Brandon in Mt Juliet was awesome to work with, going above and beyond helping me select my table and chairs. We have purchased several pieces from Ashley and they have been exactly what we needed.

The delivery men were very nice but broke the leg of the dresser! Have to wait for information on another one:)

I bought a bed-frame and matching dressers/nightstands back in December 2022, with professional installation. They came, assembled the bed frame, placed the bed on it, etc. and everything has been working fantastic. I decided it was time to replace our old mattress, so I removed it from the frame yesterday. When I removed the bed, I noticed many of the slats appeared off. I took a closer look, and noticed that most of the slats had no screws in them on either side. I looked up the assembly instructions, and saw that it clearly states you should screw all of the slats in. Upon inspection, I also noticed the slats were definitely warping in the middle, and that struct me as odd. It's a king-sized frame, and it wasn't cheap, so it shouldn't be crumbling in less than 3 years of usage. Again, looking at the installation instructions, it very clearly shows/instructs putting in a middle crossbeam for support, and that was never done - none of the slats had any middle support. Granted, this was three years ago, so I know it's all out of warranty, but this was definitely a faulty installation that I just now discovered was faulty. Between the slats now needing to be replaced and the "whiteglove PROFRESSIONAL delivery & installation" charges that didn't buy a professional installation, and the fact we decided to go with the 5-year payment plan (since there was no cash discount), I'm now continuing to pay for furniture that was never properly installed and is now damaged. The "customer care" team blamed me for not having a "protection plan" for your installation service. If I didn't catch this issue and trusted Ashley to made the bed correctly, it would've also ruined my new mattress. I called in the store, and they gave me a number to call that left me on hold for over an hour and half. I tried again today, and someone did finally answer, and informed me they will do nothing regarding this problem, since I don't have a protection plan. Of course, a protection plan is to protect against my usage, not bad installation. If you can't stand by your furniture and your installation process, then I can't be a repeat customer. I was happy with our furniture and would've considered buying more in the future, but with the apathy shown, I won't be. On top of that, now I have to figure out how to fix your bed frame and slats to properly handle a bed.

Approved for new line of credit with store do discount. Then employee ran charges for wrong pieces of furniture twice. So card was locked for fraud. Then was not able to get items I wanted. And it’s a whole ordeal to get card active again. 72 hours still have not been able to purchase items

They had some great deals on couches and sofas, Jeff was very helpful. He was very knowledgeable and was able to assist us with any questions we had. Over pretty good experience. Similar quality to designer couches such as crate and barrel or pottery barn, but not as expensive. Best of both worlds. 5/5. 👍

My salesman, Jeff, was wonderful. The nonstop notices, messages, telephone calls to let me know about my delivery was beyond ridiculous and bordered on harassment. I bought three tables in a set on Sunday afternoon. The delivery was scheduled for the following Wednesday between 9-12 pm. In less than 48 hours I received a total of 26 messages/telephone calls and AI messages. Once delivered, one of the tables was missing two legs, rendering it useless. No I will not be back.

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT PURCHASE FROMHERE. They will give you the run around after they sale you trash. My mother paid cash for furniture wasn’t even a month and it was falling apart. They have been giving her the run around since. They promise to come and fix it and never show up don’t waste your money

Went into the store to purchase a dining table and 6 chairs as advertised on the Company's website. Went to the store and found the dining table and 6 chairs and the representative sold us the product. Upon receiving the product, we received only 4 chairs even though we purchased the entire set with 6 chairs. Apparently, this company has no return policy so I am now stuck with the 4 chairs and the only way I can get the additional 2 is if I pay an additional $200. Company is a scam. The two times I have gone into the store in the last week, I always found the employees sitting around doing nothing. Last night while there, I saw 3 employees sitting on a couch together on their phone and I wasn't helped for 15 minutes. These people do not care about their job and lie to customers. Don't go here unless you want to be scammed.

I just want share my experience with Ashley furniture in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. We bought a dining room suit in November 13, 2022 with Furniture protection plan ; however, the Dining room table they delivered had scratches all over so I called them to let them know it had scratches so they said they would replace it so, they came and got the old one and replaced it with a new one which was great. The summer of 2025 my table got a buckle in it and my furniture protection plan was for five years & it covers that so, I said okay I’ll call them. I aso Ashley furniture to Either fixed or replace it with a new one they told me that they did not have that table any longer, so I asked them to then just give me a refund. They said they could not do that so, I said well how am I supposed to get this fixed? They didn’t want to fix it so, then they told me that I could get a credit for it which it was a total of $849.99. I went to their store to see if I could find something that I could buy with my credit. There was nothing in there that was even close to my table that I needed so, after calling them like 10 times and asking, can I get something else with my credit & they said yes. I found somethings online & told them what they were & the said I could not use my credit for online stuff. They told me to go to a store in Nashville and I did and I found some things that I wanted but I still can’t get anything so, I’m just telling you this all Ashley store are awful once you buy from them. DO NOT PURCHASE THE FURNITURE PROTECTION PLAN ITS WORTHLESS. They don’t wanna help you. They do not wanna give you credit if you have a problem with your furniture and you’ve already bought the protection plan, so my advice to you do not go to the stores.

If I could give negative stars, I would. I bought an $800 recliner here 2 years ago. I paid $200 for the warranty plan. The warranty company stated that the fabric is defective as it frayed and left holes exposing the chair padding underneath. AND that because it was a manufacturing defect, they will not cover the claim. IF I had cut it, they would have covered it. Ashley switched warranty companied 2 months after I bought my chair- because they knew they would cover claims. No one told me that! No one will refund the warranty Ashley blames warranty company. Warranty company blames Ashley. Yet, Ashley took the money. Ashley could make it right, but they tell me it is out of their hands!? Whatever, that is a lot of money for a damaged product that I did nothing but sit in it! Go to ROOMS TO GO! I called the phone number provided in response to my review. After 2 calls and another hour of my life wasted on this issue, nothing. Ashley states that they can send a technician for an upfront fee of $90 to assess the chair and order parts of unknown costs for that I also must pay. How are you going to replace faulty fabric? Since the warranty company denied the claim they cannot repair without charging me. And yet it is due fabric defect?

i needed two new couches to my house and at first i didnt know what i was looking for and i had went to other places to get some ideas and lets say they was not really helping or giving me ideas till i came to ashley's. it start at the one in Madison when i walk in talked about what i was looking for and they told me for my space i should look into couch then i seen the couch i knew i wanted it was the Leeshan Sofa if you are looking for a firm couch that does not sag or feels like the cushions are sinking into the couch this is the couch for you its super soft and firm. then i came to the here cause i wanted to get some final measurements and Marland Young come over to help me out and also gave me my space where i could think about it one last time but my choice was already made so got them ordered very easy simple process which again was super helpful and i had brought my own tape measure didnt need to they had a bowl full of tape measures. now we come to today they had delivered them to my house the communicate is spot on they would text, email and/or even called me to make sure that i was good with the day they was going to deliver the couch, the guys were way earlier then even i though and to be honest i thought it was going to be hard to get the couches thru the door but they fit in perfectly and they was all done and gone in about 6 minutes and was very carful if i or any of my friends are looking for new furniture then we will be back for sure if i could give more then 5 stars i gave 8

Experience at the home store was fabulous! The delivery was not so great! Missing cord, and sofa not connected properly on assembly, also the delivery truck tore up my front lawn on exit. It was a wet day and we did allow driving on the lawn but when leaving the driver went too quickly and left giant tire marks and tore up lawn that I have to now get fixed. Still waiting on word of when the other cord for the sofa will arrive.

We came to the Ashley store to purchase a good deal of furniture in a new rental. We didn’t really know where to start. Marlin helped us out room by room, patiently helping us make our choices. We went back and forth about what we wanted and how much it would cost. He was an amazing help, so kind, knowledgeable, helpful, and courteous. Every associate there greeted us even though they had nothing to gain except courtesy. The furniture was great quality. The close outs were good deals. We outfitted the rental home in one afternoon thanks to his help. We’ll definitely be back!

I do not like the way you confirm a delivery three times. If I didn't answer even one time, it would have cancelled my delivery. I have recently purchased two other pieces of furniture and had no problem with the delivery. You should make the transaction more customer friendly or you will not have return sales.i do not plan to use Ashley in the future.

We purchased a living room suite at the MJ Ashley furniture. It was a floor model discounted set, but in no way was it said to us or in our paperwork that it was sold AS IS. They even tried to sell us the extended warranty. Within three weeks of having the new furniture the couch broke. The back of the right hand recliner wood broke in half and fell backwards. Upon looking inside the couch, the area that broke had about 20-30 nail brads into a previously broken spot. We called the store and was informed that floor models are sold AS IS, with no warranty. The set was originally over $5000, and we paid over $3000. If you offer an extended warranty, it stands to reason that is an extension of an existing warranty. Sorry about your luck is all we received. So with that, take your money and business anywhere but here. They sell pre-damaged, poorly crafted furniture and don’t back it up. Stay away.

I bought the "better than a bed frame" when I bought the mattress. It squeaks every time you move. Was told it was metal and nothing could be done. Had it less than 90 days. So now I have to exchange the mattress because that might help? Makes zero sense. So I am sending pictures to the warranty department to exchange the mattress. All over a $300 metal bed frame. I just want to return the frame at this point because of the squeaks. But they won't do anything with it. 1 year manufacturer warranty. Disappointed.

The movers arrived wreaking of weed and said the sales people will Say anything to make a sale! They tore our walls and flooring up, trying to take it up stairs! after trying to get furniture upstairs for 20 minutes one man came up and made me sign a waiver! I didn’t know at the time that there was damage, but I told him I didn’t want to sign the waiver until they were finished! He then went on to tell me if I wanted the furniture brought up to the room. I would have to sign it so I did sign it at that point! Then after a few minutes he came upstairs and told me it wouldn’t fit! Ashley has not helped at all to take care of this situation. All they say is that sorry for the inconvenience now my husband and I have to pay $2000 for the repair work and didn’t even get the furniture. Do not go to Ashley‘s!!

I’m not a huge fan of places that will “hover” and “jump you” with sales people, but the staff is friendly and knowledgeable and took care of me very well and very quickly. I also enjoy their products.

Most expensive and worse furniture I’ve ever bought! We bought a bedroom suit there a few years ago. The handles break off of the dresser and night stand all the time. They are thin metal and snap off and break . You should not have to buy a furniture warranty for handles . We are not rough with our furniture. We can’t get replacement parts. Do yourself a favor and buy your furniture elsewhere!

Marland was great! The staff was very helpful and friendly, the store was clean and well stocked. Even though the store didn’t have what I originally wanted Marland was great with helping me find something that would be perfect! I didn’t feel overwhelmed when I first walked in and they gave me time to do my own browsing without any pressure of a sale!

I was very impressed with the customer service. I was only there to window shop and look around to what had in the store. I shared with the employee and he respected my space and still shared great information. After walking around a little bit we came to the tempedic beds and was sitting and checking them out. Without pressureing us to buy one rather he educated us thoroughly about the different beds and what they offer. After about 20-40 minutes later I knew we wasn't going to purchase the bed that day. But I was moved to purchase a pillow that was 140 dollars. So now we look forward to purchasing the bed in the future, and the customer service was so great I just didn't want to leave empty handed. It was clean and no one was rude. When someone tries to pressure me into buying something it's a automatic no for me I wasn't pressured at all but rather educated and that moved me to buy something when I was there to only look A great experience always pays.

READ THE FINE PRINT. Do not trust the sales associates. My wife and I went there on February 9th and bought a sofa and a mattress. We originally had just gone to get a sofa but decided to check out mattresses while we were there. The associate (Ashley believe was her name) told us not to worry that we had 30 days to decide if we liked the mattress we were looking at. She had been showing us one of the most expensive ones which I wouldn't have even considered if there wasn't a trial period. I mentioned the 30 days multiple times and she reassured my wife and I that if we didn't like the mattress we could get our money back in 30 days. Yeah, that was not true. We didn't like the mattress after getting it. It was $3600 on sale after taxes. I called to see about returning it and was told no returns. I was then told I could exchange it for something more expensive or equal value and pay the difference. I told the person that is not what I was told. I went to the store and they told me the same thing. The guy at the Mt. Juliet store told me I could get something cheaper but I would take the hit. I told him that's not what the girl told me and he said I could come back tomorrow and speak to her but there are no returns or refunds on mattresses. To be fair we're stupid for not reading the fine print because people just say things to make their commission but what a waste. I like the couch but I'm tempted to return that on principle. I would not recommend going to Ashley. They mislead and the guy who I spoke to today at the store and the one on the phone couldn't have cared less. I'll never shop there again.

I bought half of my furniture at Haverty's and the other half with you. I should have given Havertys all of my business. What are you going to do about my floors??

I had to change my five star rating due to the poor condition of the table we received, lack of communication, and multiple false delivery messages. I have called many times and asked for a manager to be given the run around and be put on hold. I’m pretty sure we were sold a used or refurbished table when we were expecting new due to the flaws in different places on the table. Now I’m stuck trying to figure out next steps for a replacement. They have lost my business.

Any customers if you wants to buy any furniture or any stuff from this store first think ten times because they have very bad return policy. They don’t take return not only furniture the bed cover also. That’s why I suggested not to buy anything from Ashley.

I set a time window through their system and made arrangements to be available, and then a bot changed the window of time. DON’T SIGN FOR YOUR FURNITURE! Let this be a lesson from someone who is now stuck. We ordered a new sectional. It got delivered while wife was at home but I was at work. Wife thought it might be too big and we may need to change a loveseat section to a one seat section. We were told if it was too big, we could do this. We were NOT told that once it was delivered we couldn’t do this. When I got home, same day of delivery, we decided we wanted to change that one piece out. Sales lady said it would be no problem, call their customer service line and they would handle. We did and they told us it was too late (mere hours after delivery mind you) and there was nothing they could do. We texted sales lady back and didn’t hear anything. We were persistent and eventually she told us she would handle. We got run around for a few weeks and now are being ghosted. Will never do business here again and I caution you to do the same.

Stay as far away from this place as possible!!! I am leaving this review after having the same experience with this store twice already! First time bought a couch that took like 6 weeks to get delivered and customer service is horrible! Went in last month and they assured us that our experience was because of COVID and it wouldn’t happen again. We bought a bedroom suite paid in full. They said all items were in stock but rails. 2 weeks later delivery cancelled because NONE of the items were in stock. Delivery rescheduled for 7 days out. Received a text confirmation of delivery day before for 2-5pm. Made arrangements for time off work to be there and nobody called me or showed up! Called customer service again and was told items weren’t in and I had to reschedule another 7 to 10 days out! It had been a month by this point and we were sleeping in the floor. I said no I want a refund. Received email confirmation of refund and was told that would take up to 10 business days to process. We are past 10 days today and still no refund. You can’t get anyone at the store on the phone. Sales lady gave me her personal cell number and never returned my call. They lie and lie to make a sale then scam you. I will post this on every site and social media they are on and am filling a complaint against them. They bait and switch people. UPDATE: I contacted the numbers you left and they told me my refund was never processed!!! Even though I have a confirmation email from Sara Cruz on September 18th that it was. I spoke with Jessica and Kelly today who say there is nothing they can do. WHO IS THE CEO OF THIS COMPANY???

Great service and financing but the delivery times are terrible and the prices are just ok. Completely ruins the excitement of shopping to hear it will be a month before you’ll get your furniture.

I am truly disappointed in the service that I received from this store. We went to this location to purchase a new couch after moving into a new apartment. Since we live on the 3rd floor, and the entire reason we were buying a new couch was for the delivery service, which we paid for it to be delivered. When they gave us the delivery options, there were very few times that were afternoons during the week, which is already hard to navigate when my fiance and I work full-time to begin with. After deciding a time, the sales lady told us that if we needed anything to let her know, and we went home to wait for the delivery about a week later. When the day finally came to drop the couch off, which again was a weekday in the afternoon, my fiance left work during his lunch hour, as per the estimated drop-off time that they had given us (keep in mind the sales lady informed us that we would choose a time-slot a few days before drop-off, but the delivery people gave us a very vague estimation as to when they would be there that kept getting pushed back). Finally, they show up and my fiance is trying to help them navigate up the stairs. Before even attempting, the delivery guys looked at our stairwell and simply said that they could not do it and that their manager would reach out to them to schedule a different delivery time. Before he even got a chance to get a number from them, they left, leaving us without the couch. We immediately tried to get someone on the phone with customer service, which was nearly IMPOSSIBLE, and after finally doing so, she simply said that she could not help us, and a supervisor would call us back. Since that's exactly what the delivery guys said to us, and we still hadn't heard from anyone, we went back down to the store to seek help. Shocker, the sales lady we had purchased from was not there, and we talked to one of the managers, who was very nice. He reached out to the ware-house manager and emailed her in front of me to make sure she reached out to us to schedule a new delivery time. Our fear, however, was that they would do the same thing, because if they "couldn't" deliver it in the first place, what would have changed in between the delivery times? He reassured us they would send different people. Finally we got scheduled to a different delivery day, which again was very difficult to maneuver with our jobs. When they day came to receive the couch, they again kept pushing back the time frame for which we would receive it, which prevented us from doing anything the day of to wait for the delivery. Finally, they arrive, and it literally took 5 minutes to get it up the stairs that the other team declared was impossible to do. However, when they unpacked it and put it together the team discovered a hole in the fabric on the back of the couch. Now, something that every sales person has ever told me buying furniture is that if it is damaged MAKE THEM take it back with them. These delivery guys absolutely would not take it back and simply gave us the number to the warehouse manager who would figure out what to do with it, and they left... since I am reaching character limit, long story short, we still have not had a technician come out, and keep getting rescheduled to get the couch taken care of. It's been two months since we purchased it... Do not buy from this company if you care about customer services.

The salesman Corey was very knowledgeable and friendly, not pushy like some stores. I thoroughly enjoyed my shopping experience. The only problem I had was with the delivery process. I selected a date and time and kept getting texts, emails and phone calls about the delivery as if I had nothing else to do!! It became very annoying. Then the delivery times began to change on the notifications which is very disrespectful to the customer. Once you set your time, it should not be changed unless you are called and ASKED if it is OK. People work and there time should be respected.

Do not buy from Ashley Furniture. We ordered a beautiful and comfy couch here for our first home, we were so excited. Delivery was fine. But right after the delivery guys left we realized the couch was too big. So, that day we went in store to exchange it for a smaller size they said “it’s in your possession so we can’t do anything about it, here’s a guest service number you can call”. Called the number twice, was on the phone with them for a hour at a time and got no where. They just kept saying you can’t exchange or return it. It’s insane to me that a company can have no return or exchange policy at all. If we could give it 0 stars we would.

When it came for buying the couch! It would be a 5 star. The agent i worked with was fantastic. The shipping is what made me give this whole experience a 2/5 stars. I was originally told my couch would arrive Friday July 5th and they would call me to schedule a time for delivery. They didn’t call, there automatic system texted me and TOLD ME a time (which didn’t work for me) when I replied back I got the response “ Hi STEVEN, someone will contact you shortly.” No one contacted me. I had to call the next day to figure out what was going on. I was told that I lost my spot and I would have to pick a different date. The only other dates that really work are Sundays which they’re closed. I had to rewrite my schedule so I can have this couch delivered. here’s the kicker, they allowed me to pick the date, but I wont give let me schedule a time or give me the time for drop off until 48 hours before. So I have to keep my job on notices because the automated system hasn’t/can’t pick a time yet. I understand that most deliveries have windows and I don’t expect them to have an exact time of delivery like a pizza, but they could at least call me and let me pick what window works best for me and my schedule, not have me hanging in the wind. Once they got your money, Ashley doesn’t care about anything else.

Nice sales people ,however the support services suck, as the delivery people who first came didn't have my right parts for a bedroom suit and the sense of urgency from the warehouse was nil to none. Had to wait another week for side boards and slept in the floor until then. A contractor for Ashley's had to come and put the bed together after the part came in, and they we nice.

I bought more than $10,000 worth of furniture here on May 1st, and delivered it more than three times in the interim, which is a waste of time. The color of the bed and bedside table in one of the rooms is not matched. After the request for replacement, there has been no response. There is a base missing from all the items, and the salesperson actually didn't order it, which is very unprofessional and puts the responsibility on the customer. The delivery staff is very unprofessional and will scar the wall. In a word, I am very disappointed that I didn't feel professional service in every link. Never come back, ever!

Terrible experience, I purchased a recliner after being told the item was in stock, only to find out it's back ordered after driving a considerable distance to pick it up. I have yet to speak with anyone from the store after leaving several messages. I had to call customer service just to get the order canceled.

The in-store experience was not bad, but it was long. The salesman was nice, but very unsure of questions and had to leave several times and left us waiting for answers including the checkout process. The pricing of options was not visible in store and we had to take his word for it, and checkout was lengthy. After leaving the store, they delivered our purchase info by email and the address was wrong, the delivery date changed four times (from June 4, to June 5 in store, to June 6 by text and then a follow up text asking to confirm delivery dates with additional dates available at a later time). All this within two hours by their text messaging system, and items were incorrectly listed on our order (the wrong furniture accessories were attached). We are returning to the store to request a full refund and will shop elsewhere. I appreciate them trying to make this right but a series of mistakes did not leave me with confidence that delivery would happen and the product would be satisfactory.

My wife and I have previously shopped at Ashley HomeStore, and were happy with our experience. We have been discussing new bedroom furniture and mattress, so our first choice was Ashley. We were greeted by John, our sales person, and he showed us the mattress chouce we wanted, and allowed us to try different firmnesses, so we could get what was right for us. Then we were showed where bedroom furniture was , so we could select pieces that appealed to us. We also decided to buy new dining room furniture while at Ashley. John was a great sales person. He was helpful, yet left buying choices and decisions up to us. We highly recommend the Mt Juliet Ashley HomeStore to anyone wanting quality furniture and service.

After closing on a home in MJ, my wife and I are in the budget for higher end furniture that will last our life time. After getting decent reviews from our friends that chose Ashley Furniture, we decided to give it a try. We walked in, looked around and we were not greeted. We walked around the store for ten minutes, with the only employees we see, standing in the middle of the store, looking at us, but not bothering to approach us. This is completely typical now-a-days with my wife and I being young, but it goes to show we will be taking our business elsewhere!

John did a great job helping me select the right recliner. The store was very nice was my first visit. Smooth buying experience. Delivery Update: I was thoroughly impressed with the scheduling updates provided via text and email. The delivery team kept me well-informed at every stage of the process. Upon arrival, the driver, Allen, greeted me at the door with a friendly smile and introduced himself. He assured me that he would have the recliner unboxed, set up, and fully functional within 5 minutes. Remarkably, I timed him, and he completed the task in precisely 4 minutes and 21 seconds. It is evident that these professionals are dedicated to their work and waste no time in getting the job done. After their departure, I tested the chair and can confidently say that it provided the most relaxing experience I have ever had with a motorized recliner. I am completely satisfied with my investment, as the money was undoubtedly well-spent.

Well, my in store experience was fairly good. They just forgot one item I requested, but later added it at no charge. Since then, trying to get delivery has been horrible. They won’t even get on the phone and speak to you. They use a dumb text message system, and the customer service is the worst I’ve had. First my delivery was scheduled for May 23 5-8 p.m. They waited until the day before to let me know they didn’t have all the items and needed to cancel my delivery. Then they text me to today to reschedule for May 30 with no time window, expecting me to sit around all day and night. I explain that I live alone, work, and have multiple medical appointments. I just retired from the military and am trying to get established back home. They still refuse to offer a time window, nothing to help at all.

We had a great experience with John and the rest of the team! John was extremely helpful and kind through our whole experience picking out all the furniture that we needed for our home. He wasn’t pushing and he even found discounts where he could and went above and beyond for my family! They all worked as a team to get all the paperwork together for me once I knew what I wanted and made sure everything was correct for me. I highly recommend going to Mt. Juliet, Ashley furniture store!

I was well pleased with the service I received from the time I walked into the store until I left.

Everything was great while purchasing the bed and frame. After purchase they talked me into delivering it due too how “difficult” it was to set up. Once delivery guys showed up they set it up like they should. Wanted me to sign off on it but they only installed my frame my mattress was nowhere to be found. After finally getting support on phone they informed me that the frame was on another order that was supposed to be picked up. I was confused because if i was going to pick up one thing i would have picked it all up and saved 350$ instead i had to drive a hour and a half to pick up a mattress. The salesman told me there was nothing he could do to help me that he felt sorry for me though.with me needing this bed due too my wife being pregnant he said i could have it delivered in a few days. Obviously, that wasn’t going to work due to needing a bed now and giving mine away After speaking with tech-support, they offered me 5% off. I asked him what 5% off of my around $10,000 purchase was they told me $200 I do not believe that was fair at all highly upset with the customer service from Ashley home furniture after hearing multiple bad reviews Still decided to give them a chance, but made a mistake. Will never be using Ashley again due to the multiple different issues that occurred with the simple transaction.

Ashley Homestore made me feel helpless, and my wife afraid & anxious. Red flags 1. Company is unable to communicate issues are happening with customers 2. Company unable to communicate with itself 3. Company unable to share fulfillment phone numbers with customers 4. Employees too scared of being fired that they refuse to call their bosses. 5. Employees expressed frustration with not having next steps. 6. Company satisfied with leaving customer with no next steps to resolution. 7. Company prefers to threaten to call the cops to make a customer leave so that they can go home rather than help. Here is the story: Furniture was arriving for a new house that we were finally finished remodeling. We were excited after we picked out our furniture and purchased, which went fairly smoothly, that sales rep Danielle was awesome and deserves a raise and a promotion. The breakdown started during my workday when my wife writes me statements like "These guys r not friendly" and "I'm scared here with them I don't like their white glove treatment at all" and "Dropping chair n they don't understand any English" I talk to her and after making sure she feels safe enough not to stay on the phone with me, the men attempt to leave. When backing out their truck they drive their front wheels into soft grass on my property and get stuck. The men proceed to take stuff out of our shed without asking and try to get unstuck. Again my wife is not comfortable talking with these people so she stays out of it. We assume that a tow truck is coming but we receive no information. This began at 1:00 while I was at work and unable to make things happen. 4 hours later I'm off work and no tow truck, and we still have no information. My sister is blocked from her home on the property and she starts making phone calls trying to get answers - tow truck information, trucking company, anything. We talk to someone, and get promised a call back. We never received a callback. While waiting I'm blocked from getting to my home and am trying to stay out of the way of the hopefully tow truck that should be coming. Another hour goes by with the inability to reach anyone at Ashley Homestore. Not the store, not the call center, nobody. So I go to the store, and get no help. The salesperson at the store says their hands are tied, that they have nobody to call, that they can't call their boss for fear of being fired . She tried to reach out in back channels to get information. Ultimately it ends with them threatening to call the cops if we don't leave, not because I'm irate, but because they need to close the store and go home. I'm left helpless - no information, no contact information, and a severe lack of communication. Meanwhile, these two men are at our house without anyone coming to check on them. No food or toilet, and again my wife is not comfortable with these men due to their earlier behavior. My brother-in-law finally can come take care of them. Finally, the truck company contacted us at 9:15 when this process started at 1:00. A tow truck is 30 minutes away, maybe, apparently the trucking company has been trying and getting canceled on for hours and nobody talked to us. The vetting of these trucking companies is severely lacking. Do NOT go to Ashley Homestore, if you have a problem they are not equipped to handle it. Documenting red flag process updates they should consider to reduce these issues in the future. Instead of celebrating with a movie on my new couch I was supervising a tow truck til after Midnight that I had to move heaven and earth to find ANY information on. They also tore up my yard. Which probably costs about as much as I paid for the furniture, and the furniture at Ashley Homestore isn't exactly cheap. I do NOT recommend Ashley Homestore, this is the second issue I had with their fulfillment of delivery and setup with a 4 year gap. The first one I wrote off as a fluke, this one I won't. If you might need any help, go anywhere else.

The only company more incompetent is xfinity but it's a CLOSE race. EDIT: The experience was great except now Our couch delivery has been delayed by over a month from the original date we were told it would be delivered. This is completely unacceptable and we honestly might be canceling our order altogether because we don't want to wait 5 weeks to get a couch we were told was in stock at the time of ordering. Corey was fantastic! He helped us find exactly what we wanted. Ask him about the 3 year warranty🤣🤣

I went in with an idea of what I was looking for. Brandon knew all the right questions to ask and guided me to what should have been the perfect recliner. A little pricier than I planned to spend, I was concerned that my cats might see this as a big cat toy and I was right. I was assured this wouldn’t happen and he even brought out some tool and jabbed into it, leaving no mark. I think it was a breakaway tool. I had to cover a lot of it with furniture protectors.

Very pleased with the overall process however, Ashley store salesman told me the furniture would be assembled in my home in reality it was already assembled, so only took a 15 minutes for delivery and placement in the home.

Service up to the point of purchase was good. But once they had the money, it was a different story. The salesperson scheduled our delivery for the wrong day. She declined the opportunity to correct the mistake and instead told us to contact the store. The store was generally indifferent and acted inconvenienced by my call. Delivery was delayed several days because the were no available dates any sooner. And Jenny the Chatbot will aggravate the heck out of you. We paid $150 for "premium delivery" so we could have the furniture days later than promised.

Bought guest room furniture, accent tables, large shelves and sofa. One or two items didn’t fit in our space well, asked customer service to exchange it for other items as these are now of no use for us. Ashley’s return/exchange policy is different for each store. To their reply, there is zero return/exchange policy at this store. Like we can’t even exchange it for other furniture that suits best for our space. Wasted $5000 just because this store doesn’t consider any exchanges. Compared to other Ashley stores I have been, service/communication is off too. Not happy with our experience here. No interest in any future purchase from Ashley.

Top notch service at the Providence location in Mt. Juliet. Could not have asked for a better experience. After several bad experiences at other places, it was refreshing to finally have a really good experience buying furniture.

We made a $20,000 purchase from the Mt. Juliet store on Oct 18, 2023. We were promised we would get special attention because our order was so large. What a lie that turned out to be! It is now Dec 6 and we still do not have a dresser that is not defective. The delivery people didn’t file a report that the furniture needed repairs, we finally got the store sales person to file the work order but it went nowhere. The call center in India said there was no work order after we waited another week, a repair service was finally scheduled but they could come for 2 weeks and then they never showed up after we sat home waiting all day. We told them to bring us new pieces rather than repair. Yesterday they arrived and the dresser was even more damaged than the first one we received! We were told someone would call us in 30 minutes, still waiting for that call a day later! Everyone keeps passing the buck. The employees are totally incompetent and the furniture is hit and miss as to quality. We still need a lot of furniture for our new house but we will NOT be going back to Ashley!
