore in Florence, ask for Jamario! He'll help you out.
We had a great experience buying a queen size mattress set. Jamario Simmons was our first contact by phone before visiting the store. He was a very professional, friendly and NOT pushy salesperson. That first phone contact is so important because we felt we had someone who would work with us! If we need anything in the future, we will certainly go back to Ashley Home Furniture and ask for Jamario. The delivery went well too with Ashley's system contacting us to make certain things were progressing smoothly.

Disappointing. New to tge country and could not get $1700 worth of furniture despite my $400 deposit.😟
The sales rep Chris we talked to was a really cool guy. My husband and I found a desk and couch at the store we fell in love with, we were ready to buy a 250.00 desk and just about 3000.00 couch with protection plan. We have a credit card through we wanted to place our purchase on. So we were getting the invoice done up and then he says we have to pay 20% up front. Curious I asked why they said it was an Ashley Furniture policy. I just got off the phone with the Corporate headquarters, they only thing they require is taxes and delivery fee be paid up front. Only reason I called was my husband and I are from Wisconsin where the store is headquartered and when we were considering furniture from there before I did not recall this issue coming up at that time. I understand store policy but I do not appreciate being lied to after specifically asking if it was a store or corporate policy. It is very off putting and I will have to keep searching for a new couch at this point. If i cannot expect them to be honest with a detail like that, how can I expect them to follow through and be transparent about the protection plan or any other issues that arise with the furniture, should we have decided to buy the couch we wanted. And of course it isn't on the Ashley website so I cannot even buy it online. Edit 2/27/2018 So despite my better judgement, we decided to go forward and order the couch and desk after speaking with the Store Manager to get a better understanding of the situation and to make it right, only because we fell in love with the couch and couldn't find anything else we actually liked. On our paper it says warehouse arrival 2/28/2018-3/7/2018. We just got a call yesterday saying now it may not come in until the end of March and possibly could maybe be earlier. They will keep us updated. So we signed papers and purchased our furniture on February 13th. They don't tell you that one warehouse supplies like 10 stores in the area, so despite being given a time frame of when you should receive your items it doesn't mean anything if you order a "popular item" because the one warehouse delivers to all these stores. Save yourself time and hassle find somewhere else to buy your furniture unless you want to wait over a month for what you buy. BTW you have 24 hours to change your mind otherwise they hit you with a 20% restocking/cancellation fee EVEN THOUGH THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE THE ITEM IN STOCK AND WILL NOT BE HERE FOR A MONTH. I have no one to blame but myself after the other visits, I should have known better, buyer beware.

I just moved Darlington a.c. from Montana went into Ashley in Florence just to look for a table the salesperson was Deanna Woodbury and she got me the greatest seal that by the time I left I had a whole house furnished and the prices where great. Deanna is the greatest salesperson with the greatest personality. She is a ray of sunshine and she followed up to make sure I was happy and let me know when to expect delivery. Please go in and see her.
Priced to high for shotty quality.
I bought a couch, love seat, recliner, and coffee table from Ashley furniture a few years ago. The couch and recliner broke and they couldn't fix it so instead they offered a reselect for the furniture. The reselect is a rip off and they only offered it because of the extended warranty that we had purchased . They don't tell you that the reselect furniture has to be more then the reselect price that they give you and it can't be on sale and it has to be the same pieces. We bought reclining furniture on sale and we wanted reclining furniture again but since we couldn't buy on sale prices we had to pay full price for it and ended up taking out another Ashley furniture credit card to pay for it. Then that furniture begin to break after just a couple of months. It's cheap furniture but yet I'm still paying on it and they refuse to fix it with the extra extended warrantee that I had to purchase for the reselect furniture. Apparently the reselect furniture does not come with the manufactures warranty and if they were to fix it then that would use up the extended warranty. So now we are stuck with crappy furniture where the wooden frames of the furniture stick into your back so you have to have all of these extra pillows around you just to be comfortable. And I'm still paying it off. It's a waste of time and money. The salesman was nice, but they get paid commission. The delivery guys were nice also. The warehouse people are terrible and the warranties are worthless. I will never purchase anything from them ever again.
I placed an order for a few pieces and all of the screws were not included to one of my beds. I advised the warehouse the following day and was told that the screws would have to be ordered and mailed to me. Now a month later, they have placed the order but it has not been shipped. The estimated shipment date is unknown. Now I'm being told if I return the bed, I will not get all of my money back because of restocking fees. What a way to treat your customers!! If i could provide negative stars, the Ashley Furniture in Florence, SC would have it!!
We came in looking for a new sofa and absolutely loved the experience we had with Matthew Brown! He was very helpful but wasn’t pushy or overbearing at all. He worked very well with us and helped us find the perfect sofa!
We purchased quite a bit of furniture from a different Ashley Furniture store, but it was delivered from the Florence location. The three men that came to deliver our furniture did an excellent job! The were knowledgeable about all different types of assembly- putting together a bed and kitchen table, hooking up electronic reclining furniture, etc. They were very careful when hauling the furniture to protect it and our walls/doorways. They were hard workers and extremely polite!

We drove up on a Sunday from Sumter as this was the only Ashley open on Sundays. Even though we are still in the looking and deciding phase, the staff was very nice and helpful if we had questions. We didn't feel pressured and it was nice to just walk around and look at different furniture and mattress options. The store on that particular day wasn't busy and it was pretty quiet.

Sale prices become null and void if you finance the furniture. In my opinion, a sale price should be the price whether you finance or buy outright.

Poor service and products. Durablend furniture failed and revealed bare threads. Furniture is not considered late delivery until 1 month from time of purchase. 3 weeks down and still waiting on delivery of new product.

My husband and I had been by the store 3 times looking at different pieces trying to find the right fit. Ashley helped us each time we came in and never made us feel pressured to make a purchase. She explained everything about my purchase and upcoming delivery in detail. The store manager also ensured that I was taken care of. Very nice when attempting to make a sell. The years since have been terrible. My wife and I purchased a bed suit among another pieces. It is difficult for us to sleep on the bed because it partially collapses due to its inability to hold our mattress. Ashley refuses to stand behind their product even after me filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Went into Ashley's after seeing sale signs and was immediately greeted by Charles from Richmond Virginia. He was able to get us the sectional, dining table with chairs, and our bar stools for under the price we were going to pay for original sectional. He was super friendly and upbeat. He wasn't the typical clingy salesman you normally see. He let us look and answered any questions that we had and got us the best deal that we have seen.

My husband and I are new homeowners (wohoooo - exciteddddd). We came by to "just look around" and fell in love with a king size bedroom set (why not right - you gotta be comfortable). We figured we would talk it over that night n make a decision. We spoke, we loved, we were just worried abt cost. One of their sales rep - (Keegan - i hope i spelt that right) went the extra mile to give us a call and advise us of an upcoming promotion (awesome sauce) and even set up an appointment to see us at a time that was super convenient for us. We showed up early (our sons ball practise got cancelled) and he accommodated us with no problem, got us signed up, and approved for financing with no trouble. Did I mention they had snacks? (Lol). Long story short we will be getting our new furniture soon and we couldn't be more pleased. The entire process was painless and we are walking away satisfied! Love the service, loved the prices and loved our new bedroom set. BTW - did I mention they had snacks laid out hahaha! I give Ashley's Furniture in Florence 5 stars!

My wife and I purchased 2 sofas from Ashley Furniture 4 years ago. A couple of months back the dura blend leather began to peel off. I contacted the warranty company and was told they didn't cover defects in material. After speaking with Matthew Brown at the store he assured me that he would try his best to help me with my problem. Long story short, Matthew went out of his way to help me and I now have a new sofa. My boyfriend and I came into Ashley Furniture to purchase furniture for his new apartment, and Deanna and Jane (the two saleswomen that assisted us) were wonderful and showed the highest level of costumer service and professionalism. Deanna was even able to get on the phone with Ashley's Furniture corporate headquarters, and push for a delivery date three weeks sooner than the original scheduled delivery date of January 7. Fyi: According to the Ashley clerk, the store policy is after 24 hours of a purchase, the customer has to pay 20% of the purchase if they want to return an item. They call it a restocking fee, but the item is not even in stock in the first 24 hours, so what is being restocked? I am very skeptical of this fee and would encourage everyone to think really hard before purchasing anything from this Ashley store.

Ashley furniture is very bad when ever we got our furniture it always came damaged or broken and whenever they came to replace it came damaged every time we got it replaced over 6 times and they never help us. they also cheat and their service is very bad whenever the delivery guy came to deliver he was swearing and left rudely. whenever we call Ashley they never help us its only at the beginning when you go buy furniture for the first time and after that they don't help. i will never buy furniture at this store ever again. they are just trying to make money not help people with their furniture. never ever go to they Ashley furniture home-store in Florence,SC stupid furniture and stupid furniture and service.
