It was my first day shopping around for large floor lamps. My third stop was Ashley Homestore where Audrey introduced herself to me. She is very professional with customer service skills that outshine her great sales abilities. I purchased a floor lamp and she honored the price I saw at another store in town. I'm looking forward to receiving my new lamp and express a thank you to Audrey.

I want to state the staff in store were awesome and this is no way should reflect them! I ordered a bed frame and when it was delivered they didn’t put it together correctly, it fell apart during the night. I called the store and they said I had to call the main company number so I did. The agent said I had to file a claim online. So I did. All I wanted was them to come and fix it. That was almost a month ago and I have heard nothing. I have followed up and have pictures to show that there are missing screws, one leg to hold it up, and one area is stripped. I will not buy from them again which is sad because like I said the store itself and its sales ladies were so wonderful but the delivery company and main office failed to resolve this issue.

UPDATE REVIEW: A manager Angela called and did give me a partial credit for the Delivery charge. Changed from a 1 star to a 4 star. Delivery was horrible! Delivery person screamed at me. I paid for the white glove service and he told me he doesn't get paid for that or have time for that. He loaded the server back up and took off! I kept asking him to leave it!! Want back into the store and they would not give me a break on Delivery charge!! Dillon was not an easy person to deal with. Audrey however was great!!

The staff was helpful but the prices were full boat retail. $2999 (plus del/tax) for that 80" sofa was insane. A side note is that when giving email and phone number does NOT let you sign my up for consistent emails and texts. That was a deal killer.....

My wife and I stopped by to look for a new couch. We explained to Bailey that we needed something spacious enough for the two of us and our five dogs. She understood right away and showed us the perfect sofa. Bailey was incredibly patient as we tested it out for about twenty minutes, and her friendly, personable approach made our visit a truly pleasant experience.

Ordered and received PART of our furniture order in August. We waited over a month for the rest of the order. When we still didn't receive it we visited the store to inquire on its whereabouts. We were told "it's been stolen by Somalian pirates" and that we would not get it until November or December. I went in today, just to check on its status as no one has followed up with us. There were 4 women working in the store. One was on the phone, 2 were popping balloons, and the other was sitting with them (I assume the manager). I was not greeted when I walked in. When I approached the group, I asked about my order, I was told that now it wouldn't be here until mid January. I told them that I was frustrated that no one has even followed up with me. They all just stared at me. Meanwhile, the woman on the phone was asking the woman whom I believe to be the manager to help her with a phone call. The so-called manager refused to help with the customer that was on the phone and just sat there. Her words, "No, I'm not talking to them, there's nothing I can do about it!" This was the worst customer service I have seen in a long time. I received no apology or explanation for the extended delay in receiving my order or for the lack of communication- I was just stared at.

I had Bailey and that was my favorite part. Not pushy and very pleasant. Delivery scheduling is a joke and slow to receive your purchase.

They understand your every need and make sure you are completely satisfied with all arrangements before leaving. I have never had a more enjoyable experience! Joanne was my sales agent today and did a fantastic job of letting us shop without pressure and make a decision. She also explained the paperwork in detail. The only snag we had was a five year warranty was mentioned in the shopping portion of the visit that turned out to be an optional extra purchase. Joanne deserves four stars. The billing portion however, does something that I consider to be deceptive on their invoice. Their Whiteglove Premium Home Delivery shows as $ 0.00 on the invoice part, but the delivery charge is added to the bottom. I called and asked about this and was told by the manager Brandon it is done at the corporate level and the local store has no control in how it appears on the invoice. I am posting this so that maybe someone in corporate will see this post and realize this does not make the customer have confidence or trust in your company. I did not mind paying the delivery fee, I just feel like you weren't transparent about it.

They put the wrong bed on our order, and we drove 2.5 hours to pick up bed, which wasn't what we ordered. Spent 3 hours in phone calls with very young, inexperienced people to get the bed we purchased. Then it took a week for them to deliver the correct bed! I do not recommend Ashley store at all.

Update...We had to wait close to 7 months for the last 2 pieces. They just arrived today, Jan 2025, for an order we placed in June 2024. Great choice of furniture but very disappointed on the $650 delivery fee. We only live a couple towns away, not far. Would have canceled order but wife loved choices so I'm stuck paying them.

Terrible experience. I ordered my furniture and had my delivery set. The first shipment came in with a chair ripped up so had to wait another 2 weeks to receive a new one. Then they scheduled my other items for a different date. They didn't show up so I called and the lady said they needed to cancel and reschedule so I rescheduled they showed up without the furniture and said they didn't have it. So I called and they said I'd have to keep rescheduling with them till my items were in stock??? I was like ok well I have to work so I can't keep scheduling if yall arnt going to show up when I'm waiting on you to. The lady basically told me tough luck. Then I got a call from my sales rep who informed me the item was no longer for sale and I could buy the floor model with a refund. My sales rep was wonderful. So I said ok let's do it. The manager processed my refund and I've been waiting 2 weeks with no refund? So I called the store and they arnt able to look up refunds? So they gave me a number to call that can't tell me anything either??? So they said I have to keep waiting and it takes 7 to 10 days...but again it's been 2 weeks. So no one knows who I can call and I keep getting transferred around to be told the same story over and over. It's been a terrible experience. I only gave 2 stars because my sales rep was so helpful and wonderful.

I recently bought a recliner (as is) which I was told only meant no warranty. I tried to sameday return the recliner because it was too small. I was told " We don't take back used furniture," I only had it in my home for a few hrs. Bargain furniture allowed me to return an item I wasn't happy with . Disappointed Ashley!

Having just moved to Baxter, TN, I needed a new living room set. Ashley is my go to store and the Cookeville location didn't disappoint. Joanne greeted me when I arrived and made sure I had everything I needed plus she got me a great deal. The furniture looks fantastic.

My husband. And I are firm believers of treating people as if they are family to treat them with the respect that you would want someone to treat you. I have to say when we walked into Ashley, that is how we were greeted.We were treated as if we were family from the moment Nicholas approached us. We have not received our delivery as of yet. It is coming very soon if the treatment is anything like what we have experienced so far. We are confident we will be returning to Ashley for all of our future furniture needs.

I talked with a girl named Ashley Thursday and she was so sweet and nice! I couldn’t have asked for better customer service. She was very understanding of my budget! Unfortunately, I was having complications with my card as well and she was very patient and was trying to even help me. It was very thoughtful of her to take the time out of her day to help me with that.

Went in November 2023 and purchased a couch, TV love seat that reclines and a recliner. All were supposed to be electric and the recliner was not. The TV love seat, the back keeps coming off. Ashley's sent factory service men to look at the furniture and they said it was defective. We spent 6,000 plus a rug. We have talked to Ashley's several times and they said that they were going to make it right. As of today, 4/25/2024 nothing has been done. If I were you, I would not purchase anything from Ashley's. Called today and they said that there was no records of previous conversations. I feel like there waiting until my warranty runs out.

The nicest people ever!! Dylan Scott did a great job. When we moved house, we didn’t think our couch would fit through the doorway but he voluntarily came to the house and helped us get our couch in!

After plenty of “meh” experiences of shopping in my town of Crossville, my wife and I made the trek to Cookeville to visit the Ashley store. We’ve had an Ashley couch, purchased elsewhere, for years and were interested in another high quality piece of furniture. Our salesperson, Bailey, went above and beyond for us in our shopping experience. She was very informative, easy going, extremely pleasant and gave us the space we needed to truly decided what would work best for us in our new home. We ended up purchasing a complete living room set from Bailey, and she made the purchase process painless. We will be back for more pieces soon, but in the meantime we will be referring all of our family and friends to Bailey at the Ashley store in Cookeville for their furniture needs.

Very clean store, decent selection. Sales people were not overly pushy. The only thing I don't care for is their pricing structure. They like to keep it wrapped up in financing and it was hard to get an actual cash amount of what everything costs till after you agree.

I was hesitant to go to Ashley fearing it would be like the other furniture stores in town that are very expensive. It was my last stop for the day, my son and I had been shopping all day. The store was warm and inviting when we walked in and my son and I were starting to look around ducking the sales force but then one of us got us while we were trying out a sectional. His name was Nick and he was fantastic. He listened to what I needed, what I wanted and was not pushy at all. He showed me everything that would be a possibility but saved the best for last the one he came up with from all the things I said I did and did not want. It was the one I bought. He provided excellent customer service and we got along fantastic. At the end of the night I got a fantastic deal on some beautiful furniture for my new home.

My wife and I went to purchase a new couch at the Ashley store. Dylan the manager helped us with this process. He wasn’t too pushy and let us look around without being right on top of us. We made our decision and he made the transaction quick and easy. Overall we had a great experience and are excited for our new couch to be delivered on Wednesday. Highly recommend!

Definitely recommend Ashley furniture store. Everyone was so patient and accommodating with me. I have a lot of special needs and the staff was good at helping to fit me with the proper bed and price range for my needs. The main person I worked with was Nicolas, but others were helpful as well. He called one of the girls over who specialized in the particular bed I was looking at, to answer further questions.

We purchased a couple of mattresses. The staff was really helpful and took all the time we needed to make a decision.

First, the showroom is lovely and the staff helpful-but no pressure! I have purchased furniture from Ashley over the past almost 20 years. Great quality and great service.

The store manager Brenda was sweet and wonderful to chat with and my salesperson Camilla was amazing!! She stayed with me while we tried to get the great offer that I had been preapproved for but was having trouble getting to when it timed out. She also found me my couch! Saw what I was liking and recommended another one that I fell in love with! Was also able to get me delivery in DAYS. 100% recommend!

Everything was fine during the buying process except for the fact that I was mislead with the No Use No Lose policy… I was told distinctly, after I refused to take it multiple times, that I would get that money back after 5 years if I don’t file a claim! Only to find out in their own paperwork, that the money comes back in the form of a credit on a minimum purchase of $500… that’s the biggest slap in the face. I will not buy another piece of furniture here.

Horrible service we wanted to buy a bedroom set from this store because they were supposed to be “great” they are FAR from great! We were told we were getting a FOUR PIECE SET we arrived three items and one was completely wrong they refused to take it back and said we had to keep it so we get in contact with the sales man that sold it to us and he CUSSED US OUT AND YELLED AT US! If there was such as a 0 star that would be more appropriate. Wish I had read reviews before I let my son get his furniture. I am almost sure the 5 start rating on here are family and employess be cause it takes like 5 good rating to cancel 1 bad as I know how that works. Ashley furniture sales.rep. lied amd when my son finally got his delivery it wasn't right and the drivers refused to take it and pressured him to sign for delivery. He did then they said once it he furniture is there it can not be returned. He did not get what he bought and the whole thing has been a mess. It does no good to talk to a manager as they say they will l call back and do not. Choose rent-a-center, Buddys home furniture or Aaron's as they have the same quite cheaper and better customer service skills.

My in-store experience was great. However, a few mins after the delivery crew left I noticed a large sticky stain on the footboard of the bed I purchased. I had to call 4 different numbers before reaching the designated department. I was told piece was out of stock and could not be replaced, that it could be serviced. It’s been a week now and I have yet to receive the service and/or scheduling for the service. After reviewing my paperwork, we are unable to return this stained piece of furniture post delivery . Never again will Ashley’s receive my business.

I ordered a 5-piece bedroom set, 2 large mirrors, and a coffee table from "The BEST furniture store." Initially, Dylan, our seller, was great, selling us what we needed, but a mistake occurred, which is understandable. However, the real frustration began when our furniture consistently arrived broken. Each time I refused a delivery, the date was pushed back, making the process more agonizing. The manager's handling of the situation aggravated the problem. After three attempts, the manager reached out from her personal cell phone, promising to make an exception by changing the delivery date and refunding the delivery costs. However, as months passed, communication became sporadic. I eventually called the corporate number after the manager stopped responding. To my shock, the phone agent accused me of lying since there were no notes from the manager. This left me disheartened, especially after investing significantly in their furniture, all while simply hoping for a functional bed to sleep on.

Great experience we weren't planning on buying but Audrey did such a great job we left with a new couch.

The purchase process and the help I received at the store initially was good. It was downhill after that. I wasn’t home when my sectional was delivered however my neighbor was and it should have been a breeze. Unfortunately the delivery person left the sectional with a tear in the wedge fabric, missing floor glides on one of the recliners and the sectional wasn’t even put together. I called the driver when I got home about 25min’s later who told me I had to call the store rep. Numerous calls later, emails etc etc and at my wits end I was just going to return it and buy elsewhere. In short and unbeknownst to me the Cookeville, TN store had this little clause they didn’t bother to mention that says once the furniture is in your possession there are no returns! I have bought from Ashley before not this particular store but that’s absurd. The best they could offer was to order new fabric and the floor glides and they would have a technician install them which wouldn’t happen for a month after the delivery. Completely unacceptable. I will not purchase from this Ashley ever again. Something else I didn’t know is that Ashley stores are independently owned and don’t all have the same standards or procedures. Very bad business.

Nicholas was the sales person . He was very helpful in helping me select the living room set that most fits my needs. He wasn't pushy at all like most sales people. I would highly recommend seeing Nicholas for your furniture needs.

They would not even be getting one star but as it stands you gotta tap at least one in order to leave reviews. I made a purchase , got the delivery and realized once the delivery men clean all their box’s and wrappers out of my room that a chair was just too big for my space. The driver had already gone so I called the store within half hour to ask if I could exchange the chair for something else that would fit , because in the process of the delivery one of the pieces of the couch was apparently missing something so they put back on truck and said they would deliver it in a few days. Okay so you gotta come back out. No problem they can take the chair back that just will not fit …. They absolutely are not willing to work with me on this. The sales lady said if something doesn’t work just let us know. So much for letting them know my situation. I’ve made phone call after phone call practically begging them to please just let me exchange the chair and ottoman for same price and something that will fit in my space. Got a lot of run around and time on the phone with same promises of someone will reach out .. 24 hours later no one has reached out. Apparently you’re not going to be able to talk to someone with good moral ethics . The over all integrity of Ashley furniture is less than desirable. Letting your customs know upfront that if that truck leaves your drive ,you’ll receive no help on our end.

I did not have a good experience at this store today. Ive been in there a few times but today the sales person I worked with was not friendly, honestly seemed passive aggressive, and I had to prompt and ask them about everything. I felt lured into the store by false advertising and hustled by a sales person who did not care once I got there. I am still going to buy the love seat I am looking at but will save myself the experience of having to deal with someone like that.

I went there looking for curio cabinets and found a dining room table that fit into the little spot in my apartment nicely and I got it on sale. Then I fell in love with the sofa and got a good deal on that one too she was very helpful very pleasant and love her name ( lol my sister with the same name said that one). This was one place I had fun shopping in today very much enjoyed it. It makes all the difference in the world when the workers are nice and courteous and talkative they just seem to know what you want and she had a very very pleasant personality

Went to Cookville store at 10:45 walked around the store looking for furniture to fill my new house. Walked in circles for 15 minutes, no customers in the store but me, no one came to help me.. left empty handed!

Came here to browse and holy moly the prices are steep. We’re looking for 2 dressers and even just a dresser is an insane amount of money. The sales person that helped us was friendly and knowledgeable. I had a bad experience with Ashley furniture in the past so I feel like I can’t get passed that. I feel like the cost for the furniture doesn’t fully match the quality.

We purchased a few pieces from Ashley Store in Cookeville and were so pleased. We were waited on by Jennifer who was not only sweet but also very knowledgeable. We never felt pressured, we only felt "helped". She was just terrific, so patient! The store itself was laid out beautifully with some great choices. We felt the prices were quite reasonable too. We were also very happy to find out that they deliver to Fairfield Glade. 100% satisfied!

Postive experience with buying love seat and sofa. Mason did a excellent job with the purchase and was a customer friendly sales professional.

Sales experience was good, they sold me 5400$ sectional. Delivery took 3 weeks longer than expected which was frustrating, not as frustrating as the sectional completely falling apart within the first 30 days. Service manager Dave was rude and condescending. We were told service is through a third party 🙄. Dave sent pictures I had given him of the furniture broken. Service showed up and said they didn't have a work order for that piece and they were unable to do anything, needed a part ordered for a 2nd and 3rd piece that are now falling apart and new work order made. Its been 2 weeks, 2 stops to the store and a phine call still nothing is being done to fix the sectional that is completely broken and we are unable to sot on. DO NOT BUY FURNITIRE HERE!!

Had a problem on delivery they had wrong phone number so they cancel my delivery and didn’t notify me. Yet I confirmed by email I would be here. But other then everything else was great.

I am not a warranty person. I don't buy them for anything. My feeling is that I am not going to buy a product when I need the warranty to "protect" my purchase. The manager pushed a little too hard for the warranty. The sales person was great.

Almost bought a sectional sofa here but went to The Furniture Place instead. They were going to charge us $450 to deliver to Cookeville. We were told the reason is they deliver from Nashville. The store is in Cookeville.

Great, excellent service! We went into the store about a month ago & found a beautiful dining table set. Undecided to purchase, went home to think about, a month goes by & I called them & did the entire process via the phone-easy-peezy. They will deliver Friday. Looking forward to my new set.

While our salesman was great, our experience with getting our item to us was not explained well when I called to check on the order I was speaking with David (the operations manager, he made sure to throw that out there in his condescending tone that he had with the whole conversation) he was the most unprofessional person I’ve had to deal with. His lack of being able to deal with customers professionally led me to ultimately cancel my order. It’s too bad because my experience in the store was great and I would have loved to have the item I picked out while in the store.

I had an issue with my fairly new couch and the manager (Dale) took care of the issue Quickly. When I went to pick our new furniture, Jennifer was very helpful and answered all our questions

Ordered a bed on 3/6. Set up delivery for 3/11. Delivery got moved till 3/18. Waited all day for delivery. They wait until 4:30 the day of delivery, to let us know that the delivery is postponed. They want it to reschedule till Sunday. Wasted the whole day to still not have a bed. Never again will I buy anything from this store.

Was very helpful with what I needed. I didn't even have to go into the store. I forgot the girls name but I was needing a platform bed. And to my surprise she knew exactly what I needed. She even helped me get a mattress for the twin bed. She was very nice and so helpful. So I ordered my granddaughters b. We bought a bed frame in July, and was told delivery would be Oct or November and someone would call to schedule. No one called, all of our messages went un-responded to, and most times no one would answer the phone when we called the store. Our salesperson was great on the floor, but apparently had little interest in us after the sale was made. We finally got in touch with someone in March, nearly 5 months later. The next day we got a text that the delivery was scheduled for the following week. We were told everything had been in the warehouse and was ready to be delivered, so no one knew why we had been delayed. The salesperson was supposed to call us and verify delivery was scheduled and then again after to verify it went well. None of those calls ever happened. The lack of communication and customer service is almost insulting. Finally, the delivery was horrible. They did not fully assemble the bed frame. I had to completely take it apart and reassemble, and they stripped and cross-threaded multiple fasteners to the point they could not be reused. I would have been better off sleeping on the ground.

We had a lovely experience at Ashley's. We did have to wait about 30 mins before someone acknowledged us, but they did tell us they were short staffed which is completely understandable. Moving forward the selection is great and our sales person Hunter was knowledgeable, friendly and helped us get what we wanted. we looked at several sectionals and their manager gave us some wonderful insight on how the furniture was made, which impressed us because we have little ones that like to jump on couches. The salesman did not pressure us and gave us the facts about everything from the availability of the furniture to the price breakdown. Now we wait 6 days for furniture delivery. Not too bad.

Camilla was a wonderful help to us and everyone was very friendly!! Can’t say yet about delivery and set up but hoping to give 5 stars for that, too. Update: Delivery and set up went great!!! Luis and his helper did a fantastic job!! They were so neat and left no mess!!!

Hunter and Dale were awesome to work with. The selection and buying process was easy and straight forward. All around was a pleasure to do business with those two gentlemen.

I will most definitely be back to this location in Cookeville! Jennifer was AMAZING! She made awesome recommendations and was so patient. She made sure she knew what style I liked and even looked at photos of my apartment to see how it was laid out to further tailor the recommendations for my space. If you need new furniture, make sure you stop by and ask for Jennifer.

I ordered A sectional at the end of December, was told it would be delivered January 17. It is now January 25 and a week ago. I was told it would be here on the 31st. I called today and now I’m being told it will be here February 7 when I ordered this sofa I told them I did not want to order it if it would not be here soon, they assured me it would be delivered around the 17th as of now I have nothing . After I order this sofa, I have heard several people complain about their delivery times not to mention when I text the sales people that I worked with they never return text or calls. wish I would have went somewhere else. This will be my last purchase! If u ask me .. I think they try to get their sale and don’t have the courtesy to tell you that you may not get your merchandise for months afterwards.

**DO NOT BUY HERE*** Read the one star reviews. It's happening to us right now. I would give negative stars if I could. We bought November 6th. Only bought the bed because Brenda, a manager, said we would have it before December 1st. She knew we needed it. I feel like she lied to get the sale. I can't get Dave the manager there to call me back. They delivered part of the bed last week and had the wrong rails. Today the correct rails and nightstands were to be delivered but they went to wrong address. Instead of bringing to correct one, they just did not come. This is the worse experience I've had at a retail store. We just spent over $10,000 at another furniture and store and they just called. All furniture ready to be delivered. Don't use Ashley!!!

When I bought my furniture the week after Christmas, I was told that everything would be delivered by the end of the 1st week of January except for one piece and it would be delivered near the end of January. I was okay with it. Now….the 3rd week of January, other than a couple of small pieces delivered at the end of last week (2nd week of January), I am now being told by the folks at corporate that the rest of my pieces are all on back order and won’t be available, if I’m lucky the end of January, or into February (4-6 weeks mam). Meanwhile, back at the local store, where I’ve had to go in several times (one time to change the delivery address because they can’t do that at the 1-800 number and the local store got it wrong to begin with), the salesperson who helped sell and make the commission (told me they would be available in the first place), is still telling me I’m going to get my pieces this Tuesday. This has been the worst experience ever. I have been jerked around completely. The folks at the 1-800 line don’t know what’s going on and can’t help me every single time I call. Then when I go locally in person or call my salesperson, I’m told a completely different story. She even argued with me that she told me most of the pieces would be the end of January. I feel like I was duped in the beginning regarding when the items would be delivered. One piece delayed was okay, not all of them! If I had known they were going to be this delayed, I would’ve gone somewhere else and bought my furniture. Next time, I will. This is causing me to lose money by not having the space set up.

If you want to buy a couch from Ashley Furniture "Think Twice". If it's DAMAGED good Luck getting it replaced. IT'S A NIGHTMARE!!!!! I ordered it in OCTOBER!!!!! and still not what I ordered.

We first shopped Ashley when we moved to TN. This experience was just as good. I worked with Dori Bullard who was delightful. To my surprise we had previously met years ago. A wonderful experience shopping.

My issue still isn’t solved.

Terrible!!!!!! We purchased a dining room, living room and bedroom set back in July, we were told "good news" we have all of these items in stock. Delivery took place a few weeks later, unfortunately they delivered a non matching couch and loveseat, two different colors. It is now well into November and we still don't have a matching set. This store does not communicate, answer phones or call back. We've went to the store in person and we were assured we would have our coach delivered on Sept 6th, October 6th, November 6th still no couch!!!! We paid in full the day we ordered, Ashley's has had our money since July and we still don't have our furniture. Do yourself a huge favor and don't shop here, you can find all of their items at other stores and Amazon and they actually deliver the products you purchase!

If you purchase anything from this company, I would not sign the agreement. If you read it closely. They will say it in stock and 3 months later, you still don't have your items. I was telling my friend that they still haven't delivered our furniture and he said, it took them 8 months to get theirs. So I called them and canceled. I will give them a one star just because they do have a clean store.
