Told delivery would be in one week. I had to call the store. Best delivery date two weeks. Please don’t tell me you are another Rooms To Go.

Tala was awesome! We were looking at a new couch and recliner. She took us over to the set we fell in love with. (Actually I fell in love with). She showed us all the features that came with the pieces. Tala was super friendly, knowledgeable and sat and talked with us and answered all our questions that we had. She wasn’t one of those pushy sales folks. Tala got us a GREAT DEAL. $$. We would highly recommend Ashley Furniture @ Johnson City TN. 🙂. Oh and we got the 4year protection plan. The only little hiccup is we have to wait a few weeks to get our furniture.😟.

EDIT***: Shortly after this review we managed to get in contact with the general sales manager who fixed this delivery in the span of a week. He said it should have been sorted within 24 hours and they apologized, and quickly scheduled for a replacement piece to be delivered! Still hate how long it took to receive prompt customer service, but at least we finally got the right part of our sectional! The actual shopping experience was pleasant and my husband and I found pieces we really are in love with. I would change my rating to at least 4 stars if we were given some kind of actual customer service after giving them thousands of dollars. The only issue that has yet to be resolved is that we received two right arm facing pieces to our sectional and no one has reached out to us, despite the delivery drivers telling us that “customer care” would contact us to fix it. They never did. My husband has had to be the one to reach out several times to several different numbers and it feels like people continue to pass the buck and no one wants to take responsibility. They said “we” ordered it wrong… when that isn’t really our job and a sales rep dealt with it in the store and we had nothing to do with the order except giving them our money. (The invoice did actually show that it was ordered correctly when we double checked.) Then they said it was the warehouse that sent the wrong piece. Then the warehouse said that the store ordered the wrong piece. Then they said it was our fault for “accepting” the order when the delivery drivers told us that it wouldn’t be an issue and to wait for that “customer care” to call us. They delivered it about three weeks ago now and nothing has actually been done to fix it nor has anything been communicated to us. It took almost a week to get ahold of someone in the first place and it’s now been 2 full weeks with no communication.

Horrible experience. Bought a couch off of them (Johnson City Location). It was delivered 4 days ago. It is already broken. Still has the tags on it. No one has sat on the couch because we have a faimly member in the NICU and haven't been home since. Called to ask the store to help us get this resolved and the best the manager can do is give us a 1-800 number to call. Didn't ask for a name, order number, or anything. You are simply on your own after you hand them the cash. They beg you to fill out a Google review while you are purchasing but don't want to actually give you decent service. I know they arn't going to be the ones that actually fix it but you would think we could still get some support less than a week later.

I've had such a great experience with this store! Tala was a pleasure to work with. I tried using the website first and called the customer service number but recieved no help with any of my questions after 3 days of waiting for a call back, I finally called the store...what a difference! I'll be returning to this store for all my furniture purchases, Tala actually cared and wanted my business.
