We walked in the store and Andrea was immediately there to get an idea of what we were looking for. She saw that we wanted to browse by ourselves first and pointed us in the right direction towards couches in our style. We browsed and she came up to answer our questions and even helped us figure out what kind of fit we needed for our space- she helped us get our tape measures and everything. She was such a joy to work with and the process was super easy and straightforward. While waiting for our couch to arrive (it took a few months) Andrea would text to check in and give us updates. She really went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and stayed excited about our purchase. Once the delivery occurred (the guys were quick at delivery and set up and super nice) Andrea texted to confirm everything was set up and looked the way we wanted it to. We would 100% recommend Ashley Furniture (also Andrea) and will definitely be using them again for our home furnishing needs!
We purchased furniture back in December from this store. Everything has been good since the sale, but the 3 star review is for two reasons in particular. My wife and I went to one of the Ashley stores in Columbia a few weeks before visiting this store. We already had the approval for financing and basically just needed to pick out what we wanted as we got closer to our move in date. This store was closer to us, so it was an easier drive and delivery wouldn’t be as much. We got off work and came in to the store Friday night about an hour and a half to two hours before closing. Not a lot of time to do the whole process, but we wanted to know what we were looking at before making the big decisions all at one time. Everything was going good until it got close to closing time. I know the employees are ready to knock off, but the manager was radioing in to our sales rep telling her to basically get us to leave and started shutting down the lights while we were still in the store. Again, we had the approval and were ready to purchase a full house worth of furniture. So we were kind of pushed out as a ready to buy customer. Luckily enough for them, we decided to come back the next day to close the sale instead of going back to Columbia where we weren’t rushed at all. So we got back with our sales rep, Aly, and she made the additional trip worth it on the sales side. She knew what she was talking about with the product, sales, etc. she didn’t push us into anything we didn’t want and answered all of our questions. The second reason is when it came to pricing/quotes. Aly made a comment about how they don’t have tablets, etc to be able to run quick quotes on so we could have an idea of what all the price tags were/ are final estimated total before sitting down to sign the papers, so we were handwriting everything out, which got pretty confusing due to the amount of furniture we were buying as well as different financing promotions that some products could and couldn’t be on. I run a small business myself and we at least have an excel document that I can print off within a few minutes that shows you a pretty accurate out the door total on whatever you’re purchasing, whether it’s one unit or 10. So the confusion and messiness of the paperwork on the stores part took away the second star. Thankfully I was able to work it out and understand the totals, financing options, etc before signing so I had a full grasp of the totals, exactly what we were getting, etc. Other than that, we had a pretty good experience. I can say that I was pretty tired of looking at furniture by the time we wrapped up, but we are happy with what we got, and have used the heck out of our furniture since we got it! I would recommend coming here, but just keep in mind that it is a chain store, so going the extra mile is all up to the sales person you get and you need to make sure you understand your purchase and totals before signing the papers!
Alt poole with Ashley furniture is amazing. We came in a few months ago in need of a couch for a new home we are purchasing. We were picking out a couch that could be configured many ways but weren’t too sure exactly what configuration we needed. We changed our minds on her probably 10 times but she didn’t care. She was always happy to get us a price for whichever configuration we had in mind at the time. She was very professional and easy to get in contact with. Super responsive. In a world where it seems like good customer service is gone, Aly delivered some of the best customer service we’ve had in quite some time. I would be happy to do business with Aly and Ashley furniture again.
My couch is scheduled for delivery on 07/19, so this review is solely for the store and the service I received. I've never been to Ashley Furniture before, but it was time for a new couch. I asked for opinions from friends and many recommended Ashley. As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted by Jessica. Great personality and said she'd let me look around and to ask her if I need anything. After a while, I found a couch I liked. Jessica was walking around about that time, and we talked about this couch. She got a quote for me, but I was still undecided at that point and left. A few hours later, I made up my mind that I wanted this particular couch, so I went back. By this time Jessica had already left for the day, and I was greeted by Aly. Great personality as well and very helpful. She took care of doing all the paperwork, and I got my couch on order! This is the first new couch I've bought in years, and both Jessica and Aly were a huge help in making my decision. Hoping the couch is as good as the service! :)
Went to the store today looking for a low priced table to seat 6. Was greeted by Aya and did a lap before we got to the tables. Aya was available when needed, answered our questions, and didn’t try to hard sell anything to us. The process was smooth and effortless. New table comes soon and we are thrilled. Thank you Aya!!!

She was there to assist but not pushy or “ hovering”. She gave us several financing options and stayed late to insure we were satisfied with our purchase. I bought a couch from Ashley and it is GARBAGE. Shortly after the purchase we noticed the chair was lopsided. A tech came to fix it. But it still looks crooked. Today a bolt popped out and the top of the chair falls back into the wall leaving a GIANT dent in it. I called and because the warranty is up there is nothing they can do. I will NEVER purchase another piece of furniture from this company again. Horrible quality and even worse customer care. REPLY: Didn't see an option to reply so I'm replying here. You don't see a sale under this name because the sale was under my maiden name. I wrote this review AFTER calling about this issue. The woman I spoke to said I would need to pay for the repair. I'm not willing to pay another penny. A couch shouldn't be falling apart 4 years later.

Very poor customer service, lack of communication, accountability, and low quality furniture. First off, the sales person Elise, at the North Charleston location lied and told me that the floor display was part of the bedroom set that I ordered.. when the furniture was delivered to my home, the chess wasn't included.. so I had to order a chess separately even after Elise told me and my husband that it was part of the set on the sales floor. Then, I spoke to the store manager who says, I don't see the display with all 5 pieces on the floor. Miraculously, someone moved the display after I called and complained about it.. I have a picture of the display. I currently have the bedroom set with all the pieces and I'm having issues with the dresser, they replaced it with another dresser, but it's not functional. This dresser is suppose to be brand new but two drawers are broken. There was no quality check before bringing the dresser to my home. Now they are saying I have to wait 2 months for them to order the parts to fix the dresser. There's a major lack of communication and accountability between the store, customer care, and the distribution center. Daniella and her manager aren't helpful. All they do is pass the blame on someone else. I've had 3 technicians at my house for a minor issue and I still can't use my dresser. That's a total of 3 months waiting to use my dresser lol.. As of today, they said I will have my parts on Saturday. I have no faith in them what so ever! I am beyond upset with this company and will not use them again or recommend anyone that I care about to use them!
Have had a good experience both times we've shopped here. Tons setting out on display to tryout. A little h8gh priced on some products but seems like good quality.
We ordered several pieces of furniture just before the Pandemic arrived and subsequently waited for many months for all the furniture to arrive. If the delays would have been communicated to us; I probably could have been more understanding. The lack of communication and then further inflexibility was disappointing; however being able to recoup the $ paid for a non used protection plan will make me happy!
Was told by sales person and customer service that I could exchange my “90 day” sleep guarantee as many times as needed to find a mattress. Not only was that a lie they charged me restocking and delivery fees on top of their lies. The store admitted I was told this twice but won’t honor or make anything right.
Our furniture from here didn’t even last three years
Laya was amazing! She was kind, informative, thorough and super patient with me! She always kept me in the loop with my purchase and delivery schedule. I couldn't have gotten a better associate to help with my purchase. I will return to Ashley Furniture for all my furniture purchases and will always ask for Laya!

I worked with Andrea and she was very helpful from beginning to end in helping me pick my couch and bar stools. I just moved down to South Carolina and was unsure of what kind of a couch I wanted. I went back and fourth on my decision for a while and she was very understanding through it all. The delivery time was also quicker than I expected. Thank you!

We absolutely loved Aly! Not only her personality but her commitment to providing her customers with the best price makes her stand out as one of my all time favorite sales reps! The cashier is another story altogether and if not for Aly having made the rest of this purchase a breeze we probably would have walked away. We took a star away solely for this reason. We only learned during the payment process that the checking accounts we were attempting to make a payment from have a 2,500 dollar purchase limit. Instead of being clear and knowledgeable about what was a simple situation she was scatter brained, at one point saying my transaction went through while my husband's didn't (we split it). The last thing someone spending 9,000 dollars wants to hear is I guess, and maybe. I'm pretty sure you knew we were annoyed with you when you thanked us for our patience, that felt a little condescending to us both. Train your people to know what simple terms mean when making transactions, and how to explain things of that nature with some clarity. We were able to pay the difference with different cards but we left fairly annoyed with what was supposed to be an exciting purchase for our new home. Aly, we wish you the best and can't say enough how pleased we are with your service. Thank you again!
Bought a recliner rocker from Theresa at N Chas store. She was so sweet & patient with me. I looked at every chair in the store & couldn’t decide what I wanted. She helped me with my decision & gave me a great deal! Highly recommend anyone looking for new furniture to go to this store first & ask for Theresa! Thx again for all you did Theresa! This will be my new go to furniture store.

Very dissapointed to say the least. Sat down a week before making the final move with AK who advised items I was purchasing were in stock with the exception of one of the living room sets. Decided to follow up after a week and half of not hearing from them at which point I was told that it would be 6 to 8 weeks for items to be available. Not a good experience to put my family through. 15k later we are sitting on beach chairs and sleeping on air mattresses. No such thing as an honest business man these days. ********************************* 4-1-24 Quick follow up to prior review. Still waiting on multiple items. Received damaged furniture and after third delivery this past Saturday still had to decline delivery of replacements as they were damaged as well. Must say the staff has tried to make this one as comfortable as possible but at the end of the day we are 5 weeks into this fiasco and still waiting on items that were supposed to be in stock. If you are planning on buying from this company be mindful that they cover themselves with the paperwork telling you that there is a 20% restock even after their sales person lies to you about items in stock and you are then stuck. They then leave it to the staff to deal with the issues at hand at the expense of the dishonest sales person. Place is like a car dealer. Just look at when you go in there and how they approach you and you will realize that it is the same car dealer mentality. ****************************************** 4-9-24 New Date Folks... We are now looking at a May date on material that was supposed to be here in April. Do not buy from this place. You are better off ordering from Ikea or Rooms To Go instead of dealing with these ridiculous lead times and this unreliable company. They order from Indonesia and hold you hostage with the 20% cancellation Fee until they get the stuff months later. From April it has now changed to May. Buyer Beware!
I want to say Lsya was excellent at helping me and very knowledgeable, because of her I made my purchase! My delivery should be here next week,3/5/24! I will do another review when I get my delivery.

Great experience from walking into the store, met Andrea, and the process went great! Started out looking for queen bedroom set, which I found and was ready to go, but plans changed. Ended up mattress shopping instead! Andrea wasn’t available at the time, so her co-worker Teresa stepped in. Again great experience! Aly was amazing, very professional and attentive. In the beginning, what caught my immediate attention was how she was not your typical “aggressive salesperson”, which put us at ease. Upon entering the store, she introduced herself and provided some sales that were currently going on and explained the financing options. This was very helpful. She then allowed us to have our time to browse the store and choose what we were interested in, without feeling pressured. It was a very relaxed experience. When we finished and let her know what caught our eye, she was so helpful. She provided us with her direct contact number and we left the store to think about what we had found. Once we were home, we were able to exchange measurements, via text messages. She helped us realize that the ottoman we originally were interested in would not fit our space. Aly went above and beyond, walked the floor, and sent us pictures and measurements of what would fit in our space. She even sent pictures of the throw pillows to make sure we liked them! This helped us make a final decision in choosing the perfect living room set. She really looks out for her customers and truly cares.

My family and I relocated and needed to finish furnishing our house. We arrived to Ashley and were greeted by Aly. She gave us the rundown of all the promotions and sales and then gave us some time to walk the store. After a bit we were a little overwhelmed with options so we asked Aly to help us find a very specific living room set. Aly was SOOO patient and answered all of our questions. She even included our 9 year old in the process which was amazing. For every set we were interested in, she gave us the breakdown of cost and helped us find the perfect set to fit our budget. Was looking for a mattress set on Memorial Day. Sales associate Steve Mitchell along with the manager Miranda went out of the way to help me get the best deal and spent a lot of time with me though there were plenty of other customers in the store. I had already shopped around several mattress stores and other furniture stores so I knew what was out there and what the average price was. I was buying furniture from a competitor of Ashley Home Store. The competitor sent me an email stating I need to verify it was me buying the furniture. They immediately started asking for personal information (date of birth, social security number, etc…) I told them that I would not give that information over the phone. After they hung up on me they canceled my order. I decided I wouldn’t buy from them. I called the Ashley Home Store in North Charleston, SC where I was connect to a sales associate. This sales associate stayed on the phone with me for almost an hour to get the furniture I wanted. She provided all the details and secured my purchase. We did a lot of shopping around for a sectional for our new home. We are new to the area so I was reaching out on local social media pages to get suggestions. I ended up connecting with Aly at Ashley. I highly recommend working with her. She kept us in budget and was so knowledgable and friendly. We had a couple concerns about the couch we chose and she was great about easing our minds and reiterating their warranty and repair policy. We ended up buying our King mattress as well and financing with no issues. Delivery went well and within the estimated time frame and the delivery men were professional and courteous. My wife and I were on the fence about purchasing a new bedroom set. We found a set we liked but still had not made up our mind. Aly assisted us and we were impressed with her knowledge, professionalism and pleasant demeanor. She worked hard to give us a great price so we went ahead and purchased it. I haven't shopped for furniture in a long time. Steve was the salesman that assisted me with my purchase. He greeted me at the door. I informed him on how much I had to spend and what I was looking to purchase. Steve gave me the rundown of the layout of the floor and let me look around for what I need. He checked online for some items for me according to our conversation about what I was looking for. He didn't try to up sale me or push product on me that I don't want. We purchased a $10,000 sectional from the store. Had several delivery issues due to an employee’s error. After those issues were resolved after several phone calls and issues back in November we get a phone call today, January 14th, 2023 where they failed to include the $800 for our extended protection when they finalized everything with financing and they now want to charge us $800 extra dollars months later. We were told we either have to come up with the money or they were cancelling our protection plan and they cancelled it on the spot. This was their error as original paperwork we signed for the protection plan therefore we should not be responsible for yet another error out of this employee and should still have our protection plan. I will NEVER use this company again as this is the second time we’ve purchased furniture here and the second time we have had an issue.

If I could leave no stars, I would. Sales service was great. Furniture arrived and the sofa was broken and would not recline correctly. Recliner was a reject because parts didn’t line up. No one has even sat on the furniture. Called customer service to request a refund and was refused. I am now stuck with furniture that is falling apart before even being used. Money down the drain and extremely disappointed in the resolution and customer service. Would not recommend.

This is our second time working with Abby, we had a problem with the original furniture we picked and Abby and her associate Danielle were extremely helpful and made the process so much easier and less stressful. I highly recommend them!!

When I arrived to Ashley Home Store in North Charleston to buy furniture for my new condo, Laya immediately greeted me and informed me of current specials in the store and told me if I needed anything she would be around to help. I felt comfortable and took my time to look for furniture and when I had questions went straight to Laya for help. Laya did not bother me or follow me around the store, and I appreciated that. I dropped in this location looking for bedroom/living room furniture. I dealt with Abby and Jessica on the two days I came in. Both representatives were very professional and knowledgeable when it came to helping me pick the furniture I needed. I would definitely recommend these two representatives to others in need of home furniture. Also- big shoutout to Mr. Melvin. Although he is a behind the scenes representative, he was hard working and had unmatched energy.
Had a wonderful experience with Theresa at the North Charleston location. She was very knowledgeable about their products and very consistent with answering my questions, including providing me with all the intricate details that I requested. We came to Ashley's after waiting 6 months for a bedroom set from rooms to go, only for it to be delayed a couple of months so we canceled that order. Abby helped us choose a new bedroom set and we needed it before October since we are moving across the country. We received our beautiful bedroom set in the promised time and Abby personally kept us updated via text messages. We had a small issue with the knobs on the dresser but Abby once again helped us and gave us the ones in the store since the delivery time of the knobs was unknown. I would highly recommend this store and I want to give a huge shout out to Abby! You don't get great customer service like this often. Thank you for everything!

Aly was phenomenal! I had been browsing online and in stores for weeks, and wow, she made me feel so welcome that I walked out with a brand new couch on the way to my doorstep! She took the time to take me through all of my options, and was extremely knowledgeable about all the products on the floor. Like a lot of reviews you're going to read here, be aware of the waiting time. If you need your items anytime soon, then go look elsewhere. All of my items were ordered in November 2021 and delivered the last one in July 2022. They seem to have an acceptable quality, time will tell, but the reason of my 3 stars review is something as simple as the hardware provided to assemble the furnitures: the quality is so bad and cheap that most of the fasteners with little effort were stripped, it'll put your patience to the extreme...!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! I ordered my living room sets in May of 2021, set the delivery date in July but didn’t get in until September 2021 and GUESS WHAT! Only sofa and loveseat came in and until this day as I write this review NO coffee set yet! It’s been more than a year now since I ordered it, they said it was pushed back mid July, will see! I will not order anymore furnitures in this place!!!
Very disappointed, we made sure everything we bought from them was actually in stock but guess what it doesn’t mean anything to them. Still waiting for our outdoor furniture and was told today that I just need to wait my turn. Will never do business with them again. They just lie to your face and on the phone, it’s not ok. They really do not care about their clients. It took over 20 phone calls for me to get my living room furniture delivered and they tried to make me feel that I was the problem. I just want my outdoor furniture now and forget about them. I don’t live my life this way.

Purchased a sectional from them about 4 years ago. Everything was great until after I tried to claim the 500 dollar credit for the protection plan. They told me I could use it at other locations, but when I called they said I can only use it at certain locations only. They told me when I purchased it that I could use it at other places, but of course when it time to claim then the real truth comes. I guess they don't want return business.

What a terrible and dishonest experience, I will NEVER shop here again! I went to Ashley home store of Mt. Pleasant after moving to the area. I advised the salesman, Pete, that I needed my furniture ASAP as I was sleeping on an air mattress. When selecting my furniture I was reassured that my selections were available/ in the warehouse ready to be delivered( I purposely left out items that did not have in stock status) so I could get them as soon as possible. Ashley delivered my couch and dresser BUT the item that I needed most and was promised would come within a week and was in stock/ ready to ship is not here. MY MATTRESS! My order was placed on May 15 and today is May 25. I am told that it will be another week before I have the mattress. I was clearly lied to. In a world where there are many places to purchase furniture DO NOT put spent your money here.
Do not purchase anything from Ashely. I have been waiting for my full bedroom set furniture which I paid in full in March . Was promised a April delivery and then May delivery now they cannot guarantee it will be in stock by June 2022.

We have been waiting 10 months for our furniture, we’re now just informed it will be over a year from our order date. When you ask the store for Corporates number they refuse to give it to you! I spent 6000+ and will never recommend them or shop them again. Who waits over a year for furniture! If I could give a zero I would!

Do not purchase anything from Ashely...I have been waiting for my furniture which I paid in full in November. Was promised a January delivery and then a March delivery now they cannot guarantee it will be ins stock by Easter 2022. Mind you I paid in full at the time of my order. They gladly took my money, didn't wait until Easter to debit my account. Willing to give me my money back in 7 working days, but no interest. Rooms to go has a much nicer inventory, can deliver almost immediately . Each manager I speak with makes new promises.... what a bunch of poor slobs! They don't even know what the left hand is doing.

Utterly disappointed with the lack of communication, concern, and work ethic of this location. We worked with Lonnie. We spent 10k. We made sure Lonnie got the commission since we originally worked with him when coming in the first time and pricing everything out. We have been waiting for furniture since September. The only thing we have received is our sectional. We are missing 2 dining room tables & a guest room furniture set. The delays are not what concern is. We know Covid is causing a lot of delays. What disappoints us the most if the lack of communication not only by Lonnie, but also the store in general. We have called every time to get an update on our order. We were supposed to receive everything but beginning of January. We called and were told it would now be end of January for guest room furniture, middle of February for one table & all chairs & beginning of April for our last table. The manager we spoke to beginning of January was very understanding. She also expressed her frustrations with the lack of communication on her teams part. She assured us Lonnie would keep up with it and took $400 off. She said if there were any more delays we would be compensated again. We heard from Lonnie a few weeks later via text to let us know the dates were still the same. I then texted Lonnie the last week of January ensure it was still the same since we needed to make arrangements for delivery, etc. NO RESPONSE. January 31st we call again because obviously our furniture is not on time and nobody othered to tell us. This manager was rude, talked over us, and didn’t even pull up our account until after 5 minutes into the conversation. She was giving us generic responses without even knowing it specific experience. She eventually HUNG UP ON US. We will be calling corporate to file an official complaint. I work in a commission based field. I know the importance of making sure the one who did the works gets the credit & money. Lonnie dropped the ball. He took his commission with our 10k purchase and ran away with it without bothering to check in with us or our order until pressured by his manager and then dropped the ball AGAIN. Whoever this manager is that hung up on costumers paying 10k to your store, shame on you. We repeatedly told you Covid delays are not in your control, but lack of communication is. You refused to acknowledge any wrong doing. Asked us if we wanted to cancel our order after waiting MONTHS for it & then just hung up. Its clear Ashley Furniture doesn’t need our business.
This is the second time that I buy in this store, because they have an excellent and good product compared to what we have here in Charleston SC. But they have a very big problem with the sellers, in the two times that I bought, both times they send me the wrong products, after waiting the time they have to wait. This last one I asked for a bed with some specifications and they sold me the opposite of what I asked for. Vendors have no idea what they are selling or the products as they are sold.
Lonny and Beverly spent so much time with me as I tried to put together a bedroom set. I didn’t want a complete set, I wanted to piece together different furniture. They helped me “design” a fantastic look! I wasn’t rushed, wasn’t pushed and they walked me through every step. And they are friendliest people. Being new to the area, Lonny was sweet to give me great Charleston tips and even said to call him if I had any questions about Lowcountry! Both are great at their jobs and I was so comfortable working with them! I look forward to going to the new Ashley store in Mt. Pleasant and working with Beverly to decorate more of my new house!

Let me start of with saying sales team and delivery were amazing they deserve 5 stars but the scheduling department needs to learn how to listen and do the their job I ordered a 5 piece sectional and a full bedroom set everything in it 2 night stands chest dresser and bed frame and head board along with a mattress the mattress was the first thing to arrive at the store they called said it was there I said great thank you can we wait to deliver it with the bedroom furniture they said sure no problem we’ll make a note then the sectional arrives they call up say do you want the mattress again I say can we wait for the bedroom furniture they say sure no problem I’ll make a note then I call a few weeks after the sectional comes to get an update on the bedroom furniture they say it’ll be in mid-end of December we have the mattress do you want that delivered now I say no can it wait for the bedroom furniture to arrive they say sure no problem I’ll make a note they call a few days ago saying everything has arrived after three months of waiting i say awesome I’ll take it asap with the mattress they say ok Thursday the 30th it’ll be there I’ll make a note for the mattress to be delivered then as well today they dropped off everything and at the end when they’re wrapping everything they say do you already have a mattress I say no it should’ve been delivered today with this set they did not have it on the list so now I have a whole bedroom set with no mattress just moved in been waiting three months to sleep comfortably was so excited to finally get a good night rest and it never came after them telling me they made not 1 not 2 but 4 notes to bring my mattress today and now I have to call in the morning to try and figure out some way to pick up tomorrow because they said the next available day to get furniture delivered to my area is a week away so moral of the store if you’re getting things delivered make sure you call the days prior to make sure they actually listen to you
Jessica Seino was the first to greet us on entry and checked on us while we were looking, she didn't hover or push, she made me want to go back there in the future. We do plenty of one time buys but I will be going back bc of her. She was SO polite, knowledgeable, and helped us find what we were looking for. I found her after we decided and I'm glad I did bc they get paid commission as most sales jobs do, she helped us with estimates of arrival to narrow down to our purchase. This girl needs to be a manager, I am a former store manager and I would have killed to have an employee like her. Keep killin it on the sales floor Jessica. (We bought the Yandel power lift recliner). See you next time, I'll be coming to you when we get the heat and massage recliner for me! 😁
Moved down to South Carolina September 2021, bought things from Ashley’s which was pleasant and dealt with Brittany and Bobbi Joe for multiple items they were my favorite part of shopping at Ashley’s in North Charleston, but the 3rd party company that delivers was not so pleasant and when they deliver any items they are the face of the Ashley’s company at that time, I came to Ashley’s and spoke to a manager and they took care of me and my family when we bought more furniture. I am so grateful for North Charleston Ashley’s and I will continue to buy from Ashley’s Furniture in North Charleston. Where I feel like I am family and feel comfortable buying furniture.

ordered in early september, was guaranteed delivery for november. 5 days before delivery they tell me its not available and reschedule to FEBRUARY. they're telling me the reason is bc the manufacturer does not have the items. Whats to stop them from doing this again in february. when i try to chat no one has access to my account to assist. anytime i try to call, call volumes are over hour long waits, you wait and then they are closed. ridiculous. im done with this company.

Worst service I have ever received. Purchased a bed and frame that were in stock at the time. Was told I would get contacted in within 3 days. When the "3 days" came, I called at the end of the day to be told they will contact me sometime the following week to schedule delivery. Two weeks later and after multiple calls with no reponse/failure to call back they FINALLY tell me the bed I purchased is out of stock. Told them I wanted a refund, was told I'd be contacted by the financial department that day but over a WEEK later I finally went into the store, they had never processed my refund. Don't expect any follow up or customer service the second you leave the store.
Bobbi Jo just helped us find the perfect set in one trip when we thought it would take at least three! And we were picky too- had to be a certain kind of recliner with a certain kind of fabric and we had to find a chaise-ish kind of piece to go with it. Nightmare scenario made into a dream with the help of a super-knowledgable sorceress of sofas. I'm excited to get it in the house (in 10-20 wks, cuz...COVID and shipping hell). I might update this later based on the delivery experience but rt now I'm super happy with the sales side! 😊

I purchased a bedroom set on the 2nd of July and the date to receive it would be 6 weeks. When the 6 weeks were completed I just called to confirm the delivery and they said it had been delayed for 1 month. if I hadn't called I would never have known. I decided to cancel the purchase and it's been 8 days and I haven't been able to receive my money. they make up a lot of excuses and don't solve anything. even getting the money back takes time.

The store gave us an estimated time of 5-7 weeks that our furniture would get here but they keep delaying our delivery a month out. It has now been 4 months and it just got delayed again so I have no idea when it will arrive. I tried to call to see if it would actually come this month and they basically told me that it may. Awful customer service when calling, they just wanted to get me off the phone. If they could give me a legitimate date of when they expect my bed to come, even if it was later that would be great cause I could plan but I have no idea when it will actually get here. Had to go out and buy a used bed while we wait for this one. Never using this store again and I will never point anyone to it.
Purchased bedroom furniture on April 29th, 2021 and have been given 5 separate proposed delivery dates to the warehouse and as each day approaches they delay it again. We understand delays in the times we live it with the global issues the pandemic has brought about. After many calls to the stores they can not give us any firm information that may lead to a resolution. I would caution anyone from buying anything from Ashley Furniture unless it is already in their warehouse.
So I first called Ashley and got Jessica as my salesperson. She was friendly knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. When arriving at the store I let them know I was here to see Jessica. Within two minutes she greeted us and showed me the sectional I was interested in and gave prices on others. I purchased on and decided quickly I had made the wrong choice. When I came back she was still just as wonderful and patient. I am a sales person and don’t know if I would have.l been. What an incredible experience during such stressful times. Jessica is the best. Thanks for the incredible experience and I will be back to do business in the future. Going to let everyone I know to visit Jessica at the Ashley Furniture store at Tanger outlet in North Charleston.
I purchased a living room set. When it was delivered there was a tiny spot of dirt on the sofa. I cleaned it myself and it was fine. 3 months later I got a call that my new sofa was in. They had ordered a new sofa for me! I told them that I really appreciated the great customer service but I was fine with the one I had.

Bought a sectional couch it took half a year to receive it. With covid we understood the circumstances. Finally when we received it by a couple who brought it from Georgia...not sure why when it was supposedly made in N.Y. Well both ends of the sectional was busted and I mean bad too.They wanted to just give us a discount instead of returning it. Will never do business with them again. Save your money and buy quality.
Lonnie was very knowledgeable about all of our needs. He walked the store with us to talk about the furniture with us that we were looking for. He went over every discount they could offer. He went over the finance with us. He never rushed us. Great experience all around. I got my new office desk and matching book shelf. I am disabled so I can't sit or stand for long so they had a few desk that part of it goes up and down for my needs. It doesn't take a lot of physical strength to make that part of the desk go up and down. Great salesman and great heavy, sturdy furniture.

I did not purchase anything, but I found it to be a nice shopping environment. I normally don't like furniture stores, because, as someone with anxiety, salespeople can be overwhelming and pushy. However, the employees here were courteous and attentive without being overbearing or intrusive. .

Yes lots of employees in the store and greetings from them at the door. But there is no motivation at all to help the customer. Stock is not kept here and we were advised a 6 week wait to get furniture.

I don't know where all these other reviews giving 5 stars. But my experience with this company is not good. I have to wait 3-5 months for some furniture. Then not giving me an exact date. Telling me mid as if "mid" was a date on the calendar.

I called the Ashley Home Store in North Charleston to get some prices on some furniture that we saw over the weekend. I spoke to a store manager named Jessica ( I did not get her last name) She gave me an amazing price on a sofa, loveseat combination. I explained to her that I recently sold my house here in the area and was moving to western NC. She looked into it and let me know that this store would not be able to deliver the furniture. She provided me with a store that was closer to my new home. She also provided me with a quote from her store to make sure I would receive the great price that she had given me. In doing that she saved me HUNDREDS of dollars. I want to thank Jessica for an outstanding job in making sure that we were well taken care of. Ordered furniture told 3 to 5 weeks.. Its been over 7 weeks now and still no furniture. Were told two days ago it would be delivered today. We called this morning to get a time and were told we aren't on the sschedule and can't deliver till next Thursday.. Six more days.

We had a wonderful Ashley representative, Bonnie Jo Benjamin, who asked if we needed help, and then let us wander around while checking on us. The 3rd time she checked on us, my wife gave her a list of questions from her previous online research. Ms. Benjamin was knowledgeable and eventually gave us various ideas for decorating our new house with great insight after discovering what things we were going to put into our rooms. She also explained the qualities and the pricings of each item in great detail. (She discovered we have particular art work that we post around the house, and each of us have particular "must haves".) Ms. Benjamin was very patient, espcially because we took a lot of time during our two visits, and changed our minds several times. I felt sorry for her because we are difficult shoppers. She kept her pleasant demeanor while giving us specific do's and don'ts that saved us time and energy "in the long run." When we finally made our decisions and went through the registering, ordering, and financial options, nothing "surprised" us because Ms. Benjamin had already given the various processes to us, including the expected arrivals of the things we purchased. We highly value Ms. Benjamin's expertise and thorough care for our inarticulate desires and needs. Good job, Ms. Benjamin!

I WISH I COULD GIVE 0 STARS!!! DO NOT PURCHASE FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE - ESPECIALLY THIS LOCATION! We have purchased a bedroom set, couch, and oversized chair from this place. We had placed a $7000+ order recently with them which has since been cancelled and in the process of being refunded because of the ridiculous time we have had dealing with this location and the Ashley Furniture Customer Care team. This past Sunday 4/25, we were getting in our current bed (the 2nd replacement bed in less than TWO YEARS) when it broke once again. We immediately decided that was the final straw with Ashley's. We attempted to call this store to speak with a manager and was given the go around by Ellen, the receptionist. When we asked to speak with a manager she just kept asking questions and asked if we had contacted their customer care line even though they weren't even open on Sundays. We got fed up and decided to go into the store. The following incident and how we were treated is where/why you should never give this location your business. Upon arriving at the store we were greeted by a gentleman named Steve who said he was a manager. Once we told him our reason for being there he immediately told us to go to the back for Customer Service. At this point while walking thru the store we could see all of the associates watching us walk back (the store should start training their employees on stop being so obvious when they're talking about customers over the radio). From there we arrived at the back and at that point is when we received two phone calls from the Operations Manager, Aaron, calling about the incident regarding our bed because Ellen had told him about the call. We live 30+ minutes away and know Aaron could've called at any point during that time but instead waited until we arrived in store to make it appear like he attempted to reach out prior to us arriving (he obviously didn't). Then we see Aly watching us, and she must've realized why we were there and she made it appear like she had run into us on accident. She immediately told us she would get their Operations Manager, Aaron, who from the very beginning we were told has so much power/can handle anything (this will come to not be true later on). Aaron took us to a corner of the store where there were no customers and we informed him about our prior experiences with getting a replacement and the fact that the bed itself was purchased less than two years ago. He obviously was trying to save the sale from our most recent purchase so he turned on the charm and was as nice, understanding, and compassionate as could be. This lasted up until the moment we told him 100% without doubt we would be cancelling. He kept telling us he would "compensate us for our time" and would personally guarantee that the delivery does not get messed up. After he was able to get us a temporary bed as we have visitors in town and needed a bed that day, he was ready to get us out the door and never once attempted to "compensate us for the time". I brought that point up to him in which he said he would take a look at what he could do, asked us how much we paid for the bed, and that he would be right back. He comes back that they can take $300 off but that's the most he could do without involving someone else. The same guy who had the Director on speed dial and could call the District guy with no problem is the same guy that heard our whole ordeal and said that $300 was equal to the trouble we have went through. Needless to say we cancelled the order, Aaron's nice guy persona he displayed instantly changed and we are now currently battling with customer care trying to get a new bed ordered. They are refusing to send a whole new bed because that is not their policy. At this point, I am ready to tell any one and everyone to NOT SHOP AT ASHLEY FURNITURE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!! It will cause you nothing but problems, headaches, and issues. We learned the hard way and regret every penny we have every given them but will not be making any more mistakes like that again.
Buying a mattress here turned into a giant headache. We went in several times looking at mattresses. It's a big purchase so we were doing research and trying to find one my husband and I both agreed on. We worked with the same salesperson, Michelle, each time. We finally ordered the mattress and went with the Ashley brand of adjustable base, did the warranty on everything and the mattress protector. Spent well over $5K. We were told at the time of purchase that it would be about 2 weeks, no later than 3 for delivery. Around week three, I texted Michelle asking if she had an update. She said she'd check on that for me but I never heard back. Finally, after 4.5 weeks we got a call that delivery was set up. The day of delivery, we received the wrong mattress. It was a lower grade model and the delivery men insisted we keep it until our new mattress came in. I saw that as a red flag and refused delivery. I immediately called and texted Michelle pictures of the wrong mattress. Her reply was that it would be rectified but offered no plan. I called the store & they first tried telling me that the correct mattress was delivered but had someone check the tag and they realized it wasn't. But no mention of fixing this or any apology. They just said they would look into it. The next day, my husband received an email receipt for delivery in which one of the delivery men forged his signature accepting the delivery. Once again, I immediately got on the phone, but at no time did anyone say they were trying to fix this for us. For two days we never heard back. My husband, who was frustrated at sleeping on the couch, called and asked for a refund. Instead of agreeing that they screwed up, they blamed Serta and said we'd have to wait. They were still trying to "figure it out". At this point, everyone knows that someone else probably got my mattress but that isn't our problem. Finally after speaking to several more people and getting a major run around (they wanted us to wait 6 weeks for another mattress delivery), they agreed to refund us. That following Monday we got a refund for the mattress but they did not refund delivery charges or the warranty we paid for on a mattress we don't own. It was an AWFUL experience and I am convinced the people running that store are incompetent. We will NEVER shop there again.

I normally hate going into furniture stores because I feel like I am followed the entire time and it makes me feel anxious and like I am not really able to shop for what I want without feeling pressured. I have to say when I was approached by Aly she assured me she was available to answer any questions I had about anything I saw , but would give me the space to shop at my leisure. I can’t tell you how much I not only appreciated hearing that, but the fact that she actually let me browse without being followed made me so comfortable. When I was ready to talk about pricing and making a purchase she was so professional and made me feel at ease. She was able to answer all of my questions without hesitation and even helped me design my room. I was fortunate enough to have met Mr. Larry who took great care of me. He was very patient with me and my small children, as I am a single mother. One of the sales reps made me feel a bit uneased about purchasing, but Larry allowed me to take my time and answered all of my questions, ensuring that my furniture would be delivered in the timeframe I would need it. Larry also goes the extra mile and allows you to call him personally for additional questions to ensure you have all your questions answered. I also went to buy at the perfect time, when there was a huge Spring sale. Larry made sure I received all of my sale prices and explained each kind of delivery option available to me. I came to Ashley Furniture in North Charleston to replace a 15 year old sofa. I was greeted and welcomed into the store by Bobbie Jo. Immediately it felt like home. When I went to Ashley Furniture, I had a general idea of what I was looking for. The store was immaculate and everything was very organized. The staff was phenomenal and quick to help. Bobbie Jo was super friendly and informative of their promotions as well as what to expect upon the day my mattress is delivered. She was clear and concise while being completely open and honest. She helped me find the perfect mattress and at an awesome deal to! Bobbie Jo was very helpful in assisting us with picking out our new sofa. She showed us to all of the items that matched our specifications and explained all of the current incentives thoroughly. Edit: Changed to 3-stars due to continually pushed back delivery dates of our furniture. They don't tell you when they push these dates back, you have to call and ask them for updates only to be told that it won't be arriving at the end of the week anymore, but in a few more weeks.

As soon as me, my fiancé, and my son walked in we were greeted by a very nice gentleman named Lonnie. He asked what we were looking for...we informed him we were looking for a new living room suit, but we just wanted to browse. He did not stalk us while we were browsing. He gave us our personal time and space to look around and decide what pieces were perfect for us! When we had a question, Lonnie was available and ready to answer all of our questions. He sensed that we were stuck on 2 different suits, and he just provided us with his card...allowed us to go home and decide (not try to persuade us into deciding on one or the other right then and there). We actually went home and came back 3 days later with our decision and added a few pieces! My home shopping experience at Ashley Home Store was the best, most relaxing, non-stressful experience I have had in my life, and I truly believe that was because of Lonnie! Lots of different couches all in our style. The way the store is set up is super helpful too, I liked how everything was organized by style. It made it quick and easy to narrow down what we wanted. Nope my bf and I have been waiting on our ordered furniture for over 10 weeks now and I’m pregnant and my back is really out.... but my question is where the flying monkeys behind is my freaking bed and furniture. Purchased a bed on October 2, 2020 and we were promised delivery by last week of December (seems like s long time right?). Last week of December came and no bed was delivered. We were promised end of January, end of January 2021 came and no bed was delivered. Now they promised mid of February and they apologized and blamed on COVID. Today we received a called saying they will not keep their mid February delivery promised and that it will probably be May... Just unbelievable, they held my money for so long and now they offered (how nice of them) to give my money back. I will never step foot in their store again. I feel like they were not honest and transparent. They did not make any effort in saving us as a customer. Poorest customer service ever received. Guys, it is over 140 days and no merchandise!!! What are they doing with our money??? We paid upfront they held our money and the merchandise. Free money to invest???

I'm moving into a new place & wanted new furnishings. Ashley Furniture was my 3rd & final stop of the day. I walked in & met with Jessica Seino around 7:10 and they close at 8PM. She was awesome and very patient with me as I was trying to get it all done before they closed. Went shopping last summer 2020 for living room furniture. Purchase two couches from Ashley furniture in North Charlestonas well as a coffee table and side table. Was told delivery would be around 8 weeks. They required that I pay in full at the time of purchase.We wanted to have them before the holiday season. We did not receive them on time and we're told they would be ready sometime in December. We did not receive them in December and we're told they may be ready by the end of January and they would call me every week to give me an update. It is now the end of January 2021 and they never called a single time to give me an update although I have taken the effort to call them. I called today January 27th 2021 and asked to speak to a manager. I was told the manager was with a customer but would call me back. I asked for the manager's name and the person on the phone could not identify the manager's name and said which one there are lots of managers here. I asked to cancel the order and she Jacelyn said she would submit it for approval. I'm waiting to hear back from them. I would have never paid in full if I knew it would take this long. In fact if I knew it was going to take this long, I would have driven up to North Carolina where they make the furniture and would have purchased it directly from the manufacturer knowing that it was already in stock and ready to deliver.

Beautiful furniture and a pleasant attend
The reason for the one star is due to ordered furniture back in November and only one love seat came in, was told that the other pieces won't be in till around mid February. I ordered 2 live seats and one recliner. And the sales consults have not bee very helpful. Guess all the care about is the actual sale. Not a happy customer and won't be shopping in the future with Ashley Furniture.

Update: Great customer service. Got a follow up from Steve Mitchell our sales person today. I've experienced a few companies who have over promised and under delivered which resulted in personal lost time looking for products I've purchased and not received. Steve set clear expectations from the beginning, and now provided an estimated date. It's good to work with a sales person who cares about his word. Worked with Steve. No pressure sales, good selection. Covid has shipping at 7-15 weeks as of Dec '20.

Went into Ashley for the first time the day after Christmas and had a truly exceptional experience. Wanted a sectional and a kitchen table and walked away with both after spending 3+ hours with Michelle. Michelle is an absolute gem and has set a new bar for what great looks like in customer service. She was supposed to get off at 6 PM but stayed an extra two and a half hours to answer all of my questions and make sure that I went home with exactly what I needed. Ashley was great but Michelle makes this store and I will be a customer of hers for years to come.
We found what we've been looking for! Our helper was awesome. Super chill and not pushy. Helped us make a final decision based on the warranty and options we could go with.

This is a lovely store with a large selection, however, their prices are so gouged that I urge you to look at other local furniture stores instead. We found the EXACT SAME sectional that Ashley had “on sale” for $2,299.99 at a local furniture store down the road for $1,399.99. Please do research before you pay for these prices.

I have order my sofa from August 2020, 2 month later they delivery for me the wrong sofa and missing parts, so till call them they said they take my message and someone call me, but not, no one care your problem, then i walk in to store at N charleston, SC, the guy come to talk to me like he was act as responsibility guy, but notthing happen after 2 weeks , then I waked in store again to see Sale manager is Jessica. She take this case then a week later send a guy come to my house check in then he said he reorder other sofa for me from Oct 23th, today, Dec 1st, i/ve call them to store, told me my sofa will come in the middle on Feb then kick me out to customer service,then the girl in the customer service tell me 1866 number to call, he talk to fast then hang up the phone. So now i have to wait till Middle FEB next year.
When we entered the store, we were greeted by Lonnie. He asked if we had any questions and gave us directions on how the store was set up. He did not follow up around and bother us, unlike most salesmen. He waited, and we alerted him when we were ready. He assisted us in the ordering process and gave us all the information. Great company to work with !! When in comes to customer satisfaction they are pristine in every aspect of the company. While entering, sales associates were high quality and very knowledgeable to every question that was asked about their product. Once our delivery was ready you were provided with a 48hrs notice to plan around, along with a very prompt arrival to delivery time.

Awful, horrible customer service. After having to wait 10 weeks for our couch, which is understandable because of the pandemic, it arrives damaged. The delivery men made note of it and sent in photos. I receive a phone call from Leanne telling me that the photos weren't good enough and I needed to send more. No problem. A week goes by and she leaves a voice mail saying she needs more photos. I sent the photos. Two weeks later, and nothing. I call back and now she's finally ordering the replacement. I shouldn't have to chase anyone down in order to get a replacement that should have been ordered the day it was first delivered, damaged, over a month ago.

Nice furniture at a good price
Recently bought a kitchen table and chairs from here which I love and fit perfectly in my home. However, i’m giving a 2 star review because the *entire* process from talking with the reps.. to purchasing the products.. to getting it delivered (and redelivered)... was nothing but an absolute headache. Poor customer service. That was my first and last experience with Ashley.
AVOID THIS FURNITURE RETAILER AT ALL COSTS!! In addition to purchasing furniture here, I also purchased a 5 year warranty. ONE year later, My oversized recliner are broke. When I contacted AF to have them repaired, i was given the run around. They wanted me to pay for the repair costs despite the warranty. I contacted them again, and i was told my warranty expired. Now, my love seat recliners are also broken. I contacted AF AGAIN and I was told my warranty was “void” because I moved. I purchased my furniture in Brunswick, GA and Moved to Charleston. The 5 year warranty is with AF as a company, not AF the individual store. I pressed the issue and i was given several different phone numbers, all of which yielded no results. My living room set is STILL broken and no one is willing to assist. They will take your money and that is all. DON’T BE FOOLED.

Customer service is awful, dont depend on getting your shipment getting to you fast, they put u on hold for hours, hang up on you, never want to find the right answer they assume, if you try to speak to escalations they blow you off wont allow you to speak to them. Rooms to go had my delivery in my home in a week and it was the same bed I order. This will be the first and last time I ever order and will make sure everyone knows my experience since CUSTOMER SERVICE is a joke and whoever's trained the employees needs to be fired they did an awful job.

It was a bit of a long wait to start, but when we were told it would be delivered we got neither the furniture or a phone call explaining why it wasn't here. When I called them, I was told it would be another month and a half. If we'd known that, we would have shopped elsewhere. They lied to us and did not have the decency to call with any updates. Now I want a refund, and of course no one will talk to me. Run far, far away from this place. Far....... Far..... Away!

This review is purely based on customer service. I had called the Ashley Home Store to ask about a desk I had seen online bust was unfortunately sold out. Nikki was able to look up the desk in the store and find it at one of the other distributors. She honored the sales price we had seen and was able to help us purchase the desk over the phone. It could not have been an easier experience. We even had to sign paperwork and she was able to help us do that without stepping foot in the store! She was super accommodating and friendly. It made the furniture buying experience the best we have had so far. I can't wait for our desk to come in. Nikki has been great about giving us updates and making sure we are in the loop about delivery. I was so thankful for her help! I can't recommend her enough - if you have to buy furniture do it from her!
My wife and I purchased an extra large sectional and an 8 piece bedroom set. Due to COVID we were already for-warned about the delivery times. Jordyn at the Ashley home store was very helpful along the way, she was with us from the purchase till the furniture was delivered. Chris and Steven were the delivery and assembling team who were both very friendly, professional and respectful of our home. I ordered the bed room sets and dining set since June 27. They said it would be 6 weeks due to Covid 19, ok, I agreed. After 6 weeks, nobody called, I had to call them and got an answer due to Covid 19, its gonna be in warehouse on Aug 31. At least if it has any delayed, you should contact me and give apology for this. The way the lady answer the phone is like "Its like this, I dont care". IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO HAVE YOUR HOME INFESTED WITH SPIDERS AND ANTS, ORDER FROM ASHLEY! I ordered a king bedroom suite and a living room sectional from Ashley. After being told it would be 6 weeks for delivery, it ended up being weeks longer, but that wasn’t my main problem. Once the furniture was delivered and set up, an entire infestation of ants came from the furniture, there were also spiders. I had to have my home treated by terminix multiple times, and to top it off, my son is allergic to ants. customer care was of absolutely no help. They offered to replace the furniture, well I was not comfortable with receiving another delivery from this company since the first delivery caused an infestation, and I no longer trust Ashley to deliver quality furniture. so they offered me 15% off. Which is nothing considering I paid close to 4 grand just to have my home covered in ants and rush my son out since he is allergic. They claimed that that’s all they could offer since they have checked their warehouse and can’t locate that the infestation came from them. I submitted photos, videos, everything. Literally the WORST company ever. Who delivers infested furniture to someone and offers 15% off? I will NEVER purchase from them again.
The night before we purchase our living room sofa, My Wife and I did our research. We went to all the furniture stores in South Carolina. And we chose the cuddler from Ashley Furniture. We went to the store in Charleston SC. We were greeted by a very helpful Salesperson Name Maria. Who has been great. Shortly after the purchase covid 19 hit. So we had to wait a little extra time for our sofa to arrive. No problem. When the sofa finally arrive. It arrived damage. This is where the problem comes in. We immediately call the store to let them know it was damage. They offered a 200.00 gift card, (4 months and we still don't have it) and offered to send a repairman out there to repair the sofa. My wife said repairing it would not be an option because we purchase a New sofa not a display model. We were told that we would get a new Cuddler end, to replace the damage one. We have been giving several delivery dates, the last one was suppose to be on the 08/22/2020 Which we still haven't received yet. But whenever we call in to inquire about what we have been told, we have to explain the whole situation over again. And I hate to say this, But I believe they were never going to get us what they said. Just saying what we wanted to hear to get us off the phone. Now they are telling us we have waited to long to report the damage. Really??
They change the arrived date 3 times in three months wait to get my seat of sofas the guy told me he would be in contact with me but never had a call back from him. Had to call ever date to find out how was my order wouldn't answer my calls always busy. When to the store and call from the parking lot they told me he was busy with a customer so got off my car and went in and the guy was seating looking at his phone.so cancel. It been 4 days waiting for approval for my money back.

I ordered a large reading chair and was told the estimated delivery time would be 5-6weeks. I was charged for my purchase and waited. 6 weeks later I have had zero communication about my delivery. I called the customer care number today and they said it won’t be at the warehouse until October; another 2 months from now. I’m so disappointed that 6 weeks is turning into almost 4 months without my furniture if it isn’t delayed even further. I feel very misguided and scammed.
Ashely Furniture has a beautiful showroom and inventory but the personable experience we had with salesman Lonnie was the deciding factor in our purchase. Lonnie researched our purchases for our new home and printed out for us the size and dimensions so we could verify our furniture would work where we wanted it. He also stayed later than his work hours to finalize our sale.

Went in Sunday. Picked out sectional we thought we wanted but needed to measure space in living room. It would fit so called the store. They said they would have our salesman call back. Three days later no call. Guess they're not interested in selling furniture and accessories but that seemed to be all they had in the store.
I was actually going to the store next door that sold window treatments when I saw Ashley Furniture. I thought I’d just peek inside. I found the couch and loveseat that I had already purchased from the previous homeowner, so discovering the matching the wing chair was an easy purchase. From there I found dining room chairs. My salesman, Lonnie guided me in terms of style, information, pricing and delivery dates, but gave me lots of space to just walk through the store and look. I felt no pressure so the experience was helpful, low key and very positive.
I purchased one bed from this store. My experience in the store felt more like a 50 yd sprint in the store trying to keep up with the sales associate that i had. I was in and out of the store in less than 30 minutes. Some may think that is a good thing. I honestly would have bought more but they really didn't take the time to ask me. So I just went in for the bed that i new i wanted. I was given a 2-3 week time period and at the time I was trying to plan a weekend away in the mountains. I basically had to put two weekends on hold because the Ashley company "doesn't allow" associates to schedule exact dates... Just an FYI to the "Ashley furniture store" that is not what a paying customer wants to hear. Finally the first bed came. It was installed and before i could inspect it I was approached to sign two forms. I did that and before i new the truck was gone... Went to inspect and the bed was painted all different shades as well as portions were not painted at all. How does that leave a store.... How did the installers not see it.... I called the sales associate because they assured me if i need anything to just call and Initially argued that the bed they ordered/sent me was correct. It was really frustrating not to get the chance to talk before someone you probably helped get commission interrupts to tell me i am incorrect.... A new delivery was scheduled................................. 2-3 weeks away..... 2nd delivery comes. Took off work "Again" for the 3 hour window. Before they even took the bed off the truck i said i want to see it. What would you know. Same problem.... there was also black smudges on it like they pulled it from the back of a storage shed. I called customer service and asked for my money back. They stated you will need to call the store. So I did. The sales person calls me to not say I'm sorry for the inconvenience, But more to state that I was wrong that they sent the right bed..... That sent me through the roof. the associate said they would call me back... they never did (follow through is important). Received a call a few hours later from a manager and he talked me into giving Ashley furniture a 3rd chance... 3rd times a charm right??? He assured me that they would get this right that he would make sure someone laid eyes on it before leaving the warehouse. Why didn't they do this the first time? Or the Second Time. 3rd delivery came and it was finally right. The problem was more or less with the Company standards, Quality Control and the total disregard of customer service from the sales associate.

I have a difficult husband who hates picking out furniture. Our salesman, Michelle made this chore a wonderfully, pleasant experience. She miraculously managed my husband and helped him pick out a piece for a sectional. She communicated with him and explained things better than I could. I'm so glad she told us about the extended 4yr warranty. She lifted a huge weight off my shoulders. The experience was so pleasant we came back a few months later and now I have an awesome, comfortable outdoor sectional where we spend great family and relaxing time. Don't just don't. I had 3 different dates for shipping. I was promised to have my bedroom set by Christmas. That didn't happen. The manager was to get back with me, I've had furniture 5 months and the wood is losing its color. The end pieces on my footboard have all peeled off. This bed and dresser was around 1500
Spent $2000 at this store and was told my sofa would come in a month. Month went by with no call or communication about my furniture so I called them. Employee was rude and told me basically it will be here in another month. ANOTHER month went by and still no information about my sofa. I called again and they told me it still hasn’t came. And the employee was rude, disrespectful, and god awful. I spent 2 grand just to get disrespected with awful customer service and rude employees. And guess who still doesn’t know when their sofa is coming.....DO NOT AND I REPEAT, DO NOT SPEND A DIME AT THIS PLACE. They will gladly take your money and send the furniture MONTHS later while basically saying it’s your fault for even buying from them. I never dealt with a store as incompetent as this one
Terrible customer service. My husband and I bought a Sofa on 6/10, they told us that we will probably receive it in 1 month. Today 7/7 we went to the store and they told us that we would receive our furniture in September, THREE MONTHS later and at no time did they contact us to inform us of the date change. It is disrespectful to us and our time
We had the privilege of working with Alan, he was very knowledgeable about the products and incredibly patient with my wife and I as we took him piece to piece trying to find the perfect ones for our new house. The pricing was very reasonable and we never once felt pressured to purchase something we did not love. Would definitely recommend this store and this sales representative to everyone.

do not understand why furniture stores are not responding -most of the people I know want slipcovered furniture so they can easily clean it -that includes sofas and chairs-what I see in stores looks cheap and ugly -not impressed with the choices they present in stores- are they not looking at home decor ? would also like to see slipcovered recliners that don't look like a recliner-many people have open floor plans so furniture needs to be able to be used but look nice -not everyone has 2-3 living rooms

Being in sales myself, I am absolutely in shock how bad the service is here. First, the sales person (Michelle) tells us the wrong price and it took me leaving before they would honor it. Then, she texts me the wrong price again! I moved from out of state so I sold everything that I had before the move. I was promised my furniture would be in by June 18th (three weeks after my purchase), then they said the 22nd. Now they are telling me sometime in July! I had to exchange for a smaller (also cheaper) couch and they would only do an even exchange for the floor model?? On top of everything, my sales person will not do anything she says. Once she had my money, she could care less about my business. I have been asking for a delivery date and she pushes me off to the next day and never follows up. The only text that I received from her was “I swear I’m crabapple”.....trying to say she was capable I guess???

I understand that with covid things are unpredictable. But we were given a timeline that our furniture will arrive 2-3 weeks after purchasing date. On top of that they never charged us the exact day we went into the store , they lost our payment information. So funny. They never called us to tell us that happened...we kept calling them... and asking what’s going on why haven’t we been charged... and now our stuff won’t come till August 1st... yay empty house. Clutter free if your optimistic. well overall not impressed with service and communication. The employees are nice but once they get their sale( hence sales job) they’ll forget about you. So disappointed and extremely frustrated with the store in North Charleston, SC. We were impressed by how nice & accommodating they were when we were buying our furniture. My husband and I left closing and went straight to purchase furniture. We specifically told Michelle multiple times that we needed the furniture no later than the third week of June because we were moving the last week of June. We were told we would get a call the following Monday with a delivery date. No call we waited a week. The following week I called and I was told that the furniture would not ship until mid-July. We spent over $10,000 on furniture without a delivery date. They’ve already taken the money from my bank, but I am not provided a date of when product and service will be delivered. I went to the store the following day and the manager Frank said he would give me a call no later than the following Tuesday. Here we are a week later and no call from Frank. Every time we call he is with a customer and the salesperson takes my number and says he will call me back. Except the one time when the salesperson said and I quote “I can’t make him call you back”. This purchase experience has been horrible, and to make matters worse Frank tells me he has to charge me a restocking fee of 20% on items you are unable to deliver because you said they are not available. So what are you restocking? We have bought several pieces of furniture from other companies after this purchase, and all have been delivered. We were actually able to select our delivery and setup date at the time of purchase. Such poor customer service and no empathy at all. We would not have bought this furniture if we couldn't get it by the time we needed it, and told the salesperson so. We will not be buying here again. Ever. I will not refer anyone here. Ever. This furniture experience is costing us money because now we are unable to move at the time we needed to move.
Had a great time shopping at Ashley HomeStore. My salesperson was Lonnie and he did an excellent job with the service. Very knowledgeable and Highly recommended. I ended up purchasing a sofa chaise and chair while working with him. Also, one of the managers Aaron is excellent. One of my favorite furniture stores in Charleston.
This has been the worst customer service experience that I’ve ever experienced. I ordered my furniture over 5 weeks ago and still don’t know when it’ll arrive. We are past the estimated date of delivery and now they’re estimating a delivery date of over 6 weeks. I’ve spoken to multiple representatives at the store including the store manager Frank and each interaction is worse than before. The first time that I spoke to him he promised one date of delivery and then later went back on his word. When I asked him about that he stated that he doesn’t remember that conversation and “speaks to a lot of customers”. I asked him a simple question of providing me a date to expect my furniture and he refused to do so and advised that there is no one that can assist me with my order. I also tried contacting Ashley Furniture’s main number to get some kind of update on my order but they’re unable to assist since they’re independently owned. It seems that there is no guarantee of any employees word at this store and no one holds them accountable. This is not my first time buying furniture from this location but it will certainly be my last.
Lonnie was our salesman, and he was amazing! He was very patient and personable, and made my first experience buying furniture for my first home very fun. The process went very smoothly, and he took the time to make sure I got everything I wanted. I am extremely thankful!
Albert was wonderful in helping my husband and I purchase our couch. We were indecisive and went back and forth, and he was happy to help us even as we changed our mind at the very end. Very happy with the customer service we received from everyone in the store.
The store is very well laid out and easy to browse. My fiance and I went looking for a couch and Jessica was absolutely phenomenal. She explained the layout of the store and was very nice and professional and gave us our space to browse. She wasn't pushy at all like some sales people can be. When we made our decision, she laid our different payment options so that we could make the best decision for us. I would 100% recommend this store and Jessica there!

I purchased a living room(3000$) at the April 19 and they promised me to get the living room around 3 to 4 weeks! Two days ago they sent me confirmation for delivery by email I approve the delivery for today the 29 of May on the confirmation they didn’t give me time for delivery, when I called them this morning to check When They’re should come the lady over the phone told me is not going to be today they miss part! Highly not recommend, waste my time and money, (I took a day off today because I did not know when they would arrive) One of the worst shopping experiences I have experienced!! I canceled the order let's see how long it will take them to return the money.

Never again bad experience N.Charleston, SC . They didn't honor the delivery date, came up with excuse. Asked to speak with an manager no result. Told them they should put up the bed free of charge for the inconvenience, more excuses came, then told me if I cancel then I'll be responsible for a 20% restock fee.... That's what happens when the staffs aren't on one accord and give false statement just to earn your business..to bad I can't give them 0 stars

I also had a wonderful experience a month ago when I bought a couch and had it delivered. The GM was very helpful and friendly. This is for online. DO NOT BUY ONLINE. There is a Facebook for buyers beware for this store. I would find it before buying from here. I was trying to buy a table and my card didn't go through. Went on my bank account and they took out $641.No order history or conformation email. Waited for an hour on the phone for someone to answer then hang up. So I did a call back and Got someone on the phone yesterday that said they take out money out of your bank to make sure you have enough in the bank to buy a product. ( Not only is that weird but, it doesn't add up. My table set was 1100. If that was the case wouldn't you at LEAST need that amount to take out if your making sure I have it in my account?) She said someone will call my phone within 48 hours before getting information from that she said she needed, she put me on hold for 40 minutes then my phone died. I called today for 2 call backs. And both times I went to answer they hung up. The 1st time they hung up on the 2nd ring and the 2nd time it only ringed once then they hung up....

Best furniture ever!
Had a few issues when they were going through some transitions that were very frustrating, but they beyond made up for it. The manager Frank is wonderful, he addressed all of my concerns and went above my expectations. I love Ashley furnitures quality and value but bad customer service will make me walk away from any business. Frank made sure we were well taken care of, I love everything we have purchased from them and we will definitely look there before going anywhere else in the future. Most recently we worked with Adam and he was wonderful. Highly recommend him. Thank you!

I bought furniture for my entire house 4 years ago. I also purchased the extended warranty. I was told that If I never had to file a claim I would be refunded the entire amount. Four years later, I am being told that it's a credit not a refund. I will never make a purchase with this company again.

The sales woman Jordan and her manager look for any avenue to rob you blind for their commission if you’re not paying attention. Please please please check the Ashley furniture online website before visiting the store. The store has higher prices than online and the staff members in store will doing anything to sell you the higher priced rate at any cost.

Bought a dining set. Store experience was fine. Had it delivered/installed. Installation was atrocious - the legs of the table were not even attached to the actual table, they were propped up with the bag of hardware not even touched. As soon as an ounce of pressure was applied to the table it almost crumbled. Glad no one leaned against it or was hurt but I don’t even understand how it’s possible something with such lack of care occurred. Would not recommend.

Alright Will, this is for you. The store itself is very organized (color and style wise) with matching sets near each other for convenience. Employees will find you, and you dont have to go searching for help! The lucky employee that dealt with my crazy family was Will, and he was thorough and detailed with his explanations and made sure we were satisfied with our choice. I saw a bedroom set online and called up and spoke with Will. He looked it up for me and told me they could order it as it wasn’t in the store, but I still wanted to look. We purchased a reclining lift chair at Ashley for my mother-in-law. Our salesperson was Jordan, she couldn't have been more helpful. My husband spoke to her on the phone a couple of times before we went in and she was able to answer all of his questions, when we arrived at the store she helped us to find the right chair. Our experience was a very positive one and we will be going back the next time we need furniture. We are from Andrews and there are closer Ashley Stores to us but this is the one we'll be going back to.

I can begin to tell you how great ALL of the staff has been at the North Charleston location! We have been in SC for the past 7 years and have bought all of our furniture from Ashley. Two weeks ago we came in to look around and while here lost my cars key fob. The staff was so friendly and helpful in looking, but with no luck that day. Two weeks later they called me to let me know they found it! That meant the world to us to know they cared enough to keep our number and return it to us! Not only are they trustworthy in returning lost items, they’re also trustworthy in giving us the beat deals! We love our new furniture and our new friends! Friendly staff but they should do better with delivery. I picked out a sofa and was told that I should be receiving it in about a week. It’s been over two weeks now and the only information I got as far as shipping dates was expect a call sometime after the 11th. Having a set day and time would be nice being that I have to plan out when I will need to be home but can’t due to poor communication. I will not be shopping here again.
I had placed an order and there was an unforeseeable glitch. I walked in the store and Miranda Fine greeted me at the door. She listened to my issue and said let’s get this fixed. She quickly worked with me to fix the issue. She went above and beyond!! She also followed up with me several times for details with the delivery. My furniture arrived. I was very pleased with the delivery team. I have an odd shaped room and wasn’t sure of the exact placement. I made a funny remark about when my son came he might have to move it to the other wall. They quickly said let’s place it both ways and see which works best. The furniture is quality and very heavy. We tried it the other way and it didn’t fit well. Now I don’t have to wonder or try moving it later. I can’t recommend Miranda enough! If you want a great experience finding furniture for your home go to the Centre Point Drive location and ask for Miranda. I promise you will not be disappointed!!

I was greeted by a very nice young lady by the name of Marie, she was very helpful, told me how the store thewas organized so I'd know which way I needed to go to browse their selection of what I was looking for. The store is beautifully decorated (a good place to get decorating ideas). Haley also assisted me with making purchases and matching the purchases to photos of the room I was decorating. So I purchase roughly 6K of furniture from this store. A glass of water gets on the dresser 40 day’s after I paid thousands for the set and permanently stains it, so it becomes obvious it’s a lemon product or just plain out poor quality. I attempted resolutions and reaching out to customer service who after the initial time began ignoring my emails, and I’d call with no avail. I highly greatly recommend you order online they come guaranteed and is better quality. Don’t buy from Ashley home stores they can care less about you once you walk out that door and drop 6,000 dollars. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS OR QUALITY. I am being very honest and blatant. I even walked in and the manager told me I didn’t vouch for the warranty, I did for my living room set because it was offered but for my bedroom set it wasn’t, so she goes to find the “document I initialed” to say no to the warranty and states she can’t find it. All around a joke.

Had a great experience purchasing new living room decor. I scored well on some coloed, leather couches and a few matching chairs.
Don't give hard working people a chance. They just turn people down without finding out more about there situation. 12/31/2019 I went there because a friend told me that they work with people with bad credit. When she went there to get furniture her credit was in the 400's and they gave her $7000 in credit. My credit is at 592 and the turned me down flat.

First let me say that the individuals at the store where really nice. The problem I had was that I picked out everything I wanted online when to the store to get it and it was quoted to me 1000 more. And that’s before delivery and installation fees. So I ordered all my things online to save a bit of money. I was shocked by the delivery tome one month. But ok. Fine it was relatively cheap. Then items started to be delivered ahead of time I was pleased. My sofa and dresser where to be delivered later. And I was contacted via call, text and email. The delivery date arrives. My dresser is broken it was anchored in the truck so it fell over and broke. They had the audacity to ask me if I still wanted it. NO I DON’T want the broken dresser. It then took them 30 more minutes to bring 2 pillows into my apartment and my sofa the base took over an hour to unload off the truck. Customer care is nothing but rude individuals working from home, on their comfortable furniture with no regard for the holidays. If you decide to shop with them I guess be able to afford to shop In store. Those individuals looking for a good bargain stay away from the online store. It’s the worst experience I’ve ever had and I wish I didn’t have family coming I’d send it all back. Update: My sofa was delivered and damaged. After waiting a month. They want to send a technician out to fix it. The first hole I found I was like ok but the broke. Zipper with the stuffing in the cushions coming out is to much. They want to charge me to return it. They won’t give me a refund, they won’t refund me my delivery fees. This is just the worst experience and I wish I could just push this mess off the balcony.
So disappointed! We were impressed by how nice & accommodating they were when we were buying our sectional and ottoman. My husband told the sales agent that we needed the sofa by the end of the next week and after a while back in the office he came out & said there were 7 more of the sofas in High Point so they could get ours to us the next week but the ottoman wouldn't arrive until the following week. By the next week we hadn't heard anything so I called & left a message with the sales agent. He replied to please text him. I did but he never answered. We called the store the following day and a nice lady took all of our information & said she would call back. She called back late that afternoon and said she would be speaking with the manager in the morning to see what could be done and they would call us. We never heard another word. Such poor customer service that they are just as nice as can be when they are taking your money, but after they have it they totally dissmiss you. We would not have bought this furniture if we couldn't get it by the time we needed it and told the salesman so. We will not be buying here again.

Shop Elsewhere! I purchased a couch from the North Charleston Ashley HomStore. When I went in and made the purchased I was told the item would take 6-8 weeks to come in because it was out of stock. The good news is 3 days later I got a call that they had them in stock and schedule a delivery for the following week. During that call I was told I would receive a call this afternoon to give me my time window of when the couch would be delivered. At 5pm I still had not received a call, I had called and left a message for a call back. At 6pm I called the store to speak with my salesperson Will and see if I can get some answers. He was unavailable but the person who answered had told me that if I didnt receive a call I got bumped from the schedule but maybe they would deliver to me. With that answer being no help I asked for Will to call me back. He did and said he would have to speak with his manager and would follow up. I got another call from Will assuring me that I was on the schedule they just don't have a time frame because there was a meeting and all the managers were out to dinner, but that I would definitely get the couch. So basically I was left to wait my whole day because a manager couldn't be interrupted from this dinner meeting. 30 minutes later I got a call back from a manager telling me that they are sorry for the confusion but the store doesn't deal with deliveries it's the warehouse. (Nice attempt to wash their hands of the problem) At this point I was told that I would not be getting my couch tomorrow instead I would hear back from customer support to set up a time for delivery another day. The customer service level here is awful, no one can own up to anything or give a straight answer. If you want a good experience go elsewhere because you most likely won't get one here. Update- The following day when I was supposed to hear from customer support to schedule delivery. I had to reach out to Will go get an answer and was told the item in the warehouse was assigned to another store and I would have to wait 5-7 weeks to get a couch. Their inventory management is an absolute joke. Shop Elsewhere!
If I could rate it any lower I definitely would. I purchased a dining room table a month ago and was told that I would hear from them in a week about my delivery and nothing so I finally called and spoke to my sales rep. She called me the next day only to inform me that my table which is suppose to be a new collection was on back order until the end of Jan. And was offered the floor model. I took the floor model and was told it would be taken off floor for me but no discount. Long story short my table arrived damaged, late etc. I have attempted to speak with several managers at this location only to be still dissatisfied and have expressed to them about who they treated me. I was also asked if I financed which was a insult because it shouldn’t matter. I have now been awaiting 2 weeks for the issue to be resolved and not a peep from anyone since Nov 10th. I have left several messages with no call back. I have even went to the store and got weird glares from workers and no access or assistance. I have asked for cooperate number to be told that only the store manager can give it. I love Ashley products but I would advise you going else where to purchase products. The only good thing of this experience was my phone rep Porsha from Florence and Jessica a sales for manager. 12/10/19. ITS PRETTY SAID THAT I GET A OWNER TO REPLY AND DO WHAT WAS ASKED ONLY TO BE RAILROADED and NO ONE HAS CONTACTED ME. I HAVE YET TO BE ISSUED ANY TYPE OF REFUND. Not acceptable
I was having an online order issue for a dining room set so I decided to take a long shot and contact the Ashley store in Charleston where my family lives to see if it was possible to just place an order at the store. Delivery online was going to take more than a month. Lonnie was the sales associate who helped me. He was extremely knowledgeable, accommodating and professional. He helped bring the in-store purchase to fruition within hours with me being across the miles doing the transaction by phone. My family is now able to pick up the furniture within a couple of days instead of waiting for delivery a month out. Now their out-of-town family guests will have a place to dine! Thank you, Lonnie. Went with my brother-in-law. He bought a new mattress. Most people just said hello and left you alone. Kind of nice of you don't want to be bothered. If you do need help it's a little difficult sometimes cuz they're all doing something else but overall a good experience!

I'd like to thank Steve for being polite and helpful in marking down the price on a couch I was looking to buy when I showed the online price was much lower than the in-store version. Negative points for the goofy delivery in which one day, I was told on the phone that they would be arriving by 6:30 PM but they showed up at my empty place at 5:10, prompting a reschedule for the next week; fast-forward to today, and they said that there was a time window of 3:30-6:30 PM. I got a call around 4:30 that they were running late and would not arrive until 7. It is now past 7, and calling customer service bears no fruit as they just closed. So are they coming, or will I have to wait another week? Stay tuned. EDIT: Delivery team ended up arriving around 10:30 PM since their truck would not start. Still, they arrived, set up my couch, and delivered as promised by the promised delivery date, so I bumped the review up by a star for their will to stay up and work late. Thanks, team!
When you go ask for Lonnie. He was very attentive and I left feeling good about the furniture I purchased and the price I paid. The store was arranged nicely and the service was good all the way through checkout.

I recently purchased furniture from Ashley Furniture for our home in Florida. It was not a pleasant experience. I have dealt with many furniture stores in the past and this Company has the worse Customer Service from placing orders to delivery of furniture..I had placed orders, they were cancelled or misplaced...delivery dates were changed without informing me on the date of delivery...A 4 hr time slot is given to you without the driver calling prior to his arrival...in today’s world that is inexcusable. Management does not care about their customer. Trying to accommodate a customer does not exist within Ashley. I will never buy another piece of furniture from this Company...if this Company doesn’t turn around their customer service it will not survive in today’s world.
They did a multiple inquiry on our credit and brought our credit score way down all unawares.

Last weekend we purchased a dining table, 8 chairs and an island. We were initially told it would be 3-8 weeks for delivery. However, Sara is amazing and worked her magic and now all items are being loaded on a truck out of NC today! Fantastic news as we were wanting this in time for Thanksgiving. I came into Ashley Furniture and purchased a new mattress with adjustable base a head board and footboard and desk. I would like to give a shout out to Dalton in sales for being so professional, and helpful!!!! I also came back today and purchased a Area Rug and had a question about my previous order and Mr. Kevin was super helpful and polite and most of all professional!!!! I am a life time customer. Also shout out to the General Manager Mr. Frank that made sure my delivery was scheduled and I had a follow up call to make sure that all questions were answered...... Great Team!!!! I'm very disappointed with the delivery service of this company. They do not honor time window commitments, which is very inconsiderate and unprofessional to our clients, who are having furniture delivered to our place of business. I would not recommend them for delivery service moving forward. Not only do not they not honor delivery time windows, but the delivery department is difficult to contact. Very Disappointed to say the least.
Update. It gets even worse. Order was delayed. I drove to pick up order because if not the they charge you a lot for shipping. While unboxing order, item was broken. Call customer service cannot even send someone to pick up. Do not buy Ashley
When I went into the store the salesman pushed the protection plan so hard. If I got the plan I would receive specific diacounts. I was able to by the Table set for less than he offered on line. I purchasd the delivery with assembly. A month later delivery team shows up. Table gets the assembly however, Im left to put all the chairs together myself. I had a dryer delivered by a different company. It was dented with damage to my walls. In today's world customer service is gone. What's in your wallet, that's the theme in today's world. Its getting old. Delivery team never put this table together before and they do not have instructions.

Bought a king bed. It’s broken twice because of the tiny screws they use to keep it together. Then (because we thought the bed was just a fluke thing), we bought a couch. It was delivered broken. Will not be buying furniture from here again.
if you can buy your furniture in any other place - do it !!! Do NOT use Ashely Furniture as their customer service is terrible. It is already few weeks when we are waiting for them to fix our two drawers. We bought bedroom set from them and one furniture was delivered with two drawers now working. It was immediately added to the report when they delivered it but we still were asked to contract customer service to have it fixed. After contacting customer service they said that they will fix it ... it is already 3 weeks and they are still sending us drawers each week that are not working. Even better ... just yesterday they sent us another drawer, of course this time drawer is not working, but as well the size is not even matching!!! Try to call them .. voice mail after voice mail I hope one day we will get it fixed as I am waiting for the beautiful day to come, the day that we don’t have to deal with them anymore. We just bought a house and need to buy more furnitures, but for sure nothing more at this place !!!! Barbara
Do not buy Furniture here they have customer no service yes they will take your money make you sign papers that deal is finial on the day you sign YAY! wait till you want to get your furniture delivered or not delivered! Great selection at great prices, but it took our sale rep TWO HOURS just to place our order. Wrote everything down on paper and then went back and entered it into the computer. Was close just to saying forget it!!!! UPDATE: 4 weeks later, the distribution center says I won’t get my furniture for THREE MONTHS. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Looks like a major trend with this company and specific location!! False delivery expectations and no return calls!! Colleague and I both moved to town and ordered furniture from Ashley Charleston. She was told 3 weeks and set delivery date and then pushed 2 weeks further once that date hit. We were deeply concerned and reading reviews that we will also not get our furniture as promised or that they didn't have record of it, called and left voicemail 3 times. No callback. They have extremely poor customer service and don't have any concern on hitting delivery needs. Still waiting for a callback. Keep you posted google.
They took nearly 3 months to deliver our sofa and it broke immediately upon sitting down. I had paid extra for the insurance/repair service, so I gave them a call. They had the audacity to tell me to fix it myself. It wasnt until I called their corporate office that I was able to schedule a repairman. They didn't fix my couch until 2 months after it was delivered. Horrible service.

I'm completely annoyed with this company (specifically in North Charleston) and I can't wait to finish doing business with them. I ordered 2 bedroom pieces and 1 living room set mid July. For some reason 1 of my bedroom pieces couldn't be delivered until the END OF AUGUST and no one could tell me why. Additionally Larry wasn't the best person to help me answer some questions I had. My final bedroom piece finally arrived August 31st. I'd already left town for work and had to coordinate between the distribution center and my delegate. The third party movers who delivered my bedroom set were unbelievably rude to me on the phone and to my delegate. Disgusting customer service. To make matters worse, once assembled the movers discovered that the bed frame was warped and couldn't be completely assembled. They said they would contact customer service who should send out another technician to help me. Once I reached out to customer service they weren't exactly sure what the issue was and made me contact ANOTHER third party technician. Once the third party company reached out to me, they told me the customer, via voicemail, what day they will be coming to my house. I then spent 2 days calling the company to reschedule but consistently got the voicemail. I am military and while away I'm forced to use a delegate to handle such matters. Once I tentatively rescheduled, the technician warned me I might be charged a fee for rescheduling. Mind you, this appointment is solely for a technician to LOOK at the bed-frame to see what's the problem, meaning I'd have to make 2 separate appointments, one to SEE the problem, the next to FIX the problem. I'm completely appalled at the customer service of this company. Once fixed, I cannot imagine doing business with them again.

Flat out lied to us about the delivery date. A district trainer just happened to be in the North Charleston store. He closed the sale by saying that he guaranteed our furniture would be delivered in two to three weeks. Now it has been 5 WEEKS! No furniture. Scott Freeman was the district trainer that apparently decided to say whatever it took to get the sale. Would not trust or shop with Ashley Furniture ever again. Stay away from these people. You will end up frustrated.
NEVER WILL I EVER SHOP AT ASHLEY'S EVER AGAIN.... we ordered a couch, desk and a mattress and bed frame 3-4 months ago the desk, couch and mattress came in a month ago but received a phone call saying that they didn't have our bed frame... come to find out that the model we ordered they didn't have in a king.... cool so we went back to the showroom picked out another bed frame which we weren't completely happy with because it wasn't the one we had originally picked out so we settled. Tonight our bed frame came in originally we were told that they would be arriving between 230-530 pm ... it was 8pm when they showed up and they showed up with the wrong bed frame which was damaged. This isn't our first bad experience with this company here in South Carolina we picked out a bed in the showroom and with my wife's latex allergy we couldnt get the ine we wanted so we chose another one and guess what... they sent the latex bed. I'd also like to add that they work these delivery guys to death I felt bad for them because they had to be out so late. I'm taking my business to Rooms To Go the process was simpler and took them half the time to deliver our product. I just dont understand how Ashley's Furniture is still in business
I ordered a bed frame from Ashley's Home store. I waited month and half. And I received a call saying that the manufacturer makes that bed anymore. But I ordered it before they stopped making them. So then I had to go back up there and pick out another bed. Now it's been almost three months of waiting. I received a bed frame tonight NOT AT ALL what I wanted. So I accepted it because I been waiting this long. As my husband and I were putting our box spring and mattress on we noticed it is messed up and trim is falling off the side boards. I am furious that I waited so long and it's broken. Ahhhhh!!!!!

I don't even want to give this experience a 1 star review. I purchased a 7 piece bedroom set that was delivered damaged so I refused the whole order. I was told customer service would contact me in 24hrs to resolve the issue and setup for new furniture to be delivered but almost 48hrs went by still no call. I reached out to them. Seems like they are so used to getting complaints from damaged furniture being delivered they are numb to even care or correct the situation. I spoke with a supervisor named Porsha that hung up on me after she placed me on hold to review my account. I contacted the store I purchased from and let them know what happen. Later Porsha left a voicemail saying they would refund me my money. ASHLEY FURNITURE DIDN'T EVEN ATTEMPT TO FIX THE ISSUE. INSTEAD THEY JUST WANTED TO REFUND ME AND BASICALLY TELL ME TO TAKE MY MONEY ELSEWHERE. Well I'm truly glad for this experience because I will never give them the satisfaction of a purchase. All of my friends, family, co-workers will know about this. I see all the reviews of people that have the same issue I had with the damage furniture. You'd think they would care to fix the issue but they dont. I will be taking screenshots of all the negative comments and posting it on my jobs Facebook page so all 8000 employees know not to purchase from there along with all friends and family members.

Bought items from them and they were delivered defective, bed headboard/frame doesn't fit together and was just left in the middle of the bedroom, couch not put together properly and desk not assembled correctly. I called the store 3 times and customer service 3 times and keep getting runaround saying someone will be out there to "take a look at it" in 3 weeks to see what needs to be done. Do not buy from here, once the sale is done they don't care
We had our delivery scheduled 8/27/19 between 12:30 PM and 3:30 PM. Confirmed via text and robo call. Placed a call to customer service at 3:45 on 8/27/19. Was told "they are 1 mile away, you are the next stop, give them another (delivery team) 30-40 mins". At 4:10 PM customer service called to say "they (delivery team) are not far from you, they (delivery team) ran into a delay with their current stop. Current customer has issue with their delivery. You are the next stop, it will be another 40-60 mins." At 5:45 PM customer service called back and said "The delivery team is still at their previous location, we apologize for the delay. You are the next stop and they (delivery team) should be there between 6:30 PM and 7 PM." At 7:30 PM made a call to customer service. They closed at 6 PM. Attempted a Google Search and at 7:50 PM called the local store. Was told "We are sorry, understand your concern and will relay the message to the Delivery Manager to get in touch with you." At 8:33 PM received a txt, our deliver will reach us in approx. 20 mins. At 8:45 PM crew arrived to deliver and setup. Our sectional pieces do not fit together properley- uneven. **Delivery is a contractor, Adrian Smith Legacy Resources. Their guys were fantastic. Polite, apologetic, efficient. No complaints. This experience with Ashley Home Furniture is less than positive. Have dealt with Rooms To Go and Haverty's previously, they will get our business going forward.

Like the store the new layout is very well done just need to expand their area for modern industrial. Also more colors wouldn't hurt

how to begin... ordered our furniture with Lonnie in June and were told everything would be in on July 28th. After 7/28 went by I called to check our status and left 3 messages with the delivery number I was given, no call backs ever. I finally reached someone in the local store and they had no record of our order so I called Lonnie (our salesman) and he was able to locate everything. I was then contacted to set up delivery for 8/7 but was informed all my furniture was not in yet and that it would take two deliveries and there would be an additional charge for that. I said that wasn't happening and after a bit and a call to management they agreed to waive the additional $50 charge. On 8/7 my furniture arrived minus a few things and a damaged couch that had to be returned and a promise someone from customer care would reach out to review the damage and get me a new sofa. 4 days later and still no call i tried several other numbers with no help and finally got Lonnie who said he would get customer care to call me back, which they finally did and scheduled a new sofa to be delivered 8/14. I never got a confirmation call for the 8/14 delivery so I reached out to the store again and was told they had no delivery scheduled for me on that date but would I like to set one up. They rescheduled me for 8/21 between 8:30 and 11:30, at 12:30 I called to check my status and after speaking with 3 different people was told the delivery had been cancelled but couldn't tell me by who, even though I got a robot call at 9 p.m. the night before reminding me of the delivery scheduled for the next day. I finally received a call from the warehouse scheduling me for another delivery date for 8/22. I had to take 2 days off from work to be home for my deliveries that never happened and another half day for the one that finally did. I have spent several thousand dollars with Ashley Furniture in the past year and can honestly say they will never see me or my family in one of their stores again. Worst experience I can recall with a company that supposedly prides themselves on customer service and quality furniture.

We ordered furniture about month ago. 90% were wrong or damaged. Delivery guys scratched walls pretty much. We came 3 times to the store and complained, but they don’t do anything with it. Went to Ashley to buy Tempur pedic mattresses, slit king, adjustable bases. Total almost 7,000. Asked several time if these were Tempur pedic, told absolutely. Showed us the mattresses and bases, had massage, zero gravity, lights in the base. Arrived as promised, but we got bases that were not Tempur pedic, no massage or lights. They said they had ordered the wrong item and we would have to pay more if we want the Tempur pedic.Manager was very abrupt, said they only thing they could do was give us Ashley bases with massage. Sales person said they told him another mistake and he was done. I said I would have purchases through Temper pedic if I had known we weren’t getting what we wanted. I feel I was pressured into taking the Ashley brand by the salesperson and two other male managers. When they arrived the drive showed me the remote and it was the base model without massage or lights. Refused to except the delivery. Every time I talk with the manager he acts like he doesn’t know what is going on, then gets rude. I feel they should give us what was promised, if I wanted a inexpensive brand I would have purchased a n inexpensive brand. Asked to talk with the store owner and told that was not possible. Be sure to check every detail of any sales you do through them. I will not go there again.
This place is a SCAM. We have had 3 broken pieces of furniture from the NORTH Charleston store in less than 1.5 years. The manager is "unavailable" for the last 8 phone calls. The same piece of furniture has broken TWICE and I was to purchase another protection plan to cover the second that broke??? My entire QUEEN BED broke and they will only replace one board. and it took 8 weeks for someone to relay this info to me. I honestly don't see how these people sleep at night.

Absolutely wonderful shopping experience! CJ Robinson was such a huge help and extremely helpful! We got updates on our furniture and it was ready 2 weeks ahead of schedule!! Love our living room furniture and highly recommended! Make sure you ask for CJ!!!

Decided to do the sale and then got to the front, price changes. They were unwilling to match the price that THEIR salesperson gave. Then Willis McReynolds decided to strike a deal with me that I didn't take at the time. Walks me out the store, gives me his card and then tells me to call him if I change my mind or if he can help in any way. Get there today, get a whole different story. Talk to the store manager ( who was very nice), however I do felt he could have did more after I told him about my first experience and now this experience today. He could have contacted his manager. I don't feel like he went the extra step when dealing with customer service. But I will not take his niceness away. Willis McReynolds denied the whole conversation in front of the store manager after me driving 45 minutes back to the store. Willis McReynolds lied and I'm not a very happy customer. Very bad taste in my mouth.

Jessica and Rosalind were absolutely amazing from start to finish. I could not have asked for better service. Jessica pointed us in the right direction and gave us the right amount of time to look around to find what we were looking for. Rosalind is an angel. She helped get us checked out and finalize our purchase. I had some issues with my card, but she was patient and kind. I wish I could take both of them home with me when my new couch and coffee table come in! 10/10 will purchase from those lovely ladies again.
The beginning of my shopping experience with my husband was amazing and honestly 5 stars to our sales person and the management! We ended up spending between $1400-1600 on our first couch for our first apartment which has literally nothing in it after relocating to Charleston SC from out of state. We were given an arrival date of July 9th, Tuesday, 2019 with an original time frame of 1130am-230pm. We confirmed this time frame and date, over and over due to both of our work schedules and made the day available. 230pm rolls around and we have no couch and no calls or emails. We reach out to be notified there was a delay and now we are expecting the couch between 430pm-530pm. No big deal, life happens, a little irritated no one followed up but whatever. Customer service rep says the driver will call us and we will be getting our couch. We let her know again, about our schedule and how today is the only day that will work for us. 555pm arrives. No couch. No call. No email. Once again we call seriously questioning why we paid for a delivery and assemble fee of $89 for no service to be provided what so ever. We are informed by the customer rep she’s not sure why the driver hasn’t reached out to us and now our delivery time has been changed without notice to 600pm-630pm. At this point we are frustrated and have not had a single call from the driver. Again we call the rep to be sent to voicemail. Beyond disappointed. It’s past their closing time and we haven’t had a call from the driver.

We came in knowing exactly what we wanted and Lonnie worked to get the best possible price. It was 2nd trip in and Lonnie had helped us the first time so I sought him out when it was time to buy. He is a no pressure, helpful, knowledgeable and professional salesperson. I couldn't be happier with my experience!
I'm only giving two stars on account of the sales staff, which was a good experience. Lonnie was very helpful in assisting us purchase several rooms of furniture. What happened after that continues to still be ridiculous and unsatisfactory! I wish I could rate the quality of the furniture and the Customer Service Center separately, each would get ZERO stars. It's been over four weeks and the issues with my new furniture purchase have not been corrected..... My dining table and chairs were delivered damaged. Took two calls to the Customer Service Center and a week in a half to get someone out to look at at them. Moreover, I could not believe the Service Rep had the audacity to offer me $50 to not have someone come out and look at/fix my brand new table with structural damage. If wanted busted a** furniture I could have bought from the Goodwill store and saved several thousand $$$. The chair was "fixed" on site, but still looks damaged. Still waiting on table, who knows when that will get here (likely by Christmas since my initial order was placed Memorial Day weekend). Second issue - delivery was broken to four deliveries (what a waste of time for people with jobs). Was supposed to only be two. I could deal with three, but on that delivery only the footboard & side rails to the bed were on the truck. When we called the Customer Service Center inquiring where the rest of the bed was they accused us of lying and insisted we had already received the headboard and demanded pictures of all the furniture we had received. Apparently someone at Ashley got confused as they thought our six piece livingroom sectional was the headboard, I mean really !!?? Not even the same color. Third, what prompts me to write this at 2am is my week and a half old bed making a loud cracking noise. We pull the mattress up to discover the three tiny pine toothpicks holding up a heavy king size mattress are breaking!!! We are not large people and there should be no reason for this, except poor quality!! I would expect this from IKEA furniture, but not Ashley. Guess I'm going to Lowe's tomorrow to buy some supplies to better reinforce the bed. I would suggest to anyone if you do buy from Ashley, plan on paying extra for the warranty ( you'll likely need it. Unless you dont have kids, plan on putting plastic covers over furniture, and never using it) or eventually be out your hard earned money you just spent on brand new furniture ☹ Overall my experience with Ashley Furniture has been poor and frustrating.

Then I went to Ashley HomeStore in North Charleston and met Jessica Seino she was very friendly and helpful. I went in with a idea and came out with more than I expected. Kevin is super nice, goes out of his way to help answer any questions we had!!He even emailed all the different types of material for things I was interested in.i couldn't of been more pleased.. I was skeptical since I have never purchased from any Ashley home store. I will definitely go back.

Terrible experience. Our sales girl told us our furniture would be available by the 1st for pick up so many times. We were so convinced it would be in on the 1st that we NEVER even looked at the sales slip, until our stuff was expected to be available for pickup. To our surprise, our stuff was not scheduled to arrive for almost another week. We've tried multiple times to speak to a manager but were always told they are unavailable in a meeting. We were even told once we could drive up to the store to speak with a manager. Our sales girl was admittedly somewhat absent-minded throughout our whole transaction process. I guess I should have been a little more cautious. Hard lesson learned. Never will I shop Ashley again.
I came in and it was a relief not being attacked by the representatives. Larry saw that I needed help and navigated the store showing me all items I asked him about. He was very knowledgeable and even helped me online browsing and provided me with availability information on items that were in stock. Great experience! Coming back this Saturday for my official purchase!
Just moved to Charleston and went to Ashley HomeStore looking for a couch. Laura was great to work with and helped me find exactly what I was looking for with the budget I had in mind. The process was simple and the couch was eventually delivered over a week before it was scheduled to. The couch is high quality and comfortable. Overall, a great experience at the store and I could definitely see myself returning.
My husband and I visited the store and was greeted kindly by Elise B. She showed concern due to me being on crutches and immediately offered a wheelchair. She spoke with us concerning what we were looking for and allowed us the freedom to look at everything in the store. She came by periodically and was able to answer every question we had efficiently. She helped us to purchase a sectional with an arrangement to fit our new home. She listened to our concerns for placement, provided privacy while I FaceTimed my mom to verify my decision to purchase was a good one. Elise was kind, patient and respectful. She made my husband and I feel like she is the difference in wanting to come in the store rather than shopping on line. If we need anything else that Ashely Furniture provides to make our new house feel more like a home we will begin the next journey with Elise.

Lonnie was amazing! He helped us for anything we needed and we now are proud owners of a beautiful sectional and I would come here again and again and only ask for Lonnie. He didn't want us to get anything we weren't wanting and very quick with getting us the fastest service and delivery times. Also the Rosalind in the back department handling my paperwork was AMAZING and so nice. She talk to me and also explained how everything works as I had to wait.

Update: My delivery experience was horrible. I was given a time frame of 12-3p so I took a 1/2 day to be there. They verified that time. The day of delivery I get a call at 2:30 saying they will not be there until 4. At 4, I get a call saying it's going to be 5:45. At 6:15, they say it will be 7. They showed up shortly after 7 and I was 2 hours late for meeting a group of people, including some from out of town. Luckily, I did talk Ashley into refunding the delivery. However, I had to follow up on that (twice) before it was taken care of. The couch itself is not good. It creaks more than my Great Uncle's farmhouse stairs, the seat cushions seem to have minimal support towards the middle of the couch. There is a large piece of wood the runs the length the couch at lower back height you can routinely hit if you sit in the wrong position, not to mention the wood running up and down that sits kind of between the cushions you can easily feel as well. Honestly, it's not a good piece of furniture. I realize all sales are final, I went into this knowing that. Bad decision on my part. The only good part of my experience was my salesperson and the other people at the store itself. As my new couch will not be delivered for about a month, this review is for my salesperson--Lonnie Hazelton. He was extremely engaging, professional, and knowledgeable. He was kind enough to let me wander on my own after a bit of discussion and tour of what was on the floor, and worked with me when it was time to make a decision. I cannot thank him enough for working with me.

Feels like a long time for delivery
This was a 2 day experience for me. Day one was easy. Haley was great and even allowed me to text her for questions after I left. She worked up an invoice for me and I returned on day two to pay. The sales manager was extremely rude when I came in - I asked if there were any additional discounts if I paid in full or paid with their line of credit - she said “HAH!! Nice try!” The man who was ringing up (my already pieced together invoice) acted extremely bothered during the whole process (I’m assuming bc he wasn’t receiving credit for the sale). At the end, he told me to stand by a table so he could go get his sales manager....and never returned. The turning point during this experience was SARA! She was so friendly and helpful. She happily answered all of my questions and even THANKED me for my business....something that the sales manager and the salesperson NEVER did. Even when I left, the two men standing by the door didn’t even acknowledge me. Working in sales and customer service myself, this whole experience was awful (with the exception of sweet Sara & helpful Haley). Had it not been for Sara and her professional gratitude at the end of the experience, I would have been tempted to take my sale elsewhere. (I purchased almost $3k in furniture and I’m sure any other store would have been HAPPY to have my sale). Sara definitely needs a raise. The other team members could use a lesson in customer service.

Worst service ever. They don’t care.
We puchased a couch, mattress, and foundation from this store. We were never informed that the mattress was backordered and delaying our entire order until we called to check on the order. It was at that time, after our prompting, that we were told they were "looking for another mattress". Our order was then put on the schedule to arrive today, 5 days after we expected, between the hours of 1 and 4. I write this message at 5:45 and we still do not have our order. The delivery driver called earlier and said it was delayed until 5:15. We called st 5:30 and they now say 6:30. In addition, I posted the sutuation regarding the backordered item to Ashley Furniture's social media. That same day there were 2 other posts, in addition to mine, with the same complaint - not being informed of a backordered item. Ashley furniture responded to all 3 of our messages with the same exact scripted response- to email them more information. They never responded to my email (sent last week) and also deleted all 3 of the posts from their social media account. Their customer service has been absolutely terrible. They have no respect for their customers. I will never shop here again and have already reccomended to a friend who had asked me where we were getting our furniture from to not order from Ashley.

Today, I stopped by the store with my fiancé to check out a sofa I had been “courting” on the Ashley furniture website. We were quickly and pleasantly greeted by Haley who gave us the run down about financing and about the layout of the store. We walked around, left the store to consult in the car and then came back in. Haley was quickly by my side to answer my question about pricing. Although, we didn’t make a purchase today I was certainly impressed with the level of service and I am rarely impressed. Thanks Haley!

Worse experience at an Ashley Furniture Store. Bought a SHELF and had to wait 5 MONTHS to pick it up at their warehouse, No not delivery but pick up. Once I got it home it only required 20 screw to assemble, what should be a 10 minute task and it's up. Now the last screw needs to be placed for the cross rods and of course the screw pilot hole is not lined up correctly. How is it possible to screw up such an easy piece of furniture from start to finish! I will never shop at this location again.
Moving from Maryland and needed to purchase furniture. Lonnie was extremely helpful with answering questions about the furniture we chose. He also suggested some places to visit when we move. Everyone was very friendly. We will be going back to purchase other items.
This was the worst buying experience ever. Started off great. Found what I was looking for and the salesperson was helpful. Ordered the furniture and that's when the customer service ended I guess. I waited until the last day of the projected date the furniture would arrive. No one called. I called numerous times before I got anything helpful. They said the furniture wouldn't even arrive at the distribution center until 19 days after then. I was like when was they going to tell me this. Here I am with no table having been told something different. Then trying to cancel the order they wanted me to keep the order so they offered me $100 off my $1500 order. Well thanks for paying for the delivery but no thanks. Customer service should continue through delivery. Crazy thing is that I love Ashley furniture but probably will never go back. Then I get a thank you card for my purchase....I'm assuming my salesperson has no clue. Not the way to conduct business
If you don't want the run around about something you paid for please don't shop here. Its ridiculous that you have to wait almost a month for furniture to be delivered. I really thought individuals was joking when they spoke about this company. I won't be purchasing another thing from Ashley Furniture.
Lonnie was awesome! I was really indecisive and could not decide what I wanted and Lonnie was very patient with us! If I am still in the area when I need more furniture, I will definitely come back to Ashley Homestore and shop with Lonnie.
We stopped in looking for coffee and end tables. Lonnie, the sales associate was helpful and a very honest person. We found what we were looking for and he told us that it might even be cheaper if we looked online. We followed his advice and came back to the store with a significantly lower quote. He said no problem and they matched the price.
Over Priced Garbage.
I was supposed to get my couch today. But I called them to find out why it wasn’t here and they said they tried earlier. I informed them I work from home. No one called and no one knocked. I’ve been here all day. They then read out the wrong phone number to me. Understand they had to call me to setup the initial delivery date. How do they have the wrong phone number now? So now I have to wait for an additional week to get my couch I already paid over a grand for with a 80 dollar delivery fee. Look for 80 dollars I’m expecting you to at least do the bare minimum. I could order a couch from Amazon for free with Amazon prime and I would’ve had it here guaranteed. This is highly unprofessional and unacceptable. They won’t even talk about refunding partially for the inconvenience. Honestly it’s just completely infuriating.
Online prices are significantly lower. So expect to pay 30% more in store for the same thing.

Had a good experience in store, although they were too pushy about financing as soon as we mentioned we’re paying upfront the full amount. You’re making a sale; don’t try to slam me with ridiculous hidden fees. Also opted for pick up because delivery fee is ridiculous and the time frame was better. However, when I called to check the date it would arrive( a week and a half after ordering), it’s still two weeks away. I would have went to a different place if I knew how long it would be.

Coming here was the best decision my husband and I made. Deborah was the lady that helped us, and is still helping us. She went absolutely above and beyond, and took so much time to really help us find the perfect pieces for our new home. We can be picky and sometimes have odd requests, and she took everything in stride and really wowed us with her professionalism, knowledge, and helpfulness. All the associates at this store are truly wonderful and welcoming. We will definitely keep shopping here for our furniture needs in the future!

Update #2:DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!! they gave us a delivery date of today just called to get a time when they would be coming. I was told they called to reschedule (my already three month late furniture) They never called us. This place is honestly so unprofessional, going there today to try to cancel my order. This is beyond ridiculous, I'm so angry. Oh and they said it wont even be in the warehouse until the 18th, do they think we don't have job and can just wait around forever? DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!! Update: Called again the lady I spoke with was so rude and just not helpful at all. We still don't have our furniture and the first few time I called nobody even answered. We were told our furniture is at least on a truck now but nobody called to tell us it was there at all. We are also being billed even though we were told we wouldn't be billed until we had everything. Now they are trying to say they never told us that. I wish I could honestly give with place NEGATIVE starts. Not worth the headache or the hassle. We are now just angry and still waiting. And dont bother waiting for a call back because they never will call you back. THIS PLACE IS THE WORST! We bought furniture here in the beginning of January they told us it was backordered until the end of January which was fine. Around the last week of January we called to see if we needed to set up a ship date and they told us we wouldn't have it until the end of February. We were pretty confused because that's not what they had told us before so when we questioned them they were very rude and we were told we would get a call back. It's now almost mid February and we never got a call so we called again and now they are saying we won't be getting our furniture until the second week of March. Its completely unprofessional and if we had known it would have been such a hassle we would never have bought from them. Each time we call the employees are very rude or just don't answer the phone. Save yourself the hassle and go anywhere else.

We had a very good experience at the North Charleston Ashley Home Store. We were immediately greeted by Lonnie who offered to help us when we had any questions. He did not hover over us which was refreshing. We ended up purchasing a kitchen table and mattress in part due to Lonnie help.
I worked with a man name Lonnie. He took the time to understand me as a person before showing me specific items on the floor. We walked around several times and I was about to leave but he decided to show me additional items on the floor monitor. I found something that was perfect for my room. I came in the store looking for a small item and decided to purchase something much nicer. I appreciate the fact that he wasn’t a demanding salesperson. The furniture is made of good quality.

Very disappointed with the customer service online. I ordered a sectional and got 3 telephone calls and several emails over the past week and half stating my furniture would be delivered tomorrow. After rearranging my work schedule and scheduling everything else to be delivered on the day I took off Ashley Furniture calls the day before and tells me it is now going to be another week or 2 before my furniture arrives!!! Thanks but no thanks! CANCEL ORDER! Not One I mean not one person asked why I was cancelling my order! So goes to show they care nothing about customer service!

Bought a power loveseat and coach plus protection for $2150.00. The salesperson Jessica was great.(reason for 2 stars instead of one) Was delivered 1st week of Feb. One week later we called because left side of loveseat was sinking unevenly. Right side had no cushion on leg stand so legs rested on metal. Called Techs and they came out 10 days later. Told my wife the rightside did not have enough filling and left needed new part. Recieved call from North Charleston Cust service and told that the indentation and loss of cushion was NORMAL WEAR & TEAR...REALLY only had $2000. Furniture 1 week before we called. Then they told us the manager would not do anything about it cause we used it alot....I very upset said we only had it 1 week..She very rudely said Oh didnt know that. I will tell manager he will call you back. That was 3 days ago. Nothing. I would not buy any furniture from a local place that does not care about you after they have the money.. They did not have the decency to look up how long we had the furniture before saying Normal wear &tear. Wow really great service. I will make sure i tell everyone that asks about my new furniture, my experience with this store. Scott Carson
Super busy store that is still completing construction. There were many choices of items to choose from. Great sale going on for Presidents Day. Would have liked salespersons to be more attentive but they were very busy.

Ashley Furniture tried to charge $200 to deliver and set up a bed frame that cost $350... I opted to deliver and set it up myself... I was given a frame slightly different than the instructions, where there was a lip over where I needed to screw the supports to the frame, making it a 2 hour battle to get 6 screws in... I tried to leave a review online for the product so others would know and Ashley Furniture rejected my review because it "drives business away" and "mentions price." What a load of BS! So I had to post here to let others know - the people at this store may be great, but the company as a whole is a sham. Will be looking elsewhere for the rest of my furniture.

The service from our associate Bobbi Jo was truly exceptional. From door to product took literally 4 minutes. Very attentive to the exact needs that were presented. All aspects of the purchase were handled with diligence especially delivery. Thank you. Also the fact of being handicapped the sales associate Bobbi Jo was a great help in regards to aiding me around the store with a wheelchair.
The staff is always very friendly and eager to brainstorm and help; delivery process was thorough and very simple/easy. I hope I can find a reason to visit after the current remodel is complete!

Went in yesterday to get a recliner and was very pleased with the service that Lori R. gave us. When we first walked in there were like 5 or 6 salesmen looking like a pool of sharks, but then came Lori. She was very professional, took our wants, and gave us space. We bought 2 sofas (Brassville Reclining Sofas) here with the help of Miranda. We had an excellent experience. This was a rather large purchase, and we wanted to make sure we were going to be really happy. Miranda was very courteous, very patient (which may have taken extra effort with us!!) knowledgeable, and competent. We have been highly gratified with this purchase. It took us some going around to settle on these, but we have spent so much time on them since they arrived! These are made for curling up, reclining (the whole sofa reclines when you recline both sides at once) and sipping your favorite drink by the fire with a movie on and loved ones by your side. Miranda was especially helpful and kind to us!
We had Matthew help us. He was super helpful and gave us time to talk and look things over by ourselves and gave us great advice which was a huge plus. We got a couch with ottoman and a reclining chair. Can't wait for it to be delivered
I recently made a purchase at Ashley. Lonnie was my sales person. He was very patient and informative, from the moment I walked in the store he was very attentive and listened carefully to what to my purchasing needs were. Thank you Lonnie.
Two sofas were ordered Sunday November 25th with a contracted date to deliver within 30 days. The actual delivery date was Saturday December 29th. There was not any communication to say it would be delayed or anything from the time the order was placed. I also paid additional for the delivery fee. Tristan called on Dec. 27th at 8:49am to schedule delivery. Decmber 28th at 2:14pm the warehouse called to say delivery would be dec. 29th from 3:45 to 6:45. Saturday Dec. 29th at 3:12 pm the delivery drivers called to say they were about 30 minutes out. Upon arrival, 2 couches were delivered. There were stains on the end piece as well as the chaise lounge. I have three pictures taken of the stains that are timestamped on the delivery date. I also have a screenshot of the call log on my phone with Ashley furniture when they were delivered showing that there were 3 separate phone calls that were placed to the Ashley store while the delivery guys were still at my home. There were 3 voicemails that were left on all 3 extensions as no one answered. Tristan was the only one who called me back on Monday morning from the warehouse. The Ashley store is still yet to return any calls. He told me I would have to get back in touch with the Ashley store. I told him that I had been trying and no one would return my calls except for him. He said that was not the first time he has heard that and gave me another number to try. I had my husband take over and he called several times and left several messages. He finally got a hold of someone on January 5th. They saw we had paid for the extended warranty and then transferred him to the furniture protection plan warranty company. (If you don't use your warranty, then you get the money back when you get a new sofa) Ashley was trying to force us to use it to not be able to get our money back in the future. Let alone if it had to be replaced, with the warranty, you only have 1 time replacement, so I would not be allowed to have that done in the future. Isn't that why I bought the warranty in the first place? The Ashley Furniture store is still yet to call back. I got a hold of Deedra at their warehouse on Jan. 10th at 4:19pm and she was not much help at all. She said there were not any supervisors available to speak with, send to voicemail, or anything. She said that Porsha would call me back the following morning (January 11th), which she never did or anyone else from the warehouse or the ashley store. The issues have still not been addressed and this matter has now been filed with the Better Business Bureau. Hopefully they can help. Great price, but not worth the headache.
Ordered a bed and frame and that was fine. 2 weeks later I'm still waiting on delivery.

Worst place i ever bought furniture from. Took two months to get a sofa and a couch. Will never do business with that store again.

He went out of his way to provide excellent customer service , great place to buy your home furniture! We will be back to purchase more furniture for our home in the future!
Matthew Bush was exceptional. Matthew is a real asset to Ashley Furniture. He assisted me before, during and after the sale, and I always felt in control while Matthew showed me my options. Exceptional service and attention was paid to us by Lonnie. He was attentive to our needs and made several suggestions allowing us to make the best choice for our home. He took care of us from beginning to end including helping us load a small item in our car. Ashley Home Store will be our first consideration for future furniture needs!
I recently purchased a bedroom set from here and worked with Lonnie. He was the best I’ve worked with in sales! Never pushy but informative and went beyond expectation with customer service. I would recommend if you could, to work with him for all of your furniture needs!
Went in late last night not knowing they closed at nine. We started talking with Lonnie and He showed us around the store not pressing us to buy or rushing us. We ended up buying an adjustable bed frame. Lonnie was awesome, will be going back to see him the next time we need furniture.

After doing research on the website and finding the sectional we liked, I went into the store to actually sit/lay on it. I was greeted warmly by Lonnie, my sales associate, and taken to the model I was interested in. There was no pressure and the feeling of being stalked like other stores, this played a key role in my decision to buy here. As with most couples making a large purchase, she had to see and test the piece as well, which required another trip since I was by myself that day. Lonnie said no problem, gave me a card, and wrote down the agreed upon price on the piece, delivery, and product protection. We returned today to a busy store and waited for Lonnie to finish the sale he was in the middle of, no more than five or ten minutes. The deal was done and we were out the door in under thirty minutes. I recommend this store and definitely Lonnie if he is working, when you are looking to make a purchase. Do you homework on their webpage and they’ll match that price if it is lower, it was $200 in my case.
We bought a whole new downstairs set (sofa, coffee table, side table, dining room table with 6 chairs) from Lonnie and he was the most helpful employee I’ve ever dealt with from Ashley Home Furniture. As soon as we walked in the door he helped us with what we were looking for and stayed with us the whole 1-2 hours we were there making sure we found exactly what we were looking for. He helped us build our dream living/dining room for our brand new house and we couldn’t be more excited! Thanks Lonnie!
