Ashley Furniture Review – Warning to Future Customers My wife and I recently purchased a bed from Ashley Furniture, and the entire experience — from delivery to customer service — was extremely disappointing. I am writing this review so future customers know exactly what they’re getting into. The installation crew Ashley Furniture sent was an absolute joke. They stripped the screws on three different handles, installed one handle backwards, and left the bed only barely acceptable despite the visible damage. This was one of the most unprofessional delivery and installation services I’ve ever seen. After their team caused the damage, we contacted Ashley Furniture customer service, which turned out to be just as bad as the installation. Instead of helping, we were bounced between phone calls and emails, given incomplete information, and ultimately sent only one replacement handle even though their crew damaged three. The customer service representatives were not helpful, did not take responsibility, and made the entire process far more frustrating than necessary. It felt like Ashley Furniture’s system is designed to delay, deflect, and avoid fixing their own mistakes. What makes this worse is that all of this is happening under the leadership of Todd R. Wanek (CEO) and Ronald G. Wanek (Chairman). For a company of this size, the lack of quality control, oversight, and accountability is shocking. Key issues future customers should know: • Poor quality installation crew • Damaged hardware due to careless assembly • Incomplete replacement parts • Extremely poor customer service • No ownership or follow-through from Ashley Furniture I am leaving this review because shoppers deserve honest, detailed feedback. If you value quality, proper assembly, or reliable customer service, I strongly recommend looking at other furniture companies before buying from Ashley Furniture. This was a terrible experience from start to finish. I hope this review helps others avoid the same problems.
