...lots of negative reviews on here, and I now know why.....we were ready to make a purchase, but a young lady with attitude ensured we didn't- even my wife was mad, and she doesn't get mad about this stuff.....meh, it is what it is-- we'll buy elsewhere.....
I called from out of state and needed furniture for our new home in TN.Sarah was extremely helpful with selections and our schedule for delivery . Thank you Sarah !!
Do NOT buy a mattress from here!! My husband and I went to Ashley furniture and we were helped by the saleslady Sarah. (Who is the owners daughter and one of the managers) We were interested in purchasing a mattress and asked if they would take our old mattress when they dropped off our new mattress. (which is customary when purchasing a mattress)She said yes they would take our old mattress. Both my husband and I heard her say it. They delivered our new mattress and the movers said they do not take the old mattress. I told him that I was told by Sarah that they take it. I said what am I supposed to do with it? He suggested calling a charity to take it. In the meantime we had to put the king size mattress and box springs inside the house. I called Sarah the next day and I told her that I wanted Ashley Furniture to take care of there old mattress like she told us she would do. She said there was nothing she could do for us and suggested we pay $100 to have Junk Be Gone come pick it up. I asked for Ashley Furniture to pay for it to be removed since she told us they would take the old mattress. She said they won't pay for anything. I told her that she lied to us and we never would have bought a mattress from them if we knew that we would have deal with the hassle and added expense of getting rid of the old mattress. I told her they have horrible customer service and she didn't care "Because they are the largest furniture store in the country"....do yourself a favor and do NOT shop here. They have lost my business and the business from our friends and family.
AVOID Ashley Furniture Store at all cost!! We went in to buy a chair and they said they had it in stock and it would be to us in 4 days. They called the day before and said it was out of stock and it would be weeks before they could get it to us with no clue as to the date it would be delivered. I ask for a refund and got the run around.. "Come in in 3 or 4 days and we will do it". I ask for a manger and then the salesman got back on the phone and said to come in today. I went that day and they gave me a receipt for a refund. HOWEVER, I waited a week and NEVER got the refund!!! Tried calling them and got no answer! THEY are liars and dont care about the customer at all. If I could give them ZERO stars I would! Finally got ahold of them as was told that refunds take up to 30 days..WOW!!!
I try to shop locally owned stores & with friends & people I know. I absolutely recommend Ashley furniture for helping my mom with her new living room set. Sarah Harris Quillen went above & beyond for my mom. She even came in after her important doctors appointment when the back desk couldn’t find our order just to rewrite it! My mom is so excited about it & they saved her well over $1,000 with their prices. So 1000000% recommend this store & working with Sarah 🙏🏽❤️
We were in need of a bedroom suite. In the past we have purchased furniture from Ashley. So we went back to Ashley @ Turkey Creek to look for a bedroom suite. Fredrick Williams greeted us when we walked in and asked if he could assist us. Frederick was super nice, great personality, and was so helpful. We did purchase a bedroom suite, which we are very happy with. Also the two gentlemen that delivered the furniture were great, nice, on time, and did an awesome job setting up. With the experience we had with Frederick our sales person and the delivery men, we would recommend Ashley's to our friends and family.
Don’t ever order from this store we placed an order and they delivered to the old address our salesperson was Anne and we told her we were moving never bothered to confirm the new address and we live 30 minutes away from the old address and would have to reschedule because of her mistake and now they won’t refund us until Monday have to drive an hour to the store to get our money back which it’s okay for us to drive an hour to get our money back but can’t bother the drives for half an hour worst customer service Sherri the store manager didn’t bother to help at all and the people of the store are useless and we will take our money else where that’s why the reviews are horrible and need new management
Shop a different location, stay away from Turkey Creek !!!! I don't recommend dealing with Sara Harris Quillen ho has no knowledge as a salesperson or Sheryl Blair who is a very rude manager. Both can't even bother to apologize!!
I bought a recliner from Ashley back in September. The price was good however it was out of stock for 6 weeks. They asked me before I bought the chair if that was OK. This is a plus. At least I knew beforehand. As promised I had the chair in 6 weeks. After it was assembled. The delivery service was good. We noticed a very visible blemish on the back of the chair. The driver assured me they company would make good. It took a bit, but they did send out a repair technician who could not clean it up. He said he would order a new one. Again, it may take 6 weeks. However, it only took two weeks. Another 3 weeks to schedule an appointment but it was now the holiday season. This very polite and efficent technician came yesterday on time I might add and quickly fixed the chair. The amount of time involved overall may sound like a bit much, but we do have a labor shortage and everyone at Ashley remained polite while at times I was vexed. I would and will gladly buy from them again.
Would give zero stars if I could. Absolutely terrible experience with Ashley Furniture. We purchased 2 desks and were able to pick them up same day. One came in original box and the other in what they call “re-wrap”. During assembly of the “re-wrapped” desk, all of the hardware was missing and the desk was damaged in multiple areas. We called Ann, our sales person, to resolve the issue. We waited 4 hours to hear when we would be able to replace the desk and never received a response, so we decided to return for a refund. It was like pulling tooth and nail to get a refund. Sherry Blair, the store manager was very rude from the moment I spoke to her. She made the comment “this is not Walmart, you can’t just return stuff” when I told her I wanted a refund for damaged furniture. She explained that their store policy states no refunds and that it is on the receipt. ***for one, the receipt is not given until after purchase and our sales person did not mention the no refund policy.*** I was given the go around for 2 days and finally took it upon myself to return them back to the warehouse and demand a refund. We will never do business with Ashley or affiliated Ashley furniture stores again!!
