Ashley Furniture exceeded our expectations with quality products and outstanding service. We are thoroughly enjoying the furniture that has been delivered, and we are anxiously awaiting the final items. Heather facilitated our excellent experience at Ashley Furniture. She allowed us to peruse the store at our own pace and focus on our choices while she kept track of our items as we added and deleted them. She was very, very pleasant throughout the experience. Our first visit lasted for hours, and she never once rushed us but encouraged us to take our time. We even had to take a break to eat, and she encouraged us to relax and not worry. We had time to think through our choices and feel confident with our decisions. She reviewed all of the details with us before any payment was made. She was like dealing with Nordstrom's quality service, and she continued to follow up well beyond our in-store shopping. She has continued to check on our deliveries, add new items, and answer questions as they came up. Her support team and management also support her. Heather truly shines. We are pleased with the unique items we found. The quality and value are well above what we had anticipated. We will be back!

We moved from Long Island NY to Summerville SC last Sep 23 to our retirement home. We came here with just about nothing for the house. Knowing Ashley store from NY we decided to look into your store for all our needs for the new home. We were greeted by Abby at the door and within minutes we realized that we were dealing with the right consultant .We spent about two hours and Abby guided us through the entire store selecting the entire furniture needed for our new home in Summerville. There was no selling pressure from Abby ,instead a lot of patience and giving ideas of what we needed. We bought bedrooms, living room, dining room furniture and carpets. Also all the mattresses . After we settled in we went back and bought more carpets. We know that we have someone in your store that respects the customer and knows her products .Our friends from New York just moved to Summerville and they also used Abby for their needs and are very pleased. I was wanting an extra wide recliner, and while searching the internet, I came across this particular recliner that might be what I was looking for. I went to Askley Furniture Store in North Charleston, SC and I was met as I entered the store by Andrea M., a Sales Associate. I introduced myself, as she did to me, and I proceeded to tell her what I was shopping for in a recliner. As we talk, both of us found out, both of us had a lot in come. We were from the same state, Ohio, the same town in Ohio, Hamilton, and had graduated from the same High School in Fairfield, Ohio. Of course, in different years! Andrea, right away, went to work in showing me the different Recliners that Ashley Furniture Store had to offer, via their wide screen TV display. After looking at the TV display, Andrea proceeded to show me around the store of what they had on floor display. She showed me different items as a possible substitute item. Seeing what was in store on display, we went back to the big screen display and pulled up again, the recliner I had originally saw and showed Andrea that I thought I wanted. I told Andrea, I needed to go home and give it some more thought and asked if she was working the next day. She was, so I made an appointment to see her on her next day at work. We meet, got down to business, and within a short time after Andrea explained the process of writing up the article, that she would turn me over to the finance ordering department and get it finalized. It didn't that long at all, before I was met by Andrea as I was signing the last form to escort back through the store and to see if she could help me with anything else. She gave me her business card and stated that she would be in touch about information that pertained to my order. I thanked her for her outstanding customer service and left the store. I wish, I could have the same customer service I received at this Ashley Furniture Store, every time I went to buy something! Great customer service from one of their Sales Associate! FINAL UPDATE: My bank told me to open a dispute. Ashley refunded me the money like two days after this. My bank has also credited me, so now everything is messed up. All in all I have spent about 10 hours on the phone with my bank all because Ashley Furniture. UPDATE: The CANCELLED my refund!!! So now I am waiting to call the store so I can figure out when I am going to get a refund on my money At first this would have been a 5 star review, now it is a 1 star! Here is why: We came here about 3 1/2 weeks ago looking for a power rocking recliner and a love seat. We were probably one of the easiest sales you can get. We didn't try to haggle the price, paid in full no financing needed, we didn't say "we need to leave and think about it" or "we found one cheaper here". We found what my soon be mother in law would need for her ankle surgery on 10/16. I made sure to ask Jordan (who was our sales person) to make sure it would come in by 10/16. We ordered on 9/25. She said it took 2-3 weeks for delivery to us. She assured me it would be there by then, and even made a note of it on her paperwork and said she would follow up on it to be sure. We also witnessed her physically write it on HER paperwork. Fast forward to Sunday 10/13. We haven't heard anything about delivery and wanted to see what day it would be because 10/16 was before the 2-3 weeks plus her saying it would definitely be in. It was a couple days away. I called, they actually put Jordan on the phone not just anyone, I was expecting a customer service rep. She told me she didn't like to check on Sundays because it wasn't 100% accurate. Apparently it wasn't even supposed to ship until 10/22 which almost a month later. But she said she was sure it was going to ship before then. I then told her we needed it by 10/16 because of her surgery. Jordan then proceeded to tell me that she had no idea of this and if she "would have known." I then stopped her there and directly stated very very very nicely we wouldn't have ordered for one, and two she wrote it down on here paper too. Again I was very polite and not rude at all. There was a pause and then she basically forced apologized and wanted to talk to her manager Monday to see what they could do. Monday I got the call and they could do nothing other than sale the floor display of the other one she liked and we looked at? We never look at another or even entertained another one because it didn't come in electric? They did say they would 100% refund me. I had to wait a day on the process on their side. I didn't want to talk to Jordan anymore, so asked if someone else could finish the refund process. The manager ended up calling, she seemed nice but from my recollection there was NO apology. I am still waiting on the refund to come back into my account. I paid immediately to them, no financing needed. They have nice quality furniture because I have family who have ordered from them up north and have had no issues. We do prefer Big Sandy Superstore which is mostly (West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky area.) I would absolutely not recommend this one if you want something in when it's promised. We thankfully were able to go somewhere else and find one on 10/17 a day after her ankle surgery. We had to go to about 6 different ones to buy same day. ** Also Just for the record I don't like to name people in my reviews unless it's good, because I wouldn't want a negative review with my name. But to sit there and say we basically should have told her, with no apology beforehand, then after being told we did and she wrote it down I got a half hearted apology. That's just unprofessional in my opinion and I don't appreciate it. Especially when we were probably the easiest sale you'll ever have and you knew we needed it. I am also still waiting on the refund. Regardless I am very disappointed in this furniture store and I do feel this should be taken a little more seriously. I do have a lot of reviews on my Google Maps (level 8) so hopefully other will think about this as credible and I hope others don't have this experience!

stopped in to buy the Backtrack sofa and was continually badgered by sales people, would not recommend if you are looking to be left alone. had a much better experience at Rooms To Go

Laya greeted us warmly at the door and didn’t pressure us at all and made us feel at ease about buying a bedroom set here. She even led us to the side of the store where the colors we requested were. She led us through each and every piece of paperwork and made it easy to understand. She offered us discounts without us even asking which was so kind of her. We would recommend her to anyone shopping here for their furniture!

Andrea has been phenomenal!!!!! Kind and patient. She took the time to answer all our questions about the bedroom set we were considering purchasing for our daughter; Andrea followed up when she said she would on a timely basis. Andrea also helped by recommending a vanity with one she purchased for her daughter.
