We ordered a recliner because my husband had major surgery. It was supposed to be delivered while he was in the hospital. Made arrangements to have our house sitter at the home. They were give explicit directions to use my phone number to confirm and coordinate delivery. They called and txted my husband phone, he was in CVIUC. Went into the store because the phone system is a disaster, sends you to a foreign country, zero help: “we are sorry but we will co tact you back in 24-48 hours to resolve”. The assistant manager assured me it was no problem to get a recliner on the truck the first thing the next morning, “it’s not like trying to deliver a sectional”. Was told delivery would be between 8-9 because he sent an urgent email to the shipping manager. Guess what? No show no call. So that afternoon I went into the store. The manager is the equivalent of Al Bundy. Took zero responsibility, and actually blamed me for not knowing O should tell the chat bot that I wanted to buy furniture so I could speak with a human at the Chattanooga store rather than coming in. Finally, three days later, a day after my husband was discharged from the hospital, it was delivered. We bought it as disposable furniture, should have bought the one from Costco; their service is 1000% better.

The guys were in a hurry to leave because their truck could not go up my driveway. Their solution was to leave and have me go to the warehouse to get it. They then suggested to leave it at the bottom of the driveway and leave. They were NOT helpful at all. They finally left it on the ground after I get someone to come help put it in the garage after they left. Terrible service.

Ashley’s has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. We bought a couch for $3000 in the first week of February and were told the delivery would be the first week of March. The sales person mistyped our phone number and email on the order slip. After purchasing we noticed the error and called customer support to update the email and phone number so that we could confirm the delivery prior to the delivery date. They assured us they updated our info. Long story short they canceled our delivery day 4 times because we never got the confirmation text. We called 5 times to update our information and they constantly assured us they had fixed the problem. We finally got the couch delivered here at the end of March. They need to allow you to call the store and not go through the rudest/useless call center in India. Will not shop at Ashely’s again and cannot recommend them.
