The day I bought my furniture I had a great experience but everything after the sale has been trash, I’ve been waiting 3 months now and still don’t have a kitchen table to eat on. The service after the sell is horrible to say the least. They’re great till they get your money then I wish your luck it better than mine
Ashley Furniture on Gun Barrel road in Chattanooga, TN was a beautiful clean store to walk into today. I was met immediately by a very friendly and well mannered young man, Joshua Boyd, who helped me with what I was looking for. What a chair! I love it! So comfortable, plush and soft.
Amy was my sales rep. I told her what i was interested in and she gave me clear direction. She was knowledgeable about the furniture and explored options with me. There was no pressure sales pitch just a desire to help me choose a design that matched a picture that I had. Great experience! Delivery scheduled in less than a month.

Will not order from again. Refused to deliver items even though I have proof on THEIR paperwork the order was to be delivered.
Found what we needed, had a small mistake which Diane took care of. Great experience spending my money, but don't expect any help from any associate on the weekends if you buy something off the floor. We bought a desk and not one single associate would stop laughing and having a great time with themselves to assist me with loading it. I had to wait on my wife, who was paying. Only two customers in the entire store and roughly 8 or more sales people. It was really sad that not one of them would even walk over to say "can I assist you with that", especially since they dont have warehouse people on the weekends. Guess laughing and chatting with other sales people was more important than customer service. It was the perfect example of "it's not my job".
Ashley was absolutely wonderful!! I described the styles I was interested in and she walked me all around the store and suggested the perfect items for my home. I got a coffee table and end tables set and a set of lamps to go with it and they were very affordable. Highly recommended!

While Paula was awesome, and she done what she could to help us, I have several issues. 1. Inventory. The recliner I wanted had a delivery time of 6 to 8 weeks. Supply chain issues should not be a problem at this point. Especially for a company who makes their furniture in North Carolina. 2. To much fine print. Example 35% off ad, no mention of with a purchase of $1,000 or more. Or if you want 0% interest you can't get the 35% off. 3. And free delivery will never happen.
Dom was our sales person and he was new. He greeted us as we came in and made us feel welcomed. Where Dom was new he didn’t have all the answers but willingly brought other sales people in to help answer questions that he did not know. All the sales people were eager to help us and Dom but did not try to take over Dom’s sale, which is not usual in a commission only business. Dom did a great job of helping us find the best pieces for our house and the team did a great job of supporting their new team member. Thank you for a great experience!

I came to the store to purchase a sectional. I knew exactly what I wanted and had a previous quote (from another Ashley location) for the furniture. The sales associate, Joan, located the item and honored the discount of my quote. The only reason for 4 star is because Joan was new and the whole process took longer than anticipated. Overall, great experience!

Let's start off with talking about the used car dealership mentality at a furniture store! Ordered a sectional, two end tables in a rug 4 months later I only received two end tables in a rug so I cancel my order for the sectional but they continue to charge you exorbitant fees above and beyond what your paper of receipt States do not do business with this company as you will have it on your credit report and you'll have to fight for months to get it off because they are doing unfair practices I'm in the middle of legal battle at the moment with these people
I had the perfect experience at Ashley Furniture. It was all due to my sales person Diane. She was amazing. Helpful, knowledgeable. She wasn't pushy, she genuinely wanted to make sure I was happy with my purchase.

Definitely cone to Ashley Home Furniture if you are needing new mattresses and/ or furniture. Randy Eller was so helpful getting us the mattress ordered to meet our exact needs… he was so patient & not pushy at all. And their mattresses come with a great warranty if you buy the mattress cover to protect it… there is also a 90 day trial period where u can return the mattress & exchange it for another if u don’t like how firm or soft it is. I would highly recommend Randy as your sales associate… I will from now on be asking for him every time!!!

While they may be a little more expensive than other places you can go the quality and build feels better than the cheaper stuff. They also have a great warranty for their products. We worked with Josh in getting everything we needed. It was a great experience there was no pushiness, just checking in to see if we needed help or questions every now and again. I would be comfortable recommending you come here or at least give Ashley Furniture a chance!

After eating out with a girlfriend, we went into Ashley “just to look” at outdoor furniture for my new deck. Ben welcomed me and directed me to the outdoor furniture section. He was attentive without being pushy. He gave me just enough space to browse but stayed close enough that whenever I had questions I didn’t have to go looking for him. I made one turn and saw exactly what I wanted! Immediately I pulled out my graph papered layout of the deck. Ben knew I was serious then! He was very helpful as I strategized what basic pieces I needed to purchase first and checked measurements to make sure the pieces would fit on my deck. The Memorial Day sale was in progress so I took advantage of the opportunity to save. I am very happy with my purchases which will be delivered in a week. I will be returning to Ashley Homestore soon. Thank you Ben for making my shopping experience so enjoyable.

I am changing my score. I had 5 stars for the fast and good service in store, but the couch we got is broken on delivery. The deliver guy would take it back and said he needed a ticket but signed our name for the delivery. We contacted the store and they said they would be on it, but after two months we’re still here with the same couch. There’s been back and forth with the store and the service center and no one cares but we are paying for a broken product. So not buy here. The sales team is great, the rest is not and that kills everything that was good about our first experience.

We visited 4 furniture stores today and were, by far, the most impressed with this one. Their options were great and better yet, the prices were a lot more reasonable. The sales team, especially Brian, was super helpful but not at all pushy. I'd definitely recommend this store to friends.

I called and asked about the Memorial Day deals and I was informed one thing, got to the store and it was something else. The 2 salespeople that helped me were very unprofessional! One of them was talking about customers. I cancelled my order the next day because come to find out they didn’t give me interest free for 24 months. I had to call customer service 3 times to get someone to cancel me! I was still getting calls from delivery to set up a time. I had to go to the store 2 times to make sure it was cancelled so I could stop getting calls for delivery set up. I do not recommend Ashley! They do not have it together!! The mangers I spoke with were nice and hopefully it is handled now.
I’m disappointed by Ashley furniture. I bought a couch in late 2021 for over $2,000 and my wife bought a 5-year warranty on our sofa and 2 years later I have an issue that needed to fixed and they said they the warranty is through an outside group and they can’t help me. I wasted $300 on that warranty that I could have used to fix my sofa. It just feels dishonest if your store offers a warranty to fix something, and it’s through another group that refuses to fix something reasonable. If I buy the warranty it should be through your store and be fixed if there is an issue. I talked to a supervisor and they said that they can’t help me. I won’t ever buy anything from this place again I’m very disappointed.
I just went into Ashley to look. When I walked in Diane O’Rourke handed me a flyer with the deals they had going on and told me to let her know if she could help in any way. We were never followed by sales people or pushed to buy anything. We ended up finding a dining room table we liked and Diane took care of us right away and answered any questions we had about the product.

Was not overly impressed with service wasn’t until I said the chairs were less expensive at another store that she lowered the price paid in cash for purchase and thought it was odd I was asked for drivers license and credit card then wanted to pick up my purchase and was given an unreadable copy of map and went to their warehouse the really nice person was the guy who put this furniture in the truck for us. Not sure what the white lab coats are about. Probably my shop there at Ashley Furniture

Let's start by saying the Ashley Home Furniture Store is among the worst places I have ever received furniture from. The person was named Walfa, and she was very talkative and pushy, especially when I got the extended warranty. I finance my furniture through Acima, and my Acima representative is named Kay. I have been going back and forth with Ashley's Home and Acima about canceling my extended warranty and showing the credit to my balance. I have been dealing with the back and forth since December 2023. I talked to Darel, the general manager, and Ben, the assistant store manager. I am always told someone will reach out to me, but I am always the one reaching out. I called Ashley before I received the furniture, saying that I wanted the extended warranty canceled, and I was told that it was canceled, but that never happened. Then I went inside the store and spoke with Wafa, and she told me I couldn’t cancel it, so I called customer service. They told me I could, but then I was told I needed to go inside the store to cancel it, and I would be going back and forth for over two months. I spoke with Ingrid, who works at extended warranty who confirmed that the warranty was canceled, but Ashley still expects me to pay 2000 plus dollars to Anima. It shows that I owe 2,009.60 dollars, which is wrong because the warranty was $399 plus tax, which should be credited back. I want to pay off my furniture and be done with this. I repeatedly asked to speak to a district manager, but nothing happened. The last update I received was when I called and talked to Ben; he said he issued another ticket for someone in cooperate to fix it.

Good friendly service but only told that i have to wait 2 weeks for delivery after I paid left a bitter taste…wont see me again. Then 1 day before delivery I get a nonchalant oh it will be 2 more weeks cause it didn’t make it to the warehouse! Pathetic service! How can I give zero stars?

Although we entered Ashley Furniture only planning to browse, my husband soon found a leather recliner he loved. We eventually found a sectional that worked well with it. The selections to choose from would fit any style and taste. Additionally, Randy, the salesperson, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, but not pushy!
I've shopped at the Chattanooga store since moving to northern GA about 3 years ago. We've outfitted a living room, breakfast nook, guestroom, and entry way! We decided it was time for a new mattress and we wanted to go from queen to king. Although our bedroom furniture is all Ashley, we have had it for about 10-plus years, and with getting a larger mattress, we'd of course need a new bed frame. I was VERY happy to find out Ashley still makes our set, so all we needed was the bedframe. I wasn't aware they also sold Tempeurpedic mattresses, so I was VERY happy again that we could get everything we needed there. Ed and Brian were WONDERFUL (who knew mattresses are so high tech now?), and helped us make a choice I know we will literally sleep soundly knowing we made a good choice! We also got in on the Presidents Day sale, and qualified for free financing. I'm excited to get our new bed and am very grateful to have such wonderful people at the Chattanooga store - it's why I always go back when I need something, and I know I will again!

Well I will start from the beginning lol. Tryied to charge me full cost for new rug that was laying under are feet as i am about to pay lol only reason figured this out they told me i had to take it with me. So i said not buying that for 799.00 they gave me half off. Talk to sales person get everything I need ordered which I was told asap. Well fast to them is weeks on top of that will be 3 different deliveries to get my order which turned into even longer. Here I am on second delivery and now the TV stand missing a door. To cut it shorter was told would be delivered February 3rd now February 7th . My tv stand door is basically a month out. Don't order from here go some place else FYI there chat bot with call you a million times even after delivery scheduled.

The showroom was lovely. Within minutes we were in the hands of a knowledgeable sales associate who immediately showed us the bed we had seen on line and were interested in purchasing. He confidently answered numerous questions concerning the product and the store's financing options. I bought a reclining love seat on Black Friday of Last year and i'm still waiting for a warranty tech to show up to repair. I'm dumbfounded at how difficult this process has been. Multiple calls over the past 2 months. At first , they want you to wait on possible parts the tech might need to be shipped to your house and now that the parts are here, i've made a 6th phone call and i still don't have a date on when the tech will arrive. They might need more pics and they will call back when the check with tech's schedule. The entire process is dysfunctional. Hope you have the patience of Jobe.

Ashley employees and one of their managers are running a shady business. Beware! I purchased a VERY expensive adjustable bed, mattress and mattress protector last summer with a delivery date scheduled for a few days out. Within a day, the delivery was pushed at least 2 weeks. I had just gotten out of the hospital and needed the items by a specific time, so I ended up needing to cancel the order and found the exact same items and purchased from a competitor with no issues. When I went to Ashley to cancel the order, everything seemed in order. It wasn't until 2 weeks later that I realized my credit xard was never refunded over $7k that I was owed!! I filed a report with my credit card company and for MONTHS, Ashley kept pushing back saying I received the items. They finally conceded sone but continued to push back on about $400+, stating I had taken the mattress protector, which I did not. Everything was to be delivered together. At every turn, Ashley lied. They lied about having the items available. They lied about the delivery date. They lied about refunding my credit card (and even gave me a bogus return receipt!) Then they lied about me taking some of the order, which was untrue. Their competitors had warned me that Ashley was difficult when it came to returns, but I had no idea how bad it would get. It's now about 6 months later and my credit card company still hasn't informed me that this has been resolved. I will NEVER shop there again, and I warn everyone I can to avoid Ashley in Chattanooga. Go anywhere else. Rooms2Go was great and easy to deal with. They didn't haggle on the price and made the shopping experience easy.

I have no idea how they have high reviews. Or maybe I just have the worst experience. Bought a couch 6 months ago, and I'm still trying to get them to fix it. It was delivered with a lot of the stuffing missing out of one of the back pieces. Not sure why they even let it out of the factory like that or set it up in my house like that. I had to request they fix it. They sent me a box of stuffing and then eventually a crew came. The stuffing that was sent was not enough to fill the couch. So then I had to ask for more stuffing. This time they sent two 5 ft boxes full of the stuff. Excessive. The second repair person that came ended up breaking the zipper while trying to stuff it. I am now waiting on a replacement of the whole back piece so they can come and replace that. When the last repair man was here I tried to give him one of the boxes of stuffing and told them they sent me way too much and he said he would take care of it. I just found out that "taking care of it" means just setting it in the side yard of my house. He didn't even take it with him, he just threw it in my yard. I can't believe I can spend this much money on a product and get this level of service. This a shame. I'm sure no one will look at this review, but just in case, please help me! I need a refund! This is not ok! Finally got someone from customer service who was able to help. Talked to at least two dozen people there before finally getting help. Bumping up from one star to 3 stars because with the small refund I don't feel AS ripped off.
If I could leave no stars I would. They are unprofessional people and have the worst customer service. We bought a whole king and queen bedroom set back in November and when they delivered the chest, night stands, and dresser we noticed they were all damaged and scratched. We let the delivery guy know and he took pictures and told us to call our sales rep so he could get someone to come fix them and if it wasn't fixable we could request to get a new one. After a couple of tries of getting in touch with Joshua and the manager they were able to send someone to fix it. After the service call, the damages and scratches were more noticeable than before. We called Joshua and even texted him multiple times and his response every time was that he was on vacation or that he would get the manager to call us. We've even left multiple messages with the person that answered the office phone and as of now we haven't heard anything back. We have even gone to the actual store and they are never there and we get told they can't help much only to pass the message around. This is ridiculous and the shadiest people that I've ever purchased from. It has been a couple of months now and we have not gotten a solution. I know for sure not to buy from them again!!

Overall I had a pretty bad experience. I spent roughly 10k with them and after they got my money customer service went out the window. My entire order was delivered later than promised. I was very clear with the salesman I dealt with that I was leaving town and needed everything before I left and he promised me it wouldn’t be a problem, well that didn’t happen. I had to get a friend to come over and receive the furniture I purchased. I get things happen, but during deliveryinstallation/delivery team at Ashley damaged my new laminate floors, and then on the day of delivery they told me they didn’t have the bed I ordered because it broke in shipping. I had to wait 3 weeks for the bed to re-ship, which I did, and then that bed broke during shipping as well. After that I wanted to cancel my order, I called 3 times no one would call me back and I finally had to drive to the store and cancel it. Two weeks after canceling the order I still hadn’t gotten my money back. I called the store and when I actually spoke to someone I was promised a manger would call me back, which never happened so I had to drive to the store again to deal with this. Turns out the salesman and manger I had previously dealt with did not process my refund correctly. I’m sure Ashley is better in other locations but do not use this one off of Gunbarrel RD.

We decided to invest in furniture at our local Ashley store knowing it was a large reputable company. We chose our furniture and decided to seal the deal when they offered a 5 year protective warranty. Our green velvet couch and loveseat looked great at first but after a year of very gentle use it is literally coming apart at the seams with some kind of white plastic coming out of the seams and the stuffing visible. I called and was assured all would be made well but that the warranty company was an outside company. and I was given that number. When I spoke with them and described the problem they checked on it and replied conveniently that would not be covered as it sounded like a manufacturing malfunction. So basically they would cover if I'd stained it but not that it was made so poorly that it just falls apart. I would never invest or recommend this company to anyone. The assurances they give you at purchase are nothing but a scam. Very shady unprofessional customer service and horribly made products.

We bought the Ashlor Nuvella Sectional after weeks of shopping and testing around our area. We liked the color of the grey fabric and overall look/feel of the floor model. We opted for the same fabric and even added on a warranty because we hadn’t heard great things about Ashley’s furniture. The couch was bought in July and within a month, you would have thought we had the couch for years in a college basement with how much piling had already built up! We filed a claim with our warranty, hoping that might allow us to swap out material or cushion, but alas, the service rep who came to our house told us that “Ashley should have warned ya’ll about this fabric” and that “we should purchase a fabric shaver.” Cool. Great. Thanks. For how much money we spent on this couch, the quality just isn’t matching. Save yourself some time, money, and frustration and buy from a different manufacturer.
Ashley was very friendly and very helpful! Only thing I noticed when we were going over delivery, I was told it was 169.00, after I got home and looked I was charged $269. So for that reason 3 stars.

The sales woman was very knowledgable about the products in stock and helped me locate many options that would be agreeable, and I am very pleased with the tables I chose to purchase. However, it took a very long time to check out because of the cumbersome computer software to create the invoice probably 30 mins to do just that. Even the cashiering process was cumbersome because I couldn't just pay and go. The extra paperwork was silly since it was a pay and go transaction not an order or credit application or anything complicated that would have taken longer. The tables were then loaded into my care in a timely manner and i was off for home. Please streamline your checkout procedures so you can stop wasting customers' time.

This is the worse experience ever. I purchased a dresser and was skeptical because of other reviews. Sales person told us the dresser was their top quality. It was delivered 2 days later, put in place then halfway unwrapped and they left without checking drawers. We started taking the remainder of packing foam off and 2 of the drawers wouldn’t open. When I called the store I was informed I had to contact their warranty service their hands are washed of it. I then had to call their warranty service 3 times because we kept getting disconnected. Once the information was exchanged I was told they will send the parts to repair them and should be here in about 10 days, after the parts arrive I have to call the warranty service back then at that time they will schedule an appointment to come repair the drawers. Don’t buy from Ashley.

My wife and I recently visited Ashley to look at couches. Nathan, the sales representative assisting us, could tell we were on the fence about a certain sofa. He then proceeded to tell us that there was a 72 hour trial period if we purchased it, inferring we could return it with no questions asked if it didn't fit our space. This was a lie. When I called to begin a return within that 72 hour period, I was told that Nathan had lied to me, and that they don't offer returns of any kind. The store manager, Benjamin, didn't seem to care that his team lied to customers in order to make a sale. He blamed my wife and I for trusting his associate's word and not reading the contracts ourselves, and refused to honor what his employees had told us. It's clear that they will tell you anything to make a sale, and won't take accountability if they make up policies on the spot. Really disappointed in this whole experience, and can't see us shopping here again.

If you shop here be aware of their return policy. If it makes it to your home it’s yours. Even if your sales guy says you can return you can’t. Furniture in my home for 2 hours. Unsatisfied too bad. Cheap plastic legs instead of wood. 30 day return policy online does not apply to the store. Shop elsewhere or be careful.
Buying experience was good, delivery was perfect. The delivery personnel were very professional and friendly. We have a very challenging drive that is 400 feet up a steep hill. The driver navigated it with no problem. He is one of the few that has. He is to be commended for his ability and professionalism.

Friendly sales agent name Wafa. She came up to us and gave us a sales paper . We did not plan on buying because it was our first time looking for a new sofa. Wafa left us alone to look. We sat on all of the sofas and found a couple that we liked. I found Wafa and asked her some questions and she helped us in a non pressured way. We narrowed our search to a sofa and ottoman. Wafa gave us a deal that I was happy with so we finalized the purchase. Now the wife is happy for a few more days. Ashley furniture seems quality and is made in Mississippi. We bought the protection plan and are having it delivered. I'm excited to sleep on the new couch. 😴

He checked in when he could tell we were curious without us having to look for him and once we had made a final decision, we turned around and he was astonishingly there to check on us right on time again. The distribution center did a great job handling our pickup and loading for us. If you’re local or getting a smaller piece of furniture (we just got a couch), I’d recommend picking it up yourself. It’s a really smooth process.

I’d like to preface this by saying I love the couch we bought, but buyer beware slick talking salesman will talk you in a circle. I was promised Black Friday pricing and a ps5 for spending over $4,000, but wouldn’t you know when it’s all said and done we didn’t qualify for any of this. I will never use or recommend this store!

Please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. I was told by their automated system to pickup my order on Sunday at their warehouse. But what they don’t tell you is that the warehouse is closed on Sundays and Mondays. When I went back to the store to find out exactly when I could pick up my order, the sales guy told me he could not help me because his family would suffer if he was not selling furniture. So after speaking with the manager, I was told to pick up my order on that following Tuesday or Wednesday and that the rest of my order would arrive 3 to 4 weeks from that date. “I bought a four piece sectional couch and got three pieces now and I guess I’ll wait four weeks for the last piece” No return policy even if your furniture arrives broken and missing pieces. Our couch was missing the feet and seat on one piece was not assembled correctly and should not have passed quality control. This has just honestly been the worst buying experience I’ve ever had. I’ve had better experiences buying used cars. It’s just been a huge hassle from picking up my order and now waiting on missing pieces to come in as well as waiting for a service technician to come out and make proper repairs. I truly feel that the pieces on the showroom floor are much better quality than what they sell and ship to you. I will never buy from this place again. Just quick update, I ordered this 4 piece sectional couch 2 weeks before Thanksgiving, it’s now 2/2/24 and I’m going to go get the last piece today.
I want to start by saying I would give Ashley itself a 5, because it was a wonderful store with wonderful product.. and my delivery was very smooth. However, my experience with this store was horrible.. the man helping us was a young skinnier black man with a beard.. describing because I don’t remember his name.. but he was extremely difficult to work with and extremely unprofessional. He used foul language our entire visit, gave me wrong measurements for the furniture, and would not give me any exact numbers when I was ready to buy. When I did try to work through purchasing numbers with him he continued to raise the price at every step even though he had already given a “final price.” He lied about delivery dates, he lied about monthly payments, he lied about return policies, and he continued to tell me and my friend that normally his customers are just “cool with whatever.” He was watching a football game on one of their TVs and continued to ignore delay our visit because he was turning around watching his team play. Not to mention, when we were ready to close the sale, he started helping someone else in the middle of us trying to get checked out. The worst is that he ran my pre-approval for a line of credit and then hard checked it before asking my approval to go through with financing through them. This was the worst and most frustrating furniture buying experience in store that I have ever had in my life. The ONLY reason I purchased here is because I loved the product and I loved Ashley as a store and the guarantees they have for their furniture. But if you go here, please beware of this man and how he is going to treat your experience with him. Manipulative, slow, and lying at every turn. But you won’t regret buying an Ashley product. It’s been the best and every other part of the experience was good.

When we arrived. We were helped immediately. We were looking for a bed for our granddaughter. We found the perfect bed . So we decided to purchase the mattress there as well. But doing the final cost details and delivery. We were told there was a cost for the delivery of the bed, which we expected. But there was a separate cost of delivery for the mattress. Although both would be delivered on the same day. My husband and I had to take a pause. Why two separate delivery charges. My husband was ready to leave but I said maybe the young man miss understood. I could see a delivery cost for the mattress if that was the only item being purchased. But he said no two separate cost. We felt like we were being over charged for delivery. WHY!!! Be ware.

I paid over $3,000 dollars for living room furniture, got a confirmation number and a delivery date, two days before delivery I received a confirmation of delivery. Then within 24 hours of delivery HEATHER called and left a message that one of my pieces wasn’t ready for delivery & they would have to reschedule. Then later that same day someone cancelled my order all together. I have all communication with Heather & staff I messaged with. Someone messed up, but won’t own up to it. Terrible customer service. SHOP ELSEWHERE.

BUYER BEWARE!!! We bought two lamps from the Chattanooga Ashley store. One worked properly the other did not. Contacted the store less than a week later and was referred to “Corporate”. Corporate said basically you bought it, it is yours there is nothing we can do about it. Called the store back spoke to Ben who said that he was the assistant store manager. He said we have to follow what corporate says. So, when you deal with Ashley, you’re dealing with corporate and all that that entails. I have been an Ashley customer many years but will not do business with them ever again.

Absolutely the shadiest group of people that I've ever purchased anything from in my life. We spent nearly $10,000 on furniture, and when pieces showed up that were broken, they shifted blame and told us it was our fault for not fully inspecting it when it was unboxed. They delivery guys HID the problems (and they tell you that you can't be in the room when they are installing because of Covid). I would've left zero stores, but that wasn't an option. I went to the store immediately after the delivery to complain – they told me I had to file a complaint first and then come in and talk to my sales person who could help me. When I did that and came back in, Amy – my sales person - said there was nothing she could do, and sent on my way. I wouldn't buy water from Amy, or Ashley, if my house was ok fine. Absolutely buy at your own risk.

My mom and I stopped by before our dinner plans. The lovely lady, Amy, knew we were in a rush, and did everything she could to assist us in our timeframe, and we got everything we asked for, and left perfectly in time for our plans. All in all, she took less that 30 minutes to check our credit and complete the purchase, while giving us the best deal possible. 10/10 recommend this store and it’s people!
I wouldn’t even give this store 1 star. Do not buy the protection plan on anything. It’s a money pit and they won’t tell you the fine details or honor what they sell you. They will blame corporate but when you call corporate, they will tell you the Chattanooga store is a privately owned licensed store and there’s nothing they can do. They do not make anything right on their end and at the end of the day, the furniture doesn’t hold up over time. We have finally learned our lesson about giving this store a fair chance. I will continue to escalate this.

I’ve never actually written a customer review, and don’t plan to again, but this experience was so horrendous I honestly want to steer people away from here. We purchased some barstools for our new home, after measuring our counter height. They delivered them, and the barstools slid under the counter without any obvious issues. Shortly after the delivery truck left however, I noticed they were slightly too tall when sitting in due to the cushions to sit at the bar comfortably. At this point I contacted both my sales rep and customer service (note this was within 5 minutes of delivery). I was told by my sales rep at the store everything had to go through customer service, but once they put in an exchange request, they would be able to process the exchange for the lower barstool height. (Note— I’m not trying to get my money back here, I’m just trying to exchange for the slightly lower barstool height, which is the same price). Here is where things get really obscene—- I spoke with multiple customer service reps over the phone who kept stating there was a strict “no return policy” after delivery and essentially telling me I was SOL. Eventually it was escalated and I talked to someone who agreed to put an exchange request to the store. He looked back through all the notes and assured me the request had been sent, and if approved I would be able to get the exchange. Great! I contacted the store then, but they said they still had no request. After waiting until the end of the week, I drove to the store in a last ditch effort and asked to speak with the manager. They looked through the account and all notes and confirmed to me that nothing had been sent. I then immediately called customer service again, got a very kind but seemingly stressed lady one the phone, who when I pressured for the exchange ticket number supposedly sent to the store, admitted that it was never actually created and sent. I was previously LIED TO over the phone by incompetent or lazy employees who didn’t want to deal with the issue. When I contacted the store again via text message and told them this— I was left on “read” and they never replied or did anything. So in essence, this terrible excuse for a business backstabbed a loyal customer who had previously ordered several pieces of furniture and always paid completely up front. I completely understand a no return policy after furniture is delivered, but I was simply trying to get the correct product that I could actually use, and did this within moments of delivery while the product was still new and untouched by myself. I was not trying to return and get my money back, simply exchange. Barstools are a product that are all slightly different, and they didn’t even have the stools in store so I could physically look at them to ensure proper fit!!! I could only go off my measurements and the measurements they gave me of the stools online. Steer clear of this place! I’ve found a couple of other local furniture stores with kind and helpful service reps and employees that I’ll be using to furnish the rest of our home.
Ashley was wonderful to work with. I feel very confident that her knowledge of all the mattresses held me make the right decision. I can’t wait to get my new bed.

We went in the Ashley and was instantly greeted by Wafa. She was very polite and help us purchase the exact couch I wanted. Even helped customize it how we wanted it to be in our home.
This is the second Ashley store in the area I have dealt with with similar results. IMPORTANT - If you find something 'on sale' on their website and it refers you to go into the store DO NOT expect to get the sale price in store. BAIT AND SWITCH. The manager will ignore the web price (on printed paper as proof) and charge whatever sticker price is on the furniture. In our case it cost us hundreds of dollars. Also was told from another source that used to work there that their ethics are sub par (that was why they left) so if you deal with them buyer beware. From me dealing with 2 of their stores that is exactly what I experienced too. Used car salesman selling furniture. Will not be going back, cheaper and easier to buy the stuff online elsewhere.

I’m giving them a one because it’s all I can give them my experience with Ashley Chattanooga Tennessee was horrible. Ed ordered the wrong couch we had it delivered. I told the guys before they even took it off the truck that it was the wrong couch. They brought it in anyway I said I had 72 hours to take it back or to contact them. I went the next day in the store .spoke with Ed and Darrell assistant manager, or supposedly assistant manager and he said he would have it taken care of it would be a week …he did not order the couch when I called and talked to him still haven’t heard anything from him. Please do not order anything from Ashley you’re wasting your time and money darrell assistant manager in Chattanooga, Tennessee is the worst manager I have ever seen in my life you lied to me straight to my face

The furniture is great but they split up the financing into four separate bills. This has been my first experience financing furniture.
They lie to get you to buy something. $5000 purchase and I can’t do anything about it. I will NEVER purchase anything from them or recommend them to anybody. They are crooks. Literally just say what you want to hear to get you to buy and then act like they never said anything after you purchase the item.

The furniture seems over priced for the quality. Most of it seems to be wood veneer or MDF. Lots of staple joints instead of tongue and groove or Dovetail. Just be sure to shop around and know what you're getting before purchasing anything. There is a major variance in quality but not nearly as much in actual price. At the store I asked for a price on a bedroom suite, and it took almost an hour to get that because the computer system was down. We left and went to a locally owned furniture store where we were able to buy a much higher quality suite for a little less money.

If i could give no stars I would. We placed an order for a sectional in August of 22’ to be delivered a month later. They told us it would be delivered sometime during the day on September 13th & it never came. We ended up calling and they told us some parts hadn’t came in yet and it would be another month until we got our couch. We decided we wanted a refund because we didn’t want to wait over a month. They told us a refund could take up to 8 weeks, well it’s now been almost 10 months and we have YET to get our refund. we called corporate and turns out Gunbarrel never processed our refund. Not only did they not communicate with us about our delivery, but they didn’t even complete our refund. Horrible store and employees.

First time customer. I had the bad luck of arriving just as Ashley had a major systems meltdown. The salesman Phil was very helpful and communicative throughout what must have been a very frustrating time for all the Ashley employees. Had to wait multiple days to put in my couch order, but he still gave me the sale price. Then had multiple issues awaiting delivery - which meant it took over a month to get a couch that was in stock the whole time. After I spent time talking with customer service on the phone about the lack of delivery process, Ashley did refund my delivery fee, which I appreciate. This would be a lower rating if not for Phil's communications, in spite of ours being a smaller order. Ashley should give Phil a raise, get their system fixed asap and figure out a smoother delivery process.

Do not buy anything off the floor. They loaded what I purchased and covered up the damage. When I got home I could not unload the TV Stand because it fell apart. I went back to get my money back. They refused. Said everything is as is and no returns. Nothing was said about as is when talking to a sales rep. I will not purchase anything from them again.

If I could give a 0 I would, I paid almost 1600 for a new mattress and bed frame/foundation, wasn’t even up for 1 day and it sounded like I had purchased from a thrift store and was 20 years old, I can’t even think about moving in the bed or it makes noises, Ive called the store for 2 weeks and left over 10 voicemails and no call back and no answer, not only that but I was charged for the delivery/ for them to put it together for me, they sat it down and just left. I would NEVER buy anything from this Ashley. If you’re thinking about buying from here rethink and go somewhere else.

1 start because I can’t give them 0 but they deserve 0. Purchased a king size split mattress/frame and an additional bed frame, so not a cheap purchase, everything went well at that time but went downhill from there. 2 weeks pass and we finally receive a call to schedule our delivery, the delivery comes incomplete, only the bed frame, nothing about the split mattress/frame, when asking the delivery guys they have no clue, they tell us to call the store. Fair enough we call the store 16 times one day, 5 times another day, 7 times another day, leave messages to get a call back… nothing. How frustrating is that? We are talking about a purchase of over $8,000 the least you expect is someone to pick up the phone and be able to give you a status on your order, right? But no… they don’t care to pick up the phone. Bottom line, we have to drive 45 Minutes to the other side of town just to be able to speak to someone (also because if you call the 800 number; they will tell you that if your purchase was in store, you have to talk to the store directly, great!) So that’s what we did, we drove to the store to be able to speak to someone not to get a status of the order/delivery but to cancel. This is not the type of service I would expect after spending that much money in a mattress. Not fair. Walked into mattress firm in Hixson and in 3 days I already received my mattress! After this experience with Ashley Furniture… Ashley will not get a penny from me. Ever again. Disappointing is an understatement.

I am so disappointed in the service I am getting. The computers and system crashed at their store right after I bought a dinning room table and chair set. I picked up my new table at the warehouse right away and had to wait a few days to pick up my chairs which are sitting in their warehouse right now. They have been there for a few weeks and I have been ver y patient. I went to the store and the warehouse here in Chattanooga a few times and they refuse to look for them now that their system is up. I have company coming and I have a table with no chairs. I am going to request my money back and buy it somewhere else. I will not buy anything from them again!
Very dissatisfied. Went to Chattanooga last Thursday and their system was down. Ordered 2 rocker recliners and today is Monday and still haven't heard a thing back from them. Very dissatisfied!
Bought furniture - a week later unable to call the store - supposed to be delivered on 6/8 - no communication of why the store wont answer or what is going on with the order.
I was happy with the salesman but right now I am not happy with the store! I was supposed to get my new mattress and base Tuesday but no one showed up. I called the number and got a recording that deliveries might be late do to system malfunction. I am sleeping on the my old mattress on the floor for the third night! Needless to say, no one has bothered to call me.🫢☹️☹️ After getting my mattress and base, it came with different type legs! Still to this day they have not taken care of the problem! Will absolutely not recommend Ashley because they do not take care of issues!!! Will share my disappointment on social media!☹️

Horrible Customer Service. We purchased a $7,000 couch & loveseat. Ashely charged $500.00 delivery fee, to go 7 miles. Was supposed to be delivered Saturday morning. Friday afternoon we received a call that they had to reschedule our delivery for Wednesday between 8-Noon. Now we have to take off from work (lose money) to let Ashley make delivery. We asked for them to waive or remove some of the $500. delivery fee & the best they would offer is $200 store credit! To make matters worse, they then want you to fill out a review on them so we did and received a text stating for us to call in & they would make it right. Nope! Once again, Omar in Customer Service would only give a $200. store credit. When we asked to speak with a manager or get a managers name, Omar would not go any further. We canx our $7000. order with Ashely. Were going to Carpets of Dalton!

Sales person very knowledgeable & nice. Not pushy. However it’s going to be a month in a half for delivery. Which is not the sales persons fault.
The customer service was excellent, however, I believe I was a victim of Bait-N-Switch! Ashley didn't have the advertised item at the cost that was advertised. I was offered a substitute, but with a higher cost especially after finding out that I was pre-approved at a higher amount. I needed the item for that day given my family situation. However, the mgr refused to bargain or match the advertised cost. Due to my time restraint, we purchased the item. After arriving home, I started to assemble and discovered the parts didn't lineup according to the instructions. Very disappointed with Ashley.... I have no indication to add additional pieces to my Ashley collection. Given this review, I'm absolutely positive I will not hear from you in the future and this review will be swept under the rug. The one star is in part to the salesman working extremely hard to accommodate our dilemma.

When I walked into the Ashley store on Gunbarrell Road. The salesmen were like vultures. I ended up with a salesman that was helpful. Ended up buying a power leather sofa. I paid for my sofa in full. We set up for the delivery guy to call and set up a delivery time. I went home thinking that was a good experience. But I kept getting text to come pick up my furniture. I was told I would get a call from some one to do that. Never did. Spoke with Lexi multiple times who was absolutely no help. Kept getting hung up on multiple times at this location. A bunch of smart elec people who would hang up on me as well. When they got my money for the sofa. It seemed after that i no longer existed as a customer. I will never buy from Ashley again. It was a terrible experience. The delivery was great tho. Lexi informed me she was the manager at that location after I spoke with her multiple times and she told me I needed to speak to my salesman. When i specifically asked to speak to a manager. She is very unprofessional and if indeed she is a manager, she definitely needs retrained on how to treat customers. Do better!

Our experience selecting, purchasing, and receiving our couch was phenomenal! The sales representative Harry did not make us feel pressured or rushed and genuinely wanted us to select something that we wanted. The couch is excellent quality and the customer service from management to the communication via phone calls was always pleasant. When we get our house, we will definitely be furnishing the whole thing with this Ashley location. Prices are also definitely competitive, we went to five different stores to find our couch, and nothing beat Ashley.

This is the 5th purchase I've made from Ashley Store over the span of 6 years. The latest being a bedroom suite to replace the one my youngest son and daughter- in- law are taking to their home near the military base where he'll be stationed. John T even took time to call me while he was off to make sure my delivery was set up and going as it should since I had to change from pick up to delivery. I absolutely love the quality of all the pieces I have purchased and the look is so beautiful! I have a strong feeling we'll be shopping at Ashley again soon to furnish my children's home as well.
Great experience at our local Ashley Furniture. I have used Nate as our salesperson for many purchases. He is always pleasant, easy to work with, and has a huge smile on his face! I highly recommend our local store and of course ask for Nate, you will not be disappointed!

I've been in a lot of Ashley stores, but this store itself is one of the most beautiful stores I've been in. The staff was amazing and selection was incredible. The sales staff that we dealt with, her name is donna, is awesome. I highly recommend the store and that you ask for Donna when you go in. She doesn't treat you like a customer, she treats you like a friend and family. I love the southern hospitality.

Whatever you do do not purchase furniture from this company!!!!! You will be sorry if you do!! My husband and I have had a terrible experience with this company. The delivery team arrived 3 hours early with no phone call. The dresser drawer was broken and can't be opened. The color of the bedroom was not right and I asked if we could exchange and that was a big NO!! Such rude people...now I have a bedroom suite that I do not like. Canceled the rest of the order so I had to keep what was delivered...they had us to order a drawer and they were to send someone to fix it...yeah right. Please folks look at reviews before you purchase anything this store has some terrible reviews. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!
My family has been going to Ashley Homestore (and other furniture stores in the area) for a few weeks looking at different pieces of furniture. The salespeople at Ashley greeted us each time and gave the promotional flyer. I finally decided to get a couch from Ashley and salesperson Donna made the sale by having my concerns on the delivery answered. I read so many bad reviews that I was afraid to purchase. If Donna didn't know the answer to my question, she asked her manager, Ben. The couch I wanted was in stock so I was able to get it delivered within a week. The delivery fee is based on the purchase price. There is a doorstop delivery fee where they leave it on the porch or for $50 more there was a white glove delivery where they bring the furniture in, set it up. I was able to choose what day to have the couch delivered, but the time was determined by the delivery company "DSG". DSG would send emails/text to confirm delivery date and then at least a day before, they would send the 3 hour time frame of delivery. My couch would be delivered between 9:15-12:15 Today was the delivery day and texts were sent that showed what number in que my house would be on the delivery. There was a link that showed the area where the delivery driver was located. My couch arrived within the timeframe, the delivery team that included Jacob went above and beyond unloading my couch and answering my questions. You have 72 hours to contact Ashley if there is a problem with the delivered furniture. My couch came assembled, but still packaged with cardboard and wrapped in plastic. If I decided to pick up my couch, the distribution center is located at 6300 Enterprise Park Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37416. Hours of operation are Tuesday-Saturday 10-4:30p. Closed Sun/Monday. I had picked up the matching loveseat from the distribution center years ago and the person at the warehouse was able to help load it into a minivan, but it was a struggle fitting it in even with all back passenger seats taken out. Not until I moved this year, did I learn that the backs of my reclining loveseat (and now sofa) can be removed to make moving it easier. So if you're picking up a reclining chair/loveseat/sofa you might want to check if your salesperson doesn't mention it (as Donna did when we purchased the couch).
Delivery guys dropped off furniture at front entry of the house and left didn’t bring the furniture upstairs to the room it was supposed to be we had to hire another mover to get the furniture brought upstairs and placed in the room.
I am writing this review for Donald Walters. Ordered furniture and they said it would be on hold and when it came time to deliver they didn’t have the furniture on hold like they said it was. So they sent us the wrong furniture. I will be happy to change my rating when they fix my order. Don’t buy anything from this company!
I had a super experience! David Mashburn assisted me in choosing two end tables and two lamps, even taking the lamps to sit them on the tables at the other end of the store. He's helped me during two visits to Ashley, and was professional, helpful, but did not use high pressure tactics. Great experience, thank you David!

I had such an amazing experience here!! The furniture is amazing quality and I didn’t have to wait long. The only thing I would want to change is the comments here, in particular the man named Joe. I was at the back counter paying for the furniture when the screaming man came through. Th customer service agent handled the situation amazingly even though the customer was yelling and cursing at her. The professional way she handled the situation made me more confident in buying the furniture here. It really sucks that he left such a bold lie in his review.

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE WITH ASHLEY!!!! I ordered a bedroom suit and was promised a delivery in 4 weeks. Delivery day came and went and I never heard from Ashley. I reached out multiple times and was told something different every time I called. I was never told my furniture was on back order and was promised a delivery date. After week 6 I cancelled my order and had to wait for the two night stands that were sent to my house to be picked up before I can be credited. The night stands were picked up and for some reason that Ashley can not explain were redelivered and still no refund since they were sent back to my house! I have requested to speak to a manager multiple times and I have been told every time a manager will have to call me back within 48 hours. It has been 1-2 weeks and I have still not received a call. Still waiting on a refund from the purchase online! I went to the store to try to get help and they told me they are separate from online. There is a MAJOR language barrier problem with the online store for Ashley furniture as well. If you plan to purchase their furniture I strongly encourage you to go to a store or take your business elsewhere. I went to Rooms to Go the next day after I cancelled my Ashley order and my furniture was delivered 3 days after I purchased! Thank you Ashley for the stress of this mess and the 5+ hours I have spent on the phone with your reps trying to get my order and now a refund!! Worst experience I have ever had with a company!

Immediately assisted by a sales person who helped me find what I needed. They had one at the local warehouse and I was able to pick it up very quickly. The only issue I have is that the price even after a 20% discount was a hundred dollars more than the price quoted on the Ashley web site. Already opened it and it seems like a good quality mattress. Just wish they were more transparent on the price difference in store.

Worst customer service ever. We received our brand new furniture, couch, and loveseat all the cushions that you sit on and lean against or almost flat and of course they don’t take it back. You have to go through the customer service and they’re sitting in India and it took us three months to get someone out here and then the repair guy was only allotted so much time. He was only told to fix two of the cushions seats and backing one on the couch and one on the loveseat and we still have three more to go so we have to put in another work order and it’s up to the repair person to say if you get new furniture or not. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS VERY BAD!!!!
Would leave a zero star if possible Bought a couch 2/8/23, the wrong size couch was delivered on 2/11/23. When I called the store Lexi and Danielle stated there was nothing they could do about it due to their no return policy. I took a video of me measuring the couches, brought it to the store and they admitted fault. I picked out a new couch and offered to pay full price for it, the store manager stated they would cover the difference Fast forward to the new deliver day, only an ottoman was delivered. When I called the store, Lexi stated “you did not receive your couch because we did not collect payment”. To which I said the difference was covered by the store. I was informed the new delivery date was a week out, so I chose to pick up the couches myself and return the old ones. When I did this I was inquired/was informed of a $308 refund for the deliver fee. I confirmed twice the amount and was told it would take 5-10 business days. Day ten came on Friday March 3rd and lexi told me she put in a “24 hour urgent request”. Monday March 6th came and my money still has not been refunded. I go to the store, she tells me the request is done and will take 3-5 business days now. I then called the 1-866 number was told it would take ten business days This has been the worst couch buying experience ever. I did my part, which was to pick a couch and swipe my credit card for payment. They have failed me over and over in holding up their end of the deal. I would NEVER recommend buying anything from this store and if you do measure the furniture before they leave and good luck haha. Also, the disrespect I received from Lexi put a cherry on top of the atrocious experience I had.

The delivery process was horrible. I was told one thing during the sell and then got furniture sent undelivered. The salesman Benjamin lied and them didn't even call me vacation. Our conversation assured me that the furniture would be assembled. Wrong the delivery driver was going ro leave the boxes in my driveway. I have purchased every piece of furniture in my house from Ashley and this has been the worse experience yet. Not to mention the second incident with this very same store..The customer service is not what it should be. They don't do anything to accommodate. Thanks for giving me false hope Benjamin. I'll make sure to spread the word......

I bought furniture here and the next day it went on sale, I talked to the manager Brian and said I wanted to cancel my order and get it online for 240.00 cheaper with free door step delivery he said he would match that price. Ok 2 weeks later they have not refunded me anything and said that that’s what it costs to have it dropped off in boxes at your door. The first box was left outside a week later the second chair they told my husband they would just bring it in he said no that’s ok they said no problem we can do it. That was probably so he would not notice the rip on the side of the chair. I have been trying to talk to Brian about my refund but he won’t speak to me and says he didn’t say that about my refund don’t trust them. We never will. We were going to pick it up door delivery is supposed to be free I guess that’s just sometimes. And telling me that that’s not what he said I guess I just made this all up and have been waiting for my refund that will never come. I have spoken to them again and Brian still hasn’t called me and won’t come to the phone I guess he doesn’t want to lie to me again.

This company is a great example of people that are good at taking your money but when there is an issue no one knows a d*mn thing. All they do is give you the run around. They have what looks like a 17 year old loading things at the distribution center, then when you get your items home and seen a whole side of the box was thrown around and remove your furniture it is damaged and you just get numbers to call with no solutions. Save yourself the headache. You’re better off shopping at ikea you’ll get a better return/exchange policy and customer service can at least acknowledge your concerns with some type of professionalism. The manager had a whole script and just rolled her eyes like it was the biggest inconvenience to be in her presences.
Went to the Ashley store to view a lamp I had seen online. It was not in stock at the Ashley store. The sales lady looked it up online. Placed an order for me. I asked about the return policy. No response. Got to checkout, paid, signed paperwork. Then was told all sales are final. No returns. Canceled the purchase. Tell your customers about the No return policy BEFORE purchase! Bad customer care.

We were skeptical with things we had heard regarding delivery (including stories from close friends/family and even the woman in front of us at customer service— she had been waiting on her furniture for 10+ weeks 😳) but decided to give it a shot. Swiped our card, bought the couch and then decided to back out before we signed our paperwork. Our couch had been scheduled for delivery “middle of March”— NO exact date. Our transaction and order were “canceled”, but all we received confirmation-wise was our original order sheet with the word “CANCELED” written in pen. Said we should receive our refund within 7-10 days but if it’s longer than that, then it “is what it is”. Chrissy, our original saleswoman, was wonderful and if you do decide to give your business to Ashley, give it to her. However, the other salesman Benjamin, was extremely cold and crass once canceled, which is understandable, but literally just couldn’t care less once we changed our minds. No fighting for business or anything of the sort. If I were you, I’d go elsewhere. They’re obviously not too concerned about your business.
I purchased my furniture in December 2022 and paid approximately $6700 for a King bed, King mattress, nightstand, and chest of drawers - which seemed to be overpriced but I was excited as this was my first new furniture purchase. I was able to get my furniture delivered quickly within the next week, but 2 out of 4 items came delivered damaged and I am STIILL waiting on parts to arrive in the mail from corporate. Once they arrive, I have to schedule someone to come fix the furniture. Absolutely ridiculous for 7 grand!!! I will never buy another item from any Ashley store ever again. I have items in my house from Facebook Marketplace that I bought used that have better quality. Please do not waste your money here.
This is the worst store ever. I have spent many thousands of dollars over nearly twenty years with this store (3 homes and 2 apartments) and I will never give this privately owned Ashley store another dime of my money. The salesperson knew I wasn't yet living in my new apartment; he told me he could change the delivery address for all my furniture. This was a blatant lie that has cost me over $500 on a rug that was never delivered and countless hours redirecting (mostly) patient delivery personnel and I don't know how many people over the phone. And this salesperson now yells at me when I decided to go into the store to dispute owing money for a rug that was never delivered to me. I was fortunately able to have all of my other pieces redirected through some excellent staff employed by OTHER Ashley facilities. I don't know if it's just vulturish practices by this management, poorly trained sales staff, or this is just another example of a business that forgot who is important - their customer... Go see Allen at the Hixson location, he's great. Other than that, I recommend ANY other furniture store, I would rather spend money at Big Lots than this store.
We knew what we wanted when we arrived and Chrissy was very efficient, friendly and, professional. This was the first stop we made out of 4 that were planned for a bedroom. It was the only stop we made besides dinner and Margaritas. Daryl was also most helpful when Chrissy was finalizing our purchase. Would most definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a fast, friendly, and customer service oriented furniture store. Thanks again for the great experience!
I bought a couch and love seat from this store. Sales lady was awesome! Delivery team and customer service was horrible. Delivery team left furniture on the porch to get rained on. My wife and I had to move furniture inside our home and assemble the furniture ourselves. We were charged 339.00 and told the delivery team would bring furniture inside of home and set up. After calling customer service to tell them about our experience and requesting a refund for the delivery charge, they were kind enough to offer a 195.00 compensation… in a gift card… to their store. I Do not recommend buying from this place, nor will I give this place anymore of my business.
I would never buy from here again. The no use no lose protection plan promise that they require you to purchase is an absolute joke! They are only interested in you spending that money so they can pocket it at the end. Never once did they tell me that I had to use it only at that location and that I couldn't even order online or over the phone to use the voucher. I NEVER would have bought from them in the first place! I have moved 9 hours away and are unable to come in the store before the voucher expires tomorrow, and they're telling me I will just lose my money. No extension on time, no ordering over the phone, and only able to use it at their store. So now they will just pocket my hard earned money. I don't see that this is fair or right and I will be reporting them to the BBB. It should 1000% be about the customer and all they are concerned with is a deadline so they can pocket customers money. Absolutely ridiculous.
Dave and Brian was very helpful and professional. They helped me through the entire process. Great presentation on mattress. The only issue I had was Lexie (not sure who she is) called me and was VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. If it wasn’t for the great experience I had with Dave and Brian I would have cancelled my purchase.

I bought a set from them before Christmas and had to return it and get another one and have been waiting for my refund since then and I have been lied to every week since about it! Now the media will meet me at the store!!! You can not talk to a person from corporate because they say they don’t have one! You can’t talk to a District Manager because they say they don’t have one! I know Ashley is a corporate company so tell me why they don’t have somebody to fix the problem? The person they say that handles this is Lexi and she is not doing her job!!!! If it was their money they would be upset too. I do work for my money!

I went in looking for couches for my living room and was approached my a salesman who asked me what I was looking for and then went through nearly their entire selection where I sat and evaluated each couch. I ended up choosing the 3rd couch I looked at but he took the time to continue showing me couches anyway. I didn't feel rushed or pressured in any way to purchase, which I appreciated. He simply asked what I was looking for and showed me to what they had available. Great experience.

Wrost ever place to make a purchase if I could give them a 0 stars they r the ones that deserve it. All purchases are completely messed up because of them. I paid the whole amount and still messed up. I paid for delivery they keep calling for pickup such unprofessional people.
Salesman were not pushy, very polite, knowledgeable, accommodating and friendly. Delivery was very good as well. Same experience as salesman except very fast but efficient.

The process of finding the perfect furniture and purchasing it has never been easier. All of the staff was very friendly and relaxed. I did not at all feel anxious or pressured into my purchase. Chrissy did a great job helping me purchase a couch for my new apartment! Customer service was great and she helped me find the best couch possible for the best price.
Found what we were looking for, but sales person was deceptive. Handed us a flyer noting twenty-five percent off sale. When we prepared to purchase an item, we learned that it wasn't expensive enough for the twenty-five percent discount. The manager did finally allow the discount but the minimum purchase requirement for the discount should have been clarified by the sales person at the beginning of our visit.
I spent all day furniture shopping in the area and made my last stop Ashley. The salesman, Nathaniel, was excellent, and I ordered a couch. The soonest he could get it to me was December 24th. On December 24th the couch arrived early- fantastic! But was missing a cushion. They said they probably threw it out at the warehouse because they didn’t know how the couch was supposed to look. They wrote it in the delivery slip that it was missing. They said on Tuesday someone should reach out to me. I called throughout the week and could not reach anyone any time. On December 30th I called and they had still not entered it into the system that it was missing. They said they entered it that day and someone would reach out in 24-48 hours to confirm. 4 days passed and nothing. Today, January 3rd, I reached out and it had still not been entered. They said the soonest they could ship this out would be January 23rd. I called the store and they said that they still showed this as not entered, and they can escalate to their customer care team who will be in contact within 7-10 days. There is still no resolution here. I don’t know if this has been entered. Supposedly there is no supervisor for me to speak to, but I am still without cushion and not happy. Additionally, I was going to finance the couch, but instead they accidentally charged my card all at once, but also took out a line of credit for $10,000 in my name that I knew nothing about until I got an email alert from Experian a few days later. They weren’t able to tell me about that either. Don’t shop at Ashley. The furniture is good, but nobody else has any idea what’s going on about anything.
My wife and I went in, only needing a kitchen table, as we had new chairs we bought last year from Ashley. I asked a person passing by how much he would come down. Surprisingly, he said far more than I was expecting. My wife and I were blown away and bought the table on the spot (actually, bought it, but won't be available at the warehouse until 8 days from now). The passing-by person turned out to be the manager and asked us who our salesman was (the person who greeted us), and told him to give it to us at the price he said he would. We cannot wait to go get the table in 8 days.

We purchased a side chair for the bedroom. Love the color and style. The salesman allowed us to go all over the sales floor and try all the side chairs until we found the perfect one. It was a very good experience.

I had very bad experience with delivery of items. It took more than 6 months to deliver the items & post delivery there were damaged items. Too many followup needed & hardly I got a response. Was having nightmare to connect to Chattanooga store over call . Charged me taxes which were initially. Told not be charged.also for few damaged items I was expecting replacement but they did not agree & only received service. Even for service too many followup needed. I was excited to purchase furniture from Ashley but now with this experience I will not recommend to buy from here.

My wife and I purchased some furniture here 4 weeks ago. I just received a call today from an unapologetic customer service agent telling me that we won't receive our furniture till January 3... Totally dissatisfied with this. Probably not a good idea to make this review until we actually have our furniture... But I will NEVER purchase anything from Ashley furniture again. You lost my future business for anything.... Totally unacceptable... Merry Christmas.... Update.... Sent Email...no response

As we walked in the door we were greeted by Chrissy. By her asking a series of detailed questions, we were quickly put in front of the pieces that were best suited for our needs. Within an hour or so, we had purchased a bed for our daughter and a living room set, along with the most comfortable oversized leather recliner I’ve ever sat in. Chrissy is EXCELLENT at her job…playing referee between my better half and me is no easy task! The ONLY thing that I was missing upon saying goodbye was a nice snack. Petty? Sure. However, for ME, a five star experience, while spending that kind of money, would’ve included perhaps a few warm cookies and a cold coke! Absolutely worst customer service I have EVER experienced. They delivered a broken piece of furniture...I tried to call to get it resolved. Customer service tells me I have to contact the store (press 3) it rings 10 times and hangs up on you...for an hour. I now have a $3,500 credit card bill for busted furniture and NO ONE can help me!
Bought furniture and scheduled delivery sat at home all day and never showed up. After 15 calls I was told I had to pay for delivery again.
I walked in with a list of things to look at but after meeting Doug and Darryl it all changed for the better!! Doug led me to everything that wasn't on my list...from the new Duro sofa in Gray to the Alesandra over sized chair and after all was said and done, there were 2 rust orange accent chairs I had to add to my order at the end. You have really good guys at the Ashley store on Gunbarrel Road that represents the store in such a positive light that makes you feel right at home!! Thanks for the wonderful experience at Ashley furniture.
This place is a joke. Please don’t waste your time and energy here. We have been trying for close to 6 months now to get our furniture fixed that was delivered to us broken and we keep getting the run around and/or hung up on when we call. I know decent customer service is hard to come by these days but Ashley on Gunbarrel is next level awful. Would love if someone there would have the human decency to rectify this situation and at least call us (or not hang up on us when we call) as we have spent quite a bit of money with you all. * don’t worry about texting the number they give you. It’s not helpful either and this is what you’ll get. Will be calling BBB!*
Spent about $10k there on new couch and bedroom set, but… - Took forever to get one of the pieces (ottoman) - Ottoman broken in so many ways - Took forever to get replacement - They’re bad at communicating anything that’s going on - I hit “unsubscribe” so many times on their marketing emails, but kept getting them And more, but I’m done typing… Update: My daughter was also supposed to get a room makeover as her Make-A-Wish and they were going through Ashley for her bedroom set. After waiting months, apparently Ashley doesn’t even have the order or some BS. (They’re getting a refund and ordering through somewhere else now.) No, I’m not going to call Ashley to try working it out because every previous time we’ve done that it’s been a PITA.

Pat was making a move to assisted living in Dalton. John Totten, our salesman, and the store manager assured us that they would get us our in stock items by move-in date. The move in date was November 29th. They said they would even make two deliveries to Dalton to make sure she had what she needed. Mr. Totten even gave us his personal cell phone number. When I called the store to schedule delivery nobody would help. It went to scheduling centers all over and I was told that our items would not come until late December. Mr. Totten did not answer any of my phone calls or texts. I feel that we were scammed all along. If they will do this to someone moving into assisted living there's no hope for anybody! We will never shop at an Ashley store again.
0 stars. Every time I call customer service they answer and the connection is full of static and nearly impossible to hear. The only thing I could hear every time was a continuous loud siren. When voices would come through they were completely drowned out by the siren. I’ve never been so frustrated with customer service in my life. I will never purchase anything from Ashley furniture again.

TLDR: Don’t expect anyone to fight for your business at this location - If you’re lucky like us, you might have a salesperson empathize with online price savings they refuse to match and help you pick out some styles, take some measurements, etc. Full Story: Went in with my wife today to look at a new living room suite and see if they had a dining table and chair set I found on the Ashley Furniture app on display. They didn’t have the dining set on display. We spent about an hour looking around before we decided on a sectional couch, and we were approached by sales promptly. The sales person was very friendly and courteous and helped us design our new living room, and this review should not be taken against them…. This is more directed at whoever they walked away with to negotiate with (I assumed a supervisor or manager, never was introduced) and corporate marketing/pricing. See, I had my Ashley Furniture app on hand, and compared prices and deals to the total-in store price. Without getting into too much detail - we saved about 1000 dollars by shopping online. I was told by our sales person the reason the oversized Ottoman (priced at 449.99 in-store) was included online with the sectional for 1889.99 (Sectional in store was 1799.99, so about 90 bucks for the same set with Ottoman included online) was because of an “online only sale” where “financing couldn’t be applied”. Moreover, the extra 80 dollars for store delivery (299.99 versus 229.99 online) and the service plan was also double what the online service plan cost. Yet, the delivery store listed on my app, and the coverage and carrier were exactly the same for the insurance. So, I placed my order online, and got a better financing offer, and was allowed to use my email coupon that the manger refused to honor in store. I truly believe Ashley’s Corporate doesn’t want people shopping in store, otherwise, why would they undercut their brick and mortar prices by hundreds, or in my case, just about a full 1000 dollars? Anyway, we got what we touched and felt in store, plus a few extras. (the sofa table was half as much as was in-store) The dining set would’ve been and extra 240 bucks to have the sales person “order” to the store. My advice is: go to the store, sit and feel on the beds/couches tables and chairs, and then look them up on the Ashley app. Two stars for a salesperson that clearly shared our frustration that their boss and maybe corporate was cutting into their commissions by apparently restricting price discretion. They spent an hour or more helping us design our space, for free…

I’ve worked with salesman for over 20 years and Harry is the best!! He didn’t make a ton of money on my purchase due to my budget but he treated me as if I spent a ton of money. He’s a wonderful asset to your store and thanks Harry for all you did for us today!!!!
Jeff Allen was our sales representative. He was very attentive and helped us configure our new sectional to make sure it'd fit perfectly in our space. Edited to add: the store made mistakes on our invoice which caused my delivery to be rescheduled FOUR times.

My wife and I visited the Ashley in Chattanooga and enjoyed our shopping experience. Staff were visible, greeted us, but did not crowd us. We were able to wander and think before requesting help. They were patient with us as we weighed our options and made our selections. They offered helpful suggestions during the process. I will shop there again and would recommend Ashley to any of my friends and family.

Kathleen was our sales associate and she was super nice and helpful. We used the financing option since we were making a purchase for several rooms. The financing process was very smooth and quick, with many options available. Would definitely recommend stopping in here to look at the furniture in person since some of it looks a little different in person.
I went on looking for a recliner to replace one that broke after only 10 months (not an Ashley chair). The salesman was soooooo patient and attentive to me. I needed to test a variety of styles; and he helped me through each one. I'm super excited for the arrival of my new rest companion!

Annoying customer service. They don't give you time to look around. The sales agent was pushing us to sign for their credit card and make a purchase. Online the price for the same item we liked was lower. Overall we went to a competitor and made a purchase.
Brian was extremely helpful. He even moved a recliner from one area of the store to another so I could see how it fit with the sofa I was purchasing.

Buyers beware, false advertising! A “top grain 100% genuine leather” (product description) sofa was sold to me approximately a year and a half ago which is now peeling/flaking. Genuine leather doesn’t do this. Ashley furniture refuses to do anything about it and continues to deny claims that I have submitted in addition to refusing to accept any responsibility regarding the fact that this is being falsely advertised to customers.
Lowered my rating due to their delivery... was told my 1st of 2 deliveries would be here today and even received a text this morning that it was out for delivery and was delivered... only problem is i never received a delivery. Called customer service once they opened to find out that my delivery had actually been cancelled... Once again i only lowered due to delivery... all staff have been great...Sales consultant was great and the manager was great as well. Helped us out on finding what we were looking for. They didn't have the set on the floor that we wanted but they found it online and got it ordered along with mattress and box spring. They were very knowledgeable and answered all questions... unfortunately due to the delivery inconvenience I would not be willing to use them a second time unless they reach out to make it right.

First of all the store is extremely warm and inviting but that doesn’t compare to the service and hospitality that is felt from the salesman of the year, Joshua!! He is above and beyond what anyone would expect to have as far as help finding the right furniture. I am very picky and indecisive and walked all over the store several times. He walked with me, kept record of what I liked before, helped me compare, gave opinions and stories that helped me decide on or against pieces, all while being at complete ease and full of grace and patience. He was like a dedicated bridesmaid helping Bridezilla find the right dress. Seriously, he was so patient. The store closed at 9 and he walked with me assuring me that it was okay that he had stayed late plenty of times before and that it was no biggie until I finally left, undecided, at 9:36! He didn’t seem disappointed or let down whatsoever. I felt like I was shopping with a good friend. His knowledge of all of the pieces and his readiness to make it work was so much appreciated. I have yet to make the decision on which piece I will go with, but when I do….I know that Josh at the Chattanooga, TN store will be my first call!

Worst customer service ever… bought over $8000 worth of furniture from them, they delivered part of it in March 2022 and did not get the rest of it until today October 8 and what they did deliver back in March is the wrong furniture it was supposed to have a electric working chairs and recliners and it’s all manual… we called the store no less than 10 to 15 times always the same story it’s back ordered could never get a straight answer out of anybody the manager refused to take our calls the sales guy would not take our calls but they sure didn’t have a problem taking our $8000!!!!!! would not recommend anybody shop at The Ashley store in Chattanooga Tennessee…..

Took 3 and a half months to complete my order. Was waiting on 2 end tables. They did not match my coffee table. They were darker and 1 of them , the legs were not even. The table rocks. Delivery times were not correct. I was told 3 different dates, on delivery. They were not correct.

Very disappointed with the delivery time. Bought furniture in mid-February and the final piece is supposed to be delivered tomorrow, October 1st. I know there are supply chain issues, and I was told to expect a six to eight week wait, but we waited more like 16 weeks for the first piece (which was damaged) and 28 weeks for the last piece. I do have commend Lexi in Customer Service and Darryl the Store Manager for always being so patient and as helpful as possible whenever we called or came by with inquiries about the situation. I would only recommend that the sales agents be a little less “enthusiastic” about expected delivery dates. Just be more honest upfront about it. You might lose some sales, but you might not!

I have a small space, so he helped me to find the perfect size sofa! And Ashley was great at keeping me posted on my delivery date and time. The delivery men where very helpful and polite too! Scott was great! I called the store while driving back from the Hixson Outlet store totally disappointed because the salesman never even approached me to see how they help. I gave Scott the item number and he located the piece I wanted. By the time I made it to the store at Gunbarrel, he had everything ready and he even gave it to me for the price listed online. I can’t stand being misled aka lied to. Was told upon ordering our bedroom suite that it would be delivered on the 21st. That was going to fine since we didn’t have company coming in until the 30th. Then we were told to pick a new delivery date between the 24th & 26th. Did that and was told today that it will be the 1st. After our company arrives! Can’t speak to the store manager because they are to busy and never call back ( have tried several times). Can’t get the salesperson (Nathan) to the phone because he is to busy lying to other victims of deceit. Nothing has been offered to compensate for our inconvenience or stress. I don’t want something for nothing. I just want what we agreed to and have paid for. Last time ding business here. I cannot comment about the furniture’s Quality as it has not been delivered on the date promised when purchased.

Salesman was good and helpful. He had to ask for management to override something on his computer. He called it in on their radio. Where we were sitting I saw a guy lean back and look out at us then went right back to talking to his buddy. Turns out he was management. Our guy had to take his I-pad to him for his assistance. Left me with a feeling that I wasn't important enough for management to be bothered. Other than that, a very good experience.
I had purchased a Larkinhurst queen sofabed a few years ago, I purchased the extended warranty, the bed developed some mechanical issues and they replaced it with a brand new sofabed. It was easy to process, they were very helpful and the delivery guys were fast & very helpful! I have Ashley furniture in every room in my home!
Had just what I needed
The worst customer service I've ever see, I have two orders open and no one can tell me anything about when I will receive them or IF! They take your money than when you try and get answers they just give you the run around or worst just hang up on you after you've been on hold because they don't want to deal with actually giving you what you paid for a month ago! DO NOT buy anything from Ashley furniture if you want to actually get your furniture... 6 phone calls and another trip to the store and nothing but two people hanging up and than not answering after the call center says the store is the only one that can give you answers and the store saying they can't or will call you back and nothing!

Worst store I’ve ever dealt with! I was told I could return my furniture within 72 hours of delivery, my delivery was less than three hours ago and I want to return it for poor quality. I called the local store where I ordered it from and the girl basically was rude and told me to bad. When I asked to speak with a manager she put me on an indefinite hold. I then called the customer Care line. I’ve made several complaints and filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I do not recommend buying from this store. You should never ever spend any amount of money and not be able to return it. As a builder & interior designer, they will never receive another penny from me or my clients!

My experience was absolutely awful. My bed was supposed to be delivered the day before I moved into a new apartment. When they arrived they called several wrong numbers, and when they finally contacted my mom they told her she had 15 minutes before the driver would pull off. They were so worried about a gate code, when all they had to do was go through the leasing office to see how they could get my bed delivered to my unit. I sent my roommate around the whole building to go and find them, since that’s what they told us to do. They told my mom that since my roommate could not find them in time, she told the driver to pull off. I was extremely upset to hear this. We called several customer service representatives and the best they could do was get my bed delivered the next week! It’s ridiculous how the lack of impatience of the delivery resulted in me to almost not have a bed to sleep on for a whole week. My mom ended up having to rent a uhaul and pick it up herself. I was lucky to have my roommate’s dad who works in construction to put it together. However their were no screws for the bed at all and it was missing pieces so we had to brainstorm. I will never purchase furniture from here again. Once they take your money there is absolutely no effort to make sure that experience is satisfactory. It was a complete nightmare and I will never waste my time here again.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! I ordered a table in January 2022 I was told the order would be here in 2-3 months. They kept pushing it back time and time again. I know there are manufacturing and transportation issues right now, but there was NO communication. It has been about 8 months now with nothing to show for it. When I called they said that a portion of the order was in stock and I could go get it. After calling to confirm the order was ready they told me that they accidently gave a portion of my order to another customer. After calling the corporate number for weeks asking to speak to a supervisor they would hang up on me, tell me they would have someone call me back and it has only happened once. They told me they would refund me $150 for the inconvenience and only sent me $63.. DONT SHOP HERE. The customer service is awful.

I went and purchased a recliner and went to go pick it up on the 14th of June. Well, when I went up there it was so much craziness going on because they didn’t have any air conditioning so I waited forever. When the guy finally brought the recliner out I told him I wanted to see it because our salesman told us to check it out before taking it. So, when looking at it there was a broken piece on the wood and I told him I didn’t want that one and asked for another recliner. Well, they had no more in stock. So I refused that one and he said that it would be voided and I would contact my salesman to order another one. So the girl in the little office said it’s voided it will be refunded back to your card. It still isn’t returned back to my card and I’m still fighting it with the card company because Ashley doesn’t want to deal with it. This place is a joke!!
I only gave 1 star because not choosing one was not an option. I can honestly say dealing with Ashley furniture has been by far the worse experience I have ever had. I will not ever purchase another thing from them and do not recommend anyone use them.
I purchased a table back on January 1st 2022 and the salesman told me it wouldn’t be available until the end of may. Ok that’s kinda long but my wife really wanted it so we decided to wait. Come June not one word from Ashley so I called them. They now say it will be ready at the end of June. I went into the store I had purchased it from to talk with a manager who again told me the same thing “at the end of the month” and went on to say this purchase had a ready date scheduled to change meaning it wouldn’t be ready for pick at the 5 months like I was told by the salesman. This would have been nice to know. All those guys want is the sale. Buyer beware. This went on for two months as we finally got our table yesterday on August 6th 2022. Eight months that a long time to wait for a table not sure what their deal is but I will not be shopping at Ashley’s after this whole ordeal.
me and my husband walked in ready to buy a living room set. As soon as we opened the door everyone turned around and looked at us. We walked the whole store and no one even greeted us. Some folks walked in after us (of a different race) and were greeted immediately. Manager and employees were all around us and there was pleasantly of help available.

Save yourself the time and money and go LIERALLY anywhere else. We ordered a kitchen table in February and was told it would be delivered in June. After being told every other weekend it would be delivered it finally showed up the last day of July with NO CHAIRS. Still waiting on chairs and given attitude when I ask for updates. We keep being told "they will definitely be here this weekend" and of course they never show up. Has also happened to other people I know that went there for couches. 0/10.

UPDATE #4: Ashley Furniture declined our refund without further explanation. UPDATE #3: 1 yr and 2 months later, after being promised a refund, it has never arrived. This company has no morals or work ethic. Update #2: 1year after purchasing the weakest bed in history that split in the middle within 32 hours, I still can’t get them to refund my money and their warehouse keeps sending the wrong pieces to my house. They finally approved a refund and now they can’t even explain why I haven’t received it. The store blames the customer service line, the customer service line blames the store. Stay away from Ashley Furniture! UPDATE: 3 months later and I still have a broken bed. Every day it sinks more in the middle. DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY. Ikea has better quality. I’ve been contacting the customer support center since my initial review. Today we were supposed to get the broken pieces delivered and installed. I called twice and explained the problems and the two ladies that answered the phone assured me that the pieces that were ordered were the correct ones and they didn’t need for a technician to come in to double check it. Well, the technicians came (in a time frame that I wasn’t able to choose) and noted that the delivered pieces were the wrong ones. Basically, the exact opposite of what we needed. They tried contacting their support center and couldn’t even get them to answer. 3 months with a broken bed (and many more to come), I have asked for a refund and have been denied. $3,500 wasted. If I could give a negative star, I could. Not only my bedroom set took from November to JUNE to get delivered, but the bed literally broke in half in less than 32 hours. I have been calling their service phone for weeks and everybody seems to be clueless as far as when are the repair parts coming. Today they were finally coming in to install them (they were “ready” last week but we had to reschedule due to a personal matter). We were called yesterday with a window of time of when they would be delivered. Guess what? Today they were a no show. When we called, their customer service representative told us they were never ready to deliver and some parts were missing. The delivery guys completed 11 out of the 12 deliveries with us being that last one that wasn’t completed. This is a complete lack of respect to us customers. We have a bed that has what looks like a sinkhole in the middle. We paid almost $3,500 for a bedroom set that has been a fiasco.
Thr absolute WORST. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! Ordered a piece in January. Arrived broken. Delivery man said to contact store, but did not take it back. Today was 4th delivery, but arrived in a box and needed to be assembled. I am physically unable to do that, plus they promise a "white glove service." Customer service manager named Dominiquewas the absolute most obnoxious person I have ever dealt with. So unprofessional and downright rude. In my mind, I was being racially descriminated against. What a lousy operation with awful people, worse furniture, and despicable customer service.
We ordered everything for our newly built home in August 2021 and we were told it’d all be in by end of October. It’s July 2022 and we still don’t have everything. We’d be told an expected date for deliveries and it’d be weeks and sometimes months later before an item or two would be delivered. Never using again.

The leather is already peeling in a few small places( haven’t had it for 6 months yet). Too expensive for such poor quality. Took 7 months to get our bed They gave us the wrong delivery day to start with. Then when it was delivered the men didn’t even screw the slats of wood for the mattress to sit on fully. Now the metal legs slide out of place causing the boards to bend and almost break. After spending over $10,000 on furniture with this company in the last year and being as disappointed as what it all has been I can say without a doubt I will never do business with them again. Please please do your research and look into other companies before settling on this one and spending your hard earned money.
I ordered a dining room table and 4 chairs in February and it took me till just a few days ago to get JUST the table. Now, the delivery guys were phenomenal, they were great. However, whenever I go to the actual store to talk to someone about the order in the back office I’m treated like I’m an annoyance. Still no word on when I’m going to get my chairs. So all in all, I’m not going to go through Ashley anymore to buy furniture.
I ordered a bedroom suit and 2 mattresses in March. I have been given the run around with 4 different delivery dates. As of today my bed has finally been delivered but not assembled due to the hardware being left at the warehouse. Ive yet to be given a date and time that they will come and assemble my items. I haven't found a way to escalate my complaints as the email and phn numbers given are no help.

Buyer beware!!! Bought 2,300 dining room set cash. Was told it would be delivered in 6 months. 6 months later I am told that item we have waited for is not available. Salesman says he has processed the refund and canceled the item. This is horrible to sell something you have no idea you will be able to deliver. This is straight fraud and horrible customer service. I asked for a refund and was told it would take 7-10 days. Called back after 10 day with no refund and told actually it take up to 15 business days. Call back after 15 business days and am told that no ticket was ever made for the refund that he was going to make a ticket and have the escalation department call me by friday. Well guess what no call. So again I call and am told a refund had been issued and to just keep waiting. Ashley you can take my money in seconds why am I waiting a month to get a refund?!?! You should be paying me interest on my money that you have had for the last 6 months in your bank account and not in my portfolio. Tip for all you Ashley buyers that get the 5 year interest free. Its not interest free cause if you ask what the price is to buy cash they give you a 20% off discount. That means you are paying 20% extra on your purchase thats "interest free" Just wish Ashley would do what they say instead of treating there customers like trash.
Update: so some robo agent replied to my post offering assistance to help with my issue but upon calling the number provided, it went directly to general customer service with no help whatsoever. This company is absolutely terrible. They provide low quality items from their warehouse that look nothing at all like the floor items displayed in store. When you make them aware of this fact, they choose to ignore you completely so I am stuck with furniture that looks like it was put together by my 9 month old granddaughter!! Beyond frustrated and disgusted with this company, the employees and the poor customer service or lack thereof altogether!!! I will never purchase anything with any remote attachment or affiliation to this company. Buyers beware! You're better off going to a thrift store, at least there what you see is what you get. No unsightly surprise upon delivery 😡 First of all, I only gave one star because I had to in order to leave a review. I purchased a couch and loveseat from the store. Upon delivery, the quality the items was terrible. They came out of the manufacturer's box covered in stains and the stitching on the items looks like it was done by a toddler. The stitching is off center, different colors from the fabric of the couches, and it blatantly obvious. I called Ashley to request a replacement only to see that upon the new items being delivered, they had the same defective stitching. I had replacements brought out twice, and each time they were sent back because of the quality, and at the last attempted exchange was told by a representative of Ashley that they recognize the items are defective from the manufacturer. I attempted, against my better judgement, to exchange these items for a completely different set in hopes of eliminating the quality issue. Upon an unnecessarily long conversation via chat thread, because God forbid the hopes of getting to speak with live person, I was told I do not qualify for an exchange because the stains were removed!! Removing stains does not erase the fact that their furniture that was delivered in poor quality to begin with!! This is the absolute most unprofessional, incompetent company have ever dealt with and I am stuck with furniture that looks Iike patchwork created by a 2 year old!! If the item is defective and you knew this, you should be held accountable as a company to remedy the issue with your customers and remove these items from your showroom so that no one else has to deal with this in the future!! I will be reaching out to BBB as well with my complaints. Stay clear of this business unless you like throwing money away for cheap and defective items.
I had a great experience at Ashley Furniture. The salesman John Totten Jr. helped me, he was very friendly, listened well, not pushy and he ordered the furniture that I wanted and told me that it would be in around July 26. He said that was an approximate time, it could be a little before or after. I am a very satisfied customer. I also have his business card in case that I have anymore questions or need assistance in the future.

Crowded but helpful
Darryl was knowledgeable and straightforward in explaining their mattress lines. The adjustable base has timer and massage features for a better price than the other places. We’ve usually found Ashley to be higher, but yesterday they were the lowest. Even on a busy day, these guys hustled to give great service while allowing us to mull it over. Give them a try, I think you’ll be surprised.

The worst place to buy furniture. Salesman was untrained but bought the furniture anyway got financing done and was told due to Covid it could be weeks, that was fine with us. This was in December 2021. We got the love seat in a few weeks then the couch a few weeks later but the power recliner does not work they agreed to just replace it and was updated that it would be the end of July. Still after 7 months no wide recliner was told yesterday that my financing had expired and come back in and run my credit again. Getting ready to load up what I have and drop it out front of the store. Worst experience I’ve ever had.
We ordered a couch from here with the expectation of the delivery to occur within 2-6 weeks of placing the order. When we received a notification our delivery would occur after about 2 weeks, we were thrilled. We received the notification on 2/23/22. Our delivery date was scheduled for 2/28/22 between 9:45am-12:45pm. With only 5 days to prepare, we quickly sold our couch, painted the room, and took off work for the delivery. On the day of delivery we received a text around 12:30pm stating our delivery time was pushed to occur on 2/28/22 from 12:45pm-2:45pm. At 2:30pm, I chose to call customer service for an update. The customer service rep informed me our delivery had been canceled due to a missing piece (the wedge). We received no notification before or after this phone call. I proceeded to ask the representative to connect me to someone for further information. After about 15 minutes, he chose to hang up on me. At this point, my boyfriend went to Ashley to get more information from someone in store. The in store representation told him our delivery was canceled due to a missing piece except they said the missing piece was the right arm chair. They refunded us the delivery fee of $250 which isn’t even a fraction of the cost associated with our order. Today has been by far the worst experience with customer service I have ever had. I have never felt the need to post a review on a store, but I know I’m not the only person this has happened to. If Ashley furniture somehow makes up for this situation or provides any type of resolution, I will amend my post. At this time, I highly recommend shopping anywhere else.
My husband and I had the pleasure of working with a great salesman (Chattanooga, TN - Gunbarrel Rd) in February of this year. Per the salesman, our items (a bar, three stools, and a desk with led lights) would be available in June. Although not excited about such an extended wait period, we paid for the items in full and began prepping the space in our home for the new additions. I called to check the order status on June 6th and was advised that the bar and the desk would be available on the June 10th. We arrived to the on June 10th to learn that only the bar was there and that it would be October before the arrival of the stools or desk. I asked to speak with a manager and encountered "Darrell". When I explained my concerns, Darrell replied "Some people have been waiting a year. I hope that if people don't learn anything else from the shortage of baby formula, I hope that they would learn patience." Not pleased with Darrell's tone, I informed him that I wanted to cancel the order and wanted our money refunded. Darrell immediately altered his tone and began trying to accommodate by stating that he would call around to see if he could locate our desk elsewhere and if not, he would check to see if he could give us the floor display. Darrell also stated that he would see if he could give us two of the display bar stools but needed at least one for show. Lastly, Darrell stated that he would give us a call with what he had learned on June 11th but no later than June 13th. Darrell did not contact us on either date. I called the Gunbarrel Ashley store on June 14th and was told that Darrell was not in but that our order would be printed and that a note instructing Darrell to contact would be left on it. I called on two additional dates and received the same response. On June 21st, and with no contact from Darrell, I called the Gunbarrel Ashley store and was informed that Darrell works Wednesday- the weekend. I called and spoke with Darrell on June 22nd and was informed that two of our barstools were in stock and that he had been given permission to give us the desk from the floor display. Darrell stated that the other bar stool would take an additional 3 weeks. On June 24th, my husband and I went to the Gunbarrel Ashley store. One of the first faces we saw was. Darrell. He gave a quick wave and asked that we wait for him in the back. He later came back and said "Let's go have a look at that desk." As my husband looked the desk over, Darrell stated that one of the bar stools might have gotten away but that he could give us one from the floor display. My question was "How could it get away if it was ours? If two were in stock and you are willing to give us one from the display, we could have had our entire order." At the same moment, my husband noticed a screw in the cup holder of the desk and stated the fact to Darrell. Darrell replied, "So do you want the desk or not"? My husband said "No." Darrell replied "Fine, I'll give it to somebody else." At that time, my husband said "Just cancel the entire order." Darrell replied "You know that if you buy with someone else, you're going to pay 20% more; right?" Even with today's gas prices, I would rather pay 20% more somewhere else than to ever buy another piece of furniture from Ashley (especially the Gunbarrel Rd, Chattanooga, TN) location. We cancelled our order. The sign on the wall in customer service said to be sure and mention the location. Well, here you have it: Gunbarrel Rd, Chattanooga, TN, where Darrell is currently the store manager.

If you are looking for an incompetent group to do business with, this is your place! If you would like to get the run around while trying to find out why it takes 6 weeks to get your refund, this is your place! If you want deal with LaQuisha in the back, that has the worst attitude of anyone you would ever want to meet, this is definitely the place for you! I would rate this store and especially LaQuisha on a negative scale if that were possible. The store owner should really take a long look as to whether LaQuisha is who they want as they customer facing representative. Good product, terrible experience!

I can't understand how can the logistics and the sales department be SO disconnected one to each other. One says a thing, the other one says a totally different one. Delays all over the place. If they can't give your stuff on the spot, avoid this business, otherwise you will be stuck in a loop forever.

Was rated five stars and now one. We were told in store that the furniture cold be held for us for a month at least which turned out to be a lie. It can only be held for 14 days. We don’t have anything to do with the furniture until we move so we would just have to reorder and pray it comes in in a reasonable amount of time.
I want to choose Zero stars. I spent an hour on the phone trying to order a dining room table. I was transferred to someone who did not speak English as first language and I could not understand this person. The person kept trying to read the “script” to offer some special financing. All I wanted was to buy the table. I never did get to order the table after much investment in time and frustration. I had to order something different from another company. Sad and unpleasant experience.
Very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent selection and fair prices. We were able to find what we wanted to furnish all 5 rooms in this one store. Delivery with set up is scheduled soon and 5 year product coverage. Very pleased with this purchase.
I had been looking for a wall clock for years and decided to try Ashley Homestore, Chattanooga TN. I Found a beautiful heavy steel, 30 inch clock. Got it home and discovered it was just decoration!! It has no clock motor!! Obviously! I should have it inspected it more closely before purchasing but it never occurred to me that a huge, expensive wall clock would be just a decoration with no working parts. The salesman never pointed out to me that it was not actually a functional clock. I brought it back to the store only to discover that they don’t take ANY returns. Obviously customer satisfaction is very low on their list! If they can trick you to go out the door with one of their items you are stuck with it! They weren’t even nice or apologetic. Do not purchase from Ashley!!!

I give Ashley Furniture a negative 5 stars. Ordered furniture February 13 2022. It’s June 8 2022 and still no furniture. We were asked via text if we would like the furniture delivered on June 8th we said yes. We were told they would be here between 8am-11am. 30 mins prior to the end of the window on the 8th they called to tell us they moved our date to the 9th. Well thinking we were getting the furniture on the 8th I had all my old furniture removed the night before. I have absolutely no living room furniture with a 2 month old at home. They weren’t at all apologetic about the last minute change. On top of that we are only getting a partial order. They still don’t have all the furniture Do not purchase from Ashley Furniture. You will wait months and their communication is terrible. I will never purchase from them again.
Major quality problems. New to town, we purchased a guest bedroom set and coffee table. A visitor peeled a label off of a drink and set it on the coffee table. I didn't see it until a few hours later, but was shocked that it took off the finish. Not just the color, but there is an indention of some type. Later, we had overnight guest upon first use they put a couple of light weight items into the chest of drawers. They noticed that one drawer didn't open or close as easily. Upon inspection, I see that the nails holding the slider are out and the support is broken. This was a careful, mature couple who didn't cause the damage. So, our guest room chest lasted one use. Ashley has major quality issues and I assume buy the cheapest items that look good, but won't last. In my younger days, my furniture purchases from Walmart and Target easily outlasted these items and 25% of the price. I expected quality and got much less.

Walked in door, was greeted, saw recliner from on line search, tried it, bought it and back out the door in 20 minutes! My salesperson was the same one I purchased my last recliner from 6 years ago and is awesome to deal with as always. Love my new reliner & can't wait for my delivery next week!
It’s an understatement to say that I am dissapointed. The people at the store are wonderful, but the quality of the furniture and the delivery process has been awful. We ordered our furniture in November 11,2021. We were told it would arrive around February, but it arrived in May (so 3 months later than they expected). The bed frame took only 32 hours to break in the middle while we were sleeping. Called customer service, they said they would mail parts and then see if those parts would suffice to repair the broken bed frame. That was almost 3 weeks ago and there hasn’t been any updates. Our mattress has continue to sunk in the middle without us being able to do anything. Spent $3,577.89 for a bedroom set that broke in less than 32 hours and it’s too uncomfortable to sleep in.
I bought a sofa and recliner from Ashley sofa leg rest went flat. I called them out they came looked at it and said we have nobody to fix it! They’d get back with me. Never heard from them again. I paid a extra $100. For a 3 yr warranty. I think I deserve my $100. Back. I pad $1,700 for junk. Id never buy Ashley again nor would I let my family or friends buy your junky furniture!

This was the greatest furniture shopping experience my boyfriend, Derrick and I, have had this far. Our sales associate Joshua greeted us right away! He was knowledgeable of Ashley products and let us know what set them apart from their competitors. We appreciated this because we were having a hard time deciding where to make an actual purchase. Once we experienced Josh, it was a no brainer.

Good store service but I suggest to ignore delivery service and to pick up, they make it hard on their delivery employees instead of organizing a system to load the truck in order. They just stuff it in altogether in the truck, I’m willing to pay more for better solutions for everyone on both ends.

We placed an order for our table back in November and we still do not have a kitchen table. We have to go down to the location just to ask about our order because they never answer the phones. I was just told it will be 3 more months before we MIGHT get out kitchen table. We paid cash for these items... We haven't been offered any kind of resolution even though we have asked. The manager has never been there when we go and we have asked him to call us several times. He has never reached out to us. I'm unavailable disappointed in the customer service at this point. I just want my table or my money back. They have delivered us the chairs. But no table.
Jason was very helpful and not pushy when it came to our visit today. He greeted us and stated to reach out to him if we had any questions. He did just that was very responsive to our questions. Even though the set we purchased was a little higher than our choice at another store, I decided to purchase with Jason. I appreciated his service today and will go back.
So as far as making sure we have the right mattress for our needs, they are full of bologna!!! We ordered a complete bedroom set with split king adjustable bed and tempurpedic mattresses, spending near $16,000 total. After a week of sleeping on the first mattress, we knew it wasn't right for us, so we called to get it exchanged, as we were told to do. Upon calling we were told we couldn't exchange it until we had it for 30 days. Mind you we have 90 days to get the right mattress. After 30 days we called to get it it exchanged, we got it exchanged. The new mattress on my side is fine for me, but the one my wife got is absolutely killing her back. We called to get her side replaced and was told she can only replace it one time. So now she has a mattress and bed that costs us $10,000 that she has to deal with causing her severe back pain until she is able to buy another one because Ashley won't bring one that will work. Very poor customer service after getting the money in their pocket. Update: So after doing what the Ashley answer below told me to do. I get that they hid in their contract absolute opposite to what their Salesrep told us. Teach me not to read the fine print, if I was told what was in the fine print that day, I would not have bought the damn mattress there. Good luck with your dealings there, customer is not always right if they are going to hide things and tell you another on the show room floor, I will never set foot in their store again.
Josh was my Salesman he was very knowledgeable and Patient with me it took me 2 1/2 hours to make sure of my purchase. That's because they had so many wonderful items to choose from. I'm very satisfied with my choice!!!
We bought furniture back on March 12 and were assured we would have it by the time we move into our new house as one piece was already in stock and the others were due soon after. We move into our home May 6 and our furniture keeps getting pushed out later and later! The piece that was supposedly in stock somehow now one of the last pieces that will come in. Now the date is May 10, but “could be later”. Don’t trust them when they say stuff is in stock because it’s obviously a lie! Now we will be moved into our house with no living room furniture!

I've bought most of my furniture for several years from this Ashley store with the most recent being a shortly ago. So far I've had nothing but a pleasant experience. Once I had a very pushy salesman that I was completely irritated with. Otherwise, everyone has always been super nice and very helpful. I've never had an issue getting my furniture. I bought a couch and love seat and got it a week ago and had it in less than a week from buying it. Had an issue with my daughter's bed that I bought a few years ago with it being cracked and I contacted Ashley and they immediately sent someone out and had it fixed. They were great! I haven't had any issues with any other furniture that I have gotten and I have been very pleased with it and the whole process.

They delivered my bed 3 times damaged and were not willing to get me reimbursed. They didn't even give me a chance to cancel my order since "I accepted the damaged mattress and wait for the new one". Thats almost a year ago now and I have still only a damaged mattress in my apartment. I am from abroad and how their customer service treat me is something I've never experienced before and I wish I will never do again. Go somewhere else but don't go to Ashley's furniture if you want to be treated with some respect.

We purchased a leather living room set 4 months ago from the Ashley Homestore on gunbarrel. Our salesman assured us we had a manufacturers warranty…. Until we needed it. The center of the couch is already collapsed, making it hard to get up and down, it feels like an old cheap set of furniture 20 years old, except we spent over $4,000. After getting disconnected several times from the call center, I went to the store, where the SAME salesman insisted that there was no warranty on the furniture and they did not try to mediate the situation. Poor customer service for overpriced furniture is putting it nicely. Apparently they expect us to remain with our broken furniture instead of fixing it or exchanging it like they promised we would be able to. We are just in shock at the lack of effort in even trying to fix the situation (and the furniture), especially considering it has only been a few months since purchasing it! Buyer beware !!!
Had a great salesperson help us get exactly what we wanted! Would give 5 stars, but we can’t get some of the pieces anytime soon. Our sofa will be delivered in just 2 days! We were assured that our other pieces will arrive in 12-16 weeks. That seems like a long wait, but this is exactly what I want. So I am willing to wait. Also got a real good price. Comparable to other retailers. I will definitely shop Ashley again!
Ashley has a great promotion goinon right now . Buy what you need and take as many as 5 years to pay on equal payments and pay no interest . Just what I needed to hear . I redid my dinning room and my living room with this plan. I also got the protection plan . I am one happy customer . I love Ashley ❤️😍❤️😍

Very large selection to choose from and laid out very well. Sales person let us do our shopping and did not stay on top us or pressuring us to buy something. And when we did have a question, he was very informative and on top of his game. When it came time to purchase he was well informed on that and showed us all our options…very satisfied.

Horrible customer service!! Very rude office staff in the back. I placed an order and the wait time was to long and I was able to find the same item cheaper so I cancelled my order. I called their so called customer number which is of no use than asking about a delivery or pick-up. Went back into the store to cancel in person was incorrectly charged a 20% fee for canceling and my money was never refunded. Had to go. Had to go back into the store because customer service again can’t help. Went to ask about my refund and was told the Laney in the back did not fully cancel my order and the 20% charged was incorrect and not one single person could tell my why Laney deducted 20% from my refund. Not to mention they cheat you on delivery fees. Like other furniture stores have a set fee for delivery. Ashley practices price gouging by charging delivery based on cost of items which makes no sense. Shop elsewhere!!

Terrible experience overall. Store experience: customer rep. couldn't care less about me or my purchase. Delivery experience: even worse. Truck arrived and did not even ask where was appropriate to park, there are plenty of options. They stormed in a small parking lot hitting a tree, breaking branches that fell on the road and not even apologize or cleaned up when I met them at the door. I suggested to the copilot they should clean up the branches and move the truck sideways to unblock transit. Then the driver, without even greeting me got off his truck and said, i called my boss and he says this is the only place we can park or we won't deliver your stuff with an attitude. I'm glad he's boss can astral travel. He then took out the product out of the truck that of course, in all Ashley's experience HAD to be damaged in all sorts of ways. I refused delivery. They left. I want compensation for the terrible experience.
If could give a negative star, I would. This is the absolute worst business to purchase furniture through (and we have bought a lot of furniture in our life). Our initial purchase was November 2. They stated it would be 12-14 weeks. We are now at about 12 weeks, and I called to see the status, now they are stating we are an ADDITIONAL 15-17 weeks. But wait, when I actually was able to speak to a representative, SOME of our items are actually available - and that I have to go into the store (Chattanooga, TN - a 40 min drive) to speak to someone and schedule a partial delivery. But that the remaining item is still another 15-17 weeks from TODAY. What use is a fireplace when it's hot out? Such a disappointment, especially since we can't even cancel without a penalty of only getting a portion of our money back. It's not like the factory is even in the process of making our product. So they just get to keep our money. I have already stated I will NEVER purchase from Ashley HomeStore ever again, and have also informed anyone we know to do the same. Do yourself a favor - go to Furniture Row.
It was a pleasure to work with Harry as our salesperson. He was very patient and accommodating. There is a really nice selection of bedroom suits there. Only drawback is the long wait to receive, which is a country wide issue. Also, there was a lack of communication along the 6 month wait. Actually no communication at all despite the time being months longer than told.

I happened in to Ashley to look for a couple of bookcases. While shopping, I noticed that several home decor items were 90% off. I found several things that I was interested in. I ended up buying 10 items. The salesperson was so incredibly rude to me that couldn’t believe it. She acted as if I was inconveniencing her to sell me the items. When I asked that they be wrapped, or put in bags, she responded that she only had 2 bags and that they usually sell furniture, not home decor. What a terrible experience. I would not recommend this store.
Best place in town to get a good mattress at a reasonable price. Salesman Doug was so helpful and patient in showing me different price mattresses and my choice of my new mattress worked out with ease and speed. If you need a mattress, you don't have to pay Used Car Prices. Go to Ashley's Furniture in Chattanooga!

LIES AND DECEIT Update on this terrible and deceitful situation 2 years later: Not only were we sold broken furniture but less than two years after getting this mattress I discover that my back problems worsened and were sometimes CAUSED by a mattress we paid THOUSANDS for. So what we got was not only overpriced, broken junk but a medical problem as well. We purchased a 6 piece bedroom furniture set plus two posturepedic mattresses. We thought it would be high quality and we were told that it would be made in the USA. Both couldn't be further from the truth. It was made in Vietnam (it was even written ON the furniture!) and the furniture was extremely poorly made. When it was delivered (which we had to wait MONTHS for), it had broken hinges on one of the drawers and on the storage piece at the end of the bed. Not only that but the wood chips easily! We have sharp pieces on our chest of drawers. We bought this in March 2021 and even now in January 2022 it has not been completely fixed. We paid THOUSANDS of dollars for what is basically junk. We will NEVER return. Update: It has now been OVER TWO YEARS since we purchased this furniture and there are still parts that came broken and were NEVER fixed. Do not shop here. We never will again.
Great staff! Very helpful but not overwhelming or pushy like most salesman you would expect to be. Gave me the time to look and process instead of trying to sale me on certain models or features. Selection was by far the best of any store I shopped.

Went in and purchased a sofa and love seat on Jan 3. Salesman said couch was in stock and would be delivered Wednesday Jan 5 day of delivery said we didn’t confirm delivery so would be delivered Friday Jan 9. On Thursday got a call and said wouldn’t be delivered until Tuesday Jan 11. Then got a call on the 10th saying wouldn’t be delivered till April. Each time there has been a delay been told to call and talk to sales representative. Left messages and never got a call back. Most unprofessional furniture store I’ve ever dealt with and they will never get another dollar of my money!!!!!
We had a wonderful experience with this location. We dealt with Wafa and she was very helpful and informative and even gave our rambunctious boys a balloon to help distract them while we were looking for new couches!

Editing 5 star review to 1 star after finally receiving all furniture and having the worst experience with it all. The salespeople are nice. Because they want the sale. You’re working with the car salesmen of furniture. Our leather couches are peeling after 5-6 months of having them. No animals have been on it mind you. Just regular use. We also found them at another store with rave reviews for $5000 less. If I could go back and find someone else to go for all of my furniture I would in a heartbeat. We came an hour after the store opened, with our four kiddos. It could have been an awful experience because anything with four kids that takes hours that doesn’t involve treats and a playground, especially being around decor that’s breakable or has a lot of buttons that make couches do tricks, tends to just be awful. Wafa greeted us immediately and walked us through any and every question I had, which was a lot, and ultimately made it where I was able to leave very happy with every purchase I made. We stayed until almost 2 and then after the purchase realized we may have not measured our space accurately and we were able to go home, re measure for our couch, and then go back to the store to pick another because the one we first chose wouldn’t fit. With absolutely no problems whatsoever. She helped us entertain our kids, helped us solidify which couch we ended up for sure buying, and made the process that took all day because we went in not have any clue what exactly we wanted, so much easier.
Enjoyed the atmosphere of the storemand the customerrepresentives were very knowledgeable of the products they sold. We also appreciated the variety of furniture on display for our consideration.

Jason greeted us immediately upon entering the store. He introduced himself, gave us the sale promotion spill, and “I will let you look but let me know if you would like to check availability on anything.” That for us was a win. We told him we would go and talk it over lunch and return. We did just that. Same day. Exceeded our expectations for the in stock and delivery. This was a great experience.
I purchased a bedroom set from this company and come the day of my delivery I received the wrong item. 2 weeks later they attempt to deliver my items and I received the wrong item again. Then I received the wrong item for the 3rd time. Finally I called to see what was going on and to find out they told me my item was out of stock that goes to a part of my bed. So here I am getting the run around for 6 months trying to get them to take the bed back or get a different bedroom suit. To make a long story short I threatened to sue them and I still didn’t get my problem fixed. I called all over the world to try and get help but no one would help me they kept giving me the run around. So I would never be shopping with Ashley furniture again. They lost a customer forever!

The loveseat sitting in my empty house because they persuaded us to let them deliver the one piece since the matching chair had been sold, yes, it was paid for. Now they tell me the chair is discontinued and they won't take the loveseat back.

BUYER BEWARE! Furniture delays likely. There are shipping delays on many of Ashley’s more popular products. Understandably, the sales associates do not want to lose a sale, so they will give you the best case scenario when estimating the delivery date. But it has been my experience, on four different orders, that the actual delivery time is 3X4 times longer than the original estimate. I cancelled a bedroom set because I did not want to wait 5-6 months. The store charged me a 10% “restocking fee,” and they would not waive it. Logic did not prevail with the store manager. I asked “How can you restock and item that you do not have in stock?” but he was stubborn and said that he couldn’t (I think it was more like he didn’t want to) do anything about it.

Worst furniture business ever! I can’t say that for all locations but definitely the Chattanooga location. The employees including the manager are very rude and refused to help me with a delivery issue. He even hung up in my face. No one knows what they are doing and keep giving me the run around when all I want to do is cancel my order due to them delivering a nonfunctional product to me.

My husband and I bought a coffee table and two matching end tables at the beginning of July 2021. We picked up the coffee table on the same day with the expectation that the end tables would be available for pickup in early September. September comes and goes with no word about our items. I call the store on November 10th, waited on hold for 30 minutes, then was told that the order had been moved to February 2022. This review is not because of the time of delivery, that is out of everyone's hands. The frustration comes from never being contacted about the date change. The customer service has been nonexistent after the initial payment was made.

With other stores having an 8-21 week wait time we were fortunate that our choice for furniture was in stock and could be delivered within 10 days!! Will never again shop at Ashley. Customer service after sale is horrible. I have always ordered from there but I guess since the pandemic they really just don’t care. Ordered a leather sofa from them. It took months to be delivered which wasn’t a big deal. After delivery we realized there were several scuff marks all over the sofa. Called the insurance company, never got a response. Finally called the store and the gentlemen I spoke with was very rude but did offer an email. Sent pictures to the email over a MONTH ago and have yet to hear anything. Came back up to the store, after the gentlemen found out why I was there he acted as if he didn’t want to help me. WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN

I wish I could give zero stars! First of all, we’ve waited patiently for our order for 3-4 months. I purchased a dining room and a bedroom set and paid $129 for a delivery and set up fee. My bedroom set included a headboard, dresser, and chest. They delivered everything except for the dresser and chest. I canceled the chest but kept the dresser. They made a mistake and canceled both my dresser and my chest probably because the customer service phone line is soooo choppy and their service is horrible so I’m sure there was some miscommunication. Because of their mistake of canceling my order I had to reorder my dresser again which push the date even further out to be delivered and now my delivery fee doesn’t count towards my dresser. So now I’m stuck with a door step delivery with a dresser that I have to take up stairs and put together on my own which was the main reason why I paid for the delivery charge!! Their customer service is a JOKE! I’ve been on the phone with them since 9:30 am and it is exactly 11:54 am and I’m still on the phone with them waiting for an answer. Not to mention this is my 9th time calling back this morning because their phone kept hanging up on me smh. Ashley’s Furniture will NEVER see another red cent of my money again! AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM!!!!

Worse experience ever it’s been lie after lie it seems like no one knows what’s going on. We bought furniture in July still waiting on 2 end tables we were told they would be here last week now it’s December. I would never recommend or do business with them again. Update got one end table not the other one. What else can I say but worse company ever !

Nationwide company my foot. I live in Alabama between Birmingham and Chattanooga. We choose to go to the Chattanooga store. What a mistake!!! Terrible experience overall and 2.5 months later we still don’t have all our furniture. Same day we purchased some from Rooms to go and we have it all, they delivered it, and no complaints at all. Ashley on the other hand has done nothing to help us at all. They will not be getting any of my future business!!!
Worst customer service ever.
It's impressive how much an order can be messed up and no one takes responsibility for it. Was called, texted and told in the store that my furniture was finally ready for pick up. Confirmed a date for pick up. Of course when I drive down to get it, my furniture was not there and no one knows where it is. The warehouse and store communicate like little children, each blaming the other one. No one will take responsibility....no one can tell me when it will be available to pick up. I'm amazed at the lack of customer service AFTER you've paid for the furniture. Some classes on communication would be helpful.

Do not shop here customer service is horrible furniture was suppose to be delivered end of august called and wasnt ready so waited a week called again said everyrhing was there except oversized ottoman ok so waited another week and called today labor day and was just told missing 4 pieces now and wont be ready till maybe november. Then was told if we didnt like that we could pick something else. Our sales rep was a good guy but other then that horrible experience dont waste money here go someplace else i will also leave a complaint on the BBB.

We went into this Ashley Home Store location and we felt we were rushed to make a decision. Donna made us feel as though we were wasting her time. After telling her she could help someone else she seemed upset and said that she was only allowed to help one customer at a time. She did this several times during our visit. We were coming close to a decision to buy a few pieces furniture but I guess we weren't moving quickly enough for her. After her seeming annoyed we decided to leave and take our business somewhere else.
I just purchased a new bedroom set from the Ashley HomeStore in Chattanooga, TN and the experience was great! The sales person, Lathen, was helpful and courteous and never pushy. When I made the selection I wanted, he explained the Labor Day deals and got all the paperwork done quickly. Positive experience!

Note: I’ve waited over a week to post this review to see if Ashley would contact us or deliver. Nothing, so here goes. SHORT VERSION: I, who recently lost a brother to covid, went to Ashley to ask for their help in getting our furniture replaced (we were delivered damaged chairs and table) was lectured by one of the sales managers to chill because people are DYING FROM COVID and it was just furniture... it’s not been weeks and we still don’t have our table and have not heard from anyone. I’m starting to think Ashley has stolen our money. LONG STORY: Purchasing our table and chairs was full of pressure to buy a protection plan. Fine, I can hold out to the constant sales push. I finally told the salesperson I was leaving if she didn't stop pushing the protection plan (an additional $360). We were charged for delivery, as they said was an absolute must. Fine. I get it. People gotta eat. The delivery came and the table and four of six chairs were majorly damaged. Okay. It happens. They looked like returns, but I can't verify that. We sent them emails and pictures to an email address we were given and we were told that it was entered into the system. Then we hear nothing back for days. We try to call our local store in Chattanooga and can't get through. So I go up there and ask them to help us make sure our messages have gone through and that the replacements are coming. I emphasized that I didn't want repairs on new chairs, but replacements. In response to my complaints, I was told repeatedly that there was nothing they could do. Call customer service (which I was never given the number for). So I ask for a manager and was directed to the sales manager (who tried to not talk at first by walking away - he later told me he overheard my request and complaints). By this time I'm agitated and getting very visibly frustrated at being told that there was nothing that could be done to ensure we would get a replacement. And then he starts telling me that there is nothing he or anyone can do. They just sale the furniture, that's all. It's not up to them to make sure we get what we purchased. Then the manager, realizing that I wasn't going away, begins to lecture me, saying that 'it is just furniture, that people are dying a COVID out here.' This really upset me, since I recently buried my brother who passed from COVID. If I hadn't lost someone, I may have been shamed to silence, but I have so it hit every wrong nerve it could. It felt incredibly disrespectful and distasteful and insensitive to use this horrible disease as an excuse for disrespectful and terrible service. So at this point, I admittedly (and totally out of character) was loud and angry and told him not to lecture me on COVID since I had lost someone in my family. And that it wasn't the furniture, but the nonchalant terrible customer service that repeated the mantra, "There's nothing I can do." I wanted to cancel the order, but I am sure that the money would take six months to get back to us because of 'COVID'. So then, he did his job and sent messages to the people at the warehouse. Then he finally gave me the customer service number. No, we don't have our table and chairs yet, but that was at least enough to get me to chill out and leave before I really got upset. Update: It’s now been yet another week and we are still yet to revive a phone call, email, or anything. I’ve begun to wonder if Ashley has just taken our money, delivered some broken chairs, and robbed us of the rest. I strongly recommend NOT BUYING from Ashley Furniture on Gunbarrel in Chattanooga. The pressure. The disrespect. The trying to dodge responsibility. The lies and excuses so they don't have to take any responsibility.
The bed had a defect in it they sent out a man to look at it and he said he was going to recommend that the whole footboard be replaced I didn't hear anything from them for 3 weeks and called them and was told they wouldn't do anything about it .I bought 2500.00 dollars worth of furniture but will never buy from them again.

In-store service was good but delivery and delivery time was horrible. We got our bed two weeks ago without slats and with some scuffs because the furniture is delivered without padding/protection. According to the store the slats were not ordered, which is not our job. We wanted to return the bed and they would not accept it back. Horrible after-sales service. I cannot recommend them after this experience. 👎
Had an appointment for last Wednesday, THEY cancel and reschedule me for Monday between 11:30 and 2:30. I wait,wait,and wait, call about 3:00 finally get ahold of someone and they tell me they showed up at 10:45 and no one was there and I have to reschedule. They were 45 minutes early and they act like it my fault.
Horrible quality, unhelpful staff and useless customer service. I have had a bed frame from them and after owning for a while it has entirely fell apart. Furniture is cheap particle board and the vinyl just falls off when any pressure. Cheap Chinese manufacturing built sold by a team that acts like greasy car salesmen. Save your money, go to south eastern salvage, world market, or a different store and get absolute superior quality.

Ashley Furniture will sell you furniture all day long, but they know that if something goes wrong with it at delivery, no one is going to do anything to correct it. Our furniture was delivered with two pieces damaged and one drawer had the slides installed incorrectly. The delivery guy even took pictures. After multiple calls and pictures sent several times, we were promised that a supervisor would call and that a service person would come to the house to see the furniture. Of course, there was no call from a supervisor an no one came to the house. Bottom line: the people at the store claim that their job is to sell the furniture but they have nothing to do with correcting the issues. Apparently that burden falls on “another division” in the company. No one seems to be able to get any action from this “other division “, but the sales people continue to sell. Why is this company still in business? Ashley Furniture company continues to charge people for new furniture while delivering damaged and poorly assembled junk. I wouldn’t recommend buying anything from this company.
Our sales associate was Harry, he was absolutely a pleasure to work with in our hunt to find a bedroom suit! We can’t wait to get it home and start enjoying it!

Bought a couch and some other things from here and there an the extended warranty that they offered me. Please note me and the wife really did not want an electric couch because we were concerned that it may be problems but their salesman assured me that it would be OK because of their wonderful extended warranty program. A little over a year after buying the couch the couch quit working trying to use their extended warranty is an awful experience at this point my couch has been broken is broken for 3 months And from what they're telling me (After 2 months of battling After the repair man came out) it's likely going to be about 6 months before the couch gets fixed. According to Ashley since they were extended warranty that they sold me and they took my money for is through a 3rd party is really not their problem. In my opinion not quality furniture and definitely not good customer service from them or their extended warranty program. Update So they replied to this review saying contact us via text we want to help, pretty sure that was so anybody seeing the review thought they cared. After going through the entire thing again they're final response was sorry for the inconvenience lol.(see pics)

I am updating my review and giving them 3 stars now, the purchasing part at the store was easy....however, getting your ordered items is NOT. I ordered 2 accent chairs and a side table on July 25th, was told by the salesperson that they would be ready for pick up in 1-2 weeks, here we are a month later and still no items, so I have been trying to contact the store DURING OPEN HOURS by phone, no answer, just a voicemail stating the store is closed, so instead I call regular customer service, all they can tell me is that right now my estimated arrival time is NOVEMBER!!! I have never had such issues with purchasing furniture. I also asked customer service for the cancellation policies, and they told me they didn't have access to that information? How does customer service not have access to a cancellation policy? After another 4-5 calls I finally got thru to a salesperson, that told me all my items were in the warehouse but 1 accent table was on backorder until NOV, fine, no one else had this information, no one bothered to call to let me know that my actually furniture was in stock and I would just have to wait for a small table. Communication is very lacking. Still haven't heard anything from the finance company, so that information is up in the air at this time.
Always an easy purchase and all our furniture is holding up excellent even at 4-5 yrs old.

I ordered furniture in May and was told delivery in July first week. Now in Mid August I get message being delivered 8/21 and conformation sent to me. Less than 24hrs till delivery i get message no delivery for 2 weeks minimum. I ask to take to manager and will not put me through to a manager, says he will help me. Customer services are terrible!!!
They never have any inventory. Everything is on back order.

We have been Ashley customers for YEARS! Most of our house is furnished from here. We’ve always had a great experience, until November of this year. We went in for a table and left purchasing a table plus a new couch for our bonus room. We were set for delivery date of the table right before Thanksgiving, however, the day came for a delivery, and we heard nothing. When reaching out to the consultant from the store, we were told a different story than customer service. The consultant rarely communicated with us after he promised that he checked his customers orders every two days. After over a month of not having our table and hearing nothing, my husband went into the store and spoke with a manager. Come to find out our order was never complete. We should have gone in sooner looking back (it is so challenging to talk to someone from the actual store on the phone). Although we walked out in November with paperwork, our consultant never submitted our order, it went into layaway status and it was never communicated to us... We are very disappointed with our experience with Ashley this time. And being completely transparent, we may not use them in the future, due to the lack of communication, dishonesty, and no accountability for this consultants actions.

Been a long time since I’ve had to purchase a mattress/bed set and was very thankful for the help and answering all my questions! I would highly recommend going and seeing the staff here!

Salesman Cary was fantastic, not pushy at all. He was very knowledgeable. But I'm leaving 1 star because when my furniture was delivered I was damaged. Then I was told new would be delivered in 2 weeks , when I called to find out a delivery date 2 weeks later, they said the funature wasn't even made so they didn't know anything. So I canceled my order and now another 2 weeks later still haven't gotten my money back. Never shopping at Ashley again.
Awful! Right after the papers were signed, the deal started to crumble: Missed delivery dates. The original delivery date we took off work to be home during the delivery window and they didn’t show up. We had several pieces of furniture and they had various delivery dates. One piece came damaged and had to be replaced. Also we had numerous phone calls from Ashley in Florida and in Texas scheduling delivery dates where it was obvious the Chattanooga store was not communicating with them because the delivery dates we’re already scheduled. There was a MasterCard gift card reward that was overly complicated with receiving codes from a third-party company and having to plug a code into an email and wait for your gift card. Took many weeks. After finally receiving the cards you had to call and activate them. What a nightmare! Cannot imagine an elderly person who possibly is not Internet savvy being able to even retrieve their gift cards. The first bill didn’t come when I expected it. I could not get anyone to answer when I called the 800 number so I inquired at the store and was brushed off saying it would be OK. When I received the first bill it included a late charge. This happened, I believe in March and I’m still trying to get the charge credited. By the way, when I visited the store I was the third customer in line waiting to speak to the manager. I was hearing the basic reply from the manager. The first couple wanted to return a mattress they were not pleased with. They were told to take a picture of the mattress with a cover on it. They require you buy a cover that cost almost $150 at least that was the case with our bed. You are to make a picture of the bed without the cover. Then you email the pictures to another company that resolves these issues. The second customer was a pregnant lady with a toddler, Complaining her bed had broken and collapsed during the night. She was told to go back home and make a picture of the damage an email it to the company. And they will decide how they were going to resolve her issue. Even though so far I’m very pleased with my purchases, I will never make another purchase from Ashley. They have no loyalty to their patrons.
Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service!! I purchased a couch that had a problem with the cushion within 2 weeks. I went the to store twice and they told me I should have purchased the extended warranty and that they couldn't do anything. After calling customer service at least 8 times and waiting 2 months, they finally sent a service tech to look at the couch. He was unable to complete the repair because the part that Ashley sent was the wrong part. I don't know how they stay in business if they treat all of their customers this way. They obviously don't care what happens after they sell you a product.

As we entered our Ashley Home Store in Chattanooga. We were not pounced on the minute we got there which was most appreciated. We took out time and looked around and finally we were greeted by Justin. He was extremely helpful and with no pressure to purchase. My husband even like a separate chair not attached to the couch we chose and they allowed us to purchase the floor model (with approval). Thanks for allowing us to take our time without sales pressure.

He checked back in with us several times to see if we had questions, but he was not breathing down our necks the whole time we were there. We felt like we could discuss with each other what would work for us and what wouldn't. I would definitely recommend checking out Ashley and working with Doug if you're in the market for new furniture.
Salesman Blake and Manager Darryl were very helpful. We wanted to take advantage of the sale Ashley had going on but won't be ready for delivery until Feb or Mar of next year since we are having a house built. They assured us that they would hold our purchases for us until we were ready to take delivery. Blake also got us a great deal since we bought several pieces. Thank you so much to both of them. We can't wait to see the beautiful new pieces in our new house!

We had found our coffee table and end tables on Ashley's website and came into the store only to find that the prices were higher than the website price. I visited Ashley to select a new sofa. This was my second visit to finalize my purchase. My salesperson Cary was very helpful during the process. He answered all my questions and informed me of my expected delivery time. It was overall a very pleasant shopping experience and I would use this store for any future furniture needs.

I have a German friend that I have been helping that is new to Chattanooga. Not understanding he accepted delivery of a damaged mattress. Initially he was willing to just have it replaced but didn’t want to reject it because he had an empty apartment and needed something to sleep on. Since then the bed room set he bought arrived damaged and he rejected it and the replacement mattress has been delivered 3 times and all of them were damaged. I went with him to the store and tried to help get everything thing canceled but they still will not give him his money back for the mattress because he originally accepted a damaged mattress. The store manager acted bothered by the complaints and said he was lucky it had only been 6 weeks because he has some customers that have waited months on furniture, even though at the time of purchase it was all promised within a week. This is shameful because they took advantage of a foreigner that didn’t completely understand and wasn’t able to fight for himself. I tried to help but Ashley clearly doesn’t care. Even the store manager said and I quote, “I’m certain people at VE plant are not going to quit buying from us because of this because I served the plant Manager and he is happy.” This was after I mentioned that many other new foreign families were moving to Chattanooga and that my friend was sharing about what was going on with Ashley. This is not customer service. This is exactly the opposite. The customer ended up last in this situation. I personally will never go there again after witnessing this train wreck.

The brand name Ashley always makes you excited to go into the store because you know there will be variety. However the prices are just astronomical. Every recliner was $1,000 or more. I may be out of the loop, but when did recliners start costing $1,000?

Me and my wife went in here with great expectations. The first meet with them went well. Then on after was some of the worst experiences we've ever had. The sales person was friendly but lied a lot. When we purchased our stuff we specifically asked them for no partial deliveries that we wanted it all at the same time. We have gotten nothing but partial deliveries since. Nothing we got was a complete set. We will never be shopping with Ashley furniture ever again and we would extremely strongly discourage anyone from using them to meet their furniture needs. They scheduled my furniture to be delivered. I confirmed and blocked off my schedule for delivery window. I called in last 30 min of window to ask where delivery truck was. Lady said she would talk to someone. I heard a tv going in background. I heard music play twice. I tried to talk to her. No response as if she didn’t hear me. I hung up and called back. Next lady told me my furniture wasn’t even in town! I have to wait several more weeks! I end call, then I miss a call not 5 minutes later, saying my furniture is here and I need to schedule delivery. I call a third time and ask what is going on. I talk to a guy who said yes—several weeks, but then claims a second system says my furniture is on a truck and it will get delivered today. (By now 2 hours outside delivery window.) I ask him to confirm. He speaks with 2 managers and he said he cant reach truck but should be on its way that day. I cancel my plans and wait. No delivery. Next day I get another delivery notice and today again. I called store. My salesman confirmed my furniture is not in warehouse.This company is HIGHLY unprofessional! I have half a mind to cancel my whole order! UPDATE:I’m now at 4 no-show deliveries and they just tried to reschedule the 5th delivery THEY scheduled!!! When I called TODAY, I was told my furniture hasn’t arrived (after now-5 failed attempts)?!? Moreover, I’m sick and tired of this company blowing up my phone every 15-20 minutes (automated recording) while I’m trying to work! (See photos). I’ve been texted 9 times and it’s barely 5 pm. This is harassment. WORST SERVICE EVER. (PS. I received 2 additional automated calls during this review update.)

I was greeted at the door by a pleasant man that was eager and very helpful. He gave me helpful tips about how to navigate the store and gave me space to shop. He would revisit me from time to time asking if I was in need of his help. When I purchased my items it went very quickly. I have bought numerous items from this store. I have been very happy with all my purchases. I will continue to use this store as my home furnishing store.

Email to the CEO My fiance and I made three trips to the store 40 miles from our home and finally settled on a mattress and adjustable frame. The salesman Nate was great, Oleg was ok. Nate even through in a pillow and mattress cover for me which we took with us for free. We were told the items were in stock and we could pick up in two weeks. Fast forward a week. We called.to check on the order so we could get a truck lined up. We were told 8-10 week delivery. The customer service rep told us she was sending a message to the store to tell them to find us a mattress in stock for us even if it was more expensive. Again we made another trip to the store. Oleg tried to force us into a matress we did not like at all. That was in stock. A base that was more expensive that was in stock. Finally we just had to put our foot down and tell him no. He said to us "dont worry about it", we will write it up as unable to deliver as promised. He said you are "good to go". Fast forward about 2-3 weeks we now get a late payment (we never got the first one) from Synchony Bank- for free items??? I called Monday and left a message, its Saturday no call back. I go to the store and spoke with Jason the head person, he basically told me those items are not returnable, he has already billed it, there is nothing he can do. After explaining the entire situation he didnt care. Basically it was somehow our fault. Imagine that. I am VERY UPSET. Your staff should NOT be giving free items to customers for purchases they cant deliver on, and then charging them when they cant wait 2 months for delivery. Thats robbery, poor customer service, and overall poor ethics period. I will never deal with Ashley Furniture again and will advise anyone and everyone i meet to steer clear. In NO WAY would i ever pay over $200 for a pillow and mattress cover. The only reason i have it was because it was in with the deal. I am in no was responsible for the fact Ashley couldnt deliver. I expect this will be handled in a professional manner. Otherwise, i can. Since your Store Manager/Owner whatever his title is has the personality of a used car salesman. And wants to profit off his free gifts he allows his salesmen to offer knowing he can't deliver, and deem those items non returnable. This screams SCAM!!

They have so much variety and different styles of furniture the staff is friendly and helpful we went to look at there mattresses and they had so many and they were able to help us find the right one.

Ashley Home has so many so much to choose from with a wide range of pricing. This Memorial Day Sale was a perfect time for me to purchase a new recliner chair to fit the specifics I need after heart surgery. I found a chair with a sales associate who knew exactly what I could find in my price range. From the time you walk in the door the managing sales associate called the man I spoke with on the phone earlier. Didn't have to wait very long and he was quick to accommodate me with all the selections. Told him I would call and come back the next day. Which I called and returned. Delivery is promised within 2 days for personal delivery to my home. Perfect timing.
Do not order without asking how long it will take to get your furniture delivered & if they give you an approximate date, do not believe them, it will take forever to get it delivered! I ordered back in May 2021 and was not going to get it until May 2022. To top if off the manager at the store was he rudest person ever! I went there to cancel the furniture that was going to take up to a year to get delivered. Of course, I was not going to wait another 6 months. They had to get the manager to cancel the order. He came to talk to me & as I was trying to explain why, he started getting an attitude, would not let me explain and would talk over me. He never once apologized! He just asked his worker to cancel my order and left. I left there and went straight to Rooms To Go, where they were very honest about deliveries dates not like this store. I think I deserved an apology and not the managers disrespectful attitude instead. I will never purchase from them again.

David Richardson from the gunbarrel road store in Chattanooga, TN should win salesperson of the year. Then he sold my girlfriend a sideboard table to match our dining room suite for a Memorial Day sale of %20off and 12 mos 0 interest! Certainly understand the delay on delivery from the lumber shortage (since Ashley manufactures what they sell right here in the USA) but we have been so pleased with our experience thus far. We met Darryl the store manager, and he always makes himself known and available every item we are there. Highly recommend this furniture store!

I love the designs and looks. But over the years have realized that the reclaimed wood stuff doesn't last as long. Our sofa we've had for 6 years now with no issues or deterioration. But the reclaimed wood barstools didn't last a year. The wood broke compromising its strength. I wish they'd go back to using their old materials.
Amazing customer service. The only reason I cannot give 5 stars is the delay in shipping. I have ordered several items and it will be months before any of them arrive. However, this was made very clear in advance prior to making my purchase.

Prices seem fair given most of the materials and construction. We were greeted upon entering by mask wearing employees (thank you for actually caring!). Our rep was Wafa and we recommend her to others. We were allowed adequate space to explore and think through our options that best fit what we were looking for. Whenever we needed additional information we'd call on Wafa to assist us. Our shopping experience and interactions were quite positive. The marks against Ashley are that we were told earlier delivery dates prior to purchase only to be told after purchasing that we would not even know delivery dates until one month after purchasing. While we understand that furniture supply and demand is wonky it would be helpful to know accurate dates prior to purchasing. I'd even prefer being told extended dates, approximate ranges or even an honest I don't know would be more helpful information. If you are on a tight schedule avoid or pressure Ashley reps to give you an honest answer before purchasing. If you have time and are indifferent when you furniture arrives then Ashley is fair and offers a wide selection of goods.
I was looking for a certain power lift recliner and found the exact one I was looking for. Lathan was very helpful and efficient and I got to purchase it at a discount. Very good service.

Quick and easy service. Just wish there wasn't a 2 month wait for the mattress we purchased. 2 months has now turned into a tentative date with no idea when the mattress will be in. This purchase was made in May and was told 6 to 8 weeks. That time has come and gone. Called back and was told it would be August 31st. Today is coming and going, no mattress. Called again and was told another 2 to 4 weeks, or September the 8th tentatively. Probably won't happen then either. Very disappointing to say the least. I originally gave a 5 star based on service and now reduced it to a 1 star because of the run around on the pick up of the mattress. I will never purchase another item from Ashley furniture. It's just not worth the time it takes to get a product from this company.

It was a pretty good experience considering my wife had just had a mini stroke about a week and a half before. Buying furniture is starting to feel like buying a car, and it doesn’t help that almost everything is about 10 weeks back ordered. My wife had a mini melt down towards the end, and they handled it very well :)
If you are looking for furniture this place is about the only one you can still get quality and low price. I bought furniture for my new house and paid a lot more (double) than I wanted. It’s not their fault my wife wanted some fancier furniture! Good and friendly people there. Check out their sleep center. We got sleep training while there too.

I recently purchased a table and chairs from this store. It was delivered April 16th. When delivery guy put legs on table he stripped out the last two bolts for the last leg. He didn’t have extra so reported it to “Tech” and said someone would call me that day to come fix it. They had to leave table laying upside down in floor. I’m still waiting on that phone call. I called this store the next day but no one would ever answer. I went over to store to see when someone could finish the job. I was told they couldn’t help me but would email the people that could and let me know. I’m still waiting on that phone call as well. In the meantime I decided to try and buy new bolts and fix it myself. Went to Lowe’s and Home Depot and neither could match bolt. Then someone suggested I go to my local Ashley Furniture Outlet in Hixson, TN and see if they might have extra bolts. They were so nice and helpful and gave me two bolts as well as an Allen wrench. I came home and fixed table leg myself. I’m VERY disappointed in the store in Chattanooga for just leaving me hanging. The only reason they get 2 stars from me is because of the nice salesman that sold me furniture to start with. The rest of the experience was bad! I will no longer do business with this store. Teresa
I went to our local store for the midnight madness sale. The salesman was very kind and patient. I think we looked at every living room suite in the store, in my color. Then I went back through them all again taking pictures and pondering over the options. He kept looking through the prices and ship dates, then found one set that was beautiful and able to be split shipped so we could have something to sit on within a few days. He made me feel very at ease and assured me that I was buying quality furniture.
The people were so friendly and the furniture is beautiful I could sit down and hang out in there all day love it !!!!! Love it!!!
I like Ashley...I’ve purchased several pieces of furniture from them. I always have a pleasant visit, AFTER I TELL THEM I’M NOT PURCHASING ANYTHING WITH THE FLOOR PRICE. Example: in the store, they were selling a specific barstool chair for $199 a piece. Online, they were $150 for a set of two. So I always have to mention the online prices to actually get them. It’s really frustrating because a lot of people don’t realize the prices are completely different online verses in the store. They get a lot of people to spend unnecessary money that way, smh. Other than that, I have no complaints.
Service was quick and courteous. Store was immaculate. Was able to get in, buy furniture, and be on my way in less than an hour. We've always found Ashley to be of better quality than their competitors.

Buyer beware! These people are con artists. Bought furniture at this location a few years ago and they suggested I get a warranty for an item. They sold it to me by saying that if I didn’t use it after a few years I would get it back as a full refund of the amount which was $250. Fast forward a few years, I never use it and when I go to this store they tell me I have to use it as a “in-store” credit. Okay fine, I’ll get a few lamps. Oh no but wait the only way I can use this is if I buy at least $500 worth of items. Called corporate and they did nothing. I WILL NEVER BUY from Ashley Furniture again and I suggest people say away or they’ll find a way to con you too!
Their salespeople use the promise of their warranty to help convince you to buy, then the warranty company basically doesn't exist. We purchased furniture from Ashley in 2019, including a couch and chair. I was nervous about buying a cloth set. The salesman insisted that it had a warranty for the full time I was paying on it, and said that if it developed any tears, etc. at any time, I could simply request repair or replacement. We talked about this for several minutes, and he was absolutely insistent that I could rely on this policy and its ease of use. Last year one of my throw pillows tore open. After getting the number for the warranty co. I called and spent 30 minutes on the phone with them. Most of that was waiting, but when I did speak to someone the connection was terrible and I could barely understand them. They gave me an email to send photos and my request. I did this, and they simply never replied. My chair now has a hole in the main cushion, and the set I'm still paying on looks unsightly due to these issues. I filed a complaint with the BBB, and Ashley replied by simply telling me to contact their warranty company. My complaint was that the warranty company doesn't respond, thus making it impossible to file a claim. In short, please don't go here and overpay for poorly made furniture that you cannot actually use the warranty for. *UPDATE- You will see that Ashley replied to this below. I emailed as they requested and a rep replied a week later to tell me that I am no longer in warranty, as that was only available for one year. Never mind that I first reached out over a year ago and their company did not respond, and never mind that their salesman told me the warranty was good for as long as I was paying the financing off. I am literally asking for two covers - one for a small throw pillow and one for a seat cushion. I'm not even complaining about the small holes that have appeared about the rest of the couch. At this point, Ashley and DSG have spent far more energy and effort denying any semblance of good customer service than it would have taken to simply ship me two covers. I'm currently shopping with a competitor to replace their poorly made furniture, and I strongly suggest the same to anyone thinking of purchasing from Ashley.

Absolutely horrendous experience. We purchased a king size bedroom set not even 8 months ago. The bed frame completely fell through!! I called to get it fixed and sent in photos— I was told the local store manager denied the claim with no resolution for how to get it fixed. So I have a bed frame that has already been paid for BRAND NEW AND BROKEN — and was told it wasn’t a manufacturers issue?? A bed that has been slept on that randomly collapses onto the floor is not a manufacturers issue?? I would love to know what the issue is and how to get it fixed? Not only that we reported our matching mirror to be broken upon delivery and they have still yet to replace it!!! The store cares about one thing. Making sales. They don’t care about what happens to your furniture after that. So now I have a matching bed room set and no bed frame and no resolution on how to fix it. I WILL NEVER SPEND ANOTHER DIME HERE. Clearly the quality of the furniture is the same as the customer service.

We bought 10 pieces and 6 are still broken. We have been given the run around for months now from this CHATTANOOGA store. I can’t get a single person locally to call me back and help us work this out. NEVER buy from this store.I have multiple pics/emails of all the damaged pieces. I just had my 12th unsuccessful delivery today. Absolutely DO NOT use this particular store at the very least. No one has shown an ounce of willingness to help. I have left message after message and not a single manager will acknowledge me. The stores voicemail says “this voicemail box is not monitored” UPDATE ‼️ CHATTANOOGA store manager JASON finally spoke with me, raised his voice that he cannot help me whatsoever, to call the 800 number, he has no no number/email that he could direct me to, not even to corporate and that we have been on the phone for 12 minutes and how much longer are we going to be on the phone since I told you I can’t help you...

My wife and I were looking for furniture to furnish multiple rooms. We were met by Wafa who politely introduced herself and offered assistance if we desired. We took our time looking and Wafa held back allowing us time to look and talk amongst ourselves. She was always within reach when we did have a question without any pressure. We purchased multiple pieces and Wafa made the process enjoyable by sharing some of her personal experiences involving design ideas.
They greet you but don’t follow you around and pester you. They leave you alone until they see that you’re ready to talk to someone. Then, they give you the best information that you need to make the purchase. We were about to walk out and go somewhere else, but a manager started discussing further options with us and helped us close the deal, as we were ready to make a purchase but just undecided. Very professional staff, and good quality furniture. I’ve always bought my furniture from Ashley’s because of these reasons.

ALL furniture is made to order, no stock *** BEWARE, may be half a year before I see what I paid for.

I could not have been more pleased at the ease of purchasing our new bedroom furniture. We had gone into the store multiple times looking at it but with the pandemic and all we waited until shipping times got better. Today we went in with an unruly toddler and we’re really dreading the paperwork process. I will say with knowing what we wanted we were in and out and purchased our bedroom furniture in under 20 minutes. I was super pleased with the ease and speed of purchasing our furniture! We researched exactly what we want online amd went to store. First fifteen minutes it was really hard to find some one to help. People would walk by without paying any attention. Then from distance a sales rep saw what is happening and came to us rescue. His name is John Geer and after we mwt him everything went smoothly. He really had Patience, was really friendly with our 5 year old daughter and answered all her and our questions. Except the long wait on our delivery I would rate it as a good experience. We felt little different initially because when we went to rooms to go and other placeses we were freeted right at the door and offered help

Ashley Furniture will never get another thin dime from me. I purchased a 1200.00 dining room suite from them. I picked it up at their distribution center approximately 2 weeks later. I put the table together first. It was going together quite easy but when I was threading one of the cross bolts on the frame that supports the table top, I noticed a crack opening up so I immediately stopped tightening it. I looked on the other side and noticed that it was a crack from the factory because they had halfheartedly put wood filler in it and stained it darker. I immediately called the store and spoke with Jason, the manager. He told me how to expedite getting help by sending pictures of it along with an explanation to the email he provided and they would get back to me. I did exactly as he said. I went back to assembling the rest of the set including the chairs. Three of the chairs went together perfectly but the fourth was wobbly. It was obvious that one of the front legs was at least a 1/4" shorter than the other although all were assembled exactly the same way. I even took the bolts out, made sure the dowel and bottom of the seat lined up with the back and put it back together but it still had a terrible wobble. Again, I immediately submitted a second email to the email address the manager provided. After a few days and no response, I called Ashley customer service. After 45 minutes of waiting I finally talked with someone who said they would email the same people that I had previously emailed and have them to contact me. A week later and still no contact so I called Jason again and he said he would go up the line to someone that is better about getting back to customers. Another week and still nothing from customer service. I called Jason a third time and told him no one had bothered to contact me. He pulled up my account by my phone number and said the notes said that I was to take the items back to the distribution center and they would either fix or replace them. I asked him 2 questions, why no one had bothered to contact me and inform me of that and secondly, since I live 2 hours away, could I make a appointment or at least call ahead to make sure they would have a replacement or would be able to resolve my problem? He told me that he could not answer either. He said he didnt know the procedure. I asked shouldn't he know the procedure since he sells the furniture? He very hatefully said, "I know the procedure....take it back to the distribution center!" I told him that I was not making a 2 hour trip for nothing and he finally told me there were 28 chairs in stock. I will be stuck with a table with a crack in it since I have no way to haul it back but I do plan to take the chair back. This furniture is pure junk!!! They want you to pay for their assembly to hide all the imperfections in this overpriced furniture. I will never buy another piece of their furniture.
Original post - Such a great experience shopping here. No pressure. Doug was our salesperson and he was awesome!!! Edit- 4/29 . we purchased a bed room set 3/7 and it is now 4/29 and we still don’t have everything. This week we got a partial delivery only at my insistence that they deliver something or I was canceling the order . I have been told so many different delivery dates and now I can’t even get the footboard and dresser until possibly May 11?? So my mattress is still on the floor. Honestly it’s hard to believe any delivery date they give me . I wish I would have purchased from somewhere else so I would have gotten my delivery on time and quicker . Note- my original date was March 24 on the date of my purchase. So remember those dates apparently are fluid and not binding at all. Such a disappointment.
Today 3/6/2021 me and husband walked on to get new mattress & box spring. Applied for the loan the representative was nice but the Manager made sure we got we deserved credit score 770 got approved for a loan of 10,000 for credit. Anyhow I am a happy wife my husband Omg overwhelmed for $6,000 tempura pedic mattresses we just got ordered. We already have a set their 10 Years old but the new ones will last 30 years they said with a warranty! So they supposed to be here March 17th, I'll keep you posted on what happens.
I typically do not share but this was important to me, so I thought it good to share. The products have always been decent and we have shipped at Ashley before. However this time I went to look for a leather or leather like sleeper sofa. The experience was standard when I walked in the door with a sales rep greeting you to ask how they can help. She then did great to walk me over to the furniture I was looking for. This is where it turned to a typical pushy retail sales vs a customer focused sale.. when I asked about the mattress and if I could see an example of the mattress as I want to have the most comfortable one possible for my guest. She says something along the lines of we have memory foam it's great you will like it and would you like to order it now. This isn't a sales meeting where we are talking about coffee for closers and bad leads. This is a mattress transaction that a potential customer says I would like to see one and you dont ask for the sale as your answer.. I expected the pushy part but did not expect the next part where you brought in an "expert" to tell me he grew up on sleeper sofas and this one was the best to trust him... WTH and when I asked if you have slept on this one you tell me no. I hope you do not treat all your customers as if they are idiots. Sorry Ashley of Chattanooga you lost me as a customer, but thank you for letting me teach my son a life lesson on when to walk away from a company and take your money to another replace that respects you and wants you to buy something vs selling you something.. if you don't understand the difference it's ok because I am not coming back.
My husband and I have been looking for a new dinning room set for many weeks. We found exactly what we wanted at Ashley Furniture store. Our salesperson took us all over the store, offering many options carrying a table leaf around comparing wood finishes. We recommend Ashley Furniture and ask for Ms Donna Roberts for top shelf service.

Absolute worst customer service I've ever received in my life. A so-called manager named Jason was extremely rude and disrespectful after I tried for several days to reach him in regards to a wrong order that I received. upon speaking to him he told me that they were not Walmart and they do not accept any form of returns and that I needed to call customer service because he was doing nothing for me. I will never shop with Ashley's again, and I would never recommend the Hamilton place location to anyone. Go to anywhere else that will provide true customer service and will not disrespect you when they made a mistake.

The sales people at Ashley are a lot pushy even though you are telling them as politely as possible without actually saying it that you are just looking.
We went to so many stores and looked at several bedroom sets. It was really hard to decide between Ashley and a local competitor with two great sets. We went back to both stores twice and were upfront with Ashley about being stuck and they worked with us and made it worth the offer to purchase with them. Big John helped me with every question I had and dealt with all my pricing questions. He makes you feel valued and not pressured to buy anything you don’t want. Having a salesman like him really makes a difference when making purchases such as furniture. Thank you to Big John for changing my mind on Ashley Furniture and getting us a beautiful bedroom set.

Great customer service with 2 employees. Went in 1 day to look at options for my kids a new bed. Came back a week later with my kids so they could give me their opinion. They again took time to explain options and differences in products. They never pushed the more expensive products but offered if I wanted to look. Told me how long to expect the beds to last and what is best for my kids.
We visited the store in Chattanooga and had a wonderful experience. We worked with Big John and purchased just under 5K of furniture. He did not pressure us but answered all our questions. This was one of the best experiences I've had because of Big John. John made it fun while providing great service!
Salesperson was great, but whoever answers the phones there is as rude as it gets. Despite promising a certain delivery day when I purchased, I got a call the next day telling me that it would be a different day. Custom service was rude and condescending.
0 stars would be the more accurate rating. We have purchased all our home furnishings. We did this in February. The living room and kitchen furniture came about 2 months after we purchased and the TV stand door has already came apart. And we went back to exchange the worst mattress I have ever slept on in March and the replacement mattress still isn’t here, ITS AUGUST!!! and every time you call they give you the run around. I have even scheduled a delivery just to get a call from the store manager to tell me they actually can’t deliver it because it’s not in stock. Poor customer service. Horrible people skills. And I don’t think I will ever be back!

My experience at Ashley Store was just like the way I like to shop. I was greeted by Randy, I walked around at my leisure and enjoyed the store. Randy would occasionally check in with me, if I had questions. Easy and hassle free shopping. Randy was helpful with dimensions since I am looking for something specific. Great experience and found a beautiful platform bed at a great price. Will be going back to check out a Mid Century Modern set
My wife wanted a new bedroom suite, she checked out a couple of times, got me to go and check out, I also liked the quality, so I purchased for her for valentines day
DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! We ordered a sectional and ottoman at the beginning of September 2020. We were told that it would be delivered in 6-8 weeks due to Covid, which we were fine with. After calling regularly since December to check on the status of the order, we were finally told that ALL pieces would be delivered today (2/5/2021) in between 10-2. I specifically clarified that ALL pieces were in and would be delivered and was told yes. At 1:30, we were told that the delivery would be cancelled because the pieces are not in. I will NEVER buy from Ashley again, and unless you want to wait MONTHS after the delivery date that was in place at the time of buying, I suggest not buying from Ashley either.

Edited review: The loveseat we received was defective. After multiple calls to customer service, they agreed to send a replacement. I was called several times to set up a delivery because "my order was ready for delivery" only to be called back at the last minute to say it wasn't in stock! Really!?! They finally sent another one 9 months after I purchased it. The second one had the exact same problem, yet much worse. Two different delivery guys told me that this is an ongoing issue with these. I do not want to wait another 4 or 5 months for another defective loveseat. I'm requesting my money back, but to no avail so far. Very dissatisfied with the whole process!!!
We stopped in after looking online because we want to support our neighbors and shop locally. We had a idea of what we wanted and "Justin" helped us get everything sorted out. We will definitely be shopping again in the future

We were going to cancel the order then miraculously they said they would deliver it the next day. We sat up a 5:30 pm delivery. At 8:30 we still did not have our furniture. We called multiple times . We were hung up on by customer service the first time. The second time they finally answered we were told they were at our house at 4:45 pm and no one but a 12 year girl was home. They were at the wrong address, never called us , never said they were going to deliver early. Customer service tried to argue over what color our house was and the address. Once they realized they tried to deliver to the wrong home we were told they can not deliver the next day because they have other customers to deliver to. We were also told we should be happy because people who ordered in June and July still do not have their furniture. Needless to say we are looking to get a refund. Do not waste your time with this company. Ashley furniture honestly deserves zero stars.

The only reason I am giving a 2 star is because I did get to trade my hard mattress in (1 trade) for a different mattress. It has now been 15 weeks and still no couch or love seat. Not even a response or update in over a month. Update after 17 weeks i did receive my couch and loveseat. Now they will not give me my promotional rebate. I have called the store they say they owe it to me, to wait a few weeks. It has now been over a month. You can not get a hold of anyone at the store. If you call the customer service they just give you numbers to call and they cant help you either. This place is a joke

Never again will I order from here! I ordered couches 7 months ago and I finally received the last part of the couch. Only because I called the store to ask them to pick up the couches and that I wanted my money back. The man I spoke with asked for my info and said he would call me back. He calls back and says “hey we have the couch we are pulling it off of someone else’s ticket since you have been waiting longer” like really y’all kept selling the couch without giving me mine first after waiting 7 months. Ohh and I went to the ward house to pick it up because they only deliver to my location on Wednesdays. Not to mention I kept calling to get the status on it and I kept getting told it wasn’t in stock. If I would have known from the beginning that it was on back order I would have never ordered it but what made things worse is that when they had it they were giving it to other people and telling me they still didn’t have it. I’m so thankful to the man who called me back I know it’s not his fault. But the company itself is so unprofessional. I was never to rude to anyone it’s just not who I am. But I learned never to order from Ashley’s furniture. I wish I would have read reviews before buying!

Don't walk away from Ashley....RUN. 5 months waiting, 12 promised and canceled delivery dates. They are nothing but empty promises. When you call customer service you get Guatemala, Mexico....REALLY!. Don't even think of calling the store because everyone is to busy lying to the customers. Be forewarned....STAY AWy!

Purchased a power love seat and couch. Had a issue with the love seat. Ashley was going to send a tech to repair it. But having not heard from the tech I call customer service again and again put on hold for 20 minutes. Customer service then informed me because of where my home is no tech is available and they were going to replace it but it was out of stock and they would call me when in. And once again no call from customer service, and again I called to be put on hold again for 20 minutes. I then told them that according to their web site it was in stock after not receiving a call from them that it was. Again they say it's scheduled to change out on July 8th for which I say it would have been nice for someone to call me and tell me that. I'am not very pleased with Ashley customer service they don't follow thru with what they tell you. If you deal with them make sure you follow thru because they will not. It's been 10 months now and the love seat not replaced or repaired. Now out of stock so I'm stuck with a damaged piece of furniture. THANKS AGAIN FOR THE GREST CUSTOMER SERVICE ASHLEY. What a joke of a company. WORST EVER.
I don’t usually do this, but it is the only place to be heard. We had a horrible experience getting our furniture six yrs ago, the first time we purchased from Ashley, but I gave them another chance. NEVER AGAIN!! We bought $5500 worth of furniture in November, and were told we would receive half of it in December. Today I was told... on January 20th it would be the end of February!! They DON’T tell you the truth!! Beware!!! It’s frustrating!! Shame on me for believing them the second time! Ugh!!!
After buying furniture from Ashley in November, I gave them a good review. (Five Stars.) Buying the furniture was a fairly easy process and the salesman was very nice and helpful. Getting my furniture delivered, however, has been a different story. One of the items I bought was intended to be a Christmas gift. I was assured it would be delivered on time. I understand that things happen, and that’s fine. What is not fine is that the furniture was not delivered on time because someone FORGOT to set up the delivery date/time. It was in the warehouse two weeks before the intended delivery date. The furniture ended up being delivered the day after Christmas. The last item of my order was supposed to have been delivered today, 1/18. I called last week and made sure it was still set to be delivered on this day so I could be home for the delivery. I was told that it would be delivered on the 18th and the item was already at the warehouse. I should’ve received a call 2-3 days before the delivery to set the window of time for the delivery. I didn’t receive a call or email. I also did NOT receive a call or email saying my furniture would not be delivered today. After attempting to call numerous times, I finally got through to someone who said that my item was not in the warehouse and would not be delivered. This is very frustrating because I called a week in advance to make sure it would be delivered on the specified date, and suddenly now it is not even at the warehouse. (When it was last week.) Unless you’re picking up the furniture yourself, I do NOT recommend buying furniture here. It is definitely not worth paying a delivery fee for so much inconvenience.

I have been a customer since 2013 and I have always be treated the best of the best ever since I have been shopping there! I went to Ashley one Sunday (1-17-2021) In means of looking at a few sectionals, and once again Ashley been my number one place for furniture for me and my family, I find one and John was a very good salesman! So I found one and this is my third time visiting Ashley and my third time purchasing something! Was not excited about my things not being delivered until April but I will get thru it and will be looking forward to my delivery day!! Thanks once again Ashley for being my #1 furniture store!!

Donna was absolutely fantastic, I went in just to look and she gave me space and time but great recommendations. When I returned a few days later to purchase My items she walked me through each item line by line, took her time to make sure I wasn’t overcharged and received all discounts, and was polite and patient the entire time. Horrible experiance through and through. Wish I could give zero stars. I ordered a bed frame and mattress from Ashley Furniture and its been nothing but trouble. After dealing with the show room and actually getting our order in we finialized our order details and set a delivery date for October 27. Well the date comes and the delivery time comes and goes and we start thinking where is the truck? So I call up the customer service line and get put on hold for 25 minutes and after waiting finally get told that the truck broke down and I should've received a call 4 hours ago. Well the delivery then got rescheduled for Oct. 31, called again wondering where my bed is, oh another 20 minutes on hold before I'm told it never got schuduled for Oct.31. Well, it is now November 3 and I still don't have my bed. It is reschudled for delivery soon and hopefully nothing goes wrong. TLDR: Bad customer service after they get you out of the showroom and don't expect a short wait when calling their customer serivce. 20mins is the minimum.
