I went to Ashley Furniture today and was assisted by Justin. He is an amazing human! Justin helped me decide on the best fabric for my couch and helped me find an area rug that would match. I could have talked to him all day!!! Thank you Justin for all the help!!!!

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at the Ashley store in Brentwood. What should have been a straightforward furniture purchase turned into weeks of frustration. From the beginning, there were unexpected fees that were not clearly explained, and communication with customer service became very difficult. We spent months trying to resolve issues with furniture that was delivered damaged, and getting clear answers about repairs or pickup was incredibly challenging. The most frustrating part was the lack of accountability. Instead of working toward a solution, we were repeatedly passed between departments without resolution. At one point, when we simply tried to get clarity on when the damaged furniture would be picked up, the interaction with management was dismissive and unprofessional. Ashley used to have a much stronger reputation, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Based on what we went through, I would strongly encourage anyone considering a purchase here to do very thorough research and proceed with caution. Ashley is a ghost of what the company formally was. Purchase at your own risk.

Great customer service, they work with us to accommodate our needs and never pressure to make a decision. Even when we made some changes to our original order it was promptly modify with no resistance.

Went shopping to buy a new mattress and came out with not only a new mattress and box springs, but a new bed and recliner. Fady was our sales rep and he was absolutely awesome. Knowledgeable and personable and was so fun to work with!

Before you buy any major piece of furniture here, check the dimensions section of the product description on their Web site. If the door into the room you want to put it in is narrower than the minimum width for delivery, keep looking. We didn't check first, and bought a sleeper sofa for our guest room then had to cancel the order when we found out it wouldn't fit through the door.

Jake was so helpful! He listened to understand what I was looking for both in terms of product and price and helped me get a great deal on furniture I love!

We bought a 3 piece leather sofa set and recliner. The padding did not stay in position on the center console of the loveseat exposing the edges of the wooden substructure. The fold down section of the large sofa has a cup holder/table top that fell off because the velcro take came off. The reclining lounge chair had a factory patch on it that started becoming visible after a short time exposing a hole in the leather. The surface of the leather started to wear off becoming discolored and rough. The sales man sold us on a $700 extra protection plan that he told us would cover anything from pet punctures, scrates and staining. He told us we would be dumb not to get it. We were dumb to buy anything from this store. We were suckered big time. Ashleys will of course deny it all. However all you have to do is just a little research om the internet to see what the consumers are saying about the quality of the products and the false warranty information. We made a $7500 mistake and now we are stuck with shitty furniture and claims denied in just a few minutes of submitting them. Buyer beware!!!!!

Unhappy with floor model mattress. I returned to store to see about an exchange and was told that there’s is a no return policy on this, since it was a clearance item. The mattress is worn out and after about an hour on it, I found myself sinking further and further. For the record, I returned the very next day after it was delivered. I don’t feel I was asking too much for an exchange. The mattress is defective.

Great experience. Let Shayne know what we were looking for, and he showed us what we requested with what was in our criteria without wasting our time with things that didn’t. Shayne was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. If you go to Ashley Furniture in Brentwood, ask for Shayne and you won’t be disappointed.

I spent a half day texting with a sales representative on an item. After they emailed me an attractive quote and we agreed on the "out the door" price, suddenly the price increased due to a "mistake" with no explanation and offered no flexibility to correct it. I was ready to finalize the purchase! However, then the rep stopped responding and no one from the store returned my call. I would have appreciated better customer service but I was completely stonewalled. We will not do business with this store again.

If they ask you “stage left or stage right” for a sectional BE SURE YOU HAVE A CLEAR UNDERSTANDING!! You CANNOT exchange or return it!! So now I have a great couch but it’s blocking main tracking areas. And do NOT rely on being able to communicate with the delivery people. They will tell you not to sign if something is wrong but the delivery guys DO NOT speak English!! I had 2 separate deliveries for my sectional & out of 4 guys who delivered the couch only 1 mildly spoke English. So good luck explaining to them why you won’t sign. I absolutely LOVE the couch!! I’m hoping to be able to work with the space issue but once you leave the store, you’re on your own so be sure that you are 100% clear on what you purchased, like double triple check it b/c I thought I had a clear understanding & obviously I didn’t and I’m not an idiot. I take responsibility for ordering something a little too big but I feel like it’s their job to ensure customers understand exactly what they’re purchasing & that all sales are FINAL, no exchanges or returns are possible. Just have Google translate downloaded and ready. Hindsight is 20/20!!

This is a very friendly store. Especially in comparison to other Ashley’s I’ve been to. The whole sales helped make sure I got what I wanted at the price I wanted. I will be returning to this location for all my furniture needs because I know they will treat me right.

Went looking for a recliner. Our salesman was not pushy and let us look. His name was Michael Harris. We told him what we were looking for and he showed us several different ones and told us if we had any questions he would be there. He gave us space so we could talk about which one we wanted. Would highly recommend.

Customer service team doesn’t tell you how to set up an account for payments. They just want you to sign off on a piece of furniture and get you out the door and move onto the next customer.

Selection was excellent hitting all price points with several options for high performance material useful when you have pets. Chad was very knowledgeable and helpful, showing us the different options but listening to our needs and budget. Payment process using the 0% finance special was quick and easy, as well as set up to delivery. Great shopping experience! We are hoping the quality is as good as the customer service we received from Chad.

We really appreciated the detailed communication of our order, updates of the delivery and the ability to track the delivery the day of. Also, the two gentlemen who delivered the table were very friendly and thorough. The whole experience was very positive!

We ordered some wall art and the salesman told us it would be delivered in two weeks. Today marked week three so we called and were told delivery would be December 15th. That's two months. Had we known this, we probably wouldn't have ordered the art.

I recently purchased two chairs from Ashley Furniture and I’m very happy with the pieces themselves — they’re beautiful and will fit perfectly in my home. The store has a great selection of furniture and I would certainly shop there again. Unfortunately, my experience with the salesman was disappointing. He was condescending and pushy throughout the interaction. While looking at patio chairs, he made a snarky remark pointing out that they were “for outside,” as if we didn’t already know. It came across as rude and unnecessary. I love the store’s products, but I would avoid working with this particular salesman in the future. He wore a “presidential club 2024 nametag . I think his name was Michael.

Delivery driver scratched walls and was unprofessional. One furniture item had to be sent back.The only reason why there is an extra star is because the customer service person Jasmine, who handled our return was absolutely phenomenal.

Don’t shop here. We were told if we dont like the mattresses we bought we have 90s days to return. Now they claim they never said that and we could only exchange it. Total bait and switch.

Store prices are higher than what you’ll find online. Honestly, save yourself the hassle and skip the showroom. They even brought in a manager to offer a “mega discount,” which wasn’t really worth it. Overall after shipping, taxes and everything I ended up paying more than 80 dollars by paying in person. The installers were not careful and did not have the correct tools or bits. Their power drill ran out of battery during the installation, and they used the wrong size and type of bit, stripping and scoring the bolt heads. Several bolts were left loose, and the chairs were left crooked. Additionally, 2 out of 6 chairs required extra material because the adjustable rod was not long enough. Overall, the setup was sloppy and unprofessional.

Professional quick service at delivery!

Edit: Changing my 1 star review to a 5 star review because Ashley’s customer service team quickly resolved our issue and the sleeper part of our sectional was delivered today and we are very happy with it! Went to Ashley over Labor Day weekend to buy a new sleeper sectional. Rebecca Day was the sales associate who helped me. I knew exactly what I wanted so we immediately sat down together and she started ringing up the order. I told her repeatedly that I wanted the sleeper sectional. Fast forward several days and the couch gets delivered to my house and it is not the sleeper. My husband immediately got on the phone with customer service to let them know there was a problem with our order. The person he spoke to said the store we bought the couch from (cool springs) would contact us within 24 hours. It’s been 2 days and we haven’t heard anything. I’m super frustrated because the associate asked me several times if I wanted the sleeper sectional but upon further investigation of the sales order it looks like she rang it up as the regular sectional without the sleeper. Not sure if there’s anything that can be done now and I’m very disappointed because this was clearly the sales associate’s error and I reiterated countless times to her that I wanted the sleeper and now I don’t have anywhere for guests to sleep when they come to my house.

Bought a new queen mattress and Deondre handed us off to Shayne in the bed area - great tag team and Shayne knew his stuff! Both very professional and informative!

This was our first time shopping at Ashley. What a great experience. Lovely furniture at great prices. The sale person named Doug at the store in Franklin was so friendly and so helpful. He matched the online deal that we found online. He even drove us back to our car where we parked a bit further away. We highly recommend this store.

Great experience at this store. We bought our previous living room set here and I was pleased to see the staff is just as friendly as before. We were immediately greeted by Deondre and he did a great job of checking in on us periodically while we looked around. Last month I purchased a king bedroom set for my myself and a queen bed set for my mom. I paid cash for most of it and financed the rest. The sales lady was nice and all but when it came down to pay she said the only finance option was 6 month and i found out that was a lie. Nevertheless i went forward with the purchase but the same day I asked her to cancel the mirror off the order bc i didn’t need it, as I have a TV over my dresser. Well the delivery guys bought it anyway and refused to take it back. I complained to her about it and she assured me she would have it removed by her manager Nathan. I went in there and called multiple times to have them continue to lie and say it was refunded. The last visit i spoke with Andy/Andrew who assured me that he would handle it. Still no credit on my account. They are straight up hustlers in there, they have no morals or ethical values whatsoever. Oh and Savannah was the sales lady. My last text to her she replied and said she was no longer with Ashley, it probably was a lie too. I will never buy from them again.

I recently had a disappointing experience at the Ashley Furniture store in Brentwood that I feel compelled to share. I visited the store in search of a firm mattress for my in-laws, who were coming to stay with us. A sales representative named Deondre Moore assisted me, but unfortunately, none of the mattresses met our firmness requirements. When I inquired about a specific mattress I found online, Mr. Moore assured me it was the firmest option available. He also mentioned a 72-hour return policy, stating that if we were not satisfied, the mattress could be picked up from our home at no additional charge. Trusting his word, I placed an order through the store. The mattress took over a week to arrive at the Smyrna warehouse. After picking it up on August 1 and trying it at home, I found it did not meet the expected firmness. I called Mr. Moore to express my concerns and ask about the return process. He directed me to the guest response team, but when I called them, I was informed that there is no return policy for mattresses, which contradicted what I had been told. I then contacted the corporate office, where I was again told that I had been misled by the store representative. I requested to speak with a supervisor but was told none were available and that I would receive a callback. Unfortunately, I have yet to hear back. This experience has left me feeling frustrated and deceived. I urge potential customers to be cautious and avoid making a purchase based on promises made by store representative. Transparency and integrity in sales practices are crucial, and I hope Ashley Furniture addresses my concerns.

We ordered a set of six chairs from Ashley furniture. We were told that there was some in stock, but the rest would have to be ordered. We agreed and they charged our credit card only to find out that they had no idea if and when they would ever come in.

Our family is dealing with a family member who is entering the hospice phase of his life. Needless to say stress is an all day every min̈ute issue. We needed a bed in a hurry and Ashley via David stepped up and provided courteous, friendly, professional service! I live in Florida and don't really know the Brentwood area of Nashville very well. David worked with me and he was able to set the delivery for the only time available to me. Thank you David!!

This was the worst experience I have ever had. Purchased furniture with them online, and was told by the delivery drivers they couldn't fit it through my door. Okay my fault with the measurements. Figured I'll take the return credit and shop in store to make sure I have the right size. I go in store and sit for HOURS getting the return processed and picking out furniture. I'll admit I was hesitant picking a new selection due to sizing (getting in the door), but the salesperson GUARANTEED me delivery stating "the online warehouse uses a different delivery team, our guys will get that in for you for sure (remove legs...etc) and set up for you" don't worry. She was great at calming my nerves. Made the sale... Date of delivery, the SAME delivery team shows up, and guess what??? They say the furniture can't fit. Of course I'm highly upset. Guess who I can't get on the phone? I can't reach the store or the salesperson. When I finally reach someone by selecting the new sales option (Ha) on the phone, he tells me everyone is with a customer. Then, he asks me what am I trying to accomplish?? Hello!! Get my furniture!! Ashley Furniture just lost a customer.. Buyer beware...

The delivery of the couch was tough. The purchase experience was good, but there was an incident at the store where they didn't put my phone number correctly (I didn't double check it, so on me). So on day of delivery I didn't get any confirmation, no email and obviously they couldn't get in contact with me due to wrong number. Luckily I checked the receipt and was able to call them to change my phone number, they were helpful on the phone but my delivery was still delayed two days. On day of delivery they moved my delivery time 3 times, which was frustrating. I called again to get an update, and while the person on the phone was super nice, they were ultimately unhelpful with the situation, which is understandable. The delivery people were very fast and kind, but accidentally dropped the couch on the stairs which left the bottom cut up a little bit, but didn't harm the utility or cosmetics of the couch. Ultimately it was a frustrating experience. But the quality of the couch is nice and the workers were just doing their best. Would rather give this experience a 3.5, not good enough for a 4, but not bad enough for a 3...

Dave was our sales person. He was More focused on making a sale than really helping us. He was at times rude and a little condescending. We asked about free delivery, which he told us was not available, however, we saw an ad on TV that evening touting free delivery. While my husband and I were discussing the purchase privately, he came back and offered the warranty for no additional charge. My husband & I are customer service people. We believe that Dave needs more training Ultimately he didn’t make the sale, we gave it to him so that we didn’t have to come back and work with someone else.

I have spent A LOT of money at the Ashley Furniture Store in Cool Springs in the last couple of months because of my move. As you walk in the door everyone vies for your attention because it’s a potential “sale” for them. I dealt with one person in particularly then two. Furniture I had picked out for my bonus room ended up being too big to fit through the door leading into the room. After scuffing my walls and baseboards they sent a third party to “fix” the damage. Poor communication, pointing fingers at who’s not responsible and lack of caring, I ended up using my brother who is more experienced and a professional (he’s a home builder). My walls and baseboards look brand new. About two months later, I contacted the one individual about the status of a piece of furniture I was waiting on .. his reply was,” I will take a look at it when I get some free time”. I was surprised at that response and based on that I said,” That’s ok, I’ll call instead.” Never heard back. I will never do business with Ashley Furniture Store again. They make you feel at home and take care of you in the store because of a potential purchase but their lack of customer care is non existent. Havertys Furniture Store is in the same parking lot, they are professional, accommodating and always follows up with a phone call about their product and my satisfaction. I wish I could give this a “zero” out of 5 rating but it won’t allow me, 1 star is to generous.

We walked into the store a little after 9:00 this morning. We were met immediately by Michael. I told him the five items we were looking for and that we are now living in a fairly small senior living apartment. He led us directly to the items we needed, helped to measure to be sure they would fit, put no pressure on us to buy, gave us color or pattern options when applicable and was generally very helpful. We were out of the store by 9:45 very happy with our purchases. He made the whole process so easy for us! At ages 77 & 81 that was much appreciated!

I will never do business with Ashley Furniture again. I'd rather buy yard sale furniture. We bought a sofa that wouldn't fit up the stairs and they told us that they have no way of accepting a return. We had another piece of furniture that rocked because the legs weren't even and I had to fight like hell to get them to load it back on the truck, then remind them a couple of times to return my money. How this place remains in business is baffling. Update: this review triggered a call from Ashley, who confirmed that this is how they do business. Not only do I not recommend Ashley furniture, I recommend that nobody do business with Ashley furniture. Complete lack of integrity. Check out my review of Sprintz furniture. I ordered a king-size mattress and they delivered the wrong mattress. The numbers didn't match the Item # on the order slip. It was a different mattress than I ordered. I went down to the store and spoke with my salesman Jacob Long and he apologized and fixed it to swap out the mattress. The truck would be out in a timely manner to make the switch. Andrew was very helpful! He showed us a few things based on our interests and then gave us plenty of time and space to explore in the showroom. We were trying to fill a livingroom space in our new home, so we bought several items, finding all we needed.

Update: reduced stars Store associate David was so helpful and accommodating to my order request! But - try dealing with their customer service! I ordered a table through a store employee. When I needed help, A different store employee directed me to contact customer . In short: When the table arrived, it was disappointing so I sent it back. While they promised to issue a refund in three days, they still haven’t. The customer service is a nightmare to deal with. They say they’re going to respond to you, but they take hours to reply and when they do, it’s the same generic reply of “let me look into it….” If you want cheap quality furniture And you know you’re never going to return it - then this is your place.

Great customer service experience

Bad service , the manager is rude even does not know how to provide a great customer service to finalize the order , even if $40 less what we agreed for he should keep us happy with the deal. We are Not going there anymore in that location and that manager needs to get more training how to deal and provide a good customer service. Not recommended to deal with this location!

Placed order on May 3 with no issue, paid, & planned delivery/set up on May 17th. On May 17th we weren’t told a delivery time until day of which is fair enough. However, delivery was being finished up when the delivery men called my husband outside due to our bed frame side slats being clearly broken. They said we would have to call to get replacements. We immediately called and were told we could pick up at the soonest May 20th. We no longer have availability at this point for delivery due to our work schedules and unclear delivery times. My husband picks up the slats on May 20 and realized the delivery men did not leave the hardware or support slats required to complete the bed. We again call Ashley customer service and the store reports we could receive it at the soonest 7-10 business days. We reluctantly agreed, but heard nothing back so may 28th we call again and are told the order was never placed. They again place another order saying 7-10 business days. I call back June 4th and get told it will not be delivered until mid June. At this point it is ridiculous the communication and poor customer service resolving what should be a fairly simple problem that was caused by Ashley. At this point we still have no email or text regarding the order. I only have a number from the customer service for when I call back. June 7th box arrives with 1 support plank and the hardware. We needed 5 support planks and support beams. Not only did we not receive the incorrect beams and number of planks but the length of the planks were for the wrong size bed. We decided at this point to go to the Ashley warehouse where they immediately assisted us. The only true help we received. The Franklin store itself was of no assistance and only gave us the number to originally call. If you use them I would hope that you receive everything correctly on the first day or you will be put through hours of additional stress from the process.

Went in yesterday to check out patio furniture and had a great experience. David the salesman and his manager Nathan went above and beyond and made the entire purchasing process so easy and pleasant. I got great service and pricing and left with exactly what I wanted for my back patio. Sam was also super helpful and very knowledgeable and helped me pick out a new TV for the back patio as well. Thank you!

Overall satisfied with my service, ordered a new mattress and the team delivered it and took the old mattress with no problem. Our sales rep Shane was patient and not pushy and we were very very much appreciated that The only thing that could’ve made this five star experience was setting better expectations regarding the delivery date. Our delivery was rescheduled five times, but ultimately we got our mattress within an appropriate window.

Extremely disappointed with the service. Items were not delivered in a timely manner, and it was nearly impossible to speak with anyone in management over the phone. A salesperson claimed he didn’t sell me a marked-down item, when in fact he did—he just failed to mark it as sold. As a result, another customer purchased it, and they had to scramble to locate it in the warehouse. Customer service was consistently poor, both in-store and through their 1-800 number. No one made an effort to resolve the issue or go the extra mile. Instead, they expected me to prove my case—even with a valid receipt. Overall, a very frustrating and unprofessional experience.

Overall the experience went fairly well. However when my wife was signing financing documents the salesperson became unethical. When going over the final costs associated with the final purchase amount on his IPad he would not enlarge the pricing so we could see what he was charging. My wife “assumed” the salesperson was honest and signed the forms. Once we got to the car with the hard copy invoice it was discovered that a $800.00 protection plan was added without disclosure to either of us at the point of sale. I called the store immediately. I spoke with the salesperson about this and doubled down that my wife requested this to be added which was absolutely FALSE! After getting extremely upset by this I requested the $800 be removed or I was driving back to the store to speak with his manager! The charge was taken off immediately after I made the request! Buyer beware! Obvious this clown is paid by commission and willing to take unethical risks!

Bill had 0.00 white glove delivery fee but then charged 459 in small print. When questioned that also said they don’t allow pickups so only way to get furniture. Also tried to sneak in a protection plan for $1000. Very much a bait and switch.

Michael is wonderful! I went in twice and he helped me both times. The first visit was to scout out sofa options. The second visit was to look at a sofa one more time and potentially buy. He remembered me and what I was looking for. He was informative and helpful, but not pushy and allowed me to look and evaluate on my own, too. I ended up buying a chaise sectional and a bed frame and bedside table that I happened to like and need. He worked with the manager to get me an amazing deal that fit my budget. All items were available for delivery within 1-2 weeks. I highly recommend him and this location!

Don't buy anything from Ashley - they wont take back a rug that we ordered (still wrapped in the packaging) - the picture on the website did not accurately reflect what was delivered. The amount of time I have spent trying to deal with customer care and the sales person just to get a $400 rug returned is ridiculous. They also delivered the rug and another item to the wrong address. It is almost impossible to get anyone one the phone - the crazy piano music that they make you listen to while waiting almost seems like it is designed to make you hang up. In addition to the rug color issue - the chest we ordered was damaged (Ashley did provide us a credit for the damage). Who doesn't do returns, especially when it is something that is not accurately depicted?? buyer beware - stay away!!

Bought a full warranty on all our furniture only to find out when trying to to use it our salesman lied it does not cover anything on the furniture at all, when calling the store all they said was sorry it will not cover anything, we ended up up replacing the base and support ourself, the couch is not used much at all, beware don’t waste money on there products or furniture they will lie to you, this photo is after we repair it ourself

We came in having done research ahead of time and had a few options we wanted to try out. Michael was extremely helpful in pointing us toward some we'd missed based on what we were looking for! Just looking around without some direction and assistance would have resulted in major decision fatigue early on. On site pricing was even better than online and the selection was fantastic. We're still waiting for our new couch, but expect it to be here in a few days; the floor model looked to be of very good quality and came with a good guarantee. Overall it was a great experience, and we'll be considering Ashley Furniture in future for our furniture needs.

I needed the furniture delivered no later than Wednesday as my kids were coming to visit. They promised multiple times that it would be delivered and in two orders. I confirmed both deliveries on Tuesday and was told that they would be delivering it before 12:30 on Wednesday. It's now 5:30 and only half the order was delivered. I called up and they told me the couches never made it on the truck and that I wouldn't be getting my furniture on time. I now don't have a way to take care of my kids all day and will have to go from spot to spot tomorrow, while trying to celebrate Valentine's day with my little girls. Way to go Ashley!

Do yourself a favor and do NOT shop here!!! (New update after just 25 minutes of the original post due to a generic response from the Ashley team...) If you MUST shop at Ashley, try the one in 100 Oaks. The staff there is at least friendly and competent. Allow me to share my experiences: I lost my home in the Nashville 2020 tornado and needed to replace much of my furniture... so: 1) We bought a couch that was delivered filthy and damaged. It happens. We reported it at the time of delivery. They sent repair teams, only for none of them to show up but report back that they did. 2) Because of the failed repairs, we exchanged it for a different couch altogether. There was a price difference. They would not give back the difference (new couch was less). So we added a swivel chair to make up the difference. Swivel chair was NEVER delivered and held up the couch being delivered by months. So they canceled that chair so the couch would be released and delivered. Nobody, to this day, can explain how the expenses balanced out. Multiple people from multiple stores agree a refund is owed, but none of them will honor it and do it. It gets routed to DSG Escalations. More on that later. 3) New couch is delivered; the team dragged the couch across my wood floor and left scratches all across it. Had to get Ashley to pay for that. Fast forward one year, we have ZERO intact cushions. They have all fallen completely apart. I have the warranty on it. The warranty team wont honor it because the damage is so extensive?? despite every issue with it is covered. Fortunately, the 100 Oaks team has stepped in to help make this right. We have 2 of the 6 cushions replaced and waiting on others... so TBD. 4) Against all logic, decided to get a storage bed frame and mattress there. Frame was delivered and assembled... broken. Had to get a replacement drawer. 5) We initially got an adjustable frame. Team at Ashley stated it would fit nicely inside the frame and be nominally taller. In reality it sits on TOP of the frame and made the mattress over 4.5 feet tall. It was absurd. Had to return it, of course. Therein was ANOTHER chaotic issue. 6) We have dealt with several managers and staff at the store, all of which continue to agree on the same thing. All claim to have submitted for our refund, but every time it goes to be processed, someone cancels it. 7) DSG Escalations then gets involved. They are very dismissive. They continue to fail to be able to produce any clarifications or documentation. They continue to fail to answer any questions clearly... like what the price differences are. The escalation team has routinely been rude and dismissive and seem to be dragging this out as long as possible so that they can avoid any responsibilities. This has been ongoing for 2 years. The only competent and painless purchase we have ever successfully had with Ashley was done online and it was for the platform board we then used to replace the adjustable mattress base. Avoid this store at all costs. UPDATE on 4Feb2025: 25 Minutes after posting this review, the Ashley team responded with a standard generic response. Instead of addressing it directly, they provided the number to ... you guessed it... the DSG Escalation Team. Which has NO IDEA how to handle and deal with any responses. Left hand not talking to the right hand would be a welcomed experience here. Instead, it's this constant unwillingness to accept responsibilities and address the issue in a clear and fair way. This is just another highlight of the absolute nightmare and headache that is Ashley furniture. Two years of this same generic runaround responses. TWO YEARS and they still can't get on the same page and communicate properly to get this resolved.

I would give a "0" Star but I only have 1 star option here. I had the absolute worst experience with Ashley Home Store. I purchased a TV on December 6, 2024 (Order #015F167220) along with some furniture, and what followed about the TV was nothing but frustration and terrible customer service. Delivery Disaster: The TV was delivered on December 16 without any prior scheduling or notification. Instead of a proper delivery, it was left outside in front of my garage in the rain. No call—just dumped there like trash. I understand that this was not Ashley's fault but the carrier's fault. Horrible Customer Service: I immediately called Ashley's customer service, but no one answered. I left a voicemail that was never returned. I also reached out to the salesperson, who sold me the TV. He assured me that he will report the issue and advised me not to open the package because a replacement would be sent. Lies & Delays: I waited weeks without any updates. Every time I reached out to the salesperson, he said to get back to me or someone will call me etc. After two weeks he told me to contact their customer service. When I finally got a response from Angel at customer service, I was told that a replacement would be sent only after they received the damaged TV—which was never mentioned before. Returned the TV, Still No Replacement or Refund: I followed their instructions and returned the TV via SAIA PRO#107955***** on January 14, 2025. Per tracking, Ashley received the return by January 20. But despite multiple follow-ups, they never shipped my replacement or processed my refund. Now, no one is responding to me. At this point, I had no choice but to contact my bank and dispute the charge. Ashley Home Store took my money, failed to deliver a working product, and then completely ignored me when I asked for help. I would strongly caution anyone considering a purchase from Ashley Home Store. Their lack of accountability, poor communication, and refusal to resolve issues make for a terrible shopping experience. Think twice before spending your hard-earned money here. I wanted to add these: - The salesperson, Michael Ghally, that sold these items to me was very professional. He responded all my questions. He was very helpful. I was able to reach out to him even if he was not working at that time. He helped me to address the problem I got with the TV. I have no complaint about him and I am giving 5 stars to him. - The issue here is the customer service experience after I got a problem with a delivery. - Ashley owner, this is to you. You mentioned a number on your response below. I have already given all my information. Why I am STILL required to reach out to someone to address my concerns? This makes no sense. All I need is a refund at this point since the payment dispute with bank is still pending. Problem is obvious. Solution is obvious. It is simple. Do not make it complicated. Just solve it. UPDATE / Feb 4 I just heard from my bank and finally got reimbursed! Two months of nothing but frustration.

We recently purchased twin XL bed rails, a headboard/footbaord, mattress, and box spring for my son from this store, and unfortunately, the experience has been very disappointing. The delivery, originally scheduled for 12/30/24, was delayed until 1/14/25 due to a backorder. While delays happen, we understood and waited patiently. However, upon delivery, we discovered the salesperson had ordered the wrong size bed rails. Now, we have to wait until 2/8/25 for the correct rails, which is incredibly frustrating. Additionally, when purchasing the bed, we discussed the haul-away policy with the salesperson, who assured us it was a one-to-one service: buy a bed, and the old one would be removed. On delivery day, the team refused to take the old bed, saying haul-away service was never requested. I’ve since called customer service, but they said there’s nothing they can do, even though we’ll be having another delivery for the correct rails. This has been a disorganized and frustrating process, and the lack of accountability and proper service is unacceptable. I would not recommend this store based on our experience.

I went to the store and purchased an order for pick-up. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to request a cancellation the following day. It's now been over a week, and I still haven't received my refund. I've been following up multiple times, and each time I'm told a supervisor will call me, but I’ve never received any call. It’s extremely disappointing to see such poor customer service and a lack of urgency in processing refunds. This experience feels like an attempt to withhold money rather than resolve the issue efficiently. I hope this is addressed promptly, and the refund is processed without further delay.

Ashley charged me for “white glove delivery service” and their drivers destroyed my yard, security system and garden. When I reached out to Ashley about the damages, they said they’re not responsible for the delivery. There are 3 furniture stores in that plaza, I highly recommend the other two. In store experience was good. However I called the store probably 10 times over tha past 3 days and pressed option 5 and not one time did anyone answer at the store. To be honest if anyone else would have had the product we wanted we would have gone somewhere else for this reason alone.

Products are good but the sales team did not seem to really know what to do. We were the only people in the store and no one greeted us for 10 minutes because they were all on their phones or watching tv. When I made my purchase, they were always having to call someone to be able to get approval for matching their own Ashley.com online price and even honoring their own discount codes. Not an overall pleasurable experience.

Quick service. MacKenzie greeted us quickly. Found the item we wanted but it was not available until after Christmas. She found a similar item that we liked even more and got a good price for us. Easy purchase and will be delivered when we need it.

One star because I had the displeasure of dealing with a man named Doug while I was there. He spoke to me in the most degrading way a person has ever spoken to me. Thankfully we were helped by the nicest girl ever (shoutout to Mackenzie!!) who we ended up buying the couch from. But, Doug’s attitude was so disgusting I almost turned around and left after he was rude to me. Go see Mackenzie and avoid Doug at all cost! The craziest part is Doug’s coworker came and apologized to me on Doug’s behalf because he overheard the conversation and didn’t want me to think that’s how Ashley furniture holds themselves!

Waited 6 weeks for new table. When delivered, found out it needs repair. They ordered part which was delivered to home and now need to wait 5 weeks to have technician come repair. This is ludicrous! Never again.

I'm a first-time buyer. I recently bought the Tanavi 5-Piece Modular Sectional with the help of Mackenzie. At first we were nervous because we've had bad sales experiences before but my sister and I were so relieved when we met Mackenzie. She was kind, bubbly, and around our age, which made the experience even more comfortable. She knew all the details about pricing, sizing, and delivery, and never once did we feel pressured. Instead, she helped guide us, especially when deciding on the protection plan by sharing her own experience. We were able to complete the purchase easily over the phone, feeling supported and heard throughout the whole process. We’ll definitely be back, and can't wait to work with her again! She's awesome!

Unfortunately, this location practices unethical sales behaviors. My mom went in to buy a new queen bed and bedding on Tuesday. She was told the bed would arrive Friday and be setup for her. Well Friday came and went. Then it was rescheduled. She calls the sales rep and gets no response. Texts him no response. Calls the store. Told the sales rep will reach out. Still no response. Goes to the store and cancels her order. Then the sales rep calls her and refuses to help her return the bedding. Mind you it was was still within the return period. Now no one will help her, it’s been a month and the sales rep told her “well maybe if you didn’t cancel your order I could have helped you.” Now my mom is stuck with needing she doesn’t have a use for since she doesn’t own a queen bed. They refuse to help or provide customer service. The manager refused to talk to her and told the sales rep to handle it… this is mind boggling. So my mom has to keep $800 worth of crap because a sales rep got his feelings hurt she cancelled the order.

If there was a 0 star option the service would definitely rate it. I ordered a desk from this location over a month ago. When I received the desk it was missing the right leg assembly and had two left leg assembly’s instead. Because of this the desk could not be properly put together. The delivery team who is a third party and neither spoke English did not realize this and I had to point it out. They called someone from delivery who could talk to me and I explained what was happening. I was later contacted by Ashley to order the part I needed. And upon receiving the delivery I now have 3 left leg assembly’s. I informed them of this and they notified me they would order a whole new desk and then I was informed it was discontinued. They told me I would have to select another. I went to the store and the regional manager was there and he sent an email to higher and said I would hear back from someone to get my issue resolved. A week later nothing so I go into the store to get a refund and am told it can’t be refunded since it was delivered. One of the members of the staff actually kind of laughed it off and was no help at all in providing any aid except to keep saying no one in the store would have access to do anything for us. From all the other staff running away hearing what was going on I don’t believe any of them actually knows how to do anything but process an order and take your money. Mike one of their new guys who had actually sold it to me originally was very nice and helpful just still learning. But the rest of the staff seemed very uneasy and foreign to any kind of problem. I left the store with nothing more than a number to call their guest services team which the employee who kept pushing us out made an unprofessional joke about they used to have one in store but even getting paid 25 an hour they couldn’t keep anyone. I’d say with Ashley’s policies and the other reviews I’ve seen on here I wouldn’t want to hold that job either. Can’t do anything for customers anyway. I called the number and they are searching to find me legs for both sides to order in hopes I will get the right one. But as far as the store goes do not go there. If anything goes wrong they will be totally useless to help you in anyway.

After a rocky start, they are working to resolve all issues. Areas of improvement lie in the following: 1) make it abundantly clear that there is a no return policy 2) make sure the delivery people are invested in the process. They leave quickly because they have to make their next delivery quota. 3) rename white glove service to something else. Furniture is dusty/dirty/scuffed and not 100% setup as the service implies and as it was explained. Issue with delivery not being made at the same time prohibits someone from determining if the selected items will fit. While they are in the process of fixing the issue, I will reserve rating with additional stars once it’s all said and done.

Great furniture, nice staff. The delivery and the notification process is terrible. Waiting for almost a month for my bed, sleeping on the mattress. Some people are calling from the warehouse and asking what color of bed I ordered. 3 times they changed the delivery date. The chat bot provides the totally wrong information. Told me to pick the mattress in Smyrna and when I arrived they said that someone is already delivering it. Now I have the email from another person saying that items were listed as faulty. Whole system is not synchronized. Worst experience. Update: They finally delivered it. But something was missing they said. So I just refused to receive it. Will ask a refund on Monday, they don't do refunds on Saturday

We had a good experience with everyone at Ashley when we purchased our furniture. The furniture was going to Oxford MS, 2 months out. Saturday before the furniture was to be delivered, I was notified the mattress was backordered. I spoke with Deondre in the Brentwood store and got another mattress ordered. He took the time and initiative to make sure the mattress was in the warehouse and that it got put on the same delivery as our furniture. He was so professional and helpful. Truly Great Customer Service!!

Went in to Ashley’s just to look around at sofas. Not planning to buy, just browsing. Kole was a great help! He pointed us to the part of the store where we’d find examples of what we were looking for based on a vague description we gave him. He didn’t follow us and pressure us. He did check back with us occasionally, offering to answer any questions, again, with no pressure. We actually ran into something we loved and was actually different than what we thought we were looking for. It also so happened that Ashley’s was having a nice sale. It was certainly a win for us! And Kole was great to work with! We’d go back again!!

Absolutely pathetic customer service from top to bottom. I ordered a sectional and ottoman in April. The sectional was delivered with no problem but the ottoman was not delivered until two weeks later and was stained all over and completely dirty. I have had to call over 20 times to get this rectified. They ended up sending me new fabric, but then I needed to call them and schedule a tech to come replace it. After doing so, they randomly cancelled the day before due to a scheduling error and I was told that I needed to call and reschedule rather than them calling me to rectify their mistake.

Walked into the store - looked at by a salesman - looked at me like I didn't belong in the store. Walked back to the kids area, after another salesman saw me, stood there for 15 minutes, and no one asked how they could help. Yes, I should have taken it upon myself to find someone, but the greeting I received upon entering the store was not welcoming, and made it seem like they did not care about making a sale.

I was not greeted from the five (5) Sales staff that were standing around when I initially walked in the store. However, the family that walked in right behind me was greeted immediately. Unfortunately, I did not look quite like them which may or may not be the reason why I was not properly greeted. When I shared this information with the store manager he just passed me over to another sales person and instructed that individual to sell me something. I eventually ended up making a purchase which I have not been satisfied with. I went back to the Ashley store in Brentwood TN where I made my initial purchase to make a return and get a refund. I was immediately greeted and turned away at the door. I was instructed by the showroom sales staff that all sales are final and that I needed to rcontact customer service. I contacted customer service just to end up being passed around and placed on extended holds. I returned back to the Ashley store. I informed the manager that I attempted to contact customer service once again but they kept placing on hold or asking me to leave my number for a call back. Unfortunately, I was never contacted with regards to my need for help. The manager on duty turnef me away again and told me to text customer service instead of calling because the response time would be much better. As one could imagine extremely frustrated by this time plus I'm still waiting to be contacted in order to get my issues resolved prior to my 30 days expiring. I have never experienced such horrible customer service in the way that I've been treated by Ashley furniture and their sales team. T Howlett

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Came in to buy a sofa for my apartment and Doug assisted me. These franchise owned stores have these “sales” and it makes you feel like you’ve saving money; however, if you look online, the prices are way lower. These places and this Ashley did meet the online price but they wouldn’t provide a sale as they said the online discount is the sale. Doug also failed to mention they had a BOGO. I did buy furniture but when I found this out I cancelled my order within 12 hours. Ashley only cares about ripping off people. What happened to caring about customers and giving them the best deal? I guess commissions come first. Please do your research before if you choose to come to another Ashley store.

This is absolutely the worst furniture I have ever purchased. My couch is bent. My dining room chairs are falling apart and uneven. My bedroom furniture is cheap quality, and my drawers on my dresser, footboard and chest drawers do not work. I called and they refused to take care of any of it. They sent a repairman that said it can’t be fixed! I spent several thousand dollars. This is ridiculous.

It was great customer service, didn't have the bedroom set I wanted but I was showed one that looked like the want I wanted.the young gentleman was great, so nice. Very happy when I left.
