Just moved to the area & went to Ashley for furniture. Rich & Cooper spent a lot of time helping us decide on the right fit for our needs. They recommended the couch with Durapella fabric since it’s highly rated for folks with pets. They also helped entertain our kids while we shopped! Thanks so much for all your help & we look forward to receiving our new furniture!

We came in previously to browse some furniture and talked which Richard about what we saw. Came back for the purchase a few weeks later, already approved for what we wanted, walked in and out in about 30-40 mins. Made it painless

Thankfully I went to corporate to get my concerns resolved which is unbelievable. Store associate lie to make a sell then call and lie some more and think arguing with a first time customer is they way to go. I don’t think so. Sorry about your luck. Mr Richard Rogers. Rich and Katy were great, in person. They were very helpful and even made me believe I was getting a deal. I was going to show someone the mattress I ordered, when I went online the mattress and bedroom set I ordered was about $300 less than I paid. I contacted Rich the next day, he says "no problem I will fix it, we price match." I have contacted Rich and Katy at least 4 times since July with no response back or resolution to the problem. I was also told I would receive a $100 gift card that I still have not received.

I have never been lied to as much as I did dealing with Conner If he’s talking I promise you he’s lying He will tell you anything to make a sale knowing better I’m sure they love him he will lie to anyone to make a deal I would love for anyone tied to this store to call me I’ve left messages and never got a response or there all busy Please call me

AMAZING!!!! I went in trying to just afford something that would let me get rid of our our old furniture. Then Richard and Gina got ahold of me, and I ended up with something totally different. They worked and worked to get me set up everything so that I could absorb the payments with no problem. And I really appreciate what they did, because a lot of people would have gone ‘next’ and pretended I wasn’t there. I have rarely had 2 perfect strangers helping me out at a time I really needed it. They could have picked a cheap something to make the sale, but they went above and beyond, over and over. AND they laughed at my jokes. I also believe I owe them a cake: So to Richard Rogers and Gina Hite thank you from the bottom rod my soul.

Today my husband and I went to the Ashley Furniture store in Kingsport to look for recliners. Our salesman Rich Rogers was very helpful in helping me make a decision on what we wanted. We ended up purchasing 2 power reclining loveseats with 2 matching endtables and 2 lamps. He was not pushy, he took a lot of time with us and even moved furniture around to help with the decision. We went into Ashley furniture with no intention of a purchase. We simply wanted to check out mattresses, specifically the Purple brand. The staff left us alone until we had laid down on several mattresses, trying them out. At that point, Richard Rogers asked if we might need some assistance. We said certainly. He’s a very nice man, and very knowledgeable on mattresses. He suggested we use the assessment machine to get an idea of what our bodies might find most useful. Interesting technology. Long story short, we did buy a mattress and base that elevates While we likely could have chased around for a better deal, our time was best used at the Kingsport Ashley store. We are very happy with the support Rich provided. He’s obviously a salesman but he knows his stuff and doesn’t seem to be prone to up selling efforts. We are very satisfied with the result!!

After going to another store and being told out couch would be delivered today, then getting a call saying they didn't have all the pieces, we ended up at Ashley's. Rich was amazing!! We found the same couch we were supposed to be getting, but it was more than the other store. Rich not only gave us a great price but made sure we got delivery and warranty for a lower price. We only paid $100 more with Ashley's, but Rich was able to guarantee delivery! If you go to Ashley's in Kingsport ask for Rich he will take good care of you.

The service was great in store. I bought a tempurpedic queen size bed with adjustable base, a dresser (no mirror), a chest of drawers and headboard, and delivery with set up all for 7G. Good wood but wow expensive.

I recommend Mark Eckhardt! Rarely have I dealt with a salesperson that rose to our many challenges as he did. From personally driving to the manufacturer to ensure an on time delivery of one piece to personally being present for the delivery of another. Our home has many difficulties to move in furniture and without Marks hands on assistance it simply would not have happened. False advertising and false warranty's sold here. Don't buy their products go somewhere else. I've been waiting 3 months maybe more for a warranty they sold me, even after I called them and complained they want me to redo what I've done already. Like take a picture and send it in. I have purchased multiple times from Ashley in Kingsport. Rich has helped me over the years and is one of the reasons I like to go to that store. I went in to buy a mattress and boxed springs yesterday, and he was as helpful as always. He introduced me to a sales person named Vanessa, and she took excellent care of me during the purchase. The really nice thing is that it is not a high-pressure sales environment. The people are friendly and seem to really work well as a team helping each other. The quality of the merchandise is good and the prices are reasonable. No reason not to shop there!

We had a great experience at Ashley due to our salesperson, Gina Hite. She was pleasant, knowledgeable, and patient with us while we made our decisions, without being pushy . This was a big buy for us and we appreciated her help and experience!

Me and my wife had ordered bar stools that was to be shipped to the store. We was told they had came in so we drove all the way from big stone gap, va to find out they in fact was not there. The computer messed up and showed them to be there when they wasn’t. When Rich Roger’s and Gina Hite seen what had happened they jumped through hoops to get our issue solved and save us from having to make the long trip back! They was able to get us the floor models and we drove off with our stools! We highly recommend them and we will be buying all our furniture from them!

Richard was very helpful I had purchased a living room suite in 12.20 and told by sales lady is was leather paid $2600 for it it isn’t leather an I purchased the pet warranty which isn’t run out an warranty company won’t take care of it but the suit is peeling but Richard has helped me with purchasing another suit and was very helpful I really recommend him for your next purchase

I returned a $120 lamp. The man was NOT going to give me a receipt until I demanded it. I said I will not leave the store with no acknowledgement of receipt. He printed out my purchase receipt and wrote returned but refused to sign it. He said "I'M NOT SIGNING IT!" He was extremely unprofessional BECAUSE I had a return. When I said I wouldn't be back to Ashley, he said that's fine! Don't shop there.

We had a great experience at Ashley’s in Kingsport. They had the sectional we were after but we needed a right facing sofa chaise so they ordered it for us. Cassi was awesome. No pressure assistance, answered all of our questions regarding size, ordering, shipping, price matching, protection and more. She even helped me measure it with a tape measure. We were also able to have it shipped closer to home so that we as an added bonus. Definitely a good experience. Ask for Cassi if you go.

We started out just stopping by to browse. Cassi was immediately attentive to our needs and advised us of the lay out of the store and where to find everything we may have needed. He was friendly, kind, helpful and pointed us in the direction of some real deals. And I must say, Rich smelled amazing, his cologne was subtle and professional. Unfortunately, I can't remember the young lady who completed the sales transaction but she was so personable and easy to work with. Not to mention, she was kind and welcoming. Went to Ashley Furniture on a Grand Opening Day. Everyone was nice and welcoming. Beautiful furniture & accessories. Richard R. was great! He assisted my daughter in buying her own couch for the first time. Richard was very kind and helpful!

We shopped with Rich while he was at the new Chillicothe Ohio location at their Grand Opening event. I had a wonderful experience. Shopping for anything with me is a long process, I research and overthink every last detail. So I came prepared to spend a good bit of time and didn’t want to tie him up from other customers. So I communicated to him my plan and asked that he just allow me to let him know when I was ready. He was phenomenal!!! He checked back often, most times having to search the entire store for me. But he hung in with me, was beyond kind and even shared his contact information with me so that the next time we are through Tennessee we can stop in Kingsport and visit. Ultimately we made our purchase of a sectional, once home we noticed 2 mistakes on the invoice (their computers went down during our sale) I called the next day and Rich immediately fixed the issue which included ordering an additional piece of the sofa at no additional cost to us. I truly expected to call in the next day, talk to a random customer service person who would tell me that since I didn’t notice before signing there was nothing they could do. But nope! Rich took care of it!!! This is a first for me! I walked out on a purchase at Big Sandy about 5 months ago because of their failure to communicate and deceitful antics of tacking on additional costs. Rich and Ashley’s has given me hope of a future of purchasing furniture locally and not being forced to only purchase online! Thank you Rich and the whole team that came for Chillicothe’s Grand Opening. You set the bar high!

We have had the most trouble with these people and store… they also signed us up for credit cards that they TOLD US we could use at any furniture store.. that was a lie. On top of that the furniture we bought from here never arrived on time and they lied again to us.. we had to get one of the floor couch’s because we didn’t have anything to sit on for about a month or longer. Just a horrible place to buy from. I wouldn’t waste your money here.

My husband and I had come in to look at a specific sofa which was no longer available, but she encouraged us to browse the store and check out the sale priced merchandise. We found an item that was so lovely and priced so well that we decided to buy it. Cassi’s personal attention and ability to provide answers to every question that we had was very helpful to us. Went to Ashley's to look at new sofa and love seat since they were having a sale. Walked in and was greated immediately by Mark Eckert. He explained the sale going on and offered help of we needed it. I'm not the one that likes to be hovered around when looking to buy something. Mark wasn't like that at all. He gave us the space to look and then answered any and all questions we had. He also gave us his opinion when it came to finding the right sofa and love seat. Needless to say we ended up with sofa, loveseat, and also a TV stand. If your looking to purchase something like that I would recommend going to Ashley's and asking for Mark. He will be more than happy to help.

I would leave zero stars if I could. We bought a sofa there, and the workers damaged it while loading it,leaving a huge tear in the leather couch. They refused to do anything aside from offer us $100. They did not even apologize! We spent over $3,000 that day only to be left with a damaged couch. The workers even lied and said that my husband said he was ok with the tear, which is ridiculous. We will never shop there again and are considering taking legal action.

We recently bought a Mattress and a couch witch costed us almost over 10,000. They call us a couple days before saying they don’t have a couch in stock anymore we have to wait. Ok whatever. Then the day we move in they just have to deliver it at 8:00 in the morning or they just have to reschedule it for 3 days later.. if we would have known this we wouldn’t have spent that much money here. How can you tell someone that bought something for them when it will be delivered. Such a horrible experience.

Mark Eckert was amazing to work with. I had been in a few weeks earlier and had my things picked out. He got right on my purchase. I had an issue with my pre-approval that was my own fault but Mark made a call and they were able to finish up my loan in minutes. Took a couple weeks for delivery but the guys were amazing. The mattress is on backorder still but I can sleep on my sectional while I wait!

We had a great experience with Ashley Furniture. Mark Eckert was our sales person and he helped us find the bed to best suit our needs. Their sales staff is very attentive and go above and beyond to make sure you are happy with your choices. Thank you. However, the girl at the front that checks you out and does the final paperwork needs some improvement in her people skills.

As a walk in customer we were told that we would get the best price, I got online after purchase and seen we were overcharged by $800. my wife went back and had it taken off the bill. They also told us we had to return a gift they gave us when they had to reduce our bill. Typical shady salesman tactics. It’s a shame, would of bought more from them but the salesman lost my trust.

I can finally go back to the kingsport store now that Rich Rogers is back. I started shopping at Zacks after he left but they never treated me as good as he did. He called me and told me he was back and i thought how great it is that he remembers his customers. Thank you for all you have done for me.

At first I thought this company was great but I soon found out that they take your money really fast and don’t get in any hurry to deliver your purchases… After almost 3 weeks I still had not been contacted for a delivery date… Did not receive any updates from my sales lady… And when I called I felt like I was a bother to them….. Finally I got sick of waiting for all my stuff to be delivered so I cancelled the order and they have the audacity to tell me I owe them 25% for my cancellation!! And no they did not verbally go over this with me, I was just handed paperwork and told where to sign and initial. Do not recommend Ashley furniture at all!!

This Not iKEA, the store has a nice presentation, I like some of the furniture, but dislike two things - price is high and the employees jump on customers when they roll in through the door. Some may appreciate the customer service, but it feels like a car-sales commission tactic. I realize this is not economic priced iKEA, so I will rate this review on presentation and nice customer service. There are a few cute things I wouldn't mind owning and I'll probably go back soon.

As someone who was shopping furniture for the first time ever, I walked in with a looming sense of anxiety as this was entirely new territory for me. However upon entering, the welcoming hello from Mattie made me feel comfortable enough to come back and ask for assistance with purchasing a set. She was kind, patient with someone new like myself, and extremelt informative on the process.
