We visited the Ashely Store in Greenville. Shortly after we started looking around , BJ welcomed us in and offered his assistance. We made him aware that we were just looking , and he informed us on the deals that they had going and told us to let him know if we needed anything. Upon looking , we saw a piece that we really liked and had questions. We found BJ and he answered all of our questions and then some. We ended up making a purchase and the process was flawless from beginning to end!

Unfortunately after getting home and measuring, it ended up being a bit too large for our space, but that was on us, not him. Went shopping for a matress. I wanted to pick it up that day. Nothing was available for pickup. The one I wanted wasn't available for delivery until January. I picked a higher priced one because the salesman said that he could "squeeze" it on the truck and have it delivered tomorrow. The paperwork said that it would be delivered on 12/30/25, but the salesman said he could get it to me on 12/27/25. I paid for it on 12/26/25 in full. When I called the store, they said it is scheduled for delivery on 12/30/2025.

Went in to feel a mattress I had already purchased online that was shipping the next day, and left with a completely different (better) one and a bundle of accessories for not much more money. Scott was super knowledgeable and helped up pick the best mattress for our needs. Happy we stopped in.

Today was my first time buying furniture. Kristen Bowling was so helpful ! She walked me and my family around the store and talked us through everything. She was patient with us and very supportive and understanding. I would recommend her for any sales inquiries as well as purchases, she was AMAZING !!

Our experience with Ashley, was not what I expected, the usual salesperson hovering over your shoulder making you feel pressured and uncomfortable to make a decision. Hytham was so professional and had the best salesmanship we have ever experienced with complete patience, with my indecisive self. I bought a couch from Ashley furniture it doesn’t have a month being new it has a damaged that i paid insurance just in case, the insurance costed over 500 dollars and i dis the claim and they said is not valid, also my love seat makes a noise like is broken and Ashley furniture or insurance they made me paid for they dont want to respond, i need a resolution i will leave here my honest review.

In 2022, I went to Ashley for the first time and bought a new bedroom suit because we were moving and had never had new bedroom furniture. I had looked everywhere and spent months looking online. I loved an affordable set at Ashley, but when I got there to look at it, it felt cheaply made and I realized you get what you pay for. I ended up finding a much sturdier set that I loved, but of course, it was a lot more expensive. I bought it anyway. Also, for the first time in my life, I bought the 5 year extended warranty plan. Cut to almost 3 years later, the side of the bed broke. I went online and read horror stories of Ashley not honoring their warranties and not accepting so many claims. I was worried. My experience was the complete opposite, fortunately. My claim was accepted within 3 hours. The next day, someone called me to schedule the repair. I was pretty disappointed with how long it was going to take for the parts to come and for it to be completed, but fortunately we had a guest bedroom we could sleep in so we waited. The repair people just left. Everything looks good as new and feels rock solid. Overall, I'm pleased with the experience. 4 stars because the bed shouldn't have broken in the first place, but I still recommend them. Just be cautious about which items you buy. Not everything is built the same at any store. Also, the sales people were friendly in the store and the people I spoke to on the phone were helpful.

Great experience and atmosphere. Billy and Hytham are great people. They both are very knowledgable experienced in their job. Have to see Billy once you go. His Designer skills and knowledge are top notch.

We had shopped numerous furniture stores and found BJ in Greenville to be most knowledgeable and helpful in assisting us selecting our purchase. This level of courtesy, knowledge and true understanding of our desire was not present in three other competitors we visited. Hats off to BJ and the Greenville Ashley store. I strongly recommend avoiding Ashley Furniture. The quality of the furniture I received was subpar, and I had major issues with damaged goods upon delivery. Even after following their return policy, I had to go through an exhausting process just to try to return the product. Despite spending a significant amount of money, I’m still stuck with a damaged TV stand that hasn’t been fixed. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere for better quality and customer service. please stay far away and look elsewhere for furniture.

Do not shop with ASHLEY FURNITURE OF GREENVILLE SC EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!! Matthew Kennedy overcharged me for my order. Printed a sales receipt for a certain amount and then charged $600+ than what was quoted on the paperwork and is currently stalling to correct it! He claims the transaction didn't process the first time and ran the charge again. When the delivery guy shows up, he shows up with 2 beds! I only ordered 1, so that goes to show that the order was processed the first time. Highly disappointed in this company for not handling this manner. I will be contacting the main office and filing a complaint

Terrible experience. I was talked into purchasing the stores insurance coverage, only to feel completely scammed. I have been waiting since late June for them to fix my couch. After weeks of follow up calls, they told me there was no one available to repair it. I reminded them that the contract stated I should receive a replacement if it couldn’t be fixed, but they refuse to honor that. When I asked again for a repair date, they finally offered Saturday. I agreed, but clearly explained that I work and the appointment needed to be after 1 PM. This whole process has been frustrating, time consuming, and disappointing. I would not recommend a store or their insurance coverage

They don’t deserve one star. They brought us a California King bed. And put a queen size mattress on it and left before I could get dresssed. Got someone with Parkinson’s that can’t walk to sign off on it. Now they won’t fix the problem or take the bed back. They have stolen 2000$ from us that we worked hard to save up. Now won’t do a thing to make it right. They are rude, smug, arrogant thieves. And if you look online and social media you’ll see they are doing a whole lot of people the same way.

Initially we had a great experience with Mr. Braun Clark when we bought our sofa and dining room set. When it came to delivery, we received a notification that the sofa console did not pass inspection and that they would re-order one and deliver it. It is now almost 3 weeks later and no console... I called for an update and was told that they canceled the order for the console on Sept 2 and they NEVER notified us or updated our transaction order. After almost an hour on the phone going back and fourth because they said it was our fault (?) and a "miscommunication" because we updated two consoles to one. The woman at the Woodruff store, Lillian, was rude, dismissive, raised her voice and talked over me. Not once did she apologize. I will not be returning back to this store and do not recommend coming here.

We called prior to our arrival and spoke to a gentleman about what we were looking for. He gave us some options to come in and look at. We stopped by the store and wandered around looking for the sofas he had mentioned. Everytime we got near a employee, they would literally turn and go the opposite direction. One guy was sitting on a sofa playing on his phone and got up and moved to another sofa when he saw me approaching him. I couldn't believe it. We wanted to order the Boothbay collection. We were not even able to do that. We have been to every furniture place in Greenville and this was the first one that we were made to feel unwelcome. Their store manager needs to do better.

I recently visited the Ashley home store and was quite surprised to see the transformation from previous times. Did they lose their store designer? The entire experience was sad and uninspiring.

The one star is for the employees at the actual store and the furniture being decent quality besides the marks and chips it came with. Overall, I have been so disappointed and dissatisfied with this company. We ordered a bedroom suite, there were chips and marks in the wood. As well as one of the nightstand drawers is completely dysfunctional. There is a technician supposed to be coming to fix it, however when spending this kind of money you expect it to be perfect when arriving. We ordered the mattress, it was supposed to come August 5th. It got moved to the 26th. Keep in mind this is my first time buying furniture, therefore I was sleeping on an air mattress for over a month. The time comes around for the mattress delivery and i get a confirmation text for the 23rd, not the 26th. I had already taken work off, so I had to scramble to try to get this fixed. Finally I got in touch with a corporate manager who fixed it thank goodness. Overall, this company is extremely disorganized and does not function well like it used to. Everyone always recommends Ashley furniture, i guess because it used to be good. Not anymore, I will not be shopping here ever again.

Bj (Brian) was amazing, super great to work with really helpful. He answered ALL questions my husband and I had. Even offered us a quote and walked us through how financing worked. Ended up buying something and would happily come back.

Avoid avoid avoid. Misleading and scammy. Wife and I just purchased a new bedroom set for our hours. This is my third time furnishing the room through Ashley, but wow will it be the last. We were signed up for a credit card without our knowing. When I even asked the question about how I'm paying the question was completely dodged saying "It's easy you don't pay anything right now, but you will when you get the furniture. You will receive something in the mail that explains it." I mentioned payment on our credit card to my wife and the sales agent said "well we offer 12 month financing with 0% interest. Might as well do that it's 12 payments instead of 1". When we sat down and went through all my information (Address for delivery, account name, etc) he asked for my social which I thought was a little odd, but I trust Ashley so I gave it. I signed and initialed beside all of the pieces of furniture I was buying, told to sign here it states this is the discount from the price match, this is the discount from the sale going on, and apparently a line was snuck in there about opening up a credit card. Not once was a credit card mentioned or "synchrony". Even after asking how I'll pay. I called and talked to the manager after finding out and she was very apologetic and felt very bad that it happened and recommended I call the customer care from Ashley. Ashley said they can't do anything for me, no compensation, etc. since I signed the document. I expressed that I was strongly mislead into it and how it was signed and that is what I have an issue with, but they didn't care. So I guess I have an Ashley credit card now.

This store made an overwhelming and stressful purchase simple and fun. It shouldn't be stressful upgrading a mattress but the website has so many options and I don't know what they are. I chatted with a consultant and she reached out to a sales professional at the store and we arranged a time to meet so he could show me what he knew I was looking for. I found what I wanted (it's fabulous) within an hour and I was able to sit down and relax while he drew up the order details and arrange for delivery and set up. I got a great deal but better than the deal was the exceptional customer service. Highly recommend that store and Jamar, in particular for his product knowledge, customer service abilities (to soothe my anxiety) and professionalism.

Me and my mother walked into the store on Woodruff Rd. We were looked at like we didn’t belong in the store. No one would help us for 30 minutes. Finally I walked up to the customer service desk and asked if I could get some help. A lady asked me did anyone greet you when you came in and the answer was NO! Finally, a lady named Sherri got up from her desk and came back to help me. The only reason I spent my money in that store is because Sherri was such a wonderful sales person. If it had not been for her I would’ve walked out and never went back in there. I really hope they get it together in there and come up with a better system to help customers and greet them when they come in because too many negative comments will hurt them.

Because of the rain we were the only customers, at that time, but Braun was super nice and no pressure at all. He completely understood what we were looking for and let us wander around the store until we found the perfect pieces. It was a really nice experience.

Beautiful piece of furniture but DO NOT purchase clearance items from Ashley unless you can pick it up yourself. They will not deliver and the people they recommended to deliver it were either not available or told me they would do it, then stopped returning calls. We ended up having to rent a UHaul and pick it up ourselves. Never again! Other furniture stores deliver clearance items, not to mention this was a $4000 purchase. Salesperson was nice and we had no issue with employees. Corporate just needs to change their policy 😞

I bought a purple mattress here. 1 week later I am waking up with back pain I never had before. The store manager said I need to live with it longer because I need to get used to the new mattress. He said I only get 1 more chance to get the right mattress, so i have to be sure if I make a change. They don't care if you are comfortable, they just want the sale and then you are stuck. I wish I kept the old mattress that I thought was too old because I slept well before. When you spend $2500 for a mattress you should sleep well.

We purchased a sofa and will be purchasing additional furniture in the very near future. We purposely went to Ashley's to check out rugs they sold online but found out the store and online are two different entities. We couldn't order the rug in store. While checking out the area rug online, it didn't come in the color we wanted so I put the product in search on Google and found at least 3 different places I could get the same rug. The price was at least $20 cheaper also. I guess the Ashley name has higher priced products. But the customer service lady in Greenvilke, SC was very nice.

This was the easiest couch buying experience ever!! Would highly recommend BJ - love that we could customize the couch to our difficult to fit space and he was so helpful and friendly throughout the entire process. I’ll be back again when we have worn this one out!!

Sherri is the only person you need to consider when you walk into Ashley Furniture store. She was both insightful and a pure delight to work with. Straightforward and honest and integrity is what we lack these days. Such a fresh breath of air. Whole process was seamless, and guess what I am brand new first time customer ever shopping with Ashley. I cannot recommend her and the entire staff enough. Did I mention reasonably priced.

Bought this comfortable couch for the den and I love how it is raised so I can get up without struggling. The salesman was very kind and gave me space to make my decision. Then when I was walking to the counter, I was out of breath, (respiratory issues) and another salesman quickly got me water from vending machine, refusing my money . Small acts of kindness go a long way. This was a very nice experience and I’m very pleased.

Hytham was a wonderful salesman! He was patient as we shopped around the store, and made great suggestions with what color chair fabric and patterns would match the beautiful couch and end table we picked out!!
