Unfortunately we did not have a great experience, at first it was good. We had Billy as a salesperson. We picked out a bed and mattress, asked him if we needed a foundation. He said yes and never discussed heights with us and added a 10inch foundation, we accepted that he knew his business. It gets delivered unpacked and set up by Ashley's they leave and then we realized the bed with a 10in foundation and a 12in mattress was to tall. Call immediately and inquire about an exchange. Billy dodged me for a day, and when I finally got him on the phone the next day, it took him multiple hrs to get me an answer. Th answer was it's been unpacked so there's nothing I can do, but I'll give you a deal on a shorter one. I didn't order it or unpack it but I sure did pay the price. We will never return! Very shady!

Furniture is okay , but don’t trust them trying to sell you their dimond care warranty!!!!! It’s a huge scam paid $700 of this warranty and guess what almost nothing can be covered! The sales lady there was in aw of this warranty! I’m sure she gets warranty as a bonus working there so you definitely won’t get any warranty there . I’m very upset that I can’t trust Ashley’s sales workers!

Visited Ashley store in South Carolina for the first time. We are from Florida. How lucky we were to walk in and be greeted by Abby. She was patient, kind, and very knowledgeable. Terrible Company and Terrible service! I had a new bed delivered in November and still have yet to receive the missing parts. They say they are on backorder, but never get back to me with a date. Sent someone to build the parts, but sent the wrong materials and still said they don't have any answers! Don't buy anything from Ashley's Furniture!

I purchased a bed set in December from Hytham Mobarak. I had issues from the start going around and around with who is going to fix the problem. On a whim I called Hytham, he was responsive, had empathy and resolved my problem the same day I spoke to him. I had a great experience at the Ashley Store recently. I’d been looking for a 7-9 drawer dresser with a slim design / length but a full 18’ drawer. Also good side-sliders to avoid a wobbly drawer. Ashley was not on my radar after a few low standard mistakes from the online store. Not only did they have a lot of inventory on the floor but the range of design quality / price was better than competitors. Salesman was super helpful and his Manager really worked out cost of delivery and product protection to meet my comfort zone. Can’t wait for it to arrive!

If there was a negative star I would pick it. I’m shopping for a sofa. Love seat. Modular…I need a full set. The store was empty. I went in and someone came to assist me. I told him what I was looking for and he told me I wasn’t going to find it. I had found something online before. Told him. He told me I was wrong. We walked around…he showed me nothing that I was asking for. Then he said no one makes that. And asked me if I was interested in a mattress. No. Sofa. And so I went across the street to Jeff Lynch. They had exactly what I wanted. I ordered and he list at least a 5000 sale. Rude and uninterested. Will never recommend or return

Two sectionals later with 2 separate warranties and they always find a way not to honor their word. Never again.

Walked into the store having done my research and knew exactly what I wanted. Ive ordered ALOT of furniture from them over the years. Im not sure what has happened to this company, but it is not even close to the superior place it once was. Sales person was efficient with the paperwork and order, hence the 1 star I gave. From there on it was a nightmare. I was given a time frame, which wasnt met nor communicated until I reached out. Then delivered a damaged loveseat, had to wait another 4 weeks, again no communication. I had to repeatedly stay on top of them. REPEATEDLY. Service and delivery departments read from a script and are ZERO help at all. No apology, no nothing. Just read from a script like a robot. I finally have everything I ordered. And I will never order from them again.

Bought 2 reclining sofas and not even a week later the recliner motor went. A month later we are still living with a broken sofa waiting for the part. Spend $4,000 on sofas and I expect them to work. Definitely would not recommend. We will never be returning customers.

This store is awful. This is the 2nd instance I have attempted to purchase furniture. The first instance was back in 2020 and they took 3-4months to get me a bed room set. Multiple attempts of them changing the date. The day I finally told them to cancel my order, they were supposed to deliver between 8am and 2pm. Never showed up. About 6pm, I called and they stated they talked to me and told me their truck had broken down and they would need to reschedule. Years later in November of 2024, I ordered something middle of the month and was told it would be here by beginning of December. You know what happened? Never showed and no one ever called. I went over to Rooms-To-Go to order and they gave me a date that my furniture would be there in 2days. I went back over to Ashley’s to cancel this order and they attempted to say it would be there on December 21st. My patience was gone and I wasn’t going to wait. I canceled my order then. I was told they would charge me 10% restocking fee for canceling — this is really because they can’t hold up their end of the bargain. Here we are on January 15 and I still do not have my refund. Everyone in the store keeps giving me the run around. If I were anyone looking to shop here, please go next door to Rooms-To-Go and get reliable service. Ashley’s will take your money and never deliver any of your furniture. This store is awful and needs to be out of business. I need my full refund, not a charged restocking fee. Trash service.

To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding a recent purchase made at Ashley Home Furniture in Greenville, SC, on December 29, 2024. We purchased a couch and a loveseat (Order #2013594948) through salesperson Will Floyd, who assured us that we would have 72 hours to return the items following delivery. The furniture was delivered on January 13, 2025, and my husband signed for it. Upon my return home, however, I was dissatisfied with both the comfort and the appearance of the couches. Additionally, they emitted a strong chemical odor, which has caused irritation to my eyes and sinuses, and has affected my pets' health as well. After reviewing the return policy online, I found a stipulation that issues must be reported within 72 hours. We promptly contacted our salesperson, leaving both a message and a text, but unfortunately received no response. Within 24 hours of delivery, we reached out to Ashley’s customer service and were informed that the “terms and conditions” prohibit returns. We were advised that refusal of delivery would have been necessary, a fact that should have been communicated to us at the time of purchase. If we had been informed of this policy, I would have arranged to be present at the time of the delivery. Moreover, our attempts to reach the local store were redirected to Corporate, where we were again told they could not assist us in processing a return. Even after escalating the issue, the corporate manager reiterated that the return was not an option due to company policy. I have expressed a willingness to exchange the items instead of requesting a refund; however, this has gone unanswered. It is worth noting that the reason we were seeking new couches was to replace a "top grain leather" couch purchased from Ashley four years ago, which has worn excessively and is not covered under warranty due to being classified as "normal wear and tear." I am requesting an exchange for the purchased items, with any fees associated with this process to be covered by the store. I believe it is reasonable to ask that Ashley Furniture Store implements clear and transparent return procedures for all customers, providing necessary support when their products fail to meet expectations. Regrettably, I have come to the conclusion that Ashley Furniture Store’s policies are misleading and do not prioritize customer satisfaction. Consequently, I cannot recommend this company based on my experience, and I urge others to consider this when making their purchasing decisions. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I hope this complaint leads to a more consumer-friendly approach in the future. I would leave zero stars if I could. My next post is on the BBB site.

Will Floyd was a pleasure to work with, considering we were not spending much. Patient, helpful, informative and didn't stalk us as we walked around, which took us some time. And near the end we changed our minds and we had to start a new transaction over. Not sure how it works at Ashley, but ask for him if you can!

After I received terrible customer service at the location in Greenwood SC, I called to the Greenville SC location. After telling my experience to a salesman by the name Braun Clark he assured me that if I came into the Greenville location that he would take GREAT care of me. He did just that! After walking around the store with me and answering ALL the questions and concerns that I had about the furniture, I made a purchase. He really gave me the BEST customer service ever! If you're looking for furniture and GREAT customer service, go to Ashley Furniture in Greenville, SC and ask for Braun. You will NOT be disappointed.

Giving 1 star specifically for the price guarantee policy which is inconsistent with what is stated online. Ashley’s website promises to honor price adjustments on purchases within 30 days. However, this location is “independently owned” and only gives customers up to the time of delivery. I have yet to find any literature that differentiates the two policies. They need to be aware that when customers shop here, they are shopping at Ashley’s furniture, not “independently owned retailer”. Store policies should be consistent. Customer experiences at this location will determine whether they shop at any other Ashley’s store or online again. Not to mention the forced delivery fee they impose when the same items are available online with free delivery.

Went to the Greenville, SC store shopping for a sofa. Met with Scott Rudy. He took the time to show us what was available and explained all the costs involved with the purchase. Did not feel pressured or rushed. We had a negative experience at another store prior to this, with being overcharged for warranty plan and delivery fee. Scott was disappointed with this and apologized for this past experience, even though he was not involved with it. Overall, a good experience at the Greenville store

In 60 seconds she profiled us and identified what kind of recliner we needed. She saw we had kids and knew a tough material would be good for us. She also saw my wife was pregnant and knew she would need something for rocking the baby and breastfeeding. She listened to us. We were blown away by how quickly she led us to what we were looking for and also gave us appropriate space to talk amongst ourselves and try other recliners if we wanted. Went in looking for certain pieces as we recently moved to SC. After have gone to a few other stores and either did not like what they had, did not have what we wanted, or they were too expensive, Ashley had what we were looking for and at a reasonable price. Was able to get what we needed without having to spend to much time in there. Definitely worth a look when in the market. Will definitely be back for other furniture when the time comes.

When I received my mattress it had 2 holes in it, I have been getting the run around about my warranty and was told to file the damages on the delivery people. I was treated great when I was purchasing my order, now since they received my money it’s a struggle to get this issue resolved.

When you are in search of a new high-end mattress set, it’s a big deal! It’s an exciting purchase, and a very important one as a good night’s sleep depends on the right selection for your budget. At Ashley’s Greenville store, Will was totally up to the task to walk me through all the options! He did a great job explaining the various features and differences between the mattresses. I spent thousands of dollars at Ashley in Greenville after buying a new home. Where do I start with the horror stories? With the USED chair they sent out and never switched for a new one after I called and told them I wanted a new one, as that is what I paid for? How about the big hole in the back of a chest of drawers that was covered up with stickers by the delivery guys and wasn't discovered until a painter working here pointed it out to me? Ashley didn't replace that either. How about them never giving me the 2 pillows for the couch I bought? I went to the Anderson store and told the manager there about all this and more. He said he would call the manager of the Greenville store (his brother, as it turned out), and the manager there would call me back. He didn't. I stopped by the Anderson store again, and the manager was surprised I didn't get a phone call, and he called the Greenville store again. I never got a phone call. Oh, and forget about so-called customer service. They are even ruder and more incompetent than the people at the store. If I had to do it all over again, I would never have stepped foot in an Ashley store. Shop anywhere else. They will lie to you with a straight face and never correct their own...I won't call them "mistakes" because they deliberately try to get away with screwing their customers.

My husband and I had the BEST experience with Hytham when we came to Ashley to buy a sectional! Although we already knew which one we wanted, Hytham greeted us with kindness & let us know about the Black Friday sale they were having. He was super knowledgeable & even showed us the matching ottoman & it’s cool features (which totally sold us). Hytham was patient, personable, and just overall provided a great atmosphere for us to shop in (versus the other stores where the salespeople follow you around). We’re super excited to get our sectional and happy to have had Hytham be part of our experience!

Do not buy furniture from this place. It’s cheap expensive crap. Owner of a bedroom set that was over 5k. Two years down the road every single item is broke. When my bed got delivered it wasn’t even put together right so I had to make something up to get it to work. Also on top of that a 500 dollar mirror never got delivered. I do not recommend any furniture from Ashley furniture. It’s all garbage!

We explained what we were looking for, and she showed us around and explained certain product features. She then gave us our space to explore around. Once we found the winners, she got us set up with financing and delivery. From start to finish, we were there a little over an hour. It was a great shopping experience! We got exactly what we wanted, and we were not pressured into anything we didn't want. We will definitely recommend Ashley Store and Madi to our friends and family!

I just moved from Florida and needed to fully fill up my new house here. That's a lot of pressure and a lot of decisions to be made. But thankfully Kristen was there to help me through the process. I have a busy work schedule so I can usually only shop over the weekends. One week I bought mattresses that are extremely comfy. Then another week I bought a sofa, tables, and so much more. Through the whole process Kristen listened to all my musings and humming and hahing - thanks to her I was able to find some awesome items for great deals. Plus, she combined my orders that spanned multiple weeks so that I did not have to pay shipping twice. Good selection and very good prices. I like that our Salesman, Scott asked a few questions to learn what I was looking for, took us to the area where there were several choices, and left us alone. He didn’t follow us around like a lost puppy! We decided, and because he was assisting another customer when we were ready, a manager came over to complete the sale for us. He was also very nice and even gave us his manager’s discount to save us money. We were done and on our way in a short amount of time. I love Ashley and the way they do business. I love their products. I’ve bought several furniture items from them and they sell good quality furniture at a reasonable price. I recommend Ashley to anyone looking for good well-priced furniture. Great experience here buying a couch! We had one visit to browse and a second one to buy. Jamar was wonderful and helped us so quickly and efficiently. The process was painless and easy. We are so excited for our new couch! I have to edit this review. It was initially a 5 star and now it has to be a 1 star review. While the couch buying process was extremely easy. We are now over 4 weeks out and do not have a couch. We were told when we bought that 3w was standard but he was going to rush it for it since we were pregnant and needed a couch before December. We have called multiple times and were told that all of the pieces haven’t even been sent to the distribution center. There was no update at all until we called multiple times. Now they are pushing to the 2nd of December but absolutely no guarantee. If I would have known it was going to come to this and be this stressful I would have never bought from here.

Decided to buy a mattress from here a few weeks ago before the Hurricane hit. After the hurricane hit the delivery dates were postponed over and over until the point where they said they didn’t have a delivery date anymore (understandable). I called just to cancel the order because I needed a mattress and had no bed to sleep on. Couldn’t get very many answers and finally got ahold of a manager at this location. He told me that the refund was submitted and would be returned in full in 7-10 days. 11 days goes by. I call again today to find out that the store didn’t even put in the refund request and it had just been sitting there with no movement. The nice gentlemen from the main 1-800 number contacted the store for me and had them put in the refund request like they were supposed to do almost 2 weeks ago. I will now have to wait another possible 2 weeks to get my refund. This will potentially be going on almost a month of waiting for a refund because of people not doing what they promised me from the beginning of this. Will be shopping elsewhere for future purchases.

Honestly, I'm really disappointed, I ordered my sofa months ago in order for it to be delivered on a set date, at the time of ordered I was assured that that would happen and they even stated that you are all scheduled. Turns out that this was just a typical sales tool to get the sale, because now my sofa is getting delivered nearly a week after my original request. Quite frankly I only purchased that sofa because of the delivery date, if I had known that was a lie then I would have gone elsewhere.

Horrific experience. Go elsewhere. Bought a sideboard cabinet in January. First cabinet was damaged, Technician came out and fixed the top but was not able to square up the drawers to where they closed. They ordered drawers and he came out three more times. Finally they decided they would provide me with a new cabinet, but the first one they delivered the drawers would also not close. They brought another cabinet and it was damaged but at least the drawers closed. The technician was able to somewhat fix it, although it is not perfect and still has flaws. So, after seven days of rearranging my schedule, late deliveries, completely being inconvenienced with large boxes being delivered to my house, they made me an offer for compensation only to retract it five minutes later after they realized they were looking at the wrong order. I then received a smaller compensation and despite it being their error they would do nothing. The compensation was an insult and in no way covered seven deliveries and visits, multiple calls, and the total headache of the process. Absolutely poor the entire way through. If you don’t mind rearranging your schedule numerous times, receiving poor quality, furniture, and a complete lack of care then go ahead and buy your furniture here. If you value your time, want some thing that’s not damaged, and care to be treated properly then go elsewhere.

We visited yesterday and Will was very nice professional and friendly. Easy to get along with. Liked his great personality and attitude, Will moved pieces and looked at the inventory there and the online items. My wife was looking for dining table set. She ended up getting the complete dining room set including rugs, server, bookcases, The best part it’s that the local store operates independently from the corporate structure they can match the prices offered on line.

Our sales associate, Hytham Mobarak was very attentive to our needs. He was very kind and thoughtful and he was very thorough in going our paperwork.

I had in mind what I was looking for in furnature. I decided to check out the Ashely Store. I was greeted by Mr. B and I told him what I was looking for. He showed me several furnature selections and I tested them out. Mr B answered my questions and worked out an affordable financial plan for me. Next we selected a delivery date and he assured me any problems please contact me first. This was how customer service should be thank you Mr B great job!
