This is the third time in the last 18 months I have worked with Tim Conley @ Ashley and you’re not going to find anyone in Memphis who provides a better customer experience. As long as he is with Ashley, they have my business.
I always find something I like at this location. The customer service and sales team are extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
I have no complaints about the staff they’ve done their jobs. But I bought two recliners for my elderly parents , neither one works properly. I wasn’t there to receive delivery and my parents in the mid eighties didn’t know. You can’t close them with your legs. So when my parents sit in chairs they can’t recline because they can’t get out of the chairs. Ashley says they don’t do returns even though the recliners don’t work. Be aware!! I’ve now had recliners going on 3 weeks waiting for parts which can take 2to 4 weeks. Then I have to contact them again to schedule service. What a nightmare.

Timely delivery and professional delivery staff.
Initially went in just to look at the new mattresses. We talked with an employee by the name of Mike, who was very nice and communicative and also the manager. The manager was really couraging of the Tempurpedic and when we left, he seemed a little disappointed that we didn’t end up purchasing one. But we came back and spoke with the employee, Mike, again and he was still very nice and understanding that we wanted something cheaper and we also got a dining room set too. I actually really liked the Tempurpedic. In a perfect world, I would’ve actually went with it but as a young couple, it wouldn’t have been very reasonable at this time. But I’m glad we stuck with Mike and that he didn’t make it awkward or anything. I know they make commission and it’s really important to sell the fancy expensive mattresses. Personally, I feel like older more established groups would really gravitate to Tempurpedic. Younger groups not so much because it is a pretty hefty price tag, ya know?

When I entered the store, I was greeted by Robin who was very cordial. I told her what I wanted and with her help, my selection was quick and simple.
TJ is so patient and pleasant. He is truly involved with serving the customer and as we walked through the store he would perfect any little detail out of spot in the at management would. Very professional indeed!

My experience at this location was horrible. The sales rep cheyenne was pushy and borderline rude. I went in with the intention of purchasing a sofa and bed. I ended up only purchasing the sofa and decided to purchase the bed somewhere else due to the horrible customer service experience. The only reason I went to this location was because they were the only store with the item that I wanted. During check out I was constantly interrupted and shiane could not focus for 2 minutes without talking into the mic every 10 secs. Sales rep was visibly annoyed and mannerism changed when I decided to only purchase 1 item. The entire experience was very hostile and anything but a pleasure. This was my first and last time shopping at this location . I have more items that I need to purchases for my home, however I will be visiting other locations or different furniture stores due to the horrible customer service experience.
I think Bader did a pretty decent job with helping me to find what I wanted. I was also pleased that he gave me the online prices. However, I was really concerned that the total price online wasn’t the same as the total price in the store. It almost made me want to go elsewhere and/or order online. If the online price varied that much, it should’ve been stated on the website. I plan to call the corporate office and speak with them about it because had I known that the total price was different within the store, I would’ve never gone there.

Our sale person wasn’t very knowledgeable about furniture deliveries, had to contact a delivery person they use to set up a date for delivery and salesman didn’t convey that we were going to have two separate deliveries. and I would never use Ashley Delivery again! Never! Furniture not the best quality it’s overpriced and not great quality. The woman in mattress department was very pushy and condescending. Staff are not very cordial, no one in the store was friendly. Not a good or great experience and want ever purchase from them again. No to mention furniture was damaged during delivery and delivery person still tried to hide the damage. So Nope!!!

Pleasant experience
Absolute worst experience ever. Bought 2 sets of furniture and told them MULTIPLE times that we would pick it up the next day (today). They made a point to tell us for the furniture we purchased , it had to be picked up within 72 hours. We arrived and everyone acted surprised that we were there to pick up. Apparently the guy that helps loads the furniture walked out in the middle of his shift yesterday (i now have a feeling why he quit). We then were told we would have to wait for some people to arrive to help load up. We also couldn’t use the sliding doors because of the counter that they were so concerned about. Tried the side door, wouldn’t fit. Both of the 2 lousy salesman’s that tried to act like they were helping, didn’t want to get wet in the rain BUT if the furniture was ready to be picked up when we told them ample times that we would be there today to get it, no one would’ve gotten wet. The man that was wearing a mask kept telling me to relax and they would handle it. That was not the case at all. I had every right to be frustrated when we could have avoided the rain if they would have kept their word. We then were told to pull around the back and load up from the loading dock so we’d did and waited another 30 minutes just for someone to open the door. We then loaded every piece of furniture that we purchased yesterday by ourselves with no help from anyone like we were promised. Clearly all of these people were just worried about the sales of people coming in instead of taking care of the people that just spent $5000 on furniture. I’m assuming the guy was just trying to be a security guard for the back door as he sat in the chair and watched us load and unload everything. Cheyenne was our salesperson and wasn’t even present during the purchase of our furniture. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They did a great job of making us feel like our money didn’t matter to them after we signed our paperwork. I will not ever recommend Ashley to anyone moving forward as i was already very skeptical of using them from the previous horror stories i was told about. Maybe the furniture warranty will be worth it if it gets ruined from the rain.

Delivered my bed frame with missing rails, which are still missing and pushed the delivery of my dresser to another whole week, which hopefully when it does come, it has all the pieces unlike my bed frame, first time customer, very bad experience

Had some issues with a previous company who kept giving us the run around about our living furniture. Went to Ashley’s and talked to Lacassia who me & my husband had a previous conversation with. She was very helpful and still had the furniture that we were originally interested and wanted in stock. She made the process so smooth and provided different finance options to get what we needed and wanted. I would recommend working with her or anyone in Ashley’s for furniture services

I would love to give this store 5 stars. Picking out furniture here was great. I walked in a was greeted by Dana who knew much more than I expected. She was very kind and knowledgeable about every question that I had concerning the dining room sets and sleep mattresses. After speaking with Dana for about 30 minutes I was set on the dining room set to purchase. After walking out of the store to find that my car and two others had been broken into I was quite upset initially. But after finding out this had happened on several other occasions to customers and 3 times in the same parking lot to the manager I was infuriated. The store owner in my opinion doesn't care enough about the safety of the customers and more importantly the employees that are there daily. Please hire security for these workers. I couldn't imagine having to worry about going to work on top of fearing for my safety daily.
Our sales person was available when I needed her, but she didn’t hover. When I was ready to purchase, she worked with me to get the price right, and I then purchased it.
I had ordered a sofa online from Ashley and the order was canceled. I went to the Ashley store here and Jaylon was very knowledgeable and showed me what I was looking for and placed my order for me. Jaylon was so awesome to work with.

As soon as I walked in the door I was pleasantly greeted by Dana. She asked me what I was looking for I told her and also my price range. She took me straight to the mattresses and pointed out which ones best fit my budget. She helped me with the financing and answered all of my questions. Excellent customer service from Dana. I was in and out in less than an hour and was able to pick up my merchandise the same day.

I called about some furniture that I have seen on the website and spoke with Mr..Spencer (I may be incorrect with the name) but he was able to tell me that the furniture was not in the store however I could order it from online and the questions that I had about the furniture he was able to answer and then he sent me the form online so that I could fill it out and place the order. He called me to ensure that I had received the form and the first time I didn’t and he sent it. The second time called me back and that time I did receive the form I placed the order and now I’m awaiting my furniture. Very pleased with how that process went it was very easy to fill out the form and place the order
Cheyenne greeted me first. She was great and knowledgeable of the store and all things in it. She allowed me to shop & periodically checked in. When I was ready to checkout, I was serviced by Jon who was just a great. Overall, the team was very pleasant. At some time or another, I was greeted by most employees in the store during the time I went. Their interactions with one another and other customers were pleasant.

I spent $23,000+ on my tempurpedic mattresses with pro adapt bases along with an entire bedroom set and a dining set… My experience with the previous Manager, Wally and his staff and most importantly the delivery truck drivers was nothing but terrible and doesn’t even deserve a single star for how many times I had to go to the store addressing my issues… Ashley truck drivers literally smoke weed while on duty and even damaged my property when attempted to do their deliveries. Ashley corporate reimbursed me for the damages later on.. I also encountered whole lot of delivery delays to a point one of my mattresses delivery got postponed 8 times.. I got told later Wally no longer works there and a new manager TJ took over.. Wally, the old manager lied about everything and the whole experience was nothing but shady with him.. This man TJ however is amazing…TJ totally changed my terrible Ashley experience into a completely positive one.. Very professional and attentive. Hope under this new manager Ashley will offer better customer satisfaction.

I bought a love seat and it arrived damaged. The guys who delivered took a picture that couldn’t show the picture and left. I called the store, they said they would fix it or change it, and then after I received the good item, I would be charged. Two months later, I still have the damaged item and I’ve received two bills so far. I called the store and they told me to call their bank. Nothing was solved. It seems that no one cares about my situation. I have a damaged item and two bills that I haven’t paid which may impact my credit score. I regret so much the day I entered that store.
Ms. Holcomb, came to us as we were simply looking. She wasn't intrusive, or aggressive. She was patient, highly informed, and very helpful. Ms. Holcomb made us comfortable and treated us as if we were family. My wife and I are now very excited about our new purchase.

My experience with this location was less than satisfying. I was sold a bed not in the best condition was promised that 75.00 would be deducted due to a spot on the bunker drawer and it never was. Also they left off a rail called back to be to told that they did not when I went to store they gave me a broken rail and never deducted anything for that. Spoke with store manage who then said he would discount Only to lie again. Had so high hopes in Ashley's but this brakes All deals of future business. Will be reaching out to corporate to share all pictures taken the day of purchase in the store per I gave them time to rectify bill.Reached out to claims in regards to bed not setting right was told they sold me a Cali King bed but King mattress. They said they could not take bed back and that those mattress does fit...I spoke to rudest people Ms. Holcomb and she went back and fwd also spoke to manger Walle he promised to fix but never did. Called back he had quit and now dealing with store manager Thomas he said he would help but did not. Called spoke with corporate Maria who tried to get to the bottom of why I was sold a Cali King and King mattress after a week of debate she got an order for Cali matress. No apologies from salesperson who was rude or the store manager. This is so terrible finally got mattress had to buy a new foundation per thought I needed a king at first just a waste of money bed is of poor quality per it was missing bolts and broken slack. I do Not recommend this location. Period. UPDATE. The same bed I pd over 900 for ends up total waste we still cannotl lay it without breaking down. Now I have to pay a bed off for my credit sake that I never used per I bought it as is that I complained about the very next day and was pushed aside. Wrong screws broken panels and All. A real mess.

My visit to Ashley this afternoon was to buy a chair for my spare BR. I settled for one seen on the website last week. Your sales associate, Cheyenne, did a "price-match." Transaction went well.
Getting waited on. I was told to look around, that they had one person in front of me. Then as the salesmen was waiting on me, he showed me 1 thing and i told him thats not what I wanted, then another customer who came in after me, had starting asking about furniture and I was pushed aside. After waiting for a few minutes, he started giving them pricing on what they wanted. I got tired of waiting, and walked out. A nice lady asked me if I found what I was looking for as I was leaving. I told her no, and I was very disappointed. I was shown nothing.
Visited this location and I must say the customer service was exceptional. I was assisted by 3 members who were all professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I definitely had a great shopping experience and would recommend to a friend or family member.

My name is Dana Beverly. I visited the Southaven store twice last month. My first visit I met With Kat. Who was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. We went over some number for a sectional. I told Her to let me think about it. I returned a week later and learned she had been transferred to another store. I was Then greeted by Beth… Asked if she could help me I told her no because I was just looking. I referred her to my husband who was picking out a bed. He also told her that he was just looking. I saw A familiar face and stated she is who also helped me last week with Kat. I proceeded to walk over to the piece of furniture with the rep. My husband took a seat on a bed the manager and 2 other reps were sitting at a table Beth made a comment regarding me not knowing my husband was still sitting there. She spoke openly on an open floor derogatory terms and stated that “I was Going to get mine’ my husband intervened asked who was she speaking of she responded and stated she was sorry. I walked Over and asked what was going on my husband explained and also learned the manager sat there and allowed her to speak that way about a customer whom she had never met a day in her life. That’s called Disparate Treatment! Her words were cruel and racially motivated. All of this because of a sale! I’m not sure if she was having a bad day or if this kind of behavior is tolerated but to sit up and speak call names and belittle someone because of commission is disgusting. The manager never asked her to leave off the floor he didn’t tell her to stop he allowed it! Because this made me feel extremely uncomfortable we left without buying anything and went to another store and purchased the set from the Memphis location when in fact I shouldnt Have patronized Ashley Furniture after that treatment ! I havent Decide if I will Yet file a complaint with the FFEIC or CFPB or anyone else why Is it ok for your store to treat people like that?
Shopping at Ashley Furniture today was a good day. By this I mean I was not followed around while I was browsing. I was acknowledged when I walked in and I was pointed in the direction I was looking for by Cheyenne. She escorted me to the elevator and she said she would be back to check on me. She gave me time to look around, sit down and gather my thoughts as to what I wanted to purchased. When I was ready, I called her name and she came to my assistant. I told her what I wanted and we proceeded from there. The staff worked with me to make sure I got what I wanted and we did my paperwork and from there I was out the door on my way home. Well done Cheyenne, Dana and Lacassia, they were all very helpful and professional.

Sales lady was nice, the delivery was not so much, I had them to leave it in my garage because I was painting the bedroom that my granddaughter was going to be staying in, I took the bed up to put together and there was a leg missing, I called the store, but no answer, only recording to purchase, check status or warranty, left vice message to call me about missing part, left txt message to sales person and email, no answer to any request, so I drive 20 miles to the store to complain about my delivery, they gave me a leg to get me by till I could get the part that matched the bed, call customer service to report this issue, the customer service lady took care of me, shipping new part or parts, after I get home to put the bed up, find out that I was missing another part, my point being, when I spend close to $1000 on a bed, I would expect for it to be complete, I could have ordered it from a local furniture store here in my hometown and would not gave been charged a delivery fee, like I said earlier the customer service rep at the 800 number, took care of me the way I should have been at the store, thus the three stars!

He and his manager listened to me and patiently answered all of my questions. They both offered support throughout the purchase as well as assuring me they will assist through delivery.

Customer service that was given by Ashley Store was acceptable. The sale person was very polite. When I received my bunk bed set from the warehouse, it had a piece of wood missing that fit underneath the bottom bunk bed. It also had a note inside the box telling another employee to stop taking his/het parts. I contacted a listed number from paper work that I received from Ashley and reported the missing part. I was told that it was going to be.sent to.me by mail . That was in Nov. 2023. It's Jan. 2024, I still haven't received the missing piece of wood.

I will refer her to my family and friends in the future. Please train Cheyenne better, she was trying to sell me a box spring and mattress. She was trying to force me to use my credit. When I told her I would come back to pay in cash she got upset and ask “What’s wrong with using credit? ” This is non of Cheyenne business. I will be purchasing my mattress and boxspring somewhere else.

Just bought a sofa and loveseat at this location. The sales associates were friendly and not pushy. They answered my questions, and I had a seemingly good experience. **(Ashley's response to this review is based on these two sentences, but below is my update which greatly lowered my rating.) The furniture delivery crew were friendly and did a good job. At the conclusion of the delivery, there was some discussion over the model number which was quickly resolved. However after delivery when i pulled up the model number and looked on the store website, my opinion of Ashley changed. I was lured in by a "New Years sale" and even watched the sales associate apply the 25% discount. However 5 days after i bought my furniture, their website price is cheaper than i paid with a 25% New Years sale discount. Making your customers feel like they got screwed is not a good way to get repeat business.

I initially purchased a room furniture from Ashley in December 2023 and was very satisfied, so I left a positive review. However, my experience quickly turned negative due to the issue with dresser. First, the delivery was extremely late, arriving in March. The first dresser had a bug issue, likely Powderpost Beetle, which caused the wood to produce a white powder. I requested an exchange, and they delivered the second one in May. Unfortunately, this dresser had a broken leg. I requested another exchange, and today they delivered the third dresser. Upon inspection, it had a missing rail on the door, making it impossible to open or close properly. I am very disappointed with the service and quality. After six months, I still do not have a functional dresser. We also had issue with the bed, but they fixed it after some months. So, no more issues with the bed.

I can't believe the level of incompetence and disregard I experienced with Ashley Furniture's customer service. From start to finish, it has been an absolute nightmare. Firstly, the furniture I received was delivered in a damaged state. It was clear that no care was taken during the shipping process, which is completely unacceptable. I expected better from a supposedly reputable company. To rectify the situation, they sent someone to fix the damage. However, the technician arrived and claimed that he was told he would just be cleaning the furniture and had no ability to fix the massive hole and damaged internals from delivery. This just shows the lack of expertise and accountability within the company. But the incompetence doesn't end there. When I tried to schedule another technician, Ashley Furniture had the audacity to give me a wrong number. It's as if they were intentionally trying to do this. It's absolutely infuriating when a company can't even provide accurate contact information. And if all of that wasn't enough, they have now decided to completely ignore my attempts to reach out for a resolution. It's as if they think they can just sweep their mistakes under the rug and hope I go away. Overall, my experience with Ashley Furniture's customer service has been nothing short of a nightmare. From damaged furniture, to incompetent technicians, to providing incorrect contact information, and now ignoring my concerns completely, they have proven themselves to be utterly unprofessional and unreliable. I strongly advise against doing any business with Ashley Furniture if you value your time, money, and sanity.

As a customer it is a courtesy to speak and offer assistance when you arrive to a place a business for a potential sell. As I walked In several employees just looked without uttering a word. Another young lady said she had been waiting also and was deciding to leave due to being ignored as a customer . After speaking to someone the assistant manager did assist me and leveled up the rating from 1 star. He did give me a great deal. If it was not for him I would definitely not return and take the extra time to travel to Cordova location which on a previous visit was very welcoming.

New Update: They refused to cover the manufacture defect of the furniture because I'm its a few months over time. The insurance will not cover it stating that it was a manufacture defect. BOTTOMLINE DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. IM OUT OF $2000 FOR FURNITURE THAT IS CHEAP AND DEFECTIVE. Update: the whole drawer fell in...Ashley's Furniture is cheap. I've had my bedroom set for a year and all 10 draws are defective. I Had to do 2 claims already for the glue not holding the base. Their furniture is all sawdust and cheap glue. The quality of the set I was shown in store is not even remotely close to what I received. Please run and save your money. They don't have the quality they used to have back in the day.I will follow this up with pictures. Wish I could give zero stars.

My husband went into Ashley on Winchester rd in Memphis Tn and ordered over 10K worth of furniture to furnish our new home. It took over 3 weeks for the furniture to be delivered. Then when it finally got delivered all of our order was not on the truck. We are missing our living room set and our daughter dresser chest was damaged on the truck. We were told by the delivery guy he would put in a ticket for it to be replaced. We have been contacting customer service with Ashley and the only response we are getting is “ our system is down someone will contact you “ and when you call the store it just ring and then connects to a recording. It has been a month now and we still have not heard from anyone at Ashley furniture. We need our furniture or a complete refund. This is horrible customer service and a first time bad experience with your company.

We bought a couch from Ashley back in November 2022. It was defective from time of delivery. We contacted Ashley the next day. The chase side support was installed too low causing the legs to be raised too high. My wife and I have been passed around through the most awful customer experience for the past 7 months. They have sent outsourced furniture repair companies 3 times to examine and try to repair the furniture. The actual repair attempt 5 months after purchase. We alerted Ashley of the defective couch in November of last year. We've been sent to a warehouse for replacement cushions that Ashley sent. The warehouse couldn't locate the shipment. Months later, the second attempt was to try repair the bottom support. The repair tech finally gave up and said Ashley would need to replace the couch because it couldn't be repaired. Now Ashley doesn't have any record of this and they've closed the support ticket. We still have the defective couch. So please be aware that if you purchase furniture from Ashley, and it's defective, you should expect nothing but trouble. You should expect to spend hours on the phone with a series of third party vendors and there will be no communication between them and Ashley, not mention no communication with you the customer. You will have ZERO assistance from Ashley Furniture. This has been the worst customer service experience we've ever had.
I am SO glad I visited Ashley on Winchester. I had just a HORRIBLE experience with Royal Furniture, and was determined not to deal with them again. I found a better deal! The salesperson, Lacassia, was such a pleasure to work with.

I highly recommend you DO NOT purchase furniture from the Ashley Furniture store in Cordova Tennessee. We purchased 2 new sofas, dining room table and 10 chairs for the table. One chair came all scratched up, another chair the fabric was tore up, we were not given the cords to plug in couches in to the wall as they were auto recliners. And in the sofa the spring was broken and coming off in the back. We spent 10k at this store purchased warranty. 2 weeks later I am still trying to get my furniture replaced/fixed. I get a full run around. Customer service says to do one thing and call the store, the store is no help at all. They do not care about their customers at all and the satisfaction of the customer. Customer service said the store needed to give us a whole new couch and the store won't. I purchased batteries to make the couches not need the cords and the batteries are defective and die every 3 days, and they told me to bring them back but I don't have the cords to plug them in to wall cause they were not delivered with my couches. They said they would send an email to the warehouse and here I am with no cords yet.

I wish I could give 0 stars for their customer service. I bought the Keener ash sectional sofa, I received it with a BROKEN LEG, fabric PILLING all over and PATCHES at the bottom of the sofa. I called the customer care immediately and it took 3.5 months for a technician to show up. Even after the technician himself has reported that it is manufacturing defect, now the customer service team is proposing for another technician opinion when asked for a return/exchange. This is insane! Did not expect such POOR quality products and WORST customer service from Ashley.. Ashley products are good until we receive one!!!!!!!!! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM ASHLEY!!!!!!!!!!! Editing the review thinking this would benefit more people who are planning to buy Ashley products: 4/21/2023- Ashley customer service reached out but after multiple follow ups and for what- They are NOT even ready to open a service ticket for my case. Which new sofa would start pilling in the first week of use, Ashley's did and apparently they cannot do anything about it. So sad for a reputed company to NOT listen to what customer is saying and not bother about customer satisfaction. I have spent money and invested time in talking to these reps hoping for an exchange/replacement and they just replied they CANNOT do anything about it. Please DONOT buy anything from Ashley. Love most of our furniture. Our table was delivered and all 6 chairs are un-level. Some of them have floor savers and others don’t. One is cracked and the table itself got a scratch in it during transit or at the warehouse and instead of getting a new one they filled it in with sharpie. Super honest right?! Sticks out like a sore thumb. To top it all off they can’t send a tech home out until April 19th… nearly 2 months after purchase. Unmatched customer support…

Salesperson, Carlotta, wanted to be helpful but seemed to lack some product knowledge. After making our buying decision on bed frame, box springs and mattress we attempted to purchase a $239 mattress pad as a separate transaction and take it with us. We were told that we would have to come back to the store to pick item up, and it could not be delivered with the other items. That makes no sense for the buyer or seller. We will purchase it elsewhere. We do not understand why we pay you a delivery fee of $159.99 on a product we are buying from you. We would appreciate a logical explanation.

I am currently in contact with an attorney and willing to spend much more than my furniture is actually worth, due to morality and principle. I am 7 months in to a recliner delivery which was delivered damaged. I have all documentation. Buyer beware. Emma and Matt whom are managers of the Murfreesboro TN store will not answer or accept my calls, so I am forced into legal counsel.

Overall experience was okay. I had to initially ask to be help young entering the store by employees even though they observed us coming into the store. I have shopped with Ashley in numerous occasions and they provide prompt service when you enter into the store.

I paid over $3000 for a sofa, had the sofa delivered & they failed to send the cord to make the recliner work so I had to make a trip to pick it up. I had Rejoice as my sales lady and it took her all evening to close me out. Everyone was very nice while I was spending my money. I called Cheyenne to let her know that they did not send the plug with the sofa because she had given me her phone number. She told me to call the store the next day and someone would walk me through trying to make it work. I tried calling so many times I just gave up. No one would ever answer the phone. I called customer care to tell them the problem I was having and they put in a service ticket. I went back to the store to speak to the manager Waley who was very nice the day I was spending my money. They told me he was at lunch and I waited for him but he never came out. I called customer care to see if I could bring the sofa back, which they told me the day before I had 72 hours if I was not satisfied. They told me I could not bring it back but someone would call me Tuesday which is today to set a service appointment. I have not heard from anyone and I am ferocious. I am going to give them one more day and if I do not hear from them I am reporting Ashley’s to consumer affairs. I will never shop again at Ashley’s Winchester store and once I use the two certificates I have, I am completely done with any Ashley’s stores.
The Tempur-Pedic mattress rep was too fast to make a sale. She wasn't too friendly either. I don't see any reason to come back or even buy anything from them.

Not great. Salesman said he could give us a 25% discount if we spent $4,000. When we picked out the furniture, he then said he could only give us 20%. He then tried to sell us on the protection plan which was $700. Didn’t tell us he included that in the price until we noticed that the numbers were out of wack. When we told him to remove protection plan he then said that he could give us 25% off if we leave in the protection plan. Than he tried to tell us delivery was a few days out when it was actually 2 weeks out. Just not a good experience unfortunately.

the staff didn't seem like they were concerned about making a sale. My rep didn't go over my transaction at all. I blame myself for just signing but she made me think all was ok. my credit may not be good but that lease program is a rip off when I tried to cancel she said I would have to pay 10percent. the delivery fee is a sad pathetic shame. which she didn't tell me about. I will never shop here again and I will be putting the info on social media

I ordered a Section on 9/3/22. I was told everything were in stock. One 9/6 they delivered the wrong items. On 9/13 they brought out the same items that they brought on 9/6 trying to make me take the incorrect items. The deliver driver said my correct items are in stock but the Saleman said the items are out of stock and will be in stock in two weeks. They put the blame on each other and didn't correct the issue. They didn't return my calls. I had to keep calling them. Still no sectional. So I called on 9/14 to cancel my order.Got to go in to get my refund.

Such a great selection in a huge showroom! The best salesperson/customer service we encountered at Ashley Furniture at 7951 Winchester Rd, LaDarius Bush 👍 He worked with us every step when needed without overwhelming us. We bought a couch in the clearance section and he gave us information of a third party mover to deliver. He personally tested out the power/moving part of the couch to make sure everything worked! He explained every piece of paperwork we signed. We were able to secure the third party mover, Manny (brother of Shaquille O’Neal) the next day for he was booked full for the following 2 days! Manny reassembled the couch at our apartment for us! We so appreciate the care and professionalism of Manny and his team in delivering our couch! Thank you, LaDarius and Manny 😇
I waited for end tables over a year…just to find out they discontinued them! The sales rep NEVER reached out to me…I came in the store on several occasions…asking for the display…yet…she told me no…but someone else ended up purchasing them!!! Now I have the darn coffee table without the darn end tables!! Imagine that!!!!!!!

I had an excellent experience at Ashley Furniture. The salesman, Ladarius, was incredible. I was looking for a recliner and ended up buying two. Ladarius was a real people person. He never pressured me to buy more of the item or anything else. I enjoyed our conversation about many things other than furniture. I liked the recliner so much that I decided to buy one for my grandson. I was with my family, and they were impressed with Ladarius too.I truly enjoyed my experience at Ashley’s. PLEASE BE AWARE!!!!!! I do not understand how my credit was ran through at least 6-9 different lenders when I was told to sign the app twice so ONLY Synchrony Bank and T.D. Bank could process it. Not to mention I planned on closing on a brand new home soon. The salesperson informed me that the manager MJ? forces the employees to run it through until until a lender approves, guaranteeing a sale. I just wish they would have told me that up front so I could have declined. Very sneaky way to get customers money.
Before going to purchase the sales person are very nice to us. Once you purchased the item, do you have any questions on your offers and any other questions at the next visit they never mind you and give any proper response.
I give 1 star....My 1st time shopping with Ashley I purchased a dining room set on 2/12/2022 the associate was very nice and helpful. I was advised it would take 8 to 12 weeks. My dining room set arrived on 5/14/2022 table top was chipped and not completely painted, two of the six chairs were wobbly and chipped. Customer service was notified I was advised a replacement would be sent on 6/24/2022 my delivery was canceled now I have to wait another week before I will receive my table top. I still do not have a date on when I will receive the replacement chairs. .
My husband and I had purchased our first home together in 2019 and we chose Ashley furniture to furnish our home. The sales associate was great! BUT BE AWARE! once you make your purchase, they issue you your paperwork and you walk out... every action after that is a disaster, meaning, If you have any issue with delivery, damaged furniture ect. they give you a 1800 number that handles you very unprofessionally! You are then on a very annoying goose chase about YOUR PURCHASE!! Once they get your money they dont care about you or your purchase and will refuse to give you a refund once you're tired of the chase! Now its 2022 and from some of the post ive read, not much has changed! Ashley (owner) stop "selling" promises in your reviews and start selling quality furniture and better customer service in delivery!

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!! The absolute worst customer service ever! My experience has become the family joke. I ordered my furniture in December and paid in full. Was told there would be no problem to get my furniture when I moved into my new home in January. Well, here it is June 14- still missing 3 pieces (tentatively set for July 15), 6 deliveries of the wrong headboard and a sticker placed on the microfiber couch cushion so it needs to be replaced-which I’m still waiting for as well.

I had a good experience here a couple of years ago, but today I can't help but get an ageist vibe from the employees on the sales floor. Full disclosure, I'm in my early 20s and look even younger than that. I moved to Memphis in the middle of the pandemic back in the summer of 2020 and came here with my mother to purchase furniture for my new apartment. You would've thought we were celebrities with how everyone fawned all over us; they truly did everything they could for me whenever the furniture I had ordered months in advance was on back order and basically gave me whatever they had in stock (a lot of it nicer than what I had originally ordered) to make sure my apartment was furnished. Five stars for that experience.However, today I came alone to purchase some additional furniture (I'm doing some refreshing after being in my space for two years) and it's as if I'm invisible because I don't have an older-looking person with me. I'm actually typing this review from the sales floor, where I have yet to be acknowledged by a single employee after being here for going on a half an hour. Again, I know I look like a teenager, but they could stand to make a lot of money from me, and it's unfortunate that they're losing a sale because I don't look like someone who can afford this stuff. I guess I'll need to bring my mom to get service here.
Memphis delivery driver Tony Moss waited 3 minutes from when I picked up the call to when he left before he drove off. 3 hour delivery window and he can’t wait 3 minutes. I walked out as he drove off. Have to wait a week to get rescheduled to deliver. Terrible impression on the company’s part and no effort to fix the issue.

Ashley has been the worst company by far purchasing furniture from. We ordered our furniture back in September, our order still has not been completely fulfilled. First they delivered our furniture in two orders. Our chest was broken and then we were notified that the warehouse people broke the slats to the bed. We get those delivered in February and March (which is ridiculous). When we received the slats in March, we were then notified that the original delivery people (from October!!!) did not open everything and notice that the POLES WERE MISSING! So now we just received the poles in late May, 9 months (!!!!) after the original order. We are now waiting for Ashley to schedule a technician to send out to put together our bed and there has been radio silence. Save your money and buy elsewhere.

BUYER BEWARE! Ashley used to be a brand I could trust. In 2016, I bought over $10,000 worth of furniture from them to furnish my new home. Part of that deal was if I did not make any claims against my warranty, I would get 10% of that back in-store credit. It has been nothing short of a disaster ever since. I went to the store on Winchester in Memphis, TN on 12/31/21 to redeem my credit. I was told that I could not use any in-store sales with my credit, nor would they allow me to redeem my credit online, nor would they price-match what was online (online prices were up to $200 less depending on the furniture piece). Many of the pieces we saw on the floor were damaged, which has me really questioning if the quality is not what it used to be. The store associate was extremely unhelpful and kept disappearing when I was trying to get her to help me. When I asked to speak to a manager, she told me she WAS the manager (which I later found out to be untrue by calling the store). We finally gave up and just picked out our $1000 worth of furniture, which ended up being a cocktail table, a small storage bench, and two barstools. We were told that the barstools were in stock at the warehouse and that we could go pick them up on the following Saturday (1/8/22). We confirmed this multiple times because the warehouse is a good 40-minute drive from our home. When we arrived, we were told that we had been misinformed and that it would be April before we could get any of our items. The woman working at the warehouse would not give us any further information and actually walked away from the service window and put in her headphones back at her desk across the room to ignore us. Fast-forward to last week. I finally received a call on 4/26/22 saying that all of my items had arrived and they needed me to tell them the exact date that I would pick them up from the warehouse. I confirmed that I would be there on 4/30/22. When we arrived, the lady at the window this time was actually quite pleasant, but we waited almost 25 minutes for our items to be pulled. There were at least 5 workers hanging out on the dock chatting and clearly not working - it is possible that they were on break or that pulling my order was not part of their job responsibilities, but Ashley needs to know that the perception is that they were not trying to get my order together and I was the only customer waiting. They finally loaded the boxes in the back of our pickup truck and confirmed with us that we had 2 barstools, the cocktail table, and the bench. We drove the 40 minutes back home and realized that the box labeled as the barstools only had one stool in it. After multiple phone calls where we were told there was no way to contact the warehouse without driving back over there, we loaded up again and drove back to the warehouse, where they apologized and loaded us up with another box labeled as a bar stool. We noticed the box size was different, so we opened it in the parking lot to find that it was the completely wrong stool. We took it back inside and were told that we would have an update by 5/2 via phone on what the next steps would be. 5/2 came and went, and today (5/3) I received a phone call that they can't get us another stool until August 4th. Over 8 months to get my order in... (and who knows if it will even be correct by then). I will NEVER shop with Ashley again, and am only typing this whole story up to hopefully save someone else the trouble. If I had not purchased this on store credit I would have returned the whole thing and taken my money elsewhere.

Great sales person. She took her time to make my experience meaningful and easy. We looked over the entire store for items. I didn't feel rushed. She explained the entire finance situation to me. The representative was Chanel Maughmer. I would purchase more furniture from her in the future.
DON'T BUY A FURNTURE WARRANTY FROM ASHLEY!!! I spent over $5000.00 on furniture, and over $700 on the warranty, and when it was time for repair, even though the Ashley salesperson said it would be comprehensive coverage, it wasn't. They literally find any reason to deny your claim even if you have receipts and pictures of the damage. The warranty protection is a scam that hurts hardworking, taxpaying, mortgage paying people like me. So disappointed, but I shouldn't be...it's Ashley...literally a worse furniture company than Wal-mart. Though I've never bought furniture at Wal-Mart, I don't think it would be good! Google won't let you give NO STARS , so I have to give 1 star to post review. Begin original review: We came to buy a TV stand and a table and chairs. We thought the table we wanted would be too long so we went home and measured the space. We came back to the store and let the salespeople know that we were READY TO PURCHASE BOTH THE TV STAND AND THE TABLE. After waiting patiently for 2 HOURS we decided that our money would be better spent at a store where we we at least acknowledged. The name brand, “Ashley” alone represents quality merchandise that decor any home to make it stands out! The legs of furniture and tables, bedding etc. is a recognizable mark in any home. It’s gotta be an Ashley Home. I would recommend everything because the merchandise is gorgeous.

LeDarius and Cheyenne were both super helpful! I explained to him the style and color of the bed I was looking for and he immediately took me to the perfect one! When that one turned out to have a months long delivery date he broke the news gently and helped me find something similar that I would still be happy taking home. Cheyenne helped me find the perfect mattress to match the bed that LeDarius and I picked out. I never thought Tempur-pedic mattresses would be in my price range, but she showed me the most affordable options and explained the importance of consistently good sleep to my health. As I was selecting accessories for my living room she told me that she was currently in school for interior design and helped me pick out a rug and ottoman that will match the couch that I want perfectly. The sales process went smoothly with both Cheyenne and LeDarius acting as the perfect team. They even worked with the sales manager to get me discounts so that I could leave with everything I wanted! This was absolutely the best furniture buying experience that I have had and I will DEFINITELY be recommending both associates to all my friends.
Be ready to wait on your delivery, they have no inventory, so expect to wait six to eight weeks

Update: While my initial experience at the store was good, my experience with delivery and customer service has been horrible. They have canceled delivery twice and never notified me. Customer service has been no help and only make excuse. We have now stayed home two days and still no furniture. Our time is valuable but not to Ashley. They don't care.
I had an awesome shopping experience at this store. The entire staff was nice and consistently checked in to offer assistance as I browsed the showroom floor. LaCassia was awesome as well in assisting me with my purchase. Overall, it was a pleasant shopping experience.

The young man that helped me was very knowledgeable about what I wanted. I bought 2 loveseats, a sofa, 2 end tables and a cocktail table. I wanted to see how the the set would look together. He put one of the tables on a dolly and brought it back were the sofa. He had to bring it from the front of the store to the back. This young man had excellent customer service.

The Cordova store should be ashamed and embarrassed of taking advantage of a 75 year-old cancer patient. She has a recliner that was delivered last week she was never able to use, and Ashley is so far come up with excuses as to why no one can even come look at it to determine if it was put together incorrectly or if it is broken. My MIL now has to undergo surgery and treatments without her recliner to help her recover.
I had a great experience working with Hunter. Walked in and asked about a few items I was searching for and he directed me to them. Was very knowledgeable about them and researched other stores and online site to give me the best deal. I was very pleased with my experience.

Good furniture but a lot of delays and multiple re-scheduling. Need to do a lot of follow up to get your items. Ashley seems to have no care for buyer and keep pushing date despite confirming on delivery schedule. Unless you do not have a great amount of patience to wait, buy furniture from somewhere else. Today I got phone call which says that delivery date again got pushed out and it is 9th time.

Long wait times and challenging to work with when trying to get items delivered. Would be better if the follow-up occurred after purchase. I'm still waiting for items I bought weeks ago and customer service told me I may need to go into the store and pick something else - but no communication from the store.

I had a very pleasant experience in this store. They were quick to get me out the store, which was much appreciated as I was on a deadline to be somewhere. Mj is who sold me my chair, and he was very kind. Even though he is the only person I did business with, all the employees there were friendly and we had some good laughs. I recommend this store for its clearance section, they have good pieces for good price.

Great store with great options. We looked at lot of furniture places but nothing beats Ashley's collection. They offer kid friendly protection plan which is exactly what I was looking for. Buyer Beware! . Our first delivery was dropped and damaged and they tried to leave it and hoped we wouldn't notice. The second delivery came with no holes for the knobs and they took drawers from the old dresser, put them in the new one and they don't fit. Dealing with them is a nightmare as their customer support is in Mexico and the connection is so bad you can't understand a word. Totally not worth it.
We had been looking for a sectional sofa for over a month and the moment we entered Ashley store, we saw it there. Perfect for our place, excellent feel, spacious, sturdy and super comfortable. From then on everything was smooth with easy financing and good discounts. Now just hoping for a flawless and quick delivery of our amazing furnitures..!!

I had a great experience visiting Ashley’s. The salesman were so kind in assisting me when I walked in. I found my item right away and Josh was right there assisting me with my deli by sharing with me the cost, colors and the different ways the Chase selection sofa could be arranged. Josh offered to show me other ones with more styles but I was satisfied with my choice. Josh wrote me up and I was approved for for my selection and Josh shared wit me the delivery time frame, the cancellation policy and the coverage of the furniture . I was pleased so I’m waiting patiently for my furniture ordered. I had a great experience.
Josh Carodine was a great salesperson and I would have given him 5 stars but had to adjust to 4 stars due to the difficulty the corporate office made it. He was as quick as possible; however, he had to get approvals to price match to your online price. Josh did everything right to make the experience the best but I felt like he had one arm tied behind his back because the in store price and online price were vastly different. This was not his fault. Shame one Ashley’s for making it difficult for their sales personnel and not making it easy for their employees or clients on this price matching. I wouldn’t hesitate to contact Josh again but it does make me think twice about shopping at Ashley's.

They have been the worst to do business with and I don’t know that I’ll ever buy furniture from them again. They placed the wrong order and had to take back my sons bed three times before it was right and then it was missing the light and I still haven’t gotten it. Was also also promised a discount on the mattress covers and manager pretended to be doing it while I was in the store and waiting to see if it was given as it hasn’t reflected on my bill. Took three months to get complete order which was bad because we just moved in to new place and had no beds.
Please do not shop at this location. They have terrible customer service. I came into the store this pass weekend to purchase right out(not finance) a dining room set. Noone acknowledged to assist me. When I spoke with the manager M J ROBINSON he was so nonchalant and rude. As if he didnt need my business. As I was explaining to him my frustration of not being helped he continued to look at his computer. As if he didnt care to listen. Usually I dont write reviews but my experience there was horrible and I dont want anyone else to experience the same encounter I had.

Quality, I was very surprised by the structure and style of the furniture I purchased. I had the pleasure of meeting and working with salesperson LaCassia, who did a fantastic job on educating me on the different brands and options that are great for the customer. I know a lot of customers feel stressed about salesperson being a little to extra, but my experience was most enjoyable and cost effective for my budget. I definitely recommend Ashley Home Store.

RUN AWAY FROM THIS STORE! They are currently taking orders selling products they CANNOT ever deliver. We placed an order on 7/1/2021 and were informed today that we will not receive it until DECEMBER 21!!!!!!! This company should be shut down for selling things they cannot fulfill. I would give this place 0 stars if google would let me.
We ordered 4 bar stools and 1 couch on 7/1/2021. The initial estimated delivery date was 7/27. We were warned that things were delayed and it could be up to 12 weeks. It has now been 15 weeks and they informed us today that our couch will not arrive until December 21.

I will never EVER order anything from Ashley Furniture. I ordered a kitchen table with a bench, but they delivered a kitchen table with bar stools. I told them that is not what I ordered, but they denied a bench was ever with the table. The barstools that were delivered were dirty, flies were on the barstools and they had been previously used. They replaced the barstools with another set and that barstool was wobbly and I returned that one. . I also ordered a king size bedroom set and the screws popped out of the furniture the next day. The customer service is a JOKE and the Furniture is cheap!! I had NO IDEA Ashley’s Furniture was like this. I wish I could give them a negative 100!! DO NOT ORDER FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE!!

I have no idea how Ashley has so many good reviews. After having several terrible experiences with Ashley, I decided to not hold a grudge and try again. What a bad decision. The store wouldn’t price match their own website so I ordered online. After waiting almost 2 months for a kitchen table and chairs, one of the chairs had wrong parts included so I couldn’t assemble it. I called the local store and they said because I ordered online, they wouldn’t replace the wrong part with the correct part, that I would have to call the online customer service and get them to send me a new part. What a miserable experience. Should have trusted my instincts and bought from anywhere other than Ashley.

I went to Ashley with my Monday hoping to get a new bedroom set. From the time I walked in I was not greeted nor helped the whole time my mom and. I was there I left without any help. You see workers playing around and talking to other coworkers but not trying to help one lady act like she was going to help but never did. I took my business else bad customer service
If i could give 0 stars i would not only r they unprofessional they have repeatedly hung up in my face. I ordered and paid for 2 bedroom sets on may 20th they said it will take 8-10 weeks to get my furniture. It is September 7 and they r still moving my date further back. I called 2 weeks ago and they said it would be here on the 5th of sep, so i called today on the 7th they said it might be here in the 17th. They never give me any concrete answers and when they get tired of me being frustrated they hang up. I talked to a Alex today and when i started asking y i still don’t have my furniture he hung up. I will never buy anything else from this company in my life and if u want ur stuff before 6 months i would stay away if i were u. Since i have ordered mine i have met several people with the same story and warning. DON’T SHOP HERE!!!!

Please don't ever order from Ashley. It took months to get our order, we received a broken ottoman, the furniture tech tried to fix it but wasn't even sent the right pieces from Ashley. This was after a no-show appointment that the Ashley rep didn't even schedule but told me she did. Then I was supposed to have a replacement delivered. It was a no-show on the delivery dates. Their system doesn't show accurate notes or updates from at least 15 people I've spoken to on chats and on the phone. I still don't have the ottoman and I can't get a refund since an exchange is in progress, but hasn't been delivered through no fault of my own. The reps are rude and actually told me they can't make miracles happen after a no-show delivery last Saturday. This is the worst experience I've ever had with a store.

it's been since April and I still don't have my furniture. it's a complete waste of time and money.
We were just looking to replace our family room couches. We are meet upon entry by a friendly associate Dana Jeffries who listen and then took us around to what we wanted. She worked with us without the pressure feeling of you have to buy this. Not only her but the other associates and mangers were very friendly with personality too. After everything worked out we purchased a complete set love seats and a chair. Will return for our furniture in the future.

The absolute worst. I’m not sure if it’s a lack of training or if incompetence is the targeted theme. I’ve had to call in now 8 times for the same issue. Upon ordering, I asked if my items were on back order and I was assured that they were not. Delivery day comes and part of my order is missing. I called in to see what the issue was just to find out that the missing item would not be available until September and that changed to October. I requested to cancel that item and was told that I had to come into the store. I live a hour and a half away but protocol is protocol right. So once I got to the store the “managers” urged that they would do their best to find the item by Monday and call me with the results either way. Of course that did not happen and I was told that I had to come back to the store. Lying is a common theme for these people too. Back to the delivery. My couch was delivered damaged. I called in because the delivery people are just contractors that only deliver. The customer service-less people were supposed to put in a ticket for repair and someone was going to call within 24 hours. That didn’t happen either. Once again I called in because who wants to pay $4k for a couch that doesn’t work. This time the representative said they would process an exchange to bypass the repair. I was told that my replacement would be delivered on August 5th. That’s today and there’s no record of a delivery in their system for today. All of this to say, I wish that I never pulled in the parking lot of Ashley Homestore on Winchester in Memphis. If you want to be lied to repeatedly and if dealing with incompetent unconcerned “salespeople” are your thing then this is the place for you.
I’ve been looking for the perfect couch for a few weeks and was just about to give up when I saw the Ashley store sign from the street! I did a u-turn and decided to go in and see what they had! As soon as I walked in I saw a green Velvet couch off to the side that almost matched exactly what Ive been wanting! I just couldn’t get over how much I loved the green couch! One of the awesome staff members (Nick) who was so Patient with me and my indecisiveness helped tremendously! I sat with the idea of the couch being a great edition to my home and went for it! My couch will be here in a less than a month give or take (stupid pandemic) but I’m so please! Can’t wait to see it in my new living room!!

We walked in looking for a sectional and brainstorm. We weren’t interested in being pressured or “helped” while we looked at options. Wali was helpful and patient and not overbearing whatsoever. Even though we came near closing on a Saturday night he treated us as if he had all the time in the world. Great experience and the “surprise” 30% off was the cherry on the sundae. For what we got the price was spot on!
Went in to only look at possible dining room tables and ended up purchasing a table and 6 chairs. My saleperson Kevin was new but very helpful. Wish my items would have been in stock but I think that is standard for most places right now. I would definitely recommend
Went in just to browse and ended up getting a new couch and bed. Nicki was wonderful and very helpful and patient. Went during a 25% off sale and got a pretty good deal I think. Items I purchased were similar to some items from RH but for a fraction of the price. Wish items were in stock or going to be delivered sooner but I think most furniture stores have this much or a longer wait.
I should've waited until I received my furniture before giving a review. Worst experience ever with no accomodations. My headboard arrived broke. Gave me the runaround on getting it replaced. I asked customer service to speak to a manager, she hung up on me. Said she didn't see the photos I submitted cause once someone look at them they are deleted and I need to send over again. Thank God someone at the actual store had sense. Even the delivery person stated my furniture was damaged. In addition, I have no mattress and the date keeps being pushed back. I keep calling and no other reccommendations or when it will arrive. I will never purchase furniture here again!
I came in to purchase some furniture from this location and was almost immediately greeted by Wali Ndao. Wali was extremely informative and patient with my girlfriend and I while we browsed the show room and decided on the couch and love seat that fit the criteria we were looking for. Once we found what we wanted, Wali was very professional and helpful getting us through the paperwork and buying process. Will definitely be back for future furniture needs.

The store is clean and easy to find the stuff that I am looking for. The staff is nice and is easy to work. One complain is that the item I ordered online needs to be waited for more than 2 months. It is a pain.
Military Family: If I could put no stars I would. Sales part was great, Wallie did good, but unfortunately, selling items that are delivered damaged, missing, wrong items, defective, etc… I don’t blame him for what comes out the warehouse. Lovell, the manager seemed like he wanted to help. Things happened piece mail… had to go to a different store to get the ball moving faster… but still not close to the finish line. Completely dissatisfied with the entire Ashley’s Company. We purchased our furniture in February 2021, around $19,000 worth… this was after the discounts…. But let me tell you, the headaches that have followed… taking numerous days off of work and we are still struggling to get our furniture and refund on a bad motion 500 base that they picked up yet haven’t returned the money. If you could shop somewhere else I highly recommend it. I’m active duty Navy and stationed on the Millington base… look me up and I’ll share all the details that should encourage you to shop elsewhere. Most of our furniture delivered was damaged before even coming off the truck… then the headache to swap it out it is worse. When they come to swap it out they bring you more damaged items for the exchange so you waste the time you take off of work to get nothing accomplished — 99% of the delivery team are rude and unprofessional. I have pictures to prove of all the damaged items being offloaded. If you ordered from Ashley’s and haven’t received your furniture… be sure to inspect everything before you accept the delivery and if anything is damaged, reject the delivery - TRUST ME!
I purchased a Ashley NortShore bed the head board came cracked bed caused 2400, mattress 4000. Instead of getting a replacement. They had me taken pictures sending emails. This is the worst experience ever. I will not be purchasing anything from Ashley again. I really don't want to give one star. It didn't have that option.

The only reason I feel this review is worth the ONE star I gave is because the sofa set I wanted was nice and at a great price. I'm highly frustrated at the service I have been provided. I have been provided TWO delivery dates. Now I'm being told the furniture won't be in the warehouse until the end of MAY which will be OVER two months I have been waiting! I was told it was coming today now three more weeks delivery date. I have moved my old furniture out and have nothing. I want a full refund and I'm never returning. Update: Three weeks later, I go to the store because Noone called me to even give an update. I go to the store to find out there are 4 people waiting on the same sofa and I'm number 5 so it will be an undetermined amount of time before delivery. Two months if wasted time.. I'm totally disappointed with Ashley. I asked for a refund. Never ever going back.

She was extremely informative of all the dimensions of the furniture and she was also patient with us as we continued to take up her time with our many visits to the store... I bought furniture for my den in our new home about 3 weeks ago. A sectional, recliner and end table. I couldn’t wait for it to be delivered. However, about 4-5 days before delivery I found out that my end table was listed as to be picked up at store. I couldn’t understand how that could happen when I purchased everything at the same time, in full, with a credit card. On the day I found this out, I believe I was talking to the warehouse or customer service. This person tried to help, with what I assumed was trying to have the store send the end table to the warehouse for delivery with my other furniture. 48 hours before deliver, confirmation revealed only the sectional and recliner would be delivered. For two days I talked with customer service and other selections on the answering service but only received the runaround. I thought at some point I was actually talking to the store. On delivery day I received my sectional and recliner. My mother, who bought the furniture as a housewarming gift talked to our salesperson, Zedrick. He told her he would deliver the table himself. That didn’t happen. Because this was Friday, I waited until after the weekend to call the store. Again, I called customer service who couldn’t resolve my issue but did finally connected me to the store. The person answering said I needed to talk with the manager. He took my name and number. After 3 hours of no return call, I walked into the store and was met by the manager. I explained my delimma. He pulled up my account while giving me all kinds of excuses as to why he had not returned my call. Understand, by this time I was no longer interested in Ashley Furniture’s excuses as everyone I had been in with for a week had not provided me any assistance. He told me my table was on clearance and that is why it was listed as pickup. He stated that furniture on clearance has to be picked up at the store and the store couldn’t take furniture to the warehouse for deliver with other furniture bought by a customer. I can’t understand, still, why that is an issue. The warehouse is located in Memphis as well and shouldn’t operate separately from the store, in my opinion as the customer. After all of the excuses, this manager asked ME how he could fix my issue. Seriously! I asked him how HE thought it should be fixed. He told me he would use their truck and deliver the table himself. I had already mentioned this had already been promised so I asked when. He thought and said “today” (Tuesday). I asked what time as I had one more stop to make before returning home. He stated 2 hours. Perfect. I waited at home until 30 minutes after his supposed delivery. With my husband being home from work, we visited Ashley again. Again, I was met with more excuses, like how busy he had been, as to why he had not delivered my table as he promised. I informed him I wasn’t interested i is n anymore excuses from Ashley furniture. He asked me to show him where my table was. Thankfully, nothing had been moved around in 3 weeks so I could find it again. By the way, there was nothing on the table to indicate it was on clearance and our salesperson never mentioned it when completing the paperwork and invoice. He certainly never mentioned I would have to pick it up from the store myself. While I certainly love my new furniture, this customer service experience has left me with not recommending this store to anyone else. I have a living room I will be furnishing and also a bedroom. I will certainly not return to Ashley Home Store for furnishing these rooms. There are numerous furniture stores in Memphis and the surrounding area to choose from. The sale does not end when the furniture is paid for. Never forget it’s mostly about the customer experience and this was horrendous.

The sales representative we had the pleasure of meeting was LaCassia. She was very nice and friendly. She made the process of getting the furniture we wanted fun and quick. I would definitely recommend her and Ashley to any one looking for beautiful but affordable furniture.

Most unfortunate once returning home, sale I inquired about was on TV w/ 25% discount off til the end of the month, however, Ashley Representative stated that sale was no longer applicable in any way! Oh well, as much as I wanted the item, the infomercial made it plain, Rep gave me misinformation & I won't be returning for the item! Also, not to accommodate a customer for a drink of water in the store, not good customer service🤔 Making a commission is a by-product to developing a repoire w/ a returning customer! That's a major component of the Kiss Method that makes one man a top Rep as opposed to a loser!

Bought a sectional in January. We’re told it wouldnt be ready till early March. Ok that’s fine we can manage that. Then get a call on March 15th that it’s all ready but 2 pieces and they will deliver what they have on Friday. They never show up and never call. My wife gets the run around from the sales person and then tell us they can’t deliver anything until the 29th but we could go pick it up if we wanted (keep in mind we paid for the premium delivery) . Then they told us the last piece won’t be ready at the earliest until April 22nd. Avoid this place at all costs . They don’t know how to run a decent business and take care of their customers. No viable solutions were offered to fix this so we canceled and now have not had a couch for over 3 months... just sad ....
This is the third time we have made major purchases from Ashley. Somehow their customer service is better and better each time we go. They have always been polite and professional. Today Joshua went above and beyond to be sure that we found exactly what we wanted. He was very helpful and did not try to oversell. I'm sure we will go to Ashley first every time we need something for our home.

Lets talk CUSTOMER SERVICE. I recently purchased a mattress, nightstand and dresser/mirror. The sale went smooth the staff was super friendly and very attenuative. Thank you Mr. Maklin. I made it clear in this purchase that I had to have the mattress by a certain date and they agreed. Well that date was here and come to find out my mattress was no where even close to getting to me. I called the store and spoke with Mr. Maklin and Mr.Houston and explained that I would be sleeping on my couch if I didnt get this mattress on the day I expected it. I will just say that they moved the moon to get me a mattress to sleep on. They will from now on have all my furniture business. Thank you Mr. Maklin and Mr. Houston.

I am 4 months pregnant. I went in February to purchase a new king size bed with adjustable base. Per the delivery on 3-9 we went ahead and removed the old bed so the new one could arrive. The have me the mattress but no base. Stated that it would be out later the day. Guess what no base. I called and called and spoke to different people who kept giving me the run around. I finally spoke with a supervisor Mariana, who suggested that I slept on the floor like an animal after I advised her I was 4 months pregnant. Rude right! I spoke to my sales person who received an email stating it will be out this morning. Well this morning has come and went. No base. I called and they advised me that it will be out in 3-16. Not I've already told everyone that my old bed had been removed and I need a bed. Sleeping on couches hurts a almost 40 yr. old pregnant woman. I have not received any help or support from the company. The offered me 10% for my inconvenience 10% which would not have put a small dent in my total. I am very upset, very disrespected yet this is suppose to be a well represented company. A joke.

We bought a bed in December and it was delivered with no hardware. The delivery guys said they would "be right back" and never showed up. It's now March 6th and we still don't have a usable piece of furniture. Horrible customer service. We had to call multiple numbers to get anyone to talk to us. The store manager (Wolfchase Memphis) couldn't be bothered to come to the telephone.I have a house FULL of Ashley furniture but will never shop with them again.

When shopping at Ashley’s , there is this one sales person who is always always in an upbeat mood! He makes your buying experience fun and just as exciting you feel about purchasing a new piece. He is why I continue to shop at Ashley’s. His name is Zedric! Love this guy!! Customer service is good overall. If I had one criticism, it would be the delivery service. The delivery service is not the best because delivery dates are given but pushed forward two to three times before delivering your merchandise. Other than that, Ashley’s is a great place to shop! 😀

This was my 3rd time visiting this location. Initially, I went just to look, as I was shopping around for new furniture. The salesman Corbin, was as helpful, informative, and pleasant the 3rd time as he was the 1st. He was never pushy and gave me space to look around while offering insight and checking product availability for me. When I went in for the 3rd time, I was ready to buy. I went to a few other big brand stores earlier that day, (which I won’t name), and did not receive the same customer service and attention to detail as I did in Ashley Home Store. The furniture is really nice quality with a high end look, and I love that some of the sectional sofas were customizable based on customer needs. I also like the fact that they have regular sales on their merchandise. Great experience all the way around, I will definitely return to shop with Corbin when I’m ready to redecorate my next room.
We recently purchased a bedroom set from Ashley that I really liked in the showroom. When the set arrived, I loved it even more. At that time, I hadn’t added the nightstands. Today, we went in and purchased the nightstands. The same salesperson was working and remembered us immediately. She made the purchase seamless. I’ll be returning to purchase other furniture from the same salesperson at the same store because of the furniture quality and the professionalism shown.

Let me see where I should start. My family and I recently purchased our second home. We went into Ashley store and purchased a bedroom set and front room funiture in October 2020. I was promised that my order would be here in December. Lies!!! Here it is, February 3,2021 and I still don’t have my items. I called the call center and my dresser won’t be in until May 2021. MY BED WON’T BE IN UNTIL MARCH 25,2021. Shaking my head, I’m very disappointed and I will never shop with Ashley AGAIN!!!! NEVER!!!! 👎🏽
We needed several items to buy, visited few Ashley stores in the town, but liked spending more time in this store because of the staffs. Upon walking in the store was greeted with a welcome and did we need assistance great! Rachel was the person who nicely agreed to help us, she patiently walked us through the store showing all possible options. finally we ended up buying a nice sofa, a loveseat and a single chair which we liked the most. The store manager made the procedure so smooth and we left the store happily. Even though we couldn't find all we needed, but the experience with the store, manager and Rachel was pleasant.

The response time when there is a problem is horrific. They do not stand behind their product & the exchange process is an absolute nightmare. I tried exchanging my living room suite 4 times, each time the quality of the furniture & customer service was worse. I'm not going to even start talking about how long it took to get the first set of furniture. DON'T BUY from ASHLEY'S!!! My Ashley's location was actually Germantown Parkway.

I purchased the medium cooling tempurpedic mattress. Best purchase I’ve made in years!!!!! My back & hip pains were minimized on day 2 of sleeping on this mattress. Every time I get in bed, I automatically drift off to sleep whether I was prepared to or not.... 🥰 !!!!

I just wanted to share my experience with Ashley HomeStore the people at this location were great the issue is with the people who deliver their items DSG this company has scheduled multiple appointments to have the furniture I ordered from Ashley's delivered just to cancel the delivery without calling. After 4 months of waiting on my items I've decided to get a refund from the store and looking elsewhere for my furniture ridiculous

Will never shop here again! Me and my boyfriend went to the store to get a few items for our new home. We were met by Tandy, who at the time was very helpful. We asked her what their financing options were and told her right away that if it was by an Ashley Furniture credit card we weren't interested and would just use a credit card to pay for it out right. She assured us thats not how it worked and we proceeded looking for our items. After finding a sectional and bed we liked we began the financing process. She then went ahead and applied my info for an instore credit card. We repeated to her that we were not going that route as it was not what we wanted and had previously stated that to begin with. She apologized and said she misunderstood and we paid for our items. We were informed due to covid there would be about a month delay. We ordered our items labor day weekend. It is now two days until November and nothing has arrived. We called time and time again and were given false delivery dates and very little help. This past Wednesday we received the text and call to confirm our delivery for today (Oct 30th) our delivery window was said to be between 1:15 and 4:15. It is now well past that time and we were just informed our order was cancelled and cannot be told why. Also were told that one of our items won't be delivered until December. This company is absolutely terrible. I will never recommend them to anyone. Just horrible.

Ashley Furniture has upgraded their sleep store area. James Arwood is one of the best assets they brought in. As a Tempur Pedic specialist, he's definitely one of the best I've had the pleasure of dealing with. Made this new experience with Ashley Furniture 100 times better. Now, I just had the pleasure of working with Chanel Maughmer, who was trained by James Arwood. The same results from my previous experience with Mr. Arwood was definitely exceeded by Ms. Maughmer. Ashley Furniture is consistently getting a 1000 batting average from the Motleys. Keep it up Ashley Furniture 💯

6 phone calls, 2 visits in the store: one bed is taking 3 deliveries to come in (over a month to arrive) when calling to schedule, spent over an hour on the phone each time with absolutely zero ability to speak to someone in actual scheduling. Four “tickets” entered (two put in as urgent) no one returns my calls. Absolutely terrible customer service. When an error was made on Ashley Furniture’s behalf no way to rectify the situation. Shop elsewhere!

I would give no star if I could still list my review. First our sales associate did not separately assign bed rails so our new bed arrived with no bed rails. I tried calling 3 times was on hold for 30 minutes each time with no one answering. So I drove up to the store just to order bed rails that won&'t be in for another week. Then when I was putting our clothes in the dresser I noticed the damage to the dresser where the middle piece of wood is unattached at the top and somehow poorly attached at the bottom and makes the wood bow out. Very upset and disappointed. I have tried calling the store several times and it stated they are closed even though it&'s 12:25 pm.

Cameron is an excellent salesman. I ordered my son's bed in September and got it a month later. They were honest about the delivery delay when I bought it. What I dont like is the 45 minutes to an hour wait on hold to talk to a customer service representative. That is ridiculous. Hire people to work from home!! The delivery men were wearing masks, quick, nice and efficient.
Terrible management. After lying about delivery date (by two months) to get the sale, I had to go into the store and ask why my furniture hasn’t been delivered yet. They said it won’t be here for another two months and that the date given was inaccurate. I cancelled my sales order and requested a refund for my deposit. They claimed to have credited both the deposit and credit amounts back to my accounts. I went in after 7 days (they said the money would be back by now) and they said everything has been credited and blamed my bank. I called my bank and there were no records of them crediting anything back to my account. I had to file a dispute and now need make sure they credited the other amount back into the finance account. I was able to get a nicer couch for way better price the day after I ordered it with another company. I will never work with Ashley again. Don’t waste your time going here. 0 stars.

On July 25, 2020 I ordered a full bedroom suit (bed, mattress, boxspring, dresser w/mirror and nightstand) and dinnette set (table, 4 chairs and a bench) for my daughter's out-of-state college apartment. Delivery was scheduled for 8/15/20 for ALL of the furniture. Two days prior I received notice that only her bedroom suit would be delivered. I called the delivery people and they assured me that all of the furniture would be delivered. My family made the trip to receive the delivery and all that came was the INCORRECT bedroom suit (no mattress or boxspring and no mirror). I called my local salesperson and found out that she inadvertently entered the wrong code for the bedroom furniture. I also inquired about the missing pieces and was assured that they could get them rescheduled as well as get my bedroom furniture exchanged. After countless calls and trips to my local store, I have been given numerous promises of delivery and date changes for delivery of the rest of the furniture. Since delivery of the rest of the furniture was eventually promised by 9/4/20, we decided to make the trip again to move my daughter in. Prior to the trip I found out that there was still an issue with the delivery of some of the pieces. I went back to my local store and talked with the assistant manager, with whom I now have built a relationship because of the numerous calls and trips to the store, and he called the Escalation Team and I was assured that my FULL dinette set, mattress and boxspring were in stock at the Houston, TX warehouse and would be delivered 9/10/20 to Missouri. So I bought an airmatress so that my daughter would have somewhere to sleep until 9/10 and we made the trip to finally move my daughter in. I also took a 6ft fold up table and two fold up chairs so that she would have some where to sit and eat. Needless to say, the rest of the furniture was still not delivered. Only four chairs and the mattress and boxspring were delivered. The bedroom exchange is scheduled for 9/21 or 22 and I am not holding my breath on that promise. I have now been told that the table may not be available until November and that the dinette bench won't be available until October. I have researched and found the names and positions of several "high-ranking officials" for the franchise and I may have to begin an email campaign in order to get the rest of my furniture! I hope that someone with some authority will reach out to me as a result of this review.

I had been all over town looking for a marble table top dining table set 6 seater and Ashley was the 3rd store I came to. I had my mind set on this marble top and asked sales Shirley Brown if they had any. She said no and I was ready to turn around until she said come look at this elegant table and tell me what you think. Suddenly the marble tabletop left my mind and I was very pleased with this dining table she directed my attention to. I knew then I had found the perfect dining set including chairs for my kitchen. Mrs. Brown was very professional, helpful and I enjoyed the laughs and conversation we shared while she was taking care of my purchase! She is my new sales associate for every time I come purchase with Ashley!!! Thank you Ashley furniture and thank you Shirley Brown!!!

Do NOT, under any circumstances, purchase furniture from any Ashley Furniture store. This is the absolute worst company we have ever dealt with. From delayed "delivery," to being lied to multiple times about it being delivered, to eventually being told they would not deliver and I would have to pick up from the warehouse. THEN, when we brought the couch home and took the carton and packaging off, we saw that it was broken internally near the sleeper mechanism. It was likely broken because these geniuses store and ship sleeper sofas stood up on end, so the entire weight of the sleeper mechanism is forced down on the small internal plywood box on either end of the frame. We fought with them for WEEKS to get a repair done under warranty, being passed around, told we would receive a call, straight up hung up on, before a repair guy finally came out (3rd party) and said he could not repair it, but would mark us down for replacement. To our surprise, we received a delivery confirmation 2 days later for the following day. We hit "confirm", had my brother wait at the house for us during the delivery window, and no one ever showed up, not even a phone call. My wife called today (after waiting on hold for the minimum 45 minutes you will experience every time you try to contact them), and was told no delivery was ever scheduled, but that the local store was waiting for us to come select a couch in store. We don't want a different couch, they were supposed to deliver the SAME couch and said IN WRITING that they were doing that. These are garbage people with a garbage company. Don't even give them the time of day.
Customer service was A1, our salesman(Mr. Clifford) was very courteous and extremely professional! Management was also top notch! They made sure all of our questions and concerns were met with detailed information and clear instructions on delivery, set up, and warranty. We're looking forward to our next transaction. I'm very disappointed with Ashley Furniture. I literally had a bedroom set scheduled for delivery this morning and i didn't receive any notice of a cancellation. My furniture (bedroom set and living room set) has been pushed back 4 times and now they are telling me my stuff won't be in until October. I'm very close to filing a complaint with the BBB and FTC. The company charges you 10% of your purchase if you cancel. So they pocket money off you, even though they don't know when you are getting your product. This is just plain wrong. I understand Covid- 19 , but a company shouldn't set any kind of delivery date. I don't think I'll buy from them again.
I went in about 30 minutes before closing because I don’t get off work until late. I was immediately helped with finding an amazing mattress and a new sectional in minutes. I was disappointed with the wait time to receive my new additions to my home what what can I expect during a pandemic 🤷🏽♀️ But I will be purchasing here again
The staff was friendly and I was helped in finding what I was looking for. The salesperson made it work to where I was able to get everything I wanted! The only thing I’m not happy with is the amount of time it’s takin to get my furniture , other than that my experience was a good one.

My husband and I just moved to Memphis and purchased new living room furniture for our house in May. We were told it would take 3 weeks to arrive and were very excited. After months of waiting we were finally told that it would be shipped sometime after August due to Covid-19 - at this point we decided to cancel the order in July. We have been trying to get our money back for over a month and have been told something different each time we have gone in to the store (which has been 6 separate times) and we just want our money back. I will never shop at this store again and regret ever making the purchase as the store seems less than concerned about making things right. Consider yourself warned before you step foot in this place.
I was given the wrong mattress. I paid cash for a 12 inch Hybrid and received a 10 inch mattress. I've been trying to get this issue resolved for almost a week. I visited the store last week my info was taken and an email was sent to a store manager. The store manager called me the next day and told me I could exchange the mattress for the correct one. He didn't give me a delivery date. I called today to speak with the store manager about a delivery date But he wasn't in. I asked to speak with another store manager But instead of connecting me with a store manager I had to answer a lot of questions. After not being connected with the store manager I got tired of being Screened and hung up the phone. I called back a few minutes later and someone else answer the phone again I asked for the store manager she asked me a few questions and place me on hold. The original lady came that to the phone and I told her I was on a phone with someone else. Only then did the original customer service rep. Introduced herself as a store manager. She could have said that she was I store manager on the 1st phone call. She asked more questions And placed me on hold. She came back to the phone and told me that I could get another 10" mattress but it will be delivered on the 29th. I told her that I paid for a 12" mattress And that I wanted what I paid for. She told me that the warehouse shows that they delivered a 12" mattress. I told her this issue had already been resolved I only needed a delivery date. Then she told me that I needed to tell to customer service. I ended the phone call again. I didn't ask for a refund, all I wanted was the correct size mattress.

I&'d give a NO STAR if I could. Long story short my husband and I were in need of a set of mattress. I had knee surgery a few years ago then started having hip and back pain so we figured new mattress would probably help. So I visited the store on Winchester where i met a lady who greeted me in the mattress area began to ask me what I was looking for? I told her what my issue was she proceeded to introduce me to the collection of Tempur-pedic mattresses. So I came back with my husband..She was very convincing that the Tempur-pedic mattress was exactly what I needed. . She was aware of my health issues because they had been discussed prior to coming back to the store with my husband. She spoke about how they were trained in Tempur-pedic mattresses sales. That to me was saying tell me your issues and I will tell you what will fit your need bases on that. She was the expert not me. So I trusted. So we purchase a mattress almost $3000. We were excited that we made the purchase. Finally I would get some relief so we thought! Shortly after our purchase my husband began to have back problems which he&'s never had stiffness or back aches ever. My back issue and hip pain never got better and we couldn&'t figure out what was going on. My husband one day said baby I believe it&'s the mattress. After doing a little research I found out that the type mattress we have was the last one that we ever should have bought me having back issues already. The reviews on the mattress are horrible for a person with back problems. So we were not aware that we could have returned the mattress. We were never ever told that we could return them. I stop by the store one evening to speak with a manager and the manager wasn&'t there. A sales associate again greeted me. I began to let her know what my issue was and she said she would let the manager know what happened and they would call me back the next day. She copied all of my information and I never heard from a manager at the Winchester location. We have always been customers of Ashley furniture store but I am so disappointed in the fact that we were sold something that representative more than likely knew was not Ideal for me knowing of the health conditions that I spoken with her about. It&'s sad to say I feel she promoted this Tempur-pedic mattress nightmare because it was expensive and that was probably going to be a good commission for her The thing about it we were going to buy a mattress from her regardless I just would&'ve wanted to get a mattress that would have worked for my health condition and a mattress that would not have caused my husband to start having back issues. Again I am so disappointed I feel strongly about not shopping at the Ashley store again. Even though this has been a while it is still a thorn to me. I don&'t have a way to get rid of these mattress I tried to sell the mattress but because of the price no one wants to pay even close to what we&'ve spent. I feel like we were taken advantage of. As I look back I think about that particular sales associate never calling to follow up to see how things were going with the new purchase.? Usually if it&'s the sale of that sort the representative or the sales associate will make a follow up call just to make sure everything is going fine. Hearing nothing from her again let&'s me know she did us wrong and she knew it.!! I guess they felt throwing in 2 free memory foam pillows would make the difference but no ma&'am it did not !! I wish we had known we could have return the mattress but we didn&'t know that because she left that part out. It is so sad that people work hard for their money and they are taken advantage of. I am a nurse of 25 years working on my feet. So back pain, hip pain, knee pain is not a joke and I would love to after a 12 hour shift be able to come home and relax in my bed and get up the next morning and not feel like I&'m 95 years old because I&'m so stiff and hurting from not having a good nights rest on this $3000 mattress. Yes it&'s several thousands $$$ of furniture I&'d love to buy there but Ashley has just lost a long time customer over this one. I will tell everyone I know not to purchase that particular mattress and definitely not shop at Ashely Furniture store because some people aren&'t honest. Just in case you&'re reading this and thinking the person may be gone ... she&'s not !!! She&'s still there and she will sale you what you don&'t need !!!!

Ashley Home Store.I paid cash, full sticker price for a standard sectional on June 13 + a $149 delivery charge. It&'s July 25 and Ashley still can&'t tell me when it will arrive. After I spent several days earlier this month trying to speak with someone and get an ETA, Ashley began sending me automated texts which stated that, due to COVID-19 they couldn&'t predict when it will arrive. Today, I called and asked corporate for a refund. Corporate told me to contact the store. Store manager told me if I come in and pay a 10% fee, they&'ll refund me. Why do I have to pay the 10% fee? They&'ve been &"keeping me informed through text messages&". I tried to walk him through the logic that telling customers you have no information is not keeping them informed. He reiterated that Ashley had kept its end of the deal by keeping me informed. Manager had good news today though, half of my sectional will arrive on Aug 22. (Strange that a local store manager can see this info, when corporate had told me 15 min prior that they had no idea when it would arrive). Manager told me that I had to escalate this to corporate if I wanted to keep trying to get the fee waived. &"That&'s just the way it is right now&". Forcing customers to pay 10% fees because you can&'t hold up your end of the bargain while blaming COVID-19 is just bad business. I work in supply chain and manufacturing and I know that good businesses and manufacturers are still able to source globally despite COVID-19. COVID-19 was an excuse that worked for about 5 days back in April. Ashley Home Store, if you insist on selling products you don&'t have and can&'t deliver, then stop enforcing the 10% fees. Placed order in June, was told items were in stock. Received 3 delivery dates. Told it would now be September. While there, another customer came in with exact same complaint. I understand COVID may cause delays, but to promise 2 weeks but 3 months not acceptable. To make issues worse, I only found out September delivery after I called to see what happen with my missed delivery (a delivery that I had confirmed). I cancelled order!

I came into the store to purchase furniture for my new place. This was on May 4. Now I understand what we have going on in the world but almost three months later and I still dont have my furniture!! I am highly disappointed in this service. No one can tell me what's going on and then customer service left me on the phone for 30 minutes and I'm still holding!!! Ridiculous
We had a great experience at Ashley’s. Zedric welcomed us. We told him we were finalizing our plans to place order and wanted to look freely through the showroom. I bought a living room set less than six months ago and my recliner broke. No big deal, the sales lady told me they carry a good one year warranty but their furniture never breaks. So I’ve made an hour and a half drive to the warehouse where customer service told me to take my recliner anytime 8-4 for it to be fixed, just to be told to turn around because they don’t do that. Trying to get in touch with someone is a joke, finally got someone who told me to send a message to an email address, now it’s a week later and no response and my recliner is still broken. When someone makes this right, I’ll change my review. But I’ll never purchase from Ashley again.

I was promised delivery 6/30. Driver said he would be there. No show. I was promised a second delivery on July 9th. No show. $5K+ later zero furniture. Sleeping on the floor. True story!

Rudy was awesom . I came in the store and was welcomed by him. He asked what was I shopping for. I told him and he went above and beyond to find my items I wanted. He then helped me pick out a mattress as well. The next day signing my agreement the young lady in the finance department who was extremely nice and knowledgeable helped me with my agreement and explained everything from top to bottom. She also made sure I didn't feel like I was not being helped or forgotten. I wish I could remember her name but I can't and feel bad about it. She just got the position. I'm no longer a fan. I had two Ashley's credit cards. I went to purchase furniture for an upcoming move since I hadn't used the cards they dropped them to a zero credit. I wasn't aware I had to keep buying furniture every month to keep 8000 in credit. What a crock. I'll buy my furniture else where
Overall good experience. The sales rep allowed us to browse while still being available to answer questions. Continually, we were given multiple options before making our final purchase. I believe the rep allowed us to come to the best solution before making my purchase. My main problem was the sales manager wasn’t wearing a face mask despite store policy and Memphis law stating it is mandatory (I feel our leaders should lead by example in all aspects).

The absolutely worst "service after the sell" I have ever experienced. I am trying to be patient and understanding due to the issues they may have faced from the pandemic but this is ridiculous. I am still waiting on a. piece of furniture that was supposed to be delivered March 26th and today is June 10th and still no furniture. Of the furniture that was delivered one piece was damaged and still no ETA on the replacement piece. I've called the customer care line, some representatives have been helpful and apologizing for the lack of service but still nothing. Waited on hold for 26 minutes then the rep put me "on hold"....we got disconnected but they didn't bother to call back. Dont call the store!!! they don't want to be bothered with you after the sale. You've been warned!

I went to the Ashley's HomeStore on Winchester this evening, I was in search of a Living room suite, I wanted to actually see the Darcy 3pcs suite and was escorted by Cameron, which was a great help. I saw the suite and chose the color I wanted and was able to examine the suite and feel the material. I purchased the recliner, loveseat and sofa... I am looking forward to enjoying it very soon. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE The only reason they have good ratings is because they bribe people with a chance to win a gift card if you leave a good review!!!! I don’t feel like typing out the whole story so I’m going to bulletpoint the main points 1. It took a span of almost 4 months to get all of our furniture mainly because the people answering the phones did not change our address after we told them multiple times so they just gave out furniture to the next person in line and made us wait an extra month to get ours. 2. Half of my sectional wouldn’t fit through the door and I wouldn’t sign the form saying I had received it because I didn’t want to pay a re stocking fee so the delivery guy FORGED MY SIGNATURE so he could go home for the day (it was 5:15pm) because he didn’t want to wait on the store manager to answer the phone 3. We spent right at 10,000$ and every single piece we got was damaged in some way, the delivery people screwed our 2,000$ bed frame beyond repair and corporate refuses to fix it even after we reported them to the BBB. (Multiple stripped screws that will not allow us to take it apart when we move) 4. They (corporate) BLOCKED mine and my wife’s number AND email because they messed up our order up so bad and got tired of losing money. And every time we called the store they would just put us on hold until we hung up. 5. They damaged our walls bringing it in and refuse to fix them because they won’t talk to us to resolve any of this. We have been promised compensation more times than I can count and they just ignore us after that. And SO MUCH MORE. I have NEVER in my life been treated so badly by any buisness including fast food employees. Ashley is the most unethical, disorganized, unstructured buisness I have ever seen in my entire life. Do yourself a favor and buy furniture literally anywhere but here!!!!

I had a horrible experience with Ashley HomeStore. They delivered the wrong bed and the bed they delivered wasn't even set up correctly. Not even 12 hours after set up the bed completely broke. I had to wait almost three weeks before I got a response. Even after asking for someone to come fix the wrong bed they refused. I wanted a complete refund and they refused because I was getting a new bed (this new bed was the bed I actually ordered). They never responded to my calls and I had to resort to negative reviews. Finally, Karey Fleming reached out and when I followed up, they never called or email me back. This fiasco occurred in January and it is almost April and still no response. Poor management all around. They offered me a measly $50 giftcard as if I am ever going to be shopping here again. STAY AWAY.
Our Sales Professional Lacassia Holcomb was great. She answered all of our questions and made sure we had everything we needed. Her conservation was very pleasant while processing our order. She did an excellent job, She greeted us when we entered the store and did not follow us around annoying us. The atmosphere in the Store was great. I told her she would be the person for me when I come back to get more items.

I will tell my experience in details here: I ordered a 12 inch mattress on sunday, which was supposed to come on Tuesday in 2 days. But on monday i saw a better deal for 14 inch and it was cheaper than 12 inch mattress.And i asked the sales person to modify it,which they didn't. I called them again on tuesday to modify it and my delivery was postponed by a week. Now for a week i have to sleep without a mattress,and when i asked them to cancel my order as amazon delivers in two days,they are taking 10% restocking fee which does not make any sense as the item is not even placed. PLEASE DO NOT BUY IT FROM HERE,BUY FROM AMAZON THEY HAVE BETTER CANCELLATION AND DELIVERY POLICY AND ALSO IT IS CHEAPER.

ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE! They delivered the wrong furniture, and damaged my house in the delivery process. Over the next few days my wife and I kept calling them AGAIN and AGAIN and were transferred from one person to another. No body was able to solve our problem. They refused to put the manager on the phone with us. After 3 days, and multiple phone calls, I got fed up and went to the store and demanded to speak to the manager. I eventually cancelled the order as I did not want to deal with this branch any more. I was told I will get a refund. The refund has not come and I am now getting texts from them to schedule delivery for this order. When I called them back to inquire WHY my order was not cancelled, I was told they will need to talk to the manager and get back to me. Later that day, they called and told me I would have to come back to the store in person as the manager is not available to talk to me!!! I asked for the manager's name and was given a first name --- they refused to even give me the manager's last name!! I WILL NEVER EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS AGAIN!!
Barbara Garrison (Tupelo store) and Zedric Macklin (memphis store) truly went the extra mile for me today. I appreciate that they ordered a part for me and did not send me to yet another customer service number. I had been through the run around with the call centers already and they heard me and answered my problem. Their customer service is a rare gift to customers and the type of experience that keeps customers coming back and loyal to Ashley.
The worst experience EVER. Was told our delivery would be 1/24/2020. The Delivery men showed up with chairs but no dining room set. Nobody seemed to understand why. After reaching out to our sales rep, Lacassia she attempted to get a credit with her manager, Zedrick who had absolutely no regards to our concerns. We then Contacted the corporate office who was extremely rude and hung up on after holding for 17 minutes. I really regret walking in this store. However, we will never shop at an Ashley again.

My husband and I visited this store on July 20th and ordered a chest, two mattresses and a dining table from Ar’Tesia who was very helpful and assured us we would have the furniture by August 22 when we were moving to a new house. We loved what we ordered and were quite happy....until!! On August 9th, I called to find out if we could pick up the mattresses ourselves and was told we could and directed to the warehouse. At the warehouse, I was told that the mattresses were not in and they didn’t know why the store told me that. So the next day, I stopped at the store to inquire and was told that the mattresses were not in and that they, along with the table and Chest would be delivered on September 12th, which is not at ALL what Ar’Tesia told us at the time of purchase. We explained to her that we had to have the furniture on the 22nd of August and that if we couldn’t get it, we understood, but would have to go somewhere else. I stayed at the store for over two hours trying to get answers and resolution. I met with the manager, Mr. Maclin, who was nice and assuring....however, he didn’t do one thing he promised!! He told us the dining table was the problem on the order, and offered a loaner table until ours came in. He assured me he would call the next Monday as soon as he could talk to the warehouse. Never heard from him. Ar’Tesia was out of town in training. Every time i tried to get answers to when our furniture would be delivered (to a rural area...Ashely only delivers there on Thursday), I was told someone would call me back. Finally, I was directed to the Guest Response team. What a mess that was! After numerous calls, visits (store is 15 miles from our home in Memphis), and no one EVER returning a call, we arranged for everything we ordered, but the dining table, to be delivered on August 22, and arranged for my sister-in-law to drive 90 miles to meet the delivery. The two mattresses were fine, and we did get the promised LOANER table, but the chest was damaged heavily. The drawer wouldn’t close. She was told by the delivery men, they fixed it and she tried to open the drawer a bit and it worked, so she took them at their word. After they left, she noticed three screws on the floor and pulled on the drawer to open it and then it would not close. When I arrived the next day, I took pictures of the damage and sent them to Ar’Tesia who said she opened a claim. Still no word on our dining table. Never heard a word from Ashley - although I did get the bill for the dining table that hadn’t been delivered. I called again - no return call. I was told again by the store to call the Guest Response Team. I did and was told there was no claim on the chest and that my dining room table had been delivered and they had photos of it in my room! I explained it was a loaner table and the GRT told me that that was the table I ordered. It gets longer, so I’ll stop...suffice to say the Worst Customer Service Experience you can imagine....they acted like they could have cared less if I ever got the table I ordered or an undamaged chest. Numerous visits to the store, at least a dozen phone calls, several promises to call me back...and no follow-through. You might expect the sale to go OK....but don’t count on delivery of what they sold. I received the table on Oct 3...and it is the LAST thing I’ll ever buy from Ashley Furniture...especially the Winchester store. Just a follow-up on this review. I did receive an email from M. Parker, customer service, asking for contact information associated with my order so they "could reach out and provide a solution". Note, they should have my contact info on the order, but I did send the contact email and phone. That was November 11th. Never heard from them again. So, I stand by my no follow-though comment.

Ordered a sectional and a reclining sofa from them. Sectional was delivered a month later and has been great. After two months and 4 delivery attempts, I finally had to get a refund for the reclining sofa. Every time I called the store to get the situation handled, I was put on hold for over 10 minutes only to be told the salesperson was “in a meeting” or “with a customer”. Yet every time I set foot in the store, there were 5+ employees standing around and not a customer in sight. My messages were either ignored or returned days later. I even had a salesperson tell me “I’ll call you back in a few minutes” and “you’ll hear from me by the end of the day” only to never receive a call back. Not only was the customer service lousy, but the delivery teams sent over were lazy and looking for any excuse to avoid working. I have no desire to ever do business with Ashley Furniture again, specifically the Winchester location. If I want an Ashley Furniture product, I’ll visit a local furniture store or buy online through someone else. I give a rating of one star only because zero isn’t an option and I like the sectional I actually received.
My in-store experience was good; however, the delivery portion is where the problem comes. In the store, I was told that I would be CALLED to set up a delivery time. That didn't happen. In fact, I was texted from an automated system with a delivery time already selected--a time I am at work. I tried calling the delivery department on the day of and even three days before my delivery to have them come at a time when I'd be at home. No. So now I have to schedule another day to have my furniture delivered, and they'll probably pick a time I won't be at home to accept it. There is no attempt to even work with the customer to deliver furniture that has been paid for.
Honor your warranties. My Grandson bought a Queen Best Adjustible Base. The head motor broke. This was a few weeks after he purchased it on 9/29/19. It is still broke. He was told to call the factory which he did. Still broke. He paid 200.00 for a 10 year protection plan. For what?
I initially went for some chairs but ended up purchasing way more than expected. Although, I cringe when people hover, the service was great. Ms Shirley assisted with finding lovely pieces for my home. I had my niece and busy daughter, but that did not interfere with her service.

The store didn't have the color I wanted so she checked with the warehouse and they had one I could pick up that day. From the time I entered the store to the time I was sitting in my new recliner at home was about an hour. Great shopping experience!

Ashley furniture need to train their associates on their customer service skills. I purchased a dinette table and chairs on November 13th When I purchased it I was told it would be delivered on Dec. 4. On December 4th they brought me a damaged table and no chairs. I was told by the store associate that customer service should have called me and told me my chairs was on back order, they would be delivered Dec. 19th. 2 days ago I received and email for confirmation of the delivery, yesterday I received a phone call for confirmation of delivery. today I received a text message saying they would be at my house in 10 minutes so I left work to come home and they never showed up. I called customer service and after 4 times calling (being hung up on 3 times) the lady said she dont know why i received the text message because my chairs are still on back order. when I went to the store she told me I wouldn't receive my chairs until December 30th. I asked for a refund because I feel it is poor customer service to keep giving a customer the run around about merchandise that they purchase.
Please don’t go we ordered furniture missing an end table they admitted it wasn’t delivered but the driver closed the ticket this happened on December the 4th they said can’t give me my end table because ticket was closed and no one can get it back open. Go to their face book wish I had before shopping with them a lot of people had the experience they are nice until you paid for your furniture . Beautiful store and furnishings! I was looking for an exquisite master bedroom comforter set in a solid cream or ivory color. I didn't see one here. Most items have some type of print or pattern. Grey is popular in this store at this time. I don't usually decorate by the current colors in style. I buy styles and colors I like.

Beware !! .. Ashley Homestore traps you !! Yup, all I did was place an order for a sofa at Ashley Homestore. The sofa was on a deal that costs $299 but with delivery fees and taxes, the total was $404. Please note that the earliest delivery date that they could give me is 31 Dec 2019. In less than 24 hours, I went back to cancel the order because of personal reasons. Out of the $404, Ashley was refunding me only $274 !!! .. They said the delivery fees and taxes are not refundable ! .. In addition to that, they are charging me a restocking fee !! .. It’s not like I am returning a product after getting the delivery. I am pretty sure, not a soul would have even touched the product in the warehouse. I didn’t want to throw away my hard earned money $130. So regretfully, I asked the guy in the store to reinstate the order. I deeply regret going to Ashley Homestore and I swear I will never go there ever to purchase anything !! .. I hope their sofa atleast lasts a while ! I will NEVER NEVER NEVER recommend this place to anyone. I am telling this with a lot of disappointment, not with anger. 😞

Worst customer service I’ve ever seen. They ordered the wrong sofa, delivered wrong sofa. I had to reorder the new one. It’s been a month without a sofa. Today was finally the delivery day and they sent the wrong piece. They sent a full loveseat instead of the left side sofa piece to my sectional. Unreal! Do not Oder from here at all. I missed days at work, and when I call they bounce you around until no one helps and your left in the same miserable boat you started with! I would never recommend using them ever! The worst case I ever dealt with customer service!

I’m really upset with my Ashley experience. I have purchased a furniture item from them before with no issue but the order that I am currently dealing with now is really making me not want to buy from them again. I purchased a tv stand in store and when it arrived it was later than the arrangement time, and was broken by the movers. It was late at night so I rejected it and called customer service the next day and the rep was uncaring and nonchalant that my order had been messed up. A week later (today) they sent the replacement tv stand and once they brought it in the movers realized it was not assembled correctly at the warehouse and there was nothing they could do to fix it. I was told bluntly by a rep that they called that Ashley could give me an exchange or I could reject the order yet again either way I was going to have a wait another week. I understand things happen, but I am upset that no one seemed to care that the product was not satisfactory or that my time was being wasted. I had a bitter feeling after the mover left and called and spoke with a rep again who was much nicer than the other two and was offered to take the delivery fee off. I just feel like I went to a well known and respected furniture store to avoid issues like this and right now I am very dissatisfied and I’m sure when they deliver the same item yet a 3rd time something else may be wrong with it, and Ashley will more than likely will lose my business forever.
I shop at the different locations of Ashley, but this visit, the store just seemed a lot boring. The prices seemed to be raised even though I was being told things were on sale. It was like they picked a price they liked for certain things then every item, for example, a lamp no matter how it was made, what size, or materials it was made of... they all cost the same set high price!

NEVER BUY ASHLEY FURNITURE unless you like being treated poorly by corporate, customer service, and the warehouse. Or if you like for your furniture to arrive in terrible condition. You should buy from them if you love having to ask your boss to take off work 3 separate occasions to receive the replacement furniture for the furniture they ruined and it to, will be damaged. It’s a great experience all around when every time you get in contact with someone from Ashley to address the issue and EVERY person says there’s nothing you can do about that, you will have to wait on corporate to contact you, AND THEN THEY NEVER DO! And I especially love the false promises of “oh well this next delivery we will do it on your schedule” but they set the delivery for 9am on a work day and when you call to ask to reschedule for a time that works for you, the delivery is cancelled all together and when you try to reach out to someone to correct that, no one answers the phone. Ever. I’m growing very tired of using my entire lunch break every single day trying to get my furniture issue resolved. My entire group of family and friends have all decided we will never buy Ashley furniture again after everything that’s happened. The only people who have been remotely helpful are the store manager and the nice young women who run the phones at the store. But they can only do so much to resolve the issue. I’m ready to return the furniture and take my business else where.
Sooo many pieces of drop dead gorgeous furniture. I don't see a need to visit any other stores to furnish my home. Sales person was nice and the delivery guys were prompt and professional. You go Ashley Home Store, you'll be seeing me again soon!(
I received exceptional service today. From the moment I walked through the door I was greeted with a warm welcome. I went in not sure of what I wanted and not sure if I could afford what I found. I was assisted by 2 very sweet young ladies by the name of Lacassia and Allison. They worked with me and informed me of what my options were. I was not pressured or hassled. They gave me complete control of my desires. They listened and were both very patient with me. I would recommend them to anyone. The selection of furniture that Ashley Furniture has is amazing. They literally have something for everyone.

I went into the Ashley Store on 9/2/2019 and picked out furniture. I STILL HAVE NOT received my dining room chairs as of yet. I had to take off on 2 different days already for deliveries. When my table delivered there were no chairs. I was then told they were on back order. I KEEP asking for a delivery AFTER 5. I am told we can schedule your date but not the time. NEVER EVER AGAIN in life WILL I PURCHASE FROM HERE. Great America Home Store here I come.
Today we went in expecting to pick a chair. (Due to wrong information) we casually were looking at beds for a future purchase as it’s time to replace our existing bed. We were greeted by Jonathan he was able to help us find the mattress we fell in love with. Jonathan was full of knowledge. Not only did we purchase our mattress, but we found perfect pillows as well. We truly can’t wait to have our new Tempur Pedic Breeze mattress in our home, and begin getting a great nights sleep! thank you so much for great customer service.

We saw the bedroom suit on line and really liked the look. We ordered and 2 days later we received the furniture. The quality was wonderful and exactly what we expected. What a wonderful experience! No issues and delivery was on time.
Got lift chairs for our parents they are nice but much smaller than the pictures. However our parents like them.

I purchased my bedroom furniture two and half months ago. All.the furniture was damaged every single piece. I have been to the Winchester location every Saturday noone can tell me anything no results the furniture is sitting in my garage for over a month and half. They want to exchange it but there is nothing g in the store I want. No one knows anything They just give me.the corporate number and when I called to the corporate office they tell me there is no corporate office in Memphis. I went to the Southaven store the manager was afraid to help me there and he just said he knows how that store customer service and how unconcerned they are about satisfying their customers. I called Mr. Macklin he says he's going to call back but doesn't. I had Ms. Warren sales manager say the same thing no calls. I put my hard earned money into the furniture and time driving to each store to hear the same answer.

They are horrible and doesn&'t deserve a star! I ordered my furniture a month ago and when I receive it I get the wrong headboard! The CONTRACTED drivers were nice and tried their best to give me the correct headboard. Even stated he&'d pick up my headboard and deliver it to me. Ashley this time FORGETS my headboard, mind you this is the second night with NOTHING to sleep on. I will never order from this place again! And I will be sure to tell others about my experience! When you call they don&'t care over the phone what you are going through.
We bought a mattress that began to sink on both sides where we sleep, so Ashley did an 'exchange'. My wife has a bad back and we were unable to decide exactly what mattress we wanted, so our sales rep and the manager explained as long as we slept on it for 30 days, if we didn't like it then we could return it and get a different mattress. Well, 30 days passed and the mattress still felt like a concrete barrier. We called and asked when would be a good day to get a different mattress, only to NOW be told that we can't return it because it was an 'exchange'. Our sales representative was Lee, and I cannot remember the manager. But this is highly unprofessional and morally wrong...we have spent thousands at Ashley in the last but we will never buy there again nor will we refer anyone there.
I purchased a new bedroom set from Ashley furniture on Winchester road Memphis TN. We it arrived to my home all pieces were damaged and they not picked it up yet it's in my garage still. They want me to pick something else there's nothing I want in the store. I had the damaged furniture for two months it took one month to get the furniture. I have call everyone to get some assistance no one k owns anything. Poor customer service. I had to the Winchester four times before someone tried to assist me. I dont understand. I paid my money but no results yet. I so disappointed and dissatisfied with Ashley furniture store.I will never shop there any. Please come get furniture out of my garage. I tried to post the pictures but I couldn't.

First off when I walked up to the door they have all these great mark downs sitting outside!!! But the piece I wanted someone was about to purchase it. . . But my awesome sales rep came right over and saved the day she found me something similar for a cheaper price!!! The store is really nice and well keep. . . So many beautiful pieces to choose from. . . I'm going back next week to pick me out a new bedroom set. . . .

I originally purchased a bed and mattress back in May. I was told I wait to have the items delivered once I moved in late July- sounds great right? Moving date came around and I called to place the order to have it delivered. I was told it wouldn’t be ready for another two weeks. Two weeks went and came and I was told it would be longer. Fast forward to 7 weeks later and still don’t have the products I ordered. I had to call the store three times to try and cancel my order. I was told several all times someone would call me to address my concerns and it never happened. I called one last time and had someone possibly get me some help however when I asked when the issues would be fix I was told I needed to call back again. This is by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I felt like I wasn’t a valued customer or person.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH ASHLEY FURNITURE!We went to store on 7951 Winchester Road Store, Memphis TN 38125 in March of 2019 and purchased a dining set, server, three sofas, a coffee table with two matching end tables. Paid cash. On 4 separate occasions I was told that the furniture was delayed and that the delivery date would have to be rescheduled.It has been 6 months that I have been waiting for delivery of the goods I ordered. I decided that I would cancel my order because of this issue. I went into the store and explained my situation. However, the Manager, Chuck, was far from friendly and in fact was very arrogant and rude. He kept pushing me to not cancel. He told me that he would have to charge a 10% cancellation/restocking fee for goods that I did not receive or that were even in stock for 6 months!!! He insisted that corporate wouldn't be able to let him reverse the 10% fee but that if I decided I wanted to keep the furniture that he would take an extra $500 off. I called customer service and they told me that they had nothing to do with what the stores charge and that I would have to deal with them directly. Customer service is absolutely no help at all. I have been waiting over 15 days for my refund and NOTHING! Called the store again and was told that the store issued me a credit and that they would refund my debit card but that it would take a further 7 days. Absolutely disgraceful. This has been the worst furniture buying experience ever. Wish I could leave no stars! Will never shop here again and I will make it my mission to spread the word of my buying experience and the bad service and withholding of 10% of my order.
Looking for some bedroom furniture for my daughter. Went by the store to look at what we found online and met LaCassia. We found what we were looking for but wanted to think on it. She texted me the next day as planned and today we went back and bought exactly what we needed. She was fun and very easy to work with. She had great product knowledge and even showed me a couple of additional pieces I am planning to purchase in the near future. The showroom is very well laid out, near and clean. Great selection of furniture. I will definitely be back and if you go by ask for LaCassia. She is awesome!
I will never shop here again. The delivery service is the worst. I have had three delivers from Ashley and they are always late. They give you a three hour window and still don't make the time. And if you aren't there three hours later, you have to wait two more weeks before you are able to get your furniture. Then i get the short end of the stick. The store and the warehouse isn't on the same page. The store tells me they don't have my furniture anymore and i have to wait until August 2 before I'm able to get it. Mind you that this is the second time one of my piece was suppose to be delivered but it didn't arrive in time to make the truck. So then i have to wait two more weeks for that. Then i go to the warehouse to be told that my furniture was there and they don't know why the store told me this. So when i get it home and unwrap it, I'm missing my seat cushion and pillow. Now i have to wait 7-10 days before i get that. No one not even the manager wanted to help. I've called customer service and even reached out via email. They want your number, that goes to the account and you don't hear anything else. No one actually tried to rectify the situation. They only gave me the run around. It's everybody else fault. No one want to be held accountable. When Ashley furniture get their money, it's forget about the customer.
Terrible experience with Ashley Furniture on 7951 Winchester Rd, Memphis, TN 38125! Wish I could leave no stars. The customer service was helpful in explaining the situation to us. However, when it came to the delivery, it was a different story. We had to reschedule delivery and found out the bed was sold out of bedroom set that was purchased UPFRONT! If it was purchased without financing, it should have been secured and not sold out. The next date for the bedroom set to be delivered was set for a week past when it was needed. The 10% restocking fee was ridiculous, seeing as we never saw the products. There have been many reviews that have been similar to this and the system needs to change. Highly disappointed with the shopping experience at this store and will never purchase from this store again.

Communications at this store is horrible. The front desk ladies don’t deliver messages to the people in sales and in management. Their delivery department is unprofessional. They drink and do drugs on the job. I called cancelled a table set weeks ago. But, the ladies at the front desk didn’t cancel it. Their service as a whole is not good. I will not buy another piece of furniture from them.
Went in yesterday looking for a “clearance” dining table. Didn’t find what I needed in that category. Came out of the store having purchased a lovely bedroom suit!!!
I have been shopping at Ashley store for years. I was doing some spring cleaning and found my receipt from buying my sofa and love seat. I decide to go to the store with the receipt because if you don't used the warrant that was purchase 5 years ago, I can used it as store credit. Well guess what the associate was so help I used it for something I wanted. I love Ashley Homestore and will be back soon. If feels good to be treat well.
Confirmed delivery date in store was not honored. The "fine print" was not discussed about a secondary confirmation that will cancel delivery. You cannot just get a refund either without a 10% penalty fee. Bad Experience, will never return!! *Update* - after the three initial phone calls, all from me, with no willingness to "make this right" from anyone I guess I have to live with the month delay in my delivery since I had no choice.

This store opens at 10am but after waiting 30 minutes for some to unlock the door I decided to leave! I knocked on the door and people walked past the door looked at me and kept walking. Will not be back due to the lack of care for their customers and this store is just managed poorly/ needs to be shutdown.

We had an excellent experience at this Ashley store! Our salesperson Karen was extremely helpful and made it so easy for us to pick the perfect couch! And It wasn’t just Karen, the entire staff was very friendly and helpful. The guy I’m assuming is the store manager, ( so sorry I can’t remember his name) was excellent! He was a very personable guy and extremely nice to get to meet. Would recommended this store to anyone thinking about a new sofa or furniture!

I would not recommend Ashley Furniture. Although, I had a good experience with the sales guy and the manager. My delivery was over an hour late. When you are given a three hour window and then receive a phone call 1 hour and 18 minutes before that window expires to say that there are two more deliveries ahead of you but rest assured that your furniture will be there within the hour and then more than an hour goes by and no word from Ashley, it makes you pretty upset. I mean I had to adhere to all of their rules (stay home, move furniture, confirm delivery by 2 pm the day before and answer their one phone call immediately) or my consequences would be that my furniture delivery would be rescheduled to another day and I would have to pay an additional delivery fee. However, Ashley Furniture has no consequences. I called the customer service response team (CSRT) three times after the delivery guy called and failed to show up by the time he stated and/or the deadline (time frame) that I was given. Even after one hour passed the deadline, I was told there were still two deliveries ahead of me, but only after I called them. When the very overworked delivery team finally showed up they were exhausted, sweaty and one of the three delivery guys was complaining about everything while the other two did all of the work. The person in charge of scheduling the deliveries must be someone that knows nothing about actually doing work and/or allowing the correct amount of time per delivery because my delivery was seriously way out of the time frame. I was told by the CSRT that I would be called within 24-48 to address the issue and to see about reimbursement for the failures. More than 48 hours has passed and I have received no such phone call nor any type of contact from Ashley Furniture. This entire time I have only received that one phone call on the day of delivery to basically confirm that I was home and that they would be there within the hour and that did not happen. I called them about the cut on my couch and was told to submit pictures but have not done so as Ashley Furniture has not even reached out to me after the delivery mishap and after stating they would do so and I do not see them doing so in regards to the damage either. I am really glad I did not spring for the additional furniture coverage as I can only imagine how it would go if I had a problem. After all of this I ended up with a cut on one of my furniture pieces and I cleaned up all of the trash (zip ties, plastic, brochures) from what the delivery guys left in my living room from the furniture including the Gatorade bottle tossed out onto my road as they pulled up late. We are highly disappointed. UPDATE: The executive team has been made aware per the Ashley Homestore response person below and still no one has contacted me. I called the 800# for the CSRT one more time the other day and was literally told to email their complaint department. Yeah like that will help. I am tired of the clowning around.

The sales person was helpful in finding what we were looking for.We had furniture delivered and they forgot the pegs that went in our tv stand. The delivery men lied and said someone would bring them to us that evening. We tried talking to someone and that didn't help. We went to the store to get some but they gave us 12 instead of 24 and they were the wrong ones. My husband ended up going back to the store the next day to get some and they had to take some off one of the entertainment centers on the floor. I was upset because they lied to us and we called back several times and they kept passing us to different people with no help. Please do better when your customers have a problem so small that could have been easily fixed with a few pegs.
The manager as well as my sales lady were cert very patient as listen to my desires and worked hard to meet my needs. When I need more furniture I will ask for the same sales person. I gad an excellent experience.
Our sales associate was extremely nice thoughtful when it came suggestions and pricing. She was skillful enough to know what we needed as far as pricing and what made since as opposed to just making a sale!

I'm so frustrated with this company. I will never purchase anything else from this store. I purchased mattresses and I thought I was opening up an installment loan with the store but later found out through my credit company, that I had opened up a credit card and had maxed it out, dropping my credit score 30 points. I was not told that I was applying for a credit card to purchase furniture and henceforth, there's is nothing I can do about but pay it off or suck it up. So please know and understand what you are signing up for because they will not tell you and truly believe I was frayed on behalf of this company.

My first time shopping at Ashley Home Store. I originally came in to browse and get ideals for a house I'm scheduled to move into in 45 days. I was introduced to a worker name Tim Conway, that help me make a decision to choose AFHS. I was introduced to his wife and basically the whole team at Ashley Home Store. I felt comfortable spending my money there. And I'm happy with the selection of furniture I purchased. I will shop there again in the future.

This was my first time visiting this particular Home Store, and it was a great experience. From the time my daughter, granddaughter, and I stepped in the door, our salesman Tim had us laughing throughout our stay. I didn't intend to buy anything, I just wanted to look around. Tim stated that he didn't think he would be making a sale, but there it was, he's making a sale and I'm buying. I've never had fun buying furniture before. My granddaughter Zoei had a ball in the tree house. Thanks Tim, you're the best salesman ever.

DO NOT USE ASHLEY FURNITURE!!! I will never use Ashley Furniture ever again!!This has been the worst experience I have ever had with a company. They are full of empty promises just to make a sale. You never know if, or when you may receive your purchases. On February 13th 2019 I purchased a Sofa and love seat for my new apt. This was not my first choice due to the one I wanted would not be available until April. I went with a sofa that was going to be delivered on Feb 20th with the love seat being delivered on March 11th. On Feb 20th after confirming the sofa was on the way I got a call an hour later stating the Sofa was delayed until March 5th. March 8th I get confirmation both the sofa, and love seat will be delivered on March 12th. March 11th I call and get confirmation both will be delivered on time. ONE HOUR LATER I get a call the sofa is now delayed until APRIL 2nd!!!! But the love seat will still be delivered on the 12th between 2:15pm and 5:15pm. I leave work early to wait for the love seat. 5pm comes around and nothing! I call to see what's going on. They tell me the love seat was again delayed until March 17th. WHAT the HECK is going on over at their warehouse? DOES anyone even have a clue? It has been over a month, and I do not have a couch to sit on. I still do not know if I will ever get the couches because they apparently don't know ether. They just throw a date on your order, and hope for the best. DO NOT USE ASHLEY FURNITURE. I want to stand in front of their store, and warn everyone that comes by. I have never been so frustrated in my life.

I was not pleased with the warehouse pickup. I was there at 820am checked in I was 1st in line. Apparently that didnt mean anything. I sat until 930ish watching everyone get theirs. Finally went in and the reception said it was delivered to your vehicle already here is signed invoice by loader. No it wasn't it was given to someone else. So I had to sit another 45 minutes for that person to return so I could get mine. All I got from them was "sorry for the confusion have a nice day". Not happy1st time I shopped Ashley and will be the last.

I walked into the Hacks Cross location to make a payment on a layway made at the Germantown location and was greeted at the counter by Tim Conley when asking about mattress pads. Tim told me the importance of not just replacing a mattress pad, but the worth of a new bed and the benefits that come with it. Tim was a delight during the whole process and got me into a new Sealy mattress. He took his time and helped me find what was right for me. I can not wait until my mattress is delivered, it will help me with chronic back pain and sleeping issues. I will definitely use this location in the future and will recommend him to anyone looking to buy. Ashley home store has been amazing since moving from Michigan.
