I bought a Tempur-pedic mattress at Ashley in Johnson city and it’s by far the best mattress i have ever owned. Tala, who sold me the mattress was so kind and helpful throughout the entire process.

My husband and I went to this store to purchase a new mattress and frame base. Sales rep Dana assured us that the frame we chose was readily available. Several weeks later Dana notifies us via text that the mattress had arrived and that the frame would not be available for an additional 3 weeks. I texted her back and asked if there was any different frame that could be substituted, she replied that she would inquire about it. And then she went on vacation and never returned my message. I called the store a week later asking to speak with Dana, as she “had just left”, and left a message with the store clerk to have her call me. Dana never called. I called the store the following day and asked to speak with the store manager. He was able to arrange a substitute frame base for me. Then came the many challenges of trying to get the mattress and frame delivered. I haven’t ever had this much difficulty with any previous furniture purchase. Ever. I won’t be going back to Ashley for any future purchases.

The young lady at the front was probably the only positive thing I can say about my experience here. I went with my mother yesterday wanting to buy a full bed set. Was greeted by an associate up front. Once we had looked around, we realized no one had checked up to see if we were considering buying something. No worries, we kept waiting. After about 30-35 minutes we ended up just leaving. About 3 employees saw us leave and not a single word. There maybe only 2 other customers in the entire store and they were very helpful to them. We felt as if they were ignoring us on purpose. We weren’t exactly dressed the best but we did want to buy at this store. We did end up going to another store and buying our set there. This isn’t the first time it’s happened but I don’t want to make any assumptions…

My representative, Cathy King, was absolutely Phenomenal. Cathy went absolutely above and beyond to help meet my needs! 10/10 recommend searching for her if you happen to stop in! Can honestly say that I was so thankful and appreciative of her that I left in happy tears <3.

My wife and I went to the JC store to buy me a Purple mattress. Wife has one and she loves it. Somethings were a tad bit delayed, but not to the point I would get perturbed. Definitely not worth dropping a star! Our salesperson was great!!

I have made several purchases from Ashley but my most recent was and still is a complete nightmare. I ordered a dining table/chairs the first week of Oct. I was quoted a 3 week turnaround. At the 3 week mark I had still not been contacted. I called to discover the funtire was in the warehouse and was advised I should have been contacted already. I called the warehouse to only be treated very rudely by the woman who answered. I had to wait an additional 2 weeks for delivery. The table that was delivered was broken and I was short 2 chairs. Again, I was told I should have been contacted in regards to the chairs but I never was. I called Ashley to be directed to a customer care number. I called that number and let them know about my broken table and missing 2 chairs. I also discovered one of the chairs delivered was assembled incorrectly and I requested a replacement chair as the screw was threaded improperly leaving a large space and no possible fix without damage. That was Nov 16th. I am still waiting for a replacement and complete delivery. I contacted Ashley and was simply given a meaningless "sorry." Update- I called in December to inquire about my purchase as I still had not received it. The customer care rep argued I had received all my chairs. Once that was settled I was scheduled for delivery for the 21st of December andI advised I coukd only do morning and was assured that note would be made. They set delivery for afternoon and I had to cancel. Delivery was rescheduled for January. This past Saturday was my delivery date and they did not show. I called to ask why and was told that I was never placed on the docket for the day. So now I have another delivery date for this saturday. We shall see if they show up. I was also promised a $200 refund check that I have not received, and it has been a month since I was supposedly issued that check. When I call or text the rep about the check I am told that they will look into it. This is been a huge mess and I have now taken this issue to corporate as this location has not been Cooperative nor do they care. The rep is no longer answering my messages.

My cousin had an awful experience with Ashley Furniture’s customer service. Not only were the representatives rude and dismissive when called about an issue with their order, but they also refused to take responsibility for their mistake. They were sent the wrong item, and instead of offering a refund or a reasonable solution, they gave the runaround and acted like it was our fault. The lack of professionalism and accountability is shocking. I would strongly recommend avoiding this location—there are plenty of other places that treat their customers with respect.

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the extensive delays I have experienced during my recent purchase with your store. While I initially chose Ashley Furniture based on your reputation for quality and customer service, my experience has fallen far short of the standards one would expect from a business of your standing. I placed my order on Oct 25th with the understanding that delivery would take place Nov 14th. However, it has now been almost a full month and the items has still not arrived. Despite multiple attempts to follow up with your customer service team, I have been met with vague explanations, shifting delivery dates, and a lack of concrete solutions to expedite the process. This delay has caused significant inconvenience, as I have had to rearrange my schedule multiple times to accommodate anticipated deliveries that were later postponed. Additionally, the lack of proactive communication from your side has left me frustrated, as I have repeatedly had to contact your team to get updates rather than being informed in a timely manner. Furthermore, when I visited your store, your representatives assured me that delivery would be smooth and timely. I trusted this information when making my purchase, yet the reality has been entirely different. This raises serious concerns about the accuracy of the information provided at the point of sale and the efficiency of your logistics process. I understand that delays can occasionally happen due to unforeseen circumstances, but the lack of accountability and resolution offered by your team is unacceptable. I believe it is the responsibility of a reputable business to not only deliver on its promises but to keep customers informed and provide appropriate remedies when things go wrong. I am requesting: 1. A detailed explanation for the delay, including specific reasons why the delivery has taken so long. 2. An updated and guaranteed delivery date for my items 3. Compensation or a discount to acknowledge the inconvenience and disruption caused by this prolonged delay. I hope you will treat this matter with the urgency and seriousness it deserves. Please acknowledge receipt of this complaint and provide a timeline for when I can expect a response. I trust that you will address this matter promptly and ensure that other customers do not face similar frustrations.

The sales team was very helpful and gave me room to look around and think. That is the best part of the experience. The cost of the furniture does not justify how inaccurate their delivery scheduling is. Which by the way is a separate cost. From the time we purchased our furniture there was a 3 week delay on deliveries. Then our delivery date was missed and no one called with an explanation of where our paid for furniture was. Finally the customer service over the phone ranges from irritated to exhausted that I would dare call them for updates. If you need furniture in the Tri-cities, TN area go to one of their competitors and avoid the delivery woes of this organization.

I purchased a couch and a chair here last month. It's been over 6 weeks and I still have not received my order. Initially I was told 2-3 weeks for delivery. As the 3 week mark approached, I reached out asking for an update as I hadn't heard from anyone. I was told it's "coming in here Tuesday". I waited until the following Tuesday (a full week after the delivery date) and still had not been contacted, so I reached out again only to be told "next week". 2 weeks later I STILL have not heard from anyone, so I just called only to be once again told "coming in Tuesday" and I have zero faith that it will. No one has bothered to reach out and tell me it's been delayed or apologize for this ridiculous wait. I will not be going back and encourage others to stay away.

Tala was very knowledgeable and able to use personal anecdotes to help find what we were most looking for. She had a strong working knowledge of the store, stock, and procedures. My only gripe had to do with how financing for extended periods works. It was not explained well in-store that by choosing the longer period it affected the price at which the pieces we were purchasing would start. Once we understood this, we were fine, but it did give us a scare. Overall Tala did great.

Couch is half a year old ... has been sat on maybe 40 times? We don't use it much. It's already squeaking really loud when you sit on it, no we're not heavy people. All under 180 lbs. Paid $1300 for this thing. Cool!

Great service at the store level! When they called to schedule delivery (out of state number), they didn’t leave a voicemail and didn’t call back. I had to call and ask where my furniture was. Store level service is great, but processes at the distribution level is lacking.

They were very helpful and offered Lindsey multiple solutions to get us exactly what we were looking for; such as suggestion certain fabrics that are easier to clean with our pets and offering to order sections to fit the space we needed.

Miss Lindsay directed me to the mattresses that I had asked about and sold me on so much more!! I haven’t had anything less than a wonderful nights rest since. The rest of the crew that were there on this specific day were very helpful as well and what seemed like a well oiled machine of personalities and expertise all in one room!! Ashley Furniture contacted the Johnson City, TN store as the nearest location to our delivery address in Banner Elk, NC. Cathy was very prompt, courteous and helpful with texting me updates about when she would be able to contact me, finding me the best price on the sofa and protection plan we were looking at and placing the order for me - all via text, phone calls and email. Another person walked up to help find a price and walked off to get on her phone. They must be making too much money to help us. We are in the process of working on our house so we werent dressed up. Guess we weren't dressed up enough. We left.

My husband and I had a good experience when we purchased our recent couch set at Ashley. Our salesperson was Dana and she was very helpful. She made her presence known when we walked in and left us alone until we sought her back out. She was quick to answer all of our questions and made the purchase process smooth. 5 stars for her!! The guys who set up on delivery did not put the feet on the ottoman right. When we went to move the ottoman one of the feet fell off. After reading my review Ashley reached out and had someone at my house within 5 days fixing the issue. I changed my 4 stars to 5 stars!

Ask for Lindsay!!! She was absolutely incredible. She did not push us at all. She didn't brother us while we looked, she gave us space, but made sure to check in. We actually purchased from them with most of our stuff because of her. She was honest and upfront about how long deals were lasting. We spoke to a man there and he wouldn’t tell us when the sale was ending, but Lindsay would! She is super sweet and I will definitely be going to her for all my future purchases!

We visited a few furniture stores looking for a loveseat recliner. The only store that a salesperson greeted us and asked us if we needed help, was Ashley. Cathy directed us to the area we needed. She checked on us often. We found a set on clearance, but it was damaged. She found another one at the warehouse and was waiting for the manager to tell us a price. We left the store and 5 minutes later She called and gave us an updated price. We came back and made the purchase. Cathy was friendly and we appreciated her sales style of not being pushy and leaving us to make choices without pressure.

Ordered a bed and mattress and paid to have it delivered. However they were missing bolts and couldn’t complete it. I was disappointed that nobody from Ashly reached out to us nor did they try to send out a technician with the parts. They mailed them which took two weeks to arrive. By this time my fiancé was just ready to have it built so I decided to start putting it together myself. By the time I finished something seemed off. After some investigating I discovered they had delivered a twin side piece instead of a king. It took two more weeks to get someone out to fix it. Thanks to Cathy in Johnson city we were able to receive some compensation however we had to initiate that too. It’s really unexceptionable. A company should immediately take responsibility for mishaps and bend over backwards to help costumers they had wronged. Had Ashley immediately reached out and made an effort to fix things ASAP this would be a much different review. I don’t plan to buy anything else from Ashley furniture.

We came in looking for a mattress after stopping by another local furniture store first. Cathy King greeted us as we walked in and we told her we were looking for a new mattress. Instead of showing us where the mattress department was and then leaving us like the other store did, she had us try out many different mattresses. She didn’t try rushing us on our decision and spent about an hour with us while we finally chose what was best for the both of us.

We had a great experience at Ashley Furniture. We are returning customers. They do a great job of providing excellent customer service and their salesman, Tom Powers, was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was persistent in helping us find a sideboard that was on sale that we had seen on line and were having a hard time locating. Also, they helped us find a delivery person since our sideboard was a close out sale item and we couldn’t pick it up. We highly recommend Ashley Furniture for all your furniture needs.

Decided not to purchase. A return fee of 20% on a three thought dollar couch is a bit much with a delivery fee of $500. Found the exact same for $800 less.

We came in to buy a new bed and we didn't even know what options were out there. Lindsay greeted us as we walked in and was so friendly. She showed us all the different options of mattresses and frames, and was very knowledgeable. We finally settled on a bed! We loved Lindsay! We'll definitely go back to Ashley and we will ask for Lindsay every time!

Update:: After finally picking out a couch that fits in our house we are told that we have to renegotiate our Leasing and that they have changed leasing companies and so now we have to wait to have the couch delivered. Mind you I did not cancel the order as I stated below. I'm honestly considering canceling it and I should have never even went and picked out a couch that will actually fit into our living room. We go in there to pay the remaining for our lease because now they're saying that we are $100 over what we were approved for and then they tell us that their systems are down and it is due to the fact that they're switching loan companies. They acted like they couldn't even tell us anything and that we'd have to come back on monday. I highly recommend going to Rent-A-Center or some other high-end furniture store. This is been a nightmare. We've given them several chances and it's been 4 months down the road and still have not gotten our furniture. They also say that they do deliveries for several other companies. So you're lucky if you even get it delivered once you get it that is the problem we were having initially. Now we're told that they don't even have her loan agreement and it's like what the heck were we even doing there when we went back to refinance the couch. These people need to get hold on it. Previous review:: After purchasing a couch for nearly $4000. We waited nearly a month. We still have not had it delivered and after paying all of that money plus additional to have it delivered and nothing has been done. We had somebody scheduled to come out and they came out an hour and a half early and then tried to tell me that they were coming back. I waited for several hours and got nothing. I called the store and they told me they were just so booked after we had done nothing but move all of our furniture out of the house. We have nowhere to sit and no furniture. I'm canceling the order and I want nothing to do with the store. Super unprofessional. They tell me that the deliveries are booked and that if somebody cancels we'll get a spot. I have nothing to do with it I'm canceling the order. I should have known better. My review below was based on the salesperson being super sweet and this has nothing to do with her. Initial review:: Meredith is absolutely hands-down the sweetest salesperson I've dealt with. We came in at closing but she stayed with our family an hour after closing and got us financed to purchase the coach. We really appreciate all of her assistance and patience with us. Highly recommend her!!

Lindsay was so great to work with. Very friendly and accommodating. Moving from out of state, she made the whole process seamless and made sure my couch was delivered by the time I moved in. The couch was in great condition when I received it and the delivery was quick and easy too.

We pretty much knew what we wanted walking in, so an easy sale. Tala, however, made it fun, knew her stuff, and was a good sport with my husband's shenanigans. And the turtle shell has been a huge hit!

This was an exceptional experience. I bought a new desk for my office and the purchase was seemless. The particular model I selected was in stock and Ashley Furniture was able to schedule to have my new desk assembled and placed in my home office in a reasonable amount of time. The delivery workers were careful in assembling the product--as not to scratch or damage it--and placed the desk precisely where I needed it. They were in and out of the house in no time.

The staff at the store is excellent. The staff at the warehouse will be putting Ashley Funiture out of business. I have been waiting for 3 weeks for my bed frame and a sofa. Still haven't received it yet! I was notified last week that the truck from the warehouse will be here on the 2nd of June. I called the warehouse to see what time I could expect the delivery. I was informed they don't deliver in my area on Friday's. So I now have to wait another week. If you buy from an Ashley Funiture store! And your item comes from a warehouse! Good luck trying to get it. If I known it would take a month to deliver the stuff. I would have gone somewhere else. I never saw so much monkeying around than the Ashley Warehouse. Big waste of time and money.

Then i thought to myself, what if this is it? what if this is my only way of earning without having to work all day and night-shifts. Half of our furniture arrived with stains or what appears to be glue on chair fabric. A screw was protruding through one of our table tops. The delivery people smelled so bad that I couldn't get the smell out of our home for days. We called in to return several items, some of which the salesperson wanted to be argumentative over. He intentionally stayed quiet while I was in the store ordering the table and chairs based on the 10 chair display setup that they had in store, knowing full well that the 10 chairs didn't fit in the table correctly. They had them placed in such a way that it would not be noticeable in the store. However, when I stated that I would like to return 2 of the chairs as they did not fit properly in the table, he said "well that table isn't made for 10 chairs", although he had no problem selling them to me. Now, in order to return them and several other items after spending 14k on furniture they're charging a 25% restocking fee, which stinks, but it is what it is...getting them to follow up and pick up their junk has been an absolute nightmare! "It's a process" is what I've been told for days now. BUYER BEWARE!!! God forbid something doesn't fit or look good in your home, you will lose 25% returning it (If you can get them to take the return at all), though they'll gladly exchange it for some other low quality options.

If you want to get good furniture you should go to Ashley’s home store and they treat you very well like Cathy which is one of the best worker I ever meet. If you want good furniture ask Cathy and she is going to help you very well.

I will never do business or recommend this business to anyone. The sales people are friendly, don’t get me wrong but the pressure to buy is ridiculous. I regret so much not walking out when I had the chance but I felt obligated to purchase after being approved for the financing. I have waited 2 months for the set to come in, and the delivery people couldn’t fit it through my front door. I’ve been told a 15% restock fee is required to cancel the order, there is no empathy from anyone, including “customer care”. I’ve rescheduled delivery and will make it work since I’m clearly locked into this disaster but I will never step foot back in an Ashley store for anything. To update: they FINALLY sent delivery people with common sense and got the furniture through the door. My main issue is being told that I would be forced to pay a restock fee when it isn’t my fault they didn’t try hard enough to get it in. I already have a sectional in the house, if that will fit and a king size bed anything will. I was told “the paperwork you signed states a restock fee is required” but that was in terms of PREFERENCE meaning if I got the set and disliked it after it was in my house. It was all about money to the store and nothing was offered in terms of making it right for the stress or headache it caused.

Tala is absolutely fabulous- this was my first major furniture purchase and I KNOW I’ll be back. From explaining the products, price, and processes everything was fantastic and I found a collection I know I will love for a lifetime. I cannot recommend her and Ashley enough.

Johnson city, Tn store! Run run run! I’ve had a sofa bed since June. First of all, wouldn’t fold out. Then technician came and put new frame in! Then it’s worse. Couldn’t get out to even get mattress in. Therefore a couch sitting there with mattress lying on top of it. Ok, going to order me a new one. Finally checked last thur. Yes was in and had Bn there since November 22! Not notified. Lady at warehouse in west va not nice. Then had to call grey warehouse. She was rude. Said had to call and arrange pymt to bring back defective couch, and pick up new one. Yes we did pick up original couch! Why should we have to pay to return their defective couch? She said that was the chance we took by picking up! I have to say people in store have Bn nice. Warehouse, no. Now I’m waiting on a call from manager at store from yesterday! I guarantee my word of mouth will cost u more than delivery fee. I also bought a sectional there at same time. It already has a small tear. Makes me think poor quality, even worse customer service. I will never purchase anything from this store again ! For now, u may find this couch with mattress sitting on curbside! Would never recommend!

I currently own a twelve year old Ashley chair in great condition, and also a thirteen year old Ashley Darcy sofa! This sofa will be replaced with another Darcy sofa in a different color, because the quality is that good and so is price! Although the Darcy sofa seems to be something people continue to purchase, I noticed that they have many beautiful new styles to choose from in different price ranges! I purchased my new sofa with the help of Tala! She showed me the sofa once, then I decided to come back and buy it. She went above and beyond to explain things, and to make sure I could get my new sofa, even taking $50 off the 'in store' price to match the online price, because that's what I thought it cost. I highly recommend Ashley Furniture and Tala Pierce as your sales representative.

Tala Pierce helped me today as I look for a coffee table. She even went as far as to pull over an end table to a coffee table. I was looking for. Over and above! And a very pleasant person.

We had a fantastic experience at Ashley Johnson City. We walked in without high hopes in finding what we needed (bookshelves/library) after going to five other places. Lindsay greeted us and steered us toward a few items in the store but they didn’t meet our needs. She then helped us look through the online catalog where we found just what we wanted. I wasn’t sure about purchasing since I couldn’t see the wood finish in person. Lindsay went out of her way to find a similar piece of furniture with the same finish made by the same manufacturer so I could see what it would look like. We ordered the pieces and absolutely love our choices!!

Pretty helpful people, although wires can get crossed easily (one person tell you one thing over the phone, the next person in store says I have no idea who would’ve told you that). However, I was able to get some really good deals on a recliner for my son and a mattress for my daughter. And the warehouse folks in Gray, TN stayed over closing time by over an hour to help get me my purchases that same day instead of having to wait for delivery or the next day. I was pleased. Will buy from again.

We bought a large sectional in store in mid September and were told to expect delivery in 6 weeks. 6 weeks came and went and we didn't hear anything, so we started calling. Finally, I receive a call saying it is coming on Saturday. We remove our entire living room set the night before. On Saturday, we don't hear anything. The store says they don't handle that and we need to call a different number where we are told it won't be delivered until December 10th. After arguing with a non-empathetic rep, she says some of the items will be delivered next Saturday. Now, here we are an empty living room just hoping that we actually receive our purchase and have something for our families to sit on come the Thanksgiving holiday. Would never buy here again.

I ordered an expensive couches, it took over a month to deliver and they brought me 2 left sided pieces that do not fit together. So now waiting again longer for the correct furniture that I ordered. Along with that I ordered one end table of which they told me a month later that it won't be ready for 2 more months. Unbelievable. I didn't expect this from this company. I will go somewhere else next time.

This is my full experience with Ashleys and it was terrible. Over a month ago we decided to go to the Johnson city store and purchase all our new furniture for our home. We spent a lot of money with them and they gave us the run around with every piece of furniture we got. They said our items would be in and they never came, they ordered the wrong size bed, didn't send shelves with a cabinet, gave us the wrong lamps, gave us a table off the floor that has been used, they over charged us for items, they refused to make the situations any better. Management is terrible there they have no idea what they are doing or selling. At one point one of the workers voiced to us that they were terrified of one of the other employees that work at the register. The lady was hateful as could be clearly unhappy to be there. I will never go back to Ashleys it was a nightmare to say the least. This is an honest review and if your thinking of going to Ashleys please save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else. This is the short version of what all we had to endure. I wouldn't recommend this establishment to anyone.

I will never buy from Ashley furniture again! Last Feb/March 2021 we bought a chair and sofa set. It wasn’t delivered until late Summer/early Fall (this wasn’t Ashley’s fault but they provided 0 updates). We have had our furniture set for only a year and already the couch has to be completely replaced due to the support beam breaking. Our chair is currently being worked on for the same issue (and we barely use the chair). For the price we paid, I expected this furniture to last much longer. The Customer Care warranty (for our couch) people didn’t show up the first time they came to look at our couch, and the 2nd time, the guy basically ripped the board out and told me it wasn’t fixable. It took awhile to get the chair fix (store warranty) set up, but we did. This, overall, has been a very disappointing experience.

The staff at Ashleys are only interested in making a sale, they don't want to stand behind their return policy and keep refusing to fix the bill that they messed up. Save yourself time and go somewhere else.

Spent hours in this store recently selecting two products. Had to wait over two weeks for delivery as these items have long lead times. On delivery, one of the two items was ordered incorrectly despite all the time we invested ensuring proper product selection. Such a simple and avoidable problem. Will avoid this store in the future. After over two hours invested, getting a 50% success rate on just two items ordered makes you want to take your business elsewhere. Process and quality control issues clearly exist at this location.

I ordered a sectional online.3000$. Delivery people never called. I got an email saying what date I would get it. Then after waiting 2 weeks they call the day I take my old couch out because it’s the day before they are supposed to come and they call saying it will be 2 more weeks. Do not purchase here if you want to have it delivered to you. They don’t even answer questions for your delivery. They send you to 4 different numbers that no one helps you on. After all this happened Cathy at the Johnson city store contacted me and I was able to pick up the couch atleast. If you do buy from Ashley I prefer the in store method as online was a pure headache.

DO NOT SHOP HERE, THEY DON’T HONOR THEIR WARRANTY… Purchased a Headboard, Bed-Frame combination along with a Dresser and night stand in Sept. Two nights ago the Bed Frame broke while I was sleep scared me to death, I call and there is no form of customer service. Spoke with someone at the store and she wasn’t able to get a hold of anyone at the Customer Service Department either. So I have a new broken bed frame and insurance on it that I cannot use.

Worst customer service ever and delivery. We purchased a dining set and it has been 1 YEAR and we haven’t received our chairs. We received out table but that was only because we kept calling and calling and asking when they would ship it until they agreed to ship it before the chairs arrived. That was august last year after 4 months of our purchase. And the people at the store couldn’t care less. They say they will call for updates and nothing (ever) our “salesperson” Cathy has never called us for an update or anything. It’s just so confusing because when I would get in touch with her (after me calling of course) she would go on with their scripted message that they or she does care and she values our business and I’m like?? What?? Anyway, we haven’t received our chairs after a year of waiting and they still don’t know and they don’t call us or anything. It’s ridiculous. We also purchased a couch which is beautiful and I love it but they also delivered it 4 months later with the table. I also remember posting a review here like 6 months ago so other people see this before purchasing their and I don’t see it anymore. I wonder what happened to it.

The mgr even allowed us to bring a chair home to see if it would work with our table. The price was excellent. They have given us the run around on why our furniture isn’t being delivered for about 2 weeks now. We ordered our furniture in store from them 6 months ago. They have our pieces (minus one) and we have requested split delivery several times. Every time we call to check the status, they can’t give us a straight answer as to why they aren’t delivering. I wanted a refund so I could go find something else, but they keep 25% of your order. That’s a lot of money to keep considering how expensive furniture is anymore. Because of how my fiancé and myself have been treated by this store, we will no longer shop here or recommend them. Go to Grand Home Furnishings for nicer service and to have your furniture delivered within a week instead of waiting 6 months.

Bought a leather living room couch for $1500 plus tax and a bed mattress for $4000 . First off the couch we looked at in the store seemed to be leather and the one we recieved from their warehouse is definitely not leather and very cheap made and the mattress we picked out in the store was very nice but the one we recieved from the warehouse was definitely seconds. It had little holes and tears in it. We did not get satisfaction when we called about it so needless to say we're stuck with both. Will never set foot back in their stores. Beware people. Make sure you get what you pay for.

I would never recommend anyone to this company! Ordered a loveseat and sofa in april was told it would be delivered june 8th then the date changed to june the 18th(tomorrow) called just to confirm and now being told November. Have already paid for the furniture. Now have to wait for the refund.Its one thing to be delayed but to not inform the customer of such a lengthy delay is another thing. I do not even want to discuss the customer service that i received. Monotone and non chalant and this was that of a supervisor. I could have ordered furniture elsewhere had i been given the proper updates.

Tala had terrible communication. She told me my couch would be in in a couple weeks we'll come May 1 st i had to call and ask this was over 4 weeks of waiting? Do NOT support. We where told something completely different at the store and when it came time actually follow threw Chuck (manager and Mayor of Jonesborough) handled this beyond rudely he said " we missed understood" which was NOT the case! I am a military Veteran who has multiple tours over seas. This is NOT how a manager should ever speak to a customer and he even threatened to cancel our order got rude and straight mean East Tennessee do not support this local store!! It has been over 8 weeks and we have yet to receive anything yet they have our couch that has been in for who knows how long(bought couch march 25 2020 was supposed to be delivered in 2 weeks today is May 8 2020) but they are waiting another month to deliver because they need 2 pieces to deliver?! So it will be over 14 weeks assuming the delivery happens on time. Incredibly frustrating do not buy from store order online or drive to Kingsport since they do not have respect for Military Veterans. He also said each piece has to be over $1000 to even get delivery we spent $3300 and I guess it wasn't enough?! So disappointing and disrespectful.

We are in love with our new sectional sofa! Dana was wonderful to work with and made the process a breeze. Our couch did take longer than expected to arrive which was a bummer but it eventually came in and Dana updated me whenever I contacted her about the delay!

I found a media cabinet online and decided to go to the store in person to see if they had it in their showroom. I also looked at some other furniture while I was there. The customer service was great. I was greeted respectfully and found it was easy to find an associate when I wanted help. Robert helped me with the media cabinet I wanted. He laid out all the options when purchasing and was helpful without being pushy, which I really appreciated. If I buy any pieces from this store in the future, I will ask for him.

They will tell you your product will be able to pick up in March like me upon purchase. When you call 3rd week in March they will tell you June, call again in a day or two and they say May and deny ever saying June or don’t understand why I was even told June.

Tala greeted us as soon as we walked in, pointed us in the direction of what we were looking for, and let us browse without hovering. She was right there to answer all of our questions and helped us decide on the perfect sectional. After I got home and realized the configuration would need to be reversed, I sent her a message and she got it taken care of right away. This is my second experience in this store and I'm very pleased.

Great selection

BUYER BEWARE. no one in store was up front at all when purchasing. WE STILL HAVENT RECEIVED OUR ITEM FROM NOVEMBER. We have been told by Ashley that some folks are waiting since JUNE 2020 for any leather items etc. and that it’s bad everywhere. but that is false. After furniture shopping at 4 stores that evening, Ashley told it was all in warehouse when we paid them 100% upfront. Of course we have heard numerous excuses along the way but there is zero accountability. Our item has been delayed as follows: from in stock, to expected date end of dec to Jan to late jan to early feb to late feb now we are hearing March 5 is an “expected date” and I’m not holding my breath. Last week it said “en route” and now it is back to an expected date. I certainly understand circumstances and Covid too but customer service is lacking and has been poor for notifying us at all and their lack of transparency. Every update came from us having to call them back. I understand delays as we moved into our house in November 2020 and certainly had some appliances and electrical fixtures delayed but we were able to get updates where the item was once in US and compensated by said companies. But Ashley cannot seem to track items and state their trucks are independent companies and “show up whenever or never show up at all.”That makes no sense, if as a company, they are handling your product. it is beyond frustrating. And all they will tell you is how frustrated they are as well. But all the while they continue to hold payment while I sit and wait. I won’t shop here again based on the customer service experience. We also had probably 50 % of items delivered were damaged. UPDATE: Now delayed until April. I doubt anyone buying today is being told it would be 6 months to receive items.

A lot over priced

I was looking for an office desk that would be available now instead of ordering it. I knew it was probably a long shot at finding one. When I walked into the store I was greeted by Tala. She confirmed that it was taking weeks to get them. I was walking around looking at other furniture and Tala came and informed me she had found a couple that were actually available now. I really appreciated that she took the time to look to get that information before I left the store. She helped me find the perfect desk and saved me a lot of time! Tala is great!! Thank you Tala!

My sales person Robert was a pleasure to deal with. My only complaint is that they advertised the 3 year no interest and had that posted on every piece of furniture in the store. In reality it was only available for the original store price not the sale price which everything was supposedly on sale meaning you couldn’t get the 3yr no interest financing which was frustrating. Robert and the store manager worked with me on this and we came to an agreement that worked for everyone.

My wife and I recently shopped at Ashley Home store for a lounge love seat. We were met by a smiling face and bubbly personality. Nearly a year later I can FINALLY write a review since my order was just now completely fulfilled. Let me start off by saying I ordered a complete bedroom set which costed around $3,000. I ordered a bed, nightstand, dresser, & a mattress. Let’s also not forget delivery & set up. They only had a dark wash color in store but I made sure they knew I wanted the white wash color. Also, I was ASSURED by the sales lady that with the type of bed I was getting I did not need a box spring. So fast forward to moving day! The delivery guy called to confirm the time he was going to show up but there was a problem. The store had ordered all of the furniture in different colors so my bed was a white wash but my dresser and nightstand were a dark wash. Well I refused the wrong pieces of furniture. So he comes to set up my bed and asks me if I purchased a box spring. So of course I said I was assured I didn’t need one with that type of bed and he told me I HAD to have it. So I called the store and she told me it was going to be another 3 weeks before the other furniture would be in the warehouse so I said okay but that I needed a box spring and she told me I could go pick one up at the warehouse but they couldn’t deliver it, which I’m still not sure why since I PAID for delivery and setup. So fast forward to 2 months later. Still hadn’t heard anything from them about my other pieces of furniture so I call and they tell me my dresser is in but my nightstand still isn’t so they’ll let me know when it comes in. They didn’t want to deliver until the other came in but after being on the phone for another 2 hours they agreed to deliver it. Now another month later I still hadn’t hear anything from them so I call and ask when it will be delivered and they I needed some sort of compensation for this because it is getting ridiculous at this point. She offers me $100 credit. Let me reiterate, ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS. My last piece of furniture, which is the smallest piece of furniture, costed $299.00. AND I paid more for shipping & set up than $100.00. But whatever I said okay since that’s ALL they could do for me. Well, another 2 weeks later I call once again and two days later I FINALLY get my last piece of furniture delivered but it doesn’t end there. They guy delivered it didn’t want to even come in the house to set it up. Said he “forgot his glasses” so couldn’t see to set it up. Everything about this experience was unprofessional & mishandled from the beginning. I will NEVER recommend Ashley Furniture to anyone!

BUYER BEWARE! If I could give them less than one star I would. I ordered a sofa and two recliners and was told by our sales person that all were in stock and she would try to get it on a truck for delivery last Saturday. I called the delivery number and they flat out said no we don’t have you scheduled for this Saturday and there’s no way I can get it to you then. She said I don’t have a truck coming your way till next Wednesday. I was upset but had no other option. Called the delivery department again on Tuesday afternoon to confirm delivery the next day and was told I was not on the schedule for Wednesday. It was the same woman I spoke to previously and she told me she didn’t tell me I was scheduled for Wednesday. I told her I just moved here from another state - how would I have known they deliver to my area on Wednesday’s if she didn’t tell me. Now she said she can’t deliver it till the following Saturday. I paid $3,800 cash for my furniture and just asked for a refund so I could go elsewhere and was told would have to wait for them to send me a check! This has turned out to be a very bad experience. My salesman finally called me back and her and her husband would deliver the sofa to us. This is crazy,

She gave us her card so we could call or text if we had any questions. And after we choose and bought a floor model- that we agreed to take as is and saw no visible damage. When staff moved the couch for us to pick up so noted a broken board underneath that we wouldn't have noted and requested it be fixed by Ashley's before we picked it up. Thank goodness. She was just so great to work with!

When I looked at the Ashley Homestore website it states that they price match, including online retailers such as amazon. I was informed that the store can refuse to honor that policy. The worst customer service experience you could ask for. Made a bedroom set purchase and living room furniture set purchase back May 19. Received the bedroom set a month after purchase for a split delivery. Was told the rest of it should be in by 6/27, have called the past 3 days to check on delivery. No answer or return call. Finally called the store and get the run around and a new delivery date of mid July. Yes Covid has delayed delivery which is understandable. However, there’s no excuse when you fail to update your customer or help them when they call. Don’t feel like I’m asking for much to just be kept in the loop of the thousands of dollars that I spent. Don’t waist your time or money. Maybe I’ll see the furniture by month 3 after the purchase.

Ashley home store I don't know where to begin. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and given the typical squirt of hand sanitizer that you received since the clove it outbreak. They did not have a super selection of stuff that was to my appeal. Besides the initial greeting there was no staff members to help us so we took our business elsewhere

I truly wish I could give this store a zero rating. I ordered furniture May 9th and have not received any of it. I was told the last piece of my furniture would be sent to the warehouse on June 2nd. That was the last update I received. It is now June 14th and I have not received any other updates. It would not be so bad if I could get anyone from the warehouse to answer my phone calls. I have called the delivery service everyday this past week and left a message everyday. They have not responded. I have even called the store and they said they would try to get them to get in contact with me. They still haven’t. I understand things are not normal due to the covid-19 pandemic, however, I don’t think that is a valid excuse for ignoring a customers repeated calls. I just would like an update on my furniture since I am currently in an apartment with only lawn chairs and an air mattress. Horrible customer service. I am highly considering just canceling my order since I don’t foresee it being delivered anytime soon. And I will definitely not continue business with them in the future and I highly advise others not to either. Unless you would like to be ignored and without the furniture that you have already paid for.

Not a wide variety of selection. Some of the stuff was overpriced. Staff was friendly clean environment. Their selection of furniture and items were just not my type. However, they may be up your alley do not dismiss them as the staff is very friendly and they do have some stuff available.
