They give you a delivery date when you’re in their store and have paid thousands of dollars, yet you don’t get ALL items. For an example- we won’t be getting our couch, bed-frame, kitchen table and chairs or headboard. Couch was damaged, so no couch. Keep in mind we have just purchased this house and have nothing to sleep on, or sit on. Customer service tells you different things w each call. Even escalating your issues, you get different responses. We would have gone elsewhere had we been told this in the store, the date we made this huge purchase. SHOP ELSEWHERE!! I text the number below 4 days ago and have yet to hear back from anyone. Today 7/24/2024 they delivered a night stand without the legs. A dresser without the mirror. SHOP ELSEWHERE!! This is a joke and we spent thousands !!! 😡
We recently visited Ashley Furniture after having not been furniture shopping in decades. Christine helped us to find exactly what we needed, was able to exert patience with our crazy kids in tow and even helped us find a some furniture beyond what we were looking for. It turned out to be a wonderful experience and we will definitely be returning for future needs.

Me and my husband went Ashley’s furniture store to search for a dining room set. The salesman was very nice to us as we walked through the door. Very nice and friendly people. Patrick is his name that waited on us when we arrived at the store. He directed us towards the dining area and he was checking on us as we were walking around. Very nice attitude and friendly.
I worked with a salesman named Rob. I am furnishing a whole house. As I described what I was looking for, he led me to various sections of the store, offered different options, and convinced me he was taking what I needed very seriously. When I needed time to think, he left me alone, so no hard sell, it was a very pleasant experience. I am excited about my initial purchases and plan to return to Ashley when I am ready to furnish other rooms.
We were met by Rob as we entered the store. He was very cordial and asked if he could help us find anything. We were just discussing getting a new bedroom set, and he pointed out that more traditional items were on the left-hand side of the store and more modern items on the right but that they were interspersed throughout the store. Thankfully, the store had a wheelchair which my husband used to push me around in because I don't walk very well. Rob came by to check on us a couple of times and when we had made our decision, he figured out the price and then refigured when we changed a couple of things and we were very happy with the entire service. We paid for our order and delivery date set. Can't wait for the new furniture to get here. Thanks Rob for all of your help.

A few weeks back on a Saturday, I walked into Ashley looking for new living room furniture. I was met with a warm polite smile by Mr. Ray Mack. I told him what I was looking for and he showed me several pieces. When we found the right one, he was patient with me while I FaceTime my kids to get their opinions. He just patiently let us discuss without be impatient. We decided on the pieces we liked. He never at any time try to sell me anything we didn’t like. We were very professional and kind. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by Melanie P who was extremely nice and understanding. While shopping at another store for mattresses we had became overwhelmed with all the info but she made it so easy. Today I was on the hunt for a very specific type of sofa. Kay greeted me immediately and totally understood my wishlist. Placed an order first week of march for new king bed with night stands. Set the order to ASAP, and told us that it would be a max of 4 weeks. Now they are saying “some time in June.” For what we spent we could have had a variety of options at many different providers but they keep trying to get us to hang around. Couple of weeks ago they said it would be a couple weeks. Just manipulating people to try and screw people out of money. Over it, should’ve went anywhere else and I’m sure we would’ve had a bed by now.

Gave us a very short delivery time which was very surprising we was expecting 4 to 6 weeks, but it will be here in less then a week. She answered all of our questions quick. She told us something that past sales people at ashley furniture didn't tell us which made us miss out on a refund but she also helped us with that as well.

We bought the dinning table from ashley with the extended warranty. I wouldn't recommend buying from ashley furniture or their extended warranty bcz when you actually need it they will left you hanging out to dry and the quality of the furniture is wrose the ikea. They whole dinning table is felling a part and you will be out of thousands of dollars.

Today my husband and I went on the hunt for a kitchen table. I was actually skeptical about going to Ashley’s Furniture because I thought they were really pricey, but we went and I’m glad we did. Upon walking in we were met by Patrick R. He asked us about our day and what brought us in. He told us what sections we needed to look in and how to read the tags. Derrick was awesome help, from the second I entered the store Derrick was friendly and professional. He asked what I was looking g for and showed me all options that would work best for me, he made sure our order was able to be picked up the same day and checked on me during the pick up process and checked to make sure all the furniture was in good condition when I brought it home. I can't recommend Derrick enough, I highly suggest seeing him if you're going to purchase any thing at this store.

5 star service and selection. I searched many furniture stores in the area and no one had modern furniture unless it was uncomfortable and cheap looking. My salesman Daniel worked with me in the store, even rearranging the couches set up to see what would work in my space. After picking 5 couches I liked. I called him and he measured all of them for me to make my final decision. They will remain on the top of my list for future purchases.

My husband and I have been customers at this location for the past 2 years. We were lucky to get with Daniel Sessoms on our first visit. We were in the process of building a new house and would be buying furniture for the first time in several years. Daniel was great to work with then and has continued to be our "go to" person ever since. He listened to our preferences and needs and was able to recommend furniture that we have loved. Our first purchases were made during the big shortage and shipping delays in 2022 and, even though we had ordered 6 months before we were scheduled to move, one of our biggest needs...a new mattress...was still not in stock when we were ready to move. Daniel stayed on top of the shipment and even went to get one for us in order to have it on our first night in our new home. Also, any issues we have had with any item, Daniel has been supportive and helpful in solving the problem. He is the main reason we continue to be Ashley customers first when looking for any furniture needs.

I’ve shopped at Ashley for years. I’ve never had an issue til today. Very unhappy. I made a purchase a bed yesterday and was told I could pick up today at the warehouse. We needed this today due to arrival of our mattress from Sleep Number. The warehouse couldn’t locate the order. Finally did. Stated Accounting hadn’t released the transaction from the payment. Spoke with the store manager and she said it will be Monday before they will release. Store manager also said the associate that helped us will call us today to discuss. I believe it should still fall on the manager to make it right. Not the associate. This has caused us time and money. No customer service, no eagerness and no resolution!!

I needed a new bed and a sleeper sofa. After trying two different local furniture stores and being told that full size beds are hard to find (my bedroom is small) I stopped by Ashley Home Furnishings and was delighted to meet Christine who spent all the time I needed to show me their selections. After finding what I wanted and applying available discounts I left the store with a new bed and beautiful sleeper sofa that will be delivered and assembled within three weeks.. I came in today after 2 long years of saving for furniture. My first ever bed I have purchased myself. I was greeted by Melanie very welcoming and not over bearing at all! I had a horrible experience at conns home plus furniture so I was having trouble trusting the asssociate’s but Melanie knew what she was doing. She took her time to explain everything to me and show me every possible option that suited me best and what I loved! I absolutely would come here to purchase another piece of furniture especially with Melanie .it was the most wonderful experience shopping for my knee beautiful bedroom set super happy and excited !

Our experience was beyond amazing. Super easy and seamless. Went in to “just look” for a sectional and left buying one. Special thanks to Kay for all her help and sweetness.
This was overall one of the worst, most stressful experiences ever. My wife and I were looking for a new mattress and bedframe and found one we liked online. We wanted to take advantage of the 60 mo. financing, however it indicated that to do so you had to purchase in store. We went to the store and started to make our purchase. We sat down to look at all the numbers that's when the fun started. Apparently "prices may vary in store" if you are taking advantage of the promotional financing and you "may have to place a down payment". Even though that same language is listed on the website, it's not very easy to find (though our sales rep of course knew exactly where to find it). We reluctantly worked through those issues (down payment waived, but still wouldnt budge on the price which was about 600. more), because we liked the bed frame etc. The saving grace at this point was our sales rep Christine. As we scheduled delivery etc and finished up she did explain that if there were any issues from this point forward that her ability to do anything was limited and we should utilize customer service. Fast forward to the day of delivery. Our window for delivery started out as 12-3 pm, which was perfect. It kept getting pushed later and later until the delivery didnt occur until almost 6pm. They brought in the mattress, boxspring and other small items, but then the driver discovered he only had a portion of the bed frame and not the headboard. Instead of leaving the footboard and dealing with the headboard alone, he took that back with him. He explained that customer service would reach out by 7pm the NEXT day to reschedule delivery. I tried to be proactive and reach out that evening but they wouldn't discuss the issue- despite the fact that their error had left us with no place to sleep (except a mattress that is 6 inches off the floor) as we had gotten rid of our old bed so we had room for the new furniture. I reach out the next morning and finally get escalated to a manager. The phone rep couldn't tell me ANYTHING, and honestly didn't really seem interested in being on the phone with me either. The manager I spoke with did say all the right things, explaining the process, but there was no way I was getting delivery before Saturday (2 more days at this point). I expressed why this was unacceptable -I had no reasonable place to sleep. She told me she would call me back that day. I took her at her word. She finally called me back a little before 5 explaining that the footboard had been damaged while being transported back and at this point that was all she knew- they would have to source the items from another warehouse. Unfortunately at that time she couldn't tell me how long THAT would take but she would call me back that evening when she found out. That call never came. I tried the next day to reach out and no one could tell me ANYTHING, and that manger never called back (despite a message allegedly being left for her). At that point my wife and I went and purchased another bedframe from another store (and honestly got a much better deal on a nicer one). We called to cancel the remainder of the order and request a refund of the *500* delivery and assembly charge (that we were NOT informed of) and bedframe. We were told they would forward it to the store as they would have to be the ones to cancel it. Christine had apparently been off the two days this was happening as cs had tried to reach out to her a few times. I finally got a call at 6.30 pm (basically the end of her shift after working all day) Saturday from her apologizing for the problems and stating she would be cancelling the remainder of the order. She didn't remove the delivery and assembly fee or even discount it even though we only got 1/2 of our delivery and they didnt even bother to assemble anything. We've called the store a couple times to resolve but mysteriously can't get her, and that $500 fee is still there so I guess we're stuck with it. TLDR - bait and switch, poor operations and horrendous curstomer service and hidden charges

I bought my furniture over 1yr ago. A few months after having them, mechanisms broke and the stitching was coming apart. It took them over 1yr to fix, so they ended up replacing. The same issues are happening to the new one and now my warranty is expired. They offered me a $200 compensation for over $3k worth of furniture. I do no recommend.

Worst shopping experience ever. The store opened a credit card up without my approval. Trying to address the situation was impossible. When I call the store it is out of there hands, when I call "wecare" it's needs to be handled by the store. My original purchase date was 12/17/23. I wanted my furniture delivered to my new address. I only received 3 pieces. Everything else was damaged.

We purchased a sectional sofa this weekend at this store. Daniel Sessoms was our salesperson. He was very extremely knowledgeable about the products that Ashley carries (even products that were not available in store) and helpful with the entire process. He was available while we shopped, but he also gave my husband and me space so we could think it through without pressure. After we made our decision, the purchase process was very easy and quick. We can’t wait for our new sectional to be delivered!

Was told we could pick up our mattress at the distribution center. Showed up and was told that the forklift driver was on lunch. Waited over an hour and was told he wasn’t coming back. The gentleman that told us he wasn’t coming back finally put on a harness to work the forklift. Then people that have been waiting over an hour were told to more our vehicles because there were customers that showed up and left and came back after most of us have been here waiting stayed. Theses people who left and came back were going to get their stuff first because they were here first which isn’t the case they left and came back.

I went to Ashley on impulse one Saturday afternoon a couple of weeks ago. I had been looking online for a recliner that was more on the sleek side. Naturally I went straight to the recliners and saw the usual overstuffed, clunky recliners. Keith, who I remember from a previous visit, came over to assist me. I told him what I was looking for and what I had seen online. I had no intention of buying anything that day. I really was just looking! Keith was so helpful and shared with me the “way of recliners.” I focused on one recliner that looked similar to one that had caught my attention online. My daughter( who is Very small) reclined in it and my son in law tried it too. No pressure from Keith, he just provided me time and space to look around and think. I really appreciated that! He even showed a show that was in “the outlet.” It was navy, it was comfy but being sold “as is.” It was broken and even if it was significantly reduced, did not push it at all. He recommended that I should not consider it. I ended up deciding to get the recliner we had tried but a different color. The whole time was very pleasant and will shop at Ashley again if I’m in the market for a piece of furniture. I appreciated Keith’s patience and knowledge. Our salesperson was ok. She spoke very low it was sometimes hard to understand her. But she knew her products. We purchased an adjustable bed & mattress. We enjoy our mattress very comfortable. But the delivery people were horrible. They didn’t want to take our old mattress & box springs we had arranged with the salesperson, they called the office to make sure we weren’t lying to them. Scratched up our walls & their dirty hands prints were all over the walls.They set the bed up, tested it & never explained the remote to us. I asked where the booklet & warranty paperwork was, he said oh no one keeps it, he looks at it & threw it out. I said I want the booklet, he just gave me a look and took it out of the box he threw it in. I think Ashley could hire better delivery guys after all we paid $300. For this delivery. Not a good experience with the delivery guys.
It was a great experience. Our sales guy was very pleasant, efficient, and helpful but yet we weren’t smothered with attention giving us time to look around and find the needed pieces for our new home.

$3000 order scheduled for delivery...had someone at my house to receive. Day before delivery they cancel, have no idea when they can deliver, when they finally decide they can deliver (almost two weeks later), it is at their convenience, not mine, and expect me to take a day off work instead of delivering when I would actually be home...never shop here
Way too expensive for everything
ONE star is one too many for this place in my opinion. I ordered a bed frame on the 25th of August, I was initially told that it could take up to two weeks to process, okay cool. Today is October 11th I called to check the status of the order and was told that their systems are down and I should call back Friday 😂😂😂 this place is literally a joke. Not to mention when I asked about being refunded I was told that I would have to pay a 10% restock fee which is BULL. Why would I pay 10% of something that they didn’t even have in their warehouse. Didn’t offer me a discount on another potential purchase if anything. IF YOU DONT MIND WAITING AND GETTING TOYED WITH THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU !!!!

Let me start out by saying my buying experience here on Labor Day with Patrick was absolutely fantastic! He took the time to show me different sectional couch options and walk me through the pros and cons of each. I was looking at one couch, and he let me know it was good nothing wrong with it, but there was one that was just a little bit more that would hold up better overtime. He gave me time to look at each and while he was away I looked up reviews everywhere, and sure enough, he was right. The reviews said the couch I was looking at first people had problems. The other one had glowing reviews on multiple sites, so I bought it! After I got home I realized that there was an online site that was offering a lower price on it, so I decided to come back to the store and show him. Let me tell you I was prepared for a fight, and I was met with complete kindness and understanding. Patrick just said OK Let me see it and get this handled for you. He wrote everything up and then passed it off to a wonderful lady named Stephanie who took care of everything for me. No hassle, the whole process took less than 15 minutes. I will be back for any of my future furniture needs because of the way they do business here. I do not regret shopping here at all. Sometimes, sales people are shady but not here. I visited another Ashley Furniture store in Greenville and did not feel or receive the same level of customer service!!

I have been wanting to buy 2 chairs from this Ashley's and finally decided to buy them. I saw them online but wanted to see them in person and choose a color that I wanted. When I walked Patrick approached me and I told him what i wanted to see by name and he told them they didn't carry those chair in store. So I decided to walk around and I ended up finding 2 of them around the show room. I asked him multiply times to show me the color of fabric I can order them in, he showed me a few different sofas fabric colors that the chair can come in. I settled for a neutral tan sofa with no pattern. I was so excited when he said I can pick them up that Saturday at the warehouse. He told me I had 48 hours after to inspect them if something was wrong. So we picked them up that Saturday and within 30min of getting them home and unpacked I noticed they were the wrong color. These were more gray/blue with a pattern chairs. I called and they told me Patrick will be in touch with me, and he never called. I spent money on his mistake! He didn't even know that certain chair was carried in the store. Should have asked to someone else or just walked out. I paid over 1k on 2 chairs that I was told would come in a different color. Amd to top that off one of the chairs came in damaged. I am very disappointed in their service.

My husband we came here the other day to find a sectional. When we walked in, there was absolutely no other customers..and about at least 5 workers. We were never greeted or asked what we could be helped with. All the workers were having conversations with each other and we were never acknowledged. There was a worker who even walked behind us to get to her computer and still didn’t say anything. When we found a sectional we were interested in, we went up to 2 workers who were having a conversation and said we were interested in a sectional and was wondering if someone could help us…..they both literally just stared at us and then stared at each other. After we finally had someone help us, we were over it and just left.

Did a great deal of research on a new sofa. Visited a number of stores in the Spartanburg, SC area to search for the right sofa. Visited the Ashley store in Spartanburg. Had the pleasure of talking to Derek Williams (our sales representative). He was extremely helpful, very very knowledgeable, and so very professional. He showed us a number of recliner sofas. Provided answers to all our questions. We liked a Ashley sofa that was listed for $699. I completed additional research, and found on the corporate page, that sofa was on sale for $499. I called Derek and talked to him and Mason. The indicated that they could meet the listed lesser price on the sofa. Purchased the sofa the next day (even though the prices change on the website on Tuesdays (price went back up to $699.)). They honored the lower price. That was great to save over $200. Both Derek and Mason were extremely helpful and provided exceptional service in every aspect of our purchase. Great Job both of you, a great example of the highest levels of customer service. Appreciate all your help. Thanks again Derek Williams!

Do not purchase a mattress in this store. What is on the floor is not indicative of what you were receiving your house. The delivery drivers were terrible. They pretty much force you to sign their acceptance of what you receive and just walk out the door and leave your door open after they leave. The delivery team did this two times. Very rude. We purchased a mattress, they delivered the wrong mattress. I called Ashley Furniture and they deliver the right mattress. We lay on the mattress and thought, this is not what this felt like in the store. I go back and talk to my sales guy. He’s very encouraging and says he can get it done and he would give me a call back the next day. I haven’t heard from him in four days so I figured I’d go into the store. He looked like he saw a ghost. Tells me that he cannot exchange the mattress. I called Ashley corporate and they say that my type of mattress does not offer a sleep guarantee therefore I’m out $1200. Sorry have a great day and thank you for choosing Ashley Furniture. The only thing they offered was a credit of $250 which was what I was owed because of the delivery fiascos we experienced. I will never purchased another thing at Ashley Furniture. Our whole house, including our old mattress was from Ashley Furniture. We have been buying from them for the last 20 years. Customer loyalty means nothing to them. They refused to exchange the mattress, even though we’re probably going to have to go to a chiropractor every week until we get our money out of the mattress. Absolutely horrible customer service, and their policies and guidelines on exchanges are not customer friendly at all. I will go to my grave, telliing everybody I can, never to purchase another thing from Ashley Furniture.
This was our first time @ this location for Ashley Home Store. Daniel greeted us and explained some things about the furniture store and what was to be offered. Daniel went out of his way to work with us and and go over pricing and very informative about the furniture, delivery and the protection plan on the furniture. We would definitely do business again with Daniel. This was a very pleasant experience!!!

Quick and easy purchase and delivery. I found exactly what I was looking for online, went to the store, met sales person at the door who led us to the collection. Seeing it in person confirmed it’s perfect, so we purchased and arranged for delivery which was just a few days. We were in and out of the store in less than 20 minutes and my furniture came right on time and looks fabulous!
Mr. Wilson was a pleasure to work with and met my financial needs. He was very flexible and found the right furniture for me.

I think what really helped with our purchase at the end of the day was how she didn’t put any pressure on my boyfriend and I. We purchased a bed frame and mattress set. We specifically asked our salesperson if the old mattress could be hauled away. She told us it was a 1:1 delivery and haul away and would be no problem. $500 for delivery of a single bed and matress set. When the delivery driver came to set up the new bed, he said he was told they didn't have anything on the order to remove the old mattress so they would not. Called Ashley customer service and they told me if the delivery driver wouldn't take the old mattress away there was nothing they could do as it was a "free service." Delivery is set up through a third party so Ashley has no control over what happens when your purchases get to your house. We have purchased most of our furniture through them but will definitely reconsider next time.
My experience with Ray today was Super great. I was actually window shopping but My experience with Ray makes me want to buy everything merchandise in the store. Plz come on over he is super terrific.

Friday was our second time purchasing from Ashley in Spartanburg. We were greeted at the door by Ray and he was helpful through the whole process. Allowed us to browse at our leisure instead of being pushy and found the information on an item we were interested in online. It’s hard to find find furniture stores that don’t have salesmen shadow you all around the store. Ray was professional and friendly and we were happy with our experience.

Today we got a bedroom set and a sectional for the living room. Kay G. helped us and was very helpful. Made the entire experience pleasurable and helped compare pricing.
Me and my wife purchased a couch and chair that totaled near 5000 dollars. The delivery was late according to when they said it would be here by almost 5 months, we didn't complain but had to call about 20 times before they would finally agree to deliver. we also purchased an extended no questions asked warranty for 500. The charger on the armchair that was 1000 never did work. And we have now been trying to get them to fix a popped seam in the couch that is showing stuffing and growing, (which we can't sit on because of the tear) under either the factory warranty or the extended warranty (which should be good for another year) for 4 months and the answer is just no. They refuse to repair it saying that the defect occurred too many days ago even though we were still under warranty. They of course know when the defect showed up because of an email that they refused to answer. This company is worthless and they are crooks and will gladly lie to you, take your money, not deliver goods for months, and scam you on so called extended warranty AND factory warranty. Update: they do respond well to the bbb and have now made it right, took less than a week.

Best purchasing experience I've ever had. I am from NJ and had just purchased a new house in South Carolina. I needed multiple rooms furnished and had an idea of what I was looking for. I met a wonderful salesperson named Olu in the Spartanburg store. I handed him the list I had made. He brought me to the actual items so I could make sure it's what I wanted. He was patient and very professional. I would give him 10 stars of I could. If your in that area, grab him as your salesperson, he will not disappoint.

*****UPDATE***** FINALLY- received replacement table (just like the one we had purchased). Got to keep both. Donating old one (sans- one chair)Bought a table and dining chairs 2 years and 5 months ago. We also bought and extended warranty for 5 years. We were told that if ANYTHING happened to it or got stained or broken it would be replaced. Five days ago, my 6' 185 lb husband sat down in the chair. The leg broke in two. We went through the warranty company. They said they would do nothing. Ashley furniture said they couldn't do anything either. So we have broken chair and a useless $200.00 warranty. I can recommend you not buy anything from Ashley furniture. Also, do not buy the warranty for sure. ALL you will have is a 1 year manufacturer's warranty.

My husband and I stopped in the Spartanburg store to inquire about bar stools for our kitchen (30 in). Kay Griese greeted us at the door. Very few available were available but she walked us through the options, listening to all our comments, including my husbands' jokes. Bar stools didn't work out for us, but I indicated we were also just thinking about a small couch or loveseat. Kay was very accommodating, walking us to the few options fitting our measurements, helping to measure each and explaining the features of each. She explained the current discount, the choices for pickup, delivery and warranty. Kay was not pushy in the least, making for a pleasant, informative shopping experience. We ended up purchasing a love seat and ottoman without being totally clear on our measurements. Kay clearly explained our 3 day window of time to confirm the sale. Altogether, a positive experience exploring what was available. I recommend working with Kay!

I gave this place 5 stars because David the sales manager went above and beyond for me. I walked into this store with other items in mind to purchase. But when David started showing me around, I literally came out of there with a living room suite, kitchen table, coffee table and bar stools. He was very patient with me and he helped me match those items. I’m excited about my furniture and I cannot wait for it to be delivered!!!

Buyers beware! The rep in the store was great but better really check your furniture before delivery people leave. My sofa was delivered with no legs which I noticed right away & reported it. But didn’t notice my recliner was uneven& a nail was sticking out in the back & the handle on the side was also messed up. I reported that also within the first hour. But since I didn’t say anything to the delivery people it was now turned over to the repair team. It was no longer an Ashley Furniture problem. I was then told no one serviced my area which I’m about 20 minutes away from the store & I would be turned over to a third party. I can only be home in the afternoon but they told me they didn’t have afternoon appointments in my area so now I’m told some one else will have to come. They sent a box with the new parts & it’s basically taking a new recliner & refurbishing it to be a new refurbished recliner. At this point I asked if I could have someone come get it & nope it’s mine since I did not decline it at delivery. Now I month & 1/2 later I have an appointment that I’m still gonna have to take off work early for to get my new recliner refurbished & legs put on my sofa. So I will never buy from them again.
****EDIT to this - Ashley was awesome when they were selling me a piece of furniture. But when something didn't go right with the delivery (they didn't set it up properly - didn't install the legs on my server and left me with no hardware to do it myself), my salesperson ghosted me and told me basically that it was my problem. I paid $150 extra for delivery and setup, and was told by the local Spartanburg Ashley store that "they are just salespeople" and that they can't help me figure out how to get the hardware sent to me - that was my responsibility. I spent hours on the phone with an out of town call center and still no help. BEWARE if you need help - don't purchase here! I try to support local instead of buying online, but I have gotten better customer service with online companies than this. I will not be shopping here again. Original post when I purchased: Kay Griese is awesome! She isn't pushy at all, but she was very helpful to me and my mom when shopping at the store this past weekend. She helped my mom even though she just purchased an inexpensive clearance item, and she helped me make a good decision about a kitchen item. They have good quality furniture here and it's a pleasant experience - especially to have someone knowledgeable about what you are looking for. Thank you Kay!

Store associates force furniture protection policy on you and it is worthless. Made a claim to have brand new furniture repaired that was damaged upon arrival. The appointment was scheduled a month out and the day of the appointment No call or No arrival by a technician and now Ashley wants to schedule another appointment another month out.

I went into Ashley furniture in Spartanburg South Carolina. I needed help with finding a great mattress as ours was worn. The manager, David Boyd, met me at the door and asked if he could help. I said sure I needed to look at Tempur-pedic mattresses. He pointed out the different things that each level of mattress does and helped me to choose the right one. I am so excited about this one! And I love Tempur-pedic.

To give 5 NEGATIVE STARS would be generous for this experience that I had with Ashley Furniture in Spartanburg, SC. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with any furniture company. After two delivery attempts, I have decided to cancel and get a full refund. We walked into the Ashley Furniture store location in Spartanburg, SC and were welcomed by Raymond, our sales rep with the warm southern hospitality that we have heard so much about. Raymond was very friendly, very patient and very professional. I looked around, saw and chose the furniture that I loved, paid for it and awaited delivery. Delivery of our furniture was suppose to take place before the holidays. In anticipation of delivery I was thinking of purchasing another piece that would absolutely go well in another room in my home. If all went well I would have easily spent well over $15,000 to get that certain look and style for my home. Unfortunately, I am very UNHAPPY and EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED. I had to entertain guest without any furniture for them to sit on. This Service was unacceptable and disheartening: · 1st attempt of delivery – Furniture arrived damaged and dirty (Furniture order was white) The guys on the delivery truck apologized as I refused the order and sent it back. · 2nd attempt of delivery – I thought because I was so inconvenienced with the first delivery I would definitely get the WHITE GLOVE NO HASSLE DELIVERY as advertised on the company website as well as in commercials, but the 2nd delivery attempt was worse than the first. WHITE GLOVE means there is a certain elevated level of care and attention to detail that is required and provided from the company. The white furniture was damaged, dirty and the plastic was ripped off. It wasn’t wrapped properly. The guys on the truck apologized again as I refused and sent it back. I called and tried to speak to managers and kept getting redirected to customer service representatives. When I finally spoke to a manager she had to confirm my order and then told me that I need to speak to another dept. in the actual store location. There was no urgency to make things right or resolve the issue. I recommend NOT doing business with them at all.

We walked in and were immediately greeted by a salesperson in a nice manner, they did not bother us while we were browsing but did occasionally find us to check in if we needed assistance and it was consistently the same person. Not being mobbed by multiple workers trying to make a sale definitely eased my anxiety. David Boyd assisted us in our purchase and was amazing in making sure we understood the ins and outs of their furniture warranty program and policies. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. Edited to add in, if you cannot pick the item up yourself and live in a new neighborhood they can’t find your house and skip over your delivery and then they can’t deliver for nearly another week after that. My kids are without a bed. I waited from 3pm-8pm for my delivery on the 8th the driver called for directions and said it was 11 minutes out. 2 hours pass by and i get no call and nobody showed up for my delivery, only to call them back and their dispatch told them to move on to the delivery after me and that my delivery would be rescheduled, we’ll it’s not rescheduled for next day, now they’re now telling me that the majority of my order will be delivered on the 16th after being previously told that it was rescheduled to the 13th only to find out that only 2 pieces of my order will be delivered on the 13th even after we were told that all of our order was available for delivery. So if you can’t pick it up from them yourself, and you can’t put it together yourself and you don’t want to deal with being pushed around as far as delivery is concerned, don’t shop here.

I’m only giving a 1 because I can’t do a 0. I came in here with my 8 month PREGNANT wife looking for an electric recliner that can assist her in getting up because she has been diagnosed with pelvic girdle pain during this pregnancy. Long story short they had a tag on the chair we wanted for almost $1800 retail. They decided to give me their “best price” for Black Friday sale price of $1650. Went online sitting right in front of him. Found the same chair on the website for 1129 on sale for $999 and acted like they just found it when I showed them. They play games and inflate their prices in this store. Go look in person but avoid buying in store AT ALL COSTS. Saved myself $700 online instead of trying to support a sales person in store because of their dishonesty. They even asked me earlier if I had been shopping online before showing me prices which just proves this place to be a joke.
We bought a bed frame and headboard. It was delivered just a few days ago. We paid a an expensive delivery fee for them to come and assemble the bed. They did not put the bed together completely, screw were falling out the bed came apart as we moved it a few inches. Thank God my dogs did not put the screws in their mouth. They made a complete mess when they were assembling the bed and did not even attempt to clean up after themselves. On top of it being a terrible delivery and set up experience, we did not like how the bed looked in our room. We have called and spoken to many reps and unless they find the bed to be unsafe when they come back (who knows when that will be) then we can not return the bed.

Fair disclosure we didn't buy anything here. The staff were kind and friendly and let us walk the show room without being pushy or following us around. But the prices of the furniture were about 2-3x what they should be for the quality. Lots of showroom pieces were already wobbly and rickety. We've been to probably 12 furniture store in 2 months. From cheaper to higher end and this store stuckout for how out of wack the prices were for the quality they were selling.

I'm sure their furniture is fine. But I have to say, 2 employees were extremely rude to another employee- like high school level. It was embarrassing to watch as I felt bad for the employee who did nothing to be treated the way he was. 2 other employees witnessed this as well, and said nothing. It's seems like an environment I wouldn't want to work in, and definitely won't be supporting.

Only rating one due to zero is not available. Absolute worst company that I have ever dealt with. Customer service does not exist. Waited a week to receive the furniture. Did not arrive on the date promised no phone call nor text, was told it would arrive 3 days later. Nope! Now being told there was a glitch in their system and delivery will now be delivered another 3 days. All the while we are prepared for the furniture gave ours away the night before we were to receive ours. Now, with company coming no place to sit. We offered to pick the furniture up, was told this is not allowed. I am absolutely disgusted with this company

We purchased a floor model sectional from Rob. When we were starting to load it in our truck he stopped us and said their "system ate the payment" and we needed to let him run the card again. We logged onto our bank card first to check and the charge was there pending. He said he had to run it again before he could give us the furniture regardless. We weren't okay with that and made it very clear but he wouldn't take no for an answer and said that his manager wouldn't be helpful if we tried to get them involvled so to be able to get the sectional we had to let him run it again. Both charges did end up posting to our account and we had to spend hours on the phone to try to get it taken care of. After telling the manager Tori that I wasn't okay with her telling me I'd have to wait a few days for an answer from corporate about whether or not they could refund it she was extremely rude snapping "come on get real" at my expectation that they should be able to issue us a refund immediately. I can't believe this place handles themselves so unprofessionally. Buy elsewhere! Tori claimed it was the first time she'd seen anything like this but another sales person at the store that I spoke with said yeah sometimes our system does this and sometimes the payment goes through and sometimes it doesn't...so if you don't want to run the risk of paying for furniture twice and jumping through hoops to get your money back shop elsewhere. This isn't like having your card swipped twice for a pizza. These are huge purchases that can make someone overdraft if charged twice. And to the store representative responding to these reviews please do not tell me to contact the text line number because I did that already and never heard back from anyone.

Ordered furniture. It was supposed to be delivered in November. By April we still had not received anything. We cancelled the order and went with another company. Was told that there would not be any fees charged. They charged a 10% fee anyway and didn’t even tell us. Terrible company and customer service

I waited 6 months to recieve my dinning room furniture, the day of delivery I was told it wouldn't be delivered because I had to resign my finance agreement, because it expires every 6months. The finance agreement expired before I receive my furnature when you don't make a payment until your furnature is delivered. Now I have to wait 3 more weeks to receive my furniture.This is ridiculous! 0 stars

I went in not knowing exactly what I wanted but I had an idea. The floor rep Ray greeted us when we came in, and directed us to a good starting area. I found The One almost right away. Ray got all the paperwork ready and got us all set up quickly. He was friendly and very helpful and not pushy AT ALL. He explained all the arrangements simply. It was absolutely a pleasure to deal with him. All the store associates were nice as well. As far as selection goes, it's hard to beat this place.
Tory, the manager, is very rude. She never greeted me even after I greeted her. As I stood at the counter she didn’t bother to lift her head from her computer screen to talk to me. I did find other assistance with the sales team. They were awesome.
I was very please with this store . The office Manager Melanie was very helpful and professional and knew her store and furniture very well and she and Polo was very helpful with making our decision on which sectional sofa to buy , we will definitely shop here again . We also love the look and feel of the store it was staged well and gave me many ideas for furniture for other rooms in my home.There was no pressure from either of them and the experience was very enjoyable.
Christine was such an amazing help along with her sweet personality! She was so good to my nephews who came along for the ride and really pointed us on the right direction for what we needed. She answered all our questions readily and just was an overall pleasant experience.

I needed a dining set. I went in and I assumed everything was too expensive. To my surprise, I found what I wanted for an awesome price less than I expected.
I went in to purchase a item that I was looking at for a little over a month. I spoke with a sales rep on Saturday and he (Rob) really worked everything out perfectly for me to come back and buy on a Monday. The online price of the item was different than the store price originally, so on the day of the purchase a new sales rep helped me. He assured me that the store matches online prices. She let me know that the manager would have to approve the markdowns which was fine. The manager’s attitude was horrible. She seemed very aggravated about me presenting her a card that had the pricing of the items written by Rob. She was also frustrated that online prices and delivery did not match in store stipulations. On at least 2 attempts she toggled with the price and it was still not reflective of the price it should have been. As she did this, she continued to rant about how online was a nightmare and the prices I was told originally. The associate found another team member and he fixed it. I love the product and I knew that I was going to buy it. I just did not appreciate her acting as if I control their online prices and was subject to hear her frustrations with the company. I told her numerous times that none of that had anything to do with me; I just wanted to purchase the item for the price I was told and leave. After I purchased with cash, she did find me in the store to apologize. I kindly spoke with her, but do not accept the apology. She needs to understand that it does not cost anything to be kind considering that customers are putting thousands of dollars into her store.

This is the norm I have come to expect when shopping here at my local Spartanburg store.
We were greeted immediately upon entry by Kay. She was friendly and very attentive. The General Manager Melanie also greeted us and was helpful throughout the process and proceeded to check in throughout our visit. They were very helpful in answering any and all of our questions. They were very patient while we made our decisions. Will be back for our next purchases.

Just ordered an awesome sleeping system from Sales Expert Mason Wilson, and also worked with Melanie Pratt, General Manager. We had purchased a great sofa from the Spartanburg store before they moved to their new location, where we first met Mason, and we didn’t need to go to any other store to purchase our new bed. With having ADHD, I found both Mason and Melanie both very patient, answered ALL my questions, and were very supportive. Financing was easy, also.

Ashley Home Store is completely inefficient and cares nothing for the customer i ordered a simple dresser 2 months ago. I set up delivery im told the order will come by 7pm it never comes I call Ashley who told me I had to call after 2pm to schedule another delivery. This was expressed to me after talking to 5 different customer service reps. When i finally reach rescheduling they tell me they can't reschedule a delivery until the item is inspected again and released by the wharehouse. I ask the rep when that will be she doesn't know just tells me to call again oh great more hours on the phone its not as if I work or anything. Then i get the chance to reschedule only to be told the only date available is another 2 weeks away and Surprise Surprise this is the second delivery day with no dresser. Ashley Furniture cares nothing for your time and is completely unwilling to stand by their own scheduled delivery days. They make no effort to be convenient or helpful and customer service is a long drawn out process that gets you nowhere. ive learned my lesson so you don't have too please don't order from them!

Bought dining set and was told our bench would be here by November. I've been given the run around ever since. It has now been 9 months and I don't have my bench that goes with the set. I've asked that they deliver the one on the showroom, but they refuse as they say they use it to sell more sets. How can you sell what you cannot get? That's fraud! I'll never buy another item from this place. And they could have easily delivered the showroom piece since it's been 9 months and they still don't know when I'll get my furniture. Seek furniture elsewhere! Update: noted that the owner said to text the number in response. I've done so for no reason. Same story. They refuse to do what is right. It is absolutely fraud to sale you goods that they cannot get and they know this. Stay away from this place! Buyer beware!!!!

I would not recommend this place at all. If you order your furniture from Ashley, they take your money and you may not ever receive it. You can never talk to anyone other than a sales person if you have an issue. I ordered furniture from them in November 2021 and they could not tell me in April 2022 where it was, when it was going to be in, and they refused me to talk to a manager. And they refused to give me a 100% refund. They also refused to give me the floor model. If you give them the money, and if they are taking everyone's money like they did mine, how are we to know in a year+/-, you don't get your furniture and they go out of business (and in this day it is very likely) and then you are stuck without your money back or your furniture. Basically they just stole your money.

Excellent service. The salesman, Mason, was available at any time but did not crowd us or try to sell us anything we did not want. My daughter and I roamed freely throughout the store and found exactly what I wanted. He took excellent care of us throughout the whole process. Thank you so much. Quality. We found very good quality furniture keeping in mind the pieces are used for physical testing by the customers but know when my furniture does arrive it will be brand new. Affordability. Everything seems to be more expensive these days, but we found our choices were well within our means and even less than I expected to pay. All in all a wonderful experience when one is looking to buy new furniture.
The whole experience was excellent! I would like to particularly mention Christine, who was handling my purchase, and say that she was one of the best sales representatives I've had at any store, not just Ashley's. She was professional, friendly, actually knowledgeable about the products (which is a big deal to me), and didn't waste my time trying to sell me extra items that I wasn't interested in. All in all, it was actually an enjoyable experience, which I don't normally say about shopping for furniture! So, I highly recommend going to the Spartanburg Ashley's store, and remember to ask for Christine!

Absolutely the most unprofessional, deceiving and disorganized furniture company we have ever dealt with. We purchased a couch that we paid cash for. We decided to finance a bedroom suit. Upon signing the paperwork for the bedroom suit, they tricked us into signing financing paperwork for a protection plan on the couch with us thinking it was for the bed. I’ll admit, we should have been more aware of what we were signing, lesson learned. We ended up canceling the order for the bedroom suit as they couldn’t tell us when it would come in. After receiving bills from the company we were going to finance thru, we discover it was for this protection plan. Who finances a protection plan for something they paid cash for?? Apparently us, but not on purpose. They refuse to cancel it. Not only this, but when we visited the store just a couple weeks after buying the couch to look for a kitchen table, an employee made a comment to another employee about how she “knew exactly who we were” loud enough for my husband to hear. Needless to say, we took our business elsewhere and will NEVER return. If your thinking of buying furniture here I’d suggest looking elsewhere first.
Ashley Home Store absolutely SUCKS! I ordered my new bedroom set March 2021 and it was not delivered until December 18, 2021 (9 months later). Throughout the process I had to call for updates, there were NO COURTESY CALLS or follow-ups and discovered they were GIVING MY PIECES TO OTHER CUSTOMERS! As if that was not enough they delivered the WRONG MATTRESS and here I am on February 8, 2022 NEARLY A YEAR LATER still trying to get the correct pieces. I'm going to share on WSPA and WYFF news because I'm a HANDICAPPED INDIVIDUAL who has been and is being bullied by corporate America.; name ASHLEY FURNITURE! 💯😡

One star because there is no zero for a review . In july of last year my husband and I visited the Spartanburg store in hopes of buying some near furniture for our sunroom. We we unsure of the furniture we choose would fit, but our associate Mason informed us that if not, it wasn’t a problem, we could return it. So we decided to make the purchase. We were told there would be some delays and that it would be October before we would receive the furniture. With that knowledge, we still continued with the purchase. October came and went, and yep, no furniture! So in November, my husband made a called both the local store and corporate, but neither could tell him a date for delivery. By this time, I was getting extremely aggravated, I had already waited 4 months, and now I’m hearing they have no idea when I’ll get my furniture! Finally in December my husband spoke with customer service and was told that all items were in stock and we could schedule a delivery date. So we picked a date and he called back only to be told there was no record of the previous conversation, and only part of the order was ready for delivery! As frustrated as I was, I decided to set up a delivery for what they did have in stock, and then just wait for the rest. I wanted all the pieces I had intentionally orders! So, the partial order was delivered, with very little help from the delivery team. They basically dropped it off and left. Of course, like I was afraid of, the furniture didn’t fit. But I was told we could exchange it, so I wasn’t too worried. However, several phone calls, by my husband, and speaking to several different people, both on the phone and in the store, I am stuck with furniture that doesn’t fit, they are refusing to let us exchange or return it! I will never make another purchase from Ashley Furniture, nor would I recommend anyone else to do so as well.
Best furniture shopping I have ever done. Over the years I have bought furniture more than just a few times. It's always been not a great experience. This time has been absolutely amazing. My sales person Christine Gowan was more like an old friend than someone I just met & purchased furniture from. I had a coupon & she fully explained how the sales price was a better deal than the coupon. Most sales people would not have bothered. She truly cares about her customers. Even though we were still in a pandemic & delivery times were unsure Christine totally settled my fears. The Spartanburg store should consider themselves extremely lucky that they have such an awesome sales person. Thank you Christine Gowan your help was deeply appreciated.
I purchased a chair and ottoman mid Nov of 2021. The day before pickup, they called and said the ottoman has not arrived but the chair is ready, do I want to get the chair and we will deliver the ottoman for free. I went ahead and picked up the chair but 2 months later still no ottoman. Had I have known, I would have never picked up the chair. I have called twice and they will not even give me an idea when it may be available. Do not pick up or accept any piece of furniture from them unless the entire order is available.
We can always find exactly what we are looking for at Ashley Furniture- and the customer service is over and beyond. Christine was our sales person - she helped us find exactly what we were looking for and explained all the good points of the sale and we walked out very satisfied customers!! We look forward to our new bedroom set arriving in the next couple of weeks. Thanks Ashley !! Another room in our home is happy with you in it.

Greeted promptly by a courteous, non-pushy sales associate, who spent the next FOUR HOURS with me without missing a step. Decided on a couch, presented me with a PAPER CREDIT APP (I applied online myself anyway), made the sales numbers work out, but I did NOT get the $50 discount I was told I’d get for a St. Jude donation, nor was I given the added 5% off for opening/using a new Ashley credit card.

I ordered a sectional couch from Ashley Furniture in August 2021 it was supposed to be delivered by September 10th but the salesman said it would be in much quicker. The delivery date came and went. When I called to inquire about this I was told because of COVID that they were still out of stock and they did not have an estimate as to when it would be back in at the warehouse. I was told in October when I wanted to cancel my order that they had a tentative date in late November. When I called to cancel my order since there was no exact date to receive my order they were rude and told me if I cancelled they would charge me a restocking fee of 10%. I told them I was told it would be in with in 3 weeks and 2.5 months later I still had no couch but had already had my credit card charged. They were rude and blamed me for not understanding the contract and they had 90 days to fulfill the order. I was never told that and trusted the sales person. I told them not to cancel my order because I was not getting charged for cancelling an order that had no date of delivery but that I would call my credit card company and let them handle it. I called my credit card and explained what occurred with the company and they said they would take care of it and credit the money back to my account. Two days after being told it was not in the warehouse with no for seeable date when it would come in I was called to set up delivery for my couch. I refused to accept it because I knew it was not a new couch I paid for but a floor model that they found and decided to try and deliver. I refused to accept it again they were very rude to me. It was a horrible experience and I will not do business with them again. If only they had been honest told me how long it would be, that they couldn't get it in but would give me a floor model after having it cleaned or asked me to come in to pick a different couch anything but customer service needs a massive over haul they were extremely rude and inconsiderate.

My son bought a bed at the Spartanburg SC store. Not his first purchase there. First order delay because foot board came in broke. They then brought out bed with no rails. Brought out rails, then no hardware. This is all during the course of 4 weeks. Extremely poor delivery service. We do not recommend buying from this store.
We had been looking for an accent chair for our living room for some time and we decided to try here one day. We found one we liked but while we were there we bought a patio couch and patio cocktail table. A rug and two Adirondack chairs. We also bout a small table. The table was in stock but the rest we had to wait on shipping. This was the last weekend in June. When we got home my wife ordered some more items on line. We received the first online order, a double bed, the next week. It was missing some hardware that we had to reorder. Then the night stand she ordered online came and was damaged. This turned in to a fiasco where the store couldn’t help me and the online essentially would not help me. The store manager ended up replacing the piece when I threatened to cancel my entire order. My daughters bookshelf, also ordered online, came in a timely fashion and had no issues. A week after placing our order at the store I was informed some paperwork wasn’t filed correctly and our order had not been placed so I had to go back to the store and redo the paperwork. Now here it is 13 weeks later and we just got our couch, rug, table, and Adirondack chairs but we were told we may want to reorder our accent chair, which was the whole reason for all the other purchases, because it may not arrive until after the first of the year. Wouldn’t be so bad but our salesman told us that we’re Llewelyn being told to tell people 12 weeks to ship but most stuff was shipping unless than 8 weeks. We love our furniture and will be happy when everything arrives but we will probably not be back to Ashley.
Customer service was amazing. Napolean helped us and he was super knowledgable not pushy at all. We were able to find a great selection and he helped us get a great price. Would definitely recommend.

Our salesperson, Cortez, was a great help both times that we went there to pick out new furniture for our living room. He was very patient and attentive, friendly yet professional. Our shopping there was very enjoyable. When we went back, we got a great deal on our coffee table set.
I liked the fact that it was a no pressure sales experience. I was left to browse at my own convenience. Then, when I was ready, Julia was ready and available to make my purchase an easy transaction. I had a great experience recently. I worked with Daniel at the store in Spartanburg. Since I had something fairly specific in mind, he took the time to walk around the store and show me options that would work then left me alone to decide. He assisted me in approval for financing and explained the costs and benefits of the supplemental protection package for my couch. With pandemic supply shortages, delivery times for furniture are extended (sometimes to 8 or 10 months!). Daniel was realistic throughout the process regarding what my wait time for delivery could be. HOWEVER, through some miracle unbeknownst to me, my couch was scheduled for delivery the week after I bought it even though I was quoted around 8 weeks. Overall, I was more than pleased with the service I received and would buy from Ashley furniture again. Thanks for your help, Daniel and others!

I've had to deal with multiple problems with this store. Associates are not very knowledgeable about discounts or financing. Delivery is a joke you can't even schedule a time that is truly convenient for yourself to be home due to work. Nor can you actually take your furniture home from this particular store. You must drive to the distribution center for pick up which is an hour away or more depending on your location. Not worth the hassle anymore.

Worst delivery, compensation and customer service I purchased 2 things in May. 1 order had to be delivered in at the beginning of July.I had to cancel 1 order because they kept pushing back the delivery date and they were never able to give me a specific date and we're almost in August. Went along with the 2nd one as it was ready.Took two 4 hours off from my job, to receive the furniture according to Ashley from 8ham to 11am and they never showed up. They decided to reschedule 2 days later at that same time and still did not show up.They ended up coming at 5h30 pm. I could have gone to work and get back for that delivery. Then they bring me my furniture in a box when it should have been assembled. The guy insisted for me to sign saying everything is right and that they would come with the correct furniture the next day. And guess what nobody showed up. I ended up building it myself because I was tired of waiting on them. It was my 2nd time purchasing something at Ashley Furniture and experienced the same bad service. I would definitely not recommend anyone to buy there unless you don't mind the hassle over the money you pay.

First off let me say that the whole experience my wife and I have had this Ashley Homestore, is beyond unacceptable. We purchased the 4 piece rawcliffe sectional couch back in May. When we bought a new house we had scheduled them to deliver the couch on our move in day. I was told multiple times that 3 out of the 4 pieces would be delivered. When they showed up, they only had the armless chair and the wedge. Barely enough to fit 2 people on the couch when we had multiple people there helping us move in that week. When I asked the delivery guy where our 3rd piece was, he said he didn't know. So I called customer support and spoke to Quasha. Quasha is the most unqualifed person to be in the customer service business. I filled her in what happened and she said she doesn't know why they didn't deliver all of the pieces and the soonest they could get the 3rd piece delivered was 3 days later. I said that is unacceptable since I was told 3 out of the 4 pieces would be delivered that day. Why should we have to wait for the next week to come by. We should be put in the front since yall messed up. She wouldn't respond so I asked to speak to a manager. She then asks what manager I want to speak to. I said I don't care, just give me one and she told me she can't just connect me to any manager there. She then puts me on hold for 15 minutes, comes back fumbling the phone and hangs up on me. I called back and was now 17th in line. At this I have beyond had it. Eventually support calls back and luck just has it, it's Quasha calling me back claiming we got disconnected. I told her to not even say another word and give me a manager. Eventually she transfers me and I get Chris from the store. He agreed as to the fact that there was a lot of miscommunication and that those 3 pieces should have been delivered. Sadly they still couldn't get it delivered for another several days. So fast forward to the day they deliver that 3rd piece and after the delivery crew left, we noticed they installed the front left leg wrong. At this point we were also notified that our 4 and final piece was to be delivered on July 15th. So I called the support line again and asked that since the last piece is getting delivered on Thursday, can that crew please fix the leg on the other piece. The support woman told me absolutely. I said great can you make a note in the system for them? She told me no there is no reason to do so since they have everything they need to do it and I just need to ask them. NOW fast forward to July 15th and the crew shows up, installs the 4th piece and I ask if they can fix the other leg. The delivery guy LITERALLY tells me no they can't because no note was put in the system telling them that they needed to bring a different set of tools to fix it. I said well that tool you are using to install the other legs is the same tool the other guys used. He said no it is a different tool and we need to get someone else out there to fix it. I am beyond frustrated and done with Ashley Homestore. My wife and I just bought this new house and need a TON of furniture to go in it. And this was the first experience we had with Ashley Homestore. Do you think we will ever come back? Nope, not a chance. Do ya'll a favor and stay far away from this company!
I had to take the delivery company to court for backing into my house. I won in court. No one came to represent the delivery company and they still refuse to pay to fix my house. This has been well over a year. Ashley furniture did nothing to help. I did not have a problem with any employee at this store, but I can't believe this company operates so poorly and will not take any responsibility for the crew they sent.

They came back 2 weeks later with the wrong rails again after i talked with customer service and the lady said they open the box to make sure that they where the right rails but when they came back with the wrong rails again!!!! Dealing with her made our shopping experience easy and worry free. We even went back to her to make a separate purchase. Go ask for her when shopping at the Spartanburg location and she will take good care of you like she did our family. Her customer service experience was out of this world! Not even once did she get frustrated with all of our purchases and choices, she stayed on top of things when we needed her. Thank you so much!!!!!
We worked with Sierra and she was great. We really liked her energy. We purchased a dining set, living room set, and bedroom set for our new home. Due to covid it's still going to take a few weeks for the entire order to be completed, but we will have most of it by the end of July. I will update my review if things go awry but so far we are pleased with our experience.

The most horrible experience ever with trying to order just two pieces of furniture. I use to love this store. No one in the store handles returns and anything for that matter after you have placed your order. You are referred to call a customer service number that no one ever answers. I can definitely say once I have resolved this issue I will not shop here again.
Ashely customer service is very very poor and the furniture is poor quality. I purchased a sofa from them it took 6 Or 7 months to deliver. Once delivered it was defective after 2 failed attempts to correct. I was told I ca not returned the sectional “ it belongs to you once the items are delivered”. Well who want to pay thousand of dollars for defective furniture. So disappointed! I do not recommend anything from Ashley’s! Run!

Worst buying experience from Ashley’s Furniture. We ordered a sectional and waited 3 months on it, which was okay but then when we received it one of the sofas was damaged so bad it was not repairable, the wood was coming out the back of the sofa and the sofa was wobbly. When the repair man came he said when it was in the warehouse they had to have dropped it from really up high to be as bad as it is in the inside. So the sent us a new one a week later and they sent the wrong side of the sofa. They sent us another one and it was still wrong and now they say we have to wait 8-12 weeks for the 3rd replacement which is ridiculous. I shouldn’t have to wait that long for something they did 3 times. When something like this happens you should be reimbursed. I will never buy from Ashley’s Furniture again. One star just because the sectional is very comfortable.

We got a table on February 20th and it wasn't in stock. We were told it may take awhile to come in but would get a text biweekly with updates. We have only gotten one update text and that was because I called to get an update. This is now April 28th and we still don't know when we will be getting our table. I called again for an update and because of being told I was 89th on the call list I decided to get a call back, three hours later my phone did ring once and stopped before I could answer so I didn't get to talk with anyone. At this point I wished we had just went somewhere else. I would not recommend getting anything from here unless they have it in stock.
The delivery of our 2 sectionals was HORRIBLE!!! They damaged our entry foyer door took it straight off the hinges as it was caught up in the plastic covering! Then the storm door will not shut either or align right! The claim that we submitted over the phone with a customer representative named Wanda was on 4-02-2021. We have called back six times since then and were told that we were supposed to receive an email in reference to our damage claim but it must have went to our trash or junk mail. This is NOT TRUE! I have checked ALL emails including junk mail and the supervisor there said the email would be coming from gomiles.com there is no email! I know now that they are giving us the run around and have NO INTENTION of repairing our doors! BEWARE!!!! I even told them if I did not hear anything from them that I would write this review! That didn’t seem to matter either!!!

I had a wonderful experience shopping for my new couch. The store is big, with a wide selection of styles to choose from. There was no high pressure sales tactics. The staff are very friendly and informative. Especially Mr. Lee, who made my whole experience a 10 star, but I can't give them more than 5.
Shop a mom n pop store where customer loyalty is valued. Shopped there several times, the last in February. Will not shop there again.
Shopped there for 5 years and even returned $200 in merchandise that was delivered to me inadvertently a few years back when I bought a mattress and pillows. Came across a problem and canceled an order. They charged me over $400 and refused to offer a refund. I will never go back.
If you buy furniture from here make sure you plan on never moving because if you move the furniture from where it was delivered it voids any and all warranty you may have

So I've been waiting since 2:30pm and they decide to call at 6:40pm to claim that the team "got hurt"! The thing is, they had previously called an hour prior and hung up. Now I'm being told I need to call to reschedule a deliver when I am already waiting up to 12 weeks for other furniture I purchased at the same time! Now here I am with no bed, since I had already cleaned everything out to get my new stuff! This absolutely sucks! I wish a million times I had gone elsewhere and I would really like for them to refund my money which was quite a hefty sum!

Paid 4 grand for a new matress, bedframe, and two nightstands. We were told we wouldn't get them till March due to covid 19 manufacturing problems. We were fine with this. So they cancelled our first delivery due to what they said was a damaged headboard. Turns out it was a destroyed nightstand. We scheduled delivery for the one intact nightstand and bed and frame, to reschedule the other at a later time. So then they can deliver March 28th. So I move my family plans to have it delivered. Then their delivery driver decided at 4 pm after making 11 deliveries on a Saturday, that he was sick. We were to be the 12th delivery. So the warehouse stated they couldn't deliver. We have slept on a mattress on the floor for months because our old bedframe broke and our new one hasn't come in. So we called customer care and were told "their system is down for reschedules" asked to speak to a manager and was encouraged to cancel our order if we have a problem. We refused as we don't want want to wait another 5 months for furniture. After all this they didn't offer to waive delivery fee, or give us a discount, or offer any service recovery, or even try to assist us in any way. We were told we should call Monday to reschedule, but they don't deliver to our area on any days other than Wednesday through Friday. Which had to be a lie because today is Saturday, our second failed delivery. Additionally they reattemped deliver 3/28. My headboard was destroyed and damaged. The customer service person was rude to my wife when she refused delivery of damaged good. I have contacted the number below and when asked to and after they take more than a week to reply, they refer me to the same line ive been calling all along. The customer care line. Ideally my stuff will be delivered today 4/10, 3 months after I ordered it. After three destroyed furniture pieces I will never use Ashley again for anything. The showroom employees are great. The delivery and logistics and warehouse and customer service have all been abysmal and disorganized.

Incredibly bad customer service, I cannot recommend this store or company to anyone. We ordered a large sectional and they have no-showed on multiple delivery dates over 2 months after we purchased the item- and sent us no notification of the cancellation, then made us wait multiple days to reschedule. There is a 10% cancelation fee which would be almost $300 for us and nobody in customer service seems to have the ability to help in any way.

Do you like high pressure sales and terrible customer service? If so, this is your store. Everything from my purchase to delivery was terrible. Store managers will not return phone calls, even a regional manager named Christ doesn't seem to return phone calls, and customer service phone number has a long wait time with no results. I would highly discourage anyone from purchasing here.

We just did a walk-through to check things out. Looks like some pretty decent, fashionable, and affordable furniture. They DO have some really nice looking accent prices, though. The store is huge and laid out well. The staff is helpful and not harrassing.

I ordered a set of two nightstands and a matching bed frame. It’s been three months since the delivery and installation guys showed up and left without installing my items. The help I’ve got from the sales representatives in the store and customer support is as follows: 1. Sent wrong hardware to my address 5 times so I can install the set on my own even though I paid for in home installation. 2. Once I was thoroughly fed up and wanted to return my items the customer service representatives gave me a run around and told me to go into the store to which the sales manager said he can’t process that information the customer service reps are the only ones who can. After countless phone calls and being on hold for hours they told me “We have to submit a request for refunds to our corporate office which you can’t speak to.” 3. They continue to send the wrong hardware to my address and i still don’t know what the status of my return is. 4. My lease is still being drafted out of my account and as of today I no longer have my 90 day no interest buyout option because I am waiting for a answer on my return request. If I were you I wouldn’t deal with this Company they screwed with my money and my time and I still didn’t get what I payed for. Update. 6 months later and I still do not have my furniture.... a delivery was scheduled for today 11/22, a month in advance, and I drove 4 hours from my parents home at 5:00 am to my place to be available for the delivery. They called me this morning one hour before the scheduled time to say the warehouse did not pass the final inspection. Basically I’m going to have to wait another month to get my delivery or I can drive an hour to go pick up the furniture and assemble it myself. This is definitely not what I paid for and they’ve basically refuse to give me a refund for the item as even though I’ve already paid for them. Disrespectful company. Would not recommend
This is an update to a review I left 3 months ago where I gave it 5 stars but unfortunately had to change it to a one. If I could have, it would have received zero stars, for the reasons below. Sorry it's so long, but it is a must read before anyone makes any purchase with this store or any other Ashley's Furniture Homestore. I was unable to send a message through their website, I would assume it is because they are getting too many messages sent because of delays in shipments. We placed our order on 12/07/2020 and was told our shipment would be delivered on 02/19/2021. We received a call on 02/16/2021 saying our shipment was delayed until the first week of March. Now we are going on the 3rd week of March and after speaking with an Ashley Homestore Supervisor yesterday, 03/16 she said they were still working on shipping out orders that were placed in Aug 2020, so with that said we could be potentially waiting another 6 months before we receive the rest of our bedroom furniture, which consists of the most important part ; OUR BED. We have been sleeping on the floor since we placed our order back in December 2020. If it wasn't for the salesman who sold us the furniture and told us we would receive our bed in Feb 2021 we would have walked out of Ashley's Homestore that day and would have went to a competitor's furniture store and we probably would be sleeping on a bed right now, but we took his word for it and now we are paying the price. Even under the circumstances this world is under right now this is an extremely bad way of treating customers. I even yesterday asked the Supervisor I spoke with, at what point is Ashley's Homestore going to start compensating their customers who have been waiting this long and she was not even able to give me a straight answer all she said was the order had to be delivered before any compensation to the customer can be discussed and only then can the customer call back and possibly wait on the phone for hours to even speak with a customer service agent about being compensated. If any second or 3rd line supervisor reads this and would like to respond, please do!!! If you would like to speak with me personally, please call!!! I would love to speak with you. All you have to do is look up my name and dates and I'm sure our order and phone number will appear, maybe all the notes of the multiple times I have called will also come up so you can get the whole picture before calling.
I will never expend one more penny at this store I bought a mattress 4 days ago I did not open the box and went back there to exchange they do Not allow me because acordinho their policy they do not do it come on the store that big!!! I do not any return I just want exchange for something more expensive after this experience I prefer spend money on eBay or flea market They treat you good before you expend your money after that they do no are at all

Never would I recommend this store to anyone. I try to be very understanding but enough is enough.I have spent in excess of three thousand dollars for a bedroom suite that was damaged when delivered then within two weeks also had one of the handles completely fall apart. Issues have been reported multiple times and ABSOLUTELY NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE TO RESOLVE ANY REPAIRS. Their idea of customer service is in telling you to call another number. In other words, not their problem. My time is valuable and my expectation that a store where you spend your money would deliver quality products and service. My expectations are someone should be following up to confirm issues are resolved to at least let the customer know they are trying to do right by the sale. This is not the case at Ashley Furniture in Spartanburg. Their only interest is in making a sale. BBB will be my next post.

I will never shop at Ashley Furniture again. I bought 3 tables they can’t tell me when they will be in. I call to check was told it could be eight weeks.Why wasn’t I told that when I purchased them?The store manager was the worst. They said they couldn’t sell the ones on display.If the store is moving to another location why not!!!! I sold furniture for 33 years and we would never have treated anyone that way. When you left our store you had a delivery date.If it had to be ordered he would call the factory and they would tell him approximately when it would arrive.This is the Spartanburg Store.

A verry bad experience when it came to delivery even calling the store the staff was no help at all and rude ... never again will I order from this place ever !!! I ask to talk to a manager all I got was there is no manager here
Sales staff is great! That is where the great ends: I am really struggling with this store delivery. I have not had the other part of my couch section since we moved in our new home in May. First they pushed the delivery date back due to a fire in the warehouse. Then they brought half of my couch and changed the delivery date on the receiving the remainder of the couch 2 times. Then they called 2 days ago to let us know that they would be delivering the rest of the couch today between 11:30-2:30, and if I could not be here for their delivery, I would BE CHARGED a reschedule fee??? I have to work to pay for that furniture I bought- Can't get off work with that little notice. Additionally, after they rescheduled on me 4 times, who are they to charge me ANY type of reschedule fee? Also, the one section of the couch they did deliver have a dent in it already, so it looks like something in the wood broke in the couch, and obviously, we have not ever sat on the couch because it really isn't usable without the full couch- We just kept our old love seat to use until the furniture came. I bought 2 complete bedroom sets and this sectional couch... I spent a ton of money and delivery has been a nightmare! I plan on contacting them regarding the broken part of the couch, but if my experience is on par with the rest of the reviews on here regarding the same issue, it likely won'y matter. However, I will update my review to reflect, should I be pleasantly surprised.

Bought a couch and an entertainment center from here and had great customer service. I guess I should have read the reviews because now like a lot of people I’m having issues with delivery. Originally it was a 6 week wait for delivery though I was told if I wanted to pick it up I could get it faster. I get a call today 3 days before my delivery and I’m told it will be two more weeks due to production issues. Amazing to me it can be production issues 6 weeks after I purchase the items. My new house will now be without a couch for two months not that the person who called cares at all. Won’t shop here again solely based on their delivery department.

I do not recommend this store to anyone. First time purchasing from Ashley because we liked several furniture sets. Thousands of dollars spent, first item arrived with defects already. Quality looks poor and the color was darker from the well light store. Went to store to return, Chris the GM called customer care because over the phone they declined return and said to see the store for other options. After many conversations this store will not take the item back or even exchange. I tried to cancel my other orders that are still 3 weeks out but they are charging 10% cancellation fee. I’ve never experienced such business practices. It’s somewhere in the fine print supposedly that they have you initial quickly. Their financing does push hard a payment protection plan “included” in your payment. I had to confront the rep about not being upfront because the person I was assisting with the purchase thought it was included, as in no cost. You are better off buying clearance furniture from other places. Far from any good honest business practice. They just want to sell you junk and send someone to repair if needed. If you REALLY want to purchase from Ashley, at least online will allow allow 72 hours to return. I wish they were more willing to care about customer service.
I brought a bed from Ashley Furniture Store and I have had the worst time trying to get someone to even return my call. I love the bed frame but my mattress are horrible. When I lay on the mattress, I am rolling down hill. I have to get towards the middle of the bed just so I can be level in the bed. My back in beginning to hurt because the bed is not level. It is a Hybrid and they are suppose to be a good mattress, but I can't tell. I have called about 5 times and nobody has reached out yet.
My husband and I just bought a bed from this store. We’re a military family that is being moved across the country soon so we wanted to find something of really good quality that could be delivered quickly. Rob helped us. He was so thorough in explaining everything. He was great! I couldn’t have been more pleased.
We had a delightful experience here! we got $1,000 off😱 a King mattress, going to get it delivered for no charge and we got interest free payments!!!! We went to Badcock based off Fb reccomendations, decided to then go to Ashley's and I am so glad we did because Mason helped us with an originally uneasy expectation of the buying experience. Definitely will be back!
The associate was able to speed up the delivery of my furniture. He took his time and showed me around and after getting my preference I picked the first bed he showed me as i thought it was ideal.

Purchased a sofa and lounge 2 mondays ago to be delivered the following saturday after I moved into my new home. The couch arrived this morning and was brought in and set up within minutes of arrival. Lee and Chris were both super helpful at the store for getting me what I wanted and liked!
HORRIBLE customer service. HORRIBLE business practices. We bought a couch in February PAID IN FULL! They told us they would call us a day or so before delivery and schedule a time , our date for delivery would be March 20th. Come March 19 we get a call saying that they will not be delivering our couch until April 1st and that it was on back order. We call customer service and ask what is going on. They tell us that the couch is on back order (why they didn’t place the order in February and tell us in February is beyond me) but they tell us ( very rudely) that they will call us on April 1st. To tell us IF they would deliver our couch. We are currently waiting to see if we are going to get our couch in April that we paid in full for in FEBRUARY! But they did offer us a gift card to their store for all this trouble..... of course... 🙄🙄🙄

My store experience was great however the delivery team backed into my porch causing major damage including structural damage and then took off without talking to me. I am having to deal with too many people and companies to deal with this and I am absolutely disgusted with how this is being handled.
one of my livingroom set was blue cloth material I paid for a brown leather set took them a week to pick it and still didn't bring the right one with them.i didn't sign for set but it was mysteriously signed by the time delivery guys made it back. so another week later they scheduled another delivery Feb 25 from 130 to 530 and I get a call at 9pm saying on the way running a little behind. finally they show up at my house at 11:15PM for damn recliner. pure bs. last time ever dealing with Ashley furniture.

I made this review when I purchased now I am updating the store and people it's self great!! The delivery terrible.. Supposed to got my stuff the January 24 they kept pushing my time started at 3 and they pushed time till almost 11 pm got a recording saying be here in 30 min they passed my house I checked online for updates they cancelled.. I never got a call from a person saying sorry can't find you're house or anything so now I have to wait for next date if this don't go right Im getting a full refund and also never getting anything else from here anyways after I get this !
Descent furniture
we just made our first purchase for our house and I could not have left happier. I am a very anxious shopper and struggle to make decisions. Joel was patient and answered any and all questions that we had. I was very worried going in that the sales would be extremely pushy but that was not the case at all. Joel gave us space to walk around and figure out what liked and disliked but when we had questions, he was never too far away. He had extensive knowledge on everything that we asked about and really listened to what we were looking for.
Mason Wilson was fabulous! We went in just to browse some living room options! He was the epitome of the perfect salesman! Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and not over bearing! He let us look and make our decisions and he was there for us when we were ready! He helped us through getting our financing setup, warranties, and delivery in no time at all! We don’t spend our money often on large purchases so when we do, it has to be at the right place and with the right people. Mason definitely made it the right place for us! Thank you so much! We are very happy with our experience in the Spartanburg Ashley Homestore and our salesman Joel Gover. We shopped there first for living room furniture and didn’t know what we wanted yet. Joel asked a couple of questions then guided us to the area we needed. He let us look around without hovering, but checked in periodically. We got a better idea of what we wanted, but wanted to shop around before making any decisions. Joel never pressured us to buy anything and he didn’t try to push us toward something we didn’t want. After shopping elsewhere, we ended up back at Ashley because of Joel, the quality of the furniture and it’s made in the USA. We found a better price on Ashley’s website for the furniture we chose and they matched the price with no hassle, and even gave us another discount on top of that. We will go to Ashley and Joel for our future furniture needs. We highly recommend this store.

Mason is not a high pressure salesman ; he is about listening to you and showing you what you may want or need. The deliver was on time. I spent $5,000 here, waited weeks for delivery, putting clothes in the dresser three days after delivery when i notice a manufacturer defect. I call it in, and i am told that i need to go through the protection plan that i purchased additionally. Because the store only warranties it for 24 hours after delivery. To top it off, they haven't even finished delivering everything i purchased a month after the fact. I recommend shopping elsewhere and when the operator asked if i wanted to be transferred to the protection plan people i said well i guess i have to, thanks for making this as inconvenient as possible for the consumer. And then she hung up on me.
I would like to thanks Ashley homestore of SPARTANBURG for hiring two great man ( Mr. Lee Blackwell and his manager Chris) who not only help me select the right sofa sleeper but found their best to price match their online competitors. I can not rate on the sofa sleeper quality of workmanship because I have not yet received the sofa. I will give an update review as soon as I get my sofa and provide feedback on services that provide by delivery men. I hope they are great as they advertise.
We have recently relocated and needed a couple of items for our new home. Ashley is such a pleasant shopping experience. There was was no pressure and hovering. They offer the right balance of assistance and the understanding of just letting you browse. Lee Blackwell was so helpful. We will be back to see Lee again when we are ready to purchase.

I am having delivery problems in this store, not delivered on combined. My friend warned me because he had the same problem and I didn't hear. I have nowhere to sleep and my family either. The store has no position and does not help. I bought the furniture from salesman Noah Hoit, I didn't buy the furniture he liked because it wouldn't arrive on time, so we selected another one because he said it would arrive by the agreed day. I bought mattresses and a sofa.
Delivery delayed due to truck break down. Wasted day on them waiting. Then the furniture was dropped and did not tell me. I had to point out damage. Then they do not install handles. $100 delivery fee and do not install handles. Beware of the delivery process. Spoke to customer service and she was not very nice had to wait next day to call back. It’s damaged and I had to do all the calling. Will never get my money again. BEWARE!!
We were greeted as we walked through the door by Lee. He was wonderful!!! We told him what we were looking for and found us exactly what we wanted. He also got us the table and chairs at the price we wanted. We had a great experience there!!!

Quality Ashely furniture, bought it from Bishop's furniture. They don't make them like this anymore. I Had my furniture for15 years.
The store itself in Spartanburg, SC was amazing. Very friendly, helpful, and professional staf . Now the delivery and the multiple products I ordered were the exact opposite of what I would expect from Ashley's especially having a great experience at the store. Multiple item's damaged, not put together properly, dents, scrapes, broken mirror, bed rails and drawers not aligned correctly. Just a a complete disappointment. What should have taken a couple weeks for delivery took a month and a half with multiple "apologies" and excuses. Then for the inconvenience we were offered the bare minimum or store vouchers which I found hilarious. If I had so many issues the first time why would I shop at Ashley's again? I will never shop at Ashley's again and made sure I keep anyone I know from making the same mistake. I would have had a better experience at Walmart

I had a good experience overall at the Spartanburg location. Daniel Sessoms helped us out. He's a nice guy, ask for him. Despite other customers reviews, delivery went well. I like the wireless feature of the Sessom leather reclining living room group. I chose the wireless power option so I don't have wires running across the floor for furniture that sits centered in the room. Brands other than Ashley Furniture require wires attached to a power outlet. It has a USB port in each control The cons; it takes an extra minute to get out of the furniture because it's power. I now realize I use the reclining much more than I thought I did. When returning to the upright position, lumbar and headrest are reset, which is a little inconvenient. This could use an express down feature and relocation of the controls. It would also be nice if the furniture did not reset adjustments The only hiccup I had was a wire harness fell off the hand controls for the recliner but I finally figured it out.
Sales people were dressed professionally and we're very helpful. Store has many options but I was still able to move about the store with ease.

I had a great shopping experience at this store with Christine! She was a great help and went thru the store with me to see the items I had already picked out online. Christine made sure I got the absolute best price on each item I choose. I had already decided on the items I wanted from looking online and this was not the typical experience of shopping for furniture and being pushed toward higher priced items. Christine is great to work with and very patient! There are very reasonably priced nice pieces of furniture at Ashley HomeStore. I recommend shopping here for furniture and definitely ask for Christine! Since this review my furniture was delivered the date and time promised. The truck actually arrived at 7:45am. This was early but the delivery men showed great team work and were very polite and courteous. There were no problems with any of the pieces I bought. After reading bad reviews about delivery and damaged pieces I was concerned but my experience was great!
Daniel Sessons was very helpful and accommodating while my husband and I picked out living room furniture. We had him moving furniture and staying late to get us all set! Highly recommend! Thanks again Daniel!
Forgot to mention that Mason always offers exceptional service whether we make a small or large purchase. We are always treated great, furniture that we have purchased over the years from Asley are of great quality. And the one problem we had with a recliner back was quickly addressed by the warranty department. I do 85% of my furniture purchases from Ashley...never disappointed. If you stop by the Spartanburg SC store, be sure to ask for Mason...and tell him Angie sent you....
We had the MOST WONDERFUL experience finding a mattress at this store. Lee Blackwell is the most genuine, caring, and patient sales professional I have ever met. We were shopping for a new mattress for my twenty year old daughter. He explained all of the comfort levels and made sure that he understood her needs and wants in the mattress she was looking for. HE NAILED IT! The mattress was delivered a week ago and my daughter has commented several times about how awesome she has slept. Thank you, Mr. Blackwell for helping us!

Do not, I repeat do not buy anything from Ashley Furniture. I never leave reviews, but their service is so horrible I feel the absolute need to warn others. After spending over a grand on our toddler’s bed, not only did the delivery date keep getting pushed back, but half the bed came crushed! The lady with customer service was horrible. We are having to pay 10 percent fee because in order for our daughter to have a bed to sleep in we had to cancel and go with someone else. A 10 percent fee for their service mistakes?! Please, just use amazon or another company and save yourself the troubles. Update: Noah at the store is great, he’s helping us figure this whole situation out. Even offered for us to come by the store for a mattress for our daughter to sleep. This is the second time we’ve had issues with delivery though.
We worked with Christine, and we couldn’t be happier with our new furniture! She really listened to what we wanted, and even helped us find a compromise between my husband and I. She was also very respectful of our price point, and never pushed us into anything we didn’t want. On the contrary, the Black Friday in July sale was so good, she patiently helped us as we kept adding more items. I’m thrilled with the price and quality we got, and would definitely shop with Christine at Ashley again!
Christine was so amazing! She helped educate us about the mattress we were wanting, she helped us while it was storming and we were trying to load it into our car, and she was very honest. It was the best experience I've ever had with a salesperson. She was extremely pleasant! We were finished in less than 30 minutes. It was great! I would recommend her and the store.

WORST BUYING FURNITURE EXPERIENCE. I bought a dining set that was supposed to be delivered and some how they screw up everything: The truck drivers show up thinking that they will pick up something instead of deliver it, and after that I spend 5 days back and forth with phone calls, no updates and lies until I arrange picking up my stuff by my own.
I had a great experience today with Noah. He answered all my questions and showed me different couches that fit the look I was going for. Next time I need furniture I’ll be sure to go back to visit him!

We had a little bit if an issue with a further out arrival date than anticipated and they went out of there way to make it right. That was above and behold being it was totally out of there control. Mason was very nice with us during the purchasing process, the worst thing came after placing the order: 1.- we bought dinning room, living room, and 2 beedrooms, they split the delivery in 3 dates, in the first delivery the forgot the chairs of the table (yes, I had to eat sitting on the floor) 2.- 2nd delivery was ok, they finally bring the legs of the table 3.- third delivery was only for 2 chairs of the dinning room, few days before the delivery they call to tell me that those chairs were obsolete items and are no longer available (this is something you tell to your customer before he place the order, don't you think?), they offer me the chairs in exhibition in the store, when I asked them how much this will reduce the cost (because those are used chairs basically) they told me "$0", only thing they offer me was a gift card. After I accept to take the used chairs and the gift card now they told me that I have to go to the store and pick them up (I live 45 min. Away from the store). I had to dissasembly the chairs to make them fit in my car Note: when we enter the store they told us the delivery is within one week after placing the order, in my case the all delivery took them almost 2 months Note 2: they never give me the gift card.
Noah and everyone I met in the store was great! Very clean store with a great selection. Noah made sure I found the perfect recliner and was very easy to talk to during the process. I chose to pick up the recliner the next day at the Fort Mill warehouse and had a horrendous experience but I wouldn't use it against this store. Next time I know I will use the delivery option.

We went in here only looking for a couple pieces to compare prices. We were immediately greeted by Lee who was phenomenal. He let us browse and when we had questions about certain pieces he found them and similar ones for us to look at. A few hours later, we left the store after having purchased 5 pieces, 2 of which I had no intention of looking for when walking in. Lee and Mason were fantastic to work with and took care of us like we were family! I will definitely come back if I need anything else!
This is the worst furniture buying experience I have ever had. The salesman, Daniel, was excellent but that is where anything good stops. We were scheduled to have our delivery on June 15 between 10:30 and 1:30. They called at 1:30 to say they would not arrive until 3:30 to 6;30. We called Daniel and he said that it showed 4:00 to 7:00. They finally showed up at after 8:00pm. The first piece of furniture they unloaded was a table top that was scratched. We refused it. The coffee table was missing parts and they took it back and the server that went with the table they broke the legs off of when they were putting it together. They did not even have half of our furniture that was ordered on the truck. They left after 9:30. We called the store and they promised to take care of it but the store manager,Chris, was off until Monday at 1:00. One of the salesmen called my husband on Sunday and assured us that we would get the furniture ASAP. I heard nothing from anyone on Monday so I called the store at around 8:00pm. The joke of a store manager kept giving me the runaround and would never give a straight answer about when we would receive our furniture. He basically called myself and my husband liars because the delivery team forged our signatures to the delivery paperwork saying that we received all the furniture. 4 days later still no furniture and the delivery team ran over our bushes and destroyed a tree in our front yard when they were leaving. We are working with the corporate office to get our furniture and repair our yard since the store manager is useless. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE. I hope that Daniel gets a job somewhere else so I can buy furniture from him there. I will not be back to Ashley Furniture in Spartanburg SC. If I could give negative stars I would.
My family and i walked in and didnt get a hey how are you or nothing. We walked around for like 10 -15 minutes and pass several salesmen and no one acknowledged us until we watch two of them talking and finally one caught us looking at them and then wanna ask us if we needed anything. We were headed out the door then. We went next door and it was only one salesmen and he acknowledged us and told us he will be with us shortly. EVERY FURNITURE PLACE WE WENT TO TODAY GREETED US AT THE DOOR BESIDES YOU ALL. YOU REALLY NEED TO WORK ON THE CUSTOMER SERVICE

My husband and I entered the Spartanburg Ashley Homestore to purchase furniture and were very impressed and pleased with the entire process from selection to purchase. The associate, Lee Blackwell has a natural way of connecting with customers. He was kind, helpful, and patient through the entire process. He was very thorough covering the sale document. Furthermore, other members of his team assisted at intervals and demonstrated a team process. I would highly recommend this store and especially Lee!
Big showroom and great selection of furniture. The staff are very friendly and they let you shop without following you around. I love all of their living room suites. The mattress selection is also great too. They have sales periodically too and the prices are very reasonable. Lots of name brands at great prices. If you're in the market for furniture, be sure to check them out.

Christy and Daniel were very helpful when we were ordering the furniture and we really appreciate their help. However, we had three separate delivery dates and each one has had an issue. The first delivery was not on time and my sister and I waited 7 hours for the delivery. The second delivery, the gentleman didn't wear moving shoes, we just had the carpet cleaned and had to clean up behind them, also, the furniture wasn't delivered on time. The last delivery was scheduled for April 23. I received a call on April 22 stating that there would be a delay because one of the items was not in stock as promised by the store in Spartanburg, SC. They arrived at my home today and my bed wasn't on the truck to be delivered. No one called me to inform me about this. We called and were informed that the bed would be delivered on May 4! By that time, we would have been in our new home for a MONTH and I do not have a bed! This is unacceptable! Lastly, we were told by Daniel that our credit would be checked once, it was checked two or three times each which in turn makes our credit scores go down even more. My sister has spoken with Ashley Home Store over the phone but I will be in the store today when I get off work to speak with someone about this matter. I'm sure there has been delivery charges added onto the bill as well for the now fourth delivery and I will be asking for a printout of ALL CHARGES! This is unprofessional and we should be compensated in some way. A $50 gift card that can only be used in the store will not be enough for everything we've had to endure with this company. We are very unhappy and would never refer anyone to Ashley Home Store ever!
My husband and I recently purchased our furniture from Ashley home. Lee and Mason were absolutely amazing in helping us pick out the perfect furniture. We are more than pleased with our purchase and will definitely be shopping here again.
I am so disappointed! I will NEVER spend another dime in an Ashley store! I spent thousands of dollars on new furniture in March. Because of mine and my husbands schedules, and the furniture being shipped, today was FINALLY the day of delivery! We moved all of our furniture out, I deep cleaned carpets, and had everything prepared! I was so excited! After 2 years of living in our home, we were finally financially ready to spend money on nice and new furniture! WELP, I get a phone call this morning and they just simply say “you will not being getting your furniture today.” No explanation, nothing! I am livid!!!!! I call the customer service number and they just said something went wrong with the truck. Well that is just unacceptable! I work 2 jobs and I had everything set for today! I can not just schedule another day this coming week with their “3 hour window” of delivery. It is ridiculous. And I understand that they contract delivery companies out for their deliveries, however, it makes their company look bad! No one cares about that company, we look at Ashley furniture where we spent thousands of dollars!!! This all happened after I had a bad experience with a customer service representative who was rude to me on the phone for simply asking a question! I am done with this company. I will not be purchasing anything EVER again. I am tempted to just cancel this all together and take my business elsewhere. Someone needs to make this right! Editing to add: I had a great experience in store! The guy there was super nice and helpful! But that experience is just washed away by all of these mistakes and disappointments.

I wish I would of read reviews before I ordered. 3 1/2 weeks and the only call I got was to reschedule saying pieces of my order were not in stock, I was told when I purchased it they were. I called today to confirm delivery on the NEW date and I was told no I have a different date showing. The store assured me they would call me back after they looked into it and that did not happen. I will not purchase from them again. Also if you do go their any piece you see look up online it’s cheaper they won’t tell you that! And I am now looking for a dining room set for 8 and children’s bedroom sets. I will go somewhere else and it’s a shame I really liked my salesmen. Tomorrow I will fight to cancel my order and see where that gets me. I cannot understand how a company can treat people so poorly.
