After an accident, I faced some challenges and had considered an adjustable bed. I called Ashley Funiture in Pierre and had the pleasure of speaking with Misty Anderson. We discussed my needs, limitations, options available and price. After our discussion I explained that I was not able to go into the store and try out mattresses. Knowing it was going to be an important investment I was hesitant to move forward with the purchase due to this but knew I needed some relief that an adjustable bed could give me during recovery as well as comfort after I have recovered. Misty explained that they give you 30 nights to sleep on the mattress and if you are not satisfied you may trade for a different one as long as you have the recommended mattress cover on it. This was music to my ears! She ask many questions to help her make a mattress recommendation. She kept price and quality in mind and ordered what we had discussed immediately. The bed came in on the next truck and she arranged with their delivery drivers to deliver as soon as they could. After 30 day we did go in and try other mattresses. We ended up purchasing an American Made Sterns and Foster mattress. My husband and I were both so impressed by Misty’s knowledge and customer service once again, that it made our decision easy and we are confident that we made the right choice and investment. We appreciate her friendly, quality customer service and knowledge, it was Excellent!!! We also appreciate the delivery team as well, they were so very kind, professional and caring. The excellent experience we received during a challenging time made us feel like a valuable part of the community and gave us much hope knowing that personal customer service is still available. Felt like the good old days again. This is priceless, Thank you ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ordered 2 couches on 12/14/24 for delivery on 1/2/25. Was supposed to get a call regarding the delivery, but got NOTHING. Called the store today and found out that the couches have not yet come in, and even though they should be coming in shortly (are due in to Sioux Falls today), that we now won't get delivery of these couches for nearly a month, since the next available date for delivery is 1/30/25. This is unacceptable, not only that our furniture isn't being delivered as promised but also that no one bothered to reach out to us and let us know there would be a delay. When I called in, the salesperson who answered told me that the sales guy we purchased from was only part time and when I asked to speak with a manager, they were unavailable (store manager on vacation, assistant manager "Misty" was on the phone). If I could give less than one star I would - this is truly appalling, especially since we already emptied out our livingroom last weekend in anticipation of this delivery and now will be without furniture in that room for a full month. If someone had bothered to contact us, we could have at least delayed the furniture removal and not be stuck sitting on bare wood floors for a month.

Kelly Hento Great customer service! Very knowledgeable on all the inventory in the store and had great suggestions on helping us furnish our new house!

Less than one year ago we purchased a Splash Chocolate Sectional from this store. Over $3000 spent on this couch. With this purchase, we also bought the Extended Replacement plan. Now, less than a year later, we have pin feathers coming out of one headrest and two cushions have collapsed. We call Ashley about this and what do we get? A clueless salesman who tells us to refer it to a customer care number. After a rather lengthy back and forth, we now have to wait 3 months for them to get the "parts" to "repair" the cushions in the couch. Apparently, nothing is being done about the feathers coming out of the headrest. If I were you, I would steer clear of this company. Terrible customer service and even worse warranty and replacement plans. Edit: they admit that the replacement plan is not an actual replacement plan. We were lied to when it was sold to us. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE. 3,000 bucks on a couch, its falling apart and they won't to anything about it. Update: The promised 12 weeks was up on March 29. I called Customer Care to see what the delay was. I am now being told that I may have to wait until the end of June for the repair. That makes it six months to process and complete a warranty claim. Please, save your money and sanity and give Ashley a wide berth. There are far better stores out there. Update: Here we are 7 months into the warranty claim, and one month since someone claiming to be from corporate "took over" the case. Still the couch has not been fixed nor replaced and the has been ZERO communication from anyone with Ashley Furniture. Looks like small claims court it is. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THESE PEOPLE! THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER AFTER THE SALE!!! Another Update: Now, eight months in, and still nothing has been done. Promises, then delay, another promise, then a "We can't do that, regardless of what the other person told you."

Misty Anderson was truly the best sales person. I walked in there and she asked what I was looking for and she knew what exactly I wanted. Was there about 30 minutes. Truly the best in town. Tried Karl’s and Slumberland but nothing could compare to the selection and the customer service!!!! Truly the best.

My first experience wasn't great. I was in the store for roughly 30 minutes before being greeted by a salesman that hardly knew the mattresses or the bedding products. Luckily I gave them another chance and ran into Misty Andersen who knew what she was talking about. I was able to get a great deal and feel confident in my purchase. If it doesn't work I know I can trust Misty to find what I need and stay within my budget. She knew the bedding and was able to find comparable sheets without spending for a flashy name. Thank you Misty!! It is such a relief to find a suitable bed.

Horrible service. I was never greeted or assisted with my purchasing needs. I had to seek out a representatives to make my purchase. After paying, I realized I was over charged . The representative never apologized and blamed the system multiple times. The system he was using! He had multiple excuses, which he not once apologized for. Kelly was his name.

We were in the Pierre area and went to Unclaimed Freight to look around, check out recliners and mattresses. Misty, what a gem! She told us about the beds and the recliners and then gave us some time to think things over. She never pressured but did give suggestions! Misty has great customer service and a smile and knowledge about the merchandise. Will we continue to business with Misty? Absolutely!!! We did end up purchasing a king size mattress!

I never write reviews generally as usually don’t get good customer service in Pierre. BUT I’m doing so now as it is warranted. Misty went way above and beyond to help me solve a issue immediately, have purchased at Ashley in Pierre several times and Ashley is fun to work with and does everything to make you happy. Will continue to shop and deal with Ashley. Your company should be proud to have her on your staff.

Educated staff and well laid out

I paid $5000 of a sectional that started falling apart days after the warranty and they could care less.

Prompt to greet. Clean store, very friendly. Examined all details from purchase to pick up to delivery. We're able to meet my time of delivery. Overall clean and professional.

Monte was super Helpfull in helping me and my wife pick out beds for both me and my wife and our kids. He took his time and didn't rush or pressure us! Misti was also great with getting us some discounts and setting up our payment plan. The sales staff works really well together and just wanna make you happy 😊 Thank You!

Very helpful, great products....amazing experience

I live in aberdeen and was looking for a particular color couch and the store here was not able to order it so I called all ashley stores to see if someone might have it. I talked to Wyatt in Pierre who was so kind and helpful. Orderwd the couch for me in 5 minutes and I got it in less than 3 weeks. Considering how long it took to find it and all covid this was amazing. Received it yesterday and I LOVE it. So glad I was so persistent on the color. It was a cheaper couch too and Wyatt didn't care he helped anyway. Thanks Wyatt. Customer service is what it is about.

I've bought all of my furniture from Ashley. I've worked with Misty on 2 occasions. What can I say, she's absolutely fantastic!! Listens to your wants/needs, provides up front info or finds it for you, and ensures that what you purchase falls within your budget. My most recent visit, Misty spend 3, yes 3 hours, helping me. We went back to the drawing board a couple of times to ensure that I was within my budget. She never once got frustrated or gave me the feeling of "gee are we done already" and was helpful all the way thru my purchase. She's also responded to all my questions/concerns in a timely manner after the purchase. I look forward to working with her in the future. Hands down, go pay Misty a visit!

About 2 years ago ,we purchased a loveseat at Ashley Furniture and was very satisfied with the customer service we received. Unfortunately, it was two big for our place setting and had to return it. The sales team made it a very easy and painless exchange for 2 nice recliners in place of the love seat. We will definitely be back to get a new mattress when the time comes.

When we are looking for new furniture,, our first (and ends up only) stop is at Ashley Furniture.. Misty Andersen is by far an amazing sales woman - she takes the time to listen to all of our needs and wants, shows us what we want to look at and then takes the time to show us any items she suggests. Misty is very knowledgeable and knows what items she has on the floor and what items she can order in. Highly recommend Ashley Furniture and Misty for a sales person!! Will definitely be going back for all of our furniture needs!

I originally gave a 5 star review, but am changing it to 1 star, as we are extremely disappointed in our sales reps dishonesty and misinformation. Our sales rep told us in order to get free delivery, we needed to provide a 5 star review, which today we found out is NOT true. We are promised a certain day of delivery for our furniture, and found out the furniture would be delivered until 2 weeks later, which has caused us major inconvenience, as we got rid of our old furniture, anticipating the new stuff to be delivered when promised.

Pricey

Went in looking for a new mattress and got one with a good deal and a new frame. The woman who helped us was very sweet and helped us choose what would work best for us. We had it delivered to our house and one of the guys was very kind about my boyfriend trying to help them. The other driver told my boyfriend not to bother helping because our house was already “trashy” the way it was. I have never been humiliated in my own home like that.

Staff is very friendly. Greets you at the door. A good selection of a lot of their products. Staff has fantastic knowledge of the products on the floor, colors and arrangements available, pricing, etc. Some of the quality, especially of the dressers, is a little lacking. But pretty typical for any big box stores these days. Usually the price reflects this.

Good furniture options and price

My husband and I went in looking for a new bed. Todd Sandal was a great help to us in the process of trying a variety of brands to see what fit us best. He was very honest and helpful which made for a great experience! Todd made sure to ask us enough questions to understand exactly what we were looking for. He wasn't pushy and gave us plenty of time alone to discuss what we wanted to do. Thank you for A+ service, Todd! We will be back soon to buy some furniture!

David was very helpful. He showed us different mattresses with various prices. He was even able to get the mattress delivered the next day. We do all our furniture shopping at Ashley Furniture in Pierre.

Nice staff just a bit pricey

My girlfriend and I were looking into getting a new sectional and had one picked out, and I was able to stop in late in the evening and still able to get it purchased with the help of Dave, he stayed late to assist me and it was really appreciated. Thank you guys.

Good customer experiance but very poor service. Was told they had to wait for one piece of my couch that took way longer then i was told and now they have it but delivery is out if sioux falls and in total its over a month to get a couch. Never again.

I had a special request and Dave worked with me for two hours measuring and figuring out which sectional pieces to purchase. I've bought many items from this store. Everyone is very helpful and easy to work with.

Horrible service, I ordered and paid for two bedroom sets on February 18, was told by the manager that they would be in in three weeks, was available to have them delivered 21-25 March, finally got them delivered on April 6, with someone having to take time off work, which was not the agreement. Was lied to three different times, do not pay for something and then expect them to live up to their end of the deal. We will not be shopping there again and I would expect anyone reading this to be very leery of them, especially the store manager!
