I was with my daughter furniture shopping and we were assisted by Cindy Smith. She was so very nice and answered all of our questions. She has the patience of a saint and never made us feel like we were taking up too much of her time. You have a wonderful employee in Cindy.

The guys were kind,polite worked quickly and cleaned everything up . I was very pleased with their work!!

From ordering to delivery, everything was perfect!

I purchased a sectional online, and I was welcomed to go see it at the warehouse before it was delivered so I was sure I liked it. It was for a very specific area and the modular pieces worked out great for my space. I got an electric recliner, a middle storage piece and a chaise lounge (not electrical lol). It feels and looks like a quality piece. I looked online for ever and Ashley was the only place that had what I was looking for. I think I'd go back in the future as I continue to redecorate our rental/vacation condo. The delivery was excellent. The gentlemen took all the packaging with them and it took them minutes to put it together. I am sure they have a lot of experience! Thank you Terrance and Rashad for a smooth in home experience.

On time and professional - reasons to shop at Ashley!

Do not buy from these people!!! Waited two weeks for our sofa. Paid for white glove delivery. Guy never took out of the box and tried to get it up the stairs on a dolly Brought up the cushions only. Had my 73 year old husband take off the door and left without helping him get it back on. Two competent experienced movers would have done it. Rooms to go came right after with a delivery. I gave him the dimensions of the sofa. He took the time to measure the door. He said he could have delivered it. Talked to Jim the store manager and he offered zero support. Believed the pic the driver gave him. Pics can be deceiving. Never attempted to sell us another sofa!!! Never in 71 years have had an experience with furniture delivery or movers!!

The only furniture store I will ever go back to. Their delivery timing was excellent and they didn't damage anything getting up 30 stairs to put a dresser and a bed and a night table in my home. They were quick and efficient and got the job done faster than I could ever imagine. But again the communication about delivery time the fact that they got there exactly when they said they were going to be there was just plain excellent. The furniture came without damage unlike other furniture stores I've dealt with.

This is what you get on delivery day and then the nightmares begins. I went through 2 sets and still have problems since day one. Sofa : one side of the recliner sofa the motor was broken and they had to come put a new motor in a new sofa ( new stuff should come working or be replaced ) and the recliner chair is a mess the back wobbles and makes noises, it is leaning to the left and falling apart. The frame was delivered all bent and when you sit in it the seat part makes metal noises too. I asked for a replacement or my money back. Because everything is always discontinued or they take months in-between ordering parts and someone to keep trying to fix it. I am so over this! Long story short ... I want my money back and they can have their furniture back gladly. 😩 most likely I will be stuck with this junk. The best part is they act like they are doing you the favor of fixing it. When it was a mess to begin with. My back and neck are killing me from sitting on this and I even went to the doctors and physical therapy. Just aggravating my symptoms.

My experience with Ashley Furniture has been nothing short of a nightmare. From the very beginning, the wrong mattress was ordered. I specifically asked for the hybrid version, yet somehow a single word difference resulted in me receiving an entirely different mattress. I called the same day it was delivered to report the mistake, expecting it to be corrected. Instead, I was told I had to keep the wrong mattress for 30 days, then I was charged a $590 restocking fee for an error that was not mine. To make it even worse, I was required to drive all the way to Myrtle Beach just to pick up a plastic mattress bag so they could haul away the mattress they delivered incorrectly in the first place. If their sales representatives had simply listened to what I asked for, none of this would have happened. That wasn’t the end of it. My ottoman arrived with a rip in the side. When they replaced it, they sent me another one with the exact same rip. The delivery drivers also showed up at 7:30 AM, two hours before the scheduled delivery window, with zero notice. No one took responsibility. No one offered real help. I was bounced around, blamed, and charged for their mistakes. This is some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced, and I will never do business with Ashley Furniture again. I would strongly recommend anyone considering them to think twice. 👎😤

I bought a chaise lounge couch, dining table with 4 chairs and a chair lift recliner…my new couch would not fit in my new apartment (movers wouldn’t move it because it was to big for doorways n elevator SO I wanted to take back to Ashley n exchange for a new one BUT THEY WOULD NOT DO IT!!! Couch was 1279.99$ n didn’t want money back just a cheaper smaller couch and no money difference back ( new couch was 350$) BUT NO GO SO WILL NOT RECOMMEND BUYING AT ASHLEY!!!

Kamala, Thomasina and Chelsea are the dream team pushing the cushions. They were all very helpful and did a great job with my sale. 10 out of 10 will be back for my living room!!!!

This place does not even deserve one star customer service terrible buy warranty and i am still waiting for them to repair my recliner i bought in June they delivered in August and brought a broken recliner and showroom furniture has more padding then what they deliver a big NO on this place …..

Great sales experience

It was so enjoyable and relaxing to shop and finally buy the furniture we loved after days of shopping at other stores. Thank you Cindy. You were the best.

Salesman lies and tells you 2-4 weeks and then when 4 weeks arrives they say “oh that was estimate” lies lies lies… was told 2-4 weeks for furniture and now it won’t even be at the warehouse until the 5th week and then who the hell knows when they will deliver it.

Order furniture on 8/23/25. The furniture finally arrived on 9/27/25 and was set for delivery on 10/4/25 with a window of 10:30am-1:30pm. So at 8:30am a call saying your furniture will arrive at 9 but I’m not there because my window was 10:30 to 1:30, but because they are getting off early and I thought my window was that time. I need to reschedule and wait another week or two. At this point keep that furniture and I will go to American warehouse and buy the furniture. It took them two minutes to swipe my debit card now they want me to wait weeks to refund the card. Also they are suppose to notify the customer within 24 hours of change and I got a two hour notice. Never again will I shop at Ashley’s Furniture in Myrtle Beach. Where was my call when my time change

Purchased a electric Fireplace for $1300 which we paid upfront and 1 week later we were called saying they made a mistake. the $1300 is just the cabinet the fireplace insert was a extra $800 for $2100 no electric fireplace is worth that. Below is one i brought for $550 so much better thru wayfair. Shame on Ashley's

We went there with our son a few months earlier. We were helped by a GREAT salesperson named Thomasina. When I came back about 7 months ago to purchase 2 rooms of furniture, I was helped by another female salesperson. I do not remember her name. I looked through the previous reviews because I am pretty sure that if I saw her name, I would remember it. Hopefully, she no longer works there. There were a few deliveries for me. One, with a sofa that would not fit through my door. I called and spoke to her. At first I wanted a refund, but I came in the next day because I did NOT want her to lose her sale, as the issue was not her fault. She was very dismissive and rude even though I asked for HER, for that purpose. I did update my order (the girls at the front of the store were also somewhat rude and unprofessional). It was several weeks later when I received my furniture, and the furniture was fine, but I will not be back to any Ashley Store. Edit: After reading some other reviews, I see her name. The unprofessional salesperson's name was Stacey.

We visited the store about 30 minutes before closing, already knowing what we wanted after browsing online and visiting a few months prior. As soon as we walked in, we were quickly reminded that they’d be closing soon, which made us feel rushed from the start. Our salesperson was not very personable—easily the least friendly of all the stores we’ve visited while couch shopping. Still, we found the couch we wanted within 15 minutes and decided to purchase. Unfortunately, we were told we couldn’t place the order because the credit card machines had already been shut down before closing time. We had to complete the transaction over the phone the next day. We told our sales person during this time that we also wanted to order an extra cushion, and she told us no problem just call up here and the ladies at the front can do that for you. Instead of allowing us to order it with the couch. After the couch arrived, we went online to order an extra cushion, but the site required a serial number. We called the store and were told our salesperson would call us back that day. She didn’t call until the next day and quoted us a price, only to call again later and say she gave us the wrong amount—it would actually be more. So we drove to the store, but she was busy, and the front desk had no information. They said she would call us. She eventually did and told us she couldn’t help us and that we’d need to contact customer service. I’ve tried, but every time I call the number listed, it just redirects me to the store. I also tried the online chat and was told again to call customer service or the store—which just leads me back in circles. To make matters worse, the delivery team scratched my brand-new floors. I replied to the delivery confirmation text (which asked how the delivery went) with photos and details, but no one has responded since. How do I go about sending an invoice for them to pay to repair my floor??? At this point, I’m extremely frustrated and genuinely regret this purchase (even though I do like the couch). The lack of follow-through, confusing communication, and unresolved issues have made what should’ve been a simple and exciting experience incredibly stressful.

I would have given 5 stars on the customer service since I have not received my recent order yet but did not because of one of the workers there, but before I start off with the negative experience, I want to highlight one of the sales reps there by the name of Kamela. Literally from the door she was extremely nice, informative and patient through the process of assisting my husband and I look for furniture. Kamela gave us some great information about multiple pieces of furniture at the store and what would work best for us and our family. Not at any point did she seem annoyed or bothered by us and we were not feeling rushed by her. Toward the end of our visit when we decided on what we were going to purchase, another worker by the name of Brandi Weaver came up to me and Kamela with an attitude to see what my name was for a Progressive application since I was having some issues with their link they sent me and the QR code. Well I figured while I wait for the other staff member(NOT Brandi) who was on hold with Progressive, I go onto google and search Progressive Leasing there. When I got onto their site I noticed it was working and I could fill the application out. I realized they have multiple stores you can get approved for a line of credit through so I typed in Ashley furniture and the store I was at popped up with their address so I knew that was their store where I was at. When Kamela let Brandi know we did not need help that I was already approved with Progressive, Brandi says to me “how did you get the site to work?” I explained how I did it and Brandi (with a VERY demeaning attitude) says well you probably did it wrong and you got an Amazon approval not Ashley furniture approval. I said no its for this store and as I went to show her that it was for her store and she cut me off, huffed and walked away to the computer with a hard attitude and said to Kamela “whats her name!”While she was at the computer where my name was displayed she wrote my name down and continued to TOTALLY dismissed me and stormed off. Kamela apologized multiple times for her behavior and truly if I did not work with Kamela I would have cancelled everything right then and there and left without bothering to make the purchase that had a total nearing $6,000. I was so infuriated at how demeaning, rude and unprofessional this Brandi lady was because I had no issues at all the entire time I was with Kamela. I do NOT think that anyone with the type of demeaning, nasty attitude that Brandi had should be working with customers. Not only did she try to insinuate that I was clearly an idiot who could not read or write in order to select the correct store but dismissed me in total as an adult. It is a shame because my husband and I were going to buy additional furniture from here but after this purchase we will not be coming back because of how Brandi made me feel. In the event I do come back I will solely work with Kamela because of her kindness and professionalism.

We found our salesperson, Chris, to be unreliable as he failed to submit our furniture order in a timely manner. The unexpected delay in our furniture delivery prompted us to inquire about it through phone calls (resulting in little assistance) and finally, to meet with the store manager, who was able to pinpoint the origin of the problem and the reason for the delay. Had Chris followed up with us about his negligence, we would have certainly been more understanding. Highly dissatisfied with his service.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS BRAND!!! They took 2 years to deliver a bed frame I got and I had to fight tooth and nail to get it delivered. Many hours spent on calls and many emails. Also, check your receipts if you decide to risk buying from there. They will have the right numbers but when you add up subtotal, delivery and taxes there will be an invisible charge of over $300 for a warranty you didn’t ask for. There is MANY people this has happened to and will for sure turn into a class action lawsuit.

I don't usually do reviews but I am this one I would not recommend Ashley furniture to anyone they lie about delivery time big time they tell you there is no delivery fee but they sneak a 10% delivery fee on the bill to deliver a mattress buyer be ware especially if you are buying a bed read every line very carefully on you bill

Spent more money than I expected. Went in for a couch and left with a couch and mattress and movable base. Our sales person, Thomasina, was awesome. Extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend seeing her if you need furniture. Many places to buy from so it makes a difference in the person you are buying from.

We purchased a home in area but we live many states away. Thomasina Watts helped me with ordering a sectional couch and went above and beyond when the delivery team said they couldn't deliver on the date I would be down there. I reached out and Thomasina took care of it for me knowing I was only in town 2 days. Not only did she provide wonderful customer service in the ordering of my item but she stepped in for the delivery phase when needed. I can't thank her enough. I was on the verge of cancelling my order - but now I will go to Ashley Furniture first for my furniture needs.

BUYERS BEWARE!!! I purchased 36 pieces from the Myrtle Beach store, 12 pieces needed a technician to fix. And 3 had to be replaced… Desirae from customer care takes over at that point and she is miserable to work with, she argues with you, talks over you, tries to say the damage is normal… reorders the pieces only for them to arrive damaged we are going on 3 post purchase deliveries so far that have been unsuccessful in delivering undamaged furniture and I am 6 months into this…. Horrible customer service and especially at the corporate level!!! Stay away from this company!!!

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a great vibe. Atlantis, our Design Consultant with a stunning name, quickly assessed our needs and pointed us in the right direction to begin exploring. A little later on our venture, Atlantis came to meet us again to help. We were educated on styling options and the ability to customize sofas to match our needs. Atlantis was a great help on our search and the reason we will return to Ashley Furniture in the future. Outstanding customer Service.

I bought a recliner from Ashley’s about 3 months again part of the reclining bracket broke within a week called to get it replaced. They said there sending a part for us to call them when it arrives almost 2 1/2 months later we get the part and call they said someone with call back in 5 to 10 business days to schedule a repair. Then went on to say it’ll be about a month before someone can come repair it. They would not take a return so now I’ve been stuck with a broken chair for 3 month worst place to buy furniture. They do not care about their customers.

Absolutely love the staff at this location. Jim and Rebecca were incredible helping us choose the right mattress for my daughter who has some complex medical conditions. They spent time listening to our needs and searched high and low down the perfect mattress!!! So appreciative of their help.

Second time I bought from Ashley furniture and salesperson was nice enough I bought everything paid for it not more than 3 hours after I get home there's a problem I paid $275.00 for delivery to my mom and assisted living memory Care about a floor model recliner for her to sit in and now all of a sudden as soon as I get home I'm called is there any way you can pick it up after I paid the $275 to have everything delivered they wanted to know if I could pick up the floor model cuz they could not store it.l made very clear i needed this on 26th .I bought it on April 26th a month away and wanted to know if I could come get it so here we go it's going to be a problem after problem I can tell already. I was born and raised in horry county I've been around this beach for a long time and I bought furniture from Ashley furniture for two rentals that I had completely in each time I had a problem so after 15 years I decided to go back to help my mother and this is what I encounter once again I don't mind paying but I do expect customer service from the restaurants I own from the rental property that I own customer service is number one with me and this is ridiculous.All you had to do is tell me that we can not accommodate you we could have gone another route.

I was in your store Monday and your sales rep Mia was very helpful and welcoming. I was just looking to get ideas for my mom and mentioned my back pain, she then asked If she could show me something and I'm so glad she did. I can not wait to get my adjustable base, I know that it is going to be a benefit to my back issues and is why I chose to purchase. Great asset to ashley, and not pushy more of just helping you, GO SEE MIA, you won't be disappointed.

We went to Ashley Furniture to look at furniture. Our Design Consultant, Cindy Smith, was fantastic. She was so helpful and nice and very knowledgeable We ended up buying lots of beautiful furniture. I highly recommend Cindy to help you with your furniture needs!

Worse experience Wanted to stop in for a second look, didn’t have (or remember, her card was in our other vehicle ) our salesperson name. The “next in line” salesperson was rude, disrespectful and unkind. I walked out and won’t be buying anything here. This was totally unacceptable behavior.

So disappointed… bought an entire dining room set and hutch in January. Finally delivered yesterday and part of the dining table damaged. Hutch has small damage lower front. It’s VERY disheartening spending thousands of dollars and waiting months for delivery to be disappointed the day it arrives. Why would this company even put it on a delivery truck damaged? We now have to cancel functions in our home because we have no dining set. We sold our original one in January. Now we have to wait for Ashley to call us to remedy the problem ( more waiting). Have to wait for technician to come to see about the hutch ( more waiting ) AND to make matters worse… we only received 6 chairs and we purchased 8 Didn’t have this problem when we purchased an entire 4 bedroom home of new furniture from Ashley’s competitor in 2019. Now we wait and if it’s not resolved by April 1st everything is being returned and our thousands of dollars will be returned.

Visited this store for the first time in search of a leather sectional. They had alot of options and Cindy was very helpful!

Nice people, nice furniture and accessories, but high prices. Looked here twice, ended up buying 3 rooms of furniture (same quality) elsewhere, and saved about $2K.

Overpriced and not great quality, also the pricing is unclear, they show a price for store financing purchases but not for cash so you would have to keep asking how much the items were, so strange!! chose to purchase elsewhere...

We previously worked with Thomasina, who was fabulous! We got a beautiful couch and chair, financing options that worked for us, smooth delivery, and overall a great deal! Thomasina was so kind and hilarious. Buying furniture is not the most fun task, but she made it a great experience.

I visited this store to purchase a mattress and chose the Beautyrest Black Series 3 with medium comfort. However, when the mattress was delivered, I received one with plush comfort instead. I only realized this after two weeks when I started experiencing back pain, as I would sink too much into the mattress. At that point, we considered exchanging it for a firm mattress, assuming that the medium comfort model was supposed to feel like the one we had received. This seemed strange to us because when we tested the medium comfort mattress in the store, it didn't feel this way. Once we discovered the mistake, we decided to request either the model we had originally selected or a firm one, since the error was not ours but the salesperson's, who had selected the wrong mattress code. When we reached out to resolve the issue, we were informed that we would need to pay $99 for delivery and an additional $250 for mattress depreciation. We asked whether these fees would still apply if we simply received the correct mattress—the one we originally ordered—and were told that yes, the charges would still be applied, as it was part of the store's system. Before purchasing, I had read some online reviews mentioning issues with returns and exchanges, but I never expected to go through the same experience myself. It is extremely disappointing that, due to a salesperson's mistake, we are being held responsible for the consequences. The only person who truly tried to help us was Shariff. an outstanding individual.

Update 3/26/2025: Went here on Monday March 10th 2025 with my mom, dad and uncle to purchase another dresser from my set from Ashley Furniture. We did request Chris, but he might have been on lunch or something, and we were getting tired of waiting, so we requested another person to help us. Dawna helped us purchase another dresser for my bedroom. To save money, she offered something called Threshold Delivery, which lost less. Dawna was pleasant to work with, and easily got us on our way. We paid via credit card. Fast Foward to March 22, when we got our delivery, we opened the dresser and realized that the legs to the dresser isn't attached, so therefore we saved money, but some assembly is required. Now i can't remember if Dawna mentioned to this or not but, little did we know that Threshold Delivery means that there is some assembly required. So in turn a suggestion would be to make sure that if your workers offer the Threshold Delivery, that they mention that there is some assembly required. Especially considering that some people may not know how to, or is not handy enough to know or want to assemble the product. Still definitely recommend Ashley though! -Went here on Monday February 10th 2025 to look at furniture with my aunt and mom for our new house. Chris greeted us in the front, and told us the layout of the store, plus where to find him if we needed him. We told him that we were just browsing. Like any furniture store, this has bedroom sets, couches, dining rooms, decorations and more! We were browsing around the store, was looking, looking,- from the corner of my eye, i found a nice sled bed that i absolutely loved! Please note: we've been to other furniture stores, and not one of them had a sleigh bed- and it was so beautiful in person! We got Chris, who priced it for us at 38,000 for dresser, chest, 2 nightstands, and bed. Chris was quick to quote it for us. He also quoted a bed that my mom priced as well. We had more stores to check out, so we headed out for now. _______________________________________________________________________________ Fast forward to later on that day, went back here with my dad now. After measuring my room and making sure the setup worked, and researching online, we came right back here. Asked for Chris in the front, and he helped us complete the sale for the bedroom set that i loved! Chris was very pleasant throughout the whole time, and helped pick out a mattress as well. He also was able to price match as online showed up as 28,000. Purchased the whole set. They said delivery would take 2 weeks at least. Walked out with a smile on my face that day! Highly Recommend Chris! ________________________ Fast forward to Saturday February 15th, they called and said that all my furniture was ready for delivery! Kudos to the constant communication with my mom. They delivered my furniture on Saturday February 22nd. Some items did arrive a little chipped, but i believe we are in the process of getting that taken care of. Kudos to the fast delivery! Again Highly Recommend and will Definitely be back for more furniture!

I bought the LINDYN sectional from the store and they make it sound like it’s the best product ever made. customer service There is none. The manager says you can call anytime you want but they’re never around or return a phone call once the sale is made you have to go through customer service through Ashley corporate office and they basically Say that your claims are false, and have never heard of anything to their furniture before From any other customers or the manufacturer, which is Ashley. If I was a customer and I was looking for furniture, no matter where and Ashley furniture store is I would stay far away from it. I know it looks great, but this is the third claim that I’ve had on this same sectional and all they do is send me another one that is faulty And will need to be replaced again. Buyer beware if you buy anything from this company

Good pricing and selection is diminished with horrible service and managers less than empathetic demeanor. If you are set just on price then go for it. If you still care about service stay away.

One of the worst retail experiences I have had! I ordered a bed for 3 grand, made sure with the store manager chris that the frame we picked out did not need a box spring. He assured us that the mattress could sit on the frame. The day before they came my phone was blowing up about confirming the date and a window of time for the delivery. Delivery day came and they showed up hours ahead of schedule, then the installer asked us where the box spring was at and that we needed one. He also told us that this frame came in different styles and could be used without one. So I immediately called the store and spoke to chris to try and figure out why this mistake had happened. All he wanted to do was sell me a box spring at an additional cost. After a series of calls back and forth where my question still wasn't answered, he continued to try and give me a box spring. Very dissatisfied I told him to forget the box spring and he gave me a $200 credit, then finally apologized for the inconvenience and hung up. So now I have a mattress in my hallway and a bed frame that needs some plywood or a box spring. All this happening 4 days from Christmas. Ashleys will never get my business again.

Chris was disinterested in listening to us or talking with us. He did not know his products. when asked a question, he did not know he laughed, turned, and walked off, exhibits rude behavior. When returning, he would not speak to both of us, just my wife. He is a GOOD reason not to shop at that Ashley store.

We bought 3 identical chairs delivered yesterday. Putting the first one together and the leg splits. The other 2 were not opened. I want to return all 3 but after talking with customer service and answering all their stupid questions and sending pictures and gathering information they already have, I was told they will send me an email within 3-5 days of their decision on whether I can return or not. This is Totally unacceptable. I will never deal with Ashley furniture again. The more I look at these 3 boxes setting in my kitchen the madder I am getting and the more reviews I will write. Wonderful experience from the moment we walked in to the delivery of our sectional sofa. Our salesperson person, Sharif Jimenez was knowledgeable about the Ashley Performance Fabric that we were interested in and explained the care and benefits. We also chose to add the insurance protection plan which Sharif clearly explained. No pressure sales approach and great follow up. We love the new sectional!

Very disappointed in there scheduling, my furniture was supposed to be delivered today. I ordered two pieces. When they called yesterday, they told me that they were delivering both pieces today when the truck showed up, they only had one piece of furniture on there for my delivery. Spoke with a person who did the scheduling and he stated that he’s sorry he messed up told him how dissatisfied I was and someone from corporate called and said the other piece of furniture has not even shipped from the manufacturer. So as of now, no delivery date for second piece. I removed my old furniture from the house because they told me that they were being delivered today so now left with no furniture except for one chair.

From the moment we walked in, the staff at Ashley were so kind and helpful. Mia, our salesperson, listened and knew just where to direct my mom and I to find the right sofa for her. Our sofa was delivered in a timely manner. Cory and Kenny, our delivery team, were so patient and careful maneuvering our sofa in the condo. A great all around experience! Thank you.

We had a 5 star experience with Mia F. and the customer service team. Love our sectional and end tables and are very pleased with purchase and delivery. Wait time was approximately two weeks.

It's my first and definitely the last time I will buy anything here. I purchased a bed in July. I asked if the was sturdy and I was yes and that it's a good buy. From the day it was install all I can get is noise. I had to go and buy boards to reenforces it because my mattress was going down in holes. Don't even mention the screws kept falling out, because they were short. I called and told them about it,they sent out a bunch of adjustments kits and said someone would come and looked at it. He did came and nothing could done about it. I got a faulty bed and now I have to keep paying for it , because they will not take it back or exchanged it.

I told her what I had in mind, my budget, when I needed it and she checked all the boxes. She was not pushy at all and I loved her personality. I could not have been happier with her help! She should be acknowledged as a wonderful asset to the store. I will return to the store and seek her out for future purchases. 5 stars to Mia!

The front people are very nice and try to help you. The frustrating part is everything has to be ordered. Nothing is in stock. And if it's on sale you cannot have it delivered a little frustrating the delivery fees are too high in my opinion especially considering all the competition they have around them.

I still need my porch fixed ... When customer service Jody called to inform me that I have a hole in my son's porch. I was stunned to find out the delivery men reported dropping a bedframe though my porch.. that was Feb 8 2024.. today is May 19th 2024 .. the porch is falling apart and I find out alll this time .. it's not getting repaired. I have been with 4 customer service reps and nothing got done ... But they did come back to pick up the beat up broken bed frame as a courtesy.. so is my broken porch a courtesy also? They lost transcripts and keep telling me I called them to tell them about the hole in my porch but they called me ..I stated this fact because Jody called me to explain how and why i have a broken porch... Since Jody quit ... I get screwed into a broken porch and they conveniently lost that phone call .. I wonder is that a courtesy also? .. my child waited over 90 days to get a refund when it's supposed to be ten days... I guess that's a courtesy too... I wish I could post pictures of the porch so you can see the condition of it because it's a trampoline now and can't be used ... My son bought this home in July 2023... All deliveries are now stopped because of Ashley furniture. No table no chairs no nothing at all in the home... Thanks a lot Ashley furniture.....

Please save yourself a lot of trouble and do not order from this store. Chris the assistant manager offers no help. They do not tell you the truth and just want a sale. I purchase furniture for homes and this is the worst experience I have ever had. Go anywhere else if you know what is good for you.

Refused to accept 2 mattresses for delivery. Holding me hostage until next week and they are open! Then kicked me off the property! Don't deliver here! And smiled in my face as she was refusing to take the 2 mattresses.

We purchased a couch, loveseat, and recliner from Tammy Gosnell in February. She was wonderful to work with especially after having a negative experience at the Shallotte, NC store. We went back to Tammy because of her kind, helpful, non- pushy way in conducting sales transactions. We would not hesitate to buy from Tammy again.

Nic choices but what we went for only had a display and on order. We asked about buying the display as we needed something now but the manager wouldn't sell it even though it had some scratches and chips. A little disappointed as we were willing to pay full price if necessary. Also website says free delivery and store wants 39.95 to deliver. Ordered one and told would be a couple of days and now going to be a good bit longer.

The sales person, Chris, was extremely helpful. We placed our order and that went very smoothly. Awaiting delivery.

My salesman Chris was great, but that was where the good experience ended. I ended up walking out because of their inability to take my payment in a timely fashion. An employee should not tell a customer to go sit down and we’ll call you when we’re ready to take your payment. There were zero other customers at the large checkout counter. And when you reply, after already sitting and waiting for several minutes, that you don’t want to be told to sit down and just want to pay, the same employee says that I would be making the cashier nervous because I’m hovering rather than sitting down! Hovering? I was at least 10 feet away from the person that finally was going to help me. A customer should never feel like they are doing you a favor by buying something and waiting until you are ready for them to pay - HORRIBLE customer service.

I usually don't leave many reviews but absolutely felt the need to! I arrived the other day at the Ashley store just to get some ideas for my kids and I for our future home. I first met Christine M And she was super sweet and helpful! After a while of walking around I got to also deal with Jim D who was also a huge help and neither of them made me feel rushed or pushy like some places make you feel. After lots of looking around with 3 young ones they started to get a little hungry and she even gave them a little snack to cheer them up! I would absolutely recommend going to this store and cannot wait to deal with them a whole lot more! Thank you both again 💓 we will be seeing you soon!

Excellent value and good quality - 5 stars. I purchased it in the store via online photos, and the furniture, when delivered, exceeded my rxp expectations. I've purchased from Ashley before in Florida. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is due to the salesperson not following up on my delivery, which was 4-5 weeks late. I understand there are priduction issues. Please just follow up. The manager, I think his name is Chirs, was great and helped resolve my issue. The delivery team was 5 stars!

From the sales lady (Deborah Lopes) to the delivery men, our whole experience with Ashley's Furniture was wonderful! Ans, it's not the first time we bought excellent furniture and were treated very, very well. Wouldn't think of going anywhere else for our furniture needs.

When they try to sell you furniture saying you can exchange it if anything happens to it, it is just a sales tactic to sell you the item. Their exchange department does not believe in exchanges and will do everything in their power not to do it. No idea why they have this 'exchange at anytime ' policy to begin with.

Deborah was wonderful as I told her I knew exactly what wanted, but then she showed me the dressers I wanted in a grey option which I didn't see on line. I really liked it and she placed my order, added delivery and protection. She also emailed me with delivery and is coming in sooner than anticipated. Deborah was courteous and knowledgeable about product. I would recommend her to friends and family.

Not very good inventory

I worked with Brian Zipay on a new couch purchase. This was the second round of furniture shopping with him & he’s incredible! Knowledgeable, trustworthy, not pushy, and ensured the couch would fit & look nice. He answered all of my questions & made sure the delivery happened quickly. If you go to Ashley Furniture, ask to work with Bryan. You’ll be so grateful you did!

We purchased a sofa, loveseat, wdge and recliner January 2023. The sofa is already worn out even though there is only my husband and myself in the house. I last called for service on the sofa and they added stuffing but he didn't replace the seat even though it was sent to me. He said it didn't need it and now it really looks worn. I've had nothing but disappointment with this set. I am a life long customer who had recommended my son and brother in law to them and now I'm sorry they got the businesses because being told it's normal wear and tear just means it's poor quality. Buyer be ware...the products made in Vietnam are not worth buying and this customer received no satisfaction from shopping Ashley.

Just finished shopping and I can't say enough great things about my experience. From our salesman Brian to all the other employees that always took the time to say hello as we passed each other in the store. I highly recommend this store.

My wife and I had a great experience picking out new living room furniture recently, and the deciding factor for us to buy here versus somewhere else was the amazing salesperson we had, Sherena Shaw. We had been to several other stores before stopping here, dealing with what is often typical in a furniture store, a "used car " type salesperson that tells you what you want to hear and tries everything they can to keep you from walking out the door without buying something. Sherena treated us like we were real people, listened to our needs, and even played along when we would make silly jokes about some of the names of the furniture. She gave us space to look around, but was always ready to answer any of our questions. When we told her we needed to go home and measure our space and think about this purchase, she didn't push the sale on us knowing we weren't ready. When we were ready we made sure to come back while she was working because we didn't want to deal with anyone else. If you are looking for furniture here, make sure to ask for Sherena.

Looking at the furniture with the sales person and her guiding us to things that we told her we wanted was a pleasure. Christine was knowledgeable and we were excited about our purchase. However, I was very disappointed with the paperwork which took an hour. Then we call the about delivery. Some of the products won’t be in stock until the end of November which is not what we were told in the store

So happy with the purchase of the Garristown 3-piece power reclining living room set. The pieces look great and are very comfortable. Dawna was great at helping us make a selection, she was patient and attentive. She answered all our questions and showed us pieces of what we were looking for. Delivery guy was also friendly and prompt, he did a great job setting everything up. Process took about 2 weeks.

I purchased a bunch of furniture from Ashley in 2021. My salesman told me it was going to show up in 4-6 weeks and ended up taking 6 months. The seam ripped on the cushion recently and I put in a warranty claim for it. The warranty company called me and told me the claim was denied because they do not cover rips. The salesman at the time told me that the warranty covers any type of damage no matter what happens. I will never buy another piece of furniture from you guys again.

Beautiful store with great selection and quality furniture for every room, as well as thoughtful and innovative features on individual pieces. Everyone was very friendly, from the front desk to the manager. We met our salesperson, Deborah, upon walking in, and she quickly shared her knowledge of everything we asked about from mattresses to dining tables and everything in between. There was not one question we asked that she wasn’t able to answer quickly, thoroughly, and in a way we could understand. She was friendly and enthusiastic, and we would recommend her, as well as this store specifically, to anyone!

So my wife and I went to Ashley in Myrtle Beach earlier this year and put some livingroom furniture on layaway and out down $550. Due to circumstances beyond our control we were unable to complete the purchase in the allotted time. I went into the store today thinking I had a $550 credit so was going to complete the purchase on something more in value. When i went to the counter the girl informed me the layaway was cancelled which I suspected. She then told me we have no credit that we forfeit the credit per agreement. these sales reps dont explain the agreement so you put your faith in them ( bad on me that won't happen twice.) They move along so fast that they dont even allow enough time. SO I asked about getting the credit to apply to a larger purchase as we didnt want the cash back. The lady beyond the counter was beyond rude about it repeating its in the paperwork. I explained our situation and she didny even try to resolve the issue or offer solution just basically pound salt in rude tone. So I decided we wont purchase there anymore and told her they would be hearing from the lawyer. Not sure it will go anywhere however there has to be some protection. Forget about the lawyer even where is the " Customer satisfaction" "Customer is always right" or even basic human decency. I am in sales and I am huge on a perfect customer experience and meeting or exceeding customers expectation. This is a poorly run store never have I ever been treated to poorly. Not only were we buying much higher dollar amount this would have turned into whole house gradual upgrade. Now not only will I never go back I will be sure to let people know about my experience and send them someplace much more customer friendly. Again we werent asking for money back just an upgrade in the sale price. Most other businesses would have been happy to have that sale. Hope that woman gets reprimanded for the way she treats people. Ashley Homestore has the best selection of furniture, I had to look no more after coming to this store and found a perfect bedroom set and mattress. Dawna Stone was amazing with assisting me through the process!!

I purchased an entire bedroom set. We were talked into an adjustable mattress and frame. I was told that that frame would fit correctly into the king sized bed that was purchased. When all the pieces were finally delivered ( different delivery times), the delivery team set everything up. When we used the adjustable frame the screws that were meant to hold the slats tore the fabric on both sides of the foundation! Obviously, the bed and frame are not compatible!! After many phones calls to the store and corporate, they told us there are no refunds. They replaced the adjustable frame, but there are screw holds in the side rails! Looks horrible!! The nightstands that supposedly have phone chargers in them, do not work with iPhones… waste of money… Customer service is horrible! There is no such thing as customer satisfaction at Ashley Furniture. After spending many thousands of dollars there, I am highly disappointed and would never recommend them to anyone!

I purchased a new mattress from Costco, which will be delivered on the 31st. They only had a 7” low profile box spring and I wanted a 5”. I goggled what I wanted and Ashley Furniture popped up with exactly what I wanted. So I called the store and was given Deborah to assist me. She was prompt in giving me my two size options for my king bed, their respective prices and said she could get it ordered today. I appreciate her courteous manner and diligence to get my box spring ordered today.

Donna with assist for Chris, her manager got us thru the stressful process. Please considering upgrading tech to give sales people iPads that they can scan and add to a shopping cart in store. Current process is painful. After we made initial purchase, we added more remotely. Chris was helpful. Movers showed up 10 minutes early for time but timing was perfect. They were really hard working, showing a great degree of care and concern for us. Zero damage to house and furniture arrived is perfect condition. Very happy we went to Ashley’s and glad Donna and Chris were our representatives. We have a few more rooms to complete, we will be back.

EW! That's all I can say. Cheap furniture, awful customer service! Took 11 days to get a credit refund approved..and it was after I filed a dispute with my CC. I bought a set in the past and the paper actually peeled off the bed and bureau..exposed particle board. That was after they told me it was all wood. The manager wrote to me that she would fix it..never did!

3 years ago we bought a sofa sleeper and loveseat and other things. We paid for a 4 year Warranty. The couch is definitely not worth the money. It looks like a 10year old peice of furniture and the sofa bed needed to be repaired and by the time they contact you and then set up a date to repir it, it will be 4 months. I wouldn't go back

Had a terrible experience with the sales managers. After spending over $3000. They were complete snakes in the grass. Worst consumer experience I've ever had. They were great up until they got my money. I would not recommend them to anyone. Personally will never return. There only saving grace is the delivery team. Which by the way is a 3rd party company.

My entire house was purchased from Ashley. Moved to Myrtle Beach and decided I needed a few more furniture. Staff was not interested in providing assistance and selection was minimal. Very disappointing.

My husband and I were looking for a sofa or sectional and thought we’d start our search at Ashley Furniture. We were greeted warmly at the door by Deborah. Deborah was extremely helpful and patient while we searched the entire store. There was no hard sell. Deborah was there when we needed her and she gave us the space we needed to make our decision. We found the perfect sofa and ottoman plus lots of really nice accessories I wasn’t even planning on! Any time I need furniture, I’m going right back to Ashley and I’m asking for Deborah!

Came here in December to look at mattresses and the sales manager Chris showed me Tempur -pedic mattresses. They hide the price and once you fall in love with them they show you it costs $3-4000. But don't worry because they have a 90 day guarantee. But if that is not in your budget we have an Ashley store brand similar for only $1000. He takes you over to show you and it feels ok so you order it. They deliver it and set it up and the first night it's like sleeping on a board. You call the store and they tell you that there is no trial period but it should break in after 30 days. B.S. Still hard. It conforms to your body but its just as hard. This is the most uncomfortable mattress we have ever bought and slept on. So disappointed. We planned on furnishing our whole house from there but will never return. STAY AWAY!
