Today on October 4th, 2025, we purchased a kitchen table set that I had been looking for online. I called the store in advance before going into the store which was fairly close to me, about 40 miles away. When I spoke with the salesperson named Kevin, he answered all my questions about length, width, and height and his inventory of the pieces. He said the set was in the store to see it in person. He was very pleasant. Our experience in the store was excellent as the service was professional and pleasant. They had the table set & 2 styles of chairs on display and they are ordering the set for me from their warehouse. Their "protection plan" is AMAZING at a great price! I'm excited about receiving it soon. We met the store manager named Kaitlin also, and she was so courteous. Their store was #1 Ashley store in the nation in 2022. I'm pretty sure they will get the award again in 2025. We plan to purchase from them with any future furniture needs. I recommend you do the same. I rate them 10 stars out of 10 !!!

Purchased. A recliner for a veteran who is 78 years old with Parkinson's was told that it would be delivered on a certain day on delivery day. Got a phone call and was told that it will not be here until between 6:00 and 9:30 at night and then at 10:45 at night was told they weren't coming. Really poor quality. Very disappointed in customer service. Can't believe that they leave a customer hanging like this. The man who the chair was purchased for was kept up and did not take his Parkinson's meds for night time and it affect his anxiety and unfortunately now we want our money back. This is absolutely unacceptable, unprofessional and ridiculous

Joe in sales at the Jefferson City store, a long term employee was excellent and knowledgeable of his product including quoting measurements when I asked. I’m from Knoxville but thought I’d try this store, skip Knoxville and “Go To Joe” at Jefferson City location. You won’t be disappointed.

We normally visit the Knoxville location, but after our experience yesterday, Jefferson City is the place to go. I had called the Knoxville store to ask some questions and the person I spoke with wasn’t very helpful. I decided to call Jefferson City and spoke with Katelin. She was everything the other call wasn’t and invited us to visit so she could show us the product we had found online. Upon arrival she showed us what we had seen and in person it just wasn’t what we really wanted. Katelin asked us questions about what we were looking for, including color, shape, fabric and room layout. I want to point out that she wasn’t trying to sell us something. She was trying to help us find a product that would give us what we were looking for. This is exactly what she did when she guided us to the other side of the showroom. Here we found a similar product. By the time we were done, we had found pieces that we thought were right for our multiple rooms and layouts. Katelin worked some magic on the pricing, and we purchased. This was a pleasant experience and not a pushy one. We didn’t settle on something because Katelin was able to find products that met our vision. Make the drive and give this store a chance. Ask for Katelin.

Terrible experience — avoid at all costs If I could give zero stars, I would. I rarely leave bad reviews, but my experience with Ashley Home Furniture has been absolutely awful from start to finish. I waited over TWO MONTHS just to get my furniture delivered — and even then, the nightmare was just beginning. When the delivery finally happened, they forgot to bring the coffee table, two end tables, a nightstand, and even the lights for the headboard. On top of that, I was told I didn’t need a box spring for the bed and mattress I ordered — which turned out to be completely false. I had to call multiple times just to get someone to fix the situation. I waited an extra two days for the coffee table, and even then I had to go pick it up myself — despite being told it would be delivered. I ended up telling them to cancel the end tables and nightstand altogether when they said it would take another 3–4 weeks for those to arrive. They offered to waive delivery fees and give me a free box spring to make up for everything — only to later say I didn’t qualify for it anymore because I canceled the tables. After calling them out on that lie, they finally gave me a box spring… that was covered in dirt, dust, and hair, and had no protective cover. I also asked for updated paperwork showing the price changes — they said they’d email it. Two weeks passed and still nothing. When I called, they claimed to have sent it — turns out they had my email wrong the entire time. And to top it all off, I financed through them and haven’t received a single bill. They keep insisting my financing is through Wells Fargo, even though my paperwork CLEARLY shows Synchrony. They refused to help and wouldn’t even provide a phone number to call. The staff were friendly — until the sale was finalized. After that, they became rude, dismissive, and totally unwilling to help. The salesman I worked with was Kevin. When I called to speak to a manager about their repeated screwups, the manager actually hung up on me when I got understandably aggravated. When I later called about the financing issue, I was told they couldn’t help and could either request a call back from a manager or speak with Topaz, the customer service rep. I’ve dealt with Topaz before and she’s consistently rude, so I asked for a manager to call me instead. I never got a call. When I followed up later that day to say no one had contacted me, Topaz cut me off mid-sentence in an extremely rude tone, claiming she had tried to call. My phone showed no missed calls, and she left no voicemail. One last thing: all the “great” reviews here? The salespeople ask customers to leave a 5-star review in exchange for a $10 bonus. I did it too at first, but I’ve since changed my review to reflect what actually happened. I would gladly pay double at another store just to avoid ever dealing with Ashley Furniture again.

I have been purchasing Ashley furniture for well over 20+ years. I have had multiple houses and they have always been the best brand to work with. I say that to also say that I have worked with a lot of stores and sales people. Big Joe is the guy you want to talk to. If you live in the Knoxville and surrounding areas avoid the turkey creek like a plague, they suck! However take the drive to the Jefferson City Ashley and ask for big Joe, you wont be disappointed.

Big Joe is hands down the man to talk to. Our family has been buying Ashley furniture for over 20+ years, so there wasn’t much he needed to sell us. However, the customer service big Joe offers is top notice. We have been to the individually owned Ashley store in turkey creek in Knoxville where we live and their straight trash. Make the drive and come see big Joe at the Jefferson City location. THEY ARE NOT THE SAME OWNERS AS TURKEY CREEK and it shows! Top notch, we will be back for more big Joe!

Great buying experience. We had an idea of what we wanted. Doug was good to explain all of the options available to us. Instead of going with a double recliner, we went with individual recliners. My 6’3” husband got one to fit his height and I got a smaller one for me. Very happy with our selection. Thankful to have a location so close to our home. Thank you Doug!

We were looking for a full size bed w/storage drawers and since we have limited space and we also wanted a lighter colored bed, it took us a while to make our final decision. He also ordered a “white glove” delivery for us, to speed up the long delivery wait that’s currently happening due to Hurricane Helene. Kevin was STUPENDOUS! Great sales experience today. Friendly, kind, funny and no pressure. Perfect! Ty Kevin! Update 11/05/24 I spent $6k on a super nice sectional in August it is stinking to high heaven. The contents of the pillows and couch cushions are stuffed with fowl feathers from Vietnam! Seriously I have had it 2 months I won't be making anymore payments until they replace this disastrous furniture. Please read your tags before you purchase waiting for the outcome. UPDATE: 11/23 They have denied my warranty claim for this stinking furniture so I'm stuck with it. I was going to purchase a dinette set and an entertainment center here but you can forget that now. I'll never buy anything else from here again. UPDATE 12/22/25 They said they would happily replace the throw pillows that stank since I had to throw them all away. Now they won't honor that either. If you want to lose a thousand dollars worth of repeat business over a few hundred dollars worth of pillows that's about par for the course for management thinking smh. No problem I have found a very nice store who threw in the pillows at no charge when I bought a dinette set from them. Someone with some common sense and courtesy and appreciates you. This store does not. Whatever they tell you.... get it in writing

Ashley Furniture Store in Jefferson City, Tenn is the place to go for your living needs. Ask for Katelyn at their store. She was on the job when I walked in. When I could not describe what I was looking for, she gave me her number. I went home, sent a picture of what I bought from there last year. In less than 20 minutes she had it ordered for me, paper work ready for me to sign as soon as I could get back there. So the next time I need another piece of furniture, I will make sure Katelyn is on the floor before I order anything. Just an update on how the furniture is working. My husband thought it would not work for him. Well well, he has not said a word, He sits back, reclines it and falls asleep. It looks great in our living room. We found a bedroom set that we liked online, so we went to the store to take a look. While there, found another piece of furniture also. The staff was very helpful in the store, good conversation, friendly, helped us find what we needed. They said it would take some 2-4 weeks depending if it was already available in the warehouse. Purchased everything by phone the next day, September 12th. Few days later husband received a text to provide a rating, did not respond. About a week later received another prompt to which he did not respond because we had not received the items yet. Called 3 weeks later for an update, left a message for Dalton Burr – no call back. Called two days later and left another message for Dalton and still no call back. Called a third time (Oct 5), talked with someone in the store who was not able to give an update on our order. No call back. Almost 2 weeks later (Oct 17 – now 5 weeks since purchase) I went to the store to find out the status, was told that “it wasn’t ordered for some time because of a new employee”, by their words it was excusable, because “people make mistakes”. Explored about options to back out: were told we’d be responsible for 25% restocking fee. Finding out later on, the furniture was never ordered and finally got ordered THAT DAY, Oct 17 – five weeks later. Did we get a phone call to follow up, let us know about update on expected delivery, unfortunately no. Go to the store again on Oct 27, inquire about update on delivery, was told items should be in the warehouse by Nov 3rd (Friday), hence can expect delivery shortly after. Nothing. Finally receive a call on Nov 13th to set up delivery for Nov 16, which makes over 2 months. All items were delivered as ordered; however, the bed could not be put together because a wrong set of side rails had been ordered and a mirror could not be attached to the dresser because the holes did not line up. The delivery people were good, quickly called in to let them know there was a problem and said that the store would contact us. No call from the store. Husband called the store and talked to Dalton, he said he would check on it and call back. It’s now four days later, we have yet to hear from them. Meanwhile, we fixed the mirror on dresser ourselves because no idea when they would send a tech out and if they did, would it be done correctly. We are waiting to hear back to know when the new side rails can be expected. Unfortunately, cannot do that ourselves. In the meanwhile, no bed: the headboard and foot board stacked against the wall. All in all, we were very pleased with the delivery people – outside contractors – arrived on time, informed us about the wrong items, called the store, etc. Unfortunately, very disappointed with the staff, Dalton as our main contact (in Ashley store Jefferson City TN). Yes, nice talk in the store, friendly and all, but no follow up. Even worse, everything on their side portrayed as “justified” because “people make mistakes”, however, if I wanted to back out, I’d be responsible for 25% restocking fee. I don’t see us going back to them: no customer service, no follow up, only “justifications”.

I came in to Ashley furniture, looking for a living room set for my daughter who is moving back home, she is a marine wife, her husband passed away in December in Iraq. Moving her home is happy and sad. When I came to Ashley furniture looking for a living room set I was met by a man named Dalton, he was polite and caring, and he took the time to listen to all my stories. After looking at a few items, taking photos answering a lot of questions I told Dalton I’d be back the next day with my daughter. The next day, as we were there with Dalton we realized we needed to make sure we had measurements of the space, we decided , we’d come back the next day which sad to say Dalton wasn’t there and I’m sorry that we missed seeing him one more time. The next day, we were met by Big Joe, and he was also absolutely wonderful. My daughter was torn between two particular sets And he helped guide her to her ultimate decision.
