Customer service was alright but delivery is some bs! My daughter waited at home all day for them to say they missed us. Noone came to the door to deliver or anything. She kept calling and couldn't even get anyone to answer the phone. Moved delivery for another 4 days. Won't be ordering again!

If I could give zero stars I would. My wife and I visited the store on a Saturday morning to try to find a new loveseat for our living room. We told the sales girl we wanted to look on our own and not to have her hovering over us. We would let her know if we need anything. She politely walked away But soon after another sales girl walked up I told her the same thing she said well Ashley wants us to talk to the customers. I was like well I am the customer and I do not want to talk to you right now. She continued to tell me about company policy and that she wanted to keep her job. I said well you just lost a sale and we’re walking out.BEWARE OF SALES STAFF THAT WILL NOT LEAVE YOU ALONE TO LOOK WITHOUT DISTRACTIONS.

All in all my experience was good, the the sales personnel was very nice and knowledgeable.Delivery went very well I have been trying since I bought the sofa to talk to someone about the cushions with no results. I called the store and another number that said they would send me an email and noone ever got back to me. I worked from home and couldn't get there before closing hopefully someone will contact me after this.The pillows are extremely soft. I wanted to change them for firmer ones

The service in the store wasn't terrible, as long as they know you are spending money. However, things change once you run into a problem (them delivering damaged furniture). Then, nobody seems to be able to help & customer service goes down the drain. It was bad business all across the board from the store to the warehouse/delivery drivers to the customer support reps. Ashley's did a terrible job handling this situation & I had no help from the store when it came to a resolve.

If you happen to be shopping for furniture, ypu would be remissed if you didn't go by this place. Additionally, you must ask for a young man named Kelby. This young man was so helpful, knowledgeable and polite. Very respectful young man. He helped me pick out the perfect recliner for my mom. This recliner original price was over $1100.00 and I was able to get it for more than 50% off.

I entered the Ashley store in Memphis and was greeted by Jessica. After telling her what I was looking for, she guided me to the furniture which fit my needs and fully explained each piece. I was able to quickly choose a beautiful sofa sleeper. The dining tables which I liked however came with chairs which I did not like. Jessica immediately searched for items not on display and we found a beautiful table & chair set all at affordable prices. Jessica is great! She is professional, friendly and familiar with all the Ashley stock. I can't wait till my furniture arrives

Wrong size mattress delivered with queen size bedroom. Received a full size instead of queen. No one seems to be able to correct it, sad service.

If you want to have a terrible experience, go to the Ashley outlet In Memphis and ask for keke. She has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. We walked in and within five minutes we had walked out. She does not want the customer to decide. She wants to decide so that she can collect on her commission, Why some people choose customer service I will never understand. We gladly went someplace else.

Would give 0 if I could. Just let people look around. There’s no valid reason 3 people asked us in the span of (probably less than) 5 minutes our names and what we needed. No means no! Let us browse in peace!!!! First time, it was ok, sales routine, I get it. Second was very pushy and annoying. Third was on our way out & solidified that we will never be back. Laughed at how ridiculous it was. Just accept that people are just looking & get off our backs, and you might have had some customers.

These people absolutely refuse to let you just look around the store. I was in for maybe 3 minutes had 2 managers 1 employee ask me my name email phone number what we are looking for. We left because we were getting harassed.

The shopping experience took only 20 minutes. However, the check-out process was horrible and took over 30 minutes for nine home accessory items. There was no help or support from other free staff in an empty store with no other customers to help the sales associate. If the error was on the associate or maybe a bad POS, there was no need to have the customer (us) stand that long and suffer the long wait. I'm a Director of a retail merchandiser. This would never happen. I hope this gets the attention it needs.

Initially put my order in on the 18th. The salesperson and assistant store manager failed to put the financing paperwork through waited 3 weeks on a sofa chaise that was never put in. Called the 1800 to check the status of my delivery and the CSR asked me to make a payment. I’ll explain to her that the purchase was financed and she told me that the financing paperwork was waiting on a signature, but I had the paperwork with the signature in front of me. I then called the store and spoke with the store manager, who was checking to see if the delivery could be made any sooner and he would call me back. I never received a call back. I finally spoke with him two days after the initial call and he claimed that he called back and couldn’t reach me. So. No resolution was made and now I don’t have furniture because I sold my sofa chaise

Didn't get the price promise. Computers were down so no receipt. We call back several times to get email receipt. They were suppose to call back in an hour for price adjustment, a day later and we have not heard from them

I had a terrible experience with Ashley Outlet Memphis. I bought a dresser and an end table. Both were perfectly fine in the store. I pulled out drawers and pulled the items away from the wall to see all sides - everything was fine. I did not however, take any pictures of the items in the store (my mistake). When the items arrived at my house, one of the legs on the dresser was completely snapped off. The delivery driver said it was in that condition when he got it from the store and even showed me a video he had taken. I then spent weeks communicating with Ashley support trying to get someone to come out and repair the damage. They have since ghosted me - no response to emails or phone calls. I will never buy from this store again and I will never recommend that anyone purchases from this store.

Mr. Bobby Ballantine at the Summer location was very patient with me. He took time out to help me pick an item that I would adore. He informed me about my options to finance as well the options I could choose from with the approval amount. He was very professional and made sure that I left a happy customer. Helpful personnel and not pushing.

I bought a recliner and two leather couches. The fact that they left me alone and let me shop until I was ready, was great. Didn’t make me feel pressured at all. My sales rep, Darrell Hagan, was really nice. Offered discounts on everything I bought without me having to haggle. Hopefully nothing changes. My delivery is scheduled for a week from now. I’ll update my feedback next week.

Bobby was very helpful in showing us the available pieces in the showroom, and he got us squared away with our purchase in under 5 minutes after we finally made a decision on a sectional. Darrel made the pickup process very smooth and simple on the following day. I didn’t catch their names, but the two men who helped load the pieces were friendly and energetic. Would recommend shopping here to anyone looking for a great deal on furniture!

The establishment was clean and staff were helpful, but the furniture here is very expensive. We have been shopping around multiple furniture stores and this one was the most expensive of them all. I saw a sign on a dresser that said $69 and thought it was a very great deal only to find out it was the price for a small vase on the dresser and not for the dresser itself. 😅 we didn't buy anything here. Macy's has better prices.

3 weeks into having my new bed it broke. It’s been 8 MONTHS since this happened and I have consistently tried to get someone to come fix it. I’ve texted and called so many times to have people leave me on hold and hang up. I’ve sent pictures, opened a claim to no avail. It’s clear they are trying to push me past the 1 year warranty so they do not have to come fix it. I haven’t had a good nights sleep since due to my bed being caved in.

We bought floor model sofa, as we received the sofa. We felt the bad odor like dirty socks. We called customer service and explained the details. They were not helping and didn’t resolve the issue and hang on the phone. This was their supervisor, I requested him but he wasn’t helpful. You can contact. I’m not going to contact anymore with disappointed customer service.

My experience with Ashley was GREAT. Stefan was VERY NICE and kind! His customer service was the kind that I like, he knows how to treat the customer.

Had a little bit of trouble making a decision (because they have a huge selection) but once I finally did, the crew was so kind and fun to talk with. We were giggling and joking the whole time! It was a very easy process checking out, just a few signitures and some delivery talk, then I was out the door! Would definitely go back if I am ever in need of some more furniture. Found the perfect nightstand to match my dresser. Bobby and Kiki were very helpful and fun to talk to. They had a nice selection to choose from. I didn't feel pressured to buy anything. Pricing was affordable. Checkout was swift and easy. Would definitely recommend and return there for any future furniture.

Went in there strictly to look in the clearance section for nightstands. Found a great option - damaged (scratches and scuffs). Decent price but they could have went a bit lower considering the damage.

Awful customer service. My neighbor has asked for his couch to be delivered for over a month and no solution yet they have their money. Refuses to refund the money or deliver the couch. Do better Ashley furniture! I suggest going somewhere else to buy furniture if you actually want to receive the couch you pay for!!!!

On Saturday 05/20/2023.., approx 4pm with empty condo in high rise .. we went to Ashley. . We bought BETTER furniture for condo living room and kitchen from Gilbert and his associate, for 1/2 price..!!! PLUS, Ashley delivered it SAME DAY… UNHEARD of service . Whole process took 2 hours .. delivered. , 1/2! price… brand new furniture delivered to Midtown high rise by 6 PM . No hassle… NONE , plus Gilbert gave additional discount !!! Who , in Memphis does this . Wherever you THOUGHT of going … go c Gilbert at Ashley and don’t waste your time . We saved 2.5 K, same day delivery . Whole process took 2 hours. … on a Saturday.

Showroom was a bit disorganized but employees seemed honest and were surprisingly friendly and not overbearing while trying to shop for a new mattress. Ended up with an Ashley brand spring mattress that comes in a box. Received an additional discount off the floor price, so I felt I got a good value. So far pleased with the mattress quality.

Excellent customer service! I was seeking a clearance piece and on a hunch called to see if they had it. They did, but just one. It was 30 minutes before closing and would take me 20 minutes to arrive. Michelle said no problem, I’ll be ready to assist when you arrive. As the last customer minutes before closing I received the same care and attention expected during prime hours. The entire team was welcoming and friendly. Happy customer!

The buying experience was good, but the table came discolored on one side. A chair was partially discolored and a wood chip already in it. The delivery guys left without asking me anything or coming back to clean up. They left foam and cardboard on the floor and a sharp staple in the chair. I called Ashley to see if I could get a replacement chair and was put on hold for over 30 min. before I just hung up. I did finally get a supervisor on the line that ordered me a replacement part that should come in the mail. All in all, I will shop elsewhere from now on.

This is my second time buying from this and I am a little disappointed, I bought a cali king size bed but the bed has a damages on the wood as if it has been damaged for a while but it was sold to me as is so I have to keep it. Also the guy who loaded it into my husbands truck did not give us the rails that we paid $200 plus for.

The staff was attentive and explained all their deals and where I could locate clearance and more of their selection. They didn’t pressure me to make a purchase immediately- I wasn’t completely prepared when I first went by. I returned the next day to buy my dining room set and once again was met with patience and full details of what to expect.

I shopped at 4 different furniture stores while searching for a sectional. The Ashley Outlet on Summer was the cleanest and best stocked location I visited. They also had the nicest sales team. Jazmyn and Michelle got us a great deal, a speedy transaction, and even stayed after they were closed to let us finish our purchase. We will definitely be returning for our next furniture purchase! It was a very enjoyable furniture shopping experience.

We were looking for a large sectional and found exactly what we wanted. Jazmine was wonderful. Very friendly and knowledgeable but not pushy! Our sectional was delivered today and it’s exactly what we wanted! The only reason we gave Ashley 4 stars is due to the air conditioning being out in 100 degree heat for several days. It was not a pleasant shopping experience. Building management and corporate should be very thankful for such resilient staff. They should be rewarded for working in such conditions.

I was called 12 days ago that my headboard & footboard would be delivered the 25th the loveseat the 27th and they were at the outlet. Took off work ..NO delivery. Then told I was getting HB & FB today but when they came they ONLY had the HB. THEY lied again and only 1 pc furniture.no footboard. I cancelled the loveseat as I’ve been lied to and took off work for delivery. Lost money. Then today only one piece. I call the toll free Ashley # and cannot hear the supervisor on the phone this week or last week and hear kids screaming in the background and nobody to help to adjust my paperwork. Never EVER doing business with them again !! Now I have to wait for the footboard. Nobody’s cancelled the loveseat and I can’t get a manager with a CLEAR LINE TO TALK TO ME OR CALL ME BACK FROM THE OUTLET !!

My wife went to this location earlier in the day to find some furniture. She came across a couch/loveseat set that was missing a cushion, but it good shape and marked down for a good price. The store rep and at least one other worked with her to find the serial number so my wife could order the missing cushion if she decided she wanted the couch/loveseat combo. My wife came home and told me about the deal. We went back to the location to make the purchase, because they wouldn’t let my wife pay over the phone. When we arrived, we looked around for close to 40 minutes while the store rep prepared the purchase for us and researched the cost of some other items. When we went to check out, the bookshelf we wanted was “not in the inventory” and “couldn’t be added by anyone in the store”, so we “couldn’t buy it”. Next the store rep rang up the couch combo. After about 10 minutes, she told me that the couch had already been purchased and she couldn’t sell it to me. My wife asked where the manager was and she told my wife that he was gone, and hadn’t been in for a while. The store employees were unsure as to when the manager would come back. This was an overall ridiculous experience and I don’t recommend this store. The employee- Selina- who helped us was kind and seemed to want to take care of us, but was mostly unable too. She called us later and told us she had a brand new couch of the same design coming in at the end of the month and we could buy it for the same price as previously promised. We currently have no living room furniture (no where to sit) so we agreed. Prayerfully this works out for us…feel like we had to earn it…

This is the first place I go to when I am redecorating my house. I love the friendlies of the customer service. I love the selection thats available from beds to living room sets. They are not pushy, they are very knowledgable about the merchandise. The only downfall is the delay of receiving your items due to covid..... Which is no fault of theirs. I never enjoy shopping and with online purchases, you never know exactly what you're getting. This in-store experience was delightful. The sales associate, Zachary Brooks, was professional, patient and helpful. I am pleased with my purchase.

I will not refer this store to anyone else. I refered my nieghbor and her experience was just a bad as mine. I purchased a Kichen Island as is from the Ashley Outlet Store. I know it had some defects and I was ok with that. The first delivery date was canceled the evening before delivery. I did not get a call it was in my text message on my phone and I did not see it until I had been at home and was wondering why my delivery did not come all day. I reschedule the delivery and this time it had extra damage on the bottom like someone tried to pick it up with a forklift and took a chunk of would out. I refuse the delivery and went back to the store as advised on phone call to Ashley customer service. The store told my it was as is. I said I know but the damage was made from moving from store to warehouse to my house somewhere in between. On the phone call to AShley customer service they said I should have completed a walk around furniture form to disclose defects. This process was not completed during purchase and they could not find it in my file which they searched. The store manager told me we have another one in the store but you will have to pay two hundred more dollars for that one. I refused to pay extra and they canceled my account and gave me my money back. The part that really upset me was that I purchased the bars stools with cash at the store and the Island on an account. They told me they could not take the barstools back because I bought them at clearance and as is also. Now I have two barstools that don't match anything in my house and not Island. Please do not go to this store they are the worse people to deal with from delivery to customer service. My neighbor went the same week and purchased a mattress and an Island to her experience was just as bad. The first delivery they brought the Island with one bar stool and no mattress. I have even tried to reach out to upper management/ corporate and there is not number and I keep getting derailed. Please choose your furniture store carefully because they are not professional. I had a cousin who I recommended and I had to tell her stop no do not go. Purchase at your own buyer's beware.

We loved the Ashley store, but their outlets is a totally different story. The place was not clean. The staff barely spoke to us or acknowledged we were there. We had to listen to the music on their phone and their gabbing the whole time we were in store. It was not well kept or managed. I am sure we could have found something that day, but they were not ready to make a sale.

I'm giving them a five-stars because of the customer service, and I truly hope within 6 to 8 weeks I will have my bedroom set so that I won't have to request my money back, the only thing you guys need to get better at is having what people need in stock when people come out to buy it's because they need it or want it now not in 6 to 8 weeks, but as I stated the customer service is great.

My husband and I don’t get off work until 6:00 and didn’t get to the store until 6:30 and they close at 7:00. We expected to be ambushed as soon as we walked in but Michelle was awesome! She gave us space to look around but was close by to answer questions. We never felt rushed or pressured and we got an awesome deal as well!

Carvin helped me and my fiancé when buying our bedroom furniture today and he was AMAZING! Considering me and my fiancé are complete opposites when it comes to what we like. If I could give no stars I would. My boyfriend and I went the 2nd week of January looking for a 3 piece living room set. We did enjoy the experience with Ken and Carvin as sale reps, but that was the only positive experience. I was told my love seat and couch would be ready feburary 3rd and the recliner ready closer to the end of February. I called on feburary 3rd to pick up the loveseat and couch in which I was told all 3 items would be ready feburary 15th, but they are closed on sunday and monday that I could come the 16th. I called the 16th and was told the items weren't being shown until march 14th for pick up then was transferred several times for another person to tell me they would be ready feburary 25th. I am unsure how the dates change so drastically throughout each person. I was also told I was being provided free delivery then was told I had to pick it up so it has been an extremely terrible experience. I dont understand how there are several different operators working for this company all showing different information. I still have yet to receive my furniture. I am told I can pick it up on the 27th of February, but I am sure that will change. I was also told it could be delveried free for March 3rd, but I am scared if I dont just pick it up the dates will change again as they have for several weeks now. Very disappointing location. I highly recommend to never use this store. They seem great when visiting the location, but the process of actually getting the product has been the most complicated and unprofessional experience.

They order the furniture to the store but then sell it to other customers and do not hold it for us. You need to find furniture? This store has it! Whether it's on the floor or they order it for you... it's no problem! VERY Sweet Customer Service... VERY Sweet Sales Representatives... If I need it again? That's where I'm going!

The staff was friendly and courteous. Alex served me and gave a good balance of attention and space. He answered my questions with patience (I had a lot). Other staff was also helpful. They even price matched the dining room set I wanted with their online price. Yes, I'd recommend it!

CARVIN WAS THE GUY THAT WORKED WITH ME AND HE WAS AWESOME AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. I WENT IN ON 18TH JUST TO LOOK, WHEN CAME BACK TODAY HE REMEMBERED US. EVERYONE WAS VERY NICE AND PROFESSIONAL. THANKS SO MUCH.

Unless you are paying for the furniture up front this is not a good option. The company just gives you the run around the prices are ok. But they charge a 6 dollar fee with every payment you make they don't let you modify the auto payment to pay more than the amount on auto pay. This is all done to keep you from paying off the 90 day same as cash price. After the 90 days you price doubles the original price. So I say if you paying in full this is a good option otherwise don't do it.

Ashley Homestore Outlet on Summer Ave. has excellent salespeople, courteous, and patient. The prices are low for great quality items. At an outlet, of course, some items are not in perfect condition, but nonetheless there's something there for nearly every taste.

Salesperson Chris was difficulty to deal with but Manager Jamie made everything right in the end. Just took time to get there

NEW EDIT: Ultimately, I was contacted and the issue was resolved. The main reason I edited my review in the first place was... No one would return my calls. Had someone called and provided an update to the situation, there would have been no problems. So in a nutshell, the salesman was very helpful while I was there, and the couch is awesome. Follow up on the customer service was... lacking... OLD EDIT: At this point, I am editing my review. The salesman was supposed to be arranging a delivery by a third party delivery service, and it was supposed to be delivered today or tomorrow. I have heard nothing from the delivery service, I cannot find their contact information, and neither the salesman not anyone from the outlet is returning my phone calls.

I love going to this Ashley’s location! The associates are very helpful and always help me find what I am looking for. I have made several purchases and I am very pleased with all of the items.

My experience was Great, Excellent. My original Salesman was Chris, he was very busy and pleasant so I went next door and returned and he was still busy with someone different. I had the pleasure of working with Salesman Carlos which in all fairness I informed him that Chris was my initial Salesman and I didn't want to take any commission away from him if there was any. Carlos went to Chris and let him know that I was back and Chris gave him the go ahead to help me and they both got commission. Over all everyone including myself were happy with the way things turned out. Those two young men made visit to the Summer store worthwhile. Kudos to Chris and Carlos. Sincerely Lisa Weaver

I had a really good experience here with sales associate Chris! I came in a few times undecided about a dresser based on sizing and store ware- he measured it for me, helped me decide if it would fit in my home and he went out his way to adjust the drawers for me to make sure I was comfortable with it prior to purchase. I went to 7 different stores looking to find a couch, everything was on back order due to the Covid pandemic, said it would take up to 10 weeks before I could get a couch. Luckily I went to Ashley outlet on Summer Avenue and this awesome sales lady, named Jamie, who helped me get a sofa so my kids would have a place to sit comfortably while they do their virtual learning. Been all over town looking for a lift top coffee table that was under 300. Finally came here and they had several to choose from with far better quality than other local stores. I was even able to take it home same day a lot of places wouldn’t sell any items off their floors but I was able to get my coffee table

I came into the store to see if they had a particular bed in store that I can view in person. Michelle was my salesperson. Not only did she have the bed her personal customer service was top-notch. I had a great experience with the sales ppl at this location. They were very helpful in a few ways when it came down to what I want. She took me around after listening to what I was interested in did the measurements offered advice Didn’t rush me and the price adjustment was the best lol.
