Ashley Store Madison, TN

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I went in to order a couch in November. My mother and I worked with Amelia. Because my mother got a better financing rate than myself, we used her name to get the couch, all the while being assured that the couch would be delivered to me, not my mother. After already having to reschedule and delay the delivery by over a week, I was told 2 days before the delivery I would be called and told a delivery window. 2 days before came and went and there was not a peep. So now I have to call them 1 day before the delivery date. When I talk to the person they say that the couch has been scheduled to go to my mother’s house. Even though, myself, my mother and Amelia(who works there) had a conversation and I even stated I was concerned about the delivery address being wrong. Amelia assured me that the couch would be sent to the right place. Clearly that was BS, because they were planning to deliver it to the WRONG STATE!!!! So now I’m waiting for a call back from both Amelia and a manger to try to figure out how they can make this right. Completely unacceptable behavior, and it’s frankly shocking how I can express my concerns, be assured that won’t happen, and then the exact thing I was concerned about ends up happening. This will be my first and final time ever dealing with this store and Amelia. Updated after the owner response: I called your number. A manager was supposed to call me back and they have not yet.

I won't have a mattress to sleep on for over a week because my sales person put the wrong order in.

I ordered online twice and both times my orders were canceled. The first issue was deemed a glitch in their system where online took 50% off my order instead of $50 off. Without a phone call they canceled my order. The second time I ordered online, the order was declined the next day. I called customer service and they stated they did not know why and that it must have been a system error again. For the second order, I was sent a $100 off coupon, which I was unable to use after it was declined. Customer service was not able to provide another coupon, even though it was not redeemed with the declined order. Such a disappointing experience for a huge nationwide company. Made my moving experience that much more stressful.

From the moment I walked in the store, I was greeted and helped. Anthony took the time to tell me about the furniture, listen to my concerns and what I wanted, and helped me with my purchase and at a wonderful price! I am so grateful and happy with the whole experience.

I ordered a coffee set months ago that I never received, between customer service and the store, I’ve continued to get the run around as they play the blame game. I didn’t receive my merchandise due to the error of a sales associate and nothing was done about it. I do not recommend!

The store we went to advertised their Black Friday hours as 7 am - 11:59 pm, we arrived at 7:30 am to find the doors locked. Then what we had seen advertised we found out was something they didn’t carry in the stores. We did find something else that we bought but if they would have had the original item we would have spent more money so I guess that’s their loss.

The staff were really nice. Of course, they took me to the most expensive beds, but the most expensive beds were the ones recommended to me by several people with chronic pain issues like myself, so I was expecting to spend quite bit and boy did I! As I said, everyone was really nice, I tested every bed in that store to ensure that the Tempur-Pedic was indeed necessary -- it was. When I layed down, I was confused because it was the first time I'd not felt intense pain when laying down. I chose the bed, frame, and base and then proceeded to wait for delivery. The delivery of my bed should be where it ends, but alas... I tried to return two items I bought in store due to not needing them. I was told that I couldn't do returns in the store and was given the corporate number. Corporate stated I couldn't return accepted items, and when I point out that all I wanted to return was two items I bought in-store, I was told that isn't possible. I then asked could I pay off a good chunk of the price of the bed that I put on credit, and was told that I had to go through "The Apps," which consists of the app of the financial institution they use for their lines of credit, and the Ashley furniture app. Why I need both you ask? For advertising of course. I'm not mad at the employees because policies are the policies, but the policies are stupid and do nothing but hasten the decline of in-person stores. However, I do love my bed, and thank the sale persons for unknowingly steering me straight to the bed I was told to get in the first place! I legit cried the first night due to having my first night free of severe pain and discomfort!

The people are Pleasant here, they're not always truthful. We bought a chair we was told it was made in America it was not. We picked it up from the warehouse and it was damaged. I called to make a complaint on it like the guy told me to. They said that the warranty was voided because I picked it up. And never again will I buy from them

Was supposed to receive merchandise 10/7 no go got a text saying to there before here tomorrow don't know haven't here. So far I'm disappointed 😞 😔

My husband and I had an amazing experience yesterday purchasing a new sectional. The quality and price point of their inventory is exceptional! Eddie and Demario were phenomenal in helping us with the entire process, and they were very patient and knowledgeable in answering any questions we had. Make 100% sure before you buy from here that you understand their return policy. Which means, there is no return policy. All sales are final here. I tried to return a sectional and they ghosted me. The guy helping me basically won’t answer my calls anymore. They even said he wasn’t working and was working when I called them. I only found out because I went down to the store and he was there. This place is shady. They didn’t explain the return policy to me a single time. I only found out because the couch wasn’t going to work out for us. On the 4th page of a 5 page document in small letters is where you can find their “return” policy. It’s nonexistent. If everyone knew about their policy, no one would buy from Ashley. This is my first and last purchase from this store chain. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Great transaction at Ashley’s.

Everything I’ve purchased from here has been trash. The customer service AFTER you purchase an item has been horrible. My couch came ripped. No one seemed to care about that when I sent a request for it to be fixed. My other couch that I purchased, legs don’t have holes that can be attached . Straight garbage. I’ll never again step foot in this store. Gm was great with helping me but everyone else giving me support…. Lied and don’t respond. Wish I could attach pics because you the proof is in the pudding. I hate leaving bad reviews but you deserve it!

We went on Ashley’s website and live chatted with a sales agent who helped us save over $400 dollars from what the in store sales reps told us! It is unfortunate that the in store sales reps act like they are giving you THE best deal but they aren’t. We tried multiple times with the in store reps but they acted like they were giving us the best price and talked about all these deals and all this and that but it seems they hike up the in store pricing to make it seem like you are getting a better deal when they are not. I recommend negotiating with the online sales reps that you speak to via chat from Ashley’s website. They are the real deal. We are waiting on our furniture to be delivered so will follow up with pictures once it’s all here!

My sales person, Mario, at Ashley’s was absolutely OUTSTANDING!!! He was in serving mode from the time I stepped in the store. He was working with my price range and made sure I walked out with the quality furniture I needed. He established a relationship with me that I know , for future furniture purchases, I will only go to the Ashley’s where he works to do my furniture purchases. Shady business & awful service I cancelled part of my order months ago (within days of the original order), yet they've kept it open and charged me a delivery fee for an item I never received. Customer service has been completely unresponsive and unhelpful. My sales rep just said he'd take care of it, but didn't do anything. Now he doesn't even work there. They even applied a sales tax rate above the local 9.75%—I had to double‑check because it was so blatant. Avoid at your own risk. They'll probably respond with a "call this number." That'll get me someone offshore who has no authority to do anything. I've already called that number; several times.

Amazing service, helpful and professional!

If I could give 0 stars I would. My husband and I have spent thousands of dollars at this company for the manager to completely stop responding to our emails to resolve our ongoing issue from 6 months ago. I am not even going to waste my time typing what happened because it’s useless. And please do not respond to this review with the “I’m so sorry about your experience, please use this phone number to call/text to get this issue resolved” because that is also useless. we have tried texting/calling/emailing to no avail. Please be aware and do NOT buy your furniture from here. Truly pathetic. Here’s a screenshot of the last email that the manager responded to before he ghosted us and still have not received a refund! 🙂🙂🙂

I would not purchase any furniture from Ashley. We purchased furniture from them a week ago, we had nothing but problems out of are furniture. Recliner goes up on its own and the couch is a recliner couch on the left side of the couch leans in not flush with the middle. it’s junk now they will not return them because they have a no return policy. Run away as fast as possible!!!

Everyone is super helpful and kind. We ordered here back in 2007 and just upgraded our furniture this year. Delivery and ordering was easy and they have the best selection vs other local stores. Prices are great as well.

5/5. Great customer service and great deals. They priced matched everything online and we saved almost 3,000 in savings. Brandon and Hassan are amazing.

Bought the $500 no use no lose protection plan in January of 2020. If you don’t use, you get that credit back toward furniture in 5 years. Fast forward to January of this year we come back to use the credit. Order is placed and credit is taken off. We think everything is good. Furniture doesn’t get delivered back to back weeks like it’s scheduled. Customer service can’t tell me why. Go back into the store and manager Jason Gross places a 2nd order and says he will take off the $500 plus the $169.99 delivery fee for our troubles. The purchase was done January 19. Delivery was Feb 13. It’s now June 20 and he credit and delivery fee hasn’t been removed yet. Called cust service and emailed the store manager more then 10 times and gotten no where. Even filled a BBB complaint for them to make one attempt to call me and then no other communication before closing the complaint. The customer service of this company is a joke. So is the Madison, TN store manager Jason Gross

I had a wonderful experience here. I went in looking for a recliner that was on Ashley.com and surprisingly they had it in store. The sales associate Mario, was very attentive and patient. He was very informative and answered all my questions. It was a very good experience (furniture shopping can be stressful) and I would suggest asking for him if you're looking to purchase in store.

My wife and I were shopping for a quality sectional that matched our budget and living room without skimping on quality or comfort. After visiting 5 different furniture stores we decided to visit Ashley Furniture in Goodlettsville TN. We walked in and was immediately greeted by Brandon Mitchell their sales representative. He was friendly, professional and knowledgeable and carefully listened to our description of what we were looking for. He took us right over to what my wife and I can only describe as a perfect match. He carefully told us about the features and different options available and walked us through customizing the different sections to create a perfect fit, he even gave a couple demonstrations to prove the quality. Brandon helped compare and contrast the similarities and differences of this Ashley Furniture sectional and the other brands we had looked at. If it wasn’t for Brandon’s professionalism and knowledge we would probably still be traveling around from furniture store to furniture store searching. It was a very stress free experience and we look forward to the delivery of the new comfy addition to our living room.

Everything was extremely detailed. I love how the salesman walked me through my mattress purchase to find the right fit for me and the right budget. He listened to what I wanted and what price range I wanted to be in, which is exactly why I went through with my purchase. I would definitely recommend the store to anybody. You get treated with respect. The sales associate takes time with you and understand what you’re looking for.

Be wary of shopping at Ashley's in Madison!!! I purchased a mattress over Memorial Day Weekend at Ashley's in Madison. The salesperson, a young woman, assured me that if I financed my purchase for 36 months and paid it off before the deadline, there would be no finance fees or promotional charges. I asked her repeatedly if she was sure this was correct. Repeatedly she said yes, also telling me she checked with her manager and district manager and they assured her this was correct. She also told me there was a special deal happening (Memorial Day Cash is the code she entered into the terminal), that would entitle me to a Visa gift card worth $300+ to use for anything I wanted to spend it on, including making payments on my mattress. I was so convinced by her that I made the mistake of not reading the fine print when it came time to sign the paperwork. Guess what? The fine print said there was a 2% fee because I financed for 36 months! I didn't see that until I got my bill and saw the fee on the bill. I called the finance company and they looked into it. After 60 days I got a letter that said because I signed the paperwork, there was nothing they/the company could/would do. I spoke with the salesperson, and although she said she was working on it and had discussed it with her manager, she never followed up with me ... I was ghosted. And that $300+ gift card she promised me? I never received it. I won't shop at Ashley's again. If you do, remember to read all the fine print on the paperwork BEFORE you sign it, no matter how long it takes, because you can't rely on the salesperson to give you the correct information.

I went in to buy a couch and it was an amazing experience, I have spent countless hours on the phone with agent after agent and received at this point hundreds of calls and texts with no result of delivery. The delivery was rescheduled and then not delivered on the planned day. I was offered $470 off for the mishap but nobody will send that in writing as proof nor has the pending charge on my credit card statement been adjusted. I just spend day after day going through an automated system to reach an agent on my lunch hour the only time I have available at work. The agent refuses to escalate the call and keeps stalling to "research". I am going to post the recordings of the last several calls on my local Facebook account and town accounts at this point to prevent anyone else from experiencing something exceptionally ridiculous. Thanks for the horrible experience!

Had a great experience today purchasing a complete bedroom suite with mattress and adjustable base. We knew going into the store which bedroom suite we wanted so that part was easy. We also knew that we wanted a split king adjustable base but we were unsure about mattresses and the features offered on the base. Mario was wonderful!!! He had us try a few different brands and types of mattresses. He patiently answered all of our questions and worked to stay within our mattress budget. We never once felt pressured to purchase extras or go over our budget which was very appreciated. We’ve been told we should receive everything within about 2 weeks. So excited to sleep comfortably again!!

UPDATE: I called the number provided and they did absolutely nothing. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AND ESPECIALLY DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH JASON GROSS, THE STORE MANAGER IN GOODLETTSVILLE. HE WON'T COMMUNICATE AND IF HE DOES, HE LIES. I have waited to write this review in the hopes that Jason Gross, Store Manager and long time acquaintance, would do the right thing but that’s not going to happen . I purchased a Stearnes and Foster mattress around mid-October and also was encouraged to buy a 300.00 mattress cover so I would be eligible for their return policy, which should have been my first red flag. Loved the mattress but around December a large hole formed in the middle and need to replace it. I spoke to customer service and they said we could exchange for another. Went to the store to pick another and a “mattress expert” approached us and started spouting off facts about certain mattresses. Told us since the mattress we purchased initially had a hole form, we might consider a more firm one this time. I told this person, I really don’t like a firm mattress but didn’t want another defective mattress. She proceeds to show us a medium temperpedic. I said this seems firm. What if we get this home and hate it? She said your return starts over with this mattress. You can return if you don’t like it. I get the mattress delivered and absolutely hate it. They’ve admitted I’ve gotten incorrect information from their sales person but corporate said they can’t take it back. When I’ve spoken with Jason Gross he says he’s turned in a return to corporate. So we’re stuck in a pattern of yes we’ll take care of it and no we won’t. I have spent around 5,000.00 on a mattress I can’t sleep on it and have been sleeping on an air mattress since 1/23/25. Avoid this place like he plague. They have uninformed salespeople that will tell you anything and to get you to buy. They also have a horrible store manager that will not respond to emails, phone calls or any type of messages. My husband has literally had to make numerous trips to the store to just talk to him.

It was really quite simple, this was the 3rd store we went to, looking for an oversized chair or love seat for my wife’s reading room. DeMario was awesome and walked us right to a giant oversized chair that my wife just loves. We looked at other stuff just in case but nothing was as good was that first piece. It felt like it was made with was great quality frame, fabric, and cushioning for a low cost. This piece appears to have high quality materials like Haverty’s but the lower price like Rooms to Go. We are very happy with the purchase and even got no interest for 6 months to soften up the cost.

I purchased a coffee table and dining table from Ashley Furniture less than 10 months ago, and I’m extremely disappointed with the quality. The coffee table developed a crack with minimal use, and now the paint on the dining table is already peeling – despite it being lightly used and well cared for. For the price I paid, I expected much better durability and craftsmanship. This is not the quality I was promised. I won’t be shopping here again and wouldn’t recommend Ashley to anyone looking for long-lasting furniture.

The delivery men showed up exactly as promised and quickly unloaded the sofa and explained all the bells and whistles.

My husband was one directly involved, however I was present. He called 800 number on paid receipt because 2 of the delivery numbers in our address were inverted. He had a terrible time getting out of the automated mess and kept asking for a representative. He was transferred to multiple employees whose English was definitely not their native language. They were both having trouble understanding the other. Apparently no English speaking employees were at call center. After a very long attempt, they each decided they could not check or correct our address. Was advised to call local store. Called 3x. Each time got a message saying staff too busy to answer calls and then hung up. He recalled 800 number again. Replay of previous attempts were the same. Our address is still incorrect in your system. It will not allow us to change online either. Hubby was furious and wasted an hour with issue still not corrected.

I was about to walk out because I couldn’t find what I was looking for but he showed me a room that I skipped over and I think I found exactly what I was looking for Update: The order wasn’t delivered on the day it was supposed to be. I called customer care and they said that it was because the order was on layaway but I paid in full. I had to call the home store and they informed me that it was canceled for a reason they do not know of and would have to redo the purchase. I am beyond frustrated. I took off work for the delivery and got rid of my old couch. So now my dogs and I will be laying on the floor watching tv for the next TWO WEEKS WAITING FOR THE COUCH THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE DELIVERED TODAY! Why couldn’t you call me to let me know this happened? Why isn’t there a system in place for this situation. I’ve bought most my furniture from Ashley’s. You lost a customer today. Update… again lol. Although they didn’t move the delivery date closer than I’d like, Ashley’s did reach out and give me 100$ store credit for my inconvenience. I appreciate the gesture and have changed the review from a 1 to a 4. 2nd update. They sent me damaged furniture and after I reported it back to them through their customer service line, they asked a few questions then went silent. I went to the store to talk to the agm, he told me to call him on that following Monday and got nothing. They told me he’d call me back. He never did. What a horrible experience just getting a couple of couches. Lost me as a customer and now I have a couch with nails sticking out of it. Thanks!!!

Very disappointed. Easy to order but my dresser was delivered damaged - visibly damaged. I’ve called twice and been told twice a claim was opened and I’d get a call within 24 hours for repair or replacement. Still nothing. I don’t recommend buying from Ashley furniture. Customer service is lacking and once they have your money, you’re no longer a concern.

Bought a dinning room set and scheduled delivery. Took a vacation day to be home for delivery and they tell me they delivered my furniture to someone else and I would have to wait another week and take off another day from work in order to get my furniture.

I have to change my original positive review because I am shocked by what followed. I also want to warn potential buyers: DO NOT TRUST ASHLEY'S TRANSPARENCY. I purchased a sleeper sofa from Ashley’s for one of my rooms, but when the delivery team arrived, they COULD NOT FIT IT IN. They tried multiple times and eventually concluded that the couch was simply TOO BIG. I felt bad for Matt, the salesman who worked hard to help me with my purchase, so instead of refusing the delivery, I told the team to leave it in my living room, planning to exchange it for another couch. I even tipped them for their efforts and gave them positive feedback. Immediately after, I called the store and asked for Matt, but he wasn’t available, and NO ONE EVER CALLED ME BACK. So, as soon as I had time, I went in person to pick a replacement and actually decided to buy TWO new couches, and a caffe table. The store manager assured me that we would do an exchange, and everything seemed fine. TODAY, I FOUND OUT THAT THEY WILL NEITHER EXCHANGE NOR ALLOW ME TO RETURN THE COUCH. Apparently, somewhere in the fine print, Ashley states they have a NO-REFUND POLICY. I was told that I "SHOULD HAVE READ EVERY PAGE OF THE AGREEMENT." Sure, I understand the importance of reading contracts—but let’s be honest, WHO EXPECTS SUCH A RIGID, CUSTOMER-UNFRIENDLY POLICY WHEN SHOPPING FOR FURNITURE? We trust that if something this crucial exists, a responsible salesman will inform us. The CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THE ESCALATION DEPARTMENT WAS SHOCKINGLY COLD, DISMISSIVE, AND UNWILLING TO ACKNOWLEDGE MY SITUATION. They refused to consider the fact that I CALLED IMMEDIATELY to speak with Matt, and that the ONLY REASON I didn’t refuse the couch on the spot being that I didn’t want the salesman to lose his commission. YES, I AM THAT CONSIDERATE OF A PERSON. But Ashley’s customer service showed ZERO consideration in return. They were unwilling to listen, acknowledge my concern, or show even basic decency toward a customer who was willing to spend far more than the cost of one couch. Even Matt later apologized to me for not calling back—but at that point, the damage was done. As a business owner myself, I find it incomprehensible that a company would choose such a CRUEL, RIGID, AND DISRESPECTFUL APPROACH toward its paying customers. Ashley Furniture may have lost just one sale, as of course, I won't buy the two couches and the caffe table I was planning to buy, but they’ve also lost my trust FOREVER. For reference, here was my original review before this disaster: "Matt was absolutely great! I was really impressed with the quality of the furniture, the huge selection, and the exceptional customer service!" WELL, NOT ANYMORE.

My experience with Ashley HomeStore and their third-party warranty service has been nothing short of infuriating. It has been nearly a year since I first contacted them to get my couch fixed, and the process has been an absolute disaster. I have scheduled tens of service appointments, many of which required me to take time off work. On multiple occasions, the service technicians simply didn’t show up, with no courtesy call or explanation. The lack of professionalism is astonishing. Their customer service department is equally appalling. Each call is an exercise in frustration—long wait times, representatives who seem ill-equipped to resolve issues, and empty promises that someone will follow up (spoiler: they don’t). Instead of addressing the problem, they shuffle you around endlessly, leaving you feeling like your time and money mean nothing to them. At this point, I’ve wasted countless hours trying to resolve what should have been a straightforward warranty claim. The couch remains unfixed, and the company’s complete disregard for customer satisfaction is glaringly obvious. I would strongly advise anyone to think twice before purchasing from Ashley HomeStore or relying on their warranty service. The ordeal has been exhausting, and I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone. Save yourself the time, money, and stress—shop elsewhere. Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (only because zero stars isn’t an option).

I paid for a table 1200 dollars, the table was small! It took me longer than it should and apart from that in less than a year it broke into pieces, I don't live with children or anything! I am very careful, what a poor quality of your products, I will never buy there again

Finally after purchasing I was expected to load my new furniture in my son's truck without store employees help Ashley's did not even provide a dolly.So I left all the furniture at the store. I loved the furniture but at 71 I could not load my own furniture. Manger was great but did not have any support.

Then after charging me a delivery fee we had to go with a third party that charged me $200 for the delivery and I still never got the $80 delivery fee refunded like I was promised. Ashley has the jankiest system ever. They have items that are online only that you cannot purchase in store. I tried my first time purchasing through my Ashley / Synchrony card and was able to purchase. A week later, it kept declining. I then tried my debit card and it declined too. Then after a couple tries, it went through. A day later, it emailed and said my order declined. It’s terrible with their customer service because no one can communicate on the phone. It’s chat only. And their sales reps suck because they wait about 5 minutes every response you give them. Also, I got something delivered and the workers they contract with are so lazy! They don’t wanna work. I also asked them to put shoe covers on and I provided them for the movers and they did not! Go to American Signature. They’re a little better. At least you can purchase online or get a little better delivery service.

The desk had the wrong legs and after another week we received new legs only to be told they couldn't get anyone out to complete the job until next month. The chair still hasn't arrived and has been delayed for at least another week. We paid cash for these items a month ago.

Decent in store service. Delivery has been an absolute nightmare. First delivery I was left with a sofa scraped so bad the frame was showing. On the second delivery, the exchange , they broke my table that also had to be exchanged so had to wait another two weeks to get another one. Third delivery try, when the delivery team came, I was on the phone with them directing them to my house and they got in a profanity filled angry altercation with a construction worker and I told them to not even come into my house and have someone else delivery Unprofessional to say the least. Since then haven’t been able to get a response from customer service on getting my coffee table. It’s Been over two months that I have had an original damaged one from them. If you buy overpriced furniture here, pick it up yourself. Don’t get delivery.

Quick purchase of a bedroom set for... HAD TO CHANGE MY REVIEW. SIX WEEKS AFTER PURCHASE THE DELIVERY DATE HAS CHANGED 4 TIMES. The salesman said it would take a week or two. Delivery was scheduled a month out. Then I got a text pushing it out two more weeks. We called the company and they said that the new day was wrong, it would take two more weeks, or 2 months total. I told him forget it, cancel our order. Who needs bedroom furniture anyway. I love living out of cardboard boxes. Costco has bedroom furniture. Don't shop here.

If I could give then a ZERO I would. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I made a purchase in the Madison location setting a delivery date for June 18th. Before exiting the store, I even requested that the salesmen (assistance mgr.) confirm my order. I get the notification for my order on the 18th and I am stop #13 with arrival expected at 3:15p. Drivers arrive at 5:30p, start unloading and the problems begin. I have no idea whose order this is but it is not mine. This bedroom suite is not the correct style nor color. I refuse the delivery and the saga deepens: 1) I call the store - automated line keeps circling and never reaches a person 2) The drivers call it in and label faulty delivery. The series of questions then begin like I forgot what I ordered (thankfully I took a picture before leaving the store on the original date of the order) 3) I have to drive to the store to check my own order show them what I ordered, confirm my own order was placed correctly, but the wrong items were delivered. I am told by the original sales person someone will call me to tell me next steps. 4) On the 19th I get a text msg indicating that the system needs to update in 24 hrs to begin to reschedule.(upgrade your system for a minimum 15 min alerts - its 2024 ) I ask if the clock started yesterday because the problem occurred 16 hours ago. I get a response that I'm schedule now for the 25th. Well, when in the hell did I inform you I was available on the 25th. How do you schedule to be at a customer house without asking them for availability is beyond me. I informed I travel for work and rearranged my calendar to be in town for the 18th and at home this week. The response was basically "oh well" our system routes...blah blah blah. So, basically this store/warehouse problem is now my problem to solve. Forcing me to have to either not go on my work trip or ask someone else to take off work to fix Ashley's problem. ASHLEY let me help you do your job because apparently you do not have the ability to raise to the expectation of me as a customer: 1) You are choosing to not deliver my furniture this week because it will inconvenience your delivery schedule. This is not a customer issue this is an Ashley issue. You have the ability to complete a "milk run" which is a delivery smaller in nature and although not cost effective can and should be instituted in instances for which you are at fault and the customer is unavailable to reschedule. 2) You should also be discounting the purchase or refunding the delivery fees as a courtesy for my inconvenience. 3) You should implement a quality control feature to your dispatch process prior to deliveries leaving the warehouse to prevent such occurrences. I ordered a gray/black furniture set and was delivered a brown set - simple quality check could have prevented this. 4) Stop worrying about whose fault it is with the customer. That is an internal issue and not something that should involve your customer. Your responsibility to your customer is to make it right not involve them in your investigation to see if the customer is at fault or if you are. Lastly, FIX IT! The consumer and supplier bond is rapidly degrading to the point the only sources for good service are online. Without customer service - in person customer service - you will continue to see the degradation of your retail value.

The people here are great. I am a leave me alone and let me look then I will come find you if needed type. They are a no pressure store. What really grabbed my attention was watching another employee who wasn't working the desk come get the customer to help them that was waiting in line also. That's great customer service. Yeah their prices are up there on some items but I just came from lazy boy who was outrageous with their prices.

Would not recommend Ashley’s AT ALL. I ordered my couch on 5/29 and has been giving me problems EVER SINCE. NO ONE HAS HELPED ME and I’ve been rescheduled 4 times for a delivery. I’ve taken off work 3 times and still no couch. I’ve expressed my complaints and no one seems to care. I asked to get a percentage off my couch and no one seems to know anything. I’ve talked with 6 people with the only one being a little knowledgeable was Austin. I do Not recommend getting furniture from here anymore. I was a long time customer but now I’d rather buy somewhere else. Please go somewhere that care about their customers. Will not be returning.

I paid $230 for a warranty. I was told if I did not use the warranty I would get my $230 back when I purchased another item. Thus, I found an item on line and went to the store to order. I was told by the salesman that I could not use the $230 for items on line. I found an item in store. I was told by the salesman that I could not use the $230 because the item was on sale. I found anther item in store not on sale. I was told that it did not cost enough for me to get the $230 back. DO NOT BUY THEIR WARRANTY!

We had an AMAZING experience in the store. However, when it came to delivery of our new furniture, everything was awful! The delivery driver said he couldn't come up our driveway and that I had to come down with a truck to help him. I don't have a truck, so I called my husband to come help. He drove home from work and when he pulled in, the delivery driver pulled out and said "ehh not my problem! It's your problem! Call the warehouse!" We called the driver, he laughed and said the same thing again. Then, we called the Ashley customer service number and were told there was nothing they could do. 0/10 will never buy from them again, just because of the delivery experience.

My husband and I just purchased a home in Gallatin, TN. We stopped by this Ashley location and met Scott Dickens. We had a situation that required the furniture we purchased get delivered within 48 hours. Due to our schedule Scott was able to work with an independent delivery company to get all the items delivered the same day. We ordered the products around 3pm. We had them delivered by 6pm at our home. Scott went above and beyond to help our situation. We will definitely order from him again and highly recommend working with Scott. Plus, he is a huge animal lover!

Don't bother looking for bedroom furniture here. The sales people we dealt with were great, the problem lies with sales training and stock. Our sales person said our bedroom set would be delivered by Friday, however Wednesday morning I received a phone call that our delivery date was on Thursday the following week. Needless to say, I called Ashley Furniture customer care which was in another country and cancelled my order. It seems like a large chain like Ashley Furniture could have the items they sell in stock in nearby warehouses, but that is not the case. It seems like everything they sell is still on a slow boat from China! 0 Stars for Ashley Furniture purchasing and inventory control!

Jeremy at Ashley in Madison, TN did a great job demonstrating all of the various type beds in the Tempur-Pedic brand that we were looking for. He was very knowledgeable and not pushy. He was also very helpful in the transaction that was tricky as we live in another state. We have used this store for another family member who lives in TN and will gladly recommend it! Will buy from again!

We had a delivery scheduled for 03/21/2024. We called the day before just to confirm delivery, we were then told it would be 2 more weeks because on the 15th they had to reorder our furniture, that it might have been damage but could not give us a good reason why it was delayed. I had a beginning of spring shopping day! My sales rep was very friendly, courteous, and outgoing. I purchased a Bladen hide a bed sofa and loveseat, and a recliner to match. They were comfortable and sturdy pieces of furniture and I think I will be very happy with them. I really liked the atmosphere in the store, and my sales rep.

Dreadful experience with Ashley Store in Ashley Customer Service! They chased me like hawks in store, I placed an order on February 19th, they charged me in full immediately with no delivery date in sight. One month later, I reached out to check on the item, nobody answers the call or returns back the voice mails. I eventually talked to someone in Customer Service who told me my order was cancelled because the item was discontinued. And nobody called me to refund me or let me know!!! I went to the store, a representative told me she couldn't cancel my order and refund me and wished me a nice day. I had called numerous times to get someone in Customer Service, and when I finally did, a request for a cancelation and refund was placed. But nothing is guaranteed. As of now, Ashley is holding $1,304 of my money, and I have no product. Useless to say, I spent half day calling all Ashley stores and outlets, they want me to go from Nashville to Chattanooga to pick it up myself from a store where they have it. I will NEVER buy from Ashley Furniture again, neither will I recommend it. For what their products costs, you would expect some degree of professionalism and care. Zero of each, not to speak about fairness.

Buyers be aware!!!!! This store does not back their products. We bought a couch and loveseat that requires a power cord to recline. When delivery showed up they didn't have the power cord. Called the store to make them aware I was told once you purchase the merchandise it's out of their hands call the warehouse. We paid a lot for this suite and only the loveseat reclines. Called the warehouse 1st time they shipped us the mechanics not a cord. Called the 2nd time Feb 5th still haven't received it. Called back yesterday and was told they are on backorder. What a joke. I am almost at a point of "Come get your junk and refund me " Done!!! Just want future customers to know the PROCESS!!

I went to shop for a lift chair for my elderly mother and found the perfect one… It was a great price and they even had a sale going on that reduced it by another one hundred dollars. Called customer service 2 days after they left the table. She said no service ticket was ever opened. Still waiting, it’s been 6 days. Listen to the other reviews. If you’re lucky and get your items with no issue good for you. If there’s a problem, good luck.

100% hands down the worst experience ive had ordering anything. I ordered a bed almost three months ago and despite given a two week estimate at time of purchase, never received my order. I called no less than 14 times over that time period and got a run around and guarantee of delivery "two weeks" away each time. They even scheduled a delivery with me at one point, so I stayed home and used a vacation day only to find out after calling (again) the next day, that they cancelled my delivery due to a stock issue. They tried to offer me a gift card TODAY when I cancelled which was honestly just insulting after the amount of unhelpfulness and non-answers I received each call previously. I can guarantee I wont let anyone I know buy from this company in the future - and I would save the headache if I were a prospective customer.

This Ashley furniture store is one of the best stores I’ve ever been in. The manager is knowledgeable about anything in the store. What I liked is when you walk into this store they come say hi and say if you need help let them know and then they leave you alone to walk around. The sales clerk’s Justin Jason and Austin are great and a big help to me. I’m very happy with my Ashley furniture now and in the past.

I canceled my order 3 weeks due to false delivery date. Spoke with Mario he stated it was canceled and that he personally canceled my order but never did.

Horrible horrible horrible time dealing with the shipping. We ordered table and bed. We have had issues with them not bringing the full set with them. Reschedule after reschedule. “Trucks breaking down” etc. I did not receive my bed until 930 at night.

Misleading details on pick up date..They told one fib after another..Was told I could pick items up the following week,not!!! It's tow months later and still haven't got my furniture! Don't trust them they lie to you in your face!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. The sales associates and the managers at this store are dishonest and will straight up lie to your face. My wife and I bought a tempurpedic bed from this store and the sales associate and the store manager went on and on about how there would be no issues with returning the bed within 90 days if it didn't do well on my back. They even had a flyer that they handed me that said the same thing. To make things worse, the salesman that showed us the bed claimed to be a veteran and was very unprofessional. He couldn't even speak for a full sentence without swearing. The manager that was there was respectful, but he should teach his sales people to be more professional. They told me to make sure that I gave it a fair shot, so I did. After 60 days or so, I could tell it wasn't helping my back. I went to my doctor and they suggested that I try out a different bed. When I went back to the store to start the return, they told me I couldn't return the bed and that they don't accept any returns of beds at their store. This is not what was assured to me and my wife. After a few attempts at talking to the store manager and the company, the store offered to exchange the bed for a bed of equal or less value, but they would still charge us the same as the original bed's cost. But there were no other beds in the store that my doctor recommended nor were there any beds that were around the same price point. I didn't think it was right to charge someone $10k dollars for a bed that was half the price either. So now we are stuck with a bed that is not what I needed or wanted after sleeping on it. After all this, we contacted the Better Business Bureau. They were no help. We then contacted the Attorney General's Office of Consumer Affairs and they said they would look into it, but they never got us any results. If you can go to any other store go. Don't give these people your business.

Absolutely nothing else, but great service! We had the greatest service from Austin; he took his time to show us (and demonstrated) the sleeper sofa. I believe the delivery charges were a little high, but the store was able to price match the online price so it came about the same price at the end. I am glad we visited the store.

Shopped for new LR furniture. It was pleasant enough, just felt a little pressured into buying other things I wasn’t there for, but a firm “ no thank you” ended that.

After going to several stores I found what I liked and wanted at Ashley Furniture store in Madison. Justin was very helpful and patient helping me pick out my bedroom set! Pam was very helpful at Haverty’s. They were just a little bit out of my budget. No one at Price Point Furniture asked if I needed any help.😋 Jill was very helpful helping me pick out a nice mattress and adjustable base at Macy’s in Green Hills. Never ever assume we’re not buying anything.😉

Worst furniture experience ever. They are completely incompetent. Managers can not even order the correct furniture. I have refused a delivery 3 times now, over the past month do to wrong orders. They also have the worst customer service in the business. Plus they use a 3rd party for deliveries. Would never recommend!!!

Went to Ashley because I was looking for a bed I had seen online at Ashley's website. Demario helped me and said we just sold ours off the showroom floor but he would check availability at warehouse. Told me they had them and I could pick up anytime as I was running out of time today. Delivery was offered but it will be going to a nursing home and I wasn't sure of delivery being possible there. Demario was very helpful and down to earth type of person. Thanks Demario.

Ordered a living room set and bedroom set. Living room was supposed to be delivered on a Wednesday yet there was no contact and delivery never happened. Neither the warehouse nor the store can guarantee when this will be delivered. It’s poor customer service all the way around. Now I have to choose an inconvenient time for me to receive my furniture. The manager tried to assist with getting it here but it is a real disappointment on the part of their warehouse and call center or scheduling department

Purchased on 7/15/23 a leather power sofa, with adj. headrest, lumbar & massage. Our sales representative Aileen De Leon was fabulous! Not pushy, patient, sweet and professional. Our sofa was delivered today 8/1/23; professional 2/guy team bringing up 15 steps into media room. Very professional and no one scratch on a wall or floor. Delivery was to take place between 9:15 am to 12:15 noon ( arrived at 9:30 am ; which meant rest of day was open for us who other activities! We purchased from Ashley Home Store in Rivergate; a much better experience than the competitor! Will shop Ashley again!!! C and J Brown

It's a very good quality furniture store with a long history. Not all the prices are as good as some would expect but they have very good prices on most products. If some cost a little more it's because of the great quality. Staff at this store are friendly and always helpful.

Corporate, Store, Associate, and product quality review: When we ordered our dresser, their “systems” were down. I was reluctant to pay and order our purchase when their computers were down. We went ahead and ordered it, due mostly because of the service from Austin , and a discount from the manager. Their systems were down at least a month- this the review of Corporate. How does a nationwide chain allow the company to continue operations with their systems down for so long? Where is the IT department? Add to ghat I had no receipt in hand. It did take a long time for our order to be ready for delivery. During this long period I attempted to call their Delivery service phone number- that system was not operating either, and you could mot get through to a person and the messaging system did not work either. The Store: they were very apologetic and worked hard to assure us of our order (that it will get in the system soon). The Associate: Austin was awesome. Not only did he work to get us the best price but, given that systems were down, he showed professionalism in following ip with me promptly and periodically. This gave me some assurance that I will receive my purchase. The Product: We live the dresser. It is pretty solidly built and looks amazing. Now, here is a comparison: Two weeks prior to going to Ashley’s. We ordered a sofa from La-Z-Boy. We were told it woild take 6-8 weeks, maybe longer, and no refunds. At 6 weeks I called the sale lady (she never followed up) yo ask the status. She took offense that I would trouble her with a call. She literally said “If I worked 24 hours a day, then Maybe I could call my customers.”
