Looking for sofa that cats couldn't pick. Salesman showed me several but one we really liked. It was on sale too

Can't seem to get all my furniture. Shouldn't be too hard if it's sitting in Nashville waiting.

I've been trying to get my furniture for months. First the bed came but I had to pay additional delivery fees from a good up on Ashley furnitures part. They were supposed to compensate me by having my nightstands' delivery fee covered. I have been contacting them weekly but still no furniture. I'm now trying to contact the warehouse to try and pick up my furniture. It's starting to be a big headache.

Salesman was great. Helped me pick a couch that I wanted. Great deal also. Very satisfied. Have purchased several items from ashley. Will use again in future.

Our salesman was great. He wasn’t pushy and made us comfortable while answering any questions we had. Adam was great to work with and we, of course, loved what couhes we chose.

Greg was very helpful and attentive when we were browsing the store. He did not hover over us but was available when we needed help. He explained how our transaction would work, was clear on financing and delivery options. This was a great experience!

The store hours online and the door said to 9pm, we walked in at 7:10pm and a guy informed us they were closing at 7. Three gentlemen were standing at the counter having a conversation, one walked over to tell us the above statement and then locked the door when we walked out. Frankly- if you’re going to close at 7, you should actually lock your door at closing time and change the hours on the door instead of waiting until some walks in past closing.

Our sales assistant was fantastic (i believe his name is Steve).

I have had a great experience so far. Amber in the office was incredible. Very friendly and helpful.

Adam was great! It was a super easy and quick process! I came in and knew what I wanted! Luck was on my side and it was in the store! From start to finish I think I may have been in the store for 30 minutes! I also got same day delivery! I will say that the delivery service was third party. I do have complaints with them but not Ashley Furniture! They tried to charge me $40 MORE then what was on my papers when they delivered.

Michelle helped us pick out a mattress. She was very helpful & knowledgeable. Free interest for 12 months, I just wish they went over the payment schedule. They didn’t discuss funds at all which I did not like. Haven’t had good luck with them in the past but she was very helpful so hope u will be satisfied. Contacted Ashley today and found out all I was told is wrong. I very mislead. I canceled the entire order and would never purchase anything from them again. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

The salesman was courteous and patient with us while we were deciding.

My experience was fine until they delivered the wrong item and then gave us the runaround for two weeks. The manager would not return calls. They would not make their error correct by picking up the incorrect item and delivering the correct item. My husband had to load up the item and pick up the correct item. They did not offer to reimburse us the delivery cost we incurred for their error. I will not be shopping at this store.

I went into the Hixson store looking for a recliner…Kim helped guide me in the direction to see what they had in the store and they didn’t have anything like what I was looking for so she ordered me what I was looking for and also set me up with delivery and haul away my old recliner…she was very helpful and knowledgeable and I would highly recommend my friends and family to her at that store.

They have decent looking furniture but the store is nasty. The carpet is disgusting and filthy. I wouldn't buy anything in there. I've been to thrift stores that are cleaner.

Horrible experience! Couch did not fit our space and told it wouldn't be a big deal if I had to call back to cancel the order. Of course it didn't fit so I called to cancel. Was talked down to when I called to cancel and hung up on. Called to verify it was canceled 2 days later, it never was. I called several times to talk to the manager so he would know about the poor service and he never called back. Refund didn't even show pending in my account until 2 weeks later.

Spent several thousand on a couch here and had the couch for under a month and have had several issues with it. Spoke with jay and was told that we needed to reach out to customer service. Customer service has us start tickets and send in pictures and emails and then they just never respond to anything. I have spent hrs on the phone with customer service and with people at the store and the mgr just tells me they only sell it and he can’t do anything. Even though the paperwork clearly states that the couch is warrantied from mfr defects and our couch has several of those. I would not recommend

The first thing I would like to point out is the information online states that this business stays open until 9 pm. Unfortunately, we discovered they close at 7 pm by arriving after 7 pm. Please fix this for future shoppers. We visited this business on a Saturday and had to wait for an unusually long time for someone to answer a couple of questions. Once we managed to get a sales person, we were very happy with the service we received. The purchasing, financing and delivery processes were easy to set up at the store. The only caveat to this is that we were told our delivery fee would be a certain price and when our furniture was delivered, it was considerably more. We stated we were told it would be a lower price. The delivery person showed us a chart that clearly showed the delivery pricing categories with his requested amount right where he said it would be. We felt like we had no alternative but to pay him the price listed.

Delivery drivers beware! Friendly workers, but their dock is one of the worst to get into with a semi. Don’t try it in the dark as there are no lights in the dock area for Ashley. You can see the guard rail and building have been knocked around. :/ This is a straight truck job, not built for semis with sleeper cabs. If you make it into the dock, pull out to the right (impossible left exit) and go to the end of alley — there’s a turn around area back there.

I Bought furniture from the Hixson branch of Ashli As soon as I took it home, I Noticed a cut that was Repaired and than I, Immediately called the seller his name was Alan told me that he can give me $100 refund which I refused and I asked his if I can get a replacement for it. He said that he will contact me back as soon as he talk to his manager, So I stopped by the store three times and last two months to see what they can do unfortunately, they keep telling me that they’re talking to their higher up but they haven’t heard anything back. Today I went back to the store and talk to the manager he was even worse. He calls himself J he said that he cannot help me with that because we did already gave me a discount while I was buying it. Bottom line before you buy anything From the store, take a look at it first, and if anything is wrong with it, don’t ask them just bring them back to their in front of their door So they can give you another one don’t wait for them to call you back.

We weren’t greeted when we walked in even though there was someone sitting at a desk near the front door. We walked around the entire store before anyone asked if we needed help. The gentleman who did eventually help us was named Adam. He wasn’t friendly at all or very helpful. Needless to say, we ended up going a different route even though they had exactly what we wanted. Customer service matters and Ashley in Hixson failed at providing it.

Re: Alan The store was extremely busy when I arrived and Alan met me and directed me to my area of interest. He kept checking on me throughout my shopping experience to answer my questions. I have never been treated more professionally and courteously. He made the experience informative and made recommendations that were tailor made for my family's needs. At this point I am entirely disgusted with the misinformation and mishandling of my money and the product I received. From being pushed to use a preferred delivery service outside of Ashley to having poor communication on the resolution to the mismatched furniture delivered to me. How does one get a better deal on a delivery service that would have been FREE?! I would have received it only days apart and likely ones that matched saving me $100 on delivery. I should have double checked the salesman and did a little more research before putting my trust in this process. Allan, I still expect a full refund including the rip off delivery service if this issue is not resolved promptly.

My sales rep was great! I had no intentions of buying from there but he went out of his way to answer my questions about one particular couch that I was not going to buy. I was only curious and I know I made it clear that I was only looking. Most sales people don't want to do too much if they don't think they'll sell you anything. Well my rep was flipping couches, connecting cords, testing stuff and researching for me. All praise to that guy. I can't think of his name though. Beard, used to work for economy honda. The only thing I'm missing is a printout with the part numbers that he was supposed to send with the delivery crew but, other than that, this was a wonderful experience. Thanks for my new sectional!

Bought a couch here years ago and were sold on the warranty. Very distinctly remember the salesperson saying that if we don't use it they refund you the cost of the warranty after 5 years because we werent going to get it. I called twice over the years to discuss when we would get the refund. Called today and am now told "oh it's store credit, not a refund". I sure feel like I was misled. Skip the hassle, get your furniture somewhere else. Couch isn't even well made and had cracks in the wood in less than a year.

Easy, pleasant experience buying what I wwnted. Kim Bloch was able to find pieces I needed to complete a bedroom set. She beat the internet price and will deliver items in a week. Used this store several times and have always been pleased.

First week in Chattanooga, was sold broken furniture and instead of replacing tried to fix it. I will never shop at this store or support anything theley support. Look below on their reviews they only talk to happy customers. They're shady people. Run from this store.

Let me start off by saying my sales experience at Ashley’s in Hixson was not bad. I bought a sectional couch clearance floor model. After getting the couch home, I decided to clean the fabric. The couch was worn more than realized at time of purchase. I’m disturbed at the amount of filth that came out of the coach. In the showroom, the condition was not evident however I find it difficult to believe this couch only sat in someone’s home for no more than 72 hours which is what my sales person told me was the policy. I’ve had my eye on the Lavernett for a while now and was very excited about this purchase only to now be disappointed. At this point I’m not certain that I even want to move the couch into my living room as planned. I’m left with the impression that Ashley’s has no concerns with selling furniture in this condition.

Greg was our salesman and he sold us. We were pleased with price. My only complaint would be was we had to load the table and chairs because they didn’t have any help.

Excellent service! We have worked with this particular store on multiple occasions for our furniture needs. All of the sales associates were very helpful and not pushy at all. My first associate was Allan and he knew each item in the store off hand and how each set broke down without looking 90% of the time. Everyone was friendly and glad to help and allowed me the ability to work through things on my own at times. They were even able to help arrange to help us to donate our old sofa. We definitely recommend them! Thank you for your help!

The choice of products was good and for the most part the service was good. The only issue I have is that they were very vocal about not having anybody to help load the furniture onto the customers truck, trailer, etc. However, I will shop there again.

The sales person Kimberley did not know what she was doing. She did not schedule my order for delivery as she promised, and she screwed up the credit request by not putting income into the request so that it was denied based upon a lack of income. It is unbelievable this level of incompetence exists

This review is aimed at the delivery service this store uses. Allen, the gentleman I dealt with in store, was helpful. He was very easy to work with. The delivery service this store uses is the reason for 3 stars. R2 Delivery is not a good service. If they can't deliver your order for any reason (my case was the first couch wouldn't fit in my door due to its size and my place's dimensions) you still pay them FULL PRICE! At the very least they should discount 50% if the delivery in unsuccessful. But then when they came with the second couch that was measured to fit through my door, I was charged 40% more than what I was expecting. The delivery was only supposed to be $100, but I ended up paying $240 ($100 for the unsuccessful delivery and $140 for the successful delivery). When they send you the receipt it's not itemized to tell you EXACTLY what you pay for. My advice is to either A) buy your item at the store and pickup it up there or B) the store needs to find a new delivery service that is more professional about their billing practices.

The salesperson who assisted me, Adam, in store when I made my purchase was friendly, and I spoke with him in a follow up during a second call same day, 9/27. He mentioned his mgr was out (still) and that he or the mgr would call back today to assist/follow up. Within about 15 minutes, I received a text claiming the couch is not available online, even though advertised, and that since this is a franchise location they would not be assisting. I would not recommend this store at all unless you are comfortable with significant inconsistencies, difficulties with customer service, and want to pay a third party delivery fee so that your invoice does not show any delivery fee and thus they are unable to assist in reimbursing for delivery charges in any amount for third party company utilization. Previous purchases with the brand promised in-house delivery for little to no cost vs. a third party fee with tiered pricing. Extremely disappointed and frustrated that a simple price adjustment of only $29 has taken and is taking over 4 days, nearly a week to solve. I would say generally, the majority of people will/would fare better elsewhere, unfortunately. If you do shop here, good luck and be sure to cross check their site for price variance to ensure you are not being given another story. I do not recommend this store at all. Absolutely awful service and poor management of the coordination and communication of my delivery. Not only did they not confirm the delivery time of my order until I had to chase them down, but they also did not communicate to me that I would be charged a delivery fee of $70+ dollars. I was informed of the charges and charged after the furniture was delivered inside my home. I would have gone a different route had that been the case. Buyer beware!

Sales person did a good job, but the problem I had with the experience was I had to load the mattresses I purchased on the truck myself. I spent $5,000 and asked the manager for a little compensation for my trouble(2 pillows) and he said sorry but it wasn't their responsibility to load them. I disagree and if they weren't already on my truck I would have went elsewhere.

I purchased a mattress here but this mattress is not the mattress I saw in the store. This mattress is flat. I explained to the sales lady I wanted a mattress for a platform bed and this is not what I been seeing in the store. This looks like a flat air mattress. Not only that but I haven't even sleep on it because they said i have to wait 24 to 48 hours for it to rise. Now they saying I can't return this inflatable flat mattress. I have spent to much money for something I am not satisfied with.

Recliner was dropped and forgot to put remote for the recliner. Roach come out of chair when I was taking out of the truck. The sales guy was great and went above and beyond to help us and apologized for our trouble.

I was sent the wrong main piece (headboard) of a bedroom set, told that I had to call my sales person which is not possible, then told that I had to go into the store to resolve it myself. That was 6 hours ago! On a 3k+ purchase? The people are nice but the corporate oversight has turned Ashley into a non-service company!

The sales man, Adam was quite helpful and was not at all pushy. He was knowledgeable and when asked questions beyond his knowledge easily conferred with others for clarity. The chair was nice and looked quite comfortable. Hopefully it will be good for my mother for many years.

Kim was very helpful! She greeted me as soon as I walked in the door. She allowed me to Browse without feeling smothered yet she was close enough when I needed her. I found exactly what I was looking for and even an additional piece I wasn’t! I’m happy with my purchase. The delivery was sort of expensive being that I’m not far from the store. They charge per total cost of the bill rather than by distance to travel. But the delivery drivers gave me a courtesy call before picking up my items from the store. They set it up as I needed and we’re on their way. I’d give five stars but the payment system was down and I was sent an email to pay but the online payment did not accept Ashley card so I had to go back to the store the next day and pay In store. The payment process was frustrating and almost made me change my mind but I’m glad I didn’t.

First off l made a list of furniture stores in Chattanooga we wanted to visit before buying to compare products of different manufacturers that are offered in our area, stopped had a awesome breakfast with my fiance at the waffle house on Hwy 153 in hixson 100 feet from Ashley homestore.They opened up promptly at 10:00 am. When entering we where met by Ben Coffey a Home Furnishing Professional were he informed us about what Ashley is offering at this time and if there is any questions that we may have he would be glad to explain. The day I went to them and bought the product, the payment system was down, it wasn't working, it was Friday. I received a paper through which I was to receive an email and pay online. I only received that email on Sunday. The delivery was supposed to be made on Monday. It wasn't done. And finally, surprise, I had to pay $50 for a delivery 13 minutes away from the store. We are talking about the delivery of a dresser...

Went in against my better judgement because my husband likes to get ahead of his self when it comes to thing's. Didn't think about the not having no where to put it while we redo the house. I walked around the entire store and looked for a recliner and had to approach a sales person when I found the one I wanted. Must have been my age and the way I was dressed? Old jeans and sweatshirt. My wife and sister went there to look for a love seat. Found one they liked and was told the price was $499. Went back the next day and the same salesman told us that was $620. When we asked about the $499, he admitted that he told my Wife that yesterday, but could not sell at it that price. 1st excuse is the computer would not let him. 2nd excuse was that price was "at cost" and he would get fired if he sold it at that price. 3rd excuse was that he could sell at that price but would not make any money. We still like the couch, but do not want to give any money to a store that is that shady.

We just KNEW we were in good hands shopping at an Ashley Store. NOPE!!! I am BEYOND DISAPPOINTED in the service received from this store. The initial sales rep was very nice but, NO ONE explained that they have a NO RETURN or EXCHANGE policy unless your item is damaged. Once you pick up or sign off on delivery YOU ARE SCREWED. We ordered barstools taller than what they were able to show us in the store. When my husband put one together, it was too tall for our island. We only wanted to EXCHANGE them for shorter ones. We REALLY thought this was going to be a simple exchange. SMH!! After calling the store and the Guest Care Team many many times, I finally got someone to answer and was told a supervisor would be contacting me - I NEVER RECEIVED A CALL. SO... I called the store again and was told the General Manager would contact me on 4/20/23 - STILL NO CALL. I called back 4/21/23 - spoke with Jay who said he was the GM and had to contact corporate. We received a call from Patti at corporate stating NO EXCHANGE or REFUND. NEEDLESS TO SAY, WE HAVE NO PLANS ON "EVER, EVER EVER" SHOPPING HERE AGAIN!

If you’re african american I WOULD NOT shop here. My bf purchased a dresser on 3/26/23 and was told they would hold on to it until we had a truck to come and get it.. mind you My boyfriend paid CASH in full for a $400 dresser and when he went to pick it up 4/4/23 they acted as if they wouldn’t be able to give him the dresser without seeing proof of a receipt .. Initially they never told us that we had to bring back a receipt and they couldn’t even find my boyfriends information in the system about the dresser and was not gonna let us get our $400 back OR the dresser ! But when I started talking about calling the police all of a SUDDEN they magically found the paperwork and gave us our dresser . DONT waste your money here . Go somewhere else rs ew .

I have a complaint, not with the salesperson, but with delivery. No communication, no confirmation of scheduled delivery. The deliverers woke us up at 7:30 a.m. we were not prepared to receive a delivery that early, not did we expect a delivery today, Tuesday, April 4th. We we're expecting the delivery on the 5th, because we were going out of town. There was no phone call to inform us as to when the delivery would be. The other complaint is that all business is done by texting. I don't like texting. I'm 81 and I like to do business with a live person. You need to have better communication with the customer. There was no confirmation of delivery. Not good! I tried to touch base with Jenny, but no response from her. How would Jenny, or whoever, communicated with me if I didn't have a cell phone? Is this the way Ashley does business? If so, not good!

Update to original post: We had a great shopping experience with Ben at Ashley Furniture in Hixson, TN, and originally gave a 5 star review. However, I would change this to 0 stars now if possible. My husband and I bought a 3 piece living room set & 7 piece dining room table and chairs. Everything was supposed to be delivered today, but we only received 2 of 10 pieces! The couch and loveseat are great. The recliner they sent was the wrong color & the delivery guys took it back. The table & chairs weren't picked up this morning, but they're in the warehouse in Chattanooga. We were told by delivery that they could be delivered today if requested. When we made that request we were told it would be April before we get them. Unacceptable! We have spoken to two people who are trying to resolve this issue, but they can't get us an answer. This has been going on for hours now & still no answer when to expect the rest of our stuff. There's no reason why this can't be resolved immediately! We paid cash for the purchase so we are not a priority to them now. That's how it feels at least. Very disappointing! Original post: Ben made our Ashley experience great!

This is the worst place on the planet to do business with so the only reason this review is getting a star is I couldn’t post my review without doing so. Don’t get me wrong, we had a great experience with the salesman; however the company on a whole is terrible! We didn’t receive our furniture delivered as we were told, no call & no text. Calling the main number was a big joke, couldn’t understand the person on the other end, finally had to go back into the store to find out what was going on. Almost 3 weeks after the original delivery date, our furniture arrived & while setting up the bed we were told the parts to the bed frame were not in the box & someone would be coming out with them to complete the setup. After another 2 weeks went by they came in the mail. We contacted the sales person since calling the store was no help & was told as soon as an opening came up, they would contact us & come out to complete the installation, (still waiting as I am writing this) so my husband calls the sales person & was told when he was hired, the company had him sign a contract they are not allowed to help the customers once they leave the store. Have you ever heard of such a thing? Needless to say we are still waiting! So if you are shopping for furniture, save yourself from all the frustration we are going through & stay away from Ashley Furniture!

Has got to be the worse experience I have ever had! If I could rate 0 I would!. Do not buy! We bought $1000 mattress and soon as we cut open the plastic it had a horrible smell coming from it and a plastic inside the mattress they won't exchange it. All sales are final. And customer service is a joke. I could hear a rooster in the background while on the phone and they are saying they can't do anything! Complete nightmare

The people that work at the outlet are very friendly, nice and has awesome customer service. The furniture from Ashley isn’t worth the wait or price. I had problems with my bed had to come out several time for service call. Big lots furniture is better, Employees from the outlet gets a 5star not the quality of the furniture.

Well, the piece that I bought broke when they were loading it, but the next day it was fixed and the price was dropped significantly. I love the piece, and they fixed the issue. Accidents happen. All is well. The piece looks great in my house. I even bought some more tables as well.

Pitiful !!! Bought a bed and it’s horrible. Ask about returning it to no avail !!! I felt like we were being taken when we were in the store and sure enough we were. It even felt like the salesman and mgr were scheming together!!! When I ask to return it I was told no it was on clearance. Did not even care about it at all!! Had our cash money and did not even try to help !! Never Again and I will warn everyone I talk to !! Need to post it on TikTock and let everyone know you store practice !!!!

By far the worst experience I've ever had in my 51 years of existence. I was given the run around at every turn. They are quick to make empty promises and take your hard earned money but it stops there. I was lied to so many times!

I bought a couch over a month ago, scheduled it to be delivered last Friday, called customer service was told it could not be delivered on Friday so I scheduled it for Saturday, was told on Saturday could not be delivered on Saturday so scheduled it for Thursday told them it had to be in the afternoon, they tried to deliver it at 8:30am knowing no one was home was told they could deliver it on Saturday, called them today(Friday) was told could not deliver it till Tuesday. I asked for a refund was told it was going to take 5-7 days to get a refund. It didn’t take them 5-7 days to take the money from me. Ashley furniture stores and customer service are the worst. I recommend people not to buy or even visit Ashley. DO NOT BUY FROM Ashley!!!! DO NOT BUY from Ashley. They are a sorry excuse for a company.

This place so trash. Had to wait on an order for over a month and no one calls and says when it’s distributed to the warehouse or know when it got there. Customer service trash towards colored people, representative acted like she didn’t want to notice me. This place is trash and service is trash, wouldn’t recommend against any competitors. I bought apx. $7000 worth of living room furniture. I had picked out a table to go with the living room furniture and it had to be ordered. Long story short, 5 months later I was still waiting for my table. After given dates it was supposed to arrive., the salesperson pressured the manager to let me have a floor model. This was a question I had ask several weeks ago but was told that could not be done. I did take a floor table which had a few blemishes. I have talked to the sales person and expressed that for the inconvenience I felt I should be refunded the difference I paid between the store credit and the actual price of the table which was apx $60. I feel the salesperson has done all she could to right the situation. I am very aggravated that the store manager was not willing to resolve the situation. He could have let the floor model go weeks ago and possibly there would have been no damage to the table I finally got to take home. There was one more table on the floor which had significantly more damage than the one I brought home. I do not understand why he waited so long to let me have the floor model when it is obvious the table is not available because I have waited 5 months and would still be without a table if I had not taken the one from the floor. This took place at the Ashley outlet store in Hixson.

Jacob & Kim at Ashley Furniture are the best! They took such good care of me! They were patient, kind & caring, & professional. I had been in several times over a period of a few months. I had told a friend about finding the sofa we both were wanting & to ask for Jacob at Ashley Furniture in Hixson, as he had helped me each time. We ended up going to Ashley together & she bought one. Jacob spent a lot of time assisting us both. I made arrangements to come in the following week to buy a sofa from him. I went back today & Jacob had just left. Kim offered to help me & write everything up in Jacob's name, & she did. True teamwork is rare but Kim & Jacob certainly are a great team. She took a good bit of her time assisting me & she wasn't even getting credit for the sale. I never felt pressured & they always took the time to answer all my questions, & even helped me take measurements. I highly recommend Ashley Furniture and Jacob & Kim! THANK YOU!!!

I had a relaxing, wonderful experience at the Ashley Homestore in Hixson. I highly recommend my salesperson, Jacob Mayes. I appreciated his knowledge, patience, and willingness to get out the measuring tape to be sure my selection would fit in my home. I’m not able to take delivery for 6-8 weeks — no problem! This purchase has been a nightmare!!!! They are very nice until you call weeks later and ask where your furniture is. Delivery is another story. No one can speak to delivery!!!! They can only send messages. I will never shop here again. I would return every item if it weren't for my daughter. We've waited weeks and weeks for this merchandise. We ordered our dinning room furniture over 2 months ago however after lie after lie no return calls and no one at the store will answer the phone we are still waiting for the server to come in. I will never shop at Ashley's ever again I had to give a 1 stat but would have rather have much rather given nothing.

Purchased sectional, salesman was very professional, good experience with him. After that all is downhill. They give you a 3 hour time for delivery. 10:45- 1:30 time frame for me. It is now 5:30 and still no merchandise. Called the store number and it is a call center that answers and has NO INFORMATION whatsoever on delivery. At 2:00 I asked for the delivery driver to contact me, so I could find out a time, as we have things to do. Canceled those appointments still waiting for my delivery. Customer Care service is useless and after reading reviews this is a ongoing issue. I should be refunded the entire delivery fee of 190.00. If my order that is already paid in full, does not arrive today. I will be at the store first thing tomorrow for a full refund. I suggest you look up reviews for Ashley Homestore and buy elsewhere.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. We went to Ashley to find a couch, found one we liked, and we were told there were 4 of the same couch in boxes in the back. We didn’t have the time or resources to pick the couch up that day, so we were told we had 5 days to pick it up from purchase. My husband went to go pick it up after work today, and they sold “the 4 that they had in box” before we got a chance to pick ours up. Instead of putting OURS to the side, they were classic sleazy salesmen and treated us less than human. We did get our money back, but do yourself a favor and go ANYWHERE but here.

So helpful it was a great experience will definitely go back when I need something else. Thank you guys

With merchandise ranging from discontinued floor models to new furniture ordered from the factory, there’s new high quality furniture here for nearly any budget. Purchased a king matress and box spring from this location. Worse experience ever. The sales guy sold us the wrong box spring because it was more expensive and a better sale for him not the customer. After we received our bedroom set we opened the box with box spring and noticed the box spring was the tallest height and usually the standard is sold which is what we preferred. Due to being outside of their small window of 48 hours, we were unable to return unused box spring. Be aware of slick sales person at this location. Be sure to check your items when delivered right away to make sure it's the right item. Very poor and unethical customer service. Will not spend my money here again.

We went in to the Hixson store to browse for 3 items. Our salesman Ben was such a good listener, after telling him what we were looking for he helped us find exactly the right items. Two were on the floor, one he helped us find on the Ashley website. Pleased and satisfied with the extra savings of the President's Day specials, we left excited for our new furniture pieces, arrival within the next week. All items were in stock and the deliver fee was super reasonable. Thanks Ben!!

Only reason is not 5 stars is because they accidentally sold me a king mattress for a queen bed frame. Honest mistake, but to get 5 stars, entire transaction would need to be perfect.

I went in to just look around since I has just finished an early morning doctor’s appointment. Something would certainly cheer me up at Ashley Furniture Store! The gentleman can up and very nicely asked me if he could help me? I replied, “I just wanted to look around at what they had for sale.” Afterwards I walked the store every time I walked by a store employee, they very kindly ask if they could help me; I replied the same to them as I did the first sales person! They all respected my privacy! They did not act like most sales people do in other stores with high pressure sales tactics. I keep walking around and stopped to speak to another customer who was looking at a shelve unit and low and behold right beside her was the sofa table I wanted. The sales man filled out all the paperwork and I was out the door in no time! I have all purchased my new Temper-pediatric king size bed at the store as well. The Ashley Furniture Store on Hwy 153 is an excellent store with excellent customer oriented services. I give them a 20 out of a scale 1 to 10!!!! Their great to deal with. I will return again and again to shop there for my furniture needs!. Thanks guys your the greatest!

Super happy with our shopping experience, today. Kim didn't hover over us, but was always close by to answer any questions, extremely knowledgeable about the furniture and mattresses and not pushy. We bought a Kingsize Therapeutic Mattresse and complete bedroom suite from her. We plan going back to Ashley's and asking for Kim in a few months, after painting the great room, and purchasing a living room suite from her.

Due to a big life shake up, I found myself having to purchase furniture. I went to all the regular places first and found out that orders can take 2 months to be delivered. Walking into Ashley Outlet i was able to see and pick up same day from a pretty extensive showroom. Sales did not push or prod me, but answered questions. I was also instructed to look on the website and call my sales guy if i saw something I liked, and he would look out for it. Great, easy and painless process. Thanks Ashley Store

My experience with Ashley Home Store Outlet has quickly becoming the worst customer experience IN MY LIFE! I ordered a complete bedroom suite in July. I understood and accepted that due to low inventory and lack of delivery associates that I would be waiting. I was initially told to expect delivery mid-August. Then I was told mid-September. On my follow check of my status in mid-September, I was put off yet again to mid-October. THEN I received a phone call the next day to expect delivery this week. That was going to be great news as this furniture was for my son, desperately need and much anticipated. I prepped his room for delivery (which means removing all old furniture and taking down his old bed). I even took off work to ensure I would be home for the 3 hour time frame that I was given. I received a call from the delivery team when they were still 2 hours away from arriving at my home (AN HOUR PAST THE EXPECTED TIME) to inform me that they did not have all the pieces to assemble the bed. Now I have pieces of a bed that cannot be used. I have been trying to reach someone in the store since 10 a.m. and keep getting routed back to customer care that has informed that they cannot help me. On my last attempt to reach the store by phone, I was told I should just go to the store! This has by far been a very discouraging and disappointing experience. I will not recommend this store to anyone, and at this point, may likely take my current and future business elsewhere!

The worst place i have ever been. I'm still waiting for my bed after 11 weeks. When I was told 4 to 6 weeks. Now it is o we will have it next week. Will never deal with this store again. Now after canceling it is going to be 4 to 6 weeks to get my down payment back. This is a joke. Never will deal with Ashley again. Worst customer service ever

If i was able to remove stars, I would. Ordered a sectional for delivery at the end of July & was told it wouldn't be here until Sept, but we needed paid the independent contractor upon delivery. Here we are in Mid Sept & i was told it would be delivered on 9/14 (I have numerous records stating it would be delivered at this point). I messaged them to see if they could give me an estimate on what time it would be here & this time they said it was NEVER set up for delivery. Now I can't get anyone to help either via text or calling- got hung up on after being on hold for over 30 minutes waiting to speak with a supervisor. When I called back, the call center was rude, refused to give me my order number until I screamed at him & refused to let me speak to anyone else. I really hope this place shuts down as they provide NO USUABLE SERVICE.

I was there about an hour ago and no one ever acknowledged we was there. I take that back a lady spoke as we walked past her to go out the door.

Ben was great! So patient with me and my daughter. I was looking for a mattress, and then I was looking for a new couch for her and her husband. I didn’t really find a mattress I fell in love with, but we found the perfect couch for her! Ben didn’t hover, he let us wander around, try out the nice reclining couches, at one couch I could have fallen asleep. He said “I’ll set the alarm for 8pm.” When I wanted to try a recliner that didn’t have a battery pack attached, he went and found on, and thank goodness he did, because that was the one! So, take yourself to Ashley Homestore Outlet in Hixson, ask for Ben, you won’t be disappointed!

Sold me a $3,000 bedroom suite. The five drawer dresser had this little black piece break. Now the outsides of the dresser won't hold in so the drawers won't ride on the track. It's unusable. I called their parts department and was told that the part isn't able to be ordered even though the set is still sitting on the showroom floor and is a current set. Don't use Ashley Furniture. $900 for a pressed wood piece of junk that can't be used. EDIT: since I can't figure out how to reply to the owners reply, I'll go ahead and let everyone know that I've called every corporate line that Ashley Furniture has including the parts number from the website, the customer support team, and all the subsequent avenues so I don't think it's necessary to call your other number anymore. I was told the part is not orderable. A two inch piece of plastic isn't orderable? Are you joking? I can order each individual piece of wood on the website but not the one piece that is critical to the drawer function? Yeah, okay. Oh, by the way, I was informed had I bought the extended warranty that part would be orderable. Wow. What a shock. Who would have thought that a multi million dollar furniture company that has been in business for decades would just so happen to not foresee such a "hang up" in your system?

Unethical to put it simply. Beware of “as-is” because that means they’re selling you a broken or defective item! We bought this couch not knowing it was broken in the middle and sags like you can see in the photo. Contacted customer service and they pretty much said you bought it that way so tough luck. We will not be shopping here again.

We had the best experience at Ashley home store. Our sales representative took personal care of ensuring we understood all costs and timing of delivery for our purchases. Having only lived in the USA for 2 weeks, his kindness and professionalism and genuine personal attention was unparalleled. He went over and above all expectations, telling us about places we should visit and things to experience in our new town. The furniture and layout in the store was beautifully presented, the quality of goods was excellent and the prices were affordable. We have an entire home to furnish, and I most definitely will be going back for all the extras we are going to need.

Do not order from this store. We ordered a couch set in mid March. A delivery time was set for May. We sold our existing furniture in May. After the furniture was not delivered we followed up to learn that it was pushed back to June. We followed up again to learn it has now been pushed back to late July. 1- No one has communicated anything to us. We have done all the legwork and follow up. 2- No one has offered an apology. 3- Management should've been up front about potential shipping delays presale. We were misled. 4- We are not enjoying sitting on lawn furniture.

My initial experience was great. However, I purchased a couch on 05/29 and was told it would be delivered in 4-8 weeks. Cool. Made arrangements to sell my current couches and as 4 weeks approached I called to check on my order and it’s a good thing I did because apparently on 06/01 my order was canceled. I was NEVER informed of this cancellation, nor was a refunded my $1400. Tried calling multiple times and no one would answer. Reached out to my sales rep-nothing. Finally went into the store and no one could tell my why my order was canceled or why they kept my money. Now no one can tell me when the couches will be delivered, and in the mean time I’m sitting on lawn chairs. Never offered a discount or any answers. Very disappointed in the lack of communication because I was hopeful this would be a great experience.

Had a great experience! Micah was super helpful, honest and helped me take my time to make the right purchase. Definitely didn’t feel pressured or rushed at all and left feeling like he worked with me to find me the best price for my purchase. Looking forward to enjoying my new furniture soon!

**UPDATE** I finally got my furniture today, August 3!! That's right, 18 weeks after I ordered and handed them thousands of dollars. My biggest complaint is their lack of communication. The estimated date of delivery changed multiple times but I was never notified!! I had to call, text or go by the store to get any updates. The furniture is perfect and I love it. The delivery guys were super nice and apologetic though it was not their fault. **Original post**Went shopping and fell in love with some furniture at Ashley. Ordered and paid for 2 couches on March 27. Was told it would be delivered in 8-10 weeks. 6 weeks in, I sold my living room furniture in preparation of the arrival of my new furniture. Big mistake!! I'm now in my 12th week of waiting and have been told it'll be at least 2 more weeks before it arrives!! Customer service is not apologetic at all!! I know it's not their fault but they have no sympathy and their "customer service" skills are lacking!! I guess since Ashley already has my money, there is no rush on their end. So frustrating!! I've always bought, used and supported Ashley but this has been a bad experience. I was warned by 2 other people about a similar issue that they had with the same store but wanted to show my customer loyalty. Lesson learned!!

And to top it off he screwed our order up. My wife and I ordered 2 stools, white legs with brown tops, we get 2 stools with gray legs and black tops. We also ordered 2 recliners. They didn’t have them in the store but told us they would deliver them. My wife received a call to come to the store to pick up 1 recliner. Ben Coffey has been a nightmare to deal with and has made no attempts to make this right. I will never spend another dime at Ashley Furniture!

My wife and I had been looking at king size bed options when we visited this Ashley HomeStore in Hixson, TN. We worked with Ben, the assistant manager, who was very professional and knowledgeable! He gave us all the time we needed to make a great decision on a new Tempur-pedic mattress and bedroom set! I would highly recommend Ben and this Ashley HomeStore location!

Instore service is fine. Delivery is a joke. I ended up cancelling at $7500 order that I waited six weeks for due to a communication error and poor attitude of delivery team.

The sales associates at both Ashley stores are awesome! We have purchased through Ashley before & the products are great. Ben was extremely helpful, answered questions and wasn't pushy about making a sale. Once everything was purchased, Ben also gave us his number, incase we had questions. I recently purchased a table and chairs from an Ashley Furniture Store in Chattanooga, TN. When it was delivered the table just needed the legs put in. Chairs were already assembled. The young man putting on legs stripped the last two bolts for the last leg and didn’t have any extra. He said he reported it and to “Tech” at distribution center and someone would contact me that day. That was April 16 and I’m still waiting on that phone call. I tried to call store to explain my problem but no one would answer phone. I went to store and reported problem still no one ever contacted me. In the meantime, I went to my local ASHLEY FURNITURE OUTLET STORE in Hixson, TN with the 2 bolts to see if they had any extra. THEY COULDNT HAVE BEEN MORE HELPFUL. They found the bolts and even gave me an Allen wrench. I came home and fixed my leg myself. I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THE STORE IN CHATTANOOGA AGAIN. But if you want friendly, helpful service, go to ASHLEY FURNITURE OUTLET in Hixson, TN. I wish I had dealt with them to begin with. Thanks guys for helping me out!!! Teresa

Today I decided to finance my first couch ever and had an excellent experience! I dealt with Makayla at the store off 153 in Hixson and she was amazing! Answering every single question accurately and professionally! I feel great about this purchase and have confidence that delivery will go smooth! We came in, honestly, just to get a couple of dining chairs. We were greeted by Benjamin Coffey, who is extremely friendly and was excellent with our kids, and he told us about the current deals. We found a whole dining table set that we really liked that was discounted, he said he'd try and get it more discounted, literally went through and individually discounted each item! There is 8 chairs and a big table! Saved an extra 350 dollars on the already 1000 discount. Very nice, friendly, was not pushy at all. Recommend 100%

I wish I could give 0 stars. We waited a month to get the furniture we ordered. We sold our furniture the week of so we could have room for the new set. A brand new set that cost us $2,200. They call us and say that they can't deliver it to us because of the hill we live on (didn't think to prep or anything I guess,) tell us to reschedule. Wont give us an exact day. Every day was, "It will be there tomorrow. Okay best I can do it Friday. Possibly Saturday. Monday the latest." Then call us back finally to tell us that they dont have our set anymore and are trying to give us a clearance version of the set. After a lady from their main office apologized and offered compensation, this store says they wont do that. Do not shop here. This was a waste of a month waiting on this. Poor communication with customers.

Went online and found a few couch and loveseat sets I liked. But knowing how it goes with online shopping I wanted to try them out. So called the local store in Hixson, TN to see if they had them. Spoke with Amber who was SUPER helpful and found that they did have them and told me I could come anytime to try them out. Only thing is they didn’t have them in the color I wanted. No big deal. Color didn’t change the feel. Went to the location with the good online sale prices in hand. Ran into Benjamin there. Told him what I wanted and he took me right to them. Tried them out and picked a set. Then we were talking price. Asked if they had the same good sale prices as online. He looked them up and they actually had them CHEAPER! Benjamin was such a big help through the whole process. Normally I hate buying furniture because it is so overpriced and under quality and the sales people usually suck. Not the case here at all! Great experience I actually felt good about at the end of it. Would def recommend. Ask for Benjamin. Great guy!

I “stumbled” up on this store while in the area. I found a sofa i really in the clearance (final sale), but was unsure if a stain would come out. As I continued to browse, Kevin, my salesperson advised me he might have a new one in the warehouse. He checked it and another piece I’d been looking at. I decided to think about it overnight, so he write up the quote, because he was off the next day and the information would be in the system. He came into the store the next day—— his day off to finalize my purchase! Kevin was very helpful and not at all “pushy!” His customer service was over and beyond what is expected. It was a pleasant experience.

Visited and spoke with Kevin Wellwood, his level of product knowledge, and company operations made the experience the best I’ve ever had with a retail business.

Go to Big Lots if you are looking for dressers or night tables. They have the exact same items at Big Lots for 100 dollars or more cheaper. We were pretty shocked. Also, the "clearance" furniture at Ashley is damaged.
