Went to buy a bed and all the accessories. He sold me items they didn't have then substituted things I didn't want. Answer was the item was on back order nothing to be done. Why are you selling things you don't have and substituting things ppl didn't ask for instead of telling them the truth? Also I know delivery times may vary but the 20th of December and the 5th of January are quite different.

I will not give them a good review as I have paid close to $600 dollar for a full size bed on Nov 22 2025. I was told 4 different stories by now only the saleswoman , the two different supposably managers there and someone named Kelly at the 304 area code number they gave me. The bed was supposed to be in by Dec 4 th . Then that date changed to Dec 11 /13 . Again when I called they said the bed had come in to call the 304 number to set up delivery time. After three calls to that number and finally getting a hold of some woman named kelly she told me no the bed did not come in only the rails did. After hearing that I called Ashley back and the woman there on the phone told me it did come in but it was damaged. I didn't pay for the bed in a check I paid cash. I requested a refund which they told me I would receive in the mail by check. I have been without a bed and the stress of taking cancer treatment for 14 long years and being ripped off and treated like this . I filed several online complaints with the BBB and The Federal Trade Commission. I intend to pay the fee at the Courthouse in Kingsport Tn and file a civil lawsuit to not only get my money back but court cost , filing fees and attorney fees if need be. I have no intentions of letting them keep my money for something I never received and was lied to about. This is a public group I belong to on FB there are now close to 10,000 members all complaining about their purchases at Ashley's stores

I was looking for a new mattress and came to the Ashley store in Kingsport as my third option. Katy, one of the workers there, was extremely helpful and explained every dimension of what I was getting into. She insured that I found my favorite mattress and headboard. She was also very friendly and sociable, which goes a long way in any customer service. If I need any furniture down the line, I'll come here first and ask for Katy.

We recently went to Ashley because we bought a Purple mattress a couple years ago that didn't hold up. Since they do have a warranty Ashley furniture gave us a credit for the entire price of the mattress. Rich assisted me in finding just what I was looking for. He is very professional and very knowledgeable in the business of furniture. He has a great personality and sense of humor to go along with it. Go see them for whatever furniture needs you have.

While my daughter was conducting business at Ashley Furniture in Kingsport, I looked around at all the wonderful things that Ashley sells. Talked to Rich ,who was very nice and knowledgeable about what we were looking for. My daughter found just what we needed and we can't wait until it is delivered. Thank you, Rich.

Was looking for a sectional sofa and all they had was giant ones so we left.

The couch I purchased was horrible quality. It was already broken down and the chaise was 3 inches to short. I was lied to about when my replacement was going to be delivered. When I complained to the manager Curtis who sold us the couch. He said he would give me $200 credit and should have it in a few days. Never got it. My husband called to ask him about it and he told him I would get it after my replacement was delivered. Never got it. The replacement couch is also a piece of crap. It broke down within1 day. I have already wrote a complaint to the better business bureau and will also be contacting corporate. I want my money back. This furniture is trash and the customer service is even worse. Only giving it one star because it is making me before I can post this review. It should be -100

We’ve been looking at purchasing a new bed for years. We decided the Labor Day sale was perfect timing. We searched every Furniture/Mattress store trying to find our best bargain. Checking on every bed and feeling out every mattress, it was going down today if the price was right. With a handful of business cards and promises from each retailer, we realized Rich was the real deal. Rich sold us a mattress we never knew we needed or could afford. The employees at Ashley will do whatever they can to get you the right price and make you happy. They don’t hassle you with gimmicks and big words. If they say they can do it, they will make it happen. We had another furniture store with the same exact item and brand, trying to discount the floor model to us. Rich and the other employees helped us feel like we weren’t getting pushed around on a deal or talking us into something we didn’t want or need. It’s awesome to not just be treated like a $Dollar sign. We were offered different payment options without a lot of questions. You need furniture? Go see Rich at Ashley in Kingsport. He will do the best he can for you. In the little bit of time we were there, we felt like we had known Rich and Gina for years.

Very nice people working there, but they are definitely salesmen.. look at prices before you go, because they will give you the “best deal imaginable” and later on you’ll see they charged you $400 more than it was on the website. Also, delivery fees are wild, and even after paying this absurd delivery fee and for them to assemble, you’ll have to re-do it because they’re quick, fast and in a hurry to get out of there.

I tell you what, we met the nicest people today at Ashley Furniture in Kingsport! Rich took care of us as soon as we walked through the doors. He was amazing and so accommodating in helping us with our purchase. Rich and other staff even sang Happy Birthday to me and my husband, as our birthdays were today and tomorrow! Awesome service and a big shout out to Rich! Look him up if you need help picking out some new furnishings!

Need a bedroom suit, and just started looking today for the first time. Went to Ashley’s first. Salesman was nice in the first interaction then became super pushy as time went on. He kept trying to give me this “spectacular deal just for me.” Was going to pay cash for all of it, but he wanted to sign me up for their wonderful 12 months no interest card. I guess he assumed I needed the card. I told him no not today I’m just looking. He turned around and walked off mumbling to his coworker, probably because we weren’t buying today. Well, we will never buy from this store now. Walked out and threw his card in the trash where it belongs. Ps. After looking at their entire selection of furniture, it is all the same quality. Amazon quality!

I visited Ashley in Kingsport, TN. It's important to say that. I went to shop and look around for a nightstand and possibly a couch/recliner. The saleslady was rude. She stated to another employee that it didn't look like I could afford nothing in their store. I work nights, so I was dressed down. I don't always have on makeup...at least 95 percent of the time from working 16 hrs straight lol. Anyway, other than that, they seem to be alright.

My mother is visiting from Iowa and found a recliner she wants while in the Kingsport location. Even though Rich Rogers will not benefit from a sale, he treated us with the utmost respect as if he would; would highly recommend Rich for your next furniture purchase!

We bought new adjustable beds with different types of mattresses. The frames are on backorder. My wife's mattress was available after 3 weeks with no frame . Had to fight to get a loner frame. They said it would be here 2 weeks ago and reschedule for the following Monday with a confirmation email. My wife got a call Monday morning from the store saying it was delayed until Thursday. She was very upset and told the lady she had a confirmation email and sent it to her. She then said that the mattress was on the truck with no frame. My wife made it very clear to her that they will both be delivered today. Finally, she got both items in separate deliveries . The delivery team was very nice and apologized for the trouble. My son and I went in to find 2 chests. I was greeted by Harley who I found out is pretty new. I had the best experience I have ever had at any furniture store. I had my youngest son with me and he was so sweet to him as well. I brought my own tape measure thinking I'd have to measure and all that. He asked what we needed and walked me all around the store where they had chests and measured for me. Updated review. Impressive sales rep (Rich Rogers), but that's where the goodness stopped. After being told, "2-3 weeks for delivery", it actually took over 6 weeks to finally receive our dining room table, chairs, and stools. Upon receipt, the table, chairs, and stools all wobbled. In other words, someone didn't "QC" the leg length. The furniture also didn't come with adjustable feet for properly balancing. Bad on me for not doing more homework. The products look great, but attention to detail isn't!

We went into Ashley furniture with no intention of a purchase. We simply wanted to check out mattresses, specifically the Purple brand. The staff left us alone until we had laid down on several mattresses, trying them out. At that point, Richard Rogers asked if we might need some assistance. We said certainly. He’s a very nice man, and very knowledgeable on mattresses. He suggested we use the assessment machine to get an idea of what our bodies might find most useful. Interesting technology. Long story short, we did buy a mattress and base that elevates While we likely could have chased around for a better deal, our time was best used at the Kingsport Ashley store. We are very happy with the support Rich provided. He’s obviously a salesman but he knows his stuff and doesn’t seem to be prone to up selling efforts. We are very satisfied with the result!!

After going to another store and being told out couch would be delivered today, then getting a call saying they didn't have all the pieces, we ended up at Ashley's. Rich was amazing!! We found the same couch we were supposed to be getting, but it was more than the other store. Rich not only gave us a great price but made sure we got delivery and warranty for a lower price. We only paid $100 more with Ashley's, but Rich was able to guarantee delivery! If you go to Ashley's in Kingsport ask for Rich he will take good care of you.

I went in to buy a mattress and boxed springs yesterday, and he was as helpful as always. He introduced me to a sales person named Vanessa, and she took excellent care of me during the purchase. The really nice thing is that it is not a high-pressure sales environment. The people are friendly and seem to really work well as a team helping each other. Me and my wife had ordered bar stools that was to be shipped to the store. We was told they had came in so we drove all the way from big stone gap, va to find out they in fact was not there. The computer messed up and showed them to be there when they wasn’t. When Rich Roger’s and Gina Hite seen what had happened they jumped through hoops to get our issue solved and save us from having to make the long trip back! They was able to get us the floor models and we drove off with our stools! We highly recommend them and we will be buying all our furniture from them!

No pressure assistance, answered all of our questions regarding size, ordering, shipping, price matching, protection and more. She even helped me measure it with a tape measure. Experience was great. Rich was able to price match competitors even when others at Ashley said they couldn't. He follow-up with the delivery team to move our date up. We are running into issues with the drawers and Rich is working on getting that resolved.

Went to Ashley Furniture on a Grand Opening Day. Everyone was nice and welcoming. Beautiful furniture & accessories. Richard R. was great! He assisted my daughter in buying her own couch for the first time. Richard was very kind and helpful!

We shopped with Rich while he was at the new Chillicothe Ohio location at their Grand Opening event. I had a wonderful experience. Shopping for anything with me is a long process, I research and overthink every last detail. So I came prepared to spend a good bit of time and didn’t want to tie him up from other customers. So I communicated to him my plan and asked that he just allow me to let him know when I was ready. He was phenomenal!!! He checked back often, most times having to search the entire store for me. But he hung in with me, was beyond kind and even shared his contact information with me so that the next time we are through Tennessee we can stop in Kingsport and visit. Ultimately we made our purchase of a sectional, once home we noticed 2 mistakes on the invoice (their computers went down during our sale) I called the next day and Rich immediately fixed the issue which included ordering an additional piece of the sofa at no additional cost to us. I truly expected to call in the next day, talk to a random customer service person who would tell me that since I didn’t notice before signing there was nothing they could do. But nope! Rich took care of it!!! This is a first for me! I walked out on a purchase at Big Sandy about 5 months ago because of their failure to communicate and deceitful antics of tacking on additional costs. Rich and Ashley’s has given me hope of a future of purchasing furniture locally and not being forced to only purchase online! Thank you Rich and the whole team that came for Chillicothe’s Grand Opening. You set the bar high!

I just went to Ashley Furniture. In their new location. It’s great. They introduced themselves, asked me what I was looking for and told me where I could find the bed frames. I browsed the store and I found one I really liked. It was really marked down. I walked around some more but I liked the marked down one the best. Brittney told me it was a very durable wood bed. She didn’t try to steer me in a higher price range. She was great. Everyone was super friendly. Thank you. I will shop with you again!
