I had to get furniture in a hurry because I am moving my father into Assisted Living from Rehab at a different facility. He was supposed to be at rehab for a month, but ended up doing so well, they decided to discharge him 16 days early. I needed good furniture, FAST. David D. helped me find the furniture I needed AND liked AND was IN STOCK so it could be delivered in time for me to have it all set up in less than a WEEK! Not only did he spend two hours with me in the store getting all the furniture coordinated, but he made sure we would get it at the apartment IN TIME, and even CALLED ME PERSONALLY to let me know it was going to be delivered as scheduled. That's SERVICE! I know I bought a lot of stuff, but I know I'm not the only one who's bought a room full of furniture from them. That kind of service is what generates LOYAL CUSTOMERS who buy WHOLE HOUSES full of furniture, and you can believe when I replace the upstairs bedrooms, I'm shopping with David!

Misgana was incredibly helpful and had a lot of patience for how indecisive I was!

Good but wish they had a bigger selection of furniture.

Sold me a reclining couch that was discontinued without telling me. I didn't buy the extended warranty. Reclining mechanism broke after only 3 years but won't honor manufacturers warranty because discontinued and parts aren't made any more. Wont for anything to help except give me a website to see if I can find parts to fix myself.

Was in there for ovwr an hour and was barely greeted. Never once asked if I had questions. Never once asked me what I was looking for. Never paid any attention to me at all and I was the ONLY customer in there. I was not impressed. Also the furniture at the front of the store that is supposed to be their 1st impression actually looked to be more like used than new. It was terrible.

They helped me order the chair I wanted way better in person than on their website. Will purchase again from the store.

There is a nice selection of furniture no matter what your style is. Chris was so helpful from beginning to end of our shopping.

Bruce did amazing. The chair is beautiful. The only problem is he promised a brown pillow that we could pick up with the chair. He said it would be in with the chair. But it wasn’t!🥲.

Bruce was so, so helpful! He was knowledgeable about the mattress I was coming in to look at. He truly helped me make the best decision and I would recommend him to any friends or family. When I come back, and I will, I will definitely work with Bruce again.

In February of 2023 I purchased a sleeper sofa for 1K+. Sixteen months later, the frame supporting the pullout bed mechanism separated from the frame of the sofa. I called about this on 6/15 and spoke with a representative about filing a claim and having it fixed. The rep stated the frame and mechanism for the sleeper sofa were still under warranty but the labor was not. Ashley furniture got pictures from me and said that nothing was broken but that it could be repaired (labor not included/under warranty and priced at $40 per hour). The sleeper mechanism was attached to the frame with staples and glue. I stated my dissatisfaction that a sleeper sofa with little use would fall apart so quickly. Still I was told that approximately one hour of labor would cover it. I said that I could tolerate that. The rep said someone would call me to set up repairs. Two weeks later I have not heard anything from Ashley furniture. I won’t be purchasing from Ashley furniture again and would recommend others consider a different furniture store as well. Update: Ashley furniture called me today and it will be a $199 ‘deliver fee’ for Ashley to come pick up the sleeper sofa and bring it to the warehouse to repair. Then they estimate 2 hours to repair ($80). Total labor to repair is $279.

The service people hover over you like vultures. Geez give me some space and don’t follow me all over the store. Any time I looked over my shoulder they were there. I even walked to the other end of the store just to test it and they followed me. I could maybe appreciate the rather nice selection you have to offer if I didn’t feel like you were breathing down my neck

I would like to thanks Chris Rerick who was so helpful in assisting in buying chase sofa process and Chip at warehouse who diligently worked to assemble sofa that just got into the store for the display so i could see it and it made my decision to buy one. Thank you guys!! You are awesome team!!!

Browsed the website for a weeks ahead of time, trying to decide what type of couch and chairs we wanted. Walked the entire store testing and comparing, Irina V approached and helped us find out what's available and all purchasing options. We were set on two different furniture sets, just needed to make our final decision on which was for us. Irina waited and helped other customers that walked around while we made our mind up, no pressure at all about suggesting something we didn't want. Made our purchase happily knowing what we our getting and issues if they arise what we need to do! Will be back for more!

I went in to Ashley furniture store today to buy some living room furniture. I was greeted by Brian Weisz, furnishing consultant, and he was good to work with. I liked that Brian listened to us what we were looking for and that he was never pushy towards us to make a sale. He showed us what we were interested in then left us alone to take in the sofas and talk among ourselves without someone breathing over us. We felt like we received great customer service from Brian and we purchased the furniture. We had a good experience here at Ashley and I will be back in the future to make some more purchases.

I went into the store and had Chris help me find a chair that I wanted (which I had found online). He was great, taking me over to show me the fabric on the other pieces in the collection, to make sure it's what I wanted. I'm not sure what went wrong, but apparently the wrong chair was ordered, because the chair in my apartment is NOT what I ordered, it's not even white. I called the store and spoke with the store manager who assured me that he could fix the mistake if I was willing to come in and pay more. So I guess I'm stuck with a chair I would've never ordered, because I already paid $140 to have it delivered and I am NOT paying an additional fee for them to come back and get it (I tried telling the delivery guys to take it back because it wasn't right and they refused. I see their return policy charges you another fee if they have to come back and get it).

“Engaging, responsive, personable, patient, understanding, attentive”, are only a few of the adjectives I would use to describe my experience with Susanna, at Ashley. She not only strove to understand my needs and preferences while in the store, she even communicated with me via text regarding pieces I was looking for, regarding color, style, size, etc. Further, she has a delightful personality (as did all the personnel I met and interacted with, at Ashley)! It was a pleasure to work with Susanna. She’s the best!!

Scam artists selling overpriced, defective merchandise! I bought a couch for around $1000 13 months ago, and the seams are starting to split. I don't have kids jumping on the couch, this is just splitting from sitting on it. You know, what you're supposed to do on a couch. What kind of a couch falls apart after a year? And for how much I paid? Now they're saying its $20 to send a technician out and $40 for repairs with no estimate for how much time it would take. I'm just going to sew it together myself. I'm going to repair my $1000 couch myself because this company wont stand behind the low quality, overpriced products they sell. Next time I need furniture, I'll drive to Ikea in Bloomington. Do not buy from these clowns.

Ashley Home got nice stuff for the parents room

I went in and was quickly greeted by Renee who asked what I was looking for. I explained my needs and she guided me to a couple options I may like. I then walked around by myself to see a few other options and then Renee found me again and asked if I had found anything else I liked. We spoke about a few of the options I had found and then she took down my number and let me know she would contact me if she saw anything come in that would fill my needs and handed me her card. Very helpful and I had an overall good experience.

The old woman “receptionist” judged me from the second I came in. Didn’t even give me a chance to say what I needed. I had just go off of work. I’m super disappointed in her attitude towards me.

I couldn’t believe how easy it was getting a new mattress with Ashley. And Shawn was so great to work with. If you are buying for family or children please look elsewhere. They sent bed without nuts and bolts then sent second time same as before. They tried leaving both bed frames we told them they had to take tuem, we recorded them taking it bc couldn't trust them. They said in 14 days we would get a return. It's been 3 weeks They keep calling for us to pick up the mattress for that bed frame and I just found out They never started our refund. It's over 800 dollars they are trying to just take from us. Glad family member have them recorded taking bed frame.

Shawn Hinks was amazing. He took the time to sit down and go over every possible option between 6 different matress and frame combos I was looking at. His low pressure sales approach made it feel like I was dealing with a friend and not a salesman. I would recommend Shawn at Ashley Sioux Falls everyday of the week and twice on Sunday! We actually drove 2.5 hrs to come back to buy from Shawn after visiting several different places throughout NE, IA, and SD.

My mom recently ordered a bedroom set and we are still missing a lot of the parts.It’s been more than six months.We paid right away and they said it would come in August and it’s JANUARY 2022.We have called multiple times for updates and they just keep saying it will come in the next month.There is this one lady that works there that always has an attitude.If you want people buying from your store then you should probably be respectful towards customers and not take 6 or more months to deliver bedroom sets.There was this one time we went in the store to check on it and he said we could return it if we wanted to.I’m like we didn’t just buy a bedroom set to then have someone tell us we can return it.😂

When we ordered our bedroom set furniture before Thanksgiving last year, the staff was very polite and gave us a date of when our furniture would be arriving. Fast-forward to the end of May where they are still missing one part of our bed frame and the manager was unable to give us a realistic date. The manager became very rude and attempted to place blame on us to the point where we decided to have a full refund and me leaving the store in tears. Being a nurse in this pandemic, I have had to deal with many challenges but I have never had a more terrible experience at a furniture store in my entire life.

Tina was excellent. Very friendly and solved a delivery issue quickly! I recommend Tina!

We had a great experience at Ashley Furniture in Sioux Falls. The staff is excellent and very caring. The delivery was flawless. The quality has been exceptional. We have used Ashley Furniture many times over the years, and we will continue to purchase furniture at Ashley.

Very nice and honest

Unbelievably disappointed. I would give negative stars if I could. The sales associate was great; however, that's where the good customer service ended. We were told we would have our new furniture delivered 4-6 weeks after the purchase date - it arrived in approximately 10-12 weeks. After enjoying it for maybe 2 months the ottoman sank in the center and one of the sectional cushions came apart at the seam. After about 5 calls, including being "disconnected", and sending photos, they sent a tech out to determine the seam separated... thanks.... he said he could either "repair" the seam (top front of the cushion - where everyone sees) or send a new cover... we made the obvious decision. That was early November. Considering their previous track record I was hopeful we would have the cover in time for our Christmas gatherings... it is now January 22nd. They did finally ship our cover after giving us 2 fake tracking numbers... the third time was a charm; however, they shipped it to some random address in a different state. Not the address that the furniture was delivered to or that the technician came to....?? I just now got off our 20th (light guess) call and they said it should be shipped soon... tracking number... nope... but they'll call me and let me know, just like every other call ends. DO NOT BUY FURNITURE FROM THEM OR ANY OF THEIR AFFILIATES.

The sales people are very polite and helpful but the furniture quality is very poor. We ordered a new couch. Upon unwrapping, I immediately found a nail sticking up out of the back. Fortunately I found it before our kids. Also, the backs on the sectional pieces do not align and the back fabric seam was already failing. Cheap. Cheap. Cheap. Will be returning as soon as possible.

The man asked if delivery in 2 weeks was ok, because all they had was the floor models. I said, "Well, he is 100 years old, so..." They do not sell the floor models, but his time, they did! The salesman did a great job with finding me a bed that fit my needs however I waited 2 weeks to have my bed delivered and left my Saturday open because I was told that I would receive a call 30 minutes prior to the delivery truck arriving at my house. After waiting until 1:00 pm I decided to call and check on my delivery only to find out that it was never scheduled for delivery and has been sitting in their distribution center. When I had asked what they could do to amend the situation they said I could wait another week to talk to someone and have it shipped then or pick it up myself. After talking to the manager found that they would be able to ship it to me the following day. At this point I still have yet to receive any sort of apology but rather I was given only excuses as to how it was not their fault and that I never ordered for delivery. Based on the way they seemed not to be very surprised or care about the situation I can only assume that this is a common occurrence. I am disappointed with the way this was handled. Edit: It is now the next day and I've been on the phone with them since 1:00. I was assured that it would be delivered today but there is no ETA. Now it's 5:00 and someone finally told me that the manager should have known not to promise delivery today because they said there is no way that it could be delivered today. The manager that set the delivery wasn't in his office so I haven't been able to get ahold of anyone that can do anything. So now I'm being forced to pick it up an hour before they close. Not to mention I have now wasted my entire weekend because of their empty promises and terrible customer service. I have never seen a place with such poor customer service. I would highly recommend buying from anywhere except for from here. After reading other reviews I have found that I am in fact not the only person to be treated this way. Edit: I was told that they left a message for the manager to call me back ASAP which was supposedly Monday at 10:00. It is now the end of the day Tuesday and I had to call them to leave another message for the manager.

Nice store. The sales personnel aren't pushy and very informative. I had a lot of questions and they answered them all!

They will not back their products. I purchased an ottoman in March that was broken and sunk in by August. I called and had a tech come out and "Fix" the issue. Within an hour it was right back to where it was. Called back and they cannot fix it beyond what it comes from the factory. I get that part but they did not fix it at all if it went right back to the same way within an hour. No replacement offered so I will continue to have a service person come 1.5 hours out of the way in order to fix it. Every week.

I just walked into the Ashley store and was literally the only customer. I passed by a counter with 6 associates and one of them greeted me, none of them offered to help. After browsing, I asked one of the associates for help. He didn’t respond and instead looked at another associate who then called over a radio for a third associate to come and help (note neither of the first two associates actually spoke to me). I asked the third associate my question and she showed me one option in my price range before stating that they didn’t have anything else when literally I had found another set in my price range by browsing for 5 minutes. In a time when we all make very specific choices about when and how to enter the world, that interaction sure didn’t make me feel like I was welcomed back! Yikes! I won’t be shopping there again!

Like there furniture

Bought my couch there almost a year ago. Very happy with it. Didn't find what I wanted today though. Still a great store.

Beyond disappointed in this place. Ordered a couch on the 5/31. Salesperson said it would be in on 6/9 and they would immediately call to set up delivery. 6/11 rolls around so I called to check up on it and they tell me that it will be in "sometime next week." Great, real specific. Today, 6/15, I get another call to tell me that my couch will not be in until 7/15! One whole month later! I said absolutely not, cancel my order and refund my money asap, fully intent on taking my business elsewhere. I get another call shortly thereafter, telling me that miraculously somehow the exact same couch I purchased is now available because another customer canceled their order so it is now in stock, but it can't be delivered for another 10 days. Seriously!?!?! This place is ridiculous. I will never consider spending another penny at this business and will tell everyone else I know not to, either.

Went to Ashley Home Store during the week and we were pretty much the only people there. A staff member made herself available to us right away and was helpful in pointing in us in the right direction. She did not hover but was in close proximity to answer all of our questions, which we appreciated. We found exactly what we were looking for within a few minutes and with a few alterations, it is to be delivered this weekend. If you are looking online, I highly suggest visiting the store as the actual listed prices at the store were lower than online, at least for what we were looking for. Thanks for everything!

2 stars because we like our new furniture at least what we have received so far. What should have been a fun and enjoyable event, getting new furniture has turned into a tedious frustrating headache. I understand things get back ordered sometimes but starting with the day we picked out our furniture we were told the computer shows it should be tomorrow when it gets here they will call you to see what will be a good time to set up delivery. Nope took two weeks then we got a voice mail telling when it would be delivered not asking. It was delivered. Delivery guys were great. The roll pillows for couch and loveseat weren't with them That took another 2 phone calls. The bench we ordered still isn't in, it's been a month and a half when we called guess what we were told? The computer shows it should be here tomorrow. Okay guess we will talk to you tomorrow. 2 more days went by with no contact. We were told 4 times that our bench would be here the first week of February. After the first week of February came and went we called again and were told it's on back order for another two weeks. We have had nothing but poor customer service from the store and from customer care. New development I responded to your desire to help and emailed you my contact information last week. Haven't heard from anyone. I hope no one else has been treated this way.

I had a great shopping experience. Had a nice sales lady and looked at all our options. I am not happy with our delivery of our sectional couch. We bought a brand new leather one and when they delivered it, two of the pieces had huge tears in them. They will exchange them but I expected better quality when spending a lot of money. Also I have to take time out of my work schedule to do the exchange delivery, which is very inconvenient.

I had a great furniture shopping and purchasing experience at Ashley in Sioux Falls. My salesperson was helpful, knowledgeable and fun. I found just what I what wanted and for a great price. I shopped all the other stores in Sioux Falls and have decided for my next furniture purchase I won't waste time in those stores, I'll go directly to Ashley.

Excellent customer service, especially with Brittani. She's helped my wife and I the last few times we've been there and we always walk out with more than we walking in for. She always does such a great job that we request for her to help us.

We worked with Adam in February 2017 to purchase new sectional seating for our home. He was absolutely wonderful! He was friendly, patient, helpful, and professional. He informed us of all promotions/sales, and he provided us with pricing information for all of the furniture we looked at, including several sectional pieces. With his help, we were able to put together the perfect arrangement for the room we were furnishing! We loved working with Adam!

My living room was in desperate need of a conplete make over. I didn't have any design plans so I visited a few furniture stores around town to get ideas. I saw a lot of nice furniture but struggled to find chairs, tables, & a couch that would look good together & fit within the space I have. I went into the Ashley store on a whim to take a look around when I met Brittni. I told her I was just looking because I didn't know what I really wanted or needed, other than a couch. She proceeded to help me design a room from scratch knowing only the room measurements & layout. She took the time to help me understand the pros & cons of the different types of couches, materials, how to coordinate colors, etc. We did laps around the store, getting ideas. After a few return trips to the store, I had a better idea as to what I was looking but couldn't make a final decision on anything because I couldn't visualize the final room, fully decorated. Brittni took the time to round up lamps, decorations, throw pillows, tables & put it all together in the store to help me see what it could look like. It was beautiful! I could have spent months trying to get everything right & it wouldn't have looked half as nice. Excellent design, beautiful furniture, and within my budget! Brittni did an amazing job guiding me through the whole process, answering questions, without any high pressure sales tactics. I left Ashley feeling confident that I had made a great investment & wouldn't regret the purchase after it was finally in my house. The delivery guys were very neat & took care in setting everything up just the way i wanted. All the staff at Ashley were very friendly & easy going. Great furniture @ a good price. I like the friendly service I received here and the furniture itself. My only problem was it's very pricey.

Decided to start looking at beds again. When i came into the store i was given a few minutes to look around without being harrassed by salesperson about products that i didnt know were too good. But thats when brittini stofferan came over and simply asked if we needed any assistance. She was pleasant and presented information in a manor i believe even the least educated could understand. While dicussing different scenarios about life and the trials a bed and room set would go through wed found 3 different sets. The discussions led us to a solid wood and sturdy constructioned bed frame. We were trilled with the set as it will save us in the long run. If in 10 years i will need any other products that would be warm and welcome.in my humble abode, i would see no one else in this store. Thank you brittini for your time. And patience with our decision making.

We worked with Tina over a two day period picking out a sofa/loveseat/recliner set. We had our 2 and 4 year old rapscallion-esque children with us on both occasions reeking havoc and she was polite and unfazed by their shenanigans. Worst, most stereotypical awful furniture experience of all time, please please please save yourself the nightmare and go to any of the multitude of other options in the area. Sales staff will mislead you about specials and pricing only to pull the ol bait and switch once you find something you like (on your own of course because they will be too busy chattering with each other around the front desk). Then, after picking a piece and just (correctly) assuming that all the mumbo-jumbo about percents off was not true about the piece we wanted, all I needed to know was how long it would take to pick the piece up if we did decide to purchase it, this was a deciding factor in our search as we had plans to entertain the following weekend. We knew this may limit our options but were willing to find something the we both liked and was readily available. Our sales person checked his little computer and told us with great joy that our piece was actually arriving that day and would be ready for pickup that evening or the next for sure. Im sure you can tell where this is heading, we have a bare living room and a sales staff that grows more and more rude and indignant as each day passes and we call inquiring as to when we can ever pick these pieces up, which have apparently been sitting in a semi in a parking lot just waiting to be unloaded for over a week now. Please, the furniture is just the same as every other place with the prices even a touch higher. The staff is rude and unhelpful and every dollar spent here is one you will regret.

I stopped in briefly to look for a new recliner after mine fell apart. A salesman named Spencer promptly asked if he could assist me. I really was just looking to learn about my options but I learned far more than I thought I would. Spencer was very knowledgeable about what was in stock, what they could order and what I would like/what would go with my current decor. I didn't buy anything that day but I will be back thanks to that salesman's quick responses and sincere smile. I hope all the staff is as professional as he.

I didn't actually purchase my sofa from Ashley. I purchased it from another couple that had previously purchased it from Ashley including the dresser and mirror. I'm very impressed with the quality and how well it has held up. I work with a company that works with Ashley and I'm very impressed with their customer service. 5/5 stars. Hoping to soon get in so I can purchase a new bedroom set for my son.

Horrible company to do business with. Both their website & their floor model of a media chest had the wrong size specifications listed. Get the product home & in the basement & it's much too large for the space I'm putting it in. Took an entire day for the company to figure out why this happened - they have the old model information online & on their floor model in the store. The old model was discontinued 2 years ago - why haven't they changed the information yet?! Was having a closet installed in a couple days so needed the oversized media chest removed immediately, was a hassle trying to get them to come pick it up & the company didn't offer any help in trying to save me as a customer. Not only did I waste time searching through their website to find my product (which ended up having incorrect information listed) but they put me days behind schedule for unpacking because they gave me the wrong product & took a couple days for them to finally come & get it out of my house. They didn't apologize for their mistake, they didn't do anything to try to keep me as a customer (I still needed to find a media chest & ended up going to a different furniture store), they always seemed confused & didn't have a clue what they were doing. They also seemed that way when I had went into the store to purchase the media chest - confused & aloof. I will never waste my time with this company again.

Wasted money on a DuraBlend Leather sectional a little over a year ago. The DuraBlend Leather is now cracked and brittle. Worthless product. Don't buy DuraBlend Leather.

Some people just like to complain. I had a great experience. I bought a beautiful coffee table set. I searched for 2 months to every store within a 100 mile radius. Finally found just what I was looking for, the sales lady wore red glasses..only was to give her some credit. Love the set, delivery was great and on time. The sales lady was great, and the next time I went in there she remembered me. Great place. I later recommend the store to my son who was looking for a couch. Thanks Kathy Ringgenberg Sioux Falls

Horrible service, I ordered and paid for two bedroom sets on February 18, was told by the manager that they would be in in three weeks, was available to have them delivered 21-25 March, finally got them delivered on April 6, with someone having to take time off work, which was not the agreement. Was lied to three different times, do not pay for something and then expect them to live up to their end of the deal. We will not be shopping there again and I would expect anyone reading this to be very leery of them!

One star for the company but the sales woman was very kind and helpful but she was new. In the end being unable to negotiate on a price and the fact that they charge for delivery made my experience a poor one. All the negotiations where done through the sales women's manager not her. I ended up going to Inwood Furniture where they where willing to negotiate with me and they do not charge any kind of delivery fees.
