Best and easiest furniture shopping experience. James made the entire process extremely painless and go seamlessly. We have followed James from previous furniture stores and will only work with him because of his amazing customer service. We look forward to return to Ashley Furniture for the remainder of our furniture needs in the near future.

They gave us a really good deal which I am extremely happy about. I sent my father to pick up the stuff and they did not give us everything. My wife went in the next day and asked about it. They argued with her saying they gave us the items when I was on a video call and the items were not there. I took everything out of the room and brought everything upstairs and the moment I tried to assemble my new furniture I noticed I couldn’t put it together because two main pieces were missing. The younger guy in the warehouse then continued argue with my wife calling my father a migo not in a rude way, but very disrespectful in my opinion. When my wife said that it’s my father in law he then apologized. We do live 45min away and it was a waste a time for us to make a second trip.

VERY disappointing & sleezy sales tactics... In the first picture you can see where it states "price is as shown on the floor". Not just misleading- an outright LIE. It's for a much smaller configuration than the one shown in the second picture (what IS shown on the floor). Only for a salesperson to come price it out for you and then they "DiScOvEr" that its not actually being sold for that price. Then they'll attempt to use their "newfound" wiggle room power that they didnt have 5 minutes earlier to lower it a couple hundred dollars by removing warranties, etc, and still not getting it down anywhere near what is advertised for. This was the case on several others as well! Really not cool with this manipulative behavior to make a sale!

I was traveling overseas and needed help to purchase a new dining room set for a dear friend. I got in touch with a associate named Matt and he walked me through the entire process. The next day l was anxious about the delivery date and reached out to him to me and settled my mind. A big shout out to his awesome customer service. Thanks Matt

I ordered a couch, bed frame, and nightstand from Ashley Furniture at this location back in August, and it’s now been over two months without receiving any of the items. The delivery was repeatedly delayed, and when we called to get an explanation , we were told we’d receive a partial refund, which barely covered half of the delivery costs— but that never happened. After canceling the order, we were promised a full refund within 48 hours, but that call never came. We even visited the store in person to try and resolve the issue, and once again, the staff dropped the ball. The manager, James, was unhelpful and unapologetic. Instead of taking ownership or offering any real solution, he told us they “needed another day” and then pretty much walked away from us. His only suggestion was that we could “go look at the clearance section if you want something today,” which was completely unacceptable considering the situation. We also expressed our frustration about not having our merchandise for over two months and explained that we just wanted a refund so we could purchase furniture from somewhere else. But now, we’re still waiting for that refund, leaving our hands completely tied. Once again, James provided minimal accountability and showed little to no concern for resolving the issue or making things right. The communication throughout this entire process has been extremely poor, and the management has shown a complete lack of accountability or concern for customer satisfaction. We’ve now waited weeks for a resolution and are still left without our merchandise or refund. I can honestly say I will never shop at Ashley Furniture again, and I will absolutely be telling everyone I know about my experience at this location and how horrible the service, accountability, and management have been. As someone who’s been a manager in the retail industry for over 15 years, I would be extremely concerned that this is how business is handled at a store, and that these are the type of employees and managers that are responsible for handling customer issues in solving problems. I strongly advise caution if considering shopping at this location.

Horrible customer service from the North Charleston store. Especially Savanah, a so called customer service employee. They will not go out of their way to help or try to figure out a problem. I don’t understand that concept when a person can go anywhere else for furniture. It boggles the mind. Now I have to go to Lowe’s to get a tool to put my furniture together myself. What a poor excuse for a business. People, go elsewhere!
