Went in store to order new furniture for a house me and my fiance were purchasing and while the sales process was simple and Amelia did an excellent job being knowledgeable and helpful. Everything since has been nothing short of an absurd comedy of mistakes and errors. When they delivered our furniture the installers damaged our dining table by over tightening the bolts on the underside of the table to the point where humps formed on the table top. Luckily, that was replaced fairly quickly within two weeks with little hassle. When we finally got our bed and sheets in we slept on our new bed for ONE night fine, but the center support beam splintered and split on the SECOND night from normal use. I called to ask about replacing that and was told to file a warranty claim. Hahaha yeah right. No shot im filing a claim on a piece of furniture that was used once and was improperly installed (screws where over tightened causing the wood to splinter) so I reached out to our helpful sales rep with photos and she said she’d get it in the process to be swapped out. That was two weeks ago. I am glad we have a guest room with a second bed set or otherwise my pregnant fiance would have to sleep on an air mattress while Ashley Furniture does…. Nothing? Completely appalling. Utterly nonsensical I will be telling anyone who will listen to steer very far clear of Ashley Furniture and the destructive “white glove” installation, they didn’t even remove the plastic from the dresser, chest, and nightstands when installing the handles. I had to go back behind them and remove the handles to get all the plastic off. Use Wayfair instead if you can put together the furniture yourself or literally any other furniture store. Edit: The number the store replied with was the generic help line who then directed me to the claims department. So far ive been in contact but as of this update I have not received response in almost 24 hours. Not surprised. The customer service department is sending me the replacement parts which will be here in 2-4 weeks. I guess im expected to do their job and put the bed together myself now? Probably for the best, the “white glove service” would probably damage it again anyway. Laughable company The Jokes keep pouring in from this absolute clown show. After filing a bbb complaint someone from corporate reached out to resolve this and had me down for delivery of a new frame today between 12:15 and 3:15. Im not even shocked they no called no showed just disappointed. I’ll be filing another complaint with the bbb and this time i expect my bed AND my $10,000 refunded. Since they want to play games.

As a response to their response: Your words are as hollow and unhelpful as your actions to this point. Asking me to call a number just because your corporate bosses require you to doesn’t resolve my issue especially when most of the people on the other end of that line are just as clueless as you are. I have never had this much of an issue from any store with anything and it genuinely makes me wonder if this is entertainment for you.

They are not very friendly or welcoming. Upon entering, no one greeted us or offered to help. There was a gentleman that watched us walk around aimlessly. As we approached the help desk, again, not a single associate addressed us or introduced themselves until we had to grab someone’s attention. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced such a lack of customer service. Furniture wise, they do have a decent selection but we were also able to find the EXACT same sofa for $200 less at a different store. So definitely shop around.
