Shady business & awful service I cancelled part of my order months ago (within days of the original order), yet they've kept it open and charged me a delivery fee for an item I never received. Customer service has been completely unresponsive and unhelpful. My sales rep just said he'd take care of it, but didn't do anything. Now he doesn't even work there. They even applied a sales tax rate above the local 9.75%—I had to double‑check because it was so blatant. Avoid at your own risk. They'll probably respond with a "call this number." That'll get me someone offshore who has no authority to do anything. I've already called that number; several times.

I am writing this review as I was the one present for the delivery of my brother's new furniture from Ashley, and I am appalled by the conduct of their delivery team. What should have been an exciting day turned into a stressful and intimidating experience. When the items were brought in, it was immediately clear that several pieces were damaged right off the truck. When I pointed this out to the delivery crew, they were completely dismissive. They flatly refused to remove the damaged items and load them back onto their truck. Feeling pressured and unsure of what to do, I told them I needed to call Ashley's customer service for instructions. They refused to wait while I made the call, creating a very tense atmosphere. My brother, who made the purchase, was only ten minutes away. I pleaded with them to simply wait for him to arrive so he could inspect the items himself and decide how to proceed. Again, they refused. Their only interest was in getting a signature so they could leave. My brother’s fiancé, who was also there, felt cornered and reluctantly signed just to get them to leave. The entire situation felt like we were being held hostage by their delivery schedule. Their refusal to wait a mere ten minutes, their unwillingness to assist with damaged goods, and the immense pressure they put on us was completely unprofessional. This delivery experience has significantly soured our view of Ashley Furniture. It set the stage for all the problems my brother is now trying to resolve, and from what I understand, Ashley is now being incredibly difficult in solving these very issues. It seems their poor customer service doesn't end with the delivery. We felt powerless and disrespected, and I would be wary of any company whose representatives behave this way.

I am writing to provide a final, and happily, very positive update to my experience with Ashley Furniture. After a very rocky and stressful start to our purchase, I am thrilled to report that the customer service and management team, specifically Demario and Harley, have completely turned our situation around. While the initial phase of our delivery was fraught with significant issues—including damaged items, missing pieces, and a critical issue with a product that caused a health concern—the response from the team once they took ownership was exceptional. I want to extend our sincerest thanks to Demario and Harley, as well as the others who stepped in to help. They listened to our frustrations with patience and empathy, and more importantly, they took decisive action. They didn't make excuses; they simply focused on the solution. They worked tirelessly to coordinate the return of the incorrect couch, the repair of damaged items, and the re-ordering of our missing bedroom furniture. They have honored their commitments, and the new furniture we have received is exactly what we had hoped for. The communication over the past few weeks has been clear, consistent, and reassuring. Every company can have a bad day, but the true measure of their quality is how they fix their mistakes. Ashley's team has proven they are committed to making things right for their customers. We are so relieved and happy with the beautiful furniture now in our home. Our final few pieces are scheduled to arrive next week, and we are confident that everything will be perfect.
