Looking for a new sofa for our bonus room and went to Ashley Furniture in MTP (SC). Greeted by Lamar who assisted us in looking at various sofa sizes and their options. He treated us very well and he was knowledgeable about their products. We ended up making a purchase for a sofa that is comfortable and covered in a fabric called Nuvella that is advertised as easy to maintain. Overall a great experience and good selection of furniture. My husband and I went into Ashley Furniture in Mount Pleasant, SC and we were greeted with extremely pleasant people!!! Lamar Ford was the salesperson that took care of us. He was very polite, pleasant, knowledgeable and didn’t pressure us. We needed to leave to measure the living room in which we wanted the furniture and we returned in about 45 minutes and Lamar was waiting for us and helped us determine EXACTLY what we needed; and we also decided to purchase a new kitchen set!!! We walked out purchasing a living room set and kitchen set due to the friendliness, knowledge and experience that Lamar has!!! I WILL be back and I WILL be asking for Lamar!! Meredith took care of checking us out and she was sooo pleasant and friendly…could have stayed there all day just talking with her. She also went over everything again on the bill. It was actually a pleasure to spend what we spent because of employees like that!!!!

Don’t waste your money!! The store is nice, the delivery is HORRIBLE. We spent $2,000 on a very nice dining table and chairs. The delivery kept being delayed because Ashley Furniture sent it to the wrong warehouse IN A DIFFERENT STATE for delivery. After speaking with the store manager about this mess up and expressing my severe displeasure, the table was magically able to be delivered the next day. The table arrived DAMAGED, as if they had just pulled it off the display floor and given us the floor model. I raised the issue with corporate and they were able to replace the table with a new one— how it should have been in the first place. Don’t give yourself a headache by dealing with this company.

After shopping in other stores with pushy sales people who didn't know their product well enough to answer simple questions it was refreshing to walk into Ashley. From being greeted at the door to leaving, it was a first class experience. Michelle Rodriguez helped us find the perfect set which wasn't easy because the room we were buying furniture for has some problematic architectural features to work around. She was awesome! We even showed Michelle a photo of the room when it belonged to the previous owners. We didn't know the sofa in the photo was from Ashley but she immediately knew identified it from a previous collection. Meredith helped us at checkout and was thorough in explaining the delivery process and a pleasure to chat with. One of the worst shopping experiences my wife and I have had. We were being stalked by the sales member throughout the whole store, with constant intrusions. We were bombarded by several different sales members whenever we looked at a piece of furniture or mattress. If you like the feeling of shopping at an auto dealership, than this is the place for you.

Horrible service! We bought a recliner from them. After sitting in it, we realized how cheap and horribly made. We called the store 2 days after delivery for an exchange. They said they didn’t accept exchanges. The receipt clearly states that they do. We asked for a manager to call us and he never did. We disputed the transaction with the bank.

From the moment I walked in the door, Michelle went above and beyond to help me pick out the perfect furniture. She answered all my questions, guided me through the options, and helped me find the ideal bedroom set. Her knowledge and patience made the whole experience enjoyable and stress-free. At checkout, Gabby was just as amazing—efficient, friendly, and helpful throughout the process. We had initially purchased a queen size sleeper sofa for our condo and failed to measure the size of the door and it did not fit. I returned to the store in Mount Pleasant and spoke to Michelle Rodriguez, who was extremely helpful and worked to get me a full-size sleeper sofa that fit our need perfectly. And they set up an emergency next day delivery this morning and the crew who delivered it we're also fantastic. Can't say enough about the whole Ashley furniture team and appreciate their efforts. We bought our couch here earlier in the year and returned to buy a nursery glider. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted and asked what brought us in. Frank did! The delivery team was on time and extremely energetic. They wasted no time in setting up things properly. Holton, J, and Ryan were exceptional. Post delivery I dealt with Greg and he was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. All in all an excellent experience.

Selection was right up our alley and staff were low pressure and super professional. Our rep Michelle was a rock star, once she understood our taste and needs she put together the deal and managed the logistics timeframe to meet our crazy schedules. Sara at the finance /checkout area was also exceptional. To top it all off, the delivery guys Michael, Matt and Joseph were outstanding. They showed up exactly as communicated, were extremely polite and professional and were overall just great young men. We just moved in and have had a lot of deliveries and setups and this experience was top of the list. We Will definitely be back with our next decorating phase needs.

Honestly, I have never been a big fan of the Ashely Furniture stores that I’ve visited and really dislike furniture sales shenanigans. The last time we did purchase furniture from Ashley, it was a complete disaster. This location, though, was such a refreshing experience from every aspect. Michelle is the most patient sales professional with so much knowledge, and it’s been such a privilege to be able to work with her. I walked in several weeks ago to look at living room furniture for my new place, and she spent over an hour of her time with me. Weeks went by and I went in again to look at more stuff and hear my name called out, I look over and there’s Michelle running from across the sales floor to help. Thanks so much for all your time and effort Michelle. It is truly appreciated.

My family and I visited two different Ashley locations. Once we got to the Mt. Pleasant store, Victor “The General” and his staff were excellent to work with. The store was clean and well-organized, and Victor was very knowledgeable about the furniture. It was definitely worth the drive, and we were able to find something that worked for our family.

First off we love the dresser we bought. But everything else not so much. The "white glove" delivery service tracked in mud. Shoved the invoice in my wife's face before they had even moved it to room and put it together. They backed into the new lawn that was growing very young new grass and was obvious since it had a covering of straw. Left big tread marks in the yard. Killed the grass. And somehow whacked a tree on the side of our driveway. My wife called the store and followed the protocol. Took pictures and gave details for a claim on the tree. It's part of our landscaping. The tree has been damaged and it's leaning at around a 30⁰ angle. After days of run around, agent accidentally not filing claim, and eye rolling on our part, I talked to the claim office and was told that since there was no video evidence and no damage to vehicle then there would be no claim. Basically called us liars. The tree was small so it would not have damaged the heavy duty box truck that hit it. But the damaged occurred to the tree and there is no other logical explanation for how that occurred. None. So we lose. Hopefully the tree will survive. We will never return to Ashley for anything in the future and tell anyone who will listen to don't bother with the "white glove"delivery service. It's a joke. Suck it Ashley Furniture

We have a bit of a chaotic schedule with moving and the upcoming holidays, and Sara has been so communicative and helped us get things scheduled accordingly to get our furniture before Thanksgiving. The service provided by Will Lopez on my purchase of a recliner was above and beyond. The chair I wanted had a rocking feature that I didn’t want. So Mr Lopez kept looking for the chair that would satisfy my need. And at a great price. He found the perfect chair for me. My experience with all the Ashley Mt P personnel was very pleasant. If I had been told my dresser was 1300.00 PLUS a tree, I would not have purchased it. I have waited over a week for any reply from Ashley over their driver (who can't drive) backing into a tree AFTER being told to back down the driveway. Obviously, he knew he couldn't drive, decided he couldn't handle backing down what he came up and chose to turn around. The driveway, that was created around that tree, now has that tree leaning/falling over. He didn't stop. Grace G told me to email photos..and I might not hear from them that day due to time. I called 4 days later, and was told she sent me an email that was kicked back...and to give it 72 hours for a response, though already past that...and still no word. See photos attached.

I have to give a huge shout out to Aly at the Mount Pleasant store location. She went above and beyond what she needed to do. I purchased a bed for my dad who is in assisted living. The delivery got delayed. Aly and her husband personally brought the bed to my dad and reimbursed us for the delivery fee. She was extremely helpful and calmed my anxiety of my dad not having a bed to sleep in. I will be forever grateful for her kindness and support during what was a very stressful time.

The local sale people were very nice and helpful, but the store's processes for checking out/purchasing items and then returning items was cumbersome and antiquated. It took 20 minutes and two different employees' to pay for 2 lamps. Then to return one lamp it took a store visit, a phone call, a 48 hour wait, and signing an e-receipt on a secure site to get reimbursed. I would not recommend shopping at Ashley Home Store because of this inefficiency.

Purchased furniture last year and paid for my order (received emails to confirm my card was charged). Now, a full year past the original purchase date. I'm being contacted by Ashley for an outstanding $65 that they forgot to charge my card for. Not great business practices and I don't recommend purchasing from this company (do some research and you'll see there are many others this has happened to).

I called and asked about the price and availability of Sidewinder chair. Sarah told me the chair was $319. (Same as listed online). She told me the gray one was in the floor and I could come pick up the chair. When I came the next day Jordon informed me that $319 was the price if you order and wait for delivery 2-6 weeks. If I wanted to buy the one in the floor it was $899. He would not honor what Sarah told me yesterday. So it’s almost triple to buy a sat in floor model than to order online. Will go buy chair elsewhere. And all of my furniture.

I went into Ashley furniture store today and Jordan. The store manager was wonderful. He didn’t try to oversell me. He understood what my budget was, and I left there satisfied.

Kristi was great and very helpful in the sales process and after we received our furniture. However, the middle beam support on our bed that we purchased broke and damaged our mattress in the process. They came and fixed the bed however, the support beam was still unsteady and our mattress was still damaged (there's a huge dip in the middle of the mattress). I acquired Greg Prosper's email (I'm assuming he's a manager) and he called me and I asked for a refund for the bed because we would have to buy a new bed and mattress. We talked on the phone March 28th and he said he would look at options for us. Exactly a week later on April 4th I still didn't hear from him and I sent him an email basically saying we were done because there was no action taken by Ashley Furniture. I thought there would be some response because I felt like we had a productive phone call but there was no response. Do not buy from Ashley Furniture. Their furniture is not high quality and if you have an issue management will not make it right. Attached is a picture of the broken support with our scrapbooks underneath to keep it stable (which prove to work better than their supports!!) UPDATE: The bed is fixed (again for the second time) after almost three weeks of trying to get someone to come to the house. If it’s broken twice since September, it will break again. Never offered a refund from management but we have to get a new bed and mattress because this will keep happening again because of poor quality furniture. Never EVER buying anything from Ashley ever again. Thanks a lot for ruining months of sleep and wasting our time and hard earned money!

Store staff are wonderfull but once they get your money it ends there after sale customer service is ridiculous ordered 2 recliners from them took 4 weeks for delivery which was expected however 1 recliner broke the 2nd day it took 10 more days for someone to come look at it qho was very unprofessional and acted like he did not want ro be there now its 3 weeks to fix it or 6 more weeks for a replacement putting the total time to get a functioning reclimer at 12 weeks after purchase and they will not refund anything all sales are final customer service was not rude they just refuse to do anything for you other than. The ridiculous times frames mentioned.

Work Ethics I failed to check every item on my invoice before signing it; model name and number. There was a major mistake, the salesperson instead admitting their mistake lied to the manager stating that was indeed my selection. I received the wrong set of sofa after several weeks, had to rebuy the correct one renegotiate the price etc. Terrible experience. Never going back to that store, hope never buying from them again.

Recently stopped by this store to research their selection of Purple mattresses as we visited a Purple store in Denver, CO to get an idea of pricing. We had an email from the Purple store and wanted to compare. A sales person spent two hours with us that afternoon selling us this product. When it came time to look at the bottom line, it was obvious we were not on the same page. We provided our email from The Purple Store (via cell phone). The stickler was a military discount (which The Purple Store gives to military, first responders, nurses and firefighters). It just so happened the regional manager was visiting the store and was called into the discussion. He was willing to give us the discount (after proving my status as a veteran). Things looked pretty good at this point. We set a time for the next day to finalize the sale…until the sales person reminded us to provide him with a copy of the email from The Purple Store. We reminded him that he reviewed the figures from the email but he stated he “saw something but was not sure”. When we looked for the email, it had been mysteriously deleted. To say the least, this did not set well. Needless to say, we did not make the purchase nor will we ever do business with this store again.

Very helpful and friendly salesman, Jordan Beck, helped us on 3/2/2023 at Mt Pleasant SC Wando Crossing location. We purchased a bedroom set to match a bed purchased at a competitor. We had such a horrible experience with a competitor and their inept delivery dept breaking pieces of furniture. We had waited almost 10 months for some items. We cancelled remaining orders with competitor. Purchased furniture from Jordan at Ashley furniture. Amazingly our order is scheduled for delivery in just 6 days from the purchase. We are very happy right now. Thank you Jordan. Will never recommend that competitor to anyone. Buy from Ashley furniture. They provide actual customer service and have some beautiful furniture for you.

STELLAR CUSTOMER SERVCE FROM VICTOR - THE GENERAL!!! I had an amazing bed shopping experience in Mt Pleasant with Victor - aka "The General". Victor provided stellar patient service with me. He had all the appropriate answers with the why's on the bed differences. Enormous knowledge... Buying a mattress and in this case a Tempur-Pedic was a big investment and I made several trips.. I will say the Rooms To Go tried to get my business but I couldn't say no to Victor.

Four-and-a-half really! Store is new, clean, and has some really cool furnishings. We were there for a recliner that reclines 180 degrees. Ashley has a number of different styles to choose. Kenny Walker was great; knowledgeable, not pushy, and went for answers when he wasn't sure. We will return when we need other furnishings.

Kenny Walker was exceptional!!! i didnt mind the 20 min. drive to Mt. Pleasant to purchase my furniture from him. Preston was very knowledgeable about the recliners, and recommended a great restaurant to go eat. Greg the manager was friendly and next time maybe there will be some candy/ peppermint patties for the customers

My family and I were looking to furnish our new home. Upon entering the store we were Immediately, greeted by Preston and shortly after Victor. Both men were extremely knowledgeable about each furniture piece we were interested in. Preston and Victor were both very patience and attentive. Victor was very personable and Preston was very considerate of our needs. Both of them made this usually exhausting experience, immensely enjoyable.

I highly recommend Mrs Karen from Ashley 17 Highway in Mount Pleasant! I was looking for a new set of tables and Karen helped me, she is the most incredible person, super kind, patient, she knows a lot about furniture styles and goes with you and helps you to find all the furniture you are dreaming at! Had a great experience! I had a lot of living room ideas saved on Pinterest, and 95% of the couches in them were from Ashley so we decided to go see everything in person. All of the staff were wonderful to work with, especially Preston who helped us measure out what would fit in our living room the best. He showed us every option in the design we described we wanted, and was extremely patient/helpful with me going back and forth over what would work. The store has a HUGE selection and everything we knew we were interested in online was of course on display at the store, but there were also so many other options I hadn’t considered as well. I’m so glad I didn’t try to buy online without seeing everything in real life because what I thought I wanted would not have worked for us at all! Definitely recommend making Ashley your first stop for furniture shopping!

This place had many pieces of furniture to see in person. I really liked the styles and how clean the store was. The sales person Corley was very informative and patient with my kids and I. He gave them squishies that looked like mattresses. We will be back when it is time to purchase and be asking for Corley to help us with that transaction!
