We’re about a mile east of the Coastal Grand Mall and just off the 17. We’re also about 2 ½ miles away from the beach. If you’re driving in on the E 501, you’ll turn right at the E 501/Frontage Road intersection (we’re the first right after the light at E 501/Seaboard Street). If you’re driving in on 10th Avenue, you’ll turn left at the Frontage Road/10th Avenue intersection (across from the Jiffy Lube).

Very disappointed in there scheduling, my furniture was supposed to be delivered today. I ordered two pieces. When they called yesterday, they told me that they were delivering both pieces today when the truck showed up, they only had one piece of furniture on there for my delivery. Spoke with a person who did the scheduling and he stated that he’s sorry he messed up told him how dissatisfied I was and someone from corporate called and said the other piece of furniture has not even shipped from the manufacturer. So as of now, no delivery date for second piece. I removed my old furniture from the house because they told me that they were being delivered today so now left with no furniture except for one chair.
I dealt with a young woman named Mia Floyd She was very knowledgeable and kind with no pressure. I purchased a mattress because of her salesmanship

From the moment we walked in, the staff at Ashley were so kind and helpful. Mia, our salesperson, listened and knew just where to direct my mom and I to find the right sofa for her. We had a 5 star experience with Mia F. and the customer service team. Love our sectional and end tables and are very pleased with purchase and delivery. Wait time was approximately two weeks.
It's my first and definitely the last time I will buy anything here. I purchased a bed in July. I asked if the was sturdy and I was yes and that it's a good buy. From the day it was install all I can get is noise. I had to go and buy boards to reenforces it because my mattress was going down in holes. Don't even mention the screws kept falling out, because they were short. I called and told them about it,they sent out a bunch of adjustments kits and said someone would come and looked at it. He did came and nothing could done about it. I got a faulty bed and now I have to keep paying for it , because they will not take it back or exchanged it.

I bought a bedroom suit from MIA FLOYD in August in the Myrtle Beach store and she is an exceptional salesperson! I told her what I had in mind, my budget, when I needed it and she checked all the boxes. She was not pushy at all and I loved her personality. I could not have been happier with her help! She should be acknowledged as a wonderful asset to the store. I will return to the store and seek her out for future purchases. 5 stars to Mia!
The front people are very nice and try to help you. The frustrating part is everything has to be ordered. Nothing is in stock. And if it's on sale you cannot have it delivered a little frustrating the delivery fees are too high in my opinion especially considering all the competition they have around them.

I bought some furniture about 5 months ago and until today they haven't arrived, I call the store and they don't answer anymore, I go to the store and there's always an excuse that it will arrive next month

I still need my porch fixed ... When customer service Jody called to inform me that I have a hole in my son's porch. I was stunned to find out the delivery men reported dropping a bedframe though my porch.. that was Feb 8 2024.. today is May 19th 2024 .. the porch is falling apart and I find out alll this time .. it's not getting repaired. I have been with 4 customer service reps and nothing got done ... But they did come back to pick up the beat up broken bed frame as a courtesy.. so is my broken porch a courtesy also? They lost transcripts and keep telling me I called them to tell them about the hole in my porch but they called me ..I stated this fact because Jody called me to explain how and why i have a broken porch... Since Jody quit ... I get screwed into a broken porch and they conveniently lost that phone call .. I wonder is that a courtesy also? .. my child waited over 90 days to get a refund when it's supposed to be ten days... I guess that's a courtesy too... I wish I could post pictures of the porch so you can see the condition of it because it's a trampoline now and can't be used ... My son bought this home in July 2023... All deliveries are now stopped because of Ashley furniture. No table no chairs no nothing at all in the home... Thanks a lot Ashley furniture.....
Please save yourself a lot of trouble and do not order from this store. Chris the assistant manager offers no help. They do not tell you the truth and just want a sale. I purchase furniture for homes and this is the worst experience I have ever had. Go anywhere else if you know what is good for you.

Refused to accept 2 mattresses for delivery. Holding me hostage until next week and they are open! Then kicked me off the property! Don't deliver here! And smiled in my face as she was refusing to take the 2 mattresses.

I found the sales manager Chris to be overbearing, rude,and disrespectful. While trying to help us find what we wanted, he was directing his sales staff to do things. It felt like we were bothering him just by asking questions.I won't be back!!

We purchased a couch, loveseat, and recliner from Tammy Gosnell in February. She was wonderful to work with especially after having a negative experience at the Shallotte, NC store. We went back to Tammy because of her kind, helpful, non- pushy way in conducting sales transactions. We would not hesitate to buy from Tammy again.
Nic choices but what we went for only had a display and on order. We asked about buying the display as we needed something now but the manager wouldn't sell it even though it had some scratches and chips. A little disappointed as we were willing to pay full price if necessary. Also website says free delivery and store wants 39.95 to deliver. Ordered one and told would be a couple of days and now going to be a good bit longer.
The sales person, Chris, was extremely helpful. We placed our order and that went very smoothly. Awaiting delivery.

We were in search of a new living room and bedroom set for our new place, as soon as we walked in Deborah greeted us respectfully and was kind enough to give us great information on the products we were looking at. She was very knowledgeable and patient with us, unfortunately she couldn’t hang out with us, she had a prior engagement to attend for her daughter but left us in good hands with Kenny, who was also wonderful. He knew his stuff and was very patient and respectful throughout the whole process. We enjoyed our experience and would recommend anyone who is looking for furniture to come see Kenny and Deborah. My salesman Chris was great, but that was where the good experience ended. I ended up walking out because of their inability to take my payment in a timely fashion. An employee should not tell a customer to go sit down and we’ll call you when we’re ready to take your payment. There were zero other customers at the large checkout counter. And when you reply, after already sitting and waiting for several minutes, that you don’t want to be told to sit down and just want to pay, the same employee says that I would be making the cashier nervous because I’m hovering rather than sitting down! Hovering? I was at least 10 feet away from the person that finally was going to help me. A customer should never feel like they are doing you a favor by buying something and waiting until you are ready for them to pay - HORRIBLE customer service.

I usually don't leave many reviews but absolutely felt the need to! I arrived the other day at the Ashley store just to get some ideas for my kids and I for our future home. I first met Christine M And she was super sweet and helpful! After a while of walking around I got to also deal with Jim D who was also a huge help and neither of them made me feel rushed or pushy like some places make you feel. After lots of looking around with 3 young ones they started to get a little hungry and she even gave them a little snack to cheer them up! I would absolutely recommend going to this store and cannot wait to deal with them a whole lot more! Thank you both again 💓 we will be seeing you soon!

Excellent value and good quality - 5 stars. I purchased it in the store via online photos, and the furniture, when delivered, exceeded my rxp expectations. I've purchased from Ashley before in Florida. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is due to the salesperson not following up on my delivery, which was 4-5 weeks late. I understand there are priduction issues. Please just follow up. The manager, I think his name is Chirs, was great and helped resolve my issue. The delivery team was 5 stars!

From the sales lady (Deborah Lopes) to the delivery men, our whole experience with Ashley's Furniture was wonderful! Ans, it's not the first time we bought excellent furniture and were treated very, very well. Wouldn't think of going anywhere else for our furniture needs.
When they try to sell you furniture saying you can exchange it if anything happens to it, it is just a sales tactic to sell you the item. Their exchange department does not believe in exchanges and will do everything in their power not to do it. No idea why they have this 'exchange at anytime ' policy to begin with.
Deborah was wonderful as I told her I knew exactly what wanted, but then she showed me the dressers I wanted in a grey option which I didn't see on line. I really liked it and she placed my order, added delivery and protection. She also emailed me with delivery and is coming in sooner than anticipated. Deborah was courteous and knowledgeable about product. I would recommend her to friends and family.

Not very good inventory
I worked with Brian Zipay on a new couch purchase. This was the second round of furniture shopping with him & he’s incredible! Knowledgeable, trustworthy, not pushy, and ensured the couch would fit & look nice. He answered all of my questions & made sure the delivery happened quickly. If you go to Ashley Furniture, ask to work with Bryan. You’ll be so grateful you did!
We purchased a sofa, loveseat, wdge and recliner January 2023. The sofa is already worn out even though there is only my husband and myself in the house. I last called for service on the sofa and they added stuffing but he didn't replace the seat even though it was sent to me. He said it didn't need it and now it really looks worn. I've had nothing but disappointment with this set. I am a life long customer who had recommended my son and brother in law to them and now I'm sorry they got the businesses because being told it's normal wear and tear just means it's poor quality. Buyer be ware...the products made in Vietnam are not worth buying and this customer received no satisfaction from shopping Ashley.
This place is By far the worst store and company ever they try to keep your money to point where several people including my self has to dispute charges on our CC I will never ever give Ashley my business and to anyone thinking of do business with this place think again.they claim to have to get corporate to approve refund it could take days or weeks the girls at the desk are rude and nasty this place is a joke thank goodness I got proof my money was coming back to me because these people would kept it for sure and the furniture was on back order . And the salesman flat out lied the night we tried getting a new bedroom set he said we get that week I waited two weeks until I started questioning it where it was . Wow this place is something else go on the neighbor site there's others saying they did the same to them.to many better furniture stores to get furniture from and great customer service than to deal with a dishonest company like Ashley I am finding more and more folks that this company has done this to maybe we should contact Ed from local news to warn consumers about there tactics against the consumers and with the way economy is shame on Ashley!!!! Thank god I got Citi bank who protects there customers.

My wife and I had a great experience picking out new living room furniture recently, and the deciding factor for us to buy here versus somewhere else was the amazing salesperson we had, Sherena Shaw. We had been to several other stores before stopping here, dealing with what is often typical in a furniture store, a "used car " type salesperson that tells you what you want to hear and tries everything they can to keep you from walking out the door without buying something. Sherena treated us like we were real people, listened to our needs, and even played along when we would make silly jokes about some of the names of the furniture. She gave us space to look around, but was always ready to answer any of our questions. When we told her we needed to go home and measure our space and think about this purchase, she didn't push the sale on us knowing we weren't ready. When we were ready we made sure to come back while she was working because we didn't want to deal with anyone else. If you are looking for furniture here, make sure to ask for Sherena.
Looking at the furniture with the sales person and her guiding us to things that we told her we wanted was a pleasure. Christine was knowledgeable and we were excited about our purchase. However, I was very disappointed with the paperwork which took an hour. Then we call the about delivery. Some of the products won’t be in stock until the end of November which is not what we were told in the store

I purchased a bunch of furniture from Ashley in 2021. My salesman told me it was going to show up in 4-6 weeks and ended up taking 6 months. The seam ripped on the cushion recently and I put in a warranty claim for it. The warranty company called me and told me the claim was denied because they do not cover rips. The salesman at the time told me that the warranty covers any type of damage no matter what happens. I will never buy another piece of furniture from you guys again.
Beautiful store with great selection and quality furniture for every room, as well as thoughtful and innovative features on individual pieces. Everyone was very friendly, from the front desk to the manager. We met our salesperson, Deborah, upon walking in, and she quickly shared her knowledge of everything we asked about from mattresses to dining tables and everything in between. There was not one question we asked that she wasn’t able to answer quickly, thoroughly, and in a way we could understand. She was friendly and enthusiastic, and we would recommend her, as well as this store specifically, to anyone!

So my wife and I went to Ashley in Myrtle Beach earlier this year and put some livingroom furniture on layaway and out down $550. Due to circumstances beyond our control we were unable to complete the purchase in the allotted time. I went into the store today thinking I had a $550 credit so was going to complete the purchase on something more in value. When i went to the counter the girl informed me the layaway was cancelled which I suspected. She then told me we have no credit that we forfeit the credit per agreement. these sales reps dont explain the agreement so you put your faith in them ( bad on me that won't happen twice.) They move along so fast that they dont even allow enough time. SO I asked about getting the credit to apply to a larger purchase as we didnt want the cash back. The lady beyond the counter was beyond rude about it repeating its in the paperwork. I explained our situation and she didny even try to resolve the issue or offer solution just basically pound salt in rude tone. So I decided we wont purchase there anymore and told her they would be hearing from the lawyer. Not sure it will go anywhere however there has to be some protection. Forget about the lawyer even where is the " Customer satisfaction" "Customer is always right" or even basic human decency. I am in sales and I am huge on a perfect customer experience and meeting or exceeding customers expectation. This is a poorly run store never have I ever been treated to poorly. Not only were we buying much higher dollar amount this would have turned into whole house gradual upgrade. Now not only will I never go back I will be sure to let people know about my experience and send them someplace much more customer friendly. Again we werent asking for money back just an upgrade in the sale price. Most other businesses would have been happy to have that sale. Hope that woman gets reprimanded for the way she treats people. As we walked in the door, we were met by a saleswoman. We needed new couches. After looking at several, and sitting in them, we chose our couches. The problem. We would pay for them immediately but they would not be delivered for thirteen weeks. I wish I would have stayed at Americas furniture. I will wait until our bathroom is redone. Then it wii be the anger of Joan. Would I come back here? After I look at all the other furniture stores.

Today's visit to Ashley Furniture was such a pleasant experience because of my wonderful sales rep. I had the pleasure of working with Deborah Lopes. She greeted me instantly with a big smile and an inviting approach. Deborah was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and extremely helpful. As soon as I explained the reason for my visit, she politely and quickly led me to the area of dining tables. Ashley Furniture had several options I could use. Deborah didn't rush me or push me to make a quick decision. She allowed ample time to sit in various chairs and try out bar stools. Ashley Homestore has the best selection of furniture, I had to look no more after coming to this store and found a perfect bedroom set and mattress. Dawna Stone was amazing with assisting me through the process!!
I purchased an entire bedroom set. We were talked into an adjustable mattress and frame. I was told that that frame would fit correctly into the king sized bed that was purchased. When all the pieces were finally delivered ( different delivery times), the delivery team set everything up. When we used the adjustable frame the screws that were meant to hold the slats tore the fabric on both sides of the foundation! Obviously, the bed and frame are not compatible!! After many phones calls to the store and corporate, they told us there are no refunds. They replaced the adjustable frame, but there are screw holds in the side rails! Looks horrible!! The nightstands that supposedly have phone chargers in them, do not work with iPhones… waste of money… Customer service is horrible! There is no such thing as customer satisfaction at Ashley Furniture. After spending many thousands of dollars there, I am highly disappointed and would never recommend them to anyone!

I purchased a new mattress from Costco, which will be delivered on the 31st. They only had a 7” low profile box spring and I wanted a 5”. I goggled what I wanted and Ashley Furniture popped up with exactly what I wanted. So I called the store and was given Deborah to assist me. She was prompt in giving me my two size options for my king bed, their respective prices and said she could get it ordered today. I appreciate her courteous manner and diligence to get my box spring ordered today.

We just bought a 2nd house in Myrtle, needed a lot of furniture. Using web site, we were able to narrow down our choices. Myrtle beach store was nice, good job show casing furniture. Donna with assist for Chris, her manager got us thru the stressful process. Please considering upgrading tech to give sales people iPads that they can scan and add to a shopping cart in store. Current process is painful. After we made initial purchase, we added more remotely. Chris was helpful. Movers showed up 10 minutes early for time but timing was perfect. They were really hard working, showing a great degree of care and concern for us. Zero damage to house and furniture arrived is perfect condition. Very happy we went to Ashley’s and glad Donna and Chris were our representatives. We have a few more rooms to complete, we will be back.

My wife and I came into the store in Myrtle Beach and picked out a whole set that we thought we wanted. It was late the night we went in and Tobin was a great help. 3 years ago we bought a sofa sleeper and loveseat and other things. We paid for a 4 year Warranty. The couch is definitely not worth the money. It looks like a 10year old peice of furniture and the sofa bed needed to be repaired and by the time they contact you and then set up a date to repir it, it will be 4 months. I wouldn't go back

Had a terrible experience with the sales managers. After spending over $3000. They were complete snakes in the grass. Worst consumer experience I've ever had. They were great up until they got my money. I would not recommend them to anyone. Personally will never return. There only saving grace is the delivery team. Which by the way is a 3rd party company.

Came here in December to look at mattresses and the sales manager Chris showed me Tempur -pedic mattresses. They hide the price and once you fall in love with them they show you it costs $3-4000. But don't worry because they have a 90 day guarantee. But if that is not in your budget we have an Ashley store brand similar for only $1000. He takes you over to show you and it feels ok so you order it. They deliver it and set it up and the first night it's like sleeping on a board. You call the store and they tell you that there is no trial period but it should break in after 30 days. B.S. Still hard. It conforms to your body but its just as hard. This is the most uncomfortable mattress we have ever bought and slept on. So disappointed. We planned on furnishing our whole house from there but will never return. STAY AWAY!

We came in looking for a sofa. Our salesman Kenny Fisher was very informative ,allowing us to look on our own but was close enough to answer any questions we had. My husband and I had a very pleasant day shopping for dining room furniture. Met Mike a salesman when we walked in told him what we were looking for and he told us where to look. There was no high pressure sales, which we loved. When we needed to ask questions he was there to help us. Mike is very pleasant, easy to talk to and helpful.

I purchased a power reclining love seat in early Nov 2022. The original delivery came in with some manufacturing issues. The arm padding was 'bowed' and the stitching was not clean. Also one of the back panels was very crooked! The delivery guys said that I had to call customer care because they could not take it back. I called to complain, sent in photos, and was told that they wanted to repair the chair. They sent some fabric to my home and later a Tech to fix it. When the tech arrived, he said that they did not sent the right stuff to fix this issue. I called customer care back and insisted on them sending me a new love seat because I should not have to repair when it is brand new. While waiting for the new replacement, the power button casing came out of the chair and is now broken! The new one arrived today, unwrapped or boxed! When it came into my home, the driver took photo's. When he went outside with my old one, I looked over the chair and specifically tried the power button cover. It came off and broke! I refused the delivery and called customer care. They said that the chair was received without damage! I did not receive the chair!! I have on the phone with them trying to get a refund. They say all sales are final! Well no one told me that! I am waiting for a callback on what their next step of action would be? I do not want another one sent! I am not a happy camper and will never shop at Ashley Home Furniture ever again!

We had a nice enjoyable experience at Ashely. Stacy did a great job of being informative but not overbearing. The worst part of furniture shopping is when someone grabs you at the door and follows you around the whole time. We didn't feel over encumbered during our experience. Once we decided what we liked, Stacy stepped in to give us the relevant info. The truth is we don't normally shop at Ashely. They tend to be on the higher end of the price scale however we found they had some really nice and unique pieces this time around. We are very happy with our new table

WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY SHOPPING LIFE!! I purchased an item that apparently was not being sold by ashley..... order placed 9/19 my card was charged then i found out the item is on back order. I finally receive the item 10/2. Ashley has run a "pending charge " on my card every single Monday since ..When I call to have them resolve the issue I get no results. Nothing....they are going to fix and call me back, they are going to escalate and call me back, no manager is available to speak to me but they will call me back. I assure you none of this has happened. When I attempted to record the conversation and alerted them as required by state law they refused to speak and told me they will not until i acknowledge the recording is stopped. What a way to treat customers. Appalling. Never ever will shop with Ashley again. BUYER BEWARE!!!!
If I could give 6 stars I would. After confusion from my first trip there, Tobin, one of the managers completely changed my experience at Ashley. I could not be HAPPIER with the service there. Tobin really went above and beyond for me and my boyfriend. Will always recommend. Thanks Tobin!!!!!

I have been sectional window shopping for the past few weeks. I thought I was completely prepared to make a purchase when I finally went into the store. Turns out I had more questions. Thankfully, the associate that greeted us, Kenny, was knowledgeable and on top of his game. He was able to answer all of my questions and help me pick out the perfect furniture for our living room. He was not pushy and very polite, he even walked the floor and found the ottoman I was looking for. He explained the entire process in detail and was so helpful. Great experience!

Thomasina at the Myrtle Beach store helped me get my mattress. She was exceptional in her knowledge, professionalism and patience.
For over 3 months we have been trying to get a resolution to a mattress purchased for my daughter. Mattress in store does not compare to the one we received and is way too hard. We have been calling since the day mattress was delivered. No exchange or return. They do not tell you this at time of purchase. After spending over 4,500 in store they simply say "you signed the contract". Think long and hard before purchasing from them. They just want your money and don't care about customer satisfaction! Horrible experience.....

I would love to give 5 stars because Kenny was so awesome to deal with but whoever they use to set up delivery is awful. We ordered furniture to be delivered and paid for set up. They arrived and said they were supposed to drop off only but there paperwork along with ours showed setup. They said they would have to take back to warehouse put together and possibly could bring back next day. We couldn’t take chance because we were leaving town so my husband and I spent the whole day putting together 3 sets of bedroom furniture. The guys that delivered were very nice I assume it’s whoever is setting up delivery that made mistake. In any case we lost trust in company and purchased the rest of furniture elsewhere.

This review is specifically for the customer service I received in store. Thomasina helped me select a beautiful couch and love seat combo and was so personable and fun to chat with. She made the whole process so easy and I was happy to purchase with her! Now, reading these reviews, I am a little nervous seeing what a hard time people are having with delivery dates. I actually read someone's review saying she promised them a 2-3 week delivery time frame (but usually arrives sooner) which is exactly what I was told for my pieces. Today is Oct 6 so I'll update my review once and if I get my furniture. Crossing my fingers bc it sounds like it's a nightmare to get anything resolved!
Spent a good amount of money in there, my dog literally barked twice in there and someone yelled “we can’t have barking in here” and then another rude comment right after that was said but I won’t mention that one. Our salesman was great no complaints, checkout took a very long time not the friendliest staff seems like a lot smug attitudes with unhappy faces that work there.
Staff are quite helpful. No pressure to buy. You can meander the store at your leisure.
I have been buying furniture since last year when I moved to myrtle beach . I stayed with Tomasina.. she is wonderful and goes above and beyond to make sure you get the best out of every promo and furniture for your needs..The furniture did take many months to come but not at the fault of the store. I do agree though that they should contact the customer every few months to let them know the status incase you need to make a change and cancel . I recently went back to make another purchase ..

Poor. Customer service a lot of passing the buck. I bought a sofa from them I bought the 4 year protection package got the rim around with that I sent pics several times. Then they finally got it cleaned. But the spots came back more pics were sent and finally after many months they agreed to replace the couch. I was told it would be picked up on a Tuesday then it was a Thursday. Then they called and said the delivery truck broke done I blew my top I lost pay for taking the afternoon off I told the agent I didn't care not my problem get it figured out and get me my couch today by 430 as promised. I will NEVER. Purchase from them again.absolutely horrible customer service experience!
Great selection, poor service… we were looking at one of the sofas online for months and just bought a house so we came to see it in person. Not even one person came up to us nor helped us, the man with the tattoos really likes his chair and cellphone but apparently not helping customers. Taking my business somewhere else, thanks!
If I could have picked zero, I would have. We had the WORST customer experience ever. 2 different sales people told us we could return a table if it didn’t go with our decor. Well it didn’t go and surprise NO RETURNS. Now we are stuck with a table that doesn’t match. Maybe some training might help.

We are moving to Myrtle beach at the end of this month. Last may we ordered some furniture from your store. We put 25% down as we where to,d if we pay it in full it would need to be delivered in two weeks. So we waited until today to pay off the amount owed. Speaking with Rachael Lenard we where told that only a portion of our order would be there when we where to move in. The bedroom set was a major piece missing. Racheal made some calls swooshed her manic wand and got most of our order being delivered when we get there. How I wish I could get this kind of kindness and great customer service in any other dealings with companies. You need to know and acknowledge employees that go over and above to keep you customers happy thus keeping them loyal. Racheal is one of these types of employee that I as a past employer would have hired in a second. Thanks Racheal, you are the hero!
This is an update to my previous review. Ashley contacted me & did give me a credit for the price of the previously purchased loveseat. We have since ordered a new loveseat with that credit! I thank Ashley & we're keeping our fingers crossed for better results!
Wow! Where do I begin? Tessa Van-Riper is a rock star!! From the moment I walked in, she greeted me and listened to my plan for design in my home, looked at my style, and helped me choose the perfect table and chairs for my space. I am 26, and most of the time people my age are judged or turned down. It’s sadly an automatic assumption that we don’t have money, or are wasting time. (I did pay in full, so no financing there) Tessa never pre-judged and really got to know me. I call it creating the repore with a customer. Just a wonderful experience! And what made it even better, was that I had such a great experience that even waiting a year for furniture didn’t phase me. I don’t live here primarily and my parents own a beach house in North Myrtle. It was worth the 3 hour drive from Raleigh, just for the experience alone. I truly believe that Tessa has a natural gift for design and creating a catered experience, and I hope Ashley can recognize her for that and use her in a role where she continues to shine. Y’all truly made customer service top notch and I am so satisfied with my purchase, that I’ll be buying bar stools for my kitchen next. 😁 Thanks again! PS: Even the dock loading people are super nice too!
I had been window shopping around for a mattress for quite a while and in late May 2022 I finally decided to get serious about my search. I looked around all over the place, including Ashley Furniture. With my search at Ashely I was lucky enough to come across a salesman named Austin Zink. Austin was very kind, easy to talk to and did NOT pressure me into anything I was (or wasn't) looking for. But something I appreciated the most about his service, was how humble he was. He admittedly said that he was new to Ashley and didn't want to give me any false information, so he quickly called over colleagues to help assist us both with my search. However I did not make a purchase that day. Austin understood that I was shopping around and still wasn't "sold" on any mattress just yet. So I shopped around. And shopped some more. And went in/out of Ashely several times, bringing my husband with me, to ensure I was narrowing things down "correctly" (I'm a little OCD). On July 24th (after getting some personal items situated) I stopped in Ashley to make my purchase but unfortunately Austin was out that day. Of course there were other salespeople there to assist me, but I told them that I would come back when Austin was there. That over the past 2 months Austin had been so dedicated to me and my search, that I wanted to be sure to show him the same kind of dedication. I left and came back a few days later to make my purchase with Austin. Now I didn't make a purchase for a $5,000 mattress or anything, but Austin treated me as though my little sale was just as important as a $10,000 sale, and that was a great feeling! As long as Austin is at Ashley, I'll be sure to ask for him each and every time.
Thanks to Sherena for all her help today. She was very helpful and personable. She did not hover, but was available for any questions when we narrowed down our selection. Very good experience!

Today is 7/21/2022 and I have no furniture from a sales order of 12/3/2021 was given estimated delivery 12-15 weeks. Still awaiting a refund as I’ve had to go out and purchase furniture elsewhere. Would not recommend.

It’s been 6 months and not satisfied with my purchase. Bought a brand new couch for nearly $2,000 and the thing constantly creaks loudly whenever someone sits down. I’ve tried different things to fix it but I think the frame may be cracked. Very disappointed with the quality!
I am waiting NINE MONTHS for a bedroom set that is made in NC which is next to my home state of SC. Pathetic!

You couldn’t pay me to buy from Ashley again. Ordered a bedroom set in August 2021 and was told November delivery would be worst case scenario. Here we are almost in July 2022 and every month since December I have to call them for an update, only to be told EACH TIME that it’s now scheduled for “next month”. If I knew it would be a YEAR OR MORE to receive what I purchased I would have gone somewhere else. And I get the whole supply/logistics chain issue complicates things and creates unforeseen delays. It’s rather the complete and total lack of communication about it. If you’re going to take peoples money but not deliver the product, the LEAST you could do is create a system to proactively keep them abreast of the delays. Total joke.
ONLINE ORDER (not the store) - DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!! I have NEVER been so frustrated and angry. I ordered a full condo's worth of furniture, it's available and they have it "reserved" but I can't get anyone to schedule delivery. Why? Because on top of the $279 they charged me for delivery already I have to pay another $600 ransom fee or they won't deliver. Out of route they say, but won't schedule the delivery until I pay the ransom...only no one can tell me how to pay. I tried to cancel but it will cost me just as much in cancellation and restocking fees so I am now left with 0 choice but to give into my blackmailers.
It took 5 months for my furniture. I still not receive everything. At that time I cancelled the rest of my order and they gauged me on the price. Due to me cancelling. I will not shop with them again.
They had exactly the beautiful furniture we were looking for. Salesman was the perfect balance of helpfulness and leaving you alone to run the recliners up and down. He seemed to magically appear just when we wanted him.

Ordered from Ashley twice. The first time in California it took OVER 6 months to get everything after they assured us 6-8 weeks. Guess we didn’t learn, we tried again in Myrtle Beach and had to cancel after 5 months as they keep pushing the date back and they want all the money up front. VERY POOR BUSINESS MODEL.
Didn't learn from our previous experience. Twice we have ordered furniture and we're told 6-8 weeks. The first time when we were in California it took over 6 months to get everything and recently from the Myrtle Beach store we had to cancel our order after 5 months because they would keep pushing the delivery back. Beware if they tell you 8-10 weeks most likely it we'll be 8-10 months.
I purchased a bed in February and the delivery date continues to get pushed back. I knew it would take longer due to COVID, but at this point I don’t even want the bed and would never recommend anyone to purchase from them.

If I could give it No stars I would! Bought a couch with 2 chair & 1/2 ‘s with ottomans. Worst furniture I ever bought! After delivery there was a rip in the back of the couch, when they came out to replace the backing I saw first hand the inside of my couch - it was made with FlakeBoard!!! Also told the guy there was a squeak on the one side, he said they just “forgot” to put in a 2x2 inch piece of wood in a spot! We also asked about the front arm piece having wrinkles and was told that is just “cardboard”!! This furniture is ONLY 2 1/2 months old and the ottomans look so worn and have dips! The couch is So Uncomfortable! It all looks like it’s 10 years old already and it’s only 2 of us! Definitely NOT the Ashley Furniture it used to be!

The entire experience was negative.Eight weeks to get our furniture. Then when we received the piece it didn’t fit in our space. I contacted Customer Service four times and no one ever got back with me. I was told I couldn’t return the piece after It was delivered. Totally unprofessional and I would think twice about buying furniture there.

We were building a new home and purchased $9,000.00+ worth of furnitures April, 2021 giving ample time for furnitures to be available since the salesperson Cassey said it will take about 3-4 months. September/October supposed to have some partial deliveries but we moved the date. January 27, 2022 Ashley made partial delivery - 3 queen beds with headboards and sofa. The love seat, dining and recliner not ready yet. The remaining orders have tentative dates when they will be ready except the love seat. Went to the store and expressed our concern about the loveseat. What if the loveseat is discontinued? The manager told us to contact customer care. I called costumer care and told me that the salesperson -Cassey will contact us in 48 hrs. This time I was starting to lose my patience. I informed her that Cassey doesn't work there anymore and that I don't appreciate being bounced around like a basketball. Plus I told her that the sofa that was just delivered was falling apart. The metal frame at the back of the sofa was sticking out and 2 nails were out . I found this out because I cut my finger when cleaning the back of the sofa. And on the other side, nails are starting to come out. So much for quality. Customer care asked that I send some pics and I did.48 hours lapsed and no calls or emails so I called the store and spoke to Rachelle. She told me that the loveseat is discontinued. I informed her that we don't want the sofa then. My husband and I went to the store to settle things out. Thanks to Rachelle.It was really a nightmare dealing with Ashley. Buyers beware. If you want quality furnitures right away or in a short period of time, then look somewhere else. Never again will I deal or purchase anything at this store. Lesson learned.

Bought living room furniture to replace broken stuff purchased there 2 1/2 years ago. They stood behind the furniture warrantee 100%, without any difficulty or hesitancy.. Tomeika was fantastic.
Just had the extreme pleasure of working with Sherena on my recent purchases. She was highly focused on my needs and willing to make alternative suggestions if she felt the product may not meet my expectations. Sherena made my purchase enjoyable and fought to get me what I wanted under the right terms. A 5 Star commitment from beginning to end. My mattress and box springs were to arrive in 5 - 6 weeks, however showed up at my doorstep in a matter of 5 days from date of purchase. Doug and Trey handled the delivery and were thorough, professional and very courteous. Great team effort all around.
When buying they tell you 6-12 weeks and ends up being 5-6 months. Don't lie to get a sale. Tell the truth and you wouldn't have so many upset customers
My wife and I paid for a king size bedroom package in full on August 25th 2021 . We still do not have the furniture as of 1/14/2022 and the communication from the store has been terrible. We are extremely disappointed with Ashley Furniture UPDATE: I spoke with the manager from the Myrtle Beach store . He contacted me after my initial comment was made . As of 2/10/2022 we still DO NOT have our furniture
Do not shop here. They will continually lie to you about arrival dates. They have an attitude when you question what is taking so long. I ordered 4 rooms of furniture in April 2021. Original date for everything was June 2021. Got some furniture but not all. Pieces have come since. Got the second half of chaise lounge in November. Still waiting for the chairs for a dining room set we bought. We got the table in June with no chairs. Today they told us it will be February for chairs. They have told us next month every month we call. We have asked if they could get us other chairs that match, display models to use until our chairs come in. No can do they say. We have not been able to eat a meal at the table in almost a year. When we call to inquire, we get nothing but attitude.

Our shopping experience was GREAT at Ashley HomeStore! The salesperson (Tobin L) gave us plenty of space so that we could browse on our own and was very helpful with the sale. He even gave us his card to contact him directly if needed. After the sale we had a question/issue and Tobin made sure everything worked out in our favor. When you go, ask for Tobin L. He's a great salesperson! (ps make sure to check the online Ashley price and compare it to the instore price. They may be different, but the store did honor the online price for us)
I highly recommend that you go see Tobin for any furniture needs! He greeted me upon entering the store and was very knowledgeable about all the different models and helped me pick out a fabulous couch. Unfortunately since I live in New York I will have to make the purchase from a branch closer to where I live, but I am very grateful to have had his help and expertise today.

This store sold me multiple future items.. living room, bedroom and other furniture and mattress sets...they will not honor the warranties if you move out of state... even though they are a national company..the lady told me they wasn't going to fix the problem...so remember this if you're moving away from Myrtle Beach after you buy their furniture..

We ordered our sectional sofa in Feb 2021 & due to Covid-19, received it today. YAY! Rita and Rachel took TERRIFIC care of us with EXCEPTIONAL customer service. Purchased a sectional for a rental home back in February 2021 and was told 8-12 weeks on delivery. It is now September...26 weeks later and I am still getting the run around. I had to buy a cheap temporary sofa for the rental. My sales rep keeps saying 1.5 weeks then I call when I don't get a call to schedule delivery like I was told and they push it another 1.5-2 weeks. WILL I EVER RECEIVE MY SECTIONAL?????
My wife and I purchased a bedroom suite back in March and due to COVID, we just now got it delivered. Even though our salesperson left, the Sales Manager Chris kept us informed about our purchase and potential delivery date. All the people at Ashley were great to work with and tried their best to reassure us that everything was being done to get us our furniture. It was a long wait but we love our furniture and appreciate Chris being so helpful.
I am writing today with disappointment, frustration and anger. On April 17 my husband and I bought a 7 piece sectional from Ashley furniture in Myrtle Beach, SC. We were told at the time of purchase that our delivery date will be anywhere between 8 to 12 weeks but should be closer to 8. We are so upset that we even went into that store to buy anything and will be cancelling our order! Here is the current time line of events that took place because we still don't have our furniture and it's been over 18 weeks already. April 17th bought furniture with the delivery date to be an estimate of 8 to 12 weeks. July 10th- Heard nothing about our furniture not even a courtesy call from the sales manager Nick Sherrell who sold us our sectional so we called for information. We were told that 1 piece had arrived out of the 7 and it will be 3 more weeks until the rest is shipped out. Was told that they were having delivery issues. July 31st- Well it's 3 weeks later and still no furniture so we called the store again. Nick Sherrell told us that there isn't any pieces in the store and that it will be another 3 weeks before delivery. When asked why our date keeps getting pushed back he stated that they were still having delivery issues. I am not understanding this as I am a realtor who has had several clients move to our area from all around the country in the last few months who had all of their stuff delivered. So yes, I was sick of hearing this sob story and Nick offered 10% off our purchase but that wouldn't be enough to even pay for my chiropractor bills because our furniture is old and awful and causing health issues. We bought furniture because we truly needed it Nick told us to keep calling back for updates. August 10th- No furniture in site and my frustration has hit the fan so I asked to speak to the area manager Jim Dodd, surpise the guys not in. So when speaking to Nick again he stated 2 more weeks. I thought yes!!! we are getting closer. August 23rd is today and we just got off the phone with the lady at the front desk. She told us our delivery date will be the second week in September!!!!! What??? That's 3 more weeks bringing the total wait time for our 7 piece sectional to 21 weeks, that's almost 6 months!!! Like I said I am a realtor and had a client who started to build a home in April and are currently living in their home comfortably for the last month. Do you understand that? We had lumber, roofing, counter tops, full bathroom fixtures, siding and full appliances built and delivered in less time than it's taking you to build and deliver a 7 piece freaking sectional. When calling your bogus customer care line we are automatically directed to call the store we purchased our product from. Well for the last 18 weeks, that has gotten us nowhere! Your customer service is horrible not having courtesy calls and constantly leaving it up to the customer to keep track of a product that is almost 7 weeks past due of the original delivery date. We ordered in April and was told all items would be in by end of June. All the other stores we went to said it would not be all in till al least September. So we decided to order everything from Ashley. Now we still are waiting on items and every time I call I get a different date. They are hoping it will come in by the end of September at this point. I just hate that I wasted the money there only because they were not honest up front. Will not trust them good furniture just not honest salesman. Very sad.

Our salesman Rod (no longer employed) did not indicate the length of time delivery would be. We purchased in May he said it should definitely be here by the time we moved into our house in June. When we called we were told beginning of July, then last week of July, then September. The only saving grace to this entire fiasco was Francine (spelling?) who works at front desk. She was awesome at getting our refund processed for the couch.

Chris was amazing at helping our family find the perfect living room furniture for our new home. He was incredibly patient as we debated (for about 40 minutes) which set would work best. The furniture was delivered quick, and he communicated with us throughout the entire process. We looked at several furniture stores throughout the area, and I am incredibly happy that we used Ashley Home in Myrtle Beach!

We recently visited several furniture stores trying to find the perfect set for our new home. Mr Paul Ellis helped us at Ashley Homestore and he was fantastic to work! He was kind, patient, and very prepared to find us exactly what we were looking for. I highly recommend talking with him for anything you might need! We can’t wait to receive our beautiful new furniture.
WE order furniture early April. By the end of May, I called to see the status. Our rep, Tobin, scolded me for calling the store instead of his personal #, and told me Ashley sent me an email to track. No they did not. He said he would call back in 5. Now almost 60. More about selling, than customer .service

She was able to help us with the small decisions that make a big difference in our home. The manger Chris is extremely helpful as well. The staff is friendly and helpful. We stopped at Ashley's after going to three other furniture stores. We were looking for a very specific type of reclining sofa and only one of them had one like it but we werent crazy about the material. Casey greeted us as soon as we walked in and when we told her what we were looking for she knew exactly where the specific sofas were. She was very knowledgable, super sweet and gave us an amazing deal! We ended up finding our dream couch and left very happy! Nick Saddlemire was absolutely awesome to work with!! We went in just to check out our options as far as a new bed and furniture set. His down to earth and straight forward ness sold us right away, but when he hopped on one of the beds, we knew we had come to the right guy! We ordered furniture from Ashley's on Feb 2nd of this year. We were told due to COVID the delivery times were being extended and we were looking at about 6-8 weeks for our furniture to be delivered. Well, today I am being told we are looking at least the beginning of May before we might get anything delivered. Here is my problem, in all this time, not once has ANYONE from that store ever called us to give us an update. I have called 1x a week to find out where we are at. EVERY time I called I was told the delivery is pushed out 2 - 3 more weeks. How are you supposed to believe it is ever coming when they say, oh well looks like it's pushed out again. My sales person never called me back when I left messages and I was told by one of the ladies that answer the phone that she would look into getting some it sooner by contacting the warehouse directly, and of course, that never happened and she never called me back. We are cancelling the order and going with another local company that delivers when they say the will. Very frustrating and upsetting and Ashley does not seem to care; they are like sure go ahead and cancel no problem. WOW!
This store is completely incompetent and incapable of giving any real information about deliveries of furniture purchased. I placed an order in January received part of my order early March with the rest of it expected to come mid to the end of March now it has been pushed back to the end of April. I requested they come and pick up their furniture and give us a credit on the entire purchase since it was incomplete. The people on the phone or rude and condescending referring to me as "sweetie". I will never step foot in another Ashley furniture store again. I can't understand how this place even stays in business they are disaster.
My experience at Ashley Home Store was excellent and Chris our sales associate was very knowledgeable. He helped us pick our new mattress and tables for our livingroom. Chris followed up to make sure we were happy. I also want to say the front end staff were helpful. Noel, Jessica, and Rachael are super nice. Delivery was great too. Cortez and Trey are fantastiv. .

If you need furniture make sure you ask for Mr. Paul. He was amazing from the time i walked in the door until i was walking out! I had a wonderful experience, he helped me every step of the way! You are awesome Mr. Paul! Keep up the good work!
Just to enlighten you on my experience. Upon entering your store I was not greeted, which in itself isn’t so bad if your staff is helping others but they were not. I walked around your entire showroom without not one single salesperson approach me and offer to help me find what I’m looking for. You guys must not be wanting a sale because I was ready to pay 1,000 plus for a king sized bed frame I found on your website. You need to educate your staff on customer service, YOU ARE LOOSING customers due to your poor sales people and service. Read down below, I’m not the first to notice your lack of effort. First impressions are everything in the sales business.
Furniture came late and they wouldn’t let me cancel the furniture without me paying a fee. Never will buy furniture from here again. A fellow friend of mine informed me that she had the same issue and she got a lawyer involved. Wish I would’ve known beforehand but mistakes happen.
Hay I just want you to know that I was at your store in Myrtle Beach SC today and I have to say the customer service was extremely bad. We were not greeted, which didn't bother me that much if all the employees are with other customers but when Chris finally came around we asked about bar stools and wow his lack of effort in helping was truly amazing. EVEN when I asked about if one type of counter height came in bar height he NEVER EVEN TRIED TO FIND OUT OR EVEN ANSWER. HIs thing was just look around and see if you find anything. And he went back to talking sports to his coworkers. SO because of him y'all lost a sale today we went elsewhere to find what we wanted.

Delayed delivery because of the Covid-19, on my bedroom furniture, as we have a new home still trying to furnish ,our salesman John knowing our situation,sent ahead our bed mattress and a frame,so we can be comfortable ,thank you ! While we continue to wait for our bed headboard,footboard and frame and bedroom furniture to be delivered in April, they do follow up and return calls to address delivery info., still need my bedroom set still have 2 rooms to design to complete our home..thank you to the store owner who promptly got back to us and addressed my concerns..
We just bought furniture for our new home. Thanks to Thomasina we bought every piece of furniture we needed at one time and completely furnished the house! My wife and I were looking for a new sofa. We stopped in Ashley to look and were greeted by a young man, Kenny Fisher. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. He did tell us that delivery on some things could take awhile to get, but he would check on anything we were interested in. We picked out a sofa that we liked and was informed that we might be able to get it in 4 to 6 weeks and gave us a really good price. Kenny gave me his cell phone number and said he would keep us updated weekly. We received a call from the warehouse in 5 weeks and set up delivery for a couple of days later. The guys delivered and set up out sofa and we are very pleased. Definitely would recommend Ashely and Kenny.

First and foremost....Roderick Boyd was our sales associate and he was excellent. Not pushy, very polite, knew his business very well. We posed a lot of questions and I know we took a LOT of his time. He is very sociable and friendly. We will be calling on him again in the very near future. The store is very large with a huge assortment of home needs. Again we were not hounded for a sale. They do price matching and we took advantage. We did some serious purchases and Roderick was great for both in store and ordering purchases. I HATE furniture shopping and was with my wife but the environment and interaction at Ashley was actually a very good experience in furniture shopping.
We had spent a lot of time looking at furniture online and at a variety of places to be able to meet our budget but also wanting solid pieces that will hold up. We stopped into Ashley’s and we are so grateful that we worked with Thomasina. Shopping for furniture is difficult, you want to make sure you are getting a good value, quality piece, that fits your space and your decor theme. We spent hours upon hours in the store going through each collection. Thomasina was absolutely amazing. She was patient, she listened to what we were saying, offered suggestions, ideas and made the whole process a lot of fun! We shared some laughs which made such a wonderful shopping experience. I don’t think we would have had the same outcome if it wasn’t for Thomasina. She made the experience so much better. We furnished multiple rooms and she worked with us on finding pieces that fit our needs and our budgets. I’ve typically felt that a lot of home furniture shops, the sales folks can be pushy and focused on making a sale. Thomasina was the exact opposite. She was trying to find the right pieces for our home which was a breath of fresh air for us. I couldn’t recommend anyone more. If you are in the Myrtle Beach area and looking for furniture make sure you see Thomasina, you won’t regret it.

We needed a new bed with specific parameters in February. We walked into Ashley and were greeted by Brian Zipay who actually listened to us and allowed us wander around looking on our own until we had questions. We narrowed our choices, but hesitated when we were told that it would be 4-6 weeks for delivery. Left the store, talked and decided to return. Lo & behold - 2 weeks later we’re sleeping soundly and have Brian to thank for his help. In Myrtle Beach, go to Ashley for quality furniture and go to Brian Zipay for a quality experience.

If I could leave no stars I definitely would!! Our “salesperson” Darnell has been deceitful since the very beginning. He assured us it would be about 8 weeks for delivery even during COVID and even called a week before it was supposed to be delivered to say we were still on schedule for delivery. We got our couch removed in preparation for the new one considering Ashley Furniture doesn’t remove your old couch. However, when I called Darnell two days before we were expecting the couch the story changed and he tells us it will be another FOUR WEEKS before can receive it. He goes on to blame COVID for delays and even goes a far as to say he has customers still waiting on their couch since SEPTEMBER!! I totally get COVID causing delays but DARNELL knew this in December when we bought the couch. DARNELL IS THE ONE WHO CALLED US to say we were still on schedule for delivery. COVID did not call us. Because of DARNELL, my family, including my three kids are sitting on the floor while all DARNELL can say is too bad and spend more money on a rental. Ashley Furniture especially the one on Frontage Road in Myrtle Beach will not be getting our business ever again!!! Taking my business to Havertys in Myrtle Beach. THANKS SO MUCH DARNELL AND ASHLEY FURNITURE!! (Being sarcastic if didn’t realize)

Please avoid this store at all cost our salesman Rod was dishonest and deceitful. The quality of the furniture is horrible and the one piece that was delivered was missing pieces and no one from customer service will return my call. this was after being promised furniture in 4-6 weeks then told after 8 weeks I may get it in another 8 weeks while I tried to cancel the order I was told they are a franchise store and don't honor Ashley Furniture return policy and I'll be charged a 20% restocking fee even though I haven't even received my order or a definite date when I will get it how can I be charged a restocking fee when they don't have stock. I was told to speak to the store manager Jim but he has not returned calls and our sales person said that he said that's the best they can do. I will end up paying the 20% but I can promise you this I will never buy a piece of Ashley Furniture for the rest of my life and I will be sure anyone I meet or speak to across my social network in 6 states will know not to either since they are only out to mislead their consumers and not stand by their promises and making me uphold my end of an agreement they already broke.
I just purchased a sectional sofa from Ashley furniture over the weekend! As soon as I walked through the doors, there was someone to great me unlike other stores i previously visited. Darnel was excellent and made the whole process a breeze. He was very honest with me about the 3 options I had picked out. Thank you Ashley furniture & Darnel! I can’t wait to receive my cuddler sofa!
I purchased a living room set and mattress from the Ashley store in Myrtle Beach, SC in September. I did not receive it until late October. I was understanding due to the pandemic. It was only a matter of a few days that I realized the mattress was defective as it formed a trench down the middle after only two weeks of use. I went to the store where I was told I had to call customer service. Customer service sent a furniture repair guy to look at it about a month after I made contact with them. He told me someone would contact me. No calls or emails received. I called customer service back and a decision had not been made. It had been weeks later at that point. There was a series of calls and store visits made. I went back to the store to get a mattress, placed the order once I finally got confirmation of a store credit only to be told by the furniture repairman who made a second visit in January, Ashley said he did not inspect the mattress correctly and they would not honor my new mattress request until he redid the assessment. I thought he was coming to pick up the faulty mattress and to deliver the new mattress. I was floored because no one called nor emailed me about this. He showed up after I had already made several calls, store visits and argued with customer service about being asked to pay a second delivery fee when the matter was their fault. I am at a lost for words at this point. I am still trying to find out if I am getting a new mattress. It is February, my back now hurts, I am having to visit a chiropractor to get an adjustment and I still do not have a mattress. Please note that I am making payments on this faulty product because they will not credit my account nor I heard anything about a new mattress since the repairman came last month. It is absolutely ridiculous the poor service and poor quality product I am dealing with.

Very nice place and lots of nice furniture. Went in today to look for end tables and get some ideas. Have bought quite a bit of furniture from here. Saw a few things I liked that I'm gonna think about. Only down fall was the guy working that I talked to today came to me a couple different times to check on me and told me each time he was gonna go and get me his card to give me before I left but never did. He's gonna loose out on some commission if they make any off sales cause I'm redoing my living room family room and bedroom. But over all a nice place with tons of awesome ideas on how to do a room in your house.
There's a Great staff at Ashley Home Store. My salesman Nick was very helpful with everything we needed. My wife and I were looking to purchase a new bedroom set and Nick showed us a popular design in king size which is just what we wanted. Nick and the manager gave us a great discount on everything we needed from the set. And most importantly we were not pushed into anything. All in all a great experience without the high pressure sales pitch.

This has been the worst furniture I have ever made. I ordered AND PAID FOR furniture 4 months ago and was told the time frame was 4-6 weeks. 4 months later it still isn’t here and they have no idea when I will get it. The next Estimate is 2 more weeks. My biggest complaint is I paid $2000 months ago for non existent furniture. I will be going in to get a refund when I get back from my business trip!

Had a wonderful experience at Ashley Furniture! We had to furnish a whole house and I was alittle overwhelmed at the thought of it... I cannot say enough about our Salesman Nick Sherrell , who was Training an employee, whos name was Nick as well and he was equally as wonderful. We spent hours in the store picking out items then changing items and when I tell you, These two were the most patient, kind , knowledegable people that I have ever encountered in a store. They were even helpful with ideas to make things easier and cost effective for us. Beyond pleasantly surprised!!! I cannot Thank them enough for making this process so easy and fun!! Nick even stayed past his work hours to assure that everything went smooth with the financing and check out. went above and beyond, Thank you Nick !!!

We have decided never to actually buy there again...I had an extremely bad situation with different Ashley furniture, where It took them many months to correct a missmatched $4000 bed... The store manager told me they would take care of it Today they delivered it wrong he said just keep it and actually farms here would make it right... afterwards it's like we were there enemy, It turned me off to all their stores, that's my opinion..

If you are ok with waiting 6 months for your furniture, then I guess it’s ok. Didn’t receive everything we ordered, still waiting on a chair. Was told that will be another month. When I called the store on 2 separate occasions I was spoken to with attitude both times from different employees. I guess they are nice to you up to the point of purchase, then after that they don’t seem to care. Purchased in October 2020 and it’s now February 2021 and still waiting.

This is my second time purchasing items from Ashley. I swore after the first time I would not do it again, but because my husband fell in love with the pieces he saw I gave in. I purchased the Bolanburg dinning room table, two chairs, two upholstered chairs, and the bench seat in 2017 from Sam Jones at the Myrtle Beach store. After waiting over a month to receive it, I was provided with a table whose wood was poorly put together and the plywood underneath was showing along with the glue and drawers which did not work properly. Two of the backs (one wooden back and one upholstered), although white, had blue sharpie marks all over them. I contacted the company as soon as it was delivered and waited another month to have a new table brought to me. I then waited two weeks to have someone bring two backs to replace the two with sharpie. They then left the original backs. I can say the best part of that experience was Sam’s sympathy and willingness to stay in touch. I can now say the paint used on the table is chipping and flaking away. The warranty has ended and of course is no good. With several years having pasted, I had hoped the service would be much better. I cannot say it has been the case. After discussing with Adrienne at the same store our interest in the Gavelston entertainment center, coffee table, two end tables, and two lamps, we elected to purchase the items. Unfortunately our schedules did not match up and so we were unable to purchase the items from her. She did refer us to Casey who completed our order and promised not only to keep in touch with us regarding updates, but that the furniture would arrive in no more than 2-4 weeks. It has now been 10 weeks since we purchased the items and we have again been informed that it will be at least the middle of next week before it arrives. In the five attempts I have made to contact the store (all of which I had to call or message), I was met with rude or uncaring personalities. I understand that COVID has affected many different areas of the economy and production lines, but that does not excuse the attitudes of each employee I have spoken to thus far. Nor does it make it okay that every promise made thus far has been an empty promise which they later fall back on their words. Something as simple as a phone call or the delivery of an email which is promised to be made or sent but falls through for weeks at a time and then denied to have been made to begin with is just totally and completely unprofessional. IF we decide to continue waiting for this furniture, I can promise WE WILL NEVER PURCHASE FROM HERE AGAIN! I am honestly dreading inspecting the furniture due to any major flaws and then again waiting weeks to months in addition for the properly constructed pieces to arrive.
First of all, the delivery truck arrived exactly on the dot at the beginning of the window period. The movers were gentleman & very professional. I am happy with the service with not only the furniture but with the help from all the staff in the store.

If I could give this place -5 star review I would. I’ve had a similar experience as a previous customer above who mentioned a poor customer service. We bought our furniture in June and had multiple occasions that we were told we would receive phone calls from our customer service representative. We never received a single phone call for over a month. At this point we decided to call Ashley furniture and was met with significant rudeness by the front desk and other sales associate as we try to figure out where our furniture was. Finally do this we called the corporate office and filed a complaint we were told that our furniture would come sometime in September and we would receive updates. We did initially receive a phone call from the store manager who apologize for the poor customer service and assured us that we would receive phone calls from here on out giving us updates. Again we received no updates and had to continually call to find out where our furniture was eventually we started getting some of her furniture delivered however we then found out that the majority of our furniture was pushed out due to coronavirus. Again after receiving no updates we called and complain to corporate again about our poor customer service we were insured that we would receive updates and that this would not continue to happen. As no surprise we continue to get poor customer service and no updates eventually most of our furniture arrived however one of our main pieces that we ordered which we were told was going to be available September 15 was there not available till October 1 they are not available to October 15 then not available till early November with no guarantee for that. At this point we were fed up and had enough of the poor customer service and we continue to lie toWind up canceling our order for the couches and having them pick up a loveseat that was delivered. This place by far has the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life not only does a store not care about its customers by the corporate office additionally claims to say that they care and will have people update you and then no follow up is ever made. We ended up going to another company in buying our couch on Saturday and it was delivered on Tuesday with no questions no delays and good customer service. If you were looking for furniture I would definitely look elsewhere and we will never do business with Ashley furniture ever again.

Having recently been caught in the recent flooding from Hurricane Florence, it became very difficult to schedule the pick up of my old couches by the charity organization and the delivery of my new ones. I am using a cane at the moment, and she helped me find a beautiful couch that will provide me with the support that I need. She and a very helpful warehouse man actually moved chairs across the store to the couch that I had picked out to see how they looked together, so I good make my decision. We ordered bedroom furniture 7/3/20. Was told 3-8 weeks delivery time. Was called 8/25/20 and told it will be delivered first week of September. It has been 14 weeks and are still being told every week it will be loaded at the end of the week from the manufacturer. ZERO customer service. Will never purchase from Ashley again.
My experience with Thomasina was poor at best. She "puffed" the most expensive mattress in the store making sound like it was the best think since sliced bread! Unfortunately, it was not! I called to tell her I wanted to exchange the mattress (per policy) and she said she would get back to me. It is now 3 days from that conversation and heard nothing from her. Don't trust Thomasina!

When I first received the introduction of the chest drawer, I revisited the employee who received the business card, and he was unkind. I must have thought I was his stalker. I felt so bad. I should have asked an old man to take care of me. I got a call at 7:30 a.m. for delivery notification. I had to go to work by 9 a.m. but I couldn't understand that they would deliver it at 8 a.m. I couldn't stop the delivery. And the American Furniture employee who bought the bed frame two months ago was nicer. I think I should buy furniture online next time.

Most reasonable place to get your furniture. They have one of the best furniture quality at affordable rates. You can also get furniture protection plan for thousand bucks for four years. The only downside is that furniture is delivered after 2-3 months, but worthwhile waiting. You can also try multiple deliveries to get the furniture that is available early. I have visited other furniture stores which are either too pricy, or sell poor quality stuff. For me, Ashley is the most reasonable place for furniture shopping. Further, I would also recommend getting lamps when purchasing furniture, after discounts they are are a lot cheaper and better than at Home goods.

Olivia I'm with you. I took my mom to shop for new furniture and she made a purchase second week of July. Salesman promised to call every week. Nothing! Sales people need to learn to not set expectations that they cannot keep. Just be honest! This is very bad business. I realize that COVID is an issue but how about keeping your PAID customers informed as to what is going on. When she called them to follow up she was told that she may NEVER get the loveseat that she ordered. Did they give her any other options? She even asked if she could have the floor model and they said that they need it to show... WHY? if no one can get a delivery anyway. Beyond frustrated as well.
Expensive things, ok quality, nothing exciting which I would consider a good deal. Lot of phony deals and double-talk; like a used car lot.
Wife and I like others was told one thing and shown another. COVID excuse is about played out ! You have a business to run, customers depend on you to be honest and straightforward. I understand if it takes 3-8 weeks. At that time it’s up to me to wait or purchase somewhere else. But when I’m told one thing and it is shown to be the total opposite then yes I’m very upset. Waiting here on a sofa,desk,Bed, and a chase lounge for going on 6 weeks now. Paid Cash I might add so no excuse there. Yes I’m fully aware of it being two more weeks till the expected time, however these people can’t simply inform me where my merchandise is let alone when it will arrive at my door. They just don’t call weekly cause they JUST DONT KNOW. Sorry customer service. But o well guess this is what we should expect from now on with just about any service.
Let me start by saying that this place is zero stars at best. We ordered a sectional in February of 2020. It was delivered in March broken and torn. They sent a repair man out in April to fix it but he had the wrong part. My sectional that I paid for in February was finally usable at the end of July. To say the customer service was horrible is an understatement. I&'ll never spend another dime at this place.
Really zero stars. Waited since end of June for a Sofa ordered. Delivered today the frame was broken delivery crew took it back to warehouse. Called Ashley Homestore about getting a refund they told me I had to pay a 20% restock fee for their damaged couch and said they could send a technican to come out and repair the frame. The couch left with the delievry people. Customer service refused to let me talk with a supervisor regarding the matter. Disgusted and will never buy from these incompetent people again!

Ordered furniture on September 14 and they called today to deliver it on October 3rd. 3 weeks for delivery is unacceptable but they don't work with you. Told the girl on the phone is that all I can do is wait and she said yes. I have spent alot of money there in the last 2 months, but I will go elsewhere for my next 2 rooms. I want to get it before Christmas. The manager also told me he would refund my fee for $99 dollars for the delivery 4 months later and I never received it. Called them twice about it and they gave me a run around. It's not the money, the manager has no clue how to treat customers. 3 more months have passed and still never recieved a refund, it has been almost a year. Talk about your dishonest business. This place is horrible when it comes to service or repair. Go elsewhere. Dont wait 4 weeks for your furniture, it's not worth it. Dont take the warranty, it took 5 months to replace a broken couch and waiting all day for delivery this company is the worst and the manager will just BS you. Please go elsewhere, they are terrible.

Over 6 weeks and still no couch. We are now being told that the earliest it will get delivered is on Saturday or Monday which will make it 7 weeks!!! But that's no guarantee and still nothing has been done to compensate us at all. Still so disappointing.

Don't waste your time shopping here! We were told our order would be delivered in 3-4 weeks and that we would get weekly updates. It's now been 5 weeks! Spoke to numerous people and got a different delivery date from each person. We had to initiate contact! Sales person who we originally worked with finally contacted my spouse over a week ago and said that it would be another 5 weeks and that there was nothing he could do. There is ALWAYS something that can be done for a customer! This is horrible customer service and as of now we only received one update! Beware of their 20% restocking fee because NOTHING will be done to accommodate you. This seems to be a trend with them according to other reviews and locals that I have spoken to. There are a lot of other places with items in stock and speedy delivery. I highly suggest looking elsewhere as we will never buy or suggest Ashley Home Furniture to anyone! I will post updates as they become available.
Very DisappointingI made multiple purchases of Ashley Furniture in the past, and have been pleased; however this visit was disappointing. I went to purchase Dining Room Furniture, again a nice selection, and I found what I was seeking. The saleswomen was pushy, and forward, making me feel uncomfortable. I attempted to order the Dining Room furniture, where they informed me it would take 3-8 weeks to arrive, and I would be required to pay in full prior to the order being placed. With that I left the store and went to America Furniture Warehouse. America Furniture Warehouse not only have the same Dining Room Furniture, for the Same price, with delivery promised in less then two weeks. Then to top everything, the Sales Tax is less, so there was additional savings.Skip Ashley's and save time and money by going to America Furniture Warehouse, right up to road.
I wish every store had a Chris. He was very helpful and willing to work with us. Can't wait to get our new loveseat. Entire transaction went smooth.

The staff was wonderful. They lost a floor model piece I purchased last week. They were very apologetic and even worked it out for me to bring home something similar. Accidents do happen but they were great.
Worst company to ever deal with. Over two months and Lots of money in furniture and they have yet to deliver my furniture. Don’t ever go through them.

The sale women suddenly walked to another two customers and left me alone without telling me anything. I waited and waited. I saw two Female employees were chatting there so I asked their help. One employee said something very rude to me. I asked her a question about the furniture, then she said, “ask your mom”. Another female employee laughed aloud. I was so embarrassed. The store manager heard that and came over but didn’t say anything about this, instead he started chatting with them and left me alone there like a fool. I left the store with tears. I wanted buy a lot furniture for my new home but didn’t buy anything there. I was shocked by there bad services.

In store customer service was good. We bout a couch in April and were told that it would be at our house within 2 to 4 weeks... after 4 weeks passed now they say that it won’t be shipped to the WAREHOUSE till June... then they will call and set up a shipment date. So if you don’t mind waiting 2 months to get whatever you purchased this is the place for you. If we had know it would be this long we would have went elsewhere.

I purchased furniture over 6 weeks ago and still have not received the furniture or even have a delivery date. I've called the customer care number and the recording says that they are closed and then precedes to tell me the hours that they are open. Every time I have call has been during the open hours. I understand that things are different because of Covid-19, but really, I've waited over 6 weeks and still no furniture or delivery date!
Couldn't be happier with our purchase! Our new bedroom set is just as lovely in our new home as it was in the showroom. We are happy with the quality and construction of our set. A huge shout-out to Mary Strang of the Myrtle Beach homestore. Mary was wonderful and kept us in the loop every step of the way. Going to update my review from 9 months ago. On Jan 27th, my husband and I wanted to buy a new Tempurpedic mattress. Of course our favorite saleslady was off that day but she graciously came with us to the store so we could purchase the queen size luxe-adapt soft. The mattress has really done wonders for me since we received it the 7th of Feb. Mathea is the best, hands down in our opinion!!!! I hope y'all don't ever lose her! She knows the business! No sales pressure what so ever like most places. If you go there, ask for Mathea, she's great!
Went in ashley home furniture to buy a sectional and was kindly greeted by Steve the store manager. First thing we asked when we saw the sectional we fell in love with was if the couch was in stock. He said “yes, it’s a popular couch.” He then proceeded to tell us that delivery would take 2-3 weeks so we decided to opt out of delivery and just pick it up ourselves from the store so we could get it sooner since it was “in stock”. On the day we went back to purchase the couch (my brother was helping us, so he met us at the store with his truck), after signing the paperwork for the couch and paying we were told that the couch would be delivered to the store in 2-3 weeks... you figure when you’re in a store and ask if it’s “in stock” that would mean if it’s in stock at that store.. right now.. at this moment. So then we just paid extra for delivery and decided to wait the LONG 2-3 weeks. Actually, it turned out to be exactly 4 weeks. If i knew that it would take 4 weeks for me to have an empty living room waiting for the couch to come in, telling my friends not to come over because there was no furniture to sit on.. i wouldn’t have even bought the couch. It’s ridiculous that it took 4 weeks for a couch that was “in stock” to be delivered, along with the terrible communication. I even went into the store on the third week and asked where my couch was and Steve told me it would for sure be delivered by February 9th. I received the couch on that day and the moving guys were very quick. Probably will not purchase from this store again considering i wouldn’t want to wait another MONTH for furniture i paid for ahead of time.

Much higher prices that Daytona Beach Florida store. Will not match prices. No customer service, people standing around talking to each other or on cell phones.
Went to look for furniture for our new home. Had been looking online and in many stores. We were immediately impressed with the selection and bright well organized store at Myrtle Beach. But The most impressive part was we were helped by Mary S and she was able to help us narrow down our selections and pick furniture to match each room of our new home by looking at the pictures we showed her. NICK, NICK, NICK is the salesman you want to see!!! He is polite, nice and very knowledgeable. I don’t usually take time to do reviews... but tonight I went to three different furniture stores and I upset by the time I got to Ashley’s, the first place the sales person was rude to me. The second place NO-ONE spoke to me. Third place... Nick was there. Now, I am not always a nice guy to put up with, and Nick patiently waited on me and helped me greatly. He even stayed late to make sure I was taken care of. I bought a living room suit. Good old fashioned customer service! Thank you Nick!
Having recently moved to the area, we were in need of several items for our new home. We visited several furniture stores in the area while searching for just the right pieces and want to say our experience at the Ashley HomeStore on Frontage Road was very pleasant. All the employees were friendly and welcoming, but we had the good fortune to work with sales associate Mathea Arruda who was exceptional. She was very informative about the Ashley products and extremely patient to answer all questions and concerns while we made our decisions about our selection and kept us well informed on the delivery process Thank you Mathea and Ashley Homestore. We moved to this area about 6 months ago and have been very satisfied with both the quality of the furniture and the professionalism of the sales staff. We bought a dresser/chest piece at a great price and wound up buying a twin sleeper sofa as well....these are hard to find! Our salesperson, Mathea, was very knowledgeable and even took the time to text me more info as well as the dimensions of the sofa after I'd left the store. I recommend her and this store among so many that are in this area.

Bought 3 rooms of furniture with Ms. Thomasina C. Watts at the Myrtle Beach showroom. The store is set up wonderfully and Ms. Watts has been so helpful and a pleasure to shop with. She’s very knowledgeable about the furniture and branding of Ashley Furniture. Don’t waste your time shopping other furniture stores. Don’t buy online! Go to the store and see the quality and comfort of the furniture.

Gave me the run-around when our furniture was two weeks late. Spoke to 5 different people with 5 different answers. They keep passing me off to someone else. Now we are without living room furniture for christmas with two small children. I was told the owner of this store owns several Ashley's so he may want to know that his customer service in Myrtle Beach is 2 star at best.
We bought a set of furniture and bought the extended warranty. A section of the frame on the couch broke and they were unable to repair it, so we were given a store credit to come replace our set. It was very low hassle and everyone was very professional on the phone. When we went into the store, our sales associate, Ashley, was wonderful to work with. We picked out a new set and she went out of her way to answer our questions and help us. Then Kasondra finalized our purchase and checked us out. She was fantastic and provided a ton of additional information. It was a great experience and I recommend the additional warranty!
Older lady behind the counter was very rude and not helpful at all, not only to us but also to a woman that was ahead of us also. She wanted to keep saying what we couldn't do instead of trying to fix the situation. We spent nearly 2 hours in this site tonight, I guess that guy that worked so hard on helping us with $4000.00 worth of furniture won't benefit from gettin that sale. Oh well on to somewhere else tomorrow to find someone who wants to actually sale furniture.

Since I cannot respond to Ashely's reply, I will add a paragraph here as a response. To be clear, I am the homeowner, I am the cardholder of the purchase of the sofa, and I am the one filing a review. I have in no way slandered their business. I have posted my issue with the way they have done business with us. They are great at sales but when I needed them to step up and replace a faulty sofa, they have refused to do so. THAT is what buyers need to beware of. the original review is below. Buyer needs to beware! Potential buyers need to be aware of the return policy of Ashley Furniture/Ashley Home stores. It can cost you dearly! Know before you buy! We feel shafted by Ashley! We bought a Geashill sofa and a few weeks later it was delivered. It was defective so we called to see if they could either repair or replace it. They came a few weeks later to check it and found it was not repairable so they prepared to load it up and then bring in the new sofa. When they removed the legs to get it through the door, German Roaches came out so they declined to take it or to replace it. We believe the roaches came in with the sofa since there were none prior to the sofa showing up and the center of the roaches was located in the sofa. Since then we have had the exterminators bait four times to get rid of them. Our place is professionally sprayed monthly for insects and we did not have the problem prior to the furniture arriving. I have been in communication with several reps from Ashley Customer Care and from the store from which the purchase was made. Ashley refuses to replace the sofa or refund the purchase price. The method. Ashley worked in circles to deny replacement or refund. Customer care sends you to the local store. I talked to the General Manager, Jim of the Myrtle Beach store. The local store sends you to customer care. After several rounds of that I sent a letter to Mr. Todd Wanek, President and CEO of Ashley. Unfortunately I never heard from him but did receive an email from Janet in Ashley Consumer Affairs. She circled me back to the local store for resolution. So I contacted the number she gave which took me to customer care. I talked with Erica in that department and she suggested I send an email, so I did. I received a reply back and the response is as follows : “Thank you for contacting us Mr. Bartley. The Myrtle Beach, SC Ashley HomeStores has been consistent in relaying our decision, from the GM, the Salesperson and Customer Care Center. We are not able to exchange the item due to the infestation of cockroaches. A refund cannot be issued for an item we cannot retrieve. The infestation did not originate with the brand new item delivered in the factory wrap and in good working condition on June 24, 2019…. David Broach Director of Customer Care Operations The Parrott Group of Companies” The Problem. The problem with this policy is that Ashely can sell you a piece of defective/faulty furniture and not take responsibility for either a replacement or refund. You are stuck with a defective piece of furniture and are out the money. That is a loss on your part but they came out just fine. Now that is the policy you need to be aware of before you buy. I ordered a bedroom set on 10.30.19 and have yet to receive the order. Nobody even follows up to tell me why? There was also a significant price drop and when I spoke to them via email, they won't honor it. I will never buy anything from Ashley Furniture again. Worst experience ever. Still waiting for delivery for a month! Ashley Homestore reply was really bad for this review. You can see from the response they couldn't care any less
What to thank Bert for her help in my new bedroom set. She went out of her way to make sure I got what I wanted for a great price. I received my order today and was told that delivery would be between 10 & 1 and I got a text at 8:30 they were on their way. The two gentlemen were great in making sure I had the pieces ordered and were set up in the correct rooms. Will work with Ashley Furniture again.
Thomasina at the Ashley furniture Myrtle beach location has the most incredible customer service skills! Thomasina is extremely knowledgeable of her craft. This always makes a somewhat long check out process a little more enjoyable. Just bought a new kitchen table with the assistance of Thomasina at our local Ashley Furniture store. It was a very smooth shopping experience with no pressure. She's very easy to work with. We are looking forward to getting our table in about 3 weeks.
We just purchased a sofa sleeper from Ashley Furniture. The salesperson, Kasey was wonderful. We were there a long time and it was late in the evening-getting close to closing. She could not have been any nicer or more helpful. Our couch was delivered during the time frame they said which was helpful since we were leaving town. Unfortunately, when it arrived the delivery company was not able to get it through our inside door. This was no fault of Ashley&'s. We called and explained the situation and they were very considerate saying we could have store credit or a refund. We chose a refund and the same day we received a call that the money had been reimbursed to our credit card. They were an outstanding company to deal with. We would absolutely recommend Ashley Furniture and plan to do more shopping at their store in the future.

I am sadden to say how disappointed I am with my purchase of two recliners and couch from Ashley Furniture. My furniture is pilling terribly. After speaking to several people at Ashley I was basically told to just shave my furniture. That it is not covered and there is no guarantee. Pilling is due to their flawed fabric. So here I sit with awful furniture when I should be able to enjoy it. Bad business Ashley Furniture. Shave it ? Really ?
If I could give a zero for service I would! Sales Manager Steve likes to degrade and call his customers liars while on speaker phone in the store. He did this to the point of making me cry and me walking out the store. He also likes to downgrade other small businesses saying they are all here today and gone tomorrow, how they are nothing, and how they wont back you up like Ashley will. This is not the truth whatsoever! He is a disgrace to the Ashley name and I hope all future customers are aware of the disrespect you will receive at this store! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE!!!

I was helped out by Tracy on the sales floor. I needed furniture for my new house. Tracy was friendly and very patient, and took the time to show me several bedroom sets, mattresses, and even an adjustable base, which I hadn't thought of. After selecting the items I liked, Tracy and the store manager worked to get better prices. I've been back to the store a couple of times to find additional items, to include an entertainment center that Tracy researched and found me. Exactly what I needed. I get compliments on it by visitors and guests. Any time I go back to Ashley, I always ask for Tracy!

Great in-store experience with Thomasina, awful experience afterwards. I was told &"3 weeks for delivery, but it never takes that long&" back on 8/19. I still don&'t have a couch, or a delivery date. I received a text message saying my couch would be loaded on 9.17. I called today, 9/17, to see when the couch would be delivered, and I was told &"Maybe Wednesday, maybe Thursday, maybe Friday, when would you like it delivered?&" Don&'t expect any communication or customer service if you call the store with questions. I was hung up on by whoever schedules deliveries. Ashley furniture had no problem taking my money IMMEDIATELY, weeks ago. Still no couch! Go elsewhere.**UPDATE: received a phone call today rescheduling the delivery that was never scheduled. &"Sometimes trucks break down&" is what I was told. I&'m wondering why I spent over $900 on a couch that takes over a month to arrive. What is exactly is the delivery fee for? DO NOT SHOP HERE.

I NEVER thought that I would be BULLIED, INSULTED AND HUMILIATED while trying to buy a dining room table especially not by the store manager- STEVE THOMPSON- myrtle beach. I simply asked if he could give me a discount. He gave me 10% off but when I asked him deduct the delivery fee because my husband would pick it up, he immediately got loud and in front of other customers started rudely insulting me by questioning what school I went to because I clearly don't understand math and what IM doing in life anyway . . he said that he doesn't need my business that bad , he has plenty of customers in the store. At that point I told him that I want to talk to somebody else because he was mistreating me . He told me to wait. I waited 20 minutes before someone else approached me , mind you IM 8 month pregnant . The lady who helped me immediately gave me 15% discount but of course as the store manager he wouldn't sign off it. I felt it was just out of spite so I left without buying anything . Nobody ever treated me with so much disrespect in a store. What kind of person does this to a customer? Especially a heavily pregnant woman. . This man may have singled me out because IM a woman and I have an accent. . he thought I was an easy target. Shame on him and shame on those who make a hateful person like this a store manager. I will never set foot in Ashley home stores again. And ill make sure none of my friend and family does either! Ill post it every place I can! Worst experience we ever had with Ashley furniture store, located on 906 Frontage Rd E, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577. Really, what has happened to Ashley furniture store? We furnished our last house with very good quality furniture, which included bedroom, dining room, family and living rooms sets, no scratches, beautiful looking after 18 years. This summer after moving here, we went to purchase a recliner sectional sofa and bedroom set. Both are over priced, higher than the online Ansley store, but quality is worse than discount furniture stores, chips on delivery, sofa after a couple of days became floppy and many other dissatisfactions. We would love to return their furniture, for that reason we went to the store a few times to see the manager, but each time we got false information from Chris, Burt and Francine. This is the last purchase from this store, better to buy from Walmart, better quality and big savings. Beware, new customers, of this store, employees and especially the quality of the furniture! We waited for 2 delivery's and 2 repair techs and this is still not resolved.
I will never go here again. I was mistreated by the manager Chris here and he argued with me in front of customers about what they lied to me about having furniture for me. He was very pushy, didn't listen, and when i asked him for someone else he ignored me. He seemed non caring so i took my business to Badcok in Conway SC. I got my whole house furnished here and they treated me very well. Also i got stuff delivered the same day from the floor just to make us happy and the rest was delivered in 4 days. please go to Badcok in Conway ,SC they will treat you like family.
My husband and I went in looking for a sectional sofa and Toni help us find the perfect one. We were indecisive and Toni was very patient with us and help us pick out one. She's very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend her.

Worst service ever!!! The sales people and the manager will lie to you. We were told our sectional would be delivered by the 29th, because we had family coming to visit and they even said they would split the delivery’s into two, so we could get the sectional before our family got here. We knew it would take longer to get the chair. You call and shipping and receiving and they act like they don’t know anything. This is the last time we will purchase anything from Ashley’s furniture.

Purchased an electric recliner a year ago. I purchased a 5 year extended warranty. Took over a month to get anyone to handle my warranty. Went to speak to manager Chris Hubble, 7/11/19, and he said he didnt believe me and basically called me an liar. Filing complaint with Corp office. Will never purchase from here again.

I recently bought several pieces of furniture from this store. Mathea was my salesperson and I couldn’t have been more pleased. She gave me updates on deliveries and followed up each time. I even contacted her when she wasn’t working and she helped me immediately. There was a glitch with some hardware that didn’t arrive with one of the beds but office personnel and the manager took care of it. They were gracious, apologetic, and handled everything smoothly. I will definitely shop there again and ask for Mathea.
Recently I had an occasion to call Ashley HomeStore in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. How fortunate I was to have Mathea answer my telephone call. Since the item I was wishing to purchase was not in their inventory, she searched online, found the item, ordered it, and assisted me in the payment process. She notified me of the expected delivery date and notified me when it arrived in their warehouse. She even contacted me following her vacation to be sure delivery had been scheduled. All of the above was done via telephone calls and texts. In other words, Mathea was competent, thorough, helpful and courteous, and I will contact her for my next furniture purchase.

Did not like the pushy sales atmosphere and lack of clear pricing. This is the reason this place will go out of business when it's so much more straightforward to go to Wayfair or Burrow. If you need a salesmen to buy something nowadays you're either stupid or old and that's how you're used to doing it.
We were met at the door by sales associate Mathea. She was friendly and let us browse through the store without being bird dogged. When we did decide on a couch and loveseat she was extremely helpful with answering questions and making the sale. In addition she was able to give us suggestions on what to do with our old furniture. Definitely recommend Mathea and Ashley store as the staff was friendly and the price was right.
Good furniture at a good price
I went there by myself to buy new living room furniture. The place seemed a little busy but not enough to where you couldn't be noticed. I walked around for at least 30 minutes. Not one salesperson acknowledged me being in the store. What was a little upsetting was that the sales people helped other couples and customers, even walked right passed me to welcome the new customers that just walked in and completely ignoring me. The entire time I was there, I was never greeted or helped. On the way out, two sales people that were sitting by the front entrance, barely said good bye to me. Needless to say I went down the street to Rooms to go and and bought a beautiful new living room set.

I worked with Mathea who was very helpful and very nice. She was able to show us collections that we described and although the signage pricing at the showroom never matched the way the collection was staged (price on signage did not match the number of pieces displayed together...misleading) was able to give us more direct information. She did a good job with all of it and we would definitely work with her again. *** UPDATE: I haven’t received my furniture yet and will update my review once I do. It is scheduled to be delivered before May 28th I did ask for a swatch of the fabric so I could make sure the other elements of the room we are decorating will all work together but they do not have swatches. Not sure how to continue with decorating while we wait for the furniture to arrive. That’s a bit frustrating. And the reason for my 4 star review. ***Corporate approved for me to sign out a pillow in the fabric of my furniture so that I can pick the paint for the walls. I appreciate Mathea working on my behalf to accomplish that. She is definitely the one you want working with you.
The furniture came in quickly but it was a problem getting a delivery when it was promised and then when it finally arrived parts were missing for my table so it was never put together. I don't understand how you can let furniture out of your warehouse without all the parts. Good thing I only ordered one piece of furniture. Never shopping Ashley again. As a response to Ashley Furniture. I don't know what photos you were looking at but my table had no screws or the bottom shelf to hold it together so it was NOT assembled. Bonnie in your dispach office got the parts delivered and in good condition. Something no one else could seem to accomplish. She is the only bright spot to our experience.
Went and looked at furniture at multiple stores around the area, last but not least i stopped at Ashley furniture in myrtle beach. Mathea was nothing less then helpfull on everything inwas looking for. Gave her my ideas and we went to work looking. All of the inventory that we looked at together, mathea was exceptionally knowledgeable on every peice we looked at or that I even asked about. I will be back to see her for another awesome experience.

Terrible experience. I like Ashley furniture but was extremely dissatisfied with the service at this store. Dylan was incompetent and only cared about the sale. Stay away from him and this store. No wonder people shop online.
I Purchased an office desk and chair at Ashley furniture and the service was excellent. All personnel were very nice and helpful. My sales associate was Mathea and she was wonderful!! She was always available to speak to me and answered all of my many questions. She made this purchase go very smoothly. I would recommend seeing her when you stop in to Ashley furniture.
They were having their annual sale today, and even with the sale prices, the prices were outrageous. I've purchased several things from Ashley Furniture Home Stores in Ohio, and the prices were much more reasonable. All this said, the staff were friendly, and the quality of the merchandise was phenomenal, as usual.

She was wonderful then, very patient and very knowledgeable!! Her caring, sweet personality and how she treated me went beyond Custom Service or just a sale!! I came back into the store and asked for her. I'm sooo glad I did. She went over and beyond to make my experience beyond wonderful and she excelled all expectations of a sales agent, that I knew of!! She listened to my vision and excelled what I even wanted!! My stress of weekss of furniture shopping, she took away and made it all a breeze and fun!! She even stayed well over an hour past her time to get off, just to help me!! I still can't believe the furniture I have coming!! I'm extra excited!! Her spirit is angelic. I've never met anyone like her. I've never had such a pleasant experience in purchasing!!! I literally walked around the store with tears in my eyes because I couldn't believe how special she treated me and everything fell into place!! I’m not the type of person who really enjoys shopping, mostly because of the feeling of being pressured into buying something a salesperson wants to sell, rather than listening to find out what you want to buy. Mathea made it a good experience. She figured out quickly what I was looking for and directed me to pieces that were options. Me and my wife purchased furniture from here about a week and some change ago and we probably will from now on. As soon as we walked in we were met with a smiling face * Mathea" she was so nice and patient with us and she made sure we left the store happy. My husband and I went into the Myrtle beach store in February and were immediately greeted by a salesman named Dean. He was very helpful and we purchased over 8500 in new furniture. The deliver took longer than we thought but the delivery team were good and we are very happy with the furniture. We decided we needed end tables and I called the store and asked for the salesman that had helped us. He was not available and I left a message. He failed to return my call, so I called later in the day. I was told he was still with other customers but then told he would be with me soon. I told him who I was and what I wanted but was quickly told to order it on line. I quess when you are not in front of them so they can pressure sell, they are not interested in helping. Or the small end table sale was not as good as 8500 in store purchase. I am disappointed that I was not assisted and not sure if I will buy from them or not because of poor customer service. The quality of the furniture is very good, but I do not like being dismissed.

I asked to speak to the store manager and they said he was busy and will be back to me at the close of business??of course, no return call. I even asked if they could just give us the floor sample piece they had at the store... they told me the store manager will not do that. Well, the store manager should be fired. No concept of customer service and no care about the customer. I moved down to Myrtle Beach last summer and per my mom's recommendation I went to Ashley's to buy a new bedroom set. When it was delivered the night stand was not delivered with the rest of the set and the headboard, footboard, and dresser had many scratches and gouges in it, it looked awful! I called the customer care center and arranged to have a new set delivered. When I brought up that the night stand wasn't delivered I was told I didn't order one despite the receipt I had clearly stating I did. After some debate they "found" my night stand. So my bedroom set was delivered for a second time at the end of July. Again, it came with significant scratches and gouge marks all over the headboard, footboard, and dresser. I called the store and spoke with the sales manager Chris who sold me the set. He did offer to have me come into the store to look at the floor model but they looked just like the sets that had been delivered. I was pretty discouraged at this point and found Chris to not be very helpful in this process. Eventually we settled on delivering the set one more time and if it looked like the other two sets I would cancel my purchase. Finally, everything was delivered at the end of August. The dresser still had a gouge in one of the drawers that I was able to conceal but I feel like I shouldn't have to fix brand new furniture. The customer service of this place awful! I bought my furniture at the end of May and it wasn't until the end of August that I received furniture that was decent enough. I will not ever buy anything from Ashley's again, the whole experience was bad.
Horrible experience! Ordered sofa on line. ordered copplestone , they sent stone. I finally was able to contact rude person at Ashley online store. She said their records show I ordered stone......NOT!&"will try to get it picked up but you will have to pay for shipping (very expensive). I may have to keep this one. Warning!!! Do not order from Ashley. They will not help in any way and they are the rudest, most hateful, curt people I have ever tried to do business with. Save yourself a lot of stress.........shop elsewhere.
We had an amazing experience. Our sales rep Ms. Tracy greeted us at the door and worked with us like we were the only people in the world. She was very helpful and her customer service was extraordinary. I would recommend this store to everyone, because of Ms. Tracy alone.
We purchase a sectional at Ashley’s in December. We finally received it and it has a arm that doesn’t have any padding in it and the back of the sofa isn’t sewn correctly. They keep sending a company out to fix it and we are still waiting for them to fix it. Never offered to replace the piece. Would never purchase anything from this place again. People warned us and we didn’t listen!!!!!!

My family and I purchased furniture at the Myrtle Beach SC location and we were so happy with our whole experience. The sales associate that assisted us, Tracy, was wonderful, and all of the employees, ranging from the Store Manager, to the front office. Our furniture arrived for delivery on the expected date, delivered and assembled our couch and kitchen table and it looks beautiful!!!. I will be making more purchases with this store, and would highly recommend them as the customer service was outstanding, beautifully decorated, and they had a wide selection of furniture to choose from at a reasonable price.

We purchased a bedroom set for our guest room , a sleeper sofa and a dresser for our new condo! Bert was our sales lady, she went over and above to make sure our order was precise and delivered on Time! One of the pieces was back ordered, Bert did everything she could to get this piece to us when our other funiture was delivered. Her follow through was impeccable! Together with her manager of the store they worked very hard in making our experience with them very positive! All of our furniture was delivered on time and all together! Thanks to Bert & all her hard work! Bert will be the first person we see when we purchase the next needed items for our condo!

Purchased a sleeper sofa online. The delivery stated a call within 30 minutes of delivery which did not happen and the delivery time on the text differed from that on the confirmation page. I was not home for the delivery which had damage on the arm. It has been 2 weeks with constant emails sent. They even gave me a number of the third party repair company to call myself. I would not recommend the company for poor service after product purchase.

I walked into this store and every single employee was on their cell phone looking down. I had to find a sales person after walking around for 5 minutes. There were 2 sales associates assisting customers, but all others were on their cell phones. If you want more people buying in your store you may want to reconsider your cell phone policy. This was on Friday, Feb 1 at 4:20 PM.
We were in on January 18, 2019 to buy a table and chair set and Mathea Staley and was very helpful and very pleasant to deal with. She has called to do a follow-up and to she if everything is going good. I would highly recommend her.
We just bought a house in Myrtle Beach and needed to find a nice dinette for our dining room. Mathea was the best salesperson ever! She was patient, polite and fun to work with! Worst customer service I&'ve ever seen, was called three times to confirm furniture delivery for the next day, at the end of the day they call and leave a voice message from a real person instead of an automated machine left message 2 call to discuss delivery and Order when I called back in 10 minutes closed no phone being answered paid movers come and move all the furniture and put it in storage only to find out the next morning when they opened they weren&'t going to deliver my furniture should have left detailed message anything now we&'re sitting on the floor and they could care less and they&'re completely rude Tumi when I called their customer service people do not belong in customer service

She was right on target with her suggestions and when asked her opinion it was given with sincerity and honesty.A welcomed and appreciated characteristic.She was patient with me as I made my decision. She said she would let me know ETA and she did so timely. I asked for a picture of my items and she quickly forward it to me. She was friendly, knowledgeable about the products and was a pleasure to work with!!
My wife and i bought a couch on november 18th 2018, its is now january 14th 2019. Thats almost 2 months to the day and we still have no couch. Have called multiple times to keep getting the same old story that they keep pushing the shipping date back. All i wanted was someone to at least call there warehouse and get some ideas of whats going on with the furniture, something!!! is better than NOTHING!! Id love to be able to give and review of if this couch is good or not but kinda hard when theres nothing to sit on!!!! Would give this place negative stars if i could...
Good furniture
Tracy Begue was very patient & helpful while we debated over which sofa would best fit our needs. She has been keeping us up to date on the shipping & delivery schedule and we are looking forward to enjoying our new sofa in February.
I bought a couch and a chair from this store in Myrtle Beach. It took almost two months to get my furniture delivered. The store was no help at all. Now the spring on my couch and springs on my chair are coming out. I went back to the store and again no help. They gave me a number to call customer service. I called the number and was sent to voicemail. Unbelievable. I&'d never buy anything from this store again.
We have been very pleased with the work that Tracy Begue has given us. We have purchased our Living room furniture and she has been keeping us up to date on the deliver process just as she promised. You can not go wrong with her help.
I am very dissatisfied with my furniture, I had it a month when it started coming apart. They have send out 6 technicians And it’s not fixable I went to the store to speak with the manager and he told me that he will call me with a solution, we’ll its been months I still haven’t hear from him. I have purchased a lot of furniture from Ashley in the past years and I have never been treated like this. You would think that they will do good, my daughter came with me the day I purchased it and she like it so much that she brought the same one and her furniture looks great. I just called again and they are sending another technician. I must be the laughing stock of customer service.

Stacy was awesome. She didn’t hover and was very helpful and knowledgeable. I will be coming to see her again!
Ashley has more of a variety of ALL furniture than most other stores we visited, especially end tables/coffee tables. Don't know why other stores don't... We've always gotten our furniture here at Ashley because of the variety they offer.
