If I could give then a ZERO I would. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I made a purchase in the Madison location setting a delivery date for June 18th. Before exiting the store, I even requested that the salesmen (assistance mgr.) confirm my order. I get the notification for my order on the 18th and I am stop #13 with arrival expected at 3:15p. Drivers arrive at 5:30p, start unloading and the problems begin. I have no idea whose order this is but it is not mine. This bedroom suite is not the correct style nor color. I refuse the delivery and the saga deepens: 1) I call the store - automated line keeps circling and never reaches a person 2) The drivers call it in and label faulty delivery. The series of questions then begin like I forgot what I ordered (thankfully I took a picture before leaving the store on the original date of the order) 3) I have to drive to the store to check my own order show them what I ordered, confirm my own order was placed correctly, but the wrong items were delivered. I am told by the original sales person someone will call me to tell me next steps. 4) On the 19th I get a text msg indicating that the system needs to update in 24 hrs to begin to reschedule.(upgrade your system for a minimum 15 min alerts - its 2024 ) I ask if the clock started yesterday because the problem occurred 16 hours ago. I get a response that I'm schedule now for the 25th. Well, when in the hell did I inform you I was available on the 25th. How do you schedule to be at a customer house without asking them for availability is beyond me. I informed I travel for work and rearranged my calendar to be in town for the 18th and at home this week. The response was basically "oh well" our system routes...blah blah blah. So, basically this store/warehouse problem is now my problem to solve. Forcing me to have to either not go on my work trip or ask someone else to take off work to fix Ashley's problem. ASHLEY let me help you do your job because apparently you do not have the ability to raise to the expectation of me as a customer: 1) You are choosing to not deliver my furniture this week because it will inconvenience your delivery schedule. This is not a customer issue this is an Ashley issue. You have the ability to complete a "milk run" which is a delivery smaller in nature and although not cost effective can and should be instituted in instances for which you are at fault and the customer is unavailable to reschedule. 2) You should also be discounting the purchase or refunding the delivery fees as a courtesy for my inconvenience. 3) You should implement a quality control feature to your dispatch process prior to deliveries leaving the warehouse to prevent such occurrences. I ordered a gray/black furniture set and was delivered a brown set - simple quality check could have prevented this. 4) Stop worrying about whose fault it is with the customer. That is an internal issue and not something that should involve your customer. Your responsibility to your customer is to make it right not involve them in your investigation to see if the customer is at fault or if you are. Lastly, FIX IT! The consumer and supplier bond is rapidly degrading to the point the only sources for good service are online. Without customer service - in person customer service - you will continue to see the degradation of your retail value.

Jeremy and the whole team were awesome. It was a stress-free buying experience from start to finish. I can't wait to get my new furniture!

Patient salesman allowed us to try out multiple options over two separate visits before we made a purchase. He really knew the products well, too. I will return!

The people here are great. I am a leave me alone and let me look then I will come find you if needed type. They are a no pressure store. What really grabbed my attention was watching another employee who wasn't working the desk come get the customer to help them that was waiting in line also. That's great customer service. Yeah their prices are up there on some items but I just came from lazy boy who was outrageous with their prices.

Would not recommend Ashley’s AT ALL. I ordered my couch on 5/29 and has been giving me problems EVER SINCE. NO ONE HAS HELPED ME and I’ve been rescheduled 4 times for a delivery. I’ve taken off work 3 times and still no couch. I’ve expressed my complaints and no one seems to care. I asked to get a percentage off my couch and no one seems to know anything. I’ve talked with 6 people with the only one being a little knowledgeable was Austin. I do Not recommend getting furniture from here anymore. I was a long time customer but now I’d rather buy somewhere else. Please go somewhere that care about their customers. Will not be returning.

I paid $230 for a warranty. I was told if I did not use the warranty I would get my $230 back when I purchased another item. Thus, I found an item on line and went to the store to order. I was told by the salesman that I could not use the $230 for items on line. I found an item in store. I was told by the salesman that I could not use the $230 because the item was on sale. I found anther item in store not on sale. I was told that it did not cost enough for me to get the $230 back. DO NOT BUY THEIR WARRANTY!

We had an AMAZING experience in the store. However, when it came to delivery of our new furniture, everything was awful! The delivery driver said he couldn't come up our driveway and that I had to come down with a truck to help him. I don't have a truck, so I called my husband to come help. He drove home from work and when he pulled in, the delivery driver pulled out and said "ehh not my problem! It's your problem! Call the warehouse!" We called the driver, he laughed and said the same thing again. Then, we called the Ashley customer service number and were told there was nothing they could do. 0/10 will never buy from them again, just because of the delivery experience.

Easy ordering in store...1 item...but didn't get delivery address correct!!! Shouldn't be that complicated!

My husband and I just purchased a home in Gallatin, TN. We stopped by this Ashley location and met Scott Dickens. We had a situation that required the furniture we purchased get delivered within 48 hours. Due to our schedule Scott was able to work with an independent delivery company to get all the items delivered the same day. We ordered the products around 3pm. We had them delivered by 6pm at our home. Scott went above and beyond to help our situation. We will definitely order from him again and highly recommend working with Scott. Plus, he is a huge animal lover!

Austin was great! He was very patient and kind while I had to spend a bunch of time on the phone with my bank since I don't normally spend that much money.

Don't bother looking for bedroom furniture here. The sales people we dealt with were great, the problem lies with sales training and stock. Our sales person said our bedroom set would be delivered by Friday, however Wednesday morning I received a phone call that our delivery date was on Thursday the following week. Needless to say, I called Ashley Furniture customer care which was in another country and cancelled my order. It seems like a large chain like Ashley Furniture could have the items they sell in stock in nearby warehouses, but that is not the case. It seems like everything they sell is still on a slow boat from China! 0 Stars for Ashley Furniture purchasing and inventory control!

Jeremy at Ashley in Madison, TN did a great job demonstrating all of the various type beds in the Tempur-Pedic brand that we were looking for. He was very knowledgeable and not pushy. He was also very helpful in the transaction that was tricky as we live in another state. We have used this store for another family member who lives in TN and will gladly recommend it! Will buy from again!

We had a delivery scheduled for 03/21/2024. We called the day before just to confirm delivery, we were then told it would be 2 more weeks because on the 15th they had to reorder our furniture, that it might have been damage but could not give us a good reason why it was delayed. Will never buy from them again!!!

I had a beginning of spring shopping day! My sales rep was very friendly, courteous, and outgoing. I purchased a Bladen hide a bed sofa and loveseat, and a recliner to match. They were comfortable and sturdy pieces of furniture and I think I will be very happy with them. I really liked the atmosphere in the store, and my sales rep.

Dreadful experience with Ashley Store in Ashley Customer Service! They chased me like hawks in store, I placed an order on February 19th, they charged me in full immediately with no delivery date in sight. One month later, I reached out to check on the item, nobody answers the call or returns back the voice mails. I eventually talked to someone in Customer Service who told me my order was cancelled because the item was discontinued. And nobody called me to refund me or let me know!!! I went to the store, a representative told me she couldn't cancel my order and refund me and wished me a nice day. I had called numerous times to get someone in Customer Service, and when I finally did, a request for a cancelation and refund was placed. But nothing is guaranteed. As of now, Ashley is holding $1,304 of my money, and I have no product. Useless to say, I spent half day calling all Ashley stores and outlets, they want me to go from Nashville to Chattanooga to pick it up myself from a store where they have it. I will NEVER buy from Ashley Furniture again, neither will I recommend it. For what their products costs, you would expect some degree of professionalism and care. Zero of each, not to speak about fairness.

Demario and Austin were wonderful to work with! It took about 15 minutes to get what I wanted and they were very friendly. Definitely will be back!

Buyers be aware!!!!! This store does not back their products. We bought a couch and loveseat that requires a power cord to recline. When delivery showed up they didn't have the power cord. Called the store to make them aware I was told once you purchase the merchandise it's out of their hands call the warehouse. We paid a lot for this suite and only the loveseat reclines. Called the warehouse 1st time they shipped us the mechanics not a cord. Called the 2nd time Feb 5th still haven't received it. Called back yesterday and was told they are on backorder. What a joke. I am almost at a point of "Come get your junk and refund me " Done!!! Just want future customers to know the PROCESS!!

Kitchen table delivery. Missing pieces they could not put it together. Left it here, I’m supposed to get a call 24-48hrs regarding missing pieces. Not happy at all. UPDATE: the absolute worst customer service I’ve dealt with. Zero follow up. Someone will text me “how can I help” I explain situation. Ghosted. Get an email, I respond back. Get nothing in return. Called customer service 2 days after they left the table. She said no service ticket was ever opened. Still waiting, it’s been 6 days. Listen to the other reviews. If you’re lucky and get your items with no issue good for you. If there’s a problem, good luck.

100% hands down the worst experience ive had ordering anything. I ordered a bed almost three months ago and despite given a two week estimate at time of purchase, never received my order. I called no less than 14 times over that time period and got a run around and guarantee of delivery "two weeks" away each time. They even scheduled a delivery with me at one point, so I stayed home and used a vacation day only to find out after calling (again) the next day, that they cancelled my delivery due to a stock issue. They tried to offer me a gift card TODAY when I cancelled which was honestly just insulting after the amount of unhelpfulness and non-answers I received each call previously. I can guarantee I wont let anyone I know buy from this company in the future - and I would save the headache if I were a prospective customer.

Very pleased with the service we received. Was greeted by Austin and he is such a fine young man. Answered any questions we had. We were looking for a dining room table and chairs he showed us exactly what we were looking for and thankfully we made the purchase and are very happy with it Will definitely be back to look at furniture. I’ve had this same team deliver other furniture and fully appreciate their great help in working with me. My bed needed to go on the second floor up 16 steps. They got the box up there, set up and then cleaned everything up.

This Ashley furniture store is one of the best stores I’ve ever been in. The manager is knowledgeable about anything in the store. What I liked is when you walk into this store they come say hi and say if you need help let them know and then they leave you alone to walk around. The sales clerk’s Justin Jason and Austin are great and a big help to me. I’m very happy with my Ashley furniture now and in the past.

I canceled my order 3 weeks due to false delivery date. Spoke with Mario he stated it was canceled and that he personally canceled my order but never did.

Horrible horrible horrible time dealing with the shipping. We ordered table and bed. We have had issues with them not bringing the full set with them. Reschedule after reschedule. “Trucks breaking down” etc. I did not receive my bed until 930 at night.

Misleading details on pick up date..They told one fib after another..Was told I could pick items up the following week,not!!! It's tow months later and still haven't got my furniture! Don't trust them they lie to you in your face!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. The sales associates and the managers at this store are dishonest and will straight up lie to your face. My wife and I bought a tempurpedic bed from this store and the sales associate and the store manager went on and on about how there would be no issues with returning the bed within 90 days if it didn't do well on my back. They even had a flyer that they handed me that said the same thing. To make things worse, the salesman that showed us the bed claimed to be a veteran and was very unprofessional. He couldn't even speak for a full sentence without swearing. The manager that was there was respectful, but he should teach his sales people to be more professional. They told me to make sure that I gave it a fair shot, so I did. After 60 days or so, I could tell it wasn't helping my back. I went to my doctor and they suggested that I try out a different bed. When I went back to the store to start the return, they told me I couldn't return the bed and that they don't accept any returns of beds at their store. This is not what was assured to me and my wife. After a few attempts at talking to the store manager and the company, the store offered to exchange the bed for a bed of equal or less value, but they would still charge us the same as the original bed's cost. But there were no other beds in the store that my doctor recommended nor were there any beds that were around the same price point. I didn't think it was right to charge someone $10k dollars for a bed that was half the price either. So now we are stuck with a bed that is not what I needed or wanted after sleeping on it. After all this, we contacted the Better Business Bureau. They were no help. We then contacted the Attorney General's Office of Consumer Affairs and they said they would look into it, but they never got us any results. If you can go to any other store go. Don't give these people your business.

Absolutely nothing else, but great service! We had the greatest service from Austin; he took his time to show us (and demonstrated) the sleeper sofa. I believe the delivery charges were a little high, but the store was able to price match the online price so it came about the same price at the end. I am glad we visited the store.

Shopped for new LR furniture. It was pleasant enough, just felt a little pressured into buying other things I wasn’t there for, but a firm “ no thank you” ended that.

Until the day we die, Jeremy is the only person we will buy furniture from. He never pressured us or tried to make a sale. He made the whole process buying our couch so fun. Ashley Furniture, we love you.

After going to several stores I found what I liked and wanted at Ashley Furniture store in Madison. Justin was very helpful and patient helping me pick out my bedroom set! Pam was very helpful at Haverty’s. They were just a little bit out of my budget. No one at Price Point Furniture asked if I needed any help.😋 Jill was very helpful helping me pick out a nice mattress and adjustable base at Macy’s in Green Hills. Worst furniture experience ever. They are completely incompetent. Managers can not even order the correct furniture. I have refused a delivery 3 times now, over the past month do to wrong orders. They also have the worst customer service in the business. Plus they use a 3rd party for deliveries. Would never recommend!!!

Went to Ashley because I was looking for a bed I had seen online at Ashley's website. Demario helped me and said we just sold ours off the showroom floor but he would check availability at warehouse. Told me they had them and I could pick up anytime as I was running out of time today. Delivery was offered but it will be going to a nursing home and I wasn't sure of delivery being possible there. Demario was very helpful and down to earth type of person. Thanks Demario.

Ordered a living room set and bedroom set. Living room was supposed to be delivered on a Wednesday yet there was no contact and delivery never happened. Neither the warehouse nor the store can guarantee when this will be delivered. It’s poor customer service all the way around. Now I have to choose an inconvenient time for me to receive my furniture. The manager tried to assist with getting it here but it is a real disappointment on the part of their warehouse and call center or scheduling department

Purchased on 7/15/23 a leather power sofa, with adj. headrest, lumbar & massage. Our sales representative Aileen De Leon was fabulous! Not pushy, patient, sweet and professional. Our sofa was delivered today 8/1/23; professional 2/guy team bringing up 15 steps into media room. Very professional and no one scratch on a wall or floor. Delivery was to take place between 9:15 am to 12:15 noon ( arrived at 9:30 am ; which meant rest of day was open for us who other activities! We purchased from Ashley Home Store in Rivergate; a much better experience than the competitor! Will shop Ashley again!!! C and J Brown

It's a very good quality furniture store with a long history. Not all the prices are as good as some would expect but they have very good prices on most products. If some cost a little more it's because of the great quality. Staff at this store are friendly and always helpful.

Corporate, Store, Associate, and product quality review: When we ordered our dresser, their “systems” were down. I was reluctant to pay and order our purchase when their computers were down. We went ahead and ordered it, due mostly because of the service from Austin , and a discount from the manager. Their systems were down at least a month- this the review of Corporate. How does a nationwide chain allow the company to continue operations with their systems down for so long? Where is the IT department? Add to ghat I had no receipt in hand. It did take a long time for our order to be ready for delivery. During this long period I attempted to call their Delivery service phone number- that system was not operating either, and you could mot get through to a person and the messaging system did not work either. The Store: they were very apologetic and worked hard to assure us of our order (that it will get in the system soon). The Associate: Austin was awesome. Not only did he work to get us the best price but, given that systems were down, he showed professionalism in following ip with me promptly and periodically. This gave me some assurance that I will receive my purchase. The Product: We live the dresser. It is pretty solidly built and looks amazing. Now, here is a comparison: Two weeks prior to going to Ashley’s. We ordered a sofa from La-Z-Boy. We were told it woild take 6-8 weeks, maybe longer, and no refunds. At 6 weeks I called the sale lady (she never followed up) yo ask the status. She took offense that I would trouble her with a call. She literally said “If I worked 24 hours a day, then Maybe I could call my customers.”

I was heading to Mattress Firm, but I decided to stop in Ashley because I really needed a sofa too... eventually. My plan was just to look at the sectionals and then leave and go to Mattress Firm. I had a salesman named Scott Dickens. He was so knowledgeable, number one, but it was is caring, down to earth, and honest personality that sold me. I bought a sectional the ottoman, a bed frame that rasies and lowers and a mattress. Ashley, you owe this whole sale to Scott. I just felt he was a genuine person and he wasn't pushy. You probably have a customer for life as long as you have Scott, or hire genuine, "real," people like him, who are kind and not pushy. You'll see me again. UPDATE TO THE UPDATE: I will save the WHOLE story because it is exhausting... we did get our refund. Will we buy from there or any item that is made by Ashley ever again -- NOPE! UPDATE: Contacted the "person" below... was NOT helpful and had NO interest in helping our situation. The Madison store has promised a refund.... although we have not received information the request for refund has been processed.... just to note: getting your money back for a product never received takes just as long as not getting the product itself. What do you call it when you pay for a product and you never receive the product or not guarantee you will ever receive the product or your money back? Several years ago I had a horrible experience with getting my furniture from Ashley... and here I am again, experiencing the same thing. We picked out our perfect sofa with Jeremy (who was great)... we PAID for sofa on 2/20. Today is 4/26 and still NO SOFA. Note: throughout the weeks, we did receive text that our order was ready for delivery. One phone call to the "customer service center" is it's ready, delivery scheduled for 4/25, then no delivery. Another phone call to MR. RUDE customer service center says "on back order"... we asked to speak to someone at the Madison location... "you cannot speak to the store, you can only speak to me"... we go to the store, "yes, you are scheduled for delivery on 4/25"... we say, "finally, great!" Note: MR RUDE could not find our order by name, phone number or order number... it was as though we did not exist. So your thought goes immediately to "Ashley has my money and I do not exist!" Yes, we have receipt. On 4/24, MR. RUDE calls, you are not getting delivery your item is on back order and you changed your delivery date to 5/2. Go to store, "oh we are sorry, you were scheduled for 4/25... we will request to refund your delivery fee"... MR. RUDE calls again, you are set for May 2nd, not for April 25th. We are 100% sure that MR. RUDE purposely changed our delivery date in retaliation (Madison location confirmed our delivery date was set for 4/25) for our continued disgust with him. Our confidence that we will get our sofa is completely NIL... asking for a full refund. For those who have had a great experience you are very, very lucky!

He even went into the science of sleep and how Temper Pedic would improve my quality of sleep based on my current issues. He went into great detail on the pros and even potential cons. The best part is I felt he was fully transparent on even the not so fun parts (financing, return policies, etc). I will absolutely be back to purchase more furniture with Dave when I’m ready!

My wife and I had a great experience. We were given the space to look around and discuss what we wanted and when we asked questions the sales person was helpful and informative. I will return for all my furniture needs in the future.

The salesperson, Scott Dickens was very professional, friendly and eager to assist. He scheduled a delivery date, gave me his cell number and stated if I had any problems to call him. Update—-Unfortunately, when the delivery dept. called they gave me a different date and stated the date Scott Dickens was not available. I called Scott…no answer and left voice messages and texts several times over 5 days and he never responded. I had problems with Ashley in the past and informed Scott about this when he was making selling me the furniture. He promised me things were better at Ashley and that he put his customers first and I would not have a problem, and if so he would take care of it. He was helpful during the selling process, but afterwards he was no assistance. He NEVER responded to me. So disappointing to buy from this company twice and experience bad customer service twice.

It is hard to give a review. I purchased a $5,000.00 couch, and I have been getting nothing but the run around for almost 3 months. First, they deliver a defective couch. Then they have someone come look at our wobbly and damaged couch, and he says there is nothing they can do about it. Then a service tech comes out and come to find out the parts they delivered over a month ago that have been sitting at our apartment and come to find out they only order one part for our couch and one part belongs to another customer. This is beyond crazy. Never purchase from this store. It’s a waste of your money and time. Horrible service, and I need a new couch or a refund. I’m not paying for defective and damaged merchandise. That is street robbery. I only put 1 star, because google does not allow me to put 0 stars.oh and btw that 206 phone number does not work. Lol

Absolutely the worst experience ever. My order is still not correct and we are on the 4th ticket to try to get it resolved. I will not buy anything else nor recommend Ashley Furniture to anyone. Customer service is awful and when we asked for the manager or higher up number, we was given the wrong number multiple times. We ordered our stuff before thanksgiving. The last item we received (last week) was delivered but noticed it was wrong. We called the driver to let him know and was told “oh well. It’s in your house so keep it.”

Make sure before purchasing that you know your item will work in your space. All sales are final.Something you aren’t aware of until you look at the final page of the 5 pages they have you sign, but don’t have time to read. Wouldn’t even let me exchange the item for something else. Also paid extra for them to deliver and set up the item. Had to fight with the delivery service to set it up. Not to mention the mess the left behind. Do not recommend and will never purchase from them again.

Amazing! I have been a customer for years but the guys at rivergate/Madison son have been so good to me.

The sales people we dealt with were very nice and our furniture was delivered on time. But, that's where it ends. We had it delivered to our new home. We were between homes for about a week. Once we were moved in and began to use our furniture, we discovered that the sofa was significantly damaged. The frame on the sleeper portion was cracked in an out of sight spot and was not discovered until we attempted to extend the bed. Also, the arms were not correctly installed, the USB power was not connected, there is black stain on the sleeper, the shipping straps that hold the sleeper in place were not removed, and two of the feet are missing. We've called Ashley every week for 4 weeks now and were promised that the technicians would contact us within 2-3 days. We have received no return calls, no emails, and no effort by customer service to follow up. This is the third time we have purchased from Ashley and it will be our last. If you have a problem with anything related to Ashley, you, the customer will have to do ALL of the work. There is zero after sale customer service. No one at the store will talk to you. We are still attempting to have our broken furniture repaired or replaced. At this point I advise that you DO NOT GIVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY TO ASHLEY in-person or online at ANY STORE ANYWHERE. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST TREATMENT I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED AS A CUSTOMER.

Website showed the price lower by almost $3,000. They would only match to $1,900 difference. Then delivery cost in store was $350 more than online website showed delivery cost to be. Nice furniture but pricing discrepancies and unable to explain why are deceiving.

I’m sorry to say this but, I will not be buying furniture again from Ashleys. My furniture was delivered short and damaged. The delivery person said they would tell Ashley the condition of the furniture and that we were missing furniture. When I called Ashley to find out how they would resolved my problem the said that my ticket was closed and completed. It has been two weeks and no one has called me to say how they would resolved my problem. I have probably purchased about 40k in furniture in the past few years. I’m sorry to say but they have lost a good customer. By the way I’m working on getting furniture for two more rooms and a second living room. Can anyone recommend a good furniture store?

Horrible!! We have waited so long for the bedroom suite. Then when it was finally time for delivery you called to tell us the mattress was not in and it would be another 2 weeks out. Then after the delivery team set everything up we see a very big crack down the side of the headboard. No one has called to make things right. I have called and left several messages.. NOTHING. Calling and writing the corporate office..

Just came in to shop and we had a great experience. The manager Damario was the most pleasant to interact with, he is the one who helped us out with our questions and offered some things for us to look at. We didn’t end up buying but his service was exceptional!

Upon entering the store, I walked up to a group of Ashley employees to ask where I can pay for a part I ordered over the phone. After one employee too a drag from his vape and exhaled (not-so-subtly) behind the wall, he abruptly waved me off and pointed to the other side of the store saying someone else would help me over there. 0/10 recommend.

Staff has no idea what they're doing. Managers not helpful and DO NOT buy here... but if you do... DO NOT buy the protection plan... as you guessed its a complete scam, and they will make it VERY difficult for you to use the "Credit" when it expires.

I called to verify if they had a rug in stock and without asking for the name of the rug I was told to order online because they probably don't have it. Customer service isn't their specialty.

Worst experience in my life. Received damaged loveseat. They have refused to replace and wanted to repair. 3 months later, still no loveseat. Filed with my lawyer and credit card. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE.

Worst customer Service Ever! Months of waiting and ended up having to cancel the order.

I bought a couch here a few months ago, and the service ever since has been terrible. They sold me a warranty, and told me that it covered everything under the sun, and it didn't even cover simple pilling on the cushion covers. When I asked Jason, who sold me the couch, for help, he was no help at all and just directed me to their general customer service line and said he could not help. The couch that I purchased just a few months ago is now completely discontinued, and the warranty is no good. I've been reaching out to Jason for help getting the warranty refunded for weeks and he will not reply to anything. Honestly writing this to get their attention since I'm not sure what else will, and I'm upset that this couch that I spent money on is no longer able to be serviced because it's totally discontinued with no parts left.

I can't even begin to tell you how many times and how many different ways this store has screwed me over for the last several months. If I tried writing out my experiences with this store, it would be a full novel. Worst customer service I've ever experienced, and honestly, worse than I could have even imagined. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE!

This should be 0 rating! The store is beyond awful. I was followed the entire time after repeatedly asking the saleman to stop. I asked him if he had to follow me, he responded yes it was the policy. I left the store immediately. Terrible customer service and sales team!

We purchased a couch and after 3 failed attempts to deliver a couch that wasn't damaged we gave up. They couldn't give us a delivery time frame for delivery of the 4th couch so we switched the purchase to a dining table that was "in stock". They now tell us that it is not in stock and can't give us a delivery date and won't return our calls or give us our money back. We have been at this for 9+ months. DON NOT EVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM ASHLEY! I have made 20+ calls to the store and corporate and they will not help at all. It's now Jan 2023 and we still don't have our furniture. We couldn't get a couch so we switched to a dining table that was in stock. It was to be delivered in a week. After a month and a half of calling they finally delivered a damaged table that was missing parts. Now thay can't tell us if or when we will get a table and won't give us our money back. THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY THAT I HAVE EVER DELT WITH!!!!!

Working with Cameron was a breeze, but that’s as far as our good experience went. Faith straight up lied to us on delivery date and promised to call and update if it wasn’t going to arrive by 11/5. Never heard from ANYONE. Called customer service on 11/4 and was told 2-3 weeks out for full order. Partial delivery scheduled for 11/9. Delivery canceled 2 mins before their arrival time and the tracker showed them about a mile from our house. Customer service now telling us we have to reschedule delivery for next available date NEXT WEEK. We spent 2 hours today moving furniture around to prep and now no one will answer at the store so we can get some answers! About to cancel entire 15k order unless they do something DRASTIC to fix it. Reporting to BBB as well. DON’T SHOP HERE!!

Came to the store looking for a bedroom set. Got everything I wanted and more. Really great customer service. They broke down everything to make it easy to explain making it hassle free. Plus got a really great deal. Definitely coming back for more furniture and would definitely recommend others.

I bought a dining table and was told it’s in stock and to be delivered on the date I chose. Fast forward a month later, JUST got told it’s on back border for another month at least. It’s impossible to reach anyone here. Terrible customer service.

Took two months to deliver couches that I was told were in the warehouse and ready to be delivered three separate times. It'll come August 13th. Didn't. It'll come September 11th. It didn't. You can schedule for the end of September. I couldn't, it was delayed further. Finally got it today. Good furniture but if you want it anytime soon rent a Home Depot or Menards truck and buy your stuff somewhere you can drive it home that day.

I walked in during the last hour of business and the sales person listened carefully and helped me find exactly what I wanted with respect and genuine, honest customer service. I TOTALLY recommend this business.

Making a purchase at Ashley Furniture Home-store was the biggest mistake I’ve made. I experienced the WORST services ever with the goodlettsville store, customer care call center, the CORPORATE office, and the Escalades call center, speaking with them all I received RUDE UN-ACCEPTABLE POOR CUSTOMER SERVICES. They all didn’t assist my needs and concerns about my order purchase. On 10/6/22 Ashley delivery team delivered damaged cracked and chipped furniture into my home.The delivery team damaged my flooring by kicking tossing and dragging my furniture around my home my floor have dents holes and scratches all due to the delivery team not properly doing their job. I reached out within the time frame about this matter and couldn’t get no assistance. The delivery team work performance is HORRIBLE and they need to be held accountable for their unprofessional and lazy work ethics. I’ve been going through so much with trying to actually get some help about this poor experience purchasing from Ashley. I’ve never experienced anything like what I’m dealing with here at Ashley Home-store. Ashley Home-store don’t appreciate and value the customers. Customers are “ALWAYS RIGHT” if it wasn’t for the paying customers Ashley furniture Home-store wouldn’t be in business “WE” the customers give you all business and that’s why the store associates work daily because of paying customers NO customers no business. Ashley furniture should treat their customers a lot more better. It’s not fair that I spent my hard earned money on furniture and it arrived damaged and there’s no accommodations being made in exchange. My flooring is damaged and nothing also is being done.Ashley furniture Home-store is a RIP-OFF they take your money and deliver you damaged defective furniture.

I have been dealing with this particular ashley furniture store since March of 2022. First it took three months to receive our sofa. The sofa was delivered damaged and we were told a new sofa would be sent out. 2 months later the same exact issue. Yet another sofa was re-delivered, same issue, damaged. I went to the showroom and asked if I could order a dining table with a buffet table in exchange. Sales manager said no problem the table would take about 2 months to be delivered (that was early August) its now Octber 9th. No table and no idea when it will be delivered. I will never do business with Ashley Furniture again!!!

Over the many years, I don't know why, but we've never found anything in any Ashley store to meet our furniture needs. It's not the prices. Today we looked regardless of price... just didn't see anything we liked to discuss further. The showrooms are nicely arranged and it's not unusual furniture... it's just not what we're looking for at the moment.

Update: I reached out via email to Ashley customer service after seeing the cookie cutter reply to my review. Someone named Donna Howard replied one time to assure me that my issues would be resolved and to say that going forward she would be my point of contact. I’ve emailed her twice more over the last 5 or 6 days and haven’t gotten a reply yet. I finally called the store again in hopes of getting my issues resolved. ASHLEY HOMESTORE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A JOKE. Original review: My furniture was supposed to be delivered 2 weeks ago but was delayed due to some pieces not coming in. Delivery was rescheduled for yesterday. That was no problem as I’m fully aware of shipping delays. The problem is that they showed up yesterday and still didn’t have everything. They didn’t bring the bed rails so couldn’t assemble the bed. The delivery guys were rude and just stared at me when I asked questions. I finally got one of them to give me the customer service number to call. I called CS and she said that the rails were in the warehouse and that she was requesting a team to bring them to my house yesterday and assemble my bed so I would have a bed to sleep on. That was At 10:00 AM. I didn’t hear anything back so I called at 2:45 PM to see what the status was. I’ve was told that none of the managers were answering their phones or emails. What kind of company are they running???? I was promised a return call in 15 mins after they had time to research and try to get someone to answer the phone and emails at the distribution center. After an hour I finally called the Madison store and spoke with Ms Ross. She was friendly and understanding and said that she would research and call me back asap. I finally called her back after getting crickets and was told that she couldn’t get a response from anyone at distribution either. Again, what kind of company is this???? I called CS again this morning and was told that it’ll be at least 2 weeks before they bring the rails. I requested for them to come pick up the headboard and footboard because they are big and blocking my closet door. They said that they can’t do that. Next I called the Madison store and asked to speak to the store manager Jason Gross. He REFUSED to come to the phone. REFUSED!!! I could hear him in the background telling the lady that answered that he couldn’t help me. I’ma business owner and would fire any manager that works for me that pulled a stunt like that. I’m a patient person and realize that things happen but it’s the attitude and lack of concern by the delivery guys and store manager that’s causing me to leave this one star review. The lack of professionalism and follow through by Ashley Furniture will keep me from doing any future business with them as well as cause me to warn others to stay away also. I was warned by someone about Ashley Furniture but didn’t listen. Lesson learned.

Finally received our stools. It was pre assembled, not new in the box like our other stool we bought at the Ashley store in Clarksville. It had stains on the fabric too. Instead of dealing with an exchange, I just bought some fabric cleaner and removed the stains. I’m pretty sure I received a used item or store room model. I ordered the Valebeck counter height table and stools in July. They delivered the table without any issues but I’m still waiting for them to send the correct height stools. They keep sending tall bar height stools instead of counter height. Original order was placed on July 20th. The third delivery attempt should occur some time in October.

This is the worst experience I ever have. I ordered a sofa from Ashley Antioch and their service is great. They said that I need to wait for couple of weeks to get it delivered but I would like to wait cause I really love the sofa. Soon Ashley Madison texted me for delivery date. I felt so excite about that. When the delivery man came and I opened the door, I tried to explain to him why I’m wearing a mask. I said, I have some Covid symptom but it turned out to be allergy, I got tested and I was negative. And he just ran away without saying anything, I tried to call the store, someone answered and she said that she will let the delivery man come back. I waited for 4 hours and no one came back and no one answered phone. I finally called in and someone said that the delivery man felt uncomfortable for that delivery so he wouldn’t come back. That’s understandable. What is not understandable is that why it is so difficult to give me an update so that I have an idea of what is going on so that I don’t have to just sit there and wait. Without asking my availability in advance, they scheduled another delivery two days later. I again stayed at home the whole day and nobody ever showed up. I had so many things to do other than this, but I have to stay at home, and it didn’t get delivered, and nobody ever tried to explain to me what was going on. After that my friend and I went to the store and a lady helped us. She said someone will call us later that day, but no one called me. I waited for another one day, another two days, and another three days, still no one ever tried to reach out to me. I hate to leave negative comment but they just gave me so many negative feelings. I feel so frustrated, being ignored, and helpless.

Faith was an excellent representative, she listened to my needs and assisted me in making the best decision for my mattress purchase. All the reps I had contact with in the store were pleasant and helpful. I appreciate the experience.

The sales person was very personable and made me feel very comfortable as a customer and made very helpful suggestions that actually saved me money.

Ashley made my soul die a little. After the initial process of picking out the furniture, which was lovely, every other step in the process was hellish. I have probably spent 42 hours on hold with these people. Every time there's an issue, I have to call three times before it gets sorted out. It took two months to get the furniture which wasn't even close to being the worst part of this process. I hate Ashely and I will now hate every person I meet named Ashley just by name assocation, so thanks for that and sorry to all the future Ashley's I may meet.

The first impression was the furniture was lovely, and not crowded. . Jeremy met us and ask what we were looking for in particular. He took us to the section. And gave us the opportunity to see the availability choices. No pressure, very friendly, and we enjoyed him! The promise delivery soon made it easy. We shopped at several other stores, and the service, and fast delivery made our decision.

Went in today and got some bedroom furniture. We were helped by a gentleman named Scott. He was very helpful and helped us all the way through the process.

If you are looking for any type of furniture go to Ashley Home Store in Madison and ask for Mr Scott Dickens. He was very friendly, polite and will take good care of you like he did with us today. We will be going back when we need to. I highly recommend them to everyone.

We have had really bad experience with all the money we spent at Ashley's. 2-4 weeks for our table turned into 12. Got a text saying finally in on Saturday but could not deliver till next Thursday. I asked if we could pickup. He said sure. So distribution center opens at 8 am. So my husband drove from Gallatin to LA Vegne got there and not open on Mondays. People were there but not open to pickup. So my husband came home went back Tuesday morning to find out all the chairs were not there. So my husband took what they had and left. They said rest of chairs at another warehouse. So I got a call they were bringing chairs over could my husband come back. So he did. Amazes me all of a sudden rest of chairs appeared. Very poor service and information wrong. So sad to pay this much and get the run around. I will not buy anything else from Ashley!!

I have changed my rating because we have had a bad experience with trying to resolve an issue with our purchase. Store Manager and Regional manager will not contact us and they will not right the wrong of their sales associate. Their customer service representative thinks it's funny that we are unhappy with the merchandise and laughs about the fact that they will not do anything to resolve the issue. Worst experience I have ever had with a $4000.00 purchase.

Delivery on7/27/2022 Furniture (bed) come damaged and returning back. Delivery men get angry. Pushed the bed hit my wall.

The movers were on time and moved quickly and carefully. They didnt make any mess and were very kind. They asked me where I wanted my furniture placed, then stepped back and made sure I was happy where it was before they moved on to something else. I LOVE my furniture.

Waited 4 months for something that said would be there in 1 month. Then they delivered the wrong pieces twice. I ordered two pieces to make a couch and they delivered two left side pieces which made me have to 180 one side so that we could stretch our legs... Then they refunded the entire order at the end (after 8 months of back and forth) but I still got charged a $150 delivery fee for something I never kept. Wasted time there, time waiting without the correct couch, and wasted money. People are nice at the store but customer service/corporate are not helpful at all with hours long calls and wait times. Avoided wasted weekends and shop at ikea.

They don't deserve the star. BEWARE DONT UY ANYTHING FROM THEM! We ordered 2 desks last December. The date we could get them went from 2 weeks to 2030. Then to August 2022. We received a call to pick them up today. We started putting them together and realized both are just the return portion of the desk minus one of the drawers. Who orders a return with 2 legs. We told the salesman we wanted 2 desks and paid in full. Contacting customer service is impossible. I will never order a thing from them.

Worse delivery experience ever. Delivery drivers through furniture boxes off delivery truck to the ground, causing multiple damage. Driver didn’t seem to care about it when being notified and/or bother suggesting to take back damage furniture.

They opened two accounts with two separate companies for one purchase resulting in two credit score hard pulls. Nothing can be done to reverse that. Total scam. Avoid at all costs.

I bought a mattress here, but I do not appreciate all the high-pressure sales tactics over the $400 mattress protector that they tried to add-on without even asking. The pressure was so high to buy the mattress protector that at one point I had three people all together trying to sell it to me. One claimed he was the floor manager, who was not needed to come over there and apply more pressure, one was the 'sleep specialist' and the other was the regular sales girl. At one point I just walked away, I said 'no just stop' and I took a trip around the store just to relieve stress and get away from their pressure. When I came back the first words out of their mouth was was I going to buy mattress protector? They almost lost the sale of a $3,000 mattress over the stupid mattress protector. As I walked away and they said oh look, we actually found one for cheaper. The anxiety was high, too high and it was beyond the point of rude that they wouldn't stop.

Dave took all my money and was worth every penny. Highly recommend seeing him if you visit the store.

Sales personnel were great. They told me the items were available for immediate delivery. However, I got a call with details about delivery. Delivery was cancelled for the promised Saturday. Caller then said it was postponed until Monday, at which time they would give me a new delivery date. I hung up and called the person with more info. Delivery would be scheduled then. “Right now 6 wk to 3 mos. I cancelled the order, went to DT McCalls and received everything I wanted and got it in my home on Saturday.

The sales staff and manager were amazing. They made sure that we were taken care of, and were very knowledgeable and thorough.

I went into the store to browse and see if I saw anything I wanted and was warmly greeted by Makinda. I told her what I was looking for and she pointed me in the right direction giving me all the detailed information I asked for. I left the store AFTER MY PURCHASE feeling great about my experience.

Dave was EXCELLENT! We were greeted as soon as we entered the store. We spoke casually which I appreciated, no pressure or rush. He helped us find a bedroom suit for my daughter. We rejected the first 4 sets he showed us, he didn't lose his patience. He actually took the time to evaluate our likes/dislikes. We purchased the perfect suit. I'd been looking months, MONTHS!!!! The only con is the delivery time: 6 weeks. Ughh! I hope that's not an industry standard. I would definitely buy from them again.

Will never order from this store again. We bought a dining room table with chairs and a bench. We expected a delay in delivery of 4 months due to availability of supplies at time of purchase. At 4 months we were told delivery was on time only to be told a few weeks later that our shipment was delayed another month (only found out due to calling; no courtesy call). Fast forward, and our shipment gets delayed another 2 months (again no phone call, we had to call the store). In total, we were expected to wait 7 months for our delivery with no phone call or apology or concern for the money we spent on a product we eventually had to cancel for refund. Poor communication and poor expectations.

Very unpleasant experience with Ashley’s quality of service. Despite a mediocre in-store shopping experience, I still proceeded with purchasing bedroom furniture. After waiting over 6 months for furniture that I paid for on the spot, the disappointment continued when the third party white-glove delivery team damaged my mirror. The issues were reported; however, it was not documented by the third party contact center. It has been a month and still no replacement mirror. Then, to add to it, the distribution center did not include all parts to my bed set. This was also reported by the delivery person, I was advised I would have the remaining parts mailed to me in 7 business days. That time has exceeded! What makes matters worse is the lack of accountability and support, I’ve had to call several times and still no resolution. I think it’s beyond asinine for the customer to experience all this to get what they paid for, especially when it comes to a store like Ashley’s.

Great service was very patient through the whole process. 10/10 will recommend going here again!

Y'all let me tell you about Ashley Homestore... I had looked at them on line and didn't see a reason to stop in. Boy was I WRONG!! They have incredibly beautiful furniture. Yes the prices can be steep (everything is right now), but you get what you pay for. Makinda was fantastic. I think we sat on and evaluated every couch, loveseat and recliner in the building. She was a trooper through it all. The other staff that I chatted with were super funny, very helpful, and kind. We found a couch I LOVE, in the right color scheme, and could be delivered quickly. 100% will shop this store again. Makinda is my girl, but I don't think you'd have a bad experience with anyone that works there.

Went in just to look around and met Sean. He never hovered after introducing himself but, he was very much available if we had questions. Sean was very helpful in assisting us in getting what we needed. He didn’t get flustered as i changed my mind about what I wanted and he provided the costs for everything I inquired about. He also provided the anticipated delivery dates on what I finally settled on. The only reason I gave the experience 4-stars was because everything I wanted was on back order until May and Sean had nothing to do with that, he was just the messenger.

I went back to Ashley homestore because of the good customer service I have had in the past. Taylor was very helpful and I found the exact bed I was looking for and also another item I had not planned on buying but love it.

I had high hopes for Ashley Furniture, Eric was a great sales rep, the transaction went smooth until the delivery. When items were delivered they were installed incorrectly, which we didn't find out until we actually laid down on the bed and felt the bed break down. We went through the proper channels via customer service, long story short, we had 5 empty promises that someone from their repair dpt would call us back. Fast forward almost two months later, they finally came over to fix the bed that took 15 mins to install new parts. I had to go to the store and talk to the manager to truly have someone call me back and schedule the repair. The problem with this business is they have a 3rd party customer service, a 3rd party repair center, and they don't talk to each other. When you are paying $100 for a delivery fee, you would expect the installation to be near perfect and if its not a proper timely resolution (not almost two months) I will never buy from Ashley Furniture again.

Walked in and was met by Italo (cool name)! I told him what I was looking for; bed frame, dresser, couch and mattress. He promptly walked me around the store showing me the various things I was looking for. He was very polite and although new, you could tell he knew his stuff. We must have priced 10 different couches out. I’m very thankful for all the time spent with me. What I liked best about the experience was how non pushy he was and let me make my own decisions without me feeling forced upon anything. You don’t typically get that in a furniture store. Also, shout out to Jason who helped along the journey. He helped me pick out a world class mattress. I would recommend this location to anyone. Money well spent

Recently bought two bedroom sets. Our sales representative was Dave. He was excellent in making the transaction smooth. Educated me on the sets I were buying, gave personal opinions on what would go, and was very attentive. I would definitely recommend this place to buy furniture.

Our experience was great! The staff was very friendly, helpful, and so patient with us! They were able to answer our questions, all while giving us space (which we all know it’s not fun to be hovered over). We will definitely be back to buy accessories for our new living room set!

She knew what functions each one had and what colors they came in. She listened to our needs and made sure we had the perfect livingroom for our family. It was so nice to have a friendly and helpful person taking care of us while at Ashley's today!

The curtisey and attitude of the staff more than made up for the prices. I had two Sells reps loading up furniture for me because the store was about to close and the delivery guys in the back were out for the day.

Do not pay in advance for an order….Everything was fine in regard to the ordering process. Ordered a couch in July was told we would get it in October. Then I called to check the status… now saying January of next year. We called and left 3 messages at the store and emailed asking to get more info and no one will respond to our calls. I get that this is a problem for everyone throughout the country, but to me good services involves being courteous enough to return a phone call.

2 months ago we ordered a sectional we were first told all the pieces would be here middle of October except the center piece. We emailed the salesman and he told us good news it will all be here Oct 15th. So we ordered the sectional, kept in touch and he was very responsive. I then ask to make sure we are still good for the 15th.. no reply .. ask again.. no reply. So I go online and chat with them and they told me it would be Nov-Dec. explains why the salesman is ignoring me.. That night we go in to verify, the guy at the counter said yes that it is correct it got pushed back. We said forget we want to cancel the order, we want a refund etc. he said it may take up to 4-5 days to get the refund. So that same night we went to rooms to go and picked up a different sectional that was available the same day. The next day Ashley calls and says good news we were able to get your sectional sooner and it will be delivered the 14th. I said uhm no we canceled that order yesterday.. told him the situation and He said ohh ok I will let them know. Now the salesman emails and is kind of rude about it. I told him we have canceled the order.. he said enjoy your new sectional. Now I have Ashley calling me back to back to schedule my delivery.. ITS BEEN CANCELED! And still have no refund! I finally talk to a lady from customer service to get it canceled. She claimes she canceled it. 10 min later 2 more calls trying to confirm delivery date.. NEVER AGAIN WILL I BUY FROM THEM

This location is a joke. I bought this couch last nov and it has broken twice and since July of this year I have been trying to get this UCB fixed and have the parts. They say I cannot return the couch to get something different that a third party is the only one that can give permission which doesn't make sense at all. I have told Facebook twitter news channel 2 and 5 about this I'm so upset I'm so stressed and anxiety. No one has even offered anything for all the stress and anxiety I just keep being told I will get a call tmw.

Enjoyed visiting my local Ashley Homestore. Taylor was very helpful and informative. I found two bedroom sets that met my needs. I ended up buying one of them and of course now like every other furniture vendor the waiting begins.

We loved the experience at Ashley Furniture! They were so patient with us as we made our decisions on our bedroom set. We also brought my mother and law and they helped her pick out some things too! KD was pleasant to work with and answered all of our questions! Taylor was super to work with when we were looking at different mattress and was super patient with my mother in law as she tried several mattresses. We will definitely be back at the Goodlettsville location for more furniture. I would recommend this location to friend’s , family or anyone looking for reasonably priced furniture and great customer service!

It was about 4:45pm and my husband and I wanted to check out another store first before we decide on the sofa and love seat. It was the very first place we went. Well Taylor had to leave at 5 so she got Jason to help us if we where to return. I asked and made sure Taylor would get the commission cause she is the one that really helped us.. So we came back and Taylor was gone so Jason did come over to help he was very pleasant also, Professional and honest. We asked about getting furniture when we wanted it and he explained what was going on why several weeks or months why we wont get it.... He was very professional about it... We ended up buying the sofa and love seat also i loved the tables that was with it so we bought those too, then my husband said to jason add on that tv stand too. So Jason got up and got the info on TV stand. He was a very nice manager and very professional I will go back to this store and let people/family/friends no about this Ashley store..... Ok so now it is 3 months later.... I have not had so much problems with anyone in my life like I have with this store. You can't get a phone number for corporate or the store manager Max his boss? When u google it it gives u the number for Ashley furniture corporate office but the one in Goodlettville isn't affiliated with that store ... It is a mess. . I bought kitchen table 6 chairs and a server they have scheduled the server ,,3 times already this is our 4,the time.. 3 times damaged on truck.... Then you reschedule and then ,2 days later it reschedules you another day. .... It has been just a head ache from the beginning.... Since all of this evening living room furniture there was problems. I really want to turn them in to BBB... You wonder who this guy Peter is who owns this Ashley's... No I will not give a good experience.....

This has been a terrible experience! My sofa has taken forever to be delivered! My delivery date was confirmed for 5-7pm, and the delivery guys called me at 7pm stating that they were an hour away. I waited a other 2 hours without ever hearing from the delivery guys again. I have completely wasted my whole night away waiting for a sofa that never arrived. They at least could’ve called me to let me know that they will not be coming. This is the most inconvenient, unrealistic way to treat customers buying $5000 furniture. I think this is ridiculous and a store like Ashley’s should have some delivery integrity and would hope that their employees are held accountable for mistreating customers. The delivery guys were super unprofessional as well! This has just been the worst experience. Hopefully, my sofa will arrive tomorrow, but I have no way of knowing if that is the case.

Do not shop here. This place is a joke. They use a 3rd party delivery service. Purchased couch months ago of course with Covid inventory was not available. Understand this process. What I have a issue with is delivery got pushed from 3rd week of August to first week of September. Store called and confirmed this delivery date. Took off work and no one showed. Not even a phone call. Had to call to find out why it wasn’t delivered. Could not get any answers. Was told I would get a refund for delivery. I did receive my refund. Was told delivery would be following week. Called them to find out delivery got pushed another week. Wow all this information I had to find out without someone calling to let me know. Good thing I didn’t take off work again. All I want is my couch that has been paid for. The customer service is absolutely sub par. This experience has been awful. I will not be doing business here ever again. I advise others do the same.

Great service! Researched a couch online, found one we liked, found a better one as a floor model at our local store, got a sweet discount and enjoyed the conversation with the employee that helped us. Shipping is crazy right now, but we are pleased and happy to wait.

We walked in and thought we knew what we wanted. We were immediately asked if we needed anything and told them what we were looking for. She took us straight there and gave us even more options and colors that we ended up falling in love with a storage option in white. Only took off one star because once we sat down to finalize the purchase it took way longer than we expected. Overall, really happy with our purchase and the help we got.

I left a great review almost 4 months ago on my in store experience at Ashley and unfortunately I have to delete it so that I can share my horrible experience after ordering, since you can only leave one review per business on Google. It has taken about 4 months for my furniture to be delivered. I reached out multiple times via email to my sales manager and never got an update on the order status. This sales manager also texted me on a Friday night at 10 pm. The text message didn’t provide any useful information on my order and was followed by a message that I would say is inappropriate especially for the time of day. The online order tracking does not work, it says the order number is incorrect. I have been patient and understanding knowing that shipments have been delayed due to the pandemic but when my furniture was finally delivered it was damaged. The delivery service called customer service on the spot and had them order a replacement. I never received a tracking number or email with an update for the replacement piece. Reached out via chat and an agent asked how to assist but after asking how to access my account for new tracking number they ended the chat without assisting me. I called customer service and spoke to an agent who told me that the replacement (that I sat and listened to the delivery service order on my behalf) was never actually ordered. After they created the order for me I asked how to access my account and they told me they didn’t know and had zero empathy for the entire story I am writing about now. I called the store and they immediately scheduled a delivery date for the new item. So I waited almost 4 months for my damaged order to come but am able to get the replacement immediately after ordering? Needless to say this is my first and last order from Ashley. I am expecting a full refund on this piece not because of the wait for it to come but because of how horrible customer service has been and how stressful this entire experience was.

I am upset because in April I went to buy a dining room and they told me that in mid-June they are going to bring me my things and it is August and to date they still haven't brought me everything. I can't have a family dinner because they are just lying that they are going to bring me the chairs and they change and change the days. The furniture is so expensive that you are playing with one saying that your furniture will be delivered in 2 months and it is already 4 months that I buy them

All the people we dealt with were fine, but when we bought a clearance couch as is we should have been informed that if something happened to it there would not be a warranty on it. Within one month both parts of the sectional broke. Spent the next month trying to get them to come out and fix it. When I stopped hearing anything from them my husband stopped by the store and asked about it only to discover that they refused to fix it. What happened nice to know from the beginning so we could have just fixed it when it happened.

Told me I could get my coffee table in June and my side tables would be late July. I was never informed that they were delayed. Coffee table in late August and the rest in October. Went to the store to see what I could get done and the guys was nice and told me it was Sat and they couldn't do anything until Mon and he would get back to me then. Never heard back. Tried to cancel and I'm going through hell to get it done.

The service was exceptional and the quality of the merchandise was fantastic. I would definitely shop there again.

Sean was so helpful and wonderful to work with and was able to work around my schedule so that I could get the couch I wanted when they were running a sale. Also, Ashley has the most beautiful furniture out of all the stores I’ve popped into lately. So excited to shop there in the future.

I stopped by the store during my lunch hour to browse. I told the salesman, Steve, what I was searching for. He listened to what I needed and was so knowledgeable about what he had to offer he was able to direct me to exactly what I was looking for. He made the process effortless. There was no pressure to buy from him but to get me what I needed and save me the most money. I purchased one the the adjustable beds and can’t wait for it to be delivered so I can get back to a great nights sleep.

Manager wasn't nice. Wasn't helpful. He didn't try to accommodate me and my needs. I came in to spend ALOT of my on all new furniture in my house for my whole family. I only asked to leave with 1 chair.... Or 1 couch.... As I have had nothing to sit in or on at my house in 4 months... The manager said absolutely not. So I went somewhere else! And because I went to another place.... As that place was closing... And they stayed open late to accommodate my needs ... I even tipped everyone in the store that stayed and helped me very well ❤️

I went in Ashley's over the weekend, not intending on buying anything but the people at the Madison TN location were so friendly and really tried to give me the best deal possible. I was not able to pay for my bedroom set at the time because I have a block on my account and the sale was ending Sunday. They help my order open until Monday & to my surprise when I went in the store to pay, they had given me a greater discount on the bedroom set. Too, they didn't pressure me into buying anything & they answered all of my questions, Courtney even went around trying to put together a package deal that would save me money......

I'm not sure I've ever actually enjoyed purchasing furniture but I did with Ashley. The staff was engaging and attentive and fun to work with. The furniture is great quality! I can't wait to have my new furniture delivered!

Employees do not answer the phone, staff does not treat customers with respect. Even the manager has an attitude of they have to speak to a customer. Roz should really not be a manager with the communication skills and attitude that she has.

When we went to the Ashley home store we were greeted warmly and told about some major once in a lifetime sale they were having. We picked out several things ( a leather sectional, 4 barstools, and an accent chair) and checked out. Almost 100 days later and we still haven’t received any of our order, the dates keep changing and what they supposedly have in the warehouse keeps changing. I believe several items of our order have arrived but because it’s not complete they give some of our items to other costumers and just order another one. We ordered in March and some of the items aren’t even supposed to arrive until July now. But that’s not the worst part. My wife was showing a friend the furniture we picked out on the Ashley home store website and it was significantly cheaper and the online store was offering 20% off, on top of it already being cheaper plus the items would be shipped immediately and the expected delivery dates were all within a few days. We confronted the store and they did give us a partial refund for the internet price, but wouldn’t include the internet sale price. If it wasn’t such a hassle and we hadn’t already waited so long we would just cancel our order. Completely awful. We purchased a sofa from another company and it came in two weeks, and then we went to another competitor for some end tables just last week and it too has already been delivered. Don’t try and call the Ashley 1-800 number either they are of no help. Update: We received our order and half of it was damaged. We were left with 2 barstools instead of 4 and half a sectional sofa. Insane. Now we have to wait months and months for the replacements and hope they’re not damaged.

The worst customer service of any furniture store I have been to. You cannot call the store, as all calls are routed to customer service in Dallas. We bought several pieces of furniture 3 months ago, and the arrival date continues to be pushed back! No one offers to help, but continue to say it’s out of our control, in a very hateful manner. We will never purchase from them again!

I highly do NOT recommend ordering furniture from Ashley. On 3/17 I ordered a love seat and couch. I was hold it would be delivered on April 17th. On the 14th I tried calling all the numbers I could find because my call keep getting dropped. Decided to do the online chat. I was told my order was backordered until June of 2024... finally got ahold of someone in customer service. 2024 was a type-o but it was backordered until this June. Which was disappointing because April 17th was my back ordered date. On April 22nd (today) I received a voicemail to call a number to schedule my delivery. Did so, and the automated voice said I do not have an order to schedule. Called the number that left me a voicemail, the same lady who left me the voicemail said they do not have an account with my phone number. HOW does that make sense?!?!? Was finally able to get ahold of customer service. He told me that they shouldn't have called me and I should expect a call on May 15th to schedule a delivery for May 18th. While I am glad it is sooner than June, the whole experience has been awful. Every person I have spoken too has said something different. At this point, I just hope my set comes in one piece and I don't have to deal with Ashley ever again.

Their service is the worst that I have ever seen. Ordered a couch which 2 1/2 months to get. When it came it had some problems. Call service next day and was told that some would call within 48 hours. No one call and called them which was on a Friday and was told that some one would call on Monday. No one called and had to call them back. We were told that they could not give us a date for someone to fix. It took several more calls over several weeks. Got someone in to give us a date which was a month away. 24 hours we called to make sure that someone would be out the next. They were suppose to call but didn't t. When we got of hold of someone they told us that it would be another month before we get someone to fix the couch. I would avoid buying any furniture from ashley. They do not provide any service.

Taylor, the sleep/mattress specialist, was a tremendous help. We were in the process of buying a house and couldn’t purchase the day we browsed and worked with Taylor. She got us set up to make the purchase once we closed, so we wouldn’t have any issues with the closing process or the entire house buying process overall. The day after we closed we were able to come in and pick right up where we left off, as if it was the same day. She made the entire experience simple and stress-free!

My experience with the River gate, TN store (#13), was fantastic. My wife and I went in to purchase an adjustable bed/base. Our sales person was Max Smith. Max went above and beyond for us. My wife had very selective choices and expectations, and Max met every need plus more that we wanted. The quality of furniture is top notch. The financing experience was fast and easy. We left the store with complimentary queen size cooling pillows, that other brand name stores never offered us. Max showed us several types of makes and models of mattresses and explained the functions of how the base operated in full. When it came time to sign the paperwork, Max explained everything about warranties, delivery, damages,replacements,etc. Max left no stone un covered and made us feel fully satisfied as customers. The rest of the staff in the store was very courteous as well. I would highly recommend this store for any household needs.

Customer service is great.... didn’t love the variety of the dining table selections available in store, but the employees were understanding and not at all pushy. *** UPDATE, 6 weeks later*** still have not received any furniture... after ordering about $10,000 worth of furniture and being told it should be delivered in 6-8 weeks but “no more than 8 weeks” just received communication that we wouldn’t be able to receive our order until the middle of JUNE!!!! Seriously... what kind of business model works this way? 4 months to deliver goods???? We cancelled our order, we will figure out somewhere else to spend our money!

I cut myself short the first time by going to another furniture store instead of Ashley’s Furniture . I didn’t make that mistake twice. I love the quality of their furniture as well as the customer service provided by Taylor. She was awesome! I had another appointment to get to and she got my order put in and me approved in minutes. I highly recommend going to Ashley’s to get your next furniture purchase. I definitely will be returning to Ashley’s to replace the over priced, cheaply made furniture that I bought from the other place. I have waited 4 months for my order.. a month over expected delivery. Was told it would be the end of this month and now the run around again. Can’t get an accurate answer from anyone. Each person gives you a different answer

Jasmine was definitely amazing. She really took the time out to really get to know what the customer really wants. I would definitely recommend people to go see her. She made us feel comfortable instead of treating us just to get her numbers or commission. The number 1 furniture place is the place to be.

10/2020 : I’ve ordered from Ashley home store twice. Each order something is wrong every time. On the 23rd of September 2020 I had a dinning table & chairs delivered. They forgot the screws to the table & have yet to send them..The first time I ordered was last year from the Thompson lane location, I furnished my whole apartment there & the bed came with no screws for the rails. Then from there the handles on my dressers started falling off & won’t stay on, that was December 2019. I’ve put in several claims to try & get the dresser replaced since then & it has yet to happen. I will not be ordering anything else from any Ashley home store location. 02/13/2021 Update: was promised 2 deliveries dates last week & they never showed up.

Worst customer service ever. I am beyond disappointed with our experience with this company. We ordered over $5,000 worth of furniture in October. We were promised everything would arrive within 10 weeks. It is now February. Nowhere near close to having our furniture. They ended up canceling our entire order without our consent. I will never recommend this place or advise furniture from here. We have been going in circles since we signed paperwork and agreed to purchase. Absolutely nightmare of an experience. I do not normally complain or take the time out of my day but feel it is necessary to receive this feedback. Look elsewhere. There’s better out there.

Probably the worst experience shopping in my lifetime. Everyone was very friendly when we were spending money and that’s when it ends. We bought everything for our new house from a tempurpedic to the bed set, to dining room furniture and sectional and tables for the living room. This was last October with a promise of 10 weeks shipping at the latest. It is January, I have no idea where our stuff is and now I’m trying to return the one part of a sofa we did get delivered and it is a struggle. Called weekly with promise of a manager reaching out. Every time we called again they “had no notes and no record of our call.” Finally decided to just go to the store since nobody would call us. After going back and forth with the people at the front desk and waiting 30 minutes to talk to a manager we finally got good news to get our order cancelled and to have a sofa piece taken back so we can finally just go and buy a couch and everything else somewhere else. Scheduled the pickup for the one thing we have and took the day off work. Nobody shows up! Called twice in the morning to confirm they were coming today between 11-2pm. Called customer service to see if they can contact a driver so at least we have an updated window. Probably the worst attitude I have dealt with since the beginning. No there’s nobody you can talk to and “I guess you’ll just have to wait a little longer and if not you’ll have to reschedule”. That’s it! I took a day off for nothing and now I’m sure I’ll have to take another day off and who knows if they’ll show?! I am not sure how this company actually operates. The employees are clearly aggressive because they probably get screamed at all day. I didn’t even raise my voice and just sincerely want to be done with all of this. I have filed a complaint with the customer service line, I have called many times with no response, and I am not sure why it feels like I am the one who works at Ashley Furniture. I hope people read this with sincerity and purchase somewhere else. This has been such a headache and we still live in a house with no furniture. 2/9/21 just wanted to update everyone here again. I have responded to said email. Still no reply there. Went into the store, cancelled everything but the bed frame after waiting for a manager to talk to. Was initially denied a cancellation and offered store credit. Not sure why I want to add another year to the wait. Just called to see where my bed frame is, they said that was cancelled too. Tried to call the store again, no answer, no voicemail. Can’t seem to talk to anyone here that knows what’s going on without driving over there. I feel as if this is some kind of scam that I have found my way into. I literally just wanted to buy furniture and here I am 5 months later with part of a bed frame and a mattress. Is there anyone that can actually help me?? Edit 3: it is March 30th. Just called to check on replacement for damaged frame piece that occurred during shipping. No notes that it happened, no notes about a replacement, nothing can be done because I’m out of the “72 hours”. I have ever email from well within 72 hours and then some so again, not sure who can help me? Can someone please just send the replacement piece so I can go on with my life? I ordered back in October. No contact, no follow up, no information on why to so, just a 4,000$ bill.

Went into the store to look for a twin bed. Though they did not have any thing on the floor, the sales associate took the time to show us what was in their system. They have a better selection than what is on line. Appreciated that we could find a bed for our son.

Absolutely horrible experience. Went in and was confronted at the door. A simple greeting would have been great. Unfortunately, when we said we were looking for a sofa - Billy spent 2-3 minutes wasting time telling us about the "specials" on mattresses. We aren't here for a mattress today, Billy - we said sofa. He never pointed us in the direction of sofas or told us anything about sofas. Oddly enough, He followed us around the store and spoke into his headset three times. Honestly, there were two sofas I saw I would've spoke to a sales person about - but, after this dude creeper'd us around the damn store - we left. Later that day - we bought a sofa from La-Z-boy. Spent over 1500 at your competitor.

Over all my experience was great. Walking in everything is neat and well put together. I definitely felt safe that’s very important especially during a pandemic. I got greeted shortly after walking in and was asked if I needed help with anything. I continued to brows around and I had another employee ask if I had any questions which made me feel welcomed and important. We decided to make our purchase and I’m very happy with the service provided. Definitely coming back .

We had a wonderful experience at the Rivergate location. There was no high pressure to purchase. Gwen Holley, our salesperson, was knowledgeable and very helpful. It was evident that she wanted us to find what we were looking for and to be happy with our purchase. Justin, the manager, was personable and represents the organization well.

Jason Gross is kind, fun, and comfortable to work with. We just a bought a new house and this was our first ever large purchase. He was patient, gave us space when we wanted it, and made sure to always verify any finance info before saying it was set in stone. At the end of the process the manager Justin helped us out in a way that we didn't expect, left us speechless. Its obvious that customer service is the #1 priority at Ashley Furniture in Madison and we will be recommending this location to all our friends and family.

Courtney McWhorter was our Sales Rep. She walked us through all the steps we needed to know with such “Intelligence, Professionalism & Class”. We even referred her to our Aunt who is interested in buying a Couch set. I will definitely go back to Ashley Furniture because of Ms. McWhorter😉.

When my husband and I walked in, the associates were not pushy, allowed us to look around. We had an idea in mind and an associate, cannot remember his name directed us to Ms Taylor. Taylor was incredibly knowledgeable in what we were looking for, gave us space to discuss with each other and then promptly ask if we had additional question. We purchased a recliner couch with electrical outlets and USB ports. This place has the worst customer service.... I spent 11k on furniture in September and I am still waiting on it. I have been told that it was in the warehouse and I would get a call Friday to schedule a deliver. This never happened, I called today just to be told that they no longer have the pieces and they have no idea when it will be in. *****DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HERE!!!!! ***

If you buy any furniture here and they try to SELL you the insurance don’t buy it unless you plan on using it! The no use no lose is a total farce. We spent just under $5000 five years ago and were talked into the coverage because how can you lose. This is how. When we went to buy with our $249.99 credit, we learned that we had to spend a minimum of $500. We were never told this when we bought our furniture. I looked through my paper work and found nothing that stated this. I was told that they now give a flyer with that information. Okay, so I’ll look around but how do I know what’s on sale? Oh, you don’t get the sale price because you already have the credit. So, everyone else gets up to 50% off and I have to pay full price? So, can I buy clearance items? Only at full price! That’s crazy! So, I could have gotten the same deal (if I spent $500) without buying insurance that I never would have bought without the pitch! I was told that there was nothing 50% off. The sign says up to 50% off. Does that not imply that something is 50% off? I was told that that was a marketing strategy that everyone uses. I will be shopping elsewhere!

Shame on them. Run away from this place as fast as possible. Bought furniture in September. Currently they are saying delivery will be February of 2021. Will be filing with the Better Business Bureau. They continue to sell furniture that will never come. They will lie to you to sell you furniture and get commission but not hold true to their dates. It is terrible to take advantage of people during this time. Bought furniture from another company and received it in weeks. Will never again shop at Ashley. They will reach out and ask for your info but to look good on the reviews but the escalation team will provide you with no actual solutions or get your furniture to you. I have talked to them for for weeks. There is zero accountability, zero compassion, zero remorse. Said we would settle for the floor model and told “we can’t release them because of covid safety issues”. You can come sit on it at the store all day and buy it and wait five months but you can’t take it home because then it’s unsafe. How much sense does that make. As long as your payment goes through they are done with you.

If I could give Ashely 0 stars, I would. I ordered a queen bedroom set in July from Ashley in Rivergate and it has yet to be delivered now in December. I was originally told it would take 6-8 weeks, now it has been 5 months and I still have no furniture. The delivery has been scheduled 5 times and canceled each time either the day before or the morning it was supposed to arrive. I am beginning to think this company is a gigantic scam. When you try to call, you get placed on an automatic messaging machine that takes at least 30 minutes for rude and unhelpful individuals to answer. I literally had a person tell me to cancel my order if I was so upset that it wasn't received. Apparently Ashley thinks telling people to go somewhere else is good customer service. These individuals also can't offer any information on someone higher up to talk with to get the problem fixed. Seems like a big scandal. I've filed a complaint on the company's webpage to get one email of an individual who said she would "look into it". I never received another email back even after following up. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and still nothing has changed. This is the absolute worst buying experience of furniture I or any of my family/friends have had with furniture. Buyers please go literally anywhere else and avoid Ashley.

Highly recommend for mattress purchasing! We visited 7 different stores while mattress shopping, and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Ashley Homestore in Goodlettsville. Taylor was a HUGE help to us! We came here 3 different times, and each time she was beyond helpful. She never pressured us, and continued to give us any bit of information that we asked for. She definitely knows her stuff when it comes to mattresses. We will definitely be back one day.

Bought a queen bed frame for our sleep number bed. First time in one and the staff was super knowledge and was upfront and very honest about how long the delivery would take. I would for sure come back agin in the future.

The local store was fine to work with. DELIVERY has been the WORSE experience I have ever had with any company. It takes at least 20 minutes to get on the phone with anyone to discuss delivery. Once I was able to speak with someone at a call center, they gave us a date of delivery and then did not deliver. We called again and they said it was changed to a new date. The new date came and they didn’t deliver. We called again and they stated something about not being able to cross the bridge to our home. BUT NOONE TRIED TO CONTACT US TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE! We now still do not have furniture or a bed to sleep on at our new home and I cannot get anyone from the distribution center to contact us to pickup the furniture ourselves. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN AND YOU SHOULD NOT EITHER!

Just met with Monique for the second time and she was amazing! She walked us through the store and gave us plenty of options as well as some out of store options. They ended up working out a sweet deal with us and the store manager Justin was a big help in getting us situated outside of Monique’s help. Super service at the Ashley furniture store from Taylor Pagels at the Madison,TN location. She acknowledged us as soon as we entered the store and took us straight back to what we were looking for. She gave us time to think about our decision and choose the right one. She was never pushy and made us feel rushed. She was extremely knowledgeable and knew her products. In addition, she took the time to show me additional pics on the computer. With Covid only a few sectionals were being produced into a sleeper and she knew of the only 2 that we had to choose from. At check out she offered us the promotional items and saved me some money! She saved us a lot of time in our search and made buying from Ashley super easy! Thank you Taylor! Do not use this place, waited about a month on a bedroom suite and we never heard anything about it being delivered. We called them 4 times before we heard anything and they said just the dresser would be delivered. Of course we got the dresser and it has a huge crack in it so we weren’t even able to get it. Then we call the store and they have no idea when we can get another one so we cancelled the order and wanted a refund of course we give them cash and now they say we have to wait on a check! Do not use this place you will regret

Maybe we’re all just settling too easily into blaming everything on the COVID-19 scenario, but this was a pretty cut & dry situation. I had done preshopping & came in to but a new leather chair. I knew what I wanted & where it was in the store so I walked in & when straight over to the counter where you pay. I stood in front of the counter for almost 15 minutes while there were several other people being helped. No one acknowledged that I was still standing in the same place.... in front of the where you pay as they buzzed around me. I finally stopped someone who was chatting with someone doing paperwork & asked I what exactly I needed to do to buy something, because I was clearly missing a step. Somehow I was blamed for being “sneaky” and slipping past the apparent hordes of employees just waiting to help me! 🤷🏻‍♂️ So, I paid for the chair. Refused to the pay the delivery fee that was basically 40% of the cost of what I was buying & agreed to pick it up myself in Smyrna. It was supposed to take about 5-7 business days to arrive & I would pick it up myself. Well, after what was almost 2 weeks, I finally called to ask what was up I was just informed that it was “delayed.” No estimate of how much longer it would take, just... we have your money now so you have to wait & deal with it. Ok bye! When I was finally notified early the following week that the chair was finally able to pick it up, I drove from Madison to Smyrna on my lunch break to arrive at 2:06p. Apparently, the close at 2 now, even though the door still says 5p & when you pull up their details on Google, it says the same. Love the chair! Looks great in the room, super comfy, reasonable price. I give the chair itself a 5! Now the customer service, communication & attention to detail, I give it a strong 2. So, I guess this all worked out to a very mediocre 3.5 stars. Not sure that I will be back unless I’m prepared to deal with the nonsense again. I also ordered a piece from Haverty’s afterwards & that came 2 days delayed, but I was notified twice of the delays & they reiterated the apology when I picked up the piece. I’ll definitely find myself checking out that store first before wandering back into Ashley.

My fourth time shopping with Ashley Furniture. I haven’t yet received my furniture but I know I will love it. The only thing is I wish they had more of a selection available. Every sofa set I seen online they didn’t have available in store and my I felt that my sells rep didn’t make an effort to look and see if it would be available to ship to me. Editing 3 months later: a lot of scheduled deliveries with a lot of cancellations. Finally received my kitchen table set only to receive the wrong table. Never got my sectional because every week, twice a week they would change my delivery date. I went ahead and canceled my order.

I went in after a long day at work looking for a mattress. I was in and out in 45 minutes. Delivery scheduled for next week. Samantha was amazing. Wonderful experience.

Had a great experience during the sale, but I began having problems with my delivery so when I called the store they told me one thing that was different from what the had told me in the store during the sale. They will never answer the phone at all when I call them. After explaining my issues with the delivery and other things, Gwen, my sales person was very rude! Got a couch and two bar stools from this Ashley HomeStore location and my experience was incredible. I am extremely indecisive and it took two trips in the store, each lasting well past an hour to make a decision but the staff was amazingly helpful through out the process. Emily, our sales associate helped me each time I visited and she put up with me struggling to make a decision, walked with me through the store the entire time as I sat on ever single couch multiple times and gave me some great advice and support which helped me make my final decision. I have been calling for a total of two weeks. It rings for about 10 minutes, and someone hangs up. It's not like I can just drive up there I moved two hours from this location, and theres not one local. I paid $3,000 for my bed-but I cant get ahold of a representative. This is horrible customer service. I won't be giving my business to them ever again.

Will never ever ever buy from Ashley again. Bought a sleigh bed from a individual that was from Ashley furniture. This was for my daughters birthday. She wanted the night stand to match so I ordered it offline. Never got any kind of conformation at all. Never no tracking number. Between 6 and 7 weeks we finally got it from UPS. No damage to the box at all but the night stand had the corner broke and wear on the edges. Like I said never again!

I went in yesterday to buy a new bed, new nightstands and a new Mattress. The store is setup beautifully and everything was easy to find. They had a great selection to choose from. Our sales associate, Lee, was friendly and knowledgeable. He listened to what we were looking for and helped us find the perfect match. As a bonus He was also patient with my kids who were a little hyper due to finally being able to get out of the house. Payment was easy and delivery will be quick. If you don’t like pushy sales people and extremely over priced furniture I would definitely recommend this store.

I had another excellent experience buying an outdoor umbrella for my porch and an entertainment center for my bonus room. Salesman, Lee Smith, helped me, and did not pressure me into anything. I was a great process and I was in/out of the store in under an hour. He showed me the things I was interested in seeing, and did not try to get me to look at things that were not on my list. It was another awesome experience and I’d again recommend Ashley Furniture and Lee Smith to anyone! Great place, great people, and with COVID-19, they are making it secure to shop. All employees are wearing masks, and no more than 10 people in the building . I think I was the only customer there for the first 30 minutes. It made an uncertain time feel stress free!!! I have been an Ashley furniture customer for 15 years! And I paced a layaway about 1 year ago as I recently relocated here. I appreciate the extra time given to pay in full. The problem came a week ago when. I paid off the order through there new on line portal. Within an hour I received confirmation of payment received. Great. I called to schedule my deliver (which was told should only be 5-10 business days) w well , within 4 days, 1 hour hold time, conveniently disconnected and no one tried to call me back. I was told my order was still I. Lay-away status 3 days later. And no one in the call center could change that to paid in full to be released for scheduled delivery ( wait what?!?!) apparently, I now had to wait for the person who sent me the email portal to change that status ?!?! What kind of circus show is this ? Now day , 4 I finally got a hold of someone at the store as I was done with the rude call center agents. Who happen to be the store manager, she finally placed my order In the correct status “paid” which now could be placed to be delivered. Unfortunately the closest delivery date is not until a month later . Please either re-train your call center agents to effectively service customers thoroughly or find a more seem less Business Practice that eliminates this level of stress and awful customer service to folks whom already under so much stress. A special thank you to the Store Manager who at the very least apologized, refunded the delivery fee and finally made this awful experience a better one for now. Fingers crossed until delivery date. Best

Today my daughter and I visited Ashley's HomeStore.We were greeted with a warm welcome from a sale associates. She offered her assistance and help to make our visit most meaningful. As we broused and found a number of items we loved. Another sales associate came to us to let us know that our original sales person had to step away, but he was there to assist us in any way. In walking around the store we met several other associates that spoke to us and ask if they could help in anyway. I work 2 jobs and happen to be of this evening. I felt so special to have been treated with so much care. My daughter found a deal on an ottoman. I also wanted one as well. They went out of the way to make me happy. They walked to floor to find my Jewell. I found another one that had a small flaw. The manager cut the price in half just for me. I had all of this attention and felt like a million bucks. I plan on retiring from the Davidson County Sheriffs Office the end of this year and buying my dream home. I will be back to furnish my home. Thank you so much for making us feel like the only customers in your store today. And having special time with my daughter on my evening off. You guys are awesome! The sales agent was nice enough but seemed a little distracted and there were a few mistakes on the paper work that had to be fixed but overall I think he was trying and maybe just new. It would be nice if there were more options for delivery thank just 1 day a week in the area that I am moving to. It was informative but a little bit off putting to hear about a delivery guy being high and forgetting to put the bolts in a piece of furniture recently

Wish I read the reviews before I set foot in that store. Ashley is typically a reputable store but the issues I received In Goodlettsville are inexcusable. Two days ago I received my Marcilona Counter Island which i purchased a week prior for over 988 (not including tax) only to find out the price had been reduced by time the furniture arrived. Upon arrival the drivers rushed the piece inside and left without ample time to review the furniture for defects. Based upon theirs actions we should of known the furniture was defective. Taking a quick review we noticed a large scuff on the surface then while trying to flag the drivers down to notify them their were issues that need to be corrected it was noted that not only were they in hurry to drop off defective furniture, they were in a hurry to get off property before I noticed larger ruts in yard at my new house. I caution you all to review the entire piece of furniture before you let the drivers leave. There is zero interest from them in making sure you get a quality product in new condition. As for the piece of furniture from Ashley it was noted that a good portion of the hardware is missing as well as the cabinet doors are misaligned and the interior shelves are damaged with exposed splinters and large scuffs. To date I have called Ashley three times and I have zero resolution. Initially they wanted to send a tech out but the damage is too great to fix with a couple screws. The property damage folks are allowed 72 hours to call when after they trash your yard or damage your property and that is unacceptable. I have demanded a new piece to replace the current furniture but scheduling of the delivery is now a roadblock. Evidently only Thursday’s are available and that’s not sufficient especially since we have already taken work off once for the initial delivery. I have told them either Friday or Saturday are options and based upon reading the countless other negative reviews I’m not sure I will even hear back. Should this not get resolved I will first contact the BBB and my second call will be to an attorney. I have property damage and I expect repairs or compensation and I also expect a new piece of furniture along with a delivery date that meets our schedule. Again cannot recommend purchasing furniture from this store. Read the reviews first as they seem to have unresolved issues internally that the customers must encounter. The only positives experience was the customer service reps that filed my claim. Three times. Let’s please get this resolved!

Don't go to that place people their are deceiving i purchased 2 peices from their and financing on a year and asked them more than 4 time it will be a hard checking or soft they told me yes it will be soft checking we ask the manager sure will be soft just 3 or 4 points maximum after that i found it's a hard checking with 14points from equifax and 25 from transunion on my account please don't go to that place don't purchase anything from that untrusted place and people After your reply and no action taken and no one called us to solve the problem, so let's do it officially and legaly through the customer affairs thank you for no reply for not respecting customers or helping them it will be the last time to purchase anything from your company at all

My family and I have been searching for new living room furniture for awhile. I came into the store just looking around for some ideas and had a wonderful associate Courtney that helped me along the way. I showed up the next day with husband and kids and showed them what I liked. We left with a sectional that was completely different then what I had my mind to start with. The sectional is unbelievably comfortable and beautiful in store and I can’t wait for it to show up at my house. Courtney was a blessing and went along with all my questions and helped with my uncertainties at the beginning.

STAY AWAY PLACE NO TRUST AND PEOPLE NO TRUST This is no excuse to DECEIVE your customers to sell your merchandise Yes your quality is good but to be not clear with customers and hide informations is NOT a professional way Here is a short long story , I ASKED 4-5 Times how finance will effect on credit score? the manager and sales representatives confirmed 4-5 TIMES as well that its SOFT inquiries because its important to know so HERE IS THE RESULT FOR YOUR BADLY AND FALSE AND LYING INFORMATION SO IS SORRY NOW WILL FIX THIS SHAM ON YOU , NO SATISFIES ,NO RECOMMEND IS YOUR APOLOGIZE WILL FIX MY CREDIT SCORE!!!! NO MAKE SENSE

I visited Ashley Home Store today looking for a new sofa. The sales person that worked with me was Austin Winfree. He was knowledgeable about everything we talked about which included sofa, tables, mattresses. He was very patient with me because I could not make up my mind on what I wanted as far as a sofa and color. I did purchase a sectional sofa from Austin today. He is a good employee. Diane Thomas
